- 2:19Speaker 1: The fact that God woke you up and gave you
- 2:21Speaker 1: another opportunity. You know, every day you wake up, it's
- 2:24Speaker 1: another chance. It's a chance for all of us to
- 2:26Speaker 1: get better, to get it right, to get on the
- 2:29Speaker 1: right path, to stop heading the wrong way. Every day
- 2:33Speaker 1: you wake up, that's your opportunity. See, because he's gonna
- 2:37Speaker 1: keep waking you up because he has a plan for you.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know, I don't know, Uh you know, I don't.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know. When he makes his call,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and you know who gets called home when I can't
- 2:52Speaker 1: explain it, I don't have that answer. I'm not him,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I'm not God. I don't claim to be. I don't.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I don't understand it all sometimes, but God has an
- 3:01Speaker 1: amazing way. But as long as he's waking you up,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I do know this. God ain't through with you yet.
- 3:07Speaker 1: God has a plan for you. Your job is to identify,
- 3:11Speaker 1: identify the plan. You know. That's that's clearly what I
- 3:15Speaker 1: need for you to do. You know, um oftentimes the
- 3:19Speaker 1: thing that you're looking for, it's right there inside of you.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know. I can't tell you how many people I meet,
- 3:28Speaker 1: mister Harvey, mister Hart speak to you for a many year. Man,
- 3:31Speaker 1: what's up with you? Man? I was just wondering. Man,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I've been trying to and I want to know, man,
- 3:36Speaker 1: can you give me a good agent? Can you give
- 3:39Speaker 1: me a good lawyer? Can you give me a good Now? Look,
- 3:42Speaker 1: if you got some legal problems, I understand you're gonna
- 3:44Speaker 1: need some help right there. But the majority of questions
- 3:47Speaker 1: I get asked is about their future, about their place
- 3:50Speaker 1: in this world, about their mission, about what they're trying
- 3:53Speaker 1: to do, how they're trying to figure out, and then
- 3:56Speaker 1: how to go about doing it. But the answer I
- 3:59Speaker 1: must remind all of you is always within yourself. It
- 4:03Speaker 1: starts right there. See a lot of people burn up
- 4:06Speaker 1: a lot of time looking around trying to find someone.
- 4:10Speaker 1: If I could just meet them, if I could just
- 4:14Speaker 1: get on her show. Man, if all, if I could
- 4:17Speaker 1: just get to his show, I beating made It's not
- 4:22Speaker 1: That's not necessarily the case. Because see, just like every
- 4:27Speaker 1: time you put your put your faith in a person
- 4:31Speaker 1: or an event or currens or some type of thing
- 4:35Speaker 1: that you imagine yourself being, and then that'll do it
- 4:38Speaker 1: for you. Imagine of all the people who've made it
- 4:40Speaker 1: without you know, I look at everybody telling man, if
- 4:43Speaker 1: I could get on so and So's show, that will
- 4:45Speaker 1: do it for me. Man, somebody else got on that
- 4:47Speaker 1: show and they blew up. Man, if I could just
- 4:49Speaker 1: make it to that show, do you know how many
- 4:51Speaker 1: people have made it without that? So, see, when you
- 4:55Speaker 1: start focusing in on what your idea of how to
- 4:59Speaker 1: make it is, and your idea of how to make
- 5:01Speaker 1: it does not include your relationship with God, you're spending
- 5:05Speaker 1: your wills. Man, it's a vicious cycle you're in now,
- 5:09Speaker 1: And I'm asking everybody to get out of that cycle,
- 5:12Speaker 1: get out of looking for someone and something. The answer
- 5:15Speaker 1: is within you. God resides in you. That burning thing
- 5:20Speaker 1: that you have that you just can't get out your head.
- 5:23Speaker 1: That's a seed. God planet that there. That's a seed.
- 5:27Speaker 1: It needs watering, nurturing, fertilizing. That's what it needs. It
- 5:32Speaker 1: didn't it. Don't ever say, man, I need that other
- 5:34Speaker 1: person right there now. Now, people you will meet. That
- 5:37Speaker 1: a compliment you, and I can assure you that God
- 5:39Speaker 1: will put you in the right place at the right time.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm almost certain that God will introduce you to everybody
- 5:46Speaker 1: you need to be introduced to to make it to
- 5:49Speaker 1: wherever it is. You all are trying to get to
- 5:51Speaker 1: him talking about you and God now. But the moment
- 5:54Speaker 1: you're taken into your own hands and you make the
- 5:56Speaker 1: decision as to who you got to get to, You've
- 5:59Speaker 1: just clouded and muddied the waters. See God's plan for
- 6:03Speaker 1: you don't really need your help. It needs your attention,
- 6:09Speaker 1: It needs your focus, it needs your faith, and it
- 6:13Speaker 1: needs your hard work. But it needs you to listen.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Needs you to listen more than anything. Listen, keep the
- 6:21Speaker 1: faith and be willing to work your tail off. I
- 6:25Speaker 1: don't know how you think it can happen any other way,
- 6:28Speaker 1: But then again I do because I try to make
- 6:32Speaker 1: it another way. So I had to come to the conclusion,
- 6:36Speaker 1: Hey man, listen here, dog, this ain't working for you.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You gotta get some more God, here, man, listen to me.
- 6:43Speaker 1: The answer was always within me, the moment I sat
- 6:48Speaker 1: down with myself and told myself the truth that a
- 6:52Speaker 1: partner you ain't really all that they a partner, regardless
- 6:56Speaker 1: as to what people are seeing and stuff. You ain't happy.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Hey Pardner, this really ain't about you. Hey Pardner, you
- 7:04Speaker 1: really ain't all that good at this. God is keeping
- 7:08Speaker 1: you for a reason. Okay, hold up, Steve, quit tripping.
- 7:11Speaker 1: What I need to do. I just started talking to
- 7:14Speaker 1: myself and then I heard Bishop Jake's say a couple
- 7:17Speaker 1: of things. Then I was watching TV. I heard Joel
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oldstein say a couple of things, and I went wild, man, Okay, cool,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's pretty slick. I'm gonna try that. And when I
- 7:27Speaker 1: did it, it changed my life. I am telling you, man,
- 7:31Speaker 1: it has been God this whole time, and the God
- 7:34Speaker 1: has been residing inside on me, just like the God
- 7:38Speaker 1: resides on the inside of you. That's him talking to you,
- 7:41Speaker 1: telling you, man, you are to get it together. Man,
- 7:45Speaker 1: making you feel bad, it's sending you on guilt trips,
- 7:47Speaker 1: you knowing you wrong, and you out there wrong, and
- 7:50Speaker 1: something telling you you all not do it. Here's how
- 7:53Speaker 1: you know. It's God. And Bishop Olmer taught me this
- 7:56Speaker 1: in his book He's Got Oh, I get get a
- 8:00Speaker 1: name of it right now, But it's a really good book.
- 8:02Speaker 1: But it says in there man, Bishop Alma was talking
- 8:05Speaker 1: in this book and he was saying, the way you
- 8:08Speaker 1: know is not God's voice. It's if it ain't no
- 8:12Speaker 1: sin in it. See how many times have you made
- 8:17Speaker 1: up in your mind, I'm gonna show this person or
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna show that person, or I'm gonna get this
- 8:22Speaker 1: person back. You hurt me, I'm gonna hurt you. You
- 8:25Speaker 1: know the Lord don't like ugly. I'll show you well,
- 8:29Speaker 1: the Lord don't like ugly. But no way in that
- 8:31Speaker 1: doesn't safe for you to go show them. It doesn't
- 8:35Speaker 1: say that. See, so when you strike out on that mission,
- 8:39Speaker 1: you know the God knows in my heart I loved you,
- 8:42Speaker 1: but I got to do this because you did me.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Whoa whoa ain't got nothing to do with God right there,
- 8:47Speaker 1: you can take him out of it. If it's God,
- 8:50Speaker 1: has no sin in it. So anytime somebody come to
- 8:55Speaker 1: me talking about the Lord told me to do this
- 8:58Speaker 1: to you, and that's the only reason I'm doing. And
- 9:00Speaker 1: you need to get yourself right with God. I heard
- 9:02Speaker 1: all them threats right there. That ain't God talking to
- 9:05Speaker 1: me through you. What are you crazy? If it's God,
- 9:09Speaker 1: it has no sin in it. So you got to
- 9:11Speaker 1: be careful, man, when you're talking to people and we're
- 9:14Speaker 1: gonna go down here and we're gonna do this because
- 9:15Speaker 1: this is the right thing to do. If it has
- 9:18Speaker 1: something wrong going on, then it can't be the right
- 9:21Speaker 1: thing to do. Took me a minute to learn that one.
- 9:25Speaker 1: But please get that through your head so you can
- 9:28Speaker 1: quit spinning yourself around and remember everything you're looking for
- 9:33Speaker 1: is within you. It's all right there. Quit wasting your
- 9:37Speaker 1: time looking around all the time. Go to your God, man,
- 9:41Speaker 1: talk to him. Go to that spirit that's on the
- 9:44Speaker 1: inside of you that's calling you. Stop letting people shake
- 9:48Speaker 1: your treat At the end of the day, somebody gonna
- 9:50Speaker 1: be right, somebody gonna be wrong. All right, y'all, we're
- 9:53Speaker 1: gonna havel going day tripping a little bit going through something.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, Ladies and gentlemen, this is to Steve Harvey
- 10:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. Make no mistake about it. I think we've
- 10:08Speaker 1: passed the deadline of saying Happy New Year, but we
- 10:10Speaker 1: are still saying greetings to twenty twenty two and expecting
- 10:15Speaker 1: this year to be the best year of your life.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But you will have the best year of your life
- 10:20Speaker 1: if you put out the expectation. If you think it's
- 10:23Speaker 1: gonna be more of the same, get ready, because that's
- 10:26Speaker 1: exactly what's gonna happen. I'm expecting great things in twenty
- 10:29Speaker 1: twenty two. I invite you to do the same. Charley
- 10:32Speaker 1: Strawberry Colin for real, that girl named Mississippi, Monica Junior
- 10:36Speaker 1: better known as Killed Space, and the legend nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:41Speaker 1: What's on your mind? Let me ask you something, Nah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I need some help. Let me ask this, Huh. How
- 10:50Speaker 1: many unwritten rules is it in a relationship? And how
- 10:53Speaker 1: fast do they change? Well, there's not as that's some
- 10:59Speaker 1: unwritten rules in a relationship and they have never changed.
- 11:04Speaker 1: They just there's ad ons. And let me ask you
- 11:08Speaker 1: a question. Since you're the one that's new to this relationship.
- 11:11Speaker 1: That what have you learned that you think is an
- 11:14Speaker 1: unwritten rule? Shut your mouth, that's rule number one. Shut
- 11:21Speaker 1: joe mouth. But if you can't seem to understand that though, Junior,
- 11:26Speaker 1: because you keep talking about stuff that happens with us,
- 11:30Speaker 1: we can't help you. So because we have one of
- 11:34Speaker 1: those ourselves, we can't help you. Dog. Just shut joe
- 11:39Speaker 1: damn mouth. Appearing to be happy? Is that a rule?
- 11:44Speaker 1: You mean for her to appear to be happy now?
- 11:46Speaker 1: Or you have to appear to be happy? No, no,
- 11:49Speaker 1: your AS's better get to appearing to be happy. Let
- 11:52Speaker 1: let me give you a big one that you're not
- 11:54Speaker 1: gonna believe if you ever get into serious relationship and
- 11:58Speaker 1: you take when violes right after they say them viols.
- 12:04Speaker 1: They have some lines in there that they just say.
- 12:07Speaker 1: They don't. They ain't got nothing to do with what's
- 12:09Speaker 1: fitting to happen. It's just rich. It's just ritual. You
- 12:16Speaker 1: know here, here's one better off or worse. You just
- 12:19Speaker 1: better get to being better all day, because ain't nobody
- 12:24Speaker 1: to finished. Sit here with this worst mess too long.
- 12:27Speaker 1: You can have worse moments, but you're not finish it.
- 12:30Speaker 1: They just not finished. Sit there and watch you be worse.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I get past that. There's another one, obey. They need
- 12:39Speaker 1: to take that out. Some of them have. I don't.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I don't even know what that. Yeah, they might as
- 12:45Speaker 1: well take that out that I question it, hope for it.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I've I've hoped for obedience. Yeah, yeah, actually wasted a
- 13:03Speaker 1: couple of prayers. Only happening yet. Question But even when
- 13:09Speaker 1: I asked, God, could you make called bay heat chuckle?
- 13:14Speaker 1: All right, okay, coming coming coming up at thirty two
- 13:21Speaker 1: minutes after the hour with the nephews. Run that frank
- 13:23Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:28Speaker 1: All right, guys, we're gonna start the morning off with
- 13:30Speaker 1: the nephew and run that frank back. What you guy
- 13:32Speaker 1: for his nap. I'm gonna run it back and run
- 13:35Speaker 1: it back for you. Want me run it back? That's rewind.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna hit rewind and run it back for you.
- 13:38Speaker 1: This right here is your daughter, bit my son, your daughter,
- 13:43Speaker 1: bit my son. Let's run that thing back, cat though. Hello, hello, sweet,
- 13:50Speaker 1: this is look do you do you do your daughter
- 13:56Speaker 1: go to little academy? Yes? Who's this? And her name is? Yes?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Who's this? Listen? Your daughter and bit my son. Uh,
- 14:04Speaker 1: Joshua went on the back. My daughter know this is Wilton,
- 14:08Speaker 1: your daughter and bit my son. Well down, You can't
- 14:12Speaker 1: just call my house and tell me my daughter bit
- 14:14Speaker 1: your say and be cussing at me. Lady, I just said,
- 14:17Speaker 1: your daughter Sakia bit my son Joshua in the back,
- 14:20Speaker 1: and I just let no. I just said no. Two things.
- 14:23Speaker 1: One my daughter wouldn't bite nobody, and two, don't call
- 14:26Speaker 1: my house with this tone. I called with any kind
- 14:29Speaker 1: of tone. What I want to call with. All I'm
- 14:31Speaker 1: saying is your daughter then bit my son in the back,
- 14:34Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you. All I'm saying is don't
- 14:36Speaker 1: call my house with this ad to saying some that
- 14:40Speaker 1: my daughter beat your child in the back. My daughter
- 14:43Speaker 1: has manners and she wouldn't be biting nobody in the back.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You know, somebody, how the hell you know what your
- 14:49Speaker 1: daughter gonna be doing? If you ain't there my daughter,
- 14:52Speaker 1: you're raised, she ain't you just come in one month
- 14:57Speaker 1: and trying to do some kind of daddy work. Your
- 14:59Speaker 1: daughter but four years old, high nailed. Do you know
- 15:02Speaker 1: how that damn well, I've been with her for four years.
- 15:05Speaker 1: What you being my daughter does not be biting people
- 15:07Speaker 1: around in the back of the neck or anything like that.
- 15:10Speaker 1: What the hell is wrong with you? Don't call my
- 15:11Speaker 1: house with his attitude Where I get what? I don't hell,
- 15:15Speaker 1: you figure I'm a weekend daddy. I'm calling you about
- 15:17Speaker 1: what's going on with my child. But I don't think
- 15:20Speaker 1: you got your facts straight. So next time you call
- 15:23Speaker 1: somebody to tell them about their child, figure out everything
- 15:26Speaker 1: about your child first. All I'm saying is that the
- 15:28Speaker 1: people at the academy says, so, Carol bit my son
- 15:32Speaker 1: Joshua were in the back. Well, I can't understand what
- 15:34Speaker 1: you're saying because I don't like your tongue. So don't
- 15:36Speaker 1: call me about my baby. Have her mama called me?
- 15:41Speaker 1: It don't make no difference. If a mama or daddy
- 15:43Speaker 1: called long with somebody called hello, call her back down.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Hello is this Carol? This is Why are you hanging
- 15:50Speaker 1: up on me? Why are you still calling me? And
- 15:52Speaker 1: why are you yelling at me? My child didn't bite
- 15:56Speaker 1: your child in the back. When I picked up my child.
- 15:58Speaker 1: They didn't say to me your child is body in
- 16:00Speaker 1: the back. My child with my child every day. Like
- 16:03Speaker 1: I said in the first lady, you must be some
- 16:05Speaker 1: kind of weekend daddy. You know my child. I'm with
- 16:08Speaker 1: my child every day. How you are you? I'm with
- 16:12Speaker 1: my I don't even know who Joshua is. She should
- 16:15Speaker 1: have just hit him in the head. Ain't what you
- 16:17Speaker 1: ain't gonna do and sit there and talk about my
- 16:18Speaker 1: baby like you asked me to lower my child. I
- 16:20Speaker 1: know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna hang up one
- 16:24Speaker 1: lay hello, Hello, called back, then call her back, cat Hello,
- 16:33Speaker 1: don't hang up on me no more, lady, numbna again.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna call you until you tell me why you
- 16:39Speaker 1: your child is just bite my child in the back.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I am not in the mood to play with you
- 16:44Speaker 1: right now. You're gonna mess try to get you and
- 16:46Speaker 1: your child, swoop you and your child. You don't guess
- 16:51Speaker 1: what Shakira got her, daddy? You talking about whipping somebody?
- 16:55Speaker 1: Daddy else to say? You can't call my house and
- 16:58Speaker 1: threaten me, Emma jod If my child beat up child,
- 17:02Speaker 1: what that's what your child deserved? He got whooped daughter,
- 17:06Speaker 1: whooped your fund. Just finally want me to laught trying
- 17:09Speaker 1: the little fast not in those kids you're gonna be
- 17:12Speaker 1: talking about when the fake facts. She didn't bite them
- 17:16Speaker 1: in the back. She might have whoked, but my daughter
- 17:18Speaker 1: don't play. Now keep talking. You found my phone number,
- 17:24Speaker 1: find my address and have some kids. Daddy, beat choke
- 17:28Speaker 1: you what I said? Bring your phone over again, my babies,
- 17:32Speaker 1: famire with your babies. My baby. Daddy gonna whip you'll
- 17:36Speaker 1: bring it on. I'm coming over there and beat you
- 17:38Speaker 1: and your child for daddy. You don't call a woman
- 17:41Speaker 1: and telling you coming over and behind child. You come
- 17:43Speaker 1: up here and beat her. Daddy, Come over here and
- 17:46Speaker 1: beat your kids. Daddy, he don't he don't want not

- 18:05Speaker 1: Do you know you know what I'm gonna tell you something.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell me something else. You're gonna get bit
- 18:11Speaker 1: and your baby gonna get bit too. You gonna bite
- 18:13Speaker 1: me and my baby gonna whoop? Yo? Can I say
- 18:17Speaker 1: something to you? Say something to me? Then, nephew timing
- 18:20Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvard Morning Show. You just got prig you. Oh,

- 18:38Speaker 1: She said give me. She said you always time and
- 18:41Speaker 1: never give me that. Oh. I told that wouldn't happen
- 18:45Speaker 1: to me. But you can't call somebody talk about that, baby.
- 18:54Speaker 1: That's that's where I killman. Don't don't call nobody about it.

- 21:35Speaker 1: and the father told me he missed how good my
- 21:38Speaker 1: body felt. See, we used to fool around years ago,
- 21:42Speaker 1: but we're both married now. I pulled into the parking
- 21:45Speaker 1: lot and I refreshed his memory right there on the
- 21:48Speaker 1: back of the bus. Cool. He said he was going

- 22:50Speaker 1: He didn't even want to keep it in touch. Who

- 23:09Speaker 1: don't be Shane, Yeah, you spring up everything. Come on,
- 23:20Speaker 1: he said, Greyhound crossover. Talk about that Mega, that megabus.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I ain't never been on that. I had already made
- 23:32Speaker 1: it by the here, but you would have no all right,
- 23:39Speaker 1: jamir And Dayton says, I'm in my mid fifties. I've
- 23:41Speaker 1: been dating a woman that is twenty two years old,
- 23:44Speaker 1: twenty two years younger than I am. I pay her
- 23:47Speaker 1: mortgage and she drives one of my cars. She has
- 23:50Speaker 1: a seven year old child that I've given her a
- 23:52Speaker 1: lot of financial help with her son's father comes in
- 23:55Speaker 1: and out of his life, and she doesn't want me
- 23:57Speaker 1: to be at the house when he's there. I told
- 23:59Speaker 1: her that's my house, and she got upset. Am I
- 24:02Speaker 1: wrong about that? Yeah? Yo? See, bro, once you give
- 24:09Speaker 1: the money and she returns the money with the favors,
- 24:14Speaker 1: that's the exchange. Now, she don't want you over to
- 24:18Speaker 1: the house when the when the boy's father come over,
- 24:21Speaker 1: she don't because she don't want him to know that.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You know, she dating somebody to daging her daddy, so
- 24:32Speaker 1: she don't want nobody to know that. So yeah, no,
- 24:34Speaker 1: that ain't That ain't your house. Unless you bought the
- 24:37Speaker 1: house and paying for it and got your name on it,
- 24:40Speaker 1: that's you know. But if you're just helping out, bro side,
- 24:43Speaker 1: it's not your house. See dog, listen, know your role,
- 24:47Speaker 1: sugar daddy, that's your role. You the sugar daddy. That's
- 24:52Speaker 1: your role. Dog. You ain't really her man. You You
- 24:59Speaker 1: put together a smile a package. That's all that is.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You're the sugar daddy. You're not her man. Next question,
- 25:08Speaker 1: all right here, Pam in Brooklyn says, I dated a
- 25:12Speaker 1: man for three years and we broke up last month
- 25:15Speaker 1: for good. He got close to my best friend and
- 25:18Speaker 1: he turned to her for advice when he and I
- 25:20Speaker 1: had problems. She seemed to smirk when I told her
- 25:23Speaker 1: about my breakup. She's the type that will sleep with
- 25:26Speaker 1: anyone's man, and I don't put anything past him because
- 25:30Speaker 1: he's hyper sexual. What are the odds that he's messing
- 25:34Speaker 1: with her? Now? On next question to Semya and and
- 25:50Speaker 1: what a friend a best friend? Okay, Semya and Tulsa
- 25:55Speaker 1: writes that I had an aunt problem, so I asked
- 25:58Speaker 1: my cousin's husband to spray my house house. I'm divorced,
- 26:01Speaker 1: so he's helped me out before with odd jobs around
- 26:04Speaker 1: my house. I left a housekeep for him, and when
- 26:06Speaker 1: I got home, he was laid up in my bed asleep.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I told my cousin to come get her man out
- 26:12Speaker 1: of my bed. I guess that didn't sound right, so
- 26:15Speaker 1: she thinks we're messing around? What do I do? You're
- 26:19Speaker 1: so stupid? You called? You call your cousin, whose husband
- 26:27Speaker 1: been coming over your house helping you do repairs. You
- 26:31Speaker 1: went out somewhere, came back, he laying across your bed sleep.
- 26:35Speaker 1: You call your cousin who is your female cousin, to
- 26:39Speaker 1: tell her to come get her man out your bed.
- 26:44Speaker 1: And now you're tripping cause she think y'all been messing
- 26:46Speaker 1: around together. Why did you call her? Thank you? Thank you.
- 26:51Speaker 1: If you and the man ain't sleeping together, all you
- 26:53Speaker 1: had to do was wake him up. Yeah, excuse me,
- 26:57Speaker 1: excuse me, what are you doing? Don't do that no more.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to tell my cousin. You could have
- 27:04Speaker 1: started that. You call her in her bed. He didn't
- 27:13Speaker 1: got under the covers, He wasn't on the bed. He
- 27:15Speaker 1: didn't got into the bed. He took his shoes. See,
- 27:18Speaker 1: he thought he thought you was coming home earlier. He
- 27:21Speaker 1: thought you was coming home early, and he was gonna
- 27:24Speaker 1: wait and have a surprise. But his ass got sleepy. Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: rule number one. If you're gonna wait on the girl
- 27:35Speaker 1: at her house, sit up, sick up. If you lay
- 27:41Speaker 1: across the bed, you got problem. But if you get
- 27:43Speaker 1: in that bed, though, oh you go. He was ready though,
- 27:47Speaker 1: he was ready for Yeah, they got pillars and beads
- 27:53Speaker 1: and cents and fabrics on their bed. You ain't got it.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Get real comfortable. It ain't like your bed man bed
- 28:01Speaker 1: just got one pillow on it and there ain't no
- 28:03Speaker 1: sheet between the confident of dudes. How just just blanket? Yeah, yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 1: that's roughing it. You got that blanket that you y'all
- 28:14Speaker 1: still got from when the tornado came through. You know
- 28:16Speaker 1: that red Cross blanket, that real thick and scraps. That's
- 28:21Speaker 1: the one. Yeah, that's the Red Cross blanket. Man. I
- 28:24Speaker 1: had one. I know you passing the blankets out with
- 28:31Speaker 1: the peanut button and the powdered eggs. Thank you. See
- 28:38Speaker 1: that was my blanket. I hated that blanket. Man. Coming
- 28:41Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 28:43Speaker 1: entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening to
- 28:47Speaker 1: show well. For the second day, Cardie B celebrated a
- 28:53Speaker 1: victory in court. The jury sided with her in a
- 28:57Speaker 1: libel case against a vindictive blogger. The verdict awarded Carti
- 29:00Speaker 1: one and a half million. Then on Tuesday, the judge
- 29:03Speaker 1: granted her one and a half million impunitive damages and
- 29:06Speaker 1: another one point three million to pay attorney's fees. Altogether,
- 29:11Speaker 1: the judge ordered YouTube blogger Tasha Ka to pay three
- 29:14Speaker 1: point eight million dollars. She was found guilty of spreading
- 29:19Speaker 1: malicious lies about Carti's sexual history, drug use, and the
- 29:23Speaker 1: mental capacity gets this of Carti's first child. Cardi released
- 29:28Speaker 1: a statement saying, after almost four years of repeated liabel
- 29:33Speaker 1: and slander against me, walking away Victoria's brings me great happiness.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I think that's a step in the right direction the
- 29:43Speaker 1: Cardi b case, because I think, man, it could be
- 29:47Speaker 1: the beginning of stopping some of this stuff that these
- 29:50Speaker 1: bloggers and people are allowed to get away with. These
- 29:53Speaker 1: are human beings that you're talking about. You know, you
- 29:56Speaker 1: think called a person's celebrity, you got free to just
- 29:58Speaker 1: use them as clickbait. Well you could just want somebody
- 30:01Speaker 1: just on your site, so you're gonna use them as clickbait,
- 30:04Speaker 1: and and you damage people and people. I'm so sick
- 30:07Speaker 1: of social media just using people for clickbait. You know,
- 30:11Speaker 1: just writing malicious stories just could go in the right direction, man,
- 30:14Speaker 1: because now it's gonna make people pause when you find
- 30:18Speaker 1: out that could be some repercussions. That's gonna cause some
- 30:21Speaker 1: people to pause. Yeah, Cardi B Cardi, Yeah, congratulate. I'm
- 30:30Speaker 1: real happy for her. Yeah, congratulations. Somebody talk about me
- 30:33Speaker 1: and ain't true snatch call money. I don't even know.
- 30:39Speaker 1: You can't have that kind of money, right, all right,
- 30:45Speaker 1: I don't have to have that kind of money. Whatever
- 30:48Speaker 1: she got, she gonna had to pay something. Yeah, I'll
- 30:51Speaker 1: have to pay something. Yeah, all right, And moving on
- 30:55Speaker 1: to other entertainment news. Actor Peter Peter Dinklage, best known
- 30:58Speaker 1: as Terry and Lanister from one of our favorite shows
- 31:01Speaker 1: of all times, Game of Thrones, isn't happy, little person?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yes, yes, go ahead, go ahead, No you
- 31:12Speaker 1: get no, no, stay in stayan sorry. Yeah, He's not
- 31:16Speaker 1: happy with Disney's upcoming remake of Snow White and the
- 31:19Speaker 1: Seven Dwarfs. On a recent podcast, Peter Dinklage said, there's
- 31:25Speaker 1: a lot of hypocrisy going on. Seven dwarfs living in
- 31:29Speaker 1: a cave together. What the blank are you doing? Man,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I'm angry about the stereotypes of dwarfism that are still perpetuated.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And that's what he said. Now, this is what Disney said.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Steve Disney responded to him. They released a statement saying,
- 31:46Speaker 1: to avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original nineteen thirty seven
- 31:50Speaker 1: animated film, we are taking a different approach with these
- 31:54Speaker 1: seven characters. We've been consulting with members of the Dwarf
- 32:00Speaker 1: is a community. So that's what Disney said. You know,
- 32:04Speaker 1: it's it's it's an animated fairy tale, and it happened.
- 32:09Speaker 1: You know. Here here we go, we with part of
- 32:11Speaker 1: the council culture. Now now everything in me has to
- 32:15Speaker 1: being filed. This one's not gonna be animated. So this
- 32:18Speaker 1: is this is this is real. It's real, little people.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Uh huh, that's what they don't see what they could do. Then,
- 32:29Speaker 1: I don't even know why they messed with that. Then
- 32:31Speaker 1: they should have left that alone. Yeah, once you make
- 32:34Speaker 1: it real, you turn up the volume. Yeah. So Tommy,
- 32:39Speaker 1: what what what's your thoughts? I mean, why are you
- 32:46Speaker 1: asking me? Because you the actor on the show. I'm
- 32:51Speaker 1: with Peter. If Peter don't it, Peter is ahead of
- 32:54Speaker 1: little people. I know what side you on. That's why
- 32:57Speaker 1: I asked thought on the side I don't know where
- 33:06Speaker 1: Peter said what the blank to? We should move on,
- 33:10Speaker 1: Let's get past it. Let's move on. It's a it's
- 33:13Speaker 1: a whole lot of other stories we can tell. We
- 33:15Speaker 1: don't have to tell the snow White and seven Doors.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It's not that necessary. It's got to be some better
- 33:20Speaker 1: stories that can be written other than this, not that
- 33:22Speaker 1: that summer I went this one. But let's keep moving.
- 33:24Speaker 1: We were back, We're in twenty twenty two. I'm like,
- 33:26Speaker 1: I understand, Like, look, if they had, if they were
- 33:28Speaker 1: doing all you know, snow white and seven big little people,
- 33:33Speaker 1: you know, I'd be concerned about this at this point.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Now you just you would be in it. Yeah, well
- 33:40Speaker 1: you're gonna well, guess who's gonna be in the door.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I'm just gonna take a shot. I wouldn't gonna say it,
- 33:49Speaker 1: but I do know where you cast to be on
- 33:51Speaker 1: his side this opportunity. I have seen me and Peter
- 33:56Speaker 1: get together riding on a dragon from the last show.
- 33:58Speaker 1: That what We're riding there on a drag. Yeah, but
- 34:02Speaker 1: on the same drag. I have my own drag. That's no, No,
- 34:09Speaker 1: that would really be cute. Y'all come in on the
- 34:11Speaker 1: same drag, moving on that to be cute. Janet Jackson,
- 34:19Speaker 1: let's get to this story. Janet Jackson said her brother
- 34:21Speaker 1: was a bully. She said he made her miserable with
- 34:24Speaker 1: cruel taunts about her weight. Janet makes a revelation about
- 34:27Speaker 1: her childhood in the documentary Janet, which premieres Friday and
- 34:30Speaker 1: Lifetime and what she says. There were times, well, she says,
- 34:35Speaker 1: there were times when Michael used to tease her, call
- 34:37Speaker 1: her names pig, horse, slut or hog cow. He would
- 34:41Speaker 1: laugh about it. She said she'd laughed too, but then
- 34:43Speaker 1: there was somewhere down inside that it would hurt. She says,
- 34:47Speaker 1: she's an emotional eater, so when she gets stressed or
- 34:50Speaker 1: something that's really bothering her, Wood comforts her. Bottomed out, dude.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Things bottomed out when she was eleven and got her
- 34:59Speaker 1: first brig big break outside the family. You know, of course,
- 35:02Speaker 1: the role is Penny one good time. Yeah, my brothers
- 35:05Speaker 1: and done something to me. Man, My damn brother called
- 35:10Speaker 1: me fat. That's it. I wish it had a bit,
- 35:13Speaker 1: my aunt, the things he did to me, huh, I
- 35:17Speaker 1: wish it all? What all right? Lifestory we ought to
- 35:21Speaker 1: do Tommy life stid at that time. I pushed him
- 35:23Speaker 1: down them steps. That's like that cruel Steve coming up
- 35:27Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after the hour, we're gonna talk about retirement.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 35:36Speaker 1: Tom Brady, of course, we call him the goat Tom
- 35:38Speaker 1: Brady is talking about retirement now, guys, and after sixteen
- 35:42Speaker 1: years in New Orleans, Saints head coach Sean Payton has
- 35:45Speaker 1: also decided to step away. The fifty eight year old,
- 35:48Speaker 1: who is the winningest coach in the franchise history and
- 35:52Speaker 1: led the team to his first Super Bowl win back
- 35:54Speaker 1: in two thousand and nine, is leaving the job and
- 35:56Speaker 1: retiring for now. I mean, these two are thinking and
- 36:00Speaker 1: doing retirement. So Steve, the question for you is do
- 36:04Speaker 1: you know when it's time to bow out gracefully? I
- 36:06Speaker 1: don't think you're even anywhere near retirement because you're still
- 36:10Speaker 1: loving what you do. I mean, look, I mean I've
- 36:12Speaker 1: done it before. You know, I stepped away from stand up. Yeah.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I do have a real idea of, you know, stepping
- 36:23Speaker 1: away or when I think some sum's the right time
- 36:26Speaker 1: to walk away from something. As far as now, I
- 36:29Speaker 1: don't have any plans of retirement in the foreseeable future.
- 36:33Speaker 1: The thing about my work is I like my work,
- 36:36Speaker 1: so it's kind of hard. You know. Ain't like I'm outside,
- 36:40Speaker 1: you know, putting tarm bridges like I used to, or
- 36:43Speaker 1: working at Ford Motor Company on assembly line or something
- 36:46Speaker 1: like that. You know, I actually enjoy going to work,
- 36:50Speaker 1: getting hit every place that's different. Yeah, you know, so
- 36:53Speaker 1: I actually enjoy my work, So I don't really know
- 36:57Speaker 1: that I'll be leaving any time. I'm soon you know,
- 37:01Speaker 1: they start cutting pay, I'm gonna get out the start
- 37:06Speaker 1: cutting money back, start cutting money talk about something else.
- 37:10Speaker 1: But you know, as a person who's been in the
- 37:13Speaker 1: business quite a long time, and you now have another
- 37:16Speaker 1: hit show with Judge Steve on Tuesday nights and ABC
- 37:19Speaker 1: and Hulu, who hard to get out? Now? Yeah, talk
- 37:24Speaker 1: about it. But but the thing, you know, the saying leave,
- 37:28Speaker 1: leave while you're on top top, do you think about
- 37:31Speaker 1: that as well? Yeah? Absolutely, absolutely, That's the only way
- 37:35Speaker 1: I leave. Okay, I prayed that's how I leave on top,
- 37:40Speaker 1: you know. But like I mean, it's such a blessed
- 37:43Speaker 1: man because the other thing of it is is, uh,
- 37:48Speaker 1: I've been very fortunate and giving a lot of grace
- 37:52Speaker 1: in my life to be able to constantly reinvent myself.
- 37:56Speaker 1: So I always feel like I'm doing something new. You know,
- 37:58Speaker 1: it's hard to get tired when you doing something new.
- 38:01Speaker 1: You know. We we've been doing this radio show together
- 38:03Speaker 1: Shirley for twenty two years now. Yeah, But because it's
- 38:08Speaker 1: different every day. Jerry is different. Yes, I mean like
- 38:14Speaker 1: coming in here, man, I don't know what's fitting to happen.
- 38:16Speaker 1: You know, it's like cool way to work, you know.
- 38:18Speaker 1: And you know we don't turn with you no idea,
- 38:24Speaker 1: I say, we have no idea what you're gonna do? No,
- 38:26Speaker 1: we have no idea. And that's the refreshing thing about
- 38:29Speaker 1: it exactly. You know, you never know what I'm gonna say.
- 38:32Speaker 1: You know, I'm predicted, like I'm thinking of something real
- 38:35Speaker 1: crazy right now to say. But I and I decided.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Look at the time coming up at thirty four minutes
- 38:41Speaker 1: after the hour, we're gonna check your voicemail Steed eight

- 40:00Speaker 1: through there on your bike. You need to know somebody. Okay, Lord,
- 40:04Speaker 1: don't have a flat tie over there. Lord you've been there.
- 40:11Speaker 1: You're going hold with ass whooping and no bike. That
- 40:19Speaker 1: was love. Appreciate that. Yeah, Next caller, Uh, Miss Carolyn,
- 40:25Speaker 1: about haters as well about your clothing remark staves this
- 40:29Speaker 1: Carolin listening, forget about those haters. I got a lot
- 40:34Speaker 1: of them. They don't like me because I dress, I
- 40:39Speaker 1: make myself up. I'm seventy four years old and I
- 40:43Speaker 1: tried my best and hook good twenty fold step. But
- 40:46Speaker 1: when you died haters that keeps telling you that you're
- 40:50Speaker 1: not good enough or you can't do this. That owning
- 40:53Speaker 1: makes me good, even better. And that's what you have,
- 40:57Speaker 1: died keepers. The good words words about that they made
- 41:00Speaker 1: you back. I'm talking about your closing remarks. It wasn't
- 41:06Speaker 1: last week when you talked about haters, how they've made
- 41:09Speaker 1: you stronger. Yeah. Man, you know I was saying the
- 41:13Speaker 1: other day. It is one of my favorite closing remarks.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Mind you, it's one of my favorite because you know,
- 41:20Speaker 1: after turning sixty five, I've learned so much. But I've
- 41:24Speaker 1: been around the sun sixty five times that that's a
- 41:28Speaker 1: lot of trips, and I've learned a lot. And it
- 41:31Speaker 1: took me a minute to learn about them haters. But
- 41:34Speaker 1: after I figured it out and saw the purpose that
- 41:38Speaker 1: they served in your life, why you have to have them?
- 41:44Speaker 1: And Bishop Jake said something about haters the other day.
- 41:46Speaker 1: I was watching him on Instagram. He said, you only
- 41:50Speaker 1: have haters cause you winning. You don't get haters when
- 41:55Speaker 1: you're losing. You don't get haters when you ain't doing nothing.
- 41:59Speaker 1: You get them with you win it. Yeah, because they
- 42:03Speaker 1: mad as you and it ain't them. That's right. All right?
- 42:07Speaker 1: We have one more call from Welcome, West Virginia, someplace
- 42:11Speaker 1: you knew what shut up? You better shut up. I
- 42:16Speaker 1: know you ain't. Got a call from Welch, West Virginia.

- 43:08Speaker 1: on the thousand people. Nothing like that. It's small. If
- 43:13Speaker 1: if her mother will feel your hairs is one hundred
- 43:16Speaker 1: years old. I promise you she know my mom and
- 43:20Speaker 1: daddy and that whole linkage down there. So happy birthday,
- 43:24Speaker 1: miss Oi, feel your hairs. Slick Harvey better known as Jesse,
- 43:28Speaker 1: better known as Slick and it lost very hardy. They said,
- 43:33Speaker 1: have birthday too. Hollow number one, Hollow number nine. What
- 43:40Speaker 1: coming up next? Coming up next to it is a
- 43:42Speaker 1: nephew and today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're
- 43:45Speaker 1: listening Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of
- 43:50Speaker 1: the hour. Right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 43:53Speaker 1: letter for today and the subject is this cannot be
- 43:57Speaker 1: my life. We'll get into that just a bit, but
- 44:01Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here with today's praying phone call.
- 44:04Speaker 1: What you got for us, Nash? I got repoll Man.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Repole Man, you've been at the photo. You came out
- 44:11Speaker 1: side and it was gone, Let's go god dog. Repoll Man. Hello,
- 44:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach age please this hill. All right, y'all.
- 44:21Speaker 1: My name is uh Robert. I'm with the collection agency
- 44:25Speaker 1: you do on a Sierra two thousand and three GMC truck,
- 44:28Speaker 1: Am I correct, yep? Okay, we don't show that we've
- 44:32Speaker 1: had any payments within the last I guess about three
- 44:35Speaker 1: close to four months now, and we want to try
- 44:38Speaker 1: and stop having to come in and repossess it. Maybe
- 44:40Speaker 1: we give you a chance to bring your payment in,
- 44:42Speaker 1: but we haven't had a payment from you in about
- 44:44Speaker 1: four months, siRNA. Financial with the other another thing, I
- 44:50Speaker 1: don't don't. I don't know what's in the moment. Yeah,
- 44:52Speaker 1: I'm a playing all time directed party from our call,
- 44:55Speaker 1: we're about that. Well, I'm with they've they've turned you
- 44:58Speaker 1: over to us. I'm with collection agency, and we haven't
- 45:02Speaker 1: gotten anything from don't. I don't show any uh any
- 45:05Speaker 1: paperwork here on the computer at all that we've had
- 45:08Speaker 1: any payments made within the last four months. So that's
- 45:10Speaker 1: why they've been paying it already turned it over to
- 45:13Speaker 1: y'all without my permission. They can't never turn tis my
- 45:16Speaker 1: truck over to y'all. To pick y'all. I don't even
- 45:18Speaker 1: know it. Well, I understand that. Sure. What happens is
- 45:20Speaker 1: if you haven't paid it in a certain amount of time,
- 45:22Speaker 1: it actually comes over to the collection agency. And that's
- 45:24Speaker 1: what they've done. They've actually sent it over to us,
- 45:27Speaker 1: and they've given us, uh pretty much all the information
- 45:29Speaker 1: on you. I guess it's a gold this type of
- 45:32Speaker 1: color uh CR two thousand and three GMC truck from
- 45:35Speaker 1: my understanding, Am I correct? Yeah, that's truck. Okay. Now,
- 45:38Speaker 1: what I'm gonna need from you today, Jeremy, is for
- 45:41Speaker 1: you to come in uh and make a payment to
- 45:43Speaker 1: us this evening for four months so we can see
- 45:46Speaker 1: so we don't have to come in and repossess your truck.
- 45:48Speaker 1: And I don't want to have to do that. But
- 45:49Speaker 1: if I have to send a record out there to you,
- 45:52Speaker 1: I have your address on file as well. I don't
- 45:53Speaker 1: want to have to send anybody out to pick it up.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Paris learning y'all not coming here my truck. And I'm
- 45:59Speaker 1: not paying y'all for no full month. I'm paying my
- 46:02Speaker 1: truck no all time, every month. That's a done deal, sir.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I don't want to get in a back and forth
- 46:07Speaker 1: with you, but I'm telling you exactly how it's gonna go. Now.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I come out there and repossess it myself, but I'm
- 46:12Speaker 1: telling you what the fight. Look slow, no, look that's
- 46:15Speaker 1: not that's not even where we gotta go with that.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Don't be you don't need to be screaming and fussing
- 46:19Speaker 1: and chaotic and come get it yourself and all that
- 46:21Speaker 1: stuffy M truck, M truck that's gonna be that? What
- 46:26Speaker 1: hang on, Let's back up, because I'm a man just
- 46:28Speaker 1: like here, man, what do you mean it's gonna that's
- 46:29Speaker 1: gonna be that? What are you saying? What are you?
- 46:31Speaker 1: What are you? What are you saying to me? Son?
- 46:33Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Look, look, I'm telling you that I'm
- 46:37Speaker 1: paying my truck note and and that's a fun I
- 46:39Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know. Let's get I've already stated
- 46:42Speaker 1: to you before. I'm with an agency. And let's get
- 46:45Speaker 1: one thing straight. You don't tell me I tell you now. Hey, Hey, dude,
- 46:50Speaker 1: calm down a lot of foul. It don't make no
- 46:52Speaker 1: sense talming, you know, over the fall and whatnot. You

- 46:57Speaker 1: right here I work. I'm right here, you can come.
- 46:59Speaker 1: You can come. True how to get my truck? Sure,
- 47:02Speaker 1: I'm already aware of where you work in the whole
- 47:04Speaker 1: nine yards. Now, I don't I'm trying to be as
- 47:07Speaker 1: uh cordial with you as I can. Now you can
- 47:10Speaker 1: cloth you're ting about Conna, get my truckle and I'll

- 47:16Speaker 1: with somebody else, check with somebody else to make sure
- 47:19Speaker 1: I'm right. It didn't call me batter. I'm telling you
- 47:21Speaker 1: you haven't paid anything, That's what I'm telling you. I've
- 47:24Speaker 1: got it listed on the computer. You've been turned over
- 47:27Speaker 1: an agency and you haven't done it. You haven't done
- 47:30Speaker 1: a thing. What are you? Stupid? You? You you're raising
- 47:33Speaker 1: your press scream in the hall over the phone like
- 47:35Speaker 1: that because they ain't gonna do me me? Are you
- 47:37Speaker 1: no good? But you ain't get no money from me?
- 47:39Speaker 1: Then you ain't coming from my truck? What a matter
- 47:41Speaker 1: of fact, you could come from my truck. I'm gonna
- 47:44Speaker 1: be on my truck. I'm gonna wait on you. What
- 47:46Speaker 1: you gonna be there? It doesn't make any difference, sir.
- 47:48Speaker 1: You gotta get repossessed tonight. If I don't get four
- 47:50Speaker 1: months payment Brook, definitely, if I don't get four months
- 47:53Speaker 1: payment brought into me collection agency, your truck will be
- 47:57Speaker 1: taken care of. No hold on listen, man. Look you

- 48:20Speaker 1: I'm ready to come kick your That's what I'm ready
- 48:22Speaker 1: to do. Call him back, Kay, I don't need a

- 49:19Speaker 1: me about job I'm trying to get. She told me,
- 49:23Speaker 1: she told me, man, she said that boy loved that truck. Yeah,
- 49:28Speaker 1: that's my choice. My only repetation, man ain't man, Yeah, yeah,
- 49:36Speaker 1: you gotta, but you gotta be goody. I gotta ask,

- 50:04Speaker 1: was a tea spoon. It might have been two tea spoons.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Wasn't no more than too, wasn't no motive too. It's
- 50:11Speaker 1: a little the small dosage of the stupid. The big
- 50:14Speaker 1: doses comes when I hit the stage grabbing that microphone.
- 50:17Speaker 1: That would be in Huntsville. That would be February, Huntsville, Alabama, actually,
- 50:20Speaker 1: and that would be February ten, eleven, twelve, February tenth.
- 50:24Speaker 1: My son, your birthday, boys coming up trade the third.
- 50:28Speaker 1: That's my man. Okay, what else I got anything else?
- 50:32Speaker 1: I need to sell? Everybody? Ready to Love? Ready to Love?
- 50:35Speaker 1: Friday night, Baby, It's a brand new season in Washington, DC.
- 50:39Speaker 1: One more gain so that's two in Atlanta. That's two
- 50:43Speaker 1: seasons in Houston, Texas. Two seasons Washington, DC. What could
- 50:47Speaker 1: possibly be be out the DC. I'll let you know soon.
- 50:50Speaker 1: But right now, this Friday, get ready, we're watching DC
- 50:53Speaker 1: brand new season hosted by yours truly nephew Tommy. That's
- 50:56Speaker 1: Friday Night nine, eighth Central. Did you hear me? Now?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Eighth Central the Nephew. I'm I'm couldn't pretty much the
- 51:02Speaker 1: loved doctor. I'm sexy. I got some sense on Swab.
- 51:07Speaker 1: I'm helping people. Oh my god, you ought to see me.
- 51:10Speaker 1: I can't believe myself sometime when I look at it.
- 51:12Speaker 1: But that's me, you Swab. I ain't used that in
- 51:18Speaker 1: a while. Suave devil man Old you know, I'm you
- 51:25Speaker 1: know what I'm trying to. You know, I'm trying to,
- 51:27Speaker 1: you know, being supportive of you brought everything because you
- 51:30Speaker 1: know hard. It's hard hearing you say these things about yourself.
- 51:37Speaker 1: What I'm not lying about? Nothing? But what's wrong? Really?
- 51:41Speaker 1: When I know better? It's the other word star with
- 51:46Speaker 1: ask that could start with the truth, you know, like
- 51:49Speaker 1: in this format Ready for Love, I find myself for
- 51:53Speaker 1: the first time not being short. I'm swag. Oh, I
- 51:59Speaker 1: find myself I said, not not being short all swage.
- 52:09Speaker 1: That's how you promoted You don't promote it with short.
- 52:11Speaker 1: You don't do that. See you don't think so I
- 52:16Speaker 1: find it refreshing that there are those people who couldn't
- 52:20Speaker 1: sit on my me being short sexy. You know, it's
- 52:24Speaker 1: a way to put that word in that where it
- 52:26Speaker 1: has me and I don't like that. See how hard
- 52:31Speaker 1: that is if you as a woman, Decker, there's a
- 52:34Speaker 1: lot of short and sexy women. Ain't no short sexy
- 52:37Speaker 1: men though, hard to be a short sexy man, I'm

- 53:21Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're going
- 53:24Speaker 1: to read this one right here, right now. You never know,
- 53:28Speaker 1: You never know. Buckle up, hold on tight. We got
- 53:30Speaker 1: it for you here. It is a strawberry letter subject
- 53:34Speaker 1: this cannot be my life. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 53:38Speaker 1: thirty five year old female with a cute face and
- 53:41Speaker 1: a small waist. I haven't had any trouble meeting men,
- 53:45Speaker 1: but I've had trouble keeping a man. That's all behind
- 53:48Speaker 1: me now because I'm seeing a man that caters to me,
- 53:51Speaker 1: respects me, and will do anything he needs to do
- 53:55Speaker 1: to put a smile on my face. He thinks ahead
- 53:58Speaker 1: and is a great planner. We've been dating almost a
- 54:02Speaker 1: year and he wants to go on an anniversary trip,
- 54:05Speaker 1: so I think he might be ready to propose. I
- 54:08Speaker 1: got rid of all my exes and I changed my
- 54:10Speaker 1: life around to make sure my past is in the past.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I stopped hanging out and I stopped posting suggestive pictures
- 54:19Speaker 1: on social media because I wanted to have a queenlike
- 54:22Speaker 1: behavior for my king. Our first date was at his
- 54:26Speaker 1: house and we had grill steaks, a lot of wine,
- 54:29Speaker 1: and a lot of great conversation. He told me up
- 54:33Speaker 1: front that he wants to be married, but he wants
- 54:36Speaker 1: the option to have more than one woman in his
- 54:40Speaker 1: life if it's okay with his wife. I love women too,
- 54:44Speaker 1: so we have that in common. Throughout our relationship, We've
- 54:49Speaker 1: had six different girls in our bed. I submit to
- 54:53Speaker 1: him in bed and do whatever he tells me to do,
- 54:57Speaker 1: and it drives him wild. We've been, huh, we've been.
- 55:05Speaker 1: We've been to counseling together because his last girlfriend got
- 55:08Speaker 1: jealous and flipped out on him, so he thought it
- 55:11Speaker 1: would help me. Here's my problem though. My mother and
- 55:15Speaker 1: I are very close, so she is aware of what's
- 55:18Speaker 1: going on in my relationship. She doesn't condone it, and
- 55:22Speaker 1: she told me if my boyfriend proposals, she will be
- 55:25Speaker 1: out of my life for good. I told her, I
- 55:28Speaker 1: cannot believe this is my life with such a handsome,
- 55:32Speaker 1: caring and open man. I may never find another man
- 55:35Speaker 1: that I'm this compatible with. Why is my mother being
- 55:39Speaker 1: so judgmental and why is she forcing me to make
- 55:42Speaker 1: a choice. Well, I don't think she is. But if
- 55:46Speaker 1: your mother is forcing you to make a choice, as
- 55:49Speaker 1: you say in the letter, she wants you to choose
- 55:52Speaker 1: you in this instance. She doesn't want you to marry
- 55:54Speaker 1: a man who wants other women. Your mom doesn't want
- 55:58Speaker 1: her beautiful daughter having three sons and being some man's
- 56:02Speaker 1: sex slave. That that's just how a parent thinks. That's
- 56:05Speaker 1: that's just a parent. I mean, do you honestly think
- 56:08Speaker 1: this is the way to keep a man? Now? Does
- 56:12Speaker 1: your mom wants you to be happy and live your
- 56:14Speaker 1: life and all of that? Of course she does, yes,
- 56:17Speaker 1: But she wants you to be your own woman on
- 56:19Speaker 1: your own terms, not because that's what this man wants.
- 56:23Speaker 1: You say you like women too, right, But can you
- 56:26Speaker 1: spend time with them alone? Can you? You know? And
- 56:29Speaker 1: not with him and all of that. I highly doubt
- 56:31Speaker 1: it because it doesn't sound like he cares what you
- 56:34Speaker 1: want as long as you submit to him and continue
- 56:37Speaker 1: to drive him wild. Like he said in the letter,
- 56:40Speaker 1: no parents ever gonna give their blessing to this kind
- 56:43Speaker 1: of marital arrangement. It's just to one sided. All him
- 56:47Speaker 1: know you, and for that reason, your mom will never
- 56:50Speaker 1: like him. That's why she says she's out. She doesn't
- 56:53Speaker 1: want to support this. And as a mother myself, I
- 56:56Speaker 1: can tell you that there may not be anything I
- 56:59Speaker 1: can do about it, but I would never agree to
- 57:01Speaker 1: my daughter being with a guy like this either, No,
- 57:04Speaker 1: Steve very very well sick being a mother, y'all. So
- 57:08Speaker 1: I liked your response to this letter has so many yeah,
- 57:15Speaker 1: ignorant statements in it throughout the letter that I almost
- 57:21Speaker 1: don't know how to respond to this letter. But I
- 57:23Speaker 1: want to go to the very last line of the letter.
- 57:27Speaker 1: And after this letter, this girl says, why is my
- 57:30Speaker 1: mother being so judgmental? And why is she forced me
- 57:34Speaker 1: to make a decision? After this hignant asks letter that
- 57:37Speaker 1: I'm about to read, That's what your takeaway was, right,
- 57:41Speaker 1: why is my mother being so judgmental? Well, let's read
- 57:44Speaker 1: this letter out loud, Michelle. I'm a thirty five year
- 57:48Speaker 1: old female with a cute face in a small waist.
- 57:51Speaker 1: I haven't had any trouble meeting men, but I've had
- 57:53Speaker 1: trouble keeping a man well. And after you read this letter,
- 57:56Speaker 1: we're about to find out why. Let's go here we go.
- 58:00Speaker 1: That's all behind me now, because I'm seeing a man
- 58:03Speaker 1: that Kate is to me, respects me, and he would
- 58:05Speaker 1: do anything he needs to do to put a smile
- 58:08Speaker 1: on my face. He thinks ahead and it is a
- 58:11Speaker 1: great planner. So let me show you how great of
- 58:15Speaker 1: a planner he is, and how far he think ahead?
- 58:18Speaker 1: Let me go skip down to this line in the letter.
- 58:21Speaker 1: He told me that he wants to be married, but
- 58:24Speaker 1: he wants an option to have more than one woman
- 58:26Speaker 1: in his life. If that's okay with his wife. Yeah,
- 58:29Speaker 1: that's what I call good ass planning in now. Oh yeah,
- 58:34Speaker 1: he was planning side. Sound kind of like a plot,
- 58:38Speaker 1: but if you want to call it a plan Okay, lady,
- 58:41Speaker 1: he was planning in ahead and he thinks ahead. Yeah,
- 58:45Speaker 1: he then told your stupid ass this piece of information
- 58:49Speaker 1: to see how it set with you the first Okay,
- 58:52Speaker 1: Now let's go back up the letter. He thinks ahead
- 58:54Speaker 1: is a great planner. We've been dating almost a year
- 58:57Speaker 1: and he wants to do an anniversary trip, so I
- 58:59Speaker 1: think he might be ready to propose. Now here's what
- 59:04Speaker 1: the line where she starts telling on herself, I got
- 59:07Speaker 1: rid of all my exes. Wait a minute, if you
- 59:11Speaker 1: have an X, why would you have to get rid
- 59:14Speaker 1: of them? See but with dealing with somebody who keeps
- 59:20Speaker 1: all her exes in her life, so she keeps God
- 59:23Speaker 1: to get rid of all my exes, I changed my
- 59:26Speaker 1: life around to make sure my past is the past.
- 59:31Speaker 1: That means she hadn't done a lot of sketches stuff.
- 59:34Speaker 1: I stopped hanging out and stop posting suggestive pictures on
- 59:38Speaker 1: social media because I wanted to have queen like behavior
- 59:41Speaker 1: for my keen. He come back, I'm gonna close out all. Yeah,
- 59:45Speaker 1: hang on. We'll get part two of Steve's response coming
- 59:48Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject for
- 59:51Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter, this cannot be My life. We'll get
- 59:55Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening morning, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject this cannot be
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: My life. Well, let's get on with this netty ass
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: letter entitled this Cannot be My life. Thirty five year
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: old female got a cute face in the small ways,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: has never had trouble meeting men, but you've been having
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: trouble keeping them. And I'm about to tell you why
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: she met this guy. She says, that's a great planner.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: We'll get into that. We've been dating almost a year.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: He wants to go on the anniversary trip, so I
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: think he might be ready to propose, or she ain't.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Got the cart in front of this horse right here,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: horse in front of this car, Why she's etna mess
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: right here. I got rid of all my exes, not
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: like I said before, If they're your exes, why would
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you had to get rid of But this is a
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: woman that hangs on to a lot of people, and
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I changed my life around to make sure my past
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: is in the past. See, you can't all of a
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: sudden eratial pass. I can tell you that right now.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: So I don't know what you think you'd been done
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: to make sure your pass in your past, But it
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: don't work like that, lady. You just can't wipe the
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: slate clean yourself. I mean, God can't forgive you for anything,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: but you can't. Just too many people go. And then
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: I stopped hanging out and I stopped posting suggested pictures
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: on social media because I want to have queen like
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: behavior for my king. Now, let me explain something to you.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure the way y'all met was on social media.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: So this man that you're going out on this date with,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: on your first date, that you're about to describe before
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: you took the pictures off and found out he was
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: your king. That's how y'all hooked up. He saw the
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: suggesting picture he been on your Facebook page. He know
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: how many friends you got. He know you why, that's
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: why y'all out on this date. So now, on our
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: first date was at his house and we had grill
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: steaks and a lot of one. They'll kill me when
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: women go over man house and they get a steak
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: and they think that's high end. It's just food, that's
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: all it is. It's just a damn piece of me.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: We had grill steaks. You. The only person that balls
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: is steak in the croc pot is surely Strawberry. The
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: rest of us grialized steaks, so that ain't nothing new.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: And you had a lot of wine and a lot
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: of great conversation. He told me off front he wants
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: to be married, but he wants an option to have
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: more than one woman in his life. This is okay
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: with me. Then here's the line that sets it off.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I love women too, So we had that in common.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: That ain't nothing to have in coming throughout our relationship.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: We have had six different girls in our bed. I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: submit to him in bed and do whatever he tells
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: me to do, and it drives him wild. You drive
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: anybody wild, hell if you do everything I tell you
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to do. Here who ain't fit to go wild for that.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I can't even get my wife to watch the damn
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: same TV show I want to watch. Hell yeah, that'll
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: drive me wild. Try that on. We've been to now
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: here's the other part. We've been to counseling together because
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: his last girlfriend got jealous and flipped out on him,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: so he thought it would help me. Here's my problem though.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: What Wait a minute, y'all went to counseling because his
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: last girlfriend flipped out on him and he thought counseling
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: would help you. What kind of swinger counselor he going
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: to to help y'all get through this? Right? Here? Here's
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: the other part. My mother and I are very close,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: so she's aware of what's going on in my relationship. Wait, man, Holder,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you told your mamma. You told your mamma that she
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: doesn't condone it, and she told me that if my
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: boy boyfriend proposes, she would be out of my life
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: for good. I told her, I can't believe this is
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: my life with such a handsome man, caring, an open man.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I may never find another man that I'm discompatible with.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Why is my mother being so judgmentally? Why is she
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: forcing me to make such a choice. Wait a minutelo later.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: All this craziness in this damn letter, and you're worried
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: about why your mama being judgmental. You don't see the
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: craziness in this letter. The six girls in y'all's bed,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: this anniversary trip, y'all going on? Where you think he
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: fitting and proposed, proposed to you for what? Let me
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: ask you a question, why would he marry you when
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: he getting everything he won't from you? What's to marry?
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: He'd had six different girls in y'all's bed, he told
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: you to beginning. He wants to getting married. He loved
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to getting married one day, but he wants a woman
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: in his life. That's okay with him having other women.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: He didn't say he wanted to marry you. Once again,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: he is a woman plugging herself into the equation. He
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: did not say he wanted to marry you. And even
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: if you do get married, what are y'all's vows for? Yeah?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: To cleave only unto her? Which which one of these
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: vials y'all want to break first to love and honor?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Which one you want to break first? For better off?
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: For worst? Y'all already in the worst relationship you can
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: be in. So all you can do is get married
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and hope it get better. Marry him for what? What
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: is the you? What do you need? A holy match? Um,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: a ceremony for to bless what? Married? For what? Girl?
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: You're crazy for your mama don't want to talk to
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you no more, and don't write us no more. Egan,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Are all right? Thank you? Steve. Post your comments on
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming up
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: at forty six minutes after the hours Sports Talk with
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Junior Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: All right time now for Junior in Sports Talk. Junior,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: what you got? Oh? First of all, we gotta say
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: congratulations to Big Poppy for making it to the describing
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: of the Hall of Fame in baseball. But there was
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: some sad news. Man. My heart goes out to Barry
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Bonds this morning. Man, he's no longer on the ballot.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: That was his tenth and final time. He will not
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: really yeah, man, he has a one more shot at it.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: And let's go through a committee, the Golden Age Committee,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: who will have to be the ones that select him
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: into the Hall of Fame. But it was age committee.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Say yeah, to yourself, you know what that means. You
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: know what that old, old as white man. That's the
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Writers Association for years. Yeah, damn, the former slave owner.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: And I don't understand this man because just look at
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: his resume and you tell me he don't deserve to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: be in the Fourteen time All Star, seven time Natural
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: League MVP, eight time Glow Gold Glove of Winning, twelve
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: times Silver Slugger Or Winner. That means he had the
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: highest bat average for the season, career Major League Baseball
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: home run leader with seven hundred and sixty two, career
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Major League Baseball walks leader with two thousand and five
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: hundred and fifty eight walks, and the single season home
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: run leader with seventy three. And he's the only player
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: with five hundred home runs and five hundred stolen bases,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the only player with that can't even get into the
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. And this is like kind of hypocritical
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: to me because when he was hitting all these home runs,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: how much money was Baseball making them? See see they
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: use him for that, But when it comes time for
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: him to get into the Hall of Fame. Hey, man,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: you already a Hall of fame in my eyes, man,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: and you already in there. They're talking, they're doing all
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: of this because they're talking about his steroid us. The
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: majority of this was ever before the notion of steroids
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: are bought up. Absolutely, and these people are the most hypocritical.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Pete Rose should be allowed back in baseball. Pete Rose
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: should be in the Hall of Fame. Absolutely. He's banned
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: for base It doesn't make any sense because he bettered
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: on baseball game all the games he betted on. He's
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: betting on this self. Some other people who was on
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: the final ballot, Roger Clemens, that was his final year
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: on the ballot. He didn't get in. He only had
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: sixty five percent of the vote. You need seventy five
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: to get in. Kurt Schilling, he was on his final
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: year of the ballot. He won't be getting in. And
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Sammy Sosa his final year of the ballot, he really
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: had eighteen point five percent of the vote. He will
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: not be getting in as well. Alex Rodriguez didn't get
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: in either. So I don't know how they're gonna change
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: this something, man, But I feel for your baring well.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Sammy Sosa. Sammy Sosa can reapply, he can go in
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: as into white Man. He has mane Man. Thank you
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Steve for that laugh. Coming up at the top of
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna talk about changing for your significant other.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Kanye West and his new girlfriend Julia Fox made their
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: red carpet debut as a couple in fashion week. At
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Fashion Week in Paris. They were wearing matcham Denham outfits.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: It just screams Kanye. Uh. They were later spotted wearing
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: matching leather outfits. So here's today's question. Have you ever
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: changed your look for a significant other? Uh? And what
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: else have you changed about yourself because of a partner?
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: And do you like this change or d you regret
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: this change? You're happy with the fact that you changed
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: or what? So? Have you changed your look for someone?
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Have I ever changed my look for a significant other?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I mean dressing wise, you know whatever it might be. Marjorie. Hell, yeah,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: she changed you. All the damn changes you haven't seen.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: It's causing hell damn, what the hell you think? I'm
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: sitting around somewhere thinking it is she got me out
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: in big suits and you're happy about that. Do you
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: regret it or are you happy about it? No? Hell no.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Sometimes you need somebody to help you see yourself different. Yeah. See,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: let's let me let me just say this, like like
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: like Sammy Sosa, Sammy Sosa has been denied entry into
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the Hall of Fame. Somebody talked to Sammy and got
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: him to change his look. So even though this is
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Sammy Sosa's final year on the ballot, all Sammy got
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: to do is use them same stats and we submit
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: his photos so they can see that he white. Now
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Sammy can get in and he's that breaking the color barrier,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: that historical. Yeah all right, so what about quick calling
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: yourself Sammy and call yourself Samuel because they liked beers.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Samuel Adams is a very powerble that folks love beers.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: So if you change your name to Samuel, yeah, go ahead.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Sh What about you, Tommy, Tommy, you go first. Have
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: you changed or a significant other or your wife? Yeah yeah,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: I'll change what you might not be your style or
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: your ward. Yeah, just just slow down, chill line, don't argue,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: quit tripping. I'll be on chill. I'll be on now,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: go outside and screamed to the to the to the
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: to the to the to the moon. I screamed loud outside.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: But you are better, you're on back inside. It ain't
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: that happened because you were such a honey. I mean,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Reddy said, I used. I just used to you know,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: if I just if I felt like I was right,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I needed it to be known. Now if I know
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I'm right, you're right. But going outside. Shut up your
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: theory that you're saying on that you can be right
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: or what you Listen to me, there's rude number one
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: of marriage. You can be happy or you can be right.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: You want every day fellas, you get to pick which
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: one you wants to be every day and go head
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: on in that trap to be right going in. That's
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: your stupid ass going. Junior. You don't know nothing about this,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: but it's coming Yeah, it's coming up. But are you
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: learning anything? Junior? Oh, I'm learning a lot with this combo? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: what what have you learned today? Well? You know, I'm
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: just damn being right. If the coff it doesn't, it
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: absolutely does nothing, It does nothing. Right, who cares? Right?
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I mean, you could tell junior, Junior might be going
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: through something because all you gotta do is watch his
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: move swings. Look at him now, eyes hand shut. Very
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: different from the other day in a chair rocket right now?
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Are you going through something? Not holding yourself folding? See
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: see that's that sharp to Now are you going through
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: something now? Tried to snap itself out of it? Now?

- 1:16:39Speaker 1: we're waiting deep breathing jump you tell people jump either way?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Yeah you do? Wait what it don't matter, you don't
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: really matter. Or go to prison for four years. It's
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: that option. No, there's no sis you're willing to go
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: to prison deep block anyway. So I probably had to
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: go on do the money. Yeah, yeah, I had to
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: go and show the money. What huh? Why we don't
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: ask y'all. Why we don't ask y'all these questions? Okay,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: because it's for the comedians on it. Yeah, okay, that's
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: why I wouldn't you know nothing about me? I want
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: to ask what he going over it in? Where to
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: pay his canteen? And look at this on the row.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: You'll be a shock. See where was y'all have your finances? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: next next quarter? Oh, we're getting out of this one. Okay.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Would you rather would you? I'd rather know these questions
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: ahead attack? Would you rather eat pizza or ice cream
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: as the only food for eternity? Which one pick? One
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: would rather eat pizza pizzazza. I love ice cream and
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I'm topping yeahs as soon as I get up in
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: the morning, I got to eat some damn ice cream.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Running out of flavor rich or something. All right, thanks guys.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: That's today's edition of Would You Rather? Coming up at
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. It is our last
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: break of the day, and of course we will have
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: some closing remarks from our fearlessly fearless leader, the one
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening to
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: the show, all right, here we are, guys, last break
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: of the day on this Thursday. Wow time, it's fine, yea, yeah,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: it was about to be February in a minute, almost right,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: And of course black history. You know what, Let me
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: ask you a question. I was thinking about this to
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: encourage people. I wanted to say this to you in closing.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: The right time is now. That's the subject. The right
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: time is now? Are you waiting for Do you know
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: how many people never start the pursuit of their dreams
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: and the pursuit of their happiness because they keep waiting
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: on the right time. Well, I have news for you.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: The right time is now. If you're waiting on all
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: the ducks to get lined up in the row, if
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: you're waiting all the stars to align themselves, if you're
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: waiting on the tide to come in, if you're waiting
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: on them the right set of circumstances, if you're waiting
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: on everybody to say the right thing, if you're trying
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: to get confirmation from all the people in your circle,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: you're never gonna start. It's never gonna happen. If you're
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: waiting until the time is perfect, you're not gonna get there.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: The perfect time is now. See now starts the process.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Every time you delay the start of the process, you
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: move back another opportunity. Because the opportunity is in front
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: of you, is today and is now, a big part
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: of people not succeeding, though, is not only do they
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: want the timing to be right and the right time
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: to everything to be lining up, but they also want
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: to know the way all the way to the end.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: That's not how this works. If you make one step,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: he'll make two. But you first have to make a step.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: You gotta do something. Some of these steps are time consuming.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: You don't just take a step and then another step
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: and they come right back to back to back. You're
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: gonna have challenges and setbacks and delays along the way,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: but you gotta keep making steps. You're gonna fall along
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: the way, but you gotta get back up and gotta
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: keep making steps. You're gonna get it wrong sometime, but
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you gotta get back up and keep making steps. You're
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: gonna go off in the wrong direction sometimes, but you
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: gotta turn around, come back, retreat your steps, and get
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: on the right path. But the time to do it
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: is now. As long as you're delaying it, man, all
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: you're doing is blowing it. You're blowing it. Because once,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: once the devil realizes and sees the way to get
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: you to procrastinate, he gonna present it in all types
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: of angles for you. He gonna he gonna put it
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: in all shapes and forms. If it just takes that
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: to throw you off course, to keep it from starting,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: he'll keep presenting that opportunity, and he'll repackage it over
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: and over and over and over, because his one job
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: is to make sure that you never accomplish what God
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: created you to be. That's his job is to rob
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: you of your destiny. Y'all, stop doing it to yourselves.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: It's twenty twenty two. You got to start, You got
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: to go forward. The time is now. Stop waiting on
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: it to line up. It's not going to line up.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: It doesn't line up like that. That's not how it works.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Making the decision to be successful is hard because it's
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: gonna require you to do some things that take you
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: out of your comfort zone. But that's where your success is.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Success is outside of the comfort zone. If you stay
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: in your comfort zone, I'm telling you, that's where you're
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: going to fail. Keep being comfortable, you're gonna fail right there.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Keep making sure that everything feel good to you. You're
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: gonna fail right there. Keep on making sure you don't
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: stress yourself out, and you don't put yourself in you
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: don't take no chance, and you don't put yourself under
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: no undue pressure. Make sure you don't take no unnecessary risk.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Keep on. You're gonna fail right there. Stop doing that
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: to yourself. Stop going back to the thing that you
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: always comfortable with. Most people can't move forward because they
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: keep going back to where they was comfortable. I know people,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: man that's talking about moving forward with their life, but
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: they can't move forward their life because they keep going backwards.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna move back over here. I could afford this
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: one over here. I'm gonna move over here. I could
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: afford that over there. Go somewhere that's uncomfortable. Gone over there.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Yeah it costs more out there, but go over there. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: it's gonna put you on the little bit of stress
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: over there, But gone over there. You might find out
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: you can handle it. You might find out that you
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: got enough to be able to do. Man. See now
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: you're pushing me now, because now I gotta tell you something.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: God don't take you nowhere. He don't equip you to be.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: He just don't do that to you. But a lot
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: of great things is calling you. But you thank you
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: not equipped. God don't take you nowhere. He don't equip
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you to be. Let go, man, let go of your
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: pass so you can go get your future quick. Moving
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: back over here, because I know that people over here,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: because it's comfortable over there's more affordable over there. Affordable. Okay,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: keep on because I'm telling you right now, it costs
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: no matter where you go. It cost to move forward,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: and it costs to move backwards. I'd rather pay the
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: costs to moving forward than to keep paying the costs
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: of moving backwards, because to move backwards, guess where it
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: costs you? Now everything you've turned up until this point,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: and you can't keep getting it back. Y'all. Stop waiting
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: on the right time. Stop expecting your ducks to line
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: up in the row. The right time is now. What
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: are you waiting for? You can't build the future dabbling
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: in your paths. Stop it, have faith, move forward, Talk
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: to God about it, put it in God's hand, and
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: go see what God got for you in twenty twenty two.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Those are my closes remarks. Oh we'll see y'all tomorrow.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Y'all have a googling. Okay, hey, look, talk to God.
