- 1:06Speaker 2: Love you turn? I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Got to turn the mouth turn probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 5: the mouth. The word the money up, look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out, you think that I sure will? Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You'll listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yeah I do, man, God is good.
- 2:13Speaker 6: Hey today, I just want to get right to it
- 2:16Speaker 6: because this has really been pressing me. I woke up
- 2:20Speaker 6: and this was on my mind, and I wanted to
- 2:22Speaker 6: share it with you because I know this for a fact.
- 2:26Speaker 1: See I've lived this for a fact.
- 2:31Speaker 6: And you know the majority of things I talk about
- 2:35Speaker 6: in the morning before we get started with the regular show.
- 2:40Speaker 6: It's something that I've experienced. I can only tell you
- 2:43Speaker 6: what I know, and so I've really really understood why
- 2:46Speaker 6: God has had my life go the way that is gone.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Because if I didn't have all these tests in my life,
- 2:54Speaker 6: I didn't have all these tests that I passed, all
- 2:58Speaker 6: these tests that I failed. If I didn't have all
- 3:03Speaker 6: of those, the good and the bad, What could I
- 3:07Speaker 6: share with you in the morning? What could I tell
- 3:11Speaker 6: you about hanging? What could I tell you about failing
- 3:17Speaker 6: and then winning? What could I tell you about hanging
- 3:20Speaker 6: in now when all hope was gone? How could I
- 3:24Speaker 6: share that with you? Unless I've had those moments myself.
- 3:29Speaker 6: I don't care what happens to you. I don't care
- 3:34Speaker 6: what you're going through. Don't you dare dare give up?
- 3:40Speaker 6: Under no circumstances. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 3:48Speaker 6: It is the biggest trick that the enemy has. It's
- 3:54Speaker 6: making us think we ain't gonna make it, to water
- 3:59Speaker 6: down the illusion that there is a possibility that you
- 4:05Speaker 6: might still have a chance to get over. The biggest
- 4:09Speaker 6: trick he uses is when you make a mistake and
- 4:12Speaker 6: you fall. He gets you to start to thinking it's final,
- 4:17Speaker 6: that there is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there
- 4:21Speaker 6: is no recovery. He just makes you think it's final.
- 4:25Speaker 6: He is the master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever
- 4:30Speaker 6: give up? I don't care what besets you, befalls you,
- 4:34Speaker 6: trips you up, What circumstantial situations may arise.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Don't you dare, dare ever give up?
- 4:43Speaker 6: Because listen to me, these are tests that you are
- 4:47Speaker 6: going through. And these tests, whether you pass the test
- 4:52Speaker 6: or it appears that you fail the test, the test
- 4:56Speaker 6: accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it. If you
- 5:02Speaker 6: pass the test, Let's say you're going through a situation
- 5:05Speaker 6: and you get over and it goes the way you
- 5:08Speaker 6: want it to do, then what you've learned is if
- 5:11Speaker 6: you hang in there, there's a light at the end
- 5:15Speaker 6: of the tunnel.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Okay, mission accomplished.
- 5:20Speaker 6: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 5:23Speaker 6: way you want it and it goes the opposite and
- 5:27Speaker 6: it turns out into a negative result, and the response
- 5:30Speaker 6: you were looking for is a no, that's not final.
- 5:36Speaker 6: That doesn't mean it's over. That doesn't mean it's time
- 5:40Speaker 6: to turn back. It simply means that now you have
- 5:45Speaker 6: learned a valuable experience, you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 5:51Speaker 6: You now know what not to do. You are now
- 5:56Speaker 6: because you know what not to do, another step closer
- 6:01Speaker 6: to getting it right.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 6:05Speaker 6: It has to happen this way. You have to have
- 6:09Speaker 6: the rain in your life to get the flowers in
- 6:12Speaker 6: your life. You got to have the darkness in your
- 6:16Speaker 6: life to appreciate the sunshine in your life. You got
- 6:22Speaker 6: to have woes and worries to appreciate the joys.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It is merely a test.
- 6:30Speaker 6: So when you get through failing, and you get through stumbling,
- 6:36Speaker 6: and you get through messing it up, all that's getting
- 6:41Speaker 6: you one step closer to getting it right. Oh, my
- 6:44Speaker 6: relationship ended. I'll never be able to find another person
- 6:48Speaker 6: like that. Not only will you not be able, well,
- 6:51Speaker 6: not only will you be able to find a person
- 6:53Speaker 6: like that, You can find a person that far better
- 6:58Speaker 6: than that if you don't give up. But see, sometimes
- 7:03Speaker 6: you got to go through the bad ones to get
- 7:06Speaker 6: to the good ones. Don't you, dare dare ever give up?
- 7:11Speaker 6: I don't care what happens to you if you lose
- 7:14Speaker 6: a loved one. And Lord knows, I've lost some people
- 7:17Speaker 6: I've loved dearly, with every inch in me. I've lost
- 7:24Speaker 6: my mother, my father, my brother, and my best friend.
- 7:29Speaker 6: I don't know. I know people who have lost they children. Goodness, man,
- 7:35Speaker 6: I can't even imagine that, but they kept on going.
- 7:41Speaker 1: What you giving up for? Oh?
- 7:43Speaker 6: I got you miss them, and I got you grieving.
- 7:46Speaker 6: But I got news for you. Don't you let the
- 7:49Speaker 6: devil make you think it's over for you because somebody
- 7:52Speaker 6: else ain't still here.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It was their time. Now.
- 7:55Speaker 6: I'm not trying to lessen the blow for you, but
- 7:57Speaker 6: I'm trying to get you up on your feet so
- 8:00Speaker 6: you can stop all this old woe is me because
- 8:02Speaker 6: the things that's happening to you, you're not the first
- 8:05Speaker 6: person that's happened to Come on, now, let's get a grip.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Let's wrap your mind around this thing.
- 8:10Speaker 6: You have got to move forward, if it's just in
- 8:13Speaker 6: memory of those people. I was on one of the
- 8:16Speaker 6: commercial breaks the other day and somebody asked me something,
- 8:20Speaker 6: and I forgot the question, but my answer was, I've
- 8:23Speaker 6: always wanted my mother and father to be proud of me,
- 8:27Speaker 6: and in their absence and their demise, I'm hoping just
- 8:32Speaker 6: somehow man that they watching me, that they see they boy,
- 8:37Speaker 6: that I'm down here, that I'm doing better, that I'm
- 8:40Speaker 6: making something out myself, that I'm loving my wife, that
- 8:44Speaker 6: I'm taking care of my kids. Just want my old
- 8:46Speaker 6: man to see that about me. You don't want my
- 8:49Speaker 6: mother to see I'm trying to get my life together
- 8:52Speaker 6: over here, you know, I'm saying, I'm trying to be
- 8:55Speaker 6: a better person. My mama was a Sunday school teacher
- 8:57Speaker 6: for forty years. She been praying for me for a
- 8:59Speaker 6: long long time. I just hope, man, and that's all
- 9:03Speaker 6: I'm doing, is just hoping that they see me so
- 9:06Speaker 6: they can be proud of me.
- 9:08Speaker 1: See you, you, you, you you.
- 9:10Speaker 6: You got to understand that when you make these mistakes,
- 9:15Speaker 6: that when you fall and stumble and you get it
- 9:18Speaker 6: oh so wrong, it ain't over for you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare dare ever? Give up?
- 9:24Speaker 6: Don't stop thinking, man, because it ain't happening just the
- 9:27Speaker 6: way you want it to. That it ain't meant to
- 9:29Speaker 6: be devil. He got so many tricks to deceive you.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You know why you're.
- 9:34Speaker 6: Being tested right now because there is no testimony without
- 9:39Speaker 6: the test. You got to go through something. It's all
- 9:44Speaker 6: good man telling you. Just wanted to share that with you.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Don't you give up out there. I don't care what's happening.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Don't don't, don't don't get deceived. The victory's coming, but
- 9:53Speaker 6: you ain't gonna get it if you quit.
- 9:55Speaker 7: Hang on, y'all. You're listening to the Steve Morning Shows.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have yourndivided attention for one
- 10:04Speaker 6: reason and one reason only. It is time to reflect.
- 10:08Speaker 6: To just think about it for a minute. I mean, man, really,
- 10:12Speaker 6: let me ask something. How good is God?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Man? Can you handle that?
- 10:19Speaker 6: Just give it a moment, man, really think about it?
- 10:23Speaker 6: Any good and he does something for you unexpected man.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Anyway, y'all to feel something.
- 10:30Speaker 6: Man, if you don't get connected, just get connected. You
- 10:34Speaker 6: ain't got to go to church to do it. You
- 10:35Speaker 6: could do it today. Just get connected. Just just just meditate,
- 10:39Speaker 6: talk to it. Love to hear from you. Absolutely, ladies
- 10:42Speaker 6: and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry calling for Real is back Mississippi,
- 10:47Speaker 6: Monica Junior and the legend of Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:55Speaker 1: What is going on today? Hey? Let me let me
- 10:59Speaker 1: talk you about this.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Uh.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I heard a quote. It's very interesting quote.
- 11:04Speaker 8: It says that people who truly love you push you
- 11:07Speaker 8: to be uncomfortable. People who truly love you push you
- 11:12Speaker 8: to be uncomfortable.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And if you always talk.
- 11:15Speaker 8: About being uncomfortable, you speak on that about not getting comfortable,
- 11:19Speaker 8: getting uncomfortable or so who who in your in your life,
- 11:22Speaker 8: in your space pushed you up to the point to
- 11:24Speaker 8: be uncomfortable.
- 11:26Speaker 6: Well, I mean, my wife is a constant, uh point
- 11:30Speaker 6: of pressure. She absolutely encourages me and requires me to
- 11:37Speaker 6: be the best person I can be all the time.
- 11:40Speaker 6: That's all the time now. In my life growing up
- 11:44Speaker 6: it was my father. He created discomfort. But I've always
- 11:50Speaker 6: understood stood that everything you want in life that's good
- 11:54Speaker 6: for you, or everything you're trying to aspire to, is
- 11:58Speaker 6: on the other side of uncomfortable, and you got to
- 12:02Speaker 6: go through some uncomfortable things to get through it. You know,
- 12:06Speaker 6: convenience is built through inconvenience, and that's what some people
- 12:11Speaker 6: don't want to do. They don't want that part, they
- 12:13Speaker 6: don't want the inconvenient part. But that's the only way
- 12:15Speaker 6: to build convenience. And so it is a real statement.
- 12:19Speaker 6: And uh, you know, you got to be careful around
- 12:21Speaker 6: yes men and yes people. You got people in your
- 12:24Speaker 6: circle just agreeing what you're going along with. It ain't
- 12:26Speaker 6: nobody checking you, going hey man, w bro, bro, you
- 12:29Speaker 6: can do what now? No, Bro, that ain't cool.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, but if.
- 12:33Speaker 6: You got people all the time, yeah yeah Rod rod
- 12:36Speaker 6: sis boom by a lot of people cheer you on
- 12:38Speaker 6: to watch you fail.
- 12:40Speaker 7: Oh strike, Wait a minute.
- 12:45Speaker 6: There are a lot of people man, who cheer you
- 12:49Speaker 6: on to watch you fail. You go on down there,
- 12:54Speaker 6: you go tell them that's right. You ain't got to
- 12:56Speaker 6: take that go down there. I'd go down there if
- 12:58Speaker 6: I was. You gotta be careful, man, if if somebody
- 13:01Speaker 6: don't say, hold man, let's think about this. If you
- 13:04Speaker 6: go down there, do you know that there's something Let's
- 13:08Speaker 6: look at all the scenarios.
- 13:10Speaker 1: You got to have somebody in your life, man, that
- 13:13Speaker 1: makes you go.
- 13:15Speaker 6: I thank God for Judge Greg Matthis one time I'll
- 13:18Speaker 6: swind to do something crazy and Judge Matthews said, hey, man,
- 13:22Speaker 6: you can't be big and small at the same time.
- 13:25Speaker 7: Oh I love that.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I love it, And that stopped me from doing something stupid.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Shout out to Greg Matthews.
- 13:31Speaker 2: My dear.
- 13:33Speaker 9: All right, guys coming up at thirty two minutes to

- 38:13Speaker 9: hundred and forty four thousand dollars. Trump told reporters that
- 38:17Speaker 9: he would write a check for the red Tesla, which
- 38:19Speaker 9: retails for roughly eighty thousand dollars, and leave it at
- 38:22Speaker 9: the White House so his staff can drive it. Meanwhile,
- 38:26Speaker 9: on Tuesday, over thirteen hundred employees were fired from the
- 38:31Speaker 9: Department of Education, and more funding cuts are planned for
- 38:34Speaker 9: Social Security and Medicaid. But you're buying truck, now, make
- 38:40Speaker 9: this make sense, Steve?
- 38:41Speaker 7: Please?
- 38:42Speaker 1: Well, I mean it's not it's not. Yeah, it's a conflict.
- 38:46Speaker 7: Yeah, it really is.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Come on.
- 38:49Speaker 6: Well, the Republicans are arguing that Joe Biden drove a
- 38:53Speaker 6: jeep rub Khan into the front of the White House,
- 38:58Speaker 6: whatever it was. They got pictures of that. So here's
- 39:02Speaker 6: the real thing. This man contributed two hundred and thirty
- 39:06Speaker 6: million dollars. He got to pay him back somebody. Tesla
- 39:10Speaker 6: stocks have dropped. People are being booed when they drive
- 39:14Speaker 6: by in a Tesla because of Elon Musk. And now
- 39:17Speaker 6: Donald Trump wants everybody to recognize Elon Musk as a
- 39:21Speaker 6: national treasure. He wasn't a national treasure before he gave
- 39:26Speaker 6: you the two hundred and thirty million, So how he
- 39:29Speaker 6: get to be one now?
- 39:31Speaker 1: So you can buy a national treasure.
- 39:35Speaker 6: Speaking of purchasing the idea that he has of this
- 39:39Speaker 6: gold citizenship that he's gonna come up with to offer
- 39:43Speaker 6: five million dollars to anybody who wants to become an
- 39:47Speaker 6: American citizen.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I have an idea.
- 39:51Speaker 7: Okay, what's your idea?
- 39:52Speaker 6: And what that I heard discussed and I think it's
- 39:55Speaker 6: worth bringing up. I think that he should offer people
- 40:00Speaker 6: a chance to sell their citizenship for five million.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Dollars right now.
- 40:08Speaker 6: And then my question to be to black people would
- 40:11Speaker 6: be would you take five million dollars to sell your
- 40:16Speaker 6: citizenship if that program opened up?
- 40:19Speaker 1: Yeah, and why would you? And why would you not
- 40:22Speaker 1: for five million?
- 40:24Speaker 7: That's a great that's a great concept and idea. Yeah,
- 40:26Speaker 7: I think I would say yes.
- 40:28Speaker 6: Look, they don't want us over here anyway.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Bruh.
- 40:32Speaker 6: You could take your five million and you can go
- 40:35Speaker 6: to Jamaica. You can go to the Dominican you can
- 40:37Speaker 6: go to Bahamas. You could take your five million and
- 40:41Speaker 6: go to Africa. If you take five million to Africa,
- 40:45Speaker 6: to South Africa, it's sixteen to one.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Okay, all right, coming up and thirty four minutes after
- 40:53Speaker 1: see I'm on to Canada though that he didn't mess
- 40:56Speaker 1: that all those terriff.
- 40:59Speaker 9: We'll find out about fishing and some of your outdoor
- 41:02Speaker 9: mishaps right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 41:09Speaker 9: So the weather is getting nice springs upon us in
- 41:13Speaker 9: just a couple of weeks, and it's starting to get
- 41:16Speaker 9: real nice out the sun is getting later. It's that
- 41:19Speaker 9: time of year when people start enjoying the outdoors.
- 41:22Speaker 1: All right.
- 41:23Speaker 7: So here's the question.
- 41:25Speaker 9: If you guys have ever had a day outdoors that
- 41:28Speaker 9: went totally, totally wrong.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Okay, maybe you got loss. You had an animal chase.
- 41:33Speaker 9: You you know, when you're out fishing or doing whatever you
- 41:35Speaker 9: do outside. What is one of your best outdoor or
- 41:39Speaker 9: your worst outdoor disaster stories?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Junior? Starting with you, but Nam boy scouts and my
- 41:47Speaker 1: father was a troop leader.
- 41:48Speaker 8: The worst troop leader ever is boy scout not Delburt
- 41:53Speaker 8: tried to have a black ben out in these woods
- 41:55Speaker 8: with four black Keiths and the all the rest of
- 41:57Speaker 8: the troop in white. We didn't have no badges of
- 42:00Speaker 8: time we left that damn cat. We didn't get a
- 42:02Speaker 8: that tying badge. We didn't get a Scouts on the back.
- 42:05Speaker 8: We didn't get not a We didn't even build a tent.
- 42:08Speaker 1: We slept in the truck. That It was worse.
- 42:12Speaker 8: DEVI believed know what the hell he was doing. Were
- 42:14Speaker 8: gonna compete, But we won the race.
- 42:16Speaker 1: That's all we want. We got one badge out of
- 42:19Speaker 1: four day's damn that day, y'all slept in the truck.
- 42:24Speaker 2: We slept.
- 42:25Speaker 8: We didn't even build a tent. We didn't get that badge.
- 42:27Speaker 8: We couldn't put the tin up.
- 42:29Speaker 1: God, he just turned the truck on it.
- 42:31Speaker 8: We slept in there upright, upright, upright.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Family, my friends hated my father. We lost. Troop nine
- 42:47Speaker 1: eighty nine lost.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Tell me.
- 42:54Speaker 10: I went, I went, this is the worst I think.
- 42:56Speaker 10: I went fishing with my mother and my grandmother Lake
- 43:00Speaker 10: Livingston in Texas, and.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I lost the keys to the car.
- 43:07Speaker 10: And in Lake Livingston they got a section that's that
- 43:10Speaker 10: is quick saying, yeah, quick saying, And I swear I
- 43:14Speaker 10: was like, I think I think them keys is in
- 43:16Speaker 10: the quick saying, that's why I think it is. And
- 43:21Speaker 10: you know, now I'm over there around and sticking, sticking
- 43:23Speaker 10: and stick in it, trying to get it, trying to
- 43:25Speaker 10: see it. I see it, and man, my daddy, short,
- 43:29Speaker 10: hell is your doing over here?
- 43:30Speaker 1: By the quick sack? What's your over here?
- 43:31Speaker 9: For?
- 43:33Speaker 1: Where's your over here? I said, I think that. He said,
- 43:36Speaker 1: the keys is in there in your ass and being
- 43:37Speaker 1: there with the keys? What is wrong with you? Wow?
- 43:45Speaker 1: You guys, it's long s short.
- 43:48Speaker 10: The keys was hanging in the back of the trunk
- 43:50Speaker 10: in the in the keyhole.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Oh wowow.
- 43:56Speaker 10: I was of searching for the keys man thing looking
- 44:02Speaker 10: for it.
- 44:06Speaker 6: I never I never liked hunting, but I used to
- 44:09Speaker 6: go hunting with my grandfather and my uncle. My dad
- 44:12Speaker 6: wasn't a hunter, so I was my grandfather and my uncle,
- 44:14Speaker 6: my sister, my mama's brother, uncle Donald, and we'out hunting,
- 44:19Speaker 6: and uh, my uncle Rogers came with us. The uncle
- 44:23Speaker 6: my father don't like my father sister's husband. He never
- 44:27Speaker 6: liked him. He just thought he was worthless.
- 44:30Speaker 1: And he was.
- 44:31Speaker 6: And uh, anyway, I knew that as a boy at ten,
- 44:36Speaker 6: I knew this uncle right here.
- 44:39Speaker 1: And so we had these buck shots.
- 44:43Speaker 6: And so my uncle Roger, we was walking and they
- 44:46Speaker 6: had told him how to carry his rifle. But somehow
- 44:49Speaker 6: something happened. I don't because he was behind me, so
- 44:52Speaker 6: I don't really know how it happened. But his shotgun
- 44:55Speaker 6: went off, but it shot straight up. But now now
- 45:00Speaker 6: we sitting there, we don't know immediately what the problem is.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Okay, but the buck shot hit a hornet's nest. So
- 45:11Speaker 1: for a.
- 45:11Speaker 6: Minute you didn't know what it was. Everybody was just Roger,
- 45:14Speaker 6: what did you do? What is your gun going off?
- 45:16Speaker 6: And then all of a sudden you heard this hum

- 56:21Speaker 1: and be guide it for you. Here it is Strawberry
- 56:23Speaker 1: lot up.
- 56:24Speaker 9: Thank you, neph you subject. I give her advice because
- 56:28Speaker 9: I love her. Okay, Dear Stephen Shirley, My wife and
- 56:32Speaker 9: I started our better health journey in December and she's
- 56:35Speaker 9: already lost thirteen pounds. I only lost two pounds, but
- 56:39Speaker 9: I drink protein shakes and I lift weight, so I'm
- 56:42Speaker 9: happy with how I look. I'm even happier about how
- 56:45Speaker 9: good my wife looks. She's had to buy new dresses, jeans,
- 56:49Speaker 9: and even new shoes because she is smaller everywhere. She
- 56:52Speaker 9: ordered a lot of new clothes over the past few months,
- 56:55Speaker 9: and I didn't bother to ask to see any of
- 56:58Speaker 9: her new things. For Valentine's she put on a new
- 57:01Speaker 9: dress and it was cut low in the front. She
- 57:04Speaker 9: has big boobs and they were front and center, so
- 57:07Speaker 9: I asked if she had another option. She said she
- 57:10Speaker 9: was going to wear it because she ordered it just
- 57:13Speaker 9: for me for Valentine's Day. At dinner, all I could
- 57:16Speaker 9: see was her chest. I told her later that I
- 57:19Speaker 9: never want to see that dress again. I slept on
- 57:22Speaker 9: the couch that night. The next day, I explained to
- 57:25Speaker 9: her that I only gave my opinion because I love her.
- 57:29Speaker 9: She cursed me out and said she doesn't care what
- 57:32Speaker 9: I like or don't like. I'm her husband, and if
- 57:35Speaker 9: I don't like something, I have the right to tell her.
- 57:37Speaker 9: Her choice of clothing is still bothering me, and we
- 57:41Speaker 9: keep arguing whenever she tries to go out in one
- 57:44Speaker 9: of her tight, distasteful outfits. Her body is really nice
- 57:48Speaker 9: and you can see it in any outfit she wears,
- 57:50Speaker 9: so I'm not sure why she's trying to draw attention
- 57:54Speaker 9: to herself like that. She got frustrated with me recently
- 57:57Speaker 9: and said, if I don't stop judging her, she will
- 58:00Speaker 9: find a man that can appreciate her style. She lost
- 58:03Speaker 9: weight and her respect for me, because who says that
- 58:06Speaker 9: to their husband? Why can't she see that I give
- 58:09Speaker 9: her my advice only because I love her? How can
- 58:13Speaker 9: I get through? How can I get through to my
- 58:16Speaker 9: lovely wife? Wow, you're gonna have to find a different
- 58:20Speaker 9: way to do it, sir. This is not working for you.
- 58:24Speaker 9: Sometimes it's not what you say, it's how you say it,
- 58:27Speaker 9: or just the fact that you opened your mouth to
- 58:29Speaker 9: say anything at all. No one asked your opinion, no one.
- 58:32Speaker 9: Your wife is feeling herself right now. She worked hard
- 58:35Speaker 9: to lose the weight, and she's loving the results, and
- 58:38Speaker 9: she's doing her She's not trying to hear anything you
- 58:42Speaker 9: got to say anything, especially if it's criticism. You're not
- 58:45Speaker 9: wrong in wanting her to be more modest than what
- 58:48Speaker 9: she wears. I mean no husband really wants his wife
- 58:51Speaker 9: out there with her boobs all out for other men,
- 58:54Speaker 9: you know.
- 58:54Speaker 7: To check out.
- 58:55Speaker 9: I get that part, but you got to relax a
- 58:58Speaker 9: little and let her have a little fun. She said,
- 59:01Speaker 9: she bought the new red dress for you for Valentine's Day.
- 59:04Speaker 9: You didn't even compliment her. You could have said, thank you, baby,
- 59:07Speaker 9: you look good or something. All you're showing her is disappointment, dissatisfaction.
- 59:12Speaker 9: You got to see that she, you know, making your
- 59:16Speaker 9: wife angry and all of this. She's hurt by this,
- 59:18Speaker 9: and she's told you to stop judging her. I don't
- 59:21Speaker 9: know what you're going to do to fix this, sir,
- 59:23Speaker 9: but this is definitely, like I said, not working, Steve.
- 59:27Speaker 6: Let me just say this to you, though, you are
- 59:30Speaker 6: going about this the entirely wrong way. You are using,
- 59:36Speaker 6: for lack of better words, the wrong tactics.
- 59:40Speaker 1: Bruh.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Listen to me trying to understand where you're coming from
- 59:47Speaker 6: while I read this letter. I will also read this
- 59:49Speaker 6: letter to help you understand where she is coming from.
- 59:54Speaker 6: And I can show you where this derailed for you.
- 59:57Speaker 6: I can show you exactly where y'all started your little
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: health journey. She's lost thirteen pounds. You lost twenty one.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Thirteen pounds is a lot of weight, man, twenty one.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Is a lot.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: But I drink protein shakes, I lift weight, so I'm
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: happy how I look. Some pounds don't. It should be
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: measured on how you look. Don't worry about the pounds,
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: because muscle is heavier than fat. So you losing twenty
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: one pounds, but if you shared the fat, you of course.
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: You are to be He lost two, she lost thirteen?
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: Oh I thought, I said twenty one. Oh that's two pounds.
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: Two pounds? Yeah, oh I only lost two?
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Really well this changed my answer?
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: Oh you hating?
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Oh this change is the answer I see. Oh, pimp,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I only lost two.
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: But I drink protein shakes and lift weight, so you
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: ain't changed, though, he fat boy you, I got nude
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: for you. Your fat ass ain't really changed that much.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: And that's the damn problem. Now you said that, you're
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: trying to convince yourself you happy the way you look
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: over two pounds.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: You can't even see two pounds, so now you all
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I see?
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: Right now, I'm even happier about how my good wife looks.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: She's had to buy new dresses and jeans and.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: Even new shoes because she's smaller everywhere, everywhere. Man, she
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: ordered a lot of new clothes over the past few months,
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: and I didn't bother to ask to see.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Any of her things.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: Okay, here we go. Here's the beginning of the problem.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: You didn't ask to see any of them because I'm
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: assuming you think when she buy new stuff, she ought
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: to show it to you so she could get your approval.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: That's the beginning of what's happening here. For Valentine's Day,
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: she put on a new dress and it was low
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: cut in front. She got big boobs and they were
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: front and center. So I asked her, did she have
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: another option? It's Valentine's Day. Dog, she put that dress on.
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: She says she was going to wear it because she
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: ordered it just for you for Valentine's Day. Now, if
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: your wife out on her own with that, But when
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: she put it on for her, man and y'all go
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: out together, she did it for you. Though at dinner
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: all I could see was her chest. That's why she
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: put it on, right, And how stupid can you be? Now,
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: let me tell you what you're really doing. A part
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: of this is, you know what I'll save it. Yeah,
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: I got news for you.
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: Dog.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: You're wrong on this one, Brood. I'm gonna show you why.
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: All right, we'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:02:39Speaker 9: up Steve at twenty three minutes after the hour today
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: Strawberry letters, subject I give her advice because I love her.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: Morning show at the hun Day Getaway Sales event. Get
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: deals so right, it almost feels wrong. Now's the best
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: time to get the Hyundai car or suv you've always wanted. Plus,
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: every new Hyndai comes with America's best warranty and three
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: years or thirty six thousand miles of limited complimentary maintenance.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Don't think you can get away with all of that?
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Think again, But don't wait.
- 1:03:17Speaker 10: The Hondai Getaway Sales event is going on now, so
- 1:03:20Speaker 10: visit your local Hondai dealer today.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: It's a great day for a new Hondai.
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: The subject is I give her advice because I love her.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: Well, you know, him and his wife started on the
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: health journey in December. The wife had lost thirteen pounds.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: He'd have lost two His explanation is, but I drank
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: protein shakes and this way, so I'm having the where
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: I look. Boy, let me tell you something. You can't
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: see two pounds. I'm just tell you that right now,
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: I've been on a bunch of health journey. Two pounds. Yeah,
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: and don't show up though. Now you might be lifting
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: some weights and adding some more. So you're just a bigger,
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: fatter version of what you are. So I'm just gonna
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: and there's some hate on her here. So I'm happy
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: to wear how I look, But you really happy to
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: wear your wife looked? She didne have had to buy
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: new clothes and everything. She ordered some clothes over the
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: past few months, and you didn't ask to see any
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: of her options. I'm beginning to think with that statement
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: was what that means is you didn't get a chance
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: to give your approval, but she didn't ask you for nothing.
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: Then Valentine's Day come along. She buys this hot dress
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: for you, puts it on and it's low cut in
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: the front. She got but boobs. All you could see
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: was her chest. You asked her if she have any
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: other options? She said no, I ordered this for Valentine's
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: especially for you.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: Y'all.
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: Go to dinner, You sitting there and you say at dinner,
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: all I could see was her chest. I told her, lady,
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: that's why she wore it, dum, it was for you.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: I told her, La, I never want to see that
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: dress again.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Way my hold of the man. What are you talking
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: to see? I never want to see that dress again. Brouh.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: This is your wife, This ain't your child. And what
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: you're doing is you're not allowing her to celebrate her
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: hard work. That's a big problem here, though. You have
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: an idea in your head and she got one in
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: her head. But you're going right now. You slept on
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: the couch at night.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: See. Yeah.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: The next day I explained to her, I only gave
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: her my opinion because I love her, okay, But she
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: love her too, That's why she went on to help
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: Jake Yash. She love herself too. She cursed me out
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: and said she don't care what I like or don't like.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: And see, brother, the reason you got cussed out about
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: that is because you done wrote this letter.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: This ain't the first turn.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: This has been a whole lot of you wanting what
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: you want say and what you want because you're a
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: little controlling ass do and that's what then happened. Now
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: she tied of your ass, and she done told you
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: I don't care what you like or don't like. I'm
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: her husband, and if I don't like something, I have
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: the right to tell her. Well not really, dog, not really.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: You have the right to think it. It ain't always
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: good to say it. You know, my girl can put
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: on something I don't care for it, not risk or
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: nothing like that. Just maybe I don't like to dress.
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: Then it ain't time to say that though, Shut you
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: damn mouth. So you feel like if I don't like something,
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: I got the right to tell her, and she got
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: the right to feel what she want to feel too.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Her choice of clothing is still bothering me, and we
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: keep arguing whenever she tries to go out in one
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: of her tight distaste for outfits.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Hold up, dog, this is your wife.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: This ain't your child. Now you talking to her like
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: you own her and control her, and she not having it?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Then here you go.
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: Her body is really nice and you can see it
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: in any outfit she wear, So I'm not sure why
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: she's trying to draw attention to herself like that. Dog,
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: because she got it like that. There are a lot
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: of women that don't have to draw attention. If a
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: woman wear fitted clothes, it's not for attention, it's fitted.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: She got a nice body. Are you insecure? Dog? Two pounds?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Two pounds? Are you jealous? Thought?
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: It's something slipping away? I can tell there's a smoke
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: in your eyes from a distant five.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: That's a song.
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: She got frustrated on me recently and said, if I
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: don't stop judging her, See, this ain't the first time.
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: This ain't just these clothes. You've been judging this woman
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: for years about everything. You didn't like her when she
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: was heavier. You probably said that too. That's why she
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: went and got on the health journey. Now she done
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: got fired. Now you got a problem with the fine
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: version two. I promise you y'all got on that health
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: journey because y'all was sitting up talking about and you
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: was complaining about how she looked in She told you
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: you don't stop judging her, she'll find a man that
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: can appreciate her style.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Uh oh woo.
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: Now that ain't come out of nowhere, dog, That come
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: from years of build up. She's lost weight and her
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: respect for me, because who says that to their husband?
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: A frustrated, fed a sick of your ass wife, That's
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: who say that, A fed up, through with you, tied
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: of your judgment, sick, fed up as white.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Why can't she see that?
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: I give her my advice only because I love her,
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: bro but you can't talk to her that came. How
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: can I get through to my lovely wife? This ain't
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: gonna be your wife, long dog, unless you make some changes.
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: That's right, quick judging her. Let her live her life
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: and let her work and show her hard work and
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: celebrate it.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: And you are to celebrate it too, because you're lucky.
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: She with you fat A post your comments Onday Strawberry

- 1:10:24Speaker 1: All right? Surey?
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: First off, man Tiger Woods had to have surgery on
- 1:10:27Speaker 8: his achilles tendon. Man, he will not be at the
- 1:10:29Speaker 8: Masses this year. We don't know when Tiger's going to
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: hold up the season, maybe not playing a major this year.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: But he did have a.
- 1:10:37Speaker 8: Less intrusive procedure done the other day, and he's gonna
- 1:10:40Speaker 8: be out for a while, gonna take a month in
- 1:10:41Speaker 8: and put weight on it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: So Tiger Woods not he's out for the Masters.
- 1:10:45Speaker 8: But also Prayerview is out of the Swag tournament already,
- 1:10:49Speaker 8: and we're not going to NCAA tournament already.

- 1:11:12Speaker 8: We're not gonna see him now.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Ain't going to the super Bowl either.

- 1:11:33Speaker 17: You know what?
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: We yeah, we say, you know it's a whole lot

- 1:13:51Speaker 9: me bruh, homie or dog, and her mom refers to
- 1:13:55Speaker 9: me as darling or handsome. Maybe they're just trying to
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: be casual or cool or whatever, but I can't think
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: of one time when they've used my actual name. I
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: asked my girlfriend about it, and she just laughed. But
- 1:14:08Speaker 9: it's really starting to get on my nerves. How do

- 1:16:45Speaker 9: last few years she's changed. She's she's not mean to
- 1:16:49Speaker 9: me exactly, but she's become really harsh about the world.
- 1:16:52Speaker 9: She has no sympathy for people who are struggling and
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: believe that everyone gets what they deserve. She says she
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: does well because she works hard than anyone who's suffering.
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: Must have made bad choices. I've tried to tell her
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: about it, but she just shrugs.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: It up.
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: Should I stop being friends with her?

- 1:18:33Speaker 9: who told the dispatcher quote his mom was being bad
- 1:18:37Speaker 9: and needed to go to jail right before hanging up.
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: Two female officers went.
- 1:18:42Speaker 9: They were sent to the boy's home, where he snitched
- 1:18:44Speaker 9: and told them that his mother ate his ice cream
- 1:18:46Speaker 9: and needed to go to jail for it. But moments
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: later he changed his mind and said he didn't want
- 1:18:52Speaker 9: his mom to go to jail, but he really wanted
- 1:18:55Speaker 9: ice cream. So the officers left without filing a report

- 1:26:03Speaker 7: Cigarettes? I can't do onion?
- 1:26:10Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:26:12Speaker 7: Cigarettes cigarette?
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: Yeah, some cigarettes in your clothes. We can change clothes.
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: You can't bring your moneys over here every day.
- 1:26:20Speaker 10: Boy, I ain't nothing like some salt onion. Boys, she
- 1:26:22Speaker 10: smelled like some saltat that's good.
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: Yeah, why they red onions or white onion, shirttallia onions or.
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: Scallions?
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: What are we talking here? I never knew what a
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: scallion would I just knew it.
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: Was Okay, Yeah, that's about it. That's about it. Uh,
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: that's it. As far as would you rather go, Steve.
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: Well, you know what we were talking earlier about friendship.
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: You know, it's I really appreciate some of the true
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: friends that I have. True friendship is really hard to find.
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: And the older you get, the smaller the group becomes
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: because you understand and eventually, as you get up in
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: this age, you start to losing people. I want to
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: say that I lost the guy that I considered a
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: friend recently out of Louisville, Kentucky, Junior Bridgeman. Junior Bridgeman passed.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Away man and I that hit me so hard.
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: The other day on the set because I was going
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: out to do the last show and his guy, Charles
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: had texted me earlier said call me nine one one,
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: his right hand man, Charles Alexander. But I was on
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: the set, so I didn't respond. And then I texted
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: him and I said, I saw an article that Junior
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: passed out and then his next text was I didn't
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: get it because he texted I was on set, and
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: I went down to the set and then my assistant
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: came up and said, heyman, Junior Bridgeman died today. And
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: it broke my heart and we had to hold off
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: on show because I had to go outside and get
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: myself together. Man Junior Bridgeman out of Louisville, Kentucky, used
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: to play for the Milwaukee Bucks. Was one of the
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: greatest men I've ever met in terms of being a Christian,
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: in terms of being a husband, in terms of being
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: a father, and then he happened to be a great businessman.
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: But I had never seen that combination in a man before.
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: Hardly ever, there's usually something flawed in a person. And
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: I'm not saying he was perfect, but Junior Bridgeman out

- 1:29:35Speaker 6: Bridgeman was one of the kindest, finest men I've ever
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: met in all my dealings of business. In all of it,
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: I never met a single soul that was better at
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: all those things than Junior Bridgeman in Louisville, Kentucky. And

- 1:30:14Speaker 6: there in the top three.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: And I'd have met some good people, but Junior Bridgeman
