- 0:04Speaker 2: It's so nice to have you with us. Many of
- 0:06Speaker 2: you are listening on radio stations around the country to
- 0:08Speaker 2: this show as well. We welcome you in and we
- 0:11Speaker 2: want to say don't forget download Vertic with Ted Cruz
- 0:14Speaker 2: wherever you get your podcast is. We do the show
- 0:17Speaker 2: three days a week.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Center.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We've got breaking news and it is a major world event,
- 0:24Speaker 2: Israel going after Iran, hitting targets there. This is obviously
- 0:30Speaker 2: woken a lot of people up around the world. As
- 0:32Speaker 2: we're doing this show.
- 0:33Speaker 3: We are gathered right now at a time of war,
- 0:35Speaker 3: that time when Israel is striking back at Iran, striking
- 0:39Speaker 3: back to ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.
- 0:42Speaker 3: And you and I are recording this podcast at is
- 0:45Speaker 3: twelve oh seven am on Friday morning, So the events
- 0:48Speaker 3: may change in the next forty eight hours, but at
- 0:51Speaker 3: twelve oh seven am, the war is just unfolding and
- 0:55Speaker 3: we're seeing what's happening, and what's happening so far. Israel
- 0:59Speaker 3: strikes by by the early reports, have been enormously effective.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Israel has taken out the chief of the IRGC Israel
- 1:08Speaker 3: has taken out the successor to the chief of the IRGC.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Israel has decimated the Tons, a major nuclear site in Iran,
- 1:17Speaker 3: and Israel is carrying out multiple military strikes right now
- 1:21Speaker 3: as we speak. Now, I will say, by the time
- 1:24Speaker 3: you listen to this podcast, it may be Friday during
- 1:26Speaker 3: the day and you're listening to the podcast. It may
- 1:29Speaker 3: be Saturday or Sunday and you're listening to this show
- 1:31Speaker 3: on the radio. Things may have changed by then. But
- 1:34Speaker 3: right now we are seeing war in the Middle East.
- 1:38Speaker 3: We are seeing Israel acting decisively to protect herself. And
- 1:43Speaker 3: I will say there are several messages that every one
- 1:45Speaker 3: of us need to hear, but the two that are
- 1:46Speaker 3: most important. Our number one, America stands unequivocally with the
- 1:53Speaker 3: state of Israel. We are with Israel and her right
- 1:56Speaker 3: to defend herself with no daylight whatsoever. Two a message
- 2:02Speaker 3: to the Iyatola.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We have an.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Enormous number of American servicemen and women in harm's way
- 2:08Speaker 3: in the Middle East. The Iatola needs to understand if
- 2:12Speaker 3: you strike out and attack American servicemen and women, if
- 2:16Speaker 3: you kill even a single American servicemen or women, I
- 2:21Speaker 3: am absolutely confident President Trump will respond with overwhelming force,
- 2:26Speaker 3: and so the Iyahtola should know, do not attack America
- 2:31Speaker 3: as a response to this military assault.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Amen to that.
- 2:34Speaker 2: And look, this is such a hard time right now
- 2:37Speaker 2: for so many in Israel, and so many that listen
- 2:40Speaker 2: to the show have asks what can I do to help?
- 2:43Speaker 2: How do I stand with the people in Israel? They
- 2:45Speaker 2: need our help now more than ever. And that's why
- 2:47Speaker 2: I want you to get involved with an organization that
- 2:50Speaker 2: I'm heavily involved with. It's called the International Fellowship of
- 2:53Speaker 2: Christians and Jews. And we are seeing something that's disturbing,
- 2:56Speaker 2: anti Semitism on the rise around the world. Sadly right
- 3:01Speaker 2: here in America. You have seen Jewish schools that have
- 3:03Speaker 2: been targeted, synagogues that have been threatened, families that are
- 3:06Speaker 2: living in fear. And that's happening in the US. Imagine
- 3:10Speaker 2: what's happening right now in Israel. And that's why I
- 3:13Speaker 2: want you to know about the International Fellowship of Christians
- 3:16Speaker 2: and Jews. They're on the front lines and they're providing
- 3:19Speaker 2: hope and help when it is needed the most, especially
- 3:22Speaker 2: right now, they're giving food and shelter to Jewish families
- 3:26Speaker 2: that are under threat. They are building countless bomb shelters
- 3:31Speaker 2: for children to keep them safe. In Israel, they're helping
- 3:35Speaker 2: survivors of hate rebuild their lives. And they don't just
- 3:37Speaker 2: respond to crisis, they work every day to prevent it. Now,
- 3:41Speaker 2: your gift of only forty five dollars not only will
- 3:45Speaker 2: help support life saving work by providing food and shelter
- 3:49Speaker 2: and bomb shelters and armored vehicles, but it will give
- 3:52Speaker 2: them peace knowing that there are people standing with the
- 3:57Speaker 2: people in Israel. So if you've thought of out helping,
- 4:00Speaker 2: now is the time to do it. Call them and
- 4:03Speaker 2: make a donation eight eight eight for eight eight IFCJ.
- 4:08Speaker 2: That's eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five.
- 4:13Speaker 2: You can also go online to IFCJ dot org.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Every dollar truly does help.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Don't wait be the difference of his IFCJ dot orger
- 4:23Speaker 2: eight at eight for eight eight IFCJ Right now, All right, Senator,
- 4:28Speaker 2: so let's start with the basic question, and that is
- 4:33Speaker 2: what how did this begin? What have you learned being
- 4:38Speaker 2: in Washington, d C. About this strike on these Iranian
- 4:41Speaker 2: nuclear sites and military targets. What do you know tonight
- 4:44Speaker 2: that that you can tell people listening.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Well, let me say, first of all, I believe this
- 4:50Speaker 3: attack was inevitable, that Iran was hell bent on acquiring
- 4:56Speaker 3: nuclear weapons. President Trump said repeatedly and unequipped that the
- 5:01Speaker 3: only option for Iran was a complete and total dismantlement
- 5:06Speaker 3: of their centrifuges, of their enrichment capacity, of their ability
- 5:10Speaker 3: to enrich uranium. I led a letter with fifty two
- 5:14Speaker 3: Republican senators where we said, united, we agree with President Trump.
- 5:19Speaker 3: This is the red line, complete and total dismantlement of
- 5:23Speaker 3: their nuclear capacity. Now, what President Trump said is there's
- 5:27Speaker 3: two ways they can do this. One they can do
- 5:29Speaker 3: so peacefully through negotiations, and that's what the Trump administration
- 5:33Speaker 3: was trying to do. Or two, if they refuse to dismantle,
- 5:38Speaker 3: they will have the centrifugees dismantled through warfare. Well, this morning,
- 5:46Speaker 3: the Iranian regime announced it was not going to shut
- 5:49Speaker 3: down even a single centrifuge. Instead, it was going to
- 5:52Speaker 3: build more. That they were hell bent on building more centrifuges,
- 5:56Speaker 3: enriching more uranium, and they were on the path to
- 5:59Speaker 3: a nucle weapon. And I got to say, Ben, the
- 6:02Speaker 3: consequences of the statements this morning were Number one, there
- 6:08Speaker 3: were a gigantic middle frank finger to President Trump. They
- 6:11Speaker 3: were saying, we don't care what you say. We want
- 6:14Speaker 3: nuclear weapons, and we're not gonna be dissuaded. We're not
- 6:17Speaker 3: gonna be deterred. But number two, they were a very
- 6:19Speaker 3: clear message to Israel, attack us now, because we are
- 6:24Speaker 3: barreling towards acquiring a nuclear weapon, and if you wait,
- 6:28Speaker 3: you may find yourself with an enemy that has a
- 6:30Speaker 3: nuclear weapon and that can detonated over the skies of
- 6:34Speaker 3: Israel and kill millions of Israelis. And so Iran set
- 6:38Speaker 3: us on this course, and the government of Israel is
- 6:41Speaker 3: acting to keep the people of Israel safe. But it
- 6:45Speaker 3: is nonetheless an extraordinarily perilous time for Israel, for America,
- 6:50Speaker 3: and for the world.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Sara, you just mentioned that this was inevitable, and it
- 6:54Speaker 2: does feel like it was a long time coming, and
- 6:57Speaker 2: there was a question of who was going to do it.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Was it gonna be America, was it going to be Israel.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Clearly now we know this is Israel that is launching
- 7:04Speaker 2: this preempt to strike, and some would even argue this
- 7:07Speaker 2: was long overdue.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yes, and I will say President Trump announced on April twelfth,
- 7:14Speaker 3: that Iran has sixty days to negotiate and agree to
- 7:18Speaker 3: this sixty days. This attack was launched on June twelfth, Thursday,
- 7:23Speaker 3: June twelfth, exactly sixty days after that. That is not
- 7:28Speaker 3: an accident. Iran understood they had a timeframe, but you
- 7:32Speaker 3: got to understand the Iranians when they negotiate, they want
- 7:34Speaker 3: to delay. They want to delay, they want to continue
- 7:37Speaker 3: to reap the benefits of Joe Biden and the Democrats
- 7:41Speaker 3: weakness and appeasement and fuel the money that they received
- 7:46Speaker 3: into developing nuclear weapons. And so Israel made the decision.
- 7:50Speaker 3: They made the decision they were going to attack. They
- 7:52Speaker 3: were going to attack on exactly the sixty day expiration
- 7:55Speaker 3: of President Trump's deadline. And I think that was driven
- 7:59Speaker 3: by Iran beginning Thursday by saying we're not changing a
- 8:04Speaker 3: damn thing. We're gonna keep building centrifuges and effectively we
- 8:09Speaker 3: want a nuclear weapon and there's nothing you can do
- 8:11Speaker 3: to stop us. Israel acted to demonstrate that was not right.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Senator, I want to also remind people we do the
- 8:17Speaker 2: show as a podcast, so you can grab it three
- 8:19Speaker 2: days a week wherever you get your podcasts. Don't forget
- 8:21Speaker 2: subscribed to vertict with Ted Cruz. And let's get into
- 8:24Speaker 2: what Netnya who had to say as well, Senator netna
- 8:27Speaker 2: who came out and was and spoke very boldly, not
- 8:30Speaker 2: just to the people in Israel, but also to the world.
- 8:33Speaker 3: So on Thursday evening, as the military strike was beginning,
- 8:37Speaker 3: Prime Minster Netnyah who addressed Israel and addressed the world.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Here's what he had to say.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Moments ago, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, a targeted military
- 8:49Speaker 4: operation to roll back the Uranian threat to Israel's very survival.
- 8:55Speaker 4: This operation will continue for as many days as it
- 8:58Speaker 4: takes to remove this threat. For decades, the tyrants of
- 9:02Speaker 4: Tehran have brazenly openly called for Israel's destruction. They've backed
- 9:08Speaker 4: up their genocidal rhetoric with a program to develop nuclear weapons.
- 9:13Speaker 4: In recent years, Iran is produced enough highly enriched uranium
- 9:18Speaker 4: for nine atom bombs. Nine In recent months, Iran has
- 9:23Speaker 4: taken steps that it has never taken before, steps to
- 9:27Speaker 4: weaponize this enriched uranium, and if not stopped, Iran could
- 9:31Speaker 4: produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time. It
- 9:34Speaker 4: could be a year, it could be within a few months,
- 9:37Speaker 4: less than a year. This is a clear and present
- 9:40Speaker 4: danger to Israel's very survival. Eighty years ago, the Jewish
- 9:45Speaker 4: people were the victims of a holocaust perpetrated by the
- 9:49Speaker 4: Nazi regime. Today, the Jewish state refuses to be a
- 9:53Speaker 4: victim of a nuclear holocaust perpetrated by the Uranian regime.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Now its prime minister. I've made it clear time it again.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Israel will never allow those who call for our annihilation
- 10:07Speaker 4: to develop the means to achieve that goal. Tonight, Israel
- 10:10Speaker 4: backs those words with action. We struck at the heart
- 10:14Speaker 4: of Iran's nuclear enrichment program. We struck at the heart
- 10:18Speaker 4: of Iran's nuclear weaponization program. We targeted Iran's main enrichment
- 10:23Speaker 4: facility in Atans. We targeted Iran's leading nuclear scientists working
- 10:28Speaker 4: on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart
- 10:30Speaker 4: of Iran's ballistic missile program. Last year, Iran fired three
- 10:35Speaker 4: hundred ballistic missiles at Israel. Each of these missiles carries
- 10:40Speaker 4: a ton of explosives and threatens the lives of hundreds
- 10:44Speaker 4: of people. Soon, those missiles could carry a nuclear payload,
- 10:49Speaker 4: threatening the lives not of hundreds, but of millions. Iran
- 10:53Speaker 4: is gearing up to produce ten thousands of those ballistic
- 10:56Speaker 4: missiles within three years. Now, just imagine imagine ten tons
- 11:03Speaker 4: of TNT landing on a country the size of New Jersey.
- 11:08Speaker 4: This is an intolerable threat. It too must be stopped.
- 11:13Speaker 2: You listen to Netnahu there, and not only was he
- 11:16Speaker 2: very queer and direct, but it was I think a
- 11:19Speaker 2: argument that if you're a sane person wherever you are
- 11:23Speaker 2: in the world, and you're looking at the position that
- 11:25Speaker 2: Israel is in with a Ran next door, they had
- 11:28Speaker 2: no choice but.
- 11:29Speaker 1: To do this.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Yes.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Look, as you know, I know Prime Minister Netne who
- 11:34Speaker 3: very well. He is a friend. We've spent a lot
- 11:37Speaker 3: of time together. When he was in DC last month,
- 11:41Speaker 3: he and I spent two almost two and a half
- 11:43Speaker 3: hours together, just one on one. I will tell you,
- 11:47Speaker 3: in the thirteen years i've been in the Senate, I've
- 11:49Speaker 3: met a lot of world leaders. That's part of the job,
- 11:51Speaker 3: as you meet the leaders of foreign countries. There is
- 11:55Speaker 3: only one who has taking my breath away, Prime Minister Netna,
- 12:01Speaker 3: who the adjective I've used for him I've not used
- 12:03Speaker 3: for anyone else is Churchillian. Because I think he has
- 12:08Speaker 3: a seriousness of purpose. I think he has a gravitas.
- 12:11Speaker 3: He understands that he is facing literally a threat to
- 12:15Speaker 3: annihilate the people of his country, and he is committed
- 12:19Speaker 3: to doing everything necessary to prevent it. You know, I'll
- 12:22Speaker 3: tell you when Obama was president, and when Obama was
- 12:25Speaker 3: negotiating and announcing the Obama Iran nuclear Deal, which was
- 12:31Speaker 3: catastrophically devastating, the House of Representatives invited Prime Minister Netna
- 12:36Speaker 3: who to come and address a joint session of Congress.
- 12:40Speaker 3: And when that happened, I invited Ellie Wizel, who is
- 12:44Speaker 3: the Nobel Laureate, incredible, incredible man, to come participate in
- 12:49Speaker 3: a conversation with me on what the threat of a
- 12:52Speaker 3: nuclear Iran was.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Now.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Ellie, he wanted it to be very mache bipartisan event.
- 12:59Speaker 3: So I invited Chuck Schumer to participate.
- 13:02Speaker 1: He said no.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I invited multiple Democrats to participate, one after the other
- 13:09Speaker 3: after the other. They sayed said no. Finally I told Ellie,
- 13:12Speaker 3: no Democrat will participate. We did a gathering in the Capitol.
- 13:16Speaker 3: We had over five hundred people come in the Capital.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Listen Ellie Wizzel talk about his experiences seeing the horrors
- 13:24Speaker 3: of the Holocaust, seeing the horrors of evil and Nazi Germany.
- 13:29Speaker 3: And I got to say when Ellie was l talked
- 13:32Speaker 3: about never again means never again and the greatest threat
- 13:37Speaker 3: of another holocaust on planet Earth is a nuclear Iran
- 13:42Speaker 3: where these theocratic lunatics use nuclear weapons to murder millions
- 13:48Speaker 3: of Israelis.
- 13:49Speaker 4: It was powerful.
- 13:51Speaker 3: It took my breath away to be sitting at the
- 13:53Speaker 3: table with him. But it also spoke volumes that not
- 13:57Speaker 3: a single Democrat was willing to be in the room.
- 13:59Speaker 3: And I'll tell you about so. On that speech on
- 14:02Speaker 3: the Senate floor, I was there. I listened to Prime
- 14:04Speaker 3: Minister net Yahu's speech, which was powerful, it was incredibly important,
- 14:08Speaker 3: and we saw a vast number of Democrats boycott the speech,
- 14:14Speaker 3: refuse to attend. We saw that again when when when
- 14:16Speaker 3: the Prime Minister addressed Congress more recently, and again Democrats
- 14:21Speaker 3: boycott of the speech. Kamala Harris boycott of the speech,
- 14:24Speaker 3: refused to listen to the democratically elected leader of Israel.
- 14:28Speaker 3: And it is a sad dynamic that today's Democrat party
- 14:33Speaker 3: is dominated by the Prohamas faction. Today's Democrat Party isn't
- 14:38Speaker 3: panic because right now, far too many of their radicals
- 14:42Speaker 3: sympathize with Iran over Israel and that that may sound
- 14:46Speaker 3: like hyperbole, but you know what we are going to see.
- 14:50Speaker 3: I'm going to predict this, you and I. This is
- 14:51Speaker 3: this is early Friday morning. We are going to see
- 14:55Speaker 3: Democrat after Democrat saying to Israel, un need to restrain yourself,
- 15:01Speaker 3: not calling out Iran, but calling out Israel, because that
- 15:05Speaker 3: is where the dank on Israel that party is.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yes, Yeah, after the attack, they've came out and said
- 15:10Speaker 2: they must show restraint, before they'd even been able to
- 15:12Speaker 2: figure out what had happened in Israel're like, well, they
- 15:14Speaker 2: need to show restraint, They must show restrained.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Everything the Biden administration over and over again said, do
- 15:20Speaker 3: not kill the terrorists, do not kill the terrorists. They
- 15:22Speaker 3: cut off weapons to Israel. The radical left in the
- 15:26Speaker 3: Democrat Party hates Israel, and that battle is only.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Going to get worse.
- 15:33Speaker 2: One of the things I love about doing the show
- 15:34Speaker 2: Center is moments after this attack took place Israel on Iran,
- 15:41Speaker 2: you were actually on the phone with the ambassador from Israel.
- 15:44Speaker 2: What did he tell you about this attack? How long
- 15:47Speaker 2: had they been planning this, What was the final decision
- 15:50Speaker 2: that made this happen in the last several hours.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Well, understand, this show happens real time. It happens real
- 15:58Speaker 3: time in real life. You and I are recording this
- 16:01Speaker 3: early in the morning Friday morning. This podcast will come
- 16:03Speaker 3: out later in the day on Friday. So some of
- 16:05Speaker 3: you will be listening to this on Friday, others of
- 16:08Speaker 3: you will be hearing this on radio on Saturday or Sunday.
- 16:11Speaker 3: And so the world may have changed forty eight hours.
- 16:14Speaker 3: At the time when a war is initiating, it is
- 16:17Speaker 3: a mountain of time. What I can tell you is
- 16:21Speaker 3: late Thursday night, as Israel was launching it its attacks,
- 16:24Speaker 3: before Iran has engaged in a counterattack, I was on
- 16:29Speaker 3: the phone with the Israeli ambassador of the United States
- 16:32Speaker 3: and he told me that the attack at least so far,
- 16:36Speaker 3: had gone extraordinarily well, that they'd taken out senior leadership
- 16:40Speaker 3: of the IRGC. And I got to say, by the way,
- 16:42Speaker 3: that's a huge victory for the United States of America.
- 16:46Speaker 3: The IRGC has murdered over six hundred American servicemen and women.
- 16:53Speaker 3: They are grotesquely hostile to the United States, and for
- 16:57Speaker 3: Israel to take them out, it has enormous bend fit
- 17:00Speaker 3: to America. But at the same time, the Israeli ambassador
- 17:03Speaker 3: told me that the instruction had gone out in Israel
- 17:07Speaker 3: to the people of Israel go to a bomb shelter,
- 17:10Speaker 3: either be in a bomb shelter or be very near
- 17:13Speaker 3: a bomb shelter, because they are anticipating early in the
- 17:17Speaker 3: morning Friday morning, that Iran is going to launch a
- 17:21Speaker 3: massive counterattack with ballistic weapons. And Israel has extensive anti
- 17:28Speaker 3: missile defenses, but Iran has sufficient volume that if they
- 17:32Speaker 3: launch everything, they have the capacity to overwhelm the defenses,
- 17:36Speaker 3: and so there is a very real possibility. The people
- 17:38Speaker 3: of Israel are braced. They understand. Look, look that they're
- 17:42Speaker 3: not playing they're not playing games that they are playing
- 17:47Speaker 3: with real stakes. They're playing with live rounds. The people
- 17:50Speaker 3: of Israel understand right now, as you and I are
- 17:53Speaker 3: recording this, that we may see Israeli's die right now,
- 17:57Speaker 3: because Iran has enough missiles that if they launched them all,
- 18:01Speaker 3: there will be Israeli's murdered in the minutes and hours
- 18:05Speaker 3: ahead of us. But at the same time, Prime Minister Netanyah,
- 18:09Speaker 3: who made the decision, it's a decision I agree with.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It's a decision that I think was right, which is
- 18:15Speaker 3: the risk of Israelis dying and of Americans dying if
- 18:20Speaker 3: Iran acquires a nuclear weapon is qualitatively different that we
- 18:25Speaker 3: could face. With an Iranian nuclear weapon, we could face
- 18:30Speaker 3: millions murdered. And so listen, I want to underscore what
- 18:35Speaker 3: I said at the beginning of this podcast. Pray for
- 18:38Speaker 3: the people of Israel and pray for our servicemen and
- 18:41Speaker 3: women in har harm's way, because this is a very
- 18:44Speaker 3: very dangerous time.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Right now, Well, let's talk about who is targeted and
- 18:48Speaker 2: what this looks like moving forward from the standpoint of Israel.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I mean, the objective here is clearly to put them
- 18:54Speaker 2: back when it comes to a nuclear program, but they
- 18:57Speaker 2: also went after people that were involved in that program,
- 18:59Speaker 2: which is a really big way to move things backwards.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Look, this was a decapitation strike. It was targeted the
- 19:07Speaker 3: senior military leaders in Iran. It was targeted at the
- 19:11Speaker 3: nuclear facilities in Iran, it was targeted at the anti
- 19:16Speaker 3: air assault facilities in Iran. It was a very targeted
- 19:21Speaker 3: but massively effective strike. Now Iran is going to strike back.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Understand that that that's not a possibility or a probability
- 19:31Speaker 3: it is a certainty that Iran will hit back. Now,
- 19:34Speaker 3: what I hope Iran understands is they should not hit
- 19:37Speaker 3: back at America. Hitting back at America would escalate this dramatically.
- 19:42Speaker 3: And I will say the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio,
- 19:46Speaker 3: he put out a statement Thursday night. Let me read
- 19:48Speaker 3: his statement. Quote tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran.
- 19:55Speaker 3: We were not involved in strikes against Iran, and our
- 19:59Speaker 3: top priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel
- 20:03Speaker 3: advised us that they believe this action was necessary for
- 20:06Speaker 3: its self defense. President Trump and the Administration have taken
- 20:10Speaker 3: all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in
- 20:14Speaker 3: close contact with our regional partners. Let me be clear,
- 20:19Speaker 3: Iran should not target US interests or personnel. Now. Look,
- 20:26Speaker 3: I'm glad that the Secretary of State was putting out
- 20:29Speaker 3: that statement defending our servicemen and women. I wish there
- 20:33Speaker 3: had been more in that statement saying we stand with Israel.
- 20:35Speaker 3: That was missing from the statement, and it shouldn't have been.
- 20:40Speaker 3: From my perspective, we stand unequivocally with Israel. But I
- 20:43Speaker 3: understand why the Secretary of State didn't do that, which
- 20:47Speaker 3: is that he's concerned that Iran may strike at US
- 20:52Speaker 3: military forces. Now, in my view, the way to prevent
- 20:56Speaker 3: that is not to say to Iran, hey, we had
- 20:58Speaker 3: nothing to do with That was the main theme of
- 21:02Speaker 3: the Secretary of State's statement, but rather to say, if
- 21:07Speaker 3: you attack US forces, the consequences will be overwhelming. I
- 21:11Speaker 3: think Iran responds more to stick than the carrot. But
- 21:17Speaker 3: we shall see, and it is any way you look
- 21:19Speaker 3: at it, on unbelievably dangerous time.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Senator, Let's talk about some of the people that have
- 21:26Speaker 2: been taken out here. There's two aspects of these strikes. One,
- 21:30Speaker 2: nuclear scientists are being reported that they were targeted and
- 21:33Speaker 2: have been killed, and that is the brains of the
- 21:37Speaker 2: nuclear program. If you want to stop Iran from doing this,
- 21:40Speaker 2: taking out new nuclear scientists is absolutely brilliant. It's the
- 21:44Speaker 2: computer system, the nervous system of everything they're trying to accomplish.
- 21:48Speaker 2: That's incredible. But we also now know from virtually every
- 21:53Speaker 2: news agency is reporting this that the IRGC tear chief Salami,
- 21:57Speaker 2: has also been eliminated.
- 22:00Speaker 1: That is significant as well.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Well. We now know that Hussein Salami is lunch meat,
- 22:06Speaker 3: and I feel a little cheesy making fun of him.
- 22:10Speaker 3: But then again, the guy is a racist, genocidal, homicidal, lunatic.
- 22:17Speaker 3: So I hope after Salami, Beloni and Pastrami both get
- 22:21Speaker 3: eliminated as well. And if you look at the head
- 22:27Speaker 3: of the IRGC, he has responsibility for murdering over six
- 22:35Speaker 3: hundred US servicemen and women. So if you love the
- 22:39Speaker 3: men and women of the Armed Services, if you are
- 22:41Speaker 3: grateful for friends, family, loved ones who serve defending this nation,
- 22:47Speaker 3: then you ought to say tonight to the nation of Israel,
- 22:50Speaker 3: thank you, thank you for taking out the head of
- 22:52Speaker 3: the IRGC that is responsible for murdering hundreds of American
- 22:57Speaker 3: servicemen and women. President Trump when he was president the
- 23:01Speaker 3: first time, he took out General Solimani, and now today
- 23:06Speaker 3: the Israelis have taken out Solami a successor who is
- 23:11Speaker 3: the terror chief of the IRGC, and he is now
- 23:15Speaker 3: with his seventy two versions. So that I will tell you,
- 23:18Speaker 3: much to his dismay, those virgins are all Gomer Pyle
- 23:22Speaker 3: and it's not what he hoped for.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I got to say. One of the best parts about
- 23:25Speaker 1: this story.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Just side note, if you look up Insamami on his
- 23:29Speaker 2: pages on the Wikipedia, it already says, he's like the
- 23:34Speaker 2: former guy in charge of the IRGC.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I love the Internet when they get it right really quickly. Center.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It is amazing to see this moment in history, because
- 23:42Speaker 2: this is a moment in history. And I got to
- 23:45Speaker 2: ask you this, Aran now is going to respond. I'm
- 23:48Speaker 2: sure in some way. I'm sure Israel is expecting that.
- 23:52Speaker 2: You made it very clear to night America's warning and
- 23:55Speaker 2: from this administration. What happens next and what is Israel
- 24:01Speaker 2: expecting in your mind.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Well, it depends on the escalation. I think it is
- 24:05Speaker 3: one hundred percent certain that Iran will respond by firing
- 24:09Speaker 3: missiles at Israel. Israel gets that, they understand that they're
- 24:13Speaker 3: ready for that. There is some real possibility that Iran
- 24:18Speaker 3: will respond by firing missiles or other weapons at Americans.
- 24:22Speaker 3: And I think if they do that, they will dramatically
- 24:25Speaker 3: escalate this conflict. I think they will provoke. If they
- 24:28Speaker 3: murder American servicemen and women, I think you will see
- 24:31Speaker 3: President Trump respond with devastating force. And so again my
- 24:35Speaker 3: message to the IATOLA is, do not do that. Their
- 24:39Speaker 3: response to Israel, I don't know what it will be.
- 24:42Speaker 3: There is a risk that their response is devastating that
- 24:46Speaker 3: it is overwhelming. They have a massive number of ballistic missiles,
- 24:51Speaker 3: so if they fire them, all the odds are significant
- 24:54Speaker 3: that we will see a very large number of Israelis murdered.
- 24:58Speaker 3: What I'm saying, Prime Minister Netanyah, who understands he knows that.
- 25:04Speaker 3: He knows that, but by virtue of engaging this attack tonight,
- 25:07Speaker 3: there's a real risk of a significant number of Israelis
- 25:10Speaker 3: being murdered. But he did this because he knows that
- 25:15Speaker 3: if Iran has a nuclear weapon, many many more Israelis
- 25:19Speaker 3: and many many more Americans are at risk of being murdered.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Look the iatola chance death to America and death to Israel.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I believe he believes that, and so acquiring a nuclear
- 25:32Speaker 3: weapon is not just an academic question. If he gets
- 25:34Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon, I believe he is trying to acquire
- 25:38Speaker 3: one because he wants to carry out his promises of
- 25:41Speaker 3: death to Israel and death to America. And that's precisely
- 25:44Speaker 3: why Israel has launched this attack, to stop him from
- 25:48Speaker 3: getting that capability.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I also center want to play for you what the
- 25:52Speaker 2: Israeli ambassador the United Nations had to say on CNN earlier.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Here is what he had to say when he was
- 25:58Speaker 2: asked a couple of different questions about this.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Also joining me is Reel's ambassador to the United Nations.
- 26:03Speaker 5: They need to know and ambassador, it's great to have
- 26:05Speaker 5: you here, sir. Just first on the strike that we
- 26:07Speaker 5: were seeing play out tonight and what this means should
- 26:10Speaker 5: we now consider is real to be at war with Iran.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Now was very clear. We took a preemptive attack to
- 26:18Speaker 6: defense ourselves, to defend ourselves, and we are targeting the
- 26:22Speaker 6: nuclear facilities and the badistic mission centers in Iran. So
- 26:27Speaker 6: we don't go into declaration now, we take actions. We
- 26:31Speaker 6: decided not to wait for Iran to attack us with
- 26:34Speaker 6: nuclear capabilities. We knew that they were plotting to do that,
- 26:39Speaker 6: and while they were talking with many countries and negotiating,
- 26:43Speaker 6: they move secretly with a military plan to attack as well.
- 26:47Speaker 6: And what we did was an act of self defense.
- 26:50Speaker 6: And we have abilities, you know, Okayatelean. Eighty years ago
- 26:53Speaker 6: when Oswitz was liberated, we required the support of the
- 26:56Speaker 6: Allies to protect our people. But today we have our
- 26:59Speaker 6: own stage, our own military, our own alfos, and today
- 27:04Speaker 6: we are protecting ourselves from another holocaust.
- 27:08Speaker 5: I mean these are much wider than the preemptive strikes
- 27:10Speaker 5: based on what we've seen so far, especially in terms
- 27:12Speaker 5: of targeting around top military leaders as well as senior
- 27:16Speaker 5: nuclear scientists, kind of a mass based on what we
- 27:19Speaker 5: have heard, do you know how many of those those
- 27:22Speaker 5: top military leaders and nuclear scientists and Iran the strikes
- 27:26Speaker 5: against the more successful, how many of them have been
- 27:28Speaker 5: eliminated tonight.
- 27:29Speaker 6: No, I cannot go into those details, but I can
- 27:31Speaker 6: tell you one thing. Those people who were involved in
- 27:35Speaker 6: the nuclear production, those who were putting together the ballistic missiles,
- 27:41Speaker 6: there are targets. They are part of the machine that
- 27:44Speaker 6: threatened as well in other countries in the world. You know,
- 27:47Speaker 6: if you look back at attack that it well took,
- 27:49Speaker 6: whether it was against the Iraq or see. Yeah, we
- 27:52Speaker 6: try to develop a nuclear reactors. I think today everybody
- 27:56Speaker 6: can think it well for those actions. So maybe today
- 27:59Speaker 6: some people I'm not sure about why we are doing
- 28:02Speaker 6: it today, But down the world a few years from today,
- 28:06Speaker 6: the world will thank you well for the action we took.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Today night the world will think Israel for the actions
- 28:12Speaker 2: taking tonight.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Is that the big takeaway from all of.
- 28:14Speaker 3: This It should be, but understand that the pro hamas
- 28:19Speaker 3: radical left in the Democrat Party is cheering on exactly
- 28:23Speaker 3: the opposite side, So Ben Rhodes. Many of y all
- 28:26Speaker 3: listening know who Ben Roads is. Ben Rhodes was a
- 28:30Speaker 3: top national security official in the Barack Obama National Security Council.
- 28:35Speaker 3: He is the lead architect of the Obama Iran nuclear deal.
- 28:41Speaker 3: He is a hardcore leftist and tonight he's miserable. So
- 28:46Speaker 3: Ben Rhodes. Late Thursday night, he tweeted out, quote, this
- 28:50Speaker 3: is all so unnecessary, all of it everywhere. Understand when
- 28:59Speaker 3: Israel tax Iran to take out the nuclear capacities. Ben Rhodes,
- 29:04Speaker 3: the leading national security official for Barack Obama is I
- 29:08Speaker 3: think Ben is in tears right now. And listen. The
- 29:12Speaker 3: Iran nuclear deal under Obama was a disaster. Under Joe Biden,
- 29:17Speaker 3: their top foreign policy objective was to have another Iran
- 29:20Speaker 3: nuclear deal. The only thing that stopped it as Iran
- 29:23Speaker 3: was so unreasonable they would not accept it. And there
- 29:28Speaker 3: are so many in the Democrat Party right now that
- 29:32Speaker 3: are cheering for Iran. I'll tell you what I'm cheering
- 29:35Speaker 3: for America, dammit, And I'm cheering for Israel and people
- 29:39Speaker 3: who are theocratic lunatics who say they want to murder us.
- 29:43Speaker 3: I am not dismayed that we are seeing a military
- 29:46Speaker 3: force stand up and take them out, and in particular
- 29:49Speaker 3: take out their nuclear capacity. That is critically important. We
- 29:54Speaker 3: do not want people who want to murder us to
- 29:58Speaker 3: have the tools to do so. And I think Israel's
- 30:02Speaker 3: attack did enormous benefit to America.
- 30:05Speaker 2: You mentioned taking away their tools, and one of their
- 30:08Speaker 2: tools was going after their scientists. I mean, this is
- 30:10Speaker 2: the brains behind everything. This took a lot of planning
- 30:15Speaker 2: and apparently as incredibly successful as well. I mean, this
- 30:18Speaker 2: is taking out their nervous system, of the computer system,
- 30:23Speaker 2: whatever you want to call it, for their nuclear program
- 30:26Speaker 2: by going after the scientists.
- 30:27Speaker 1: It's absolutely brilliant, and they pulled it off.
- 30:30Speaker 3: They did, it was executed with amazing precision. Now it's early. Look,
- 30:35Speaker 3: you and I are both talking early in the morning
- 30:38Speaker 3: Friday morning. It is possible that problems developed later Friday,
- 30:43Speaker 3: later Saturday, later Sunday. One of the challenges of doing
- 30:46Speaker 3: a show like this at the beginning of military conflict
- 30:49Speaker 3: is you don't know how things will shake out. But
- 30:52Speaker 3: I will say this so Benjamin Etna, who is a
- 30:54Speaker 3: strong conservative one of his predecessors as Israeli Prime minister
- 31:00Speaker 3: was enough Tally Bennett. Now enough Tally had been previously
- 31:04Speaker 3: Netan Yaho's chief of staff. But then but then Bennett
- 31:10Speaker 3: broke with nen Yahoo and ended up becoming prime minister himself,
- 31:15Speaker 3: in significant part by opposing net Nyahu. But I want
- 31:19Speaker 3: you to listen to this clip a former Israeli Prime
- 31:22Speaker 3: Minister enough Tally Bennett talking about what this is all about.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Give a listen.
- 31:27Speaker 7: Well, israelis had a siren across the country indicating that
- 31:33Speaker 7: Israel's air force is a conducting a prempt to strike
- 31:38Speaker 7: against Iran's military facilities and perhaps also the nuclear facilities.
- 31:44Speaker 7: I want to remind you that Iran's about a week
- 31:47Speaker 7: away from being able to obtain the amount of enriched
- 31:53Speaker 7: uranium for ten bombs. So this is not me saying this.
- 31:57Speaker 7: This is the international nuclear community and the goal ultimately
- 32:05Speaker 7: will be to remove the nuclear threat from the Middle East.
- 32:09Speaker 7: And sitting the head of the octopus of terror that's
- 32:12Speaker 7: been causing all of the mess we've seen over the
- 32:16Speaker 7: past couple of years in the region, I mean, there
- 32:20Speaker 7: it is.
- 32:21Speaker 3: And I will say when today's Democrats in the Senate
- 32:26Speaker 3: and House are to the left of that are saying
- 32:29Speaker 3: do not attack Iran. And we're going to see I'm
- 32:32Speaker 3: going to make a prediction in the hours and days ahead,
- 32:36Speaker 3: we're going to see a massive rise in the attacks
- 32:38Speaker 3: from the anti Semitic left. And the anti Semitic left
- 32:41Speaker 3: is growing bigger and bigger, and so those who hate
- 32:44Speaker 3: Israel will be really vocal. And unfortunately there's also a
- 32:48Speaker 3: contingent on the anti Semitic right. The anti Semitic right
- 32:51Speaker 3: is smaller than the left, but both of them are
- 32:54Speaker 3: absolutely wrong, and you're going to see online people say
- 32:58Speaker 3: the Israelis are dragging us into war. I'm here to
- 33:01Speaker 3: tell you the Israelis are acting to prevent war, to
- 33:05Speaker 3: prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons, and those nuclear weapons
- 33:10Speaker 3: could well be used to murder millions of Israelis or
- 33:13Speaker 3: millions of Americans, and so Israel is acting in self defense.
- 33:19Speaker 3: And I want to be clear, America stands with Israel.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Don't forget.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Please make sure you share this podcast wherever you can
