Tragic Highway Crash Near Wapiti | Cheyenne News
A deadly crash near Wapiti on August 12th left one dead and several injured when a Ford pickup drifted into oncoming traffic, slamming into two motorcycles and triggering a chain reaction that also took out a WYDOT vehicle. Two victims were airlifted to hospitals, two others treated and released, while the WYDOT driver walked away unharmed. The highway was shut down for hours as authorities launched an active investigation into what caused this horrific chain of collisions.
