- 1:05Speaker 1: Master Class. A chin Ogutu how you doing?
- 1:08Speaker 2: Hello?
- 1:09Speaker 1: Are you?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Can I just get out the way you look fantastic?
- 1:12Speaker 1: Can I just say that I just want to not
- 1:14Speaker 1: you know, if you want to hear it all run,
- 1:15Speaker 1: Just just go up to the bat and just start swinging.
- 1:18Speaker 2: You are all run. Thank you very much, Sean.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I'm so excited to be here today.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You know the thing about when I what I interview individuals,
- 1:27Speaker 1: especially from a glamorous standpoint of the world of beauty
- 1:31Speaker 1: or fitness, they're always stereotypes.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Okay, they come up with that.
- 1:35Speaker 1: People expect certain people to look a certain way. Now
- 1:39Speaker 1: you're bald, beautiful, yes, but do you fit the standard
- 1:47Speaker 1: of what people you think people are looking for? And
- 1:49Speaker 1: how did you break that barrier?
- 1:50Speaker 3: Yeah? No, I don't think I do. I've gotten a
- 1:54Speaker 3: lot of feedback and solicited feedback from people who think,
- 1:58Speaker 3: as a woman, it is very unfeminine of me to
- 2:01Speaker 3: cut my hair. I'm also a very like, vibrant and
- 2:05Speaker 3: vivacious and loud person and people think that all those
- 2:08Speaker 3: things are very not woman like. And wow, for me,
- 2:13Speaker 3: those are stereotypes that people are imposing on me based
- 2:16Speaker 3: off of their insecurities. So how I'm choosing to get
- 2:19Speaker 3: over that is that what they're going through has nothing
- 2:22Speaker 3: to do with me. I have one life on this
- 2:24Speaker 3: earth and if I can live it for myself doing
- 2:26Speaker 3: the things I want to do, being the person I know,
- 2:29Speaker 3: I truly am, and that's it, and I'm happy.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Well, you should be happy, because, like I said, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: first of all, there's that stereotype, stereotype of beauty. Then
- 2:41Speaker 1: you come from Kenya, yes, and I'm sure you have
- 2:44Speaker 1: to deal with stereotypes that give us some of the
- 2:46Speaker 1: stereotypes that you deal with people's perception of what Kenya is,
- 2:51Speaker 1: what people do for a living in Kenya, and as
- 2:54Speaker 1: you start to make the transition, let's start with the
- 2:56Speaker 1: stereotypes of Kenya in general.
- 2:59Speaker 3: That Kenyans can't speak English. Hey, I think people are
- 3:02Speaker 3: always like, you're from Kenya and you speak English. Yes,
- 3:06Speaker 3: And I went to international school back home. I'm very
- 3:10Speaker 3: well educated my parents my dad is an educator, and
- 3:13Speaker 3: so they are shocked that I can one speak English,
- 3:16Speaker 3: that I can speak more than one language. And I
- 3:20Speaker 3: think that's their limitation of them thinking that, especially Africans
- 3:26Speaker 3: don't have the opportunity to be educated. Another one is
- 3:33Speaker 3: is where I live. They are like surprised when I
- 3:36Speaker 3: post pictures when I'm back home, that like I live
- 3:38Speaker 3: in a house and a good house too, and that
- 3:41Speaker 3: my dad is driving me around in a car, and
- 3:44Speaker 3: that I'm not writing an elephant or like having a
- 3:47Speaker 3: petline like these stereotypes, because you know, social social media,
- 3:52Speaker 3: the media is that's what they show you, right, They
- 3:53Speaker 3: show you a video about how if you send a
- 3:57Speaker 3: dollar a day, you can save somebody in Uganda, you know.
- 4:00Speaker 3: And so I think it's so hard for them to
- 4:02Speaker 3: even comprehend that a woman like me can exist in
- 4:07Speaker 3: a space that like this, you know, and that in
- 4:13Speaker 3: regardless of my background, that I could still do this.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Wow, you know.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you, I believe everything you said
- 4:20Speaker 1: because i have grown up in the United States and
- 4:23Speaker 1: I've seen.
- 4:23Speaker 2: That dollar a day.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I've seen where they promote safaris all the time, big
- 4:30Speaker 1: game hunting all the time. I've been stereotyped with I
- 4:34Speaker 1: gotta say, tars and movies, you know. And these things
- 4:37Speaker 1: still dominate, whether you want to say or not, in
- 4:42Speaker 1: our media today. But more importantly, a lot of it
- 4:46Speaker 1: is just to suppress the intelligence of a race of people. Yes,
- 4:50Speaker 1: and I think that's where racism comes in. That's what
- 4:52Speaker 1: stereotypes are born out of. But now that you're overhear
- 4:55Speaker 1: mister Goto, Well, what have been some of your mentors
- 5:00Speaker 1: that have told you keep doing what you're doing, don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: worry about it, and we have to worry about What
- 5:06Speaker 1: are some of the mentors that will help you?
- 5:09Speaker 3: As in, somebody who's always been in my circle and
- 5:13Speaker 3: Mike Corner since ninety six are my parents, Okay, and
- 5:20Speaker 3: they have always wanted the best for me. My parents
- 5:23Speaker 3: have sacrificed so much for me to even be in
- 5:26Speaker 3: this space. And so for example them, I'm letting me
- 5:31Speaker 3: leave Kenya at sixteen to move to the US like
- 5:34Speaker 3: they want it better for me. So I would say
- 5:36Speaker 3: my parents have like such great, great, great mentors for me.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I also have an amazing manager who I'm obsessed with
- 5:45Speaker 3: like she is Mi Chris Jenner. She does make things
- 5:49Speaker 3: happen and she has been my champion for forever in
- 5:54Speaker 3: I think personally in my career. She has went to
- 5:58Speaker 3: you to push me and say, like you can do that,
- 6:00Speaker 3: you can work with this brand, you can walk into
- 6:02Speaker 3: those space and do whatever you need to do. You
- 6:05Speaker 3: can talk to that person you can step in this meeting.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And so that lady, I just I'm obsessed with her.
- 6:11Speaker 3: And my other mentor was my American mother who I
- 6:16Speaker 3: stayed with the first time I moved to the US,
- 6:20Speaker 3: and she was one of the people that really helped
- 6:23Speaker 3: me step out of my shell and be like, it's
- 6:25Speaker 3: okay for you to cut your hand and still feel
- 6:27Speaker 3: beautiful and sexy and confident. It's okay for you to
- 6:31Speaker 3: speak up and say you don't want to eat this,
- 6:33Speaker 3: or you don't wanna you don't wanna talk to this person,
- 6:37Speaker 3: or you don't want to wear this. And so she
- 6:39Speaker 3: has been an amazing support for me as well.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Well, you can't win without support. And I would tell
- 6:47Speaker 1: you this. You know my head is bald because I
- 6:51Speaker 1: have no choice.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Let you do that.
- 6:53Speaker 1: And your boy, I had the nature, came along mister
- 6:56Speaker 1: Gutu and went, okay, brother, either you go look like
- 7:00Speaker 1: your hair got problems or you're gonna cut it off
- 7:02Speaker 1: and cut it off and like.
- 7:04Speaker 2: You your head works.
- 7:06Speaker 1: You know, not everybody can cut their hair off that
- 7:08Speaker 1: so many people say that.
- 7:09Speaker 3: People say, like, you have a good head, and like,
- 7:11Speaker 3: I think everybody has a good head, But.
- 7:13Speaker 2: No don't just stop it right. There is to go to.
- 7:16Speaker 2: You have the right face, structure, smile, nose.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Head if everybody can't do it right because of you know,
- 7:25Speaker 1: just God is giving people certain things of value. So
- 7:29Speaker 1: now when you start talking about your manager, because I
- 7:32Speaker 1: want to go back to that, because sometimes you have
- 7:34Speaker 1: to have people see things in you that you don't see. Yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 1: like I said, your parents or your ultimate mentors, they
- 7:40Speaker 1: allowed you to come over to you in US when
- 7:41Speaker 1: you was sixteen. But how did this manage you come
- 7:44Speaker 1: into your life? And what was the motivation? Because she's
- 7:47Speaker 1: now you're a big motivator on your social media platform.
- 7:50Speaker 1: We go talk about that in a minute. Let's talk
- 7:52Speaker 1: about somebody who had to motivate you first.
- 7:55Speaker 3: So she actually came into my life in a season
- 7:58Speaker 3: where I was really about to give up. I was
- 8:01Speaker 3: about to stop doing social media and go full time
- 8:04Speaker 3: in corporate America, which I'm so glad that, you know.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I feel like the universe and God had was like,
- 8:11Speaker 3: we have something better for you. You better not give up today.
- 8:14Speaker 3: And on the day I was about to literally put
- 8:17Speaker 3: my pen down and say, you know what, hands up,
- 8:19Speaker 3: I'm good, I got an email from her, and she said,
- 8:23Speaker 3: introduce herself, and she said, listen, I've been watching you
- 8:27Speaker 3: for like a few months now, and you've really motivated
- 8:30Speaker 3: me to to, you know, do things in my life
- 8:33Speaker 3: that I was afraid to do, and you inspire me
- 8:36Speaker 3: and so many women, and I just want to see
- 8:38Speaker 3: if we can work together. I kind of just conquered
- 8:40Speaker 3: this space together. And I said yeah, I said, okay,
- 8:44Speaker 3: people are seeing you. You wanted you seeing me, I
- 8:46Speaker 3: was seeing you. And since that day she has whoa
- 8:51Speaker 3: like I can't even think this was two years ago.
- 8:55Speaker 3: At that point, I was overworked, I was in grad school,
- 9:01Speaker 3: I was sad, I was broke. I was just had
- 9:04Speaker 3: nothing to like kind of look forward to, even though
- 9:07Speaker 3: I was like really enjoying doing social media. And she
- 9:11Speaker 3: is the one who brought it to me and said, like, listen,
- 9:13Speaker 3: you have something in you that is special that people
- 9:18Speaker 3: would love to experience, that you can take far. And
- 9:21Speaker 3: so she's the one who continues to be like, I
- 9:24Speaker 3: know we are feeling like this, or I know you're
- 9:27Speaker 3: exhausted about this, or take time for yourself, but when
- 9:29Speaker 3: you're ready, come back and let's get back to business.
- 9:33Speaker 2: So that's lovely.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You know, because that's what you're doing now to worldwide
- 9:40Speaker 1: on the social media. Now you say you was doing
- 9:42Speaker 1: social media. I really to throwing the time this. I'm
- 9:47Speaker 1: just trying to whenever I talk to someone like you,
- 9:49Speaker 1: who's special, who's now found their brand, found their voice,
- 9:53Speaker 1: because that's what you found your voice. Now you're sharing
- 9:56Speaker 1: that voice worldwide. What are the trigger points for you
- 10:00Speaker 1: when you get up in the morning, and you, because
- 10:03Speaker 1: you're in your natural inspirational and I'm gonna just tear
- 10:06Speaker 1: you that up front. When I see you, I feel
- 10:08Speaker 1: the need to smile, I feel the need to, you know,
- 10:13Speaker 1: make sure you're happy. And I think that's important with
- 10:16Speaker 1: people like you. So what is the engagement points of
- 10:20Speaker 1: motivation when you get up in the morning.
- 10:23Speaker 3: So I have a pretty strict routine, and so I
- 10:28Speaker 3: make sure the morning especially it's for me because I
- 10:31Speaker 3: think it's so easy to get sucked into like I'm
- 10:34Speaker 3: getting up and I'm going on social and all these things.
- 10:37Speaker 3: And so I get up, I try and get in
- 10:42Speaker 3: my thirty minute heartgo walk, put on my skin, kichen.
- 10:48Speaker 2: What is the hot girl walking?
- 10:50Speaker 1: And I don't let that slid past meetings to go
- 10:52Speaker 1: through What is the hot girl walk, Girl walk.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Everybody needs to rishond. You need to get on your
- 10:57Speaker 3: hot go work energy too. I do my skincare and
- 11:01Speaker 3: I normally put on like my ie mask and my
- 11:03Speaker 3: face my face mask, my sheep mask, and I go
- 11:06Speaker 3: and strut around Brooklyn listening to music, kind of just
- 11:10Speaker 3: getting my energy up for the day. I love it. It's exciting.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I feel great. I'm also doing a little skincare so
- 11:17Speaker 3: I can be glowy as soon as I get back home.
- 11:20Speaker 3: So my it's thirty minutes of moving my body and
- 11:23Speaker 3: also reminding myself, like you know, my body can move
- 11:26Speaker 3: like I'm living in this you know temple. I can
- 11:29Speaker 3: be outside doing my thing, you.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Know, and I've just.
- 11:39Speaker 3: And so that, you know, thirty minutes hard god walk,
- 11:43Speaker 3: I'm feeling great. I come back and normally either pray
- 11:49Speaker 3: or I call my parents because love the favorite people
- 11:53Speaker 3: in the world. Talk to them. They're also my greatest
- 11:55Speaker 3: point of like motivation. My dad is the original noordinary
- 11:59Speaker 3: no are. He loves the camera. He loves to be
- 12:03Speaker 3: buggy and fine, and I feel like I get it
- 12:05Speaker 3: from him too, So he's he's always telling me a change,
- 12:09Speaker 3: today's your tea today. You can do whatever you want today.
- 12:12Speaker 3: You can be amazing both. I'm gonna have a great
- 12:15Speaker 3: day after that.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Please don't go anywhere. We'll be right back with more
- 12:20Speaker 4: money Making Conversations Masterclass. Welcome back to the Money Making
- 12:26Speaker 4: Conversations Masterclass, hosted by Rashaan McDonald. Money Making Conversations Masterclass
- 12:32Speaker 4: continues online at Moneymakingconversations dot com and follow money Making
- 12:36Speaker 4: Conversations Masterclass on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Here's the funny part. You went into an accent where
- 12:44Speaker 2: you start doing your dad.
- 12:46Speaker 1: You went from this perfect English to this African avert
- 12:50Speaker 1: together everything.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Okay, what did that come from?
- 12:54Speaker 2: Does her dad really talk like that with that accent?
- 12:56Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, oh, change do it. You're gonna be great. Yes, absolutely.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And so.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Those are like two of my really big things that
- 13:09Speaker 3: get me motivated. And I always do affirmations as well.
- 13:15Speaker 3: My best affirmation is you're safe within yourself, You're loved vibrantly, unconditionally,
- 13:22Speaker 3: and you're going places.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Kids.
- 13:24Speaker 3: We got things to do, places to go, things to experience.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Now, two years ago you said what your manager, Well,
- 13:31Speaker 1: dad wasn't there. Okay, Yeah, you know that motivation, that
- 13:36Speaker 1: person looking your eyes and telling them does she see
- 13:39Speaker 1: what you don't see yet? Now you see it now?
- 13:42Speaker 1: And your social media? Every reason I could going back
- 13:45Speaker 1: to your manager because I always tell people everybody you know,
- 13:48Speaker 1: your parents, you know, they're gonna support you.
- 13:52Speaker 2: They supposed to support you.
- 13:53Speaker 1: It's the strangers that come in and see you.
- 13:55Speaker 2: That's what catch you off gard And I think that's wow.
- 13:58Speaker 2: What did she say?
- 14:00Speaker 3: Real?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Okay?
- 14:01Speaker 1: So now we're going to go to the Sports Illustrated
- 14:04Speaker 1: twenty twenty four Swimsuit because all this happened in two years.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Miss miss hot Walk, how girl walk? Okay?
- 14:13Speaker 2: How did that come about? Did you submit?
- 14:15Speaker 1: Folks?
- 14:15Speaker 2: You sub miss photo? Did you have interviews? Were you
- 14:18Speaker 2: were you doing some things that led up to that moment?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Because I know people want to know how that experience
- 14:23Speaker 1: comes about for anybody, How did they come about for you?
- 14:27Speaker 3: So Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has an swim search opportunity and
- 14:35Speaker 3: they do it every year. And so I said, listen,
- 14:39Speaker 3: this year is going to be my year. So I
- 14:40Speaker 3: put in a video and I sent it in, sent
- 14:44Speaker 3: it in with the grace of God. I say, please,
- 14:45Speaker 3: this has to be my portion. It has to be
- 14:47Speaker 3: mine because I know I deserve that opportunity and that
- 14:50Speaker 3: position and that space. And I sent it in and
- 14:55Speaker 3: I thought it was fabulous and gorgeous. And a few
- 14:59Speaker 3: months I was actually in Kenya and I get an
- 15:06Speaker 3: email in the middle of the night saying, oh, you
- 15:09Speaker 3: have been selected for Top twelve as the way top
- 15:14Speaker 3: twenty four.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I said to me, okay, okay, you just sent a
- 15:18Speaker 1: video in. Yeah, so you send up making Top twenty four.
- 15:21Speaker 3: So you send a video talking about yourself, what inspires you,
- 15:25Speaker 3: what makes you happy, what makes you wake up in
- 15:27Speaker 3: the morning, why you think you'd be a great up,
- 15:30Speaker 3: like a great person to be part of the Rookies.
- 15:34Speaker 3: So it wasn't just a video of me being cute,
- 15:35Speaker 3: which I think can also work, but it was I
- 15:38Speaker 3: was talking about my story and what inspires me and
- 15:41Speaker 3: why I love SI and why I think it's important
- 15:43Speaker 3: to have people.
- 15:44Speaker 1: So your story, you feel, was a dominant component of
- 15:48Speaker 1: you being selected at least in the top twenty four.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Absolutely, because for me, my biggest thing with my platform
- 15:56Speaker 3: and my brand is to make sure that women who
- 16:00Speaker 3: look like me and talk like me, and have the
- 16:01Speaker 3: same life experiences as me, have a platform and have
- 16:05Speaker 3: a space where they can feel seen because we can't
- 16:08Speaker 3: just wait for the next Lupitza Yogo to show up, right,
- 16:10Speaker 3: we can't wait for the motivation and why we can't
- 16:13Speaker 3: wait for the inspiration. So it just has to be you.
- 16:16Speaker 3: So why not we? You know? And so I sent
- 16:19Speaker 3: in a video about you know, my life and my
- 16:22Speaker 3: story and why I think that's important. And I got
- 16:28Speaker 3: selectually for top twenty four, then got down to top twelve,
- 16:33Speaker 3: and just last summer before I walk the Sports Illustrated
- 16:37Speaker 3: swim Suit show in Miami, I got picked as the
- 16:41Speaker 3: top seven and got announced as rookie, which is so exciting.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Wow. You know, you know, I know.
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's a lot of the things you left out because
- 16:54Speaker 1: you know it was a journey. You know, it's not
- 16:57Speaker 1: you know, we could say she went from you know,
- 17:00Speaker 1: I wrote this beautiful story about me.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I just sit in there. I'm sending it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Ken you get this email up the top twenty four.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I'm walking a runway and never realized bad I'm a rookie.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I'm a rook.
- 17:16Speaker 1: But that's you know something, when you start telling your story,
- 17:20Speaker 1: it is that easy because you decided to make an effort,
- 17:23Speaker 1: and a lot of people stop themselves will go to
- 17:27Speaker 1: by not making that effort. And that's what I always
- 17:29Speaker 1: talk about and this show. I always tell you some
- 17:30Speaker 1: of my biggest enemies are ourselves. I always tell people
- 17:36Speaker 1: when you look you over said, when you wake up,
- 17:37Speaker 1: wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and
- 17:39Speaker 1: that's me. You know, it's not gonna change. I'm not
- 17:43Speaker 1: suddenly become white. I'm not suddenly gonna become small. My
- 17:46Speaker 1: skin complex is not gonna change. My teeth aren't.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Getting any whiter. This is me. You have to live
- 17:52Speaker 2: in it.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And I also believe what you are delivering, it's what's
- 17:55Speaker 1: going to win. And that's what I come across with
- 17:58Speaker 1: you. Your parents gave you the foundation in your manager.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Was the uplift, the uplift in your life.
- 18:05Speaker 1: And now as you sit here and we're talking about
- 18:08Speaker 1: being twenty twenty four Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie, what do
- 18:12Speaker 1: you mean? What do you think that means for people
- 18:15Speaker 1: in America who see you and most important people back
- 18:18Speaker 1: in Kenya.
- 18:19Speaker 3: I think it shows that literally anyone, anyone can do it.
- 18:24Speaker 3: You just have to have that little I just an
- 18:30Speaker 3: ounce of belief in yourself can take you so far.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I have gotten so much rejection in my life from working,
- 18:40Speaker 3: from you know, relationships, through life. And if I did
- 18:45Speaker 3: not have that little belief in myself that that rejection
- 18:48Speaker 3: was just redirecting me to the sweet spot I needed
- 18:50Speaker 3: to be in so I could be the best version
- 18:52Speaker 3: of myself, then I wouldn't be sitting here with you, Rashaan, kicking,
- 18:57Speaker 3: you know, having fun.
- 19:00Speaker 2: You know, I got to say this to you because
- 19:02Speaker 2: you know, some time.
- 19:02Speaker 1: We use that word like anybody, you're not anybody. Let
- 19:06Speaker 1: me go and just say that, you know, you're not
- 19:08Speaker 1: You're not. Don't be realm it, don't be real because
- 19:11Speaker 1: of the fact that it's a lot of beautiful people
- 19:14Speaker 1: out there. There's a lot of people got that high
- 19:16Speaker 1: girl walk okay, but do there? Because I do social media,
- 19:21Speaker 1: it's a task to motivate people. It's a task to
- 19:26Speaker 1: get up and respond to people who respond to your motivation.
- 19:30Speaker 2: It's a lot of work to do to be you.
- 19:34Speaker 2: You know, let's gon be real. Double a.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm telling you double a okay because of the fact
- 19:39Speaker 1: that if you understand that, then you you know, people
- 19:43Speaker 1: appreciate you even more. And so when I got out
- 19:47Speaker 1: of the opportunity to interview you. I grew up with
- 19:49Speaker 1: six sisters, and so six sisters in America African American
- 19:54Speaker 1: black women of color, and they've all been told what
- 19:58Speaker 1: they can do.
- 20:00Speaker 2: When I see somebody like you. When you stepped in for.
- 20:02Speaker 1: The shoot, did you feel surreal or did you feel
- 20:08Speaker 1: that you were making a statement of making a difference.
- 20:11Speaker 2: What were your thoughts at the shoot.
- 20:14Speaker 3: First of all, it was the best day of my life.
- 20:18Speaker 3: It was very much I don't know how to describe this.
- 20:23Speaker 3: There's many spaces I've walked in where I feel like
- 20:27Speaker 3: an imposter syndrome, like I don't know if I really
- 20:29Speaker 3: belong here, But on that day, it was such a
- 20:32Speaker 3: dale of confirmation for me that I am exactly where
- 20:35Speaker 3: I need to be, doing exactly what I'm supposed to
- 20:37Speaker 3: be doing around the people, and I'm supposed to be
- 20:39Speaker 3: around so I it was insane. It was surreal. First
- 20:45Speaker 3: of all, were shooting in a beautiful location.
- 20:49Speaker 5: My skin was glowing, the music history, the water looked beautiful,
- 20:55Speaker 5: and I can't Also, I'll make sure to send you
- 20:58Speaker 5: a copy once it comes up, because we gotta celebrate that.
- 21:01Speaker 2: I'm it better be an autogram.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna if you send me a plain magazine, I'm
- 21:07Speaker 1: gonna be so mad that I'm gonna go on social
- 21:09Speaker 1: media said I.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Got the hot girl walk from a Gutu and she
- 21:13Speaker 2: didn't even send me no magazine.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Same on that rookie.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Your rookie, I'm gonna call you an amateur. It's autographed every theater.
- 21:25Speaker 3: But it was a very special day and honestly a
- 21:30Speaker 3: confirmation for a lot of hard work that I put
- 21:33Speaker 3: into my career and what I do every day. So
- 21:36Speaker 3: it was amazing. That's all you need to know.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Okay, let me so, let me just talk about my perception.
- 21:42Speaker 1: It's gonna be personality driven. Absolutely, it's gonna be motivating.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I gotta sell the people because then you can't tell.
- 21:49Speaker 1: But I gotta tell from a guy who's been there,
- 21:52Speaker 1: working with a fantastic talent.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And an interview. This is what you're gonna get.
- 21:56Speaker 1: First of all, you're gonna get, Yes, First of all,
- 22:00Speaker 1: gonna get that double a. I called her hot girl
- 22:02Speaker 1: walk all day, loan out all day loan Shes gonna
- 22:06Speaker 1: be motivated.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yes, he's gonna be uplifted.
- 22:08Speaker 1: More importantly, honest, Yes, very very honest. Yes, Because you're
- 22:16Speaker 1: going to tell us because you've been there for us.
- 22:18Speaker 1: You've been there, and I think that's what's important. I
- 22:20Speaker 1: think that's what is accelerating your success right now because
- 22:26Speaker 1: you I don't.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I don't.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Nothing you've told me in this interview feels contrived. Nothing
- 22:31Speaker 1: feels fake, even when I teach you by going into
- 22:33Speaker 1: your father's accent, you know, because that's the honest side
- 22:39Speaker 1: of you.
- 22:39Speaker 2: And and you go through these things.
- 22:42Speaker 1: And are you gonna get into potential clothing lines or
- 22:47Speaker 1: anything like that, any speaking tours or any acting I
- 22:52Speaker 1: know this show is here, but it's just another stepping
- 22:55Speaker 1: stone or what that fantastic manage you have is delivering
- 22:59Speaker 1: for you.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Yes, I think I want to give my audiences experiences.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I don't think having a tangible product will do a
- 23:11Speaker 3: lot for my audience at this point. Like you know,
- 23:14Speaker 3: get a cute outfit. You can get a cute for
- 23:15Speaker 3: outfit anywhere, you know what I mean. But I want,
- 23:18Speaker 3: I have. We have toyed with this for so long,
- 23:21Speaker 3: and I think like a retreat or a confidence tour
- 23:23Speaker 3: is something that I'm looking up or looking into and
- 23:27Speaker 3: something that I think would be fun and exciting and
- 23:30Speaker 3: would actually make a difference in people's lives. So definitely
- 23:34Speaker 3: that's what I'm thinking about that I'm gonna be doing
- 23:36Speaker 3: way more speaking engagements this year. So whoever is watching,
- 23:40Speaker 3: I might be in your city at some point. It
- 23:42Speaker 3: coming keiky and hang out with me. But I think
- 23:46Speaker 3: for me, this is the year of the Superstar. Yes, absolutely,
- 23:52Speaker 3: for me, this is the year of the Superstar, and
- 23:55Speaker 3: I'm just ready to take it to the moon.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Wow, you know first of all, and thank you for
- 24:01Speaker 1: coming to my shelle asolutely. Thank you for blessing me.
- 24:05Speaker 2: With having it.

- 24:06Speaker 1: You know, I get up at four thirty in the morning,
- 24:08Speaker 1: so these days can get long, and I do a
- 24:10Speaker 1: lot of these interviews and I've been laughing. I've been
- 24:15Speaker 1: joking to Rob and asking you court, this doesn't even
- 24:17Speaker 1: feel life work.
- 24:18Speaker 2: This another job.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I love it, and I think that's the fun part
- 24:22Speaker 1: of what you're gonna bring to the table. And my
- 24:24Speaker 1: whole goal in life is to help build your brain.
- 24:27Speaker 2: You don't know me.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I'm a family member, and I okay. Down in Atlanta,
- 24:31Speaker 1: you said you know somebody. Yeah, I know Rashan mcdull.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Oh you can let them know that that's my boy.
- 24:36Speaker 1: You can put that's my boy tied to it because
- 24:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna take care of my bout Rashaun McDonald lived
- 24:42Speaker 1: down there. Okay, cool, because when you come down here,
