- 1:48Speaker 1: Want of yall? Comey, come on you uh huh, I
- 2:03Speaker 1: shall will a good morning everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:08Speaker 1: Come on, geve me down wanted only Steve Harvey got
- 2:12Speaker 1: a radio show. Man o man o, man, I just
- 2:18Speaker 1: I have to tell you this. How good is the
- 2:24Speaker 1: god I served? How amazing is he? That's that's all
- 2:30Speaker 1: I you know? And you know what, really, man, when
- 2:32Speaker 1: I try to explain um, how I feel about what
- 2:36Speaker 1: he does for me, really, the words that I come
- 2:39Speaker 1: up with that they just they they are inadequate. Man,
- 2:42Speaker 1: They don't they don't cut it. They really don't. You know.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I could say amazing. At one time I even just
- 2:48Speaker 1: got that. I tried something real ignorant. One time I
- 2:50Speaker 1: just said you know, God is just super casual, fragilistic
- 2:53Speaker 1: as be all adocious. I just tried that, see how
- 2:56Speaker 1: that felt. That's that's how all the change he is
- 2:58Speaker 1: with me. I just try to to see how that felt.
- 3:00Speaker 1: But then I ain't feel right saying that. The fact
- 3:03Speaker 1: that he's amazing and awesome and he's an awesome God.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You hear people say that is bigger than that too. Man.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So you know, as as as hard as I try,
- 3:14Speaker 1: no matter what I do every day, I'm gonna come
- 3:16Speaker 1: up short with trying to explain to you exactly how
- 3:19Speaker 1: he works and how he is for me. So I
- 3:21Speaker 1: just thanking that every day of a chance I get
- 3:24Speaker 1: um here. It is it is your determination and your effort.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Listen to me carefully. It is your determination and your effort.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I think that the average person, and I'm not knocking you,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I just want you to hear me out. I think
- 3:46Speaker 1: what stops the average person from becoming successful is that
- 3:51Speaker 1: we don't realize the effort that it takes. And that's
- 3:55Speaker 1: just truth. I found that to be so true in
- 3:59Speaker 1: my life and my talking to people and meeting people,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and people aren't asking me questions about it, and me
- 4:05Speaker 1: trying to figure out the way myself. I don't think
- 4:09Speaker 1: that you really can comprehend the effort that it takes
- 4:14Speaker 1: to become successful. This is the thing that you have
- 4:18Speaker 1: to wrap your mind around very quickly if you want
- 4:21Speaker 1: to be successful on any level, in any area. The
- 4:25Speaker 1: dream is the beginning. Good Lord, let me tell you something.
- 4:29Speaker 1: The determination and effort is massive. You cannot be overly
- 4:36Speaker 1: concerned with sleep. If you are a person who is
- 4:41Speaker 1: always concerned about sleep, get success out your mind. A
- 4:45Speaker 1: fin to happen, partner is not fin to happen. You
- 4:48Speaker 1: cannot be that concerned about sleep. Now listen to me.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You have to get your rest. But this was my philosophy.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm just sharing you with what how I did it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: My philosophy was I stopped being concerned about sleep. I
- 5:07Speaker 1: got my rest, but I got just enough to get
- 5:12Speaker 1: back to it, and I got back on the ground
- 5:15Speaker 1: to hop in the hustle. I got just enough rest
- 5:20Speaker 1: so I could go and put forth some more effort.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But listen to me, you cannot sleep a third of
- 5:27Speaker 1: your life away and expect to become successful if you're
- 5:31Speaker 1: not already successful. If you are asleep for eight hours,
- 5:35Speaker 1: that is a third of your day. You cannot be
- 5:38Speaker 1: asleep a third of your life and expect to get successful.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Not after you get successful. You know you you learn
- 5:46Speaker 1: as you go to work smarter, not harder. So as
- 5:50Speaker 1: you get successful, you may have eight hours available to you.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But on the way up there, I don't see how
- 5:56Speaker 1: you can do it, I promise you. I don't now,
- 5:58Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe somebody can come forward. I did it.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I did at Yeah, probably lying, but okay, tell your story.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Because everybody I know that's successful that I've sat down
- 6:09Speaker 1: the head real talks with they wasn't concerned with sleeping.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You cannot be concerned with sleeping if you want to
- 6:18Speaker 1: be successful. How how can this happen for you? Listen
- 6:22Speaker 1: to me. The effort that it requires is massive. It's
- 6:26Speaker 1: an all out of assault on your dream. Now you
- 6:28Speaker 1: got to make an assault. Its requires in all out
- 6:32Speaker 1: assault on it. And you can't be sleeping. Fight at
- 6:35Speaker 1: the same time. You can't fight when you sleep. Man.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I wish I could get y'all understand this right here.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Understand that the effort that is required to be successful
- 6:45Speaker 1: will take everything you have, and when you think you've
- 6:49Speaker 1: given your all, it's gonna require some more. The quality
- 6:54Speaker 1: of your chill is amazing. See that's said, okay listening,
- 6:59Speaker 1: What is sitting around having a bill every day? Fault?
- 7:02Speaker 1: What but I'm sitting around smoking weed for every day phone?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Come on, man, for real. But if you took that beer,
- 7:11Speaker 1: drinking weeds, smoking chill time and applied it to progressing
- 7:15Speaker 1: yourself towards your dream. When you do carve out a vacation,
- 7:21Speaker 1: guess where you'll be able to go. Guess what part
- 7:24Speaker 1: of the world you can go. See guess how you
- 7:26Speaker 1: can you now instead of you just driving every year
- 7:29Speaker 1: your family to family union said at the same picnic table,
- 7:33Speaker 1: everybody pull their money in to ten families. Don't never
- 7:36Speaker 1: pool their money in. They down. They're eating like y'all eating.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You got attitude because the day or they side don't
- 7:42Speaker 1: ever chip in, and no they down. They're eating the
- 7:44Speaker 1: extra potatoes that making place. You're not arguing about this
- 7:47Speaker 1: every year for real, man, they ain't got the T
- 7:51Speaker 1: shirt money. You know they got to say a T shirt, don't.
- 7:54Speaker 1: They ain't putting that really, man, so so so so
- 7:57Speaker 1: so you want that to be it? Every year? All
- 8:00Speaker 1: do you want? This year? I'm taking my family to
- 8:04Speaker 1: New Orleans. I'm taking my family see Grand Canyon. I'm
- 8:08Speaker 1: taking my family down to the beach this year. Me
- 8:10Speaker 1: and me and my family gonna go site. See, we're
- 8:13Speaker 1: gonna go ride Coup the River on Chicago. Me and
- 8:15Speaker 1: my family gonna go skiing this year. Me and me
- 8:17Speaker 1: and my family going out to l A. Man, We're
- 8:20Speaker 1: gonna We're gonna go out there for the weekend. You know,
- 8:22Speaker 1: you know it can happen like that. But if you
- 8:24Speaker 1: ain't working, listen to me. Average effort gets average results.
- 8:35Speaker 1: That's that's all it is to it. See, ordinary effort
- 8:42Speaker 1: gets ordinary results. But if you put forth an extra effort. See,
- 8:50Speaker 1: the only difference between extraordinary and ordinary is one word,
- 8:53Speaker 1: that's extra. If you do extra, you can take ordinary
- 8:58Speaker 1: right on over to extraordinary. Do you understand you have
- 9:01Speaker 1: to have a massive assault on your dreams. Quit sitting
- 9:04Speaker 1: up in here, man, trying to chill all the time.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, I wish I could tell you another way,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but it ain't one. I didn't talk to jay Z
- 9:12Speaker 1: about this. I didn't talk Samuel about this. I don't
- 9:14Speaker 1: talked to said about this. I didn't talk I have
- 9:17Speaker 1: talked to the President of the United States. I've had
- 9:21Speaker 1: a conversation with him about his effort. You look at this.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You cannot become successful with effort. You cannot be concerned
- 9:31Speaker 1: about sleep. Here's what I did. Now, you can take
- 9:36Speaker 1: it from me, or you can try it your way.
- 9:38Speaker 1: But when you get through trying it, that's what you're
- 9:40Speaker 1: gonna have to do. I wasn't concerned about how much
- 9:43Speaker 1: sleep I got. I just had to get my rest.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And once I got enough rest to get up and
- 9:50Speaker 1: get the task done, I got up. Somebody sent me
- 9:54Speaker 1: a tweet the other day, a partner of mine. He
- 10:00Speaker 1: someone to see if I can pull it up while
- 10:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. But you just sent me a
- 10:03Speaker 1: little sign, just what not, just a little something to say,
- 10:06Speaker 1: Hey man, I ran across this, I thought about you,
- 10:09Speaker 1: and I sent it to you. It said no alarm
- 10:12Speaker 1: clock needed, My passion wakes me. It's in block print.
- 10:20Speaker 1: He said, no alarm clock needed, My passion wakes me.
- 10:26Speaker 1: That's what you got to be about. You gotta take
- 10:29Speaker 1: that dream. You gotta get passionate about it, and you
- 10:32Speaker 1: gotta get awake, and you got to get up and
- 10:34Speaker 1: get at it, and you gotta put forth a massive
- 10:37Speaker 1: assault on your dream. Your effort has got to be extraordinary.
- 10:40Speaker 1: If you put forth extraordinary, If you put forth extra effort,
- 10:44Speaker 1: you go from ordinary to extraordinary. That's the deal. You
- 10:48Speaker 1: think it's another way, If you got another way, could
- 10:51Speaker 1: you please email it to me, Steve Harvey Docker let
- 10:54Speaker 1: me know so I can slow down. So I don't
- 10:57Speaker 1: know no other way. All right, you're listening Steve Harvey

- 13:13Speaker 1: I started myself sometimes. Yeah, we've learned that from you.
- 13:19Speaker 1: That's true. The range in which we can go is
- 13:22Speaker 1: just it's it's emmits man, it's it's I've gotten in
- 13:27Speaker 1: so trouble with people, cities, I hold down country with
- 13:37Speaker 1: mad at me and that little people. It doesn't matter.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Ain't got man? One time? You can't tell it? Yeah,
- 13:51Speaker 1: coming up something funny At thirty two after the hour,
- 13:55Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, and it's time
- 13:59Speaker 1: for something fun me. Uh, when you know it's time
- 14:02Speaker 1: to go back to church, it's time. You know when
- 14:05Speaker 1: it's time to go back to church set up when
- 14:09Speaker 1: you know it is time to take yo. But the church,
- 14:16Speaker 1: you know, I mean you you get up and you go, whoa,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I need to go get Somebody needs to lay hands
- 14:21Speaker 1: on me right now. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, how did I
- 14:26Speaker 1: get here? When you wake up and you win somebody
- 14:29Speaker 1: and you don't know their name, it is time to

- 15:14Speaker 1: backwards you in the past and in the back part

- 17:54Speaker 1: a wonderful night with a woman. You wake up and
- 17:57Speaker 1: passed by the bathroom. She's standing up in What happened?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Who is that? Help me? You wake up in the morning.
- 18:24Speaker 1: This is how you know it's really you got to
- 18:27Speaker 1: go now you wake up in the morning. Yeah, it's
- 18:32Speaker 1: eight eight open condom wrappers in the bed. You have
- 18:40Speaker 1: no idea you did that, though you did not necessarily.
- 18:56Speaker 1: You know it's time to go back to church. When
- 19:00Speaker 1: you wake up with a glass eye. You're holding the
- 19:10Speaker 1: glass eye out of nowhere, out of nowhere, it's time
- 19:15Speaker 1: to go back to church. You run around looking at ole. Yeah,
- 19:18Speaker 1: where did that get a glass? It's really time to
- 19:23Speaker 1: go back to church. Okay. When you wake up outside

- 20:52Speaker 1: to go back in time to get on back up
- 20:54Speaker 1: in there. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 21:00Speaker 1: now it is time for church complaints with deacon and
- 21:04Speaker 1: the PASTA yeah, meaning most giving, allowable, gracious fall. Yes,
- 21:22Speaker 1: we is momentarily staggered by your love. Yes and austendentatiously,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I said, austar pentatiously done with it. We are about
- 21:45Speaker 1: to deal with my congregation of Waywood individuals who have
- 21:55Speaker 1: not learned too, you know, be grateful dz is church completes. Amen, Amen, Amen,
- 22:07Speaker 1: path to getting started this morning, we are doing a
- 22:12Speaker 1: culture flip flop this summer. All the white members children
- 22:16Speaker 1: would be staying with black families and the black kids
- 22:20Speaker 1: with white families. The big issue is the white kids
- 22:23Speaker 1: are complaining that there's no vacation in the schedule with
- 22:27Speaker 1: the black families. What well, we had that same problem
- 22:37Speaker 1: when we did exchange of student program oh with some foreigners. Um,
- 22:48Speaker 1: we need to just notify the white parents other white
- 22:52Speaker 1: kids that black folks can't just go off and leave
- 22:55Speaker 1: their job for vacations every year. So if you're on
- 23:00Speaker 1: an off year, then your asks don't get to go.
- 23:04Speaker 1: The white kids have problem staying at the black folk
- 23:07Speaker 1: house on the off year. She we go every other year.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I know it, and this is one of the other ones.
- 23:17Speaker 1: The black kids to the beach and they well, the
- 23:21Speaker 1: black kids is Joe and that and it's wonderful. But
- 23:26Speaker 1: you're gonna have to watch him because you've got to
- 23:27Speaker 1: teach hand for mothers. Will she because there are some
- 23:33Speaker 1: things that we most things, uh, black folks don't do.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Start with then s we don't swim, We don't ski
- 23:44Speaker 1: or we don't sky dive, we don't snug a real
- 23:49Speaker 1: good just a host of sport yo, anything that got
- 23:58Speaker 1: an S on it. We don't do well swimming, skiing, snockland,
- 24:02Speaker 1: sky diving. Yeah, you understand, I got go ahead, Pat.
- 24:11Speaker 1: We have a situation here. Now we need you to
- 24:15Speaker 1: have a conversation. Which sister to render Hernandez Hernanda as
- 24:21Speaker 1: you know her. He's married to Miguel here Nan is
- 24:24Speaker 1: the Spanish deacon. At the potluck Saturdays, he brought halapeno
- 24:30Speaker 1: kool aid and all the kids were on fire. You're
- 24:33Speaker 1: gonna have to talk to her. We have told the
- 24:36Speaker 1: Hernandez family once again to ease up on the spices.
- 24:42Speaker 1: They ruined the Eastern egg hunt for the kids the
- 24:45Speaker 1: same way. All the eggs had been injected with hallerpeena
- 24:52Speaker 1: and I got hold of three of myself and next
- 24:54Speaker 1: thing on the old lord, so we need to talk
- 24:58Speaker 1: to the Hernande feminine. Also, stop trying to work with us.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Just serve your dishes. Uh huh. Please stop hiding our
- 25:10Speaker 1: food in burrito. We like our food out on the
- 25:15Speaker 1: plate where we could see it, inspect and examine it,
- 25:18Speaker 1: pick through it in the open. That's right now. Ah
- 25:24Speaker 1: after Deacon one arm Oscar Jenkins is upset that none
- 25:28Speaker 1: of the men will allow him to play on their
- 25:31Speaker 1: team at the church and you're a golf tournament. He
- 25:34Speaker 1: wants you to force them and let him play once again.
- 25:36Speaker 1: That's Deacon one, arm Oscar Jenkins. I'm not going tournament,
- 25:44Speaker 1: oscarol School. We're not gonna lie you because your grip
- 25:50Speaker 1: on the on your one arm is the grip. You
- 25:52Speaker 1: got it in good and then you can throw that
- 25:54Speaker 1: club at six people there anybody gonna be being there
- 25:59Speaker 1: over putting a ball on the te for you every
- 26:01Speaker 1: time you need help, can your bag. I'dn't told you
- 26:08Speaker 1: to get your boy to come out and carry for you,
- 26:10Speaker 1: but he don't want to eat it. So no, brother, Oscar,
- 26:14Speaker 1: we will not allow you to be in the church
- 26:16Speaker 1: golf tournament with the arm and why don't you take
- 26:21Speaker 1: golf lessons? I don't know about teaching one on people
- 26:25Speaker 1: pan well, until we find someone, look like Oscar won't
- 26:30Speaker 1: be playing in the annual church golf tournament. Yeah, I
- 26:34Speaker 1: tell Oscar the start when the bowling team would probably
- 26:37Speaker 1: be better for no, because when you're standing there with
- 26:41Speaker 1: that are with that ball in one hand and just
- 26:43Speaker 1: look dangerous. Just look damn danger hard to hold that ball.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Just look at them pins with that one on the
- 26:54Speaker 1: ball twelve pound. We have a major sentuation action. Past,
- 27:00Speaker 1: I want you to stop this before it gets out
- 27:02Speaker 1: of hand. This past Sunday, Sister Doris Dixon used duck
- 27:07Speaker 1: and pigeon eggs after we ran out of chicken eggs
- 27:10Speaker 1: for breakfast. Sister Faith baptiste Is started talking about it,
- 27:15Speaker 1: whipping her behind as soon as she lay eyes on it.
- 27:18Speaker 1: But she gonna have to stop doing this bad. This
- 27:20Speaker 1: is the second and third time she didn't uh supplemented
- 27:24Speaker 1: chicken eggs for the breakfast and she used duck and
- 27:27Speaker 1: pigeon eggs instead. I knew it had tell a kind
- 27:31Speaker 1: of gaming taste to it. I wouldn't show what it was.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I thought it was some other type of seasoning. But
- 27:39Speaker 1: pigeon eggs is trifling. I had and she tried to
- 27:44Speaker 1: combine it with vegan sausage. I damned the throat up.
- 27:50Speaker 1: So I'll speak with her about using other eggs or
- 27:54Speaker 1: with chicken eggs is nice, economical, they're cheap enough. I
- 27:58Speaker 1: don't know how we keep running out eggs, but pigeon
- 28:01Speaker 1: and duveys ain't gonna work up. I had a queer
- 28:06Speaker 1: eggs sandwich one time, had thirty two eggs on that side.
- 28:11Speaker 1: They sho I should have been him out of time
- 28:16Speaker 1: two queer eggs and teach last but not leaves past
- 28:23Speaker 1: to the annual weed drive or just paying Saturday. The
- 28:26Speaker 1: ladies are asking that you speak with brother Titus Jackson.
- 28:30Speaker 1: He payed just nine of the wigs due to his
- 28:34Speaker 1: alopecia on his head, and they didn't get a chance
- 28:37Speaker 1: to buy any of the weeds. He got. He bought
- 28:39Speaker 1: the great wigs, the red wigs, the blond wigs, and
- 28:42Speaker 1: the black he got out. Well, he bought them because
- 28:45Speaker 1: what's your brother? What's her name? That's tightest. Brother Titus
- 28:50Speaker 1: came to me and he's forming a new gospel group
- 28:54Speaker 1: at the church, all men. Uh, and the name of
- 28:58Speaker 1: the groups is the low On Save Pimps Too, and
- 29:02Speaker 1: all the men women weeds to show how they was
- 29:07Speaker 1: back in the day. So I've allowed him to purchase
- 29:10Speaker 1: the weeds. I'll God Save Pimps Too. It's the initials
- 29:21Speaker 1: is GSP All right, We'll be back with more of
- 29:29Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 29:33Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve This lady sent a
- 29:38Speaker 1: letter from Steve Harvey FM dot com uh stating Stephen Shirley,
- 29:43Speaker 1: my friend said the breakup sex was better than any
- 29:47Speaker 1: of the regular sex they had during their relationship. So
- 29:50Speaker 1: here's the question. Is breakup sex better than any other
- 29:54Speaker 1: type of baup sex? Is Hey, let's do this one
- 29:57Speaker 1: last time? Yeah? Times before you go? Yes, something to
- 30:04Speaker 1: remember them by? H? So is that the best kind
- 30:10Speaker 1: or is it uh? The first time? The new partner sex?
- 30:14Speaker 1: All of them? It is good first something? Or is
- 30:19Speaker 1: it um? Or is it new position or experimental sex?
- 30:23Speaker 1: Is that the best kind of sex? No, you can't
- 30:25Speaker 1: really do no new position. They're gonna want to wait.
- 30:27Speaker 1: You know what you got that from I'm trying to
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna do that bones just flat see why a baby?
- 30:39Speaker 1: You need some locks on your clothes? All right, Steve,
- 30:47Speaker 1: here's one for you. Since you can't wait for this.
- 30:50Speaker 1: How about vacation sex? That's kid, I tell you it's
- 31:00Speaker 1: so interesting. Some of the best sex is vacation six.
- 31:08Speaker 1: After winning money in Vega six to the list that's
- 31:14Speaker 1: not on here? We won? We won. Oh, you're the man,
- 31:20Speaker 1: You're you're the man. Put that on the list. Like,
- 31:28Speaker 1: what about I told a girl one time when I
- 31:31Speaker 1: was young that I wasn't gonna make it. You got
- 31:37Speaker 1: the arm? Dancing can be our last time about dancing.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Maybe there's a help you stay long? Did I'm sixty one?
- 31:48Speaker 1: That happen one nineteen? What if you were young and
- 31:52Speaker 1: virile and healthy and it really she took it the
- 31:57Speaker 1: wrong way? What about just playing old at home sex? Yeah,
- 32:01Speaker 1: it's all right, you know when when everybody going But
- 32:06Speaker 1: I'll tell you what but but they hain't no kids
- 32:08Speaker 1: in the house. Sex that right there, But my mama
- 32:11Speaker 1: got him. Let me tell you something, Let me tell
- 32:14Speaker 1: you something to write about me. Yo, yo, y'all, you
- 32:20Speaker 1: go to work, girl, girl, let the performance begin, lap
- 32:27Speaker 1: lap standing. Oh all right, how about costume or roll place?
- 32:35Speaker 1: I got messed up in one of them stuff get
- 32:38Speaker 1: in a way. Yeah that ain't. I had a Superman
- 32:41Speaker 1: build on. I couldn't get it all. That ain't. I
- 32:43Speaker 1: don't like that. I'm not ever doing that again. I'm
- 32:46Speaker 1: tugging that thing got locked up on me and never
- 32:49Speaker 1: people get them tights off and nothing. I didn't like that. Man,
- 32:52Speaker 1: it took a long time. They that's that's good. Like
- 32:57Speaker 1: got no bottom on them, right cry list. But I'll
- 33:02Speaker 1: tell you what though. That one little string that be
- 33:04Speaker 1: over there, that's that's a irritating a little something over there.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Costumes Yeo, can you say raw? Okay, I'm moving on. Okay,
- 33:18Speaker 1: we have to go a leaf in my mouth make
- 33:23Speaker 1: it look like I come through. So that's kind of
- 33:26Speaker 1: like a costume. But anyway, ladies and gentlemen, our very
- 33:30Speaker 1: own voice of reason, intellect, and most importantly, the facts,
- 33:35Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, mrs and tripe. This is answered with
- 33:40Speaker 1: the news. Okay, Brett Kavanaugh begins his first week on
- 33:43Speaker 1: the Supreme Court tomorrow. He's being sworn in this evening
- 33:46Speaker 1: by the President. Kavanaugh takes a seat vacated by retired
- 33:49Speaker 1: moderate Justice Anthony Kennedy, and the addition of Kavanaugh gives
- 33:52Speaker 1: right wingers a five for the majority on the Court,
- 33:55Speaker 1: which predictably leaves sent A Majority Leader Mitch McConnell happy
- 33:58Speaker 1: and Minority Leader Charle Schumer feeling the opposite. This historically
- 34:02Speaker 1: tall mountain of evidence adds up to one clear message,
- 34:07Speaker 1: Judge Brett Kavanaugh is among the very best our nation
- 34:10Speaker 1: has to offer. From start to finish, President Trump's nomination
- 34:15Speaker 1: of Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court has
- 34:19Speaker 1: been one of the saddest moments in the history of
- 34:22Speaker 1: the Senate. Meanwhile, the President, President Trump remains on the stump.
- 34:26Speaker 1: He's fighting for Republicans to remain in control of the Congress.
- 34:29Speaker 1: You allow the wrong people to get into office, things
- 34:34Speaker 1: could change, and you know he's talking to The President
- 34:36Speaker 1: told a Kansas rally that the delay in confirming Brett
- 34:39Speaker 1: Kavanaugh to the High Court actually was a good thing
- 34:42Speaker 1: because it energized Republican voters, and that sentiment is actually
- 34:45Speaker 1: reflected in recent polls. Okay, voting enthusiasm among the Democrats, though,
- 34:49Speaker 1: has been higher since Trump's election. A five point nine
- 34:53Speaker 1: earthquake struck northern Haiti early Saturday evening, killing at least
- 34:56Speaker 1: eleven people injuring about a hundred eighty others, poppling a
- 35:00Speaker 1: church in auditorio or a police station in one town,
- 35:03Speaker 1: and homes in several cities. Sorry say, the quake was
- 35:06Speaker 1: felt in the capitol Port of Prince, but there was
- 35:08Speaker 1: no damage, and there was subtle shakes felt in the
- 35:10Speaker 1: Dominican Republic. In eastern Cuba, you may remember a seven
- 35:14Speaker 1: point one quake struck near the capitol, killing more than
- 35:17Speaker 1: two hundred thousand Haitians and leaving billions in damage. The
- 35:21Speaker 1: US war in Afghanistan began seventeen years ago this week. However,
- 35:25Speaker 1: Osama bin Laden wasn't found until ten years later. Of course,
- 35:28Speaker 1: you know that was under the Obama administration. He was
- 35:30Speaker 1: found hiding in neighboring Pakistan. More than dred American troops
- 35:35Speaker 1: have been killed thus far in Afghanistan. In his debut
- 35:39Speaker 1: with the Carolina Panthers yesterday's safety, Eric Read took an
- 35:41Speaker 1: eat during the national anthem before yesterday's game. However, none
- 35:45Speaker 1: of his teammates joined in. Back in You know, Eric
- 35:49Speaker 1: Read was one of those who joined his fellow in
- 35:50Speaker 1: San Francisco for nine are Colin Kaepernick in his silent
- 35:54Speaker 1: protest against racism and brutal policing. Finally, today is not
- 35:59Speaker 1: only Columbus Day, but it's also American Touch Tag Day
- 36:05Speaker 1: with my mone I need you Town Town. That's Kevin
- 36:15Speaker 1: Little Okay, thank you, Tank you to touch Okay? Ears up.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Find out if Funky Steve is better than his nephew.
- 36:21Speaker 1: We'll see. We'll be back in twenty mins after the
- 36:23Speaker 1: hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 36:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We're in the middle of
- 36:29Speaker 1: this segment called I'm Becoming My parents and Jay and
- 36:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey are are letting us know that they're saying
- 36:36Speaker 1: things to the same thing. We haven't come up with
- 36:38Speaker 1: nothing new. You got one? You got one. Scratch on
- 36:41Speaker 1: that wall is scratch on your you betta say it?
- 36:45Speaker 1: That's me. Now, put a scratch on that wall and
- 36:49Speaker 1: scratch scratch on that wall. That means you really want
- 36:59Speaker 1: to scratch on your behind that wall? How about I
- 37:05Speaker 1: don't know if it could be done, but I damn
- 37:07Speaker 1: never got beat to what I thought it was gonna
- 37:10Speaker 1: come up. I will beat all all the black Hawks
- 37:15Speaker 1: said that I will be like all the black I
- 37:21Speaker 1: don't know I happen. I don't know if we can
- 37:23Speaker 1: go down that. You're standing in that refrigerator. Don't like
- 37:28Speaker 1: your box? What's the what's the time living on that? No,
- 37:39Speaker 1: you gotta get in and get out. Somebody needs to
- 37:46Speaker 1: tell me while all these lights is on, I need
- 37:49Speaker 1: to know that that that's my husband. Yeah, I need
- 37:54Speaker 1: to know WHI all these lights is on? Yess I'm
- 38:05Speaker 1: tired called junior. Yeah, okay. This this is dedicated to color.
- 38:15Speaker 1: This is Pat Boltoner's love mama. Huh. If you can
- 38:21Speaker 1: hum me, you can hear men about to make me cry.
- 38:31Speaker 1: If you can, you can hear me. Oh, this is
- 38:37Speaker 1: Brown's special. Mama was a heavy, little heavy, heavy on
- 38:41Speaker 1: the stock his side, so this is her pattern. Don't
- 38:45Speaker 1: make me run after you, and she couldn't run anyway,
- 38:50Speaker 1: But don't make me run after you. You know you
- 38:55Speaker 1: didn't want that. Let me don't walk back in and
- 38:58Speaker 1: take this because it will be neither. This one is
- 39:04Speaker 1: dedicated to Shirley's mama, Miss Helen, sit down, everyone has
- 39:12Speaker 1: seen you. All right, We'll be right back with more
- 39:20Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 39:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, it is time

- 39:45Speaker 1: This is where we take bad subjects. We put the

- 49:42Speaker 1: Oh I know it. Me and her know it because

- 51:20Speaker 1: about it, okay, and I'm thinking all of us here
- 51:24Speaker 1: on the show can come together and do it. I
- 51:26Speaker 1: just want you all know this is the first time
- 51:28Speaker 1: he's damn their march. Okay, this is this proposition. Now,
- 51:34Speaker 1: this is a proposition I think we all can benefit on.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I think we all buckle down, get you ready, and
- 51:42Speaker 1: we go to Netflix and get you twinning me and
- 51:45Speaker 1: you break us all off and everybody, oh man, man, like,
- 51:56Speaker 1: get what that is the most amazing? First of all,
- 52:07Speaker 1: what you think? Come on, you would have to find
- 52:09Speaker 1: out after they've offered rock and everybody forty million? Would
- 52:15Speaker 1: I do it for twenty? So you have to ask
- 52:18Speaker 1: me that first. Just I'm not gonna let you. This
- 52:23Speaker 1: is why he can't go just as him. Would you
- 52:27Speaker 1: do it? Would you do it for the twenty that
- 52:29Speaker 1: they offer? Hell? Yea, yeah, not not hold up. Wait
- 52:37Speaker 1: a minute, y'all. Y'all, y'all moving through first with him?
- 52:39Speaker 1: I mean, you know how many of us it is? Now? Yeah,
- 52:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna be happy with my five don't say five

- 54:04Speaker 1: to Tommy? Tommy is doing today's Strawberry lettter. I've never
- 54:08Speaker 1: turned over to Strawberry, but this one, right here, this
- 54:13Speaker 1: is I wanted us. I want people to see just
- 54:16Speaker 1: as how much trouble you can get in with your
- 54:19Speaker 1: damn mouth. You're going to Oh, you're gonna regret those
- 54:22Speaker 1: I'm here though, in case I need to. You know, stop, okay,
- 54:29Speaker 1: buggle up, hold on tight, we gotta pull you here.
- 54:32Speaker 1: It is, y'all Berry letter. I know subject kind of
- 54:36Speaker 1: manage TOI save my marriage. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've known
- 54:43Speaker 1: my husband for twenty years and we've been married for
- 54:46Speaker 1: three years. He cheated on me multiple times with multiple women,
- 54:50Speaker 1: but I'm standing by my wedding vows. I always prayed
- 54:54Speaker 1: that the Good Lord would see us through his infidelity,
- 54:58Speaker 1: and now we're rebuilding our marriage. Not many women would
- 55:01Speaker 1: be as forgiving as I am. Having said all of that,
- 55:05Speaker 1: I still have plenty of good sense, and I've reached
- 55:07Speaker 1: my limit on foolishness, So you can only imagine how
- 55:11Speaker 1: I felt recently when my husband asked me for a threesome. Yes,
- 55:16Speaker 1: he asked me more than once to have another woman
- 55:20Speaker 1: join us in the bedroom. He said that it will
- 55:22Speaker 1: keep him from fantasizing about other women and having the
- 55:26Speaker 1: urge to cheat. I told him he needs professional help
- 55:30Speaker 1: and a better relationship with the Lord. He told me
- 55:33Speaker 1: that I need to obey him like I obey the Lord,
- 55:35Speaker 1: and give him what he wants. Like I said, I
- 55:39Speaker 1: stand by my vows, and I do submit and obey
- 55:41Speaker 1: my husband to an extent. But this time he has
- 55:45Speaker 1: gone too far. The God that I served would not
- 55:49Speaker 1: condone this. I don't want to lose my marriage, but
- 55:52Speaker 1: this man may need more than I can give him.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Please help me figure this one out. Wow, And as
- 55:59Speaker 1: we mentioned early or Steve will not be responding. Tommy
- 56:02Speaker 1: will Jesus, You're gonna have to I can, okay? All right?
- 56:09Speaker 1: All right, Well, you know what you ask for us
- 56:11Speaker 1: to Please help you figure this one out. I think
- 56:14Speaker 1: you know in your heart of hearts you you already
- 56:17Speaker 1: have this figured out. You know what the deal is. Uh,
- 56:20Speaker 1: you just want Steve and I to confirm it for you.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I mean, you have to ask yourself. Wedding vows aside
- 56:27Speaker 1: for a second. Why are you still taking this, this
- 56:30Speaker 1: cheating and these ridiculous requests from your husband? I mean,
- 56:34Speaker 1: why are you still standing in all of this? Your
- 56:37Speaker 1: husband is disrespectful, he's selfish, uh and has obviously no
- 56:41Speaker 1: regard for you, your marriage or your marriage vows. Just
- 56:45Speaker 1: because you've known him for twenty years and have been
- 56:47Speaker 1: hanging in there, it doesn't mean you can't put his
- 56:50Speaker 1: trifling but in his place. Let him know how you
- 56:52Speaker 1: really really feel. Just like you told us in the letter,
- 56:56Speaker 1: I mean, you're right. Not many women would be as
- 56:58Speaker 1: forgiving as you are. So many women are, though, but
- 57:02Speaker 1: I you know this is a lot. Twenty years, he's
- 57:05Speaker 1: been cheating on you with multiple women, and you're still there.
- 57:08Speaker 1: I mean, I just don't know how much more you
- 57:13Speaker 1: think you can take. I mean, or are you willing
- 57:16Speaker 1: to take? Why are you willing to take this? You
- 57:18Speaker 1: don't have to. You don't have to. There is nothing
- 57:21Speaker 1: in the marriage violes that say you have to stay
- 57:23Speaker 1: here if he's cheating on you like this. This is ridiculous. Um.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You know, like I said, I think you've figured this
- 57:29Speaker 1: out on your own. You know what to do. You
- 57:31Speaker 1: just want Steve and I to confirm it. If he
- 57:33Speaker 1: continues to do this, you got to get out of this.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I think you made a good suggestion. He does need
- 57:38Speaker 1: professional help and a better relationship with the Lord. Having
- 57:44Speaker 1: said that, Tommy, you're up. Glad you've finished with the Lord.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Obey me, Lord, like you obeyed the Lord, obey me
- 57:54Speaker 1: the same way. What do the vials say? What do
- 57:57Speaker 1: they say on and obey? Don't they say that? Yeah,
- 58:02Speaker 1: a lot of women don't keep those in there, though,
- 58:04Speaker 1: But they but they But so, you can't just take
- 58:06Speaker 1: out what you want. So let me say this to
- 58:08Speaker 1: get some mold people in this room. I didn't ask
- 58:12Speaker 1: for it, and ask for it, na, I quit flirting
- 58:15Speaker 1: with other women. If you do what, get some mold
- 58:18Speaker 1: paper in this room. I apologize for the twenty of
- 58:23Speaker 1: disrespecting you and cheating. I'm asking you not so I
- 58:27Speaker 1: don't have to cheat on you. We do this together.
- 58:30Speaker 1: You want to do stuff together. Let's do stuff together.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Get some mode people in this room. That's what I want.
- 58:37Speaker 1: I'm asking you to your faint for a managy name
- 58:40Speaker 1: Dwine whatever they called it. Trio, It's what I want.
- 58:44Speaker 1: It's one of the threesome. Yes, asking you for Oh,
- 58:47Speaker 1: I hope she listening this morning. Another thing. The cheating
- 58:51Speaker 1: stop and soon as you get somebody in this room,
- 58:55Speaker 1: we could do it together. So it's okay to cheat
- 58:57Speaker 1: as long as you're in the yeah it together. This
- 59:01Speaker 1: is fun. This is this, This is an yeah, yeah,
- 59:05Speaker 1: what kind you want? What you want me to say?
- 59:08Speaker 1: To him? Oh? He wrong? He shouldn't be asking you.
- 59:11Speaker 1: He's down the question. Steve is wrong for letting you
- 59:14Speaker 1: do this. You know this is a beautiful thing. We
- 59:17Speaker 1: got to get it all out in the open. You
- 59:19Speaker 1: understand that that's how naked gets better when you get
- 59:22Speaker 1: it out and open. You ain't felt naked to you
- 59:25Speaker 1: out there comfortable with yourself. And see out there with
- 59:28Speaker 1: you naked together, and we're inviting friends over, Come on
- 59:32Speaker 1: over to you understanding that, come on over to the high.
- 59:36Speaker 1: We're gonna have food, We're gonna have oh drink, We're
- 59:39Speaker 1: gonna be naked. All that's gonna be in there together
- 59:41Speaker 1: having what butt naked fun? I've never been butt naked
- 59:45Speaker 1: not having fun? Tell me that. But if but she
- 59:48Speaker 1: don't know it, if she don't try it, if she
- 59:50Speaker 1: wants this to work, she loves him, She don't want
- 59:53Speaker 1: to leave to your body. What did she say, I'm
- 59:56Speaker 1: standing by my wedding vows. Yes, you are stand by
- 59:59Speaker 1: your man, baby, staying by your man naked along with
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: other people naked, do it together, naked boy. Matter of fact,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: if you agree with Tommy, blow your horn right now?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Your just being blown across this country. Do you hear
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: these points that's being blown across this country, all me
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: and out there. If you want what Tommy want, if
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you want the wife to allow you to brank somebody by, hey,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: blow your horn. You're here and you're just gonna sit there. Stephen,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: just not say anything right now? Who wants you're here
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: right now? This is not about traffic. Are you gonna
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: blow the horn so your wife can hear the point?
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: You know you're always punching me on my brakes, But
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: guess what I blows that horn? Blow your horn? Yeah,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I'm blowing them. God, this is just okay. Well, don't
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: let niked fool. What do you mean NI trying to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: say something? Profile We'll be back hopefully Steve you can help. Yeah,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I'll be talking on the next half of twenty three
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: after the hours when we'll be back with this strawberry letters,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: subject can of manage tie save my marriage? Tell me?
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Seems to think so you're listening Harvey Morning Show this
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: strawberry letter, the subject can of manage twice? Save my marriage?
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Please let me. First of all, it's a ridiculous statement
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: for this woman to make. She's been with this husband
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: for twenty years. They've been married three He's cheated on
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: her multiple times with multiple women. You are she standing
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: by her waiting vows She's prayed that the Good Lord
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: would see us through this infidelity. Now they're rebuilding their marriage,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: and she realize that not many women would be as
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: forgiven as I am. Having said that, uh, and she
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: still got plenty good sense. She has reached her limit
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: of foolishness. So I can only imagine how we felt
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: when he recently asked her for a threesome. He asked
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: this lady more than once to have another woman join
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: us in the bedroom. He said it will keep him
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: from fantasizing about other women and having the urge to cheat.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: She told him he needs professional help and a better
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: relationship with the Lord. He told her that I need
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: to obey him like I obey the Lord, and give
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: him what he wants. Well, the lady then said, I
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: stand by my vials and I do submit and obey
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: my husband to an extent, but this time he's gone
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: too far. God, I served would not condone this. I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: don't want to lose my marriage. That's a key line here.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: M h. But this man may need more than I
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: can give him. Please help me figure this out. There's
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: nothing to figure this out. Listen to me. First of all,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: you're the only one honoring the vials in this relationship.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: You're the only one he has never honored devils, and
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: he's not willing to honor him. Now, you don't really
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: have a real marriage. You have something, but he's not
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: married to you. You're just married to him. Not A
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: cold part about this, dude, is he didn't ask you
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: to have a threeson. And the reason he told you
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: that because it would keep him from fantasizing about other
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: women and having the urge to cheat. What so you
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: think if you bring another woman in the bedroom, it
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: will stop you from fantasizing about him, and it hall
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: cause you not to want to cheat, when the whole
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: time you in that living out of fantasy and cheating,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: and and your wife watching boy, bye, I mean for real,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: are you serious? So what this man has done, he's
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: pulled to Donald Trump on you. He has flipped the narrative.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: He actually got you thinking that it's because of you
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: that he's having to fantasize and cheat. And if you
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: wanted to stop, you would bring in a third party.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Then you would have your husband not cheating and fantasizing.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: But the whole time he played living out of fantasy.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: And he's cheating right in front of you, with your permission. Lady,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: You're not that stupid. You can't be. And then he
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: keeps talking about you should obey him the way you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: obey the Lord. What boy, You ain't the Lord. You
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: ain't even close. Here's the problem with the bringing the
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: woman into the marriage that's already in trouble. How do
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you fix what's wrong with another wrong? He's not trying
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: to fix his marriage. He's trying to get all his
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: urges and fantasies fulfilled. And they don't include you, They
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: include other women. I can't believe you entertaining this. I
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: can't believe you still marriage. Why are you married to him?
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: It's only but y'all only got twenty years invested. My
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: question is why don't you leave so you can stop
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: this misery you in and do you want twenty more
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: years of this because that's all he trying to do.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: He needs to be married to a striple. Yeah, you
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: go down there and just get one of them girls
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: down off that pole that he don't mind doing this
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: way and that that that that look man that work
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: with you, They will work with you. This is so
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: sick and I want to apologize for my dam Thank you.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I'm so sold. But meanwhile, around this country, I'm just
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: telling me, they're blowing their horn up on this one him.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you now, a lot of them can't see
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: it at the house, but a bunch of them in
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: their car right now, you know what they're doing. Why
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: are they blowing their horn? They're blowing their horn because
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I see it. If you are a brother that a
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: man is riding around right now, you would like to
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: have a threesome at the high nanny, blow your horn,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: said they are blowing, and that it's so crazy. Get
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: your life, get some lord in your life. All right,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: we'll see. We gotta get out of here. Um. You
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: can email us or instagram as your thoughts on Today's
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter two minutes. Okay, I didn't know. All right, Well,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: you can say Morris Steve if you want no. Okay,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: So so let me just ask this man the PA.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: You ain't never had that thought again before Mary, befo, Mary,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: you ain't never had that. Yeah, he's told us his experience, though, Tommy,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: he didn't know what he was doing. He was the
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: most confusing things, most of damn confusing things like I
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: didn't know how to do it. I needed some instruction.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: I need a manual. When I was in there, I
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: didn't know. Okay, we've been kissing for five seconds. I'm
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: gonna kiss helf of five. I was backing for I was.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I was so tired of turning over in the bed, exhausted, monies, stories, everything,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: sleeping from side to side. I was so it was
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: exhausted at commun I ain't even like one of them
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: with the other one tapping me hold on. But let
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: me ask you this before. Did you think this was
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: like the greatest thing? Oh? You could dog? I thought
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: this was it the pinnacle you had reached and you
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: got there and lord, al right, see we gotta go
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: email us or Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry

- 1:08:32Speaker 1: you know, the one to a little up and age,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: of course, are they becoming annoying with their texting? You know,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: as annoying as young people with their texting and stuff
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: like that. Do you regret your parents and your in
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: laws people like that, other relatives having a smartphone. They
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: don't know what they do and they can't see the screen.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Good Mama would say, Kyle him and be seeing Kyle Hope.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: You'd be like, come on now, you don't have to
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: work on this, but they expect you to know. Why
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: do you Why don't you call me back? Do you
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: call me? Who? My problem is? My brother and sisters?
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: What Steve? See my I'm the youngest in my family.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: So my my my brother levin years older than me,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: my sister twenty one years older than so I got
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: damn the old people in my family. My sister Pola
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: got a flip phone. So she texted and won't change,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: but got to hit the number of certain money to
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: come up. And Lord Jesus, it's like when her text
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: come up, it's damn there in Morrish Kobe, I got
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: a friend of people that specializes in encryption to read
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: hard damn Like at the end when she signed love Polly,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: it says something like Lo Paul. What I just go,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Lo Pa? What the hell is lo Paul? Because you
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: know their patients is short sound that sounds fine, he'll
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about. No, my grandmother just got
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: the internet last year for Christmas. She got the internet.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: It's not even na. She emailing me, moaning, that's the
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: whole email. I would never get it, moaning. Then she'll come,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: did you get my email? She just got it. What
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: you're doing? I love that. That's the second email. They
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: don't have nothing to do with nothing. I told my brother.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: I told my brother, I said, hey, man, listen to me.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Don't believe stuff that you read about me online. My
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: brother said, where is that? Where's the land stoke? I
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: love that? Did he get mad when he reached uff
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: about you? Like like he would be at the grocery
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: store seeing inquir something, but my brother hood though he
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: called me man. He said, hey man, little bro, don't
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: take sugar honey off, iced tea off. Nobody love bro. Dog.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: That's his whole tex. Don't take sugar honey, iced tea off.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Nobody love bro. Man. Then you didn't see something else?
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Then here just tech me f all. That is your
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: brother and my brother man. I mean that, and I
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: mean that he takes. But on the flip side, have
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: have your kids ever like taking your phone? Just give
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: it to me, Mom, I'll do it, Dad, I'll do
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: They know how to go into another settings I need? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: especially my daughter. She's so everything. She texts emojis. It's
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: just absolutely I don't even know what half those emojis mean.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: But Steve, you're awfully quirt right now. I don't really,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I said, I said my daughter some emojis the other day,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: just messing with her. Uh, she said, Dad, what does
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: this mean? I said, Hell, you send him. I don't
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: know what yours mean. I just sent some eyeball, some
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: black feet, and a ghost. I'm sure to kill. I'm
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: sure to kill. I kill you. Describe what I said. Remember,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: we used to call him Emergy Steve MG. The ended
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: with one hunter and everything, my favorite one on what
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I said, all right, he gonna tell you what I said. Okay,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: this fool sent some black feet. Huh, the looking ass,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: one eyeball, and a ghost. What does that mean? So
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: then my daughter said, give me that tell tell him
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: what I said. You said, hello, respond please. I knew
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: that through a little last centisode. She said, l m
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: a O. I wasn't really sure what to say to that.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Then a little crime face. Oh yeah, So I said,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: that's laughing. So I told her what it said. That's laughing.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: See crying faces, that's laughing. Yeah, yeah, ain't they just
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: got a smiling face for that. Well yeah, but that
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: that means yeah. So the text what I that's this
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: is what I text up. Okay, so he explains all
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: the emotions. Now she said, I don't know what that means.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I don't know how to respond. So now I said, okay,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: check this out. It says blackfeet, let's go, asked. See,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: I means I'll see ghosts if you're surprised. That's that's
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: all that means, because we were going to have a
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: lunch date. That's prison code is my daughters. But it's
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: no damn prison Okay, but really, Steve, the photos, I mean,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that's what I'm talking about. Code, it's the code. I'm
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: not kidding, dog, that's crazy. The ghost say, let's go.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I say, see the eyeball, I see, I see see
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: eyeball and then the ghosts. If you surprise, yeah you
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: do better just call yeah, they have a surprise face
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: on there. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: So Jay got to ask you this now as you age,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: you were thinking about the good old days, right, okay,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: and what did you come up? Came up with and
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Steve and everybody else can join in. It's just how
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: what we had and what they got now. Millennials millennials,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: but they don't even like to be called millennials. They
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: just they don't like that. They want to be I
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: don't know what they want to be called. It's going
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: to be. I just want to be that's one over there.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Don't like it, look at it. I don't like being
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: for instanced. They've got video games, they got him what

- 1:16:36Speaker 1: the oven? Um? How about that one? Yeah, my sister,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: my sister's daughter had an easy bake oven on Christmas Day.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: We pulled the cake battle. We didn't eat the cake

- 1:17:10Speaker 1: or what? Everywhere? We walked? They we had albums. Yeah,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: I was thinking of that. Look how many ways we
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: bought one song? We bought it on albums, eight tracks,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: five nights, real, the real. Now they're downloading. Yeah, yeah, digital,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: that's it. They got bottle of water bottle. If you
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: wanted water back in the day, how did you get waters?
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Because I was free. They're gonna make me stay stood
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: there dehydrated, dragging that water hole. Mute sister. They got
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: ice machines on the refrigerated. If you wanted ice back
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: in the day, Steve, how did you get ice? You made?
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: You made it in the trade? Did you make but
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: six cubes? Out of time? Put the little handle on it. Man,

- 1:18:53Speaker 1: get changed things, they get punished, They get punished, time out. Yeah,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: what what did we get, Steve got? I'm telling you
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: with what though? Anything? Anything we got whooped today was
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: just out of time. They had to be somewhere else
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: and they had us to go get it. Yeah, you
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: ever had this? Right here, I'm gonna beat the black
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: off to be quite. Yeah. Man, they got Instagram? Now
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: how do we how do we develop pictures? Back in there?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: You took a picture, you dropped it off at the
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: little booth, and you waited a month booth drug stoke. Yeah,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: you waited a month for you so your picture one

- 1:20:24Speaker 1: All right, they got smartphones. Now, if you wanted to
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: make a call back in the day, you had a
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: roll of quarters, you stood by the pay phone. What
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: what when I when I would call Steve, Steve would
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: call me and he would call me and tell me
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: he's gonna be at such and such a number. He
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: would drive to the next number and then call me
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: from where I would now. But someplaces we would stay,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: the phones will go off at nine o'clock. What. Yeah,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: they cut they had like a switchbod, it'd be off. Yeah,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: the phone just be off. Ye. Yeah, you couldn't call
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: him to the next day. Are you talking about telephone?
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: You talk about hotel the hotel room switchboard off, we
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: switch board switch board. Ain't nobody you can get the call,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: but ain't nobody connected. So what happened in case it
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: for the emergency? What you didn't happen to not having
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: a bigger It didn't happen to man, man, you do
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: not You better wait till morning if you've had an
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: emergency to keep it to you saying don't share it
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: and gonna meet all coming up. It's more of the
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, get ready. We consulting an expert because
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: we wanted to know the real deal. Okay, Steve is
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: here with his breakup handbook. All right, Jesus. Things that
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: you need to have in mind after the break up.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Most most of this is for fellas, because when we
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: take a breakup hard, it's ugly. It's ugly out there. Now.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: These are things from Steve Harvey's Breakup Handbook, How to
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: act when you break up? All right. Now here's rule
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: number one. You are allowed only one drunk die You
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: know how you call him up when you drunk? You
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: only get the one. And it sounds like something like this,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Hello is me? You know who me here? Don't play
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: with You know who me? Don't play with my emotions?
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: Is me? You? You you know who me? Many? You
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: get one? Get one of them? All right. Now here's
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: the next rule. You are not allowed to roll up
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: on your ex just because you see that car parked
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: outside the club, the restaurant or church. Don't go down.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: You can't do that. Shot we broke up. I can't
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: go in there if I see the car. You can
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: know you can't roll up on them. Now I got
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: something with church later on, But just stay there, stay
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: out right, you girl, can't roll up on them. Oh
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: that she is, I'm gonna go in now, Oh that
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: he is. I'm going in there. You can't do that call, okay,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: allegedly al right, next one y'all's favorite spot. It's off
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: limits to both parties for at least four moments. Tell
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: nobody else over there at least four months. Here's another one,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: texting your favorite song to each other. It's off men.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: You can listen to it, you can cry to it.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: You're playing over and over, but you can't sit. So
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I'm trying to move on and I'm killing now. Listen
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: to you all, y'all. Stuff, all possessions is collected at
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: one time, and one time. Anything that's left behind will
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: be thrown away by old part Like you ain't keep
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: coming over here looking for stuff. You can't keep coming
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: back over here. I got coming to you in the
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: closet looking for your tank top. He keeping it real.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: You hit a big one right here. Nobody is allowed
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: to talk to each other's. Mama's friends with you, and
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: you can't be friends with mama. Come home Mama day. Yeah,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: hit at least that's a good one, Steve. I like
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: he was trying to pick up some greens and you
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: and here talking rolling your ass. When I walk into
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: day coming up, it's more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Show at thirty three after the hour, you're listening Steve
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. When you know it's time to go
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: back to church, it's time. You know when it's time
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: to church. Okay, when you know it is time to
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: take yo, but that church. Somebody needs to lay hands
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: on me right now. Jesus, Jesus, how did I get here?
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: When you wake up and you with somebody and you
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: don't know their name, it is time. Who you talk
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: about backsliding? Yeah, how long we've been laying handcuffs? Yeah,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: it's time to go back to church. When you wake
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: up in this bike box, you can't explain not who
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: I'm doing it too much. I'm doing too much. You
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: know it? When you wake up and you got her
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: phone on what to do and it's backwards, you in
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: the back and in the back part in the front.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: That's the crazy, crazy visual right there, that it's time
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: for you to go back to the church. When you're
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: starting to look at your boys grandmama and starting to
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: feel something. Yeah, fool that you just something to me.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: I never felt this way. Let you know it's time
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: to go back to the church. When you see spake
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: marks on your behind and you don't know how they
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: got that. He came, Yeah, you can't excuse me, did
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: you know? And it's a man hand. It's pretty rough way.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: You know what's happy day? When your lights watering gay
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: get turned off the same day you can't do nothing.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: It's time. You know it's time to go back. When
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: you wake up and your whole chest is pierced the
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: la time for you to go back to the church.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: You've been arguing with this fine girl for on a head,
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: trying to convince her that ain't no way y'all can
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: be cause it's ting to we're not really cousins, now,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: how you figuring that? We about down to the fifth?
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: The fifth? It's time to go back to church. You
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: know it's time to go back to church. When you
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: wake up with a tattoo that says Veronica and you
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: don't know that name, it's time to go back to church.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: When you start stalking anybody, Oh little women talk about
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: every way they all right? When we come back. It
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: is time for closing remarks. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, it's time for your closing remarks. Okay,
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: today I thought a good subject to talk about was
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: about I think mentors being mentored, how to attract the
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: right mentor. Um, I don't care what you're thinking of
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: doing in your life. I don't care what decisions you make.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: Somebody has already done it, attempted it, gone down that road,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: made the attempt. Maybe not your ideas specifically, but the
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: route to get there has already been traveled for the
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: most part. Uh, if you want to be successful, there
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: are successful people. If you want to be a star athlete,
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: that's a star. You know what I'm saying. I'm saying
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: to you that whatever it is you're trying to accomplish,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: somebody has already taken the path. Now, finding these people
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: is really really not that difficult. Now getting in front
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: of them is where you're gonna find the difficulty. So
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: let me give you a couple of suggestions. What is
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: the best way to approach a mentor? What is the
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: best way to approach a mentor of means? And I'm
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: mentor with means, because that's that's two different people. You know,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Martin Luther King was a mentor of means. He wasn't
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: a wealthy man, but Lord have mercy man. The knowledge
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: that he could have given you about struggling and overcoming
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: and and and stick tuitiveness, those those lessons he could
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: have taught you would have been invaluable. So you have
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: two different types of mentors. You have mentors of means
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: and mentors with means. Now, if you can find the
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: two combined, that's even more special. But you're getting into
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: more of a rare territory. Now. It's harder to find
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: mentors of means and with means combined, because how do
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: you get to that person? How do you get to
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: the oprah Winfreys. When you find someone in your life,
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: or you meet some morena, you hear someone, you put
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: them on your vision board. I want to meet this
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: person one day. I would love to have a conversation
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: with this person. You have to understand something. Most people
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: with means of any kind, like Bishop Jake's, he has
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: a lot of means man. He dolls well financially too,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: but he is also just a man of wealth of knowledge.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: How do you get to these people, Well, it's several
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: ways to do it, but if you can somehow find
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: that way, because there's no specific way right when you
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: get in front of this person, I want you to
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: understand something when you're facing them. They don't mind teaching
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: and sharing because most people of means are great sharers
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: and great teachers. A bishop Jake's, Joe Oldstein, that brother
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: that has the app out the hip hop uh preacher
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Eric Eric Thomas. Brothers like that too, and I listened
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: to him man a lot of times. But getting in
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: front of them, taking their course or whatever you might do.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: When you get in front of them, they don't mind
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: teaching and sharing. They will mind giving you money. See,
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: most people want to meet a minute so they can
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: present an idea to him and get some financial help.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: That's the quickest way to run them off out of
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: it because everybody is used to that. Do you have
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: any idea how many times in a week I'm asked
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: for money? It's sickening. But if you come to me
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: and say, man, could you just give me a piece
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: of advice? I usually don't have no problem with that.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: I got time for most anybody that wants some advice
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: wants me to share a wealth a piece of knowledge.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: That's okay. So when you get to these people have
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: a plan to be taught something. Ask him to teach
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: you to fish, not to give you a fish sandwich.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Ask them to teach you to fish. They don't have
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: a problem with that. Now in several ways to get
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: in front of them. But when you do get that,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: when you finally do meet them, and meeting the main
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: as difficult as you think. Now, if you live in
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: you know, New York, and your mental lives in l A,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: you're gonna have to find a way to get to
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: l A. Oh, you gotta find out when you come
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: to New York. You gotta do some research. But you
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: have mentors closer than that. You have somebody who's a
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: really well mentally balanced person that you need information from.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: You have a person who seems to be doing really
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: well with a wife and their children you need information from.
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: Because it's all a balancing act. You can't be successful
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: in your business and while your family sitting over there
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: struggling and in ruins is not going to work. Once
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: you learn the traits of success, it it filters over
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: into every other aspect of life, So you gotta have
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: a balance. You can find these people right here. Don't
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: ask them for money. People want to share and teach
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: and give you information. Nation. Everybody needs a mentor. You
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: cannot make it without mentorship. You know, there's an incredible saying,
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: and we ain't got to get into why so incredible.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: But friendship is essential to the soul. You know why
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: friendship is so essential to the soul. I've lost my mother,
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: my father, I've lost my brother, I've lost my best friend.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: Before you can live your life without your mother, you
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: may have to eventually. One day. You can live your
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: life without your father. You may eventually have to do that.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: One day. You can live your life without your uncles
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: and your relatives. But you know what, it's very very
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: difficult to live your life without or friend. It is
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: very very difficult to live in this world with no friendship.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: Nowhere you can it's man, you got. Friendship is essential
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: to the soul. Don't try to do it all by yourself,
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: because nobody gets to the top by yourself. For all
