- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on?
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on?
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: Hello people?
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Hello people happy holidays to you.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to Humanity Unplug Podcasts.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm your host, Germaine McCrement, and we want to thank God for another day that we have entered into his peaceful place.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: of being here because we didn't have to wake up this morning, but we're here and we want to thank God for that.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: And also for wisdom and knowledge, you know, for understanding is nothing like being in your right state of mind when you have the understanding of normal what's going on.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: We like to thank everyone.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: for participating in our polls, commenting on our shorts, on all our social media pages for everyone, just hanging in there, stopping by, religiously or impassing, just saying hi.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: for the good comments, for the negative comments, for criticism, for whatever you feel is needed for you to get by your day and share with us.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: We thank you for that.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't bother us one bit.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: We're here just to give you information, and whether you like it or not, whether you receive it or not, whether you agree with what we think or what we talk about is okay.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but it's here, just as information and whether you take a minute and research the information and see how factual and accurate it is, that is up to you.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: That is your choice.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I will tell you in passing that when people say things that make sense, you need to just look into it if it's a topic that matters to you.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: So as we go through this topic, this is our 94th, I believe, episode 94th episode today part cast episode.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to talk about the mindset preparing your mind for the new year.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: And that is.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: not just a podcast, I think this will be somewhat of a workshop.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: This would allow you to pause, write things down, go back, reflect, run off information, different concepts and ideas that might can help you get a better mindset for the new year.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: If we concentrate on all the negative things in our past year,
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: We probably would come up with some better resolutions and ideas that can help us navigate through the same struggles if they re-accur the new year.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: So oftentimes we need to write down and sometimes reflect on things we have experience in the past.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: foundations and companies and families are built on a proper foundation or the past.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Things that happen in the past or the grounds of a solid house or grounds of a solid company grounds on the solid infrastructure is built on history what took place in the past.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: every year we need to take a time a minute a moment a second to reflect on what took place in our past.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: So we can have a better foundation set for the new year.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: Now, as I drink my coffee, I will run off a few things we might need to do or reflect on that might can help us in the foundation.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: This is nothing that's going to take place overnight.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: This is a work in progress mindset that you can get better if you put forth the effort to stop making the same mistake over and over.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: excuse me.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: So as we look forward and we look into this, the first thing we have to do is evaluate what is the mindset?
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: Some people have says mindset shapes how you interpret setbacks, commits to goals and keeps going, shifts a few daily habits and ways of thinking gives oversized returns over months.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: So that simply means that if you just look into what habits and what things you do and what you might have done wrong in the past, you could propel your future in the new year.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: So let's look at that.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: So some of the steps, the core steps they say, audit.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: That means you need to take evaluation of your patterns, what patterns you have.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, number two is refrain, limiting, limitations, and limits on your beliefs.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: So that means you need to have a faith, you need to have some type of belief, and you need not to put a limit on it, believe in whatever you believe that nothing is unreachable
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: The third thing is very important.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: The third thing is pick goals.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: You've got to pick some goals.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know, maybe you can pick three immediate goals coming into the new year.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: Three immediate goals that you can achieve.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: this year coming, write it down.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we need to put it on a board.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we need to put on piece of paper, put it in crayon, pin, marker, whatever you like to put it on, but put it on paper and put it up where you can see it every day.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: And you can look at it and check off as you move forward in achieving each gold.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's very important that we look at things, our eyes instantly reflect.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: something in our mind and remembering what the task we set forth on something when we see it.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to believe me.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: Just put it in action and see what it work for you.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: If you constantly see that one question on the wall that's not answered, some of the things we do with internally and unexpectedly is we answer questions that we constantly see.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: We answer and fix problems that are costly there in front of us.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes when we don't put this stuff in paper on or visible where it's right in front of us, we don't seem to act on the problem because it's not in our everyday site.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of times for us to get more efficient, we have to be able to see it visually,
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: It just happens like that.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: lot of people might tell you different, and it's okay.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone has their own opinion on how they get by the year, on the goals, on their mindsets, no one is wrong, no one is right.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: The things I'm telling you are things that maybe work for me and perhaps they can work for you.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: But you have to have an open mind that things need to change in order for it to get better.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because one thing for certain, two things for sure,
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: You've been doing this for the last three years, two years and you are in the same place you was when you started two or three years ago.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have to take a brain and open it up and look at it to tell that we have a problem.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is what you're doing is not working.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: What you're executing is not giving you the traffic or production that you want out of what you're doing.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's that simple.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: If you keep taking a test and you keep filling it, maybe need to change the literature that you're studying.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: as that simple.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you need to change the happens that go forth in your study.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you studying two days a week need to be increased to three days a week.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it is that simple.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: We make things over complicated because we don't understand what it takes for us to function.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: I am a person for instance that cannot have one thing on to study.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: When I was in college, I had to have the TV on, sometime beyond the cell phone, sometimes have a live video playing with school and still those three things running, I can make the Deanless all at the same time.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: You have to understand what makes you function.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: What makes you productive?
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: Some people like quiet places, some people need active places.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: Some people need to have the TV on, the lights on, the radio plan on the cell phone.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: some people need nothing but the radio on.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: Some people need just to tap their feet.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: Their foot, some people need to pack their pinched their fingers, snap their hands.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's all on what makes that person comfortable, of being productive.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: You need to understand and life is the same way.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in a position at the job and you don't like your position and you want to move up in your position, find out what it takes to move up in that position.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: Acts the questions.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: Did you get special certification?
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: Did you go to school for that position?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: Acts the questions that needed to be answered and not just Acts the first level of questions, Acts the second level of questions.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: do you need to be sponsored?
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: How long does it take you to finish the course?
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: How much of the course costs?
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: Do our job sponsors, the course?
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: Is that field promising and income and in job placement?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: And our economy does that work with what's going on in our world, because sometimes what you go for, right now it might be,
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: economy could be crashing.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: Say you go to school to be a coal miner.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: We're right now and the tariffs have shut down all the coal mines.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't make sense to go to school for that right now.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: So you need to pay attention also to what's going on in our society to understand if that's economical for you to go to school for certain things if you're going
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Because all you do when if you take the time to set your mind to do something, but yet it's not going to be prosperous for you later on because of the economy, then you just waste it your time.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: You need to understand that sometimes you got to go with the flow of what that economy is giving you.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oftentimes we have people to have professions that we're into that we don't want to be into.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, people have jobs that they don't like.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: But they need to have an income, bills need to be paid.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: It takes a special mindset to get up every day, to go to a job, you don't like going to.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: But you got to provide for your family.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: How do you get yourself out of a situation like that?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: What's the mindset has to be, to be productive and a place you hate going to every day?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: We have to look deeper into the mindset and how it dictates your prosperity in life.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: You have to understand that the way your mind thinks and the way you perform is what people see.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: If you have a negative attitude and have a negative attitude on life, it will start to show in at work.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: It will start to show at home.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: It will start to show everywhere you go.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: Every time you talk, it will be negative.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: No one wants to be around that.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: No one wants to promote that negativity.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Because all you're going to do is being a better position, spewing out the same poison that you was when you wasn't in that position.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: So it doesn't make sense for them to promote you in a position that you might be qualified for.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: But your mindset has stopped them from promoting you because they don't want to hear that.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: Often times we have to do a reset.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe before we go to audit and notice your current patterns, we need to do a mindset of resetting the mind.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: First, we got a real loss at whatever we did last year, it got us nowhere.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: If that's your result.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: If your mind said is good and you have achieved goals and you're on the right page and maybe this is not for you.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: But if in fact that your mind set and where you had in life has been a circle and you're just chasing your tail and you see you stuck in the same rut and you was last year, then maybe you need to take a self evaluation on what you did that you could do better for the new year.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: So first thing we got to change that immediate, that's refresh, do a refresh.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: If you hung out with people that wasn't a positive mindset, that wasn't about building and going places, maybe you have to change out number one, who you hang out with.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe number two, if you ate nothing but a lot of junk food and food that wasn't good for you, a lot of acid and a lot of toxic food, chemical-based foods, things that had a lot of chemicals, a lot of sodas, a lot of junk food, do you know the displays of mindset on your mind?
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: All these rotten that you put inside of your body, it changes your aggression.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know, when you smoke weed, it changes your aggression, some people are very aggressive, some people are not as aggressive.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: Some people have a laid back.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: Excuse me, chill mode when they are smoke marijuana.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Some people get aggressive when they smoke marijuana.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: Anything that you put in your body, I'm just using that example can be toxic for you and your mindset.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: So you need to take key to what you put in your body as what results you'll get out of your body.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: And out of your mind, you got to cost the feed your brain and feed your body things that your body can.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: What reproduce as positive energy.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: So you can't read a bunch of negative stuff because everything is going to come out of you might be negative.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know what the old saying, if you hang out with broke people, you would be broke.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: You hang out with people that don't work, you won't work.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: You hang out with people that don't want nothing.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: You might not want nothing.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: These hang out with these.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they say.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: Your mindset dictates generally what direction you're going to go in life.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: So it's very crucial for us to change that immediate mindset.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: Write down the immediate goals that you want to achieve.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: If you have someone that you believe in, Allah, God, Jesus, Christ, Christian, whatever your faith is, bring it to them and let them know that you're coming with a clean heart and you want help.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: Achieve in these goals and give you wisdom and knowledge to achieve the goals you set forth.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: They don't have to be big goals.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: They don't have to be small goals, just goals, things that you can reach, then next thing you need to do is do a daily practice, things you do daily, whether it's not just looking at that piece of paper that you're trying to achieve every day.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Find out what did you do today that you didn't do yesterday that you can do better today.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, if it's something you want to achieve, maybe you got to write down that I make the call to get to that particular goal.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: As I made the call, that I leave a message.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: Every day, look at what you could do more to achieve the goal.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: Set in the practice of you doing that.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: Track it.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure you track where you left off, adjust, celebrate the small goals that you achieve.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: Making that first phone call is a celebration.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: For you, for many people, they might say, I'm not doing that, but for you that might be in a dark place or might not understand which way you're going, this is huge, monumental for you.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the things that you can set forth in your life,
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: The smallest achievements, the smallest celebrations turned to big celebrations, big achievements.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing wrong with celebrating the lowest things you do, because it picks up momentum.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Momentum is so key and crucial for you to catch this momentum and part of the force of energy and move you forward.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: It does.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's very important that we look at that.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Step by step, set down and take a look at that.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the first five things.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: Take it all out.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: Notice the current patterns.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: Refrain from limitations and beliefs, that's number two.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: Number three, pick a one to three mindset of goals.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: Number four, build tiny, daily practices.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: Number five, track, adjust, and celebrate.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's very important that we do these five steps.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: Could these are the first five steps that might help us change our mindset?
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: And as we look at this podcast, look at this podcast episode and the next two as a workshop.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: Write down these things, I'll go over it again.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: Number one, audit, notice to current patterns,
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: Notice your patterns, notice what you're doing.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: Change that negative into a positive mindset, off the rip, refrain from limitations and beliefs.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: That means don't put nothing against what can move forward for you.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: Don't make an excuse that ain't there, leave it alone.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: Put it in your beliefs that it will happen and you'll move forward and make it happen and it will happen for you.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: Pick one, two, three mindset goals.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: Pick out goals that achieve will for you.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: Number four, do build tiny daily practices.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: Things you do every day to move forward and achieving your goal.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: Number five, and the last one guys track adjust and celebrate what you do.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's important.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna hold you too long guys.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, this podcast is more like a workshop preparing your mindset for the new year.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: Achieve in your goals.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: We can do it.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: If you believe it, you can achieve it.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm your host, Jameim McCrement.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: This is humanity on plug, signing out.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me, you guys, put your best foot forward and God, to make two steps possible.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: Peace.
