- 0:54getting to do this and I love getting to talk to everybody.
- 0:56All right, so for today's LIVE, there's a ton of news to cover,
- 1:01especially about abortion and IVF from the last week.
- 1:05My phone has been ringing off the hook with media calls over
- 1:08the last week and interviews about Alabama's Supreme Court
- 1:12ruling on IVF, which has been really consequential.
- 1:16And we're going to talk about why that is.
- 1:19There's also a story out that has been becoming more viral
- 1:23about live action in the news. My pro-life organization because
- 1:27of work we're doing to get fetal development content in public
- 1:30schools. I'm going to mention that at the
- 1:32end and talk give you guys an update on that.
- 1:34But who knew that fetal development content could be so,
- 1:37so controversial for many people, especially on the pro
- 1:42abortion left, unfortunately, they don't want students to have
- 1:44access to that. So a lot to cover today.
- 1:47And the chat is open here. So I will keep an eye on the
- 1:49chat if people want to put questions and I might be able to
- 1:51get to questions or comments. So feel free to integrate,
- 1:55engage with the chat if you are watching this when we do this
- 1:59live. OK, so I want to start with the
- 2:01news that is top of mind for a lot of people, which is IVF, in
- 2:06vitro fertilization, which is a reproductive technology that
- 2:09came on the scene about four decades ago where children can
- 2:13be conceived outside of their mother's body.
- 2:16They can be conceived using sometimes a spur, a donors for
- 2:20sperm, a donor for an egg, and they can be conceived in a Petri
- 2:23dish. Ultimately, they can be
- 2:25conceived without using the natural processes of, of
- 2:29reproduction that human beings have.
- 2:32And so there's a lot of, there's a lot to say about this.
- 2:34My goal today is to give you an update on what's happening in
- 2:36the news. And then most importantly, share
- 2:38some facts that are not as well known about IVF that I think are
- 2:44crucial for everyone to know, especially pro-life people who
- 2:48care about preborn lives and anyone of good conscience,
- 2:51because I think there's a lot of ignorance or misunderstanding
- 2:55around IVF. And so the goal of this episode
- 2:58is to break down what IVF is and the consequences of IVF that
- 3:03many are not aware of. And that's why we're calling
- 3:06this the truth about IVF. So I want to start with what's
- 3:10in the news. You might have seen the GOP
- 3:13front runner and President Trump has come out and he actually is
- 3:18in some ways decrying the Alabama Supreme Court decision
- 3:23and the Alabama Supreme Court decision.
- 3:25Ultimately. I'll get into this more in a
- 3:26moment. It asserted that children
- 3:29conceived via IVF can be actually their parents can sue
- 3:35in a wrongful death lawsuit and they can be considered humans.
- 3:38So basically gave them this bare minimum level of legal status
- 3:41that they are human lives. That's a great thing because
- 3:44they are human lives. Because of this, some fertility
- 3:49clinics in Alabama have decided to shut down because they don't
- 3:53want to be held liable if they destroy human lives in their
- 3:56clinic because of their just lack of carefulness with these
- 4:01embryos. I mean, what happened in the
- 4:03case of the Alabama case that was being considered is these
- 4:06children were frozen. A patient wandered in and
- 4:10accidentally, literally dropped the children on the ground and
- 4:12killed them. These embryos who are
- 4:14indefinitely frozen and there was going to be no consequences,
- 4:18no, no recourse for the parents. And so they asked for recourse.
- 4:21And the Alabama Supreme Court said you get recourse here.
- 4:24It's a fertility clinic's fault that just allowed someone to
- 4:26wander in and just smash the embryos.
- 4:29And now fertility clinics are saying we don't want to be held
- 4:31accountable if you if we get smashed in our facility, we want
- 4:36no accountability basically. So unfortunately, let's go to
- 4:39President Trump's statement here.
- 4:42Unfortunately, a number of certainly people on the left,
- 4:45Biden, President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, others
- 4:49have been decrying the Alabama Supreme Court.
- 4:50How dare you? You're going to threaten IVF
- 4:52treatments across the country. How dare you give any legal
- 4:55status to these children, basically is what they're
- 4:57saying. And even on the right, there's
- 4:59some voices saying similar things.
- 5:01So President Trump says that he strongly supports the
- 5:05availability of IVF, and he calls on lawmakers in Alabama to
- 5:09preserve access. Access is that word right to
- 5:12treatment? That has become a new flashpoint
- 5:14in the 2024 presidential election.
- 5:16We're actually going to hear the statement he recently made about
- 5:18this last week. So, OK, So what he's saying, you
- 5:39guys can hear this, But he's saying the Republican Party will
- 5:41always support creating strong, thriving families, America
- 5:44first. And we want to make it easier
- 5:45for mothers and fathers to have babies in a harder.
- 5:47So he's basically saying, actually, we need more of IVF,
- 5:50you know, instead of holding IVF clinics accountable, instead of
- 5:53providing legal status to children.
- 5:54This is the implication, right? We need to make IVF even easier
- 5:58to access. All right, then there's Carrie
- 6:00Lake. Everyone has probably heard of
- 6:02Carrie A Carrie Lake who ran for governor in Arizona.
- 6:05And she tweeted that she said one in six Americans struggle
- 6:08with fertility issues in the Senate.
- 6:11Now she's running for Senate. Excuse me.
- 6:12In the Senate, I will advocate for increased access to
- 6:16fertility treatment for women struggling to get pregnant.
- 6:20IVF is extremely important for helping countless families
- 6:23experience the joy of parenthood.
- 6:24I oppose restrictions. Now, keep in mind, there are
- 6:28almost no restrictions in the United States for IVF.
- 6:31I'm going to get into that more in a moment, but there aren't
- 6:33really restrictions. As it is, she's effectively
- 6:36saying she opposes this Alabama Supreme Court decision that
- 6:39gives any legal status to these embryos so that they can even be
- 6:43considered in a wrongful death lawsuit by even the parents who
- 6:46are upset with the fertility clinic being careless and
- 6:49allowing the children to be destroyed.
- 6:51So that's really what's at stake here.
- 6:52It's the moral and the legal status of these embryos of these
- 6:56human lives. And unfortunately, you're seeing
- 6:59from President Trump, from people like Senate candidate
- 7:01Carrie Lake and others, even on the right, saying no at all
- 7:06costs, protect IVFIE, let people do whatever they want in the IVF
- 7:12world to pursue creating new lives, children, because it's
- 7:16that important. All right, we're going to break
- 7:18this down, why this is problematic, why this matters.
- 7:22Before we do that, though, I need to thank our sponsors.
- 7:25We have 3 sponsors today of this episode who will make it
- 7:28possible. And a huge shout out to good

- 10:25code lilac. Check out for a 10% off your
- 10:27order. Thank you to all of our
- 10:28sponsors. OK, so Alabama Supreme Court has
- 10:33said that this is what they said exactly.
- 10:35This is important because right now there's a hullabaloo in the
- 10:39media that, you know, conservatives are, you know,
- 10:41Republicans are trying to ban fertility treatments and
- 10:44infringe on reproductive healthcare.
- 10:46What exactly did the court say? The court ruled that embryos,
- 10:51whether they're in their mother's uterus or in a in a
- 10:54test tube in a fertility clinic, that embryos are covered under
- 10:59Alabama's wrongful death statute.
- 11:03The court didn't say that these embryos have full constitutional
- 11:07rights. This is an important
- 11:08distinction. I wish the court, the Alabama
- 11:11Supreme Court, had said they have equal status under the law
- 11:15like any other child, that you can't kill them, you can't
- 11:19manipulate them, you can't do medical experiments on them.
- 11:22The court didn't say that. But the court did say, at
- 11:24minimum, that they are covered under Alabama's wrongful death
- 11:27statute. Think about that for a minute.
- 11:30That means if you're a fertility clinic, you can't be negligent.
- 11:34You can't just let someone wander in and smash jars of
- 11:38human lives that are tiny and that are frozen indefinitely,
- 11:40that there's some sort of recourse and responsibility.
- 11:43There's some sort of consequence that should be had for killing a
- 11:46human being. I mean, you're drive through a
- 11:48red light, you hit a human being, there's a consequence.
- 11:50There should be a consequence because human lives are precious
- 11:54and they're all equally precious.
- 11:56But unfortunately, in America's IVF industry, we don't, we don't
- 12:00operate that way. So think about all the art, the
- 12:03the comments being made, whether it's President Trump or
- 12:05President Biden or, you know, Carrie Lake or whoever it is.
- 12:09What they're actually talking about is the Alabama Supreme
- 12:12Court saying at minimum, these children should be recognized
- 12:16under wrongful death lawsuits. At minimum.
- 12:18That's all that it's saying. It's not even saying they get
- 12:21full constitutional privileges or, or rights.
- 12:24So let's go through some facts about IVF now that I think are
- 12:26really important. And we're going to run through
- 12:28these. We'll talk about this on future
- 12:30episodes. I also want to mention I did an
- 12:31interview with Jennifer Law, which was fascinating.
- 12:36She's an expert on egg donation, sperm donation.
- 12:39She's investigated big fertility for over a decade and she's done
- 12:44documentary films. Her documentary film
- 12:46Exploitation was about the egg donation industry and how
- 12:50exploitative it is of women. Check out that interview I did.
- 12:53It's over on the Live Action channel and you'll hear a lot
- 12:55more about big fertility and IVF industry there.
- 12:59But I want to run through some important facts that you need to
- 13:01know. First of all, I need to say
- 13:04this. Infertility is a big cross.
- 13:06It is. I know people who struggle with
- 13:09it. It's extremely painful,
- 13:10excruciatingly painful for many couples.
- 13:13And unfortunately, because of many environmental factors, I
- 13:16think because of the use in the past of hormonal birth control,
- 13:19other aspects of how we just operate today in the modern
- 13:23world, infertility is increasingly common.
- 13:26People delaying having babies. So more and more people are
- 13:29turning to IVF, but just because something is technologically
- 13:34possible doesn't mean that it's the moral decision and doesn't
- 13:38mean that it's the right decision.
- 13:40I also want to call it an important distinction head on
- 13:43about the difference between IVF and adoption.
- 13:47IVF is creating a new human life that's going to be now fraught
- 13:51with a lot of dangers to that life.
- 13:53We're going to talk about that as opposed to adoption, which is
- 13:57healing a wound of providing parents for a new human life
- 14:01that's already been created. So in IVF, the parents or the
- 14:05adults want to heal the wound that they are experiencing of
- 14:09infertility by bringing a life or multiple lives into existence
- 14:13to try to have a child that they can give birth to, right?
- 14:17With adoption, it's a baby that's already been conceived
- 14:20that is orphaned ultimately and needs parents.
- 14:24And so the wound of being orphaned is being healed for
- 14:26that child. This is a tremendously important
- 14:29distinction because IVF is focused on meeting the parents
- 14:33needs by delivering a child one way or another.
- 14:37Adoption is focused primarily on healing the child's needs and
- 14:41solving the child's needs by providing a child who already
- 14:46exists with parents when that child has been orphaned or is
- 14:49otherwise in danger. So wanted to call that out
- 14:52because some people say, how can you be against IVF?
- 14:54You're, you're pro-life. I thought there's an important
- 14:57distinction here about what these are used for in the in the
- 15:00world. And IVF is used for the parent
- 15:02to have that child they demand, they really seek or demand
- 15:05adoption is to get that child, the parents that that child
- 15:09needs. Let's run through some of the
- 15:11challenges with IVF that many people may not know.
- 15:14Number one, there are very high death rates for babies in IVFIVF
- 15:21is extremely dangerous for the new human lives that are
- 15:24created. I'm going to cite some studies
- 15:26here. For example, according to
- 15:28research published in the Reproductive Biomedicine
- 15:30Biomedicine Online, in vitro fertilization is carried out 2.5
- 15:35million times annually around the world.
- 15:38But each year only half a million babies are actually born
- 15:41from the IVF procedure. This means that each year, if
- 15:44just one embryo is created during each IVF cycle, the
- 15:48average is 7 cycles for IVF. At least 80%, at least 2 million
- 15:55of these human beings created through IVF are either dying
- 15:59through the process of IVF because it's hard, you have to
- 16:02go through on often multiple cycles for the baby to catch to
- 16:05be implanted, or they're frozen indefinitely.
- 16:09There's an estimated 1,000,000 children frozen indefinitely
- 16:12right now in the United States, or they're destroyed.
- 16:16Many children are seen as not up to the bar in the quality of the
- 16:20embryo that they are, or they're the wrong gender or the wrong
- 16:24sex, and so they're simply destroyed.
- 16:26So there are very high death rates for babies and IVF.
- 16:30In this way, IVF promotes the discarding of extra embryos
- 16:35which are developing humans. Can we know when human life
- 16:38begins, begins at fertilization. These are unique individual
- 16:42human boys or girls, their genetic codes fully present.
- 16:46They just need time and nourishment to grow.
- 16:48They need that nurture. But the reality is IVF usually
- 16:51entails the creation of multiple embryos.
- 16:54That way, there's a greater chance of implantation.
- 16:57That's why so many are frozen. You know, they're the leftovers.
- 17:00Maybe we'll have them in the future, maybe we won't.
- 17:03And then these embryos are screened for genetic disorders,
- 17:06handicaps, or even for their gender.
- 17:09Over 70% of US fertility clinics allow screening just for gender.
- 17:15So you can literally destroy the baby if you don't like the sex
- 17:18of the baby. And this is common practice.
- 17:21And then the undesirable embryos are discarded.
- 17:24This is absolutely heartbreaking, right?
- 17:26It's treating human lives like commodities.
- 17:30And yet this is common practice unfortunately in today's, and
- 17:34it's perfectly legal in today's IVF industry.
- 17:38Another truth about IVF people should know.
- 17:40IVF often can result in the conception of multiples.
- 17:44So there's a practice by many fertility clinics, not all and
- 17:47not all couples, but by many where multiples might be
- 17:51implanted because there's a higher, higher chance of one of
- 17:55the babies succeeding then the, the kind of rate of seven, maybe
- 18:00cycles of IVF. And then it fails.
- 18:02The baby doesn't catch and then, you know, it doesn't implant
- 18:04properly or doesn't develop properly.
- 18:07Tragically, in many cases. There's some famous stories out
- 18:11there of women who actually share in their Slate article
- 18:15writing about how, oh, I implanted 3.
- 18:18I only wanted one or two, the babies all took and now the
- 18:22doctor's telling me it's dangerous to have triplets.
- 18:25So I'm going to selectively reduce is what they use the, the
- 18:29language they use. Selective reduction is the
- 18:31euphemistic language that's used to talk about these babies.
- 18:35And what that is, is an abortion, often a second
- 18:38trimester abortion 'cause that's kind of when you know whether
- 18:40they'll take or not, so to speak.
- 18:41If they've made it through the 1st trimester, that's when most
- 18:43miscarriages happen. So they're in the second
- 18:45trimester. It's like, oh, the baby hasn't
- 18:47died yet, still alive, Dang it. We better selectively reduce.
- 18:52And So what is legal in this country is you can go in and a
- 18:56baby that you intentionally conceived, this wasn't like a
- 19:00one night stand in an accidental conception.
- 19:02And you're like, I don't want responsibility.
- 19:04You paid money to conceive this new little life.
- 19:08And now you think, oh, I don't want this baby anymore because
- 19:11it was supposed to die and it didn't.
- 19:13So I'm going to go in and kill it.
- 19:14I'm going to go in and abort it. And so we permit in this country
- 19:19selective reduction where we abort IVF conceived babies and
- 19:24there's no consequence, there's no recourse for their, there's
- 19:27no human rights, no legal status.
- 19:29Another fact about IVF that people should know, prepping for
- 19:34IVF requires significant alterations to the hormone
- 19:37levels in a woman so that she can be ready to receive this
- 19:42pregnancy, right? I mean, it's the baby's already
- 19:45conceived, but now she has to prepare her body and trick it
- 19:48into thinking it's pregnant in just the right way so that the
- 19:51baby will implant in her uterus, right?
- 19:54The reality of that, though, is that going through this hormone
- 19:56therapy for women, besides being very taxing, very expensive,
- 20:00often very painful, it can also have consequences.
- 20:04Having these high levels of estrogen to kind of trick your
- 20:07body into thinking it's pregnant can cause irregular periods.
- 20:10It can cause depression, uterine fibroids, osteoporosis, memory
- 20:14loss and infections. So this isn't a walk in the park
- 20:18for the mothers either. For the women.
- 20:20This is incredibly taxing both physically and emotionally, as
- 20:23well as dangerous for women to be doing this unnatural process
- 20:27of preparing and priming their body for an embryo that wasn't
- 20:30conceived in their body. Another fact about IVF that
- 20:35people should know. Advances with IVF has permitted
- 20:40parents to have a screening process where they can make sure
- 20:44that the baby that they're bringing into the world has
- 20:48desirable traits and has no genetic defects.
- 20:53So what happens in many clinics is these children are subjected
- 20:57to genetic testing to ensure they fit the parameters of what
- 21:01the parents want. You see this a lot even before
- 21:04the fertilization of that embryo when the parents, if it's like a
- 21:09same sex couple is shopping for an egg or sperm of another
- 21:14individual. And so you actually see them
- 21:17setting the bar for what they want in that egg donor per SE.
- 21:23There is a infamous YouTube couple recently, two men that
- 21:28were very public about their IVF journey and they went through
- 21:31this long process to get, I think they ended up getting 10
- 21:34frozen embryos, 10 babies, and who knows how many they tried to
- 21:38create before that. And then they brought into the
- 21:40world 2 little boys through surrogates.
- 21:43But they're joking on camera on their YouTube channel.
- 21:47This is Shane Dawson and his same sex partner.
- 21:49They're joking about how they were looking for a, you know, a
- 21:52very Pretty Woman, an attractive woman with certain qualities to
- 21:56be the egg donor because they want their kids to be
- 22:00attractive. And so they're literally
- 22:02shopping like, you'd shop for clothes or a car or a house or
- 22:07whatever. They're shopping for their
- 22:09child. And then they don't just shop
- 22:12for the child. They do some magic or their
- 22:15their technology, you know, they pay a boatload of money.
- 22:17By the way, there's no vetting here either.
- 22:19It's not like Shane Dawson has to go through some lengthy
- 22:22approval process like you do for adoption.
- 22:24He can just buy those eggs from a from a sperm or from an egg
- 22:28donor. And then they go through this
- 22:30process in the IVF clinic of saying, OK, how many boys do we
- 22:32got? How many girls?
- 22:33Oh, we don't want the girls. We just want the boys.
- 22:35OK? Oh, we just want two.
- 22:37We don't want 3. So now there's 8 babies.
- 22:41Maybe there were more originally indefinitely frozen that may end
- 22:45up getting discarded, that means killed or donated for medical
- 22:49experimentation later down the line.
- 22:52And meanwhile, because of IVF, Shane Dawson and his same sex
- 22:58partner is, is the the other man are bringing home to their home
- 23:022 babies that share maybe a biological link to only one of
- 23:07them and has a mother out there that was the donor that they'll
- 23:10never know. They'll never know mother.
- 23:12And we there's no, there's no check in process on how are they
- 23:15doing? How's this baby?
- 23:16How's this family? It's done because they had the
- 23:18money to pay for it. That is what IVF has allowed
- 23:22parents to screen on embryos with genetic disabilities and to
- 23:26basically create super babies, the baby of their design.
- 23:29And if you have enough money and you can go through enough cycles
- 23:32and hire enough donors and hire enough surrogates, then you can
- 23:37move forward and basically purchase your baby.
- 23:40That's what IVF allows. And it's, it's heartbreaking.
- 23:43I got to tell one more story about this too.
- 23:46I've talked about this before in some speeches on on social
- 23:48media, but I don't know if I've talked about the podcast yet.
- 23:51And that's the story of a woman named Brittany in the state of
- 23:55California who was a surrogate. So she was paid to carry other
- 23:59people's children who are going through the IVF process.
- 24:02And in one case, she was paid by two men, again at the same sex
- 24:05couple to carry a little boy. And she did that.
- 24:10And she discovered when the boy was around 20 weeks old,
- 24:13preborn, that the health, you know, healthy boy, healthy
- 24:16pregnancy, but that she had breast cancer.
- 24:20And so she wanted to start a process for cancer treatments,
- 24:25basically, and she was concerned that this would hurt the baby.
- 24:27So she was willing to delay it a little bit and then undergo an
- 24:31early delivery, which again, this can be very ethical to
- 24:34protect the baby. But basically, give the baby a,
- 24:37a, a chance, get, you know, give him a few more weeks, get him in
- 24:39NICU and do an early delivery so that the cancer treatments
- 24:43wouldn't harm the baby. And the same sex couple told her
- 24:48we don't want a NICU baby, we don't want an early delivered
- 24:53baby, abort the baby, kill the baby.
- 24:56And she was like, no, I can't. It's a 20 week old baby.
- 24:59I'm not going to do that. It's this little boy, He's
- 25:00perfectly healthy. No, you spent all this money to
- 25:03create him. Why are you going to kill him?
- 25:04And there's like, we do not want to deal with the NICU baby.
- 25:06We don't want to deal with a little boy that might have
- 25:09issues from being a preemie. And she was saying no, I don't
- 25:13want to do this. But they were legally in their
- 25:17contract. They legally got to call the
- 25:19shots and she went through with an early delivery at an age when
- 25:23he was too little to survive 21 weeks, I think.
- 25:27And the hospital didn't even attempt to resuscitate or give
- 25:30him life saving support because you can actually survive as
- 25:33early as 21 weeks, 5 days. And that's the earliest
- 25:36surviving preemie. He didn't even get a chance.
- 25:38He was killed. He was murdered in that
- 25:40hospital. Now, in this story, obviously
- 25:43these extremely selfish men that did this to him, treating him
- 25:47like worse than property, property that they would
- 25:49literally throw in the trash can.
- 25:52It's evil what they did. I think it's also evil what she
- 25:55did, that she permitted this, that she didn't fight harder.
- 25:59I think it's problematic to even do surrogacy, obviously highly
- 26:02ethically wrong, I think to do any of this because of the the
- 26:06treatment of human beings like commodities.
- 26:08And that's kind of the final point about the truth about IVF
- 26:11here is that IVF breaks the natural order.
- 26:15And I, I can understand why people want to break it because
- 26:17if the natural order feels broken already, right, there's
- 26:19infertility can understand why people want technology that will
- 26:23solve that. But in pursuing this technology,
- 26:26it has led to tremendous human rights abuses of these children.
- 26:31And many remain indefinitely frozen or have been already
- 26:34destroyed or have been subjected to selective reduction abortions
- 26:38or medical research and killed. So I believe that it's time for
- 26:44the USA to have a reckoning with big fertility, with the
- 26:48fertility industry and for people to be made aware of all
- 26:52of the ethical harms, the the human rights abuses of this
- 26:56often well-intentioned but dangerous technology.
- 27:00And instead to rediscover fertility treatments and and
- 27:04double down in fertility treatments and and mindset about
- 27:08children that is more ethical. And that's what I want to end
- 27:11with here because there is hope here.
- 27:13Again, I understand people that are just desperate for a child.
- 27:18It's a painful, painful position to be in and I wouldn't wish it
- 27:21on anyone. But the solution is not to
- 27:24pursue something that is ultimately going to go against
- 27:28our nature as human beings. The natural bond of love that
- 27:31how children are conceived through the love of their
- 27:32parents and ultimately subject them to such risk and so much
- 27:37abuse. And So what are the better ways?
- 27:40Well, first of all, one better way is things like Napro
- 27:44technology. Napro technology is natural
- 27:48procreative technology. It's designed to work with a
- 27:51woman's body to address underlying conditions about why
- 27:55she might be infertile, or for the man, underlying conditions
- 27:58about why he might be infertile. Often, people can be diagnosed
- 28:01as infertile after even just six months or a year and qualify for
- 28:06IVF without even having this deep dive done into their
- 28:09medical history into why they're struggling with infertility to
- 28:12begin with. People are looking for quick
- 28:15answers and that's what IVF seems to promise them, but
- 28:19unfortunately, it often doesn't come true.
- 28:21But Napro technology is the deeper way to really understand,
- 28:24OK, what's going on here? Is there are there ovarian
- 28:27cysts? Is there polycystic ovarian
- 28:29disease? Is there repetitive miscarriage
- 28:31caused by hormonal balance? What are the other health
- 28:33complications that might be present here?
- 28:36And unfortunately, in modern Western medicine in America, I
- 28:40think sometimes doctors are looking for the quick fix.
- 28:42They're not taking the time to really evaluate what's going on
- 28:46with this woman's body or with her husband's, you know, the
- 28:48man's body. What what can we do here to heal
- 28:51at a very deep level? And on the podcast, actually,
- 28:54we're going to have on Lauren Rubal, who's a fertility
- 28:56specialist, including in Napro technology, and she is going to
- 28:59deep dive some of these treatments for us.
- 29:01She was on the show last year and last year she talked about
- 29:04why she left the IVF industry because it was unethical.
- 29:08She had seen enough and she's like, I can't keep doing this
- 29:11and why she totally changed her practice to be more for natural
- 29:16technologies that are not going to put the baby at risk or the
- 29:19mother at risk and that are ethical.
- 29:21So I'm really excited for that conversation and I think that
- 29:25will open the door more for solutions.
- 29:28I want to close the conversation about IVF with this.
- 29:32Any baby can see via IVF is equally precious and purpose and
- 29:38God has a plan for them and they deserve protection.
- 29:40So there's children and people walking around.
- 29:43And so actually I think as old as 40 years old now, the first
- 29:45technology I think worked almost 4 decades ago, if I have the the
- 29:49numbers right here. But these are human lives.
- 29:52So this is not in any way to say that if you're conceived via IVF
- 29:55that your life isn't precious. God doesn't have a plan for you.
- 29:58Of course. I mean, the whole point of why
- 30:00IVF is a problem is because life is precious, is because life is
- 30:04sacred and because the natural order of how life comes into the
- 30:08world should not be broken. And so I just want to encourage
- 30:11people listening that life is sacred.
- 30:15These embryos that are frozen indefinitely, they deserve legal
- 30:18status. There are beautiful efforts to
- 30:21adopt them. Actually, it's called snowflake
- 30:23adoption. And some couples that struggle
- 30:25with infertility have sought to do that.
- 30:28I think this can be a beautiful solution.
- 30:31There's ton of ethical ramifications there.
- 30:33We're not going to get into there, but I think it can.
- 30:35There are ways to pursue that ethically, and I think that that
- 30:38can be a beautiful response. I also think adoption can be a
- 30:43beautiful response. But the final point is this.
- 30:46Nobody is owed a child. I mean, this is a hard truth.
- 30:51No one's owed a child. No individual, no couple, no
- 30:54married couple is owed a human child.
- 30:58They're a gift. They're pure gift.
- 31:00And so we are blessed with that gift.
- 31:02We should be extremely thankful and cherish that life and serve
- 31:05that life. But no one's owed a child.
- 31:08We're, we are, we have the opportunity to seek a child.
- 31:10You know, if we get married and try to conceive, but we don't,
- 31:13we're not owed that life. And so we need to change our
- 31:16mindset at large. I think about children in this
- 31:18country and unfortunately because of abortion, because of
- 31:21IVF, because of these things, we have this mindset that children,
- 31:25you snap your fingers, pay enough, you work hard enough,
- 31:27you get them. You don't want the child you've
- 31:29conceived, you know you're pregnant, get rid of it.
- 31:32We have this commercial mentality, this use mentality
- 31:37about kids, which needs to be adjusted to one that is more
- 31:42about gift and love. Because at the end of the day,
- 31:46human beings were designed to love and we are gifts freely
- 31:49given, freely received, but not always promised gifts to one
- 31:53another. All right.
- 31:54Before we close up, though, I want to quickly mention Baby
- 31:57Olivia. So Baby Olivia is a video that
- 32:01live action produced three years ago.
- 32:04And actually, Frank, if you type in baby Olivia, you can pull it
- 32:07up. Baby Olivia live action, you
- 32:10probably have seen this video if you're listening.
- 32:11If you haven't, check it out. It's been viewed, I think 50
- 32:14million times online. The first year it was released,
- 32:17it got 30 million views. And now all of these states are
- 32:20putting it in their school curriculum and public schools
- 32:25are being required to include this in the classroom to watch
- 32:28this beautiful, lifelike, medically accurate animation of
- 32:33human life in the womb. So this is can only be good
- 32:35news, right? This doesn't even mention
- 32:36abortion. This video.
- 32:38It's just like, hi, I'm Olivia at 3 1/2 weeks.
- 32:40My heart is beating. I mean, it's all the
- 32:42developmental markers that are scientifically, scientifically
- 32:45correct. Well, live action's in a fight
- 32:48right now with a ton of these media groups like Associated
- 32:52Press and Mother Jones and all of these unfortunately pro abort
- 32:57media groups, Washington Post, who are angry that students
- 33:02would have access to baby Olivia because it's pro-life
- 33:06propaganda, anti emotion propaganda.
- 33:08Abortion's not mentioned at all and everything in this video is
- 33:12medically accurate. They cannot point to one
- 33:13specific thing that's inaccurate.
- 33:16I'm bringing this up because I want you guys to go right now.
- 33:19You can go to liveaction.org or you can type in Baby Olivia on
- 33:21Google, Watch the video and share it.
- 33:25Let's make Olivia more popular than ever and make it more
- 33:29accessible than ever to people across the country.
- 33:32And go to liveaction.org and sign up to support us or stay
- 33:37connected with us so that you can help us in this journey.
- 33:40Again, we're not doing the legislative work.
- 33:42That's lawmakers. They're doing a great job.
- 33:44They don't need us for that. But our job is to create the
- 33:46content that's best in class, medically accurate content that
- 33:50can be used in schools. And so we're super pumped about
- 33:52it. And surprise, surprise, pro
- 33:54abortion media is not. So that's what you get right?
- 33:58That's that's the fight of our lives.
- 34:00Follow the science until it's inconvenient, right?
- 34:04If you're on the the pro abortion left, follow the
- 34:06science until the science tells you this is a human life and
- 34:09then you're mad because you want to support killing the human
- 34:12life. So you say shut it down.
- 34:14I mean, it's crazy the comments we've seen people saying this is
- 34:16propaganda. Why would you subject children
- 34:19to this? It's like this is this is basic
- 34:22medical. I mean, you could go to
- 34:24babycenter.com or any pregnancy app and the same markers we use
- 34:28in this video will be on that app.
- 34:30But oh, if the student in the sex Ed or the biology classroom
- 34:34sees it, they might think it's a baby, they might think it's a
- 34:37human. And then they might think, don't
- 34:40kill them in an abortion. And that very logical thought
- 34:44process is what the pro abortion media and activists are raging
- 34:49mad about. So make them more mad in a
- 34:52loving way by sharing Olivia. And you can we'll link it in the
- 34:56in the bio as well. All right, guys, thank you for
- 34:59joining me for this live. I really appreciate you guys
- 35:02listening and supporting the show.
- 35:04Send me your thoughts on IVF. Send me your thoughts on baby
- 35:07Olivia. I love to hear from you.
- 35:09You can do that by emailing me at Lila, at GTBGTB, media.com,
- 35:16and don't forget locals and Patreon.
- 35:18That's where you can join our communities, you can support the
- 35:21show, and you can also. We'll be doing more behind the
- 35:24scenes stuff in the future there and we were first to post there
- 35:26about what's coming up on the podcast and upcoming live
- 35:29events. Thank you guys so much and we
- 35:32will see you next time.
