- 0:00Speaker 1: President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Iran has made
- 0:03Speaker 1: a major energy related concession to the United States, describing
- 0:08Speaker 1: it as a positive development. Although he did not give
- 0:11Speaker 1: direct details, Trump did suggest, however, the gift was related
- 0:15Speaker 1: to the Strait of Hormuz, the old transit waterway that
- 0:18Speaker 1: the United States has struggled to keep open. Quote, they
- 0:21Speaker 1: gave us a present, and the President arrived today and
- 0:24Speaker 1: it was a very big present, worth a tremendous amount
- 0:27Speaker 1: of money, Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. It
- 0:31Speaker 1: wasn't nuclear, it was oil and gas related, and it
- 0:35Speaker 1: was a very nice thing they did. Trump reiterated that
- 0:39Speaker 1: he felt the United States had already won the war,
- 0:42Speaker 1: indicating that the War Secretary Pete Headset was disappointed by
- 0:46Speaker 1: how quickly the campaign had gone. Pete didn't want it
- 0:49Speaker 1: to be settled, he said, but did not give details.
- 0:53Speaker 1: With a smile that only Trump can give, Trump said
- 0:56Speaker 1: the United States was talking now to the right people
- 0:59Speaker 1: in a in order to reach a deal to end
- 1:02Speaker 1: the hostilities, adding that the Iranians wanted to reach a
- 1:06Speaker 1: deal now very badly. Quote we're in negotiations right now
- 1:11Speaker 1: over Iran. We are, and no matter what other people
- 1:15Speaker 1: say they were wrong. The President obviously talking about the
- 1:19Speaker 1: reporting coming from CNN that we weren't actually negotiating with Iran.
- 1:25Speaker 1: That is also blown up in their faces. They had
- 1:29Speaker 1: to come out and correct that story on air today.
- 1:32Speaker 1: The President also sang that Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner
- 1:36Speaker 1: have been heavily involved in the talks all week. He said,
- 1:40Speaker 1: wit Kaf, Kushner and the Vice President Jeddie Vance and
- 1:43Speaker 1: the Secretary of State Marco Rubio have all been involved
- 1:46Speaker 1: in the negotiations. Now, Pakistan has said it is willing
- 1:49Speaker 1: to host talks between the United States and Iran as
- 1:52Speaker 1: well to get this deal done quickly. The President was
- 1:56Speaker 1: also asked about what would have to be a part
- 1:58Speaker 1: of this deal. The present made it clear this is
- 2:02Speaker 1: all about making sure Iran never has a nuclear weapon.
- 2:06Speaker 2: It was the turning point to make you want to
- 2:08Speaker 2: pursue a cease fire. A few days ago, you know,
- 2:10Speaker 2: you said you wanted to continue bombing around. Now you
- 2:13Speaker 2: want to pursue these talks. Was there something.
- 2:15Speaker 3: That they're talking to us and they're talking sense, and
- 2:19Speaker 3: remember it all starts that they cannot have a nuclear weapon.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Just you know, I said yesterday they said, what are
- 2:25Speaker 3: the top ten. I said, well, number one, two and
- 2:27Speaker 3: three is they can't have a nuclear weapon and they're
- 2:32Speaker 3: not going to have a nuclear weapon. And we're talking
- 2:34Speaker 3: about that, and I don't want to say in advance,
- 2:37Speaker 3: but they've agreed they will never have a nuclear weapon.
- 2:39Speaker 4: They've agreed to them.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That is obviously massive news. Again, he just said there
- 2:47Speaker 1: that Iran has agreed to never have a nuclear weapon.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I want to take a moment and ask you to
- 2:54Speaker 1: help the people in Israel, with my friends at the
- 2:57Speaker 1: IFCJ working right now on the ground for all those
- 3:01Speaker 1: in need. A sacred season is approaching Passover, when we
- 3:05Speaker 1: remember God's deliverance, the night he brought his people out
- 3:09Speaker 1: of bondage and into freedom. This year, many of God's
- 3:12Speaker 1: people will observe in darkness under the shadow of war
- 3:16Speaker 1: across Israel. Red alert sirens pierce the air, Families run
- 3:21Speaker 1: to shelters with seconds to spare. Elderly men and women
- 3:25Speaker 1: fear they'll be left behind, and parents are comforting their
- 3:29Speaker 1: frightened children as explosions shake the night. Sleeplessness and uncertainty
- 3:34Speaker 1: have become daily life in Israel, and Passover reminds us
- 3:39Speaker 1: that God hears the cries of his people and answers
- 3:42Speaker 1: with love and compassion. And that's why the International Fellowship
- 3:46Speaker 1: of Christians and Jews is on the ground in Israel
- 3:49Speaker 1: right now. They're providing food and emergency supplies, equipping bomb shelters,
- 3:55Speaker 1: and caring for elderly Holocaust survivors. Just as his peace
- 4:00Speaker 1: but once cried out for deliverance. Vulnerable Israelis need your
- 4:03Speaker 1: help today with your generous Passover gift. It shows you
- 4:08Speaker 1: stand with God's people. And if you were ready to
- 4:11Speaker 1: stand with the people of Israel, then stand with the
- 4:14Speaker 1: IFCJ and help. You can call them eight to eight
- 4:18Speaker 1: four eight eight IFCJ.
- 4:21Speaker 5: That's eight eight eight four eight eight.
- 4:24Speaker 1: IFCJ to rush your gift right now, or you can
- 4:27Speaker 1: give online at IFCJ dot org. That's if CJ dot org.
- 4:35Speaker 1: The President was asked even more about the deal and
- 4:37Speaker 1: he reiterated the same thing. He said, they want a deal.
- 4:42Speaker 3: That I can tell you they'd like to make a deal,
- 4:44Speaker 3: and who wouldn't if you were there. Look, their navy's gone,
- 4:49Speaker 3: their air force is gone, their communications are gone. That's
- 4:52Speaker 3: the biggest problem. It's very hard to communicate them between themselves.
- 4:57Speaker 3: All of the anti aircraft is gone. Most of their
- 5:00Speaker 3: missiles are gun We shot either shot him or they
- 5:03Speaker 3: shot him, and don't have them anymore.
- 5:05Speaker 4: They're down to a trickle. They're pretty much everything they
- 5:10Speaker 4: have is gone.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I don't know, can you name one thing that's not gone,
- 5:13Speaker 3: or can you name one thing that's doing well? You know,
- 5:16Speaker 3: if you read the papers, you think we're tied, you
- 5:18Speaker 3: think we're in a tough battle. We are roaming free
- 5:22Speaker 3: over Tehran.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Which brings us back to the big present that he says,
- 5:27Speaker 1: it ran almost like a peace offering was willing to
- 5:30Speaker 1: give the US. This was something the present was clearly
- 5:34Speaker 1: excited about and is a real turning point in the negotiations.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Here's more of the President explaining that.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Because they're gonna make a deal, they're gonna make a deal.
- 5:44Speaker 3: They did something yesterday that was amazing. Actually, they gave
- 5:47Speaker 3: us a present and the president arrived today.
- 5:52Speaker 4: It was a very big present, worth a tremendous amount
- 5:55Speaker 4: of money.
- 5:56Speaker 3: And I'm not going to tell you what that presdent is,
- 5:59Speaker 3: but it was a very significant prize and they gave
- 6:06Speaker 3: it to us, and they said they were going to
- 6:07Speaker 3: give it, so that meant one thing to me, would
- 6:09Speaker 3: deal with the right people.
- 6:11Speaker 4: No, it wasn't nuclear related.
- 6:13Speaker 3: It was oil and gas related, and it was a
- 6:16Speaker 3: very nice thing they did. But what it showed me
- 6:18Speaker 3: is that we're dealing with the right people because you know,
- 6:21Speaker 3: you don't know because the leadership was killed, all gone, comani,
- 6:25Speaker 3: all gone, as the expression goes, the passed Supreme leader,
- 6:30Speaker 3: and then the new Supreme Leader was racked up, at
- 6:34Speaker 3: a minimum, racked up pretty good, and everyone else was gone,
- 6:39Speaker 3: and then many of the people in the third tier.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Now, it really is incredible just how much disinformation is
- 6:45Speaker 1: out there in the world. CNN just confirming that their
- 6:49Speaker 1: own reporting is absolute well crap. After they spent nearly
- 6:53Speaker 1: the entire day yesterday accusing Trump of lying about the
- 6:58Speaker 1: Iranian talks, they sent out wolf Blitzer to correct the record.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Here's what they said.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And don't worry, they only spent eighteen seconds fixing an
- 7:09Speaker 1: entire day of propaganda yesterday.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Are theos important breaking news coming into.
- 7:14Speaker 4: The situation room.
- 7:14Speaker 6: We're now learning from a senior Iranian source that there
- 7:18Speaker 6: has been an outreach between the US and Iran. The
- 7:21Speaker 6: source tells CNN that this was initiated by Washington with
- 7:24Speaker 6: US now CNN military analyst retired to US Air Force
- 7:28Speaker 6: Colonel Cedric Layton, and CNN Global.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yet again, CNN having to admit that their network ran
- 7:34Speaker 1: full Iranian propaganda for virtually twenty four hours before now
- 7:39Speaker 1: actually having to fix the misinformation. And they did it
- 7:44Speaker 1: in just eighteen seconds. Now, you may ask yourself, how
- 7:48Speaker 1: did a ran finally move to the negotiating table. Well,
- 7:53Speaker 1: President Trump talked about it a little bit earlier when
- 7:56Speaker 1: he said that we control all of the skies and
- 7:58Speaker 1: we control everything over Tehran. He also talked about just
- 8:02Speaker 1: how bad their military is compared to what we have.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And here's the perfect example of it from the Oval
- 8:09Speaker 1: Office with a question from the press.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Are you encouraging your allies in the bolt to be
- 8:14Speaker 3: more involved in your offer? Yeah, I mean a little bit,
- 8:18Speaker 3: but more more NATO, I think our golf allies have
- 8:22Speaker 3: been pretty good, to be honest with you. UAE's been
- 8:26Speaker 3: hit so hard. He got hit by fourteen hundred rockets
- 8:29Speaker 3: shot him all out of the ear with our great
- 8:32Speaker 3: with our great patriot missiles. Think of it, they shot
- 8:35Speaker 3: one hundred missiles at one of our aircraft Carrize Abraham Lincoln,
- 8:40Speaker 3: one of the biggest ships in the world actually, and
- 8:43Speaker 3: out of one hundred and one missiles shot, every single
- 8:46Speaker 3: one of them was knocked.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Down in the sea. Think of the Think of what
- 8:49Speaker 4: that means.
- 8:51Speaker 3: One hundred and one missiles, highly sophisticated, very fast missile
- 8:55Speaker 3: shot out of one hundred and one all one hundred
- 8:59Speaker 3: and one shot down and now for the most part,
- 9:02Speaker 3: lie at the bottom of the sea. Pretty amazing, right,
- 9:06Speaker 3: pretty amazing. Our military is amazing, Pete. You know the
- 9:10Speaker 3: attack I'm talking about recently, one hundred and one shot.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I said, wow, I saw that. You can see we
- 9:16Speaker 3: have sort of pretty good equipment that we see. It's
- 9:20Speaker 3: called the red line. Those red lines were thick, right,
- 9:23Speaker 3: I said, that's a lot. And then we saw them,
- 9:24Speaker 3: one by one just get shot. And these guys that
- 9:27Speaker 3: do the shooting the coolest cucumbers ever. You know, most people,
- 9:31Speaker 3: you don't have a lot of time when a missile's
- 9:33Speaker 3: going at twenty five hundred miles an hour, I don't
- 9:37Speaker 3: care how far away it is.
- 9:38Speaker 4: You don't have a lot of time. But I watched them.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I watched them sit down and think, great studentsts.
- 9:47Speaker 4: A lot of mits.
- 9:48Speaker 3: A lot of guys like this and not as much
- 9:51Speaker 3: into the muscle as they are this one right here, and.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Amazing. Just watch them perform under.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Great pressure because they have a matter of seconds to
- 10:01Speaker 3: do it. If they don't do it properly, it's a
- 10:06Speaker 3: big problem.
- 10:07Speaker 4: You know, because these were powerful.
- 10:08Speaker 3: These were very powerful missiles coming and so a lot
- 10:11Speaker 3: of people choke.
- 10:13Speaker 4: They don't choke. These guys, don't choke. You're the best
- 10:15Speaker 4: in the world. We have the best in the world.
- 10:17Speaker 5: We have the best in the world.
- 10:19Speaker 1: The President giving great news that there really is a
- 10:22Speaker 1: chance now that we may be getting close to the
- 10:25Speaker 1: end of the war with Iran, and of course the
- 10:28Speaker 1: liberal media hating every moment of what the President said
- 10:31Speaker 1: today from the Oval Office. There is a lot of
- 10:36Speaker 1: waste fraud and abuse that we know about that is
- 10:38Speaker 1: in our government. We're witnessing a lot of it being
- 10:40Speaker 1: exposed right now in California, in Minnesota and New York.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We've seen it with a number of hospice offices that
- 10:47Speaker 1: are in one little office building, for example, in California.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But there's also waste fraud abuse that is affecting you directly,
- 10:55Speaker 1: and it deals with health care, health insurance in general.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Joining me now to talk about that.
- 11:00Speaker 1: It's an important issue for so many Americans with rising costs.
- 11:03Speaker 1: As Wendell Porter, he's a former healthcare executive and the
- 11:07Speaker 1: executive editor of Healthcare Uncovered, is on substack.
- 11:10Speaker 5: You should check it out, Winde.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I appreciate you taking some time to come on the
- 11:14Speaker 1: show and let's talk about this now. There is a
- 11:17Speaker 1: lot of frustration, and the President's even talked about this
- 11:20Speaker 1: with transparency and billing and things like that, but it
- 11:23Speaker 1: doesn't seem to be getting better yet for the consumer.
- 11:26Speaker 2: We need to go beyond that. And I think the
- 11:28Speaker 2: President realizes that he's in the recent past, in the
- 11:32Speaker 2: past few weeks, he's called insurance companies, big health insurance
- 11:35Speaker 2: companies like the ones that I work for, Humana and
- 11:39Speaker 2: Signa and a few others, big bad, money sucking companies.
- 11:43Speaker 2: And he's exactly right. These companies are anything but transparent
- 11:48Speaker 2: in the way they do business, and as a consequence,
- 11:50Speaker 2: they've been ripping off taxpayers for many years in many
- 11:53Speaker 2: different ways. They have also grown to be these enormous corporations,
- 11:58Speaker 2: these giant conglomerates that a lot of lawmakers that at
- 12:02Speaker 2: both the state and federal levels, Republicans taking the lead,
- 12:07Speaker 2: but working with Democrats to address that and try to
- 12:10Speaker 2: root out this fraud that's just so inherent in big
- 12:14Speaker 2: insurance companies these days.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It really is a big problem, as you mentioned. And
- 12:19Speaker 1: the question now is what should Americans listening right now
- 12:23Speaker 1: be advocating for. What should they be calling their congressman,
- 12:26Speaker 1: their centers and saying, this is what I'm asking for,
- 12:29Speaker 1: this is what we need, this is what we want.
- 12:32Speaker 2: They should, they should. If you're focused on Washington One
- 12:36Speaker 2: built in particular, that has been recently introduced by Senator
- 12:40Speaker 2: Josh Hawley to introduced it, believe or not with Elizabeth Warren.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Would I think it's break up big medicine. It would
- 12:47Speaker 2: require these big conglomerates to be broken up. And it's
- 12:51Speaker 2: something that Congressman Buddy Carter, a Republican pharmacist who's a
- 12:55Speaker 2: member of Congress from South Georgia, has been advocating for
- 12:59Speaker 2: great breaking up United Health Group in particular. But all
- 13:02Speaker 2: these big companies United CVS, which owns Signa and also
- 13:08Speaker 2: a Signal where I used to work, owns express Scripts,
- 13:13Speaker 2: they're being targeted by and rightfully so by lawmakers and
- 13:16Speaker 2: in Tennessee. I just wrote a piece this morning about
- 13:20Speaker 2: a legislation that was introduced by a Republican from my
- 13:24Speaker 2: hometown of Kingsport, Tennessee, that would require CVS to divest
- 13:30Speaker 2: some of its holdings. That company not only owns nine thousand,
- 13:35Speaker 2: more than nine thousand retail stores drug stores around the country,
- 13:38Speaker 2: it also owns Etna, which is a big health insurance company,
- 13:42Speaker 2: and a big pharmacy benefit manager called care Mark. And
- 13:46Speaker 2: it's got a lock on so much of what we
- 13:49Speaker 2: spend on healthcare. And lawmakers, both like I said, in
- 13:53Speaker 2: national and other state capitals and in Washington are addressing that.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And that's where I would have your listeners encourage them
- 14:00Speaker 2: to do, is to call their lawmakers and support those
- 14:04Speaker 2: those bills that will call for the breakup of these
- 14:06Speaker 2: giant corporations.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You know, one of the things that the President did
- 14:09Speaker 1: recently was trump our X and it was amazing how
- 14:12Speaker 1: much he was able to lower the price of, you know,
- 14:16Speaker 1: of these of these drugs that people need, many of
- 14:18Speaker 1: them life saving drugs that they need, just by putting
- 14:21Speaker 1: pressure in saying no, you're going to give us favored
- 14:23Speaker 1: nation status. I feel like a lot of what you're
- 14:26Speaker 1: talking about right now is just pure political will. If
- 14:29Speaker 1: the American people know what to advocate for and refuse
- 14:33Speaker 1: to accept the way things are being done now, then
- 14:36Speaker 1: there can be real changes.
- 14:37Speaker 5: Am I wrong?
- 14:39Speaker 2: No, You're exactly right, And I'm seeing that develop seeing
- 14:42Speaker 2: it for the first time. I think as long as
- 14:44Speaker 2: I've been working in politics and healthcare and business, more
- 14:49Speaker 2: and more America's waking up to realize how they're being
- 14:52Speaker 2: ripped off, and how these big corporations are at the
- 14:54Speaker 2: heart of are being ripped off and at the heart
- 14:58Speaker 2: of waste fraud, abuse encouraged. I'm optimistic because with more
- 15:04Speaker 2: and more people are experiencing how they are not only
- 15:07Speaker 2: being ripped off, but how these companies are refusing to
- 15:12Speaker 2: approve coveries for procedures that their doctors says they need,
- 15:15Speaker 2: but also the role that they play in ever increasing
- 15:18Speaker 2: pharmaceutical prices. The President, as you noted, start trump RX,
- 15:23Speaker 2: which is circumventing to a large extent the role that
- 15:27Speaker 2: some of these companies, these big insurans are playing. But
- 15:30Speaker 2: they have become these giant middlemen in the pharmacy supply chain,
- 15:34Speaker 2: and they as they called pharmacy benefit managers, and they're
- 15:38Speaker 2: stucking more money out of the pharmacy supply chain than
- 15:42Speaker 2: even the drug makers are getting, and certainly more than
- 15:45Speaker 2: pharmacists are getting. So I am seeing a lot of
- 15:49Speaker 2: attention and I'm encouraged that we could see some action finally.
- 15:53Speaker 1: For people that are listening right now, where can they
- 15:55Speaker 1: get more information on this as it continues to unfold
- 15:59Speaker 1: that they can also, you know, make phone calls and
- 16:01Speaker 1: advocate for Obviously you're the executivetor of Healthcare Uncovered on SUBSAC,
- 16:05Speaker 1: but where else are there great resources for them?
- 16:07Speaker 2: One of my nonprofit organizations, a nonprofit E lead, is
- 16:10Speaker 2: called the Center for Health and Democracy. You can check
- 16:13Speaker 2: there for information. But like we were talking, I would
- 16:17Speaker 2: really encourage people to get information about Josh Hawley's bill
- 16:22Speaker 2: and look at what Buddy Carter is calling for on
- 16:26Speaker 2: the House side to bust these companies up and call
- 16:31Speaker 2: your member of Congress and encourage them to support this,
- 16:35Speaker 2: both Democrats and Republicans, regardless of neo representation.
- 16:38Speaker 5: It's really important. Wendell.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I appreciate your time to look forward to having you
- 16:41Speaker 1: back here again soon.
- 16:43Speaker 5: So thank you for what you're doing your leadership on
- 16:44Speaker 5: this one.
- 16:45Speaker 1: It's an important one and it can really change and
- 16:47Speaker 1: help so many Americans out There's no doubt about that.
- 16:50Speaker 1: America is entering the two hundred and fiftieth year, and
- 16:53Speaker 1: the direction of this country is being decided right now
- 16:56Speaker 1: in our culture and our economy, and who we choose
- 17:00Speaker 1: support matters more than ever. Most wireless companies don't care
- 17:05Speaker 1: who you are or what you believe. They just want
- 17:08Speaker 1: your money. Patriot Mobile they're different. For more than twelve years,
- 17:12Speaker 1: they've stood with Americans who believe freedom is worth defending,
- 17:16Speaker 1: funding the Christian Conservative movement when others stay silent.
- 17:20Speaker 5: That's what they do. So here's the deal.
- 17:22Speaker 1: You don't have to give up quality or service when
- 17:25Speaker 1: you switch to Patriot Mobile. They deliver premium priority access
- 17:30Speaker 1: on all three major US networks, so you'll get the
- 17:34Speaker 1: same or better coverage than you have today. Think switching
- 17:38Speaker 1: as a hassle, It isn't anymore in twenty twenty six.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade, and
- 17:44Speaker 1: their one hundred percent US based support team can activate
- 17:47Speaker 1: you in minutes still paying off a device. Patriot Mobile
- 17:51Speaker 1: even offers a contract buyout. This is a defining year.
- 17:55Speaker 1: We must work together to save our country. Go to
- 17:59Speaker 1: Patriot mobile dot com slash ferguson or call ninety seven
- 18:04Speaker 1: to two Patriot use the promo code ferguson for a
- 18:08Speaker 1: free month of service. I use Patriot Mobile and you
- 18:11Speaker 1: can too patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven
- 18:15Speaker 1: to two Patriot Switch Today Joe Biden released illegal alien
- 18:21Speaker 1: shot and killed Sheridan Gorman as she ran for her life.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Is now what the prosecutors have said. That illegal alien
- 18:30Speaker 1: was released into the United States of America on purpose
- 18:33Speaker 1: by former President Joe Biden's administration. That same individual shot
- 18:38Speaker 1: and killed this eighteen year old, a freshman at Loyola
- 18:43Speaker 1: University of Chicago, as she ran for her life. We
- 18:46Speaker 1: now know trying to flee for safety is what the
- 18:49Speaker 1: prosecutors are now alleging in documents. Now, this twenty five
- 18:54Speaker 1: year old illegal alien from Venezuela was arrested by the
- 18:58Speaker 1: Chicago Police depart and he's been charged with murdering Sheridan Gorman,
- 19:03Speaker 1: who also went by sheriff in a random attack on
- 19:07Speaker 1: a pier at Chicago by the Beach. Prosecutors are now
- 19:12Speaker 1: providing new details as to what they say occurred on
- 19:15Speaker 1: the night of March nineteenth, and here is part of
- 19:18Speaker 1: their report. They say at one thirty am, Gorman eighteen,
- 19:23Speaker 1: was with a group of friends on the pier, a
- 19:27Speaker 1: few blocks north of the university's campus.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Gorman alerted her friends that someone.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Was hiding near the pier, at which point the group
- 19:35Speaker 1: of friends was chased by the person, who has been
- 19:39Speaker 1: identified as Jose Medina Medina of Venezuela. Medina opened fire
- 19:47Speaker 1: and shot Gorman in her back as she tried to
- 19:50Speaker 1: run away. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Gorman's
- 19:54Speaker 1: friends were able to duck for cover in the grassy
- 19:57Speaker 1: area near the pier as Medina ran back to an
- 20:00Speaker 1: apartment on North Sheridan Road where he had left earlier.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Gorman's friends observed Medina dressed mostly in black, including a
- 20:09Speaker 1: black face mask. Sheridan's friends and family have also now
- 20:14Speaker 1: created a go Fundme page to help cover the young
- 20:16Speaker 1: woman's memorial service and a scholarship in her honor. Shara
- 20:22Speaker 1: loved deeply and live fully. The go fundme page reads,
- 20:26Speaker 1: she loved Jesus, her family, her sister Mattie, most of all,
- 20:31Speaker 1: her lifelong friends, and the simple, beautiful moments that made
- 20:35Speaker 1: up her life. She had a way of making everyone
- 20:38Speaker 1: feel special, seen and loved to know her was to
- 20:42Speaker 1: be changed by her. On Sunday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement,
- 20:47Speaker 1: you know, ICE agents, the same people Democrats want to abolish,
- 20:51Speaker 1: revealed that Medina is an illegal alien from Venezuela who
- 20:56Speaker 1: was apprehended at the southern border on May the ninth,
- 21:00Speaker 1: tw twenty three. Thanks to former President Joe Biden's expansive
- 21:04Speaker 1: catch and release policy, Medina was released from border patrol
- 21:09Speaker 1: custody into the US interior. One month later, on June nineteenth,
- 21:15Speaker 1: Medina was arrested in Chicago for shoplifting. Thanks to Chicago
- 21:19Speaker 1: and Illinois strict sanctuary policies, the illegal alien was released
- 21:25Speaker 1: from police custody without being turned over to ICE agents
- 21:29Speaker 1: for arrest and deportation. Now Medina remains in police Costina
- 21:35Speaker 1: is reportedly being treated for tuberculosis. Is what the latest
- 21:39Speaker 1: documents reveal. What's even more shocking about this is how
- 21:44Speaker 1: far the Democrats are willing to go to claim that
- 21:48Speaker 1: somehow this illegal immigrant really shouldn't be blamed for this murder.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I'll give you a perfect example. Because they care more
- 21:57Speaker 1: about one group of people, illegal immigrants more than they
- 22:01Speaker 1: do about American citizens. Let me introduce you to Chicago
- 22:06Speaker 1: Democratic forty ninth Ward alderman Maria Hayden, who pretty much
- 22:12Speaker 1: blames Gorman for her own murder in a local Fox
- 22:16Speaker 1: interview that she's done. Listen to what she has to
- 22:19Speaker 1: say about how maybe it was her fault for startling
- 22:23Speaker 1: the man that assassinated her.
- 22:25Speaker 7: Well, from what I've been told so far, right from
- 22:28Speaker 7: what police know, from speaking to the students who were
- 22:31Speaker 7: with her, it seems she might have that as they
- 22:37Speaker 7: were just out. You know, people go out to the
- 22:39Speaker 7: beach all the time, right and they go out on
- 22:41Speaker 7: the pier, they walk around. So the kids were out
- 22:43Speaker 7: doing normal, normal things people do in the neighborhood, and
- 22:46Speaker 7: it sounds like this might have been a wrong place,
- 22:49Speaker 7: wrong time, running into a person who had a gun.
- 22:52Speaker 7: They might have startled this person at the end of
- 22:54Speaker 7: the peer unintentionally. But that's all we know. So from
- 23:01Speaker 7: what I've been told, what police investigation has turned up
- 23:05Speaker 7: so far, what they've been able to share with Medium,
- 23:08Speaker 7: with Loyola University, we don't believe there is costs for
- 23:11Speaker 7: broader community concern.
- 23:14Speaker 1: To be clear, you have an Alderman, a Democrat that said,
- 23:19Speaker 1: the kids were out doing normal things people do in
- 23:22Speaker 1: the neighborhood, and it sounds like they might have just
- 23:24Speaker 1: been a wrong place, wrong time situation, running into a
- 23:27Speaker 1: person who had a gun. They might have unintentionally startled
- 23:31Speaker 1: this person at the end of the peer.
- 23:35Speaker 5: That is her exact quote.
- 23:37Speaker 1: These people are sick to blame an innocent freshman, eighteen
- 23:43Speaker 1: year old student who was spending time with her family
- 23:46Speaker 1: and friends and love the Lord and claiming that somehow
- 23:50Speaker 1: her killing, her assassination was somehow her fault. I want
- 23:56Speaker 1: you to listen to those words again. This should be
- 23:59Speaker 1: put everywhere on social media. You have a student that
- 24:04Speaker 1: was assassinated, and this is how the Democrats respond.
- 24:09Speaker 7: All the time, right, and they go out on the peer,
- 24:11Speaker 7: they walk around. So the kids were out doing normal,
- 24:14Speaker 7: normal things people do in the neighborhood, and it sounds
- 24:17Speaker 7: like this might have been a wrong place, wrong time,
- 24:20Speaker 7: running into a person who had a gun. They might
- 24:22Speaker 7: have startled this person at the end of the yeer unintentionally.
- 24:28Speaker 7: But that's all the time, right, and they go out.
- 24:31Speaker 1: It is amazing to hear democrats actually say that. By
- 24:34Speaker 1: the way, if you think, well, that's just some local
- 24:37Speaker 1: elected official, and surely they don't actually mean this.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Well.
- 24:41Speaker 1: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, another Democrat, the leader of
- 24:46Speaker 1: the Democratic Party in the House, He was asked if
- 24:50Speaker 1: he believed that Venezuela and a legal alien charged with
- 24:54Speaker 1: murdering Sheridan Gorman in Chicago should be deported.
- 24:58Speaker 5: A very simple question.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Any sane person would answer that question with yes, of
- 25:03Speaker 1: course they should be deported. Not Hakim Jeffries, because the
- 25:07Speaker 1: Democratic Party stands up for illegal immigrants, not Americans, even
- 25:12Speaker 1: when they're brutally murdered. What did Hakim say, He said,
- 25:16Speaker 1: just five words. Listen carefully.
- 25:19Speaker 7: An illegal immigrant has been charged with murdering a college
- 25:21Speaker 7: student in Chicago last week.
- 25:23Speaker 6: To House Democrats believe, if he's convicted, he's someone who
- 25:26Speaker 6: should be deported.
- 25:27Speaker 5: I'll look into the case. Do you expect anyone I'll
- 25:30Speaker 5: look into the case.
- 25:33Speaker 1: That is all that the leader of the Democratic Party
- 25:37Speaker 1: had to say. No compassion for the family, no compassion
- 25:41Speaker 1: for anyone else involved. And let's be clear, it isn't
- 25:45Speaker 1: just this girl that was killed in Chicago. We also
- 25:49Speaker 1: have another story that is not making national news. And
- 25:52Speaker 1: I'll ask for your help right now sharing this story
- 25:55Speaker 1: and this show wherever you can. An illegal alien from
- 25:59Speaker 1: Mexico living in Utah has just been charged with attempted
- 26:03Speaker 1: murder after authorities said he's slit a woman's throat. Heesus
- 26:09Speaker 1: Ramirez Padilla has now been charged with attempted murder, obstruction
- 26:14Speaker 1: of justice, aggravate assault, and drug paraphernalia after the March
- 26:19Speaker 1: eighteenth incident in Salt Lake City. According to the Department
- 26:22Speaker 1: of Homeland Security, immigration authorities are requesting that local officials
- 26:27Speaker 1: honor a detainer lodged against the suspect. Again, this is
- 26:32Speaker 1: where Democrats apparently don't like to turn over bad people
- 26:36Speaker 1: to the federal government. Now, the victim is reportedly in
- 26:40Speaker 1: critical condition right now in the hospital. The woman's identity
- 26:43Speaker 1: has not been revealed. Heyzus is a dangerous criminal legal
- 26:48Speaker 1: alien who violently strangled and slit a woman's throat multiple times,
- 26:53Speaker 1: is what the DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Biss said
- 26:57Speaker 1: in a statement. We are calling on politicians and not
- 27:01Speaker 1: released this barbaric criminal from jail and into American neighborhoods.
- 27:06Speaker 1: This criminal legal alien has no place in American communities.
- 27:11Speaker 1: According to the local reports, Padilla and the woman were
- 27:15Speaker 1: smoking methamphetamine before the alleged crime. Police responded to a report
- 27:20Speaker 1: of a woman crying in an alley and found her
- 27:22Speaker 1: bleeding with a deep cut in her neck. A homeowner
- 27:26Speaker 1: surveillance camera reportedly caught the incident on camera, leading to
- 27:30Speaker 1: the identification of the illegal immigrant. When he was arrested,
- 27:34Speaker 1: his hands and pants were covered in blood. According to
- 27:36Speaker 1: the reports, he met the victim the previous night, and
- 27:40Speaker 1: they met up to take drugs together the night of
- 27:42Speaker 1: the alleged murder attempt Padilla also reportedly confessed to police
- 27:47Speaker 1: that he strangled the victim and slit her throat, but
- 27:50Speaker 1: said the drugs altered his state of mind. It's unclear
- 27:53Speaker 1: whether Padilla, who remained in the Salt Lake County jail
- 27:56Speaker 1: as of Tuesday, has obtained even legal count I'm sure
- 28:01Speaker 1: there's some group out there that will be more than
- 28:03Speaker 1: happy to represent an illegal immigrant that did this. The
- 28:06Speaker 1: suspected attempted murder comes on the heels of several other
- 28:10Speaker 1: high profile crimes in which illegal aliens are the prime suspect.
- 28:15Speaker 1: As I mentioned earlier, the one of this student in Chicago,
- 28:19Speaker 1: and in late February, there was another high profile case
- 28:23Speaker 1: of an alleged illegal alien crime that made national news
- 28:28Speaker 1: when abdul Leone was charged with murder and the stabbing
- 28:32Speaker 1: death of Stephanie Minterter in Fairfax County, Virginia. Leone, just
- 28:38Speaker 1: so you know how bad his record was, had thirty
- 28:42Speaker 1: prior arrest I want to say that again, thirty prior arrests.
- 28:49Speaker 1: So the final question that everyone should be asking right
- 28:51Speaker 1: now is this, why are Democrats so committed to keeping
- 28:55Speaker 1: illegal immigrants in the country and that they're so willing
- 28:59Speaker 1: to blame a woman allegedly shot by one of those
- 29:03Speaker 1: illegals in Chicago to avoid talking about deportations. The good
- 29:09Speaker 1: news is President Donald Trump has just sworn in Mark
- 29:13Speaker 1: Wayne Mullen as the Homeland Security Secretary after it was
- 29:17Speaker 1: expedited through the Senate. At least now we know that
- 29:21Speaker 1: we have someone at DHS that is willing to go
- 29:25Speaker 1: all in to protect Americans from vicious individuals just like
- 29:30Speaker 1: this individual in Chicago. Don't forget to share this podcast,
- 29:35Speaker 1: by the way, with your family and your friends on
- 29:37Speaker 1: social media wherever you can hit that subscribe or auto download.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Button, and I'll talk to you again. Tomorrow,
