- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join be you doing me? You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn hur you are you gotta turn to turn them out?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn got the turnout? Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fad h I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:06Speaker 1: me now one and only. Huh Steve Harvey Man got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show? M Yeah, I do. Man. God been
- 2:16Speaker 1: so good to me over the years, in spite of
- 2:19Speaker 1: all the mistakes I've made, in spite of all the
- 2:22Speaker 1: dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking about when in
- 2:27Speaker 1: no one I was wrong, His grace and mercy has
- 2:32Speaker 1: forgiven me for all of my sins. God can forgive
- 2:37Speaker 1: you of all of your sins, everything you've done, God
- 2:42Speaker 1: can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Might you might have some you know, things you got
- 2:49Speaker 1: to deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 1: slate clean with God and start again. You can repent.
- 3:00Speaker 1: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God. Now,
- 3:04Speaker 1: people answer another story. Some people may never forgive you,
- 3:07Speaker 1: for you've heard them all, or maybe they're accusing you
- 3:10Speaker 1: of doing something else. But you know they may never
- 3:13Speaker 1: forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption business man.
- 3:18Speaker 1: God will forgive you for every sin you've ever committed.
- 3:22Speaker 1: But you gotta want forgiveness now, and then you got
- 3:25Speaker 1: to come correct because what you can't do is you
- 3:28Speaker 1: can't shoot him the crap. Now you can say that
- 3:31Speaker 1: conversation with him. You know, whatever you told your lawyer, whatever,
- 3:36Speaker 1: whatever you told the victims, whatever you told, whatever the
- 3:40Speaker 1: story is you got going if it ain't the truth,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you could say that with God, because please know, he know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he know your heart. He know if you're trying
- 3:49Speaker 1: to manipulate somebody just for the system, if you're trying
- 3:53Speaker 1: to say this just so you can get out, He
- 3:55Speaker 1: know all of that. So if you're planning on shucking
- 3:58Speaker 1: him and jiving him, save your breath before you wind
- 4:01Speaker 1: up digging yourself in a deeper hole. Just let me
- 4:04Speaker 1: give you that piece of advice because he ain't nothing
- 4:06Speaker 1: to play with. He's too great to be played with.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And so with that in mind, I want to share
- 4:12Speaker 1: some positive stuff with you to smartn man. I want
- 4:14Speaker 1: to say this now. I want to remind you not
- 4:17Speaker 1: to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your future
- 4:23Speaker 1: or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This is
- 4:27Speaker 1: important information. Man. Don't let your circumstance and situations dictate
- 4:33Speaker 1: your future or your results. Do you know that in
- 4:38Speaker 1: order to get a different future or some different results,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you control that entire situation. It is you. It is
- 4:47Speaker 1: your thoughts that control the entire situation. It is how
- 4:51Speaker 1: you look at the situation that will determine how the
- 4:54Speaker 1: situation is for you. See, the same situation can be
- 4:59Speaker 1: totally different for two different people because you can say
- 5:02Speaker 1: you look at the examples of history, just just look
- 5:05Speaker 1: look in your neighborhood. How can that was a book
- 5:08Speaker 1: that a guy wrote one time who had the name.
- 5:10Speaker 1: He had a name, and he did some research and
- 5:13Speaker 1: he found a guy that grew up at the same
- 5:16Speaker 1: age in the same neighborhood as him, with the exact
- 5:20Speaker 1: same name. He went on to become a corporate CEO.
- 5:24Speaker 1: The other man was an inmate, and they had the
- 5:31Speaker 1: same name, grew up in the same neighborhood. They were
- 5:35Speaker 1: both brothers, you know not, I'm just saying brothers men.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And they grew and they went to different Because how
- 5:42Speaker 1: can two different two people the same situation and the
- 5:46Speaker 1: results turn out so different. It is because of the
- 5:48Speaker 1: thought process of one was completely different from the thought
- 5:52Speaker 1: process of the other. You control it. You don't have
- 5:55Speaker 1: to let your circumstances and your situations dictate your future
- 5:59Speaker 1: or your results. Here's the way it works. This is
- 6:03Speaker 1: so you can understand this. Your mind. It's the controlling
- 6:08Speaker 1: factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the controlling factor
- 6:13Speaker 1: of your outcome. The Bible says a man is as
- 6:18Speaker 1: he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture here, because
- 6:22Speaker 1: this one is the real deal. This is the basis
- 6:25Speaker 1: of every self improvement book you'll ever read. It's already
- 6:30Speaker 1: written in the Bible. The Bible has all the information
- 6:33Speaker 1: you need. But in case you need a little bit
- 6:35Speaker 1: of clarity in some simple modern day language, then they
- 6:38Speaker 1: have self improvement books. They are all based on Biblical scripture.
- 6:42Speaker 1: A man is as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent
- 6:46Speaker 1: Peale wrote the book The Power of Positive Thinking. That's
- 6:50Speaker 1: why a book came out called The Magic of Thinking Big.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That's why a book came out called Think and Grow
- 6:56Speaker 1: Rich by Napoleon Hell that all of you, All these
- 7:00Speaker 1: titles that I've read that have mattered in my life
- 7:03Speaker 1: the most, These three major books that I've read, they
- 7:06Speaker 1: all say one thing. Think thinking thoughts, because that's what
- 7:10Speaker 1: controls the outcome. Your brain works one of two ways.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It works positive or negative. It works good, which is
- 7:24Speaker 1: under the column of positive, or to work evil, which
- 7:27Speaker 1: is under the column of negative. It will have faith,
- 7:31Speaker 1: which is under the column of positive, or you will
- 7:35Speaker 1: operate in fear, which is in the column of negative.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That is the only way your mind works. Your mind
- 7:42Speaker 1: is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those workers are
- 7:48Speaker 1: controlled by two formings, forming positive and forming negative. But
- 7:53Speaker 1: guess what the CEO of the company, the head, man,
- 7:57Speaker 1: the boss is you. You come to work in the
- 8:01Speaker 1: morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 8:13Speaker 1: true that I've been thinking about. I'm gonna take another
- 8:16Speaker 1: step forward in the development and the changing of my
- 8:19Speaker 1: life in a positive, good direction. If you come to
- 8:23Speaker 1: work and say that every day as the CEO, the boss,
- 8:26Speaker 1: the formans can only obey you, so that what you
- 8:30Speaker 1: just said was a series of positive statements then forming
- 8:34Speaker 1: positive steps to the forefront. He said, I got your
- 8:37Speaker 1: boss right away. He turns around, He blows the whistle.
- 8:41Speaker 1: He alerts all the workers in the factory today as
- 8:44Speaker 1: a good day. Today, we will take steps towards our future.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Today we are putting ourselves on track to get a
- 8:51Speaker 1: little bit closer to making our dreams come true. Today
- 8:54Speaker 1: we will be assembling all the things we need to
- 8:58Speaker 1: make our dreams come true in our life better in
- 9:00Speaker 1: the right direction. Everybody break. The workers in the factory
- 9:05Speaker 1: turn around and manufacture thoughts to justify the orders given
- 9:11Speaker 1: by the boss, which is you. You are the CEO
- 9:15Speaker 1: of your corporation. If you don't own nothing else, you
- 9:19Speaker 1: own everything that's going on between your two ears. You
- 9:22Speaker 1: are the CEO of that corporation. If that corporation is
- 9:26Speaker 1: a good one, it's because you set it up that way.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If your corporation is a bad one, it's because you
- 9:32Speaker 1: set it up that day. If you trying, if you
- 9:34Speaker 1: pushing towards your dreams, and you see the possibility of
- 9:37Speaker 1: things happening in your life is because you, as the CEO,
- 9:41Speaker 1: set it up that way. If you ain't got nothing popping,
- 9:43Speaker 1: if you just want to be a criminal taking stuff
- 9:45Speaker 1: from people, throwing your life out the window, you're gonna
- 9:48Speaker 1: be an inmate. You're gonna be sitting there there, and
- 9:50Speaker 1: you're gonna be mad at everybody. You got nobody be
- 9:52Speaker 1: mad at. But shoot, you understand what I'm telling you
- 9:55Speaker 1: this morning? Huh? You're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen,

- 15:16Speaker 1: She's a pepper mit pat. In order to get that
- 15:22Speaker 1: kit cat, you got to have a big pay day. Yeah,
- 15:35Speaker 1: he's using that baby talk. You gotta have a big
- 15:40Speaker 1: pay day, like a hundred grand. I ain't got the money.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You just a milky. Let's move on. Then there's Collar
- 15:56Speaker 1: my little armad George Chocolate a joy and she's married
- 16:04Speaker 1: to Old and they got together and compulated and had
- 16:11Speaker 1: themself a little baby roof. Your baby roof is at
- 16:17Speaker 1: the house. But some days if you cross her, it
- 16:22Speaker 1: can go really bad for you. She becomes a real
- 16:25Speaker 1: sour path. But on her best days you can hear
- 16:31Speaker 1: her in the background just being a jolly red Well.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Then that's Junior. We like to call him Junior Mint.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Most days he just sits over to Andy Snickers bust
- 16:55Speaker 1: out an old laughing tag. Is a part of the
- 17:02Speaker 1: three Musketeers. That would be Tommy, Jay and Judy. Yes,
- 17:08Speaker 1: everybody speaking of Tommy, Tommy can be a real dumb doge. Yes,
- 17:19Speaker 1: it is all from time to get the attitude, just
- 17:24Speaker 1: a real sour talk. Yeah. Then when he snapped extra
- 17:30Speaker 1: hardy becomes a salted almond. Then there's the new comer
- 17:41Speaker 1: to the show, Jay Anthony Brown. He's a diabetic. Oh yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 1: that makes him hot a sugar day. Surely you're ruined
- 17:58Speaker 1: in the bidin about to land. This is candy that
- 18:05Speaker 1: he don't care for, the black cow, all the Tussie rolls.
- 18:12Speaker 1: That boy just like white chock or and that leaves
- 18:20Speaker 1: me used to be my favorite candy too. I'm just
- 18:24Speaker 1: a big old box of good and plenty with a
- 18:29Speaker 1: lot of zeros behind my chick. Some days I'm an
- 18:35Speaker 1: almond joy, I'm Jay's I'm just a nuttle. But but
- 18:43Speaker 1: no matter what, I'm dyning Mike v e O, which
- 18:48Speaker 1: means I'm the big ball. This has been Steve Harvey's
- 18:55Speaker 1: daytime stories. The candy a dish, I'm hungry. Yeah, how'd
- 19:10Speaker 1: you like that? Interpret man, good man, man of the
- 19:14Speaker 1: papers to the mouth. That's that's why this is what
- 19:22Speaker 1: your baby. Have you always been a diabetic chair, no
- 19:27Speaker 1: but me for forty years ago, so you had your
- 19:31Speaker 1: share of candy. Yeah, well, oh my god, yeah yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And Halloween is coming and I have a sign to
- 19:36Speaker 1: keep a sign in front of my house. Folle who
- 19:38Speaker 1: sounds it says, I'm gonna diabetic if I can't have
- 19:42Speaker 1: candy either. Can you take your ass on down? I
- 19:46Speaker 1: love it? Come up here with that? What your kids
- 19:50Speaker 1: can't come and get candy? I'm gonna diabetic? I mean,
- 19:54Speaker 1: you can't have any If I can't have candon either,
- 19:58Speaker 1: it's like alcoholic. Look, you know what was your favorite
- 20:07Speaker 1: candy though? Before? I can't think I'm enjoying Yep and
- 20:17Speaker 1: pat No my number one candy all time. Oh yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I'm right there. Which we'll have more of the Steve
- 20:24Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 20:28Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right now. It is time for the King
- 20:31Speaker 1: of Pranks. He's in the building with run that prank back?
- 20:34Speaker 1: What you got? Now, surely every church got one thick
- 20:38Speaker 1: and shutting stick and shutting and list? Everybody got shutting? Yeah,
- 20:43Speaker 1: been on that list for you. You make me so
- 20:46Speaker 1: nervous when you do the church thick and shutting in.
- 20:52Speaker 1: So I'm trying to you got him? How you joy?
- 20:59Speaker 1: I'm doing I ain't doing too good. You've been over
- 21:02Speaker 1: there praying for my wife again, right right, right, yes, sir,
- 21:05Speaker 1: you came over here three times in one week. My
- 21:09Speaker 1: wife had already went through the operation and all that
- 21:11Speaker 1: she's gonna be prying. I don't need you over a
- 21:14Speaker 1: praying three times a week, because honestly, I think it's
- 21:17Speaker 1: something else on your mind when you come over here
- 21:19Speaker 1: and praying for my wife. I ain't stupid, brother, kind
- 21:22Speaker 1: of hold it, brother, this body, this is well. Your
- 21:27Speaker 1: wife was on the second shot. Then lift iver actually
- 21:30Speaker 1: come by. Revere man requested that I come by. Okay,
- 21:35Speaker 1: he ain't requested for you to bring your black to
- 21:37Speaker 1: my house for no three times in one week, man,
- 21:40Speaker 1: So you cut that down with me. You can cut that.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Hold it, brother. I came with sister Georgia the first time.
- 21:49Speaker 1: The second time I came by myself because she wasn't
- 21:52Speaker 1: able to come by, and I only stayed fifteen men
- 21:56Speaker 1: each time. So what's the problem. Because I already know
- 21:59Speaker 1: what you what you do. I know you're trying to
- 22:00Speaker 1: holly my wife. I ain't stoop how put your wife?
- 22:03Speaker 1: I have a wife? Why would I help at your wife?
- 22:06Speaker 1: He's part of already know what you already know what
- 22:09Speaker 1: you're doing. Man, you up in here my wife whine, whine, whine,
- 22:13Speaker 1: nobody at the house. I already know what you're doing.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Keep your black away from
- 22:17Speaker 1: my house. If you want to pray for my wife
- 22:20Speaker 1: and play my wife, I'm gonna wait. You ain't wait, man, Oh,
- 22:24Speaker 1: you can't talk to you about lay hand. That's what
- 22:28Speaker 1: you're gonna now. Brother, ain't gonna be none of that,
- 22:31Speaker 1: and ain't gonna be none of that. You're talking to
- 22:33Speaker 1: the wrong brother nine. Okay. Now, first of all, you're
- 22:36Speaker 1: not gonna dis expect me and curse me out. Okay,
- 22:40Speaker 1: that's not even the way brothers should be talking to brother.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Second of all, if there's any laying on the hand,
- 22:45Speaker 1: it's gonna be my hand laying on you. Okay, you
- 22:48Speaker 1: ain't been the lady the lady. I know you're trying
- 22:50Speaker 1: to lay my wife. If I find that what you
- 22:54Speaker 1: know that you mess around with my wife, it's gonna be,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I know, trying to do crazy. I'm I'm just letting
- 23:00Speaker 1: you talk. I'm gonna say it one more time. Keep
- 23:02Speaker 1: your black stop around my First of all, I told
- 23:06Speaker 1: you once again. You can't be talking to me like that. Now.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I'm trying to be cool about the situation because I
- 23:12Speaker 1: know you may be just upset. Okay, I can appreciate that. Okay,
- 23:17Speaker 1: I have a wife, and I'll be upset if somebody's
- 23:19Speaker 1: coming back to my wife. Won't you? Won't you and
- 23:22Speaker 1: show out with your wife? I do stand down with
- 23:24Speaker 1: my wife. I do you know what I'm saying now,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I only cannybody about your house. Maybe I need to
- 23:29Speaker 1: come out your house and how let your wife? Were
- 23:31Speaker 1: you welcome to but maybe come come and come lay
- 23:35Speaker 1: something over the old huh God trying to do with
- 23:39Speaker 1: my holder? Holy one man, Holy one man, I told
- 23:43Speaker 1: you before being disrespectful. Now, that was a very idiotic
- 23:47Speaker 1: statement for you to make. Okay, that's what's going to happen.
- 23:51Speaker 1: If I get your black drip my house again, I'm
- 23:54Speaker 1: gonna play this man, and then I'm getting on the
- 23:55Speaker 1: phone with you. You your plasters, any more of them?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Because if anybody comes by my house again and I
- 24:01Speaker 1: ain't there, I'm kicking your black. That's a prodest you know,
- 24:06Speaker 1: just that said? Look him, brother, If there's gonna be
- 24:09Speaker 1: any whooping going on, I'm gonna be kicking your I'm
- 24:12Speaker 1: gonna lay my hands on you, and I'm gonna give
- 24:14Speaker 1: you a good sanctified whooping, and then I'm gonna pray
- 24:19Speaker 1: for you. I'm gonna pray to heal you by this
- 24:21Speaker 1: foot I'm gonna put up, okay, because I've had it
- 24:24Speaker 1: with you, you know. And I only went by it
- 24:27Speaker 1: to visit your wife because I was asked to go
- 24:29Speaker 1: visit your wife. Now that was a problem you should
- 24:31Speaker 1: have caused the pastor. Okay, but you're not gonna disrespect
- 24:34Speaker 1: me my wife to church on the phone. Life you
- 24:36Speaker 1: want to do somebody, you can meet me any place. Well,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I've been man. As a matter of fact, I can
- 24:42Speaker 1: go anywhere I want it in this town. If I
- 24:44Speaker 1: be at your house talking to your wife, if the
- 24:46Speaker 1: path asked me to go, I'm gonna be there. Okay.
- 24:49Speaker 1: How you you know you just you know it's you know,
- 24:52Speaker 1: a stupid brother. Okay. You need to come to church,
- 24:56Speaker 1: to church the one. You need to come to church
- 24:59Speaker 1: more often. That's the problem. You don't come to church
- 25:01Speaker 1: more off. If you come to church more off, you
- 25:03Speaker 1: wouldn't be talking to me like that. You wouldn't be
- 25:06Speaker 1: worried about me and your wife because it must be
- 25:08Speaker 1: something wrong in your house. You'd be worried about me
- 25:11Speaker 1: fooling with your wife. Okay, so you need to check. Hut, Okay,
- 25:15Speaker 1: you need to check. How about that? Why don't you
- 25:17Speaker 1: do that? Why don't you? Why don't you just check up? Okay?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Tommy said, you're the one that's cheating with my wife.
- 25:24Speaker 1: That's all I know. Who Tommy Harmy said, you Tommy
- 25:29Speaker 1: the one. Tommy said, you're the one that's cheating around
- 25:32Speaker 1: with my wife. Tommy who the fool? Who is Tommy?

- 25:44Speaker 1: never your Tommy from Steve Harmen Morty show man. Your

- 26:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna check him. I'm gonna check out. I'm fuldn't go.

- 26:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, hey, brother, brother, you go, man? What
- 26:26Speaker 1: you gotta tell me? What's the baddest radio show with
- 26:28Speaker 1: the lab Man Steve Hobby Martin Show? Do you have
- 26:34Speaker 1: a will? Thank you? Great? Question? That's done? And are
- 26:40Speaker 1: we in it? In it new? I have no wheel.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I gotta they got life insurance on me. I do
- 26:47Speaker 1: know that. Man. I have to sleep with one eye open.

- 27:36Speaker 1: show jumps off. You don't want to miss it. Saganaw

- 27:42Speaker 1: So get ready, get your tickets in on sell right now.
- 27:43Speaker 1: August the thirtieth and thirty first, that's Labor Day weekend,
- 27:46Speaker 1: Bethesda Blues and Jazz. That's what I was waiting for,
- 27:52Speaker 1: waiting on When are you singing? And what instrument are you?
- 27:56Speaker 1: When do you start the comedy set? Because I want
- 27:59Speaker 1: I don't want to miss any of it. I don't
- 28:01Speaker 1: do my first number, surely I do all. You'll never
- 28:05Speaker 1: find renother love like mine, you know what? Let me
- 28:13Speaker 1: throw this in following weekend after that, September the seventh,
- 28:16Speaker 1: Saturday night, I will be in Greenville. That's right, Greenville,
- 28:20Speaker 1: North Carolina. That's at the Greenville Convention Center. Take its
- 28:23Speaker 1: own sale right now. I'm on a roll y'all. Soon
- 28:25Speaker 1: as I get through, we're taping this. Ready to Love
- 28:27Speaker 1: my second season of my TV show. I'll be back
- 28:30Speaker 1: on the road slanging chokes. That's what I say. Joke.
- 28:33Speaker 1: But you told everybody where the ghoop your after? That's
- 28:36Speaker 1: all I got. Now, let me tell you something. Everybody
- 28:39Speaker 1: that run up and try ain't gonna Winna, I got
- 28:42Speaker 1: it all you needed, one ass woman. All right? Thinking
- 28:45Speaker 1: of you, you're listening morning show I knew. Study suggested
- 28:53Speaker 1: writing a to do list before bed could improve sleep
- 28:57Speaker 1: all right. Study participants who spent five minutes writing a
- 29:00Speaker 1: list of things they had to get done fell asleep
- 29:03Speaker 1: nine minutes faster than those who wrote a list of
- 29:06Speaker 1: things they already accomplished. It is believed that making a
- 29:09Speaker 1: to do list may offload those concerns, resulting in less
- 29:13Speaker 1: worry before bed. All right. Study out of Baylor University
- 29:18Speaker 1: split fifty seven university students into two groups, with both
- 29:22Speaker 1: groups asked to take five minutes before bed to make
- 29:25Speaker 1: a list. One group was tasked with writing a list
- 29:28Speaker 1: of all the things they had to get done in
- 29:30Speaker 1: the day or days ahead, while the other had to
- 29:33Speaker 1: write a list of what they completed the previous day.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Both groups were told to go to bed right after
- 29:39Speaker 1: making their lists, so Steve here's your question. Do you
- 29:42Speaker 1: have trouble sleeping? Are you constantly kept up worrying about
- 29:46Speaker 1: things you have to get done? We think we know
- 29:49Speaker 1: the answer sometimes, you know, I do have trouble sleeping
- 29:54Speaker 1: about the worries of you know, my life, what I
- 29:58Speaker 1: need to do, what I'm trying to accomplish. You know,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I have moments like that. It's not often, but I
- 30:05Speaker 1: do have moments like. When I have it, it's usually
- 30:08Speaker 1: the reason. Okay, I don't know what else you're dog,
- 30:20Speaker 1: I got a lot that I'm trying to company on
- 30:23Speaker 1: your dream board this year though good questions, good question.
- 30:29Speaker 1: To revamp and reorganize my company to make it more efficient.
- 30:36Speaker 1: But one of my goals is to hire really top
- 30:39Speaker 1: flight people because I've been generous to a fault. I've
- 30:44Speaker 1: given people opportunities who've taken advantage of that. Uh And
- 30:49Speaker 1: then you know, I feel sorry for their families and stuff,
- 30:51Speaker 1: and I keep them on way past when they should
- 30:54Speaker 1: be gone. And for the first time, I'm having a
- 30:58Speaker 1: system put in place where people are accountable for accomplishing
- 31:02Speaker 1: certain things and if you don't, then you lose your
- 31:05Speaker 1: job yourself, and it takes the onus off of me
- 31:08Speaker 1: having to fire somebody. If you don't perform up to
- 31:12Speaker 1: the requirements, then you lose your position. So so so
- 31:18Speaker 1: will you actually tell them or you have someone you
- 31:21Speaker 1: have someone to say, you know I have fired I mean,
- 31:30Speaker 1: you know I have things in place now. I'm not
- 31:33Speaker 1: so bogged down with the technical aspects of my life.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And that's one of the things that I've been doing wrong.
- 31:40Speaker 1: For years. I've been involved in every aspect of my life,
- 31:45Speaker 1: which helps no, because I want to have no but
- 31:48Speaker 1: it worried it just too much, kind like micromanaging in
- 31:52Speaker 1: terms of being involved in everything. Right, I don't micro
- 31:56Speaker 1: manage because I do give people to freedom, but in
- 32:00Speaker 1: giving them that freedom, they've taken advantage of my business
- 32:04Speaker 1: and so now they know I'm busy, so they never
- 32:06Speaker 1: perform and they just keep getting their check, you know.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Or woke me up, I realized, I said, in my company,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I'm the only person who has to come to work.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Other people can miss. I have to perform and I
- 32:20Speaker 1: have to make the grade other people don't have. I
- 32:23Speaker 1: have no one else in my company has to do that.
- 32:25Speaker 1: That stops. That's on the tree. Does that answer your question, nephew, Yes,
- 32:30Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Time for today's headlines. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 32:33Speaker 1: Miss Anne Tripp you, thank you, everybody. Good morning. This
- 32:37Speaker 1: is a trip with the news. In Washington, the House
- 32:39Speaker 1: Oversight Committee has vote to authorize subpoenis for business related
- 32:42Speaker 1: personal emails and text messages, part of a wide ranging
- 32:45Speaker 1: program to whether Trump top level of members of the
- 32:47Speaker 1: Trump administration of broken federal records laws by using private
- 32:51Speaker 1: accounts for official purposes. Committee chairman is Elijah Cummings my
- 32:55Speaker 1: own August and make it too hot to handle for
- 32:58Speaker 1: the Senate not to take up. There are serious questions
- 33:01Speaker 1: about this White House is use a personal email and
- 33:06Speaker 1: tax accounts, and we must issue the subpoenas to get
- 33:11Speaker 1: our answers. Among the top targets our first daughter of Vanka,
- 33:13Speaker 1: Trump's son in lawd Jared Kutchner, and former White House
- 33:16Speaker 1: advisors Steve Bannon. Republicans claim the move is merely political. However,
- 33:19Speaker 1: Democrats remind them about how the GOP treated Hillary Clinton
- 33:23Speaker 1: for conducting some official business via her private email account.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Donald Trump's campaign rallies, you may remember, often ended with
- 33:29Speaker 1: his supporters chanting lock her up, Lock her up, Lock
- 33:32Speaker 1: her up. Sixteen Marines from Camp Pelton in California arrested
- 33:35Speaker 1: for their alleged involvement in several crimes, including human smuggling
- 33:39Speaker 1: and drug crimes. Those arrested ranging and rank from private,
- 33:42Speaker 1: first class to corporal. Meanwhile, authorities say another eight marines
- 33:45Speaker 1: about to be questioned on drug related charges as part
- 33:47Speaker 1: of another case. Entirely it's at time. Democrats are marking
- 33:51Speaker 1: two hundred days since they regained control of the House,
- 33:53Speaker 1: and Speaker Nancy Pelosi says her colleagues are not letting
- 33:57Speaker 1: the people who sent them to Congress down. We will
- 33:59Speaker 1: own all, I guess to make it too hot to
- 34:01Speaker 1: handle for the Senate not to take up our bills.
- 34:06Speaker 1: We promised to lower healthcare cost and have sent ten
- 34:10Speaker 1: bills to the Senate to reduce prescription drugs criss, protect
- 34:14Speaker 1: the pre existing condition, and reverse the GOP sabotage of
- 34:18Speaker 1: healthcare as he Pullosi, by the way, was on the
- 34:20Speaker 1: White House steps and that's where she was getting those
- 34:22Speaker 1: laugh that laughter. Lawmakers are preparing to leave Washington for
- 34:25Speaker 1: a five week break. By the way, Okay. Donald Trump
- 34:28Speaker 1: is reportedly forcefully objecting, he says, to Sweden's decision to
- 34:32Speaker 1: charge rapper asap Rocky with assault. He's asking the government
- 34:35Speaker 1: of Sweden to let a Saparrocki go. Rocky recently charged
- 34:39Speaker 1: with assault and connection with a fight he got into
- 34:42Speaker 1: with a man he says was following him and taunting him.
- 34:45Speaker 1: And asap Rocky has other support besides that the video
- 34:47Speaker 1: supports him, that they show that this guy apparently was
- 34:50Speaker 1: following him. However, some of his support from people chipping
- 34:53Speaker 1: away fans remembering some of the things asap Rocky said
- 34:57Speaker 1: over the years. For instance, some black folks are remembering
- 34:59Speaker 1: how a Star Rocky responded to the killing of Michael
- 35:01Speaker 1: Brown and Ferguson, Missouri. Asap Rocky said, quote, I don't
- 35:05Speaker 1: want to talk about no f and Ferguson and stuff
- 35:07Speaker 1: because I don't live over there. I live in FF
- 35:09Speaker 1: and SOHO when Beverly Hills. I can't relate well. One
- 35:12Speaker 1: form of fan tweets back asap Rocky said he didn't
- 35:15Speaker 1: want to talk about police brutality and Ferguson because he
- 35:17Speaker 1: lives in SOHO in Beverly Hills and can't relate well.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I've never been to Sweden, can't relate. You're on your
- 35:24Speaker 1: own chief. Finally, today is tell him all about a day.
- 35:33Speaker 1: So if you have anything to say, tell him about
- 35:34Speaker 1: it today. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 35:37Speaker 1: you're listening to. All right, it's time for something funny,
- 35:43Speaker 1: of course, and we're gonna go Junior year up. First
- 35:46Speaker 1: truth be told. Play the phone call. I can't help
- 35:51Speaker 1: you take a phone call. I got this weekend. You know,
- 35:55Speaker 1: I love I love people in old neighborhood being going
- 35:59Speaker 1: to the doctor. Got some bad news. But I'm not
- 36:02Speaker 1: a person to call. When you get some bad news,
- 36:04Speaker 1: you get me bad news. I get you right off
- 36:06Speaker 1: of me, right back on to you. That's what I do.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I can't bad dude. So Tommy Pete calling man, he's
- 36:13Speaker 1: like man, dog got a bad heart, he say, duck

- 36:20Speaker 1: right there. And I said, hey, Pete, breathe slow. Really, hey, hey,
- 36:28Speaker 1: you got the information for the bad heart. We can't
- 36:30Speaker 1: upset you no kind of way. Your heart not good
- 36:33Speaker 1: right now, so you need't take your time, make the
- 36:35Speaker 1: last as long as you can't. Just breathe slow. You
- 36:38Speaker 1: got a bad He got a big yeah, look at him.
- 36:43Speaker 1: They ain't got to be just take a step for
- 36:48Speaker 1: I gave some good right having big lips. I can
- 36:54Speaker 1: not kill you. We didn't make it that far. Whether
- 36:57Speaker 1: he died or nothing, we didn't make it that far.
- 36:59Speaker 1: But I understand bad heart and hard tramp because I
- 37:03Speaker 1: think you won't mind right. I just want to let
- 37:07Speaker 1: you know, as a matter of fact, Pete, you don't
- 37:10Speaker 1: find nothing else funny, because if you get rapped up,
- 37:13Speaker 1: you're taking time off that heart. As a matter of fact,
- 37:17Speaker 1: the next relationship you get into doctor work because you
- 37:20Speaker 1: can't afford no heartaches, can't you can't have none of that.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Matter of fact, pet when you go to sleep, sleep
- 37:28Speaker 1: light because of deep sleep might be too much work
- 37:32Speaker 1: on that one hole. Just won't you understand? I understand
- 37:36Speaker 1: where you're coming from. I just ain't one to help you.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Got a bad hole, No, you got a bad heart.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Ain't my phone, none of them. I can't help you.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Got on it off the line with no. I'm sorry
- 37:51Speaker 1: to hear not, Pete. Have you seen a doctor if
- 37:55Speaker 1: you knew what Pete did, he don't gonna read your bill.
- 38:02Speaker 1: You can't get rammed up. No kind of weight are
- 38:06Speaker 1: you on any medication? None of that came to mind. No,
- 38:09Speaker 1: surely you can't have this one. That's all I thought about.
- 38:13Speaker 1: If you knew what Pete did to get the man
- 38:15Speaker 1: he was calling you in the first place. I thought.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I thought he's looking for hard Yeah. Back to ten Man.
- 38:24Speaker 1: All people doing a lot of bad things. Now he's
- 38:29Speaker 1: talk about dog Man. They talked about I need a

- 50:48Speaker 1: there on Monday at eight. Okay, I got I got
- 50:50Speaker 1: one more thing I need to say. It got to

- 50:55Speaker 1: thing to say to you. Go ahead, go ahead, I
- 50:57Speaker 1: say that you're listening. I'm listening this for work has well?
- 51:01Speaker 1: Just what I want to tell you. I mean, this
- 51:04Speaker 1: is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 51:07Speaker 1: just got pranked by your brother Eric love that I
- 51:15Speaker 1: put you up to this. I'm so glad this is
- 51:19Speaker 1: a joke because somebody was about to die. So you
- 51:26Speaker 1: are right, man. Oh man, that's a good one. You
- 51:29Speaker 1: are right. Oh. I need a drink, man, man, Yeah, Man, Hey,
- 51:35Speaker 1: I got one more thing I gotta ask you, man,
- 51:37Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the lane? Man?
- 51:40Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all crazy? All right? What
- 51:47Speaker 1: y'all think it's crazy callins my work work quite yes, yes, boy. One,
- 52:10Speaker 1: you can't say work is your word. That's got an
- 52:16Speaker 1: agent Carlos embarrassed. You can't say work, that's a work wife,
- 52:23Speaker 1: and you're struggling with wife and what and you need
- 52:27Speaker 1: air for that one? Well, I'll tell you what. I
- 52:29Speaker 1: got something that's gonna be a little more pleasant for
- 52:31Speaker 1: your second Friday. I got a party, a full fledge
- 52:34Speaker 1: party that I am hosting for the one and only
- 52:37Speaker 1: w da S Summer Suarege. Sounds like Philly to me, babies,
- 52:41Speaker 1: So come, if you're coming to Philadelphia, you're gonna be
- 52:43Speaker 1: there for the Camp Alpha Side Attorney Incorporated, the Conclave
- 52:46Speaker 1: going on that weekend. We will be up the Grand Ballroom,
- 52:49Speaker 1: thirty eight oh one First District Plaza in Philadelphia. It's
- 52:53Speaker 1: a party. It is a comedy show. It is a party.
- 52:56Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 52:58Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right now. You're listening to show, all right, Tommy,
- 53:05Speaker 1: this time, buckle up, hold on time. We gotta fun here.
- 53:08Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry lett up. Who this is my account?
- 53:12Speaker 1: Let's go No, it's not subject My mom my, mama,
- 53:17Speaker 1: my mom might be a side piece, right, Dear Stephen
- 53:23Speaker 1: Shirley and oh hey Tommy, that's what it says. Hey Tommy, Okay,
- 53:29Speaker 1: let's get to it. I don't think so, though, I
- 53:34Speaker 1: think you will. I think you'll find something different in
- 53:38Speaker 1: this letter. My mom is fifty two years old and
- 53:40Speaker 1: she's been dating this guy for ten years. He's very
- 53:44Speaker 1: good to her. He winds and dines her and spoils
- 53:47Speaker 1: her with gifts and money. He also attends our family
- 53:51Speaker 1: events and holiday celebrations with her. Whenever I need anything,
- 53:55Speaker 1: He's been there for me. So here's my issue. He
- 53:58Speaker 1: lives three hours away, and when he comes to visit
- 54:01Speaker 1: my mom, he rarely stays a full weekend with her
- 54:05Speaker 1: at her house. He has two children, but my mother
- 54:08Speaker 1: has never met them. He says he is divorced, but
- 54:11Speaker 1: I don't believe him. My mom has visited him many times,
- 54:15Speaker 1: but she's only stayed at his condo once. He's a
- 54:18Speaker 1: doctor and he works long hours and he's often on
- 54:22Speaker 1: call on the weekend. Because of this, he insists that
- 54:26Speaker 1: he stay at a closer hotel, at a hotel closer
- 54:29Speaker 1: to the hospital, just in case he has to rush
- 54:32Speaker 1: into work. She usually talks to him when he's at
- 54:34Speaker 1: his office, and he always calls from a blocked number.
- 54:38Speaker 1: He rarely calls her from his cell phone. That just
- 54:41Speaker 1: doesn't sound right to me. How is my mom okay
- 54:45Speaker 1: with that? And why does she get upset? Why don't
- 54:48Speaker 1: Why does she get upset when I bring it up?
- 54:51Speaker 1: My mom is a very smart woman, and she's usually
- 54:54Speaker 1: a great judge of character. So Code Cracker, please tell
- 54:58Speaker 1: me how I can get through to my mom. I
- 55:00Speaker 1: don't want her to waste another ten years of her
- 55:02Speaker 1: life on this man. Please help. Well, I gotta tell
- 55:05Speaker 1: you this, daughter, You love your mom. That's quite obvious.
- 55:10Speaker 1: You want the best for your mom, just like I'm
- 55:12Speaker 1: sure your mom would want the best for you as
- 55:14Speaker 1: her daughter. But this is your mom's business and you're
- 55:18Speaker 1: her daughter. You know you're gonna have to stay out
- 55:21Speaker 1: of your mom's business. You can suggest and let her
- 55:25Speaker 1: know how you feel, but this is your mom's issue.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I mean, you know what's up. I think you're very
- 55:31Speaker 1: insightful as a daughter. Guess what your mom knows what's
- 55:34Speaker 1: up too? She really does. She knows, but after being
- 55:37Speaker 1: in it for ten years, and yes she's known it
- 55:41Speaker 1: for quite some time ten years, she's in it. Okay,
- 55:45Speaker 1: she's used to it. She doesn't want to stop it.
- 55:48Speaker 1: She doesn't want to leave, she doesn't want to change
- 55:50Speaker 1: her life. This is a life she's become accustomed to,
- 55:52Speaker 1: she's become accustomed to and grown into. She's comfortable with
- 55:56Speaker 1: this life. As parents, yes, we set examples for our kids.
- 56:00Speaker 1: We do. Your daughter, you, as her daughter, You're you're
- 56:04Speaker 1: seeing her actions loudly and clearly. You're wondering where her
- 56:07Speaker 1: self respect is. You're wondering how and why she signed
- 56:10Speaker 1: up for this situation. Uh. Yeah, it sounds clear that
- 56:14Speaker 1: this man is married. Your mom has never met his
- 56:17Speaker 1: kids after ten years. You know, the hotel situation where
- 56:20Speaker 1: he stays, the excuse he gives her for staying at
- 56:23Speaker 1: the hotel. All of that sounds like this is a
- 56:26Speaker 1: married man and your mom is a side piece. But
- 56:29Speaker 1: only your mom can decide, you know, whether or not
- 56:32Speaker 1: she wants to get out. All you can do is
- 56:34Speaker 1: her daughter is suggested. But you know she's a mom,
- 56:36Speaker 1: you're the daughter. You got to stay out of her business. Steve, Well,
- 56:40Speaker 1: my mom may be the side piece. Well, all right,
- 56:44Speaker 1: your mom will fifty two years old, she grown, she
- 56:47Speaker 1: knows what's going on. She's been dating a gay for
- 56:50Speaker 1: ten years. He's very good to her. He winds and dians,
- 56:53Speaker 1: spoils and with gifts and money. He also, now here's me.
- 56:56Speaker 1: He also attends how family events and holiday celebrations with her.
- 57:04Speaker 1: That is usually a telltale sign that a man is married.
- 57:09Speaker 1: When you never see him at the family events and
- 57:12Speaker 1: you never see him at the holiday celebrations, that's usually
- 57:18Speaker 1: the telltale sign. But he's at these events, and I
- 57:23Speaker 1: know why. Whenever I need anything, he's been there for me.
- 57:27Speaker 1: So here's my issue. He lives three hours away. When
- 57:31Speaker 1: he comes to visit my mom, he rarely stays a
- 57:33Speaker 1: full weekend with her at her house. He has two children,
- 57:37Speaker 1: but my mother has never met them. He says he's divorced,
- 57:40Speaker 1: but I don't believe him. My mom has visited him
- 57:44Speaker 1: many times, but she's only stayed at his condo once.
- 57:48Speaker 1: He's a doctor. He works long hours and he's often
- 57:51Speaker 1: on calls on the weekend. Because of this, he insists
- 57:55Speaker 1: that he stayed at a hotel closer to the hospital
- 57:59Speaker 1: just in case he has to rush you into work.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Good doctor, right now, let's stop right here. Let's just
- 58:06Speaker 1: back up a little bit. If he's so concerned with
- 58:10Speaker 1: being called in to work that before he stays at
- 58:13Speaker 1: the hottestpital hotel closer to the hospital, why didn't he
- 58:17Speaker 1: buy his condo so far away from the hospital. If
- 58:22Speaker 1: that's your concern, you would have bought a house closer
- 58:25Speaker 1: to the damn hospital. But it's only a concern when
- 58:29Speaker 1: you come to visit and you've been to the condo once.
- 58:33Speaker 1: That's because all the coast was clear that one time.
- 58:38Speaker 1: He lives three hours away when he visited. He rarely
- 58:40Speaker 1: stays a four weekend because he didn't told somebody he
- 58:45Speaker 1: on't call down at the hospital. That's what that is.
- 58:52Speaker 1: He attends family boots and holiday celebrations with hub because
- 58:59Speaker 1: he's a doctor, and you can say I'm on call.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I'm working over the holidays, so you can make it
- 59:10Speaker 1: if you a doctor. Now, somebody back at the house
- 59:14Speaker 1: has had to understand this because they are the beneficiary
- 59:18Speaker 1: of a wonderful lifestyle, so they putting up with it. Now,
- 59:23Speaker 1: your mama is also a beneficiary of a wonderful lifestyle,
- 59:27Speaker 1: so she putting up with it. I want you to
- 59:31Speaker 1: know that everybody knows what's going on. Except his wife.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Oh did I say, why everybody know what's going on
- 59:41Speaker 1: except the wife, because mom certainly knows. I hope I'll
- 59:47Speaker 1: be may just killing this man life perfectly. We'll be
- 59:55Speaker 1: back in twenty three after the hour you're listening morning show.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Let's go, Steve, come on, let me get back to
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: this letter. Unlike my nephew, who is not the thankingest
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: person I've ever met, who is insisting that I'm killing
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: this man's wonderful life, I totally disagree. I just hope
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: you never any medical assistance. This man's life will continue
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: just the way it is, because the only one that
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: has to keep going along with this is this letter
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: writer's mama, who is fifty two years old, who already
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: know what's going on, and the reason she's angry with
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: her daughter When her daughter brings it up, she gets
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: upset because now you know what she knows, and she
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: don't want to deal with it, which you she wants
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: to deal with this problem in situation all her own.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: This man is giving her lifestyle moments of happiness that
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: she's unable to find anywhere else, and she'll never find
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: it anywhere else because you'll never be able to meet
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: mister Wright. Why are you dating mister wrong? So look, Tommy,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: regardless as to how you want to put this, let
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: me try to save your marriage or you mess this
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: your stupid ass, just shut up. It is because he
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: always want to be supportive of the cheetah. Then when
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: one of them getting busted, now he looking at all
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: crazy to talking about what he did wrong. This man
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: right here, this fifty two year old woman knows what's
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: going on with this. Ten years of dating a divorced
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: man and you ain't met his kids yet in ten years.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: You mean that none of the holiday and none of
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the family reunions, family even have you met this get
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: what do you want? What do the chearing have to
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: do with their relationship? That is cheering the cheers, it's
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: just another issue which solidifies what the daughter is thinking
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: that something is wrong that you dated a man for
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: ten years and never met his kids and he divorced.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You would think a man who was in love with
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: you would want to say, hey, kids, I want you
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: all to meet this woman that i'm in love with.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I'm considering having a life with her. But he ain't
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: gonna make that announcement because he can't have a life
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: with her because he got a life with Tate Mama. Yep,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: now you get it, nephew, your stupid steven man right
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: now now, whatever I need anything, he's always been there
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: for me. Yeah, that's why you've let it go on
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: so long. Oh letter writer, you got something to do
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: with this too, because it was good to you. Na,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you'n't got a little bit older and you ready to stop.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: But the problem is it's easy for you to stop
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: because you ain't in love with the doctor, but your
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: mama is. Though. The fact that he lives three away,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: three hours away, ain't got nothing to do it. He said,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: he divorced, But I don't believe him. Your mama don't know.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Your mama know he ain't the more. But your mama
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: liked what she's eat He's a doctor, he worked long,

- 1:03:25Speaker 1: bring it up? I told you that my mom is
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: a very smart woman. Now when she's thinking with her heart,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: only when she's thinking with her head, is she's smart?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: So cold cracking? Please tell me how I can get
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: this through to this my mom. You can't your mom

- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I thought it might be cool that we salute different
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: types of workers. A lot of workers listen to the show,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: cafeteria workers, doctors, muticians. So today was gonna salute the
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: people who work to drive through the stuff they hear, okay,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: any day they hit us everyday? All right? All right,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: for instance, let's go no need to cuss, sir. Breakfast
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: is over, okay? All right? Why because this is two o'clock, Sir.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I wouldn't have servant breakfast anymore. June. You get this
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: is something that live drive through workers go through, that
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: they have they day, every day, every day, Sir. You're
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: gonna have to get that muffler fixed so I can
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: hear you. I can't get this order in if you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: don't get the muffler fixed. Its every day, Sir, I
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: cannot tell you two nuggets by themselves. We sell them
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: in ten twelve. Come on now, I can't just get
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: your two nuggets. I can't do that, man, Sir, did
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you read your order on the screen. It's we're dealing
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: with drive through workers. What they have to hear every
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: single day? Miss you bought one large fry? You want
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: twenty catchups? Really, that's me you want? You want twenty twenty?
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You are just wasting, Yeah, just wasting catch up. I
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: tell I'll tell you what. This is one that I
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: know they deal with. Pull up that The lady started
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: talking to somebody else talking about ma'am. Look who's ordering?
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: You are the baby. I can't hear both of y'all
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: who is ordering? We salute people, Uh, ma'am. I can't
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: give you thirty extra napkins so you can change your baby.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I can't do I can't do that, man, I can't
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: do that. Okay, we can't just give away these napkins
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: like that. Wow, you're wrong for that up. We McDonald's.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: We all make woppers. Now that has happened to everyone everyone. Yeah,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: come on, Steve, close it out, drive through workers. What
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: we feel you now? We really do, yes, come on,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: close it out. Just a damn tort. I don't pack
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: all right? All right, yeah we feel your pain. Drive
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: through workers. You're listening to Steve Morning Show. These are
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey's rules for living with someone until you get
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: on your feet. These are dudes, and don'ts Okay, some
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: things you need to keep in mind. Here's one right here.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Your goal every day is to make it seem like
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you there but you're not. That works, Yeah, that's your goal.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: That's when you wake up, get it in your mouth.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: You have to wait him, but look like I ain't
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: because you I get asked to me. Now you don't
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: want that. Here's another one. This is very important. Your
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: car should never block me in. I can't want to
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: go out and I go out there and your car
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: in the day where you in that sleep. Yeah, in fact,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I got news for you. Your car shouldn't even be
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: in front of the house. Park up the street and
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: walk down to where you live. Rent free round the corner. Yeah,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: park at the up the street, at the parking lot,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: at the grocery store, if you're watching TV in the
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: other room. Yeah, your laugh should not be where I
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: can hear lay down the good bucket. This should be
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: learned how to laugh like this. Let me show you
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: how you laugh from your other people's You can't be
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: enjoying their TV and all this because how you leave
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: what it is real funny. That's gonna be hard. Yeah,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: steve to put me out. That's I don't give a
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: damn what you want. Here's another one. Don't let me
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: walk in the house and have to tell you to
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: get out of my chair. You should only sit. I'm
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: gonna tell you the areas you are to sit there, kitchen,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: your bad ruler, and occasionally in the band. Don't be
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: taking read material in that what you hear? Focus? Focus,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: stare at the toilet tissue role, How do your business?
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Get up? Get out now. You didn't put it in
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the fridge, don't touch it in the that's the man
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: he bought one colt. That's all you reaching the touch.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Don't be shifting stuff around looking all in the back
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: read labels. You didn't. You didn't put it in. Now
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: get your hands off. Man. When you come home from work,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: go right to your room. Nothing in him, Straight to
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: your room, all down the hallway, looking at all, looking
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: at where is this in the picture. Ain't that's my
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: damn grandmama? Quit asking about her? Why are you roaming around?
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Right Roman, Listen to me. If I'm watching TV and
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: I get up, walk out that room, don't change your damn.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I don't mean I'm gone. Don't change that damn sitting
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: there watching it together, and our dolls are watch what
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I was watching for our doughs. Let me off my
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: eyes and natural geographic is gone. I should wake up
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: to when I went to sleep. Let me here's one
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: more so serious. Yeah, this has happened, not a matter
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: of fact. Let me make this laugh. You can only
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: have company where the company lived. Come over and I
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: have a company. Hell yeah, wherever they stay. You're going
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: be in the company of your company all you want,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: but your company. All right, we'll be back with more
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: of the Steam Harvey Morning Show right after you're listening
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: to show. All right, guys. So there's this website called
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: morning consult dot com. It came out with the most
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: loved sports media personalities, like a list of who's the
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: most beloved On down the list, they found that Peyton
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Manning is the most beloved personality in sports media right now. Now,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: would you guys beg to differ without Okay now I don't. Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: well you know what it is though, his commercial commercial
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: exactly right. Yeah, people really love his commercials. Media person Yeah,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: the most loved is Serena. Okay, all right, I'm not
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: mad at you about that media personality personality. Yeah, that's
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Serena out to me. Yeah, people love Peyton Manning's commercials.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Tommy and Serena has a couple of commercials out. That
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Lincoln commercial is really cute. But anyway, they love his
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: guest appearances and his shows. Now rounding out the top
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: five are Al Michael's, Dan Patrick, Jim Nance, Charles Barkley,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: What yes, my man? Charles top five? Yes, if he
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: was here, he probably say funk about this. Ernie ain't
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: mate the top five all right now, Shack ain't making
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: in the top five. Henning not in there. I'm only
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: in the top five. That's how I need to know. Hey,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: what about stephen A. Smith? Finish? Stephen A. Smith not
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: in the top five? Ain't none at him? In the
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: top five. Thank you, Charleson congratulate, Thank you very much.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Thank you. You're one of the most loved sports media personalities. Okay,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: all right, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, it's time for something funny, of course,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: and we're gonna go. Junior. You're up first. Truth be told,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Truth be told. I can't help you, but let me
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: take a phone call. I got this weekend, and you
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: know I love I love Pete people on old neighborhood
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: being going to the doctor. Got some bad news. But
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I'm not a person to call when when you get
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: some bad news. Now you get me bad news. I
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: get you right off of me and right back over you.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: That's what I do. I get a bad dude. So
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: dog Tommy, Pete call man. He's like man, dog got
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: a bad heart. He said, Doctor say, I'm gonna have
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: to have a heart transplant. Right then, I said, hey, Pete,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: breathe slow, really, hey, hey, you got the information for
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: the bad heart. We can't upset you no kind of way.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Your heart not good right now. So you don't even
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: take your time make the last to load your just
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: breathe slow. You got a bad he got where? Yeah,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: look at they ain't got to be taking a step first.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I gave some good invite. Huh, havn't been lips? I
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: can I kill you. We didn't make it that whether
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: he died or nothing. We didn't make it that far.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: But I understand bad, hard and hard trampact. Because I
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: think you won't mind right now. I just want to
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: let you know, as a matter of fact, pet you
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: don't find nothing else funny, because if you get rapped up,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: you're taking time off that heart. As a matter of fact,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: the next relationship you get into got to work because
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: you can't afford no hard ain't you can't. You can't
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: have none of that matter of fact. Feet when you
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: go to sleep, sleep light because of deep sleep might
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: be too much work on that hole. Just won't you understand?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I unders that where you're coming from. I just ain't
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: the one to help that. You got a bad hole. No,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: you got a bad heart. Ain't my phone, no, none
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: of them. I can't help you. Got it off the
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: line with no. I'm sorry to hear that, not, Pete,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: have you seen a doctor if you knew what Pete
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: did his heart rate. Don't even read your bills. You
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: can't get wrapped up. No kind of weight are you
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: on any medication? None of that came to mind. No,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: sure that is you can't have this. That's all I
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: thought about. If you knew what Pete did to get
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: you bad, that he was calling you in the first place,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I thought, I thought he's looking far hard t man.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: All people doing a lot of bad things. And now
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: you talk about dog man, they talk about I need
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: new heart. They breeze slope, breeze slope. You ain't getting
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: it over here, all right? Your life truth be told?
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: All right? Coming up, it's Steve Harvey and his closing remarks.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: You don't want to miss it. At forty nine after
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: the hour, you're listening. All right, Here we are, Steve,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a great day though, Steve.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Now it's time for you to take us home with
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: your closing remarks. My closing remarks today are going to
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: be based around the value of yourself. I think this
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: is important. Tommy sent this to me, you know, a
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: bill board, and it really triggered me to thinking I'm
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: gonna share that with you, but it all pertains to
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: the value of yourself. This can pertain to you in
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: terms of reaching your goals, your dreams, all in business,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: and this is for you to consider in the relationship
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: of love. It is amazing to me why I talk
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: to people and people talk about how they're being treated
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: and handled and represented and dealt with, and how they
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: can't seem to get nobody to see they value and
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: their worth. And I'm sending a bit going, wait a minute,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: wait a minute. You can't try to get someone to
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: see something in you that you don't see in yourself.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: It starts with you. You know, you've all heard the
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: saying beauty is on the inside. It's not just skin deep.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: That's true. Confidence is not an outward emotion. It's something
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: that starts from within. Everything starts from within, and it
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: exudes and and and and manifest itself in the outward
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: shape or form. So if you want people to value you,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: you must first value yourself. I tell my daughters all
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: the time, you can train a man how to treat
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: you well, Daddy, how do you train a man You
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: just don't accept bad treatment from him. If you don't
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: accept bad treatment from him, little girl of mine, then
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: guess what he can't keep giving it to you. A
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: person can only treat you the way you allow them
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: to do it. If you don't accept a man coming
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: to pick you up late all the time, but you
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: stop going with him every time he late, the next
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: time he want to go out with you, he got
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: to be on time. Now. If he don't want to
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: be on time, then guess what. You don't go out.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: You've trained him how to treat you, and if he
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: don't line up with what you want, then guess what
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: he not for you. At least you don't have to
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: be mistreated the way he want to treat you by
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: simply not allowing him to treat you any way he
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: wants to. You cannot have high value for yourself and
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: affect someone else to have a high value of you.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: That goes into the same thing with business. You can't
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: go in and ask for a raise if you don't
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: think you deserve one. What would cause you to walk
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: in there and ask for a raise if you don't
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: think you deserve one, If you don't have the facts
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: to back up a raise, You can't want more money
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: just because you don't spend all the money you had.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: You got to go in there and ask for a
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: raise because you can show value to the company. You're
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: worth this much more to the company. The company has
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: become this because of you. Then you can show your value.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Then you can go in there with a raise, and
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: you can go in there with some confidence with the raids.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: It happens with goals and dreams. If you aim too low,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: your problem is you might hit it. But I'm gonna
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: say that for tomorrow. So it's what you think of yourself,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: how you value yourself, that matters most. Now, let me
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: tell you what was sent to me. I listen to
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: this real careful, because this is gonna register with a
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: lot of people. Listen to me. If you aren't being
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: treated with love and respect, check your price tag. Maybe
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: you've marked yourself down. It's you who tells people what
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: you're worth. Get off the clearest rack and get behind
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: the glass where they keep the value. It's you who
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: tells people what you're worth. Get off the clearest rack
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: and get behind the glass where they keep the value.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Stop acting like you a sidewalk sale. Stop acting like
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you can be picked up at the swap meet. Stop
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: acting like you belong in the junkyard. You're a new car,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: don't act like an old car. I don't care how
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: old you are to somebody. You got to be a
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: new car. Stop putting yourself on the sales rack when
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: clearly you deserve full price. If you lure the value
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: for yourself, that's what we'll pay for you, and that's
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: how we'll treat you, and that's how we respect. If
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you don't respect yourself, if I see you constantly disrespecting yourself,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: then you're gonna turn to me and demand respect. How
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: does that work? That be a coat where they got
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: the lock on it. See, you can't take me off
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: the rat and just try me on. No, that ain't
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: how this work. See. But now you go over that
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: to that valuable section in the store. You everybody been
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: to Mason's. You got that stuff where you got to
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: go get a salesperson to come and unlock it for
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: you to even try it on. That's cause they to
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: put a value on that. Or you're going over there
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: and just put the little shirt on. T shirts ain't
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: locked up. Anybody can get one. If you're steal his
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: T shirt, It ain't that bigger loss. They before dollars
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: pack of three. Come over here, body's swaye, Come over here,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: body's fur stuff. We got locks on this stuff right
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: here because it has value. We know it has value,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: so we can't just let you try to stop letting
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: people just try you on. You got it, put a
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: value to yourself, maintain it, you determine your value. Don't
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: let other people do it. You do it all right.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Those are my closing balls. Drop the mic, drop the mic. Baby,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: thank you, Tommy, appreciate pimp needed that, but that I
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: just need thought stars. Yeah, hey man, can I tell
