- 0:01Speaker 1: In a democracy.
- 0:02Speaker 2: One of the core pillars of a democracy is having
- 0:06Speaker 2: free and fair elections. I've been warning you now for
- 0:10Speaker 2: quite some time that Democrats do not believe in that pillar,
- 0:14Speaker 2: and really don't even believe in this country or a democracy,
- 0:19Speaker 2: or the rights of the voters to be able to
- 0:21Speaker 2: decide who they want to be a leader. If you
- 0:23Speaker 2: don't believe me, go back to twenty sixteen.
- 0:27Speaker 1: What were Democrats saying.
- 0:29Speaker 2: They were saying that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president.
- 0:32Speaker 2: They also then decided to impeach Donald Trump over the
- 0:35Speaker 2: Steel dossier, a dossier and a dossier that they paid for,
- 0:41Speaker 2: A dossier that they funded, A dossier that the Hillary
- 0:43Speaker 2: Clinton campaign and the Democrat National Committee knew from the
- 0:46Speaker 2: very beginning was filled with lies that they created out
- 0:49Speaker 2: of thin air, that they paid someone to create lies
- 0:52Speaker 2: out of thin air.
- 0:52Speaker 1: It was a movie script.
- 0:55Speaker 2: It was just used to undermine a man running for president.
- 0:59Speaker 2: But even after Donald Trump won, they said, we can't
- 1:01Speaker 2: have this. We're going to overthrow the will of the people.
- 1:04Speaker 2: We don't like the people, we don't trust the people,
- 1:06Speaker 2: we don't believe in the people.
- 1:08Speaker 1: So what are we going to do.
- 1:09Speaker 2: We're going to then try to get rid of the
- 1:11Speaker 2: president because we don't like who they chose, and we're
- 1:13Speaker 2: going to do it with intel and information that we created.
- 1:17Speaker 2: That's how far gone the socialist Communist Democratic Party is.
- 1:22Speaker 2: But now they're doing it to their own voters. Before
- 1:28Speaker 2: they were doing that to their opponents. But now they've
- 1:31Speaker 2: decided in this upcoming election cycle, this presidential election cycle,
- 1:36Speaker 2: that they are going to do it to their own
- 1:38Speaker 2: voters what they did to Trump supporters and half the
- 1:41Speaker 2: country that decided they didn't want Hillary Clinton to be
- 1:44Speaker 2: president when they voted for Donald J.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Trump.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Florida Democrats have announced that they are keeping Representative Dean Phillips,
- 1:53Speaker 2: Democrat from Minnesota, and President Joe Biden's other opponents off
- 1:59Speaker 2: of the state eights primary ballot, handing Biden the state's
- 2:04Speaker 2: two hundred and fifty delegates, Politico has learned and is
- 2:09Speaker 2: reporting on as of late Thursday night. Thursday mark the
- 2:13Speaker 2: deadline for the Florida Democrat and Republican parties to submit
- 2:17Speaker 2: their lists of approved candidates for their prospective primaries, and
- 2:22Speaker 2: Biden was the lone name on the Democratic ticket. Phillips
- 2:28Speaker 2: took to x formerly known as Twitter, to contend that
- 2:32Speaker 2: the move disenfranchises millions and millions of Florida voters and
- 2:37Speaker 2: said he would challenge this absolute nonsense, saying, quote, the
- 2:42Speaker 2: Florida Democratic Party is gifting all two hundred and fifty
- 2:46Speaker 2: state delegates to Joe Biden without a single vote being cast.
- 2:51Speaker 1: We won't stand for it.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Take a listen to the Democrat in his own words
- 2:55Speaker 2: as he put out this video.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Everybody, what happened in Florida yesterday is a tragedy and
- 3:00Speaker 3: a travesty. The Florida Democratic Party decided, just a handful
- 3:04Speaker 3: of people decided to disenfranchise millions of Democratic voters in
- 3:08Speaker 3: Florida by saying We're not going to have.
- 3:10Speaker 1: A presidential primary.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I'm running for president. There are others running for president
- 3:14Speaker 3: as Democrats, and this is the kind of stuff that
- 3:16Speaker 3: happens in Tehran, not in Tallahassee.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We've got to do something about this.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I've been a lifelong Democrat, you know, that supported our
- 3:22Speaker 3: party since I was in my twenties, been a member
- 3:24Speaker 3: of Congress for three terms, and was a member of
- 3:27Speaker 3: House Democratic leadership. I've never seen something so absurd, so disenfranchising,
- 3:33Speaker 3: and so suppressive of Democratic voters.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So please help us out.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Go to Dean twenty four dot com and support our
- 3:39Speaker 3: effort to pursue legal channels to rectify this absolute nonsense,
- 3:44Speaker 3: tragic day for electoral democracy in America.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Thanks everybody.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Dean Phillips for President putting out that official statement and
- 3:52Speaker 2: asking others to support him and what he says now
- 3:55Speaker 2: will be the legal challenges. What happened in Florida yesterday
- 3:58Speaker 2: is a trade and a travesty. I love the fact
- 4:02Speaker 2: that he said this is something you would have we
- 4:04Speaker 2: would expect to happen in Tehran, not in Tallahassee. Now,
- 4:10Speaker 2: Moraine Williamson will also be left off the ballot in
- 4:14Speaker 2: the Sunshine State as well.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Mary Ann Williamson, by the.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Way, will also be left off the ballot in the
- 4:20Speaker 2: Sunshine State. This comes as thirty five percent of registered
- 4:25Speaker 2: Democratic primary voters have said publicly in the latest poll
- 4:30Speaker 2: numbers that they will not or are not behind Joe Biden.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That According to a Harris poll published yesterday, Biden, by
- 4:42Speaker 2: the way, took sixty five percent of the response, followed
- 4:45Speaker 2: by Williamson at eight percent and Phillips at four percent.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Another twenty four percent were either undecided or planned to
- 4:54Speaker 2: vote quote for someone else now. The full poll, which
- 4:57Speaker 2: also gauged national trends in the temp ure of the
- 5:00Speaker 2: Republican primary, sample more than four thousand voters from November
- 5:06Speaker 2: the twenty second through the twenty eight and the margin
- 5:08Speaker 2: of air was plus or minus one point six percent.
- 5:12Speaker 2: This is exactly why the Democrat said, screw it, we
- 5:17Speaker 2: won't have a primary in Florida. Why do we need
- 5:20Speaker 2: to have a primary in Florida if we fix and
- 5:23Speaker 2: rig the election anyway? Who cares? If you're being disenfranchised?
- 5:28Speaker 2: Whose cares? This is to suppress Democratic voters now. In
- 5:33Speaker 2: response to a separate statement sent to Politico, Florida Democratic
- 5:37Speaker 2: chair Nikki Freed, a failed twenty twenty two gubernatorial candidate,
- 5:41Speaker 2: called phillips concerns conspiratorial. We are dismayed by Dean phillips
- 5:47Speaker 2: conspiratorial and inappropriate comments comparing the state of Florida to
- 5:51Speaker 2: the Iranian regime as part of his knee jerk reaction
- 5:54Speaker 2: to long established procedures. Freed said this is unbecoming of
- 5:59Speaker 2: someone running for higher office. Williamson also took to x
- 6:03Speaker 2: to strongly criticize the Democratic Party's Florida move. Mary Anne
- 6:07Speaker 2: said quote well, you won't believe what Florida is doing.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Now.
- 6:11Speaker 2: You have to jump through a lot of hoops to
- 6:13Speaker 2: get on the ballot in states across the country, but
- 6:15Speaker 2: Florida takes the cake.
- 6:17Speaker 1: They won't even let you try.
- 6:20Speaker 2: The Florida Secretary of State has the side to simply
- 6:22Speaker 2: allow The Florida Secretary of State has decided to simply
- 6:26Speaker 2: allow the Florida Democratic Party to decide who it wants
- 6:30Speaker 2: to be on the ballot. The Democratic Party said, we
- 6:33Speaker 2: only want Joe Biden.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Please.
- 6:35Speaker 2: This absurd and unconstitutional display is exactly how an authoritarian
- 6:40Speaker 2: state works. People are told they can vote, but are
- 6:43Speaker 2: informed by someone else who their options will be.
- 6:47Speaker 1: The words that my father keep ringing in my ear.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Beat the system, kids, beat the system more to come
- 6:55Speaker 2: so again in Florida, the Democratic Party has made it
- 6:58Speaker 2: very very clear, saying, screw you you as a as
- 7:05Speaker 2: a party, as a voter, if you are a Democrat,
- 7:08Speaker 2: we decide who the candidate is for you.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You don't get to decide. Now.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Let me also say this, If Florida is going to
- 7:18Speaker 2: be able to get away with this, I would absolutely
- 7:22Speaker 2: expect that other states are going to do the exact
- 7:25Speaker 2: same damn thing. And what this tells you about the
- 7:28Speaker 2: Democratic Party is that the Democratic Party is dead.
- 7:32Speaker 1: The Democratic Party is.
- 7:35Speaker 2: A party that dictates to their supporters exactly what it
- 7:40Speaker 2: is they can or can't do, who they can or
- 7:43Speaker 2: can't vote for. This is the reason why you got
- 7:46Speaker 2: Joe Biden in the first place. They decided it was
- 7:49Speaker 2: going to be Joe Biden. Everybody else be damned. They'll
- 7:53Speaker 2: do anything they have to to get rid of you,
- 7:56Speaker 2: and if you get in their way, they just won't
- 7:58Speaker 2: allow you on the ballot. Now, I laugh because I
- 8:02Speaker 2: tweeted this out to Mariam who is you know, Williamson,
- 8:06Speaker 2: who was upset, right, And I get why she was upset,
- 8:09Speaker 2: I really do.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And I am.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Defending the fact that she should have been on the ballot.
- 8:16Speaker 2: But you know, I put her diatribe out there, and
- 8:18Speaker 2: I put so election fixing is cool until your own
- 8:21Speaker 2: Democratic Party does it to you. And that's what this
- 8:26Speaker 2: basically is. She is out there and she is saying
- 8:31Speaker 2: that she's furious the Democratic Party did this. Well, did
- 8:34Speaker 2: you think they weren't going to do this to you?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Eventually they did it to Republicans. Why wouldn't they do
- 8:39Speaker 2: it to you? Let me also just say one final
- 8:43Speaker 2: thing about if you're in another state and you're a liberal,
- 8:47Speaker 2: you're a Democrat, you're listening to show this is your
- 8:50Speaker 2: wake up call moment.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And if you're a Democrat in Florida.
- 8:53Speaker 2: The only way this works out is if people in
- 8:56Speaker 2: Florida are so angry over this, and I.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Do believe they should be a over this, But if they're.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So angry over it that refuse to give the Democratic
- 9:03Speaker 2: Party that just disenfranchised them their vote. Now, I don't
- 9:06Speaker 2: know if that will happen, right because by then people
- 9:09Speaker 2: be like, oh, well, we hate Donald Trump. If he's
- 9:12Speaker 2: the nominee, and there's every indication he's going to be
- 9:14Speaker 2: the nominee for the Republican Party, that that may be
- 9:17Speaker 2: enough to rally Democrats and to overlook this primary. But
- 9:21Speaker 2: you guys aren't voting for Democrats anymore. You're voting for socialists.
- 9:26Speaker 2: You're voting for dictators, You're voting for communists. The same
- 9:30Speaker 2: way that Democrats went full blown communists socialist dictatorship with
- 9:36Speaker 2: COVID nineteen and those lockdowns, they'll do it again. And
- 9:39Speaker 2: that's the point. Now they're doing it to Democrats. It
- 9:42Speaker 2: was cool and it was fun when they were doing
- 9:44Speaker 2: it to Republicans, right, and when they were doing it
- 9:46Speaker 2: to Trump supporters, that was fun. When you're impeaching a
- 9:50Speaker 2: guy that you didn't want to be president on information
- 9:52Speaker 2: you knew was a lie because you guys created it, right,
- 9:54Speaker 2: that was fun for Democrats. But now it's happening to
- 9:59Speaker 2: Democrats that aren't in the hierarchy of the dictatorship. And
- 10:03Speaker 2: you either learn from this or if you don't and
- 10:06Speaker 2: you give them more power because of it, that's on you.
- 10:09Speaker 2: You're the idiot if you continue to vote for these
- 10:12Speaker 2: guys that take away and disenfranchise your vote. Now we'll
- 10:15Speaker 2: see what happens. I don't have a lot of faith
- 10:17Speaker 2: in Democratic voters, full disclosure here, but I do think
- 10:20Speaker 2: that this is a moment where Democrats might want to
- 10:22Speaker 2: wake up and look and go, Okay, this party is dead.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It's not what it used to be, and now they're
- 10:29Speaker 2: taking away our right to decide who our leaders will be,
- 10:33Speaker 2: and we're not going to vote for people like that.
- 10:35Speaker 2: It's going to be a big moment for Democrats. They
- 10:38Speaker 2: can either stand up to the tyrants or they can
- 10:41Speaker 2: bow down to them like they're the dictators.
- 10:44Speaker 1: They are, it's their choice.
- 10:46Speaker 2: For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian,
- 10:49Speaker 2: conservative wireless provider. And when I say the only one,
- 10:53Speaker 2: I mean it, they're the only one. They make a
- 10:55Speaker 2: huge difference every time that you pay your bill because
- 10:58Speaker 2: they actually get back to conservative call and organizations to
- 11:02Speaker 2: help you stand up for what you believe in. While
- 11:05Speaker 2: you're paying a bill you're going to have anyways. This
- 11:09Speaker 2: is the part that I love about Patriot Mobile. They're
- 11:12Speaker 2: making a difference every time you pay your bill, every
- 11:15Speaker 2: time you make a phone call, every time that you
- 11:18Speaker 2: send a text message. Patriot Mobile actually gives money back
- 11:23Speaker 2: to protect First and Second Amendment rights, to protect the
- 11:26Speaker 2: lives of unborn children. And that's what they're doing right now,
- 11:30Speaker 2: is they celebrate their tenth anniversary. If you switch right
- 11:33Speaker 2: now to Patriot Mobile, they are going to give a
- 11:36Speaker 2: donation to help protect life and to help mothers choose
- 11:41Speaker 2: life to an organization that does everything they can to
- 11:44Speaker 2: protect the lives of unborn children. Then every month when
- 11:48Speaker 2: you pay your bill, they're going to continue to support
- 11:51Speaker 2: the causes that I just mentioned. And this is exactly
- 11:54Speaker 2: why you need to make the switch. If you're tired
- 11:57Speaker 2: of woke companies, switch your cell phone to Patriot Mobile.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Whether you are a business, a small business, or just
- 12:05Speaker 2: a family, you can switch, and they make switching easy.
- 12:09Speaker 2: They have a one hundred percent US based call center
- 12:12Speaker 2: making switching extremely easy. You're going to get nationwide coverage,
- 12:16Speaker 2: unlimited talking texts, and usually save real money on your bill.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Nine seven to two Patriot. It's nine seven to two Patriot,
- 12:23Speaker 2: nine seven to two Patriot. Or go online to Patriotmobile
- 12:27Speaker 2: dot com slash ben that's Patriot Mobile dot com slash
- 12:32Speaker 2: ben or nine seven to two Patriot. Now, I want
- 12:35Speaker 2: to move on to something else that's big now, and
- 12:37Speaker 2: that is this Anthony Fauci we're being told now is
- 12:40Speaker 2: going to appear before the House Pandemic Panel. Former White
- 12:46Speaker 2: House Medical Advisor Fauci will appear before the House Selects
- 12:50Speaker 2: Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in January to provide a
- 12:54Speaker 2: two day interview regarding his role in the public health
- 12:56Speaker 2: response during.
- 12:57Speaker 1: The COVID nineteen outbreak.
- 13:00Speaker 2: The transcribed interview, they say, will take place January the
- 13:03Speaker 2: eighth and ninth, and will involve seven hours of testimony
- 13:06Speaker 2: per day and attendance by two personal and two Governmental
- 13:11Speaker 2: Council members. Along with his interview, the subcommittee announced that
- 13:16Speaker 2: Fauci also agreed to testify later in twenty twenty four.
- 13:20Speaker 2: House Republicans have long stayed their intention to bring Fauci
- 13:23Speaker 2: in for testimony since he stepped down from government work
- 13:27Speaker 2: last year.
- 13:28Speaker 1: He also served as the director of.
- 13:30Speaker 2: The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for nearly
- 13:33Speaker 2: forty years, and when Fauci first announced his intentions to
- 13:37Speaker 2: step aside from his role, Representative Kevin McCarthy wrote on
- 13:40Speaker 2: social media that quote he owes the American people answers,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and the House GOP majority will hold him accountable now.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Fauci said at the time that he would fully.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Cooperate with House Republicans in their probe of the COVID
- 13:52Speaker 2: nineteen pandemic. Since stepping down, he has taken on a
- 13:55Speaker 2: role as a distinguished Professor at Georgetown University. Distinguished really
- 14:00Speaker 2: Doctor Fauci was the face of America's public health response
- 14:04Speaker 2: during the COVID nineteen pandemic, and his testimony will serve
- 14:07Speaker 2: as a crucial and critical component of the Select Subcommittee's
- 14:13Speaker 2: investigation to the origins of COVID nineteen also gain a
- 14:17Speaker 2: function type research, scientific censorship, and more. That is what
- 14:23Speaker 2: the subcommittee chair, brad Winstrup, a Republican from Ohio, said
- 14:27Speaker 2: in a statement. He also said that they were going
- 14:30Speaker 2: to ask him about coercive mandates and the mandates from
- 14:35Speaker 2: the US government, saying this it is time for doctor
- 14:39Speaker 2: Fauci to confront the facts and address the numerous controversies
- 14:43Speaker 2: that have arisen during and after the pandemic. Americans deserve
- 14:48Speaker 2: trusted public health leaders who prioritize the well being of
- 14:51Speaker 2: our people over any personal or political goals. Oho With
- 14:57Speaker 2: that being said, let me tell you something else just happened.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Coming out of Texas.
- 15:02Speaker 2: The Attorney General there Ken Paxton has sued Pheiser for
- 15:07Speaker 2: misrepresenting COVID nineteen vaccine efficiency and conspiring to censor public discourse.
- 15:18Speaker 2: This out of Austin, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxson has
- 15:22Speaker 2: sued Pfeiser for unlawfully misrepresenting the effectiveness of the company's
- 15:27Speaker 2: COVID nineteen vaccine and attempting to censor public discussion of
- 15:31Speaker 2: the product. The Attorney General's office has released this document.
- 15:37Speaker 2: They say that Peiser and they're accusing Peiser of engaging
- 15:41Speaker 2: in false, deceptive, and misleading acts and practices by making
- 15:46Speaker 2: unsupported claims regarding the company's COVID nineteen vaccine in violation
- 15:52Speaker 2: of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act. The pharmaceutical company's widespread
- 15:59Speaker 2: representation that its vaccine possessed a ninety five percent efficiency
- 16:05Speaker 2: against infection was highly misleading. That metric represented a calculation
- 16:10Speaker 2: of the so called relative risk reduction for vaccinated individuals
- 16:16Speaker 2: in Peiser's initial two month clinical trial results. The FDAs
- 16:21Speaker 2: publications indicated relative risk reduction is a misleading statistic that
- 16:26Speaker 2: unduly influences consumer choice. Peiser was also put on notice
- 16:31Speaker 2: at that time that vaccine protection could not accurately be
- 16:36Speaker 2: predicted beyond two months. Nevertheless, Peiser fostered a misleading impression
- 16:42Speaker 2: that vaccine protection was durable and purposely withheld from the
- 16:47Speaker 2: public information that undermined its claims about the duration of protection,
- 16:52Speaker 2: and despite the fact that its clinical trials failed to
- 16:55Speaker 2: measure whether the vaccine protects against transmission, Peiser embarked on
- 16:59Speaker 2: a massive campaign to intimidate the public into getting the
- 17:03Speaker 2: vaccine as a necessary measure to protect their loved ones.
- 17:07Speaker 2: And by the way, who conspired with Pfizer to do this,
- 17:12Speaker 2: none other than doctor Anthony fauci Ken Paxon goes on
- 17:18Speaker 2: to say from the Attorney General's Office in Texas. In fact,
- 17:21Speaker 2: Pfizer's product failed to live up to the company's representations.
- 17:25Speaker 2: COVID nineteen cases increased after widespread vaccine administration in some
- 17:32Speaker 2: areas saw a greater percentage of deaths from COVID nineteen
- 17:35Speaker 2: among the vaccinated population than the unvaccinated. When the failure
- 17:41Speaker 2: of its product became apparent, the AG's office is now
- 17:45Speaker 2: accusing Pfizer of this. Pfiser then pivoted to silencing truth tellers.
- 17:51Speaker 2: The lawsuit notes, quote, how did Pfiser respond when it
- 17:54Speaker 2: became apparent that its vaccine was failing and the viability
- 17:59Speaker 2: of its dash cow was threatened? The question asks, Here's
- 18:03Speaker 2: the answer, The AG accuses and says, quote by intimidating
- 18:08Speaker 2: those spreading the truth and by conspiring to censor its critics.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Pfiser labeled as criminals those who spread facts about the vaccine,
- 18:20Speaker 2: It accused them of spreading misinformation, and it cohers social
- 18:25Speaker 2: media platforms to silence prominent truth tellers. Finally, the AG's
- 18:31Speaker 2: office says this. We are pursuing justice for the people
- 18:34Speaker 2: of Texas, many of whom were coerced by tyrannical vaccine
- 18:38Speaker 2: mandates to take a defective product sold by lies, said
- 18:43Speaker 2: Attorney General Ken Paxson. The facts are clear Pfiser did
- 18:47Speaker 2: not tell the truth about their COVID nineteen vaccines, whereas
- 18:51Speaker 2: the Biden administration weaponized the pandemic to force illegal public
- 18:56Speaker 2: health decrees on the public and enriched pharmaceutical companies. Kim
- 19:02Speaker 2: Paxson said, quote, I will use every tool I have
- 19:05Speaker 2: to protect our citizens who were misled and harmed by
- 19:09Speaker 2: Pfizer's actions. The lawsuit follow his Attorney General Kim Paxon's
- 19:14Speaker 2: investigation into Pfiser and other vaccine manufacturers announced earlier this year.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Thank goodness, there are people like Kim Paxson who are
- 19:24Speaker 2: out there that are doing this and willing to fight
- 19:26Speaker 2: this fight. I want to get you to something else
- 19:30Speaker 2: that also is really important, and that is a response
- 19:34Speaker 2: now from the Houseoversite Committee from the demands that were
- 19:38Speaker 2: made this past week by Hunter Biden and his lawyers
- 19:41Speaker 2: that he would only testify in a public setting in
- 19:44Speaker 2: a public hearing well, The Houseoversite Committee has responded with
- 19:50Speaker 2: this no special treatment for hunter Biden, saying Hunter Biden
- 19:55Speaker 2: must comply with our subpoena and a peer for a
- 19:57Speaker 2: deposition we will not receive. He will not receive special
- 20:00Speaker 2: treatment or dictate how Congress conducts investigations. After Hunter Biden
- 20:06Speaker 2: sits down for a deposition, we will hold a public
- 20:08Speaker 2: hearing at a later date. Democrats should have no concern
- 20:11Speaker 2: with this process, as this is how they conducted their
- 20:15Speaker 2: impeachment inquiry of former President Donald Trump and the January
- 20:20Speaker 2: sixth Committee representative James Comer and Jim Jordan put a
- 20:25Speaker 2: full letter out to Abe Lowell, that is the man
- 20:28Speaker 2: representing Hunter Biden.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Here's what it says.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Dear mister Lowell, we received a letter dated November twenty
- 20:35Speaker 2: eighth of twenty twenty three concerning the deposition subpoenas issued to.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Your client, Robert Hunter Biden.
- 20:42Speaker 2: We appreciate your confirmation that mister Biden is available and
- 20:45Speaker 2: willing to testify on December the thirteenth, pursuing to the
- 20:49Speaker 2: terms of the subpoena, the rules of the House of Representatives,
- 20:52Speaker 2: and the respective committee rules. This testimony will occur initially
- 20:56Speaker 2: in a deposition setting as has been the consistent practice
- 21:00Speaker 2: of the Committee of the House of Representatives in recent Congresses,
- 21:04Speaker 2: during both Republican and Democrat majorities, as well as these
- 21:08Speaker 2: committees during this inquiry.
- 21:10Speaker 1: We also appreciate your.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Confirmation that mister Biden is willing to testify to public hearing.
- 21:16Speaker 2: We look forward to his testimony in a hearing at
- 21:18Speaker 2: the appropriate time. Your recent letter makes several baseless and
- 21:22Speaker 2: misleading assertions that we are compelled to clarify.
- 21:26Speaker 1: It implies that the Committee.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Has no valid legislative purpose for these subpoenas. Any such
- 21:34Speaker 2: assertion is incorrect. The Supreme Court is recognized that Congress
- 21:38Speaker 2: had has a broad and indispensable power to conduct oversight,
- 21:44Speaker 2: which encompasses inquiries into the administration of existing laws, studies
- 21:50Speaker 2: of proposed laws, and surveys in our social, economic, or
- 21:54Speaker 2: political system for the purpose of enabling Congress to remedy them.
- 21:59Speaker 4: As.
- 22:00Speaker 2: As we have explained, the committees require mister Biden's testimony
- 22:04Speaker 2: to inform potential legislative reforms relating to federal ethics and
- 22:09Speaker 2: financial disclosure laws. In addition, the committees are investigating whether
- 22:14Speaker 2: sufficient grounds exist to draft articles of impeachment against President Biden.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Based on evidence received to date showing that President Biden
- 22:23Speaker 2: was aware of at least some of his family's business
- 22:27Speaker 2: ventures and sought to influence potential business deals that financially
- 22:31Speaker 2: benefited his family. The letter goes on to say this,
- 22:36Speaker 2: you also suggest that there is no evidence to support
- 22:39Speaker 2: a finding that mister Biden's business dealings implicated the official
- 22:45Speaker 2: actions of his father. This is contrary to the facts
- 22:49Speaker 2: already established throughout the investigation. As we have detailed in
- 22:54Speaker 2: the memorandum explaining the scope of the impeachment inquiry, witnesses
- 22:59Speaker 2: have tified not only that mister Biden sold the Biden brand,
- 23:04Speaker 2: but also to how mister Biden placed his father on
- 23:07Speaker 2: speakerphone twenty times huh twenty times with business associates, and
- 23:15Speaker 2: how he introduced his father in person during business meetings
- 23:19Speaker 2: with foreign business partners.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Furthermore, records from.
- 23:24Speaker 2: An FBI confidential human source detailed a bribery scheme in
- 23:29Speaker 2: which President Biden allegedly participated with his son. Despite your bluster,
- 23:34Speaker 2: the evidence remains undisputed. Your letter is merely an extension
- 23:39Speaker 2: of your coordinated campaign to discredit the allegations against mister
- 23:43Speaker 2: Biden distort the truth and attack the integrity of witnesses
- 23:48Speaker 2: against mister Biden. In June of twenty twenty three, you
- 23:52Speaker 2: wrote to the Houseways and Means Committee asserting without evidence
- 23:56Speaker 2: that two IRS whistleblowers had violated federal law by making
- 24:01Speaker 2: protected whistleblower disclosures. You slandered these brave Irs whistleblowers as
- 24:08Speaker 2: disgruntled agents with an ax to grind and suggest it
- 24:12Speaker 2: again without evidence, that these men were responsible for leaks
- 24:16Speaker 2: to media outlets. You and mister Biden's former attorney, Chris
- 24:20Speaker 2: Clark also demanded that senior Justice Department officials federal employees
- 24:27Speaker 2: who served at the pleasure of mister Biden's father criminally
- 24:31Speaker 2: investigate and prosecute witnesses against mister Biden. Your attempts to
- 24:37Speaker 2: now bully and intimidate the committees will not stand. James
- 24:42Speaker 2: Comer Jim Jordan's go on to say this, mister Biden's
- 24:46Speaker 2: attempt to avoid sitting for a deposition pursue it to
- 24:50Speaker 2: the terms of the subpoenas by offering instead to testify
- 24:54Speaker 2: at a public hearing amounts to a demand that he
- 24:58Speaker 2: received special treatment from the committee. Mister Biden will not
- 25:03Speaker 2: succeed in attempting to dictate to the committees how they
- 25:07Speaker 2: conduct their investigations. The subpoenas mister Biden has received compel
- 25:12Speaker 2: him to appear before the Committee for a deposition. They
- 25:16Speaker 2: are not mere suggestions open to mister Biden's interpretation or preference.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Several Justice Department, FBI, and IRS officials have testified in
- 25:27Speaker 2: transcribed interviews and deposition settings, as has Devin Archer, mister
- 25:34Speaker 2: Biden's business associate. Notably, other Hunter Biden business associates are
- 25:40Speaker 2: also cooperating with our subpoenas and not demanding a public hearing. First,
- 25:45Speaker 2: mister Biden seems to believe that he should be treated
- 25:49Speaker 2: differently than other witnesses before the committees. Nonetheless, if it
- 25:54Speaker 2: helps to alleviate your stated concerns, you should be aware
- 25:59Speaker 2: of that assistant with House and Committee rules and practices,
- 26:03Speaker 2: we intend to videotape the deposition and release the deposition
- 26:07Speaker 2: transcripts soon after its completion. The Committee's investigation. We'll proceed
- 26:15Speaker 2: without interference or obstruction. Please confirm by December the fourth
- 26:19Speaker 2: your client's attendance at the deposition schedule for December the thirteenth,
- 26:23Speaker 2: and the Rayburn House Office building sincerely James Comer, Chairman
- 26:27Speaker 2: Committee on Oversight and Accountability, and signed by Jim Jordan,
- 26:31Speaker 2: Chairman Committee on the Judiciary. So they're calling the Biden's
- 26:37Speaker 2: bluff and they're also saying in this letter, no special
- 26:40Speaker 2: treatment for Hunter Biden. We're not going to allow you
- 26:43Speaker 2: to have that special treatment that you want. We're not
- 26:46Speaker 2: going to allow you to do this. We're not going
- 26:47Speaker 2: to allow you to say this like, We're just not
- 26:50Speaker 2: gonna know. This isn't going to happen. Okay, this is
- 26:54Speaker 2: you think you can bully us, You're wrong. You think
- 26:56Speaker 2: you can get away with us, You're wrong. You think
- 26:59Speaker 2: that you can somehow dictate. No, he's going to be
- 27:02Speaker 2: treated like everybody else exactly the same way. And again
- 27:08Speaker 2: that is exactly how this should go. This really isn't
- 27:12Speaker 2: I want to be clear about this. This really really
- 27:16Speaker 2: really really really isn't that controversial. Okay, this just makes
- 27:21Speaker 2: good sense to me. This is just something that to
- 27:25Speaker 2: me makes a lot of sense. And I will say
- 27:30Speaker 2: that James Comer and Jim Jordan are handling this with
- 27:33Speaker 2: the professionalism that they should and also calling them out saying,
- 27:37Speaker 2: all right, you guys want to play this game let's
- 27:39Speaker 2: play this game. You want to do this, then let's
- 27:43Speaker 2: do this. James Comer saying this before the cameras as
- 27:47Speaker 2: he walked out of his office earlier today.
- 27:50Speaker 4: We know if Hunter Biden has changed his mind and
- 27:53Speaker 4: decided to appear for a closed door transcribed meeting with
- 27:56Speaker 4: your commissary.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I don't know if he's says this about or not.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 28:00Speaker 4: He has a subpoena to come here on the thirteenth
- 28:02Speaker 4: for a deposition. We expect him to come here on
- 28:05Speaker 4: the thirteenth for deposition, and then we'll have the public
- 28:08Speaker 4: hearing that everyone wants to have.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Remember, he's not special in our committee's hearings. God bless
- 28:16Speaker 2: these men for sending up and doing what they're doing here. Finally,
