- 1:41Speaker 1: turn at the time you lovey got to turn out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water go. Come, come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your face got it? Uh h? I show well, good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and all that. Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah, particularly this morning. Steve Harvey got
- 2:16Speaker 1: a radio show. Feel with nothing but joy and hope
- 2:20Speaker 1: about it too. You know, it's a great thing to
- 2:22Speaker 1: be able to wake up in the morning with with
- 2:25Speaker 1: peace in your heart and joy. Peace and joy is
- 2:28Speaker 1: is is immeasurable. It has a value attached to it,
- 2:33Speaker 1: and I have no idea what it is. It's invaluable.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It is worth so much more than than any amount
- 2:39Speaker 1: of money you can make. Peace and joy. Um. I
- 2:45Speaker 1: have not always had that. I have not always been
- 2:49Speaker 1: a peaceful person or a person who lived his life,
- 2:53Speaker 1: um in a joy spirit. It took an arrival at
- 2:57Speaker 1: this moment. Some people arrive sooner than others. Um. I
- 3:02Speaker 1: wish I had arrived at this point sooner, but I
- 3:06Speaker 1: think it was necessary for me to learn a few
- 3:08Speaker 1: things too. That's that's the amazing thing I've learned about
- 3:12Speaker 1: life is that instead of reflecting on your past uh
- 3:18Speaker 1: uh incidences and calling them failures, instead of focusing on
- 3:23Speaker 1: the negative and calling them bad times, UM, I look
- 3:28Speaker 1: at them now as experiences. I had to have those
- 3:32Speaker 1: experiences that were negative, that were good, positive, wrong, even.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I had to have all those experiences to become uh,
- 3:43Speaker 1: to shape who we are today. We all have to
- 3:48Speaker 1: have them. If you look back at all the negative
- 3:50Speaker 1: experiences you've had, all the things that you called failures,
- 3:55Speaker 1: all the businesses I started that went under, all of
- 3:59Speaker 1: the jobs I head that I was fired from, all
- 4:02Speaker 1: the shows that were canceled, all of the times I
- 4:06Speaker 1: thought I was gonna get something happened in my way
- 4:08Speaker 1: and turned out I didn't get it at all. When
- 4:10Speaker 1: you look at all of it, all of it, hopefully
- 4:15Speaker 1: along the way, what you have done as a person
- 4:17Speaker 1: is you've taken those negatives and those failures and you've
- 4:22Speaker 1: used them for what they actually are. They are experiences,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and they've now created in you an experienced person, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: you know, um, that is worth something. That's then it
- 4:36Speaker 1: becomes a positive. But what too many people do is
- 4:40Speaker 1: they let the negative things that have happened in their life.
- 4:44Speaker 1: They allow the failures that have happened in them lives
- 4:47Speaker 1: never to manifest themselves as experiences. And you sit up
- 4:51Speaker 1: there and you dwell on it, and you dwell on
- 4:53Speaker 1: it until you have this woe is me attitude. Stop
- 4:57Speaker 1: looking at it like that, y'all. You go through things
- 5:01Speaker 1: in order to become the person that you are today.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I'll tell you who you sometimes have to sit down
- 5:06Speaker 1: and talk to. Sometimes you are to sit down to
- 5:09Speaker 1: an inmate that really gets it, an inmate that says, man,
- 5:13Speaker 1: I've actually heard inmates say it to me and write
- 5:16Speaker 1: to me and and and they've said things like, man
- 5:19Speaker 1: coming to prison, save my life. Now, those of you
- 5:22Speaker 1: have never got how can he say a thing like that?
- 5:25Speaker 1: But but but some men, no, man, I was so
- 5:28Speaker 1: far out there that if I have stayed out there,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I wouldn't even be here today. This actually allowed me
- 5:33Speaker 1: to stop spend some time with myself and learn some
- 5:36Speaker 1: things about me. Now does that happen for everybody like that? No,
- 5:40Speaker 1: But here's a person who has taken an experience that
- 5:43Speaker 1: could be considered a failure or negative and turning it
- 5:46Speaker 1: into a positive and using it to enrich their lives.
- 5:50Speaker 1: You can do it no matter what your set of
- 5:52Speaker 1: circumstances is. I recommend to everybody that you try changing
- 5:56Speaker 1: your outlook in order to change your outcome. Everything that
- 6:00Speaker 1: happens to you that's negative or you consider a failure
- 6:03Speaker 1: their experiences. You've got to go through these things in
- 6:06Speaker 1: order to have the knowledge that you have today. So
- 6:08Speaker 1: I wish that I had come to this arrival that
- 6:12Speaker 1: I mean now, this place of peace and joy. But
- 6:15Speaker 1: then guess what, I would not know what I know.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I could not share some of the things that I'm
- 6:21Speaker 1: able to share if I had not gone through some
- 6:23Speaker 1: of them. And sometimes that's the purpose of them, is
- 6:26Speaker 1: to teach you a lesson because you know, God has
- 6:29Speaker 1: a plan for you, He really really does. And eventually
- 6:32Speaker 1: he can use you no matter how old you are,
- 6:35Speaker 1: and he can use you no matter how young you are.
- 6:38Speaker 1: If you just say okay, I'm ready to hear your plan.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I've tried mine. Mine ain't worked out. Mine was not
- 6:44Speaker 1: a good plan. What's your plan for me? God, what
- 6:48Speaker 1: do you want me to do? That's why I say
- 6:50Speaker 1: every day Steve already got radio show, y'all, because Man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: I ain't see it coming. I didn't see that coming.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I ain't see this book coming. I ain't seen I
- 6:58Speaker 1: ain't seen half of the amazing things that are happened
- 7:01Speaker 1: to me. I didn't plan them. I was sitting there, man,
- 7:05Speaker 1: asking God for some direction. And then I got smart
- 7:09Speaker 1: enough to stay watchful, be a hard worker now because
- 7:12Speaker 1: faith with our works is there and it came. And
- 7:15Speaker 1: I remind you of this. God has given all of
- 7:17Speaker 1: you a gift. Every last one of you listening has
- 7:20Speaker 1: a gift. God has never created a soul that he
- 7:23Speaker 1: did not provide a gift to. God gives everyone a gift,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and a gift is not just singing, rapping entertainment. The
- 7:32Speaker 1: richer gifts are much more than that. Teachers are gifted
- 7:36Speaker 1: people who really have the gift of sharing information. That's
- 7:39Speaker 1: a gift, you know, um, And in that you can
- 7:43Speaker 1: become great, you know. Uh. A lot of people think
- 7:49Speaker 1: that successful and greatness is the same thing. Cornell West
- 7:53Speaker 1: said it at my daughter's graduation. He was a spokesperson.
- 7:56Speaker 1: He said something so pointed, he said, don't ever confuse
- 7:59Speaker 1: succe sessed with greatness. The two have nothing to do
- 8:03Speaker 1: with each other. See, people determine success about money and
- 8:07Speaker 1: fame and all this here, but greatness. Greatness ain't got
- 8:11Speaker 1: nothing to do with your money. It ain't got nothing
- 8:13Speaker 1: to do with your fame. It's how you conduct your life.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Is how meaningful and significant you become in your community,
- 8:20Speaker 1: at your church, on your job, to the Cub Scout
- 8:24Speaker 1: unit that you run, to the little girls lives that
- 8:27Speaker 1: you change, that that little center in the hood where
- 8:30Speaker 1: you just one place of hope to so many people
- 8:33Speaker 1: and they come back. And I used example of Lou
- 8:35Speaker 1: Dazler who passed away in l A. Who had the
- 8:38Speaker 1: Boys and Girls Challenges Club out in l A. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: he wasn't a rich man at all. And if you
- 8:43Speaker 1: walk by and you wouldn't even know who he was.
- 8:45Speaker 1: But if you look at all the people who have
- 8:47Speaker 1: gone on to become politicians, who have going on to
- 8:51Speaker 1: become CEO's, who have gone on to become athletes, that
- 8:54Speaker 1: have passed through this man's small building in the hood
- 8:57Speaker 1: in l A. He was great, and all of you
- 9:02Speaker 1: have greatness in you at something. It's just you got
- 9:07Speaker 1: to submit yourself to God and say, Okay, what was
- 9:09Speaker 1: your planing for me? Certainly it wasn't to become an inmate.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Certainly it wasn't to become a drug dealer. Certainly it
- 9:16Speaker 1: wasn't to become a womanizer. Certainly it wasn't to become
- 9:19Speaker 1: a stripper. Certainly God didn't create you for this. He
- 9:23Speaker 1: had a plan for you. He just waiting on you
- 9:26Speaker 1: to ask him what it is. And when you're praying
- 9:29Speaker 1: about it, that's when the change comes in your life
- 9:32Speaker 1: that you could open up yourself and submit yourself and say, Hey, God,
- 9:35Speaker 1: what is this for me? And you ain't got to
- 9:37Speaker 1: be perfect, because please know I ain't. I ain't even close.
- 9:41Speaker 1: But guess what what they got to do? With you
- 9:43Speaker 1: loving God and God loving you? Trust me? Man. Prayer
- 9:46Speaker 1: changes things. I said all the time. But when you
- 9:48Speaker 1: see people become successful or great that somebody praying somewhere
- 9:52Speaker 1: may not even be them. Maybe it's their mama. You know.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I think of Tiger Woods and all the greatness he's accomplished.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You know, they always talk about his father and all
- 10:01Speaker 1: this here somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods. I got
- 10:05Speaker 1: cash money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mom is a
- 10:08Speaker 1: praying woman or something. My mother was. She prayed me
- 10:11Speaker 1: into this place because she should call me all the time,
- 10:14Speaker 1: praying for your boy. You know what, No, you know
- 10:17Speaker 1: you can always come here and get yourself some neat
- 10:19Speaker 1: and your daddy has said you can come in here.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Always need a place to sleep, you can come here.
- 10:24Speaker 1: She was always praying for me. And prayer changes things.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It really does. Try it today. It can change you.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It has changed millions of people. Open up yourself to
- 10:35Speaker 1: the greatness that's in you because God is giving you
- 10:37Speaker 1: a gift. Now the fact that you ain't using it.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Who fought you think that is? I'm just telling you
- 10:43Speaker 1: you got one. And if you start praying about it,
- 10:46Speaker 1: it all manifest itself and you can become one of
- 10:49Speaker 1: two things, successful or great or both. You can make
- 10:56Speaker 1: the decision. Today show, I need everybody's attention, please. This
- 11:04Speaker 1: is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Good morning world, hallelujah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: It's a great day. What's up Charley, Hey, good morning
- 11:12Speaker 1: Steve calling for rel Hey, good morning Steve, Hey crew,
- 11:16Speaker 1: good morning up. What's a boy that's uping? Ain't nothing,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I got time A big building in the building. Yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 1: feeling pretty good today. Feeling good? Yeah? What you shoot
- 11:37Speaker 1: at seven y eight? Yesterday? Nice shooting seven day? Shot
- 11:40Speaker 1: eighty eight? Got an take that all day. I'll take
- 11:44Speaker 1: that though, man. You know for the way I play,
- 11:48Speaker 1: got good figure my drive out on the back glad.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I can't fit it fall, but I keep it in
- 11:52Speaker 1: the short grass. So oh that's good. That helps me.
- 11:57Speaker 1: What was your best score? What was your best score?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Best score ever? One? Oh, okay, that's not bad. I
- 12:04Speaker 1: know it's the lower the better. Actually, one time almost
- 12:10Speaker 1: broke eighty. Now I almost shot at seventy nine. Mm hmm.
- 12:15Speaker 1: It's really crazy. Man. What's yours? Tommy? Good? That's your
- 12:22Speaker 1: best score ever? That's it? And you don't play right now?
- 12:28Speaker 1: That's well. Um. Compared it to like Tiger with his scores,
- 12:37Speaker 1: because I don't I don't know the numbers. He shoots
- 12:41Speaker 1: in the sixties. See, that's what I needed. Like that
- 12:44Speaker 1: has and has hit the fifties before your par Is
- 12:48Speaker 1: seventy two par means if you step up to a
- 12:52Speaker 1: hole and the plaque says four hundred and thirty yards
- 12:55Speaker 1: par four. What they're saying is, in four attempts, you
- 13:00Speaker 1: should be in the whole from four hundred and thirty
- 13:03Speaker 1: yards away. Up. That's a lot difficult. It's a hard
- 13:09Speaker 1: game for the first year. If you hit a driver
- 13:15Speaker 1: two hundred and thirty yards your second shot in its
- 13:19Speaker 1: two hundred. There ain't a lot of people can hit
- 13:21Speaker 1: a golf ball two hundred yards straight. So that's the problem.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And it doesn't it does. It depend on how much
- 13:31Speaker 1: practice you've had and all that, and you could just
- 13:33Speaker 1: have a good day. Yeah, that's what it does, Okay,
- 13:40Speaker 1: because even this is not a game where you just
- 13:42Speaker 1: pick up clubs and you just shoot a good score.
- 13:45Speaker 1: That right, right? Yeah? Yeah, because yeah, that's what you
- 13:49Speaker 1: have thought about playing golf. Yeah, we took lessons, Carlin,
- 13:53Speaker 1: I took lessons together. I took lessons when I lived
- 13:55Speaker 1: in Chicago. Yeah, we took a lesson. You don't remember.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You took one and I took one together. I've taken
- 14:03Speaker 1: him separately. Yeah, why are you apologone? Yeah, yeah, we
- 14:13Speaker 1: knew the same thing you knew before you took nothing
- 14:20Speaker 1: it was fun though. It was. I mean, I see
- 14:23Speaker 1: why you like the sport though, why you guys because
- 14:25Speaker 1: it was fun. It's addictive, for sure, it is, I
- 14:31Speaker 1: get it, all right. Coming up at thirty two after
- 14:34Speaker 1: the hour, President Trump falls eleven spots on the Forbes
- 14:39Speaker 1: Richest List. We'll talk about that right after this at
- 14:42Speaker 1: thirty two after you're listening to all right. You know,
- 14:48Speaker 1: we've all heard the saying that the rich get richer. Well,
- 14:50Speaker 1: American billionaires maybe getting richer, but America's billionaire president is not.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Forbes released its annual ranking of the four hundred richest
- 14:59Speaker 1: p fill in the US now. While the average list
- 15:02Speaker 1: members net worth rose by six hundred million over the
- 15:06Speaker 1: past year, six hundred million over the past year, one
- 15:11Speaker 1: more time, we're not doing something right here, six hundred
- 15:14Speaker 1: million over the past year, Donald Trump's remained flat at
- 15:18Speaker 1: an estimated three point one billion with a B. Trump
- 15:23Speaker 1: is now the two hundred and fifty ninth richest person
- 15:26Speaker 1: in the world in America, should say, by our account,
- 15:30Speaker 1: down eleven spots on the ranking since last year. That
- 15:34Speaker 1: makes sense to me because he's the president now, so
- 15:37Speaker 1: he's definitely not going to get paid as much right,
- 15:40Speaker 1: and um, yeah, you know what you can do business
- 15:46Speaker 1: wise right now? So limited. Yeah, his family can, but
- 15:49Speaker 1: he can't write. We don't think he's doing it, and
- 15:52Speaker 1: just we're gonna see it in act like he's not
- 15:55Speaker 1: doing it. Look at the Texas we're sit in act
- 15:59Speaker 1: like a no big that's still running in somebody else's
- 16:01Speaker 1: name and the money go here. We're gonna see here
- 16:03Speaker 1: and act like he he not doing that. Y'all talked
- 16:07Speaker 1: about golfing. Now they say his golf courses took ahead
- 16:11Speaker 1: and his properties and hotels because of him being the president.
- 16:15Speaker 1: People don't like his policy. Yeah. Uh, this is my
- 16:21Speaker 1: understanding of for talking with so many people about this,
- 16:25Speaker 1: it's to my understanding that's explained to me by a
- 16:28Speaker 1: lot of people. For example, the best golf destination uh
- 16:36Speaker 1: is one of his. And he took durraw He bought
- 16:40Speaker 1: Durrale golf course and changed it to Trump International. M
- 16:47Speaker 1: you know it's Trump in the national Durrell. They kept
- 16:49Speaker 1: Durrelling there. Somebody put all this money into it. But
- 16:54Speaker 1: he didn't use his money. He raised the money. He
- 16:57Speaker 1: licenses out his name. It's just he doesn't own him.
- 17:03Speaker 1: He just licensed his name, and he gets a fee
- 17:08Speaker 1: for licensing his name on a lot of properties. Some
- 17:14Speaker 1: he might own, but for the most part it's a
- 17:16Speaker 1: licensing agreement, which is very lucrative, you know, and then
- 17:21Speaker 1: some properties he's actually helped put the funding together to
- 17:25Speaker 1: raise to turn him into properties. I don't know how
- 17:28Speaker 1: many hotels that would include, or how many of the
- 17:30Speaker 1: golf courses is actually his investment or his group that
- 17:35Speaker 1: bought it. But Durrell, he turned Arold completely around, not him,
- 17:40Speaker 1: but the people who run it. But he can't do
- 17:42Speaker 1: that now that he's president. No, he has to stay
- 17:45Speaker 1: away from that. But I mean, you know, look, I
- 17:47Speaker 1: mean if his fee comes in, I'm pretty sure he
- 17:51Speaker 1: can collect a feel well, um, yeah, that's anyway. It's
- 17:58Speaker 1: the third consecutive year that down Trump has fallen in
- 18:01Speaker 1: the ranks. He remains wealthier than Ted Turner and Oprah,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but due to installed fortune. This year, the president was
- 18:07Speaker 1: passed on the ranks by twenty seven people. Now Number
- 18:11Speaker 1: one is still Jeff Bezos, right, I'm sure from Amazon, right, yeah, yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: he got so much more. Yeah, I want you to understand,
- 18:20Speaker 1: you're just talking about are you just talking about people
- 18:23Speaker 1: who can who report taxes. Oh, the people in this
- 18:32Speaker 1: list would be gone if you start counting them. Well,
- 18:34Speaker 1: this is America's, yeah, just America's. I'm just saying, Oh,
- 18:40Speaker 1: it would be a different list. Listen, listen to me.
- 18:43Speaker 1: You'd have so many ox and yourhard that list would
- 18:49Speaker 1: be packed. They got some other kind of money over there,
- 18:52Speaker 1: my lord, they do well, yeah, all that oil money
- 18:56Speaker 1: and stuff. Yeah, I ain't complaining, like I Trump spot.
- 19:00Speaker 1: They let them spatch down. They could plug me in
- 19:03Speaker 1: that mall. I'll be I'll be way happy. And here
- 19:05Speaker 1: two d and fifty ninth richest person in America. You're
- 19:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Here about that, good man? All right? Point
- 19:17Speaker 1: one billion is nothing to sneeze at. Nothing, Yeah, but
- 19:23Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos is like, what a hundred and fifty billion
- 19:26Speaker 1: or something? What do you use? I know everything? This
- 19:30Speaker 1: is just stupid money at that point. If you're still
- 19:34Speaker 1: working towards your your first billion, right, I ain't got
- 19:37Speaker 1: no beauty, No, I'm just saying, but you're working towards that, yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 1: unefitted billion. Do you know the people you're gonna see
- 19:46Speaker 1: in my house? Do you know what's around my pool?
- 19:51Speaker 1: What are you saying, Tommy I'm saying it right now.
- 19:56Speaker 1: What are you saying. I'm saying, my my wife and
- 20:00Speaker 1: kids from to see some people they ain't never seen before.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Why are you gonna fake your death if you become
- 20:08Speaker 1: a billionaire too? Coming down the slide on the pool? What?
- 20:14Speaker 1: Why do you continuously get yourself in stupid stuff like this?
- 20:19Speaker 1: Why do you say these things out of your mouth? Why?
- 20:24Speaker 1: But why can't you just be regular? He gonna be real?
- 20:34Speaker 1: You mean to tell me everybody got a house Keith? Tommy, Well,
- 20:39Speaker 1: you know what it's. It's something. It goes back to
- 20:42Speaker 1: what you said before, Steve. Being rich makes you more
- 20:45Speaker 1: of who you really are, that's what you're saying, right,
- 20:48Speaker 1: He's gonna be real all the time. Yeah, you're saying
- 20:51Speaker 1: Tommy's magnifies when my nephew gets his first twenty five
- 20:59Speaker 1: Me you, I'm telling you right now, we're not going
- 21:04Speaker 1: to be able to talk to him. What's he gonna do? This? Boy?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Right here in the show, here's whole natural behind. Well,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I believe that because he's always talking about being neckd.
- 21:16Speaker 1: So have you met Pocahunt? He's here right out there
- 21:26Speaker 1: about the pool. Who else is gonna be there? What ah, Well,
- 21:33Speaker 1: you know, Hollie, you know she's gonna be lots of
- 21:36Speaker 1: Hawaiian boy called hell. You don'n't understand. All right, we
- 21:39Speaker 1: gotta go. We might have to Tommy with million seeing
- 21:47Speaker 1: and debauchery. Yes, all right, speaking of that frank phone
- 21:52Speaker 1: called coming up next with the nephew right after this,
- 21:56Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 22:00Speaker 1: top of the hour. We're gonna talk about the presidential
- 22:03Speaker 1: alert yesterday that everyone got if they had a smartphone.
- 22:06Speaker 1: We'll talk about that. Uh. If we get a chance
- 22:10Speaker 1: to Kanye gave his wife Kim a million dollars since
- 22:13Speaker 1: we were talking about money earlier, that'll be an entertainment news.
- 22:17Speaker 1: But right now it is time for the nephew to
- 22:19Speaker 1: run that prank back. What you got nef your husband's prescription?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Your husband's prescription? Hello? Hello, how you doing this? Is
- 22:30Speaker 1: uh pharmacy? My name is Brian on the tech here?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Uh is Mr Donovan? Donovan? Is he available? Now? What
- 22:39Speaker 1: can I help you? Live? Well, he's he dropped his
- 22:41Speaker 1: prescription off about an hour ago. I wanted to we
- 22:43Speaker 1: wanted to call let you guys know that the prescription
- 22:46Speaker 1: is ready prescription for well, he um. He dropped off
- 22:50Speaker 1: a prescription. I'm assuming he must have looked like the
- 22:52Speaker 1: doctor just wrote this prescription today, so I'm assuming he
- 22:56Speaker 1: um seems like he would probably need this pretty soon.
- 22:59Speaker 1: So I wanted to let you guys who know it's ready? Okay?
- 23:01Speaker 1: And what exactly did he get a prescription for? Um?
- 23:04Speaker 1: It's a Maxa selling, a Maxa selling, a Marxa selling
- 23:09Speaker 1: when you've got him at least fifteen tablets if he
- 23:12Speaker 1: could take two tablets a day. Right, My name is Brian. Yes,
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm the technician here at the pharmacy. Okay, well let
- 23:21Speaker 1: me okay, Donovan, that's my husband. Let me make sure
- 23:24Speaker 1: you have the right Donovan, because well let me can
- 23:27Speaker 1: we take the birthdays? Are you allowed to do that
- 23:29Speaker 1: with me? Definitely? Definitely? It's um? Is that correct? Yes? Okay?
- 23:35Speaker 1: So what exactly is a Maxa selling for Manxa selling?
- 23:38Speaker 1: Was an antibiotic, ma'am? So any type of small infections
- 23:43Speaker 1: of some sort, diseases or whatever, is it pretty much
- 23:46Speaker 1: cures it? So are you telling me this? Nasty? Then
- 23:51Speaker 1: got something and winning got it on my first off.
- 23:54Speaker 1: He wanted to see the doctor and got a prescription
- 23:56Speaker 1: on the interest and he wanted got something, you know,
- 24:00Speaker 1: I would you know what that, Brian. I'm coming down there.

- 24:04Speaker 1: if people want that medicine, he'll check him with me
- 24:06Speaker 1: at my counter, because I gotta check. And he don't
- 24:09Speaker 1: wrote that, not cast. I'm gonna beat the hell out
- 24:11Speaker 1: just he do not know, he does not even you
- 24:15Speaker 1: know what we brought in a new year. I'm sorry,
- 24:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you're you're Mr. What what? What can I
- 24:21Speaker 1: call you by your first name? What's your name? No communist?
- 24:24Speaker 1: That's fine, just communist? No communist? Okay. Uh. First of all,
- 24:30Speaker 1: I want to apologize. I had no idea that you
- 24:32Speaker 1: were not aware of the actual prescription that he's that
- 24:35Speaker 1: we've just filed for him, you know, just just all
- 24:38Speaker 1: a personal note. I'm just curious. Is there a possibility
- 24:41Speaker 1: maybe maybe you could have given it to him? Brian Noble,
- 24:46Speaker 1: you didn't you have lost so the mom Now, first off,
- 24:48Speaker 1: you don't call my phone. First, I've know you. I'm
- 24:50Speaker 1: glad you called my phone to tell me it's my interns,
- 24:54Speaker 1: that's why. And then you're gonna acuse me of giving
- 24:56Speaker 1: that this are you going him? Don't you? And in
- 25:00Speaker 1: your life call somebody's phone and this is a courte

- 25:24Speaker 1: was you know, I'm not trying to be unprofessional. I
- 25:27Speaker 1: was just asking a personal question. I should not have

- 25:34Speaker 1: should we expect someone to pick up the prescription? And
- 25:36Speaker 1: I just told you I'm gonna be taking up I'm

- 27:30Speaker 1: You ain't right, you won't. I got one more thing
- 27:32Speaker 1: to ask. You know what is the baddest and I
- 27:34Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the late Steve Love
- 27:38Speaker 1: Morning Show? Your husband prescription? You know I don't want
- 27:44Speaker 1: to be involved in this any day though, clean that

- 29:34Speaker 1: these foods coming to town, getting ready, eating the roster,
- 29:37Speaker 1: to come around once a year, being getting together. I
- 29:47Speaker 1: think that's good though. You know what's good because you
- 29:49Speaker 1: guys all work together on the show. I think you
- 29:52Speaker 1: could put Savannah get your money together? Can we come?
- 29:58Speaker 1: We're doing that? Well? Well you else wanted? Well he
- 30:03Speaker 1: started in Detroit, and Junior, you can't play with Detroit.

- 30:21Speaker 1: well we'll we'll let you know when it's when the
- 30:24Speaker 1: tour starts. Okay, alright, we'll sign out. All right. Listen, guys,
- 30:30Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, we're gonna
- 30:33Speaker 1: talk about this presidential alert that everybody got, this emergency
- 30:36Speaker 1: alert thing, so we'll talk about that if you have
- 30:38Speaker 1: a smartphone. And then Kanye gave his wife Kim a
- 30:42Speaker 1: million dollars. If we have time, we'll get into that
- 30:44Speaker 1: and entertainment news all that's coming up at the top
- 30:47Speaker 1: of the hour. Right after this. You're listening to the
- 30:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So yesterday your cell phone,
- 30:56Speaker 1: it probably buzzed and beeped it loudly. Uh an to
- 31:00Speaker 1: eighteen pm Eastern time. I think everybody experienced that the
- 31:04Speaker 1: FED sent out a presidential alert. The screen said, this
- 31:08Speaker 1: is a test of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System.
- 31:12Speaker 1: No action is needed. So if you heard the buzz
- 31:15Speaker 1: you probably grabbed your phone and thought you had to
- 31:17Speaker 1: do something. No, it's scared, yeah, yeah, well yeah, but
- 31:24Speaker 1: I was wow yeah yeah. Okay, well, this is a
- 31:28Speaker 1: test of the National Wireless Emergency Alert system, Like it said,
- 31:31Speaker 1: no action is needed, and The test went over poorly
- 31:34Speaker 1: on social media. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel tweeted, did anybody get
- 31:38Speaker 1: this witch hunt? Crooked Hillary? No collusion, confirmed caval Kavanaugh
- 31:43Speaker 1: hashtag make America Great Again? M A G A. But
- 31:51Speaker 1: just because it was Presidential Alert, everybody thought it was
- 31:53Speaker 1: something from Donald Trump. Um. The Presidential Alert was the
- 31:56Speaker 1: first nationwide test of the system. It was built by
- 31:59Speaker 1: the federal government and cell phone carriers to warn us
- 32:03Speaker 1: of an emergency like a terror attack, for instance, or
- 32:07Speaker 1: a widespread disaster. So if you're worried about your privacy,
- 32:11Speaker 1: the f c C says it does not collect the
- 32:13Speaker 1: data based on the test. Yeah, so they say, right
- 32:18Speaker 1: that if you want to Uh no, no sir, no sir.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It came from the government, so I doubt it. And
- 32:25Speaker 1: that's why it's hard for people to believe that they
- 32:28Speaker 1: don't collect your data. Uh yeah, Why would you want
- 32:32Speaker 1: to block it, though? Tom? Yeah, why would want to
- 32:34Speaker 1: block something? And then you know a terror tack going on?
- 32:39Speaker 1: If this want happened, I don't remember getting it on.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I don't think I got it. You didn't get it
- 32:46Speaker 1: well if you weren't near a cell phone tower. A
- 32:48Speaker 1: lot of people didn't. Yeah, that's true. Well I got it.
- 32:55Speaker 1: You've got eight hundred messages. You ain't chicken. You probably
- 32:59Speaker 1: got it. I don't see no knowing him. Well we
- 33:07Speaker 1: get your nephew. Can't call you and tell you if
- 33:10Speaker 1: we get one, because he's gonna block is apparently all much?
- 33:19Speaker 1: Did you move around? Why have youbody running where? They got? Alright?
- 33:34Speaker 1: And Kanye and his dad really had a great time.
- 33:37Speaker 1: They bugged out this weekend. I mean literally. Kanye and
- 33:40Speaker 1: his dad, ray West, celebrated Easy Seniors Health with the
- 33:44Speaker 1: post on Instagram. After getting the good news that ray
- 33:47Speaker 1: West cancer is in remission. The father and son toasted
- 33:51Speaker 1: to the recovery by um chowing down on creepy crawlers.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Uh really, creepy callers. Creepy Crawley's. Yeah. The photo post
- 34:00Speaker 1: it on the gram shows what looks like a plate
- 34:02Speaker 1: of saute crickets with the caption overcome fear. I'm not afraid.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I'm just not gonna eat him. That's all. My dad
- 34:13Speaker 1: and I are going to eat this plate of bugs
- 34:15Speaker 1: to celebrate him beating cancer. Mm hmm, okay, no more fear. Cricket.
- 34:24Speaker 1: They want to go to Vegas and nothing. Yeah, I
- 34:27Speaker 1: don't get this. They want to go to Vegas. He
- 34:34Speaker 1: got cricket money, He got no money. But really, we
- 34:38Speaker 1: don't have time to get to that one. But if
- 34:40Speaker 1: we do, we'll come back to it a little later.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you about Kanye giving Kim a million dollars.
- 34:47Speaker 1: But it is time now to get the latest on
- 34:49Speaker 1: the police officer Steve that were shot in South Carolina yesterday.
- 34:52Speaker 1: What a sad story. Uh So let's get to the headlines, please,
- 34:56Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne trip, thank you very much, everybody.
- 35:01Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news, and here we go.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Let's start out, of course, with what's going on in
- 35:06Speaker 1: the White House and around the White House, of course,
- 35:08Speaker 1: about this U Scotus or Supreme Court nomination. According to
- 35:13Speaker 1: the Wall Street Journal, the White House says that the
- 35:15Speaker 1: FBI has found no corroboration of sexual assault allegations against
- 35:19Speaker 1: Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. That's what the White House says,
- 35:22Speaker 1: all one. Senators now get to look at the FBI
- 35:24Speaker 1: report behind closed doors, though the press does not get
- 35:28Speaker 1: to look at it, and then a procedural confirmation vote
- 35:30Speaker 1: is set for tomorrow with a final vote on Kavanaugh's
- 35:33Speaker 1: nomination could take place on Saturday. Meanwhile, though, Whoopie Goldberg
- 35:37Speaker 1: is joining groups of women traveling to Washington c Ford today. Uh.
- 35:41Speaker 1: They if they're calling it a rally, they're calling it
- 35:43Speaker 1: the hashtag canceled Kavanaugh rally. I don't know what good
- 35:47Speaker 1: they'll do at this point. Critics of the FBI reports
- 35:50Speaker 1: point out that its scope was extremely limited, that they
- 35:52Speaker 1: never even spoke to Kavanaugh or Dr Christine Ford or
- 35:56Speaker 1: the twenty or so people Dr Ford listed for them
- 35:58Speaker 1: to talk to. Again, the public has to rely now
- 36:01Speaker 1: on what the politicians say is in that FBI report. Meanwhile,
- 36:05Speaker 1: some of his own parties still think the way that
- 36:07Speaker 1: the President described Dr Christine Blassie Ford's charges went a
- 36:10Speaker 1: little too far. How did you get home? I don't
- 36:12Speaker 1: remember how did you get there? I don't remember. Where
- 36:14Speaker 1: is the place. I don't remember. How many years ago
- 36:17Speaker 1: was it? I don't know you have. Republican Senator Lisa
- 36:20Speaker 1: Murkowski of Alaska says Trump's comment was inappropriate and unacceptable
- 36:24Speaker 1: and that it could sway her vote. Susan Collins May
- 36:26Speaker 1: of another Republican tulcin and the Trump's joke was just
- 36:29Speaker 1: playing wrong. She didn't give any indications though, about her
- 36:32Speaker 1: vote changing or anything. The trial of the white Chicago
- 36:35Speaker 1: cop acused murdering a seventeen year old black teenager four
- 36:37Speaker 1: years ago, shooting him sixteen times winding down. Jason Van
- 36:41Speaker 1: Dyke took the stand this week and at times blubbered
- 36:44Speaker 1: his way through his testimony, claiming that he feared for
- 36:46Speaker 1: his life and insisting that Lakwan was waving a knife
- 36:49Speaker 1: around and that's why he shot him. On cross examination, though,
- 36:52Speaker 1: prosecutors asked Van Dyke if he could point out any
- 36:54Speaker 1: part of the police dash cam video that corresponded to
- 36:58Speaker 1: his claims. He couldn't. The defense wrapped up its case yesterday.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Both sides liver closing arguments today before the case goes
- 37:05Speaker 1: to the jury. Seventh South Carolina police officers shot yesterday,
- 37:09Speaker 1: one fatally in a confrontation with a man who held
- 37:11Speaker 1: children hostage as he fired on them. The incidant took
- 37:14Speaker 1: place in an upscale neighborhood outside of Florence, South Carolina.
- 37:18Speaker 1: They say the suspect was taken into custody after two
- 37:20Speaker 1: hours standoff. The children were not hurt. First Lady Milani A.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Trump during the African continent. Yesterday she was taken to
- 37:27Speaker 1: the slave castle in Ghana, the dungeons that I saw.
- 37:30Speaker 1: It's really something that people see and experience and what
- 37:37Speaker 1: happened so many years ago. It's a video traction the
- 37:42Speaker 1: first place to visit Kenya, Malawi and Egypt. Here's up
- 37:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Nation to find out if Uncle Steve smart
- 37:47Speaker 1: than his nephew. I know you want to know. We'll
- 37:48Speaker 1: be back twenty minutes after the hour and a Steve
- 37:50Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Harvey Show today. In
- 37:56Speaker 1: politics at eight a m. Eastern today, editors will start
- 38:01Speaker 1: reading the FBI investigation report. Okay, uh, it's done. It's
- 38:06Speaker 1: going to the senators now, and we probably will never
- 38:08Speaker 1: know what's in that report because they don't plan to
- 38:10Speaker 1: let us know. But uh, you know, this is a
- 38:13Speaker 1: report on Supreme Court UH Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh. CNN
- 38:18Speaker 1: is reported that the FBI has an interviewed Kavanaugh or
- 38:21Speaker 1: Dr Blasi Ford. Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grasley is expected
- 38:26Speaker 1: to read the summaries first, followed by top Democrat on
- 38:29Speaker 1: the committee. That would be Senator Diane finestand was finestein
- 38:33Speaker 1: of California. The FBI interviewed more people on Wednesday as
- 38:37Speaker 1: part of its investigation. Uh, this, of course is stemming
- 38:41Speaker 1: from the sexual assault and sexual misconduct charges levied against Kavanaugh.
- 38:46Speaker 1: We'll we'll be going back through his calendar again. I
- 38:51Speaker 1: think it's done after this. They'll probably never revisit this
- 38:55Speaker 1: again once it goes to the Senate floor. Was crazy
- 38:59Speaker 1: for us as citizens of this country. We have no
- 39:05Speaker 1: say so in this, No not in this. We don't
- 39:09Speaker 1: have a vote, nothing, nothing protest that you could do
- 39:14Speaker 1: what you wanna do unless those senators and congressmen put
- 39:18Speaker 1: him in or keep him out. That's who makes a decision,
- 39:22Speaker 1: purely and simple. Now, here's the one thing we can do, though,
- 39:27Speaker 1: if they delay this any longer to further the investigation
- 39:31Speaker 1: that the FBI is doing right now, if they make
- 39:35Speaker 1: it last any longer because they find some other things
- 39:38Speaker 1: they want to look into, what we can do is
- 39:41Speaker 1: vote in these dog on mere terms. And if you
- 39:46Speaker 1: vote in the mere terms, then you will have a
- 39:50Speaker 1: say so in who the next Supreme Court justice could be.
- 39:54Speaker 1: You will have a say so in terms of policy
- 39:58Speaker 1: because you will have someone in the office. There's more
- 40:01Speaker 1: representative of you and your views. We have got to vote.
- 40:06Speaker 1: November is November six, November six. We got to get
- 40:10Speaker 1: at it, man. We have to vote. We have to
- 40:13Speaker 1: register to vote. We cannot be complacent and we cannot
- 40:17Speaker 1: sit here and go what the heir are they doing?
- 40:19Speaker 1: We can stop some of this if we vote. That's right,
- 40:23Speaker 1: And it doesn't take a long time to vote. If
- 40:25Speaker 1: you've never if you've never voted, it doesn't take a
- 40:28Speaker 1: long time. You can absentee vote, you can there are
- 40:30Speaker 1: a lot of things that you can do. Go ahead
- 40:32Speaker 1: and hurry up and register if you haven't registered, if
- 40:35Speaker 1: you've moved or something like that. We have to show
- 40:38Speaker 1: up at this season. We have to send a message yesterday.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Can I tell you something? It actually feels good when
- 40:43Speaker 1: you vote. Yeah, sense of accomplishment, like you did your
- 40:46Speaker 1: civic duty. You know, you feel proud of that moment. Absolutely. Okay, Well, um,
- 40:53Speaker 1: we're gonna move on now and it is time to
- 40:55Speaker 1: play our favorite game. It's stressful, but it is our
- 40:58Speaker 1: favorite game. Are you smarter the nephew Tommy? That's coming

- 54:12Speaker 1: Have you ever just sat in there and just didn't
- 54:14Speaker 1: get up? Just yeah? I went on the set that

- 55:37Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here it is.
- 55:39Speaker 1: It's the Strawberry letter subject. I'm losing my fine and
- 55:45Speaker 1: flirty wife. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I've been married for close
- 55:49Speaker 1: to eight years, and over the weekend, my wife told
- 55:52Speaker 1: me that she is not in love with me anymore.
- 55:55Speaker 1: I'm a big guy and my wife used to be
- 55:58Speaker 1: a big girl. But she reads. And Lee had cosmetic
- 56:01Speaker 1: surgery to fix a few issues she was having. Now
- 56:05Speaker 1: she thinks she's God's gift to the world. She's been
- 56:08Speaker 1: posting all kinds of sexy pictures on Facebook, and when
- 56:12Speaker 1: random men comment on her pictures, she writes back to them.
- 56:16Speaker 1: It's like she craves the attention. I went through her
- 56:20Speaker 1: private direct messages on Facebook and found out that she
- 56:23Speaker 1: has been having several intimate conversations with different guys. She
- 56:28Speaker 1: even met up with one of the guys, but it
- 56:31Speaker 1: looks like nothing happened between them. Like I said, I'm
- 56:35Speaker 1: a big guy and I was a big guy when
- 56:37Speaker 1: my wife when we got married. When I met my wife,
- 56:40Speaker 1: and when we got married, everything in our marriage seemed
- 56:43Speaker 1: to change once she had the weight loss surgery. She's
- 56:47Speaker 1: really feeling herself and forgetting about the marriage, vows. Um,
- 56:51Speaker 1: I still love this woman, and I praise her and
- 56:54Speaker 1: tell her how great she looks, but it's not enough.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I love her, but I'm afraid of losing her to
- 57:00Speaker 1: a man that's in better physical shape than I am.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Please give me some advice so I won't lose my wife. Well,
- 57:09Speaker 1: it kind of looks like you've lost her to a
- 57:11Speaker 1: degree already. Um. You know, I'm really sorry that you're
- 57:16Speaker 1: going through this. I really am. Your wife is wrong,
- 57:19Speaker 1: she's out of line. Uh, and not to mention being
- 57:22Speaker 1: very disrespectful to you right now. Um for her to
- 57:26Speaker 1: say she's not in love with you anymore? Uh? Why
- 57:29Speaker 1: because you're still a big guy and she's lost weight
- 57:32Speaker 1: or has this been you know, happening for a while.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Now she's she's stripping because she lost the weight she
- 57:38Speaker 1: had the surgery and now, yeah, you're right, she is
- 57:40Speaker 1: feeling herself, uh and thinking she's God's give to the world. Um,
- 57:45Speaker 1: you know, what can you do? Please? Give me some
- 57:47Speaker 1: advice so that I won't lose my wife. You guys
- 57:50Speaker 1: were both big when when you got together. I mean,
- 57:54Speaker 1: how's your health, how's everything? She went and got surgery
- 57:57Speaker 1: and everything. Why don't you consider that? You don't have to,
- 58:02Speaker 1: I'm not saying it, but why don't you consider that
- 58:04Speaker 1: on your own getting surgery and losing the weight and
- 58:07Speaker 1: going to the gym and you know, changing your eating
- 58:09Speaker 1: habits and things like that. Maybe it's a good thing.
- 58:12Speaker 1: You know, she's not going about it the right way,
- 58:15Speaker 1: but but it could be a good thing for you
- 58:17Speaker 1: and your health and everything, and you'll feel better about yourself,
- 58:20Speaker 1: you know, because because a lot of times when you
- 58:23Speaker 1: start feeling good about yourself, especially if you haven't in
- 58:26Speaker 1: a long long time, you know, you can react this way.
- 58:29Speaker 1: I think your your your wife is just you know,
- 58:32Speaker 1: so crazy with this. She's not in love with you anymore.
- 58:36Speaker 1: So what is she going to file for? You know,
- 58:38Speaker 1: she is she going to file for divorce now because
- 58:41Speaker 1: she's not in love with you anymore? Uh? You know,
- 58:44Speaker 1: come on, this is just disrespectful. If it were you
- 58:48Speaker 1: who lost the weight and everything, she would be feeling
- 58:51Speaker 1: some kind of way as well. So you know, all
- 58:54Speaker 1: I can do is say, if she's gonna try and
- 58:56Speaker 1: and disrespect you and walk out on you and divorce you,
- 58:59Speaker 1: you're gonna have to, you know, get yourself together, get
- 59:03Speaker 1: yourself together. If that doesn't keep her, then she wasn't
- 59:05Speaker 1: meant for you anyway, you know. Um, we talked about
- 59:09Speaker 1: this a lot on the on the show, money makes
- 59:11Speaker 1: you more of who you are, maybe, you know, losing
- 59:14Speaker 1: weight and getting to yourself. This is who she was anyway.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Maybe she settled for you, you know, in her mind,
- 59:21Speaker 1: and now she feels she can do a lot better.
- 59:23Speaker 1: But I think you can do a lot better getting
- 59:26Speaker 1: someone to respect you and love you for who you are,
- 59:29Speaker 1: and then you know, maybe together you can lose and
- 59:32Speaker 1: if if that's what you want to do. Steve, oh m,
- 59:40Speaker 1: well yeah, I know you're going in a moment you
- 59:45Speaker 1: show no the helline am? I don't even know who
- 59:48Speaker 1: are we? We really hint here we why anybody say
- 59:53Speaker 1: the key words? And it's not anybody. I don't Okay, Charley,
- 59:59Speaker 1: I appreciate your answering everything, but let me try to
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: help big fella out. Big fella steal in love with
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: this girl. She then wouldn't got herself together. Now she
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: thinks she all that in a bag of chips. I
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you, man. The best thing
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I can tell you is I think you ought to
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: get in shape and leave hr M. That's my best
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: advice to you. I can see that. You know, she
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: obviously does not know any scriptures do unto others as
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you would have them do unto you. She must not
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: know that pride cometh before a fall. She must not
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: know that this one probably ain't in that gluttony is
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: a sin, that's not And he just sitting up there, okay, careful.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: That's why I'm there is no really answer for this letter.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I feel sorry for the guy. It's a dog on
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: shame that the woman to win in there and told
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: him she don't love him though, because she thinks she's
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: gonna go out and have this spectacle of life. But
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: she finn to go out here and find out what's
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: really out here. It's a lot of tricking going on
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: out here, and she's gonna run into it. So even
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: though I feel sorry for your brother, and you don't
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: want to lose your wife and now she fine, the
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: best thing I could do for him. If you can't
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: beat them, join them. I suggest you go get fined
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: and you don't have to use surgery. You can exercise
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and start eating the right foods and you could get
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: your in in six months. Let her go and you
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: get somebody else too. Yeah, I'd probably take a little
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: bit long in the six months. You got the rest
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: of your life. And there's a lot of women out
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: here looking for good men like you. So if you
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: you just keep being a good man and get yourself together,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: get so how much you wit? How much you thank you? Oh?
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: He about three fathers. He didn't put that in the letter.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: So well, we talk. We don't know. We think we've
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: got to be started. Yeah, got to be to be
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: writing you over three Yeah, yeah, he writing at two six?

- 1:03:48Speaker 1: For today's subject, I'm losing my fine and flirty wife.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: You want to recap Steve, just do man his wife.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: They will big, large, full figured people. They got married.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: When she married him, he was full figured. She didn't
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: mess around and got the little surgery, and now she
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: didn't lost a bunch of weight. Now she find she
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: flirts with people all the time, people talking to him,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: and uh, you know, now she online having sexy conversations
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: with me and it's commenting on a picture and everything,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: and she talking back to him. And dude been finding
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: this And she even went out with one guy somewhere
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: he discovered and you know, they didn't have sex or nothing.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: He don't think then she didn't came in the house
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: and told him she don't love him no more. And
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: one of the big things I didn't say in the
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: first half, she ain't used to this new attention she
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: got so now here she is. She brand new with it.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: But she feeled to find out a lot about attention though.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: All in all, attention don't come with good intentions. See
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: all attention don't come with good intentions. So what you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: gotta do when a person is paying your attention, what
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: you really need to do is locate and find out
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: the intention. Because attention is flattery. Intention usually has a
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: dark side to it. That's what I found in my life.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: So whenever somebody starts pouring on attention, ladies, let me
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: give you a piece of advice. Why are you sitting
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: there smiling and being flattered with the attention? What you
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: need to get to doing this focus on what his
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: intention is, because the intention could get you in a
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: lot of trouble. That's right. And didn't you just do
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a close and remark the other day about the grass
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: looking greener. Always from the other side, it looks like
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: it's man looks. Yeah, but when you get over that
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: man dog. You know how many find people out of
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: men as something really wrong with them? Yeah? Have you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: have you ever had a conversation with somebody who, outward
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: appearances you thought was cool and then they started talking
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: and you your eyes started doing that rapid eye movement,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: hey like silence that you damn this scan in the
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: room trying to figure out hold up, man, is anybody
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: watching me over here in this corner with this food? Yeah?
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: It's sad man. So I always do that. I always
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: think about the attention that I'm getting and right behind
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: the attention, what is the intention? Yeah, she's disrespectful. Do
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: you think this happens a lot women to get these surgeries?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: I'm just saying the women these surgeries think it happens
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: a lot? And then the husband is insecure after that? Yeah,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I think so. I think it happens a lot, especially
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: they were both you know, heavy to begin with that's all,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you know. And so now she's changed right and lost
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: all this weight. Now she doesn't want her husband anymore,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: so she's you know, seeking out other men. Yeah, that's terrible.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: You don't love it. You're gonna feel pretty insecure once
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: she tell you she don't love you know more, and
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: she online talking to other people, You're gonna feel that's hurtful.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: That's hurtful. Man. If she's money, yeah, she's terribly wrong. Yeah.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Probably for the surgery. Yeah, oh yeah, I believe that
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: hard working man because it would make her happy, because
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: he wanted to make her happy. He can, you know,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: to do something to make himself feel better and get better,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: get healthy, you know, lose some weight if he he
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: doesn't seem like he didn't mention that in the letter,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: but I mean that could help him have more confidence
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: in himself. I mean, this could be the motivating factor
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: that a person needs. Yeah. Absolutely, absolutely, he's hurt right now. Yeah,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: but you know what I mean, what you don't want
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: to do is compound the problem with another problem. So
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: what you don't want to do is now you depressed.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Now you're sitting at the house eating because she out
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and now you're eating and you come pounding your problem.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Now she come home. You got ice cream around your mouth,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: got milk commercial, and then you know where you're being baby,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: you know. So he could get in shape. Oh he
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: could just stop barbecue and every weekend get her back fat. Yeah,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: that's sound. You can get yourself in shire here. You
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: can go plant base, gonna get yourself down, get self control.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: You can do that. You can go and get yourself
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: in shape. You could do that. Oh you could just
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: go on and start making pies and stuff and just
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: get your girl back fat, really work the fat fat. Yeah.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: But I feel for him. No one wants to be
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: in a marriage for eight years and then all of
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: a sudden somebody says I don't love you anymore. That's
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: that's so crushing. That's crushing to a person. Yeah, well
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I've been crushed twice. Yeah right, and you survive. Come on,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: let's go and get through this. What you're gonna do.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Chalking up to the game, I had two people tell
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: me no more. Yeah, I mean it happens for sure. Yeah,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: get out. I've heard it with that too. You never
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: he leaves. Ain't heard that. I didn't heard. I don't
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: love you. I don't heard this right here? How about
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: this right here? I can't stand you. Oh yeah, that hurts,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: all of it hurts. Yeah, it's hurtful, especially with someone
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: you still love and he clearly still loves his wife.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: You know, Oh that wasn't the case. Well, this letter
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: is not about you. I just want you to know
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: once you come in and you make the announce smith
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: that you don't love me as soon as you get
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: through it, so before you take your next breath, I
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: can't stand your Yeah, well, I ain't gonna we don't
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: want to stand here feeling. Thank you for sharing. Steve

- 1:13:00Speaker 1: like me, Lavell Crawford earthquake, uh country, Wayne DC Young Flagestiniche.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: It's gonna be a whole bunch of comments. We're gonna
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: be at the Airy Crown. We're out there Friday and said,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: and you know what I'm gonna be talking about. What
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna be talking about, how Milannia Trump hate the
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: president so bad that she went to the one place
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: he was not gonna follow her, Africa. She went to
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: the Motherland because he know he wasn't coming over there.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: He got no cool points coming from the Motherland. Not happening.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: We thought we had him with the text thing. But
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: they said he's not gonna get federal charges just because
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: of daddy left him a lot of money. It wasn't
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: a million dollars. It was a lot more mother than
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: that that they said they tached crooks. That's what they said.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: No federal charges. But I bet Cuomo gonna get him
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: on some state charges. In at Cuomo who Cuomo ain't
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: no joke. But if the Trump families don't have to
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: pay no penalties because I think it's the statue of limitation. Yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: the statue, the statue of limitation, same thing, the statue
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: of limitation. That's right, and say there's no statue a
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: limitation for assessing civil and at tax penalty. But they
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: can get him on, but they can give him some
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: money though they need to clip him us. Listen, if
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: they don't get the whole Trump family, the sister, that
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: the judge, all the brothers, all the family men, Westless
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Night need all his money back me, all of it.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: And because I looked so similar to him, I need
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: mine back to I'm not stop what you're messing with
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: people at tax money. The estates of either hate everybody
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: that went down for Marvin gay Estate. He made a
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: whole album about this. What did he say? Matter of
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: fact is I can't pay my taxes. The youngest don't
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: understand this tech thing ain't new. This ain't new. That's
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: the oldest hustles in the world. So they need gonna
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: get him, gonna get him. Cavanaugh, I think he perjured himself.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I think he perjured himself person I know. Listen, lets
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: me tell you how first of all the letters is
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: coming out all the way back to night. What kind
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: of I was about to cusse, I'm sorry recalling what
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: kind of dude, could you be that you kept what
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: is essentially a diary of journal of you hanging out
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: with your male friends, and you're talking about how hard
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: y'all drink, that y'all vomited up alcohol. But then you
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: say in the testimony you ain't never been that drunk.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: You perjured yourself. You got get him, but that don't
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: let him breathe us. First of all, he cried. You
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: can tell he emotional. He emotionally he crying, and you
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: don't have to cry nobody, real man, just man up
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: and say what it is. Let me tell you something.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I don't drink a lot in my life, juniors, and
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I ain't never threw up well two times two times? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: oh this is to me. I'm from Arkansas. We don
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: not throw up good liquor that that is that does
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: not have brown or white. I fix brown lical with
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: white liquor. And well, you know, I was trying to diet, Carla,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: and that's when it came in. But I never did
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: a Cavanough. I never did a Cavanaugh. You know what
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I'm saying. You're throwing ice and people face you and
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: your boys. Man listen his whole crew, you man, listen,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: we just need to register to vote for the mid term.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: We got that in thirty days. Get him up out
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: of there. We need to put the sister in Georgia.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Abrahams needs gonna be the governor. The dude out in
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Tallahassee really need to be the governor of Yeah, Ben Jealous,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: go ahead with Maryland. Ben Jealous, former president of the
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: d a CP. You know he needs gonna do his time.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: We got a lot of people running for things that
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: we need to help him out. So now that we
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: hold the microphone, we just need to get him out. Mabo.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: They used to say, throw the bums out. We need
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: just start a voting and throwing people out. You don't
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: and last, but not leavest, because ain't nobody told me
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: what time it is? Kanye Weststen, I love Kanye's and
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: I know this brother is going through something. But if
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: they stopped putting him on TV, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: I know what he meant by saying amen the thirteenth Amendment.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I knew what he meant. He meant the fact that
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: you can be enslaved because you committed a crime. That's
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: what he meant. But that ain't what you said, and
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: in this climate, you can't just be throwing stuff out
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: there because they cling to the part that will set
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: us back. They don't cling to the part that move
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: us forward. And I ain't going back to slavery. I
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: don't think I would have made a good slave. I
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: barely work where I went. Let me stop talking right now.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: He just knocked itself in the bathroom. We're gonna be
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: right back. I'm coming, am, I coming back. I love you. Okay,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I'll sit here, Okay, I'm forget the reality up day,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: coming up statue. You're listening. Right before we get to
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Carla's reality update, Steve Uh, we have to say goodbye
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: to Cheryl Sryl. Thank you for your insight. Kanye a
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: cool brother. And I think it's hard is in the
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: right place. I think he really is trying to say
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: something to bring people together and unifying them even more.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Just hard to use Donald Trump as that example. It's
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: very hard, you right, It's very hard. That's right. That's right.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: So blinded by rage, she just like Milani even know that.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: That's why she in Africa, right now, that's what happened.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: You know, you ain't going to Africa to talk to
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: the girls. He over there having a good time. She
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: even fresh fruit of vegetables and everything, a good meets
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: and everything children. Alright, African day. She's getting a hand
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Brady with to be you. I'm crazy too late, ste
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I'm a great day. We love you. Yes, it is
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: all right, she is here. Carlin's reality update. All right,
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: thank you, nephew, here we go. Uh, it's not really
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: a reality show. It was a reality special. Ray J
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: and Princess. Uh, they had a little reality special labor
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: of love as they prepare for their first child. And
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: you know, Princess ray J's wife is pregnant and on
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: the show she's already had the baby. But on the
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: show she was pregnant and they had a special about it,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: and and and Princess I guess she was really ready
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: for ray J to get serious about fatherhood and she
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: wanted him to understand that it's a huge responsibility for
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: being a parent. So she felt like she was a
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: serious one and he wasn't quite ready. So she wanted
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: to prepare him for some things as his first child,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: only child. Yes, yes, she gotta get him ready, yeah
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: right now? Ready? Are not right? So on the show,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Steve as Uh, ray J and Princess prepared for their
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: baby's arrival. Uh, they experienced everything they had, They went
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: to water birthing classes, They had extended family drama. You know,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: there was still some beef going on between Princess and
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Miss Sonia, you know, ray Jay's mom and princess sister
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: in law Brandy. They still were kind of beefing. And Uh,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: they went to the doctor's office and and one of
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: the things that came up for discussion at the doctor's
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: office is Princess she wants to have You know, when
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: you're pregnant, you kind of in the mood a lot,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: and so Princess wanted to have sex all the time.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: And so ray J was concerned about that, talked to
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: the doctor about that, and then he was concerned would
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: she be back to normal after childbirth if you know
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: what I mean. Then the doctor says, well, not quite
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: back to normal when you're pushing seven pounds out of you.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: So ray J was kind of concerned about that. But
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Princess said she was part of Asians, and so Asians
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: snapped back, I said, well, okay, did ray J not
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: to worry about that. But the funny part was that
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: ray J. She got this pregnancy suit for him to
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: wear so he can understand what it was like to
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: be pregnant. And she had a bluetooth connection that could
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: send contractions to ray J so he would know how
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: it would feel to be pregnant. Yet and yes, baby
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: ray J was walking down the street breathing all hard.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: He could have walked down the stairs. They went to
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: a restaurant and she kept using her phone because you
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: can use your phone to push the I guess it
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: was like an electronic SI yes on her bluetooth and
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: she kept doing it over and over and over. Ray
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: J was been the down. People was stopping him on
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: the street. What's wrong with him? And she was yes, yeah,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: so it was really really cool, uh she you know, Princess.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: They had a baby shower and and ray J was
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: disappointed because his mother didn't come to the baby shower.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: Brandy didn't come to the baby shower, and his father
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: was there and ray J was saying, this is not
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: right for his family to you know, be to beef
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: like that. They had a special surprise announcement. They named
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: the baby. You know, they told everyone friends and family
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: at the baby shower with the baby anybody know what
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: is about. Yeah, it was. It was a lot of
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: stuff back and forth social media. They were airing out
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: their dirty laundry and Princess said this or Brandy said that.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Then Sonya got involved and told ray J that his
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: wife shouldn't be on social media putting their business out
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: there and beefing with the family. But the good news
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: was Princess went into labor, Steve, she had the baby.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: She had a very difficult labor. Then she ended up
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: having a c section, and Sonya came to the hospital.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: They squashed the beef. The families together, they prayed, and
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: they welcomed. They lit a baby Melody loved Norwood to
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: the family, and it was all good. So beautiful. She
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: is beautiful, the baby, beautiful, beautiful virtual reality. I know right,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I'm at the hospital. No, no fights at the hospital,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: not while she was in labor. It was it was really,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: really good. So there was some good news on this
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: reality special about them. Welcome and baby Melody to the world. Steve,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you, I mean you, Timmy, you
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: guys are fathers on the show. Um we talk about
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: you know when the first time you became a father,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: how did you feel, you know, especially when the twins
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: were born, Steve, and at the hospital where you there,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: and it threw me in the south. Really how something
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: you know? You know, that was before you could determine
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: the birth of a child and the sex. You know,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: you couldn't know that. And you know, I never knew
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: what I was gonna have until they came. And then
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: all of a sudden, man, I was a parent now.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I stopped at the gift shop and bought two onesies
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: out the gift shop to take up to my twins.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Each one of the onesies was thirty two dollars at
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: the hospital. Yeah, you know the gift shop. Yeah, boy,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: my mom said, boy boy, you feel to be broken.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Ain't gonna be hard. I'm already. I want to hear
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: more about this. Can we talk more about it being
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: the father when we come back. You're listening to Steve
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Show alright, Part two of Carla's reality Update. Steve got
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: into something deep before we went to break hunt, Carla
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: talking about we were talking about ray j and Princess
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Love of Labor, the reality show that talked about the
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: birth of their baby, Melody, their daughter, and I was
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: talking to Steve about the first time he became a
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: you know, a father with the delivery of his daughters.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: And you were saying, Steve, you got one zies at
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: the gift shop and my mama said, boy, are you crazy.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: You're gonna be broke. You don't buy no wants from
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: that zails got these WANs for three seventy five zas
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: thrown back. Did you take him back? No? I don't know.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I didn't know. Man, it's so much. I didn't know
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: you learned so much when you first become a parent.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: But the part that she's talking about, ray J is
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: not taking it serious. He's not understanding the responsibility. Oh kids,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: teach it to you really really quickly. Yeah, because you're
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: actually giving birth to some a person that's totally dependent
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: on you for everything. If you've never been responsible for
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: a person's everything, there, everything ever you, then you've never
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: been a parent. Yeah, that was the hardest part. What
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: is when the first time the money you walking with
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: him and can't nobody to tell which one is the parents?
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Shut up, boys, nothing to do this with you today.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: It was the hard part is the hard part of
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: you do that time? Go ahead, man, it's a hard
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: part for you when y'all go to the amusement park
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: and they can ride, but you can't. Are you sure?
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: I don't have any more you got? You keep them loaded?
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: And since you're done, your little protegey're gonna be right
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: on side. I'm not gonna gonna fire mine off. But
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: it was good though. The difficult part for me is
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: being left with the child by myself for the first time.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: I was para. I was calling that boy, Mama back,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: how long you get back here? How long you get
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: back man? No, that's real. I was too you were
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: I was? I really really was. I mean it was okay.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: I handled it, of course, but if I was nervous,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: I really was. When my mom left me, I was, wow,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: could you get that? Could you? Could you get that
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: burrito right? Rap up right? I couldn't get that right
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: for nothing? Oh you mean when you swallow them or
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: the you swallow him and tuck them? Talking about a
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: burrito right? What they called it? Yeah, when you swadodle.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Some babies don't like that. No, they don't because they
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: want to be free. Yeah, Jared and didn't like it
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: as they Yeah, they want to be free. Yeah, somebody
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: I don't like that? Yeah, I got it. I got it,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: not Steve what you probably haven't. You may have done
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: it though, because you've got grand babies. The hardest thing
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: in the world now is to put that car CD in. Boyd,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: don't it your over to the house one time and
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: I was helping her out to the car. Yeah, man,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: I was sweating, so damn. I'm telling you that cost
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: me the beasts man something how that he posted to
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: be facing all right, we got we got right here.
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. Alright, So yesterday your cell phone, it probably
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: buzzed and beeped it loudly around two eighteen pm Eastern time.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: I think everybody experienced that. The FED sent out a
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: presidential alert. The screen said, this is a test of
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: So if you heard the buzz, you probably grabbed your
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: phone and thought you had to do something, no scar, yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: well yeah, but I was a loud yeah yeah, Okay, Well,
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: this is a test of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: Like it said, no action is needed, And the test
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: went over poorly on social media. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel tweeted,
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: did anybody get this? Which hunt crooked Hill Laurie no
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: collusion confirmed caval Kavanaugh hashtag make America Great Again? M
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: A G A. But just because it was Presidential Alert,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: everybody thought it was something from Donald Trump. Um. The
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Presidential Alert was the first nationwide test of the system.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: It was built by the federal government and cell phone
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: carriers to warn us of an emergency like a terror attack,
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: for instance, or a widespread disaster. So if you're worried
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: about your privacy, the FCC says it does not collect
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: the data based on the test. Yea, So they say right,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: Uh no, no sir, no sir. It came from the government,
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: so I doubt it. And that's why it's hard for
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: people to believe that they don't collect your data. Uh yeah, there.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: What would you want to block it? Though? Tom? Yeah,
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: why would you want to block something? And then you
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: know a terror tech going on? I just want happening,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: we gonna. I don't remember getting it on. I don't
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: think I got it. You didn't get it, well, if
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: you weren't near a cell phone tower. A lot of
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: people didn't. Yeah, I got it. You got eight hundred messages.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: You ain't chick. You probably got it. I don't see
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: no him. Well as we get your nephew, can't call
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: you and tell you if we get one, because he's
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: gonna block is apparently at all. As much as you
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: move around. Why everybody running where they going? I like it.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: I'm on way before the phone, trust me, all right?
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: And Kanye and his dad really had a great time.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: They bugged out this weekend, I mean literally kin in
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: his dad. Ray West celebrated Easy Seniors Health with the
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: post on Instagram. After getting the good news that ray
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: West cancer is in remission. The father and son toasted
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: to the recovery by um chowing down on creepy crawlers,
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: really creepy callers, creepy Crawley's. Yeah. The photo posted on
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: the gram shows what looks like a plate of saute
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: crickets with the caption overcome fear. I'm not afraid. I'm
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: just not gonna eat him. That's all. My dad and
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: I are going to eat this plate of bugs to
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: celebrate him beating cancer. M hmm, okay, no more fear,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: but cricket. Then you want to go to Vegas and nothing. Yeah,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: I don't get this. You want to go to Vegas.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: He got cricket money, he got no money. But really,
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: all right, coming up our last break of the day,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: we're gonna close out the show. You're listening to show,
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: all right, Steve, last break of the day, take us
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: home with something good. Closing remarks, well, let's go. I
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: think I should keep it on upswing for everybody again.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: I want to just talk to you about what it
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: really takes to make it, what it really takes to
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: make it. Now. Look, I can, oh, you know, sit
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: here and tell you a bunch of stuff that you know,
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: sound like I'm really into public speaking, and I know
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: all of what I'm talking about all is here in YadA,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: YadA YadA. But at the end of the day, what
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: people really want is real simple things that they can
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: do to make it. People want to be successful, man,
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: they really do. They don't They don't want to not
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: know what it's like to be happy, to be free,
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: to be successful. Um. They they they want a simpler
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: how should I put this? They want somebody to explain
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: it to him and simplify it. That's what I'm trying
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: to say. Well, guess what, I don't know if I'm
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: the person that's qualified to make it the simplest. But
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: let me tell you what I do. Though. If you
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: want to be happy in this life, if you want
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: to be successful, you're gonna have to develop a couple
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: of things. Now here's the thing that I want you
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: to understand. Most people have what it takes to be successful,
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: but if it does not start with the belief that
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: you can be successful folk, you can never bring out
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: the qualities in you of success. Listen to me again.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: Everyone has it in them to be successful, but if
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you don't bring them out, and that starts with the belief.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: If you don't have the belief that you can be somebody,
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: that you're worthy, that you're qualified, that you're capable. If
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: you don't start with that basic belief, it can never happen.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: So first things first, in order to be successful and
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: happy in this world at whatever level you're talking about, happiness,
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: success is for you, it has to start with the
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: belief that it is for you. I believe that I
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: should be successful. I believe that God wants me to
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: be prosperous. I believe that He comes to give you
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: life and give you life more abundantly. But you got
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: to develop some things, man, And the way to develop
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: them is start with the belief and hang onto the
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: belief so strong that these attributes develop themselves. Resilience. If
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: you believe hard enough that you can be successful, that
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: you can be happy, it will automatically start to cultivate
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: this thing that's in all of us. It's called resilience.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: All y'all got it. Everybody got it. You are resilient people.
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: All of us are resilient. Hell, if you can survive
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: the projects, you reveal you. If you can survive public schools,
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: you resil you. If you can survive walking through gang
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: neighborhoods because you still want education, you reveal you. If
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: you manage to get yourself a high school diploma or
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: a g e D. You are resilient. And the more
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: belief you have, the more of these attributes you can develop.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: You got to be tough. You know how you get tough.
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: You got to believe that you tough. You got to
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: believe that you can hang in there when all is
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: against you. That's how you get tough. You get tough
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: because you keep facing the tests and you keep passing
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: them but all of that, you came past the tests
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: unless you believe you can. Y'all, don't hear me. All
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: of you have an inner strength. Listen to me, man,
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: Don't you know even a homeless person has an inner strength?
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: What is it that that gets a person to live
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: under bridge or live in the refrigerator box or live
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: in some of these homeless encountenents? Do you know what
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: really makes them live there? Because they have an inner strength.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: It's still some fiber of them that's telling them to

- 1:37:59Speaker 1: rid of theirselves. Everybody would end it. But you know
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: why people don't end it because you really do have
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: an inner strength. It takes something to be homeless. Everybody
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: can make a mistake, man, and wind yourself up in
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: a situation. For homeless people have an inner strength. They
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: have a toughness. It's tough being homeless, man. They have
