- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water, the water go. Come come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your fab I sure will. Good morning everybody. You I
- 2:05Speaker 1: listened to the voice, come on dig me now. One
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Trying to do something
- 2:15Speaker 1: with it too, man. Uh you know, um, I was
- 2:19Speaker 1: having a conversation the other day with a young person
- 2:23Speaker 1: and they were telling me how they felt that their
- 2:26Speaker 1: life was stuck, that their life was in a rut,
- 2:30Speaker 1: that they didn't know what to do next. And one
- 2:35Speaker 1: of the things that was causing them this sadness or
- 2:39Speaker 1: this depression. I mean, they really really into something right now.
- 2:43Speaker 1: One of the things that was causing it was the
- 2:46Speaker 1: fact that they had made a list of things they
- 2:51Speaker 1: wanted to accomplish by a certain age, and that age
- 2:57Speaker 1: they just had a birthday recently and they were looking
- 3:02Speaker 1: at the list and the list hadn't been fulfilled, and
- 3:09Speaker 1: because that list hadn't been fulfilled, they were really really
- 3:14Speaker 1: sad about it, you know. Um one of the things
- 3:18Speaker 1: that they had on the list was marriage, kids, and
- 3:25Speaker 1: I don't know everything else that was on the list,
- 3:27Speaker 1: but that was one of them. And because she had
- 3:30Speaker 1: reached a certain age and she wasn't married, and she
- 3:33Speaker 1: didn't have the kids, and she had just celebrated her birthday,
- 3:37Speaker 1: she's gone into this mode of sadness, whereas really really
- 3:43Speaker 1: taken a toll on her and us. As I was
- 3:47Speaker 1: learning about her situation, I was thinking about it, and
- 3:54Speaker 1: I just wanted to share this with you all this
- 3:55Speaker 1: morning that one of the things about making a list
- 3:59Speaker 1: about what you want, which I happen to be a
- 4:01Speaker 1: proponent of, I do it myself. I have people have
- 4:05Speaker 1: dream boards, I have a gold sheet I have. I've
- 4:09Speaker 1: been doing it for years. It's a It's a wonderful
- 4:11Speaker 1: way to set goals and to keep it in front
- 4:15Speaker 1: of you as a constant reminder. And I always go
- 4:17Speaker 1: over this goal list every day, you know. I mean
- 4:20Speaker 1: I go of it all the time every day. Sometimes
- 4:23Speaker 1: I miss a day here and there, but mostly every
- 4:26Speaker 1: day I pulled my gold sheet out and I look
- 4:28Speaker 1: at it, I read it. So I was going to
- 4:31Speaker 1: these rallies and I was learning about, you know, people
- 4:34Speaker 1: who were successful in how they kept their mind writing positive.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And one of the things I learned was to make
- 4:39Speaker 1: these dream boards, these lists, these gold sheets. And in
- 4:44Speaker 1: making a gold sheet, and you make the sheet according
- 4:48Speaker 1: to what you want, think about one thing when you
- 4:52Speaker 1: made your gold sheet, about what you want it? Does
- 4:56Speaker 1: your goal sheet have on it what God wants from you?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Did you ask in any of this what was His
- 5:03Speaker 1: will in your life? You know? Look, man, what we
- 5:07Speaker 1: want oftentimes is not what He wants for us. And
- 5:12Speaker 1: you know, if you're fighting against what you were created for,
- 5:16Speaker 1: if you're fighting against his will, I mean, what do
- 5:20Speaker 1: you want to happen? See? Don't be so hard on
- 5:23Speaker 1: yourself when you look at your goal sheet and you
- 5:25Speaker 1: look at what you've not become what you thought was
- 5:28Speaker 1: a great idea. Don't be so hard on yourself because
- 5:31Speaker 1: you just made a minded mistake. As do most people,
- 5:34Speaker 1: we oftentimes make our goals and set our goals up
- 5:37Speaker 1: without ever considering what is it that God wants from us.
- 5:41Speaker 1: We keep talking about what we want without ever finding
- 5:44Speaker 1: out and knowing what it is God wants for us. Well,
- 5:47Speaker 1: guess what, man, maybe you're fighting against the grain. Maybe
- 5:51Speaker 1: you're just a salmon heading upstream. That's a tough fight upstream.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Not all salmons get up to the spawning grounds, you know.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Some of them don't make it upstream, you know. But
- 6:00Speaker 1: all of them, nearly all of them, except the ones
- 6:03Speaker 1: that's killed by prey. When they're spawned, they go out
- 6:05Speaker 1: to the ocean. That's cool, because you're going because you're
- 6:08Speaker 1: going with the grain. You're going downstream, you're going with
- 6:11Speaker 1: the flow. That's but when it's time to go against
- 6:15Speaker 1: the grain, it's tough. And a lot of us have
- 6:17Speaker 1: just been going against the grain for all of these years.
- 6:20Speaker 1: But you know what, listen, man, I did it. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: know a lot of people who did it. Very few
- 6:26Speaker 1: people get it right from the very beginning. Man, you
- 6:30Speaker 1: got to stumble through life sometimes sometimes you got to
- 6:33Speaker 1: fall through life. You gotta make a lot of mistakes, man,
- 6:36Speaker 1: But these mistakes are not failures. You know, when you
- 6:39Speaker 1: fail at something, don't look at it as a failure.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Don't look at yourself as a failure. Because you're thirty
- 6:44Speaker 1: and and your goals ain't reach that you had on
- 6:46Speaker 1: your list. That was your list. What about the things
- 6:49Speaker 1: that's going right? Stop looking at what you're not, take
- 6:54Speaker 1: some time out and thank God for what you are.
- 6:56Speaker 1: How about the fact that you keep waking up to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be thirty? You know you get there? About these birthdays?
- 7:01Speaker 1: You really want to throw yourself in some depression. Miss
- 7:03Speaker 1: a birthday, You really got a problem. Now look at
- 7:07Speaker 1: where you are. You keep reaching birthdays. That's a glorious blessing.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You keep waking up. You got your health, You've accomplished something.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Something on your list is done. People spend too much
- 7:19Speaker 1: time on the negative side, and you're just throwing yourself
- 7:22Speaker 1: into depression. So what, you wanted to be married by
- 7:24Speaker 1: a certain age and you wanted to have kids, Okay, cool,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you could have done all that with the wrong person.
- 7:30Speaker 1: There's a blessing in not being married to the wrong person.
- 7:33Speaker 1: There's a blessing in not having kids and nobody to
- 7:36Speaker 1: help you raise it. There's a blessing in that man.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You're talking to somebody who can tell it to you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You can marry the wrong person if you want to.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I'm telling you you're gonna be up in some mess.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You can't count on. So instead of being angry because
- 7:49Speaker 1: you're not married, you don't have kids, why don't you
- 7:52Speaker 1: thank God demand Maybe he spared you from some misery here.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Maybe you could have married the wrong person. Maybe you
- 7:57Speaker 1: have kids and you're not really ready to be a
- 7:59Speaker 1: mother or a father. You gotta look at the upside, man,
- 8:02Speaker 1: Quit looking at what you don't have. Take some time
- 8:05Speaker 1: to thank God for what you do have. When you
- 8:07Speaker 1: do that, you make more room for blessings to flow
- 8:10Speaker 1: into your life. I'm not saying how God thinks, because
- 8:13Speaker 1: I really don't know, but I'm telling you if a
- 8:17Speaker 1: person comes to me and I always give a person
- 8:20Speaker 1: something and they never appear grateful, or they never say
- 8:23Speaker 1: thank you, please, no, you can quit coming to me now.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't know thats how God works because I've gone
- 8:30Speaker 1: back to him several times without being grateful of thanking him,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and he's feeling my basket up again. So I really
- 8:37Speaker 1: think he's not like that. But I can't make the
- 8:40Speaker 1: call for sure. But I think at one point in time, me,
- 8:45Speaker 1: just just me talking, i'd be a little ticked off
- 8:47Speaker 1: at somebody who was always taken, taking, taking, and never
- 8:51Speaker 1: showing any gratitude at one point in time, I would
- 8:54Speaker 1: just stop the flow of the take. You know, you
- 8:57Speaker 1: just you can't take no more from me. That's what
- 8:59Speaker 1: I do now. I'm not calling it like that because
- 9:02Speaker 1: I ain't him, but I know he's merciful, He's full
- 9:05Speaker 1: of goodness and here and there and he'll forgive you again.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And thank God he does that because he's shown enough
- 9:10Speaker 1: done it for me. But wow, man, take some time
- 9:13Speaker 1: out today and be grateful for what you have. Stop
- 9:16Speaker 1: complaining about where you're not, and think about where you are,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and then take it from there. And then next time
- 9:22Speaker 1: you make a list, make sure on that list you
- 9:24Speaker 1: have God's will. What does he want for you? God
- 9:28Speaker 1: create give everybody a gift and a talent. Some of
- 9:30Speaker 1: us never apply gifts and talents. We head off in
- 9:33Speaker 1: another direction. Then you wonder why your life ain't where
- 9:36Speaker 1: its supposed to be. Have you ever thought about what
- 9:39Speaker 1: God gifted you to do? Have you ever thought about
- 9:41Speaker 1: doing that? And stip skip what you want. I wanted
- 9:43Speaker 1: to play in the NBA, but I gotta tell you something.
- 9:46Speaker 1: At dribbling and shooting and running all at one time,
- 9:50Speaker 1: throwing me off a little bit. You know, it's so
- 9:53Speaker 1: I'm doing what I do. It's pretty cool. You can
- 9:55Speaker 1: look at it that way. Okay, you're listening. Here we go,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Steve Harvey Morning Show us on tablet.
- 10:06Speaker 1: This is the baddest morning showing the world by none.

- 15:09Speaker 1: you know, probably the thing that all gotten me down
- 15:14Speaker 1: the most. You know, people people were blaming me, you know,
- 15:18Speaker 1: for messing up their clothes. You know, everybody had something
- 15:23Speaker 1: to say about me messing up their clothes. And when
- 15:25Speaker 1: they say, right down on my chest, it's got right there.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Do not mix with colors again now now now, not
- 15:35Speaker 1: colored people. We're talking about colored clothes. See, I don't
- 15:43Speaker 1: think I don't think nobody used were colored people. When
- 15:47Speaker 1: I first started, it was a very popular saying that
- 15:50Speaker 1: colored you don't know if they were talking about clothes
- 15:52Speaker 1: all people. But when I first come out, you know,
- 15:55Speaker 1: when it was all right there. But it's not correct
- 15:58Speaker 1: to say that anymore politically, you know that anymore. Yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 1: but you know, but then there was a lot of things,
- 16:04Speaker 1: you know, and you know, just the whole thing about.

- 22:09Speaker 1: my husband wanted to pedicure for me. I'm I'm I'm
- 22:12Speaker 1: actually good right now. I'm gonna wait until I'm ready,
- 22:16Speaker 1: but thank you very much. But no, this is a
- 22:22Speaker 1: this is a this is a pop up pedicure. And
- 22:25Speaker 1: what we do is we actually cool. Yeah, we come
- 22:27Speaker 1: to your house. We have gloves and we have masks
- 22:31Speaker 1: on and and you you stick your foot out the
- 22:34Speaker 1: door and we're going to disinfect everything your foot. You're
- 22:40Speaker 1: talking about putting my foot out the door. Yeah, so
- 22:44Speaker 1: just just for safety, you stick you. I'm sorry. My
- 22:48Speaker 1: name is Milton with um Precious pop Up Pedicure. We
- 22:51Speaker 1: do pedicure as we go around, but we know a
- 22:53Speaker 1: lot of people can't get out. So you know, we're
- 22:55Speaker 1: small business. We're just trying to stay afloat right now.
- 22:58Speaker 1: So that's what your husband called about, you know, he
- 23:01Speaker 1: called us. He wanted to get an appointment for you.
- 23:03Speaker 1: And but we come to your house and when you
- 23:05Speaker 1: stick your leg out, we'll do the pedicure, and then
- 23:07Speaker 1: you stick the other leg out and we'll do that one. Melton, honey, tweetheart.
- 23:10Speaker 1: And I know you've seen a lot of feet and
- 23:12Speaker 1: you've done a lot of toes and hands. And let
- 23:14Speaker 1: me tell you something the fun I'm gonna put my
- 23:17Speaker 1: feet out the window. First of all, Well, whichever it
- 23:21Speaker 1: is convenient, the window of the door, I don't care
- 23:24Speaker 1: what it is. If I'm gonna get my feet done,
- 23:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna have my dump my feet done in a
- 23:30Speaker 1: chair inside. And I would be I'd be out of
- 23:33Speaker 1: my head if I put my feet out the window.
- 23:35Speaker 1: People don't see my feet out the window. That is crazy.
- 23:38Speaker 1: And I'm I'm coming correct as as a businesswoman woman
- 23:43Speaker 1: to a man, Melton, I suggest you just you tell
- 23:46Speaker 1: her that back in maybe you can do some some
- 23:49Speaker 1: buy me in advanced petticures like that from my feet
- 23:52Speaker 1: are too fragile beautiful to be putting out there. Well,
- 23:56Speaker 1: well there there's lots of the problem, man. And if
- 23:59Speaker 1: you don't mind your your husband, Kelvin is the one
- 24:02Speaker 1: that called, and he's the one that says that your
- 24:03Speaker 1: feet look a mess. So that's why we're calling. He's
- 24:06Speaker 1: the one that booked the appointment for you. You know what,
- 24:09Speaker 1: my feet are beautiful and again noking, you know, are
- 24:13Speaker 1: they beautiful now since you've been in I'm sorry? Use me?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Are you? Are you the person who should be telling
- 24:19Speaker 1: me that? That's how my husband who I will have
- 24:21Speaker 1: a conversation with after this conversation. So I guess my
- 24:25Speaker 1: question is, man, you're saying your feet are beautiful, but
- 24:28Speaker 1: are they beautiful now since they you've been locked up
- 24:30Speaker 1: for a month or so? I mean, evidently you evidently
- 24:34Speaker 1: your feet are scaring your husband because he's the one
- 24:36Speaker 1: calling saying, oh my god, I gotta get my wife's
- 24:38Speaker 1: feet done. My feet are gorgeous, tweetheart, Okay, they're beautiful,
- 24:43Speaker 1: the supple, the beautiful that got a beautiful tone of
- 24:45Speaker 1: caramel to them. They shine at the sunshine. Whether they're
- 24:48Speaker 1: policed or not. My husband will love them whether they're
- 24:51Speaker 1: painted clips. Well, I don't think your husband loves them
- 24:54Speaker 1: because he called us. Obviously, Milton, you're not thinking, and
- 24:59Speaker 1: I think you need to check with your wife. Wendy.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Do you know that there's no reason you should ever
- 25:03Speaker 1: have this conversation with a grown woman about her feet,
- 25:06Speaker 1: is what her husband says. I don't know you, and
- 25:09Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as polite as possible. You will
- 25:11Speaker 1: not be stepping into my window, are you crazy? I'm
- 25:15Speaker 1: not gonna come in your window. You just stick your
- 25:17Speaker 1: foot out of the window of the door, whichever one
- 25:20Speaker 1: is convenient for you. Okay, it's not that hard. It's
- 25:23Speaker 1: gonna fifteen twenty minutes and we're done. Oh no, no, no, no,
- 25:27Speaker 1: you are not getting business fifteen or twenty minutes. Do
- 25:29Speaker 1: you know how much time it takes to get a
- 25:31Speaker 1: pedicure done? You know this is well, this is a
- 25:35Speaker 1: pop up this it's a pop up pedicure. We're down.
- 25:40Speaker 1: You're gonna be driving through with three wos at this point.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I'm not taking that. No, no, no, no no. And
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm having a conversation with my husband to never call
- 25:49Speaker 1: you again. And I do suggest that you have a
- 25:51Speaker 1: conversation with Wendy, who I don't know, but I think
- 25:54Speaker 1: she would agree with me. Twenty minutes is not long enough.
- 25:57Speaker 1: My feet are beautiful, and don't ever call me again
- 26:00Speaker 1: and tell me that you think, for some reason that
- 26:02Speaker 1: because my husband told you that they were bad feet
- 26:05Speaker 1: or I needed to get a petty here, that you
- 26:07Speaker 1: have the right to tell me that you don't know me.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And if you do ever come by my house, I
- 26:12Speaker 1: swear to God, I will stick my foot up your
- 26:15Speaker 1: phone and don't ever ever trying to bring that up
- 26:21Speaker 1: to me again. Don't call my house. This is what
- 26:24Speaker 1: this is what Kelvin told us. Ma'am Okaylynn told me what.
- 26:29Speaker 1: You are not supposed to tell a woman that. Like
- 26:32Speaker 1: I said, I'm done. I'm okay. But you do you
- 26:36Speaker 1: want do you want to know what else Kelvin? Do
- 26:37Speaker 1: you want to know what else Kelvin told us to do?
- 26:39Speaker 1: Do you want to know what else Kelvin told us
- 26:41Speaker 1: to do? No? I don't. Okay, okay, but can I
- 26:44Speaker 1: just can I just please tell you what else Kelvin
- 26:46Speaker 1: told us? Seconds then I'm hanging up, Okay. This is
- 26:50Speaker 1: a moment of true Kelvin gave us a call. He
- 26:53Speaker 1: gave me a call me nephew Timmy from the Steve
- 26:56Speaker 1: Harvey More on the show. He told me the prank
- 26:58Speaker 1: phone call his wife. No, I'm serious? Are you serious? Yo?
- 27:08Speaker 1: You know what, sweetheart, you're you are so on car
- 27:12Speaker 1: right now, because if this had actually been the fruit,
- 27:15Speaker 1: I would have been throwing my husband out the door.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Excuse my frankness. First of all, how are how are
- 27:22Speaker 1: you doing? I mean not gonna have you on the phone.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Can we have a heart to heart because I love you.
- 27:28Speaker 1: We can have a heart to heart? How you doing?

- 28:58Speaker 1: have a question to ask y'all er. All right, coming up,
- 29:06Speaker 1: thinking of you, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:08Speaker 1: entertainment and national news. Right after this, you're listening to
- 29:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, I do want to
- 29:17Speaker 1: make this reminder. Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 29:20Speaker 1: Kim is going to be our special guests here. We'll
- 29:24Speaker 1: hear his brand new song it's called Lie to Me,
- 29:26Speaker 1: and we'll find out how he's been holding up during
- 29:28Speaker 1: this whole pandemic and everything. But before we get to
- 29:31Speaker 1: other entertainment news, Steve Harvey, before we went to break,
- 29:35Speaker 1: you said you wanted to ask us a question. Yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 1: I know, we avoided the NFL draft conversation so far
- 29:42Speaker 1: Day one, but Cleveland Brown's picked the Office and Tackle
- 29:45Speaker 1: to help protect Baker Mayfield and Springing Nick Chill around
- 29:48Speaker 1: in corners. I was just curious to know from Tommy
- 29:51Speaker 1: and Junior, who did who do Houston pick up? We
- 29:55Speaker 1: ain't got the first thing yet. I don't remember who.
- 30:00Speaker 1: I don't want to hit right now, y'all, y'all don't
- 30:03Speaker 1: have a first round whoever was? We don't even remember me.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Y'all had not got one. Coach, No, we don't have one.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I think you already. In other words, Houston and South
- 30:15Speaker 1: Carolina had the same pitch. Yea yea, nam nam namn.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Oh my god. And you know, I know I know
- 30:26Speaker 1: nothing about football, but I do know that South Carolina
- 30:30Speaker 1: and Houston did not pick anybody. In the matter of fact,
- 30:33Speaker 1: same y'all ain't got nobody in South Carolina. Jake, Wow, Wow, No,
- 30:39Speaker 1: we don't have a pick. And the Dolphins got three
- 30:42Speaker 1: first round picks. Jaguars got two first round picks and
- 30:46Speaker 1: they gotta have and y'all still ain't got a pick.
- 30:51Speaker 1: You know what? Okay, okay, okay, we're gonna see how
- 30:54Speaker 1: y'all do this is? Keep on with all that keep doing? Right?
- 30:59Speaker 1: Was the draft? Why you all off in the season,
- 31:01Speaker 1: Jay say, ain't gonna be no season When it comes
- 31:07Speaker 1: to sport at drafting all playing a redrafted sports. All right,
- 31:17Speaker 1: let's get to the entertainment news for today, guys. Speaking
- 31:21Speaker 1: of the NBA sports uh, NBA Great Dennis Rodman is
- 31:25Speaker 1: worried about the health of his good friend North Korea's leader,
- 31:28Speaker 1: Kim Jong un. Uh. Dennis Robin has been praying for
- 31:32Speaker 1: Kim Jong, he said, for speedy recovery. Row. They don't.
- 31:40Speaker 1: They don't let me ask you a question. They don't
- 31:43Speaker 1: do religion in North Korea doesn't know. They don't well.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Rodman has been praying for Kim Jong, he said John,
- 31:50Speaker 1: and then he but he not praying for so well.
- 31:55Speaker 1: If they don't not, I'm not advanced Christianity. You're not
- 32:00Speaker 1: willing to pray for yourself? Please, No, I'm not fin
- 32:02Speaker 1: to waste mine. Well well, Dennis Rodman has been praying
- 32:07Speaker 1: for his friend for speedy recovery after hearing about his
- 32:11Speaker 1: health problems. He hasn't been seen in public Kim John Hun.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Kim Jong own has not been seen in public since
- 32:17Speaker 1: April fourth, guys, if you ain't made him his ass
- 32:21Speaker 1: is sick, okay, you ain't seen that. He may have
- 32:26Speaker 1: had heart surgery and he is fighting for his life.
- 32:28Speaker 1: So yeah, those are the probability. Somebody asked me one time,
- 32:34Speaker 1: was he wearing one of my old Steve Harvey He
- 32:47Speaker 1: had written back, before we get out of here, we
- 32:50Speaker 1: have to say happy birthday to your good friend and
- 32:53Speaker 1: one of the kings, Cedric the Entertainer. It is maybe
- 32:59Speaker 1: entertained no birthday. Say yeah, I'm calling me, and messer
- 33:07Speaker 1: said the damn McCauley. His wife is doing a big
- 33:11Speaker 1: birthday for him, a big viral and a social distancing
- 33:15Speaker 1: birthday party. Oh yeah, okay, well, happy birthday, Cedric the Entertainer,
- 33:21Speaker 1: from all of us. Come on, Steve, let's get to
- 33:24Speaker 1: the news, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne trip, thank you,
- 33:28Speaker 1: thank you. Good morning everybody. This is a trip with
- 33:30Speaker 1: the news powers out across large swaths of the South
- 33:33Speaker 1: this morning. Folks from Texas to Mississippi dealing with severe weather,
- 33:37Speaker 1: including the aftermath of tornadoes. One man, a factory worker
- 33:40Speaker 1: in southern Oklahoma, actually was killed by one of the twisters.
- 33:43Speaker 1: In Washington, the US House it Representatives as given its
- 33:46Speaker 1: approval to another massive emergency economic stimulus package half a
- 33:50Speaker 1: trillion dollars as earmark for overwhelmed hospitals in the wake
- 33:54Speaker 1: of the coronavirus and for struggling small businesses. Meanwhile, Republican
- 33:57Speaker 1: Senate leader Mitch McConnell's put his two cents in about
- 34:00Speaker 1: what he thinks states should do if they're hard hit
- 34:02Speaker 1: by the coronavirus and the financial losses. He says. Instead
- 34:05Speaker 1: of asking for government help, McConnell says states should declare bankruptcy.
- 34:09Speaker 1: McConnell coldy pushed for more relief funds. Get this Blue
- 34:12Speaker 1: state bailouts well, New York government. Cuomo said, that's just
- 34:16Speaker 1: about it for crying out a lot. If there was
- 34:18Speaker 1: ever a time for you to put aside your pettiness
- 34:22Speaker 1: and your partisanship, I mean, if there's ever a time
- 34:25Speaker 1: for humanity and decency, now is the time. Cuomo says.
- 34:30Speaker 1: The Empire State could ultimately lose as much as fifteen
- 34:33Speaker 1: billion dollars due to the COVID nineteen virus. By the way,
- 34:36Speaker 1: although President Trump is really fond of claiming that his predecessor,
- 34:39Speaker 1: former President Obama, left the country unprepared for this and
- 34:42Speaker 1: for everything else, mister Obama warned Americans about preparing for
- 34:46Speaker 1: a possible global pandemic two years before he left office,
- 34:50Speaker 1: may and likely will come a time in which we
- 34:53Speaker 1: have both an airborne disease that is deadly, and in
- 34:58Speaker 1: order for us to deal with that effectively, we have
- 35:01Speaker 1: to put in place an infrastructure not just here at home,
- 35:04Speaker 1: but globally that allows us to see it quickly, isolated,
- 35:08Speaker 1: quickly respond to it quickly, so that if and when
- 35:12Speaker 1: a new strain of flu crops up five years from
- 35:15Speaker 1: now or a decade from now, we're further along to
- 35:18Speaker 1: be able to catch it. It is a smart investment
- 35:21Speaker 1: for us to make. However, according to the Associated Press,
- 35:24Speaker 1: Donald Trump, once he got in office, disbanded the National
- 35:27Speaker 1: Security Council team focused on pandemic preparedness, and Trump also
- 35:31Speaker 1: made the repeated cuts to the Centers for Disease Control,
- 35:34Speaker 1: that's the agency in charge of responding to viral outbreaks.
- 35:38Speaker 1: In Wisconsin, there were seven, but now at least nineteen
- 35:40Speaker 1: people have contracted the COVID nineteen virus. After taking part
- 35:44Speaker 1: in that recent court ordered in person primary election in Wisconsin.
- 35:48Speaker 1: You may remember the Democratic governor tried to say no,
- 35:50Speaker 1: it should be a right in election, but the Republicans
- 35:52Speaker 1: in the legislature and a right wing judge followed and
- 35:55Speaker 1: said no, they have to vote in person. In Georgia.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Despite a torrent of criticism, Governor Bryant Kemp says some
- 36:01Speaker 1: non essential businesses in the peach Day can begin opening today.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Movie theaters and the like can open on Monday. Finally,
- 36:07Speaker 1: today is National Pigs in a Blanket Day. Steve Harvey,
- 36:11Speaker 1: morn you're listening to show. Hey lock, everybody joining us? Now,
- 36:17Speaker 1: we got a family member we ain't talk to him
- 36:19Speaker 1: in a while. It's got some new music he's been
- 36:23Speaker 1: working on. But today's joining us talk about his brand
- 36:27Speaker 1: new hot single Lie to Me right here this morning.
- 36:32Speaker 1: This new single is a soulful declaration of unconditional love,
- 36:37Speaker 1: and it is his first new single in almost six years.

- 37:32Speaker 1: we didn't make it. So Trinity was born made her

- 38:12Speaker 1: don't try this at home. Yeah, because it wasn't playing.
- 38:20Speaker 1: That's the best for sure, you know. But uh, you know,
- 38:23Speaker 1: but but you know what you know, God is good.
- 38:25Speaker 1: God is good, you know. And uh, Mom and the
- 38:29Speaker 1: baby are healthy and we're just down here, man, loving
- 38:31Speaker 1: on each other and uh and and being grateful, you
- 38:34Speaker 1: know for the season of our lives, the season of
- 38:36Speaker 1: my life. You know, a lot of change, a lot
- 38:38Speaker 1: of a lot has happened over the last six years,
- 38:41Speaker 1: and uh, and I'm and I'm and I'm and I'm
- 38:43Speaker 1: really grateful for it. Well, we're gonna talk about all that, man,
- 38:46Speaker 1: because it's been almost six years since you blessed us
- 38:48Speaker 1: with a new single or album. We're gonna hear about
- 38:51Speaker 1: that when we come back. He's got a new lead

- 39:29Speaker 1: Show's all right, y'all, we're back our special guest this morning.
- 39:37Speaker 1: It's one of the great soul for voices in music today.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Our buddy Kim. He's a family member. He's just informing
- 39:43Speaker 1: us of the new addition to the family trinity. Her
- 39:47Speaker 1: his mother was it your mother, her mother, Kim's mother
- 39:53Speaker 1: was at the house. He was supposed to go to
- 39:54Speaker 1: the hospital and they didn't make it, and Kim's mom
- 39:57Speaker 1: bought her new granddaughter into the world in their bedroom,
- 40:02Speaker 1: old school style. So that's a great story, hey man,
- 40:06Speaker 1: So congratulation on every day. But let's get to it. Man,
- 40:09Speaker 1: tell us about this new single a Lie to Me.
- 40:11Speaker 1: New single, Lie to Me is off of my upcoming
- 40:15Speaker 1: album Devotion. The single was written by myself, Anthony Hamilton's
- 40:21Speaker 1: The Lime, Remy and James Poyser. And like Anthony, they
- 40:25Speaker 1: actually sent me this song like in twenty sixteen, and
- 40:28Speaker 1: I was just sitting on it, you know, and I
- 40:30Speaker 1: didn't I didn't do anything with it. And then I
- 40:32Speaker 1: met my wife when he sat down and we had
- 40:34Speaker 1: a conversation about being honest and opened with each other
- 40:39Speaker 1: and not trying to put a selfie filter on our

- 54:13Speaker 1: Letter subject he is treating me like a bad business deal.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty four year old divorced
- 54:22Speaker 1: former model and beauty pageant winner. Five years ago, I
- 54:26Speaker 1: met and married the most perfect man. My husband is
- 54:30Speaker 1: the CEO of a major company, so we had an
- 54:33Speaker 1: ideal lifestyle. I was young, wealthy, and beautiful with a
- 54:38Speaker 1: passion for bad boys. I went to the gym daily,
- 54:42Speaker 1: and a year ago I met a man that was
- 54:45Speaker 1: my age with the best body I had seen in
- 54:48Speaker 1: my life. I started sneaking around and sleeping with the guy.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Although my husband was devoted, loving and very attentive, having
- 54:57Speaker 1: this affair with the guy from the gym gave me
- 54:59Speaker 1: the rus I needed at the time. The affair went
- 55:02Speaker 1: on for six months until one day I walked into
- 55:06Speaker 1: the house and there was an envelope in the kitchen
- 55:09Speaker 1: that had my name on it. The envelope contained divorce papers,
- 55:14Speaker 1: a letter from my husband's attorney, a check for two
- 55:17Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars, and twenty nine pictures of me and
- 55:22Speaker 1: the guy I had been sleeping with. What breath My
- 55:26Speaker 1: breath and life stopped immediately, and I tried to call
- 55:30Speaker 1: my husband to beg for forgiveness and plead with him,
- 55:34Speaker 1: but he wouldn't take my calls. His attorney called and
- 55:38Speaker 1: he was very cold towards me, like he did not
- 55:41Speaker 1: know me personally. The attorney made it clear that my
- 55:45Speaker 1: husband was being more than generous to let me stay
- 55:48Speaker 1: in the house and keep my car, and since I
- 55:50Speaker 1: signed a prenuptial agreement, I wouldn't be getting a penny
- 55:55Speaker 1: more than the two hundred thousand dollars check he left
- 55:58Speaker 1: for me. This made me feel like my marriage was
- 56:01Speaker 1: just a business transaction the whole time. I think my
- 56:05Speaker 1: husband has started dating again. Should I keep trying to
- 56:08Speaker 1: save my marriage or move on? Please advise move on
- 56:12Speaker 1: and move on immediately, okay, because yeah, your husband is
- 56:16Speaker 1: done and I can't even feel sorry for you here.
- 56:20Speaker 1: You are a woman with everything, I mean everything, Okay.
- 56:25Speaker 1: You got beauty, You got a wealthy, faithful, devoted, attentive,
- 56:31Speaker 1: loving husband. These are your words. You have a beautiful home,
- 56:34Speaker 1: a beautiful lifestyle, a life many women it could only
- 56:39Speaker 1: dream of, and you messed it up for just a
- 56:42Speaker 1: dude at the gym with a great body. I mean,
- 56:45Speaker 1: you threw your fairy tale life away for a six
- 56:49Speaker 1: month fling, and it probably would have gone on longer
- 56:51Speaker 1: than that if you hadn't gotten caught. You didn't say
- 56:54Speaker 1: your husband was a cheater in the letter. You didn't
- 56:57Speaker 1: say he beat you. You didn't say he was control
- 57:01Speaker 1: all you. You just hinted that, you know, maybe he
- 57:04Speaker 1: was a little older and maybe out of shape, because
- 57:06Speaker 1: you said you like bad boys and the guy at
- 57:10Speaker 1: the gym had the best body you'd ever seen. Um,
- 57:13Speaker 1: so you cheat it because your husband is older and
- 57:16Speaker 1: not a bad boy. A bad mistake, I'll tell you that,
- 57:20Speaker 1: and not really it was really a stupid mistake, okay,
- 57:24Speaker 1: because you risked it all. You risked everything for nothing.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I mean, well, I have to tell you spend your
- 57:32Speaker 1: two hundred thousand dollars wisely because that's all you're getting.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You signed the pre nup. I hope you learned a
- 57:39Speaker 1: lesson from all of this, I really do. You just
- 57:42Speaker 1: can't take a good husband and a good marriage for granted. Um.
- 57:46Speaker 1: You know, he had you signed the pre nup for
- 57:48Speaker 1: a reason, and he also had you followed. Okay, you
- 57:52Speaker 1: were reckless. You were reckless. You were just reckless in
- 57:56Speaker 1: the gym with this guy. But your husband still gave
- 57:59Speaker 1: you money, so he was still being kind to you.
- 58:02Speaker 1: He gave you the house, the car. This was no
- 58:05Speaker 1: business deal, so don't try to put it on that.
- 58:07Speaker 1: How very immature of you to even think that. I
- 58:11Speaker 1: just think you just ruined this with your trifling disregard
- 58:15Speaker 1: for the vows you took with your husband. Period. And
- 58:19Speaker 1: you're done. He's done, You're out, Steve. Great answer, Sharlotte.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Normally I couldn't add no more to that, but you
- 58:26Speaker 1: know I will, of course. Yeah, that's cause you trifling.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Thank you. It's good and trifling. He's treating me like
- 58:35Speaker 1: a bad business deal. How was you treating him? See,
- 58:39Speaker 1: people always want to label what's happening to them without
- 58:42Speaker 1: labeling what's happening to the other person. He's treating me
- 58:46Speaker 1: like a bad business deal. How were you treating him?
- 58:50Speaker 1: You're thirty four year old divorce former model and beauty
- 58:54Speaker 1: pageant winner. God has been wrote all over this letter.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Five years ago, I met and married the most perfect man.
- 59:04Speaker 1: My husband's a CEO of a major company, so we
- 59:06Speaker 1: had here's when you noticed letter's not good major company.
- 59:10Speaker 1: We had an ideal lifestyle. She didn't say she had

- 59:21Speaker 1: wealthy and beautiful. I'm assuming he was older, wealthy and whatever,
- 59:27Speaker 1: with a passion for bad boys. This is how the
- 59:31Speaker 1: letter keeps getting worse. You married a man because not
- 59:34Speaker 1: of the marriage, but of the lifestyle. But when you
- 59:38Speaker 1: married this older square dude who's making a lot of
- 59:41Speaker 1: money because he's a CEO. Oh you have a passion
- 59:46Speaker 1: for bad boys, Well that's who you should have married.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I went to the gym daily in a year ago.
- 59:52Speaker 1: I met a man at my that was my age. Okay,
- 59:55Speaker 1: there you go. That's cute with the best body I've
- 59:58Speaker 1: ever seen in my life. I started sneaking around and
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: sleeping with the guy, although my husband was here's the
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: woman who has a devoted, loving, and very attentive husband.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: But that wasn't enough because guess what she needed Having
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: this affair with the guy from the gym. It gave
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: me the rush I needed at the time. Oh you
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: need a rush. Oh you need the lifestyle, the attentative,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: the devotedness, the lifestyle. But you needed a rush too.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Hang up. Okay, yeah, we'll have part two of your
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: response coming up. At twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters subject he is treating me like a
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: bad business deal. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Steve, come on, Let's recap
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letters. Subject he is treating me like a
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: bad business deal. This dirty chick, Yeah, thirtyfold. He treating
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: me like a bad business deal. Perfect man. See yall
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: of a company obviously older than her. Now they have
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: the ideal lifestyle. She didn't say marriage, she said lifestyle.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Then she described herself as I was young, wealthy, beautiful,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: with a passion for bad boys. Excuse me, what you
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: get married for? Went to the gym daily and met
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: a man had the most beautiful body I've ever seen
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: in my life. You started sneaking around sleeping with the guy.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: All of your husband was devoted, loving and very attentive
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and having their fear or The affair with the guy
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: from the gym gave me the rush I needed. Now
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: this is a fair y'all went on for six months
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: and then she walks in the house. It was an
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: envelope in the kitchen had my name on it. See
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: this gangster. Now. The envelope contained the voice papers a
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: letter from my husband's attorney, a check for two hundred
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: thousand dollars and twenty nine pictures of me and the
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: guy I had been sleeping with. Twenty nine got your
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: ass on every angle that cover everything. Photographer was under
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the table. Take a picture, you got twenty nine picture
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: day ain't all with his zoom lives all right, So
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: now here you go. My breath and my life stopped immediately.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I tried to call my husband and beg for forgiveness
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: and plead with him, but he wouldn't take my calls.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: He threw his attorney called me and said he was
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: very and was very cold towards me, like he ain't
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: know me personally. He don't see lawyers worked for who
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: got the money? You don't have the money. So he's
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: been working for your husband the whole time. He the
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: one wrote you the two hundred thousand dollars checks. So
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: what is he to be friendly? Fun? And so the
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: attorney made it clear to my husband was being more
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: than generous to let me stay in the house, keep
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: your car, and since you signed a prenuptial agreement, I
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: wouldn't be getting a penny mold than the two hundred
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: thousand dollars check he left for me, not a damned dime.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: You can't go to court and ague about nothing, because
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: all twenty nine of them pictures is coming to court
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: and all he gonna be standing there man hurt crime
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: you on TV, And even the Strawberry letter is a
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: piece of evidence. Now, all this is everdence. I have
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: a passion for bad boys. I was at the gym
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: for six months. All this is everdence. You know, you
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: really kind of stupid, But Shelley was exactly right. You
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: threw away your life for mister muscles down at the gym.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Who and you? And and if he found out you
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: got two hundred thousand, you ain't gonna have that long
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: because he don't have two hundred thousand. Tell you right now,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: he don't have two hundred thousand. But he don't. Yes,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: surely she acts like she doesn't get it. No, she doesn't.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: That's why I'm talking to a craze. And did this
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: made me feel like my marriage was just a business transaction.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: That's how you treated it. You didn't say you had
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: the ideal marriage. You said you had the ideal lifestyle. Okay,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: so now since you got what you wanted and you
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: beautiful and informal pageant winning all this hit thirty four
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: with a with a passion for hot boys for bad boys. Okay,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that's it. Dare you have it? Dare you have it?
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: And now he knew something was up because y'all be
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: thinking these cats and stupid. These dudes ain't stupid. How
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: do you think he got where he at? People that
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: get up there in life, they don't get up there
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: because they're stupid, because they're hard working there and they're smart.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: You all down at the gil and coming home with
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: tot little pieces of T shirt snapped onto your brawl,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: empty ass card and the muscle milk in the back
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: of your car, little tale tale signs. You got being gay,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: y'all on your arm? How you got being gay on
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: your arm? Your arm ain't hurting because you had your
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: arms around there on his back, bad boy, bad boy.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: I think my husband had started dating again. Should I
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: keep trying to save my marriage or move on? You
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: don't have a marriage. You got two hundred thousand. Let
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: me tell you something, man, when a man cut you
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: a check, he threw with your ass. Yeah, I'll tell
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: you that right now. If he was gonna work on
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: the marriage. You wouldn't have got to check. You got
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: the check to pitch, use the car key, and won't
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: show ass out in the house. Go back down that
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: to that gym, to little muscle boy and find you've
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: been to find out he don't make two hundred thousand
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: dollars in three years. Wow, that's no sins going down.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Now take them pictures with you because you're trifling and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you got what you deserve and you're lucky getting that
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: two hundred thousand. Namely he wrote that ship because let
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: me tell you something. You you you you could go
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: to court and he could get out of that two hundred,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: but he ain't even got time for you because you're trifling.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Take the two hundred going with your little life. It
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: ain't much left for going, all right, Steve, post your
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: comments on today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey FM on
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook, and please don't forget to check out
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast undemand coming up at forty six
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: minutes after the hour today, Georgia will be reopening certain
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: businesses and the president, through Governor Kemp straight under the bus.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this you're listening to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: show well, today is the day the Georgia's governor, Brian Kemp.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Brian Kemp is reopening certain businesses like barbershops, like beauty shops,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: like nail salon's, tattoo parlors, bowling alleys, things that love
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: that nature. Yesterday, President Trump through Governor Kemp under the
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: bus and said he was not happy with him. This
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: comes the day after the President praised Kemp for his
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: decision of opening the state of Georgia. Now, which is it?
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Sick of it? Back and forth? Isn't a good idea? Yeah?
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: He strongly disagrees with the Governor of Georgia. Understand. You know,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: people who vote for Trump, I got you voted for
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: him the first time, but after this behavior and you
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: go back and then vote for him again. I questioned
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: your your motive at this point, because at first you
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: could have wrote it off. You thought he would be
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: great for the country because he was a businessman. But
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: why is he great for the country now? Yeah, Well,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: we wouldn't be in this mess of the country, wouldn't
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: if he had acted sooner as our leader. Major problem
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: what this guy has done? Yeah? Yeah, four years and
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: that and that lady Nevada got to be kidding him,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: that Mayor Nevada, they got to be kinder Las Vegas.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I've I've having witness a dumber group of elected efficients.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I Jesus, these people. Why didn't get to these people
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: from him? I mean because at this point, I mean,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you really got to be wondering who really voted for Trump.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: And what's really alarming is who's gonna go back in
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: there and vote for him again, and what's their reasoning
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: for doing it? People that don't want to be wrong.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I'm a little scared. I think people, you know, I
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: don't know. I think most of the people don't buy
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: anything that he's saying. But he still has a group
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: of people that believe every word and that he's doing
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: a good job. Right. And if we don't get out
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: and vote for Joe Biden when he becomes a nominee,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I mean, it's he's gonna win again for another four years.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: There are far more disgruntled people, but you have to
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: get out there and yeah and vote. Man, we have
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: to do our civic duty, and yeah, we can't deal
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: with this. And the President himself said a couple of
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: days ago that he thinks he's going to win by
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: a landslide. Yeah, well I don't see that right there.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: He can't win by a landslide. Not if everybody that's
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: disc everybody is dissatisfied with a vote, there's no way
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: he could win. Okay, all right, Well, I hope you're right.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I hope you're right. Okay, Joe Biden's got to bring
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: it means all right? Coming up at the top of
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the hour, Jay Anthony Brown is here with things teachers
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: are seeing while video conferencing. We'll talk about that right
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: a lot of parents are adjusting to the new normal

- 1:10:51Speaker 1: teacher and a principle. These are some of the things
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: that they're seeing as they're trumph to homeschool. These crazy
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: kids with your parents with crazy kids, crazy crazy ass kids.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: They're trying to teach, and this is some of the
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: stuff that's going on. Danielle, could you tell your granddaddy
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: to get out of the background and go put some
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: draws on so I can do my class? Okay, okay,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: this is just some of the things that teach us
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: going through trying to teach online. Who's ever playing Drake?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Whoever's playing break? Could you turn that down off? That's
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: all we need so I'm trying to teach class online. Marrabeth, Marybeth,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: could you stop picking your nose? We can see that. Okay,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: we can see all right, all right, Claude, Claude, It's
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: not time for your lunchables right now. We're only here
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: for forty minutes. Could you not eat now? Okay, okay,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: all right before we finish. Who the hell is beating
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: on the table? Who's doing that beating on the table? Yeah? Silvia,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: leave taking Mickey mouse ears off. We're trying to have glass, okay.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Connell Cornell, Cornell, could you back up off of the screen.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Just not so fun. You can see up your nose,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Just back up a little bit. Lisha name, who, lisha name,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: lisha Name tell your friend she can braid your hair
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: when class is over. Stop. Yeah, we'll beat just only
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: forty minutes and then we out of here. Zoe, Zoe, Zoe.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Somebody calls Zoe on his cell phone and wake his
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: ass up. Okay, this is just some of the stuff
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: teachers are dealing with, trying trying to have class on
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: that rusted I know, damn well, you're not rolling the
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: joint in my class. I tell me, I'm not seeing that.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I loved man, we love our teachers. But you know what,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: the parents are finally seeing how these kids are not
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: paying attention. They see, they see note, this's him with
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: the teachers see all the time. Yeah, yeah, we owe
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: a debt of gratitude to our Oh my god, sure
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: for sure, for sure. They talk about because the home
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: teachers do not have the patience at all. My my
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: wife do not have the patience. I've watched them try
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: to do this. It don't work because your wife, no, no, no, no,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: she's the home teacher. I am the cafeteria. I'm over,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I'm over food and peat and they have yet to
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: come to pet once. They can't once what have you?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: What have you cooked? I'll be cooking them stuff. They

- 1:16:06Speaker 1: who knew? Yeah, yeah, call her face, show them on

- 1:18:14Speaker 1: moment when you just thought it was all over for you.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: But well, well, you know, probably the thing that all
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: gotten me down the most. You know, people people were
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: blaming me, you know, for messing up their clothes. You know,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: everybody had something to say about me messing up their clothes.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: And when they say, right down on my chest, it's
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: got right there, do not mix with colors again now
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: now now not colored people were talking about colored clothes. See,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I don't think I don't think nobody used were colored people.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: When I first started, it was a very popular saying
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: that colored you don't know what they were talking about
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: clothes on people when I first come out, you know,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: when it was all right there, But it's not correct
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: to say that anymore politically, you know, they don't say
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: that anymore. Yeah, but you know, but then there was
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: a lot of things, you know, and you know, just
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: the whole thing about you know, when I used to
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: have to I was being always put on the bottom
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: shelf down there. You know people people just walk by
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: you like you won't even exist. You know. I used
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: to be down there on the bottom shelf and I
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: could hear them standing over me talking about Note, we're
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: the toilet paper. We're to hear down the ware, the
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: laws all. We're talking about lights all for you see
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: me downhill. Lights all. Don't kill a damn thing, old
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: punk ass, soft ass house cleaner. Coming out of my
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's the last break of
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: this day. That's the clap for the second photo close,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: and we'll also have some closing remarks. You want to
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: hear them. You don't want to miss these closing remarks
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: coming up in forty nine minutes after from the One
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: and the Only Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it was a good day.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: This is our last break of the day. Yeah, and
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: of the week. Good morning, Yeah, Yeah, special guests this morning. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: y'all get out in the streets. Not baby can We
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: had Rocks? I mean, yeah, I love Cloe Rocks. Yeah,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: we know Cloe Rocks is aggressive though Jay scro it's
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: one of them. It's one of them. He don't do fruit,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: he don't do what I like, I don't do. We
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: can't lights all for that. Well, Steve, it is the
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: day that the governor has opened up the state of Georgia. Yeah,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: let me, let me. Let me talk about this in
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: my closing because I think this is important. Today is
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: today that the state of Georgia has opened up. I
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: don't care what nobody's say. Forget all of that. Atlanta
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: is Georgia. Georgia is Atlanta. If you take Atlanta and
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Hartsfield Airport out of here, they're closed this state down.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: This is how much of a metropolis that Atlanta has become.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Has probably the busiest airport in this nation. It's only
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: two at one. The only only one can rival it,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I think is Denver. But this is busy man. This
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: governor has made a decision, and only God knows what
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: the decision is for. But it is based on nothing
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: about concern for us. I live in Atlanta. Are several
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: of us on the Morning show live in Atlanta. There
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: is nothing in this that shows that he cares about
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: the constituents of this city. Now listen to me, man,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: This to this man is talking about doing. For lack
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: of a better word, this is flat out stupidity. This
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: is reckless behavior. It's downright really criminal what he's doing
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: because he's sending the wrong message against all doctors, all science,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: the Center for Disease Control, then the Coronavirus Task Force,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: no by female, every agency, all of the healthcare workers
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: on the front line, the first responders. Everyone to the
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: letter says it's too early to come back. We have nothing,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and we're gonna endanger our lives. At a barbershop, so
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: we can go get a haircut, so we can get
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: a perm or get our hair put into get it,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: get a setting rot what so we can go bowling?
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: Are we that simple of a people? So we can
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: go bowling? You've got to be kidding me, man, You've
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: really did This is absurd. This makes no damn logical
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: sense at all. I want us as a people to
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: show everybody that we are thinking people, that we are
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: not irresponsible people. Look and this dude right here and
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: the things that he's opened and listened to me, Man,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: this this don't smell right to me at all. This
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: reeks of something else that has happened to us. In
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: the past many times before. It just seems sold sold rotten.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Who is this guy? Why did Why is Georgia first?
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: Why such a huge city of Atlanta? You already know
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: who live in Atlanta? Why the particular institutions, Why barbershops,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: hand salons, nel salons, bowling alleys? Why are the places tattoo? Paulis?
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Why he picked up the people who are in business
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: who make That's a tough way to live where you
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: have to have other people coming in at close close
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: quarters in order for your job to be performed. You know,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: this is amazing, man. He didn't open up the stores
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: or the gas stations and stores with the plexiglass on it.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: He opened up businesses that require up close and personal contact.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: If you go bowling, man, you have to put your
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: fingers down in a hole, and somebody else had already
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: had their fingers in. It's sort of distincts a little
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: bit to me, man, that these particular businesses require very
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: close contest contact in order to perform the service. In
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: other words, it's almost like you can't miss if you infected,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: you can't misspassing it on because you're that close to
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: the person. This ain't just opening a business man. I
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: could see if it was a grocery store or something,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: and you could practice social discing. None of these business
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: is massage parlors, tattoo parlors, haircuts, nail salangs, beauty salangs.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: None of these can you practice social distancing. Something's wrong
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: with this decision here, and I'll be damned if we're
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: gonna beat the guinea pigs for this experiment. To this man,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: it's happened because he don't give a damn about you.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: You know why, because Kemp No, you didn't vote for
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: him in the first place. He didn't win Atlanta. He
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: warned the outskirts of Georgia, all out in Rome and
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: all that he didn't win Atlanta. But if Atlanta ain't here,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: he can get reelected. Oh oh oh, y'all stay home today,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: y'all stay safe this weekend. Man, I feel like cousin,
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: stay your ass at home. It's best. Why don't take
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: your ass to none of that monkey mans? Stay talking
