- 1:43Speaker 1: to turn out to turn the wan of y. Comey,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing at it. Uh huh, I sure
- 2:03Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me naw one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show, Yeah, I got one. I got
- 2:15Speaker 1: a message for you today to something I was thinking
- 2:17Speaker 1: about that might help you along the way. Um the
- 2:22Speaker 1: thing I appreciate about so many uh people that I
- 2:25Speaker 1: learned from Bishop Jake's, Kenneth Omer, Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, Um,
- 2:37Speaker 1: Joel Oldstein. I can't tell you and and and and
- 2:42Speaker 1: many more than that. I mean, you know, I'm I'm
- 2:44Speaker 1: naming you know, famous people because because I know you
- 2:50Speaker 1: know these names. But my father, who you never met,
- 2:55Speaker 1: was so great in my development as a man. But
- 2:59Speaker 1: my mother thought her mercy. My mother was um. She
- 3:05Speaker 1: taught me about faith. She gave me the things I
- 3:09Speaker 1: needed to know about. What I speak about every day,
- 3:12Speaker 1: that basis was given to me by her. So there's
- 3:15Speaker 1: so many great people. But here's here's here's the thing
- 3:19Speaker 1: that I've had to learn, and that is that if
- 3:23Speaker 1: God got you through it, it's done. Move on. See,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many people don't really pay
- 3:33Speaker 1: attention to that close enough. If God got you through it,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's done. Move on. How many times have we as
- 3:44Speaker 1: people allowed God to get us through something, get us
- 3:48Speaker 1: beyond something, get us over something, get us through something,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and then even after it's completion, we sit there and
- 3:58Speaker 1: we dwell on it, and we dwell all on it
- 4:00Speaker 1: to the point where it becomes an anchor around our
- 4:03Speaker 1: neck and we can't move on. We can't move on
- 4:09Speaker 1: because we just won't let it go. It's done. If
- 4:16Speaker 1: God got you through it, it's done. Move on. Stop
- 4:21Speaker 1: harboring on the pass. Stop hanging on to every time
- 4:24Speaker 1: you fail, Stop hanging on to every time you slipped
- 4:28Speaker 1: up and messed up. Stop hanging on to every time
- 4:31Speaker 1: you didn't get it right. So what Everybody makes mistakes,
- 4:36Speaker 1: everybody messes up. Everybody don't get it right. Everybody is
- 4:41Speaker 1: struggling with something. You ain't thought. Only one but my god. Man,
- 4:48Speaker 1: if God got you through it, it's done. Move on.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You're hanging on to it, for that's why he got it,
- 4:56Speaker 1: got you through it, so you can move on from it.
- 4:59Speaker 1: See a lot of things that happened to us that
- 5:02Speaker 1: we think are negative or bad experience. These are lessons
- 5:07Speaker 1: and what and what not to do. This is a
- 5:13Speaker 1: this uh, this is a this is a way to
- 5:16Speaker 1: have a now or bearing on. Look out for it
- 5:19Speaker 1: the next time. You know you you you you you.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You got me once, you can't get me again. I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: telling you, man, if God got you through it, it's done.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Move on. You have got to move on. I use
- 5:35Speaker 1: this analogy all the time. I'm gonna add a little
- 5:38Speaker 1: bit to it. Bishop Jake's told me you cannot drive
- 5:44Speaker 1: your car looking in the rear view mirror. I was
- 5:51Speaker 1: talking to a young singer yesterday who I ran up
- 5:53Speaker 1: into and man, let me tell you something. This this
- 5:59Speaker 1: this analogy or I told him. We had about twenty
- 6:02Speaker 1: minute conversation on see you know what your rear view
- 6:05Speaker 1: mirror is actually for in your car. I was just
- 6:07Speaker 1: tripping on this one day. Actually, your rear view mirror
- 6:13Speaker 1: is designed and this is what I use it for.
- 6:18Speaker 1: After I pass a car and I want to emerge
- 6:22Speaker 1: into that lane or I want to make another move,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I look up in the rear view mirror, and all
- 6:32Speaker 1: I use it for it shows me that I've gotten
- 6:36Speaker 1: past it. I've gotten past the vehicle I was passing,
- 6:40Speaker 1: and I got enough room now clear to make my
- 6:43Speaker 1: next move. That's what I used my rear view mirror for.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I used my rear view mirror to just glance up
- 6:50Speaker 1: every now and then to see what's coming up on me.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That's all I use it for. The rear view mirror
- 6:59Speaker 1: when your pa assing through something. Listen to me real close. Now.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Your rear view mirror on your car is after you're
- 7:07Speaker 1: passing something or you're passing by something, you can look
- 7:12Speaker 1: up in the rear view mirror and it lets you
- 7:14Speaker 1: know you're past it, You're beyond it. It's clear. Now
- 7:19Speaker 1: it's in the past. You no longer have to deal
- 7:22Speaker 1: with it as the car that was in front of
- 7:25Speaker 1: you blocking your way. You have passed it. You look
- 7:29Speaker 1: up in the mirror. You've cleared it. Now if you
- 7:32Speaker 1: want to switch lanes, could slide on over. You got room.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But that rear view mirror also lets you see if
- 7:40Speaker 1: anything is coming up on you and you just need
- 7:43Speaker 1: to glance, because if you're moving forward, ain't a whole
- 7:46Speaker 1: lot can come up on you. You just glancing every
- 7:49Speaker 1: now and then, and it reminds you that you got
- 7:52Speaker 1: through something and you got beyond something. That's what the
- 7:55Speaker 1: rear view mirror for. Now, let's talk about that wind shield.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Why you think that windshield so big on your car?
- 8:04Speaker 1: That's the biggest window on your car. You know why
- 8:08Speaker 1: the wind shield so big because it's where you're going.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Because even the automobile makers want you to have a
- 8:17Speaker 1: wide view of where you're going so you can see
- 8:21Speaker 1: what's up ahead. They put lights on the car night
- 8:24Speaker 1: so you can have night vision and see what's up ahead.
- 8:27Speaker 1: But you can oh man, uh see not? Why is that? Look?
- 8:32Speaker 1: Think about that now? For I move forward with this one.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Think about that wind shield, man, why is that wind
- 8:38Speaker 1: shields so big so you can see where you're going.
- 8:41Speaker 1: It's way more important where you're going than where you're being,
- 8:46Speaker 1: Don't you see that That's why the rear view mirror
- 8:49Speaker 1: is so small, because it is nowhere there as important
- 8:52Speaker 1: as it is as to where you're going, why you're being.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Just allows you to take a glance so you can
- 8:58Speaker 1: make sure you clear it, so you can see if
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's room enough for you to make your next move,
- 9:03Speaker 1: so you can know that you've gone through it and
- 9:05Speaker 1: go head on about your business. But that windshield, that
- 9:08Speaker 1: windshield is for vision a man without a dream of
- 9:12Speaker 1: visions your parish. That windshield is for somebody going somewhere.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That windshielding for somebody else there trying to make another move.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna go right, I'm on left. I'm gonna get
- 9:22Speaker 1: off on this exit. I'm gonna take this d too.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna handle it signed as a new route. There's
- 9:27Speaker 1: only so many miles left to go. That's what the
- 9:30Speaker 1: windshield got. Let me tell you something, man, when you
- 9:32Speaker 1: see a mile signed, you're driving on the freeway, you're
- 9:35Speaker 1: on the interstate, and you let's say you're driving too
- 9:37Speaker 1: a particular city and you see a sign that says
- 9:40Speaker 1: that city is thirty eight hunting thirty eight miles away.
- 9:45Speaker 1: That lets you know where you're going and You're on
- 9:47Speaker 1: the right path now. If you keep looking in the
- 9:50Speaker 1: rear view mirror, you'll never know how close you are.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You'll never know because you're driving your car. Look in
- 9:59Speaker 1: the riverview mirror. You all on the shoulder. You hear
- 10:01Speaker 1: them rocks up under your car. You have scared yourself
- 10:03Speaker 1: to death because you know why, because you keep looking
- 10:06Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror. Get out the rear view mirror.
- 10:10Speaker 1: If God got you through, it is done. Move on.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So what he so what? He don't love you know more?
- 10:20Speaker 1: And it was probably the best thing could have happened
- 10:24Speaker 1: to him. But guess what, he wasn't the best thing
- 10:27Speaker 1: that happened to you. So what you're sitting there man,
- 10:30Speaker 1: beating yourself up, self up fall like that's the end all.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. Who did God create?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, Who has God created on
- 10:41Speaker 1: the faith of this earth, on the face of this earth,
- 10:44Speaker 1: that He has given power over you? What that in description?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Tell me the name of the person that was created
- 10:53Speaker 1: over on this earth that shall have domain over you.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Show me in the scripture any writing, a person that
- 11:03Speaker 1: God created that should be the control of your destiny
- 11:08Speaker 1: and your happiness. Other than you, and God, please show
- 11:12Speaker 1: that to me, man, so I can go sit down
- 11:14Speaker 1: somewhere and quit talking. He don't exist. Now, if that
- 11:21Speaker 1: person don't exist, why do you keep creating this person?
- 11:25Speaker 1: Why you keep giving the power to somebody that God
- 11:28Speaker 1: didn't even give it to? So what he gone? You
- 11:32Speaker 1: wanted him? He was your world. You wasn't he though? Man,
- 11:37Speaker 1: Let's move on. If God got you through, it is done.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Move on. God got something for you. If you get
- 11:44Speaker 1: out your rear view mirror and get up in that windshield.
- 11:47Speaker 1: God's got something for your upperhead. But you can't see
- 11:50Speaker 1: what's up ahead because you're in that rear view mirror.
- 11:53Speaker 1: If God got you through, it is done. Let's move on.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Come on, y'all, don't let the past beat you up.
- 12:01Speaker 1: That's the ingredients in the cake. You didn't made that already.
- 12:05Speaker 1: That's done. Let's go. God, look in the wind sheheld,
- 12:08Speaker 1: See what God mobil got something new for you if
- 12:10Speaker 1: you get out the rear view mirror and look, opening
- 12:12Speaker 1: up your eyes and see. All right, let's go. Today.

- 19:22Speaker 1: thousands and thousands of people's lives. I've even come up
- 19:31Speaker 1: with a plan that can start with children as soon
- 19:35Speaker 1: as they go to school. M hm. How we can
- 19:39Speaker 1: start developing their minds from the time they enter school
- 19:44Speaker 1: all the way through to change your attitude and direction
- 19:48Speaker 1: in life. And people who grew up in the same
- 19:53Speaker 1: conditions that I grew up in these inner cities will
- 19:56Speaker 1: have opportunities in front of them that can be of
- 20:00Speaker 1: change and hopefully to other developments and other ideas and projects.
- 20:06Speaker 1: And started Landstorm, and we started knocking down the problem
- 20:10Speaker 1: in our inner city communities. That's all right, Steve great, Yeah,

- 23:50Speaker 1: say it's magically delicious. And and it came to the
- 23:56Speaker 1: stage and the chilling bed, you talking that was your
- 24:01Speaker 1: magic lead delicious with mine. I don't believe that I'm
- 24:09Speaker 1: sitting here when my arms folded, I do not believe
- 24:12Speaker 1: that you came up with magically delicious from the Lucky
- 24:15Speaker 1: charm cereal about it. We know who ain't come up
- 24:19Speaker 1: with ain't a damn thing. So now when I'm trying
- 24:24Speaker 1: to tell you, when I tell you the truth and
- 24:27Speaker 1: my dady a doing me, if it tells one about
- 24:30Speaker 1: the truth and they don't believe it, that ain't your fault.
- 24:34Speaker 1: That I know. You ain't gotta be where I come from.
- 24:38Speaker 1: The cereal. Someone created that, not you. I just told you.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I was working at the luck of Chard plant in

- 28:52Speaker 1: I mean I've got industrial cleaners all kinds, and you
- 28:54Speaker 1: have the preference. No, just whatever you could throw in there.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I need that. Now, let me ask you this here.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Do you have anything that can like just kill a smell?
- 29:02Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? If you know, if you
- 29:04Speaker 1: don't want something to smell, you've got anything for that
- 29:06Speaker 1: means something something, something die in your place? Is this
- 29:09Speaker 1: is this something? Something? Did? You're like, yeah, there's an
- 29:12Speaker 1: animal or something you found. I mean, I'm kind of confused.
- 29:14Speaker 1: You're talking about smell and cleaning up. Did you find
- 29:16Speaker 1: some sort of animal on a construction A rabbi, listen, man,
- 29:20Speaker 1: just take the harder. That's all I need you to do. Okay, Okay,
- 29:24Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I wasn't asking your business. I just it
- 29:26Speaker 1: was a little concerned. What are we getting? What are
- 29:27Speaker 1: we cleaning up? And what do we I mean I
- 29:29Speaker 1: guess that are we clean up a pile ford you
- 29:32Speaker 1: clean up carpet? I mean, what's the what's the cleaner form?
- 29:34Speaker 1: What's what? Where's the odor? Sir? I'm asking you? Do
- 29:37Speaker 1: you ask something strong enough? Like do you think, amman,
- 29:40Speaker 1: you can can keep a smell down? What do I
- 29:42Speaker 1: need to keep a smell down? You're definitely gonna need ammonia.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I mean you you gotta get something. Just scrub that
- 29:47Speaker 1: right down, because you whoever that sense is, if it's
- 29:50Speaker 1: in your if it's in the walls, if you've got
- 29:52Speaker 1: fabriched in that place, I mean whatever, whatever you got it,
- 29:54Speaker 1: you probably have a different type of the odorize or
- 29:56Speaker 1: something for the carpet, something for the walls. I mean,
- 29:58Speaker 1: I don't I guess. I guess it's kind of confused

- 30:21Speaker 1: Hell uh? Any type of machete, anything that's real shop
- 30:24Speaker 1: that can cut? What? Okay? Hold on a second, and
- 30:28Speaker 1: now now you're completely off base. You do realize you
- 30:31Speaker 1: call the hardware store, right, I'm calling the hardware stalking about.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I need some supplies, man, I'm doing the job on
- 30:35Speaker 1: the side. I need some supplies. I get that you
- 30:37Speaker 1: said there already, but I'm confused about it is now
- 30:40Speaker 1: you're asking for a weapon? What what? What would you
- 30:42Speaker 1: use the macheting for? I mean that you're you're talking
- 30:44Speaker 1: about what you're gonna chop down some some some brush.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I don't, I don't, I don't get it. What's on
- 30:49Speaker 1: the shedding for? Hey? Man, listen, listen, your job is
- 30:51Speaker 1: to take the order, man, that's your job. Robbie, don't
- 30:55Speaker 1: tell me my my job is. I know what my
- 30:56Speaker 1: job is. This is my store, man, Okay, I've been work.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Can hear a lot longer than you even can imagine.
- 31:02Speaker 1: And people don't call up asking for ammonia and and
- 31:06Speaker 1: cleaner and and and trying to get a smell out.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I mean what I just I'm trying to think about
- 31:10Speaker 1: how best to help you. I'm sorry, I'm trying. I'm
- 31:12Speaker 1: doing Robbie, is you be a nosy? You be a nosy.
- 31:15Speaker 1: All you gotta do is field order And I haven't
- 31:17Speaker 1: haven't done in two hours when I get there. That's
- 31:19Speaker 1: all you gotta do. I can't do that in two hours.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I can't even I I will back dun at this point,
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm not even sure I can get this done. Maybe
- 31:28Speaker 1: tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning, work for yees mane. I got
- 31:30Speaker 1: to get rid of this body. I got to get
- 31:32Speaker 1: rid of this kind today. Who whow whoa, whoa whoa.
- 31:37Speaker 1: I need to call listen, I need to call the policeman.
- 31:39Speaker 1: You just hit body. But really, that right there, that's
- 31:43Speaker 1: about white people always want to call the police when
- 31:46Speaker 1: they've got nothing to do with them. Listen. All you
- 31:49Speaker 1: need to do is field or order. Okay, okay, you're listen.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I need to tell you something, okay, And I don't
- 31:56Speaker 1: know if you if you found a body. I don't
- 31:58Speaker 1: know if you're respondful for the body either way. I
- 32:00Speaker 1: don't want to be any part of this business. Okay.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I don't know why you're planning or where you're trying
- 32:04Speaker 1: to bury this thing, but you're basically asked me to
- 32:06Speaker 1: be an accomplice to something that's none of my business. Hey,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I need your name right now. Okay, when I'm not
- 32:12Speaker 1: giving you my name, you say also proofing. Hey, hey,
- 32:16Speaker 1: listen to me. You said your call from roof and company?
- 32:19Speaker 1: Are you I'm not? I'm not? Hey man, let me
- 32:21Speaker 1: tell you something. Why are your wife folks always trying
- 32:23Speaker 1: to be a thought? Tell you like that? Why are
- 32:25Speaker 1: you are always acting like? Why do folks what your problem?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Some somethbout white folks talking about purple green, black, blue
- 32:31Speaker 1: woman they're talking about. Why it's about you asking for that?
- 32:34Speaker 1: Sounds was trying to bury your body. Okay, that's what
- 32:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out. Are you and you're not?
- 32:38Speaker 1: What is your name? I need your name and your
- 32:40Speaker 1: name right now? Hey man? What First of all, you
- 32:42Speaker 1: an't work? You're not? You can't you a pill be
- 32:44Speaker 1: talking to me like this. I don't care if I'm
- 32:46Speaker 1: swearing at work. My my co workers, the people here,
- 32:49Speaker 1: they all know who I am, and they know if
- 32:51Speaker 1: I was talking to someone you, I'd be talking like
- 32:53Speaker 1: this too. Okay, I'm gonna trace this call. Do you
- 32:56Speaker 1: hear me? I'm gonna trace this call. I'm gonna get
- 32:58Speaker 1: the cops on your and figure out who the you are. Okay, Okay, well,
- 33:01Speaker 1: let me let me ask you this. Since you want
- 33:03Speaker 1: to know who I am? Do you know Marcus? I
- 33:06Speaker 1: don't Mark, No, Marcus, he works here. I know him. Okay,
- 33:11Speaker 1: Marcus is who got me to call you? This is
- 33:14Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Robbie, you
- 33:18Speaker 1: just got pragged by your co worker, Marcus. You have
- 33:24Speaker 1: got to be kidding me. Marcus marcut I see you
- 33:29Speaker 1: over there, I see you. I can't believe that. Who
- 33:33Speaker 1: son of a Marcus? Why don't you tell me this
- 33:37Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning I gotta ask you, Robbit, you gotta
- 33:40Speaker 1: tell me this man. What is the baddest and I
- 33:43Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the land as easy
- 33:47Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 33:51Speaker 1: Morning Show. Snoop has a video out. I'm sure most
- 33:58Speaker 1: of us have seen it. Some of you may have not,
- 34:00Speaker 1: but anyway, it's called Lavender. It features Snoop pointing a
- 34:03Speaker 1: gun at a clown version of Donald Trump, so we
- 34:07Speaker 1: all know. Earlier in the week, Trump took to Twitter
- 34:10Speaker 1: to fire back at Snoop, specifically for the use of
- 34:13Speaker 1: a gun against the fake president in the clip. President tweeted,
- 34:18Speaker 1: can you imagine what the outcry would be if at
- 34:21Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg failing career and all had aimed and fired
- 34:24Speaker 1: the gun at President Obama jail time? Donald Trump's lawyer
- 34:29Speaker 1: Michael Cohen said, Snoop owes the president and apology. Take
- 34:32Speaker 1: a listen. It's totally disgraceful. Snoop posed the president an apology.
- 34:37Speaker 1: There's absolutely nothing funny about an assassination attempt on a president.
- 34:42Speaker 1: And I'm shocked that he's I'm really shocked at him
- 34:45Speaker 1: because I thought he was better than that. You have
- 34:48Speaker 1: a protest, that's fine, make your point, but it should
- 34:51Speaker 1: never be. He has to learn that they need to
- 34:53Speaker 1: respect the office of the president. You know, there are
- 34:56Speaker 1: many things that the people could have done that would
- 35:00Speaker 1: be offensive if in fact it was still President Obama
- 35:03Speaker 1: and I think we can all think of what those
- 35:05Speaker 1: would be. And just because you want to hide behind
- 35:08Speaker 1: the dice of artistic capabilities or our freedom of speech
- 35:12Speaker 1: doesn't make it right. And Snoop knows that, and he
- 35:15Speaker 1: played very close to the line here. It's also being
- 35:18Speaker 1: reported that the Secret Service is aware of the clip,
- 35:21Speaker 1: though it's unclear whether the agency will actually investigate to
- 35:24Speaker 1: see if Snoop poses a real threat. Wow. Yeah, so
- 35:31Speaker 1: this is this is a story that's gaining you know
- 35:34Speaker 1: some legs. People are talking about it. Uh, you know,
- 35:37Speaker 1: and and and they're right. We would be upset and
- 35:39Speaker 1: have been upset, you know if they talked about President
- 35:42Speaker 1: Obama in the same vein, you know, all the stuff
- 35:45Speaker 1: that was out there about the president, we didn't like it.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I'm certain that Snoop doesn't pose a real threat at all.
- 35:55Speaker 1: But where we have to be smart about this, uh,
- 36:00Speaker 1: young brothers and uh the people who are are the
- 36:04Speaker 1: truth tellers. Where we have to be smart about his
- 36:09Speaker 1: is the way that they will bend it and twisted.
- 36:12Speaker 1: And here's the problem. Uh, we run into the route
- 36:19Speaker 1: of if something happens, then do you get brought in
- 36:25Speaker 1: as the copycat version. The reason that spurred and action
- 36:30Speaker 1: because there's some idiots sitting at the house who's willing
- 36:34Speaker 1: to really carry this out. There is an idiot sitting
- 36:36Speaker 1: at his house who's willing to carry this out. You
- 36:40Speaker 1: don't want to be tied to that. You know, he's
- 36:43Speaker 1: an artist. He has a right as an artist to
- 36:47Speaker 1: do his art in any form or way that he has.
- 36:52Speaker 1: The problem with this is that is an office in
- 36:56Speaker 1: this country called the president. And you have to respect
- 36:59Speaker 1: the office. You really do, whether you want to or not,
- 37:05Speaker 1: at least you should to respect the office. I mean,
- 37:08Speaker 1: they got laws. Look I'm telling you, man, and so
- 37:11Speaker 1: you know, I would hate for anything to come down.
- 37:14Speaker 1: And everybody that's coming to Snoop's defense or understand, but
- 37:20Speaker 1: just be smart with what you say. See, don't don't
- 37:23Speaker 1: compound the problem here, you know, attacking the first lady.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Let me tell you the danger of this, young brothers.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Listen to me. When they called our first lady, Michelle
- 37:36Speaker 1: Obama aping heels the mayor of that small country hit
- 37:41Speaker 1: town in West Virginia. Ain't the mayor no more? And
- 37:45Speaker 1: neither is her girl that she was on the phone with.
- 37:48Speaker 1: That's over that you start messing around with this man's wife,
- 37:54Speaker 1: and you start making disparaging comments about this man's wife,
- 37:57Speaker 1: who ain't in this at all. Now, the hell that
- 38:01Speaker 1: come down behind messing with these people's family is great. Man,
- 38:05Speaker 1: y'all got to be smart. Now, y'all got to be
- 38:08Speaker 1: smart because they got other ways of getting you. I'm
- 38:12Speaker 1: telling you all days. Start flipping through your tax returns.
- 38:15Speaker 1: They can find something, they can make it. They can
- 38:18Speaker 1: make it real funky for you, man. So you gotta
- 38:21Speaker 1: be smart. Man. You gotta be smart. You can't just
- 38:24Speaker 1: fall off in this world no more like this. All
- 38:27Speaker 1: this stuff is recorded, traced. We have to be smart.
- 38:31Speaker 1: It's not that you're scared or that makes you a
- 38:33Speaker 1: punk or nothing like that. But you gotta be smart. Man.
- 38:37Speaker 1: These cats is business man their business on a whole
- 38:41Speaker 1: another level. And like it or love it, he's the president.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Even if you don't like him, you gotta respect the
- 38:47Speaker 1: highest office in the land. You know, Just have some
- 38:50Speaker 1: respect for them, because look, I've had a relationship with Snoop.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I love Snoop. That's my dude. Man. We all cordial
- 38:58Speaker 1: and respectful one by by, always cordial and respect for
- 39:03Speaker 1: one another. Me and t I ain't handle problem with
- 39:05Speaker 1: t I you know what, I stand a lot of dude.
- 39:09Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, brothers, be smart. Now, be smart
- 39:15Speaker 1: because if we're gonna start pulling back out, boring out
- 39:17Speaker 1: and shooting it, remember they got one too, their shots
- 39:22Speaker 1: gonna come a little bit different. Now, you ain't gonna
- 39:25Speaker 1: be scared of nothing, and that don't make you a punk.
- 39:27Speaker 1: But you've got to be smart because all y'all talking
- 39:30Speaker 1: got money. You got money, man, You got money, and
- 39:35Speaker 1: they know how to go out there that money. Just
- 39:38Speaker 1: be smart handle your business. But let's just be smart.
- 39:41Speaker 1: But I'm let me tell you just man, lead the
- 39:44Speaker 1: first lady out of this. I'm telling y'all you're going
- 39:46Speaker 1: down another path for these cats. Now you start messing
- 39:50Speaker 1: with their wives. Man, I'm telling you I just knew
- 39:54Speaker 1: because I'm telling you, man, you go after a lot
- 39:56Speaker 1: of stuff. A dude, let you do what you wanna
- 39:58Speaker 1: do to him. But once you get off into is
- 40:00Speaker 1: wife and his family, think about your own, think about you.
- 40:08Speaker 1: If somebody come at you, that's one thing, but when
- 40:11Speaker 1: they come at your kids and your wife, you're different, man.
- 40:14Speaker 1: And that go for most men. So I just want
- 40:17Speaker 1: everybody to just be a little bit. Just be smart, man.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I ain't saying you gotta be scared of you know, punk,

- 59:33Speaker 1: but I do have three beautiful children with my husband.
- 59:36Speaker 1: My problem is that I am in love with another man,
- 59:39Speaker 1: a friend I've known since before my husband and I
- 59:42Speaker 1: even got together. Problem is he's married too. I have
- 59:46Speaker 1: cheated on my husband with this man one time before,
- 59:50Speaker 1: and I don't regret it. Because my husband is always
- 59:52Speaker 1: talking online trying to find other people to have relations with.
- 59:56Speaker 1: I love this other man with all my heart. And all. Oh,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I am unhappy. I love my husband too. My husband
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: just plays video games all day and neglects the children
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: and myself. I know this other man is a good father,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: but as I said, I am married. We were high
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: school sweethearts, but we just went down separate paths. Recently,

- 1:00:18Speaker 1: the first time he's ever said that in the many
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: years that we fooled around. My sister says he's just
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: playing me, but I really do think he loves me.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: The problem really is that we both love each other,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: but we aren't ready to leave our spouses yet because
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: we don't want to hurt them. Should I cut this
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: other guy off, stay friends with him, or just try
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: to pursue him romantically? Wow? Okay, definitely don't do the
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: last one. Pursue him romantically. Okay, let's start there. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: really don't know what you want from us. I don't know.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: You're in an unhappy marriage. You still love your husband,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: but you're in love with another man whom you say
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you've cheated with aly once. But then you mentioned about
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: the many years that you fooled around together. Uh teenage
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: love affair. Yeah, you are sounding very much like a teenager.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: But uh, you have to be a grown up with
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: three children and being married for five years. I'm thinking
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you're an adult here, but you are thinking and sounding
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: and acting like a teenager. Um, You've got to make
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: up your mind. You have to make up your mind.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Are you gonna stay with your husband in this unhappy
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: marriage with all this stuff you say your husband's doing.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You never said that he didn't cheat on you, You
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: never said that he doesn't love you. Um, the man
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: that you're cheating with, I'm inclined to believe what your
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: sister says. Yeah, he's just playing you. Uh. He hasn't
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: left his wife or even talked about that to get
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: with you. So this is just an affair with him,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: and you are acting like a teenager and you need
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: to grow up. Steve. Well, lady, I gotta tell you, man,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: all right, just once again into my opinion. If you
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: have a different opinion, you're free to it. It should
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: just mine. Let her does say hello, Steve, So here
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: we go. Here's the problems you have. Um, you say,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: my problem is no, no, no, no, no, this is
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: not a problem. This is a big problem. My problem
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: is that I'm in love with another man. Now you're married, unhappy,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: been married for five years, and you've got three kids. Okay,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: the problem is I'm in love with another problem with
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: with another man. Okay, that's a big problem. The second problem,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: you say is the problem is he's married too. Okay.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Now the problem just got it a little bit bigger. Okay,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I want I want you to see your letter growing.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Then the next one says, I cheated on my husband
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: with this man one time before. The problem is swelling
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: now starting to get big. Then you ther next deal
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: is my husband is always talking online trying to find
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: other people to have relations with. Okay, this is starting
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: to appear huge to me. This letter is growing in.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, the should be o MG all over
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: this letter. Then you says, here's your next problem. I
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: love this other man with all my heart, and although
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I'm unhappy, I love my husband too. Well, ain't you
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: just a little lovely, debby thing. You love the other
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: man with all your heart and you love your husband too.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: You just you just a barrel of monkeys, baker. Then
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: your next problem is my husband just plays video games
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: all day and neglects the children and myself. Okay. Then
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: your next problem is recently the other guy said that
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: he's in love with me, the first time he's ever
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: said that into many years, that we fooled around. Well,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I wanta see. Hold on now, you just said you
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: only cheated what he wants. Now you said in all
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: the years you fooled around when you were teenagers. That's
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: not fooling around. You thought you really had something. You
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: only fool around when you're getting married. Make up your
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: mind something this that ain't right. I know you got
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: a bigger problem than you. Thank you God, though, And
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: when we come back, we're just finished talking about your problem.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: All right after the break at eighteen after the hour,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: part two of Steve Harvey's response to a Day Strawberry letter,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: You do not want to miss it. Please come back.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: I know you will. You're listening, Steve Harvey, alright, eighteen
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: minutes after that, you know, um, whatever will be back.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: It's not a teenage love affair, lady. You're in a
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: full blown affairs an adult woman. You didn't love this
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: boy when y'all were teenagers. You're trying to turn it
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: into something cute, and so it has so you can
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: so you can say I've known him for all these years,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: and this has nothing to do with it. You got married. Look,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: when you cheat, you cheat, be like a man. You know,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: when a man cheat, you know he got he gotta
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: end up own it up. So, lady, it's your chance
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: to own up. I'm sorry that you're a lady and
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: you cheat. It. If this was a dude cheating, y'all
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: would be through with him. But you're you're right. Men
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: don't try to roman No. Yeah, lady, you're you're trying
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: to turn it into something it's been. I've known him
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: even before. Let me say a friend i've known since
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: before my husband and I even got together. What damn it?
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: You got together with your husband and now you're look crazy.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Tale is cheat. You are a cheat. Dog now that
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: saw to it. Look, that's what happened to us when
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: we cheat. You cheat, you're no good. You're a dog. Okay,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: now you're the dog. Now okay, my sister, now listen
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to this. Recently, the other guy said that he's in
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: love with me, the first time he's ever said that
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: in the many years that we fooled around. Okay, he
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: can say that to you. You ain't got nothing loose,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: my sister, says he's just playing me, but I really
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: do think he loves me. The problem really is that
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: we both love each other. At cheats lady, cheta c
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: H E E T A H A S S cheetah as. Okay,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: look at Cheatah. You are sitting up in here listening
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: to this married man tell you that he loves you
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: all married me and say that they ain't happy at home.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: You you, you make a difference. That's the deal, Okay,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: now here, now here is a good part. Though, here's
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: a good part. But we aren't ready to leave our
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: spouses just yet because we don't want to hurt them. Okay,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: when you say we're not ready to leave our spouses
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: just yet because we don't want to hurt them, when
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: y'all gonna be ready to hurt it? Every right? See
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: when is jes yet gonna be Now it's time. He's
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: convinced you that he don't want to hurt her, and
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: now he's got you say it. You don't want to
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: hurt him? Should I cut this other guy off, stay
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: friends with him, or try to pursue him romantically? You
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: know what every everything you're doing. If you don't cut
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: the guy off, you're gonna stay friends with him, or
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: you're gonna pursue him romantically. If you stay in touch
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: with the guy, both of the above are gonna happy,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: all right. Today's Strawberry letter is posted on Steve Harvey
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: dot com. You can tweet or instagram me your thoughts
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: at my girl. Surely okay? Coming up after the break
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: at thirty four after the hour, taking your vacation calls

- 1:08:45Speaker 1: We're gonna take these phone calls when we come back.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Do you take your vacations? Why don't you take your vacation?
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Do you feel guilty? How do you handle that? All that?
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Right after this? Eight seven or seven twenty nast st
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: gotta nay. You know, people don't always use their vacation days,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: and guilt is usually the reason. Why do you use
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: all your vacation days? If not, what do you use
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: them for? And here's part two. Do you feel pressure
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: to check in with the job while you're on vacation?
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Why or why not? Call us? Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Let's go to the phone. Steve let's go to line
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: one and talk to Dabanna out of Tennessee. Dobanna, Hey, hey, Debonna,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: do you feel guilty when you take vacation? Do you
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: take all your vacation? Do you call me? And when
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: you're on vacation? Are you scared to take vacation. I'm
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: not scared. I'm not calling. I'll check amorrow. I'll take
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: my birthday. I take my first birthday. I'm just taking day. Okay,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: take it. She's making you proud. Kind of job I
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: worked for my dad. Oh, come on, Devanna, real job.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: My dame's on his own construction company for like thirty
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: some years. That is a real job. But you can
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: take vacation. Yeah, but he ain't got fired you. Yeah yeah,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: he will fire me, fire me, but my mama will
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: retire me. Come on, Tvanna, I love it like he
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: don't even know you. Yeah yeah, well you didn't do
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: that estimate, right, I'm gonna have to let you go.

- 1:10:47Speaker 1: want to do. Like, I want to own my own business.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: That is what I want to do. I want my
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: own daycare. I want my own before and after school care.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Like I just want to work with kids. Just what
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: I've done, I'm starting and that's what I want to do.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Like this one. My passion is, well, that would be good.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Going to save your money, get it right, all right,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: appreciate it. Hanging there. Always good to work for your daddy. Okay,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: you'll fire me, but my mom will rehire me, all right.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Coming up next, we found a survey that finds that
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: most people don't use their vacation days. They don't use
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: all of them, and guilt is the number one reason.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: So do you use all of your vacation days? That
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: is the question of the week. If not, what do
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: you use them for? What'd you say, Steve? You que
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: ask what you did? Because you don't feel guilty at all.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: And and how about this question, Steve, do you feel
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: any pressure to check in with your job while you're
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: on vacation? He doesn't waiting for Sometimes turn it off.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Sometimes I just turn it upside down, just flip it over.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Soon you see the light, call us and let us
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: know what you think. Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, y'all,

- 1:12:55Speaker 1: don't feel. Hey. You know, people don't always use their
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: vacation days, and guilt is usually the reason. Why do
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: you use all your vacation days? If not, what do
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: you use them for? And here's part two? Do you
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: feel pressure to check in with the job while you're
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: on vacation? Why or why not? Call us? Eight seven
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve, let's go. I want to talk
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: to Brittany Police out of Chicago. Hey, Brittany, Hello, what
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: about it? Dollar? Um, I'm that person. I guess I'm
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: not included in that forty seven percent if I remember
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: those numbers correctly, Um, it's won. In my calendar opens
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: for PCO, I get to schedule and so no guilt sell,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: no guilt sell none at all. I'm using all. I'm
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: using all of my vacation days, Honey. I might use
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: it to sleep, because sometimes you just need a break.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: You know, you just don't want to see cybody every
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: day because people. I mean, I love people, but people
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: get on my nerves of working customer service, Honey, I
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: get all different types of a and sometime I just
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: need a break. I got time my partner sick day.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: I just said, you out a sick day. That's why
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I used you don't want to I'm with him in
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: good faith, honey. I'm with you, though, Brittany, who who
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: did they survey guilt? Exactly? Who did they start to kill? Honney,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: I'm not thinking about y'all. I love y'all. I hope
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: you don't have a wonderful work day, but I'm not
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: thinking about you. Don't call it that. I'm not, she said,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I swear it doesn't take all of her time. I
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: think the question is, surely why don't you Uh, it's
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: the person asking me the question. It's because, yeah, because
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you take so much of yours, someone has to be here, Steve.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: We can't all take off. Hello, Monday off Steve, and
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you had a fit. Yeah, hello. You couldn't believe I
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: took one day. He was like, what and why did
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: you do that? Nobody I did tell Yeah, yeah, we knew. Okay,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: had nobody to tell. You could tell us, so we'll
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: know you could tell us, Steve, so we'll know. It's
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: not like you're checking with us or asking us. Just
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: let us know. Well, that's why we tell my boss,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: and then I'm done with it, Brittany. This is what
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: we need. Yeah, this is why Say it again, Junior,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Say it again, Junior. That's right. So you told him, hey, man,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I ain't coming in the mall. So there is your answer, Steve.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: That's why we can't take vacation because you have a
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: hundred million jobs and we you know it's hard anyway.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: But thank you, Brittany. We appreciate. Are you welcome to
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: thank you? Oh Steve to huh because I'm gonta say
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: this right here because he's not here right now? Are
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: going to go along with this and agree and stop
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: being cowards, y'all know, good and wale cowards. Tommy wants
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: to be me. I know he wants to be like Carl.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: What I'm just asking as he does try to act
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: like you? Okay? Yes, yes, isn't that a problem? Everything
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: you see me? Do? He do the baby very you know?
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: But Steve, that's flattery. That's the most sincereous form of
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: a person in love with you and loving you. You think,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: docause he wants he's trying to compete his mind. He's
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: trying to compete with you. See what you'll be doing
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: the same what you do to him. That's how he
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: do to me. To put Junior gotta in your please
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: asked what he do? Something ball or something like that?
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: What he's thinking like? You know, like, yeah, they can
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: see this room right here, this room right here, eight
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: hundred the night right here. Um, he throws out prices.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: You know, he's famous except to me. Yeah, I was grateful.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Now I don't thought I know numbers with I'll be
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: looking at it. Ye hey man, but y'all remember that
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: time told me he said, man, why are you jealous
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: of me? Yes? And almost threw up. You've been going
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: through it, tummy, what do you have? And then he
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: got mad. I think you guys have a healthy competition
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: and is family. I think you guys play around a lot.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I don't think you mean anything for him. No, s
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I don't think you guys meant you say to stay sick,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: You stay sick and take it off. You know, he
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: had the family you and talking about I'm gonna catch
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: your uncle. Oh he told that uncle Lester he should not.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Uncle Lester was drinking. Mm hmm, catch your uncle, Steve,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna catch him in pass him. He said, well,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you're gonnahead to be dead right now. That boy running
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: fast and you how to hear you're gonna catch somebody
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: fasting you. I just think it's what I was trying
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: to say earlier. Imitation is a sincerest form of flattery.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: He just he admires you. Yeah, he just really admires you.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: And he does want to be like you. I mean
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: we all aspired to be like you to some degree.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: You know, you said a great example, Steve of how
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: to get it, how to how to be Christian. She'll
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: only thank you so much? Are you looking at it?
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: But because Steve Man, he just his nephew just hating
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: on him. That's I don't think that. Hey, y'all, listen
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: to this. Close your eyes. Imagine that instead of wind,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: rain and snow, you see white saying clear blue water,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: palm trees. Yes, ain't nobody asking you about getting them

- 1:21:44Speaker 1: nearly impossible to catch. But off the field is a
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: completely different story. Um. He is constantly making poor decisions
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: and getting caught in this week's case on camera, boy,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: oh boy, By now you've heard that a TMC video
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: surfst of Elliott at a St. Patrick's Day parade pulling
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: down a lady's shirt and exposing her breast. What let's
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: go on now, making an already bad situation worse. Elliott
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: remains under under NFL investigation for allegations of abuse by
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: an ex girlfriend last year. So these shenanigans have got
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: to stop. Geez, come on, Steve, you just said last
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: hour to some of the hip hop stars about being smart.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Now here go, what is going on? This is so dumb.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: He got the biggest head in the league, Like nobody
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: gonna recognize him he does. This is the first time
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: hearing of the story. So I'm just really, but there's
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: no reason for you to do that. Put a moment's
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: topped down and never done in my life. Less. We
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: was in the room, okay, behind closed doors. Yeah, I
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: pulled it up over your head. I didn't beat the
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: buttons off. Is that where we're going? I mean, I'm sorry,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: please really in But it was warrant. Yeah, it was
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: who it is? Right here? Shut? What was that? All
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: the buttons that I got, spit them on the bed.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: So when we find, we can find. I didn't had
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: to help sew one back on. I don't had a
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: call downstairs. Get some three and negles. Yeah, I'll got
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: some kick because I don't ran out of thread out
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: of the morning to bath. But wait, it's a white
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: blouse with white thread. All they have is black thread.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Or buttons are sewing on the white shirt with black thread.

- 1:24:05Speaker 1: get it together, Ezekiel, You've got a biblical name. Come on, man,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: and he's under investigations. So this is not yeah, not
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: a good look at look. You know you're young. Young,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: then boy do you have to learn when you you know,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the lessons not done? Some stupid stuff I'm trying to Yeah,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: but I didn't break the law, and you know, alright,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: so please Ezekiel, be smart, like Steve said, be smart.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: All right, let's switch gears now and go to the phones.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: We want to talk about vacation guilt. Vacation guilt. A
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: lot of people don't take their vacations because they feel guilty,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: and then a lot of people take vacations, but they
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: still feel compelled to call the job while they're on vacation.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: How do you feel eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: I don't feel anything when I'm on I spent my
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: whole vacation dreading the day I gotta go back, exactly
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: after you have picked it for that long you're dreading
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: to come back. But the best and the best day
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: of vacation to me is that first day. No, not
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: for me, because it seems like it seems like it's
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: gonna be forever that first day. Yeah, I mean you
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: still have not the big day for me because it
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: takes me a while. The unwanted to wind down. It
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: does the work mode, you know. Yeah, and then by
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: the time you get out of it, about the third
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: day is when I just go, Okay, man, I'm gonna cheer.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: I don't think that. All right, let's go back to
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: the phones. Let's go to line to cat Sandra out
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: of Florida. Sandra, Hi, the question do you take all

- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Are you guilty? Do you call in? Do you worry? No?
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: I don't worry. I take on my vacation and I
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: don't even call in to all of the books. Yes,

- 1:33:12Speaker 1: band the gold is show heavily the question. I had
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: to do that at least six times throughout tonight. I
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: gotta do it again. Here go try to sing some
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: of my old hits that I wrote. You know, but
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: I just get I just get pulled back in. I
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: probably do. Oh girl, something I wrote back in All
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: sixty sixty nine, big hit I wrote called poising. I
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: like to do poising. Okay, we'll do that on the
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: way out, pausing, pausing, pausing, No pausing, pausing, pausing, pausing,
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: never trust running a smile. That girl is pausing right that.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Let's go. And they weren't even born in sixty nine,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: wasn't around in sixty nine? Because you yeah, you didn't
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: write that. We thought a new edition movie. Who in
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: the movie did they say wrote that? Who did they
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: say wrote it? I don't remember because it wouldn't me.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: They always leave me out. I wrote that cut like
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: an afro all that okay, and you know they' from Boston.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: So you're right there. I tell you were going to
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: night come together. Yeah, every time you're trying to prove
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: me calling you just further prove the fact I'm right,
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: I'm here. What I say? You know, did I have
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: to give it to you? Did say you're going to
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: trust a big button? A smile that girl in Pausa.
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: We come back from the break at thirty four after
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: the hour. What's up next, Steve? I think the back
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: to back jail. Think you're right, we'll be back. You're
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: Here we go, got these back to back jams. Come on, cat,
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: let's get it. We'll be back, Ladies and gentlemen with
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: just one more thing, don't go do well? Who is
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: that you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, coming up next,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: We got time for just one more thing. Right after
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: this song? Right here, we almost out of here this
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: side to say, read on. You know how many people
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: don't be drunk tonight? Yeah, I ain't got to go
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: to work tomorrow. The bars ain't gonna spill out into
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: the street in Chicago tonight. When I say that, because
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: this coal is hail. Oh yeah, yeah, it's called all right.
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: Today is St. Patrick's Day. Uh, it's no big shock
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: to find out that a lot of people will be
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: drinking a lot, as we've been talking about all morning
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: for St. Patrick's Day and it's Friday. Yes, what a combo? Right?
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: In fact, St. Patrick's Day is normally the fourth most
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: popular drinking day of the year. That's behind New Year's Eve, Christmas,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: and the fourth of July. Who knew that? I thought
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: it was number one? Actually on the fourth, Yeah, on
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: the fourth. What's more, fifty one two percent of Americans
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: say they planned to celebrate St. Patty's Day this year.
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: That's over half. Over half. Yeah, I'm working, and I
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: think people are looking for a reason to celebrate, you know,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: after the election and everything. Let's just celebrate. Let's get drunk, yeah,
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: Patty mill Oh yeah, Hey, and you guys the hit
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: horror film get Out by Jordan Peel of Key and Peel,
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: that comedy duo. It's made history, film history. It is
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: no joke. I'm not kidding around with this story. Peel
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: has become the first African American writer director Steve to
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: have a one hundred million dollar movie day. Beut, that
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: is big. That is big. Yeah, He's become the first
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: African American writer and director to have a hundred million
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: dollar movie debut. Congratulations to you, Jordan Peel. Horror movies
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: usually bank most of their money during opening weekend before
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: sales fall off, but Get Out grows ten million dollars
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: over the projective projected budget in its first week and
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: the and the film still remains competitive against blockbuster films
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: like King Kong with Samuel L. Jackson and Logan. Uh So,
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: this is great news. This. According to the Rap, not
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: only did Jordan Peele reach this milestone with only Steve
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: you always ask about this a four million dollar budget,
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: but the fact that he also did it with relatively
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: unknown cast, and that's true makes this win even more impressive. Yeah.
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: I think the most famous person in the movie was
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: a little rail right on, a comedian, little l Yeah,
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: a little rel and he was funny as heck, he
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: is funny anyway. Yeah, it was funny in that movie.
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: So congratulations to George and feel hopefully more and more
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: movies will come from him. On a four million dollar budget,
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: profit profit profit profit chit ching man, All I gotta
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: do is all I gotta do is just follow Blacks
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: everywhere with a camera and just go is go sitting hill,
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: We're so scary, goes well, because when I saw the
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: trailers Forget Out in the movies, when I was going
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: to see something else, I think Fences or something, I
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: was like, Oh, this looks too scary. I'm not going.
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: But I had to go and support the brother. I
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: had to. I'm glad. I'm so glad. I did you know,
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: because the movie was fun. It was scary, a little
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: bit scary, but not evil scary. You know, it's a
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: message if you can say that, a message horror movie.
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: You know, we always black films, always have to have
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: a message in their movies. But anyway, it was. It
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: was good and I encourage you guys to go out
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: and see it. But some congratulations. Yeah, and that's why
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: I don't like horror movies. But I went because I
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: wanted to support him. I hear Steve. I could just
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: see him right now. He is just thinking of how
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: he can make a horror movie and get a hundred
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: million dollars. You can follow me because I am scary
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: of everything. Yeah, surely, scared of dogs, everything. I told you,
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a hypnotize. I'm gonna get hypnotize. That's junior.
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: What are you scared of? What do you fool me.
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: Uh most I already ain't scared too much. You know, dogs,
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: I don't really food with dogs. Ain't scared. I just
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: don't fool with like you don't like stuff that don't
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: have the klus. Now a Yorkie. I have a Yorkie,
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: a little bit of Yorkie. He got teeth. And then
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: the dude when the dog beat me, the guy gonna
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: tell me what he never did that before? What he
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: never did that? But you know my problem. Dogs always
