- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and it's tough, not good to mother pa.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me. You gotta turn you you,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn out the turn, turn water to the water. Go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing. Uh huh. I show will good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey Man got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Real glad about it too, you know. Um.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I hope that God always keeps me in the frame
- 2:20Speaker 1: of frame of mind to try to be sharing and
- 2:25Speaker 1: try to be motivational, and even when it's not felt
- 2:30Speaker 1: or wanted by some people. I have people around me
- 2:35Speaker 1: who seem to not benefited off anything, and I can
- 2:38Speaker 1: sit with them and talk to them or take meetings
- 2:41Speaker 1: with them to try to encourage them, and for whatever reason,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know, they want to just keep going the way
- 2:46Speaker 1: they're going. When you run into people like that, you
- 2:49Speaker 1: have to pray for them. You have to just hope
- 2:51Speaker 1: that one day that they release the chains on their
- 2:55Speaker 1: mind and open up your mind to a new way
- 2:57Speaker 1: of thinking. A couple of things I wanted to go
- 2:59Speaker 1: over that I want you to all today in terms
- 3:02Speaker 1: of motivation. I want you to be aware of statements
- 3:08Speaker 1: or old sayings that have been created that you hear
- 3:12Speaker 1: over the course of time, and you may be applying
- 3:16Speaker 1: them to your life, and I want you to be
- 3:18Speaker 1: careful of some of them because some of these old sayings, man,
- 3:23Speaker 1: are not designed for people who are dreamers, are not
- 3:29Speaker 1: designed for people who have any aspirations of being extraordinary.
- 3:34Speaker 1: These are not designs or sayings that people who want
- 3:39Speaker 1: to be extremely successful at anything or have high aspirations
- 3:44Speaker 1: to put these sayings into your life. Let me give
- 3:48Speaker 1: you an example. Statistics say that's it. That's the one
- 3:55Speaker 1: who want you to be careful about statistics, say, be
- 4:01Speaker 1: very careful of stats. When a person says, you know, statistics,
- 4:07Speaker 1: say one out of every what see, listen to me.
- 4:11Speaker 1: These are things that sound like they're good, sound solid advice,
- 4:16Speaker 1: but they're setting you up for failure. And you can't
- 4:20Speaker 1: adhere yourself to a lot of these sayings that's been
- 4:24Speaker 1: passed down from generations, and it's not scripture. It ain't
- 4:29Speaker 1: in the scripture nowhere that statistics say, it's just some people,
- 4:34Speaker 1: and a lot of people who have lost have come
- 4:38Speaker 1: up with these sayings to justify why they keep losing
- 4:42Speaker 1: or why they lost. When I was arst got started
- 4:46Speaker 1: in the business, there were more stand ups around now
- 4:50Speaker 1: than it is today because the comedy boom in eighty
- 4:54Speaker 1: four eighty five was it was gaining a lot of momentums,
- 4:59Speaker 1: comedy clubs, comedy nights everywhere. The statistic that a guy
- 5:04Speaker 1: told me I told him I wanted to be on
- 5:08Speaker 1: the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show. The guy said,
- 5:14Speaker 1: one out of every two thousand comedians ever make it
- 5:20Speaker 1: to the Tonight Show. Okay, Now, when he told us that,
- 5:27Speaker 1: some of the comedians in the room went, well, wow, man,
- 5:31Speaker 1: oh that's rough. Because a guy had also said that
- 5:35Speaker 1: there was approximately six thousand comedians in the country at
- 5:40Speaker 1: that time. I don't know if it was true. I'm
- 5:42Speaker 1: just telling you guy was out the sputing numbers. I
- 5:45Speaker 1: have no idea how many it was, but he said
- 5:48Speaker 1: one in every two thousand will make it to the
- 5:50Speaker 1: Tonight Show. And he let the air out of everybody
- 5:53Speaker 1: in the room. Button be so every night before I
- 5:57Speaker 1: went on stage, I used to do this right here.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Bampada bada la la la da, Bada Pampa bada la
- 6:07Speaker 1: la la da. That was the tonight theme song. I
- 6:11Speaker 1: was young, opening act know where near Hollywood, didn't. I
- 6:14Speaker 1: was in Cleveland telling jokes at one night us. But
- 6:17Speaker 1: that was my thing because I was bent and determined
- 6:21Speaker 1: that if it's one in two thousand, okay, why don't
- 6:24Speaker 1: I just be the one? Be careful when people say
- 6:28Speaker 1: statistics say because they are set up to ful failure.
- 6:32Speaker 1: If you're gonna adhere to him, see that one in
- 6:34Speaker 1: so many it wasn't so many people win the lottery.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But if you don't play the lottery, you ain't gonna
- 6:38Speaker 1: be the one to hit. Now when the dude hit
- 6:40Speaker 1: you go while he was lucky, but he played. Here's
- 6:43Speaker 1: another one. Maybe it's not meant to be. All right,
- 6:48Speaker 1: let's go one step further. I guess it wasn't the
- 6:51Speaker 1: Lord's will. Don't you dare blame God for something you
- 6:57Speaker 1: may have not done yourself because you didn't get the
- 7:01Speaker 1: proper education, because you didn't do the things you were
- 7:04Speaker 1: supposed to do, because you didn't stay to the task,
- 7:08Speaker 1: because you quit turned around and went the other way. Now,
- 7:12Speaker 1: maybe it's not. It wasn't the Lord's will. These are
- 7:15Speaker 1: all statements that sound like sound advice, but they ain't
- 7:21Speaker 1: all the time, got nothing to do with you. Stop
- 7:24Speaker 1: letting these old fogy sayings get in your way of
- 7:29Speaker 1: what can happen in your life. Don't put all your
- 7:33Speaker 1: eggs in one basket? Wow? Who came up with this?
- 7:39Speaker 1: Who came up with the If you don't pour all
- 7:42Speaker 1: your efforts into one thing, how are you gonna be
- 7:45Speaker 1: great at that one thing? If Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Magic Johnson, Larry Bird had not played basketball sun up
- 7:55Speaker 1: to sundown. Magic Johnson didn't go to ug Michigan to
- 7:59Speaker 1: get an edge ucation. Lad Burry didn't go to Indiana
- 8:03Speaker 1: to get an education. These casts was bawling. Michael Jordan
- 8:07Speaker 1: didn't go to North Carolina get an education. They went
- 8:11Speaker 1: to play ball. They went to do one thing. Tiger
- 8:14Speaker 1: Woods didn't go to Stanford to get an education. He
- 8:18Speaker 1: went to play golf. As soon as he got good enough,
- 8:21Speaker 1: he'd gone. These are guys that put all their eggs
- 8:25Speaker 1: in one basket. See what's cool with putting all your
- 8:29Speaker 1: eggs in one basket? Is you now can maximize your
- 8:32Speaker 1: effort and laser beam what you're doing. Your problem is
- 8:37Speaker 1: all you gotta do is make sure what is your
- 8:40Speaker 1: basket made out of. If your basket is made out
- 8:44Speaker 1: of faith, hope, hard work, and belief, then guess what,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that's a good basket. I'm dumping all mine in it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Because ever since I was a young dude, I've been
- 8:55Speaker 1: telling jokes. One thing, one thing only. Even when he
- 8:59Speaker 1: got ugly and I was living in a car, I
- 9:01Speaker 1: never quit telling them jokes. Man. I just kept believing
- 9:04Speaker 1: that them jokes was gonna pay me one day, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'll be dog gone if it didn't. I ain't take
- 9:09Speaker 1: no time off. Go work at to Walmart, give me
- 9:12Speaker 1: a job, go back to forward and big for my
- 9:14Speaker 1: job back. Hey man, put all your eggs in a basket.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Just make sure that your basket is made up of faith, hope, belief,
- 9:22Speaker 1: hard work. Your basket woven by God. What you're tripping for,
- 9:29Speaker 1: You're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 9:36Speaker 1: got to believe that God could do what he say
- 9:38Speaker 1: gonna do because he didn't done it for others. He'll
- 9:41Speaker 1: most certainly do it for you. Be careful of these
- 9:44Speaker 1: sayings that's out here that's aligned by losers and people
- 9:48Speaker 1: to justify why they are not succeeded. Don't apply this
- 9:51Speaker 1: stuff to your life, and it ain't got nothing to
- 9:53Speaker 1: do with you. You're gonna mess yourself up, all right, Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening Morning show ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls. Rabbit hunters,
- 10:09Speaker 1: squirrel chasers, bird feeders, giraffe watching, zoo attendees, Disney lifetime
- 10:18Speaker 1: membership people, reporters, influence of of any kind, sick people here,
- 10:28Speaker 1: shack reverybody teachers, yay, waste management control, Trump, drivers, oper,
- 10:40Speaker 1: whoever you are to need some uplift this morning, we
- 10:43Speaker 1: are here for you. We are here for you. And
- 10:46Speaker 1: now for those of you that are over eighty years old,
- 10:50Speaker 1: here's a little something for you. Climbing up all the
- 10:59Speaker 1: rough side, oh the mountain, hevery day. I'm claming up, really, Lord,
- 11:15Speaker 1: that's a little something for everybody this morning. Welcome to
- 11:18Speaker 1: the Steve Arpin mornin shore. Everybody, get your attitude together,
- 11:21Speaker 1: get your gratitude together, get your altitude together. But it
- 11:24Speaker 1: starts with gratitude that affects your attitude that has direct
- 11:28Speaker 1: correlation with your altitude. That's what we're doing. This show
- 11:31Speaker 1: stars some very capable people. Cherley Strawberry calling for real
- 11:35Speaker 1: Mouth of the South, Mississippi, Monica kill Space. They call
- 11:38Speaker 1: him Junior and the legend that his nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:42Speaker 1: What today? Pray tale? Yes, let me ask you to sing?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Could it be? Now? You know? Do you get you
- 11:49Speaker 1: give yourself? You be hard on yourself? Do you give
- 11:52Speaker 1: yourself enough credit? I know a lot of people. Yeah,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you know, that's the thing I'm thinking about because I
- 11:56Speaker 1: thought about where I'm at today and my birthday come up,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and do I give myself enough credit for what we
- 12:03Speaker 1: what I've done? I think I should be doing something more. Well.
- 12:07Speaker 1: The problem with us is we are always in chase
- 12:11Speaker 1: mode and we're not enough in gratitude mode. And I'm
- 12:16Speaker 1: guilty of the same thing because I'm extremely hard on myself,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and people around me have to tell me all the time,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you tripping, you need to slow down, you need you
- 12:26Speaker 1: need to enjoy your life a little bit more because
- 12:29Speaker 1: of the work you've put in and you've done. But
- 12:32Speaker 1: that comes from not enough gratitude. And I'm very guilty
- 12:37Speaker 1: of this myself June, because see, we're so busy in
- 12:40Speaker 1: the chase game that we failed to realize how much
- 12:45Speaker 1: we didn't caught. See, you've been chasing, but you also
- 12:48Speaker 1: been catching. And when you fail to realize how much
- 12:51Speaker 1: you've caught, your focus is on the chase, and then
- 12:54Speaker 1: you lose the gratitude of what you've caught. So you
- 12:57Speaker 1: as your birthday approaches and you realize that I'm not
- 13:01Speaker 1: where I want to be. But can you not also
- 13:04Speaker 1: realize that you ain't where you was church saying well,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you need to go somewhere and sit down, man,
- 13:17Speaker 1: shut up more, because I all you gotta do is
- 13:21Speaker 1: think back when it wasn't going this well? All right,
- 13:25Speaker 1: all right, More gratitude affects your attitude? What is the
- 13:31Speaker 1: re correlation with your altitude? We'll see y'all come back
- 13:34Speaker 1: with more to Steve Harp, more to Shaw rafted I got, Shelly,
- 13:37Speaker 1: don't even worry about it. Come that next brank phone call.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Oh god, you're listening Steve Morning Show. It is time
- 13:46Speaker 1: now for the nephew to run that prank back what
- 13:48Speaker 1: you got for us, nap, We're dealing with too much
- 13:51Speaker 1: chicken y'all. Ye you must chicken you you you people
- 13:57Speaker 1: need to back up on this chicken. This is too

- 14:52Speaker 1: done we've we've done a test study and we realized, sir,
- 14:56Speaker 1: the black people are the ones that are eating too
- 14:58Speaker 1: much chicken. And what we want to do is try
- 15:00Speaker 1: to cut back because right now there's the Chinese, and
- 15:03Speaker 1: ask them they eat all tamber chicken, chicken food, young,
- 15:06Speaker 1: all this Hia chicken and white tu eat chicken, calligate

- 15:18Speaker 1: We're no white folks. I bet you don't go to them,
- 15:20Speaker 1: y'all out of them. Well, so we're gonna we're gonna
- 15:23Speaker 1: get to that. We're starting in the black community. You
- 15:25Speaker 1: black people are the ones that seemed to buy the
- 15:27Speaker 1: most chicken. Man, no chicken. Guess what, how don't we
- 15:31Speaker 1: eat chicken? And if I did, he's some chicken because
- 15:35Speaker 1: he man, we go. Are you begin something cute? Hey, Hindu,
- 15:41Speaker 1: y'all got my number in it? Yeah? Well you get sir.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Actually we're getting numbers from the supermarket. Uh, and we're
- 15:47Speaker 1: getting a listing of people who buy the most super
- 15:49Speaker 1: Can you get come in in supermarket? Sure? The main
- 15:53Speaker 1: thing we're trying to get you to do is cut
- 15:55Speaker 1: back on eating chicken. Now, I don't eat no chicken.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna going
- 16:01Speaker 1: eat chicken and donna call him about eating too much.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I don't even call my phone, So you got that? Hello? Hello,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach callaway? Is this callaway? Yeah? Who
- 16:17Speaker 1: is this? How you doing? My name is Remy? I'm
- 16:19Speaker 1: with bp E t MC and uh who who? My
- 16:25Speaker 1: name is? Remy? Sir? I'm with bp E t MC.
- 16:28Speaker 1: What we're doing is we have a petition we're trying
- 16:31Speaker 1: to get signed throughout the black community, uh of some
- 16:34Speaker 1: things that we're trying to actually help out in the
- 16:36Speaker 1: black community. Huh. So BP E t MC is actually
- 16:39Speaker 1: an organization and we're trying to actually uh save some
- 16:43Speaker 1: things in the black community. Where's the what's B what
- 16:45Speaker 1: is that? What's that stand for? What's here? Is that BT?
- 16:48Speaker 1: What is that for? Uh? BP E t MC is
- 16:51Speaker 1: is uh, black people eat too much chicken? And what
- 16:55Speaker 1: we're trying to do with this man? You got kidding me? Man?
- 16:59Speaker 1: Is this man? This is? This is Remy sir. We're
- 17:01Speaker 1: trying to get you all to actually sign a petition.
- 17:03Speaker 1: What's going on as black people are buying too much chicken.
- 17:06Speaker 1: You gotta be gidding me with this man. This is
- 17:09Speaker 1: a right man? Who is this man? I am Caucasian, sir? Yes,
- 17:14Speaker 1: then why are you calling me with this? But what
- 17:16Speaker 1: we're trying to do is we're trying to get how
- 17:19Speaker 1: did you get my number? First of all, actually we
- 17:21Speaker 1: get it. We're getting numbers from supermarkets that are letting
- 17:23Speaker 1: us know the people. Let he'll get to call my
- 17:27Speaker 1: phone with this man caught about from Beat Chicken. Man,
- 17:30Speaker 1: you know you can let me get a smack one
- 17:33Speaker 1: of y'all. Okay, sir. What we're trying to do is
- 17:36Speaker 1: get you guys to cut back on buying chicken. Who
- 17:39Speaker 1: you're talking about? You guys? Well, the black community is
- 17:42Speaker 1: the black community. Man. You've got to go on with it.
- 17:46Speaker 1: We can't get table it. Then they'll be calling my
- 17:48Speaker 1: phone with that man. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 17:53Speaker 1: the valerie A vow. This is shame. How cann't help you?
- 17:57Speaker 1: All right? My name is Remy. I'm with Beat We
- 18:00Speaker 1: Eat TMC. How you're doing I'm doing fine and you
- 18:04Speaker 1: I'm very well. Man. Listen, what we're trying to do is, uh,
- 18:07Speaker 1: if I take a little bit of your time, we're
- 18:09Speaker 1: trying to actually get a survey signed by people in
- 18:12Speaker 1: the black community. We're actually trying to help out in
- 18:14Speaker 1: the black community. The organization is bpe TMC. And what
- 18:18Speaker 1: this is is black What is that? Uh, that's that's
- 18:22Speaker 1: Black people eat too much chicken. So what we're doing
- 18:26Speaker 1: is we're trying to get what say that woman time
- 18:29Speaker 1: for me? Black people eat too much chicken. You see,
- 18:32Speaker 1: there's been a shortage in chicken. So what we're trying
- 18:35Speaker 1: to do is get black people in chicken. And you
- 18:38Speaker 1: want to do a survey, well, we want what we
- 18:41Speaker 1: want you guys to do with sign a petition that
- 18:43Speaker 1: you're not going to eat anymore chicken this year. Why
- 18:45Speaker 1: does the name make sense? We just don't eat chicken,
- 18:48Speaker 1: you know, we eat beef, steak, eat fish. I don't
- 18:52Speaker 1: see you're trying to part that off the market. Now,
- 18:54Speaker 1: why would you want to tell us not to eat
- 18:57Speaker 1: chicken and we eat other stuff too? What are you
- 18:59Speaker 1: getting a winding front? Because this doesn't make any sense.
- 19:02Speaker 1: The test study, man was over chicken, and it just
- 19:05Speaker 1: seems like that this study. Who did this test study? Well,
- 19:09Speaker 1: we did, man, We're BPE TMC. After doing the test study.
- 19:12Speaker 1: We did realize that the black people are the ones
- 19:15Speaker 1: that make the test. I don't just do it at
- 19:17Speaker 1: to do black people. I mean just use white people.
- 19:20Speaker 1: But white people eat chicken too, and she has a
- 19:23Speaker 1: diets and stuff. Okay, man, well Asian? What about the
- 19:27Speaker 1: Hispanic did you use them? Man? Listen? The bottom line
- 19:30Speaker 1: is our first study is black people, and what we're
- 19:32Speaker 1: trying to do is get you guys to cut back
- 19:34Speaker 1: on EATI yes, study should be everybody. This is something
- 19:37Speaker 1: where should get my number from? Man? We got we
- 19:40Speaker 1: got numbers from the supermarkets that people that number from
- 19:43Speaker 1: No supermarkets. I ain't give my number to no supermarket.
- 19:46Speaker 1: This is gonna make any damn sense. You calling me,
- 19:48Speaker 1: interrupting me about something like this. This is this bottom line. Man.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You you don't tell me. You're not telling me put
- 19:57Speaker 1: the hair, I can't. You don't laugh mine, You don't
- 20:00Speaker 1: woman pushed this survey. Yes you do, calling somebody telling
- 20:05Speaker 1: else black people eat too much? You and your partition.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Would you like to hear what the survey is actually saying. No,
- 20:12Speaker 1: I don't want to hear that the survey is actually saying,
- 20:14Speaker 1: because what you're saying about a whole bunch, but the
- 20:17Speaker 1: survey is saying that this is nephew Tommy from the
- 20:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Valerie, this is nephew Tommy baby
- 20:26Speaker 1: from the sea walking. Oh oh oh lord, all right,
- 20:41Speaker 1: what thank you? Nephew? Coming up next, asked the CLO
- 20:45Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. In the building ready for
- 20:48Speaker 1: your love questions right after this. You're listening to the
- 20:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 20:54Speaker 1: the hour, and the entertainment news R. Kelly is sentenced
- 20:58Speaker 1: to thirty years in free Yeah, we'll talk about that,
- 21:03Speaker 1: you're right. Clifton Powell gives dating advice to his son
- 21:06Speaker 1: Clifton Junior on dating Sasha Obama and Carla and I. Yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 1: Carla and I will recap our seagrums escape happy hour.
- 21:16Speaker 1: But right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:19Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. All right, Gina and Philly writes,
- 21:23Speaker 1: my uncle brought his much younger wife over to meet
- 21:26Speaker 1: me and my husband. She was cute, but her lashes
- 21:30Speaker 1: were too long and her dress was too tight. I
- 21:34Speaker 1: caught my husband staring at her a few times. He
- 21:37Speaker 1: talks bad about women like this, but he didn't have
- 21:40Speaker 1: one bad thing to say about her. Is this really
- 21:43Speaker 1: what he likes? Yeah? Quit looking at her. Yeah, let's
- 21:49Speaker 1: answer that question, next question should you don't want to elaborate.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That's what he liked, that's what he liked, and that
- 21:57Speaker 1: ain't what you do. And always you remember this to
- 22:00Speaker 1: he talk about women who do that, that's a deflection.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Sitting up all them tight clothes, on them long eyelashes.
- 22:09Speaker 1: I like our lashes, but I mean there's a point
- 22:13Speaker 1: where they can be too long. Though I love me,
- 22:17Speaker 1: but as long as they ain't on margin, I don't care.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Moving on to Tanya in New Mexico. Tanya, right, seven
- 22:26Speaker 1: years ago, I was dating a man that sold drugs,
- 22:29Speaker 1: and now he's changed his life and is a preacher.
- 22:32Speaker 1: He's wanting me back in his life. But I'm still
- 22:34Speaker 1: a dancer and I made great money and I get
- 22:37Speaker 1: paid for appearances. I'm sure he hasn't changed all of
- 22:40Speaker 1: his ways, So why is he trying to change me
- 22:43Speaker 1: all of a sudden? Because he a preacher trying they're
- 22:47Speaker 1: the sole conversion business, So why is he trying to
- 22:51Speaker 1: change you? How long you think you're gonna be get
- 22:54Speaker 1: up on that pole along she said, a dancer. It's
- 23:00Speaker 1: the pole dancing. Ain't nobody paying no money to come
- 23:09Speaker 1: see you do? Alvin Haley sall either, ain't nobody going
- 23:19Speaker 1: out here? See you do the Nutcracker? Well crazy? Well
- 23:27Speaker 1: now so Sheirley, Yeah, that's why. And you know he
- 23:32Speaker 1: wants you back in his life. But you're still a dancer. Now,
- 23:35Speaker 1: you know why is he trying to change you? But
- 23:37Speaker 1: that's it, skip it. Don't keep dancing. If you keep
- 23:40Speaker 1: doing what you've been doing, you're gonna keep getting what
- 23:44Speaker 1: you've been getting. So keep on dancing, get that money,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and your life won't go forward anywhere. But are you
- 23:53Speaker 1: working to night though? Just now? Here's here's here's the
- 23:58Speaker 1: other problem to dancing. When people change, don't expect everybody
- 24:04Speaker 1: to go along with the change. That's right, because the
- 24:08Speaker 1: majority of the people will always reference you to where
- 24:13Speaker 1: you were when they need to be. And so her
- 24:17Speaker 1: reference point is you out in the streets. Now you
- 24:20Speaker 1: a preacher trying to talk to her differently, and all
- 24:23Speaker 1: she see is you were selling drugs. Now I'm the baddies.
- 24:28Speaker 1: So you got to be careful when you make your
- 24:30Speaker 1: change and you approach people with the new you be
- 24:32Speaker 1: very careful. Yeah, no judgments. Yeah, because we all have
- 24:39Speaker 1: a past, all right. Moving on to Florida and Tuskegee,
- 24:43Speaker 1: Florida says, I have a question. If I'm dating a
- 24:46Speaker 1: man and he tells me that he's had orgies and
- 24:49Speaker 1: threesomes a lot in the past, well, he eventually want
- 24:52Speaker 1: me to do this sort of thing too. The dating
- 24:55Speaker 1: pool is so terrible, now, what am I getting myself
- 24:58Speaker 1: into with him? Yeah? Some orgies are And I know
- 25:05Speaker 1: you're dating a man and that's what he keeps telling you.
- 25:09Speaker 1: So he throwing that out there. That's bait. And if
- 25:12Speaker 1: you cool with it and you won't see him anyway,
- 25:15Speaker 1: then you gonnead to see him and rested him people. Well,
- 25:19Speaker 1: she's saying the dating pool is so terrible now, so
- 25:22Speaker 1: it sounds like she is gonna keep seeing him because
- 25:25Speaker 1: well you're stupid. Yeah, because the dating pool just because
- 25:29Speaker 1: it's terrible now, don't mean you have to be in it. Yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 1: you don't have to date him. You have to just yeah,
- 25:36Speaker 1: upgrade your standing. See, in order to not be treated badly,
- 25:42Speaker 1: you must first start with not accepting bad treatment. That's
- 25:47Speaker 1: just the beginning of it all. But if you're willing
- 25:51Speaker 1: to even entertain it? Did he? It? Come? If I
- 25:57Speaker 1: think for one minute you're gonna go along with this, hire,
- 26:00Speaker 1: then't along with it? We go? Yeah? What what not?
- 26:08Speaker 1: Threesome ain't bad treatment though, I mean it ain't. Why
- 26:12Speaker 1: are you looking at it like that? You tell you
- 26:14Speaker 1: so against everything. It's hard to do equal treatments in
- 26:20Speaker 1: a threesome. You know the cow you know you can't
- 26:25Speaker 1: figure out hot it work? Two difficult? Balanced this out?
- 26:32Speaker 1: Why are you rubbing your forehead one six seven stop
- 26:37Speaker 1: and kiss one or two seven eight and rub one
- 26:46Speaker 1: circles stopped? Turned and rub what you sound like you're
- 26:52Speaker 1: going to exercise class? And bounce one two and turn
- 27:02Speaker 1: bounce one. I was trying to distribute that to you
- 27:06Speaker 1: last man. I stop this hill right here. I'm wearing
- 27:10Speaker 1: myself out, losing count. This ain't going good at all.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Uh yeah, don't get involved, Flora, please move on, all right,
- 27:19Speaker 1: Vanya and Ohio says this is the last one. Steed.
- 27:22Speaker 1: There's a part of town where couples go to have
- 27:25Speaker 1: sex in the car. My cousin joked about saying my
- 27:28Speaker 1: car parked there last week. I've never been up there,
- 27:31Speaker 1: but I let my boyfriend use my car. My cousin
- 27:35Speaker 1: has no reason to lie. So should I confront my
- 27:38Speaker 1: man with a rumor or wait to catch him slipping
- 27:40Speaker 1: and bust him myself? You really think that he fit
- 27:44Speaker 1: to say he was up there with your car confronting
- 27:49Speaker 1: him right now, I'm telling you, right now, he is
- 27:53Speaker 1: going to dine to lie. Now, on the other hand,
- 27:59Speaker 1: you ain't the only one with that kind of car. Oh,
- 28:03Speaker 1: that's first, that's out the gate. That's out the gate.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Thank you. You're the only one. What you think, I'm
- 28:13Speaker 1: the only one. I'm gonna tell you right now. You
- 28:17Speaker 1: go right on here to the police station and run
- 28:19Speaker 1: the track and you'll find out how many did he
- 28:21Speaker 1: called it? I see him all the time. You know
- 28:24Speaker 1: how many times I thought that was you? Oh? I
- 28:31Speaker 1: was in that part a lot over that body Walmart.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I thought I saw your car got out with the
- 28:37Speaker 1: baby seat the back, wouldn't he meant? And then see
- 28:39Speaker 1: you have them? All time I thought I saw you
- 28:40Speaker 1: know that CBS someday that wouldn't you I pull up
- 28:43Speaker 1: on you to drive through down that That wouldn't that
- 28:45Speaker 1: wouldn't you? Now your cousin seen your car? That did
- 28:49Speaker 1: he see me? Did he see me? He saw the card?
- 28:55Speaker 1: Did he see me? All right? Thank you Cel. Coming
- 29:01Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 29:02Speaker 1: entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening to
- 29:06Speaker 1: the Stow Well. Carla and I would love to thank

- 29:31Speaker 1: missed her, but thank you. It was you know, was
- 29:36Speaker 1: packed people for we had all over the world. We're
- 29:40Speaker 1: checking in from Africa, Canada, the London, all of the country.

- 29:59Speaker 1: Don't forget that Denzel and Dress called. They did, they
- 30:04Speaker 1: shouted the South. They were there. They were there. Yes, yeah, yes,
- 30:09Speaker 1: they check it out on the check they did. Yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 1: they checked in. They were busy. They just checked in
- 30:14Speaker 1: to say what's up. Maybe that's why you couldn't get through.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I'm just Denzel Dickson, Denzel Snight, What Denzel, y'all? Indress Williams,
- 30:28Speaker 1: Denzel and Indress. All right, yeah, but we had a
- 30:33Speaker 1: we had a great time. Thanks everyone who joined us.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Pick up a Segreens Escape Variety pack this weekend so
- 30:39Speaker 1: you can sample all of the flavors we had. Jamaican
- 30:43Speaker 1: me happy of course, Segreens Escapes Sip happiness. Thank you now, yeah,
- 30:49Speaker 1: moving on to this R and B superstar R. Kelly
- 30:53Speaker 1: has been sentenced to thirty years in prison thirty years
- 30:57Speaker 1: in prison following his racket steering conviction M following his
- 31:01Speaker 1: racketeering conviction, a conviction last year for using enablers to
- 31:05Speaker 1: sexually abuse miners for decades. This was going on US
- 31:10Speaker 1: District Court Judge An Donnelly spent several minutes detailing instances
- 31:15Speaker 1: of abuse and violence while looking directly at R. Kelly.
- 31:19Speaker 1: These crimes were calculated and carefully planned and regularly executed
- 31:24Speaker 1: for almost twenty five years. A judge said, you taught
- 31:28Speaker 1: them that luck, You taught them that love is enslavement
- 31:32Speaker 1: and violence. Okay. And although Kelly didn't speak out, one
- 31:38Speaker 1: of his victims did. She went by the name of
- 31:40Speaker 1: Jane doe number two. She told R. Kelly, you degraded me,
- 31:44Speaker 1: you humiliated me, and broke my spirit. I wished I
- 31:48Speaker 1: would die because of how you degraded me. Wow. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:54Speaker 1: that is very much so so thirty years for this
- 31:57Speaker 1: particular case, for our one case, for this particular one. Yeah,
- 32:03Speaker 1: thirty years not enough time to me, uh huh yep, yep, yep.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Any more. He should be in prison for the rest
- 32:11Speaker 1: of his life. Yeah, oh, absolutely, absolutely, yep. Yep. Yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 1: um steve this case. The length of it, all the
- 32:25Speaker 1: length that this thing has been happening, the fact that
- 32:29Speaker 1: he was acquitted before and had a chance to walk
- 32:36Speaker 1: away and and get it together, and it was just
- 32:42Speaker 1: too much evidence in proof of this continued behavior. You
- 32:47Speaker 1: can't get mad at the system now, you know when
- 32:50Speaker 1: the system turns around and bite you, because I mean, look, man,
- 32:54Speaker 1: that was that was plenty opportunity to do the right thing.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And when you talk talk about doing people this way,
- 33:02Speaker 1: and then you know people here the sad part about
- 33:05Speaker 1: our society that were actually people talking about when they
- 33:08Speaker 1: was grown women, they could have did this, they could
- 33:10Speaker 1: have did that, could did a lot of things. Y'all
- 33:13Speaker 1: say that when they picked up Patty Hurst and brainwashed her.
- 33:17Speaker 1: She got free and clear all that, and that's just
- 33:19Speaker 1: because they say she got brainwashed. We have to send
- 33:22Speaker 1: that same we have to send those same courtesies to
- 33:28Speaker 1: women of color. And you you have to understand that,
- 33:32Speaker 1: man and m and the sad part of it. This
- 33:38Speaker 1: was a man who was very powerful, extremely talented, talented, talented.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I mean this dude right here, man, this dude, Oh
- 33:50Speaker 1: my god, come on, just man, that was an opportunity
- 33:53Speaker 1: for you to to do the right thing and you
- 33:55Speaker 1: chose not to. So you know, this is a This
- 33:59Speaker 1: is at an ugly day on so many levels. Because
- 34:04Speaker 1: I hate to see the demise of a person. Yeah,
- 34:10Speaker 1: I just hate to see it. But when you do
- 34:13Speaker 1: it to yourself, now, it's a whole other thing. When
- 34:16Speaker 1: this system unjustifiably does it. When they arrest and incarcerate
- 34:22Speaker 1: innocence people all the time sitting on death row doing
- 34:27Speaker 1: time for crime they didn't do, won't review DNA reports,
- 34:31Speaker 1: there's new DNA evidence out there, and they won't get
- 34:33Speaker 1: these brothers a new trial. That right there is the
- 34:36Speaker 1: system failing us and doing what it's done to us
- 34:39Speaker 1: over and over. But when you do it to yourself. Yeah,
- 34:43Speaker 1: to the women, to these young women. Yeah, when you
- 34:47Speaker 1: do it to yourself. Man, you bought this on yourself.
- 34:50Speaker 1: You owe no blame to no one else. Man. This
- 34:53Speaker 1: is all you, and then the lives that you left
- 34:58Speaker 1: in shambles along the way without any remorse, all to
- 35:04Speaker 1: fit into your fetishes and pleasures and demons. Yeah, just
- 35:10Speaker 1: like playing this did this whole another? Yeah? Sad yep?
- 35:18Speaker 1: So thirty years in prison yea with this case for racketeering.
- 35:23Speaker 1: H yeah, but these kids don't see that's part you know.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Look these kids, dog, you know, a girl under age?
- 35:34Speaker 1: You know this? Yeah, yeah, see why we're at with
- 35:38Speaker 1: this advantage man, these kids. That's the one for me.
- 35:43Speaker 1: It's the kid. All right. All right, we'll be back
- 35:46Speaker 1: with more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show right after
- 35:49Speaker 1: this you're listening show, all right. As you know, this
- 35:54Speaker 1: weekend starts the big fourth of July holiday celebration, and
- 36:00Speaker 1: we today's Junior. We couldn't go without having a July
- 36:05Speaker 1: fourth poem for our resident. Couldn't go with Junior. No,
- 36:10Speaker 1: we couldn't not can't do it. There's no way you
- 36:13Speaker 1: can do it. And you're gonna love the title of
- 36:15Speaker 1: it because it has to do with the fourth and
- 36:18Speaker 1: a lot of people that y'all gon know that's coming
- 36:20Speaker 1: by your house, and it's called can I get a plate?
- 36:23Speaker 1: A lot of bags are gonna be happening on the
- 36:25Speaker 1: four Can I get a plate? He? Wait? Wait, wait, wait, team,
- 36:29Speaker 1: did you want to say something? Did you want to
- 36:31Speaker 1: introduce Junior? Did you want to because it's been a
- 36:33Speaker 1: minute giving us a beautiful poem, Ladies and gentlemen, without
- 36:39Speaker 1: further adoke, here is a man that you've known and
- 36:45Speaker 1: love that could all change. Ladies and gentlemen, coming to
- 36:51Speaker 1: you in his usual way. We are lovingly calling him
- 36:56Speaker 1: Jay Rapp. Ladies. Jay Rapp is an acronym juniors raggedy
- 37:04Speaker 1: as thank you, Rob got it? Chad, I Get a
- 37:10Speaker 1: Plate is the title of this poem because the fourth
- 37:14Speaker 1: and here it is the fourth of July is Monday,
- 37:19Speaker 1: and I want to celebrate. So Uncle Steve, can I
- 37:22Speaker 1: come over and fix me a plate? I wrote a
- 37:25Speaker 1: poem to ask so you won't say no. And I
- 37:28Speaker 1: didn't just want to pop up at your dough because
- 37:31Speaker 1: you got security and everything. I can bring my own
- 37:34Speaker 1: container and aluin them fall I can't stay too long
- 37:37Speaker 1: because I don't want my potato salad to spoil. Look,
- 37:41Speaker 1: I would like to have some steak, rims and chicken.
- 37:45Speaker 1: You know you're real rich, so I know all your
- 37:47Speaker 1: food gonna be fingerlicking. Can't ask time me a collar
- 37:50Speaker 1: because they live too far away, and you already know
- 37:53Speaker 1: Shirley ain't making a damn thing that day. So I'm
- 37:56Speaker 1: asking for a plate from my boss, mentor and friend
- 38:00Speaker 1: U Steve, Can I please come get some barbecue? D
- 38:03Speaker 1: n YEA wow, Okay, I'm covering every ride. Can I
- 38:13Speaker 1: get a play right time about myself? I just want
- 38:20Speaker 1: to point out I covered everybody because calling a timey,
- 38:24Speaker 1: y'all do live too far ahead. Get so I gotta
- 38:27Speaker 1: go where I know everybody. I know everybody will be
- 38:29Speaker 1: on Steve h so on speed. Just asked the question
- 38:31Speaker 1: front of the nation. Here's your bottle. Here your responses
- 38:38Speaker 1: in a poet. This by far is your best point.
- 38:44Speaker 1: That's for show. But the answer to your question is
- 38:49Speaker 1: still hell no, we got to go. Coming up thirty
- 39:00Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour will highlight the upcoming investfest
- 39:04Speaker 1: taking place next month in Atlanta. Right after this, you're
- 39:08Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Morning Show. Well listen, if podcasts
- 39:13Speaker 1: are your thing, there's a festival that's just for you.
- 39:17Speaker 1: iHeartMedia and Charlemagne announced the first ever Black Effect Podcast Festival.
- 39:23Speaker 1: I Like the sound of that. The Black Effect Podcast
- 39:26Speaker 1: Festival that aims to celebrate, uplift and amplify black voices
- 39:30Speaker 1: in the podcast industry. The event is scheduled to take
- 39:33Speaker 1: place in August twenty eighth in Brooklyn, and it will
- 39:36Speaker 1: be hosted by comedian Little Duval living his Best life
- 39:40Speaker 1: with live podcasts tapings from the Black Effects most popular shows,
- 39:44Speaker 1: like the eighty five South Show, which we love. Shout
- 39:47Speaker 1: out to the Young Kings that hosts the eighty five
- 39:50Speaker 1: South Show. We love them, Love Them, Young Flag, Carlos
- 39:54Speaker 1: Miller we love them we really really show, and Chico
- 39:57Speaker 1: Bean Yes, we love them, love them, Love them. Another
- 40:01Speaker 1: widely successful podcast under Black Effect is for Your Leisure Podcasts.
- 40:06Speaker 1: You know about that one, Steve. We had the hosts
- 40:09Speaker 1: for Your Leisure Podcast on our show recently to promote
- 40:12Speaker 1: the invest Fest. Now this is the first ever festival
- 40:15Speaker 1: of its kind. Steve, you will be a featured speaker
- 40:19Speaker 1: at Investfest, so you can tell us about the event.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Really I think, well invest Fest when you say, though
- 40:25Speaker 1: only it's the type of festival that it is. They've
- 40:28Speaker 1: done it before in another part of the country. This
- 40:32Speaker 1: is the first time that it's in Atlanta and it's
- 40:35Speaker 1: August fifth through the seventh. It's called invest Fest. I'm
- 40:39Speaker 1: fully invested in this group. I'm fully invested in. I
- 40:42Speaker 1: did the big one of the best podcasts, one of
- 40:45Speaker 1: the best interviews period I've ever done in my career
- 40:48Speaker 1: because these young men really gave me an opportunity to
- 40:52Speaker 1: share some of my thoughts about business and philosophy and
- 40:55Speaker 1: things of that nature. It wasn't a showbiz type of interview.
- 40:59Speaker 1: And they're having this Investvest August fifth through seventh. Everybody,
- 41:04Speaker 1: if you just go to I think it's investfst dot com.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I believest dot com dot com for all the ticket
- 41:12Speaker 1: information and listen. They got some real speakers down there.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I will be attending. Rick Ross will be there, Charlemagne
- 41:20Speaker 1: will be there. There is a rumor. It's a rumor
- 41:24Speaker 1: right now. Yeah, Tyler Perry, Wow, that's big, that's big. Huh.
- 41:35Speaker 1: It's just a rumor right now. You can bring them out.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I don't really do rumors, so it's this is a hit,
- 41:44Speaker 1: but it's going to be filled with information on how
- 41:47Speaker 1: to become successful. I think there are so many young
- 41:51Speaker 1: people out there, so many middle aged people, so many
- 41:53Speaker 1: grown people out there who are still rulling and wanting
- 41:57Speaker 1: to put in the work to be successful. And part
- 42:00Speaker 1: of it could be the beginning for you. Go down
- 42:02Speaker 1: in roy Elbows with some like minded people at investst
- 42:08Speaker 1: August fifth through the seventh, to go down there and
- 42:11Speaker 1: start making some moves for yourself. Get your life on track. Man,
- 42:14Speaker 1: these young guys have figured it out, man, on how
- 42:18Speaker 1: to share this information. It's it's it's it's almost too
- 42:23Speaker 1: cheap to believe it really is. Man. So what are
- 42:27Speaker 1: some what are some of the things, Steve that you'll
- 42:29Speaker 1: be you'll be talking about specifically about investing. You know,
- 42:33Speaker 1: it's not just investing, but it's you know, when you
- 42:37Speaker 1: think investing, people, I'm well, I don't handle money to
- 42:40Speaker 1: put in the stock market. I don't have any money
- 42:42Speaker 1: to uh start my own business. That's not the investment.
- 42:47Speaker 1: The investment that you have to make is in you.
- 42:52Speaker 1: You have to invest in gaining the knowledge to create

- 53:05Speaker 1: Could not be more Clear's all right, look at the time.
- 53:11Speaker 1: We gotta get out of here. Coming up next, it's
- 53:14Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. The subject is my neighbor's T shirt
- 53:17Speaker 1: in our garage. We'll get into it right after this.

- 53:32Speaker 1: submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com.
- 53:37Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live on the air,
- 53:39Speaker 1: just like we're gonna read this one right here, right now.
- 53:42Speaker 1: And you never know, this one could be yours. It
- 53:45Speaker 1: could be Buckle up and hold on tight. We got
- 53:47Speaker 1: it before you here. It is Strawberry letter, subject my
- 53:51Speaker 1: neighbor's T shirt in our garage. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 53:55Speaker 1: a forty four year old married woman and my husband
- 53:58Speaker 1: broke his leg in several places in a bad car crash.
- 54:02Speaker 1: He's been off his feet for three months and I
- 54:04Speaker 1: set him up in our downstairs bedroom. He owns a
- 54:07Speaker 1: car wash and has always been very active, so when
- 54:11Speaker 1: he couldn't go to work or do anything around the house,
- 54:13Speaker 1: he went through a bout of depression. The medication made
- 54:16Speaker 1: him sleep a lot, and I felt really bad for him.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Now that he's up and back on his feet, he's
- 54:22Speaker 1: got a bad attitude and the smallest thing set him off,
- 54:26Speaker 1: and all we do is argue. He was in the
- 54:29Speaker 1: garage yesterday putting out trash and he saw a man's
- 54:32Speaker 1: T shirt behind the garbage can. I had no idea
- 54:35Speaker 1: whose shirt it was because he often takes my old
- 54:38Speaker 1: T shirts and his old T shirts to the car
- 54:41Speaker 1: wash to use his rags. I didn't even think that
- 54:44Speaker 1: it could be our neighbor's shirt, but it was. When
- 54:47Speaker 1: my husband was down and out, our next door neighbors
- 54:50Speaker 1: came to my aid. They're very Christian couple and sweetest
- 54:54Speaker 1: can be. The husband helped me with putting out the trash,
- 54:57Speaker 1: and he helped with keeping the yard up. Wife made
- 55:00Speaker 1: a couple of meals for us, and she did a
- 55:02Speaker 1: few grocery store runs for me. I owe them the
- 55:05Speaker 1: world for their help. But my husband has been very
- 55:08Speaker 1: disrespectful because he found the neighbor's T shirt. I told
- 55:12Speaker 1: my husband that the man probably took the shirt off
- 55:15Speaker 1: while he was helping us because it was really hot,
- 55:18Speaker 1: or he meant to throw the shirt away because it
- 55:20Speaker 1: was too soiled. My husband thinks I was sneaking around
- 55:23Speaker 1: with this much older, overweight man next door. It's so embarrassing,
- 55:27Speaker 1: and I can't stand the way he's treating them. I
- 55:30Speaker 1: can't apologize enough to the neighbors. How do I get
- 55:33Speaker 1: my crazy husband to stop tripping? Well, if I were you,
- 55:39Speaker 1: I would just stop entertaining this foolishness. I would just stop.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't even pay attention to it. Your husband knows better.
- 55:45Speaker 1: He knows the T shirt was there just for the
- 55:47Speaker 1: reason you said. Either your neighbor meant to throw it
- 55:50Speaker 1: away when he was over there helping, or he took
- 55:53Speaker 1: the shirt off because it was too hot. It takes
- 55:56Speaker 1: two people to argue, so just stop arguing with him
- 55:59Speaker 1: about He's back up and on his feet now, thanks
- 56:02Speaker 1: to you guys. So what's his problem now? He's ungrateful.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I think that's what it is. He's just ungrateful, and
- 56:09Speaker 1: that's a character flaw. I mean, the people went out
- 56:12Speaker 1: of their way to help him and you while he
- 56:15Speaker 1: was down, and this is the things that you all get.
- 56:18Speaker 1: I say, let him know, sit him down, let him
- 56:21Speaker 1: know that he can stay stuck on stupid if he
- 56:23Speaker 1: wants to, but you want no part of his bad behavior.
- 56:27Speaker 1: When he brings it up again, ignore him, Remind him
- 56:31Speaker 1: that just life is too short to be arguing arguing
- 56:34Speaker 1: over this dumb stuff. He should be thanking you. He
- 56:37Speaker 1: should be loving you right now, you know, for how
- 56:40Speaker 1: well you took care of him during those three months.
- 56:43Speaker 1: He should be glad to be alive after that horrible
- 56:45Speaker 1: car accident and treating the neighbors with kindness and respect
- 56:49Speaker 1: as well. This is crazy, and you're you're right, your
- 56:52Speaker 1: husband is crazy. Hopefully he'll get it together. Maybe it's
- 56:55Speaker 1: the meds. Maybe is he still on the meds. Maybe
- 56:58Speaker 1: it's the meds. Check that out. Anyway, I'm done, Steve,
- 57:03Speaker 1: That ain't it, Shelley, I got your baby. Don't worry
- 57:05Speaker 1: about the beautiful response. I love the way you're handled
- 57:08Speaker 1: and everything, and made a lot of sense everything you
- 57:10Speaker 1: were saying. This a man is she let me go
- 57:12Speaker 1: take it from here. He got some little inside on this.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I know the story all too well right here. I've
- 57:17Speaker 1: seen this movie before. I know how it ended. Now
- 57:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna guide you through this letter. I'm gonna tell
- 57:22Speaker 1: you what it is. I know y'all always think I'm
- 57:24Speaker 1: always talking about this hill, but I know what I'm
- 57:28Speaker 1: talking about. When he come to me. This is a
- 57:31Speaker 1: man issue it for y'all. Lady. Husband broke his leg
- 57:36Speaker 1: in several places, several places really in a car crash.
- 57:43Speaker 1: He been off his feet for three months. All this
- 57:47Speaker 1: is key information. You set him up in the down
- 57:50Speaker 1: says badroom. Now he had car washing. He's always been
- 57:54Speaker 1: very ever active, but when he couldn't go to work
- 57:56Speaker 1: or do anything around the house, he went through a
- 58:00Speaker 1: out of depression. Medication made him sleep a lot. I
- 58:03Speaker 1: really felt bad for him. Now he's up and back
- 58:06Speaker 1: on his feet, but he's got a bad attitude and
- 58:09Speaker 1: the smallest things set him off. And all we do
- 58:14Speaker 1: is ogur Hill is the latter, right Hill. What happened
- 58:18Speaker 1: is your husband has allowed his condition to affect his
- 58:23Speaker 1: attitude instead of his attitude controlling the condition. He broke
- 58:32Speaker 1: his leg, He loses leg. Ain't like somebody came took
- 58:36Speaker 1: it off. There are people who are amputees who have
- 58:40Speaker 1: the most courage and have the best attitude of people
- 58:43Speaker 1: I've seen with two legs. They don't stop, won't stop,
- 58:47Speaker 1: can't stop. They do things that people with two legs
- 58:50Speaker 1: wouldn't even dare to attempt. They out the ski and
- 58:53Speaker 1: day out there snowboarding, they out that climbing, they out
- 58:57Speaker 1: that playing sports. They in leagues and everything ain't and
- 59:01Speaker 1: your hoods sit over here and broke he lied Now
- 59:04Speaker 1: he ain't. Naw, he ain't that thing no more with
- 59:08Speaker 1: his punk hand. Now here what really happened. And that's
- 59:14Speaker 1: where the ladies is gonna disagree. Okay, sat around on
- 59:19Speaker 1: his ass for three months sleeping and eating. Nah he
- 59:24Speaker 1: fat he to gain weight, now na, na, with this
- 59:31Speaker 1: new weight game. He now got a bad attitude. Now
- 59:34Speaker 1: he mad at everybody else because he broke he live
- 59:39Speaker 1: now he fat he ain't what he was set three
- 59:43Speaker 1: moths or sleeping and eating all this boy or swollen. Now,
- 59:48Speaker 1: we'll get into the T shirt when I come back

- 59:54Speaker 1: and I will tell you how you should have handled
- 59:57Speaker 1: the T shirt. All right, we'll it comes some more lives.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up to
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. My neighbor's T shirt is in our garage.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: My neighbor's T shirt in our garage. That's coming up
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hours. Don't go anywhere.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: strawberry letter. My neighbor's T shirt in our garage. Well,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: here we go. It's forty for you, old moment. It's
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: married to this man that had a car wash. Always
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: been very active, but he got in a car accident
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: and he broke your leg in three places. Nah, he
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: wasn't active anymore. For three months. He'd been sitting around
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: eating the maid's got him sleepy all the time, eating
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: and sleeping and sitting around doing nothing. Calorie counts half.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Taylor's just sitting up there with gravy in a cup
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: with a straw in it. He's grazy up very he ain't,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: you fat ass, just sitting up, just picking up what
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you felt bad for him. Now he back on his feet.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: He got a bad attitude, smallest thing set him off,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and all we do is argument. He ain't what he was.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: He hadn't let the condition of the break it affect
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: his attitude. Instead of letting his attitude affect the condition
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: or the break. He didn't have to change. He changed
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: on his own. Now Here in the garage the other day,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: putting out the trash hit the problem. He saw a
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: man's T shirt behind the garbage. Kid. I had no
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: idea whose shirt it was, because he often takes our
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: old T shirts up to the car. Watch you use
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: him as rags right down. You had no idea who
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: the T shirt was. I didn't even think it could
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: be our neighbor's T shirt. Okay, but it was what
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you mean, but it was. You had no idea it
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: could be a neighbor's T shirt. But it was how
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: who bought it up? Whose suggested that this is the
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: neighbor's T shirt. Shut your damn mouth. Stupid, so she
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: shouldn't have said anything about what she already said. She
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: has no idea who the T shirts was because he
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: often take the T shirts to the carwater. I didn't
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: even think it could be our neighbor's shirt, but it was.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Tell you mean, but it was. Stick to your story.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: You don't know nothing about the damn T shirt? What
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: is wrong with y'all? You didn't even have to lie.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: You could have just stuck to your damn story. When
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: my husband was down and out, our next th neighbor
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: came to my aid, this ain't looking good. They are
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: very Christian couple, sweetest can be. Christians have a fast.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: The huggan helped me by putting out the trash and
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: he helped keeping the yard up. The wife made a
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: couple is for us. She did a grocery store run
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: for me. I owed them to wear for that worm.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Why they are helping you, cooking, running stove for you?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: What happened to your leg? She can't do everything? What
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: was she doing? Fat boy was in here sleep. He
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: can't go nowhere. Ain't like he had to sit there
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: and pee on itself. What is she doing? He broke
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: his leg. He ain't got by trouble. She did not
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: have sex with that man. I didn't know. I know
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: she didn't. I know she didn't. But shut your mouth.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: You don't know whose T shirt it is? Why you
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: talking about? Yeah it is? He is. I owed them
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to wear for helping. But my husband been very disrespectful
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: because he found out the Navy T shirt. But he
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: disrespectful to you though. See I told my husband that
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the man probably took the shirt off while he was
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: helped by. What did you just say? You told your
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: husband that the man probably took the shirt off while
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: he was helping us because it was really hot. He
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: you t your shirt off? For hell? Now you just
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: said you to know whose T shirts were. Now you're
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: creating scenarios and story for his dumb ass to latch
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: on too. He took his shirt off because it's too hot.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: It ain't that damn hot. He meant to throw the
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: shot away, but it was too so my husband think
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I was sneaking around with this much older overweight man.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Next dope, and you know why he was thinking you
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: might be messing around with a much older overweight man.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Next dope, because you're still messing around with his now
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: much overweight ass, because he doesn't set up in here
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: and beating ding dogs and chips for three months with
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: his little bro ye meaning broke leg. He broke his legs,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: so damn wood. But all you had to do was
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: shut your mouth. He you are creating scenarios. Ain't got
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: nothing doing nothing. He probably took his shirt off helping
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: he got hot. What old fat Christian you know do that?
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Beacon Patterson used to work every every week on the
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: building for he never took your shirt off. Put steps
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: down to the basement in the church. They never took
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: a shirt off. How to hear we didn't have air
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: condition in the check It's so embarrassing that I can't
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: stand the way he treating him. I can't apologize enough
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: for them. How can I get my crazyhood and stop
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: tripping your husband stupid? He mad at himself because he
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: was in the cogs, and then now he won't everybody
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: feel side for him. Should have stuck to your story.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: There is no solution for this except now you have
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: learned a lesson. Quit running your damn The story is.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I don't know whose shut that is. Don't be in
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: that time. I know he probably take it off when
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: he got hot. You're just putting bullets in the good
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve. It's the time, wow, y'all
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: run y'all mouth for you to leave your comments on

- 1:10:04Speaker 1: have seen this guy's gone viral on social media on

- 1:10:49Speaker 1: what happens. I'm gonna went on in there, made me
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: a double whopping, went on home, whip cheese, thank you,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: And let me tell you what happened to Kevin Steve
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: on his two twenty seventh anniversary of working there, Kevin's
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: employer gave him a goodie bag. Now, this goodie bag
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: was filled with a Starbucks cup, a bag of Reese's
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Peanut buttercups, two rolls of Lifesavers, a single movie pass,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: a single movie pass, and then a lanyard co worker

- 1:11:20Speaker 1: video and of course, and it went viral on TikTok okay.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Commenters demanded that he received more for his long, unwavering service.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: His daughter later created a gofund me page to show
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: her own appreciation for her dad, in hopes of raising
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: two hundred dollars just two hundred dollars for a plane
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: tickets so Ford can come and visit her and her

- 1:11:54Speaker 1: invited to The Today Show to be reunited with his
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: daughter and three grandchildren on the show. So I mean, yeah,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: gave him a good bag. His employer, his employer. Yeah,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Burger King is not Yeah, I don't know what Burger
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: King gave him, but they didn't give him that yes stick, yes,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: that's that's not employer and that's his that's his co worker.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: We can quit talking employer coworker. We can stop using
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: these terms. Because there's two hundred thousand dollars. It's my
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: last day down at that damn bag dollars. It's my
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: last day at the Burger King. The wind is the
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: manl my ass is the fast. Take that two hundred

- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I'm not missing anymore. Matter of fact, you take me,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: you wipe me from your memory. I'm not missing. I
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: never existed about loyalty. I can work in twenty seven
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: years without stealing. Are you a walk years? I got
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: a fried at my house. I got one of them
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: flame brawlers at my home. I gotta drive through window
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: in my drive. I got burk, I got Burt King
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: sign outside of the town bending open up away, all right, Steven, Burgers,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: ladies and burgers. All right, I'm coming up my house,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: coming up at twenty minutes after the hour. We'll have
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. If your
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: favorite part of vacation is getting on the plane, you're
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: in luck. All right. Engineers right now are working on
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: what they call a flying hotel that will allow you
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: to spend your whole vacation mid air. Now, have you
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: heard of this, Steve? Have you heard of anything like this?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: They already got that in. See, I knew it all right.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: The tailed mock up shows a massive, multi level plane
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that could hold over five thousand people and stay in
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: the air for days, weeks, or even years at a time.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: The proposed it's called the sky Cruise. It hopes to
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: have luxuries like several swimming pools, restaurants, and a shopping mall.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: It will be a nuclear powered plane, so it won't
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: need pilots, and it will be run entirely by computers.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: So my question to you is, would you do this?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Would you like to be thirty thousand dollars thirty thousand
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: miles in the air or five for about a week
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: feet thirty thousand feet in the air for about a week,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: And you say they already have it, Steve, that's gonna
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: be hard on an airplane. I don't know how they're
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: gonna pull that off, because the cabin pressure is not
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: really good for you for that long. Those long flights,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you do a lot of swelling in cabin pressure like that.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: How you compress and socks. It's the swimming pool. They
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: already hard to get off. They already hard to get
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: on and off. You get them wet, you're gonna have
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: to cut them off. I'm not gonna be damn people though.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: All right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning

- 1:16:28Speaker 1: we're around it. Would you rather? This is the fourth
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: of July Cookout edition? Okay, so would you rather charcoal
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: grill or gas grill? Whool? Come on? Ye now, I
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: want to come on. I use I use lump charcoal,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: which is actually going good. Uh huh, I don't. I
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: haven't used briskets in Why is she asking the cooking question?
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: She didn't know what we're talking about, attitude? So me,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: what she asks I do is coal or gas? How?

- 1:17:37Speaker 1: is it becomes a new meat. It is called Bobby
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: q BB. Why like Bobby Brown, Bobby Bobb, Why Bobby
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: q It's a whole new meat. It ain't even pork
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: on mom can because I don't really care for pork
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: at all. Uh huh. Well, when I'm eating baby backs,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I'm telling you go down just like beef. All right,
