- 0:01Speaker 1: We must now re examine every single alien who's entered
- 0:05Speaker 1: our country from Afghanistan under Biden, and we must take
- 0:08Speaker 1: all necessary measures to ensure the removal of any alien
- 0:12Speaker 1: from any country who does not belong here or add
- 0:15Speaker 1: benefit to our country.
- 0:17Speaker 2: If they can't love our country, we don't want them.
- 0:19Speaker 1: America will never bend and never yield in the face
- 0:22Speaker 1: of terror, and at the same time, we will not
- 0:24Speaker 1: be deterred from the mission the service members were so
- 0:28Speaker 1: nobly fulfilling.
- 0:30Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Good Black Friday. So nice to have you with us
- 0:36Speaker 4: on the forty seven Morning Update. And we've got a
- 0:38Speaker 4: big economic story for you, and it deals with affordability
- 0:42Speaker 4: and major changes that have come under the Trump administration
- 0:46Speaker 4: in less than a year of being in office. So
- 0:49Speaker 4: why are the Democrats all about doom and gloom and
- 0:52Speaker 4: where the facts actually sang about prices, especially if so
- 0:56Speaker 4: many are spending big bucks today.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And we've got the good news for you. But first, did.
- 1:02Speaker 4: You see that gold just hit an all time new
- 1:04Speaker 4: high of over four thousand dollars an ounce? And if
- 1:09Speaker 4: you hear that and you're like, are you kidding me,
- 1:10Speaker 4: and you're thinking, gosh, I missed my opportunity. Well, I
- 1:14Speaker 4: don't know if you missed your opportunity, but my friends
- 1:16Speaker 4: at Kurt Elliott Precious Medals they can answer that question
- 1:20Speaker 4: for you. You also may not be paying attention to the
- 1:23Speaker 4: incredible games with silver that are happening right now as well,
- 1:27Speaker 4: and that's why I trust the guidance of the team
- 1:30Speaker 4: at kirk Elliott. In fact, I literally just got a
- 1:34Speaker 4: hundred ounce bar of silver the other day, and the
- 1:37Speaker 4: reason why is because after I talked to the team
- 1:40Speaker 4: at kirk Elliot Precious Medals, they let me understand exactly
- 1:44Speaker 4: where I could have a big upside in investing in silver. Now,
- 1:48Speaker 4: the other part that I love about them is this
- 1:50Speaker 4: they have transparent pricing. There are a lot of gold
- 1:54Speaker 4: companies that you'll hear about if you listen to talk
- 1:56Speaker 4: radio or podcasts or watch TV, but do they tell
- 2:00Speaker 4: you how the pricing actually works well. At kirk Elliott,
- 2:04Speaker 4: they're real simple, just eight percent when you buy and
- 2:08Speaker 4: zero commissions when you sell, with no hidden fees. Ever,
- 2:13Speaker 4: that is the other reason why I recommend them to
- 2:16Speaker 4: all of you. They also don't sell you quote rare
- 2:19Speaker 4: coins are precious coins that you pay insane markups on
- 2:23Speaker 4: and then when you go to sell them you find
- 2:24Speaker 4: out they're really not worth that much. They are a
- 2:27Speaker 4: bollyon only approach. They focus on investment grade metals, no
- 2:33Speaker 4: overpriced collectibles, no gimmicks. That means you get more gold
- 2:37Speaker 4: or silver for your money at fair value when it's
- 2:40Speaker 4: time for you to sell. So if you're ready to
- 2:44Speaker 4: find out if gold and silver is right for you
- 2:46Speaker 4: in your portfolio, then call them and get a plan.

- 3:16Speaker 4: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:21Speaker 4: There's a word that a lot of you may have heard, affordability.
- 3:24Speaker 4: It is the obsession word of the Democratic Party right now,
- 3:28Speaker 4: something they never mentioned when Joe Biden was President of
- 3:31Speaker 4: the United States of America. Instead, they lied to you
- 3:33Speaker 4: and said that there was no such thing as inflation,
- 3:36Speaker 4: that it was transitory, and that things were quote getting
- 3:39Speaker 4: better and gas prices really weren't that bad.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Well, now they're wanting.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Americans to believe that the economy is a disaster and
- 3:48Speaker 4: they're trying to blame Donald Trump for everything. So let's
- 3:51Speaker 4: talk about the facts of where we were a year
- 3:53Speaker 4: ago compared to now, specifically around Black Friday and holiday
- 3:59Speaker 4: trap for Thanksgiving travelers.
- 4:02Speaker 2: There's a bit of good news.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Let me say that again, a bit of good news
- 4:06Speaker 4: for you at the pump. Gas prices are holding steady,
- 4:11Speaker 4: a far crime from the sticker shock of recent years.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Gas Buddy is now forecasting a national average three dollars
- 4:19Speaker 4: and two cents per gallon over the holiday, matching yes,
- 4:25Speaker 4: a low price that we needed desperately to help Americans,
- 4:29Speaker 4: and we also now know that there's other things that
- 4:32Speaker 4: are really exciting Thanksgiving gas prices. This is the lowest
- 4:36Speaker 4: we've had since the pandemic, when the national average hit
- 4:40Speaker 4: three dollars and thirty nine cents a gallon in twenty
- 4:43Speaker 4: twenty one and three dollars and fifty six cents a
- 4:46Speaker 4: gallon in twenty twenty two. Gas prices are coming down
- 4:51Speaker 4: and for many drivers, and national stability is showing up
- 4:54Speaker 4: locally as well. Nearly thirty states now boast average prices
- 5:00Speaker 4: of under three dollars a gallon, from Colorado to New
- 5:05Speaker 4: Hampshire to Georgia. According to Triple A, Oklahoma tops the
- 5:09Speaker 4: list with an average of just two dollars and fifty
- 5:12Speaker 4: cents a gallon. That is a welcome number on many
- 5:16Speaker 4: gas station signs for consumers. Now at the other end
- 5:20Speaker 4: of the spectrum, where liberals are in charge, you've still
- 5:23Speaker 4: got paint at the pump with overregulation and taxation. Let
- 5:28Speaker 4: me give you an example of that. California is now
- 5:31Speaker 4: topping the list as the most expensive state when it
- 5:35Speaker 4: comes to buying a gallon of gasoline. When you look
- 5:39Speaker 4: at Oklahoma, a conservative state with not a lot of
- 5:42Speaker 4: regulation to make prices skyrocket, and certain blends a demand
- 5:46Speaker 4: to protect the environment right because of global warming, well,
- 5:51Speaker 4: compare it to what they're paying in California. It is
- 5:54Speaker 4: four dollars and sixty three cents per gallon compared to
- 5:59Speaker 4: just two to fifty galls in Oklahoma. Hawaii is actually cheaper,
- 6:05Speaker 4: and that's not something you hear about very often, as
- 6:07Speaker 4: Hawaii is one of the most expensive places to just
- 6:10Speaker 4: get gasoline. Two it is now less expensive to buy
- 6:14Speaker 4: a gallon of gas in Hawaii than it is with
- 6:17Speaker 4: all the regulations on gasoline in California. Hawaii at four
- 6:22Speaker 4: dollars and forty seven cents a gallon, compared to four
- 6:24Speaker 4: to sixty three in California. Washington State, another liberal bastion
- 6:29Speaker 4: of well socialism, they now are at four dollars and
- 6:34Speaker 4: eighteen cents a gallon, and rounding out the top ten
- 6:38Speaker 4: are Nevada at three eighty four a gallon, Alaska at
- 6:42Speaker 4: three seventy five a gallon, Arizona at three thirty seven
- 6:45Speaker 4: a gallon, and three states tied at three twenty nine Pennsylvania.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Idaho, and Illinois.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Meanwhile, the most affordable gas can be found in conservative
- 6:56Speaker 4: states Oklahoma at two dollars and fifty seven and cins
- 7:00Speaker 4: a gallon, Mississippi at two sixty one a gallon, and
- 7:04Speaker 4: Louisiana two sixty five a gallon.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Those states.
- 7:07Speaker 4: The follow other conservative states Tennessee at two sixty six
- 7:11Speaker 4: a gallen, Arkansas at two sixty seven a gallen, Texas
- 7:15Speaker 4: at two seventy a gallon, Kansas at two seventy one,
- 7:19Speaker 4: Missouri at two seventy three, Alabama two seventy three in
- 7:23Speaker 4: Kentucky at two seventy four a gallon. You notice the
- 7:27Speaker 4: trend here. Where there are conservative states, there are lower prices.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And when you have the.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Most radical liberals were at what are their prices almost
- 7:36Speaker 4: double what is being paid in conservative states. TRIPLEA anticipates
- 7:41Speaker 4: at nearly eighty two million Americans will journey at least
- 7:46Speaker 4: fifty miles from home over the Thanksgiving holiday, one point
- 7:50Speaker 4: six million more than last year, marking a record high
- 7:54Speaker 4: for Thanksgiving travel. Now the revelation comes to the Trump
- 7:58Speaker 4: administration is pushing ahead on energy, dominance independence. It's a
- 8:03Speaker 4: key pillar President Donald Trump's economic and national security agenda.
- 8:07Speaker 4: And while Thanksgiving marks the year's busiest travel stretch, it
- 8:11Speaker 4: isn't the only time drivers have caught a break. This
- 8:15Speaker 4: Labor Day, motors saw the lowest gas prices in a
- 8:18Speaker 4: half a decade. So this is not just one blip
- 8:21Speaker 4: on the map. It's a clear trend because of the
- 8:25Speaker 4: President of the United States America putting Americans first, which
- 8:29Speaker 4: also brings us to what's about to happen with US
- 8:32Speaker 4: holidays spending. How do Americans actually feel about the economy
- 8:37Speaker 4: and where we are right now? US holidays spending, we're
- 8:41Speaker 4: now being told is expected to top one trillion dollars
- 8:48Speaker 4: for the first time ever. I want you to take
- 8:52Speaker 4: a listen to what they had to say about the
- 8:54Speaker 4: holidays and shopping patterns this year on Fox Business Channel.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Concerns about the economy, people are still looking to spend.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Jerry Willis has the numbers, She joins us Now, hey, Jerry, Yeah,
- 9:08Speaker 5: you know, it's interesting everybody asking just how generous American
- 9:11Speaker 5: consumers will be this holiday season. The question still under debate.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Both Price Waterhouse and Deloitte surveys of consumers showing Americans
- 9:20Speaker 5: tightening their purse strings with declines of anywhere from five
- 9:23Speaker 5: to ten percent. Gen Z the most cautious, saying they
- 9:26Speaker 5: plan to spend twenty three percent less than last year,
- 9:31Speaker 5: but the National Retail Federation sees sales rising two point
- 9:34Speaker 5: nine to three point four percent, breaking through the one
- 9:38Speaker 5: trillion mark for the first time.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Matter now.
- 9:41Speaker 5: Meanwhile, the big discounters like Walmart, TJ Max showing strong
- 9:45Speaker 5: early results. But what can consumers expect is they hit
- 9:48Speaker 5: them all. Some fire up their web browsers this holiday season.
- 9:53Speaker 5: One retail consultant says, potential Price hikes loom with the
- 9:56Speaker 5: elimination of the Dominimu's tariff, which allowed goods under one
- 10:00Speaker 5: thousand from offshore to enter the US duty free. She
- 10:04Speaker 5: says it could cost sticker shock for some consumers.
- 10:08Speaker 6: Listen, you need to buy now because we don't know
- 10:11Speaker 6: what's going to happen. Tariffs could go up at any point,
- 10:14Speaker 6: in which case those prices will get passed on. The
- 10:17Speaker 6: price increase we will immediately get passed on to the
- 10:20Speaker 6: consumer now.
- 10:21Speaker 5: Travel snaffoos could also make it difficult to get your
- 10:23Speaker 5: presence delivered on time, so Herzog is also recommending shipping
- 10:28Speaker 5: presents early by December seventeenth at the least, plus the
- 10:32Speaker 5: big the best prices that is on big ticket electronics
- 10:35Speaker 5: will be available after the holiday season January fifth and later.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Bottom line, if you want to save money this holiday season,
- 10:43Speaker 5: make a list, stick to it, and start early now.
- 10:48Speaker 4: This is also happening as we're seeing something else that's
- 10:51Speaker 4: going to make you very happy, and that is Thanksgiving.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Mail costs have declined to the lowest level in four years.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Another example of a affordability the Democrats are trying to
- 11:01Speaker 4: say is terrible and actually it's running yet again in
- 11:04Speaker 4: the right direction. The costs of a traditional Thanksgiving meal
- 11:08Speaker 4: down sharply, falling to the lowest price since twenty twenty one,
- 11:12Speaker 4: according to the American Farm Bureau. The Farm Bureau's fortieth
- 11:16Speaker 4: Anniel survey found that a classic Thanksgiving dinner for ten
- 11:19Speaker 4: people will cost fifty five to eighteen that is down
- 11:23Speaker 4: five percent from last year. Since nineteen eighty six, volunteers
- 11:27Speaker 4: across all fifty states in Puerto Rico have been organized
- 11:31Speaker 4: by the American Farm Bureau to record local prices for turkey,
- 11:35Speaker 4: cube stuffing, sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, frozen peas, fresh cranberry, salery, carrots,
- 11:41Speaker 4: pumpkin pie mix and crust, whipping cream, and whole milk.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Price is soared during the presidency of Joe Biden, with
- 11:49Speaker 4: inflation rising to the worst pace in forty years. The
- 11:53Speaker 4: price of a classic Thanksgiving meal searched fourteen percent in
- 11:56Speaker 4: twenty twenty one alone, Biden's first year in office, then
- 12:00Speaker 4: hitting a record high of fifty three to thirty one,
- 12:02Speaker 4: despite the administration's insistence that the price increases were transitory
- 12:07Speaker 4: or the result of a temporary supply shock. The following year,
- 12:11Speaker 4: what came to be called Biden, inflation was even worse.
- 12:14Speaker 4: The price of a Thanksgiving meal jumped another twenty percent
- 12:17Speaker 4: to a skyrocketing sixty four oh five. By Biden's final Thanksgiving,
- 12:23Speaker 4: the price of a traditional family holiday meal was twenty
- 12:26Speaker 4: four percent higher than it was when he took office. Yes,
- 12:29Speaker 4: almost a twenty five percent increase. This year's decline was
- 12:33Speaker 4: driven by a sharp fall in the price of turkey.
- 12:36Speaker 4: A sixteen pound turkey will cost an average of twenty
- 12:38Speaker 4: one to fifty That is down sixteen percent from Joe
- 12:42Speaker 4: Biden's final year in office. So is the economy getting better? Yes,
- 12:49Speaker 4: It's pricing getting better for you, yes? And is this
- 12:53Speaker 4: something we should all be excited about? You better believe it.
