- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome its verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you.
- 0:04Speaker 1: It's nice to have you with us on this Wednesday morning.
- 0:07Speaker 1: And there's a big controversy and a big story that
- 0:10Speaker 1: the media has just I mean, they've gone all in
- 0:13Speaker 1: on that deals with conversations that were had center on
- 0:17Speaker 1: the Signal app. A lot of people in government use it.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I use this app. It's encrypted, that's why they use it.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And a journalist it was inadvertently put on apparently one
- 0:26Speaker 1: of those text message threads.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Well, the media are a flutter with what they're calling
- 0:33Speaker 2: Signal Gate, which is this text thread on the app
- 0:38Speaker 2: Signal and it was about the military strikes against the
- 0:42Speaker 2: Huthis who have been attacking shipping shipping in the Suez Canal,
- 0:49Speaker 2: and inadvertently the National Security Advisor added this journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg,
- 0:57Speaker 2: who then wrote an article and I got to say,
- 0:58Speaker 2: it's an astonishing article. The media are going crazy and
- 1:01Speaker 2: they're using it as an excuse to attack President Trump,
- 1:05Speaker 2: to attack his national security team. Now we're going to
- 1:07Speaker 2: break down what exactly was going on there, What did
- 1:11Speaker 2: they do anything wrong? Were they talking about? What happened?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Why does it matter. We're going to break it all down.
- 1:17Speaker 2: We're also going to talk about what has happened to
- 1:21Speaker 2: the Democrat Party. They're getting angrier and angrier and angrier,
- 1:25Speaker 2: and they are embracing violence every day, they're calling for violence.
- 1:29Speaker 2: They are the Party of Rage. And finally, we're going
- 1:33Speaker 2: to talk about the media coverage about how the Democrats
- 1:37Speaker 2: are in a quote deep dark hole. That's not me,
- 1:42Speaker 2: that's Axios, one of the most mainstream corporate media outlets
- 1:48Speaker 2: there is, that says the Democrats are in the deepest
- 1:52Speaker 2: hole in fifty years. We're going to break that down.
- 1:55Speaker 2: How when a party decides it doesn't stand for anything,
- 1:58Speaker 2: When a party gets so radical that it abandons the voters,
- 2:01Speaker 2: When a party is formed only around one idea, which
- 2:05Speaker 2: is hatred for Donald J. Trump, that turns out not
- 2:09Speaker 2: to be a successful electoral strategy. We're going to talk
- 2:11Speaker 2: about that as well.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah, the gig seems to be up certainly the American
- 2:15Speaker 1: voters on that. And there's some polling data will also
- 2:17Speaker 1: give you in a minute as well that you don't
- 2:19Speaker 1: want to miss. I want to tell you about the
- 2:20Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews first, and for more
- 2:24Speaker 1: than a year it has been of war, of terror,
- 2:28Speaker 1: of pain in Israel. The need for security essentials and
- 2:32Speaker 1: support for first responders is still very critical in Israel.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Even in times of quote ceasefire, Israel has to be
- 2:41Speaker 1: prepared for the next attack wherever it may come from,
- 2:44Speaker 1: because Israel is surrounded by enemies on all sides. That
- 2:48Speaker 1: is where the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has
- 2:51Speaker 1: come in and are supporting those that are doing this
- 2:54Speaker 1: incredible work the people of Israel with life saving security
- 2:58Speaker 1: essentials is what you you can be a part of,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and your gift today will help save lives by providing
- 3:03Speaker 1: bomb shelters, armored security vehicles, armored ambulances, firefighting equipment, flag jackets,
- 3:11Speaker 1: and even bulletproof vest for first responders. Your generous donation
- 3:16Speaker 1: will help ensure the people of Israel are safe and
- 3:20Speaker 1: secure in the days and weeks to come. So give
- 3:23Speaker 1: a gift to bless Israel and her people by visiting
- 3:26Speaker 1: support IFCJ dot org. That's one word support if CJ
- 3:34Speaker 1: dot org. You can also call them eight at eight
- 3:37Speaker 1: four eight eight I f CJ. That's eight A eight
- 3:41Speaker 1: four eight eight if CJ eight at eight four eight
- 3:45Speaker 1: eight four three two five are support IFCJ dot org.
- 3:51Speaker 1: So Senator. When this story broke, it was very clear
- 3:55Speaker 1: the media thought this was the moment where they could
- 3:57Speaker 1: turn the tables on Donald Trump as administer. I think
- 4:01Speaker 1: there was even some dreams of maybe someone gets fired
- 4:04Speaker 1: sixty days into this administration, the cabinet because of this
- 4:08Speaker 1: journalist report that I got on a text thread with
- 4:12Speaker 1: all these important people in Trump administration world. And now
- 4:15Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what I saw.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Well, look what happened is there was a text thread
- 4:23Speaker 2: and it was using the app called Signal. Now, Signal
- 4:26Speaker 2: is an encrypted app. A lot of people in government
- 4:30Speaker 2: use it. You use it, I use it, a lot
- 4:31Speaker 2: of journalists use it. It's a way to communicate an
- 4:34Speaker 2: encrypted way that it is less likely to be intercepted.
- 4:38Speaker 2: And that there was a group chat that was created
- 4:41Speaker 2: by President Trump's national security advisor, Michael Waltz about the
- 4:48Speaker 2: upcoming strikes against the Houthis and Yemen, and bizarrely included
- 4:54Speaker 2: in the group was a journalist named Jeffrey Goldberg who
- 4:58Speaker 2: was at The Atlantic magazine. And jeff Beffrey Goldberg is
- 5:00Speaker 2: a liberal. He's a well known journalist, and it I
- 5:05Speaker 2: have no good explanation for why Jeffrey Goldberg was added.
- 5:09Speaker 2: He's the editor in chief of The Atlantic, and it
- 5:11Speaker 2: was a screw up, and and and let's start with that.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It was clearly a screw up. It was embarrassing. It
- 5:19Speaker 2: it's sort of comparable to a butt dial. You know, Look,
- 5:23Speaker 2: I've inadvertently sent texts to the wrong person. I'm sure
- 5:27Speaker 2: you have. In this instance, it was clear it was
- 5:31Speaker 2: a mistake. He was not meant to be added to
- 5:33Speaker 2: this group, and suddenly, bizarrely he is getting text about
- 5:37Speaker 2: an upcoming military strike. So that was bad. At the
- 5:40Speaker 2: end of the day. Though, what is striking, although although
- 5:44Speaker 2: you're seeing the sharks circle and trying to attack the
- 5:48Speaker 2: president of the National Security Team, is the underlying substance
- 5:51Speaker 2: of what's being discussed is actually quite good. So the
- 5:56Speaker 2: substance of what's being discussed. The Huthies are radical Islamic terrorists.
- 6:01Speaker 2: They're based in Yemen, and they are funded by Iran.
- 6:04Speaker 2: They are Iran proxies, and they have been for months,
- 6:09Speaker 2: for years attacking shipping in and around the Suez Canal,
- 6:15Speaker 2: and they've been shutting down a massive amount of shipping
- 6:19Speaker 2: at the Suez Canal and that has had a real
- 6:23Speaker 2: consequence to Americans. So listen, when you go to the
- 6:26Speaker 2: grocery store, when you go to the department store, you
- 6:29Speaker 2: are paying significantly higher prices because the Huthis have been
- 6:34Speaker 2: shutting down shipping through the Suez Canal, which makes shipping
- 6:39Speaker 2: and transportation cost much much higher. And I got to say,
- 6:43Speaker 2: for four years, Joe Biden, the Democrats, they didn't do
- 6:46Speaker 2: a damn thing. They let radical Islamic terrorists engage in
- 6:52Speaker 2: acts of terrorism and shut down shipping, slow down shipping.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And what has happened in the first two months of
- 6:58Speaker 2: the Trump administration is President Trump gave an instruction to
- 7:02Speaker 2: his team. He said, open up the shipping lanes. Let's
- 7:07Speaker 2: go after the Houthies. And by the way, we carried
- 7:10Speaker 2: out a military strike hit the Houthis and did real damage.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And so this entire text chain is the national security
- 7:19Speaker 2: leadership of the Trump administration talking about this upcoming strike,
- 7:24Speaker 2: and the strike was a massive success. So on substance,
- 7:29Speaker 2: we got to be thrilled. We actually have a commander
- 7:31Speaker 2: in chief who's standing up for America, who's defending American shipping,
- 7:35Speaker 2: is defending American interests, who's fighting terrorists who hate America.
- 7:40Speaker 2: All of that is a massive contrast from what happened
- 7:43Speaker 2: under Joe Biden. What was the mistake? The mistake was
- 7:47Speaker 2: inadvertently they added this journalist who then wrote this sort
- 7:51Speaker 2: of breathless bombshell story about I was on this text
- 7:55Speaker 2: about the war plans, and again it was a screw up.
- 7:58Speaker 2: It was embarrassing, but the under lying substance every one
- 8:02Speaker 2: of us ought to be really happy about.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You mentioned that this was one of those moments that, look,
- 8:07Speaker 1: the press wanted to go ballistic on. There was also
- 8:11Speaker 1: really I think a smart move by the White House
- 8:14Speaker 1: to have no problem having a conversation about this. The
- 8:18Speaker 1: President didn't run away from it. There was no no comment,
- 8:21Speaker 1: there was much. There was a lot of like openness
- 8:24Speaker 1: and conversation, like, hey, we're more than happy to talk
- 8:27Speaker 1: about this. I actually think the American people appreciate that,
- 8:32Speaker 1: because usually when they're screw ups, Amen, everybody just disappears
- 8:36Speaker 1: from you know, accountability or even answering questions or saying
- 8:39Speaker 1: we can't talk about this time or it deals with
- 8:41Speaker 1: classified there's always a million excuses. The president didn't use
- 8:44Speaker 1: any of those, like let's talk about it and he
- 8:45Speaker 1: did it in front of the journalists, in front of
- 8:48Speaker 1: this entire cabinet as well.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so let me make a couple comments on this.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Number One, During four years of Biden's presidency, he hit
- 8:58Speaker 2: hid from the press, he didn't press conferences, he didn't
- 9:01Speaker 2: take questions, and it's not complicated why his mental condition
- 9:06Speaker 2: was so deteriorated that nobody trust him to take questions.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Donald Trump is taking questions. It seems like every day
- 9:13Speaker 2: he's answering hard questions. And so today at the White
- 9:16Speaker 2: House he was asked about reporters about what happened here,
- 9:20Speaker 2: and we're going to play a segment, and this is
- 9:23Speaker 2: a lengthy segment, but it's worth listening to because the
- 9:27Speaker 2: president explains what's going on. I think his answers here
- 9:31Speaker 2: are terrific and it's worth really listening to what he says.
- 9:35Speaker 3: So give a listen, mister president, are you going to
- 9:37Speaker 3: change in you to practices that your national security officials used?
- 9:41Speaker 4: Acker reporter was inaffortently added to a group chat about
- 9:45Speaker 4: attacks on Evan.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Well, I think it's a question I've been asked now
- 9:50Speaker 5: and I've given it a few answers, and they've all
- 9:53Speaker 5: been the same. We have an amazing group or national
- 9:56Speaker 5: security now is stronger than it's ever been. We have
- 10:00Speaker 5: I've had a very very successful numerous attacks.
- 10:04Speaker 6: In that area.
- 10:04Speaker 5: These are people that shoot down ships. Not only are
- 10:07Speaker 5: ships ships all over the world. They're shooting down right
- 10:09Speaker 5: out of the water and damaging them badly or they're
- 10:13Speaker 5: going down. They're also shooting anything that happens to be
- 10:15Speaker 5: flying in the area.
- 10:17Speaker 6: We hit them very, very hard.
- 10:19Speaker 5: There was no classified information as I understand it.
- 10:23Speaker 6: They used a.
- 10:25Speaker 5: App, if you want to call it an app that
- 10:29Speaker 5: a lot of people use, a lot of people in
- 10:30Speaker 5: government use, a lot of people in the big aus.
- 10:33Speaker 5: And I think I'll ask Mike, Mike is here. Do
- 10:36Speaker 5: you want to respond to theness?
- 10:37Speaker 7: Yes, mister President, you asked about lessons. I think there's
- 10:40Speaker 7: a lot of the lessons. There's a lot of journalists
- 10:43Speaker 7: in this city who have made big names for themselves
- 10:46Speaker 7: making up lies about this president, whether it's the Russia
- 10:50Speaker 7: hoax or making up lies about gold Star families. And
- 10:53Speaker 7: this one in particular, i've never met.
- 10:55Speaker 8: Don't know, never communicated with, And we are and we
- 10:59Speaker 8: are looking into and reviewing how the heck he got
- 11:02Speaker 8: into this room but I'll tell you what the world
- 11:04Speaker 8: owes President Trump of favor.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Under Biden, global.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Shipping was shut down, penprick attacks months between them, are
- 11:12Speaker 7: destroyers being fired upon dozens of times. President Trump took
- 11:16Speaker 7: decisive active action with his national security team, took out
- 11:21Speaker 7: the head missileer, knocked out missiles, knocked out headquarters, knocked
- 11:25Speaker 7: out communication sites, and for once, as we hear, as
- 11:29Speaker 7: you all hear from every one of our allies, thank
- 11:32Speaker 7: god for American leadership again, thank God for American strength,
- 11:37Speaker 7: your health. And we had a national security team that
- 11:44Speaker 7: was coordinating these efforts. As Director Ratcliffe testified today, his
- 11:50Speaker 7: first day on the job, he was introduced to this
- 11:52Speaker 7: app on his government systems at the CIA and at
- 11:56Speaker 7: the State Department and otherwise. So look this journalist, mister President.
- 12:01Speaker 7: Once the world talking about more hoaxes in this kind
- 12:05Speaker 7: of nonsense, rather than the freedom that you're enabling. And
- 12:09Speaker 7: a key part of our sovereignty is open sea lanes
- 12:12Speaker 7: and knocking the crop out of terrorists, which is exactly
- 12:15Speaker 7: what your team. And Pete Hexat, a good friend and
- 12:17Speaker 7: fellow veteran, is leading the charge on.
- 12:19Speaker 5: And it's an honor orful excuse me. We had a
- 12:23Speaker 5: very very successful evening, and we've had numerous successful evenings
- 12:28Speaker 5: and days in that area. The Hoodies are absolutely on
- 12:32Speaker 5: the run. The worst of them had been killed. This
- 12:36Speaker 5: should have been done a long time ago by Biden.
- 12:39Speaker 5: But Biden was an incompetent president. He couldn't do anything.
- 12:41Speaker 5: He get in nowhere where it was going. He had
- 12:44Speaker 5: no clue. This guy had no clue. This should have
- 12:46Speaker 5: been done a long time ago. As they shoot missiles
- 12:49Speaker 5: at chips, randomly shoot missiles at chips, and they make
- 12:53Speaker 5: their own missiles. You know, this is not an incompetent
- 12:56Speaker 5: group of people. They make their own missiles. They get
- 12:58Speaker 5: the missiles also from Iran. It's an offshoot of Iran,
- 13:02Speaker 5: another offshoot. You have Hamas, you have Hesbula, you have
- 13:06Speaker 5: the Hoodies. You got a lot of stuff going on
- 13:08Speaker 5: with Iran, and we set a letter to Iran. You're
- 13:11Speaker 5: gonna have to be speaking to us one way or
- 13:13Speaker 5: the other pretty soon because we can't let this happen.
- 13:16Speaker 6: But that's an app that a lot of people use.
- 13:19Speaker 5: And somebody got on, I mean happened to know the
- 13:22Speaker 5: guy's in total sleevesberg.
- 13:23Speaker 6: The Atlantic.
- 13:24Speaker 5: The Atlantic is a failed magazine does very very poorly.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Nobody gives a damn about it. This gives it a
- 13:31Speaker 5: little bit of a shot. And I will tell you
- 13:34Speaker 5: this that they've made up more stories and they're just
- 13:39Speaker 5: a failing magazine.
- 13:40Speaker 6: The public understands that he's a very good man.
- 13:42Speaker 5: That man is a very good man right there that
- 13:44Speaker 5: you criticize so strong, he's a very good man and
- 13:50Speaker 5: he will continue to do good job. In addition to him,
- 13:55Speaker 5: we had very good people in that meeting, and those
- 13:58Speaker 5: people have done a very very effective job.
- 14:01Speaker 6: And you're can see it, and it goes on. By
- 14:03Speaker 6: the way, it's going to go.
- 14:04Speaker 5: On, and I think the hoodies wish that it didn't happen,
- 14:10Speaker 5: But that's what it's all about. We have to create
- 14:12Speaker 5: a safe country, a safe world, and that's what we're doing.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Security put it for.
- 14:17Speaker 4: A spand rem president of senior officials using signal or
- 14:22Speaker 4: the use of signal to communicate from senior officials.
- 14:26Speaker 6: I don't know anything about signal.
- 14:27Speaker 5: I wasn't involved in this, but I just turn about
- 14:29Speaker 5: it and I hear it's used by a lot of groups.
- 14:33Speaker 6: It's used by the media a lot.
- 14:35Speaker 5: It's used by a lot of the military, and I
- 14:38Speaker 5: think successfully, but sometimes somebody can get onto those things.
- 14:42Speaker 5: That's one of the prices you pay when you're not
- 14:44Speaker 5: sitting in the situation room with no phones on, which
- 14:48Speaker 5: is always the best, frankly, but you know, you you
- 14:52Speaker 5: the best is to be there. In fact, oftentimes I've
- 14:55Speaker 5: been in the infectious Last week, I was in the
- 14:57Speaker 5: situation room with something very important and we had a
- 15:00Speaker 5: couple of people hooked up by line, and I said,
- 15:03Speaker 5: cancel the line, sorry, fellas. What you do is we'll
- 15:06Speaker 5: tell you all about the meeting, because I know people
- 15:08Speaker 5: do get on those lines, whether it's signal or anything else.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Yeah, are you going to change any procedures as a
- 15:13Speaker 6: result of this.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Well, I mean, look, we look at everything, and you know,
- 15:18Speaker 5: they've made a big deal out of this because we've
- 15:20Speaker 5: had two perfect months.
- 15:21Speaker 6: We're bringing we are bringing in business.
- 15:24Speaker 5: We have another one announced tomorrow, a big one, very big,
- 15:27Speaker 5: like in the history of our country.
- 15:29Speaker 6: Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
- 15:30Speaker 5: And I think probably a lot of people are saying
- 15:33Speaker 5: it's They started by saying it was the greatest first
- 15:36Speaker 5: month that a president has ever had, and I think
- 15:39Speaker 5: that's true. And now they say it's the best second month,
- 15:42Speaker 5: and they had to find something and this certainly we'll
- 15:45Speaker 5: look at this, But the main thing was nothing happened.
- 15:49Speaker 5: The attack was totally successful. It was I guess from
- 15:53Speaker 5: what I understand, took place during and it wasn't classified information.
- 15:58Speaker 5: So this was not class of now butch classified information.
- 16:02Speaker 5: It's probably a little bit different. But I always say
- 16:04Speaker 5: you have to learn from every experience. I think it
- 16:07Speaker 5: was very unfair the way they attacked Michael. He's a
- 16:12Speaker 5: good person. The person that was on just happens to
- 16:15Speaker 5: be a Slees bag. So maybe that's just coincidence.
- 16:17Speaker 6: I don't know. I love it.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Maybe he's just you know, it's leeves bag. You can't
- 16:21Speaker 1: make it up.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Well, look, I got to say I love President Trump's
- 16:25Speaker 2: answer to this because he's very candid, he's very real.
- 16:28Speaker 2: He admits it was a screw up. It was a
- 16:30Speaker 2: mess up to add the journalist. But one of the
- 16:34Speaker 2: things that's most important is he strongly defends Mike Waltz.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Mike Waltz is Donald Trump's national security advisor. Mike is
- 16:41Speaker 2: a friend to mine. He's a very good man. Mike
- 16:45Speaker 2: is a veteran. He was in Special Forces he received
- 16:48Speaker 2: four Bronze Stars while serving combat tours in Afghanistan and
- 16:53Speaker 2: the Middle East and Africa. And he's smart, he's serious.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And I got to say, there are people who hate
- 17:00Speaker 2: President Trump that are trying to use this mess up
- 17:03Speaker 2: to attack Mike Waltz. And I was really glad the
- 17:06Speaker 2: President stood strongly with Mike Waltz. He's doing a very
- 17:10Speaker 2: good job. I had dinner with Mike just a few
- 17:12Speaker 2: weeks ago. He is a smart, serious leader focused on
- 17:18Speaker 2: defending this nation from our enemies. I also like that
- 17:21Speaker 2: the President focused on the underlying substance. Look, what we
- 17:27Speaker 2: did was a great victory for America. Joe Biden had
- 17:31Speaker 2: let four years go by of the who he's attacking,
- 17:34Speaker 2: American shipping companies, hurting American interests. And President Trump he's
- 17:39Speaker 2: been in office just over two months and he's already
- 17:41Speaker 2: standing up, taking out terrorists, fighting for American interests. That
- 17:46Speaker 2: is a huge, substant victory. I want to make another point.
- 17:51Speaker 2: There are some observers that are looking at the Trump
- 17:54Speaker 2: administration and her writing story saying the Trump administration is isaists.
- 18:01Speaker 2: They're not willing to engage and defend American interests. That
- 18:05Speaker 2: is wrong. Donald Trump is not an isolationist. America first
- 18:10Speaker 2: is not an isolationist philosophy. If you look at the
- 18:14Speaker 2: first term of President Trump, he took out General Solomoni
- 18:19Speaker 2: from Iran. That was incredibly important. General Solomoni had murdered
- 18:24Speaker 2: over six hundred American servicemen and women. He fought and
- 18:28Speaker 2: was vigorous taking out enemies of America. And it's worth
- 18:31Speaker 2: noting in the first few months of Trump's first term
- 18:35Speaker 2: he took out ISIS. ISIS had a caliphate larger than
- 18:38Speaker 2: the state of Indiana, and he utterly decimated and destroyed ISIS.
- 18:45Speaker 2: So Donald Trump his record, he is not an isolationist.
- 18:48Speaker 2: And this is a good illustration of this. The Huthies
- 18:51Speaker 2: are a proxy of Iran. They were attacking America. Joe
- 18:55Speaker 2: Biden was too weak to fight back, and Donald Trump,
- 18:58Speaker 2: in his first two months is already fighting back. And
- 19:01Speaker 2: the media wants to change the subject from the substance
- 19:05Speaker 2: of protecting America to attacks on the administration. I'm very glad.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I'm really happy with the President's defense of Mike Waltz
- 19:14Speaker 2: and the president's substance of defense of his policy defending America.
- 19:19Speaker 1: You mentioned attacks. I want to move to this other subject,
- 19:22Speaker 1: and it deals unfortunately with the issue of actual attacks
- 19:25Speaker 1: and violence coming from the Democratic Party and the crazies
- 19:30Speaker 1: within it, threatening violence not only against you, but many others,
- 19:36Speaker 1: and even mocking Texas Governor Greg Abbott. And I want
- 19:40Speaker 1: to get your reaction to that. But first I want
- 19:42Speaker 1: to tell you about Patriot Mobile. If you have a
- 19:45Speaker 1: cell phone, you need to listen to what you're missing
- 19:49Speaker 1: out on when you switch to Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile
- 19:53Speaker 1: is an it's an unbelievable company that is a Christian,
- 19:57Speaker 1: conservative wireless pro Now you may say that's great, why
- 20:03Speaker 1: should I switch, Well, it's what's happens every month when
- 20:05Speaker 1: you pay your bill. Patriot Mobile offers you a way
- 20:09Speaker 1: to vote with your wallet without compromising on quality or convenience.
- 20:13Speaker 1: And Patriot Mobile isn't just about providing exceptional cell phone service.
- 20:18Speaker 5: They do that.
- 20:18Speaker 1: It's a ten out of ten. I have Patriot Mobile.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I travel all over the country all the time, and
- 20:23Speaker 1: I get phenomenal service. Here's the best part. When I
- 20:27Speaker 1: pay my bill, this is what happens. They take a
- 20:30Speaker 1: percentage of my bill every month at no extra cost
- 20:33Speaker 1: to meet and they give it directly to groups and
- 20:36Speaker 1: organizations that support our First and our Second Amendment rights.
- 20:39Speaker 1: They also get money to groups that support the sanctity
- 20:42Speaker 1: of life, and they get money to our veterans, our
- 20:45Speaker 1: first responders, or wounded barriers. So every time you make
- 20:48Speaker 1: a call, every time you send a text, every time
- 20:51Speaker 1: you pay your bill, you're standing up for what you
- 20:54Speaker 1: believe in. Now, switching has never been easier than it
- 20:56Speaker 1: is in twenty twenty five. You can keep your number,
- 20:59Speaker 1: keep your same phone you have now are upgrade to
- 21:01Speaker 1: a new one, and they have a one hundred percent
- 21:03Speaker 1: US based customer support team that will help you find
- 21:07Speaker 1: the perfect plan for you in many times save you
- 21:09Speaker 1: big bucks. So why not save money and switch to
- 21:12Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. Go to Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict
- 21:17Speaker 1: that's Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict. Or call them nine
- 21:20Speaker 1: to seven to two Patriot and get a free month
- 21:23Speaker 1: of service with a promo code verdict that's Patriotmobile dot
- 21:27Speaker 1: com slash verdict or nine seven to Patriot use promo
- 21:32Speaker 1: code verdict for the free month of service. So all right,
- 21:35Speaker 1: so center there, there's been a lot of violence. We've
- 21:38Speaker 1: witnessed this. It's been directed towards Elon Musk. Threats against
- 21:43Speaker 1: Elon Musk threats now are expanding to Tesla dealerships. We're
- 21:47Speaker 1: finding in sinerary devices, bombs and dealership for example in Austin, Texas.
- 21:52Speaker 1: And then there's people now they're threatening you. This seems
- 21:55Speaker 1: to be the Democratic Party's playbook. Now, if there's someone
- 21:58Speaker 1: we don't like, we go out after them, We go
- 22:00Speaker 1: after their businesses. We tried to destroy what they built,
- 22:03Speaker 1: We try to financially ruin him. All of this, what
- 22:05Speaker 1: they did to Donald Trump, and we saw that the
- 22:09Speaker 1: rhetoric literally almost cost Donald Trump's life in that first
- 22:13Speaker 1: assassination attempt that actually got him. And now they don't
- 22:17Speaker 1: seem to be backing down at all.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Well, the Democrats today are the party of rage, the
- 22:22Speaker 2: party of anger. And I will say there's a house
- 22:25Speaker 2: member in Texas, Jasmine Crockett, who this week has been
- 22:29Speaker 2: a rough week for she has been unhinged. She has
- 22:34Speaker 2: called for violence against me. She has denigrated and mocked
- 22:39Speaker 2: Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, because he is in
- 22:41Speaker 2: a wheel wheelchair, because he has a disability. And it
- 22:45Speaker 2: really does show who today's Democrats are. And I want
- 22:49Speaker 2: you to listen to what she said first about me
- 22:52Speaker 2: and then about Greg Abbott. Give a listen, just in case.
- 23:01Speaker 4: The slow people listening decide to click this up later.
- 23:05Speaker 4: I just want to say that I have never promoted
- 23:08Speaker 4: violence whatsoever.
- 23:09Speaker 3: I think that you punch.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I think you punch.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I think you're okay with you okay with punching.
- 23:15Speaker 4: You know, I think, and I love Colin, and I
- 23:18Speaker 4: think towards the end he started to punch a little harder.
- 23:21Speaker 6: But like it's sad ruse.
- 23:23Speaker 4: I mean, like this dude has to be knocks over
- 23:25Speaker 4: the head like hard, right, Like there is no niceties
- 23:29Speaker 4: with him, like at all, Like you go clean off
- 23:32Speaker 4: on him, right.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I hear that, and I just shake my head center
- 23:38Speaker 1: Because of course, when the fire is of the spotlight
- 23:42Speaker 1: is on her, she's like, oh, I've never called for violence,
- 23:45Speaker 1: And then you play the clip right there, it's very
- 23:48Speaker 1: clear what she's saying.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Look, I gotta admit I've never met this woman, Jasmine Crockett.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I don't know her. She's a new congresswoman from Texas.
- 23:59Speaker 2: She seems really angry, she seems really radical. She seems
- 24:03Speaker 2: to be the darling of the radical left because she
- 24:06Speaker 2: calls for crazy things I will tell you, Look, I've
- 24:09Speaker 2: been this Senate thirteen years. One of it's an incredible privilege.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I'm blessed. I jump out of bed every day excited
- 24:18Speaker 2: because I get to fight for Texas, I get to
- 24:20Speaker 2: fight for America. I will tell you one of the
- 24:23Speaker 2: downsides of this job. I have literally hundreds of death
- 24:27Speaker 2: threats against me.
- 24:29Speaker 1: And by the way, I'm going to be clear, you
- 24:31Speaker 1: and I we spend a lot of time together. We travel.
- 24:34Speaker 1: There are a lot of people that come up and encourage.
- 24:36Speaker 1: But man, some of the things that people say. And
- 24:40Speaker 1: I've had the threats, not like you've had threats, but
- 24:44Speaker 1: it's like part of the business now. Which is the
- 24:46Speaker 1: worst part about it is that if you're in politics
- 24:49Speaker 1: and you're conservative, there are people that want you to
- 24:51Speaker 1: die and come after you. But you and I we
- 24:53Speaker 1: went to a game and people are screaming the F
- 24:57Speaker 1: bomb in front of your daughter who was with thus,
- 25:00Speaker 1: And there was several times that happened, and it's like
- 25:03Speaker 1: there is no just like, you're a dad in that moment,
- 25:06Speaker 1: you're a father. I'm a dad when I'm out my
- 25:08Speaker 1: son and someone get to my face to the HGB
- 25:11Speaker 1: and start screaming exers at me in a cereal io.
- 25:13Speaker 1: It's like, what is wrong with these people? And yet
- 25:16Speaker 1: it seems to be getting.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Worse not better. Yeah, look, there are a lot of
- 25:20Speaker 2: people that are just unhinged and filled with hate. And
- 25:24Speaker 2: I'll tell you, look, I'll vivian encouragement. Listen, the folks
- 25:28Speaker 2: that listen to verdict, you guys are amazing. I'm so
- 25:30Speaker 2: grateful for you. You're incredibly engaged and you're passionate, and
- 25:34Speaker 2: you're fighting to save this country. I will tell you,
- 25:37Speaker 2: when I travel around, the ratio of positive to negative comments,
- 25:44Speaker 2: it is more than ninety percent positive. It's probably ninety
- 25:47Speaker 2: five percent or even ninety eight percent positive. So it's encouraging.
- 25:51Speaker 2: When I'm out at airport, when I'm out at a
- 25:53Speaker 2: shopping mall, people say nice things. They say thank you,
- 25:56Speaker 2: they say that I appreciate you, and that's gratifying that
- 25:59Speaker 2: that makes me. There are regularly people who don't and
- 26:04Speaker 2: and people on the left. Now, I got to say
- 26:07Speaker 2: many of them on the left, when they say something negative,
- 26:10Speaker 2: they'll like screw up their courage that they'll run up
- 26:13Speaker 2: and they'll go f you and they'll just like yell
- 26:16Speaker 2: at me, and it's very funny. It's like, Wow, you
- 26:21Speaker 2: spent a long time thinking about that, and that was
- 26:24Speaker 2: the best you could come up with. That was very clever.
- 26:28Speaker 2: And my standard response, and unfortunately it happens often enough
- 26:33Speaker 2: that I have to have a standard response. My standard
- 26:36Speaker 2: response is I say God bless you. And I got
- 26:39Speaker 2: to tell you, it infuriates them. And you know, there's
- 26:43Speaker 2: a principle in the Bible that if you repay hatred
- 26:48Speaker 2: with kindness, that it is like piling hot coals on
- 26:52Speaker 2: their heads. So I'll say God bless you, and I'll smile,
- 26:55Speaker 2: I'll be very happy, like when they say f you
- 26:58Speaker 2: have my response is God bless you. And there was
- 27:01Speaker 2: one time in Houston where this this like liberal woman
- 27:05Speaker 2: screamed F you and I said God bless you. And
- 27:07Speaker 2: she's like, I don't want your God's love and I
- 27:12Speaker 2: said that's okay, Jesus loves you anyway. And it drove
- 27:16Speaker 2: her nuts, like like she almost had an aneurysm when
- 27:20Speaker 2: I said that. And I try to be smiling and
- 27:25Speaker 2: show a contrast. And I will say, just a couple
- 27:29Speaker 2: of days ago, I had a young woman who was
- 27:32Speaker 2: screaming F you, and I did say something to the
- 27:36Speaker 2: effect of your very charming, your mother, but it must
- 27:38Speaker 2: be very proud. How'd that turn out?
- 27:42Speaker 6: Oh?
- 27:42Speaker 2: She just stormed off. And I'm sure as she was
- 27:45Speaker 2: driving home she's thought of fifty different responses, but she
- 27:48Speaker 2: didn't say any of them. She's just like, yeah, I
- 27:51Speaker 2: randomly scream f you at people at the airport. I'm
- 27:54Speaker 2: a great person. But listen when you have people on
- 27:59Speaker 2: the left, and listen, Jasmine is saying you need to
- 28:02Speaker 2: hit him in the head and hit him really hard.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I'll be honest, Ben, I really hope someone doesn't hit
- 28:07Speaker 2: me in the head really hard, like like I would
- 28:09Speaker 2: prefer not to have my brains bashed in.
- 28:11Speaker 1: This is the part where I think it's a bigger
- 28:14Speaker 1: issue that concerns me. It's the dog whistles that come
- 28:18Speaker 1: from the leaders. Hit by the way Democratic Party, Donald
- 28:21Speaker 1: Trump push in your face.
- 28:22Speaker 2: You had two assassins who tried to kill him. Yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 2: we've got Democrats who are firebombing Tesla and radical leftists
- 28:30Speaker 2: and no Democrat is condemning it. They are calling for violence.
- 28:34Speaker 2: These are the same people that had Antifa and Black
- 28:36Speaker 2: Lives Matter riots and and and so the threat of
- 28:40Speaker 2: violence is very real. We had at the at the
- 28:43Speaker 2: baseball practice, we had a radical leftist, a Bernie Sanders supporter,
- 28:47Speaker 2: who came and said, he asked someone, Hey, are those
- 28:49Speaker 2: Republicans there? They said yes, and he came with a
- 28:52Speaker 2: rifle and shot people and and had It was pure
- 28:56Speaker 2: happenstance that Steve Scalise, who was a member of House Leadership,
- 29:01Speaker 2: was there because he had a security detail, and that
- 29:04Speaker 2: security detail shot and killed this radical leftist. If let's
- 29:10Speaker 2: say Scalice had been ten minutes late that morning, let's
- 29:13Speaker 2: say he'd been delayed, he'd been taking his kids to school,
- 29:16Speaker 2: he'd been doing something else, and he was delayed, that
- 29:19Speaker 2: radical leftist would have murdered over a dozen House members
- 29:23Speaker 2: and two US senators. We came incredibly close to a
- 29:28Speaker 2: massacre because of the active solicitation of violence. And let
- 29:33Speaker 2: me be clear, this is on one side the leftist
- 29:36Speaker 2: calling for violence. I categorically opposed violence. I don't want
- 29:41Speaker 2: anyone to engage in violence against leftists. I'm not calling
- 29:45Speaker 2: for this nutcase Jasmine Crockett to face the violence. No, no, no, Now,
- 29:50Speaker 2: I think her views are anathema and I want you
- 29:52Speaker 2: to play what she said like a day or two later,
- 29:56Speaker 2: attacking Greg Abbott because it is equally noxious. Listen to this.
- 30:01Speaker 3: We in these hot ass Texas streets, Honey, y'all know
- 30:08Speaker 3: we got governor hot wheels down there, Come on now,
- 30:13Speaker 3: and the only.
- 30:14Speaker 6: Thing hot about him is that he is a.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Hot ass mess honey.
- 30:18Speaker 3: So so yes, yes, yes.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yes, I mean you listen to that. It's like, one,
- 30:28Speaker 1: what do you think is going to come of that?
- 30:30Speaker 1: The other thing is the backdrop behind her is she's
- 30:33Speaker 1: literally speaking at the Human Rights Campaign and that's what
- 30:37Speaker 1: she's preaching and people are laughing and clapping as she's
- 30:41Speaker 1: on stage four again.
- 30:42Speaker 2: But by the way, baby, do you do you know
- 30:44Speaker 2: why Greg Abbott is in a wheelchair?
- 30:47Speaker 1: Yeah? It was, if I remember the story correctly, he
- 30:49Speaker 1: was running at the park and a random tree limb
- 30:52Speaker 1: fell on his head and paralyzed.
- 30:55Speaker 2: It broke us back. And I'll tell you I worked
- 30:57Speaker 2: for him five and a half years. Greg Abbott is
- 30:59Speaker 2: a dear friend. He's been a boss, a mentor, and
- 31:03Speaker 2: he would tell a joke, Like when I first went
- 31:05Speaker 2: to work for him, he would tell a joke. He'd
- 31:08Speaker 2: get up and say, Okay, I know what you're thinking.
- 31:10Speaker 2: How slow was that guy running to get hit by
- 31:13Speaker 2: a tree? And like the first time he jokes about it,
- 31:18Speaker 2: you're not sure what to say, Like, wait, am I
- 31:20Speaker 2: allowed to laugh about it? And he would, he would
- 31:23Speaker 2: tell jokes about it, and you could be like, Okay,
- 31:25Speaker 2: I mean, I guess if you can joke about it,
- 31:27Speaker 2: I can laugh about it. But you know, it was tragic.
- 31:31Speaker 2: And he's been paralyzed for twenty plus maybe thirty plus years,
- 31:36Speaker 2: a long time in a wheelchair. And she's sitting there
- 31:39Speaker 2: at supposedly the Human Rights Campaign. Now it's a leftist
- 31:42Speaker 2: radical group that is obsessed with LGBT. I mean, that's
- 31:47Speaker 2: really what they exist. But they're cheering, yes, Governor hot wheels,
- 31:52Speaker 2: he's disabled in a wheelchair?
- 31:54Speaker 6: Ha ha.
- 31:56Speaker 2: What the hell's wrong with these people? I mean that
- 31:59Speaker 2: is that is nasty and hateful and it's who's today's
- 32:04Speaker 2: Democrat party is.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is, which brings me to a final
- 32:10Speaker 1: thing I want to talk about with you, and this
- 32:12Speaker 1: is one of those. It seems like this used to
- 32:17Speaker 1: be more effective dividing the country. That's what I think Crockett,
- 32:23Speaker 1: for example, loves to do. We divide and then hopefully
- 32:27Speaker 1: I can conquer by division, and that doesn't seem to
- 32:31Speaker 1: be working now with the American people. That's why it
- 32:35Speaker 1: seems like the president I think truly has a majority
- 32:37Speaker 1: support on virtually every issue that he's talking about right now,
- 32:42Speaker 1: an overwhelming support sixty five seventy five percent approval ratings
- 32:47Speaker 1: in certain categories. Because the Democratic Party does seem to
- 32:50Speaker 1: be floundering, and I'm talking about the entire party. I
- 32:54Speaker 1: think part of that is because the Democratic Party isn't
- 32:57Speaker 1: really a Democratic party anymore. They're Marxists and socialists and
- 33:00Speaker 1: communists masquerading around and so now people are looking at
- 33:04Speaker 1: him for what they are.
- 33:06Speaker 2: And Ben, You're not the only person making that point.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I'm not the only person making that point. Just this week,
- 33:12Speaker 2: there was an article in Axios and Axios may be
- 33:15Speaker 2: the sort of most insidery Washington d C. Swampy media
- 33:21Speaker 2: outlet there is, and the lead reporters there, Jim Vanderheind
- 33:26Speaker 2: Mike Allen. They write a column that is really worth
- 33:30Speaker 2: reading because it's astonishing. It is entitled behind the Curtain
- 33:35Speaker 2: DEM's dark, deep Hole, and here's what they write. They say,
- 33:42Speaker 2: top Democrats tell us their party is in its deepest
- 33:45Speaker 2: toll in nearly fifty years, and they fear things could
- 33:50Speaker 2: actually get worse, and they lay out a series of
- 33:53Speaker 2: bullet points. The party has its lowest favorability ever, no
- 34:00Speaker 2: popular national leader to help improve it, insufficient numbers to
- 34:04Speaker 2: stop most legislation in Congress, a durable minority on the
- 34:09Speaker 2: Supreme Court, dwindling influence over the media ecosystem with right
- 34:15Speaker 2: wing with right leaning podcasters like Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson,
- 34:21Speaker 2: I may be adding that to which I say, and
- 34:25Speaker 2: social media accounts ascendant, and that clearly is about verdict
- 34:29Speaker 2: with Ted Cruz and all of our incredible listeners. Another bulletpoint,
- 34:34Speaker 2: young voters are growing dramatically more conservative. A bad twenty
- 34:40Speaker 2: twenty six map for Senate races. Democratic Senate retirements could
- 34:45Speaker 2: make it harder for the party to flip the House.
- 34:48Speaker 2: With members tempted by statewide races. There are only three
- 34:54Speaker 2: House Republicans in districts former Vice President Harris I in
- 35:00Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, a dim signed for a Democratic surge.
- 35:06Speaker 2: There were twenty three eight years ago in seats Hillary
- 35:11Speaker 2: Clinton won, and thanks to the number of people fleeing
- 35:17Speaker 2: blue states, the math for a DEM to win the
- 35:20Speaker 2: presidency will just get harder in twenty thirty. Amen. Amen, Amen,
- 35:28Speaker 2: Amen to that.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Don't forget. We do this show Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
