- 0:20Speaker 1: just open your search bar, put in podcasts, a little
- 0:23Speaker 1: purple icon pops up, you click on it, Bam, you're

- 0:28Speaker 1: and right there you'll see this podcast and you listen
- 0:30Speaker 1: to each and every episode. Senator, We've got a lot
- 0:33Speaker 1: to talk about on the show, including a lot of
- 0:38Speaker 1: conversation this week about the Save Act in Washington, d C.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And it even was involved in the partial government shutdown
- 0:44Speaker 1: as well.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Well. We're going to talk about the Save Act and
- 0:48Speaker 2: what we can do in the Senate to get this
- 0:50Speaker 2: pass to require that only American citizens can register to vote,
- 0:54Speaker 2: to require photo ID to vote, and what it's going
- 0:58Speaker 2: to take to break down the Democrats and and force
- 1:02Speaker 2: this vote on the Senate floor. We're also going to
- 1:04Speaker 2: talk about a hearing that I chaired this week on
- 1:07Speaker 2: the Somali fraud in Minnesota. It is massive, and I'll
- 1:11Speaker 2: tell you at the hearing, the Democrats wanted to talk
- 1:14Speaker 2: about absolutely anything else other than this massive fraud. We
- 1:18Speaker 2: came with the receipts. We're going to walk you through it.
- 1:21Speaker 2: And then this past week was really significant and that
- 1:25Speaker 2: the American Medical Association reversed its position and they now
- 1:31Speaker 2: oppose sex change surgeries for children. That is a major shift.
- 1:38Speaker 2: It is in significant part a result of the two
- 1:41Speaker 2: million dollar de Transitioner lawsuit. We're going to break down
- 1:45Speaker 2: what a sea change this is that the medical associations
- 1:49Speaker 2: that that we're pushing this propaganda have reversed course.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Now, yeah, it really is incredible and it's gonna, I
- 1:55Speaker 1: honestly think, save a lot of kids' lives, and I
- 1:57Speaker 1: mean that sincerely, especially when you deal with the suicide
- 2:00Speaker 1: rates that are all connected to all that issue. We're
- 2:03Speaker 1: going to talk about that coming up as well. Let
- 2:05Speaker 1: me also tell you about an amazing organization called Compassion International.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I want you to just pause what you're doing for
- 2:11Speaker 1: the next sixty seconds and I want you to imagine Lucy,
- 2:15Speaker 1: a seven year old. Her stomach often aches with hunger,
- 2:18Speaker 1: her small hands instead of holding crayons, No, only the
- 2:22Speaker 1: struggle of survival on dusty streets. School is a distant dream,
- 2:27Speaker 1: medical care forgotten hope. Lucy's potential is overshadowed, her future
- 2:33Speaker 1: is dim. But what if someone stepped in? What if
- 2:35Speaker 1: there was a way to ignite hope for children just
- 2:38Speaker 1: like Lucy? Well there is, and that is with Compassion
- 2:42Speaker 1: International Partners and the local churches that provide children holistic
- 2:47Speaker 1: support more than just food. They receive critical medical care,
- 2:51Speaker 1: life changing education, vital skills training, and spiritual development, all
- 2:57Speaker 1: in Jesus's name, and you can empower it out, just
- 3:00Speaker 1: like Lucy, to break free from poverty. I want you
- 3:04Speaker 1: to do what I've done and sponsor a child today.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You can visit Compassion dot com. That's Compassion dot com,
- 3:13Speaker 1: all right, Senator, So let's talk about the Save Act.
- 3:16Speaker 1: It was brought up and it was a part of
- 3:18Speaker 1: the discussion of the debate even with a partial government
- 3:21Speaker 1: shut down. There are a lot of conservatives that I've
- 3:24Speaker 1: talked to this past week. They don't understand why this
- 3:26Speaker 1: hasn't happened already, It's already come out of the House before.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And the big question is why can't we just pass
- 3:33Speaker 1: it right now? I think there's a lot of misinformation
- 3:36Speaker 1: on this and it's not a fifty plus one vote
- 3:39Speaker 1: to get this done. It is sixty votes. You need
- 3:42Speaker 1: to get this done. And if you want to know
- 3:44Speaker 1: who to blame, look at the Democratic Party. They have
- 3:46Speaker 1: dug in. Chuck Schumer has made it very clear, and
- 3:49Speaker 1: there isn't a single Democrat that had his blessing to
- 3:51Speaker 1: vote in favor of this thing. He's calling it Jim
- 3:54Speaker 1: Crow two point zero.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Well, the Save Act, which was initially introduced in the
- 3:59Speaker 2: House of Represented it was by Chip Roy, my former
- 4:01Speaker 2: chief of staff. Save Act requires proof of American citizenship
- 4:07Speaker 2: to register to vote. Its common sense legislation. And then
- 4:11Speaker 2: actually President Trump has changed it. And President Trump did
- 4:14Speaker 2: two changes. Number one, he wanted to change the name
- 4:17Speaker 2: from the Save Act to the Save America Act, so
- 4:20Speaker 2: now the President is calling it the Save America Act.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Number two, he wanted to add to it not just
- 4:25Speaker 2: proof of citizenship to register to vote, but also a
- 4:29Speaker 2: requirement of photo ID to vote. We've done that. I
- 4:33Speaker 2: am a sponsor of the Save America Act. I think
- 4:36Speaker 2: it makes absolute sense. But the challenge is is that
- 4:40Speaker 2: the Democrats are dug in and are rapidly opposing it.
- 4:45Speaker 2: And under the Senate rules, it takes sixty votes to
- 4:49Speaker 2: move forward, and right now we can anticipate every Senate
- 4:52Speaker 2: Democrat voting no. Now we're going to break down where
- 4:57Speaker 2: public opinion is on this, and then I'm going to
- 4:59Speaker 2: tell you this strategy that I'm urging John Thune in
- 5:03Speaker 2: Republican leadership to do to get this done in the Senate.
- 5:06Speaker 2: But first of all, let's just cover where the polling is.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I want you to give a listen to actually something
- 5:12Speaker 2: pretty remarkable. I want you to listen to Chuck Schumer
- 5:16Speaker 2: actually on Morning Joe So on MSNBC being questioned about
- 5:24Speaker 2: just how much support there is for the Save America Act.
- 5:27Speaker 3: So, Leader Schumer, this talk about election security has revived
- 5:30Speaker 3: discussions of the Save Act, which you have said you oppose.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Proponents of it say that it's you know, to have idea,
- 5:38Speaker 3: have to prove you has citizenship to be able to vote.
- 5:40Speaker 3: If some of the claims they make, to be clear
- 5:42Speaker 3: are overstated. We know there's not widespread election fraud but
- 5:47Speaker 3: polling does suggest. There's a new Pew Research poll that
- 5:50Speaker 3: ninety five percent of Republicans but also seventy one percent
- 5:53Speaker 3: of Democrats like this idea.
- 5:56Speaker 2: So why do you not?
- 5:58Speaker 4: It's Jim Crow to point and I called it Jim
- 6:01Speaker 4: Crow two point zero, and the right wing went nuts
- 6:04Speaker 4: all over the internet. That's because they know it's true.
- 6:07Speaker 4: What they're trying to do here is the same thing
- 6:10Speaker 4: that was done in the South for decades to prevent
- 6:12Speaker 4: people of color from voting. For instance, if you can't
- 6:16Speaker 4: if you change you're a woman who got married and
- 6:19Speaker 4: changed your last name, you won't be able to show
- 6:21Speaker 4: ID and you'll be discriminated against. If you can't find
- 6:24Speaker 4: a birth certificate or a proper ID, you'll be discriminated against.
- 6:28Speaker 4: This is vicious and nasty, and I said to our
- 6:31Speaker 4: Republican colleagues, it will not pass the Senate. You will
- 6:34Speaker 4: not get a single Democratic vote in the Senate. We're
- 6:37Speaker 4: not reviving Jim Crow all over the country now.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Senator, Look, I actually believe him. I think it's very
- 6:43Speaker 1: clear he's shot multiple shots, big ones, across the bow
- 6:47Speaker 1: of every Democrat in the Senate. You are not going
- 6:49Speaker 1: to give the Republicans as victory. The part though there
- 6:53Speaker 1: that he talks about being Jim Crow. He's not listening
- 6:55Speaker 1: to African Americans this country because more than seventy percent
- 6:59Speaker 1: in a pole that was put out by CNN that
- 7:02Speaker 1: they were talking and they were mentioning that same pole
- 7:04Speaker 1: there and I want to play it. This was CNN's
- 7:07Speaker 1: own words breaking down the support for voter ID based
- 7:12Speaker 1: on race. Take a listen to this.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Take a look here, favorite photo ID to vote. Eighty
- 7:17Speaker 5: five percent of white people favorite, eighty two percent of Latino,
- 7:20Speaker 5: seventy six percent of Black Americans favorite. So the bottom
- 7:24Speaker 5: line is this, voter ID is not controversial in this country.
- 7:28Speaker 5: A photo ID to vote is not controversial in this country.
- 7:31Speaker 5: It is not controversial by party, and it is not
- 7:34Speaker 5: controversial by race. The vast majority of Americans agree with
- 7:37Speaker 5: Nicki Minaj that, in fact, you should have a photo
- 7:40Speaker 5: ID to be able to vote.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So you listen to him and again go back to
- 7:44Speaker 1: this seventy eight I'm sorry, she's seventy six percent of Blacks,
- 7:48Speaker 1: eighty two percent of Latino, eighty five percent of white
- 7:51Speaker 1: and that's coming from CNN.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Senator, Look, the American people overwhelmingly support photo ID to vote,
- 7:57Speaker 2: because it's a common sense step. You have to have
- 8:00Speaker 2: have a photo ID to drive a car, you have
- 8:02Speaker 2: to have a photo ID. To get her an airplane,
- 8:03Speaker 2: you have to have a photo ID. To buy a
- 8:06Speaker 2: beer at a bar, you have to have a photo
- 8:07Speaker 2: I D. You have to look. They know it. It
- 8:14Speaker 2: is popular. And by the way, I will say, look
- 8:17Speaker 2: Schumer using the rhetoric about Jim Crow, there is an
- 8:20Speaker 2: irony and that it was his party. It was the
- 8:22Speaker 2: Democrats who enacted the Jim Crow laws. It was his party,
- 8:26Speaker 2: the Democrats who created the KKK. It was his party,
- 8:30Speaker 2: the Democrats that that that that kept the system of
- 8:33Speaker 2: segregation in for decades. He uses this rhetoric because the
- 8:39Speaker 2: Democrats do not care that Democrats overwhelmingly supported voters. They
- 8:43Speaker 2: don't care that African Americans in Hispanic support it. They
- 8:46Speaker 2: have a partisan position. They are for voter fraud.
- 8:50Speaker 1: The other question I want to ask you is why
- 8:52Speaker 1: are Democrats so opposed to it if it's not about cheating,
- 8:57Speaker 1: Because if White's air at eighty five latinos ay two in
- 9:00Speaker 1: Blacks of seventy six, I'm not sure there's that many
- 9:03Speaker 1: subjects in America, you could get this type of consensus
- 9:06Speaker 1: on including Republicans and Democrats as identify as it. Republicans
- 9:10Speaker 1: and Democrats also overwhelmingly agree this is a good thing.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, the American people overwhelmingly support photo ID to vote.
- 9:18Speaker 2: The Democrats are not opposing this because their base is
- 9:21Speaker 2: telling them to oppose it. As we talked about, seventy
- 9:24Speaker 2: one percent of Democrats voters think photo ID to vote
- 9:27Speaker 2: is a good idea. They're opposing it for two reasons.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Number one, they're opposing it, I believe because voter fraud
- 9:36Speaker 2: is a real and persistent problem, and they count on
- 9:38Speaker 2: voter fraud to help them win elections, and so they
- 9:40Speaker 2: don't want photo ID because they want cheating. If you
- 9:44Speaker 2: look at the Democrats when they have control over elections,
- 9:47Speaker 2: they put in place policies that expand voter fraud. And
- 9:53Speaker 2: by the way, look look, if you're not inclined to
- 9:56Speaker 2: believe me, you might say, Okay, Cruz is being a Republican.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Although if you're not inclined to believe me, I am
- 10:02Speaker 2: wondering why you're listening to verdict with Ted Cruz. But
- 10:04Speaker 2: set that aside. If you're not inclined to believe me,
- 10:08Speaker 2: Maybe you would believe Democrat President Jimmy Carter. Because Democrat
- 10:13Speaker 2: President Jimmy Carter joined with former Republican Secretary of State
- 10:19Speaker 2: James Baker. They chaired what was called the Carter Baker
- 10:21Speaker 2: Commission studying voter fraud. They concluded voter fraud as real,
- 10:25Speaker 2: it is a problem. It has changed the outcome of elections,
- 10:28Speaker 2: and they recommended a series of steps to prevent voter fraud.
- 10:32Speaker 2: They recommended number one limiting the use of mail in
- 10:35Speaker 2: ballots because mail in ballots make it easier to cheat.
- 10:39Speaker 2: They recommended number two requiring photo ID to vote because
- 10:43Speaker 2: that makes it harder to cheat. They recommended number three
- 10:46Speaker 2: prohibiting ballot harvesting, prohibiting paid political operatives being able to
- 10:50Speaker 2: collect the ballots of others because that invites voter fraud. Well, Ben,
- 10:56Speaker 2: do you know what the position is now of Chuck
- 10:58Speaker 2: Schumer and every congressional Democrat.
- 11:01Speaker 1: It is to oppose any type of voter ID.
- 11:05Speaker 2: It's worse than that. They literally went down the recommendations
- 11:08Speaker 2: of the Carter Baker Commission on how to stop voter fraud,
- 11:11Speaker 2: and they reversed them all. So the Carter Baker Commission said,
- 11:15Speaker 2: if you want to stop voter fraud, limit mail in ballots.
- 11:18Speaker 2: The Democrat want mail in ballots in every election. The
- 11:22Speaker 2: Carter Baker Commission said, require photo ID. The Democrats are
- 11:25Speaker 2: adamantly opposed to photo ID and the most pernicious ballot harvesting.
- 11:30Speaker 2: The Carter Baker Commission said on equivocally ballot harvesting invites
- 11:34Speaker 2: it encourages voter fraud. What is the position of Democrats.
- 11:38Speaker 2: They want ballot harvesting. They have made a political decision,
- 11:42Speaker 2: by the way, they want.
- 11:43Speaker 1: To explain ballot harvesting to people that don't understand that
- 11:47Speaker 1: that terminology. It's been used a lot, But what does
- 11:50Speaker 1: it mean.
- 11:51Speaker 2: So let's take a state like California. Ballot harvesting is
- 11:54Speaker 2: legal in California. What it means is you could have
- 11:56Speaker 2: a paid political operative. Some new works for the Democrats.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Go to nursing home. Go to a nursing home and
- 12:03Speaker 2: fill out the ballots with the elderly people with them,
- 12:06Speaker 2: and take their ballots. So, okay, mister Jones, who are
- 12:09Speaker 2: you gonna vote for? Who you're gonna vote for? Let's
- 12:10Speaker 2: do it together. They take the ballots and you can
- 12:12Speaker 2: have one operative collecting hundreds of ballots. Why does that
- 12:16Speaker 2: invite fraud. Well, let's say you're sitting there and mister
- 12:20Speaker 2: Jones votes for Donald Trump. If you're an unscrupulous operative,
- 12:24Speaker 2: you know what you do. You take that ballot and
- 12:26Speaker 2: throw in the trash like nobody checks to see if
- 12:29Speaker 2: you send them in in.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:31Speaker 2: And by the way, if you have, say in nursing homes,
- 12:33Speaker 2: people with dementia, people that are not there, if you're
- 12:37Speaker 2: sitting there filling out their ballot with them, you can
- 12:39Speaker 2: just vote for the Democrat. And so it sets up
- 12:43Speaker 2: a way for paid operatives to cheat, and it makes
- 12:47Speaker 2: it very easy to cheat. The Democrats have made a
- 12:51Speaker 2: political decision. They are for election fraud. Secondly v Secondly,
- 12:59Speaker 2: though Chuck Schumer when he says it's Jim Crow two
- 13:03Speaker 2: point zero, I think they view this issue as a
- 13:06Speaker 2: way to gin up the extremes in their base and
- 13:09Speaker 2: to scare people. Look, Jim Crow two point zero would
- 13:12Speaker 2: be bad. I don't want to see a bunch of
- 13:14Speaker 2: racist Democrats putting laws in place that hurt minorities like
- 13:17Speaker 2: they did before. And it's all about scary rhetoric. So
- 13:22Speaker 2: it's a combination of encouraging fraud and using scary rhetoric.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Now here's the question, Ben, how do we get this
- 13:29Speaker 2: done if the Democrats are adamantly going to oppose it.
- 13:33Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I am urging the other Republican senators.
- 13:36Speaker 2: What I'm urging our leadership is we should nuke what's
- 13:40Speaker 2: called the zombie filibuster. What does that mean? So under
- 13:44Speaker 2: the Senate rules, it takes sixty votes to end debate,
- 13:47Speaker 2: and it used to be for most of the history
- 13:49Speaker 2: of the Senate to do a filibuster you had to
- 13:52Speaker 2: stand up and talk and talk and talk. You remember,
- 13:55Speaker 2: back in twenty thirteen against Obamacare, I did a twenty
- 13:58Speaker 2: one hour filibuster and talked for twenty one hours straight.
- 14:02Speaker 2: That used to be how you had to do it. Now,
- 14:05Speaker 2: we don't make the Democrats talk and talk and talk
- 14:07Speaker 2: and fill the airspace. We just let them vote no, no,
- 14:11Speaker 2: I'm voting to filibuster. And once I say I'm filibustering,
- 14:14Speaker 2: we're done. We can force them one after the other
- 14:19Speaker 2: to stand up, to stand up, to keep talking, to
- 14:21Speaker 2: keep talking and keep talking and make the filibuster really painful.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Now there's another side of it, though, The Democrats can
- 14:31Speaker 2: keep challenging whether we have a quorum on the Senate floor.
- 14:35Speaker 2: What that means is that we've got to be able
- 14:38Speaker 2: to produce fifty bodies. We've got to have at least
- 14:40Speaker 2: fifty Republican senators who could show up on the Senate
- 14:43Speaker 2: floor and demonstrate a quorum. So it is painful for
- 14:46Speaker 2: both the majority and the minority. And right now it's
- 14:52Speaker 2: not clear that we have fifty Republicans who support doing this.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I am making the case this week. I made the
- 14:57Speaker 2: case vigorously to my Republican college. Mike Lee is making
- 15:01Speaker 2: the case vigorously to our Republican colleagues. Rick Scott is
- 15:05Speaker 2: making the case vigorously to our Republican colleagues. But it's
- 15:09Speaker 2: not clear if we have fifty or not. If we
- 15:11Speaker 2: don't have fifty, we can't do it. And so I
- 15:15Speaker 2: think we ought to make it incredibly painful for Democrats
- 15:18Speaker 2: and do everything we can to try to push them
- 15:22Speaker 2: to the point of exhaustion, and if they get to
- 15:25Speaker 2: that point, then we can pass the Save America Act.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Yeah, by the way, I've been saying this on TV.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I think it's really important that Republicans explain that we're
- 15:34Speaker 1: in favor of this, but we have to have ten
- 15:36Speaker 1: Democrats to get this thing seven seven sorry, excuse seven,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I should say seven Democrats to get this thing done.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And without getting those seven to get us to the
- 15:45Speaker 1: perfect number of sixty.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And understand, we will get zero. We're not going to
- 15:50Speaker 2: get seven. We're not going to get one. Every Democrat
- 15:53Speaker 2: will follow Schumer's orders on this.
- 15:56Speaker 1: All right, Senata, you did something that was really underreported
- 15:59Speaker 1: this and it was important, I say, and a reporter
- 16:03Speaker 1: because there's a partial government shut down. There was a
- 16:05Speaker 1: Trump coming out with Trump our Ax as well. There
- 16:08Speaker 1: was a lot going on, but this dealt with Somali
- 16:11Speaker 1: fraud and we need to take some real time to
- 16:13Speaker 1: discuss exactly what you helped expose this week of what's
- 16:17Speaker 1: going on in Minnesota.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Well, I'm the chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee the Senate
- 16:22Speaker 2: Judiciary Committee, and I convened to hearing and charity hearing
- 16:25Speaker 2: this week on the massive fraud that we saw in
- 16:28Speaker 2: Minnesota with the Somali community and had witnesses including the
- 16:34Speaker 2: whistleblower who joined with the YouTuber and exposing the fraud.
- 16:39Speaker 2: And I got to say, as we were going through
- 16:41Speaker 2: the evidence of the biggest fraud in recorded history that
- 16:47Speaker 2: was done with the complicity of Democrat officeholders. It was
- 16:51Speaker 2: amazing Democrat senators wanted to talk about absolutely any other
- 16:55Speaker 2: topic other than the actual facts of what happened.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Here.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Give a listen to what I had to say the
- 17:00Speaker 2: hero Federal prosecutors in Minnesota now estimate that half or
- 17:06Speaker 2: more of the eighteen billion dollars spent since twenty eighteen
- 17:11Speaker 2: across fourteen Minnesota welfare programs may have been lost to fraud.
- 17:18Speaker 2: If confirmed, the amount stolen would rank among the largest
- 17:22Speaker 2: welfare frauds in American history. In Minnesota, a welfare system
- 17:28Speaker 2: designed to uplift the most vulnerable children was treated like
- 17:32Speaker 2: an open atm, exploiting both taxpayers and the public trust
- 17:39Speaker 2: extended to immigrant communities. Over the last decade. Minnesota Democrats
- 17:45Speaker 2: didn't just fail to stop the fraud, they made it
- 17:48Speaker 2: easy and profitable, and, in a totally lawless fashion, silenced
- 17:55Speaker 2: anyone who pointed it out. Taken together, the record show
- 18:00Speaker 2: that the fraud was not accidental or unforseeable, but was
- 18:04Speaker 2: the product of deliberate inaction, willful blindness, and calculated abuse.
- 18:12Speaker 1: At this point I got to ask you this question, center,
- 18:15Speaker 1: is there any government program in Minnesota that is not
- 18:19Speaker 1: being abused by the Somali community When they figure out
- 18:22Speaker 1: a way to defraud it, they just go all in.
- 18:27Speaker 2: If you look at the numbers the percentages of the
- 18:30Speaker 2: Somali community in Minnesota that are on welfare, they're staggering. Here,
- 18:36Speaker 2: give a listen from the hearing. The programs move billions
- 18:42Speaker 2: of dollars each year, and they're concentrated within a relatively
- 18:45Speaker 2: small number of administrative pipelines. Soota Somali community receives welfare
- 18:51Speaker 2: benefits at rates far higher than the state average, making
- 18:55Speaker 2: these programs both financially significant and politically sensitive. In a
- 19:00Speaker 2: state where the two closest statewide elections were decided by
- 19:03Speaker 2: less than one percent, the Somali community votes overwhelmingly Democrat.
- 19:11Speaker 2: The numbers are stark. Eighty one percent of Somali households
- 19:16Speaker 2: in Minnesota received some form of welfare eighty one percent
- 19:20Speaker 2: compared to twenty one percent of non Somali households. Fifty
- 19:25Speaker 2: four percent of Somali households receive food stamps compared to
- 19:29Speaker 2: seven percent of non Somali households. Seventy three percent are
- 19:34Speaker 2: enrolled in medicaid compared to eighteen percent of non Somali households,
- 19:41Speaker 2: and twenty seven percent received cash assistance compared to six
- 19:46Speaker 2: percent of non Somali households.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Bender you hear those numbers are staggering, and I also
- 19:52Speaker 1: think what's scary is what we're witnessing here is also
- 19:55Speaker 1: the type of fraud that's now being uncovered in other states,
- 19:57Speaker 1: including California.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Its shocking.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Elon Musk was sweating about that earlier before we were
- 20:03Speaker 1: doing the show, just like he can't even believe and
- 20:06Speaker 1: he was the doge guy, just how much stealing and
- 20:10Speaker 1: this is just great stealing from the American people is
- 20:12Speaker 1: going on in virtually every government program that they can
- 20:15Speaker 1: get their hands on. It's happening.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Look and it shows the fundamental corruption of Democrats. Number One,
- 20:23Speaker 2: they imported vast numbers of illegal immigrants into this country,
- 20:26Speaker 2: vast number of Somalis into this country. They put almost
- 20:29Speaker 2: all of them on welfare, so they're paying them. They
- 20:32Speaker 2: put them on programs that are entirely fraudulent. They're taking
- 20:35Speaker 2: that money sending it back to Somalia. That money, by
- 20:38Speaker 2: the way, the Minnesota taxpayers are the number one funder
- 20:42Speaker 2: of Al Shabab, the terrorist Islamist group in Somalia. It
- 20:48Speaker 2: is received hundreds of millions of dollars in stolen money
- 20:52Speaker 2: from the Minnesota taxpayers, and the Democrats are doing this deliberately,
- 20:56Speaker 2: and I gotta say it was amazing at this hearing.
- 20:59Speaker 2: The Democrat senators at the hearing did not dispute any
- 21:02Speaker 2: of what I'm saying. Instead, they just tried to change
- 21:06Speaker 2: the subject. Give a listen to my response to their
- 21:08Speaker 2: efforts to change the subject in that enormous word cloud.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Virtually nothing about nine billion dollars stolen from Minnesota taxpayers
- 21:20Speaker 2: by Somali fraudsters, with Democrat politicians knowing full well what
- 21:25Speaker 2: is happening, facilitating it and harvesting votes and campaign dollars
- 21:30Speaker 2: from the people, robbing the children of Minnesota. My Democrat
- 21:36Speaker 2: colleagues want you desperately not to focus on those facts,
- 21:40Speaker 2: and so instead, miraculously, the Democrats have discovered the Sermon
- 21:46Speaker 2: on the Mount. Well, this hearing is going to focus
- 21:50Speaker 2: on nine billion dollars stolen from the taxpayers and hundreds
- 21:54Speaker 2: of millions of those dollars going to the Al Chabab
- 21:58Speaker 2: terrorist organization fund did by the Democrats.
- 22:03Speaker 1: You would think there would be some sort of accountability
- 22:05Speaker 1: there on the point that you just made center and
- 22:09Speaker 1: that is about money going to terrorist organizations. When when
- 22:12Speaker 1: you were talking about that, were was there any of
- 22:17Speaker 1: the Democrats that were actually paying attention? Were they listening
- 22:20Speaker 1: or just so so because you put up a poster
- 22:23Speaker 1: and I want to play this review, but it was.
- 22:25Speaker 1: And if you're watching on YouTube or Facebook, you actually
- 22:27Speaker 1: get to see this. But you have al Shabab al
- 22:29Speaker 1: kad is most lethal affiliate, a poster of them on
- 22:33Speaker 1: a truck as terrorists, and you have it up behind you.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And I just want to play this very quickly for
- 22:38Speaker 1: people saying, hear what you said.
- 22:40Speaker 2: When billions of dollars are stolen from US welfare programs
- 22:43Speaker 2: and sent abroad, there is no credible way to ensure
- 22:46Speaker 2: those funds do not enrich jahattist within al Shabab. As
- 22:51Speaker 2: one confidential source told the Manhattan Institute, the largest funder
- 22:56Speaker 2: of al Shabab a Islam is this terrorist organization in
- 23:02Speaker 2: Somalia is the Minnesota taxpayer. Listen to that again. The
- 23:08Speaker 2: single largest funder of al Shabab, a terrorist organization in
- 23:14Speaker 2: Somalia is the taxpayers of Minnesota.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I mean, how are people not going to jail for this?
- 23:22Speaker 1: And are people going to go to jail? Because at
- 23:24Speaker 1: this point there are so many concerns tos say I
- 23:27Speaker 1: want someone arrested if we have our money going to terrorists.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Are someone gonna go to jail for this? Not some
- 23:33Speaker 1: like not like a one fall guy. How is this
- 23:36Speaker 1: not just like the patty wagons backing up and people
- 23:38Speaker 1: are going to jail.
- 23:39Speaker 2: We need to prosecute every Democrat politician who was complicit
- 23:44Speaker 2: in this. By the way, what I laid out about
- 23:46Speaker 2: the money going to al Shabab, not a single Democrat
- 23:48Speaker 2: senator disputed it. They didn't say a word about it.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I want you to listen to the back and forth
- 23:53Speaker 2: I had with the Democrat witness, the head of Public Citizen,
- 23:57Speaker 2: that this left wing group who who really didn't want
- 24:01Speaker 2: to see anyone prosecuted for this fraud. Give a listen,
- 24:06Speaker 2: mister Weisman, you're co president of Public Citizen, which describes
- 24:11Speaker 2: itself as a consumer advocate and a pro democracy organization.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Would you agree that the fraud in Minnesota was staggering
- 24:21Speaker 2: and shocking.
- 24:23Speaker 6: I agree that there is fraud of Minnesota. I don't
- 24:25Speaker 6: believe these estimates are grounded in any evidence that I've seen.
- 24:28Speaker 6: The nine billion dollar figure was based on a claim
- 24:30Speaker 6: just that well, I think that half of them must
- 24:33Speaker 6: be fraudulent. I just heard a comment just saying boost
- 24:37Speaker 6: the number up, but could be clearer and with respect,
- 24:42Speaker 6: you've missed my testimony. No question there's fraud of Minnesota,
- 24:44Speaker 6: and absolutely I share your righteous anger about whatever degree
- 24:47Speaker 6: of fraud was there.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Do you agree that any Democrat politician, or let me
- 24:52Speaker 2: be clear, any Republican politician that had knowledge of the
- 24:56Speaker 2: fraud and was complicit should be prosecuted.
- 25:00Speaker 6: I'm not sure what they're being prosecuted for it. But
- 25:02Speaker 6: also in my testimony I described also outside of Minnesota,
- 25:07Speaker 6: the manifold ways that this administration is enabling fraud.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Look, I understand, and the reason hold on, hold on,
- 25:14Speaker 2: hold on standard is that you want I'm going to
- 25:17Speaker 2: ask a question and then you can answer it. Yes, sir,
- 25:20Speaker 2: your organization describes itself as a pro democracy organization. I'm
- 25:24Speaker 2: going to try to find out if you actually are
- 25:28Speaker 2: pro democracy or if you're simply pro Democrat and are
- 25:31Speaker 2: a partisan. We've seen the Democrats who want to change
- 25:34Speaker 2: the topic So I get you want to testify how
- 25:37Speaker 2: much you hate Donald Trump. But I'm quite certain Donald
- 25:41Speaker 2: Trump was not running a fraudulent daycare center or a
- 25:44Speaker 2: fraudulent autism center in Minnesota. So all of the talking
- 25:49Speaker 2: points about how you dislike Trump, set them aside. We
- 25:52Speaker 2: will see the Democrats on this committee go down those
- 25:54Speaker 2: talking points. Do you believe elected politicians in Minnesota who
- 26:01Speaker 2: were aware of this fraud and we're complicit in it
- 26:03Speaker 2: should be prosecuted, Should there be accountability?
- 26:06Speaker 6: There absolutely should be accountability. It is not normal to
- 26:09Speaker 6: prosecute government officials for not prosecuting fraud. That is not
- 26:13Speaker 6: a stand around I'm aware of that you've advocated, or
- 26:15Speaker 6: that anyone else is advocated in the Senate.
- 26:17Speaker 2: So do you think it's perfectly okay if let's say,
- 26:21Speaker 2: if let's say Governor Waltz or Attorney General Ellison knew
- 26:24Speaker 2: about the fraud, benefited from the fraud in terms of
- 26:27Speaker 2: bundling votes, benefited from the frauds in terms of collecting
- 26:30Speaker 2: campaign finance violations, and deliberately looked the other way. You
- 26:34Speaker 2: think that you think that's not criminal conduct?
- 26:36Speaker 6: In that hypothetical, it is not okay. D P not okay,
- 26:41Speaker 6: but also, if you'll permit me that hypothetical is in
- 26:44Speaker 6: fact happening throughout.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Okay, yes, I get it. You you dislike Trump. I understand, sir.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Whether it's so, let me let me, let me not
- 26:56Speaker 2: interrupt me. Please do not I please do not interrupt me.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Please do not interrupting, Sir. You may answer questions after
- 27:04Speaker 2: I asked. You've heard the evidence and testimony about daycare
- 27:08Speaker 2: centers with no children, with no toys, with no facilities,
- 27:14Speaker 2: with windows that are blacked out? Do you believe it
- 27:17Speaker 2: is possible that the officials sending millions of dollars to
- 27:20Speaker 2: those fake daycare centers and fake autism senators didn't know
- 27:25Speaker 2: what was going on.
- 27:26Speaker 6: Well, what I heard was claims about that, and I
- 27:29Speaker 6: too have watched the video. We're both parents. I'm glad
- 27:33Speaker 6: that the childcare centers don't open their door for someone
- 27:36Speaker 6: who's knocking there. I don't view that as evidence that
- 27:39Speaker 6: the childcare centers are fake childcare centers, although I'm sure
- 27:43Speaker 6: there are some. My understanding is that state investigators have
- 27:47Speaker 6: gone to do their duty at those exact same child
- 27:50Speaker 6: centers and have found that most of them actually are
- 27:52Speaker 6: operating correctly.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Well, I will say it is disappointing that you had
- 27:56Speaker 2: a chance, leading a nonprofit that is supposedly pro tomocracy,
- 28:00Speaker 2: to take a principal stand. Instead, you decided to defend
- 28:04Speaker 2: the Somali fraudsters because it benefits elected center.
- 28:08Speaker 1: It really is amazing the Democrats will defend this type
- 28:12Speaker 1: of corruption in fraud and they'll do it right to
- 28:15Speaker 1: your face.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, they affirmatively support it. They benefit from it,
- 28:19Speaker 2: they get elected. Look, one of the things I said
- 28:21Speaker 2: in the hearing, the two closest statewide elections in Minnesota
- 28:26Speaker 2: were one point races. So this is the difference between
- 28:29Speaker 2: Democrats winning and losing. And I got to say, by
- 28:32Speaker 2: the way, I invited to this hearing, Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz,
- 28:36Speaker 2: I invited Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison. I invited Minneapolis
- 28:41Speaker 2: Mayor Jacob Fry. All three of them refused to come.
- 28:45Speaker 2: They could have come and defended themselves. They could have
- 28:47Speaker 2: come and said that they were not complicit in this,
- 28:49Speaker 2: but they effectively went in went in into witness protection. Yeah,
- 28:54Speaker 2: and Ben, I don't know if you saw what our
- 28:56Speaker 2: friend John Kennedy said this past week about Tim Waltz.
- 29:00Speaker 2: What did he say. He said, Tim Waltz is a
- 29:04Speaker 2: less masculine version of Hillary Clinton.
- 29:08Speaker 1: We should put that on the back of the Leering
- 29:10Speaker 1: Center shirts, right, like the Leering Center on the front,
- 29:13Speaker 1: back quote on the back. I love it, truly incredible.
- 29:16Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Lastly, before we run out of time, Center, I do
- 29:18Speaker 1: want to talk about a big victory this week for
- 29:20Speaker 1: protecting kids. And we're seeing new guidances coming out saying
- 29:24Speaker 1: that you shouldn't be mutilating children with transition surgeries until
- 29:28Speaker 1: they're adults. That's a no brainer. But now we're seeing
- 29:32Speaker 1: a big change and this is going to save the
- 29:35Speaker 1: lives of many children.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yeah. So this week the American Society of Plastic Surgeons
- 29:40Speaker 2: announced that it no longer supported quote, gender affirming surgeries
- 29:46Speaker 2: for children under eighteen. This is a big reversal. And
- 29:49Speaker 2: then the next day, the American Medical Association said it
- 29:55Speaker 2: agrees with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons about the surgery.
- 29:59Speaker 2: And so the am said, also, you should not do
- 30:02Speaker 2: these surgeries for miners, and the AMA said in the
- 30:05Speaker 2: statement that because quote the evidence for gender affirming surgical
- 30:10Speaker 2: intervention in minors is insufficient for us to make a
- 30:15Speaker 2: definitive statement. The AMA agrees with ASPS that surgical interventions
- 30:21Speaker 2: and minors should generally be deferred to adulthood. That is
- 30:26Speaker 2: a big, big deal. Just a couple of years ago,
- 30:30Speaker 2: the AMA and all these medical groups were pushing do
- 30:33Speaker 2: the surgeries sterilize the kids? And and one of the
- 30:37Speaker 2: real triggers was the two million dollar malpractice lawsuit that
- 30:42Speaker 2: was one by Detransition or Fox Varian and that I'm.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Interesting that happens in BAM. Now every one of these
- 30:49Speaker 1: woke groups and the doctor groups that we're all making
- 30:52Speaker 1: millions off this, So like, hold on a second, let's
- 30:54Speaker 1: change it. We don't want to lose all of our money.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Yeah. And by the way, to give you a sense
- 30:59Speaker 2: of just what a massive shift this is. In twenty
- 31:03Speaker 2: twenty one, here's what the AMA said on its website quote,
- 31:07Speaker 2: The American Medical Association today strengthened its established position opposing
- 31:11Speaker 2: the governmental intrusion into the practice of medicine that is
- 31:15Speaker 2: detrimental to the health of transgender and gender diverse children
- 31:18Speaker 2: and adults. Legislators in twenty states this year proposed batting
- 31:22Speaker 2: physicians and other healthcare professionals from providing medically necessary gender
- 31:26Speaker 2: affirming care to transgender and gender diverse youth. In response
- 31:31Speaker 2: to this legislative trend, physicians and medical students at the
- 31:35Speaker 2: AMA's House of Delegates meeting voted to meaningfully expand the
- 31:39Speaker 2: organization's strong opposition to undue restrictions on medical care to
- 31:46Speaker 2: populations that have been politicized in state legislatures. That was
- 31:51Speaker 2: five years ago. And you want to talk about a
- 31:53Speaker 2: massive sea change. That's a big, big deal.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Yes, Center, it really is.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'll tell you JK. Rowling, who's really been
- 32:02Speaker 2: courageous on this topic. She put out a long tweet
- 32:05Speaker 2: this week that on this topic that's worth reflecting on.
- 32:08Speaker 2: She said. A young d transitioner, Fox Variant, has won
- 32:12Speaker 2: two million dollars damages in a medical malpractice lawsuit in
- 32:15Speaker 2: which she sued the psychologist and surgeon who approved her
- 32:19Speaker 2: for a double masectomy age sixteen. Remember they told us
- 32:22Speaker 2: that wasn't happening. Well, it happened to her. Yeah. Varian's
- 32:25Speaker 2: mother testified that she'd been against the surgery, but was
- 32:29Speaker 2: pressured into agreeing because she'd been told that unless her
- 32:32Speaker 2: daughter transition, she was likely to commit suicide. As the
- 32:36Speaker 2: floodgates open, and more and more detransitioners sue the clinicians
- 32:40Speaker 2: who subjected them to an unregulated medical experiment. Gender identity
- 32:46Speaker 2: activists will almost certainly continue to ignore any evidence that
- 32:49Speaker 2: fails to support their preferred narrative, and she goes on
- 32:54Speaker 2: to say this will go down in history as one
- 32:56Speaker 2: of the worst medical scandals of all time. Adults inside
- 33:00Speaker 2: and outside the medical profession sold troubled young people like
- 33:03Speaker 2: Varian the idea that all of their complex trauma would
- 33:08Speaker 2: be resolved by removing healthy body parts. You know what,
- 33:12Speaker 2: woke is receding, and that's a huge victory. It's a
- 33:15Speaker 2: huge victory for kids, and it's a huge victory for sanity.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Amen to that. Don't forget we did the show as
- 33:20Speaker 1: a podcast as well, so make sure you download it
