- 0:19Speaker 1: true good of Steve har listening to movie together for
- 0:26Speaker 1: ste bar Please Bobby, I don't joy by join me

- 1:24Speaker 1: turn to turn them out, got to turn out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come come on your baby
- 1:59Speaker 1: at it? Huh? I show well a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You'all listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I'll do took on me what I said, But I
- 2:15Speaker 1: do like I say always. It just is a constant
- 2:19Speaker 1: reminder of how good God has been, of all the
- 2:22Speaker 1: things he's brought me through, all the challenges he's allowed
- 2:26Speaker 1: me to overcome, all the times he's forgiven me, all
- 2:30Speaker 1: the times he's allowed me to get it all wrong
- 2:32Speaker 1: and turn around and get it right. And I still
- 2:35Speaker 1: got a lot of challenges in front of me, still
- 2:38Speaker 1: got a lot of changes I probably need to make.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So my question to you is what's stopping you from
- 2:45Speaker 1: having the life that you want? What's stopping you from
- 2:49Speaker 1: having the life that you want? I don't really know
- 2:53Speaker 1: a person that doesn't want a good life for themselves
- 2:56Speaker 1: or for their families. Now, I know a lot of
- 2:59Speaker 1: people who have been beaten down by the process, who
- 3:03Speaker 1: because of some mistakes and some setbacks, some mishaps, a
- 3:09Speaker 1: set of circumstances, sometimes just life just deals them a
- 3:16Speaker 1: hand of cards and they just figure it's all defeat.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I know a lot of people who have given up
- 3:25Speaker 1: on achieving the life of their dreams, but I know
- 3:29Speaker 1: they'd still want them if they could get to them,
- 3:32Speaker 1: but they just allowed to settle for so many reasons.
- 3:37Speaker 1: So who I'm talking to is you today? What's really
- 3:41Speaker 1: stopping you from having the life that you want? What's
- 3:44Speaker 1: really at the core of stopping you? What is that?
- 3:49Speaker 1: Is it your friends or your associates. Is it the
- 3:52Speaker 1: fear of what you think somebody else will think of
- 3:55Speaker 1: you if you decide to change. Is it what I
- 3:59Speaker 1: used to call the car all of the while? Is
- 4:01Speaker 1: it the fact that you keep thinking that the thing
- 4:05Speaker 1: that you're doing that's providing you these momentary moments of
- 4:09Speaker 1: pleasure that really ain't really good or healthy for you.
- 4:13Speaker 1: You don't want to stop doing that because you've got
- 4:15Speaker 1: just a little bit more something else you want to do.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I call that the call at a while. You know,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's just out there. Them streets is calling you, Them
- 4:22Speaker 1: lights is calling you. You know, them girls is calling you.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Them guys that's on the wrong side, keep calling you.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You can't seem to make a decision by the right guy.
- 4:32Speaker 1: You keep picking the wrong guy all the time. What
- 4:35Speaker 1: is it that's stopping you from having the life that
- 4:38Speaker 1: you really want to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that's the reason that's stopping you from having the life
- 4:46Speaker 1: that you want to have. It's no good because at
- 4:49Speaker 1: the end of the day, here's the real deal. See,
- 4:52Speaker 1: God is available, and God is available for all of us,
- 4:57Speaker 1: and God has a plan for all of us, and
- 4:59Speaker 1: God wants very best for all of us. That's the
- 5:02Speaker 1: truth of the matter. So now what we're gonna do
- 5:05Speaker 1: to get started having that life? First of all, if
- 5:09Speaker 1: it's your friends, I want you to understand something. Your
- 5:12Speaker 1: friends can't save you. A lot of your friends offer
- 5:15Speaker 1: no real help for you. Most of your friends don't
- 5:19Speaker 1: have the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a wide
- 5:22Speaker 1: range of reasons and misery love company. So usually when
- 5:26Speaker 1: your friends are in a bad position, they kind of
- 5:29Speaker 1: like company in that bad position. Your friends ain't going
- 5:33Speaker 1: to church, You're gonna be their friend. They don't really
- 5:35Speaker 1: want you to go to church. You know your friends
- 5:39Speaker 1: don't pray, so why would they offer up prayer as
- 5:42Speaker 1: a solution to you. You know, your friends don't really
- 5:47Speaker 1: really get the fact that if you treat people better,
- 5:51Speaker 1: people would treat you better. So what's that? So your
- 5:55Speaker 1: friends are a lot of times the reasons, you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: the peer pressure of what and then the thought in
- 6:01Speaker 1: your mind of what they're gonna think once they find
- 6:03Speaker 1: out I don't do what they do anymore. Who cares
- 6:07Speaker 1: what they think other than you? I mean, really, you
- 6:11Speaker 1: can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you from
- 6:15Speaker 1: having the best life you wanted to have. If I
- 6:17Speaker 1: went by that theory right there, I wouldn't I wouldn't
- 6:20Speaker 1: even be on this mic this morning. I would have
- 6:23Speaker 1: never become a stand up I would had I listened
- 6:26Speaker 1: to the people around me who clearly told me when
- 6:30Speaker 1: I quit my job to pursue this, boy, don't you
- 6:33Speaker 1: quit your job? You got a family, Boy, don't you
- 6:35Speaker 1: do this. You ain't got no bid dad, ain't ain't
- 6:38Speaker 1: no security in that. Get yourself a job, Go down
- 6:41Speaker 1: here and whet your brother go to work over here.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I heard all of that. I didn't let that stop
- 6:47Speaker 1: me from pursuing this. Why would you allow that to
- 6:50Speaker 1: stop you from pursuing your relationship with God so you
- 6:54Speaker 1: can have the best life you could possibly have. You
- 6:57Speaker 1: gang bang because they've convinced you to do. This is
- 7:00Speaker 1: the family situation and love that you don't have, and
- 7:03Speaker 1: they've convinced you that this is your only way, your
- 7:07Speaker 1: only source of getting over And then you drum up
- 7:11Speaker 1: these ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they
- 7:15Speaker 1: sound so good when you're listening to everybody else you're
- 7:19Speaker 1: surrounded by telling you why we gang banging, why we're
- 7:22Speaker 1: holding this blockdown, why we slanging this thing here right here,
- 7:26Speaker 1: why we're letting it go like this here. You keep
- 7:29Speaker 1: listening to them when all in your heart of hearts
- 7:32Speaker 1: you know this ain't right, You already know, but you
- 7:36Speaker 1: allow that form of the call of the wile that
- 7:40Speaker 1: wanting to be accepted by a group of people who
- 7:43Speaker 1: trying to get you to accept the way. So you
- 7:46Speaker 1: can further they progress to even prove that you worthy
- 7:49Speaker 1: to be around them, you got to commit some type
- 7:52Speaker 1: of crime to even prove that you're worthy to be
- 7:55Speaker 1: around them. Then when you get busted on the crime,
- 7:58Speaker 1: what happens to that where you're familyad Now they don't
- 8:01Speaker 1: come down there to see you because guess what, they
- 8:04Speaker 1: can't turn in their idea to death at a law
- 8:06Speaker 1: enforcements center. So now your homies can't come visit you.
- 8:10Speaker 1: And then you know your family back out here, they
- 8:12Speaker 1: ain't taking care of your family because it's all about them.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Then you learn that what is it that stopping you
- 8:18Speaker 1: from having a life that you always wanted to have?
- 8:22Speaker 1: What is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why
- 8:26Speaker 1: do you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 8:32Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 8:34Speaker 1: God a try? Why won't you disassociate yourself? Why would
- 8:38Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 8:41Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 8:45Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 8:48Speaker 1: in there, and then every time you go in there,
- 8:50Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:53Speaker 1: little silly little friends try to make you think that's
- 8:55Speaker 1: a badge of honor. They ain't no badge of honor. Man,
- 8:58Speaker 1: that's one mode. What's one most scratch on that record?
- 9:01Speaker 1: That's one more. That's one more nail in that coffin.
- 9:05Speaker 1: That's one step closer to that third strike where you
- 9:08Speaker 1: ain't gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to
- 9:11Speaker 1: that graveyard. You keep on. Why would you not give
- 9:15Speaker 1: God a try? Why would you not go and see
- 9:17Speaker 1: what your life could really be? What is it that's
- 9:20Speaker 1: stopping you? What is it? Because see, I got news
- 9:24Speaker 1: for you. There's nothing like waking up free. I don't
- 9:28Speaker 1: care who you are. There's nothing like waking up with
- 9:32Speaker 1: the joy in your heart. Now, if you ain't gonna
- 9:34Speaker 1: be free, get the joy in your heart, the satisfaction
- 9:38Speaker 1: of knowing that you accomplishing something with your life. Help
- 9:41Speaker 1: somebody behind them bars, get in the program. Show these
- 9:44Speaker 1: young cats when they come in a better way. But
- 9:46Speaker 1: don't you dare sit there man and just ride it out,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and man, just go and get the fullest life that
- 9:54Speaker 1: you can have. What you know what it feels like
- 9:57Speaker 1: to wake up and be on your way somewhere knowing
- 10:00Speaker 1: that you have something to accomplish, that you can change somebody,
- 10:03Speaker 1: that you can stop somebody from going down the roads
- 10:06Speaker 1: you went down. It's a whole lot of ways to
- 10:08Speaker 1: make your life better. But why would you not go
- 10:10Speaker 1: and have the best life you can have? What is
- 10:13Speaker 1: it that's stopping you? What is it really really? So
- 10:18Speaker 1: you think that Satan really has your best interests at heart?
- 10:22Speaker 1: That Dela thing your mama kept telling you about praying,
- 10:25Speaker 1: It wasn't listening, it was you. But you know, it
- 10:27Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to get back to that. It
- 10:29Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to get back to where you're from.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late go back home. It ain't
- 10:35Speaker 1: ever too late to turn around. It ain't ever too
- 10:38Speaker 1: late to get your life together. It ain't ever too
- 10:41Speaker 1: late to seek God, And it ain't ever too late
- 10:44Speaker 1: to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed to pray,
- 10:48Speaker 1: and don't be too proud to pray. Because prayer changes things.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Prayer change people too. I'm a witness to that, Ladies, gentlemen,
- 11:03Speaker 1: boys and girls. This to Steve Harvey Morning Show. This
- 11:09Speaker 1: is radio unlike any other. This is not planned, rehearsed
- 11:19Speaker 1: and oftentimes not even wanted this real radio. What y'all

- 23:13Speaker 1: gone through some security tapes and things of that nature.
- 23:16Speaker 1: We're missing so many rims of paper, We're missing thousands
- 23:20Speaker 1: of paper clips, we're missing so many office supplies, and
- 23:25Speaker 1: it's been brought to the security's attention that it's targeting
- 23:28Speaker 1: that you are the person that has taken all of this. Officer,
- 23:31Speaker 1: let me get this right. You are calling my place
- 23:34Speaker 1: of business asking me if I have used paper clips
- 23:36Speaker 1: and paper. I have customers in my establishment right now.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I can't talk to you about this, okay, ma'am listen.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I know that I'm sorry for calling your place of business,
- 23:45Speaker 1: but I want to say that we're at the point
- 23:48Speaker 1: of actually picking you up behind items that have been
- 23:51Speaker 1: taken from the company. So I wanted to call and
- 23:53Speaker 1: see if we could get it taken care of over
- 23:54Speaker 1: the phone. Now you gotta go, then I'm gonna have
- 23:57Speaker 1: to actually come out to your business, and that's something
- 23:59Speaker 1: that I'm trying not to do. You know what, hold
- 24:01Speaker 1: on want that if you hold that who is this
- 24:05Speaker 1: on my phone talking about from damn paper clips. I
- 24:08Speaker 1: have been gone from there for six months, and you
- 24:10Speaker 1: calling me now about some paper and someone paper clips. Man,
- 24:13Speaker 1: we're missing at least five thousand paper clips. I'm gonna
- 24:17Speaker 1: tell you what. I have been out of that company
- 24:20Speaker 1: for six months. I worked for y'all for eight years,
- 24:22Speaker 1: and you won't let me go. I didn't take anything
- 24:24Speaker 1: from you, Okay. Have you ever used any paper or
- 24:27Speaker 1: any paper clips outside? Have you done that? Of course?
- 24:32Speaker 1: I used paper every day I run a business, okay,
- 24:35Speaker 1: but you're using our paper for your own personal business,
- 24:38Speaker 1: your travel agent, or whatever it is that you have.
- 24:40Speaker 1: You're using office supplies. That right there is against the law.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Oh no, I will go and buy you some damn
- 24:47Speaker 1: paper clips. Okay, Well we don't want paperclips. Man. Now
- 24:51Speaker 1: we've given you a severance play, and from my understanding,
- 24:53Speaker 1: it's been a substantial amount. And right now it's gonna
- 24:57Speaker 1: be filing charges and taking you to court over these
- 25:00Speaker 1: paper clips and paper. I'm gonna tell you what you
- 25:03Speaker 1: can do that five thousand paper clips, I'm paper clips
- 25:04Speaker 1: them together and hang you out for about y'all. I
- 25:06Speaker 1: didn't steal no damn paper clips. You're gonna call me
- 25:08Speaker 1: six months later to talk about some paper and paper clips. Ma'am,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I don't want to go back to the book. Fillip.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry, this is some fill up. So are you
- 25:17Speaker 1: wanting to return all the merchandise because it looks like
- 25:20Speaker 1: I didn't hate no merchandise. I don't have to steal
- 25:23Speaker 1: nothing from y'all. I work for you for eight years.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Something about for eight years. You stole paper paper clips,
- 25:32Speaker 1: You stole all the supplies, scissors, masking tape. You have
- 25:36Speaker 1: taken markers, pens. We got it down to know what
- 25:39Speaker 1: video tape you got, Phillip. I ain't steal nothing from y'all.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I was an employee of the year. You all gave
- 25:44Speaker 1: me at seven package. How dare you call me six
- 25:46Speaker 1: months later? You can take them paper clips and shove
- 25:48Speaker 1: them up? You're behind? Excuse me? Are we done here? No,
- 25:51Speaker 1: we're not done here. So take your video tape and
- 25:54Speaker 1: your paper clips and your scissors, and you know what
- 25:57Speaker 1: to do with them. No, no, I don't, ma'am. Listen,
- 26:00Speaker 1: what we're gonna have to do is you're gonna get
- 26:02Speaker 1: served right there, Extra Travel Agency, where are you located?

- 26:10Speaker 1: what's your address? I'm gonna bring your damn paper and
- 26:13Speaker 1: paper clips to you? How about that? So you are
- 26:18Speaker 1: you are guilty of using the paper aren't you all
- 26:21Speaker 1: used paper filler? I don't feel, which means guess what.
- 26:25Speaker 1: It's against the law, which means you're helping your law something.
- 26:28Speaker 1: If you are taking one paper clip, it's against the law.
- 26:31Speaker 1: And well, you got pens in your car Philippa Corporation.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I bet you do right work for the company. I'm
- 26:39Speaker 1: trying to run a business. So you're stealing too. Give
- 26:42Speaker 1: me your voice this number. You calling my damn phone
- 26:44Speaker 1: talking about some pens and paper clips? Here watch your mine?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Give me your address. I'll bring the pens and paper clips.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You ain't gotta what you do thinking so many pens

- 27:05Speaker 1: police to come and pick you up, okay, because I'm
- 27:07Speaker 1: trying to get the problem. Taking care about the phone,
- 27:09Speaker 1: Bring the police and you come with them. Come get it.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I got something for you when you get here and
- 27:14Speaker 1: bring them. You're calling me about some paper and paper clips.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I've been gone from there for six months. Cladam. You

- 27:33Speaker 1: address up. Come on, I'm a professional. I'm trying to
- 27:36Speaker 1: run a business. I gotta walk away from my customers.
- 27:38Speaker 1: And it was about some pens and papers and paper

- 28:41Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Just doing my duty, that's all. Yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: just doing my duty, that's all. You didn't get it
- 28:47Speaker 1: one day you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. What you got? Jay?
- 28:54Speaker 1: This is just stuff that losers say when the team,
- 28:56Speaker 1: when the team is losing. Just things they say, at
- 28:59Speaker 1: least they championship ring. What's your team got? What to
- 29:04Speaker 1: do with a damn you? You can't say you got one? Hey,
- 29:15Speaker 1: damn just one word? One word? Damn, that's one word. Tommy,
- 29:25Speaker 1: you've got to beat alright, come on, Steve, I know
- 29:34Speaker 1: he doesn't really want to play. I'm an alumni member,
- 29:44Speaker 1: dash right. I'm with them when they win or lose.
- 29:50Speaker 1: You know, damn with all them kids of age, I
- 29:56Speaker 1: got no go t at nine people say when their
- 29:58Speaker 1: team is losing, come on, of you, let's go turning
- 30:02Speaker 1: on the old to bad mitten. Just just turn it
- 30:06Speaker 1: to bad mitten. I didn't get into that on the
- 30:12Speaker 1: reluctant one. I can't believe it's Sunday. I tell you
- 30:20Speaker 1: why they losing stuff people say when the team loves
- 30:24Speaker 1: because they got that white boy quarterback. And this is
- 30:33Speaker 1: what they say, what they say when they lose him.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You don't even know how to play, So I don't
- 30:38Speaker 1: even know why you talking. I get a lot watching
- 30:50Speaker 1: for Just stop watching. Turning to the hockey game. Let's
- 30:56Speaker 1: just watch that. Uh, anybody told the Browns we supposed
- 31:01Speaker 1: to be playing Wait what anybody told the Browns were
- 31:07Speaker 1: supposed to be playing? Time? He can't just keep letting
- 31:13Speaker 1: him run. He get real man tack flag football. It
- 31:20Speaker 1: don't matter to me. I ain't got no money on
- 31:22Speaker 1: the game. No damn rationalize that thing people say when
- 31:29Speaker 1: the team is losing you, I'm about to burn this
- 31:31Speaker 1: jerse me do. I'm your damn jersey. Keep playing last
- 31:37Speaker 1: week for me. I don't know why that's gonna sell
- 31:40Speaker 1: the damn team. Come on, Steve, I'm really from phil
- 31:50Speaker 1: it down, not even from a whole another Ye, keep
- 31:59Speaker 1: on running your out. You're about to piss me off.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I'll tell you what he only why they're winning. They
- 32:09Speaker 1: got a lot of Pro Bowl players, got a lot
- 32:12Speaker 1: of people in Pro Bowl on the team. That's why
- 32:13Speaker 1: we ain't got for two here here, this one. Somebody
- 32:17Speaker 1: really got upset. I'm gonna tell you right now, you're
- 32:19Speaker 1: gonna mess around and let them cowboys help you get
- 32:21Speaker 1: your ass right now. They say that for real, really
- 32:27Speaker 1: say that. Some people say when their team is mister
- 32:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, all right, I'm gonna say this and get
- 32:38Speaker 1: on out this when you really don't have a logical
- 32:42Speaker 1: explanation as to why your team keep losing Sunday after Sunday,
- 32:47Speaker 1: you're ready. Count the white people on the team, Steve, No, exactly,
- 33:00Speaker 1: the whole rule white people. I got one. I got one.
- 33:06Speaker 1: That's its seven white people team. You can't win with
- 33:13Speaker 1: seven white people. But the whole talking you're so confused
- 33:21Speaker 1: at that point. Oh so racist the white people team. Yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 1: that's when you your team, you when all else fails racial.
- 33:35Speaker 1: You know, I haven't listen, Tea. They don't play good
- 33:37Speaker 1: on the road. That's what it is. Yeah, all right,
- 33:43Speaker 1: stuff people say when their team is losing, count the
- 33:47Speaker 1: white people on I have to play with a lot
- 33:52Speaker 1: of white people. I know what that means. Yeah, oh
- 33:56Speaker 1: god man, that is so true. About a minute. Yeah, dog,
- 34:01Speaker 1: that's when you really done with your team. You giving up,
- 34:05Speaker 1: give it when you try to throw that out. Yeah,
- 34:10Speaker 1: they're always losing it with them Jerseys. Man. Stuff people
- 34:19Speaker 1: say when their team is losing. I knew it. I
- 34:22Speaker 1: knew it. I knew it when I woke up. That's
- 34:25Speaker 1: why I ain't got no money. All right, guys. This
- 34:29Speaker 1: is stuff people say when their team is losing. You guys,
- 34:34Speaker 1: you know that thing. I'm gonna get it, go getting
- 34:35Speaker 1: another piece of pack. It's not always always right here, y'all.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Ain't want all y'all game right, Yeah, I'm gonna ahead
- 34:51Speaker 1: and live there. Get it for work in the money
- 34:55Speaker 1: they I think they have. I ain't even watching what happened.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I come on closing ute time, you know lebron nim
- 35:11Speaker 1: on the levin game winners turn t see if Colombo
- 35:24Speaker 1: all right? More craziness coming up at twenty after the hour.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to see what's something you
- 35:33Speaker 1: feel like you constantly constantly have to explain to people
- 35:38Speaker 1: something that I constantly constantly have to explain to people.
- 35:42Speaker 1: You want, you want truthful answer. Yes, we don't want
- 35:45Speaker 1: you to lie. A thing that I'm trying to get
- 35:48Speaker 1: past is my lifestyle. Oh to explain explaining that. I
- 35:55Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times, why y'all do that?
- 35:58Speaker 1: You know you could have gayed this to this. It's
- 36:00Speaker 1: people over here that ain't got nothing in y'all spending
- 36:02Speaker 1: this money on that. I spend a lot of time
- 36:05Speaker 1: dealing with that. But you give, yeah, found it doesn't matter,
- 36:09Speaker 1: it doesn't make you can't give enough to people, That's true.
- 36:12Speaker 1: You can give until you ain't got no more and
- 36:15Speaker 1: then they just move on to another your lass. But
- 36:18Speaker 1: I get yeah, I get tired of explaining myself. I'm through.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I'm through doing that. I'm through doing it. And you
- 36:25Speaker 1: give to us, you people that are very generous. You're
- 36:28Speaker 1: very generous, yes, and thank you. But like Bishop Alma
- 36:31Speaker 1: told me, for those who love you, no explanation necessary.
- 36:37Speaker 1: For those who hate you, no explanation acceptable. And when
- 36:40Speaker 1: we ask you, Steve, I mean we ask you a
- 36:42Speaker 1: lot of stuff too, but we work together and we
- 36:45Speaker 1: just want to know exposures everything, you know, the blessings
- 36:49Speaker 1: come down. Let's slow down, Come on, Carl, you got
- 36:53Speaker 1: a question. I do. I do? Okay, So listen to
- 36:55Speaker 1: this seat. You wake up and you see you have
- 36:59Speaker 1: texts from multiple family member text messages for multiple family
- 37:04Speaker 1: and friends. Now, half of the messages say go outside.
- 37:10Speaker 1: The other half of the messages say stay inside. What
- 37:15Speaker 1: do you do? Half of the messages say stay inside
- 37:19Speaker 1: and the other half say go outside. From family, stay inside? Yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 1: and then from family and friends. You got a whole
- 37:26Speaker 1: bunch of text messages. I'm gonna stay inside. I can
- 37:30Speaker 1: control most of what's happening in mind. Go outside, up
- 37:35Speaker 1: yourself to what's in here. Ain't nobody in here. You
- 37:40Speaker 1: can't get in here. I got alarms, I got security.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay in here, all right. I ain't gonna
- 37:45Speaker 1: go out nowhere. That's a good one. Yeah, we're playing
- 37:50Speaker 1: as Steve. Come on, junior, all right, uncle, what is
- 37:53Speaker 1: the dumbest and I mean the dumbest rule you hadn't tune?
- 37:58Speaker 1: Say it again? Yeah you did, mister, change of attitude?
- 38:05Speaker 1: Whatnot killed? What's the dumbest rule you had in school?
- 38:09Speaker 1: That's the one elementary? Okay? Two people can't slide down
- 38:14Speaker 1: the slide board. That's say, who are you trying to?
- 38:20Speaker 1: We didn't got a thirty minutes, you see, trying to
- 38:24Speaker 1: get as many in. If you let two three of
- 38:26Speaker 1: the slide at one time, we can probably get a
- 38:28Speaker 1: couple of slides in as one person at a time
- 38:36Speaker 1: and till they get to the bottom and clear the Averroro.
- 38:42Speaker 1: You're gonna clear the area when you get the bottom
- 38:44Speaker 1: of these shoes on the back of your head. You're
- 38:49Speaker 1: listening to show, all right? Come on? Steve introduced Jay
- 38:54Speaker 1: Anthony Brown so he can murder another hit. Yeah, you know,
- 38:59Speaker 1: I used to gladly introduce him, but I've started losing friendships.

- 44:35Speaker 1: a lady there. Yeah, it was a tilet was backed
- 44:39Speaker 1: up and was overflowing, and yeah yeah, yeah, I can recall.
- 44:43Speaker 1: And then something's wrong with the sinking now too, and
- 44:46Speaker 1: that that had a leak in the back of it. Yeah,
- 44:48Speaker 1: I had a leak in the back and U and
- 44:50Speaker 1: I've done that. I fixed that there for you. And uh.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I took that toilet that I had around the bottom
- 44:56Speaker 1: of your base, the toilet base there. I had to
- 44:58Speaker 1: take that up and reach tape it because that tape
- 45:01Speaker 1: head came came loose. It was kind of old. And I,
- 45:03Speaker 1: you know, I went through that and done all that
- 45:05Speaker 1: and and saved it up and sealed it up and
- 45:08Speaker 1: and I rebased that seal back there on your in
- 45:10Speaker 1: the toilet and and your sink had a little leak
- 45:13Speaker 1: back there in the back. I fixed that because you know,
- 45:15Speaker 1: that was really easy there. So well, see that's something
- 45:20Speaker 1: that went wrong with the tilet. Did you did you
- 45:23Speaker 1: put another pipe or something? Did you rerite a pipe
- 45:27Speaker 1: or anything? No, no, like I said. And all I did,
- 45:30Speaker 1: I took the base of it off there and I
- 45:32Speaker 1: taped it up where that that old tape there, and
- 45:35Speaker 1: then I put me some cement which was was with
- 45:39Speaker 1: uh with my pipe there, and I and I sealed
- 45:41Speaker 1: it all up and I checked it out that lady
- 45:44Speaker 1: drive and see if it leaked, and it didn't leak.
- 45:46Speaker 1: And I put your base back on and you know,
- 45:48Speaker 1: and then then then you had a little leak there
- 45:51Speaker 1: in your sink and that was on the top of
- 45:54Speaker 1: the your nozzle there, and I fixed that. I'm gonna
- 45:58Speaker 1: tell you because I I'm gonna be honest with you
- 46:01Speaker 1: and to tell you I'm not happy with what I got.
- 46:03Speaker 1: You're not happy with it? No, Now, let me tell
- 46:06Speaker 1: you what's happening now. Say somebody in the bathroom and
- 46:10Speaker 1: they flushed that tarlet right right when they flushed that tarlet,
- 46:14Speaker 1: come out to sink in the kitchen. Oh, Tim, say
- 46:21Speaker 1: that what you did again? I said, when they flushed
- 46:24Speaker 1: the tarlet in the bathroom, right, come out to shank
- 46:28Speaker 1: in the kitchen. They come out in the kitchen like that.
- 46:30Speaker 1: I don't know what how you ropped something like you
- 46:32Speaker 1: didn't you didn't miss routed or something. No, I didn't.
- 46:35Speaker 1: I didn't route anything. All I did was fixed up.
- 46:38Speaker 1: I put the tape on there so I fixed the
- 46:40Speaker 1: leak that was you know, you at the base of
- 46:44Speaker 1: your tilet I didn't reroute anything. I don't. I don't.
- 46:47Speaker 1: I don't understand. How can you you reroute a fight?
- 46:50Speaker 1: I don't. That's not to throw into your kitchen and shoot,
- 46:55Speaker 1: will shoot crap out of your kitchen like that. I
- 46:58Speaker 1: don't know what what what you did when you was
- 47:00Speaker 1: up Onundad and how you rerouted something. But that's what happened.
- 47:03Speaker 1: And it's got. It's got. It's going from the from
- 47:06Speaker 1: that bathroom when you flush that toilet, it come out
- 47:09Speaker 1: in my sink in my kitchen. Now what's bad about it?
- 47:12Speaker 1: This morning, I'm in there cooking and what's your name again?
- 47:17Speaker 1: My name is? They called me okay? And is coming
- 47:22Speaker 1: out of your plumb in your in my in my
- 47:25Speaker 1: kitchen now this morning I set out some red beans
- 47:27Speaker 1: and rice to cook and I put my beans on
- 47:30Speaker 1: not not. I've been cooking. I've been cooking. Listen at me.
- 47:33Speaker 1: I've been cooking all though I'm trying to be professional
- 47:36Speaker 1: about this. Because you know, I guarantee of work. I've
- 47:38Speaker 1: been doing this over twenty years. And then one thing
- 47:40Speaker 1: I do, I guarantee of work. And I'm real proud
- 47:43Speaker 1: about the things that you know I do. But what
- 47:46Speaker 1: what did you have anybody else over there working on
- 47:49Speaker 1: your pipes? Ain't nobody you in your kitchen? Was your bathroom?
- 47:53Speaker 1: You is the all the bathrooms. Don't have anything to
- 47:56Speaker 1: do with your kitchen. That's for a pipe heavy anything
- 48:00Speaker 1: to do with one the other. Didn't explain that coming
- 48:03Speaker 1: through my sink in my kitchen. I can't explain it
- 48:06Speaker 1: coming from you your sink. I can only explain it
- 48:09Speaker 1: that's getting the toilet in your sink. I have no idea.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna listen because that thing got me wrapped up
- 48:16Speaker 1: listening now what it is? It? Well, you got me
- 48:18Speaker 1: kind of wrapped up here because you know, like I said,
- 48:20Speaker 1: I do this hill and I've been notable for twenty years.
- 48:23Speaker 1: And that's the first time I ever heard anything like
- 48:25Speaker 1: that being't happen it. I ain't ever seen it. Well,
- 48:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you it's just disgusting to be cooked
- 48:30Speaker 1: till cook red beans all day. And now I find
- 48:33Speaker 1: out that it's sitting in some dirty water like that.
- 48:36Speaker 1: You didn't smell the water when you was in the
- 48:38Speaker 1: in your seat. I'm didn't had a lout or smell.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I didn't smell nothing. Now it's more earlier this morning.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I washed my hand now and I didn't I washed
- 48:48Speaker 1: my hair in there. That's just what it smelled like
- 48:52Speaker 1: a baggy. I'm just, I just, I just refused to
- 48:55Speaker 1: believe that the work I did on your toilet and
- 48:58Speaker 1: there I was taking some stuff up seamen and stuff
- 49:00Speaker 1: up and on your seat had anything to do with
- 49:04Speaker 1: scrap me and shout out to damn kitchen scene. Well,
- 49:07Speaker 1: I tell you what what I need to do is
- 49:09Speaker 1: for you to get your back over here and fix it,
- 49:12Speaker 1: because this here ain't a good job, and I don't
- 49:14Speaker 1: recommend nobody using you. Well, first of all, why I'm
- 49:18Speaker 1: trying to be professional about it, and you cussoon me
- 49:21Speaker 1: and that ain't gonna get nothing done. Once come out
- 49:24Speaker 1: my pike, it was no longer professional. Not you had
- 49:28Speaker 1: somebody else over there doing something in your scene. I
- 49:31Speaker 1: ain't had nobody. Do you have a guys just falling
- 49:34Speaker 1: over Look, it ain't hunding the whalens and crap coming
- 49:39Speaker 1: out of my God. You get your back over and
- 49:42Speaker 1: you fix what you're sposed to fix and thin it right,
- 49:44Speaker 1: then I'm not paying another damn dyme for it. Hey,
- 49:50Speaker 1: I'm trying to be professional about it. I'm listening to
- 49:52Speaker 1: what you gotta say a long time ago when I
- 49:55Speaker 1: get your team of work, and I'm trying to, you know,
- 49:58Speaker 1: deal with the customers. When I left, I told her
- 50:01Speaker 1: the pression tarlet. She foss the tarlet. She ran the
- 50:04Speaker 1: foster in the bathroom. We ain't no problems like you don't.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Have somebody else over now they're doing whatever, Lord knows
- 50:10Speaker 1: what I don't. I damn sure, I don't know. Do
- 50:12Speaker 1: you know? I ain't none of my fitness, I ain't
- 50:15Speaker 1: some of them red beans and not what bothered me
- 50:17Speaker 1: Now I feel sick to my stomach. I'm feeling that man,
- 50:21Speaker 1: red beans and whatever you know, thew it's feel like
- 50:25Speaker 1: you you you couldn't it. Hell, I'm gonna make your
- 50:28Speaker 1: dick something the red beans. If you don't come, dick
- 50:30Speaker 1: deep pipe, you can go a hell. I'm trying to
- 50:34Speaker 1: be professional. I told you I'm doing my job. I
- 50:36Speaker 1: did it the best I know I could, and what
- 50:39Speaker 1: I got when I left the one nothing leaking one pike.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Don't be with the other like you get over intep pike.
- 50:46Speaker 1: That was you, You, you your wife kiss my because
- 50:50Speaker 1: I know well I did. I'll stand the job over there.
- 50:54Speaker 1: You ain't done nothing. If I got them me in
- 50:57Speaker 1: the right, stick them up, you you and your pipes
- 50:59Speaker 1: and a. I don't give a damn. I know what's
- 51:02Speaker 1: coming up. I ain't done nothing over there in your
- 51:07Speaker 1: kitchen to have you that I'm sit with me. I
- 51:09Speaker 1: got one more thing I want to say to you.
- 51:12Speaker 1: If you're listening, I'm listening to you. This is Nephew

- 52:38Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here it is.
- 52:40Speaker 1: It's a Strawberry letter subject he had me fools. Dear
- 52:44Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I have been dating a guy for a year,
- 52:48Speaker 1: and he treats me really nice. We live in a
- 52:51Speaker 1: neighbor We live in neighboring states, but we're less than
- 52:53Speaker 1: an hour apart, so I wouldn't consider it a long
- 52:56Speaker 1: distance relationship. We see each other a few times a week,
- 53:00Speaker 1: and either I'm at his house or he's at mine
- 53:02Speaker 1: on the weekend. I assumed we were in an exclusive,
- 53:06Speaker 1: omitted relationship until recently the other day he was trying
- 53:11Speaker 1: to show me a picture on his phone. And he
- 53:13Speaker 1: mistakenly pulled up a picture of another woman. He tried
- 53:18Speaker 1: to quickly swipe pass picture. Every man in day did
- 53:27Speaker 1: he quickly swipe pass the picture, but he knew I
- 53:31Speaker 1: had seen it. I didn't make a fuss about the picture.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I asked him to delete it, and he did. But
- 53:37Speaker 1: seeing the woman's picture on his phone made me wonder
- 53:40Speaker 1: about the nature of our relationship, so I asked him
- 53:44Speaker 1: if we were exclusive. His response broke my heart. He
- 53:48Speaker 1: stated that before he met me, he was in a
- 53:51Speaker 1: very serious relationship and had had a bad breakup. He
- 53:55Speaker 1: said he was not ready to be in another relationship
- 53:58Speaker 1: right now. Can you believe that I have met this
- 54:01Speaker 1: man's entire family and we all get along great. He
- 54:05Speaker 1: had me fooled. I will admit that I'm not ready
- 54:08Speaker 1: to be married right now, but I still want to
- 54:10Speaker 1: date with a purpose and not just be wasting time
- 54:13Speaker 1: on this man. So is the committed relationship title just
- 54:17Speaker 1: to play on words? I don't want to stop seeing
- 54:20Speaker 1: this man. But I did hear him loud and clear
- 54:22Speaker 1: when he said he's not ready? What should I do? Well?
- 54:25Speaker 1: What should you do? What do you want? I mean, really,
- 54:28Speaker 1: what do you want? In this relationship or out of
- 54:30Speaker 1: this relationship. You said you don't want to get married
- 54:33Speaker 1: right now. You said you do want to date with
- 54:35Speaker 1: a purpose. So if that's what you want, you got
- 54:38Speaker 1: to let him know that. But he's already told you,
- 54:40Speaker 1: and you said you heard him loudly and clearly that
- 54:43Speaker 1: he's not ready to be in a committed relationship. So
- 54:46Speaker 1: you have to make the decision. This is entirely up
- 54:49Speaker 1: to you. You've been dating this man for a whole year.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Now again, what do you want If you don't want
- 54:55Speaker 1: it to continue like this, you have choices. You can
- 54:58Speaker 1: either get out of the relation relationship, or you can
- 55:01Speaker 1: just change some things in the way you deal with him.
- 55:04Speaker 1: If you're thinking it's a committed relationship and it's not,
- 55:07Speaker 1: maybe you should start seeing other people, or you know,
- 55:10Speaker 1: or something like that. Maybe you should really do what
- 55:13Speaker 1: you want to do, but first you need to find
- 55:15Speaker 1: out what that is. You say you don't want to
- 55:17Speaker 1: be married, but you do want to date with a purpose.
- 55:19Speaker 1: He's not ready to do either of those things, So
- 55:21Speaker 1: maybe he's just not the guy for you at this time. Steve,
- 55:27Speaker 1: I don't know. I kind of see this a little
- 55:30Speaker 1: bit differently here I have a different take because from
- 55:33Speaker 1: the male perspective, I can really kind of understand what
- 55:37Speaker 1: this dude is saying. Let's go over the letter a
- 55:42Speaker 1: little bit here. I've been dating this man for about
- 55:46Speaker 1: a year. He's really nice. We live in neighbors states,
- 55:50Speaker 1: so you don't consider long this relationship. You at this
- 55:52Speaker 1: house several times a weekend. He's at your house several
- 55:54Speaker 1: times a weekend. You in mind, he's at mine on
- 55:57Speaker 1: the weekend. Here we go. I assumed we were in
- 56:01Speaker 1: an exclusive, committed relationship until recently the other day. Now,
- 56:07Speaker 1: let's go over this asson. What did they tell you
- 56:10Speaker 1: all the time about as soon assuming usually makes an
- 56:14Speaker 1: ass out of you and me. That's what assumed is
- 56:18Speaker 1: Now what has happened is you've assumed. You spent a year.
- 56:22Speaker 1: You could have verbally got this clip. You could have
- 56:24Speaker 1: this conversation a long time ago. You never bought it up.
- 56:28Speaker 1: You assumed and tilled. The other day, he was trying
- 56:32Speaker 1: to show me a pitch on his phone, and he
- 56:35Speaker 1: mistakenly pulled a pitch of another woman. God when he
- 56:41Speaker 1: when this, as soon as his thumb hit that he
- 56:52Speaker 1: felt for him, he blinked. He took a heavy blink.
- 56:56Speaker 1: He was trying to swipe. He swiped, hass it, but
- 57:03Speaker 1: his thumb was shaken. She saw it. Now, after she
- 57:10Speaker 1: saw the picture, and he knew you saw it, you
- 57:13Speaker 1: didn't make a fuss about it, Okay, the true woman.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I asked him to delete it and he did, no problem. Okay,
- 57:19Speaker 1: I'm out. Yeah, let me take that out because if
- 57:22Speaker 1: that picture could have been a year old, you never know.
- 57:26Speaker 1: You just don't know. So he deleted the picture. But
- 57:31Speaker 1: it made me wonder about the nature of our relationship.
- 57:33Speaker 1: So I asked him if we were exclusive. His response
- 57:36Speaker 1: broke my heart. He stated that before he met me,
- 57:40Speaker 1: he was in a very serious relationship and had a
- 57:42Speaker 1: bad break up. Now, let me ask you something you
- 57:45Speaker 1: didn't You didn't know that a year. You didn't know
- 57:52Speaker 1: that he was in a serious relationship and he had
- 57:55Speaker 1: a bad breakup a year and this response startled you.
- 58:02Speaker 1: A year of assuming you were exclusive, you didn't bring
- 58:07Speaker 1: that up. Now he tells you for the first time,
- 58:10Speaker 1: he was in a serious relationship, had a bad break
- 58:13Speaker 1: up a year before. You hadn't met his family. I
- 58:15Speaker 1: got all that, YadA, YadA, YadA. That's good, but damn,
- 58:20Speaker 1: this really kinda on you too. Now he said he
- 58:24Speaker 1: was not ready to be in another relationship right now, serious,
- 58:29Speaker 1: full blown, committed relationship. Then you try to fix it,
- 58:33Speaker 1: then you go, can you believe that? Yeah, y'all believe.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Y'all believe. The problem is why are you having a
- 58:39Speaker 1: hard time believe it? But if you had heard this
- 58:42Speaker 1: information a year ago, nine months ago, maybe you would
- 58:45Speaker 1: have made some other decisions. I met this man's in
- 58:49Speaker 1: tied family. We get along grade. He had me fool
- 58:53Speaker 1: He didn't fool you. This man ain't fools you at all.
- 58:58Speaker 1: This man ain't lied to you. This man ain't deceived you.
- 59:02Speaker 1: He didn't fool you. You are soon. Then after a year,
- 59:08Speaker 1: you asked him what you exclusive. He said he was
- 59:11Speaker 1: in a bad relationship a year man, lady, he didn't
- 59:14Speaker 1: fool you. Stop saying this about him. You tricked yourself.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Tricked yourself. All right, tricky comm alright. We're gonna have
- 59:29Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 59:32Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening morning show. All right, Steve,
- 59:38Speaker 1: come on, let's get to part two of your response
- 59:40Speaker 1: to today's Strawberry Letters subject he had me fooled? Well,
- 59:45Speaker 1: he didn't have you fool, You've been dating this man
- 59:48Speaker 1: for year. Treat you really nice. You live in neighboring states,
- 59:53Speaker 1: no more than an hour part, so it's really not
- 59:55Speaker 1: long this relationship. You that his house are here at
- 59:58Speaker 1: yours on the weekend? All do the week I assumed
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: we were an exclusive committee relationship. I told you about
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: a suer. You should not have asused him. He's trying
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: to show you a picture on his phone, and he
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: mistakenly pulled up a picture of another woman. God. God,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I passed out for a minute. Really really, yeah, I'm
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: trying to drop off him. You should have dropped that
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: phone down a suoner. He should, all right, So he
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: tried to quickly swipe past the picture, but he knew
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I had seen it. I ain't making fuss about the pitch.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I asked him to delete it, and he did. But
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: seeing the woman's pitching his phone, it kind of made
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: you wonder. So I asked him, were we exclusive after
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a year? A year? His response broke a heart. He
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: stated that before he met me, he was in a
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: very sinious relationship and had a bad break up. How
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: y'all just talking about this? After him, he said he's
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: not ready for another relationship right now. How y'all just
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: talking about this after a year. Then you ask me,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: can you believe that? Yeah, if you ain't never talked
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: about it, don't assume nothing about a minute. You have
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: every right to want to know where your life is going. Ladies,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: and I have told you this over and over and over.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: You have the right to ask a man what is
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: going on here? He will tell you. Now he told you,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: and yes, I can't believe that, but you can't believe
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: it because you assume something else. So now I have
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: met this man's entire family. We all get along great.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: That means he cares about you. He'd took you to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: meet this family. He had me fool No, he didn't.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: You fooled yourself because all you you would have had
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: this conversation that you had just now. You could have
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: had this conversation eleven months ago, ten months ago. You
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: could have easily had that. Now he here go the part.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I will admit that I'm not ready to be married
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: right now. Okay, cool, So what you're tripping form? He
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: ain't ready, You ain't ready, But y'all having a good
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: time going and continue the relationship. He's not ready and
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you're not ready. So now that you're doing through that
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: bone to the dog. But she wants to date with purpose.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Don't forget that. I'm gonna get to that. But I
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: still want to date with the purpose and not just
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: be wasting time on this man. Y'all are dating with
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: a purpose. You all have found each other. Neither one
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: of you are ready to be in a You don't
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: want to be married. He ain't ready to be in
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: an no serious relationship. But y'all in something. Ain't you
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: getting something out of it? And he getting something out
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: of it? Y'all in something. What y'all need to do
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: is sit down and define what it is you're in
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: because you're in it now, you've been in it for
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: a year. You in something. Yeah, it's just y'all ain't
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: got no time. You ain't his fiance. You're too old
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: to be a girlfriend, but right now you're his girlfriend.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: You his girl, and y'all friends, and you'd have met
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: his family. Too old be somebody damn girlfriend. So you
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: want to date with the purpose. He dating with a purpose.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: He getting what he wants. Yes, yes, you're dating with
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: a purpose. You're getting what you want. It's just assumed.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: You assumed you wan't had more, but you just said
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: you ain't even ready for it. Yeah, you said it,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: but I still want to date with the person, not
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: just be worth tip. So it's the committed in quotation.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: The committed relationship title just a play on words. You
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: never had this conversation with the man until now committed relationship.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: He didn't say he didn't want to be in a
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: committed relationship. He said he didn't want to be in
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: a serious relationship. That's a difference. You could be committed
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to somebody and not be serious. Hello, what preach on it?
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna just tell you you can be in a
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: committed relationship and not be sious. I don't want to
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: stop seeing this man, but I do. Hear him loud
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: and clear when he said he's not ready, but you
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: said you wasn't ready. That's somebody lying, somebody lying in
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: this letter. He's not ready, You're not ready. Why don't
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: y'all make it work? Define your relationship, find out what
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: it is, and see if it will ever lead to anything.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: What you could possibly do? But then guess what, Since
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you heard him loud and clear, he may not be
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: ready for a serious relationship for a long time. Hello,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: and let me explay something else too. Deleting the picture
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: don't mean she gonna what come on? Don't I don't,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: don't don't tell boomshot. Somebody listened to me, just caused
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: the picture. God delete it. Don't mean she gonne sometime
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: in the mind. Yeah, memory lingle sometime. Yeah, you can't
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: shake it? Yeah, ain't shake it. I don't, I don't.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I don't want to quiet. Yeah, you gotta have a stick.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I just told you I don't want to quiet sing
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: in any way. You're gonna get your black ass, put
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: out your check. I just wanted to talk. Don't want
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: for just a second. I go back to what I say,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Come on here, please let sometime even without the picture. Yeah,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: dad's a movie playing in your mind sometime. Yeah, I
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: trying to start nothing, get some clarity. Yeah on what
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: we hail? I spent the whole damn break telling the
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: quiet and need them and now we out of time. Yeah, Steve,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you are so right. We gotta get out of here.

- 1:06:35Speaker 1: thoughts at my girls. Shirley on Today's Strawberry Letter and
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: don't forget to make sure you join me two day

- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Live after show on Facebook Live. Okay, thank you for that.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: You're listening to show. We're all gathering around the Thanksgiving
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: table dinner conversations. It can be a little tent, you know,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: so we just want you to us to prepare with
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: some phrases that you should avoid at holiday dinners so
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: we can just you know, all have a good time
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: with our family and friends. Okay, Like for instance, yeah, okay,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: for instance, Steve Um, when you start a sentence with
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: you should have you should have? You know, the words should,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: you know, can make a person feel judged or disappointed.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: You see where I'm going with that, Like you should
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: have left somebody else fit? Yeah, yeah, that's hurtful. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: you should have. You should have left the marshmallows acting yam,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: that's like that. I'm with you. I'm with you on
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: that feelings are not hurt. Or how about this, I
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: know it's pot luck, but you should have just came.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Ain't no luck in your Yeah, stuff like that, Steve,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: you got it? Or you know, avoid saying that, Yeah,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: avoid saying this, you know, because this is definitely this
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: could start one right here. Um, can you believe what
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: your president just did? You can't start Yeah, yeah, it
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: can lead to an argument and a fight. You know, politics,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: every family, my family all good with that. That's gonna
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: get the party popping right there. Oh okay, all right,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: so you're not gonna avoid saying that. Oh no, no, no,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you've talked politics at my house. Everybody at my house
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: in the same political mindset you don't have, you know,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: because you are Republican at the table, you need to
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: keep it to you. You won't be Okay, let's get
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: back to the uh huh, let's get back to the
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: food for a minute. How about this one. You know,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: the best turkey I ever had was not it? Say
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: it again, The best turkey I ever had was was
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: my mama. You can't say that. Yeah, that'll set it off, Steve.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: If you say something, you don't have to always tell
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the truth though, No, no, no, no, see Shelly wants again. Well,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: y'all need to make up y'all. Man, you all want
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: us to be trumb or you won't ease last did
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: we good? We're lying on Thanksgiving? Tell the truth. It's
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: a good time to ask that question, any bo. Yeah,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: you know, like, uh, if you start a sentence with
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: when are you going to learn how to cook? Don't
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: do that. When you're gonna finally let him go? Okay,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: that's the one, because you don't want to make anyone
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: feel defensive or put anyone on the stad bot or
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: anything like that. When is you gonna stop using drugs? Wow? Yeah,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I'm just telling that's what's gonna come out. I don't
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: know why we still be acting like it ain't I
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: don't know what's wrong with you. I want to go
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: to your house, but just come out there fifteen minutes.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: You ain't gonna be able to take it. You're lying
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: it fifteen If it starts off with that, yeah, I

- 1:10:43Speaker 1: where you going? Where are you going? Yeah? Bathroom ain't
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: that way? Ain't no bathroom that way? And you know,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: trying not to open up a conversation or start a
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: sentence with when are you going to don't do that one,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: or remember the time you peel my uncle Everett Thanksgiving

- 1:11:27Speaker 1: a minute, Wait a minute, hold up, did you hear about?
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Don't start it with that one, because that could mean, yeah,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: you're gossiping about you know somebody. What what did you
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: hear about your husband? Oh, that's gonna get it started
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: right there in the back room with Cora Cora. Not
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Cora Cora. Yeah, those are just conversation starters. You don't
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: do that. Yeah, Oh, that's gonna happen Thanksgiving, thirsty, trust
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: its gonna happen. Well, I'll admit that none of that
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: happens at my house because I have no one at
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: my house on Thanksgiving. As big as you create, nobody
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: created no drama. Not at my house. Oh oh okay,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I thought you were saying you had no one at
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: your house. I was like, as big as your family is, Steve, Oh,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: the house gonna be packed. Yeah. I don't do drama. Yeah,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: not at the house. Everybody know. Don't ask me to play.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I don't do that. You know, the game night I
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: might come in there for a couple of minutes. But
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: that's it, y'all. Know what I'm doing. I'm gonna eat
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: and I'm sitting in front of this TV. I'm staring
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: at it. Sometimes you're gonna come in there and the
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: TV gonna be staying at me. Just walk back out,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: don't come in here. Just in the heat. I want it.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: This won't keep beep five places on. Don't cut it off.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: So you don't mind them being in your house. A
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: lot of people just don't bother you. Let you have
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: your space. Yeah. Both. Margie's really good at that too,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: because she tells them to Steve that Steve, all don't
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: bring your friends and your friends won't pictures. Oh get yeah,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: that ain't happening. Meanwhile, at our house, all they want
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: to talk about is you. Yes, Steve, come on. Yeah.

- 1:13:19Speaker 1: something funny. Always tell him give them. Can you just
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: give us to Steve for me? Oh? Just a bestseller

- 1:23:17Speaker 1: when you know you come. You make a right turn
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and it's a no exit. It's you right in the coach.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: This is when you know you anytime you got to
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: put your car in reverse and look over your shoulder
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: all the way back. When you ride and you see
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: one store and get out, and this white man say,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: you got any happing where you that's scary And so
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: you get out of stop side and you go, what
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: a tree that used to do? Right there? There was
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: a tree right right when you're driving and you stopped
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: and the guy said, serious, like the last time I
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: told you, keep telling you the directions, directions, how you
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: know you I'm done this question? When you tell you
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: gotta lean out your paths in your window and say,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: my man, my man, my man, how you know you
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: lost if you ever say these three words right here?
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Excuse me a little boy. You're listening show see what's
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: something you feel like? You constantly, constantly have to explain
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: to people you want you want truth answer, yes, we
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: don't want you to lie. A thing that I'm trying
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: to get past is my lifestyle to explain explaining that.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times why y'all do that?
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: You know you could have gave it to this. It's
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: people over here that ain't got nothing in y'all spending
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: this money on that. I spend a lot of time
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: dealing with that. But you give. Yeah, it doesn't matter,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. You can't give enough to people that
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: you can give until you ain't got no more, and
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: then they just move on to another. But I get yeah,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I get tired of explaining myself. I'm through. I'm through
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: doing that. I'm through doing it, and you give to us.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: People are very generous, You're very generous, and thank you.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: But like Bishop Alma told me, for those who love you,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: no explanation necessary for those who hate you. No explanation exactly.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: And when we ask you, Steve, I mean we ask
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: you a lot of stuff too, but we work together
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: and we just want to know it. Exposure's everything, you know,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: the blessings come down. Let's slow down. Come on, Carling,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: you got a question? I do? I do? Okay, So
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: listen to this. See you wake up and you see
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: you have texts for multiple family and friends. And now
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: half of the messages say go outside, the other half
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: say stay inside. What do you do? Half of the
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: messages say stay inside and the other half say go outside.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: From family, stay inside. Yeah, and then from family and friends,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: you got a whole bunch of text messages. I'm stay inside.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: I'm controlled most of what's happening in mind. Go outside
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: yourself to what's here? Ainybody in here? You can't get
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: in here. I got alarms, I got secured. I'm gonna
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: stay in here, all right. I ain't gonna go out nowhere.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: That's that's a good one. Yeah, come on, we're playing
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: as Steve. Come on, junior A. What is the dumbest
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: I mean, the dumbest rule? You had it this tune again?
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Yeah you did, mister, change of attitude killed. What's the
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: dumbest rule you had in school? That's the one elementary Okay,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: two people can't slide down the slide board. That's say,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: who are you trying to We didn't got but thirty minutes.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: You see that trying to get any in? If you
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: let two three of us slide at one time, we
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: can probably get a couple of slides in as one
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: person at a time and wait till they get to
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: the bottom and clear the air. What bro, You're gonna
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: clear the area when you get the bottom of these
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: shoes on the back of your head. That was the
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: dumbest damn d have a one sliding board? All right, sit,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: here's one. What are you slowly starting to realize as
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: you get older? He told us about your attitude change?
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: So what else are you slowly starting to realize as
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: you become older and older? Men? Well, I think it
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: has more to do with sex. Okay, Well we're all ears. Yeah,
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: it ain't as critical as it used to be. Ok Like,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: if I come in and it's late now I'm sleepy.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I see you tomorrow. You're listening to show here we
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: are last break of the day. Guys, it's been a
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: pretty fun, crazy crazy Ignorant day on this Crazy Ignorant Show.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: A lot of fun today, but Steve, it's time to
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: get a little serious. I just want to encourage people
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: to do something really, really simple today. And I think
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: this is something that most people would agree to want.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: It's really this simple. Everybody should want more for your life.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: I'm talking about your life right there, the one that
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: you have. You should want more for your life. You
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: should never allow yourself to become complacent. Now, I want
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: you to understand something. Some people get complacency confuse with
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: they don't want to seem ungrateful. Once again, some people
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: get complacency confused with not wanting to appear ungrateful. Well,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: I don't want to keep asking God for nothing because
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: I don't want him to think I ain't grateful for
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: what I what I have, well thanking for it. Then
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: that's it's really simple. Simply thank God for what you have.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: That's the gratitude. But then it's still okay to want
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: more for your life. Here's the good news. God actually
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: wants you to have more for your life. God is
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: really looking for people to show off. He really is.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: I happen to raise my hand all the time in
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: volunteer I do. I just say God, pick me, come on,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: do me, use me, show me. Now that doesn't mean
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: I'm perfect. I'm far from it. But I do want
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: God's blessings to be able to flow through me. So
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: I keep an open channel in my life for that
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: stuff to flow through. First of all, I want more.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: That's the beginning of getting it. Then I have the
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: good sense to ask Him for more. You have not
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: because you ask not. Well, I happen to be a
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: big asker of stuff. So now I want more. I
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: ask for more. Now here's the trick to asking for
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: more and wanting more. You have got to be willing
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: to do more. Oh, now you gotta do more. Now,
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: that's the one thing that stops so many people from
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: having and wanting more for their life. If God will
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: give you blessings and God will increase your measure in life,
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: if God comes to give you life and give you
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: life more abundantly, if He's promised to do that for you,
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: And what you have to do in return is you
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: have to be willing to do more. See you, you
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: can't get more without doing more. Convenience is built through inconvenience.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: You can stop wanting what you see everybody else with
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: and you ain't willing to do what everybody else did
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: to get it quick look at it, Oprah's pile over there.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: If you ain't willing to do what Oprah did, which Tom,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: an average person is not because the average person wants
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: to be comfortable, and you can't be successful and stay comfortable.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I was interviewing the wrestler on my show yesterday day,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: but teach a great story. Man. This cat was really
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: out of it, really really fascinating story he had, and
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: we were talking and he was talking about living outside
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: your comfort zone. And I told him one of the
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: things that I've had to learn how to do in
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: order to become successful is I've had to become comfortable
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: with being uncomfortable. He said, wow, Wow, that's a great
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: way to put us. Do I have learned how to
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: be comfortable while I'm uncomfortable, Because in order to get successful,
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: you have to be uncomfortable. You have to do things
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: that you don't feel like doing all the time. You
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: have to show up when you don't want to show up.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: You have to be there when you feel like being
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: somewhere else. You have to say yes a lot of
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: times when you really want to just say no. That's
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: where you're at, man, that's how you become successful. But
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: you can't keep asking God for more and you ain't
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: willing to do more. It doesn't make any sense. It
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: cannot happen that way for us. So come on, I
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: want you to want more for your life. But there's
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: a scripture that bags that up to It said to
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: whom much is given, much is required. Now, if you
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: don't want the requirements, then he gonna have to pull
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: up on the given. But if you want the given,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: know that here come to requirements. So one more time,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: if you don't want the requirements, he gonna have to
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: pull up on the given. Do not be the one
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: who blocks your own blessings. Want more for your life
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: and be willing to do the things to accept and
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: receive more. It's just discipline. It's just some more work.
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: But if you just cut out some of the bs man, man,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: just cut out some of the happy hours, just cut
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: out some of the drinking. You can't smoke one every day,
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: you can't go to all the clubs. So mean you're
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: just gonna run all the women that that's that's that's,
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna do, all of them. I got
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: news for you, man, can't be successful that way. You
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: can't drop it now thirthday, it's good, don't worry about that.
