- 0:02Speaker 1: There is a big story that is happening out on
- 0:05Speaker 1: the West coast, and you may be hearing the words hepatitis, malaria, HIV, TB, ebola.
- 0:12Speaker 1: The list is tied to was shocking California warehouse lab
- 0:18Speaker 1: and what was labeled as a major national security threat
- 0:23Speaker 1: Chinese nationals now being indicted. The House Select Committee report
- 0:27Speaker 1: describes thousands of samples with labeled and unlabeled and encoded vials,
- 0:33Speaker 1: including items labeled HIV, malaria, COVID, plus a freezer that
- 0:39Speaker 1: was labeled with a bola and other concerning materials. Local
- 0:44Speaker 1: reporting about the Las Vegas cases referencing these findings when
- 0:49Speaker 1: describing the similarities between the two now locations that are
- 0:53Speaker 1: tied to one another, one in California and now one
- 0:57Speaker 1: in Las Vegas. Search warrants. We're executed, We're being told.
- 1:01Speaker 1: On Saturday, a residence in Las Vegas in the Northeast Valley,
- 1:07Speaker 1: multiple outlets there and the news are describing the area
- 1:11Speaker 1: as well, not that bad and what was discovered was
- 1:14Speaker 1: truly shocking.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Here's more of that from Fox at two half past
- 1:20Speaker 2: the hour.
- 1:20Speaker 3: A possible biological lab inside a Las Vegas home now
- 1:23Speaker 3: under investigation. A federal investigation agenciesing vials of unknown liquids
- 1:30Speaker 3: and probing a potential link to a Chinese national accused
- 1:34Speaker 3: of running a similar lab in California that held deadly pathogens.
- 1:38Speaker 3: A senior National correspondent, William Lagenessa's reporting live on this
- 1:41Speaker 3: out of Los Angeles for US.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Hello William, well Sandra. Two amazing things about this story. One,
- 1:46Speaker 4: the man who owns that Vegas lab. He's a Chinese
- 1:49Speaker 4: scientist linked to the ccp IS and has been in
- 1:52Speaker 4: jail the last three years. Secondly, the lab is not
- 1:56Speaker 4: an FDA licensed facility, but it's in a house in Vegas,
- 2:00Speaker 4: rated Saturday morning by the FBI SWAT pulling out boxes
- 2:03Speaker 4: of what police believe are hazardous biological agents and pathogens
- 2:08Speaker 4: normally found in a secure university or industrial lab with
- 2:11Speaker 4: air locks designed to prevent an outbreak.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Almost immediately, investigator observed multiple refrigerators, a freezer, and other
- 2:21Speaker 5: laboratory type equipment, along with numerous bottles and jugs containing
- 2:26Speaker 5: unknown liquid substances.
- 2:29Speaker 4: So the Vegas lab, according to police, belongs to sixty
- 2:31Speaker 4: two year old Jew By Jew, a scient a Chinese national,
- 2:35Speaker 4: and a fugitive who also goes by the alias David He.
- 2:38Speaker 4: He was arrested in twenty twenty three for manufacturing unlicensed
- 2:41Speaker 4: medical devices and lying about unapproved HIV and pregnancy teskets
- 2:46Speaker 4: that he was selling. He also operated this illicit biolab
- 2:51Speaker 4: in an abandoned warehouse in Reaveley, California, where investigators found
- 2:55Speaker 4: thousands of vials of blood and tissue a thousand genetically
- 2:59Speaker 4: engineered mice designed to carry the COVID virus, and CDC
- 3:03Speaker 4: tests did show the vials contained HIFA, covid, hepatitis, herpes,
- 3:08Speaker 4: and malaria. Police arrested Ju and he's been in jail
- 3:12Speaker 4: ever since. Congressional investigators link the lab to the Chinese
- 3:16Speaker 4: Communist Party, a tie that also suggests the same people
- 3:20Speaker 4: are behind the Vegas lab.
- 3:22Speaker 5: What do we think these people were doing with those
- 3:26Speaker 5: substances in the house, And I'll tell you the truth
- 3:29Speaker 5: is is we don't know yet.
- 3:31Speaker 4: So House investigators say Ju got financing from mainland China
- 3:36Speaker 4: to create dozens of companies here and Canada. He employed
- 3:39Speaker 4: mostly Chinese nationals to steal American intellectual property and transfer
- 3:44Speaker 4: to China. His trial begins in April.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You listen to this story and it's in multiple places,
- 3:50Speaker 1: and now it also stretches to Canada, and what the
- 3:54Speaker 1: FDA and the DOJ are alleging is that this man
- 3:58Speaker 1: was manufacturing and importing and sold large volumes of COVID
- 4:02Speaker 1: nineteen and other test kits without proper authorization or permits.
- 4:07Speaker 1: He also misbranded or made false representations about those kits.
- 4:12Speaker 1: In twenty twenty four, the indictment summary, prosecutors alleged a
- 4:16Speaker 1: conspiracy and wired fraud scheme one point seven million involving
- 4:21Speaker 1: importing and misrepresentation of the test kits, including claims the
- 4:25Speaker 1: tests were made in the US and where FDA approved
- 4:29Speaker 1: when they were not. Local officials and congressional investigators emphasized
- 4:33Speaker 1: that the Reedley site had large volumes let me say
- 4:39Speaker 1: that again, large volumes of biological samples and lab mice.
- 4:45Speaker 1: You heard that in the report there from Fox and
- 4:47Speaker 1: criticized aspects of the federal public health response. You move
- 4:52Speaker 1: now to what happens Saturday in Las Vegas. Officials have
- 4:55Speaker 1: not publicly stated a definitive motive yet the investigation is
- 4:59Speaker 1: being described is methodical while testing all that they're finding,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and for good reasons. So how did the case even
- 5:07Speaker 1: come to light?
- 5:08Speaker 2: In Vegas.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Reporting from ABC News says the investigation began as a
- 5:13Speaker 1: code violation call, and once authority suspected possible hazards biological materials,
- 5:20Speaker 1: the Joint Terrorism Task Force took over local reporting from
- 5:24Speaker 1: the Las Vegas Review Journal. Adds at a housecleaner tip
- 5:28Speaker 1: and subsequent illnesses reported were part of the investigative materials
- 5:34Speaker 1: and the narrative in the arrest report.
- 5:36Speaker 2: On the ground in Las Vegas.
- 5:38Speaker 1: We now have the Federal Bureau of Investigations the Las
- 5:41Speaker 1: Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and they executed the warrant, treating
- 5:45Speaker 1: it as a hazardous site, collecting more than a thousand samples,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and then sent the evidence for lab testing. Officials say
- 5:55Speaker 1: there is no immediate public threat while the investigation continues.
- 5:59Speaker 1: The good news now additional follow up on the activity
- 6:03Speaker 1: is also part of this investigation. The Las Vegas raid
- 6:07Speaker 1: also prompted an additional federal search back at the Readley
- 6:11Speaker 1: Link property and then the US Department of Justice for
- 6:15Speaker 1: the Eastern District of California. They already announced the arrest
- 6:18Speaker 1: back in October of twenty twenty three, and the indictment
- 6:21Speaker 1: in November twenty twenty three. Charges focusing on the miss
- 6:25Speaker 1: branding and the all the medical devices and false statements
- 6:29Speaker 1: given by the Chinese national working for the Chinese Communist Party.
- 6:33Speaker 1: US Food and Drug Administration describes at twenty twenty four
- 6:38Speaker 1: indictment adding conspiracy and wire fraud allegation, and they laid
- 6:42Speaker 1: out the alleged test kit import and marketing scheme as well.
- 6:47Speaker 1: The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party publicized
- 6:50Speaker 1: the findings on the REALLY lab and criticized the CDC's
- 6:54Speaker 1: response to it as well. A House member is pushing
- 6:57Speaker 1: legislation now titled the Preventing Illegal Laboratories and Protecting Public
- 7:04Speaker 1: Health Act of twenty twenty five and urging a hearing
- 7:07Speaker 1: after the Las Vegas development has unfolded over the last
- 7:11Speaker 1: few days. Now, what exactly is in the Las Vegas vials,
- 7:16Speaker 1: we don't know. The testing is ongoing, but what we
- 7:19Speaker 1: do know is very quote concerning now whether the Las
- 7:23Speaker 1: Vegas location was operational as a lab or use for
- 7:27Speaker 1: storage or linked to the REALLY test kit scheme is
- 7:31Speaker 1: a direct operational way that investigators are building this picture out.
- 7:36Speaker 1: One thing that is for sure, investigators found thousands of
- 7:41Speaker 1: vials of blood and tissue genetically engineered mice designed to
- 7:46Speaker 1: carry COVID. Tests show the vials did contain COVID hepatitis malaria,
- 7:52Speaker 1: and investigators are now linking these two labs together, but
- 7:57Speaker 1: more importantly, linking them to the Chinese Communist Party, which
- 8:02Speaker 1: brings up an even bigger issue. Why are we continuing
- 8:05Speaker 1: to allow Chinese nationals, which ties the CCP, into the
- 8:10Speaker 1: United States of America. Why are we opening up our
- 8:13Speaker 1: universities when we know that so many that are coming
- 8:15Speaker 1: here are in fact spies. That is the question that
- 8:19Speaker 1: so many are asking, and more importantly, it's about time
- 8:23Speaker 1: that we all demand answers to those questions.
- 8:28Speaker 2: It is signed.
- 8:29Speaker 1: President Donald Trump has signed the bill to reopen the
- 8:33Speaker 1: government following the Democrat government shut down. It was a
- 8:37Speaker 1: partial shutdown, but it was a significant moment as Republicans
- 8:41Speaker 1: went straight to the Oval Office and made it very
- 8:44Speaker 1: clear that Americans need to understand what is in this
- 8:47Speaker 1: bill and what is working for you. Speaker Mike Johnson
- 8:51Speaker 1: speaking first, saying this standing next to the President in
- 8:54Speaker 1: the Oval Office, no big thing. It seems like a
- 8:57Speaker 1: small thing, but it's a big thing, and we're spending
- 8:59Speaker 1: less money.
- 8:59Speaker 6: You're every year and.
- 9:00Speaker 7: With all the innovations and things that you said there.
- 9:02Speaker 7: This is good for the country and America is back.
- 9:05Speaker 7: The hat is appropriate. It's right right slow, it's a
- 9:07Speaker 7: new hat. We just came out. America is back book
- 9:11Speaker 7: seeing and stilled. Look at her, she's never swelling. He
- 9:14Speaker 7: never see her. Splum somebody, I'll here her small, miss President,
- 9:18Speaker 7: And I.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Mentioned that there's significant healthcare reform in this field, BEM reform,
- 9:22Speaker 8: something that you have been working on, and we appreciate
- 9:25Speaker 8: and applaud your efforts bringing drug prices down for citizens
- 9:29Speaker 8: here in America. Not only that, but we extended telehealth
- 9:33Speaker 8: and also we are addressing maternal mortality in this bill.
- 9:38Speaker 8: Rural health here has been a big part of your
- 9:41Speaker 8: of your focus, and we appreciate that.
- 9:43Speaker 7: Thank you very much. Thank you.
- 9:44Speaker 9: You know, a very big thing I think for all
- 9:46Speaker 9: of us is most favored nations on drug pricing. So
- 9:51Speaker 9: for thirty years I've been talking about it more than that,
- 9:53Speaker 9: and it's basically we now will take many prescription drugs
- 9:58Speaker 9: will come down to the lowest price anywhere in the world.
- 10:01Speaker 9: So if a country is selling a pill for ten
- 10:05Speaker 9: dollars and we're selling it for one, hundred and thirty dollars,
- 10:08Speaker 9: which is not much of an exaggeration at all. We
- 10:12Speaker 9: were paying the highest drug prices anywhere in the world.
- 10:14Speaker 9: Now we'll be paying tied with the lowest price. It's
- 10:18Speaker 9: most Favored Nations. We will have the lowest price anywhere.
- 10:22Speaker 7: In the world. So a pill that was for one
- 10:25Speaker 7: hundred and thirty dollars will be down to twenty dollars.
- 10:28Speaker 9: So you can make a case of that's eight hundred
- 10:31Speaker 9: nine hundred percent, or like the press likes to hear,
- 10:34Speaker 9: it's about eighty percent. But we're going to get reductions
- 10:38Speaker 9: like nobody's ever seen, and frankly, the Republican Party should
- 10:42Speaker 9: be able to win the midterms on that alone. That's
- 10:44Speaker 9: the biggest thing there is. Most Favored Nations. We're going
- 10:48Speaker 9: to be bringing the price of drugs down. In my
- 10:51Speaker 9: first term, I got it down one eighth of one percent,
- 10:54Speaker 9: and I was so proud because it was the first
- 10:56Speaker 9: time in twenty eight years that drug prices came down.
- 11:00Speaker 7: And now we're talking about bringing it.
- 11:02Speaker 9: Down by eighty ninety, seventy five, sixty eight. I have
- 11:09Speaker 9: numbers in the back that nobody can believe. Most Favorite
- 11:11Speaker 9: Nations and remember the Republicans did that. The Democrats did
- 11:15Speaker 9: not do that. Republicans did it. And that's going to
- 11:18Speaker 9: have a huge impact also in healthcare, because medicine, I mean,
- 11:22Speaker 9: it's a big chunk of healthcare. And if you're bringing
- 11:25Speaker 9: something down from one hundred dollars down to twenty dollars,
- 11:31Speaker 9: eighteen dollars, because we were subsidizing the entire world, and frankly,
- 11:37Speaker 9: I had to get the countries to go along with it,
- 11:39Speaker 9: and I had to threaten tariffs against them if they
- 11:41Speaker 9: didn't approve. And the healthcare companies who weren't easy either,
- 11:45Speaker 9: but they said it doesn't.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Matter because they'll never get the countries because.
- 11:49Speaker 9: Anyone want to do it. And I got the countries.
- 11:51Speaker 9: They got every one of them. And really is people
- 11:56Speaker 9: can't even believe it. But for the people standing behind me,
- 12:00Speaker 9: you should. If you use that alone, you should win.
- 12:03Speaker 9: We should win the elections coming up. Anybody else how
- 12:07Speaker 9: about this said we mentioned the.
- 12:09Speaker 10: Irs as president, their behavior has been atrocious. If you
- 12:13Speaker 10: think about leaking your tax returns the tax returns of others,
- 12:16Speaker 10: and never any accountability. I must have questioned Jennet Yell
- 12:19Speaker 10: four times five times under oath about this and never
- 12:22Speaker 10: an answer. We stipped ten million dollars from the irs
- 12:26Speaker 10: in this bill that.
- 12:27Speaker 7: You just signed.
- 12:28Speaker 10: And today I launched an investigation with my staff on
- 12:31Speaker 10: all of these contractors that are associated with the ones
- 12:34Speaker 10: that allowed your information to be put out. These contractors
- 12:37Speaker 10: that hire activists to come in and do their work,
- 12:40Speaker 10: These corporations here in America that bring access to in
- 12:44Speaker 10: to do their work.
- 12:45Speaker 7: That's going to come to an end. They did leak
- 12:48Speaker 7: my tax returns. It was terrible.
- 12:50Speaker 9: The good news is I paid a hell of a
- 12:51Speaker 9: lot of tax I paid tens of millions of dollars.
- 12:55Speaker 9: I said, where are my accountants? I want to talk
- 12:57Speaker 9: to my account They linked by taxis and they didn't
- 13:01Speaker 9: do it in a nice way.
- 13:02Speaker 7: They can get something out of it now they.
- 13:05Speaker 11: Have bad people.
- 13:05Speaker 7: Acunability is coming though.
- 13:07Speaker 10: You think about the phone companies that leaked our telephone records,
- 13:10Speaker 10: several of us here right verizonly.
- 13:12Speaker 7: My telephone records.
- 13:14Speaker 10: You think about what's happened across the company.
- 13:17Speaker 7: This is going to come to an end.
- 13:18Speaker 9: We should have voter ID by the way, We should
- 13:20Speaker 9: have a lot of the things that I think everybody
- 13:23Speaker 9: wants to see. Who would not want voter ID. Only
- 13:26Speaker 9: somebody that wants to cheat.
- 13:28Speaker 7: Think of it.
- 13:29Speaker 9: We don't have voter ID, and the Democrats don't want it.
- 13:33Speaker 9: And the reason they don't want because they want to cheat,
- 13:35Speaker 9: Because there's no reason in the world. And I love
- 13:38Speaker 9: that debate, Lindsey. I love saying, well, why don't you
- 13:42Speaker 9: want voter ID and.
- 13:44Speaker 7: You watch them say, I don't know. I just made
- 13:47Speaker 7: them vote. Then it's a terrible thing. So anyway, anybody else.
- 13:52Speaker 12: What mister president, you said you wanted to make America
- 13:54Speaker 12: safer and more prosperous, right, and we have done it.
- 13:57Speaker 12: More prosperity needs more money in people's pockets. You notice
- 14:00Speaker 12: that every time they go to fill up with gas,
- 14:02Speaker 12: and they're going to know it when they get their
- 14:03Speaker 12: tax returns that this year are going to be at
- 14:05Speaker 12: least one thousand dollars, if not more greater than it's
- 14:08Speaker 12: been in the past. And that's the result of the
- 14:10Speaker 12: work that you've done with this whole group. And in
- 14:13Speaker 12: terms of America being safer, the number of us were
- 14:15Speaker 12: at the border two weeks ago.
- 14:17Speaker 7: The border is secure. No one is coming across, not
- 14:20Speaker 7: the ten thousand we saw every day with Joe Biden.
- 14:23Speaker 12: The American people still in overwhelming numbers, Republicans, Democrats, and
- 14:27Speaker 12: independents all say illegal immigrant criminals need to be deported.
- 14:31Speaker 7: And mister President, you're doing that. And no tax and tips,
- 14:37Speaker 7: no social security, no taxing or my people's pockets, thank
- 14:42Speaker 7: you of it.
- 14:42Speaker 9: And that was all the great big beautifu obil as
- 14:44Speaker 9: I call it, the great big beautifu obil.
- 14:46Speaker 7: To me, that's what it is.
- 14:47Speaker 9: And people are studying, and people are starting to realize
- 14:50Speaker 9: that a tax deduction on you if you borrowed buy
- 14:55Speaker 9: a car if it's made in America, only if it's made.
- 14:57Speaker 7: In America, and the rest of we don't care about
- 14:59Speaker 7: so much. But you buy a car, you get an
- 15:01Speaker 7: interest deduction.
- 15:02Speaker 9: You borrow money, you get an interest in tax deduction,
- 15:04Speaker 9: and that is you take interest you deducted against your attack.
- 15:10Speaker 9: So to me, that's unbelievable for the people, unbelievable for
- 15:14Speaker 9: our car companies, which is jobs anybody else outday.
- 15:16Speaker 13: This president, the biggest part of this bill is our
- 15:19Speaker 13: national security right, and thank you. The men and women
- 15:21Speaker 13: who served this country are grateful to you, and we
- 15:24Speaker 13: give them a pay raise for helping more ships, as
- 15:26Speaker 13: you said, planes missiles. We need to defend this country,
- 15:30Speaker 13: and you're doing a great job and leave us in.
- 15:32Speaker 7: The right direction. Thank you very much, Katie, go ahead, you're.
- 15:34Speaker 14: Going to say so, yeah, no, mis your president, this
- 15:37Speaker 14: is just unprecedented leadership. The fact that you've got everyone
- 15:40Speaker 14: to come together and actually get these bills across the
- 15:42Speaker 14: finish line. You heard it from the Speaker that that
- 15:44Speaker 14: hasn't happened in a long time. So ninety six percent
- 15:47Speaker 14: of the government being funded, your priorities put in place,
- 15:51Speaker 14: mister President, so that we can make the country safer,
- 15:53Speaker 14: we can make it more prosperous, and not only can
- 15:56Speaker 14: we make America great again, but we can help people.
- 15:58Speaker 9: Now America is Yeah, it's a great We'll never forget
- 16:02Speaker 9: Macga and we're all with Macga.
- 16:03Speaker 7: But this is very appropriate, right Sidy. I'd come on
- 16:09Speaker 7: say something.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Well, there's a little hospital in here, a rural hospital
- 16:13Speaker 5: in Maple, Mississippi, right, Franklin County Hospital.
- 16:17Speaker 7: It would have closed the end of this month without
- 16:20Speaker 7: this bill.
- 16:21Speaker 15: Thank you, Thank you from everybody in Mississippi, especially Franklin County.
- 16:25Speaker 7: And we've covered the rural very well.
- 16:28Speaker 9: Nobody ever thought it was possible because we had a
- 16:30Speaker 9: lot of opposition from the Democrats, as you know, but
- 16:34Speaker 9: nobody thought it was possible.
- 16:35Speaker 7: That's great, how about it? Anybody back there, Tom best
- 16:39Speaker 7: budget for Native Americans ever. President thanks good, so we'll
- 16:45Speaker 7: sign it. Then, if you would have some questions of
- 16:47Speaker 7: anybody up.
- 16:48Speaker 16: Here, let me just figure back you this rule America
- 16:51Speaker 16: is taken care of it in his middle and let
- 16:53Speaker 16: me as as Sidney says, so thank you for all
- 16:57Speaker 16: America and a spatially rural America.
- 16:59Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Thank President Trump there making it very clear it was
- 17:04Speaker 1: a team effort in so many different issues, as you
- 17:06Speaker 1: heard there with senators around him talking about what is
- 17:09Speaker 1: in this bill and it's partial shutdown of the Democrats
- 17:14Speaker 1: yet again trying to hold us hostage. Now it's all over,
- 17:19Speaker 1: you can go back to work in Congress and do
- 17:21Speaker 1: your actual job. The President making it clear he's going
- 17:25Speaker 1: to keep fighting, but he's giving many Americans exactly what
- 17:28Speaker 1: they need to succeed. And that's exactly what he said
- 17:32Speaker 1: his plan was when he ran for reelection. Voter ID
- 17:36Speaker 1: laws are something that conservatives, the GOP in general, and
- 17:40Speaker 1: certainly the president and I sits America. Donald Trump had
- 17:43Speaker 1: been focused on because we believe simply, and the President
- 17:47Speaker 1: has made it clear that every vote should be counted
- 17:52Speaker 1: and not canceled out by people that are cheating, that
- 17:55Speaker 1: are lying about who they are, are dead people voting,
- 17:59Speaker 1: or even UF ballot boxes with people that actually had
- 18:02Speaker 1: no intent of showing up to vote and someone else
- 18:05Speaker 1: voted on their behalf. Yes, there is voter fraud in
- 18:09Speaker 1: this country. And if you don't believe me, you can
- 18:12Speaker 1: just look online at stories and articles of people who
- 18:15Speaker 1: recently have gone to jail for voter fraud. Now, there's
- 18:19Speaker 1: also a simple way to overcome this problem, and that
- 18:24Speaker 1: is by having what now is being referred to as
- 18:27Speaker 1: a Save Act. The Save Act is very simple. It
- 18:31Speaker 1: explicitly adds a national photo ID requirement to voting Congress's
- 18:37Speaker 1: HR twenty two. The Save Act would require documentary proof
- 18:42Speaker 1: of US citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections
- 18:47Speaker 1: as well, and direct states to use certain processes to
- 18:51Speaker 1: ensure only citizens are on the voter rolls. The Save
- 18:56Speaker 1: America Act also has been introduced by Representative Chip Roy
- 19:01Speaker 1: and Senator Mike Lee. It describes as a new and
- 19:05Speaker 1: improved version that adds a voter ID requirement for voting
- 19:10Speaker 1: in federal elections, while keeping the proof of citizenship requirement
- 19:14Speaker 1: for registration, in essence taking it a step further. Make
- 19:19Speaker 1: elections great again, known as Mega Act, is another GOP
- 19:23Speaker 1: proposal that includes a national photo ID requirement and other
- 19:28Speaker 1: election administration changes. The issue also popped up inside broader
- 19:34Speaker 1: Capitol Hill negotiations, as some Republicans threatened to block a
- 19:39Speaker 1: shutdown ending deal unless it included citizenship and voter ID provisions.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Now we know that didn't ultimately happen because the government,
- 19:48Speaker 1: the partial shutdown is now over. But let me tell
- 19:52Speaker 1: you what the American people actually think about this. And
- 19:56Speaker 1: if you want to know what Democrats are doing, well,
- 19:59Speaker 1: there's certainly not listening to the American people. And even
- 20:03Speaker 1: CNN is saying overwhelmingly Democrats, Republicans, and independents are in
- 20:11Speaker 1: favor of photo ID laws.
- 20:15Speaker 17: Take a look here, favorite photo ID to vote. Eighty
- 20:17Speaker 17: five percent of white people favorite, eighty two percent of Latino,
- 20:20Speaker 17: seventy six percent of Black Americans favorite. So the bottom
- 20:24Speaker 17: line is this voter ID is not controversial in this country.
- 20:28Speaker 17: A photo ID to vote is not controversial in this country.
- 20:31Speaker 17: It is not controversial by party. And it is not
- 20:34Speaker 17: controversial by race. The vast majority of Americans agree with
- 20:37Speaker 17: Nicki Minaj that, in fact, you should have a photo
- 20:40Speaker 17: ID to be able to vote, so something of an.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Now you notice there they didn't even break it down
- 20:45Speaker 1: by Republican Democrats and independence. Instead they broke it down
- 20:48Speaker 1: by race. Why did they decide to do that on CNN?
- 20:52Speaker 1: For one simple reason. Democrats have been saying for decades
- 20:56Speaker 1: that if you ask a minority for their ID to vote,
- 20:59Speaker 1: that is somehow racist. And that's exactly how they've been
- 21:02Speaker 1: able to continue to cheat in elections by saying that
- 21:07Speaker 1: you are a racist person if you ask a minority
- 21:10Speaker 1: for their ID to vote. Well, look at the numbers. Now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: Black voters overwhelmingly seventy six percent, so they want photo
- 21:21Speaker 1: ID to vote. White's eighty five percent want it, and
- 21:25Speaker 1: Latinos at eighty two percent. So why would the Democrats
- 21:30Speaker 1: on the hill still say no, I'll say it simply
- 21:34Speaker 1: this way. It's because they want to be able to
- 21:36Speaker 1: still and alter election outcomes full stop. In fact, President
- 21:42Speaker 1: Trump making it clear on the record using this type
- 21:46Speaker 1: of data to make his point that yes, the American
- 21:49Speaker 1: people want this.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It's non political who would.
- 21:53Speaker 9: Not want voter a D. Only somebody that wants to
- 21:56Speaker 9: cheat think of it. But I have voter a D
- 22:00Speaker 9: and the Democrats don't want it. And the reason they
- 22:02Speaker 9: don't want because they want to cheat. Because there's no
- 22:05Speaker 9: reason in the world. And I love that debate why
- 22:08Speaker 9: don't you want voter ID?
- 22:11Speaker 7: And you watch them say, I don't know it.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I know why. The President knows why. It is because
- 22:17Speaker 1: Democrats want.
- 22:18Speaker 2: To be able to cheat.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Now, there's also a lot of pressure on those in
- 22:23Speaker 1: Congress to do the right thing, as massive amounts of
- 22:26Speaker 1: Americans are demanding that the Senate leader John Thune listen
- 22:31Speaker 1: to what the President just said and to Nicki Minaj
- 22:34Speaker 1: and force voter ID through the floor. Here's more about
- 22:38Speaker 1: that from Fox News.
- 22:40Speaker 15: Voter ID the Senate saying they may press forward and
- 22:44Speaker 15: try to push this act forward as past the House.
- 22:48Speaker 11: Take a listen to the polling on voter ID.
- 22:51Speaker 17: Normally you might expect, hey, there'd be a big divide
- 22:54Speaker 17: by party where Republicans really forwarding, Democrats really against it.
- 22:58Speaker 2: But not really here, I mean.
- 22:59Speaker 17: Just take a look here, favorite photo idea vote you
- 23:01Speaker 17: got ninety five percent of Republicans pretty much all of them,
- 23:04Speaker 17: but even seventy one percent of Democrats favorite photo idea vote,
- 23:08Speaker 17: it's not really all that controversial. The American people are
- 23:11Speaker 17: with Nicki Minaj, whether they are Republican or even if
- 23:15Speaker 17: they are Democrats.
- 23:16Speaker 15: He mentions Nicki Minaj because she put out on X
- 23:19Speaker 15: what's sensible, forward thinking, cutting edge, leading nation is having
- 23:22Speaker 15: a debate on whether or not there should be voter
- 23:24Speaker 15: ID like question mark. They're actually fighting not to have
- 23:27Speaker 15: people present ID while voting for your leaders. Do you
- 23:30Speaker 15: get it? Do you get it now? Is this a
- 23:34Speaker 15: winner for Republicans? Can they turn this into a winner.
- 23:37Speaker 2: As is typically the case?
- 23:38Speaker 11: Nicki Minaj just got it right.
- 23:40Speaker 18: On you on the police on the head voter idea.
- 23:43Speaker 18: I've been working on this thing no longer than I can.
- 23:45Speaker 11: Why do you think I asked you?
- 23:48Speaker 2: It is a no brainer.
- 23:49Speaker 18: It's always been a no brainer. It doesn't matter how
- 23:51Speaker 18: you break down the constituencies. The American people have always
- 23:54Speaker 18: been in favor of it.
- 23:55Speaker 11: There's to use an idea to get a beer.
- 23:57Speaker 18: You have to get on a plane, you have to
- 24:00Speaker 18: We built a society around it, as it turns out,
- 24:02Speaker 18: and so it would only make sense if you had
- 24:05Speaker 18: to vote with one two. I think they ought to
- 24:08Speaker 18: make these people vote on this as many times as
- 24:10Speaker 18: they can, because there is no defense for not wanting
- 24:14Speaker 18: voter ID.
- 24:14Speaker 11: At the polls.
- 24:15Speaker 18: But it continues to be an issue over and over again.
- 24:18Speaker 18: They ought to make this a dividing line. I don't
- 24:21Speaker 18: know if it's in the context of this DHS build.
- 24:23Speaker 18: They got enough stuff to try to figure out with
- 24:24Speaker 18: ice and everything else in a short time period, but
- 24:27Speaker 18: it really needs to be a central folk and.
- 24:29Speaker 11: They could get some Democrats.
- 24:30Speaker 7: Kid.
- 24:31Speaker 6: They certainly could get some Democrats. I point to my
- 24:33Speaker 6: adopted home state of South Carolina. The passed a bipartisan
- 24:36Speaker 6: bill involving voter ID extending early votes some drop locations
- 24:40Speaker 6: as well, got the Congressional Black Caucus in Columbia South
- 24:43Speaker 6: Carolina on board.
- 24:44Speaker 2: That can be a model.
- 24:44Speaker 6: It doesn't Democrats don't need to uniformly oppose this just
- 24:48Speaker 6: to stand in opposition to the president.
- 24:50Speaker 1: And yet that's exactly what they are going to do.
- 24:53Speaker 1: They're going to continue to stand in the way of
- 24:57Speaker 1: the president now. President Trump also told every Republican center
- 25:00Speaker 1: to their face that they must in the filibuster or
- 25:04Speaker 1: nothing will be passed. For three plus years, he said,
- 25:07Speaker 1: start tonight. Pass voter ID, no mail in voting, all
- 25:12Speaker 1: the things make our elections secure and safe. He said, then, John,
- 25:19Speaker 1: they've done a forever. The first time they haven't. They
- 25:23Speaker 1: won't do a cr they won't do any bills. If
- 25:27Speaker 1: you don't get it, you'll never pass voter ID. The
- 25:30Speaker 1: President went on to say, it's time for Republicans to
- 25:34Speaker 1: do what they have to do. Terminate the filibuster. If
- 25:37Speaker 1: you don't, you'll be in bad shape. We won't pass
- 25:40Speaker 1: any legislation, no legislation for three and a quarter years.
- 25:46Speaker 1: That is how the President is describing just how dysfunctional Washington,
- 25:50Speaker 1: DC is. Donald Trump also saying it's common sense. That's
- 25:56Speaker 1: another reason why we have to get it done.
- 25:59Speaker 9: You want to have voter ID, you want to insist
- 26:01Speaker 9: on it. You want to insist on it. Can you
- 26:05Speaker 9: imagine in California they not only don't have voter ID,
- 26:10Speaker 9: but if an official at the voting booths, which they
- 26:13Speaker 9: don't have by the way, because it's all male, if
- 26:15Speaker 9: an official, a voting official, even asks somebody for voter ID, sir,
- 26:23Speaker 9: would like to see your identification. Do you come from
- 26:27Speaker 9: our country? They put him in jail for tampering with
- 26:31Speaker 9: the election. Okay, we got to straighten this out before
- 26:35Speaker 9: it gets too crazy. California is more corrupt than any place.
- 26:40Speaker 9: California is more corrupt than Minnesota. And I won Minnesota. Well,
- 26:45Speaker 9: Tom's Gordon, I think.
- 26:47Speaker 7: So well, can't be proportionately.
- 26:50Speaker 9: Probably nothing's more corrupt, right, yeah, right, he says, you
- 26:55Speaker 9: gotta win. I'll tell you what I did. Great there
- 26:58Speaker 9: three times. I was surprised three times. That's those elections
- 27:02Speaker 9: are corrupt. They got you one time too. But I
- 27:04Speaker 9: heard a long time ago, but they got you. But
- 27:08Speaker 9: they got to straight those that.
- 27:09Speaker 7: But we have to have voter ID.
- 27:10Speaker 9: And you know, when you confront a Democrat about voter ID,
- 27:16Speaker 9: like in a debate or something, I said it a
- 27:18Speaker 9: couple of times with Biden. I just want they're very
- 27:21Speaker 9: embarrassed when they say we want voter ID. Voter identification
- 27:29Speaker 9: is the only reason somebody doesn't want that is because
- 27:32Speaker 9: they want to cheat. Our elections are crooked as hell,
- 27:36Speaker 9: and you can not only win elections over that, and
- 27:38Speaker 9: not only win future elections, but you'll win every debate
- 27:42Speaker 9: because the public is really angry about it, and you
- 27:45Speaker 9: wore to you are to pass the Safe Act or
- 27:48Speaker 9: whatever you're going to call is, are we going to
- 27:50Speaker 9: Save Act or the Save America Act. I think we're
- 27:53Speaker 9: going to change the name a little bit. You're gonna
- 27:54Speaker 9: put that up for a vote. I think everybody in
- 27:57Speaker 9: this room certainly should do it. And it's a bad
- 28:00Speaker 9: vote for them because they're voting against things like voter
- 28:02Speaker 9: ID and other things that are almost equal to voter ID.
- 28:06Speaker 9: But when somebody says, no, we don't want voter ID,
- 28:09Speaker 9: that means the crooked and the public understands that you
- 28:11Speaker 9: want elections with that. But I think it would be
- 28:14Speaker 9: really important Save America Act if you would put that
- 28:17Speaker 9: up for a vote.
- 28:18Speaker 7: It's got my total endorsement.
- 28:20Speaker 9: And all of it is this common sense things about the election.
- 28:24Speaker 9: And they'll fight it like crazy because.
- 28:26Speaker 11: They cheat it.
- 28:27Speaker 1: They'll fight it like crazy because they cheat. That is
- 28:31Speaker 1: exactly why the president's going to war on this issue
- 28:33Speaker 1: and not backing down. And the good news is he's
- 28:36Speaker 1: got the American people on this one behind him. So Republicans,
- 28:40Speaker 1: they better listen up and they better lead on the issue. Well,
