Tyrone Harris, a Texas inmate serving time for robbery and a 1996 child sexual assault conviction, died unexpectedly at the Stiles Unit on August 7. Found unresponsive on his bunk, he was pronounced dead that evening. The official cause and means of death remain unknown, prompting the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to order an autopsy.
