- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubbings, not me through good
- 0:20Speaker 1: it sting together for I don't join Jo. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: do that. Turn you you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you got to turn them out, the turn, turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your fad
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh, I'm sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay, here's
- 2:19Speaker 1: what I want to share with you. Stop complaining. So
- 2:29Speaker 1: I had to let you see how I let that
- 2:30Speaker 1: one sit for a second. Stop complaining. Do you realize
- 2:40Speaker 1: without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we just complain
- 2:45Speaker 1: about stuff and it comes up in such subtle forms. Man,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't know why they're still letting that lady work there. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: If they don't fire this woman, man, I don't know
- 2:58Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. She drive me crazy. She always
- 3:03Speaker 1: got something to say. I bet to day though, the
- 3:09Speaker 1: way I'm feeling right now, I bet she'd been not
- 3:11Speaker 1: saying nothing to me today. M Yeah, yeah, because day,
- 3:17Speaker 1: it today it I'm sick of her running her mouth.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Last time she says something to me, I should have
- 3:25Speaker 1: said something to it. You know what I'm saying. I'm
- 3:28Speaker 1: just giving you a small example of how it starts
- 3:31Speaker 1: to snowball once you start to complain. It's it just
- 3:38Speaker 1: carries over into so many things. Man, Stop complaining about
- 3:42Speaker 1: your call, Stop complaining about your bus pass, Stop complaining
- 3:45Speaker 1: about your kids can't seem to get it together, Stop
- 3:49Speaker 1: complaining about your man can't seem to get it together.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Stop complaining. Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking, have
- 3:59Speaker 1: you oldest that in all of your complaining, it has
- 4:04Speaker 1: provided not one solution. The reason I'm telling you to
- 4:09Speaker 1: stop complaining because God is able, Because God is capable.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He is capable and able of fixing anything, capable and
- 4:25Speaker 1: able of curing anything, capable and able of allowing you
- 4:32Speaker 1: to get too adjusting to things, and capable and able
- 4:39Speaker 1: to strengthen you to get through and change anything. But
- 4:46Speaker 1: the key here is God is capable, and God is able.
- 4:51Speaker 1: A lot of times I find myself complaining because I
- 4:56Speaker 1: have not used my greatest asset, and that's my relationship
- 5:01Speaker 1: with God. You all have one now you may not
- 5:04Speaker 1: have nurtured it, but you have one because God created
- 5:07Speaker 1: you as his child. He's available to you now. The
- 5:10Speaker 1: fact that you ain't went to him. Okay, once again,
- 5:14Speaker 1: who fathers that? Stop complaining until you strengthen your relationship
- 5:21Speaker 1: with God and formulate this relationship. You don't have enough weapons.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You ain't got a big enough shield to fight this
- 5:33Speaker 1: thing called life. It just keeps coming. Man, And unless
- 5:37Speaker 1: you develop a relationship with God, you need a partner
- 5:40Speaker 1: in all of this. Maybe you got another route you're
- 5:44Speaker 1: gonna take. But every successful person I know personally has
- 5:52Speaker 1: a relationship with God. I have some really really some
- 6:00Speaker 1: people that's kind of up there in the success term
- 6:02Speaker 1: in terms of business and money and statue. I'm just
- 6:07Speaker 1: talking about that portion of success. And then I have
- 6:09Speaker 1: a lot of people who are very successful in their
- 6:13Speaker 1: spiritual life, who have become great men of God and
- 6:17Speaker 1: women of God. But look at all of them, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: all of them have substantial amounts of you know, possessions
- 6:27Speaker 1: and things like that. Also, most successful people I know
- 6:32Speaker 1: have that even if you saw them never with a
- 6:36Speaker 1: big lot of house and a lot of money or
- 6:38Speaker 1: stuff like that, they had so much respect, so much love,
- 6:45Speaker 1: so much power was given them from people that their
- 6:50Speaker 1: life was rich in that area, you know, like a
- 6:54Speaker 1: man Nu the King or something like that, or Gandhi
- 6:57Speaker 1: or somebody who lived their life and serve so or
- 7:00Speaker 1: Nelson Mandela who came out and just man, people put
- 7:04Speaker 1: stuff at their feet because of their service. So all
- 7:06Speaker 1: successful people I know have that, Every last one of
- 7:09Speaker 1: these people that I know, they have relationship with God.
- 7:14Speaker 1: They used the tool that was available to them to
- 7:18Speaker 1: give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows, the slings,
- 7:22Speaker 1: the shield to fight this thing called life and have
- 7:26Speaker 1: the most valuable partner right there by their side. They
- 7:28Speaker 1: heavily father God, because he will help you get through
- 7:31Speaker 1: this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a
- 7:37Speaker 1: favor and strengthen your relationship with God? Man, why can
- 7:41Speaker 1: I never get over? Well you have not because you
- 7:44Speaker 1: ask not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 7:47Speaker 1: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 7:49Speaker 1: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 7:52Speaker 1: your own thought process. Who are you? I keep telling you, Man,
- 7:56Speaker 1: you're going through stuff. You ain't got no business going
- 7:58Speaker 1: through and if it's you going through something over and
- 8:03Speaker 1: over and over and over and the same problem keep
- 8:06Speaker 1: coming back to bite you again, all that's saying is
- 8:10Speaker 1: you still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. It's your relationship.
- 8:14Speaker 1: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:17Speaker 1: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:20Speaker 1: when you invite him in. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 1: invite him men, they have a distinct advantage on their
- 8:28Speaker 1: road to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it
- 8:33Speaker 1: without him, Trust me, you can. How far you get.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I can't promise you nothing, how well you handle it
- 8:40Speaker 1: when you arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how
- 8:44Speaker 1: long you're gonna stay there. I can't promise you nothing.
- 8:48Speaker 1: How difficult it's going to be without him. I can't
- 8:51Speaker 1: give you that. It's going to be far more difficult.
- 8:55Speaker 1: But you can. Something can happen, and you know, receive
- 8:58Speaker 1: a measure of success. And you think because you and
- 9:01Speaker 1: this move you made, and you can describe it as
- 9:03Speaker 1: I got lucky. I happened to be in the right
- 9:06Speaker 1: place at the right time. I got lucky. Lucky is
- 9:10Speaker 1: usually how other people describe other people's success. Poor. He
- 9:14Speaker 1: was lucky. He was right there. Well, let me tell
- 9:16Speaker 1: you what lucky is. Luck is when hard work bumps
- 9:19Speaker 1: up into opportunity. If you've been working hard as something,
- 9:23Speaker 1: an opportunity presents itself that comes a match. That's not luck.
- 9:28Speaker 1: But now, if you haven't done that on a repetitive
- 9:31Speaker 1: enough basis, that opportunity could present itself one time. You
- 9:37Speaker 1: got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And if you're a chronic complainer, it's because you really
- 9:47Speaker 1: really have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll smooth
- 9:50Speaker 1: it out for you. That I can tell you for
- 9:52Speaker 1: a fact. I know that for a fact he smoved
- 9:55Speaker 1: mine out. All right, let's go. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Today it's going to be different. I have decided, without
- 10:09Speaker 1: conferring with anyone, that today would be a day. Well
- 10:14Speaker 1: come on, wow, every day think that this? No should
- 10:22Speaker 1: not like every watch this, watch this what a fool
- 10:33Speaker 1: but nothing high front and waiting. Hey ladies, hello, Steve,
- 10:41Speaker 1: stay out the way you try to control it. Do
- 10:47Speaker 1: your best? All right, Well, let's okay. Well then if
- 10:52Speaker 1: this is going to be a different day of ignorance,
- 10:54Speaker 1: let's have it. Don't back up now, don't back down now. Okay,
- 10:58Speaker 1: what you need. Let's start with any question you want
- 11:00Speaker 1: to ask me. Let's just get this started right now.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Any question you want to ask me. This can carry
- 11:06Speaker 1: over into six thirty four. These are all ignorant, non
- 11:11Speaker 1: responsible answers. Oh, okay, tell junior, I don't just but
- 11:18Speaker 1: tell junior. You can see how fat you are the
- 11:23Speaker 1: most when you are wiping your backside. That's when the
- 11:29Speaker 1: most of your fat leans forward and you're able to
- 11:33Speaker 1: really see how much fat really is you. So you
- 11:39Speaker 1: still so you still reaching behind yourself. Yes, you re
- 11:44Speaker 1: back So that's how we're still okay, all right, all
- 11:51Speaker 1: right now you're still jamming your hand down the back
- 11:54Speaker 1: of the level of ignorance. Okay, you win? Oh that
- 12:03Speaker 1: were you the fattest that? I didn't think. I didn't
- 12:09Speaker 1: think you can talk yourselves. I really didn't. But man,
- 12:12Speaker 1: oh man, you gotta put your hand on the wall
- 12:16Speaker 1: in front of It's early, guys, it's early in the morning. Yeah,

- 22:09Speaker 1: My rate is twenty five dollars per hour, but one
- 22:11Speaker 1: of my older female students offered to double it if
- 22:14Speaker 1: I worked with her face to face. I agreed and
- 22:17Speaker 1: went to her house for the first session, and it
- 22:20Speaker 1: was obvious that she wanted more than tutoring. She said
- 22:23Speaker 1: that her husband lives out of states, so she had
- 22:25Speaker 1: plenty of extra time for tutoring. I see her three
- 22:29Speaker 1: times a week, and she pays me one hundred dollars
- 22:31Speaker 1: an hour. Now I know this is wrong, but the
- 22:34Speaker 1: money is good, and so is the sex. What should
- 22:37Speaker 1: I do? I don't see what you see. Oh you
- 22:47Speaker 1: mayan one hundred dollars an hour and your tutor, but
- 22:51Speaker 1: what's what's you know? Excuse me inside mind outside for him. Sorry,

- 23:42Speaker 1: Kiki and Lafiatte Louisiana Steve says, I'm a forty one
- 23:46Speaker 1: year old woman dating a fifty three year old man
- 23:48Speaker 1: and we've been quarantined together for months, and I'm sick
- 23:52Speaker 1: of having sex with him. I need something different. But
- 23:55Speaker 1: I never cheated. I've never cheated. I want to have
- 23:58Speaker 1: sex with my ex boyfriend, and he is ready and willing.
- 24:01Speaker 1: He was such a good lover, so I'm sure if
- 24:05Speaker 1: I get a little something different than what I've been getting,
- 24:08Speaker 1: my problem will be solved. I think it will help
- 24:11Speaker 1: me deal with my man. Is it okay to take
- 24:13Speaker 1: a break from my man and have sex with my
- 24:15Speaker 1: ex just once? Oh? Yeah? Well, if you think it's
- 24:18Speaker 1: gonna be just one you're sadly mistaken. That's not how
- 24:22Speaker 1: it works, right. Sex is like ladies. Yes, oh you
- 24:27Speaker 1: can't just that's just like ladies. You can't. Wow, you
- 24:34Speaker 1: know what I I mean times, I don't say it that.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Let me tell you. Let me tell you said, it's
- 24:40Speaker 1: our last time, boy, this is our last one. After
- 24:47Speaker 1: it is this eat, we ain't gonna do it. No,
- 24:49Speaker 1: understand how you feel. I'm on at that. This one's
- 24:57Speaker 1: from Chantey and Philly. Chanta says, I'm a twenty nine
- 25:01Speaker 1: year old woman and I've had it with my current boyfriend.
- 25:04Speaker 1: We've been together for four months and started having sex recently.
- 25:09Speaker 1: The sex is awesome, but he is so annoying when
- 25:12Speaker 1: we are having sex. He cannot stop talking and he
- 25:15Speaker 1: loves to ask questions the entire time. All I hear
- 25:19Speaker 1: is do you like it when I do that? All
- 25:23Speaker 1: I need is for him to handle his business. It's
- 25:26Speaker 1: all I need for him to do. And just moan
- 25:28Speaker 1: handle your business and moan that is it? How can
- 25:31Speaker 1: I get him to stop being so corny? That corny.
- 25:38Speaker 1: She's twenty nine. She calls it corny corny. Let me
- 25:41Speaker 1: see what could he be saying? Okay, here we go,
- 25:45Speaker 1: here we go. I'm doing it good, ain't No, I'm
- 25:54Speaker 1: a goodie goody the entire time. Girl, You know what?
- 26:00Speaker 1: They call me? Good and plenty that's corny mad. I like, girl,
- 26:07Speaker 1: your love is like candy. I want it nine in later.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Corn Ball for girl. Listen, ain't better than the baby roof.
- 26:21Speaker 1: You're my baby, You're my little roof. Yeah, all these
- 26:28Speaker 1: tricks I'm doing, this's like this like bowler skittles joke.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Shut your corny ass, you know yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm
- 26:39Speaker 1: corning like corn candy. When you just shut up, undle
- 26:45Speaker 1: your business said, get through. She says, this is going
- 26:49Speaker 1: on the entire time. Girl, girl, girl, you know what
- 26:52Speaker 1: I say. I'm like Rick James. I'm in love with
- 26:55Speaker 1: Mary Jane. I I'm funny. Do it. He can't take it? Yeah,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I can't get enough of this kid cat ball like stop,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I'm home enjoy Sometimes you feel the blank, girl, But
- 27:24Speaker 1: I wanted to go back to the forty year old
- 27:26Speaker 1: woman and the fifty three old man. She said, he's
- 27:29Speaker 1: a good lover. But she wants to go back to
- 27:31Speaker 1: her ex boyfriend sometimes. And is that okay to have
- 27:34Speaker 1: sex with her ex? You want to have sex with
- 27:36Speaker 1: your ex boyfriend, you you're gonna so you don't forget
- 27:39Speaker 1: why he's your ex. You're gonna repeat that. And you're
- 27:42Speaker 1: in the relationship with a man that you can't stand
- 27:44Speaker 1: and have sex with, so you're just gonna keep making
- 27:48Speaker 1: bad decisions. Yeah, all right, that's it all the time
- 27:51Speaker 1: we have for Cello today, Steve, thank you you're listening
- 27:55Speaker 1: to show. Well. Americans may not take all their vacation days.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Everybody on this show can can agree to that. Example,
- 28:06Speaker 1: one person, I'm not talking about you this time. Okay,
- 28:12Speaker 1: Oh no, Sere, Yeah, yeah, you ain't doing that. You
- 28:21Speaker 1: let me hear it. A week, vacation days, sick days,
- 28:25Speaker 1: whatever he could take off, he does it? Is he
- 28:28Speaker 1: sick on the sick days? Uh? This golf week? Yeah, no,
- 28:34Speaker 1: we're talking about you. Americans may not take all their
- 28:38Speaker 1: vacation days, but that does not mean that we don't
- 28:41Speaker 1: spend a lot of time thinking about those vacation days.
- 28:44Speaker 1: New research revealed that Americans spend about two hundred and
- 28:47Speaker 1: eighty four days of their life dreaming about being on vacation,
- 28:52Speaker 1: and we spend more than that's a lot of time.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Then we spend more than one hundred and thirteen hours
- 28:57Speaker 1: every year thinking about being on a beach somewhere and
- 29:01Speaker 1: your vacation picks on social media. People don't like those.
- 29:06Speaker 1: They do not stop up. Yes, yes, yes, they make
- 29:10Speaker 1: people jealous. They bring out that their food. The study
- 29:16Speaker 1: found that every day the average person sees vacation pictures
- 29:19Speaker 1: on social media. That makes them mad. Okay, that's probably why. Yeah,
- 29:25Speaker 1: I knows, uh huh, nobody cares. That's probably why thirty
- 29:30Speaker 1: six percent of Americans admit they put those vacation picks
- 29:33Speaker 1: on social media to show people just how great their
- 29:36Speaker 1: lives are. So, Steve, you and your wife Marjorie take
- 29:40Speaker 1: wonderful vacation. You and we know you guys ball till
- 29:45Speaker 1: you fall when you go on vacation. But we what
- 29:47Speaker 1: we want to know is how do you vacation on
- 29:49Speaker 1: a budget? Before you got to where you are? Now,
- 29:51Speaker 1: how did you do? Well? I just need to know
- 29:53Speaker 1: you know how much we're talking about? If you tell
- 29:55Speaker 1: me what the budget is? Okay, yeah, things I can recommend.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Let's do two thousand dollars, two thousand dollars for a
- 30:04Speaker 1: family of four four okay, bad? Yeah, well, we ain't
- 30:18Speaker 1: going nowhere. What what do you sounding like that? Okay?
- 30:21Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Let me change. Yeah, we're
- 30:23Speaker 1: gonna have to drive somewhere. We have to make the
- 30:26Speaker 1: gas budget be the how much Okay, let me how
- 30:30Speaker 1: much it costs phillip at the average tank right now.
- 30:37Speaker 1: So we need we need to stay one gas tan't
- 30:40Speaker 1: going and one gas tan't coming. We're talking about one
- 30:43Speaker 1: hundred and twenty dollars out the budget. You know, man,
- 30:46Speaker 1: we gotta stay within one tank. So we're talking about
- 30:50Speaker 1: it's got to be within three hundred miles. Now if
- 30:54Speaker 1: we're gonna stay overnight, we gotta get in economically. Fees
- 30:59Speaker 1: of accommodation. Okay, these are stuff like comfort In sweets
- 31:06Speaker 1: that reason you I would recommend comfort In because they
- 31:10Speaker 1: had a free breakfast. See that's saved money now, you know.
- 31:13Speaker 1: And they got free Wi Fi. So you gotta gotta
- 31:16Speaker 1: take this consideration. And if you stay at comfort In,
- 31:19Speaker 1: you get points. I'm just working with this two thousand.
- 31:21Speaker 1: So everybody's room at fifty dollars a night. Would you
- 31:24Speaker 1: say that's fast sixty? So you need just two rooms
- 31:28Speaker 1: for the kids, you and your wife and one for
- 31:29Speaker 1: the kids with a connected dough and lead a damn dough. Yeah,
- 31:34Speaker 1: so they don't burn that damn hotel down. And then
- 31:37Speaker 1: you got other issues. So we got two rooms that
- 31:42Speaker 1: let's say seventy dollars five dollars a night. That's one
- 31:45Speaker 1: hundred and fifty two nights. We're looking at three hundred
- 31:48Speaker 1: dollars in rooms. How many nights we're gonna do two
- 31:51Speaker 1: nights only, Well, I'm trying to I'm trying to get
- 31:53Speaker 1: it together. First, we got to stay somewhere. We're gonna
- 31:56Speaker 1: do three fifty four rooms, and we got one hundred
- 31:59Speaker 1: and twenty on gas. We are about five fifty fifty
- 32:02Speaker 1: something like that. He all right, now we got let's
- 32:06Speaker 1: just say we got fifteen hundred left. Okay, okay, that's
- 32:10Speaker 1: a nice amount of money. Did we eat? Get We
- 32:16Speaker 1: should make some sandwich? Yeah, a pack of cooler full
- 32:20Speaker 1: of sandwich because you're driving. But make sandwiches that stick,
- 32:24Speaker 1: peanut butter and jelly sam being a whole lot of ham.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Now peanut butter and jelly sandwiches permental spread sandwich. Look
- 32:36Speaker 1: about to give a damn what you don't want this
- 32:38Speaker 1: all we got to eat hark skins and water. You
- 32:48Speaker 1: gotta get something in you that swear, puk skins and water.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I'm familiar with all this. Just what we got hot
- 32:57Speaker 1: blood pressed by the time we take bagging and punched
- 33:00Speaker 1: and drank a bottle of water. You ain't even gonna
- 33:02Speaker 1: know your hut. Damn that at least they quick crime.
- 33:10Speaker 1: All right, now we got us a little something to eat.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Kids have stopped up the hospital on the go. We
- 33:24Speaker 1: gotta have some kind of activities now. Now we're going
- 33:27Speaker 1: to six Flags with a day pass for everybody, or
- 33:31Speaker 1: we're going to the zoo where you can really entertain
- 33:35Speaker 1: kids and keep it on the budget. All We're going
- 33:40Speaker 1: to a state park. Okay, nice, pull up at it
- 33:44Speaker 1: where we can barbecue out there and just let the
- 33:47Speaker 1: kids run till they drop in open field, and you
- 33:52Speaker 1: gotta put your grill. What you only gonna stay there
- 33:55Speaker 1: and watch well on the other side, away from the car.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Then you run your kids to the car to get
- 34:00Speaker 1: stuff that helps zap the energy out of their hand
- 34:05Speaker 1: and to give them something to do. You can see
- 34:07Speaker 1: the car from your barbecue grill, but it way across
- 34:10Speaker 1: the field. Send the ass back and forth across that
- 34:13Speaker 1: field by six trips, and every time you send them,
- 34:17Speaker 1: say hell for this dog, I know how to love you.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Thank you having fun because you're running in that field.
- 34:29Speaker 1: The third trip back, they answered, walking, I said, he
- 34:36Speaker 1: walking forward me pushing responsibility. Only we gotta go. You're
- 34:43Speaker 1: listening show? All right? Here we go junior year up,
- 34:50Speaker 1: Hey morning everybody. Man. Let me just tell the truth
- 34:54Speaker 1: right now. And I'm just meaning. I don't mean this
- 34:55Speaker 1: dispecting nobody in here. I love all y'all, now, I
- 34:58Speaker 1: really do, but I wasn't want to let y'all know something. Man,
- 35:02Speaker 1: truth be told. I won't be related to Steve for real?
- 35:06Speaker 1: What's wrong? No? Because I ain't got no money in
- 35:09Speaker 1: my family. You don't I need somebody else beside me money?
- 35:13Speaker 1: And I just found an over vacation uncle, Steve. Boy,
- 35:18Speaker 1: do you even looking to me? Do you know how
- 35:20Speaker 1: much your uncle worth? Yea? How much? I'm not gonna
- 35:25Speaker 1: throw the number that But I actually no, No, I
- 35:27Speaker 1: don't know this. Yeah, but we've been working with him
- 35:30Speaker 1: every day. Y'all are so disrespectful. Man. Did I google him? Uh? What? That? Man?
- 35:40Speaker 1: We supposed to treat him different? Yes? No, because he
- 35:45Speaker 1: ain't broke people you treat better than him. Oh No,
- 35:49Speaker 1: I gotta ain't it. I swear I never talked to
- 35:51Speaker 1: the same No, No, not a long as I know.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Steve ain't hill. If you don't get your broke ass
- 35:58Speaker 1: away from me. No, No, I'm tired. I'm tired all
- 36:04Speaker 1: the pro people I got to be nice to a
- 36:05Speaker 1: hid On Steven. We treat him like he ain't worth
- 36:07Speaker 1: doing this. Man, he could change our generation. We treat
- 36:10Speaker 1: him regularly, treat him like I don't want to treat him. Regor,
- 36:14Speaker 1: I love you. Now. If you see me giving him
- 36:18Speaker 1: all the problem, I'll tell you what. He worked more
- 36:21Speaker 1: than a hunting me. Did you know that I knew
- 36:23Speaker 1: that that? Did you know he was the highest paid?
- 36:26Speaker 1: What I want saying that dude, I was winning when
- 36:29Speaker 1: he was worth a hundred dollars? Get that I was.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I knew him when he wasn't was nothing but but
- 36:42Speaker 1: now he didn't pass everybody. We're not tripping on you.
- 36:46Speaker 1: You don't want to sound like you I didn't know
- 36:49Speaker 1: he was just rich. Yes, oh my god, do you
- 36:52Speaker 1: need your shoes because you know you're gonna be on TV?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Know you not. We're not doing this for him. We're
- 36:58Speaker 1: not listen and make it work. Regular forget that regular

- 38:37Speaker 1: We don't have people that do that. We don't know
- 38:41Speaker 1: people that come over big. I mean, if n't do that,
- 38:46Speaker 1: what you're cooking ribs, burgers, meat, meat, anything that is meat.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I don't do fish on the grill. Don't ask me
- 38:58Speaker 1: fun no fish. You wouldn't grill a nice salmon steak.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Put it on a little plank. What I do that?
- 39:14Speaker 1: All meats? Baby baby backs? Take me now, Tommy, that's
- 39:26Speaker 1: what Junior's asking the phone that I can't do it
- 39:29Speaker 1: because Junior's not has not convinced me that he is
- 39:32Speaker 1: a true barbecueologist. And I'm scared that he gonna be
- 39:36Speaker 1: sprinkling my rub on ham sandwiches and putting it on
- 39:40Speaker 1: top of potato salad like pip or something. I'm not
- 39:43Speaker 1: gonna do this with Junior, you know, like it's something
- 39:47Speaker 1: sprinkle or something like that. You got it, Like he's laris,
- 39:50Speaker 1: Like you're just putting it on everything, all on your
- 39:52Speaker 1: French fries. We're not fitting to do that. And putting
- 39:55Speaker 1: a little bit on the baked beans. You're not going
- 39:57Speaker 1: to do that to my damn rub. Open it off
- 40:02Speaker 1: with everything. Yeah, sprinkling on stop of stuff. They ain't
- 40:05Speaker 1: gonna I put a little bit on my slaw. What
- 40:10Speaker 1: take my rib and put it on nothing? So it's
- 40:12Speaker 1: all meat of fare. Now that will be side. Talk
- 40:18Speaker 1: about the sides. Besides will be baked beans, cold slaw,
- 40:24Speaker 1: corn on the cob. The corn goes on the grill,
- 40:31Speaker 1: but it goes on the grill in the husk. Well,
- 40:34Speaker 1: why can't you do the fish on a plank if
- 40:36Speaker 1: you could do the corn. I just told you I
- 40:43Speaker 1: don't do fish. Now. I have two sons. That's uh
- 40:47Speaker 1: pasketeria that only eat fish. Steve, my girlfriend take a

- 41:13Speaker 1: don't know what. I don't know what she gonna do.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I don't eat land animals. What what you gonna eat
- 41:18Speaker 1: a animals? You know, I ain't got no fight. You
- 41:23Speaker 1: didn't say potato salad. You cooking potato salad? Uh No.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I kind of gave up both potatoes salad years ago
- 41:30Speaker 1: because only a lot of people don't know how to
- 41:31Speaker 1: make potato salad. I don't really know how to make it. Marjorie,
- 41:35Speaker 1: make a good potato salad. But yeah, and Marjorie, Mama, Lord,
- 41:39Speaker 1: Marjorie really is outstanding cook. Margie's outstanding. She thinks she
- 41:44Speaker 1: had better g real person to me. But I don't
- 41:46Speaker 1: want to hurt it. But she's gonna get cussed out
- 41:48Speaker 1: if she say that in front of somebody else. Again,
- 41:52Speaker 1: that's what If she told me she could bobe que
- 41:57Speaker 1: jes as good at me, she's gonna mess around and
- 41:59Speaker 1: get a little self stop. Yeah, I'm trying not to
- 42:03Speaker 1: because I know that's what that's gonna cost me. But
- 42:06Speaker 1: she borderline getting cussed out if she tell one more
- 42:09Speaker 1: person she can griel as good as me, because that's
- 42:13Speaker 1: a damn laugh in here, a little us Scott shrimp
- 42:21Speaker 1: on skew us? Who do that? I hear? I hear
- 42:24Speaker 1: barbecue battle coming on a vegetable. That's it. You're listening.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 42:36Speaker 1: four minutes after it's today's strawberry letter, let's subject to
- 42:40Speaker 1: my husband is such a dummy. But right now the
- 42:43Speaker 1: nephew is here with today's praying phone call. What you
- 42:46Speaker 1: got for us? Now, it's time to hit the pool.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Summer time it's coming. It's here. Basically, the title is
- 42:54Speaker 1: naked lifeguard? Naked what lifeguard? Don't don't, don't, don't let
- 43:00Speaker 1: this bother you. Okay, I know I ain't the only
- 43:06Speaker 1: one on this shoulder swam naked. I know I ain't
- 43:08Speaker 1: the old Let's go catch make a lifeguard. Hello. Hello,
- 43:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a carry. Yes, this is carried,
- 43:20Speaker 1: Hi Carrie. My name is Oliver. Oliver. You uh put
- 43:24Speaker 1: in an application with the employment agency about looking fortunate
- 43:27Speaker 1: work as far as being a lifeguard. Oh, yeah, I did. Okay.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Have you had much experience being a lifeguard? Yeah, I've
- 43:35Speaker 1: been doing this for a while out back, since I
- 43:38Speaker 1: was like eighteen I got my CPR certification. I've had
- 43:45Speaker 1: as many as like two hundred people at one time
- 43:49Speaker 1: watching them. So I'm good. I'm good at what I do.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I love it, very good, very good. Well, i'll tell
- 43:54Speaker 1: you what. I've looked over your application and I've checked
- 43:57Speaker 1: everything out thoroughly, and I'm very very excited about maybe
- 44:01Speaker 1: getting you too. I don't know if you're familiar with it,
- 44:03Speaker 1: but public Pool it's actually in a subdivision. There's two
- 44:08Speaker 1: pools there. Are you familiar with? Yeah, I'm familiar with there.
- 44:11Speaker 1: They're near where I live. Yeah, okay, well there's actually
- 44:15Speaker 1: in the back of there's a gated community and that
- 44:19Speaker 1: is actually the particular property that I'm talking about. You
- 44:22Speaker 1: coming out and working for us there at the pool site.
- 44:26Speaker 1: If we can get you on Monday to Friday, we're
- 44:28Speaker 1: gonna actually hire some some more college students for for
- 44:33Speaker 1: Saturday and Sunday. What do you say? Oh, I say, okay,
- 44:36Speaker 1: that sounds great. Money to Friday weekends off. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Now we start off. Job actually pays twenty five dollars
- 44:45Speaker 1: an hour. Wow. You would be our head lifeguard, and um,
- 44:51Speaker 1: we would. We would want you to be there from
- 44:53Speaker 1: you know. I mean if you start at twelve, we'd
- 44:55Speaker 1: actually like you to get there around eleven thirty, you know,
- 44:58Speaker 1: just just to be prepared and be the overseer and
- 45:01Speaker 1: make sure the other lifeguards get there on time, and
- 45:03Speaker 1: you know, we'll go from there. I carry there's only
- 45:06Speaker 1: one catch that actually comes along with this job. We
- 45:10Speaker 1: want you to work an additional four hours from six
- 45:13Speaker 1: to ten at night. But it's gonna pay you fifty
- 45:16Speaker 1: dollars per hour, so you'll make an extra two hundred dollars.
- 45:19Speaker 1: How do you feel about that. Man, I feel good.
- 45:22Speaker 1: I mean, with the recession and everything, I can use
- 45:25Speaker 1: that money right now, especially during the summertime. Okay, now
- 45:29Speaker 1: here's the deal. This is in a gated community, like
- 45:31Speaker 1: I told you before. But also it's gonna be adults
- 45:35Speaker 1: at night, and they are actually gonna be swimming nude. Yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 1: they're gonna be swimming nude. And what they ask is,
- 45:44Speaker 1: if they're gonna be swimming nude, they want to make
- 45:46Speaker 1: sure that the lifeguard that's protecting them is gonna be
- 45:50Speaker 1: nude as well. Okay, I'm a certified lifeguard, I'm CPR certified,
- 45:57Speaker 1: I'm a student. I've had other jobs, but nudity wasn't
- 46:01Speaker 1: on my resume, and and I understand that wholeheartedly. But
- 46:06Speaker 1: we're talking about you possibly making seventeen hundred and fifty
- 46:10Speaker 1: dollars a week. How do you feel about seventeen hundred
- 46:12Speaker 1: and fifty a week for your nursing school. I'm sure
- 46:14Speaker 1: that'll that'll definitely pay for it throughout the entire summer.
- 46:17Speaker 1: That should be a big help, shouldn't it. Yeah? It would,
- 46:21Speaker 1: But I mean, I mean, are are you how do
- 46:25Speaker 1: you feel about trying it for a few weeks and then,
- 46:27Speaker 1: you know, how do you feel about that? I don't know,
- 46:31Speaker 1: But I mean, you're gonna watch over some adults who
- 46:34Speaker 1: are actually just gonna be nude in the pool, and
- 46:37Speaker 1: you're nude as well, up on the big chair that
- 46:39Speaker 1: overwatches everybody. Seventeen fifty I don't seventeen fifty carry, you know,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I don't think I'm gonna be able to do that
- 46:52Speaker 1: seventeen fifty carry. We're talking about four hours of you
- 46:56Speaker 1: being nude along with some other people that are already new. So,
- 46:59Speaker 1: I mean, what's the big deal. You know? What we
- 47:00Speaker 1: need you to do is come down. We're gonna do
- 47:03Speaker 1: some drills, some lifeguard drills to make sure that you're
- 47:05Speaker 1: definitely qualified. But we're gonna make sure that when you
- 47:08Speaker 1: do those, you gotta be naked as well. Okay, what what?
- 47:11Speaker 1: Why would I have to do some drills naked? I'm
- 47:15Speaker 1: on already a lifeguard? What do I need to drill?
- 47:18Speaker 1: And I understand that, But in order we for our
- 47:21Speaker 1: particular property, we gotta make sure that you're actually prepared
- 47:23Speaker 1: and ready. You know, I understand. Well, that's the way
- 47:27Speaker 1: it is. Carry We need you to come down and
- 47:30Speaker 1: do some drills it's not gonna take a long probably
- 47:32Speaker 1: about a half hour. You come down, you get undrafted,
- 47:35Speaker 1: you get in the pool, and we make sure that
- 47:36Speaker 1: you're qualified, um to swim, nude, to handle to saving
- 47:40Speaker 1: somebody's life, nude, the whole nine yards. But I mean,
- 47:45Speaker 1: what if my family come to that? You know, Carrie,
- 47:48Speaker 1: you know I can't go back and forth with you.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I can't now. I know you. You you know. I
- 47:53Speaker 1: looked at your resume. I looked at what you were
- 47:54Speaker 1: doing and what you're pursuing in life, and I thought
- 47:57Speaker 1: this would be a great opportunity for you. But I
- 47:59Speaker 1: can't be I mean, I can't do that to my family.
- 48:02Speaker 1: You can know. No, wait a minute, hang on a second. Now,
- 48:05Speaker 1: you can't tell me you can't do it now? Oh yes,
- 48:08Speaker 1: yes I can't. So you get your down here in
- 48:10Speaker 1: the morning so I can get these drills done. And
- 48:13Speaker 1: I want you naked when you get here and getting
- 48:15Speaker 1: this pool. You understand me, Who the hell do you
- 48:17Speaker 1: think you're talking to? Are you some kind of Paul pimp?
- 48:20Speaker 1: Life guard? Human Resources? Hurry, pimp? You're new pimping me.
- 48:24Speaker 1: I don't have to come down there. If I want
- 48:26Speaker 1: to come down there, you gotta bring you think it
- 48:28Speaker 1: down here tomorrow and get in this pool and do it. Thrill.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Do you think you're talking too I'm talking to you.
- 48:34Speaker 1: You get your tomorrow and you do the drill. Need
- 48:37Speaker 1: to do it. Go get you a pill and sing
- 48:39Speaker 1: babywach because I ain't tread you doing the new breast
- 48:45Speaker 1: for you all freaking I don't know them. I don't
- 48:48Speaker 1: know them people. I don't give it. Who you know? Now?
- 48:51Speaker 1: You get your down here and you take the job.
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm not coming down that to your fun told tomorrow
- 48:56Speaker 1: and I swim new and life. Go ahead now for
- 48:59Speaker 1: a run. I don't know you take your time to
- 49:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to be nice to you when you come
- 49:05Speaker 1: around with that. She never stood. But because I'm not
- 49:09Speaker 1: thinking of the girl, you got me. Okay, you need
- 49:11Speaker 1: to gonna get you a Pamela and baywatch you know,
- 49:15Speaker 1: deep sea diving. I don't know what you need, but
- 49:18Speaker 1: I'm not what you need. You get your black down
- 49:21Speaker 1: here tomorrow. What I'm talking to you? Who you think
- 49:25Speaker 1: you're talking to? Who I'm talking to you? Do you
- 49:29Speaker 1: think you're talking to I got something I want to
- 49:31Speaker 1: say to you. You're listening, you know where you've been
- 49:34Speaker 1: a grahad and stay because I'm bout hang up this
- 49:36Speaker 1: pone in your face right now. This is nephew Tommy
- 49:40Speaker 1: from the Steve Harby Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 49:43Speaker 1: by your girlfriend. I just see this. Franks you, baby,
- 49:54Speaker 1: your girlfriend, Franks you? When I see that, she's gonna
- 49:59Speaker 1: have one little float? All right, I gotta ask you something, baby,
- 50:06Speaker 1: what is what is the baddest I'm talking about the
- 50:09Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land, The Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Distress in her voice. I thought about it that I
- 50:26Speaker 1: can't do that. I just can't do that to my family, right,
- 50:32Speaker 1: she really was keep your black ass down? Did you
- 50:38Speaker 1: talk to her like that? Tommy? I would have been
- 50:40Speaker 1: down there for show. I got my daddy. But Tommy,
- 50:44Speaker 1: you kind of blew it in the beginning. You know
- 50:46Speaker 1: you're gonna be at the pool. You're gonna be like
- 50:48Speaker 1: the head. Uh, you gotta be the overseer. I said,
- 50:51Speaker 1: what kind of slave ass? Gold can't be the overseers?
- 50:56Speaker 1: What did his old ass say to this younger, y'all overseer?
- 51:06Speaker 1: At what point shall I bring out my band and
- 51:08Speaker 1: pick a bail? You're listening to string show. All right,
- 51:20Speaker 1: it's time now for today's Strawberry Letter. And if you
- 51:23Speaker 1: need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting and more,
- 51:27Speaker 1: please submit your Strawberry Letter on Steve Harvey FM and
- 51:31Speaker 1: just click submit Strawberry Letter. We'll get it and we
- 51:34Speaker 1: could be reading your letter live on the air, just
- 51:36Speaker 1: like we're gonna read this one right here, right now today.
- 51:39Speaker 1: All right, buckle up and hold on tight. We got
- 51:41Speaker 1: it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter subject,
- 51:44Speaker 1: My husband is such a dummy. Here's Stephen Shirley. I've
- 51:48Speaker 1: been married for twenty years and it's been the longest
- 51:51Speaker 1: twenty years ever. Neither of us has been perfect in
- 51:55Speaker 1: the marriage. But I got myself together and I was
- 51:59Speaker 1: hoping that my dumb as husband did too. But it
- 52:05Speaker 1: seems like there are far too many ways for him
- 52:07Speaker 1: to do his dirty deeds now. About three months ago,
- 52:10Speaker 1: he sent me a text that was intended for someone
- 52:13Speaker 1: else he wanted to meet up after work. I busted him,
- 52:18Speaker 1: and he lied and said that the text was for
- 52:20Speaker 1: me and he was trying something new to keep our
- 52:23Speaker 1: marriage interesting. I knew he was lying, so I started
- 52:26Speaker 1: paying close attention to his daily called logs on the
- 52:29Speaker 1: cell phone bill. He was dialing all kinds of numbers
- 52:33Speaker 1: that I had never seen before. I didn't ask him
- 52:36Speaker 1: about it because I needed more proof. Then, by looking
- 52:39Speaker 1: at his phone, I noticed that he downloaded a new
- 52:41Speaker 1: app that allows him to talk and video chat with
- 52:44Speaker 1: people without its showing up on the cell bill cell
- 52:48Speaker 1: phone bill. Then I realized he was on social media,
- 52:52Speaker 1: liking pictures of half dressed women, commenting on how nice
- 52:57Speaker 1: and fine they are, and in sending these women direct messages,
- 53:03Speaker 1: he was demming them. When I confronted him with everything,
- 53:07Speaker 1: he swore that it's all innocent fun and he's not
- 53:11Speaker 1: trying to be sneaky. He said he never had planned
- 53:14Speaker 1: to meet up with any of those women. I pay
- 53:17Speaker 1: the cell phone bills, So I told him that I'm
- 53:20Speaker 1: going to have his cell phone deactivated and he will
- 53:22Speaker 1: not have access to any apps or social media. He
- 53:26Speaker 1: almost lost it when I said that, which confirms my suspicions. Okay,
- 53:35Speaker 1: she pays the cell phone bills. Okay, so she told
- 53:38Speaker 1: him that she's going to have his phone deactivated and
- 53:42Speaker 1: he will not have access to any apps or social media.
- 53:46Speaker 1: He almost lost it when I said that, which confirms
- 53:50Speaker 1: my suspicions. If my gut feelings are right and he's
- 53:53Speaker 1: cheating again, I'm out of here. Do you think I'm
- 53:56Speaker 1: just tripping or blowing this out of proportion? Please help? Well,
- 54:02Speaker 1: you definitely have a few things that are definitely caused
- 54:05Speaker 1: for a concern here, and really more than that. First,
- 54:08Speaker 1: the text you mentioned in the letter that he sent
- 54:11Speaker 1: to you by mistake. You knew it was intended for
- 54:13Speaker 1: someone else. You knew he was lying. He tried to
- 54:15Speaker 1: cover it up saying that you know he wanted to
- 54:18Speaker 1: try something new in the marriage. You knew that was
- 54:20Speaker 1: a lie. Also, the new app he has where he
- 54:22Speaker 1: can video chat and like pictures and DM people, that's
- 54:26Speaker 1: another clue. And of course your gut feeling. You know
- 54:30Speaker 1: what they say, always trust your gut. Right. Well, after
- 54:33Speaker 1: twenty years, you know your man, you know his habits,
- 54:36Speaker 1: you know how he moves, so you know when he's
- 54:39Speaker 1: telling the truth and you know when he's lying. All
- 54:42Speaker 1: through this letter he has done nothing but lie and
- 54:45Speaker 1: you've caught him. So you ask us, are you tripping?
- 54:49Speaker 1: And are you blowing things out of proportion? You know,
- 54:51Speaker 1: I say, trust yourself, trust your instincts. No I don't
- 54:55Speaker 1: think you're blowing things out of proportion. I don't think
- 54:59Speaker 1: you're tripping at all. I think your husband is tripping.
- 55:01Speaker 1: I think he's tripping. He's the one that's out of
- 55:04Speaker 1: control here with all of this. You say, if you
- 55:07Speaker 1: if your gut feelings are right, and you find out
- 55:09Speaker 1: he's cheating again, you're out of there. So it looks
- 55:13Speaker 1: like you know you better start packing your bags. You
- 55:16Speaker 1: don't have any concrete proof now, but it looks like
- 55:18Speaker 1: it might be coming, so get ready. Steve, Wow, I
- 55:25Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you. You've been married for
- 55:27Speaker 1: twenty years. You said it has been the longest twenty yes, ever,
- 55:32Speaker 1: I mean, damn, neither one of y'all been perfect in
- 55:36Speaker 1: the marriage. I mean, you didn't tripped and needing trip.
- 55:38Speaker 1: But then you say you got yours together, and then
- 55:41Speaker 1: you was hoping he did. But now it's tech causing
- 55:44Speaker 1: technologists just too many ways for him to be out
- 55:47Speaker 1: there tripping. So he sent this text about three months
- 55:50Speaker 1: ago that was intended for somebody else, said, you know,
- 55:55Speaker 1: to meet up for after work. Well, then you busted him.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Here's what he did. Though. After you busted him, you
- 56:03Speaker 1: said that he said that was for you. He was
- 56:08Speaker 1: trying to keep new things in that man. I said
- 56:11Speaker 1: that that you. I just told you that. I just
- 56:13Speaker 1: act like I ain't knew you. I knew he was lying.
- 56:18Speaker 1: So then you started watching the call log on the
- 56:21Speaker 1: cell phone, did all kinds of numbers on that, you know,
- 56:27Speaker 1: But now you're snooping. So you didn't want to bust
- 56:29Speaker 1: him right away, but you started looking at his phone
- 56:32Speaker 1: that he had downloaded a new app that allows him
- 56:36Speaker 1: to talk and video chat with people without his showing
- 56:39Speaker 1: up on the cell phone bill. Now that's curious to me.
- 56:44Speaker 1: A video phone call is different on your cell phone bill?
- 56:49Speaker 1: Is it the WhatsApp? I don't know WhatsApp. I think
- 56:53Speaker 1: it's WhatsApp Steve. She didn't say that, but it's probably
- 56:55Speaker 1: what you mean. No, nephew, seems like he has some
- 57:00Speaker 1: sight on this. What was that married man? Okay? Then okay,
- 57:05Speaker 1: let me inside boys outside boys. That's crazy. This boy
- 57:12Speaker 1: did give it some year, definitely years like the last
- 57:18Speaker 1: Yeah said to be the longest. She said. That allows
- 57:22Speaker 1: him to talk and video chat with people without his
- 57:25Speaker 1: showing up on the cell phone bill. Oh, I see
- 57:27Speaker 1: what you're talking about. That must be horse. Then I
- 57:30Speaker 1: realized he was on social media liking pictures of half
- 57:33Speaker 1: dressed women. Come in on house and find the sending
- 57:37Speaker 1: these women dms. Then when you confronted and he swore
- 57:41Speaker 1: he was innocent, he ain't sneaking, he ain't playing on
- 57:45Speaker 1: me with no new women. I just said I wanted
- 57:48Speaker 1: how did he say it? I just said I ain't
- 57:50Speaker 1: gonna beat up with nobody. I just said I have
- 57:52Speaker 1: wounded too. Girl. You tripping? Yeah? Right? You don't see
- 57:57Speaker 1: me over there, now, do you? All right? Hold on,
- 58:00Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 58:02Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. Subjects up today's strawberry letter,
- 58:06Speaker 1: my husband is such a dummy. We'll get back into
- 58:09Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to all right, let's
- 58:15Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter and uh, come on, Steve with
- 58:19Speaker 1: your response. The subject is my husband is such a dummy. Man,
- 58:27Speaker 1: y'all been together twenty years, according to you, has been
- 58:29Speaker 1: the long as twenty available. Technology then took over head
- 58:35Speaker 1: and found a lot of ways to cheat. Now, three
- 58:38Speaker 1: months ago he sent a text to you that was
- 58:41Speaker 1: intended for somebody else. He wanted to meet up after
- 58:44Speaker 1: the work. I busted him. He lied and said that
- 58:46Speaker 1: the text was for me, and he was trying to gil. Girl.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Let's tell for you. What's his name? Girl? Oh tell
- 58:55Speaker 1: me the dude's name in the letter to really to Realist,
- 59:03Speaker 1: because he tells the women I'm to really still really
- 59:09Speaker 1: so to Realist's dead serious. And uh, Lee led and
- 59:15Speaker 1: said the text was for you, and you knew he
- 59:18Speaker 1: was lying, So you started watching the call logs. He
- 59:22Speaker 1: downed all kind of numbers you've never seen before. I
- 59:24Speaker 1: didn't ask him about it because I needed some more proof.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Then you're looking at the phone. Notice heating the downloaded
- 59:30Speaker 1: a new app that allows him to talk in video
- 59:32Speaker 1: chat with people without his showing up on the cell
- 59:35Speaker 1: phone bill that horse Altum, cording to Sherley. Then I
- 59:38Speaker 1: realized he was on social media, liking pictures I have
- 59:41Speaker 1: dressed women, comment on how nice and fine they are,
- 59:44Speaker 1: sending these women direct messaging. Then when I confronted what
- 59:48Speaker 1: he swore to it was all innocent. He just not
- 59:50Speaker 1: trying to be sneaky. Girl. I ain't had no plan
- 59:53Speaker 1: on going out with none of these here women, because listen,
- 59:57Speaker 1: we was just talking. We was just talking, and that's
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: all it wools from New York. And then when you
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: come talking about that I was going to meet up
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: with these women's and I wasn't and I wasn't you know,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: so then you know, then you come talking about because
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you paid the cell phone the bills that you was
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: gonna have my phone just deactivated? Now why are you
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: tripping like that? Wow? And then you ain't got no,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I ain't gonna have no access to any of these apps.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I need these apps for my job. Well, if he
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: got a job, he should pay his own cell phone.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Then if my gut feelings are right and he's cheating again,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I am out of here. Do you think I'm just
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: tripping and blowing this out of proportion? Okay, let me
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: ask you something. What's her name? This is to really
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: us and just Shamika? Okay, yeah, okay, yeah they call
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: him STD. What they call him STD? Shimika into really

- 1:01:15Speaker 1: and he's cheating again, well, if your good, if your
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: good feelings is right, your good telling you he's cheating again,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I'm out of him. Do you think I'm just tripping
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: and blowing this side of proportion? Look if you're looking
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: for a reason to stay with him. Man, they're just
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: gonna stay with him. You got twenty years in. You
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: could use that one people like to use I got
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: twenty years in, like that's supposed to have value to
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: it when they after that, if something had gone bad,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: then it was a season for it. You know, some
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: racing relationships are just for seasons. It's just you didn't
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: blow that part in of your life. You look back
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: on it. You got some good times out of him
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: twenty even though it was the longest you ever had.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: You know, your husband had dummy. But if he done
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: what they make you though, because you staying with it
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: and you're good telling you what he's doing. Man to Really,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: it's just that any question about this letter because I'm
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: technically don't tell him to get her own damn phone
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: in his own name? Why good? Don't no? Because you
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: know telling me when you're stupid? Now you're noticed? What notice? Now?
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Some of this stuff I don't see what the questions
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: from where? You know? You know, when a man is
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: at this level of ignorance, it compounds and manifests itself
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: in a lot of ways. You know, you know, when
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: you're stupid you ain't just stupid at that that stupidity
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: shows up in multiple areas of your life on him
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: of Steve. Now, Tommy, is this true? What's Steve saying? Come?
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Oh boy? I love you, love you? Answer the question
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: now to see the thing about Tommy. Now, let me
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: tell you something. Tommy's ignorance is reserved for prank phone call.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Now his anger management problem that carries over, but he
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: don't have to deal with his anger management in pranks.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: His stupidity is for pranks now, his anger management that's
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: other areas of life. And that's not really stupidity, that's
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: angle managed. Okay, aren't we getting off subject though? We're
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: talking about stupidity. Well, I don't know how we could be,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: didn't I say Tommy twice? Okay? Yeah, I may I
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: am as ignorant, but I'll be damning from stupidity whatever
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: you say. All right, listen, we gotta get out of here.

- 1:05:02Speaker 1: is your kids so fat? We can do that. We
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: can do that. Number three people who go from zero
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to sixty Tommy? Four? Big girls with little men? Yeah.

- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a nightmare. And then then from Houston. That's all I'm saying.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I ain't talking about the name. They're from Houston. Everythang
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: is a damn an argument. Now that your voice with
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: a high voice, you know what high voice argument about? Nothing? Zero?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: They were talking thing? You know, any full blown out
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: manet dare get dang good about Wow? Do you have one? Steve?
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: A person doesn't have to be somebody you work with,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: people up from over sixty. Okay, Well, since we're talking
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: about people we work with. I think Sherley, I think
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: for zero sixty. Every time I turn around, she man
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: a boy, someone a bullshit, always correcting you. You can't
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: say nothing wrong, isn't this isn't. I mean as soon
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: as you say something like she right there, like we
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: got to deal with that, do you say something to it?
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: And she just started drawing. She started drawing right now.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: All of a sudden, we're making a flower. It don't
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: really look like a flowers that look like you're on
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the sixty. Not only not only zero to sixty one,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: they reached sixty. They shut down. They got nothing down.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Now let's say they quiet shut it down. Then after that,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: so you're okay with cool? No we cool? No no,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: well no, hell no, let's just move on. No no,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: let's move no no, no no no, let's just going
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: to do the show because listen comment right there, No
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: no hell no, get the attitude now, no no, no, no, no,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: no man, no, here here go his favorite it's always me. Yes,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you're listening morning show. This is when you realize you're
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: not good at sheating. It's when you get caught. As
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: soon as you get caught. Always well, I wasn't good
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: at it this time. I've never been good at it,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: but duke duke one time. Yeah, I'm at my place.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: You know, got my little place is all, you know,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: got faked for all on the couch and everything, got
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: my little got my little pictures on the wall, my seat,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: my album, you know the album, got the albums on
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: the wall. Man, I'm sitting at chit chatting. You know.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: We listened to some loofah loofah, some loop. All of
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: a sudden, a brick comes through the window, right, what right?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Like this is normal with with his It didn't have
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: a note on it, so I had no wood, It
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: didn't have a normal And I threw a brick through
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: your window. And it was a nice side of brick, right,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: not a rock. I didn't say it rock. This was
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: a brick. Well, I'm here to jail. Nothing changes the
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: mood in the room like a brick coming through your window.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: In your albums and all that, forget all that, right,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I can. I can't hear outside. I still didn't know
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: who was bring your own lass out in. You ain't
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: gonna out that though. You still hear the rude number one,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Never go outside, You never go outside? And then hell no,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: you don't go outside. But it changed the mood of
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: the inside. So I couldn't go outside, and I had
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: nothing inside because what was inside Now I wasn't naked,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I wasn't naked, but what was inside left, So she
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: left because that changed the mood right there. When you hit,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: when you hit, when you see a brick and then
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: bring your lass outside. But when you saw the brick,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: you had no idea. I kind of had an idea,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: threw the brick, but the mood was changed. So that
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: was that's my convention. Wow, mine ain't that. I was
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: young man about twenty two, So I started dating this
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: girl that worked at four. So I finally took a
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: long time, got to go out to dinner with me.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I went to this restaurant up on Northfield called brown Derby.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: We walked into brown Derby. I got a little pr
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Carden suit on everything. We sit down at the table.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I'm sitting there, man, big thick knock, gotm a little
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: frow and everything. You know how you feel somebody standing, Yeah,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: you just kind of dimly lit in there. So when
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: my eyes adjusted, I look and the other girl I'm dating,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: it's in now with her mama dinner, and she just
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: standing at me, looking at you. I'm talking about man,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: upside my head her mama back to me. Now, i'd
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: have been over that house, man there any time that
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: your girl. She stared at me. So I looked cross
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: through the little vase with the flowers at it. You
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: just thought I was in the jungle. So I looked
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: around it and made our contact. I jerked my head
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: so I would look out of no more. I said that. Man,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I didn't know what to do. Man, I'm young. I'm
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: trying to work this out. So I said, man, I
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: gotta do something, So I got up. She looked dead
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: at me. As soon as I got up and walked
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: towards the bathroom, here she comes. So when I got
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: ready to make the left to turn into the bathroom,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I just kind of peeked back to see if she
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: was at with her mama. She was halfway across the restaurant,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: so I ain't making left straight on out. Then my car,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I parked a long way from the restaurant, was crowded,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: so I'm on the other end. I walked out the
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: restaurant and just walked to the corner and crossed the
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: street all out here, stave, stave, I got here to
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: get here. Now, guess what I did? Okay, what did
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you think? I went back to get the car home.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. What if y'all this
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: gen Brown trying to get his horn and done? This

- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I won't be related to Steve for real from no,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: because I ain't got no money in my family. You don't.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I need somebody else beside me that's got money. And
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I just found an over vacation uncle, Steve. Boy, do
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: you be looking to me? Do you know how much
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: your uncle worthy already? How much? I'm not gonna throw
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: the number that But I actually no, no, I don't
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: know this. Yeah, but we've been working with him every day,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: y'all so disrespectful. Man. Did I go with him what
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: that man? Were supposed to treat him different? Yes? No,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: because hell, we ain't broke people you treat better than him?
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Oh No, I gotta ain't it. I sweat. I never
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: talked to the same. No, not long as I know.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I'm Steve ain't hill if you don't get your broke
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: ass away from me. No, No, I'm tired. I'm tying
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: all the broke people. I got to be nice to
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: a hit on Steve, and we treat him like he
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: ain't worth nothing. This man, he could change our generation.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: We treat him regularly, treat him like I don't want
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: to treat him. Record, I love you now. If you
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: need me him problem, I'll tell you what he's worth
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: more than a hunted me. Did you know that? You
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: know that? Did you know he was the highest pain?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I wasn't saying that, dude, I was winning when he
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: was worth one hundred dollars, for get that. On the
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: n through it. I knew it when he wasn't worth nothing.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: But but but now he didn't pass everybody. You're not
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: tripping on you. You don't want to sound like I
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: didn't know he was just rich? Ye oh my god,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: do you need your shoes because you know you're gonna
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: be on TV. We know you're not. We're not doing
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: this for him. We're not doing to listen and make
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: it work. Forget that. Regular folks got thirty dollars hour
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: that regular folk? All right? That okay, y'all quit it.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: Regular folk, seventeen regular people. It may I take your
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: reg people. Okay, two hundred million, Yeah, it isn't look different.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: But let me tell you something. People with two hundred men,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you still have to tell you go tell to you
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: that sitting that you do this regular time. He don't
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: do and you do? No, he don't. Okay, So here
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: how you you have to sit in a regular chair?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: You don't? Man, that's you. He gonna try to call
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: you dry, No, Tommy, dry God say it. You can
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: say it. Just how did I get called up? All right,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: we gotta go. We'll be back. You're listening, show bright Steve.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Here we are. It's good. It's been a good day.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: It's been a real good day. It's been a good day, Steve.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I know you have some inspiring words to leave us
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: with today. You know. I got up yesterday and um,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: I was about to do my morning meditation, and something
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: told me to just turn the TV on and look
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: for Joel Oldstein. I mean, I didn't turn the TV
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: on because that's my meditational time. So I turned it
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: on and I thumbed through and I found Joe those
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: team right at eight o'clock out in La It was
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: right at the exact moment, and I was there in
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: time for the joke that he does and a little
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: funny thing he starts off his sermons, and I was listening.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: He was talking about something, man, that really struck a
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: chord with me, and I think has affected all of
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: us at one point in time in our life. And
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I wanted to share it with you, man, because it
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: was so helpful to me. He was talking about bitterness.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: He was talking about not allowing bitterness to take hold
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: in your life. He said, the problem with bitterness is
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: that the longer you hold on to it, the harder
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: it is to get rid of. And what the basic
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: thing in his sermon was, and I'm just paraphrasing every
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: thing he was asking everybody, instead of holding on to bitterness,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: you've got to learn to ask God to help you
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: forgive more quickly. You've got to start asking God to
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: help you let it go, because if you don't, it
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: just attaches itself to you and bitterness shows up everywhere.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: It's a funny thing, man, because I was thinking, I said, Man,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I'm not really a bitter person. This ain't for me,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: but oh man, as I listened, he was talking about
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: because bitterness shows up everywhere. You Ever been angry because
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: a deal didn't go down. You ever been angry or
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: got upset about a contract and it kind of bugged
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you for a while. You ever been you ever see
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: a coworker and they just kind of rubbed you the
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: wrong way? You know, maybe they fronted you in front
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: of others. You got to remember something about a bitterness, man, Bitterness,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: it's a roo r oot. Bitterness is a root. You
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: can't see roots because roots are underground. But roots anchor
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: the tree and the bush, and and and and and
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: and the roots are under the ground. And bitter roots
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: make bitter fruit. If a if a tree has bitter roots,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: it's gonna produce bitter fruit. So what he was saying
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: the whole time yesterday was don't let mishaps and grudges
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: take root. Don't allow these stuffs to take root, because
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: you won't You won't even be able to see it,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: and just be underground gathering strength and holding you down.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: And and and the roots. The root feeds a tree,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: the root feeds the bush. And if you got bad
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: roots down there, Bitter roots don't free, don't feed to
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: treat good nutrients. Bitter roots destroy. So when you're starting
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: to feel some type of resentment, you're holding a grudge.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Maybe he left you, Maybe you got they told you
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: they loved you and it turned out they didn't. Maybe
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you got stuck with the baby. Maybe your kids just
