- 0:01Speaker 1: A US The US has launched a retaliatory strike after
- 0:05Speaker 1: a drone attack on Iraqi military base wounds three US
- 0:09Speaker 1: service members. The Pentagon has now confirmed a drone attack
- 0:15Speaker 1: by a Rean affiliated terrorist group on a military base
- 0:19Speaker 1: in Iraq happened early Monday morning. It has left three
- 0:23Speaker 1: US service members wounded, the Pentagon has said and prompted
- 0:27Speaker 1: President Biden to order quote retaliatory strikes. The attack on
- 0:33Speaker 1: the Herbil Air Base in northern Iraq was conducted by
- 0:38Speaker 1: Hesbaalah militants backed by Iran. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said
- 0:44Speaker 1: in his statement. One of the three service members wounded
- 0:47Speaker 1: is in critical condition, Austin disclosed in response, Thank goodness,
- 0:52Speaker 1: mister Biden, after being brief and holding a call with
- 0:55Speaker 1: Austin and his national security team, ordered retaliatory strikes on
- 0:59Speaker 1: three low kisations utilized by hes Blah and affiliated groups,
- 1:04Speaker 1: focused specifically on unmanned aerial drone activities, the National Security
- 1:09Speaker 1: spokesman Watson said in a statement. Now, according to US
- 1:13Speaker 1: Central Command, the retaliatory strike on the three sites, all
- 1:17Speaker 1: located in Iraq, were conducted at eight forty five Eastern
- 1:22Speaker 1: time and likely killed a number of the hes BLA militants,
- 1:26Speaker 1: no civilians.
- 1:27Speaker 2: They say, we're believed to have been wounded and or killed.
- 1:30Speaker 1: S Com also said in a statement, this obviously is significant.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Iraqi officials said the US strike killed one militant and
- 1:39Speaker 1: injured eighteen. The Associated Press is now also reporting Baghdad
- 1:45Speaker 1: has denounced the US strikes as a quote hostile act.
- 1:48Speaker 1: The AFP news agency is reporting the government called them
- 1:52Speaker 1: an unacceptable attack on Iraqi sovereignty that damage relations, they
- 1:56Speaker 1: claim between Iraq and the US. There have been dozens
- 2:01Speaker 1: of attacks by Iranian backed militant groups and militias targeting
- 2:06Speaker 1: US forces in Iraq and Sirius since the violent October
- 2:09Speaker 1: seventh Teririst assault on Israel by Hamas, a group that
- 2:13Speaker 1: US officials have long said received financial and material aid
- 2:17Speaker 1: and support from Iran, and in response, US forces have
- 2:21Speaker 1: conducted several rounds of strikes on what defensivefic will say
- 2:25Speaker 1: are Iranian linked weapons facilities and Iran backed fighters now.
- 2:30Speaker 1: On November twentieth, several US service members were injured in
- 2:34Speaker 1: another molistic missile attack by Iran back militias on another
- 2:40Speaker 1: air base in Iraq. The Pentagon has confirmed as well
- 2:43Speaker 1: and in similar fashion to Monday's retaliation, the US immediately
- 2:48Speaker 1: launched strikes on militia, link facilities and personnel. Now, this
- 2:51Speaker 1: is the part that is so frustrating. What is so
- 2:55Speaker 1: frustrating is we know where to hit, and we're not hitting.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Them in advance. Let me say that again.
- 3:00Speaker 1: We know where to hit, and we're not hitting them
- 3:04Speaker 1: in advance. This also comes as a very somber time
- 3:08Speaker 1: in Israel, including in Bethlehem. If you talk about Christmas
- 3:14Speaker 1: and you know the history of Christmas, you understand the
- 3:17Speaker 1: significance of the Holy Site Bethlehem. What has happened this
- 3:22Speaker 1: Christmas in Bethlehem because of the attacks by Hamas and
- 3:26Speaker 1: the pro Palestinian groups, they have basically had to shut
- 3:29Speaker 1: it down. I want you to hear another story, again,
- 3:33Speaker 1: shocking story about what's happening in Israel because of their
- 3:39Speaker 1: threats against their country. Take a listen to this from CBS.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Good even give me one. Thank you for joining us.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I'm Major Garrett infer Nora. We begin this Christmas night
- 3:48Speaker 3: in Gaza with some of the most intense fightings since
- 3:51Speaker 3: the start of the war. Israel launched air strikes on
- 3:54Speaker 3: about two hundred targets in the last twenty four hours,
- 3:57Speaker 3: including a refugee camp that strike killed more than one
- 4:01Speaker 3: hundred civilians. Anger and frustration over hostages held by Hamas
- 4:06Speaker 3: is growing. Family members heckled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin netanyahuo
- 4:11Speaker 3: today during a speech to Parliament their message bring their
- 4:14Speaker 3: loved ones home, and now fears the war will escalate
- 4:19Speaker 3: beyond Gaza. After a suspected Israeli airstrike on the Syrian
- 4:22Speaker 3: capital of Damascus killed a senior leader of Iran's Revolutionary Guard,
- 4:27Speaker 3: Iran Is vowing revenge elsewhere. Pope Francis used his Christmas
- 4:32Speaker 3: message to ask the world to pray for peace as
- 4:34Speaker 3: he called for a ceasefire and the release of all hostages.
- 4:39Speaker 2: CBS's MPTS tie.
- 4:40Speaker 3: It will start us off tonight from East Jerusalem as
- 4:43Speaker 3: the Egyptian government introduces an ambitious plan to end the
- 4:46Speaker 3: war MTS Good Evening.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Good evening well. The Egyptian proposal includes a ceasefire, a
- 4:53Speaker 4: phased release of hostages, and the creation of a Palestinian
- 4:56Speaker 4: government of experts who would lead the Gaza Strip and
- 5:00Speaker 4: the West Bank. But amid reports, Hamas has already rejected
- 5:04Speaker 4: the deal. Israeli airstrikes on Gaza are only intensifying. Christmas
- 5:11Speaker 4: was a day of carnage in Gaza after the Israeli
- 5:15Speaker 4: military carried out dozens of air strikes on the Magazi
- 5:18Speaker 4: refugee camp, killing at least one hundred Palestinians, according to
- 5:22Speaker 4: the Hamas run Ministry of Health and what's being described
- 5:25Speaker 4: as one of the deadliest Israeli attacks since the fighting began.
- 5:30Speaker 4: On the ground, the grief was unbearable as a father
- 5:34Speaker 4: hugged the lifeless body of his child. The Israeli military
- 5:38Speaker 4: said it was reviewing the incident after announcing seventeen of
- 5:43Speaker 4: its soldiers had been killed over the weekend, its worst
- 5:46Speaker 4: two day losses since early November. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanya,
- 5:51Speaker 4: who met with soldiers in northern Gaza, where he told
- 5:54Speaker 4: them for good and we will not stop. Forget anyone
- 5:58Speaker 4: who talks about stopping elsewhere. In the West Bank city
- 6:02Speaker 4: of Bethlehem, in the shadow of the Church of the Nativity,
- 6:06Speaker 4: a sole incubator inside a figure representing Baby Jesus as
- 6:11Speaker 4: a symbol of Gaza's vulnerable babies.
- 6:14Speaker 2: A grim theme also.
- 6:15Speaker 4: On display in nearby Major Square, where a stark Nativity
- 6:19Speaker 4: scene of Christ born amid rubble and barbed wire was
- 6:23Speaker 4: set up this Christmas. The Holy City of Bethlehem was
- 6:27Speaker 4: in no mood to celebrate. Back in Gaza, the small
- 6:30Speaker 4: Christian community, one of the world's oldest, continue to struggle
- 6:35Speaker 4: to survive, but danger is everywhere around them. Two women,
- 6:40Speaker 4: eighty one year old Nahida Khalil Antune and her fifty
- 6:44Speaker 4: year old daughter Samar, were shot and killed by an
- 6:46Speaker 4: Israeli sniper as they walked between church buildings.
- 6:50Speaker 2: In Bethlehem.
- 6:51Speaker 4: We met Nahita's grandson, Joudi, who is sick with worry
- 6:55Speaker 4: for his grieving grandfather.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Saw I don't know what she to deserve.
- 7:00Speaker 4: This, he says. She was just an innocent old lady.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Is she in law? To Zimphi? It's Christmas?
- 7:08Speaker 4: How are you feeling today? You're all sad, anxious and
- 7:13Speaker 4: full of worry, he says. They are trapped in under siege,
- 7:17Speaker 4: without food or water. Again, there's nothing to celebrate and
- 7:22Speaker 4: I'm I'm a idea and tonight, Israel says it's bracing
- 7:26Speaker 4: for retaliation from Tehran as Iranian state media reports that
- 7:30Speaker 4: in Israeli airstrike in Syria killed a high ranking Iranian
- 7:35Speaker 4: military leader with the Revolutionary Guards saying Israel will pay
- 7:39Speaker 4: for his killing, a threat that only adds to the
- 7:42Speaker 4: concern this war could spread across the region.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Major you listen to that report, and again it's the
- 7:49Speaker 1: Uranium media now reporting major retaliatory tax will take place,
- 7:54Speaker 1: major retaliatory tax will take place on Israel this after
- 7:58Speaker 1: and a lot of people don't understand this, so I
- 8:00Speaker 1: want to make sure this is very clear. The part
- 8:03Speaker 1: that I think is the most frustrating is notice how
- 8:05Speaker 1: even the media is promoting, yet again, every single bit
- 8:10Speaker 1: of information that comes out from the Hamas Palestinian government
- 8:17Speaker 1: as fact. Did you notice that they're acting like it
- 8:21Speaker 1: is all fact. If they say one hundred people got murdered, right,
- 8:26Speaker 1: that's how they report it. We know that they lie,
- 8:29Speaker 1: we know that they manipulate, We know that they don't
- 8:31Speaker 1: tell the truth. We know that they are constantly not
- 8:36Speaker 1: telling us accurately what's really.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Going on and what's happening.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And yet you hear in the media they still continue
- 8:43Speaker 1: to report it by saying, well, this is what they're
- 8:46Speaker 1: saying and putting it out there. Israel has already responded
- 8:50Speaker 1: in several different ways in several different ways that they've said, Hey,
- 8:57Speaker 1: some of the information that you just heard is not accurate.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Saying that we hit this a certain site where there
- 9:03Speaker 1: was all these innocent people. They're also saying is not
- 9:06Speaker 1: accurate at this hour. Also internally, they're saying the number
- 9:10Speaker 1: of people that came number police are excuse me, number
- 9:14Speaker 1: of people that went to the hospital does not match
- 9:16Speaker 1: up with a number of victims that they are claiming
- 9:18Speaker 1: actually happen in one of those attacks. I just want
- 9:21Speaker 1: to put that information out there. But you go back
- 9:23Speaker 1: to the core, you go back to the basics of this.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You can hear and this is happening, and I warned
- 9:29Speaker 1: you it was going to happen. There is a massive,
- 9:33Speaker 1: massive turn against Israel happening right now. It is full
- 9:37Speaker 1: speed ahead against anyone who disagrees with what Israel is doing.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Defending themselves.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You heard net and Yahoo there telling them we will
- 9:47Speaker 1: not stop, we will not stop. After what happened to
- 9:50Speaker 1: them on the seventh. I do not blame them for
- 9:53Speaker 1: quote not stopping. For more than ten years, Patriot Mobile
- 9:58Speaker 1: has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. They stand
- 10:03Speaker 1: behind their values and they stand behind exceptional service. They're
- 10:07Speaker 1: an example of putting the cause a head of profit,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and that is why I am proud to partner with them.

- 11:22Speaker 1: dot com slash ferguson or ninety seven to two Patriot.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I want to get to one other aspect of what
- 11:29Speaker 1: also is happening right now in this in the country,
- 11:32Speaker 1: in the world. And it doesn't deal with Israel, it
- 11:34Speaker 1: doesn't deal with a Ran, and I'm going to keep
- 11:36Speaker 1: monitoring that for you, but it deals with the economy.
- 11:39Speaker 1: There are a lot of people over the holidays that
- 11:41Speaker 1: we're talking about the economy and how things are changing.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Joe Biden has come out and he was asked a
- 11:47Speaker 1: simple question about the economy and just how bad the
- 11:50Speaker 1: economy is right now and how things are turning. Listen
- 11:54Speaker 1: to what Joe Biden had to say about the current
- 11:57Speaker 1: economic conditions.
- 11:59Speaker 4: About the economy or what's your outlook on the founding
- 12:01Speaker 4: off here?
- 12:02Speaker 2: All goods, thank you, Look, go report of the right way,
- 12:09Speaker 2: start reporting it the right way.
- 12:10Speaker 1: He's mumbling his words there, but he said, with the economy,
- 12:13Speaker 1: it is all good, nothing wrong with the economy, Go
- 12:18Speaker 1: and report it the right way. The problem is Democrats
- 12:22Speaker 1: are now moving the opposite of that, as Democratic colleague,
- 12:27Speaker 1: dodging questions on Donald Trump's economy, admitting Rocanna saying food
- 12:32Speaker 1: and gas prices are high, along with the rent and
- 12:36Speaker 1: interest rates.
- 12:37Speaker 2: That's right.
- 12:38Speaker 1: On Friday's broadcast on Fox Noutionel America reports Representative Rocana,
- 12:42Speaker 1: Democrat from California, told the truth about where the economy is,
- 12:47Speaker 1: especially as new polling data is showing that many Americans
- 12:50Speaker 1: feel very uneasy heading into next year.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Americans have mixed feelings about the state of the economy
- 12:57Speaker 5: heading into twenty twenty four, and it's causing some alarm
- 13:00Speaker 5: among Democrats over President Biden making Bidenomics a major focus
- 13:04Speaker 5: of his reelection campaign. Let's bring in California Democratic Congressman
- 13:08Speaker 5: Rotekanna for more on this. Congressman, thanks so much for
- 13:11Speaker 5: being here. I want to start off with just some
- 13:14Speaker 5: graphics of the price change on some big sectors since
- 13:19Speaker 5: the president took office and now, I mean, if you
- 13:20Speaker 5: look at gas, it's up twenty seven percent over this
- 13:23Speaker 5: period of time that he's been in office, electricity twenty
- 13:26Speaker 5: three percent, food twenty percent, rent eighteen percent, and if
- 13:30Speaker 5: you go over to borrowing rates, the thirty year fixed
- 13:32Speaker 5: rate mortgage is one hundred and forty percent car Loans
- 13:34Speaker 5: nearly sixty.
- 13:36Speaker 2: The list goes on.
- 13:37Speaker 5: So that's really what's being reflected in the polls why
- 13:39Speaker 5: people are not happy about the state of the economy.
- 13:42Speaker 5: Do you think that the president should stick with Bidenomics?
- 13:47Speaker 6: Well, I think we have to acknowledge that rents are high,
- 13:50Speaker 6: interest rates are high, food and.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Gas prices are high.
- 13:54Speaker 6: But wages also have gone up, and this president as
- 13:57Speaker 6: ushered in they manufacturing revolution to bring back jobs.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I was encouraged today that.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Sectary Romando said no, we're not going to allow this
- 14:06Speaker 6: nip on a steel company to buy us deal. We're
- 14:09Speaker 6: going to look into it. That's a big issue. I
- 14:11Speaker 6: think the administration needs to reject that deal and emphasize
- 14:14Speaker 6: bringing manufacturing home.
- 14:16Speaker 5: But just does Bidenomics itself work? I mean, if you
- 14:21Speaker 5: ditch Bidenomics, it might look like a failure on his
- 14:24Speaker 5: big reelection initiative, but it does to a lot of
- 14:26Speaker 5: people seem out of touch. Do you think he should
- 14:28Speaker 5: stick with the Moniker.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yes or no?
- 14:32Speaker 6: Well, yeah, Bidenomics is about bringing manufacturing back. I think most
- 14:35Speaker 6: people would agree about that. Many dynamics is about increasing
- 14:38Speaker 6: wages for the working class. That doesn't mean you say
- 14:40Speaker 6: everything is grossy. Obviously you acknowledge interest rates are high,
- 14:44Speaker 6: caused by the Fed. Obviously you acknowledge that prices are high.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Okay, so your team Bidenomics appreciate that. I want to
- 14:51Speaker 5: go quickly to this news in Colorado.
- 14:53Speaker 2: By the way, let's just stop there.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I love how he's like, oh, everything's too high, but
- 14:57Speaker 1: Bidenomics is somehow still working.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Wait what.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I mean it's still working? How is it still working?
- 15:05Speaker 6: Like?
- 15:06Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 15:07Speaker 1: I think we have to acknowledge that rents are high,
- 15:09Speaker 1: interest rates are high, food and gas prints are high,
- 15:11Speaker 1: but wages have also gone up. And the President has
- 15:13Speaker 1: ushered in manufacturing revolution.
- 15:15Speaker 2: We are now in a revolution.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He said, he is ushered in a manufacturing revolution to
- 15:23Speaker 1: bring back jobs. When did that happen, he said, I
- 15:27Speaker 1: was encouraged by the Secretary saying, no, we're not going
- 15:30Speaker 1: to allow this Asian, this Chinese steel company to buy
- 15:34Speaker 1: a US steel We're going to look into it.
- 15:36Speaker 2: That's a big issue. That doesn't mean that.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You manufactured are ushered in a manufacturing revolution to bring
- 15:44Speaker 1: back jobs. By the way, I'm all in favor of
- 15:47Speaker 1: bringing back jobs. But you listen to the hosts they're asking,
- 15:50Speaker 1: does Bidenomics itself work? Quote, if you ditch Bidenomics, it
- 15:54Speaker 1: might look like a failure on his reelection initiat.
- 15:58Speaker 2: But it does to a lot of people seem out
- 16:00Speaker 2: of touch. Do you think you should stick with it?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Monikers, yes or no, con saying, well, yeah, Bidenomics about
- 16:07Speaker 1: bringing manufacturing back. Since when show me real and big
- 16:12Speaker 1: manufacturing that's coming back. I'd love to see it. I
- 16:15Speaker 1: don't see it. I don't believe you. The facts don't
- 16:18Speaker 1: back it up. The facts don't adequately back up any
- 16:22Speaker 1: of this. The idea that this is somehow working, I'm sorry.
- 16:27Speaker 1: The idea that Bidenomics isn't anything but a disaster, not
- 16:31Speaker 1: because I say it.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I want to be clear about that. It is not
- 16:36Speaker 2: because I say it.
- 16:37Speaker 1: It's because that's the reality of the situation, based on data,
- 16:42Speaker 1: based on stats, based on home prices, mortgage prices, interest rates,
- 16:46Speaker 1: the list goes on and on. It's based on all
- 16:49Speaker 1: of that. It's not based on politics or political ideology.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Right that it could be good for one and bad
- 16:59Speaker 1: for another, are Okay, that's not the case at all.
- 17:03Speaker 1: It's very clear, It is abundantly clear that it is because.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Of a very simple thing.
- 17:14Speaker 1: He has put in policies and put in programs that
- 17:18Speaker 1: clearly do not work and have not worked. That is Bidenomics,
- 17:26Speaker 1: whether you want to admit it or not. That's what
- 17:29Speaker 1: Bidenomics is. That's what Bidenomics looks like. And the American
- 17:34Speaker 1: voter is smart enough to understand now that things cost more.
- 17:37Speaker 1: The American voters are smart enough to understand that the
- 17:41Speaker 1: prices are high, and the reason why prices are high
- 17:45Speaker 1: is because of it is because of what I just mentioned.
- 17:48Speaker 1: When your policies are failure, and notice this, the Democratic
- 17:53Speaker 1: Party is refusing.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Okay, let's be very very very very very clear.
- 18:00Speaker 1: The Democratic Party is refusing to admit that their policy
- 18:05Speaker 1: is hurting Americans. And they'd rather stick by a slogan
- 18:10Speaker 1: than tell you the truth. They would rather stick by
- 18:13Speaker 1: bi nomics than admit that the policy isn't working and
- 18:16Speaker 1: maybe we should be doing something different.
- 18:20Speaker 2: That's how little they care about you and your family.
- 18:23Speaker 1: What we do know is the southern border has become
- 18:25Speaker 1: a real issue for the President of the United States
- 18:28Speaker 1: of America. The Texas border wide open as these sectors
- 18:34Speaker 1: of the border have been shuttered, their stations for catch
- 18:38Speaker 1: and release to take place because there's an overwhelming surge
- 18:42Speaker 1: of migrants crossing the Rio.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Grand has forced the busiest.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Border sector in Texas to close border patrol stations so
- 18:50Speaker 1: that the personnel that normally works there can be reassigned
- 18:54Speaker 1: to migrant processing and what they're referring to as transportation
- 18:59Speaker 1: duties chauffeurs for legal immigrants. According to a US Customs
- 19:04Speaker 1: and Border Protection source, the announcement came on Friday, hoping
- 19:09Speaker 1: that no one would notice, ordering managers to cease operations
- 19:13Speaker 1: at stations and Correzo Springs, Cumsock, Euvalde, and Brackettville, Texas.
- 19:20Speaker 1: The move, they say, we'll leave more than ten thousand
- 19:24Speaker 1: square miles within the sector without any border patrol presence.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Let me say that again.
- 19:30Speaker 1: This move by the Biden administration will leave more than
- 19:34Speaker 1: ten thousand square miles ten thousand square miles within those
- 19:40Speaker 1: sectors without any border patrol presence at all. In recent weeks,
- 19:46Speaker 1: Biden administration shuttered the Eagle Pass bridge, one port of
- 19:51Speaker 1: entry and the railroad bridge linking Eagle Pass to Mexico.
- 19:58Speaker 2: What do they do?
- 19:59Speaker 1: They reassign personnel to address the continuing migrant surge.
- 20:04Speaker 2: The railroad line.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Was shut to slow the flow of migrants, as that
- 20:09Speaker 1: is the primary mode of transportation for the group of migrants,
- 20:13Speaker 1: sometimes in the thousands, to reach the US border for
- 20:16Speaker 1: the interior of Mexico.
- 20:18Speaker 2: The rail bridge.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Reopened earlier Friday, signaling the flow of migrants may continued
- 20:23Speaker 1: unobated in the coming days. The announcement on Friday also
- 20:28Speaker 1: included instructions to some Border Patrol agents and their managers
- 20:34Speaker 1: that the holiday leave that was scheduled more than a
- 20:37Speaker 1: year in advance may be canceled for a few employees
- 20:39Speaker 1: that qualified. The sources said, as with previous migrant surges
- 20:45Speaker 1: in the area, the Department of Home in Security has
- 20:48Speaker 1: not put forth any solution to the massive crossings and
- 20:53Speaker 1: has left the Border Patrol to deal with the monumental
- 20:56Speaker 1: task of providing humanitarian tear thousands and thousands that are
- 21:01Speaker 1: arriving and breaking into this country illegally every single day.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Sources also said that this move to shutter operations could
- 21:12Speaker 1: not have come at a worse time, saying this, the
- 21:15Speaker 1: cartels know that we have fewer agents on patrol during
- 21:18Speaker 1: the holiday season.
- 21:20Speaker 2: We heighten our alert during these times to combat this.
- 21:24Speaker 1: With no agents on patrol inland or on the immediate border.
- 21:28Speaker 1: We are inviting them to move contraband at high volumes
- 21:34Speaker 1: and high target values at will, with no threat of
- 21:38Speaker 1: being caught, no threat of apprehension. This is the biggest
- 21:43Speaker 1: Christmas present the US has ever given to the drug cartels.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Earlier this week, we also, as I mentioned, the agency
- 21:52Speaker 1: shut down all border patrol highway inspection checkpoints for the
- 21:55Speaker 1: same reason. The checkpoints are a critical tear in the
- 22:00Speaker 1: border patrol security strategy and serve as the last line
- 22:04Speaker 1: of defense to prevent migrants and most importantly, fetnol and
- 22:08Speaker 1: other narcoctics from leaving the border region. As of Saturday morning,
- 22:14Speaker 1: the processing facility was nearly five times over capacity, holding
- 22:20Speaker 1: foury eight hundred migrants in a soft sided processing facility
- 22:24Speaker 1: designed to hold a thousand. At another temporary outdoor staging
- 22:29Speaker 1: site near the Camino Real International Bridge, there was nearly
- 22:37Speaker 1: five hundred migrants still waiting transportation, according to sources. The
- 22:42Speaker 1: source says the administration is choosing to exercise options at
- 22:45Speaker 1: further decrease border security to address the surge instead of
- 22:49Speaker 1: ending the wide scale practice of catch and release.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Quote.
- 22:54Speaker 1: It boggles the mind that we are leaving the border
- 22:58Speaker 1: wide open, not responding to migrant incursions onto private property
- 23:03Speaker 1: or stemming the flow of fetanyls, simply because we can't
- 23:07Speaker 1: effectively remove migrants who we know do not qualify for asylum.
- 23:14Speaker 1: The sources emphasized, saying this policies previously available to border patrol,
- 23:19Speaker 1: including the Remain in Mexico policy and others that stem
- 23:22Speaker 1: the abuse of asylums of the asylum system, are no
- 23:26Speaker 1: longer an option under the current administration. The impacts of
- 23:30Speaker 1: the crossings are also felt by local communities that rely
- 23:33Speaker 1: on the ports of entry for legal crossings for tourism, shopping,
- 23:38Speaker 1: and employment. The highway checkpoints serve as the last line
- 23:43Speaker 1: of defense for the border patrol to detect humans smuggling,
- 23:48Speaker 1: sex trafficking, child sex exploitation and smuggling, and other cross
- 23:54Speaker 1: border crimes such as fetnyls smuggling, which is killing more
- 24:00Speaker 1: more young people in this country than anything else. These
- 24:04Speaker 1: closed stations, they say, will also not be available to
- 24:08Speaker 1: respond to calls for assistance from local law enforcement miles
- 24:12Speaker 1: from the border. As was reported last week, the increase
- 24:16Speaker 1: in crossings has frustrated local residents as well as city
- 24:20Speaker 1: leaders who are exacerbated by the level of migrant crossings
- 24:24Speaker 1: facing the small towns of Eagle Pass, Texas.
- 24:27Speaker 2: The mayor there.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Took to social media earlier this month to express his
- 24:30Speaker 1: frustration with the surge of migrants flooding into the city,
- 24:34Speaker 1: describing the constant flow of migrants into the city as
- 24:37Speaker 1: a immigration disaster. Salinas chied a Department of Home and
- 24:43Speaker 1: Security Secretary my Orchis for visiting Euvalde, Texas, a city
- 24:47Speaker 1: sixty miles away from the border region, but failing to
- 24:50Speaker 1: visit one of the busiest migrant crossing spots in Eagle
- 24:52Speaker 1: Pass during the visit. Migrant crossings remain roughly two thousand
- 24:59Speaker 1: per day in the Del Rio sector alone. They peaked
- 25:04Speaker 1: at a new level last week, with those numbers at
- 25:07Speaker 1: more than four thousand illegal immigrants coming across in the
- 25:12Speaker 1: Del Rio sector in a twenty four hour period. Most
- 25:16Speaker 1: of the migrants being encountered at the Del Rio sector,
- 25:20Speaker 1: where four thousand people came across the border in a
- 25:22Speaker 1: twenty four hour period, are coming from Venezuela, Honduras, Colombia.
- 25:28Speaker 1: According to local sources, Most of them arrive at the
- 25:32Speaker 1: border city on freight trains and immediately crossed the Rio
- 25:38Speaker 1: Grande into the neighboring city of Eagle Pass.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Once they're there, there are problem.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Law enforcement and military authorities on both sides of the
- 25:47Speaker 1: border have remained powerless to slow the stop of the
- 25:50Speaker 1: crossings because the United States government and our president is
- 25:54Speaker 1: refusing to give them what they need to protect and
- 25:58Speaker 1: defend themselves. So to be clear, this is a process
- 26:06Speaker 1: that we're talking about right now that is avoidable. This
- 26:11Speaker 1: is a process that not only is avoidable, this is
- 26:15Speaker 1: a scenario that could be stopped with a simple change
- 26:20Speaker 1: in policy, a simple change in policy that would take
- 26:23Speaker 1: hours to begin to implement, hours nowadays hours. And we
- 26:29Speaker 1: have a president of the United States of America who
- 26:32Speaker 1: has come out and made it very clear, I'm not
- 26:35Speaker 1: changing a damn thing. I'm not doing anything differently. I'm
- 26:40Speaker 1: not doing anything to stop this. This is all being
- 26:43Speaker 1: done by design, and that's part of what you need
- 26:46Speaker 1: to understand. This is all being done by design. This
- 26:52Speaker 1: president wants there to be a flood of illegal immigrants.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Former Border patrol chief, talking about the Biden admitted administration,
- 27:02Speaker 1: had this to say on Fox Take a listen.
- 27:05Speaker 7: Former Border Patrol chief and former acting ICE Director Ron,
- 27:08Speaker 7: thank you for being here. I appreciate it. Let's start
- 27:11Speaker 7: off on this notion of this issue with the terror
- 27:13Speaker 7: watch list. We'll pull up the numbers for our viewers.
- 27:15Speaker 7: One hundred and sixty nine people that were on the
- 27:18Speaker 7: terror watch list were encountered in the fiscal year twenty
- 27:21Speaker 7: twenty three. So far in this fiscal year which started
- 27:24Speaker 7: in October, that number is thirty and those are the
- 27:26Speaker 7: people that were encountered. We don't know how many on
- 27:29Speaker 7: the terror watch lists slipped in. Let me ask you, Ron,
- 27:33Speaker 7: when you see this and then you hear about the
- 27:35Speaker 7: ten IEDs and explosive devices that were found on the border,
- 27:39Speaker 7: and then you see the video of people cutting the
- 27:41Speaker 7: border wall, it seems like they're more brazen about what
- 27:45Speaker 7: they're doing. There are more people coming in. What do
- 27:48Speaker 7: you make of the threat that this nation face is
- 27:51Speaker 7: going to twenty twenty four from the border.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Well, thanks for inviting me, Brian. You know this is good.
- 27:56Speaker 8: This is a good example of the threat that's in
- 27:57Speaker 8: the mix right, all of these people on the terror
- 27:59Speaker 8: watch list, and what we know now, given what the
- 28:02Speaker 8: conditions are at the border, is that the cartels are
- 28:04Speaker 8: in control. You could not have a better president than
- 28:07Speaker 8: Joe Biden. If you're in the Taliban, or if you're
- 28:10Speaker 8: a Mexican drug cartel, or if you're a proxy of
- 28:12Speaker 8: Iran or i Ran itself, and the threat that's in
- 28:15Speaker 8: the mix that exists every single day. The point that
- 28:18Speaker 8: you made the one hundred and seventy eight people that
- 28:20Speaker 8: were encountered by CBP who are also on the terror
- 28:23Speaker 8: watch list, but we know there's over a million people
- 28:25Speaker 8: in the last couple of years that have what the
- 28:28Speaker 8: borb tool calls known godaways, which means what which means
- 28:31Speaker 8: they saw people across the border.
- 28:32Speaker 2: And we're not able to apprehend them.
- 28:33Speaker 8: They're overwhelmed by the number of encounters that they're seeing,
- 28:36Speaker 8: and every single number is off the charts. The deaths
- 28:39Speaker 8: at the border, the criminally involved that we're catching, that
- 28:43Speaker 8: the borbetol is catching, the people who are on the
- 28:45Speaker 8: terror watch list that are being caught by the borg troll,
- 28:48Speaker 8: and the number of god aways all off the charts.
- 28:50Speaker 8: Because this president refuses to do his duty to protect
- 28:54Speaker 8: the United States, and that threat does not stay in
- 28:56Speaker 8: Eagle Pass, it does not stay in you, and that
- 28:58Speaker 8: doesn't stay in places like Lorit or where I work.
- 29:00Speaker 2: It goes all over the country.
- 29:01Speaker 8: Those people are going to find a place to live
- 29:04Speaker 8: all over the United States, coming too soon to a
- 29:06Speaker 8: neighborhood near you.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And that threat exists.
- 29:08Speaker 8: We're in a proxy war in Europe, We're in a
- 29:11Speaker 8: proxy war in the Middle East, and we're in a cold.
- 29:14Speaker 2: War with China.
- 29:15Speaker 8: You don't think that those proxy elements or the governments
- 29:18Speaker 8: are taking advantage of what's happening on the Southwest Porter,
- 29:20Speaker 8: You're kidding yourself. And this administration and the Democrats and
- 29:23Speaker 8: the Senate in the House refuse to do anything about it.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Roughly seven million migrant encounters have happened under Joe Biden,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and all of this is by design.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Don't forget.
