- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out, turning, got the turnout the
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn turn water to the water. Go. Come, come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing. I sure will a good marning everybody. You'll
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, today
- 2:12Speaker 1: is simple. I want to tell you. I want to
- 2:18Speaker 1: just talk to you about effort today. Just about effort.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You know, it's it's it's it's a word that people
- 2:27Speaker 1: use to describe sometimes trying. But what I found out
- 2:33Speaker 1: about trying is trying is just a noble way of
- 2:37Speaker 1: saying you didn't get it done. I tried when and
- 2:43Speaker 1: then everybody go, well, he tried, that was the best.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Well that's that's not exactly true, though that that's that's
- 2:51Speaker 1: not exactly true. You are and I want to talk
- 2:54Speaker 1: to you about that because I don't want you to
- 2:57Speaker 1: be one of the people who just tried. See trying,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I mean, I gotta tell you to attempt something. You're
- 3:06Speaker 1: gonna have to first try, but I want you to
- 3:09Speaker 1: change your mindset from trying to getting it done. See,
- 3:15Speaker 1: that's a big difference. I'm really more apt to listen
- 3:18Speaker 1: to the person that says to me, I'm gonna get
- 3:21Speaker 1: it done. I'm gonna try. What try does is it
- 3:25Speaker 1: allows you to fail. It's the person that has the
- 3:28Speaker 1: mindset that I'm gonna get it done. Is the person
- 3:31Speaker 1: who changes the complexion of things. I'm gonna get it done.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's very different than I'm gonna try. You know. Look, man,
- 3:39Speaker 1: I know this sounds a little harsh, but you gotta
- 3:43Speaker 1: stop feeding yourself these little old wise sayings that ain't
- 3:48Speaker 1: it was a valiant tribe. Hey man, you talk to
- 3:52Speaker 1: anybody that took second place in the super Bowl and
- 3:55Speaker 1: see how they feel about their valiant try. The only
- 3:59Speaker 1: way to gain God's real blessings is you have to
- 4:05Speaker 1: try something. Steve your backpedaling, now, listen to me close.
- 4:13Speaker 1: You have to put forth an effort to allow God
- 4:19Speaker 1: to put his finger on something to bless on your behalf.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You must start to attempt now, insane getting it done
- 4:30Speaker 1: and I'm gonna try. That's a difference of two different
- 4:33Speaker 1: faiths to me that I'm just talking about me. Now,
- 4:37Speaker 1: you may be different, so I can't. I can't say
- 4:40Speaker 1: this about you, but I can't say this about me.
- 4:44Speaker 1: If I say I'm gonna get it done, I have
- 4:48Speaker 1: a lot of faith in it. I am going to
- 4:52Speaker 1: get it done because I just don't see failure as
- 4:55Speaker 1: an option. A lot of times now, if somebody says
- 4:59Speaker 1: to me, like the Olympic team invited me out to
- 5:03Speaker 1: curl one day, which is throw these stones on the ice.
- 5:06Speaker 1: If you're not familiar with it's very simple, and so
- 5:09Speaker 1: I said, man, I'd like to give that a try.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I went in full well knowing I may not come
- 5:19Speaker 1: away from this little curling lesson as a person who
- 5:25Speaker 1: could make the Olympic team. I just wanted to try
- 5:27Speaker 1: it because I thought it looked cool, and I always
- 5:29Speaker 1: wanted to get it done. Well. I failed twice. I
- 5:33Speaker 1: threw a stone completely into the other lane. I lost
- 5:37Speaker 1: that little ice shoe. It shot out under me. But
- 5:41Speaker 1: you know what, I kept trying though. I kept trying
- 5:45Speaker 1: until I got four of them stones in that circle
- 5:48Speaker 1: right where I ain't. But now had I give it
- 5:51Speaker 1: up after I failed, after I threw that stone in
- 5:56Speaker 1: the other lane, after I shot my shoe down all
- 5:59Speaker 1: the way to the atom side, the little ice shoe
- 6:01Speaker 1: they give you, I never would did it. But because
- 6:04Speaker 1: I was trying. Something got me together a little bit
- 6:09Speaker 1: because of my effort, and it caused me not to
- 6:11Speaker 1: fall the next time, not to throw it into other lane,
- 6:14Speaker 1: not to shoot my shoe to the back of the wall.
- 6:18Speaker 1: All of a sudden, my trying became something. Now had
- 6:22Speaker 1: I stayed out there and it wasn't so cold, and
- 6:25Speaker 1: I went back week after week after week after week,
- 6:28Speaker 1: I promise you I could get it done. I could
- 6:33Speaker 1: at least know how to compete in a game of curling.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Might not be the best. I might not win the championship,
- 6:41Speaker 1: but I could have got it done to the point
- 6:43Speaker 1: where I could have competed in the game of curling.
- 6:45Speaker 1: So sometimes if you're scared to say I'm gonna get
- 6:49Speaker 1: it done, just go out there and get started. You know,
- 6:53Speaker 1: learn from every attempt that you make. See, don't quit
- 6:57Speaker 1: writing yourself off as a failure every time. Don't go right.
- 7:01Speaker 1: When I failed on that ice, I could have said, man,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I can't curl. But hold up, man, I'm watching four
- 7:06Speaker 1: other women out here curl for other dudes. Iut hit
- 7:08Speaker 1: curl a little kids out d curling. Hold up, Pardner,
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know, man, So I learned when I threw that
- 7:14Speaker 1: stone on the other ice, when I when I fail,
- 7:17Speaker 1: when when my shoe shot off, I learned from every
- 7:20Speaker 1: attempt a little bit more about it. And then I
- 7:25Speaker 1: said to myself at one point time, man, I'm gonna
- 7:28Speaker 1: get this stone in that circle. I'm gonna get this
- 7:31Speaker 1: stone in this circle. And guess what I got it done.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Now what you're saying to me, Steve, I'm saying to
- 7:39Speaker 1: you that you gotta get started, that you gotta put
- 7:43Speaker 1: forth an effort. Give God something to bless. Oh God,
- 7:46Speaker 1: bless me, Oh God, bless me. Bless you? What? Bless you? Where?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Bless you? How? Stop basing your results on what you're thinking.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You gotta think higher. You get God in your life, man,
- 7:58Speaker 1: He allows you to think bigger, better more. I'm sitting
- 8:04Speaker 1: up in my debt. I came up with a plan
- 8:06Speaker 1: to get out of debt in five years. I came
- 8:08Speaker 1: up with this plan right. I was sitting up and
- 8:10Speaker 1: I was tripping on it now, I said, wait a minute, man,
- 8:13Speaker 1: hold up, this is what I came up with. I said,
- 8:16Speaker 1: God created heaven and earth, all of it, the mountains,
- 8:23Speaker 1: the sky, the valleys, the oceans, trees, the birds, the
- 8:29Speaker 1: Indian Ocean, all of it, made all of it in
- 8:32Speaker 1: six days, and then he rested on the seven. So
- 8:38Speaker 1: why am I taking to God the five year plan?
- 8:43Speaker 1: If he can create heaven and earth in six days,
- 8:47Speaker 1: why am I walking in there talking about helped me
- 8:49Speaker 1: in five years? How is it gonna take God five
- 8:54Speaker 1: years to getting me out of debt? And he made
- 8:57Speaker 1: heaven and earth in six days? Due the math? Hill, man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ain't that big. You ain't that big. You ain't
- 9:05Speaker 1: in that much trouble. I ain't in that much trouble. See,
- 9:08Speaker 1: God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 9:11Speaker 1: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 9:14Speaker 1: some effort on your part. Man, Get out and do something. Man,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you God will bless you a little bit, and he
- 9:19Speaker 1: give you a little bit more courage. And then all
- 9:22Speaker 1: them attempts you making is gonna and all this so
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'll try you know what that turn into. I'm gonna
- 9:26Speaker 1: get it done. And at the end of the day,
- 9:29Speaker 1: that's what you have to do, because trying to pay
- 9:32Speaker 1: your rent and not paying your rent, it's two different things.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You can try to play or pay your rent, or
- 9:38Speaker 1: you can get it done. Now, how long you think
- 9:40Speaker 1: you're gonna stay in that house trying? You got to
- 9:43Speaker 1: go with the mindset of getting it done. And if
- 9:45Speaker 1: you can put some stuff out there and give God
- 9:47Speaker 1: a chance to put his finger on it and bless
- 9:49Speaker 1: it for you the most stuff he can do for you,
- 9:51Speaker 1: quit looking around what everybody else got and gonna get
- 9:54Speaker 1: some of it for yourself. Okay, all right, you're listening
- 9:57Speaker 1: to show. Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, we have nothing
- 10:05Speaker 1: to do with it. It is Monday, deal with it. Okay.

- 11:42Speaker 1: like everyone had a great weekend. Good. Yeah, like you said,

- 11:48Speaker 1: and I mean we got so much to be thankful for.
- 11:50Speaker 1: You know what I'm learning to do. I am learning
- 11:54Speaker 1: to rest, which is something I used to didn't do it,

- 12:59Speaker 1: How about all back that I go back than that? Man? Right? When? When?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Where can you throw those old files out and say, okay,
- 13:10Speaker 1: I don't need this no more? That ain't gonna afraid

- 15:29Speaker 1: My aunt and uncle paid my college tuition, and I'm
- 15:32Speaker 1: grateful for that, but I'm sick of my aunt judging me.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I have a degree, but I can't find a job,
- 15:40Speaker 1: so I work part time as a waitress at a
- 15:42Speaker 1: strip club, which is an embarrassment to my aunt. What
- 15:46Speaker 1: she doesn't know is that her husband comes in the
- 15:48Speaker 1: club often. Should I tell her so she can really
- 15:51Speaker 1: be embarrassed up in the building of a First of all,
- 16:00Speaker 1: I want to tell your aunt and cutting that uncle

- 16:17Speaker 1: she's bringing in top dollars each week. You don't want
- 16:20Speaker 1: to cut that out, so you don't tell your aunt
- 16:23Speaker 1: nothing that ain't gonna her. Damn, b where he going?
- 16:26Speaker 1: All right? That ain't his business that he gotta go
- 16:29Speaker 1: down and see a little nice ice. Fred booty, you know,
- 16:37Speaker 1: you know what, you know what, you gotta do what
- 16:39Speaker 1: you got. You can make a little more money if
- 16:41Speaker 1: she quit waiting on them tables and start dancing on them.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I'm just a He's what a big money is. Here's
- 16:50Speaker 1: what a big money in time, and she's missing this
- 16:52Speaker 1: whole thing. Tell your uncle that if he don't increase

- 17:26Speaker 1: while my wife still works. I noticed a new female
- 17:29Speaker 1: moving in across the street. So I went to say
- 17:32Speaker 1: hi and welcome. My wife drove up as I was
- 17:35Speaker 1: standing in the lady's yard. She walked across the street,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and instead of greeting the lady, she told me to
- 17:42Speaker 1: get my ass back across the street. I had never
- 17:46Speaker 1: seen my wife so jealous. My wife said she used
- 17:49Speaker 1: to work with the lady and she can't stand her.
- 17:51Speaker 1: How was that supposed to know? How can I fix
- 17:54Speaker 1: this with my wife? That's crazy right there? That is no, no,
- 18:01Speaker 1: that's more embarrassing than your mama telling you pass somebody playground,
- 18:05Speaker 1: telling about go home when your wife pass. But you
- 18:07Speaker 1: don't get your hands back across the straight. It's wrong
- 18:09Speaker 1: with you? Tell me. It's something that if you don't
- 18:12Speaker 1: bring your ass back over here where you live, you
- 18:14Speaker 1: don't live over there. Over there, get out of her

- 18:39Speaker 1: ever greeted the unattractive neighbor. Yeah, he should have stayed
- 18:43Speaker 1: his butt in the house. He knows, Ye, he should have.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But you know, when you find and you move next though,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you got problems. Okay, that's on you. That's on you.
- 18:52Speaker 1: That's fine. We do know she find we don't we?
- 18:57Speaker 1: I noticed, We know you. Yeah to see hi to
- 19:05Speaker 1: the ugly neighbor. You just this very telling. It's it's
- 19:11Speaker 1: very telling. I noticed a new female moving in across
- 19:14Speaker 1: the street, so I went to say hi and welcome.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Attractive you get away from the driveway. That's all. Yeah
- 19:24Speaker 1: about it walking across the street. And you're right, you're

- 19:45Speaker 1: a big problem because all of them want to visit
- 19:48Speaker 1: me in my hometown for Christmas. I'm ready to get
- 19:50Speaker 1: married and settled down, and I'm dating the lady, so
- 19:52Speaker 1: I can choose one. But the holidays of this year
- 19:55Speaker 1: could ruin everything. If I pretend to be out of town,
- 19:58Speaker 1: they're gonna come where I am. Should I schedule time
- 20:01Speaker 1: to see them over the Christmas holidays in New York.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Don't stretch yourself. What is COVID? You've been to catch COVID?
- 20:10Speaker 1: Do what you need to do is though the holidays
- 20:14Speaker 1: really depressed me. It brings me down. And this is
- 20:17Speaker 1: the time I just don't want to be around nobody.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Don't take the personal I just don't want to be
- 20:23Speaker 1: around people around the holiday. Okay, so just lie did
- 20:26Speaker 1: this COVID? All right, we gotta go. Coming up next,

- 20:46Speaker 1: of our New York governor's Andrew Cuomo, allegedcy sexually he
- 20:50Speaker 1: asked her. Also in national headlines, the Electoral College meets
- 20:54Speaker 1: today to cast their votes for president and vice president.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And entertainment news. Yeah, we are all still very very
- 21:02Speaker 1: hurt about the passing of actor Tiny Lister. Um. We're
- 21:05Speaker 1: praying for the Lister family, of course. And uh, last
- 21:09Speaker 1: night's versus battle was canceled. Um, while a lot going
- 21:13Speaker 1: on very busy day. We'll talk about all of these
- 21:15Speaker 1: stories at the top of the hour, but right now
- 21:17Speaker 1: it is Monday. Time to have some church complaints, have
- 21:20Speaker 1: some fun with Deacon Depth Jam and Reverend Adnoid in
- 21:24Speaker 1: for Reverend Motown. Yeah, well, ill come at you you do.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I let me step in here. I'm Deacon
- 21:33Speaker 1: death Jam. As you know, I Reverend Motown is out,
- 21:36Speaker 1: but Reverend Adnoid in the building. Do you know what
- 21:41Speaker 1: Motown is? Do you know what he's up to while
- 21:43Speaker 1: he's done? I don't know what? No, I don't he
- 21:48Speaker 1: did he tell you he was leaving? I had I
- 21:50Speaker 1: didn't hear anything. You just like that, just just but
- 21:56Speaker 1: to say, Monday really knew he could just go and
- 21:58Speaker 1: come like that. Don't say that nobody. Man, God that
- 22:03Speaker 1: you deal with it when he gets back. But yeah, yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 1: he's out. He wasn't at service yesterday, so that's but
- 22:09Speaker 1: don't worry about then. Let's get to the complaints and
- 22:12Speaker 1: now you can tell me how you feel about him.
- 22:14Speaker 1: All right, and I have a dumpments you have come.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I thought she would have some announcements. Let me give
- 22:20Speaker 1: you this first. We got to do something about this.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Sister Rodanda Gateway has decided to freeze some of her
- 22:26Speaker 1: eggs so she can have kids later. Problem to me is,
- 22:30Speaker 1: she already got six kids from six different baby Daddy.
- 22:33Speaker 1: She don't need to freeze. She need to freeze something else.
- 22:36Speaker 1: That of these eggs. It's not the edge baby on
- 22:41Speaker 1: those like say this, But she needed free them legs, legs, freedom,
- 22:50Speaker 1: freezome clothes. That's what throws. You throw close them and
- 22:54Speaker 1: then freeze them. That's what. Wow, that's funny right there,
- 23:06Speaker 1: All right, here we go, All right, go ahead, here
- 23:09Speaker 1: we go with the church announcement. The church adouns if
- 23:12Speaker 1: you do not have the money to buy Paddy pies,
- 23:16Speaker 1: they're very expensive, but they're good you want to save
- 23:19Speaker 1: little Patrick pies will be on soul and selves and
- 23:23Speaker 1: preach reached gas station doing his break time. Now he
- 23:27Speaker 1: asked you don't come down there on his job asking
- 23:30Speaker 1: about them pies. You'll you'll know when he's outside of
- 23:34Speaker 1: the gas station he'll be selling them pies. But if
- 23:36Speaker 1: you want to save a little money and you can't
- 23:38Speaker 1: afford them paddy pies, Patrick will be selling his pies.
- 23:43Speaker 1: This is the ideals. Trying to be cool. Patrick didn't
- 23:50Speaker 1: have to praise. Go right ahead, go ahead, We got
- 23:53Speaker 1: a problem here. Brother Titus has election cuted his face
- 23:57Speaker 1: for some reason. He decided to hook up some Christmas
- 24:00Speaker 1: lights to his end ninety five masks. It's gonna be
- 24:05Speaker 1: six months before he can eat regularly, but he's wearing.
- 24:09Speaker 1: He wants us to figure out how to get some
- 24:11Speaker 1: shittlings through a straw for New Years. It is so
- 24:15Speaker 1: many that I've seen him, and we just see him
- 24:17Speaker 1: in the huspital. He has a permanent smile on the space.
- 24:20Speaker 1: So what we're gonna do is make him a greater
- 24:23Speaker 1: done at Walmart. You're gonna be too greed because he's
- 24:26Speaker 1: always smiling so well, you know, his eyebrowsers burnt completely
- 24:31Speaker 1: later off his face, so he looks he looks surprised
- 24:34Speaker 1: when you see him, he looks surprised. He has a
- 24:36Speaker 1: butt neeked face. Really that your head? That now? All right?
- 24:47Speaker 1: Santa Claus has decided to be real with the kids.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Just be real. We're gonna cut talking to Santa on
- 24:54Speaker 1: zoom down the thirty seconds. Thirty seconds. That's listen, listen,
- 25:01Speaker 1: listen thirty seconds. First of all, ain't nobody working and
- 25:06Speaker 1: you ain't getting that much stuff, So ending out, all right,
- 25:09Speaker 1: there ain't nobody working. You ain't get that much damn stuff.
- 25:13Speaker 1: So thirty seconds ending out on zoom. Keep it moving,
- 25:17Speaker 1: keep it moving, go run ahead. What you got. We
- 25:19Speaker 1: got a problem here. Brother Cedric Banks has been wiping
- 25:24Speaker 1: his hands and face with Cloe Rocks whites, not his
- 25:28Speaker 1: entire facing his hand and turning white. The members are
- 25:31Speaker 1: asking you to stop him from attending zoom service because
- 25:34Speaker 1: they think it's a white man that they don't know,
- 25:36Speaker 1: so they standing the heall out of him. So in
- 25:43Speaker 1: the church, scary looking, that's Cedric Banks. That's look at
- 25:52Speaker 1: that ere Cedric. Okay, yes, sick, go ahead at now
- 26:02Speaker 1: all right, the church has decided since Kamala Harris has
- 26:06Speaker 1: been elected as vice president vice presim should the ladies
- 26:10Speaker 1: will be very happy with the decision. And in the
- 26:13Speaker 1: in the Christmas play that we're doing them soon. Instead
- 26:17Speaker 1: of doing the Three Wise Men, we're gonna go with
- 26:20Speaker 1: the three wise women, the three wise women, and these
- 26:25Speaker 1: are guests. So far, we got Megan, the stadium has
- 26:28Speaker 1: agreed to be a wise Oh yeah, and we got
- 26:33Speaker 1: little So that's gonna be great. That's gonna be a

- 26:51Speaker 1: has he ain't been able to work. She's asking to
- 26:54Speaker 1: could she do a virtuous show for the mayor church
- 26:57Speaker 1: members and we took through cash out. Yeah, Junior, would
- 27:02Speaker 1: you like hut would you like? I've seen such a
- 27:05Speaker 1: sugar booty and uh yeah, I will be there. You
- 27:11Speaker 1: didn't have to ask me. Sugar Booty going on. Man,
- 27:15Speaker 1: call sugar Booty for nothing. Ain't like getting regular booty,
- 27:19Speaker 1: suar booty. If you want something sweet for the holiday,

- 28:22Speaker 1: church complaints, Reverend ad no it and for Reverend Motown
- 28:25Speaker 1: and Deacon deaf Jam. Coming up at the top of
- 28:27Speaker 1: the hour, Entertainment National News right after this. You're listening
- 28:35Speaker 1: in today's trending news and entertainment news. Everyone is still
- 28:39Speaker 1: sad about the death of actor Tommy Tiny listener. Yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 1: I mean really, but you know what was wrong. He
- 28:47Speaker 1: didn't really realize how strong he was. We choke you
- 28:52Speaker 1: and so he played choke you and he forgets how
- 28:56Speaker 1: strong he was, and you like, here's playing and hurt.
- 29:02Speaker 1: He was cool, though, man, real good, real good. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: he was a very nice man. Um. Yeah wow, I mean,
- 29:12Speaker 1: twenty twenty has just been a rough year. It's been
- 29:15Speaker 1: a rough ye word that a tiny lister passed away
- 29:19Speaker 1: over the weekend. He battled COVID nineteen earlier this year,
- 29:22Speaker 1: and it appears that those COVID symptoms had come back.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Uh so to his family, we want to just say
- 29:29Speaker 1: rest in peace. Debots, Yeah, yeah, very much. Yeah, we're
- 29:36Speaker 1: sending our condolences to the list your family, um and
- 29:40Speaker 1: now switching gears this speaking of COVID. Carla, tell us
- 29:45Speaker 1: what happened with the Versus Battle. Well, the Versus battle
- 29:49Speaker 1: was supposed to be last night, you know the R
- 29:52Speaker 1: and B the I said nineties the other day, that's
- 29:54Speaker 1: in correct, two thousand from the you know begin in
- 29:59Speaker 1: a two thousand era R and B. But Ashanti tested
- 30:03Speaker 1: positive for COVID. Yes, yes, she says she's yeah, she
- 30:08Speaker 1: says she's doing fine. She did a live video, you know,
- 30:12Speaker 1: a live on Instagram and Keisha Cole popped on the
- 30:16Speaker 1: live and just you know, Ashanti was like, well, I
- 30:19Speaker 1: could do it from home or whatever. Keisha was like, noah,
- 30:22Speaker 1: let's just wasting and you love since you know, they
- 30:25Speaker 1: want to be you know together like the other Versus battle, right,
- 30:29Speaker 1: So it's been rescheduled to January. But coming up, yeah,

- 30:56Speaker 1: that's gonna be fun. Yeah. Yeah. So that's the next
- 30:59Speaker 1: Versus Battle going to Saturday, December nineteenth. Today you're going
- 31:02Speaker 1: to music News all right, Well, thank you, Carla. Also
- 31:05Speaker 1: now j Anthony Brown. We touched on this a little
- 31:07Speaker 1: bit last week, but it seems like there's a drum
- 31:10Speaker 1: line battle brewing on social media between you and uh
- 31:15Speaker 1: or Orlando Jones, who plays doctor James Lee and your
- 31:18Speaker 1: character mister Wade from the World. I was definitely robbed
- 31:24Speaker 1: from the movie. We should have won that hands down.
- 31:26Speaker 1: We had the best band. I mean, buddy, if you
- 31:28Speaker 1: want to do this again, I'm game. I'm ready. I'm
- 31:32Speaker 1: ready to come on. Trash talking going on, Come on,
- 31:35Speaker 1: Doctor Lee. If you want some of this again, you
- 31:37Speaker 1: know we're ready. I just let you know. I'm putting
- 31:40Speaker 1: it out there if if you want something, if that's
- 31:42Speaker 1: what you want to do, if you hey, you feel
- 31:46Speaker 1: froggy jump, come on, what's gonna play? Jack? What's your
- 31:51Speaker 1: band playing? Oh? Man, I can't put my secrets out there, man,
- 31:54Speaker 1: you know, because then the he gonna go out, he's
- 31:56Speaker 1: gonna sheet music all his stuff. But no, no, but
- 32:02Speaker 1: I'm blowing some funcky white stuff that he ain't ready for.
- 32:05Speaker 1: It's gonna be in the movie. Man, y'all. Was Jamie
- 32:09Speaker 1: so hard when he turned around and said hit them
- 32:11Speaker 1: with a little flight of the bubble bee. I got robbed, Yeah,
- 32:21Speaker 1: got out the call. Stay all right, all right, Jay,
- 32:30Speaker 1: it is that time for today's headlines. All right, everybody's
- 32:33Speaker 1: time for the Newsmith and trip. Thank you, thank you
- 32:36Speaker 1: very much. Good morning. A constitutional ritual that most Americans
- 32:39Speaker 1: rarely notice or even care about, takes place today. Five
- 32:42Speaker 1: hundred and thirty eight electors are scheduled to a gather
- 32:45Speaker 1: in states all over the country and the District of
- 32:47Speaker 1: Columbia to cast their Electoral College votes for president and
- 32:51Speaker 1: Joseph R. And Biden is expected to be officially named
- 32:54Speaker 1: the rightful forty six president of the United States, with
- 32:58Speaker 1: Senator come out Kamala Harris as as vice president. Now
- 33:01Speaker 1: attempts by Donald Trump to try and force local GOP
- 33:04Speaker 1: legislators to actually assemble electors who would ignore his massive
- 33:08Speaker 1: loss and claim that he won re election anyway. Those
- 33:11Speaker 1: attempts have failed. Nevertheless, the Donald still refuses to concede.
- 33:16Speaker 1: He insists the election with stolen and claimed that there
- 33:18Speaker 1: is still a legal path available to him to get
- 33:20Speaker 1: the Biden win overturned. So we'll see about that. The
- 33:23Speaker 1: first doses afis the COVID nineteen vaccine being delivered to
- 33:27Speaker 1: every US state today vials of the virus fighting serum
- 33:30Speaker 1: loaded up on ups and FedEx trumps over the weekend
- 33:33Speaker 1: for shipment to hospitals around the country. The FEDS are
- 33:36Speaker 1: coordinating distribution to a number of predetermined sites, and then
- 33:39Speaker 1: local health officials takeover and actually get the shots administered.
- 33:42Speaker 1: There a few problems. Apparently, people need to be trained
- 33:46Speaker 1: on how to properly inoculate folks with this stuff. First
- 33:49Speaker 1: of all, the sirium needs to be kept at ninety
- 33:51Speaker 1: four degrees below freezing, it only lasts a few days
- 33:55Speaker 1: after its thawed, and it has to be diluted before
- 33:58Speaker 1: it's injected. Claire Hannon is the head of the Association
- 34:01Speaker 1: of Immunization Managers. He tells NPR they're definitely facing a
- 34:04Speaker 1: learning curve. We're going to learn so much from the
- 34:07Speaker 1: first hospitals who are vaccinating. You know, what is it
- 34:11Speaker 1: really like to get this box. How long does it
- 34:13Speaker 1: take to mix the vaccine with the diluant, How long
- 34:16Speaker 1: does it take to actually vaccinate someone? And then there
- 34:19Speaker 1: are questions about possible allergic reactions, whether pregnant people or
- 34:23Speaker 1: people with immune disorders should get it or they shouldn't.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Right now, what's being called Phase one A. These centers
- 34:29Speaker 1: of these control has prioritized healthcare workers and residents of
- 34:32Speaker 1: long term care facilities. Worda was that members of Trump's
- 34:36Speaker 1: White House staff are going to be immunized first, but
- 34:38Speaker 1: Trump apparently said he stopped that. Meanwhile, the FDA considering
- 34:42Speaker 1: approval of a second vaccine, this one by Maderna on Thursday,
- 34:46Speaker 1: So hopefully vaccines against the coronavirus should widely be available
- 34:49Speaker 1: by either late spring or the summer of next year. Meanwhile,
- 34:52Speaker 1: believe it or not, according to Fox News, President Trump
- 34:54Speaker 1: is now demanding to know the names of those congressional
- 34:57Speaker 1: Republicans who say they recognize Joe Biden as the winner
- 35:01Speaker 1: of last month's selection. He wants to know who they are,
- 35:05Speaker 1: sad news. Country music's three time Grammy Award winning Charlie
- 35:07Speaker 1: Pride has died of COVID nineteen. Charlie probably the first
- 35:10Speaker 1: black American inductions the Country Music Hall of Fame for
- 35:13Speaker 1: most of his career, as fans didn't even though he
- 35:15Speaker 1: was black. He had hit after hitting listening angela Good Morning.
- 35:20Speaker 1: That was one of his big ones. Charlie Pride was
- 35:22Speaker 1: eighty six. I met him once. He was a semi
- 35:24Speaker 1: pro baseball player and a wonderful gentleman. Now back to
- 35:27Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show. All right, guys,
- 35:33Speaker 1: it is time to look into the crazy mind of
- 35:36Speaker 1: Jay Anthony Brown. Oh lord, well, I'm glad you did that.
- 35:40Speaker 1: I'm glad you're doing that. You are a lot of time.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I have foolishness and craziness, a lot of time. What
- 35:48Speaker 1: you got today? What's in there to day? Something I
- 35:52Speaker 1: have that spirit will put I put together a little
- 35:55Speaker 1: company that's called Sidepiece Helper. Now you won't for a piece,
- 36:00Speaker 1: you won't be able to get in touch with who

- 36:07Speaker 1: with side Piece Helpers like you can call and get

- 36:14Speaker 1: because you call a friend. They're gonna judge you. What
- 36:16Speaker 1: I told you, We're not doing that at Side Piece Helper.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Side Piece Helper is helping side pieces get through the holidays.
- 36:23Speaker 1: They're listening, they're quiet, they got good advice. Tommy knows
- 36:28Speaker 1: about it. I mean you we talked about putting them together.
- 36:30Speaker 1: And so Timmy, what what you got now? Well, I mean,
- 36:33Speaker 1: you know, they help us and we all help us,
- 36:36Speaker 1: you know what I mean. We're gonna try to do
- 36:37Speaker 1: what we can to get the message to your love

- 36:43Speaker 1: if you watch the movie Harriet, go in your backyard
- 36:46Speaker 1: and start singing it, and then the people next to
- 36:49Speaker 1: start singing, and soon or later they're the message. We
- 36:51Speaker 1: get wade out on the way to the person that
- 36:53Speaker 1: you wanted to get away, you understand, get a message
- 36:56Speaker 1: to the one you loved. Let them know beca as
- 37:00Speaker 1: I know these are with everything in us, you know,
- 37:07Speaker 1: you guys. One thing about this show. We're always helping people.

- 37:23Speaker 1: this is this is this is ball up in a
- 37:25Speaker 1: knot time. This is time you ball up in a night.
- 37:28Speaker 1: You didn't you didn't tell j about the side piece
- 37:30Speaker 1: helper mobile app. You didn't tell them, Yes, go to
- 37:34Speaker 1: the app. Yeah, Like, if you need like a side
- 37:38Speaker 1: piece on Christmas, you can't get it to it, we
- 37:40Speaker 1: will take a plate to her from your house and
- 37:44Speaker 1: we take the plate to her and we put you know,
- 37:46Speaker 1: her gift, we transport that, you know, whatever it is.
- 37:49Speaker 1: And know what we got. You know what else we got?
- 37:53Speaker 1: We got side piece Hamburger. Help them. You see, that's
- 37:59Speaker 1: the for them to have, you know, because they can't
- 38:02Speaker 1: have with everybody else. You see what I'm saying. Now
- 38:05Speaker 1: you're thinking, huh, do the app and get that harmony?
- 38:13Speaker 1: Who told her how good your wife cooking is? Well,
- 38:16Speaker 1: now she can taste it? I hate all right, Come,
- 38:24Speaker 1: I have a thirty four minutes after the hour, we're
- 38:26Speaker 1: gonna talk about holiday breakups. This kind of all goes
- 38:28Speaker 1: together right after this. Oh no, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're
- 38:33Speaker 1: listening show. Well, the second largest peak of breakup season
- 38:40Speaker 1: is here, that's right. Relationship experts say the largest peak
- 38:43Speaker 1: it's during the spring, a month or so after Valentine Today. Anyway,
- 38:48Speaker 1: white breakup now? Is it to avoid meeting the family?
- 38:52Speaker 1: Or is it time for a refresh start, for a
- 38:54Speaker 1: fresh start? Uh? Yeah, because of the new year. So
- 38:58Speaker 1: I gotta ask the guys, when is the best time,
- 39:01Speaker 1: When is the best time to end a relationship? And
- 39:04Speaker 1: what advice do you have for anyone going through a breakup?
- 39:07Speaker 1: Right now, I'll go, I'll go. You If you had
- 39:12Speaker 1: been planning to break up and you ain't broke up
- 39:15Speaker 1: now by now, you're a damn fool. You just straight
- 39:19Speaker 1: because you missed your window of opportunity to break up.
- 39:23Speaker 1: It's too close to Christmas. Let me have it, not
- 39:25Speaker 1: to act the fool. Go ahead, man, you're gonna. If
- 39:28Speaker 1: you're gonna break up, you should have broke up by October,
- 39:32Speaker 1: right Halloween. You should have been You should have. Matter
- 39:35Speaker 1: of fact, you should have scared the hell out of
- 39:37Speaker 1: her Halloween when you know you shot right around me.
- 39:40Speaker 1: And then you you don't go through Thanksgiving and Christmas
- 39:43Speaker 1: by yourself. But because I'm telling you, if you don't
- 39:45Speaker 1: have the money, you should know it by October. You
- 39:48Speaker 1: know you ain't got love, money for gifts and all
- 39:50Speaker 1: this kind of go ahead, Julian. And if you knew
- 39:52Speaker 1: you was gonna break up with huh, then you should have.
- 39:55Speaker 1: You should have really did it by back to school,
- 39:57Speaker 1: because yeah, because you already knew you didn't want to
- 40:01Speaker 1: be with us. So after you about the school closed,
- 40:03Speaker 1: then you get out that when you leave on a
- 40:05Speaker 1: good note, that's how you that's what you do, and
- 40:08Speaker 1: what happens when you break up at this time, when
- 40:11Speaker 1: you bring them und we got days before Christmas. I
- 40:14Speaker 1: don't know what you expect to have stupidity at your
- 40:18Speaker 1: front door, okay? And if you're not ready for that,
- 40:21Speaker 1: to have craziness at your front door, you should have
- 40:25Speaker 1: broke up a long time ago. So breaking up now
- 40:27Speaker 1: brings all that. Your cog gonna be messed up. It's
- 40:33Speaker 1: gonna get ugly. You waited, you you veteran, You're getting
- 40:38Speaker 1: veteran time. But listen, but listen if you said today's
- 40:42Speaker 1: December fourteen, eleven days before Christmas? Right now, y'all? Oh,
- 40:47Speaker 1: you can pull it off calling it off, but it's
- 40:51Speaker 1: gonna be a rough one though. This was This is
- 40:53Speaker 1: gonna be a major argument because she has locked in.
- 40:57Speaker 1: That's yeah, I don't care, bring up with me, but
- 41:01Speaker 1: have me again. It's hard, it is and let them days.
- 41:06Speaker 1: It's hard to get people. You're gonna have to get
- 41:08Speaker 1: like to break up now, you pretty much gotta get

- 54:59Speaker 1: my wife and said goodbye. I texted my wife and
- 55:04Speaker 1: said goodbye. In case you didn't hear me, Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 55:08Speaker 1: I'm a fifty four year old married man and I
- 55:10Speaker 1: had an affair with a twenty seven year old female.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I texted my wife of seventeen years to tell her
- 55:17Speaker 1: that I've met a younger woman and fell in love
- 55:19Speaker 1: with her. I let my eighty percent happiness go for
- 55:22Speaker 1: a woman that only provides twenty percent of the love
- 55:25Speaker 1: and happiness I need. I have a five month old
- 55:28Speaker 1: daughter with the younger woman that I'm seeing. She already
- 55:32Speaker 1: had four children, and I help her with the other
- 55:34Speaker 1: kids too. When I told my wife goodbye through text message,
- 55:38Speaker 1: I told her that I had to be the father
- 55:40Speaker 1: be a father to my new baby. I was tired
- 55:42Speaker 1: of being with my wife and hearing the same nagging
- 55:45Speaker 1: all of the time, with the same sorry sex and
- 55:47Speaker 1: bad cooking. I didn't feel like she deserved an explanation,
- 55:51Speaker 1: so I did it by text message. I'd been telling
- 55:54Speaker 1: her that we needed to work on our marriage, but
- 55:56Speaker 1: it didn't seem to matter to her, so it felt
- 55:58Speaker 1: good at first to be with the young woman that
- 56:00Speaker 1: can really cook and who's amazing in bed. I don't
- 56:03Speaker 1: know if I made a big mistake at all, but
- 56:06Speaker 1: I'm wondering if I'll regret my decision when I get older.
- 56:09Speaker 1: The younger woman asked if I was planning to get
- 56:12Speaker 1: a divorce anytime soon, and I told her I didn't
- 56:14Speaker 1: need that pressure right now. We should just enjoy what
- 56:17Speaker 1: we have and raise our child together. I don't plan
- 56:20Speaker 1: to ever divorce my wife. We have made up and
- 56:24Speaker 1: I apologize for the way I broke it off with her,
- 56:27Speaker 1: and i'd let her meet my new baby. I feel
- 56:29Speaker 1: better since I know my wife doesn't hate me. Do
- 56:32Speaker 1: you think I should go back home and keep my
- 56:34Speaker 1: younger woman on the side since my wife has approved everything,
- 56:37Speaker 1: or do you think there will be drama in the
- 56:39Speaker 1: long run? I think you're stupid. Okay, that's what I think. Hello. Yeah,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you loved to out quite a bit in this letter.
- 56:50Speaker 1: But one thing is for Yeah, one thing is for sure.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Your wife doesn't want you either. Okay, she doesn't want you.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Nowhere in this letter did you say wife. He asked
- 57:01Speaker 1: you to come back nowhere? And why should you? Why
- 57:04Speaker 1: should she? You texted her after seventeen years of marriage.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Seventeen years you've been married to this woman, and all
- 57:13Speaker 1: she deserved was a text message from you because you
- 57:15Speaker 1: didn't think she deserved better. Well, I think you're wrong
- 57:19Speaker 1: for that, and maybe maybe you, maybe you, sir, were
- 57:24Speaker 1: the one with the bad sex. How about that? Because
- 57:26Speaker 1: she's not picking up the phone asking you to come
- 57:28Speaker 1: back now, is she? I think people treat their dogs
- 57:31Speaker 1: better than you treated your wife. But now you're really
- 57:35Speaker 1: catching it, aren't you? Five kids now, pressure to get
- 57:39Speaker 1: a divorce, worry stress, You're already fifty four, you said,
- 57:43Speaker 1: will this be your problem when you get older? I
- 57:45Speaker 1: bet you're getting older fast. You've heard the saying you
- 57:48Speaker 1: reap with your soul and the grass always is greener
- 57:50Speaker 1: on the other side, etc. Etc. But you blew it.
- 57:53Speaker 1: You left crazy, You really left really crazy. How you
- 57:57Speaker 1: did that to your wife? So now your life is crazy? Um?
- 58:01Speaker 1: Will there be more drama? You ask? Oh, I'm sure
- 58:03Speaker 1: of it. A wife, five kids, a side piece, baby mama,
- 58:09Speaker 1: never divorcing. You're fifty four, she's twenty seven. Yep. The
- 58:12Speaker 1: drama has just begun for you, and we do not
- 58:15Speaker 1: feel sorry for you because of how you did your
- 58:18Speaker 1: wife of seventeen years. And again I'll say it again,
- 58:22Speaker 1: she doesn't want you back. She doesn't want you Jake. Okay,
- 58:28Speaker 1: h Normally I don't. Normally I disagree with everything Shirley said.
- 58:32Speaker 1: But on listening right here, dude, dude, dude, happiness and
- 58:39Speaker 1: five kids don't go together. It just do not. There's
- 58:45Speaker 1: no way, there's no way you can make this happiness. Okay,
- 58:49Speaker 1: five kids, four me ain't Joel, and they ain't gonna
- 58:53Speaker 1: listen to a damn thing you say. Not one damn
- 58:57Speaker 1: thing you say. Today ain't day. And you old and
- 59:01Speaker 1: your your blood press. You're gonna be high. You'll be
- 59:04Speaker 1: tired of chasing them, and you're gonna be out of

- 59:19Speaker 1: mirror so you can look at a damn fool. You
- 59:22Speaker 1: need to see what one look like. Get up from
- 59:24Speaker 1: wherever you are and go look in the mirror. I'm
- 59:29Speaker 1: talking to the man in the mirror. Five kids and
- 59:33Speaker 1: happiness do not. There's no way you can move that
- 59:37Speaker 1: around and make it happy. Thank you, Jake. We'll have
- 59:40Speaker 1: part two of the Strawberry Letter coming up at twenty
- 59:43Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. I texted my wife and
- 59:45Speaker 1: said goodbye. Right after this, you're listening to show. All right,
- 59:51Speaker 1: we're gonna recap today's Strawberry Letter. The subject is I
- 59:55Speaker 1: texted my wife and said goodbye. A fifty four year
- 59:58Speaker 1: old married man had an affair with a twenty seven
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: year old female. He's been married for seventeen years. He
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: texted his wife to say he found a younger woman
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and he had a baby with her, and he's leaving. Okay, yeah,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the woman, the twenty seven year old woman that he's with,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: already had four kids, so that makes a total of five.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: He told his wife in the text that he wanted
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: to be a father to the new baby. He's taking
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: care of the new baby and her four other children.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: The young woman wants to know when is he going
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: to get a divorce and leave his wife. He says
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: he is never leaving his wife. He wants to know
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: if this was the right decision and will he regret
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: it when he gets older. He said his wife was
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: constantly nagging. She had bad sex and bad cooking. But
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: this woman has good sex and amazing sex and great cooking,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: and she's starting to nag him now about getting married,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: getting a divorce and everything. He says he feels better
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: now that he's made up with his wife, and he's
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: asking do we think that he should go back home?
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: And he's glad that his wife doesn't hate him, and
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: do you think there will be more drama in his
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: life in the long run? What do you have to say,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Junior Shirlette, This is stupid. This, This is nothing else
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: to say. I ain't even married, and no, this is stupid.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: The question is do you think I should go back
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: home and keep my younger woman on the side since
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: my wife has approved everything? You, sir, have a problem
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: with titles and numbers. This is Joe problem. Because look,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: if you think you're asking us, do you as you
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: go home to your wife or younger woman? Wife? God,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: younger woman? Seeing this is this is what you can't think?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: It is brought out and it's always greater than twenty
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: I don't even so why are we even talking to
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: your stupid ass? This is simple to me. He has
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: a problem with titles and numbers, titles and enough, but
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: he choose the wrong one every single time. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I'll tell you what do what you think is best
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: for your life? Did he did? Do what you think?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: We're not going to help you. We don't even got
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: these problems. The people on this show that's married stay married,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: ebody at that time. If it is shut about, no
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: sad pieces. Don't have a problem with TODs making attend
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: you coming home? What is you asking us? Fun? Thank
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: you j single junior. Okay, all right, come on, nephew,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: thank you junior. Nephew. What you got? I send my
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: wife and said goodbye. You know, when you this stupid,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you got to keep on coming from stupid. You got
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to keep being stupid. You can't stop now. Okay, okay,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: you can't say when you're in the middle of stupid,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you can't stop and try to wise up. You ain't
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: gonna fix it. So listen, you got to file a
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: stupid all the way out. This is what you should do.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Put everybody, everybody, boy, kids, new baby, girlfriend, wife in you.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Everybody now needs to live under one rule. It just

- 1:03:22Speaker 1: We canna get through. Okay, guess what. Guess what? What's
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the young girl doing. She knows how to cook right,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: She makes love good. The wife is not good at
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: neither one of those. She can help her. You see
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If I can tell friends, sometimes you
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: gotta learn what you don't know. Now, literally, the young
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: girl know how to cook, and them and a woman

- 1:03:50Speaker 1: you don't really know that. But when a young girl
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: moving in, you're gonna figure out what she's been doing
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: in there, because she's been doing something right, you see. Yeah,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: she got five kids? What she got five kids? She

- 1:04:53Speaker 1: wife doesn't want him. You'll go look at it this.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: She ain't got the cook all the time. Now, yeah,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you can learn watch the watch the young girl when
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: she cooking, just sitting in the kitchen and talk to
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: him and figure out what's going on. Learning how to cook?

- 1:09:14Speaker 1: saw yesterday the first cases of COVID nineteen vaccines are
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: being shipped across the country. The vaccines were placed into
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: freezers and loaded onto trucks. We have to give a
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: big shout out and a big thank you to all
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: of the truck drivers that includes the UPS and FedEx
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: and everyone working in the big warehouses and the airports,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: et cetera, for all of their hard work. This is
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: hard work right here. How cold? How cold is this
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: kill that? Yeah? Yeah, it's called yeah really really cold?
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Yeah nine normal cold. Yeah, there is no room for

- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Offset said he is not going to take COVID nineteen
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the vaccine, he says, Um, it just boils down to
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: trust and fairness, which is a lot of people's issue,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: especially in the African American community. There's a lot of
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: mistrust going on. Um, you know, a lot of mistrust.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: This is also the reason, if you've noticed, doctor Fauci
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: has really been putting it out there and making a
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: point to remind us that the COVID nineteen vaccine was
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: developed in part by a black woman. Her name is
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: doctor k Corbett. Um, you know, she had a lot
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: to do with it. So yeah, you know, yeah, it
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: really is good news and maybe it'll put some people
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: who are skeptical at ease. You know, I got a
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: big I gotta fix for us. Yeah, well, how to
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: make sure everybody get the virus? Virus are the vaccine,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I mean the vaccine, the vaccine, vaccine. Make sure everybody
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: gets the vaccine. Here's what we do. Oh really, okay,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: what we're gonna get a group of people at one time.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: What we're gonna do is we're gonna put it in chicken.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: You know what, chicken. Don't tell him it's in there,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: but there, you know what I mean that you got it.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: We're gonna put it in. We're gonna put it in
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the coffee. When you don't drive through this spot you
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: go through, put it in there. This's gonna get everybody
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: right here. We're gonna put it in. We're gonna put

- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I ain't take it. You took it already, Chicken, chicken.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: You don't want to put a little bit in the
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: toothpaste to j oh, yeah, I know. We can put
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: something and just get everybody. Put something right across the
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: little edge and put some in lace fronts and you man, Yeah,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: that will get everything right. It's black white everyone the
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: top of a scene. That's the scene. What about what
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: about patty pass? Yeah. Health experts are warning that it's
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: likely the US won't see any meaningful impact from the
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: vaccinations until well into next year. So keep that in
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: mind as well. Wait a minute, what put it in
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: the crown role? Put it in the crown role? Okay,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: every time there's every time there's a nice game, it

- 1:19:28Speaker 1: big job they have to do, and if we just
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: go and vote and do our part, they can do
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: it effectively. Okay, So please sit do that again again.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. And before we get out of here, Yeah,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: we did want to mention the passing of country music
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: great Charlie Pride passed away of COVID nineteen over the
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: weekend as well. He was eighty six. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: A lot of people do don't know him, but I
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: mean he was like legend, I mean true legend. You know,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: he was a black man who did yeah country music,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: uh huh and inducted into the Country Music Hall day. Yes,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: so he is true legend, true right. They don't talk
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: about him a lot now, but Dolly Pardon he was
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: one of her favorites. Yeah, yeah, I love Dolly Pardon.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: She's the realist man. Yeah, she said that was really cool.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: She said a lot of people call me dumb, blind
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: and doesn't bother me. Because I'm neither one, right, I'm
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: not dumb or blind, right yeah yeah, and I always
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: love you is not stupid at all. That's right, that's right,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: that's right. So our condolence is going out to Charlie
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Pride and his family of course. Um, and you know, wow,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: twenty twenty, what a year? What a year? You know
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: what I saw? I saw something this past weekend that said, um,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: your biggest Christmas gift for twenty twenty is the people
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: that you have left on this earth. That's the biggest
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: present because we've lost so many people you know. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I have three family members that are dealing with COVID
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: right now. They just got it, like a couple of
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: days ago, they just found out they had it. So yeah, wow,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: my prayers and going out that happened to us, that
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: happened is where you don't know anybody that that happened to.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: But with COVID, we all know somebody, all know somebody
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: with it. We lost some one that we knew. Yeah,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: so many people around us. Yeah. But in spite also
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: reading that, UM, for New Year's resolutions, you know how everybody,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: you know, we always do these resolutions and I've been
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: reading for twenty twenty one, a lot of people said
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: they're going to focus on self care and mental health
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: and wealthy and really focus on your health because you know,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: like we were saying, twenty twenty has been such a year.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Usually at the end of the year, any year, we
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: always hear about a lot of people passing away. Thinking back,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: you always kind to hear about it the end of
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the year. But this year it was from beginning yea, yeah,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: and then the pandemic with COVID and all that, exactly,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: surely exactly, so it has been a lot. But we
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: have to, like you said, be grateful time. Yeah, and
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: thank god we're still here, you know, and we're you know,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: we're going to you know, try to have a great Christmas,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: as great as it can be, you know, um and
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: and all of that. Yeah, if you can't be at home,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: zoom with your family and your friends and stuff, you got.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: I think you guys have your trees up right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: the Christmas. Yeah, I'm in the spirit, you know, I'm
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: trying to be right at the same time trying to
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: be safe, you know, the whole I'm still paranoid, yeah, rightfully,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: so you know, and get out before you before you
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: have zoom. Can you have zoom rehearsal, Just have zoom rehearsal,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: how to get on and all of that with the
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: family members. Yeah, you get on the day before and
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: say something with that the real quick dream. Let me
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: say this though, my mother law, so for Thanksgiving we
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: did that and my mother law it says, host won't
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: let me in, Let me in, let me, you don't wait,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: let me let me? Who was the host? I was? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: my mother law. They can't like sometimes you just can't
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: get in. You get right. I'm gonna ask my family
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: dude this year for the zoom for Christmas, if you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: have more than three children, don't jump on. We don't
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: want you because you can't participate in the conversation because
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: every time you be talking. Yeah, it's good to see it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Sit down. Sit yeah, yeah, you know. Just Christmas, we
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: so hold on Latians sit get off. Okay, you can't
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: be on. Yeah, you can't be on the zoo because
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: you can't participate. Just raise the children. You need the
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: kids to help you get on zoom. Though you do,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: it might be and it also might be wise to
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: clean up the room before you zoom. Man, and you're right,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: and let the other people in other members of your
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: family know that you're on so they won't be in
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: the camera naked and all of that. You know. Yeah,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I'm yeah, that happened, not to people, I know, so
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you're heard. I read a lot, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: but yeah, but I mean there's still a lot, you know,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: to be thankful for, like we said, a lot, a
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: lot of hope, you know, for the White House. We
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: have a new president, we have a new vice president,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: you know, a new cabinet. Yeah, so you know, we
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: have a lot of hopeful things going on, and we
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: want to thank you everyone for listening. For all Steve
