- 0:13Speaker 1: mo like amazing buck things and it's not doing me
- 0:19Speaker 1: through good it Steve hard to move to other Steve,
- 0:30Speaker 1: please don't join join me to be doing me. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta use turning. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn got the turnout, then turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back at it. Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shore will good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me nine one and all its Steve
- 2:08Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show, Man one more time. Steve
- 2:13Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I do, man, I
- 2:16Speaker 1: thank God for it every day. You know. Um my
- 2:20Speaker 1: message this morning, Man's real clear is something that's been
- 2:24Speaker 1: on me to share, and it's it's amazing. You know. Um,
- 2:32Speaker 1: God can do some amazing things for you. But what
- 2:37Speaker 1: happens along the way is and I don't know that
- 2:41Speaker 1: I mean to say, but but the fact that God
- 2:45Speaker 1: can do some amazing things for you, that comes adversity
- 2:49Speaker 1: along with it. Every single time. It just goes without saying.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And I I was having a a fairly I mean
- 3:04Speaker 1: well not fairly but a hugely successful week. I had
- 3:08Speaker 1: never seen this type of hatred before. I hadn't seen it.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And it's it's a great trick that the devil does,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know, when when God is blessing you and giving
- 3:21Speaker 1: you some some some great opportunities in your life, as
- 3:24Speaker 1: all of you have gone through, and it is. Isn't
- 3:27Speaker 1: it amazing how some negative thing crops up and that's
- 3:31Speaker 1: what you have to focus on. I found out that
- 3:35Speaker 1: I don't have to, but you wind up focusing on it,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and your energy goes over to that to try to
- 3:41Speaker 1: deal with it. Counteract. Wonder why I was happening. You
- 3:44Speaker 1: gotta make phone calls? What was this about? Blah blah
- 3:46Speaker 1: blah blah blah, and and and it, and it throws
- 3:50Speaker 1: you off the course you are on the beginning of
- 3:53Speaker 1: the week, I was so grateful, I was so amazed.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I was really thanking God for opportunity. For this brief moment,
- 4:01Speaker 1: the enemy slides this little factor in there that causes
- 4:06Speaker 1: you to and it requires your attention. You have to
- 4:09Speaker 1: pay an attention because you don't know. You're going, Wow, man,
- 4:12Speaker 1: let me see what this could really be? How much
- 4:15Speaker 1: dirt is this really that they're trying to do, and
- 4:18Speaker 1: so it requires your attention. But in that attention, you
- 4:22Speaker 1: lose your focus on really all the blessings and the
- 4:26Speaker 1: good thing that God does for you. That the enemy
- 4:29Speaker 1: has an amazing trick that he does that. And it
- 4:33Speaker 1: was and it was in my head. I gotta tell
- 4:35Speaker 1: y'all all week long, man, and I was doing some
- 4:37Speaker 1: amazing stuff. I was having such a blessed week, man,
- 4:42Speaker 1: in terms of press and pr and where God was
- 4:44Speaker 1: taking me. And then when I got back, I was
- 4:49Speaker 1: talking with my wife, and then I was talking to
- 4:52Speaker 1: a good friend of ours and they shared something that
- 4:57Speaker 1: really helped me out. And they said to me, new level,
- 5:03Speaker 1: new devil. You know it's it's it's something really simple,
- 5:08Speaker 1: but new level, new devil. Every time you go to
- 5:13Speaker 1: another level, every time you go a little bit higher,
- 5:18Speaker 1: every time God has a blessing in store for you,
- 5:22Speaker 1: every time He moves you in position, do you understand
- 5:26Speaker 1: that the enemy's job is to make you not see
- 5:29Speaker 1: the blessing, make you not be grateful for it, lose
- 5:33Speaker 1: your focus and focus on this that I just threw
- 5:36Speaker 1: in your way, this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery,
- 5:41Speaker 1: and man, I was, I was. I got you. I
- 5:43Speaker 1: just gotta tell you, man, I mean, it was so
- 5:46Speaker 1: filled with hatred that I had to I really spend
- 5:49Speaker 1: some time addressing it. You know, I got publicists on
- 5:52Speaker 1: the phone. I said, what's what's happening here? Y'all not
- 5:54Speaker 1: watching this? Y'all not what? What was? What was this attack?
- 5:57Speaker 1: You knew that you didn't know these angles? What what
- 5:59Speaker 1: was you know? Steve Chill, new level, new devil. If
- 6:06Speaker 1: you get a promotion on your job, guess what. Somebody
- 6:10Speaker 1: ain't happy that you got the promotion. So here come
- 6:13Speaker 1: to Hey. You don't even you don't even really know
- 6:15Speaker 1: these people. You have no idea. Every time you make
- 6:20Speaker 1: a decision to make your relationship with your spouse better. Man,
- 6:25Speaker 1: this is it. You know what I'm gonna start doing.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this, man, so me and my girl
- 6:29Speaker 1: can go on and have this on. Me and my
- 6:31Speaker 1: man can go on and have this. Watch what happened
- 6:34Speaker 1: every single time? Here comes the new level, the new devil,
- 6:39Speaker 1: the trick. You don't need to do that, what you're
- 6:42Speaker 1: doing that for her? She don't appreciate it. He ain't
- 6:44Speaker 1: gonna appreciate it. Look over here, man, look at that
- 6:47Speaker 1: right there. Ain't he nothing? You know, he missed, he
- 6:49Speaker 1: didn't call you. And he said, it's gonna all types
- 6:51Speaker 1: of stuff. It just happens all the time. And I
- 6:54Speaker 1: was sitting here talking with this friend, really good friend,
- 6:57Speaker 1: very spiritual person, and they said, you know something, Steve.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You know, I was talking to Jesus and said I
- 7:04Speaker 1: was having this conversation with Christ. And I said, God,
- 7:07Speaker 1: for real, you mean to tell me every time that
- 7:12Speaker 1: something good happens to me? You mean every time I
- 7:17Speaker 1: try to go to the next level, every time you
- 7:19Speaker 1: put me on the next level, you mean to tell
- 7:21Speaker 1: me that I got to go through this right here?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Are you for real? And then my friend said, Jesus said,
- 7:30Speaker 1: they did it to me, and we just fell out laughing.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They did it to me, They did it to him.
- 7:39Speaker 1: They did it to him for him to go to
- 7:42Speaker 1: the next level. And you know, I was just I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was just going over the whole story about the crucifixion
- 7:48Speaker 1: and everything that had to be amazing man, of all
- 7:51Speaker 1: the hate he had endued, all the prosecuting he had
- 7:53Speaker 1: do it. They thought, ultimately, what we'll do is we'll
- 7:58Speaker 1: nail him on the cross and crucified, and that'll be
- 8:01Speaker 1: the end of him. And we'll put him in his
- 8:03Speaker 1: tune and we'll put this big stone up there, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: that'll be the end of him. But what they did
- 8:08Speaker 1: not know was all you was doing was setting the
- 8:11Speaker 1: tone for the next level. Because eventually the stone got
- 8:15Speaker 1: rolled away and he went and got placed with his
- 8:18Speaker 1: father where he was headed to. Anyway, he ultimately knew
- 8:23Speaker 1: that his ultimate goal was to get to his father.
- 8:27Speaker 1: So when you when you when you thought you were
- 8:31Speaker 1: doing what you were doing to him, and you put
- 8:34Speaker 1: him in a tune, and you put the big stone
- 8:36Speaker 1: up in there, and the stone got got rolled away,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and he went eventually to where he was trying to
- 8:42Speaker 1: get to. That story is in place for all of
- 8:48Speaker 1: us to remember that when we are going through some things.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Could it be because we are going to a place,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you know, It could be just a place in life.
- 8:59Speaker 1: It could be just a a different level in life.
- 9:01Speaker 1: That's all it has to be. But there's going to
- 9:04Speaker 1: be the adversarial challenges that come with it, and those
- 9:09Speaker 1: are the moments we must expect, expect and take them
- 9:13Speaker 1: head on and still not lose your focus or appreciation
- 9:17Speaker 1: for what God has done. For you. So in light
- 9:19Speaker 1: of all of that, I'm able to say the day
- 9:22Speaker 1: that I thank my heavenly Father, I really do for
- 9:25Speaker 1: all the blessing season bestowed upon me, and all of
- 9:28Speaker 1: the haters and all of the liars, and all of
- 9:32Speaker 1: the backstabbers and all those people. When you get through lying,
- 9:37Speaker 1: when you get through stabbing, when you get through gossiping
- 9:41Speaker 1: and doing what you do, I'm still going to the
- 9:46Speaker 1: next level. I'm still going. You cannot stop what God
- 9:54Speaker 1: has in store for you. No one can stop that.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're ladies and gentlemen. You know what, It's just a
- 10:06Speaker 1: good day to day. In the words of my mother,
- 10:09Speaker 1: something she used to say to me on my way
- 10:10Speaker 1: out to dog going to school a lot of time.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Today it's the day that the Lord has made. Let
- 10:17Speaker 1: us rejoice and be glad in it. One time stopped
- 10:23Speaker 1: and asked my mama's mama, what do that mean? She
- 10:26Speaker 1: say every day that the Good Lord wake you upside,
- 10:30Speaker 1: be grateful for that, because he made this day, and
- 10:35Speaker 1: you hint it. Now, get on out of here and
- 10:37Speaker 1: don't ask me nothing else. Praise the Lord, and went
- 10:43Speaker 1: on went to school. Shirley Strawberry, Good morning, Steve caller
- 10:48Speaker 1: for real. Good morning, Steve, Hey, crew, I'm looking for Junior.

- 12:09Speaker 1: that's not every Wednesday. I get denied, but I try.

- 12:18Speaker 1: I didn't know it was you had to put in request.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I thought things just happened. I didn't know that before
- 12:24Speaker 1: I got married. I know it. None of them. Date night,
- 12:34Speaker 1: that's what date night is all about. Work on it.
- 12:38Speaker 1: You gotta schedule TV. You know when you're going, man,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you gotta say, hey, is you doing anything next Wednesday?
- 12:43Speaker 1: You think me we might be at it? You know,
- 12:46Speaker 1: were you a week in advance? This? Can you put me?
- 12:50Speaker 1: Pencil me in? That's all save the date. I'm not
- 12:55Speaker 1: gonna take up too much of your time I'm doing.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Do you think she wants us to notice? I ain't
- 13:00Speaker 1: even thought about that, of course not. Hey, I don't know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and you ain't got to think. But listen, she ain't
- 13:09Speaker 1: listening this morning. You know why school out? Oh? I
- 13:17Speaker 1: talked trash all summer. Now come on, In the words
- 13:19Speaker 1: of some girl I heard, do you boom out? All right?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two after the hour, it's time
- 13:34Speaker 1: for Asked Steve. We got a letter from Steve Harvey FM. Yeah,
- 13:39Speaker 1: asked Steve coming one of my favorites. We know right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 13:50Speaker 1: it's time for Asked Steve. This one came off of
- 13:53Speaker 1: our website, Steve Harvey FM. It's from a young man
- 13:56Speaker 1: named Leon. He says he needs some advice from you, Steve.
- 13:59Speaker 1: He wants to know how he can become a better man,
- 14:02Speaker 1: not only for himself, but for his family as well.
- 14:05Speaker 1: He's thirty one years old. Leon is and for the
- 14:07Speaker 1: last two years of his life. He says, he's embarked
- 14:10Speaker 1: upon a new chapter that actually scares him due to
- 14:14Speaker 1: the fact I am not used to success. For eight
- 14:17Speaker 1: years of my life, I was homeless. Now I have
- 14:20Speaker 1: a job and I have a place to live, but
- 14:22Speaker 1: I lack confidence to meet a woman. I feel like
- 14:26Speaker 1: women don't want a man who is a work in progress.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Please help me, mister Steve. I know if you give feedback,
- 14:33Speaker 1: it will be real. That's from leone old Leon. First
- 14:39Speaker 1: of all, a big part of your problem is your
- 14:43Speaker 1: thinking process. You think that a woman don't want a
- 14:48Speaker 1: man this? Why how did he phrase it? Oh? You
- 14:53Speaker 1: mean that's at this point a work in progress. Most
- 14:58Speaker 1: men that are thirty one years old are a work
- 15:01Speaker 1: in progress. So what's his name? Leon? Leon? Leon? Listen, man,
- 15:06Speaker 1: First of all, take take that off your plate of
- 15:09Speaker 1: being a work in progress. There are a lot of
- 15:12Speaker 1: thirty one year old men's that's a work in progress.
- 15:14Speaker 1: It's a lot of forty year old men that's work
- 15:16Speaker 1: in progress. There's some fifty year old men that's working progress.
- 15:21Speaker 1: And I got news for you. That's some sixty two
- 15:24Speaker 1: year old men. That's a work in progress. I happen
- 15:29Speaker 1: to be of that genre of myself because it takes
- 15:34Speaker 1: your entire life in order for you to be who
- 15:38Speaker 1: you really are. So, Leon, you're only thirty one. I
- 15:42Speaker 1: think you're wearing this homeless badge as a little bit
- 15:46Speaker 1: too long. Nobody knows your history unless you tell her.
- 15:50Speaker 1: And you may just be getting a job and pulling
- 15:52Speaker 1: yourself together, and you are successful, and you should be
- 15:55Speaker 1: applaud that. And some women, if you to explain that too,
- 16:00Speaker 1: they'll go wild. This man pulled himself up out of
- 16:03Speaker 1: the gutter, I mean, so you got something to be
- 16:05Speaker 1: proud of, as opposed to Shane Leon. So, first of all,
- 16:09Speaker 1: stop beating yourself up because you're thirty one and you
- 16:12Speaker 1: are a work in progress. Because most people are working
- 16:17Speaker 1: progress all through their thirties and forties and fifties. So
- 16:22Speaker 1: take that off your plate. Congratulations, you're doing swell. Stop
- 16:26Speaker 1: beating yourself up, get your confidence up, hold your head up.
- 16:30Speaker 1: You're doing a lot of wonderful things. Stop looking at
- 16:33Speaker 1: what you don't have to start focusing on what you
- 16:35Speaker 1: do have, and you might find out that you're a
- 16:37Speaker 1: lot better off than you thought. Great advice, Steve, that's
- 16:40Speaker 1: what he wants to know, how to build his confidence.
- 16:44Speaker 1: That's how name is Leon? And see right sound like
- 16:51Speaker 1: an uncle? Or see it right there? Right there? That's
- 16:54Speaker 1: why nobody right your we just don't they just wnta
- 17:01Speaker 1: let us read them. They write me off. Oh no, no,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I am nobody writing you for advice. Keep on talking.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Tell me gonna change his name? Change his name for what?
- 17:15Speaker 1: Old Westley? Not the middle name? Old ass name? How
- 17:26Speaker 1: new is Wesley? Wesley? What you got to be real
- 17:33Speaker 1: careful in the glass houses with you? Rock Thomas Thomas Westley? Okay,
- 17:43Speaker 1: and that ain't p t. Go ahead, Wesley? Tell Leon
- 17:51Speaker 1: why his name sound old? Don't wear everybody? Go ahead?
- 17:57Speaker 1: What I thought? You're gonna let it go now? Wesley?
- 18:02Speaker 1: The last dude I met named Wesley. I was fifteen.
- 18:05Speaker 1: He named Wesley McCanns and finish. I won't tell you what.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Oh you thought about it? You thought about it, didn't you?
- 18:15Speaker 1: He must have looked old? Did he look old? Now?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Look like a little darkskin to had a blowout? Well, well, Steve,
- 18:25Speaker 1: you know back to ask Steve, I wanted to since
- 18:28Speaker 1: you showed um the man how to build up his
- 18:31Speaker 1: confidence to meet a woman, Leon Westley, give that same
- 18:40Speaker 1: advice to a woman who might not have a confidence
- 18:44Speaker 1: she needs to meet a man or to meet a leon.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Let's say, well, I mean there's a deal for women.
- 18:50Speaker 1: It's a real simple thing. Is I think a woman
- 18:53Speaker 1: just has to understand her position in the scheme of things.
- 18:58Speaker 1: If you take yourself, if a woman takes herself out
- 19:02Speaker 1: of the hunter category, remove yourself off the block. As
- 19:08Speaker 1: I'm hunting looking for a man. That that requires a
- 19:14Speaker 1: lot more confidence than you have to have. And you
- 19:18Speaker 1: can about ask any woman who went out looking for
- 19:20Speaker 1: a man how it turned out in finding one. Or
- 19:25Speaker 1: you can go looking for any kind of man, but
- 19:27Speaker 1: finding the one you won't is that's a slim chance
- 19:30Speaker 1: of that happening. So what I recommend to women is
- 19:33Speaker 1: get yourself together, be the best you that you can be.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Focus first on making yourself happy. See a lot of
- 19:43Speaker 1: women put too much energy and making somebody else happy first.
- 19:47Speaker 1: When you're If you put your focus on you, see
- 19:51Speaker 1: we'll we'll find you, We'll hunt for you, we'll locate you.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But when we find you, we need to find a
- 19:59Speaker 1: woman who's happy with herself, proud of herself, you know,
- 20:04Speaker 1: has something that she feels that's a glow about herself.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And can I say this, Steve, in addition to what
- 20:11Speaker 1: you're saying when and I know you know this, but
- 20:14Speaker 1: women are nurturers by nature, So we're so used to
- 20:18Speaker 1: taking care of everyone else and we put ourselves last,
- 20:21Speaker 1: and what you're saying is a very opposite. We have
- 20:23Speaker 1: to take care of ourselves as as well. You know. Yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 1: we have to take care of ourselves first. You can
- 20:29Speaker 1: be no good to nobody else, that's true, and we
- 20:34Speaker 1: as women have to do that because that's how we
- 20:36Speaker 1: were raised, That's how our parents, her mothers were So
- 20:39Speaker 1: we got to break that cycle and take care of
- 20:41Speaker 1: ourselves first. Yeah, you're right, Yeah, I hope Leans a
- 20:46Speaker 1: nice woman. What tummy coming up next? Coming up? Man
- 20:53Speaker 1: Verbatim coming up next? Run that break back from the
- 20:56Speaker 1: Nephew Right after this. You're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show
- 21:03Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. Guys in
- 21:05Speaker 1: Entertainment News. Serena Williams French Open Outfits send a message
- 21:09Speaker 1: to her haters. We'll talk about that. Yeah, but right now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: the nephew in the building, we'll run that prank back.
- 21:16Speaker 1: What you got new Repo man, re pole man coming
- 21:25Speaker 1: to get your car? Repo man. Hello, I'm trying to
- 21:31Speaker 1: reach age. Please this hill. All right, y'all. My name
- 21:34Speaker 1: is H. Robert. I'm with the collection agency. You do
- 21:39Speaker 1: own a Sierra two thousand and three GMC truck? Am
- 21:42Speaker 1: I correct? Yeah? Okay, we don't show that we've had
- 21:45Speaker 1: any payments within the last I guess about three close
- 21:48Speaker 1: to four months now, and we want to try and
- 21:51Speaker 1: stop having to come in and repossess it. Maybe we
- 21:53Speaker 1: give you a chance to bring your payment in, but
- 21:55Speaker 1: we haven't had a payment from you in about four months, sir,
- 22:00Speaker 1: care financially with the other another thing. I don't, I don't.

- 22:22Speaker 1: four months. So that's why they I've been panting it
- 22:25Speaker 1: all don't already turned it over to y'all without my permission.

- 22:29Speaker 1: to y'all? O pay y'all, I don't even know, well,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I understand that. Sure. What happens is if you haven't
- 22:34Speaker 1: paid it in a certain amount of time, it actually
- 22:35Speaker 1: comes over to the collection agency. And that's what they've done.
- 22:38Speaker 1: They've actually sent it over to us. UH. They've given
- 22:41Speaker 1: us uh pretty much all the information on you. I
- 22:43Speaker 1: guess it's a gold this type of color uh CR

- 22:54Speaker 1: come in uh and make a payment to us this
- 22:57Speaker 1: evening for four months so we can see so we
- 23:00Speaker 1: don't have to come in and repossess your truck. And
- 23:01Speaker 1: I don't want to have to do that, but if
- 23:03Speaker 1: I have to send a record out there to you,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I have your address on file as well. I don't
- 23:07Speaker 1: want to have to send anybody out to pick it up.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Per y'all not coming here my truck, and I'm not
- 23:12Speaker 1: paying y'all for for new full months. I'm paying my
- 23:15Speaker 1: truck all time, every month. That's a done deal, sir.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I don't want to get in a back and forth
- 23:20Speaker 1: with you, but I'm telling you exactly how it's gonna go. Now.

- 24:37Speaker 1: telling you. I've got it listed on the computer. You've
- 24:39Speaker 1: been turned over an agency and you haven't done it.
- 24:43Speaker 1: You haven't done a thing. What are you? Stupid? You?
- 24:46Speaker 1: You you're raising your breast screaming the hall over the

- 27:23Speaker 1: house down. And I want to say thank you Memphis, Tennessee,
- 27:26Speaker 1: coming hanging out with me doing the thing. Congratulations. Yeah

- 28:12Speaker 1: trying to help you. Man, if you want to get sexy,
- 28:14Speaker 1: have you considered any form of surgery? What like light
- 28:20Speaker 1: bulb flash? You got to do something. If you got

- 29:17Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show time for today's entertainment news. Now,
- 29:25Speaker 1: do you guys remember last year when Serena Williams appeared
- 29:27Speaker 1: at the French Open and she had in that sexy
- 29:30Speaker 1: cat suit. Remember that? Yea, yeah, Well she said it
- 29:33Speaker 1: was to help prevent blood clots after what had been
- 29:36Speaker 1: a difficult childbirth, delivery and recovery for her. The French
- 29:40Speaker 1: Open authorities, however, thought in a different way, called it
- 29:43Speaker 1: a dress code violation. When Serena Williams will not be
- 29:48Speaker 1: she will not be silenced, and this year she's letting
- 29:51Speaker 1: her clothes do the talking. Serena unveiled her latest Nike outfit.
- 29:55Speaker 1: It was designed by Virgil Ablow, the artistic director Louis
- 30:00Speaker 1: Vuitton Men's Wear. Serena's outfit is black and white striped
- 30:04Speaker 1: crop top tennis skirt, trapee's back jacket printed with the
- 30:07Speaker 1: French words for mother, champion, queen, goddess. Wow. I love that. Yeah,
- 30:14Speaker 1: clap back, take that, judges, Yes, that's awesome. I don't
- 30:21Speaker 1: see how they say and what she said was appropriate?
- 30:25Speaker 1: You mean last year this year, well they said it
- 30:28Speaker 1: last year. Last year they said it so this is
- 30:31Speaker 1: her clapping back this year. Remember when she had that
- 30:34Speaker 1: cat suit on? They had they made a big deal
- 30:36Speaker 1: about it, dress co violation all at I remember, and
- 30:41Speaker 1: that was right after she had the baby. Yes, yes, yes,
- 30:47Speaker 1: so I love it. Go ahead, they get mad, that's
- 30:54Speaker 1: what it is. Now that that's exactly sick or she's
- 31:02Speaker 1: not gonna do as with her ass with that on.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Let's just cut it out. Hey, Now, she's ridiculous, and
- 31:12Speaker 1: everybody just take a look at what she's wearing. She's
- 31:15Speaker 1: beating these girls ass with this cat suit on. She's
- 31:18Speaker 1: gotta be kidding me. This is nuts. This is nuts.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Who does that? How can she move that gracefully? Look
- 31:25Speaker 1: at the power she's pounding these girls. They look like
- 31:29Speaker 1: children next to her. This is awful. This is really awful.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I'm protesting. Hey, listen, I'm calling down here and I'm
- 31:39Speaker 1: gonna protest. Why is she allowed to wear the Superwoman
- 31:44Speaker 1: outfits because it's intimidating their kids? Oh man, And when
- 31:51Speaker 1: she wears these wonder Woman outfits and gives an extra powers,
- 31:54Speaker 1: she's already gotta serve like a man. Crazy sick of
- 31:58Speaker 1: these African American athletes? Oh really, taking over all the
- 32:02Speaker 1: sports you're gonna have anything else? Starting to let him
- 32:05Speaker 1: play hockey too, She's awful. We let him in tennis.
- 32:10Speaker 1: What's gonna happen? We aren't even playing lacrosse? What's that off?
- 32:16Speaker 1: We're gonna be playing lacrosse? Says lacrosse. Lacrosse doesn't make
- 32:23Speaker 1: any sence. Let me know when you're quite gosh, darn it.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Cheaper and other entertainment Newsdon Warwick has been speaking her
- 32:38Speaker 1: mind lately. When hasn't she is my question? She's always
- 32:41Speaker 1: spoke in her mind? What yes? What is it? What
- 32:46Speaker 1: is Deon doing now? Well? First, she upset the Beehive
- 32:51Speaker 1: by claiming Beyonce was not an icon yet. Now she's
- 32:55Speaker 1: sharing how she really feels about Whitney Houston's Hologram tour.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Let's just say she's not a fan of that. Okay,
- 33:01Speaker 1: case you missed it last week. Pat Houston, Whitney's sister
- 33:03Speaker 1: in law and executor of the Whitney estate, has put
- 33:07Speaker 1: together Whitney's Hologram Tour and will reportedly serve as the
- 33:11Speaker 1: estate's first project under a new deal. Dion doesn't like it.
- 33:15Speaker 1: He thinks it's stupid. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Steve. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: they're cousins, right, all right, we have to move on
- 33:27Speaker 1: to miss Anne. All right, ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Trump, okay,
- 33:32Speaker 1: thank you very much, and vis dishing. Oh boy, this
- 33:34Speaker 1: is entered for the news. In the Midwest, there's a
- 33:36Speaker 1: tremendous amount of damage this morning, left as a result
- 33:39Speaker 1: of at least two tornadoes that drifted across parts of
- 33:41Speaker 1: Ohio Monday night. Fire Chief Jeffrey Paine says the twisters
- 33:45Speaker 1: twisted homes and other buildings apart in dating, along with
- 33:48Speaker 1: trees and parer lines. We've had cruising search and rescue
- 33:51Speaker 1: all night. We've actually had to pull people out of
- 33:53Speaker 1: buildings yet with just minor injuries. Now we're gonna have
- 33:59Speaker 1: to do secondaries, ches, more thorough searches through the community.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Tornadoes also touched down in parts of Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and Pennsylvania. One person reported kill so far, about one
- 34:10Speaker 1: hundred and thirty people injured. One of the most powerful
- 34:13Speaker 1: black lawmagans in the Congress is fighting back against allegations
- 34:16Speaker 1: that his wife's nonprofit organization has violated its tax exempt
- 34:20Speaker 1: status imposes a potential conflict of interest with the work
- 34:23Speaker 1: that his Congressional panel does Maryland Democrat Elijah Cummings heads
- 34:27Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee. He calls a complaint to the
- 34:30Speaker 1: Internal Revenue Service a baseless and partisan attack. Maya Cummings
- 34:34Speaker 1: as chairman of the Maryland Democratic Party. She runs a
- 34:36Speaker 1: nonprofit group as well as a for profit consulting firm.
- 34:40Speaker 1: In a statement of Fox News, Congressman Cummings says, quote,
- 34:44Speaker 1: these baseless claims come from a group funded by right
- 34:46Speaker 1: wing mega donors known for their political hit jobs. The
- 34:51Speaker 1: Republican dominated Texas legislature has passed a bill that would
- 34:53Speaker 1: allow residents to carry handguns in public for as long
- 34:56Speaker 1: as a week after a state or national disaster. Declar
- 35:00Speaker 1: Ration has made the state Senate to prove the measure,
- 35:02Speaker 1: but it was a raise of thin margin, sixteen to
- 35:04Speaker 1: fifteen because three Republicans voted against it with the Democrats.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Opening statements have begun the trial of Johnson and Johnson,
- 35:12Speaker 1: the state of Oklahoma suiting the drug maker for billions
- 35:14Speaker 1: for allegedly helping to fuel the nation's opioid crisis. This
- 35:17Speaker 1: is the first of more than two thousand lawsuits to
- 35:20Speaker 1: go to trial over claims that the makers of opioids
- 35:22Speaker 1: use deceptive marketing to get folks hooked on it. Good
- 35:26Speaker 1: news the Smithsonian Institution as a new leader. Lonnie Bunch
- 35:29Speaker 1: has been named Secretary of the world's largest museum and
- 35:31Speaker 1: research complex, and he's the first African American to be
- 35:34Speaker 1: named to that prestigious post. He says he has high
- 35:36Speaker 1: hopes the Smithsonian has a role to play in making
- 35:41Speaker 1: this nation stronger and being some of the glue that
- 35:44Speaker 1: holds a country together. Up till now, Lonnie Bunch has
- 35:46Speaker 1: been head of the at Smithsonian's National Museum for African
- 35:49Speaker 1: American History and Culture, which he helped create. Sad news,
- 35:54Speaker 1: Remember the movie Remember the Titans, Denzel's movie, Well, that
- 35:57Speaker 1: was a true story and unfortunately, the real white football
- 36:00Speaker 1: coach in that story, Bill Yost has died at age
- 36:03Speaker 1: ninety four. Bill Yos defied the town racist to work
- 36:06Speaker 1: under a black coach, Herman Boone, at that high school
- 36:09Speaker 1: in nineteen seventy one in Virginia, and the movie Herman
- 36:11Speaker 1: Boone was played by Denzel Washington. The real Herman Boone
- 36:14Speaker 1: says that Bill Yos was a best friend he ever had.
- 36:18Speaker 1: By the way, Yosteth comes after the death of another
- 36:20Speaker 1: character portrayed in the film, student athlete Julius Campbell. He
- 36:23Speaker 1: died in January. Now back to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:26Speaker 1: You're listening to show, and Atlanta police officer was fired
- 36:32Speaker 1: after punching a mother in front of her four year
- 36:35Speaker 1: old daughter. A cell phone video, Yeah, this is terrible.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Cell phone video surface showing the sergeant yanking a black
- 36:41Speaker 1: woman from her car, slamming her to the ground, punched
- 36:46Speaker 1: her in the faith, and deployed his stun gun in
- 36:49Speaker 1: front of her daughter. An investigation was launched, and thank
- 36:53Speaker 1: god the sergeant was fired. But still, what was that about?
- 37:00Speaker 1: What was it about? I mean, because of how so
- 37:06Speaker 1: many people feel about a person with black skin. Yeah,
- 37:11Speaker 1: it's just as simple as that. There are people who think,
- 37:15Speaker 1: not everybody. There are people who think because of this
- 37:19Speaker 1: brown skin, this dark skin, that you're less of a
- 37:24Speaker 1: human than they are, and they have the right to
- 37:26Speaker 1: do what they want to. So skip that. How you
- 37:28Speaker 1: was raised, You don't hit a woman. Where that comes from? Yeah,
- 37:32Speaker 1: see that don't even come into play. Yeah yeah, yeah, Steve,
- 37:39Speaker 1: you know these people man, this world, I mean, we're
- 37:44Speaker 1: just in a sad, sad state of affairs. The only
- 37:49Speaker 1: thing I'm really grateful for is they got phone cameras. Now,
- 37:54Speaker 1: as bad as that is, no see, but this is
- 37:58Speaker 1: what's been going on for years, tens and twenty centuries.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I mean for decades and decades. There just wasn't no
- 38:06Speaker 1: way to film it, right, That's been going on for decades. Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 1: you've heard the stories. Yeah, but now the videos, like
- 38:15Speaker 1: you said, Steve, it provides evidence, some type of evidence
- 38:19Speaker 1: that this is really happening and this this was the
- 38:22Speaker 1: version of what actually went down. Well, you know. The
- 38:25Speaker 1: sad part about that too is yeah, they're videos, but
- 38:28Speaker 1: sometimes even with the videos they get off. The sad
- 38:31Speaker 1: part of it is that when these grand juries and
- 38:35Speaker 1: these juries see the same videos that we see see,
- 38:40Speaker 1: they never see what we see, right, I mean it
- 38:44Speaker 1: be drawn down the middle so distinct. It's it's alarming, man, Yeah,
- 38:51Speaker 1: yeah it is. In another trending police racial video gone
- 38:56Speaker 1: viral story, this time it was in Arkansas, Edric Truett
- 39:01Speaker 1: was in a parking lot of a gas station. He
- 39:03Speaker 1: went on Facebook Live after being approached by a police
- 39:06Speaker 1: officer with his gun drawn. Edric had his hands out
- 39:09Speaker 1: of the window during the whole time. The police chief
- 39:13Speaker 1: is investigating. Wow, this is crazy, Like you say, see
- 39:17Speaker 1: what's going on in our country right now? You know
- 39:20Speaker 1: the problem with all of these videos, it's all black
- 39:25Speaker 1: people in all Yeah, I mean that's the troubling part
- 39:29Speaker 1: is we don't get to see this happening to anybody else,
- 39:32Speaker 1: which can only make me think it ain't happening to
- 39:34Speaker 1: nobody else. That's the damn shame of it. Yeah. Yeah, Well,
- 39:38Speaker 1: coming up, we'll keep this conversation going. Coming up at
- 39:41Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour, we're going to discuss more
- 39:43Speaker 1: of these racial issues with the police and African Americans.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show well we left off,
- 39:52Speaker 1: we're talking about the racial issues with the police in
- 39:55Speaker 1: this country and African Americans. We see these videos going
- 39:58Speaker 1: viral on social media every day. Right before the break,
- 40:02Speaker 1: we talked about um in Arkansas, where a man named
- 40:05Speaker 1: Edric Truett was in a parking lot of a gas station.
- 40:08Speaker 1: He went on Facebook Live Steve after being approached by
- 40:11Speaker 1: a police officer with his gun drawn. Now Edric had
- 40:14Speaker 1: his hands out of the window during the whole time.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Take a listen, shut your car, come out, shut your car.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Got a card? Where God where Shut the car. My
- 40:27Speaker 1: hand in the air. Shut carm shut, now, I come,
- 40:31Speaker 1: shut the car off. I ain't moving my hand. He
- 40:33Speaker 1: tried shooper, He tried shooping. Shut carm you I A'm moving. Nope,
- 40:38Speaker 1: my hand in the air, shut carl. My hand in
- 40:40Speaker 1: the air. My hand in the air. My hand in
- 40:44Speaker 1: the air, My hand in the air. New Year, it's
- 40:48Speaker 1: at melo. Heis my hand in the air, my hand
- 40:52Speaker 1: in the air. All you gotta do is drive on.
- 40:57Speaker 1: What's what I was doing? What was I doing? What
- 41:02Speaker 1: was I doing? My hand and the air. I had
- 41:03Speaker 1: to comply with the shoot my hand and then shoot you.
- 41:06Speaker 1: But you're not gonna move you. My hand and the earth,
- 41:10Speaker 1: my hand and the air. You tell me to shut
- 41:12Speaker 1: my car so you can shoot me? Come on, Oh
- 41:14Speaker 1: my god, see see see he told He told the
- 41:20Speaker 1: young man. This was the telling moment. He told a
- 41:22Speaker 1: young man, I'm not gonna shoot you, but you're not
- 41:25Speaker 1: gonna moved him hands cut your call now. See. And
- 41:30Speaker 1: that young man knew, he was smart enough to know
- 41:33Speaker 1: that if I reached down here to cut this call,
- 41:36Speaker 1: this man gonna shoot me. Because he he said exactly
- 41:41Speaker 1: what he was thinking. I ain't gonna shoot you, but
- 41:44Speaker 1: you ain't gonna move him hands. That brother said, my
- 41:48Speaker 1: hands is in the air. But you know, here's the
- 41:51Speaker 1: other part. Oh, I saw the video. Here's the other
- 41:55Speaker 1: part of it. Though. I'm so glad this young man
- 42:00Speaker 1: has been taught how to behave because he would be dead.
- 42:08Speaker 1: But I have some more news for you. The tragedy
- 42:11Speaker 1: of it is is that I've had to talk to
- 42:14Speaker 1: all my sons, Yeah, about how to how to act
- 42:18Speaker 1: when they get pulled, or how not to wear your hoodies?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Why are you driving all kinds of stuff I got
- 42:26Speaker 1: to go with my son that a non non African
- 42:30Speaker 1: American parent doesn't have to go with their kids. Just
- 42:34Speaker 1: don't You could just leave that out. It's not even
- 42:37Speaker 1: a but this young man knew. Nah man, you're trying
- 42:41Speaker 1: to shoot me if I go for my if I
- 42:43Speaker 1: reached out here to cut this car, you're gonna shoot me.
- 42:45Speaker 1: And he knew it. But shoot him for what though?
- 42:47Speaker 1: What is he doing? That's the crazy part is why
- 42:51Speaker 1: didn't you obey the law, the direct law for order?
- 42:55Speaker 1: Hey man? What was I trying to do? But why
- 42:59Speaker 1: is it that you're ready to kill him? Thought? Because
- 43:05Speaker 1: because two things I really believe this. Well, number one
- 43:10Speaker 1: is our skin color, just number one. And then I'm
- 43:15Speaker 1: gonna tell you something else. Man. I had a conversation
- 43:18Speaker 1: with with some black police officers about this. There are
- 43:21Speaker 1: a lot of white officers, not all, but there are
- 43:25Speaker 1: some white officers who are afraid of black dudes because
- 43:32Speaker 1: they're scared they're gonna get whipped. So before I get whipped,
- 43:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna shoot you. That's that's and I've I've heard
- 43:40Speaker 1: black officers say that, I'm not gonna say the black
- 43:43Speaker 1: officers names, but I've heard black officers say this before,
- 43:48Speaker 1: and it's just troubling. Man. It's but see, like I
- 43:52Speaker 1: said before, none of this it it's see if there
- 43:57Speaker 1: were whites in these videos, then we could have a
- 44:01Speaker 1: conversation about but it ain't ever no white people in
- 44:05Speaker 1: these videos. The white people always got the guns, and
- 44:09Speaker 1: the victims is always black. Oh man was up and
- 44:16Speaker 1: he got to roll it down as soon as he
- 44:18Speaker 1: reached down, but he was the officer was just ready drunk. Yeah, yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 1: it's always to that. I'm not moving my hands. Wow.
- 44:31Speaker 1: All right, guys, um, it's time to switch gears. Now.
- 44:35Speaker 1: The nephew is here. Bring some laughter. Back to the
- 44:38Speaker 1: show out. I don't want to prank Frank. Phone call
- 44:42Speaker 1: coming up right after this, you're listening, coming up at
- 44:48Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
- 44:50Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject my sister
- 44:54Speaker 1: can't have my girlfriend? My sister can't have my girlfriend.
- 44:59Speaker 1: But right now the used in the building with today's
- 45:01Speaker 1: prying phone call. What you got for his nap, Sirley? Yeah,
- 45:06Speaker 1: this goes up to miss Helen right here, if you
- 45:08Speaker 1: don't mind. Oh, I'm glad you said up. This is
- 45:12Speaker 1: the electric company with that Aqua Booget carry. That's what
- 45:17Speaker 1: it is, with that Aqua Tommy bothering them people, having

- 45:50Speaker 1: we're calling around quite a few people in your neighborhood
- 45:53Speaker 1: running some tests on individual homes and making sure the

- 46:26Speaker 1: to do. Now. How big is your house? Do you
- 46:28Speaker 1: have many bedrooms? You got four bedrooms? Now you have
- 46:31Speaker 1: upstairs downstairs? It's too short? Okay, all right, So here's
- 46:36Speaker 1: what we need to do. Um, if you can't, ain't
- 46:38Speaker 1: gonna take loan though I got because I'm in a hurry. Man,
- 46:41Speaker 1: ain't gonna have a lot of time. No, no, no,

- 47:22Speaker 1: Just turn them on. You got them on. I got
- 47:24Speaker 1: one on. Let's try to turn that other one on.
- 47:26Speaker 1: All right, they both on? Okay. Now, you got a
- 47:29Speaker 1: microwave in your kitchen? Yeah, microwave? Okay, turn out on.
- 47:33Speaker 1: It's already on. Man, I can see the lights. One
- 47:35Speaker 1: it's got the clock on it. That's got that double

- 54:06Speaker 1: Buggle up, hold on tight, we got it for you. Here.
- 54:08Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry letter. All right, let's go subject.
- 54:11Speaker 1: My sister can't have my girlfriend here. Stephen Shirley, I
- 54:16Speaker 1: have some news to share with you, and I need
- 54:18Speaker 1: your input. I'm a thirty three year old woman and
- 54:20Speaker 1: I have a female friend that everyone thinks is just
- 54:23Speaker 1: a friend, but secretly she's my girlfriend girlfriend as in lover.
- 54:30Speaker 1: It all started about four years ago when we both
- 54:33Speaker 1: were having issues in our love life and we started venting,
- 54:37Speaker 1: crying and holding each other. One thing led to another,
- 54:40Speaker 1: and it was on. I totally loved the experience and
- 54:44Speaker 1: wish I could be with her more, but we live
- 54:47Speaker 1: in different cities. We've managed to be discreet with everything,
- 54:51Speaker 1: so no one knows anything. She came to town two
- 54:54Speaker 1: weekends ago for my son's birthday party, and she spent
- 54:57Speaker 1: most of the time laughing and talking to my younger sister.
- 55:01Speaker 1: I was kind of mad, but I had to play
- 55:03Speaker 1: it off because I didn't want to cause a scene.
- 55:06Speaker 1: After the party, I told my girlfriend that I was
- 55:09Speaker 1: a bit jealous, and she said that it was nothing
- 55:11Speaker 1: but light flirting because she was trying to see if
- 55:14Speaker 1: my sister was interested. Well, after talking to my sister
- 55:18Speaker 1: and jokingly asking her what she and my girlfriend were
- 55:21Speaker 1: talking about. My sister considered it to be more than flirting,
- 55:25Speaker 1: and she is interested in my girlfriend. I was furious,
- 55:30Speaker 1: but there is nothing I can do. I didn't even
- 55:33Speaker 1: know my sister was interested in women, but she is.
- 55:37Speaker 1: So here's the problem. We are all scheduled to go
- 55:41Speaker 1: to Mexico for the fourth of July, and I am
- 55:44Speaker 1: dreading this trip because if the two of them get together,
- 55:47Speaker 1: I would die. Oh. Oh, I failed to mention that
- 55:54Speaker 1: all three of us are married dot two men. What
- 56:02Speaker 1: shall I read that line again? Oh? I failed to
- 56:06Speaker 1: mention that all three of us are married dot two men.
- 56:12Speaker 1: We've all been married at least five years. My husband
- 56:16Speaker 1: and my girlfriend's husband are clueless, and now my sister
- 56:20Speaker 1: is trying to cheat on her husband with my girl.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Can you help me sort this out? Should I be
- 56:26Speaker 1: jealous or not? Well, okay, I can try. That's all
- 56:32Speaker 1: I can do is try here, because this is my job.
- 56:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna try. Should you be jealous? I would definitely
- 56:39Speaker 1: say yes, you should be jealous because it does sound
- 56:42Speaker 1: like your sister's making her move and trying to push
- 56:44Speaker 1: up on your girl and you're so called girlfriend. Sounds
- 56:49Speaker 1: like she's entertaining your sister's advances. Well, like she put
- 56:53Speaker 1: it in the letter, she was just trying to see
- 56:55Speaker 1: if your sister was interested. Well, your sister made a
- 56:58Speaker 1: playing in the letter that she is interested. Okay, that's
- 57:02Speaker 1: pretty clear. The problem in this letter is all these secrets.
- 57:06Speaker 1: It's so many secrets. You and your sister have secrets,
- 57:09Speaker 1: You and your girlfriend have secrets. You have secrets from
- 57:12Speaker 1: all of your husbands. All three of the girls have
- 57:15Speaker 1: secrets from all of their from all of your husbands.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I don't know how long these secrets are gonna last,
- 57:20Speaker 1: because if your sister and your girlfriend get together, your
- 57:23Speaker 1: jealousy is probably going to explode here because you're already
- 57:27Speaker 1: jealous just telling us about it. You're upset with your sister.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Your sister has a lot of nerve going after your girl.
- 57:34Speaker 1: But then, because of the secrets, she didn't know it
- 57:36Speaker 1: was your girl. You three are gonna have to get
- 57:40Speaker 1: together and work something out if you want this to continue.
- 57:43Speaker 1: And this is crazy. Did I fail to mention that
- 57:47Speaker 1: this was crazy? Because all three of you guys are
- 57:50Speaker 1: married to men, and you're cheating. You're cheating, all right,
- 57:55Speaker 1: this is cheating. I don't care if it's girl and girl,
- 57:57Speaker 1: it's still cheating, okay because the three if you guys
- 58:00Speaker 1: are married. Uh, this is a mess. I'm trying to
- 58:04Speaker 1: help you sort it out. I don't think I did
- 58:05Speaker 1: a very good job. I just know. I just know
- 58:09Speaker 1: that this is a mess and you guys are gonna
- 58:13Speaker 1: have to work this out. I don't think you're your
- 58:17Speaker 1: sister should be pushing up on your girl, though, And
- 58:19Speaker 1: I don't think you should be cheating on your husband
- 58:21Speaker 1: or your girlfriend or your sister. Steve, good luck. I'm
- 58:26Speaker 1: not even gonna try to straighten this out. It's just, Sherla,
- 58:29Speaker 1: I didn't understand when you said your sister shouldn't be
- 58:31Speaker 1: pushing up on your girl. Yeah, the lady who wrote

- 1:00:36Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: all right, come on, Steve, you can do this. Let's
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: recap today's letter. My sister can't have my girlfriend? Thirty
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: three year old woman. M hmmm. Got this friend of
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: hers that they didn't hear from everybody that they molding friends.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: They really love us. She loved it the way they
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: be doing it together. It's for her. Wish she could
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: do it more, but they live in separate cities. Got
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: together have a weekend for her son's birthday party. She
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: spent the whole time loft, laughing and talking to this
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: woman's younger sister, her girl, her girl. I was kind
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: of mad, but I had to play at all because
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I didn't want to cause a scene. Then after the party,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I told my girlfriend I was a bit jealous, and
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: she said it was nothing but like flirting because she
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: was trying to see if my sister was interested. Then
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I went over there and start talking my damn sister,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: jokingly asking to her and my girlfriend was talking about
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: my sister considered it more than flirting. Now she interested
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: in my girlfriend. I was mad as hell, but the
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: ain't nothing I can do. I don't even know my
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: sister was interested in women. Well, I bet she didn't
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: know you was interested in women either, But she is,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: whatso is you? So here's the problem. All three of
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: y'all is the problem. We are all scheduled to go
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: to Mexico for the fourth of July. Whoa, and I'm
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: dragging this trip because the two of them getting together.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I would die. Then I failed to mention that all
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: three of us is married to men. All right now,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: So don't none of y'all I'm talking about the three women,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: don't none of y'all belong to each other, but all
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: of y'all belonged to somebody else. Y'all got husbands, y'all tripping.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: So here's my solution for all this. We got to
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: stop some of this line. I think all six of
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: y'all are to put it all out on the table. Yeah.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I think all the women are to go to all
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: their husbands AND's go hey, just so you know we
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: all cared by each other. You might find out that
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: it's more can in that group than you got stomach for. What.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: You might find out that it's more caring in that
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: group then you got stomach for. Ye Now, you're running
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: there with that news if you want to, But you
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: might get some news in your damn my own yeah, man,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: because I kind of got a feeling that one of
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the men might know something. I bet you one of them.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Men would love to know that y'all is interested in
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: each other. I promise you one of them me And
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: want to know why do you say that though? Because
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: he gonna want to get involved too. Yeah. I want
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: to go to Mexico my else. Yeah, where they're going Mexico?
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: What part vote for July? I'm available? Yea three ever? Man?
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: When you're a time, y'all going to play golf? Harry

- 1:04:17Speaker 1: I'm so glad they're gone. What y'all want to do? Girl,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Let's go get naked? Getting this swimming pool? Girl, And
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I thought they never leave. I don't know why these

- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna be tired. I can five hours man, hold
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: this didn't get on my nerves. Then we're gonna have
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to get with them tonight. They're gonna get the drink
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: and they're gonna want to do something. I don't feel
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: like them at me. I don't know why. Man, he
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: wants to come over here. He don't be doing nothing.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: He don't be doing nothing but you, girl, and just

- 1:07:00Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Kat Williams
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: claims his former employees reportedly stole fifty nine million dollars
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: from him. Who Yeah, that's a lot, a lot, a lot,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: a lot of cheese, right. Kat was interviewed by Jamal
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Hill on her podcast, and Kat said the US Department
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: of Justice did an investigation to see if there was
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: some kind of embezzling money laundering scheme going on, and
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: the DJ discovered that Kat Williams former employees were allegedly
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: embezzling money from him. We're talking that's not a little
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: bit of money. Fifty nine million dollars. I didn't even
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: know Kat Williams had that kind of money. That's a
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: lot of money. Yeah, away too much. Can my search
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: for who was this enemy that was causing all these
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: things to repeatedly happen to me over and over again
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: with the shouldn't we uncovered that it was actually my
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: people that was involved. So we didn't really know that
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: until the Department of Justice started dieting these people for
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: the embezzlement of fifty million dollars. Wow, oh my gosh. Wow. Well,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I mean if he's saying it was his fifty nine
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: million or they was in yeah, he said his money. Yeah,

- 1:08:47Speaker 1: after the first couple of million, you should notice something,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: it seems. See what what you know? What would you do?
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I'm one of us, Williams, all right, peace, absolutely So.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I'm saying this because the way I heard it was
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: there in Bezel. The d o J found out that
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: was fifty nine million dollars in Bezel. I didn't hear
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: him say fifty nine million of my money in Bezel,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: but I thought he might have been part of the
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: fifty nine Cat Williams has made a lot of money
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: in his clear Wow he made that kind of money. Huh,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: he's made a lot of I would venture to say
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: sixty million over his you know run. He was on
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: a pretty good run for a while. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: could see sixty million. Yeah him, definite. I did not.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I had no idea comedy paid like that. Wow, Kat
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: was setting out arenas man. Yeah, I mean I know,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: but I just didn't. You know, I just didn't think
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: of the numbers. I just didn't. That's a lot of
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: money though. Yeah. Kat went on to say that the
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: investigation is ongoing and hopefully they'll get to the bottom

- 1:19:08Speaker 1: gonna protest. Why is she allowed to wear the Superwoman outfits?
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: Because it's intimidating their kids. And when she wears these
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: wonder Woman outfits and gives an extra power, she's already
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: gotta serve like a man. Crazy, sick of these African
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: American athletes. Oh, really taking over all the sports. You
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: don't gonna have anything. That's starting to let him play
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: hockey too, She was awful. We let him intendis what's
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: gonna happen. We aren't even playing lacrosse. What's got off?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: We're gonna be playing lacrosse? Lacrosse? Lacrosse doesn't make any sense.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Let me know when you're quite gosh, darn it, cheapers.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: All right, coming up our last break of the day,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: and of course some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey that's coming up at forty nine after
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening to Steve. This
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: is the last break of the day, and of course
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: it's time for your closing remarks. Um, you know something.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: I was having a conversation yesterday with an employee of mine,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: and and you know, I was debating on whether I
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: was going to share with you or not. But you know,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: it is what it is. I just I oftentimes I wonder,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: and you may be wandering the same thing, why your
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: life has so many bins in it, so many peaks
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: and valleys and curves and angles, and uh, well, you know,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, it's just like everybody else's life. Yeah, yours
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: ain't gonna be no different. It's just, you know, all
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: of us are at different levels. But if the ben
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: is the ben, the peak is the peak, and the
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: valley is the valley. No matter how high your peak is,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: if I'm on my highest peak, that's the highest point
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: in life. I'm well, that's my peak. I was talking
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: with an employee and he had a friend with him,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: and he was up taking the tour of the lots
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: and stuff, and he stood there and he said, wow, oh, man,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Man, I've always wanted to meet you. Man,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: it's such a such an honor, sir, as a young
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: guy about twenty four, real respectful, he said, such an
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: honor to meet you sir, Man, Man, I wish my
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: mom could see me talking to you. I said, that's good.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Man said, let's take a picture. Man, so your mom
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: knew you was with me. Oh, Man, would you as?
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: I said, yeah, So I took a picture with him.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: He said, mister Harvey, can I ask you something? Man?
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I mean, you seem like you're real cool. I said, Man,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I was just joking. And I said, Man, I've been
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: cool my whole life. I said, I'm just really, really
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: a cool person. He said, yeah, you are. He said, Man,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: you ain't nothing like what people say you are. And
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I said, y'all know, man, I hear that a lot.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I say. People who know me, they know me. To
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: people who don't know me, they don't know me. He said,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: mister Harvey, how do you deal with that? How do
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: you let all these people just say all the things
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: they saying about you? And I want to not say
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: this for me, but I want to say this to
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: all of you, for all of you out there who
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: experience haters or whatever level your life is, because we
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: all got them. All you got to do is be
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: about something and here they come. All you got to
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: do is try to improve your lot in life. And
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: here they come. All you got to do is won't
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: moan your jobbed and what everybody else? And here they come.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: All you got to do is get in the relationship
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that they don't have, And here they come. All you
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: gotta do is put in for the promotion that they
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: know they ain't even qualified for. But you put it in,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, here they come. The reasons
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: for haters can go on and on and on. But
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: the young man asked me, said, how do you deal
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: with that? I said, because listen to me. If a
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: person Martin Luther King said a person can't ride your
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: back unless you bend over. I refuse to bend over.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Why why would I? I said? In another thing, young man,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: these people, and it's not that many from my standpoint.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: It may be, man, they just be talking about you.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: But really, in the total scheme of things, y'all, y'a,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: haters ain't that many. It's that they're just loud. They
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: just loud. Old hate is louder than love. But who
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you are, what God has done for you, where God
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: is taking you, for God provides with you, is way
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: bigger than a couple of notes from some haters who
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: don't even have the courage to share their name with
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: you because they got a fake page. They don't even
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: have the guts to put their picture on it. They
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: just a name. So I said, young man, I said,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: it don't really phase me that way. I said, I
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: don't give anybody that much power over me. I said,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: how would I allow these people to break me when
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: these people didn't make me? He said, Wow, man, you
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: really feel that way, He said, Man, because I was
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: expecting to meet you, and I thought you was gonna
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: be down and depressed because you know a lot of
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: stuff in having to man that whole thing with that
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: interview you deal with that lady on your show. You know,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I know who it was he was talking about. But
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: I don't want to care to bring that up. So
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: just saying all that stuff, and and now, man, you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: don't people don't don't don't want to hear what you
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: got to say about sleeping. He said. So, mister Harvey,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: let me ask you this. Do you really think you
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: can't get rich sleeping eight hours? I said, Well, son,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: let me help you understand something, he said. He said,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: for mister Harvey, they say this is what was funny.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: He said, mister Harvey, they say that you rather choose
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: wealth over health. I said, no, I'd rather be healthy
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: any day. But if you don't get eight hours, you're
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: not gonna be healthy. Mister Harvey, I said, son, I
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: know a lot of people are sleep eight hours and
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: they're sick. I said, so, son, listen to me. Man,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: don't don't let people shape your mind with thirty seconds
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: sound base bites. I said, you can go get all
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: the sleep you want. I said, you could sleep eight hours,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: you could sleep ten hours. I said, may go on,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: and do you. I say, but if you could get
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: rich like that, I said, man, just write a book
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: because it would help a lot of people. He said,
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: for mister Harvey. Somebody said, Oprah Winfrey says she get
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: eight hours sleep. I said, well, son, Oprah Winfrey ain't rich.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Open Winfrey's not rich. She's wealthy. She got money coming
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: in while she's sleep. For those of us that are rich,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: that are in the constant grind and the hustle to
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: remain rich, because rich is as fleeting as it is,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: as it is as you spend it, I said, it
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: just takes a little bit longer. Son. I said, hey, man,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: don't let a lot of people. Shape who you are.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Get focused on who you are, put your faith in
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: God and know who you are and going about your
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: business because in this world we live in today, a
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: lot of small minded people, got a whole lot of
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: opinions and it's just a bunch of him. But don't
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: worry about it. Do you trust in God and stay you?
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: He said. Man, mister Harvey, I'm gonna do that. I said, cool,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: because I'm gonna do the same. I just wanted to
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: get at to y'all in case you got some haters
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: in your life, and I'm sure you do, have yourself
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: a great weekend. Okay, all right, drop it baby. For
