Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / FBI Calls Cathloc School Shooting a Hate Crime as Democrats Push Gun Control
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There is one thing we are getting from the Trump
- 0:03Speaker 1: administration when it comes to the shooting in Minneapolis. It
- 0:06Speaker 1: is clarity. The FBI director Caspittel saying the shooting is
- 0:11Speaker 1: now being investigated as a hate crime targeting Catholics. This
- 0:17Speaker 1: is something we did not get from the prior administration.
- 0:20Speaker 1: The FBI director used a post on x to make
- 0:24Speaker 1: it clear that the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting will be
- 0:28Speaker 1: investigated as a hate crime, specifically targeting Catholics. It was
- 0:33Speaker 1: reported that the alleged shooter changed his name from Robert
- 0:37Speaker 1: to Robin at seventeen years of age. Fox News correspondent
- 0:41Speaker 1: Brooke Taylor reported that his mother signed off on the
- 0:45Speaker 1: suspected shooter's name changed from Robert to Robin. Yet again,
- 0:48Speaker 1: another transgendered individual shooting up a school. Police indicated the
- 0:53Speaker 1: alleged shooter used a pistol, a rifle, and a shotgun
- 0:56Speaker 1: to carry out his attack on the church Wednesday morning.
- 1:00Speaker 1: From inside the church, he shot through windows, striking children
- 1:04Speaker 1: as they sat in the pews during mass. As you
- 1:07Speaker 1: know at this point when I am recording this, two
- 1:09Speaker 1: children have been killed, seventeen other individuals have been wounded.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Patel putting it on x saying updates on the shooting
- 1:19Speaker 1: in Minneapolis. The FBI is investigating. Shooting is an active
- 1:22Speaker 1: domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics. There are two fatalities,
- 1:27Speaker 1: an eight year old and a ten year old, in
- 1:29Speaker 1: addition to fourteen children and three adults that were injured.
- 1:34Speaker 1: He went on to say after that quote, the shooter
- 1:38Speaker 1: has been identified is Robin Westman, a male born as
- 1:43Speaker 1: Robert Westman. The FBI will continue to provide updates on
- 1:47Speaker 1: our ongoing investigation with the public as we are able.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Now even CNN is having to admit that this was
- 1:55Speaker 1: a radical. Here is more of what they said about
- 1:59Speaker 1: the shooter.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Breaking news, admiration for mass shooters, hatred of multiple groups,
- 2:05Speaker 2: no sympathy for any victim. It is just some of
- 2:08Speaker 2: what the shooter in today's Catholic school massacre which he
- 2:11Speaker 2: murdered two children, reveals and videos posted online. Videos that
- 2:16Speaker 2: police are scouring through right now for clues and answers
- 2:19Speaker 2: about the shooter, who has been identified as a twenty
- 2:22Speaker 2: three year old named Robin Westman. Brian Todd has the
- 2:25Speaker 2: latest on what we know about the shooter.
- 2:29Speaker 3: The coward that shot these victims took his own life
- 2:32Speaker 3: in the rear of the church. That coward has been
- 2:35Speaker 3: identified as twenty three year old Robin Westman.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Westman seems to have left a series of online videos
- 2:41Speaker 4: which describe an obsession with school shootings and even named
- 2:44Speaker 4: other mass shooters, such as the twenty twelve Sandy Hook gunman,
- 2:48Speaker 4: the Columbine gunman, and the man who attacked the Tree
- 2:51Speaker 4: of Life Synagogue in twenty eighteen.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Here's my note to my family.
- 2:59Speaker 4: The video also shows written statements and several guns painted
- 3:02Speaker 4: with slurs. In another clip, the speaker simply reads aloud
- 3:06Speaker 4: from a closed dryer, manual.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Dryer safety, Your safety and the safety of others are
- 3:12Speaker 5: very important.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Police say they also found a litany of writings.
- 3:15Speaker 3: We're also aware of a manifesto that the shooter had
- 3:19Speaker 3: time to be released on YouTube. This manifesto appeared to
- 3:23Speaker 3: show him at the scene and included some disturbing writings.
- 3:28Speaker 3: That content has since been taken down with the assistance
- 3:32Speaker 3: of the FBI, and it now remains under active review
- 3:36Speaker 3: by our investigators.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Apparently part of the plan that the shooter seemed to
- 3:39Speaker 4: illustrate in those same videos on YouTube, a photo of
- 3:42Speaker 4: a slab of wood. An actual slab of wood was
- 3:45Speaker 4: found at the scene, blocking a door from the outside.
- 3:49Speaker 6: For the exit.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Pop it through the hands.
- 3:54Speaker 4: According to social media posts, the shooter's mother worked at
- 3:57Speaker 4: the school from twenty sixteen to twenty twenty one, and
- 4:00Speaker 4: the shooter graduated from the school in twenty seventeen. The shooter,
- 4:04Speaker 4: now known as twenty three year old Robin Westman, identified
- 4:07Speaker 4: as a female and changed their name legally to Robin
- 4:10Speaker 4: from Robert in twenty twenty. The agency is investigating this
- 4:14Speaker 4: as an act of domestic terrorism and as a hate
- 4:17Speaker 4: crime targeting Catholics. Police Chief Brian O'Haras says, officials there
- 4:21Speaker 4: have not yet established enough of a motive to charge
- 4:24Speaker 4: it or to investigate it yet as a hate crime.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Aaron, that is the part that's the most shocking. You
- 4:31Speaker 1: now have two very different narratives. You have clearly leadership
- 4:35Speaker 1: and cashpiteal in the Trump administration calling this what it is,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and then you have local liberal police who are saying, no,
- 4:43Speaker 1: we don't have enough to actually look at this as
- 4:47Speaker 1: a hate crime yet. The question I would ask is
- 4:51Speaker 1: when will you have enough? As the Minneapolis police chief,
- 4:55Speaker 1: describing the attack on the mass as quote evil, noting
- 5:00Speaker 1: that the worship service was marking the first week of
- 5:02Speaker 1: school for children that are attending the Catholic school. He
- 5:06Speaker 1: described the shooting as a deliberate act of violence against
- 5:09Speaker 1: innocent children and other people worshiping, but won't call it
- 5:13Speaker 1: a hate crime yet. If you want to know what's
- 5:17Speaker 1: wrong in this country, this is a perfect example of it. Democrats,
- 5:21Speaker 1: even when evil is steering them in the face, will
- 5:24Speaker 1: refuse time and time again to call it exactly that.
- 5:29Speaker 1: If there's one thing that is happening right now, it
- 5:32Speaker 1: is that Democrats are using this to push for gun control.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Amy Klobuchar said, I have long supported assault weapons ban,
- 5:40Speaker 1: even before she knows what guns were even used. Many
- 5:44Speaker 1: others are also saying the same thing. Former White House
- 5:47Speaker 1: pressing or Tarry Jensaki breaking down in tears on MSNBC,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and then the Minnesota mayor are saying, why is it
- 5:55Speaker 1: that you can buy a gun virtually every month if
- 5:59Speaker 1: you want to too, again blaming the gun instead of
- 6:03Speaker 1: the transgendered person who they decided to say that their
- 6:07Speaker 1: mental health issues were normal and decided that you know,
- 6:12Speaker 1: we're never going to help them with their mental health
- 6:14Speaker 1: We're just going to try to normalize it. Former FBI
- 6:17Speaker 1: profiler said the shooter's parents, well, they're ones to blame
- 6:21Speaker 1: as well, saying you help them change their name. At seventeen,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that's probably when the fuse was lit. Take a listen
- 6:30Speaker 1: to a little bit more of what the FBI profiler
- 6:32Speaker 1: had to say about the shooter on Ingram Show on Fox.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Scrawl across that manifesto, James, what can you tell us
- 6:40Speaker 6: You've seen the photos.
- 6:41Speaker 1: There are various photos.
- 6:42Speaker 6: Of him circulating on the internet.
- 6:46Speaker 7: Yeah, and we're just a few weeks away from the
- 6:48Speaker 7: thirtieth anniversary of the publication of the unibombers Manifesto in
- 6:52Speaker 7: the Washington Post, and now we have Back then, it
- 6:54Speaker 7: took a whole lot of protocols to go through to
- 6:56Speaker 7: get it in the newspaper, according including from the UNI
- 7:00Speaker 7: bomber himself. Nowadays, you do these things, You plan these
- 7:03Speaker 7: mass murders, and you put it on YouTube, you know,
- 7:05Speaker 7: twenty minutes or the day before while you're singing along
- 7:08Speaker 7: to Annie, and then you know, RM songs and other
- 7:12Speaker 7: factors like that to make it so disgusting. This person, obviously,
- 7:17Speaker 7: he makes Travis Bickle, the taxi driver character look like
- 7:20Speaker 7: a piker. He is all over the place. I can't
- 7:22Speaker 7: believe there are not siblings. I think he had six
- 7:25Speaker 7: siblings parents who somehow did not see this, that there
- 7:29Speaker 7: wasn't psychological or behavioral leakage in one way or the other.
- 7:33Speaker 7: I'm not sure where he was living, with whom he
- 7:35Speaker 7: was living, but someone had to see this, And I
- 7:37Speaker 7: think we should look at laws in this country that
- 7:40Speaker 7: perhaps if you have a family connection who does something
- 7:43Speaker 7: like this and you didn't report it, you can help
- 7:44Speaker 7: them get guns, you help them change their name. At seventeen,
- 7:47Speaker 7: that's probably when the fuse was lit for this guy
- 7:50Speaker 7: to do what he did. You know, five six years.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Later now our Democrats worried about any of what was
- 7:55Speaker 1: just mentioned there. No, are they trying to stop the
- 7:57Speaker 1: next shooting before it happens. No, what they are trying
- 8:00Speaker 1: to do is use this opportunity to then say that
- 8:03Speaker 1: you cannot own a firearm. That is the entire conversation
- 8:08Speaker 1: and what it focused around on MSNBC virtually all day
- 8:12Speaker 1: and all night.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Doctors and nurses, everyone that helped.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Yeah, I saw some of the stories coming out about
- 8:18Speaker 6: that heroism and just incredible courage under tremendously insane circumstances.
- 8:29Speaker 6: There is something so perverse about the fact that these
- 8:32Speaker 6: kids drill for this, and yet it seems that that
- 8:36Speaker 6: preparation maybe was useful in this moment.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Yes, so they knew to get under the pews, they
- 8:45Speaker 5: knew what to do. And my friend's daughter was just,
- 8:48Speaker 5: you know, seventh eighth grader. She actually saw two of
- 8:51Speaker 5: her friends shot, one and the stomach, one in the neck,
- 8:53Speaker 5: and then when she got out, she had to tell
- 8:56Speaker 5: one of their parents what had happened to their own kid.
- 8:59Speaker 5: So these kids did extraordinary things, but they never should
- 9:03Speaker 5: have been put in that position in the first place.
- 9:05Speaker 5: This was a mad man. He was an all purpose
- 9:08Speaker 5: hater by the way, hated groups, left, right, you name it.
- 9:11Speaker 5: There's no way to pin an ideology on this, and
- 9:14Speaker 5: I think people should remember this as the facts come
- 9:17Speaker 5: out about this manifesto. But what I learned from this
- 9:22Speaker 5: once again is that guns and we're a proud hunting state.
- 9:26Speaker 5: There's a lot of law abiding gun owners in Minnesota.
- 9:30Speaker 5: But there's got to be more we can do here.
- 9:31Speaker 5: I've long supported an assault weapon band. It won't help
- 9:34Speaker 5: in every case, but it would helped in Uvaldi, it
- 9:36Speaker 5: would have helped in Buffalo. We don't know if it
- 9:38Speaker 5: would have helped here, or background checks or some kind
- 9:42Speaker 5: of triggers when someone suddenly buys a number of guns
- 9:45Speaker 5: or better backgrounds. This just we're not doing enough. And
- 9:49Speaker 5: these kids, no matter how many drills they have, they
- 9:51Speaker 5: shouldn't be expected to do that for us.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Isn't it amazing how the left will sit there and
- 9:57Speaker 1: use kids dying do then push for a genda. Itdel
- 10:00Speaker 1: that She even admits, we don't know if it would
- 10:02Speaker 1: have helped here at all, but I'm going to push
- 10:04Speaker 1: the political agenda anyway. This is where we are. Unfortunately,
- 10:10Speaker 1: Democrats see something that's happened and they immediately go for
- 10:13Speaker 1: one thing, your right to protect and defend yourself instantly.
- 10:19Speaker 1: A Minnesota church school shooting has happened yet again, and
- 10:24Speaker 1: yet again, the suspect was a transgendered person. The suspect
- 10:29Speaker 1: identified as a female and changed the name at seventeen
- 10:34Speaker 1: years old. A senior administration official has now confirmed that
- 10:38Speaker 1: the alleged shooter at the Minneapolis Catholic school changed from
- 10:42Speaker 1: a male name to a female name at seventeen years
- 10:45Speaker 1: of age and now identified as a female. A document
- 10:50Speaker 1: post on social media confirmed as authentic by the officials,
- 10:53Speaker 1: said they described the name change occurring in twenty twenty,
- 10:57Speaker 1: when the alleged shooter was a minor and required parental
- 11:00Speaker 1: sign off on the change. Fox News correspondent Brooke Taylor
- 11:05Speaker 1: reported that his mother signed off on the name change
- 11:08Speaker 1: from Robert to Robin. It has also been reported that
- 11:11Speaker 1: police indicated the alleged shooter used a pistol, a rifle,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and a shotgun to carry out the attack on the
- 11:17Speaker 1: school Wednesday morning. From outside the church, he shot through windows,
- 11:22Speaker 1: striking children as they sat in pews during mass. Two
- 11:26Speaker 1: children were killed and seventeen other individuals were wounded. We
- 11:30Speaker 1: hope that those numbers do not change, but they could
- 11:33Speaker 1: by the time you hear this. The shooter then took
- 11:37Speaker 1: his own life. We also know that this is a trend.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You had a transgender identifying woman that shot and killed
- 11:45Speaker 1: six innocent children at a Nashville Christian school back on
- 11:50Speaker 1: March twenty seventh of twenty twenty three. She had originally
- 11:53Speaker 1: planned to shoot up another school, but didn't why she
- 11:57Speaker 1: abandoned the plan to avoid looking racist, and there was
- 12:01Speaker 1: another school that had quote too much security. Now, there's
- 12:05Speaker 1: more on this when it comes to transgender issue. We're
- 12:09Speaker 1: going to talk about this in a moment, but there's
- 12:10Speaker 1: a bigger part of the story that you need to
- 12:12Speaker 1: know about right now, and it is a part of
- 12:15Speaker 1: the story that will not be covered by the media.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I want to take you back to two years ago.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Two years before the shooter opened fire on the students
- 12:26Speaker 1: attending daily mass in Minneapolis, the leaders of independent Catholic
- 12:32Speaker 1: schools in Minnesota begged the governor former VP candidate Tim
- 12:38Speaker 1: Waltz for help securing their schools. The funding by Tim
- 12:44Speaker 1: was never authorized. Where was funding going taxpayer dollars to
- 12:49Speaker 1: illegal immigrants. It was going to massive amounts of government
- 12:54Speaker 1: aid to illegal immigrants in his community, But protecting the kids, no,
- 13:00Speaker 1: that was something he would not do. Their letter asked
- 13:04Speaker 1: Waltz for help to secure nonprofit, non public and religious schools.
- 13:11Speaker 1: It came one week after a trans identifying shooter killed
- 13:16Speaker 1: three children and three adults in Nashville at the Covenant
- 13:21Speaker 1: Christian School. So there was a reason why they were
- 13:24Speaker 1: asking for the money, they said, after seeing that they
- 13:26Speaker 1: knew they were vulnerable and they needed help from the governor. Meanwhile,
- 13:32Speaker 1: in April of twenty twenty three, and again, I hope
- 13:36Speaker 1: all this information I'm giving you you will share wherever
- 13:39Speaker 1: you can on social media, because the media is going
- 13:41Speaker 1: to whitewash this and act like none of this ever happened.
- 13:45Speaker 1: In April of twenty twenty three, the same month the
- 13:48Speaker 1: letter was sent, Walt signed legislation establishing Minnesota as a
- 13:54Speaker 1: quote trans refuge quote unquote, promising to protect seeking gender
- 14:01Speaker 1: affirming care that according to Outfront Minnesota and the news reports,
- 14:07Speaker 1: we now know that the shooter, Robin Slash Robert Westman,
- 14:11Speaker 1: is a trans identifying man the reports now state who
- 14:15Speaker 1: identified as a woman and legally changed his name in
- 14:18Speaker 1: Minnesota with his mother's sign off, which brings us back
- 14:22Speaker 1: to the other basic point. Over and over again, we
- 14:27Speaker 1: are seeing trans individuals who have gone through some sort
- 14:32Speaker 1: of transition, who are being supported by their families, who
- 14:37Speaker 1: still are dealing with major mental health issues, and as
- 14:41Speaker 1: long as we keep acting like it is not a
- 14:44Speaker 1: mental health issue, this is going to continue to happen.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It is absolutely and utterly insane for us to sit
- 14:54Speaker 1: here and advocate and support people who believe that they
- 14:58Speaker 1: are trapped in another sex, body than what they are
- 15:02Speaker 1: to normalize it. It is a mental health issue, and
- 15:05Speaker 1: I'm not saying that in a mean, disparaging or angry way.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who believes that they
- 15:14Speaker 1: are trapped in another person's body, another sex, or the
- 15:17Speaker 1: wrong sex and what they are. But let me also
- 15:20Speaker 1: say this very clearly, there is a real threat to
- 15:24Speaker 1: all of our kids now because we have at least
- 15:28Speaker 1: part of the country has tried to normalize mental health
- 15:31Speaker 1: issues and acting like there is nothing wrong when someone
- 15:36Speaker 1: says they're trapped and the wrong sexual body, the wrong sex.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And the longer that we continue down this road, the
- 15:44Speaker 1: longer we act like this as normal, when everyone knows
- 15:47Speaker 1: that it is not normal, we are going to continue
- 15:51Speaker 1: to see these types of things happen. I want you
- 15:55Speaker 1: to think about the place you have to be in
- 15:57Speaker 1: to be this young and to want to go kill
- 16:00Speaker 1: innocent children, shooting them while they're at mass I want
- 16:03Speaker 1: you to think about how radical and extreme you have
- 16:06Speaker 1: to be in your head to then kill yourself, to
- 16:08Speaker 1: turn the gun on yourself. This is a mental health issue,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and the problem now is the radical left is tried
- 16:17Speaker 1: to normalize it. Instead of giving people the help that
- 16:20Speaker 1: they need. Instead, they're saying no, no, let's encourage and
- 16:24Speaker 1: advocate and support an individual who's clearly dealing with a
- 16:29Speaker 1: major mental health issue. And that is the problem. This
- 16:34Speaker 1: is exactly why we must as a nation stand up
- 16:37Speaker 1: to this and say no, we are not going to
- 16:40Speaker 1: normalize it, and we're not going to act like you're
- 16:43Speaker 1: a bad person if you say what I'm saying right now.
- 16:46Speaker 1: We need to call it out because we are not
- 16:49Speaker 1: doing anybody any favors and we're not actually helping people
- 16:54Speaker 1: when we try to normalize a real mental health condition. Finally,
- 17:00Speaker 1: let me also say this, this is why the President
- 17:03Speaker 1: United States of America I'm proud of for leading on
- 17:06Speaker 1: protecting women's sports. He is not normalizing a dude acting
- 17:11Speaker 1: like a chick in women's sports. Women's sports should be
- 17:15Speaker 1: for women, men's sports should be for men. And if
- 17:18Speaker 1: you want to start a messed up trans league, I
- 17:21Speaker 1: mean it when I say this, knock yourself out, do it.
- 17:25Speaker 1: But do not open up sports to the opposite sex
- 17:29Speaker 1: and act like that is fair. The radical left, unfortunately
- 17:32Speaker 1: has lost their mind. They're not defending women's sports. They
- 17:37Speaker 1: are not doing what they need to do to protect women,
- 17:41Speaker 1: and the President is doing it through legislation as well.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And all of us should be advocating and supporting women
- 17:49Speaker 1: and protecting women, protecting them in the locker rooms, protecting
- 17:53Speaker 1: them in sports, protecting them when it comes to scholarships,
- 17:57Speaker 1: protecting it when it comes to going to the Olympics.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And this is another example of the culture war we
- 18:04Speaker 1: are in right now in this country. There are sane
- 18:07Speaker 1: people like you and I that believe that this is insanity,
- 18:12Speaker 1: and the media and the radical left have been pushing
- 18:15Speaker 1: this other narrative, this totally insane narrative, for far too long,
- 18:21Speaker 1: and all of us, I believe, have an obligation and
- 18:24Speaker 1: a duty to refuse to accept this is some sort
- 18:29Speaker 1: of great idea. Now, let me also say this, what
- 18:33Speaker 1: I just told you is not being talked about anywhere.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I really want you to take the podcast and I
- 18:39Speaker 1: want you to share it wherever you can on social media.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Please share it because this is important that people know
- 18:45Speaker 1: the real story. Share it because they need to know
- 18:47Speaker 1: what Tim Waltz did not do to protect children, even
- 18:50Speaker 1: after they were asked for protection, putting illegal immigrants ahead
- 18:55Speaker 1: of children in school that need a protection and not
- 18:58Speaker 1: protect them, probably because they're in a religious institution. This
- 19:02Speaker 1: is something everyone needs to know, so makes you share
- 19:05Speaker 1: this wherever you can around the country. I want to
- 19:09Speaker 1: talk to you about my friends at Kirk Elliott Precious Metals.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Two days ago, I got my new order of silver.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Now I'm investing in silver right now because the pricing
- 19:20Speaker 1: on it is amazing and the upside well, it's real.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I actually have a one hundred ounce silver bar. It
- 19:29Speaker 1: is actually really cool. It's really heavy because it's one
- 19:32Speaker 1: hundred ounces. But I also know that I bought it
- 19:35Speaker 1: at the right price and I wasn't paying massive up
- 19:38Speaker 1: charges on quote rare are special coins, and then when
- 19:42Speaker 1: you go to sell them, you take away all of
- 19:44Speaker 1: your earning potential. Why do they do it this way
- 19:47Speaker 1: at Kurt Elliot because they have transparent pricing up front.
- 19:51Speaker 1: It's very simple. You pay eight percent when you buy,
- 19:55Speaker 1: and here's what matters to you the most, nothing when
- 19:58Speaker 1: you sell. There are no hidden fees. Ever with Kurt
- 20:03Speaker 1: Elliott Precious Metals. This is the reason why I recommend them.
- 20:07Speaker 1: It's not just about investing, it's about making sure you
- 20:11Speaker 1: get more for your money, and that is exactly why
- 20:14Speaker 1: Kurt Elliott helps people all the time. Whether it's gold
- 20:18Speaker 1: or silver, you can hold it, be a good steward
- 20:20Speaker 1: of it, you can pass it on to future generations,
- 20:23Speaker 1: and you can build wealth with it. It's real, bollyon,

- 21:26Speaker 1: The media and the Democrats, Yeah, guess what they lied
- 21:29Speaker 1: to you again. They got it wrong again. They said
- 21:32Speaker 1: that Donald Trump was going to destroy the economy, that
- 21:35Speaker 1: the big beautiful bill was going to send us into
- 21:37Speaker 1: a recession, that the president was out of control. Well
- 21:42Speaker 1: guess what they lied to you. The US economy is
- 21:46Speaker 1: surging past expectations as spending and investments are soaring. The
- 21:53Speaker 1: US economy expanded faster than initially estimated in the spring.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Why Americans spent more freely and businesses stepped up investment
- 22:04Speaker 1: in their businesses. According to the revised government data, gross
- 22:09Speaker 1: domestic product rose at three point three percent annualized rate
- 22:13Speaker 1: in the second quarter. That is up from the Commerce
- 22:17Speaker 1: Department's initial three point zero percent estimate and above the
- 22:21Speaker 1: three point one percent pace that economists had forecasts. So
- 22:25Speaker 1: they beat not one, but two expectations. The acceleration followed
- 22:30Speaker 1: modest growth in the first quarter. We're being told as well.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Now the upward revision reflects household spending more on a
- 22:39Speaker 1: couple different things number one healthcare, two pharmaceuticals, and three
- 22:43Speaker 1: something completely different than that, dining out. So what does
- 22:47Speaker 1: that mean. It means people feel comfortable and confident in
- 22:53Speaker 1: their income right now now. It also shared us something
- 22:57Speaker 1: else with businesses, small businesses, mid sized businesses, and large businesses.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Companies boosted purchases of number one equipment that tells you
- 23:08Speaker 1: they feel good about a growing business structure and intellectual property,
- 23:13Speaker 1: meaning that they're also these businesses are willing to invest
- 23:18Speaker 1: in future expensive intelligence right intellectual property. Business investment was
- 23:24Speaker 1: driven by quote stronger outlays on software, on research and development,
- 23:30Speaker 1: including things like light trucks and commercial structures, so people
- 23:35Speaker 1: are expanding. You don't do these things unless you have
- 23:39Speaker 1: confidence in an economy. We also know that the media
- 23:43Speaker 1: lied to you about Trump's trade wars and the tariffs.
- 23:47Speaker 1: All of this was happening when they said that things
- 23:49Speaker 1: were going to be stopped, that there was going to
- 23:52Speaker 1: be a retraction in the economy because of the instability
- 23:56Speaker 1: and the insanity as they described it of Donald Trump's
- 23:59Speaker 1: trade wars. Guess what they lied to you again. In fact,
- 24:04Speaker 1: trade flows also contributed to the growth, so they just
- 24:08Speaker 1: lied with pure propaganda that was anti Trump. Imports, which
- 24:13Speaker 1: subtract from GDP calculations, declined after surging in the first
- 24:17Speaker 1: quarter ahead of the new tariffs on some goods. We
- 24:20Speaker 1: also know the export slip but not enough to offset
- 24:24Speaker 1: the boom and the booze from fewer foreign goods flowing
- 24:28Speaker 1: into the country, which is exactly what Donald Trump predicted.
- 24:32Speaker 1: A key gauge by the way of underlying domestic demand
- 24:36Speaker 1: and the real final sales to private domestic purchasers, which
- 24:40Speaker 1: is an important category, excludes trade inventories and government spinning
- 24:47Speaker 1: also rose, so this is like genuine private sector nothing
- 24:50Speaker 1: to do with the government. It rose at one point
- 24:53Speaker 1: nine percent rate, up from one point two percent in
- 24:56Speaker 1: the earlier estimate. So every virtual metric of what the
- 25:00Speaker 1: expectations were, the Trump administration blew them out of the water. Now,
- 25:06Speaker 1: price pressures remained in check. What does that mean? Personal consumption,
- 25:10Speaker 1: expenditure and the price index the Federal reserves preferred inflation
- 25:14Speaker 1: gauge increase at a two point zero percent annual rate
- 25:19Speaker 1: that was matching the Central Bank's target. Core prices, which
- 25:23Speaker 1: exclude violatile food and energy costs, advanced at a two
- 25:27Speaker 1: point five percent pace as well. Government spending, by the way,
- 25:32Speaker 1: was also revised. I never get to say this lower.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Let me just say that again. Government spending was revised lower.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Why it was driven by reduced state and local outlays
- 25:44Speaker 1: which tempered some of their well, you know, hey spending.
- 25:49Speaker 1: That is amazing. The income side, also of national accounts
- 25:53Speaker 1: painted a similar robust picture. Real gross domestic income climbed
- 25:59Speaker 1: at a four point eight percent rate. Our corporate profits
- 26:03Speaker 1: rebounded after declining in the first quarter. The Commerce Department
- 26:07Speaker 1: is scheduled by the WAY to release its third and
- 26:11Speaker 1: final estimate of second quarter GDP, along with annual benchmark
- 26:16Speaker 1: revisions to historic data, on September twenty fifth. So let
- 26:21Speaker 1: me just recap for you. This is massive growth for
- 26:26Speaker 1: our economy that Donald Trump promised.
- 26:29Speaker 7: You have.
- 26:29Speaker 1: The US economy's real GDP for the second quarter of
- 26:32Speaker 1: twenty twenty five revised upward to three point three percent
- 26:36Speaker 1: annualized growth. The media lied to you, and they told
- 26:39Speaker 1: you this would not happen. The initial estimate was three
- 26:43Speaker 1: point zero percent. They believed you weren't going to get there.
- 26:46Speaker 1: They lied. This marks a significant rebound from the negative
- 26:52Speaker 1: zero point five percent contraction in quarter one of twenty
- 26:56Speaker 1: twenty five. And again the media said that this was
- 26:58Speaker 1: a disaster of Trump's and the trade war, and it
- 27:02Speaker 1: was going to be just horrific, and you were going
- 27:04Speaker 1: to not be able to find things on the shelves,
- 27:05Speaker 1: and that you weren't going to be able to find
- 27:07Speaker 1: a job, and that no one was going to be
- 27:08Speaker 1: hiring and no one's going to be manufacturing. All of
- 27:11Speaker 1: that was a lie. The uptick in Q two performance again,
- 27:17Speaker 1: why did it happen? Driven by stronger business investments so
- 27:21Speaker 1: people have confidence something that the media said was not there.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And consumer spending something that they said wouldn't happen. Another lie.
- 27:30Speaker 1: It also was a drop. We had a drop in imports.
- 27:34Speaker 1: What does that mean? That's better for American workers. That
- 27:37Speaker 1: means that we are we are more stable and we're
- 27:40Speaker 1: not depending on so much foreign trade. And then, by
- 27:44Speaker 1: the way, we all said money that came in that
- 27:47Speaker 1: paid down our debt because of all the tariffs the
- 27:50Speaker 1: present has put in, we now know that it could
- 27:52Speaker 1: be more than a half a trillion dollars. It's collected
- 27:54Speaker 1: by the US government this year alone. The measure of
- 27:58Speaker 1: real final sales to private domestic purchasers, which includes consumer
- 28:02Speaker 1: spending and business investment, that was revised up to one
- 28:06Speaker 1: point nine percent from the prior estimate of one point two. Again,
- 28:10Speaker 1: the media and the Democrats lied to you. So let's
- 28:13Speaker 1: break it down to consumer spending. Donald Trump promised you
- 28:16Speaker 1: that you were going to feel confident and you were
- 28:18Speaker 1: going to want to be in the game and expand
- 28:21Speaker 1: your businesses. Well, real personal consumption expenditures grew one point
- 28:26Speaker 1: two percent in Q two. That is an incredible growth
- 28:30Speaker 1: based on what they said was coming, which was a disaster.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Let me give you another example of this. Monthly data
- 28:36Speaker 1: for June alone showed a zero point three percent rise
- 28:41Speaker 1: in consumer spending. That is consistent, it is stable, and
- 28:45Speaker 1: it was an expansion that the economists and the media
- 28:49Speaker 1: and the left said was not going to happen. Again,
- 28:52Speaker 1: another lie on a quarter over quarter basis. For example,
- 28:57Speaker 1: real consumer spending increase from zero point five percent in
- 29:01Speaker 1: Q one to one point six percent in Q two. Again,
- 29:04Speaker 1: that is an explosion of spending. And why did this happen?
- 29:08Speaker 1: Because people have faith in Donald Trump's policies. So let's
- 29:13Speaker 1: deal with corporate profits and business investment because that's going
- 29:16Speaker 1: to drive income for Americans. Corporate profits rebounded in quarter
- 29:22Speaker 1: two with a gain of you ready for this, thank you,
- 29:25Speaker 1: Donald Trump, sixty five point five billion. Let me explain
- 29:31Speaker 1: how big of a of a fix this is. In
- 29:34Speaker 1: the prior quarter Q one, there was a ninety point
- 29:38Speaker 1: six billion dollar decline. So not only did we wipe
- 29:41Speaker 1: out the ninety point six billion dollar decline in Q one,
- 29:44Speaker 1: we added sixty five point five billion to that. That
- 29:47Speaker 1: is insane. Business investments contributed meaningfully to the GDP rebound,
- 29:53Speaker 1: showing growth and equipment in structures, intellectual property AI related investments,
- 29:59Speaker 1: and life vehicles, meaning that these are companies that are
- 30:02Speaker 1: saying it's time to buy a new fleet of vehicles.
- 30:04Speaker 1: That's something that you do not do if you are
- 30:07Speaker 1: unsure about the economy. Let me also just be very clear,
- 30:12Speaker 1: all of these games were happening while the media was
- 30:14Speaker 1: hammering Trump. The Democrats were hammering Trump's Trump policies and
- 30:20Speaker 1: saying that the tariffs were going to be a disaster. Yes,
- 30:25Speaker 1: the fight on tariffs was happening. Interest rates, by the way,
- 30:28Speaker 1: have remained high. The President's been arguing over that with
- 30:31Speaker 1: a FED chair saying you got to bring them down.
- 30:34Speaker 1: They said that was going to dampen future investment and growth.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Part of the reason why people thought that the FED
- 30:39Speaker 1: chairman was doing it to not help Donald Trump but
- 30:42Speaker 1: to hurt him. So with a tariff war and with
- 30:44Speaker 1: high interest rates, you still have all the data that
- 30:48Speaker 1: I just gave you, So Yes, the US economy saw
- 30:52Speaker 1: a massive bounce back in Q two with GDP growth
- 30:56Speaker 1: driven by improved private consumption and investment because of Trump's
- 31:01Speaker 1: policies that was contrary to the idea of spending going
- 31:04Speaker 1: through the roof right that the left was like, will
- 31:08Speaker 1: never happen. So they were lying to you. Now did
- 31:11Speaker 1: they know they were lying to you? Yes? Were the
- 31:13Speaker 1: economic indicators there? Yes, the economic indicators were in fact there,
- 31:19Speaker 1: and it showed that this was a real thing that
- 31:22Speaker 1: was going to happen. And they didn't want it to happen.
- 31:24Speaker 1: They wanted to undermine the president. They wanted to undermine you,
- 31:28Speaker 1: the American worker. They wanted this to be a failure.
- 31:32Speaker 1: The failure didn't happen because the President of United States
- 31:35Speaker 1: of America said, I'm not flinching. I'm going to fix
- 31:38Speaker 1: the problem with the trade war. I'm going to stop
- 31:40Speaker 1: allowing countries to take advantage of us. I'm going to
- 31:42Speaker 1: bring in income in a way that you haven't seen
- 31:45Speaker 1: before with tariffs, and I'm not backing down. And that
- 31:49Speaker 1: is exactly what the President of the United States of
- 31:51Speaker 1: America did. Job well done, President Trump. And the most
- 31:55Speaker 1: important thing is this is great news for every American
- 32:01Speaker 1: that is out there don't forget share this podcast. Please
- 32:04Speaker 1: with your family and your friends wherever they are, and
- 32:08Speaker 1: I will see you back here tomorrow
