- 0:18Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stubbings, not me through good
- 0:23Speaker 1: it sEH together for ste Please, I don't join jo.
- 1:01Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Turn you got to turn them out. Then turn the
- 1:49Speaker 1: water the water got Come come on, I show will
- 2:06Speaker 1: good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:11Speaker 1: deeed me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:13Speaker 1: radio show, I said every day because God been good
- 2:17Speaker 1: to me. God has done some things in my life
- 2:19Speaker 1: that's truly been just amazing. It really amazing. Ain't even
- 2:24Speaker 1: really the word. They don't really have a word for
- 2:26Speaker 1: what He's done for me. I'm just out of superlatives.
- 2:30Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. Steve Harvey got
- 2:32Speaker 1: a radio show because God is in a blessing business.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah it is God. God can help you turn your
- 2:37Speaker 1: life around. Did you hear me? God can help you
- 2:41Speaker 1: turn your life around. Whatever you're going through. God has
- 2:45Speaker 1: an answer for it. See but it's the going through
- 2:48Speaker 1: that gets us though, ain't it? Because I was having
- 2:50Speaker 1: a moment yesterday and I set my wife down. I said, baby,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I just need to talk to you, going through a
- 2:55Speaker 1: little bit right now. I just wanted to share what
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm a little down right now. My wife reminded me.
- 3:02Speaker 1: She just reminded me, just see this what a man.
- 3:05Speaker 1: That's what a good mate does. A good mate reminds
- 3:09Speaker 1: you just of things that sometimes you forget when you
- 3:13Speaker 1: get off track. Because you know, I consider myself a
- 3:18Speaker 1: motivational type person. I try to listen to people and
- 3:22Speaker 1: then give them something I've learned along the way on
- 3:24Speaker 1: this journey I've been on. I try to give a
- 3:26Speaker 1: person a takeaway. But even being that person, sometimes I
- 3:30Speaker 1: get off track myself. I get a little love, a
- 3:34Speaker 1: little low. Sometimes, you know, I get a little down.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Sometimes I sometimes I forget some of the stuff I say.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And it ain't that I forget it. I guess I
- 3:43Speaker 1: just get caught up in the grind of doing it.
- 3:47Speaker 1: And sometimes I get a little off course and I
- 3:50Speaker 1: forget some of the things that my wife or a
- 3:54Speaker 1: mate can be good for you to remind you. And
- 3:57Speaker 1: she just says, Steve, God got us. She said, have
- 4:02Speaker 1: you ever noticed that every time you get in a spot?
- 4:05Speaker 1: And she say and I know how you must feel,
- 4:07Speaker 1: because you out here working, and and then you keep
- 4:10Speaker 1: turning around and and and and old stuff keep popping up,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and you get a call from your accounting and hit us.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Then went wrong, and not then when you steady trying
- 4:19Speaker 1: to fix it, but you steady going wild? Man, what
- 4:22Speaker 1: does this she say? But you ever notice he always always,
- 4:27Speaker 1: no matter what, provide a way. And he ain't ever
- 4:30Speaker 1: too late. Oh, you might be going the deadline is approaching.
- 4:34Speaker 1: The deadline can come and pass, but then they have
- 4:37Speaker 1: a grace period for you. And then sometimes man, it's
- 4:41Speaker 1: just you go down now after the grace period and
- 4:43Speaker 1: they take the payment anywhere and you're good anyway. But see,
- 4:46Speaker 1: ain't that God bringing you through it. It may not
- 4:49Speaker 1: be when you want it, but he right on time.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Jazz before you get put out, jazz before they turned
- 4:56Speaker 1: maybe they cut the lights off, but you get it
- 4:57Speaker 1: back on. Jess Folk company, come or just before the weekend.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Get here. See he always comes through for you. And
- 5:06Speaker 1: she had to remind me of that. What you're going
- 5:09Speaker 1: through is necessary. Look, circumstance and hardships and pitfalls are
- 5:14Speaker 1: always untimely. If you keep the law of attraction in play.
- 5:19Speaker 1: If you keep believing that that's what that He gonna
- 5:22Speaker 1: see you through this just like he do when you
- 5:24Speaker 1: don't believe it. That's what the old part is though,
- 5:28Speaker 1: ain't it. Ain't God brought you through even when you
- 5:31Speaker 1: didn't really had a faith to say he was gonna
- 5:34Speaker 1: bring you through. But because of grace and mercy he
- 5:37Speaker 1: brought you through anyway. But because you forgot to thank him,
- 5:42Speaker 1: or you didn't pay attention through to come through, you
- 5:44Speaker 1: just was telling people, oh, man, of you to see
- 5:47Speaker 1: me. It It was so jacked up. Man, I was so
- 5:49Speaker 1: turned up. I ain't know what I was donna do.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I almost got put out. I was gonna see key
- 5:54Speaker 1: word almost. You forgot that part right there. And then
- 5:57Speaker 1: then I was it look like I wont man and that,
- 6:00Speaker 1: and seem like every month I go through this same thing.
- 6:03Speaker 1: And then yeah, yeah, then somebody ought to just say
- 6:06Speaker 1: did you pay it? Yeah? I paid it? Did you
- 6:08Speaker 1: get put out? Now? I'm cool? See some see you
- 6:10Speaker 1: need somebody on your shoulder to say that to you,
- 6:13Speaker 1: and then you need somebody to come right behind him
- 6:16Speaker 1: and go, man, ain't God good? Really? Man? That's how
- 6:20Speaker 1: this works. See you keep getting in situations, but He
- 6:25Speaker 1: keep getting you out. Now if you jump, look, listen
- 6:28Speaker 1: to me. Hold. Oh, let's say you in the frying
- 6:31Speaker 1: pan and the skillet and all is up and you
- 6:34Speaker 1: and that frying and you uncomfortable being fried God somehow.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Or let's just say you managed to get out of
- 6:43Speaker 1: the hot grease in the frying pan, and you standing
- 6:46Speaker 1: that next to the skillet looking at the fire, continue
- 6:49Speaker 1: to heat the grease, you get out, and then for
- 6:53Speaker 1: some unexplainable reason, you dives right on back in there.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Ain't that how we use do it? I'm just asking you, God,
- 7:03Speaker 1: get you away from the man you've been asking to
- 7:05Speaker 1: get away from. Then you go right back over there
- 7:08Speaker 1: and start seeing him again. It's amazing how many times
- 7:13Speaker 1: God get us out the fire and we walks right
- 7:16Speaker 1: back in there. Ain't it amazing? Man? I mean, really, man,
- 7:20Speaker 1: see this high break life down for me so I
- 7:24Speaker 1: don't get over here stuck on, stupid with myself and
- 7:26Speaker 1: then get to doing something ignorant like blaming God when really, man,
- 7:30Speaker 1: God has given us, as human beings, the power of decision,
- 7:33Speaker 1: and we all make decisions. How many times? Man? See?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Sometimes it's a blessing and getting locked up. You can
- 7:39Speaker 1: ask a lot of cats I know, man to tell
- 7:41Speaker 1: you it was a blessing for me, man, because I
- 7:43Speaker 1: was just headed the wrong way, steady, but he locked
- 7:46Speaker 1: me up. Setting me down made me miss my family,
- 7:50Speaker 1: miss being out here being a free man, made me
- 7:53Speaker 1: realize that my family was important. Made me. Man, really
- 7:56Speaker 1: see this girl for what she was. When I get out, man,
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm on straight and narrow. Well then when you get out, though,
- 8:03Speaker 1: See you can't be talking about no. Oh man, I
- 8:06Speaker 1: can't find no job. Now I'm gonna go and do
- 8:08Speaker 1: what I gotta do. No, no no, no, no, no, partner,
- 8:10Speaker 1: you got to do now what you're supposed to do.
- 8:13Speaker 1: See that don't do what you gotta do got you
- 8:15Speaker 1: in trouble in the first place. See everybody, see see
- 8:18Speaker 1: the hood got a lot of ignorant rules. We didn't
- 8:21Speaker 1: create it. I gotta do what I gotta do. I
- 8:22Speaker 1: gotta feed my family. Well, the only reason you gotta
- 8:25Speaker 1: do what you gotta do is because you didn't do
- 8:27Speaker 1: what you were supposed to do. See if you just
- 8:29Speaker 1: went on to school like your mama kept telling you.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Oh man, I was watching forty eight hours yesterday and
- 8:35Speaker 1: the dude named Nesto was on there, and Nesto Latino
- 8:39Speaker 1: Do said, Man, my mother told me quit hanging with
- 8:41Speaker 1: these guys. They were going nothing but trouble. I should
- 8:45Speaker 1: have listened to her. He doing thirty years right now.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You can't blame God. That's why I talk to myself
- 8:52Speaker 1: this way, so I don't get stupid and start shifting
- 8:55Speaker 1: to blame the wrong way when it's really on me.
- 8:57Speaker 1: How many times has God got you out or something
- 9:00Speaker 1: and you walk right back into it? Man, why don't
- 9:03Speaker 1: you take these blessings God give you and going about
- 9:06Speaker 1: your business? That be the best way to do it.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Don't you think that's what I think? So I thank
- 9:13Speaker 1: God my wife for reminding me that God got us anyway,
- 9:17Speaker 1: that God gonna pull you through anyway. That. Have you noticed, Steve,
- 9:21Speaker 1: we ain't lost a beat. Oh. I know it's hard
- 9:24Speaker 1: out here, but really you ain't lost a beat. You're
- 9:27Speaker 1: still moving forward, you still dressing nice, you still look
- 9:31Speaker 1: good when you come into that job. Everybody don't got
- 9:34Speaker 1: to know your house is in bad shaping. All that
- 9:37Speaker 1: God got you, man, If you just hold your head up, man,
- 9:41Speaker 1: quit complaining all the time about what you ain't got,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and as in words of my daddy, Slick Harvey, stop
- 9:47Speaker 1: talking about what you ain't got and take a good
- 9:49Speaker 1: look at what you do. God, that's improper grammar, but
- 9:52Speaker 1: that always stuck with me, and maybe it'll stick with you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Quit talking about and look at at what you ain't got,
- 9:57Speaker 1: to take a good look at what you do. God show,
- 10:04Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, it is upon us. It is the
- 10:07Speaker 1: morning hour. It is a moment that we've been waiting
- 10:12Speaker 1: for all night. To be honest with you, I was
- 10:16Speaker 1: hoping I would be here when it arrived. I am here, grateful, motivated, favorite,
- 10:30Speaker 1: and relentless in my pursuit of happiness. Even though the
- 10:35Speaker 1: Constitution is not talking to us. I am in pursuit
- 10:43Speaker 1: of my inalienable right to that pursuit of happiness. Damn it,
- 10:48Speaker 1: here I ain't, Ladies and gentlemen, Shirley's talking. I like it. Steve,
- 10:53Speaker 1: good morning, good morning, and Calibrill, good morning, Happy Friday.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Never mad. That is Junie whatever. Everybody morning, the old
- 11:05Speaker 1: and nearly defeated and very bitter about it. But a survival.
- 11:12Speaker 1: J Anthony Brown, what what whatever? Mister hardad ignorant at
- 11:20Speaker 1: a whole another level phdn mm hmm, nephew, your side,
- 11:27Speaker 1: your side, it's Friday. Whoa it's happening r I t
- 11:36Speaker 1: y it's Friday. Yeah, yeah, it's great. And you don't
- 11:43Speaker 1: like Friday's hy nephew because it's too close to Monty.
- 11:48Speaker 1: That makes a lot of sense. But if you sounded
- 11:51Speaker 1: excited about I get excited to sad to come call
- 11:57Speaker 1: you know what? It's logic right, yeah, man up on Monday. God,
- 12:02Speaker 1: So don't ask your question to me? Are you happy
- 12:08Speaker 1: with what day? Am I happy with? What's your favorite days?
- 12:16Speaker 1: To Thurst? I like thirsty thirst because we almost like
- 12:21Speaker 1: the weekend starts for me actually on Thursday. But yeing sad.
- 12:28Speaker 1: But if you don't like the next day, which is Friday,
- 12:32Speaker 1: because it's too close to Monday. And that's what I'm
- 12:35Speaker 1: trying to piece this together after struggling over here, headache,
- 12:45Speaker 1: this is your nephew, We got to worry about this.
- 12:47Speaker 1: You know what, Thursday is fold days away. Thursday's fold
- 12:55Speaker 1: days away from Monday. Either either way you go towards it,
- 12:58Speaker 1: think about it. Monday is just bad, so Thursday's four
- 13:05Speaker 1: ways away. Either way. You look at it well and
- 13:09Speaker 1: see what you don't want why you saying Thursday and
- 13:14Speaker 1: Friday and using Monday cause you can't say Wednesday. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: say U what I say, Quinn quinsy in time? I
- 13:29Speaker 1: want to say, Quinn, that's not it. All right, listen,
- 13:34Speaker 1: coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:36Speaker 1: do a version of Ask the CLO Chief Love Officer
- 13:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building right after this you're listening
- 13:43Speaker 1: to show. All right, guys, time now for ask the
- 13:48Speaker 1: CLO Chief Love Officer the Cloe Steve Harvey. H this one.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Steve is from Constance in Philly. Constance, right right. I'm
- 13:58Speaker 1: forty two, and I sucently got my breasthts redone because
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm done having children. Whenever I go out now, I
- 14:06Speaker 1: got a few stairs and winks from men and they
- 14:09Speaker 1: look at my breasts and then up at me. I
- 14:12Speaker 1: enjoy the confidence boost. But my husband does not like
- 14:16Speaker 1: my larger breast size. He had no complaints with the
- 14:19Speaker 1: saggy old ones. But I did this for me, not him.
- 14:23Speaker 1: We did discuss the bigger size before I had surgery,
- 14:28Speaker 1: so I wish he'd stopped complaining. How can I get
- 14:30Speaker 1: him to relax and enjoy the new additions to our family. Wow,
- 14:36Speaker 1: excuse me, I have no idea why he's complaining. What
- 14:40Speaker 1: is the complain about it? Because she's getting so much
- 14:42Speaker 1: attention from other men, That's what it is. That's the
- 14:45Speaker 1: problem he got. Well why don't you do Why don't
- 14:47Speaker 1: you out attention to them? See? Ah, you give her
- 14:52Speaker 1: more than the other guys has given her. You win.
- 14:54Speaker 1: See you get to go home with it. They just
- 14:56Speaker 1: get to look at Yeah, look doh. I think it's
- 15:00Speaker 1: created a little bit of insecurity anymore. He gonna have
- 15:02Speaker 1: to get over because you can take him back. But
- 15:05Speaker 1: why would you pay that much money and then have them,
- 15:07Speaker 1: you know, lower? Yeah, I posted to me, let's go
- 15:14Speaker 1: and ride with that. I'm there in new additions to
- 15:18Speaker 1: the family. I love it all right. Moving on, Amala
- 15:22Speaker 1: in Texas says, I'm turning fifty and three months and
- 15:25Speaker 1: my dream is to become a stand up comedian. I
- 15:28Speaker 1: think that ship has sailed, but I do want to
- 15:31Speaker 1: do a short comedy routine at my big birthday party
- 15:34Speaker 1: if I if I suck, it will just be among
- 15:37Speaker 1: my friends and family. If I do a great job.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Should I do the amateur night at my local comedy club.
- 15:43Speaker 1: How bad is the anxiety with a real audience. I
- 15:47Speaker 1: know you're a season pro, so you'll give it to
- 15:50Speaker 1: me straight. Should I try it or not? Your ship
- 15:53Speaker 1: has sailed left port. It's out in trouble waters. It's
- 16:02Speaker 1: gonna sank, dreams torpedoed. This ain't nothing you come try
- 16:09Speaker 1: at fifty. If you had this gift, you to band
- 16:13Speaker 1: discovered this gift right here. I don't know. Why are
- 16:17Speaker 1: you trying to do this on your fiftieth birthday? Have
- 16:20Speaker 1: a birthday party, invite us right see you're not Don't
- 16:24Speaker 1: do this on your at your party party. Don't do
- 16:28Speaker 1: this at your part. This this, this is not for
- 16:32Speaker 1: you dream killers. All of you ain't no dream killer.
- 16:37Speaker 1: It's what we know. I know for a fact, she
- 16:41Speaker 1: ain't got no busses doing this. I ain't have nothing
- 16:44Speaker 1: I can tell her about A damn question and she
- 16:48Speaker 1: come out of anxiety in front of crowd. You ain't
- 16:50Speaker 1: nobody but your family. Yeah, you're scared already. Here are
- 16:56Speaker 1: you gonna do it? Open mic? Oh you're in La.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Go down to the jay spot. You can get a
- 17:04Speaker 1: real opinion. Hid lady discouraging her to live out her
- 17:10Speaker 1: dream to say her dream, get a note, just say
- 17:14Speaker 1: what you do, dream to become a standard. Here we go.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I got motivation. You gotta stop some of this stuff now, Jake. Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 1: And the scariest words in show business. Steve told me
- 17:28Speaker 1: this a long time ago. Is you next? So that's
- 17:31Speaker 1: how I go. That's you'll see You're next, Junior, your next.
- 17:38Speaker 1: The first thing you can say, say she wants some times.
- 17:40Speaker 1: First you can say is that's crazy, hunt. Can you
- 17:45Speaker 1: say that? What does that mean? You die? The first
- 17:53Speaker 1: thing you can say is, uh, we're gonna need fifteen
- 17:57Speaker 1: minutes from and your ass ain't got a phone. Fifteen boy.
- 18:05Speaker 1: We cannot encourage this woman to do this. There is
- 18:09Speaker 1: nothing harder to do. And to get up in front
- 18:13Speaker 1: of a room full of people who don't know you
- 18:16Speaker 1: and try to make all the people laugh. I can't
- 18:19Speaker 1: even tell you what that is. It's even worse with people,
- 18:22Speaker 1: you know, it's even worse with people. Why is that
- 18:29Speaker 1: they know you as just knowing you? You know, you
- 18:32Speaker 1: gotta try this out on people who don't know your ass.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Then when when you bomb, don't nobody know you, but
- 18:37Speaker 1: when when they know your ass? You got to see
- 18:40Speaker 1: these people again and you can't leave. You become a
- 18:45Speaker 1: You become a member that time, remember that time. And
- 18:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right that don't nobody want to
- 18:55Speaker 1: be a member that timember that what you don't want
- 18:59Speaker 1: to be is a member. Well, thanks for the encouragement.
- 19:02Speaker 1: You dream killers, I don't dream You really kill people?
- 19:08Speaker 1: All well, you will kill a person. Let's get that straight.
- 19:17Speaker 1: All right, We're we're trying to save her from adel
- 19:21Speaker 1: Quandra in Quanda in Columbia, South Carolina, Jay says, I
- 19:26Speaker 1: went on a girl's trip recently with my cousin, my bestie,
- 19:29Speaker 1: and my co worker. My co worker requested her own
- 19:31Speaker 1: room because she's not her boyfriend in on the trip,
- 19:34Speaker 1: and uh, I didn't find out till later. I ended
- 19:38Speaker 1: up meeting her boyfriend while I was out getting coffee
- 19:41Speaker 1: one morning at the resort, and we had a great
- 19:43Speaker 1: time talking. He told me he was my co worker's boyfriend,
- 19:47Speaker 1: but he's not really into her anymore. He asked if
- 19:50Speaker 1: we could go out after we got back home. They
- 19:53Speaker 1: aren't married, so is it okay to go out with him? Wow?
- 19:58Speaker 1: You bought as low down his day. Co. Let me
- 20:03Speaker 1: ask you a question, lady, Huh let's just say it
- 20:09Speaker 1: was you on the trip with who you thought was
- 20:11Speaker 1: your boyfriend and he was out getting coffee and ran
- 20:16Speaker 1: up into your co worker. Would you think it's okay
- 20:21Speaker 1: if yo co worker went out with Joe who you
- 20:26Speaker 1: thought was your boyfriend. I don't think answer is hell? Now,
- 20:31Speaker 1: that's right? Hey, really, what do you on a trip?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Phone ring into it? But he would do it though? Yeah? Yeah,
- 20:38Speaker 1: so you don't think he would just do you? Right
- 20:42Speaker 1: with this woman? All right? Thank you Clo for that
- 20:46Speaker 1: great advice. As usual, coming up next it is a
- 20:49Speaker 1: nephew would run that prank back right after this. You're

- 25:35Speaker 1: Now you're using profanity at me. Yo's going to Jamaica. Queen,
- 25:39Speaker 1: listen to me. It was your job to take care
- 25:42Speaker 1: of transportation for us to get from the US Utio

- 25:50Speaker 1: it happened. You were supposed to handle it and then
- 25:53Speaker 1: handle it. Your man said, you guys were going to
- 25:56Speaker 1: Jamaica queens, and that's what I took for now many
- 25:59Speaker 1: he said, I said Jamaica queens. We were very clear,
- 26:02Speaker 1: and I know he was very clear. I'm being very

- 27:36Speaker 1: it up. I've already told you there's nothing about it.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Can you get it through your antyoti head? Did you
- 27:42Speaker 1: just call me eaty? Look? I need you to get
- 27:45Speaker 1: somebody else on this phone. I promise you I'm about
- 27:49Speaker 1: to reach through this phone and snatch you up by

- 27:58Speaker 1: to go? Where did make a mistake? And we look
- 28:00Speaker 1: exactly where we want to go, and you are not
- 28:02Speaker 1: listening to me? To my base, do you understand? Do

- 33:12Speaker 1: Miss Anne trip. Thanks Steve. Good morning everyone, This is
- 33:15Speaker 1: a trip with the news. Well, checks courtesy of President
- 33:18Speaker 1: Biden's child tax credit program have begun hitting bank accounts,
- 33:23Speaker 1: and I think they started hitting them yesterday. Families get
- 33:25Speaker 1: a total of thirty six hundred dollars a year for
- 33:28Speaker 1: every child under the age of six and three thousand
- 33:31Speaker 1: dollars for every youngster between six and seventeen. Mister Biden
- 33:34Speaker 1: says the child tax credit is part of his American
- 33:37Speaker 1: rescue plan. He says that the tax credit is aimed
- 33:39Speaker 1: at reducing child poverty much the way that Social Security
- 33:43Speaker 1: checks take care of the elderly, and he reminds the
- 33:45Speaker 1: Republicans who complain is too expensive, that it is basically
- 33:49Speaker 1: a tax cut like the one they gave for the rich,
- 33:51Speaker 1: but not this time. People this country who need a
- 33:54Speaker 1: tax cut aren't the folks at the top. They've got
- 33:57Speaker 1: plenty of tax cuts. They're doing just fine. But it's
- 33:59Speaker 1: the people on the middle. The folks were a struggling.
- 34:02Speaker 1: We're just looking for a little bit of My dad
- 34:04Speaker 1: would say, a little bit of breeder. Now the money
- 34:07Speaker 1: goes out to families in monthly installments. The President would
- 34:10Speaker 1: like to extend it beyond this year and tax the
- 34:12Speaker 1: super rich to fund it, but of course he has
- 34:15Speaker 1: to get some Republicans to agree with that. On the
- 34:18Speaker 1: assassination last week of Haiti's president, apparently a few of
- 34:21Speaker 1: those men suspected of participating in it received US military training.
- 34:26Speaker 1: So far, eighteen Colombians and two Haitian Americans are in custody.
- 34:30Speaker 1: In Haiti, President jovanal Mois was found dead in his
- 34:33Speaker 1: private residence on July seventh. None of his security team
- 34:37Speaker 1: was killed or even injured. He'd been beaten up and
- 34:40Speaker 1: shot twelve times. A Baltimore police officer has been charged
- 34:44Speaker 1: with murdering his fifteen year old step son. Thirty four
- 34:47Speaker 1: year old Eric Banks charged with second degree murder. Authorities
- 34:50Speaker 1: say they discovered the body of Dayshawn Jones stuffed in
- 34:53Speaker 1: a crawl space and officer Banks his home after his
- 34:56Speaker 1: mother called the police saying that she couldn't contact him
- 34:59Speaker 1: and as he thought her husband was holding her son
- 35:01Speaker 1: against his will. Doctor Cornell West, one of the nation's
- 35:05Speaker 1: most well renown and will regardess scholars, has quit Harvard
- 35:08Speaker 1: over its denying him tenure. You may remember a little
- 35:10Speaker 1: over a week ago another African American scholar, pull surprise
- 35:13Speaker 1: winning journalist and coole Hannah Jones, refused tenure at her
- 35:16Speaker 1: Alma Mata UNC. After demonstrations Zoe and a lot of
- 35:19Speaker 1: bad press, the school relented and offered her tenure, but
- 35:22Speaker 1: by then she was done. She said, forget about it.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I'm going to Howard University, they offered her okay a
- 35:27Speaker 1: wonderful tenure. Finally, as a pandemic continues to affect nearly everything,
- 35:30Speaker 1: at the upcoming Olympic Games in Japan this year, the
- 35:33Speaker 1: winners are going to put their own gold, silver, and
- 35:35Speaker 1: bronze medals around their own necks with safety's sake, and
- 35:38Speaker 1: by then take Team USA by the way, wearing white
- 35:40Speaker 1: Route La Rafflin jackets with a battery powered device in
- 35:44Speaker 1: this neck kind of air conditioning the back of the neck,
- 35:46Speaker 1: making the whole body feel real cool. Well, I need
- 35:51Speaker 1: one those jackets. Back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:54Speaker 1: You're listening to show. All right, guys, time now to
- 35:59Speaker 1: look at the mind of Jay Anthony Brown, Columbia, South Carolina.

- 36:09Speaker 1: comedy blowout show. Check that out and July out of
- 36:12Speaker 1: the thirty first, Saint Petersburg, Your boys coming, y'all. I
- 36:16Speaker 1: will be there right now. It's time for smoke thoughts.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Hit it, smoke thoughts, smoke thunts. You know, it's impossible
- 36:29Speaker 1: for you to be about that thug life with a
- 36:32Speaker 1: dry sheet stuff to your jeans. It's impossible. Smoke been there.
- 36:39Speaker 1: You don't look together. These are smoke dogs, smoke thunts, man,
- 36:47Speaker 1: smoke thoughts. You need to worry because everything is not
- 36:51Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Smoke thoughts coming out. Have you
- 36:59Speaker 1: ever noticed? Have you ever noticed you never run out
- 37:02Speaker 1: of catchup and mustard at the same time. That's you
- 37:07Speaker 1: make two damn trips. I know what them two. This
- 37:10Speaker 1: is smoke that smoke smoking smoking. No matter how hot
- 37:19Speaker 1: it is outside, no matter how hot it is outside,
- 37:24Speaker 1: you will always see somebody with a long leather coat on.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Smoke thoughts coming at you. Smoke late late, late that
- 37:39Speaker 1: night when nothing else is open. Yashts and hot dogs
- 37:45Speaker 1: are real. Damn good. I don't care what nobody calls.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Yes they are. It's religious in the world, the real.
- 38:00Speaker 1: If you see a baby in a baby stroller with
- 38:04Speaker 1: his legs crossed, his ass can walk. Okay, that's all
- 38:08Speaker 1: I'm saying. Smoke thus man, smoke thoughts coming. Actually, these
- 38:18Speaker 1: are smoke thoughts. Last, but not least, it comes a time.
- 38:24Speaker 1: That comes a time and everybody's life. When you're home alone,
- 38:30Speaker 1: you can see that roller tilet paper, but you can't
- 38:34Speaker 1: reach it. These are smoke thoughts brought human by yours truly,
- 38:38Speaker 1: Jane Anthony Brown. Smoke thoughts. Smoke Jay, What are you
- 38:51Speaker 1: doing when you come up with you? I'm drinking wine?
- 38:58Speaker 1: All right? Thanks Jay? Coming up at thirty four minutes
- 39:01Speaker 1: after the hour. Here's a question for you. What is
- 39:04Speaker 1: up with these Karen's They are really getting worse. We'll
- 39:09Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening to the
- 39:12Speaker 1: Stave Morning Show. All right, So here's a question, and
- 39:18Speaker 1: I'm sure that's on the top of a lot of
- 39:20Speaker 1: people's minds, especially black people. What is up with these
- 39:24Speaker 1: angry racist people? Okay, Victoria's Secret Karen. Everyone has seen her.
- 39:30Speaker 1: She's gone viral. Her real name is Abigail Elphick. She
- 39:34Speaker 1: had a mental meltdown. Pen is supposed to be fun.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I don't understand what the syn't know? After her? You know,
- 39:44Speaker 1: she had this just rude, violent, racist meltdown in Victoria's Secrets.
- 39:51Speaker 1: And she went after this black woman that was holding
- 39:54Speaker 1: a camera holding a phone filming her and it was
- 39:57Speaker 1: recorded on the cell phone. And she got rate because
- 40:00Speaker 1: she was being recorded, started screaming and acting crazy and
- 40:04Speaker 1: calling the police. I mean, she was just crazy, all right.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Then there's another one, Hair salon. Karen tried to hit
- 40:11Speaker 1: the hairdresser with half a die job on her hair. Uh,
- 40:15Speaker 1: and the hairdresser her but a noise and you got
- 40:20Speaker 1: die please finish pleas, No, you're done, all right? Then
- 40:32Speaker 1: bleach then Latina, Karen. You saw this when she accused
- 40:37Speaker 1: a black man of stealing her son's phone. But it
- 40:40Speaker 1: turned out that that her son left the phone in
- 40:43Speaker 1: the car. So you would think she would tell the
- 40:45Speaker 1: black man, I'm sorry, you know, blah blah blah. Nope,
- 40:48Speaker 1: Instead she told him to go f himself. Victoria's secret, Karen.
- 40:52Speaker 1: If that had been a black woman doing what she
- 40:56Speaker 1: did in that store, throwing a tantrum and having a
- 40:59Speaker 1: mail down and screaming in Hollywood, they would have arrested
- 41:03Speaker 1: the black woman dragged out of that store. She just
- 41:08Speaker 1: stopped feeling her. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she said, why don't
- 41:12Speaker 1: you just say the woman? The black woman was like, no,
- 41:15Speaker 1: this is from my protection. And then the police came
- 41:18Speaker 1: and asked the black woman to leave the store, and
- 41:22Speaker 1: she was the victim and ran up this This woman
- 41:26Speaker 1: ran up on her, try to push her, tried to
- 41:29Speaker 1: take her phone. That's that's folks, that's called white privilege.
- 41:36Speaker 1: We gotta start back. If you're gonna come in and
- 41:42Speaker 1: rest or you're gonna come put me out the store,
- 41:45Speaker 1: I'm we at least gonna start having reasons. Yeah, and
- 41:50Speaker 1: that's really I mean tell me saying that, But I'm
- 41:53Speaker 1: telling you, man, y'all see, but she used, then you
- 41:57Speaker 1: can't do that of entitlement that a lot of people
- 42:03Speaker 1: have that because of the color of their skin, they
- 42:06Speaker 1: could do like they want to do whatever. It's just amazing, man,
- 42:11Speaker 1: the rights that they feel that they're entitled to. And

- 43:23Speaker 1: for ate the white and your family. Catch yourself to
- 43:27Speaker 1: that eight and start using it. It's wonderful the privileges
- 43:32Speaker 1: that come with it. Yeah, it's just really, really, really bad.
- 43:38Speaker 1: People are going too far. Yeah the white. Yeah, just

- 53:58Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here it
- 53:59Speaker 1: is is the Strawberry Letter. A subject we've all been
- 54:03Speaker 1: waiting for. This one subject. It's the D for Me,
- 54:06Speaker 1: all right, Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty eight year
- 54:10Speaker 1: old woman that has been married for fourteen years and
- 54:13Speaker 1: we have two children together. I realize when you are married,
- 54:20Speaker 1: people change over time and sometimes it's not even worth
- 54:24Speaker 1: it to try to work things out. I am at
- 54:26Speaker 1: that point with my husband. He's changed into an evil monster.
- 54:30Speaker 1: He has always been overprotective, possessive, and extremely jealous, but
- 54:35Speaker 1: in the past few years it's gotten worse. He has
- 54:38Speaker 1: always accused me of cheating, so guess what, I finally
- 54:42Speaker 1: did it. When I leave the house, he wants me
- 54:45Speaker 1: to take the kids with me, so I take them.
- 54:48Speaker 1: My dad knows what's up with me and my new boo,
- 54:51Speaker 1: so he keeps the kids if I have a date
- 54:54Speaker 1: with my new man. At first, I was a nervous wreck,
- 54:57Speaker 1: but you already know women are better cheaters, so I
- 55:00Speaker 1: eased into the role. Eventually, my new boo is attentive
- 55:05Speaker 1: and compliment me whether I'm looking bummy or if I'm
- 55:09Speaker 1: all fixed up. I've visited his church, and I've met
- 55:12Speaker 1: his co workers, and all of that is fine and good,
- 55:15Speaker 1: but it's the d for me. It's the doe. Okay,
- 55:20Speaker 1: this guy is loaded and he gives freely to me
- 55:24Speaker 1: without me having to hint or ask. I'm smart enough
- 55:28Speaker 1: to save all the money for a rainy day and
- 55:30Speaker 1: have it in a special account so my husband can't
- 55:33Speaker 1: find it. Now that we've been together for almost six months,
- 55:37Speaker 1: my boo is ready to have me full time. He's
- 55:39Speaker 1: been asking me to consider getting a divorce, and I'm
- 55:43Speaker 1: seriously considering it since my husband is more like a
- 55:45Speaker 1: prison warden than my husband. My boo is sixteen years
- 55:49Speaker 1: older and his children are all grown, so he said
- 55:52Speaker 1: he'd welcome my two children into his home. So it's
- 55:57Speaker 1: about to be the D for me again. It's divorced time.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Do you think I've been with my boolong enough to
- 56:03Speaker 1: make the big D decision? Please advise? All right, here's
- 56:08Speaker 1: my question for you, lady letter writer? Why did you
- 56:12Speaker 1: write us? I mean, really, why why did you write us?
- 56:16Speaker 1: What do you want Steve and I to give you
- 56:18Speaker 1: the okay to pack up and leave your husband? You
- 56:22Speaker 1: seem to have it all worked out for yourself already,
- 56:25Speaker 1: so you don't need us. Why did you write us?
- 56:28Speaker 1: You've got the man with the D. You even got
- 56:31Speaker 1: your dad on board helping you out with the kids.
- 56:34Speaker 1: So unless there's something keeping you there, what's stopping you
- 56:38Speaker 1: from moving on? If you if you want to leave
- 56:41Speaker 1: your so called evil monster prison warden of a husband, leave,
- 56:45Speaker 1: I mean, why do you need us to tell you that?
- 56:49Speaker 1: I say, go ahead and get your D. Girl, Go ahead,
- 56:51Speaker 1: get your D. Since it's the d for you, doe
- 56:54Speaker 1: and divorce. Just always remember the grass isn't greener on
- 56:59Speaker 1: the other side. Okay, just remember that, all right, Steve. Well,
- 57:06Speaker 1: you know, let's look at this letter. Thirty eight year
- 57:09Speaker 1: old woman being married fourteen years, two children together, realized
- 57:16Speaker 1: that over the years, people change and sometimes it ain't
- 57:18Speaker 1: even worth it trying to work out. She's already said this.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I'm at the point with my husband now he's been
- 57:26Speaker 1: change into this evil moms. He always been old protectives,
- 57:29Speaker 1: that'sn't all that jealous, and he's always accused me of cheating.
- 57:33Speaker 1: So guess what I did it. Two wrongs don't ever
- 57:36Speaker 1: make a right. But let's try and see if this
- 57:38Speaker 1: can work out. When I leave the house, he wants
- 57:41Speaker 1: me to take kids with me, so I take them.
- 57:43Speaker 1: My dad knows what's up with me and my new booth,
- 57:46Speaker 1: so he keeps the kids if I have a date
- 57:49Speaker 1: with my new man. At first, I was a neighbor's wreck.
- 57:53Speaker 1: But we already know women are better cheating, so I
- 57:55Speaker 1: used into the role. My new boots at tentant compliments
- 57:59Speaker 1: me whether I'm looking, if I'm fixed up. I visited
- 58:02Speaker 1: his church and I've met his co workers. All of
- 58:06Speaker 1: that is fine and good, but it's the d for me,
- 58:09Speaker 1: it's the dope, the damn doughe. Okay, so the man
- 58:12Speaker 1: got money, Well, now he's loaded and he always giving
- 58:16Speaker 1: your money. Now, I think we're getting into what made
- 58:21Speaker 1: this letter start up at the beginning where you think
- 58:24Speaker 1: is at that point where it ain't there need it?
- 58:26Speaker 1: Ain't you said the key word worth, it's not worth
- 58:31Speaker 1: trying to work things out. Well, I guess it ain't
- 58:34Speaker 1: worth it, no mo, since you got a man with
- 58:38Speaker 1: all this damn doughe. See how this worked. It's amazing
- 58:42Speaker 1: how you start telling on yourself fourteen years now, all
- 58:46Speaker 1: of a sudden, here a monster because you don't met
- 58:48Speaker 1: this new man. I'm not saying the man ain't a monster.
- 58:51Speaker 1: I ain't saying y'all to state that, but his shouldn't
- 58:55Speaker 1: got worse since you met this man with this dope,
- 58:57Speaker 1: because your man' is a direct opposite. He's attendant compliment.
- 59:01Speaker 1: You gives you money without you ask, and you small
- 59:05Speaker 1: enough to save it for a rainy day. How much
- 59:08Speaker 1: you didn't save that one? Wish I could get that?
- 59:13Speaker 1: How much she probably got? About how long she say
- 59:16Speaker 1: they've been dating six months, five grand she got about
- 59:22Speaker 1: there to five hunter. I know how, no, not for real.
- 59:28Speaker 1: I know how people think. I know how people think.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Because you ain't saving all that money. You got to
- 59:33Speaker 1: be buying something. You know, he giving your money. You
- 59:36Speaker 1: got buy a dress or something, pantyhole, lingerie, something you
- 59:39Speaker 1: got shot up, some new jaw glitter. You gotta get
- 59:42Speaker 1: something glitter hog. This ain't regular glitter. That's ain't you
- 59:49Speaker 1: glitter down at the craft though. You got the glitter
- 59:54Speaker 1: coming to jaw called sugar. Because I don't had some
- 59:59Speaker 1: of them sugar on me back in my past life.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I know what. You can't hardly get it off to
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: be all in your mushtair, all being all in your
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: hold on Washington. About two weeks. We'll have part two
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the hour. Subject it's the D for me. We'll get
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening show. All right,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: here we go. Let's recap the Strawberry letter today, Steve.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Subject it is the D for me. Thirty year old
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: woman tired of this marriage. She'd been here for fourteen years,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: they got two kids. She'd met this older man that's
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: sixteen years older than her, makes him fifty four. I
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: didn't say that earlier, but I'm just giving you the
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: quick update. And demand has always been jealous, and he's
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: worse now. He's an evil monster, always been accusing her
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: achieving again what she says, she went on it dead
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: and she then got good at it her new boot
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: fifty four. Also, I'd like to add in that once
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you cross the age of forty, you can stop referring
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: to each other as a boot too old to be
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: a boot. No such thing as a cute as old ghost.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Ain't no such thing as no forty year old boot.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: You're dating this old ads man, you thirty eight fifty four?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: All right, So you visited his church, you've met his
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: co workers, And she said, all that's fine and good,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: but it's the d for me. It's the dope. This
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: guy's loaded and he gives me without asking. And I'm
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: smart enough saving all the money for a rainy day. Well,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you ain't saving all of it, Let's be honest. I
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: have a special account so my husband can't find it.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Now we've been together for almost six months, and my
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: boot is ready to have me for a time he's
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: been asking me to consider getting a divorce, and I'm
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: seriously considering it since my husband is more like a
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: prison ward than my husband. Now, my boot, which I've
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: told you to quit using that word's sixteen years older.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: His children are all grown. So he said he'd welcome
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: my two children into his home. You need to be
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: listened to this line. Carefully, welcome your two children into
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: his home. You gotta start hearing stuff like our home.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: You gotta start hearing stuff like our money. You need
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: to start hearing stuff like our account or you're just
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: fitna get bought, because that's what he's been doing. He's
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: been purchasing you. Now, I'm not saying he's not a
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: nice guy and he don't love y'all. Ain't saying none
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: of that. And I'm not saying he don't really want you,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: because it sounds like you do. But you gotta be
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: careful with me and the Scott stuff. That ain't talking
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: about hours. So now you say he welcome to two kids.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: So now it's about to be the D for me again,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: but it's divorced this time. Do you think I've been
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: with my boot long enough to make the big D decision?
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Please advise. Well, let's look at all the d's you're
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: talking though. It's all started when you went out on
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: the date. That was a D. You went out on
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: a date and you started dating somebody as old enough
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: be your daddy. That's another DAN. But then when you
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: start taking the kids and your answers and your husband
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: told you to take the kids with you, you drove
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: your other D into it. You took him over your
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: damn daddy house. Oh that's a double D, your damn daddy.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: So he took him over your daddy's house. Now your
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: daddy in on the day the D. That's jumo DS.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Your daddy is in on the dirty D. And the
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: kids don't even know. Here's another D. What you're doing.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Now you are faced with another D, which is a decision.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Now in this decision, you're starting to have another D,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: which is doubt. Because you're gonna ask me if Sherley,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: have I been with my bootlong enough to make the
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: big D decision? Hey, we don't know. We don't know
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: if y'all over there talking or he just buying stuff.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Now you to say about thirty five hundred, I said,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: she ain't got no five thousand in dog six months
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: shrugar okay, And so now all it is is coming
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: back because we're dealing with another D exception. Whoa, I'll
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: be damned damn. And now you're talking about divorce. You're
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: dating the man that's a D that's old enough to
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: be your daddy. That's a D and your damn daddy
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: is in with the dirty deed and he keep the kids.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Now that right there is all brought about because yo
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: new daddy, it's got plenty dope. Now you face with
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: a decision is it time for the other d which
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: is called divorce? And your decision is full of doubt
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: because you don't know what to do. That's another damn.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: This is dumb, you dumb, And I'm gonna help you
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: out with all of it. I got news for you.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Gotta be ready for another decuse. He gonna get tired
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: of your ass, and it's gonna be the last D
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: because you're gonna get dump. No, you're gonna wind up
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: in the damn mother d the doghouse. You're trying to
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: get back into crib, but you ain't gonna be get
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: back into crib cause of what you know what, what
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: you didn't done yes, she can't get back in the door.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: All right, Steve good? Are you done? All right? Poster

- 1:06:53Speaker 1: he is Junior with Sports Talk. What you got, Junior, Shirley?
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: What in the COVID is going old? Do you know
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: how COVID is? What the COVID is going on? Listen?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Team USA, Bradley Bill, covid won't be going to Tokyo.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: He out he got COVID. Yeah, Bradley Bill, Team USA,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: or that he didn't win a game, but he got COVID.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: He not going to Tokyo. I don't know you basketball, Yeah,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Bradley Bill. I don't know what we're looking like right now.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Tyson Fury Wilder, that fight was last weekend, ain't happened
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: because he got COVID. What Yeah, they canceled the fighters
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: people had. These people are getting COVID. None, I didn't have.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: They had this shot their vaccinations. I had no idea,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: but it's messing up all things. So Aaron Judge for
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: the New York Yankees COVID and he was at the
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: All Star Game this week, so it's about five to
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: six players. They do a contact tracing, So we don't
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: know what's gonna happen to the game for the Boston
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Red Sox and New Yor Yankees was canceled last night
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: through the Aaron Judge and he got COVID. They don't
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: say team, So now we don't have that game, so
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: don't we don't even know. Also, I don't know if
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: you saw this last night, but the w NBA and
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: uh and the verse w NBA All Stars versus Team
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: USA Olympics. It was a good All Star game. It
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: really was. It was club but w NBA one. They
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: beat Team USA ninety three to eighty five. Okay. Now
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: with all that said, well I said, we we already
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: saw that the Bucks beat the front the Suns. Uh,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: it's oh my god, far night. Okay, and it becomes
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the Best three series. But on top of that, did
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: anybody see Richard Richard, if you're listening, we're a word
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: about you. I mean that, Now what breakdown. What exactly
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: happened was because I'm we know he got a rest
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: of at his in law's house. I don't I don't
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: even know how you get domestic burglar. I don't know
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: who've you got to do a fight or whatever. I
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: have no ide live. I think it's a domestic because
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: it's a famblyman. It's the family. I I think that's
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: why they say it's domestic. But I heard he was drinking,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: and I hope he gets them help that word about you, man,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: we really do care. I'm not joking about it, but
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: we are worry about man. I mean, come on, man,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: you are you are one of the leading cornerbacks in
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: the NFL. Man. We just I just heard, man, I
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: just got an when was he doing? I mean, but
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: I know you will not be back over for Thanksgiving?
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Them it was that then laws, you will not be there.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: If they know what I was concerned. Just don't look,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: you're not getting turkey from over there. I'm not saying
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: you're not going back. You won't even get a plate.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Don't bring nothing, nothing, No, don't bring them dreads to
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: that house. We just get it together, dog, I mean,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: my mama and them open. Jay Jake got a fight here.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: He like comping, but you take, but you're not giving
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: over there. Medical experts to warning that America could be
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: divided into two sections, vaccinated or infected. We'll talk about
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: it right after you're listening to this Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: All right, guys, So in trending medical COVID news, Steve,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the country is headed into the division vaccinated or infected.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: All right, that's how it's looking like it's gonna be.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Early in the spring. We all felt good about the
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: COVID nineteen case numbers dropping, but now the delta variant
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: is spreading and the number of cases are rising. Some
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: countries around the world are seeing cases rise because they
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: don't have access to vaccines. But here in America, we
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: have plenty of vaccine supply free of charge, but there
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: still is this hesitant, hesitancy to take the shot. Scientists
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and doctors want us to know that vaccinations protect us
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: from the future variants that can emerge in infected people
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and be more contagious than the original COVID strain. We've
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: all heard President Biden say we need seventy percent of
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Americans to get hurt. Immunity and right now only forty
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: eight percent of the population have been fully vaccinated. Medical
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: experts say people are suffering from COVID and it could
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: be avoidable due to surge of the COVID cases. Now,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: LA County just announced that the mask mandate is back
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: on and it's in place regardless of your vaccination status
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: starting this weekend. So whether you're fully vaccinated, only half
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: only got one shot, or none at all, mask mandate
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: in LA County. Wow, man, Yeah, you know, in America,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: we're going to be one of the few places, one
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: of the last places to get this under control. I
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: don't know what it takes for us to get the message.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I mean, look, if you think about it, if you
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: look at the horrific thing that's happened in India, I
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: mean horrific. Yeah, that don't say nothing. I mean what
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: has to happen for us to say, Hey, you know
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: what if we just buckled down a little bit longer.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: You know, I don't scared to get the vascination. That's
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: your business. I'm not talking nobody else into us. You
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: don't want the vascination, do you? But we got to
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: wear these masks. Yeah, if you ain't gonna get the vaccination.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: You got to wear these masks and wash your hands. Period.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: It's all to it. Man, It's no way around this.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: This is horrible what's happening, and it's not gonna Why
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: are we going the other way again? That's what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: it's bad because people are in The virus is not over.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Yeah it's not serious. Right, people have died and they're
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: still dying and they're still getting sick. Right, But how
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: many people you got to see that for you not
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: to realize this is real? Though? I don't get that.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: It don't take but one for me, that's all. Take
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: the leader, their leader, Donald Trump got COVID and he
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: got vaccinated. Let me explain something to you. Donald Trump
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: had access to medicines that the average person won't. Right,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: he was at Walter Read He got all of anybody's
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: the day he checked in. But but you know what
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: they're making this political, you know, because you're saying Donald
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Trump still are? They still are? They still are? They
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: had some kind of conservative meeting or conference and they
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: applauded when the numbers came out that under the Biden administration,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: seventy percent of the Americans are not vaccinated. How are
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: you applauding that it? Yeah, but that's that's what this
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: is about. This is about people dying from a call.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: But do you understand what Jay Is said is work?
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I do. They don't care. You can die as long
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: as we remain or get in power. This country is sick, man.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: That's a sick message. Man. We are divided, we are
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: with no cure. We are sick, and all stems from
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: this big lie. Yeah. This is one of the dumbest
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: periods of this country. Man. You if you, if you are,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: that's stupid to think that Donald Trump told you the
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: truth by telling you this election was stupid. You're a
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: damned food. You are a stupid food. You're gonna die
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: for DONALDO? Man? For you that to be kids, right man? Yeah,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: all right, We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show twenty minutes after. Right after this you're
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: listening to show. Just a reminder, it is still a
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: hot call summer. Don't forget. We are still urging you
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: to call your senators in support of the Four the
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: People Act and demand that they take action to protect
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: our right to vote. Call eight eight eight four to five,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: three thirty two eleven. That's eight eight eight four to
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: five three thirty two eleven. We need you to turn
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: up the heat. President Biden said, some things in America
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: should be simple and straightforward, and the most fundamental of
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: those things are the right to vote, the right to
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: vote freely, the right to vote fairly, and the right
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: to have your vote counted. All right, So the number
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: again is eight eight eight four to five, three thirty
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: two eleven. Get on the phones. It's a hot call, summer.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Call your senators. Let me tell you something, man, this
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: is the most racist group of senators we've ever had. Yes, yes, crazy.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: They are point blank, blatantly, not with any shade, trying
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: to stop your right to vote. All but give your
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: damn June teenth thom huh. Let's do that to throw
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: them off with what we're really doing. I'm not food
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: by the coast to me. You can have your little
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: barbecue day. I don't care about a holiday. That's not
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: what we asked you for, right. We asked you to
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: treat us the same way you treat yourself and the
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: way your Constitution says we're supposed to be treated. But
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: you're not ever gonna do that. I don't think this
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: country's gonna do it. I don't think they're gonna do it.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: All right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after. Right after this,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you're listening to show. All right, guys, time now to
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: look into the mind of Jay Anthony Brown, be afraid
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Calemba South Carolina. Get ready. Jul out of nineteenth's the
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Art and Comedy blowout Show. Check that out and July

- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Hit it. Smoke thoughts, smoke thunts. You know, it's impossible
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: for you to be about that thug life with a
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: dry sheet stuff to your jeans. It's impossible. There you
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: don't look together. These are smoke dogs, smoke thuns. Man,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: smoke thoughts. You need to worry because everything is not
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Smoke thoughts coming at it. Have
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: you ever noticed? Have you ever noticed you never run
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: out of ketchup and mustard at the same time. That's
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you can make two damn trips. I know a damp two.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: This smoke thus smokes stop smoking, smoking smoking. No matter
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: how hot it is outside. No matter how hot it
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: is outside, you will always see somebody with a long
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: leather coat on. Smoke thoughts coming at you. Smoke late late,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: late that night when nothing else is open, yashting. Hot
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: dogs are real, damn good. I don't care what nobody cares. Yes,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: they are. It's delicious in the world, the real. If
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: you see a baby in a baby stroller with his
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: legs crossed, his ass can walk. Okay, that's all I'm saying,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: he's smoke thus man, smoke thoughts coming. Actually, yeah, these
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: are smoke thoughts. Last, but not least. It comes a time.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: That comes a time and everybody's life. When you're home alone,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: you can see that roll of tilet paper, but you
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: can't reach it. These are smoke thoughts brought you by
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: yours truly, Jane Anthony Brown. Smoke thoughts, smoke coming up.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: It is our last break of the day. It's the
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's time for the airline
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: seats to get bigger. That's all I'm saying, comes frost Jack,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: especially that middle seat, all right, coming up with forty
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour. Also Steve Harvey, our fearless leader,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: the one and only, will have some closing remarks right
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: after this you're listening to all right, guys, here we are,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: last break of the day, last break of the week
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: on this Friday. It's been a good day. And Steve,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: so you know what, I want to talk to you about.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Something I saw online today I just happened to be
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: going through and I don't even I think it was
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: on Instagram. I think I was watching Bishop Jakes man
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: and he's absolutely, hands down one of my favorite people
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: on a personal note, because I can't even tell you
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: how many times I've called him and just told him
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: something I was going through, man, and he just gave
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: me the perfect word of encouragement. And he's just been
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: he's just been a friend. Man, He's just been a friend.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Not on the pasttorial level, but I'm talking about just
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: like I'm telling you, here's a guy that's just a
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: cool dude, and he don't talk to you with crosses
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: coming out of his mouth every time he opened it.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: You can just have real conversation with him, man, about
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: what's really happening and what you can really do about it. Now,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: he gonna end up telling you about faith, but he
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: gonna also give you some real life situations so you
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: don't get you know, clouded with it like it's just
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: all you know, sugary. Like here's a real simple answer,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: just apply the scripture and going about your business because
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: it's life. But I was listening to him today and
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: he was talking about courage, and he was talking about
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: do you have the courage to go for it? Because
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: he was talking about success, and he was talking about
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: it takes courage to be successful. So see if if, if, if,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: if you don't want to be nothing, it don't take
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: no courage because it takes courage to win. You know, look, man,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: if you want to be regular, if you want to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: just lay it down, you know, if if if, if
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you don't want to make no waves, if you want
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: to be mediocre, if you want to just go on
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and fit in, if you want to dress like them,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: if you want to act like them, if you want
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: to walk like them, if you want to think like them,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: if you want to do what they do, and and
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: and you ready to just let mediocrity have his way
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: in your life, then you don't need no courage. But
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: if you want to win, it takes courage. And once
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: you make the decision to win, they're gonna talk about
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: you because they don't talk about nobody that ain't winning.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: When the last time you heard a conversation about somebody
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: that ain't winning, Nah, Man, they talk about you if
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: you win it. They're talking about you winning in hopes
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: that they can see you fall. If they see you
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: stumbling from the top, you still winning. But if they
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: think they can see you stumbling here, they're talking about you.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: They try to find anything they can to bring you down.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: But it takes courage. It takes courage to be successful.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: It takes courage to win. And he kept asking the question,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: do you have the courage to win? Because when you
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: start winning, y'all, you got to be ready because they're
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: gonna talk about you. They're gonna take shots at you.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: They're gonna throw rocks at you, they're gonna take aim
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: at you. Ain't nobody aiming at no losers because they're
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: too easy to hit because they're down there already. See
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: people only get credit for shooting at somebody up what
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: good And listen to me, I'm I'm not I'm not
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: making fun of the less fortunate by any way, But
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you don't see nobody always talking about the down try
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: and let's stay ignorant, just trying to make theirselfs look better. Nah, man,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: you know what gets you on the internet. You know
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: what gets you viral. You know what gets you streaming
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: when you start talking about somebody that's about something, because
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: you know what those people are news see you popular.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: When you start going viral, when they start talking about you,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: it's because you win it. You can't go viral on
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: somebody that ain't nobody. So y'all take heed, take heart,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: and take courage all at the same time when they're
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: talking about you, because that means you're moving, That means
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: you're shaking them up. That means you're giving them something
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: to talk about. But in order to do that, it's
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: gonna take some courage. You've got to be courageous. Man.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: It don't take nothing to mail it in it, don't
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: take nothing to lay it down. All you gotta do
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: is say I'm through it, I ain't doing nothing no more,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: and it's done, it's over with. But sit up and
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: say I'm gonna finish. Sit up and say I'm gonna
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: see it through. Sit up and say I'm gonna be
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: the best, sit up and say I'm gonna fight it,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna try, I'm gonna fight. I'm gonna win this one. See,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: they talk about all these fights that's going down and stuff,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: and they talk about who fighting lamar Old Him fighting Mayweather,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: fighting this dude, Chris Paul, he Eagle, Rue Paul whatever
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: his name is, Paul boys fighting over this dude, this
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: gout mcconna fighting over here. But the only reason they're
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: talking about you is cause you fit to do something.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: They ain't talking about nobody that ain't fighting. They ain't
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: talking about nobody that ain't throwing no punches. They ain't
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: talking about nobody that didn't sign the contract. The conversation
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: is about the people who signed up to fight. The
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena. Now,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: I'm paraphrasing this thing that Teddy Roosevelt wrote, because out
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: of the whole way he did it wasn't for me.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: But the credit belongs to the man who is actually
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: in the arena, whose face is marred with dust, blood,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: sweating tears, not to those cold and timid souls in
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: the stands who know neither victory nor defeat. They just
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: spectators man, and the only reason they're talking about you
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: because they look like you're trying to win. But it
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: takes courage being couraged. Everybody, go forward. Those are my
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: closing remarks. Y'all have a great day. Hey, listen, talk
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: to God. He loved you. Hear from you. Okay, let's
