- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out to turn turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water go. Come come on your thing, h
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well, good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do
- 2:13Speaker 1: you understand that I'm telling you God been big in
- 2:16Speaker 1: my life. I'm not gonna kid you. I'm telling you
- 2:19Speaker 1: in here to do the same thing for you. God.
- 2:23Speaker 1: God is a gentleman, you know. I want to I
- 2:25Speaker 1: want to point that out to you. God is an
- 2:28Speaker 1: absolute gentleman. He will not come in unless he's invited.
- 2:35Speaker 1: He don't just barge into your life. He gives us
- 2:39Speaker 1: the power of choice. You know, if you say you
- 2:42Speaker 1: got it, I don't need you. He let you have it.
- 2:46Speaker 1: If you say I need you, come see about me.
- 2:49Speaker 1: He right there. It's just a real simple thing. Man.
- 2:53Speaker 1: So always say to people this. If you've gotten yourself
- 2:57Speaker 1: into something. Please know I have. I was stuck. I
- 3:05Speaker 1: thought a couple of times, well might not make it
- 3:10Speaker 1: past this one. But then if I don't make it
- 3:13Speaker 1: past it, what's gonna happen? And then I held on
- 3:17Speaker 1: to this little thing that my mother kept talking to
- 3:20Speaker 1: me about. She said, sometimes, so when you ain't got
- 3:23Speaker 1: nothing else in you, just hope, she said, just hope
- 3:27Speaker 1: it'll be all right, you know. And what I've learned
- 3:30Speaker 1: in my life is that hope is the beginning of faith. Hope.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's just is there a possibility out there for me?
- 3:41Speaker 1: I sure hope something happened. See hope, hope it's okay, man,
- 3:48Speaker 1: Because like I say, for me, the way I've lived
- 3:51Speaker 1: my life, hope was the beginning of faith. It was
- 3:54Speaker 1: just the idea. It's just the thought that something could
- 3:58Speaker 1: change from me, that something could be a little bit
- 4:01Speaker 1: different from me, that maybe, man, just maybe for some reason,
- 4:07Speaker 1: I could be saved, I could be rescued, Things could
- 4:10Speaker 1: turn around, it could head any other direction. Maybe I
- 4:14Speaker 1: could quit messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me, maybe
- 4:18Speaker 1: somebody will just say all right. I don't know, but
- 4:22Speaker 1: I can't count the times I've been in that position.
- 4:25Speaker 1: But then once I hope a little bit, and then
- 4:27Speaker 1: I remember also my mother, because she was a Sunday
- 4:30Speaker 1: school teacher. She taught me the most valuable lesson I've
- 4:34Speaker 1: ever learned in my life. Nothing has been greater in
- 4:37Speaker 1: my life than my faith. She taught me to pray.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Mamma used to say, when it get real, dog for
- 4:42Speaker 1: your son, prad changes things. She said, When you seem
- 4:46Speaker 1: like you lost and you can't finding your way, stop
- 4:51Speaker 1: and pray, she said, because prad changes things. You know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: when you get a point in your life when you've
- 4:57Speaker 1: done all you can do and you can't do no more,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and you just I don't know what to do next,
- 5:02Speaker 1: she says, stop, suh. Pray and combine that prayer with
- 5:07Speaker 1: that hope that you got, she said, because that hope
- 5:11Speaker 1: is the beginning of faith. She said. If you pray
- 5:14Speaker 1: just hoping, she's saying that God come through for you.
- 5:17Speaker 1: That will give you confidence that he can do it again.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And then after a while you quit hoping, she's saying,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you start believing. She saying, that's when you're on to something.
- 5:27Speaker 1: If you can turn that hope into belief, that hope
- 5:31Speaker 1: into faith, the ability to believe in something that you
- 5:35Speaker 1: can't see. But the key though the faith is you're
- 5:39Speaker 1: believing in something that you can't see. See hoping a
- 5:43Speaker 1: little bit different from me now, I'm pretty sure, Like
- 5:46Speaker 1: I say oftentimes to tell a lot of people who
- 5:48Speaker 1: can explain this thing a lot better than I can
- 5:50Speaker 1: to you, but just from my side of it, being
- 5:53Speaker 1: as real as I can be rich. See, hope helps. Man.
- 5:58Speaker 1: If you ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and then if you pray with some hope and God
- 6:04Speaker 1: answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and after a while that confidence becomes faith. Not ain't
- 6:13Speaker 1: just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that
- 6:17Speaker 1: I cannot see. Faith has been the key to my
- 6:24Speaker 1: entire existence, even when I didn't have any It was faith,
- 6:29Speaker 1: as I look back on it, that has gotten me here,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and not just faith, but my faith. See, you will
- 6:38Speaker 1: only get to where you're going in your life based
- 6:42Speaker 1: on your faith. See A lot of people get the
- 6:46Speaker 1: word faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they
- 6:49Speaker 1: started going down this whole list of all these different
- 6:52Speaker 1: religions out here. But really an essence man, when I
- 6:55Speaker 1: talk to people about faith, I'm talking to you about
- 6:58Speaker 1: your your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?
- 7:05Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the things you can't see?
- 7:09Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the impossible? How much
- 7:13Speaker 1: do you believe see? Because faith is the belief in
- 7:19Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. Faith is the core of
- 7:25Speaker 1: all that is happening to me today. It is the
- 7:28Speaker 1: faith that I have in my relationship with God that
- 7:32Speaker 1: enables me to just oftentimes, if I stay on the
- 7:38Speaker 1: right course and believe a certain way and act a
- 7:41Speaker 1: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come. And
- 7:48Speaker 1: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
- 7:50Speaker 1: started to notice, see, it ain't just a lot of
- 7:53Speaker 1: people think blessings is money now, man, that ain't it.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's coverage. It's every time my plane land safe. It's
- 8:02Speaker 1: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
- 8:05Speaker 1: in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You know this, This is favor. These are blessings that
- 8:12Speaker 1: get poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer
- 8:15Speaker 1: me something, not money, but an opportunity, you know. Somebody say, hey, man,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I don't know, but I sent this to you. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: thought you might be interested in it. Somebody has sent
- 8:27Speaker 1: me a scripture, or somebody will send me something that's favor,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and it always comes at a time when I need
- 8:35Speaker 1: it the most. That's favor, that's pouring out blessings. Now
- 8:40Speaker 1: I'm also the recipient of a lot of other blessings too.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You know, I've been blessed with health. That's amazing blessing. Man.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I've been blessed with a spirit of not quitting. I've
- 8:53Speaker 1: been blessed with the ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility. See,
- 9:00Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:04Speaker 1: into God, Once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:08Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:11Speaker 1: him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:15Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:18Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:21Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:24Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:26Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:29Speaker 1: Come on, if you're sitting in the cell this morning,
- 9:32Speaker 1: why why would you not change? You have a chance
- 9:35Speaker 1: to turn your life around with a relationship with God.
- 9:38Speaker 1: What you're waiting on. Are you gonna just keep doing
- 9:40Speaker 1: it like that? Huh? Really? Come on, man, why would
- 9:45Speaker 1: you do that to yourself? Why would you not allow
- 9:48Speaker 1: God to be a part of your life so you
- 9:50Speaker 1: can get the way He want you to be. God
- 9:52Speaker 1: got some big plans for you. If he didn't, you
- 9:54Speaker 1: wouldn't keep waking up. You're listening. What if everybody the
- 10:02Speaker 1: holidays are rolling around is getting closer and closer and
- 10:06Speaker 1: closer and closer. Listen, if you got old people in
- 10:09Speaker 1: your life and most of us, do do not fall?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Do not fall for this. You ain't got to get
- 10:16Speaker 1: me nothing. I'm okay. Just spend your money on your
- 10:18Speaker 1: kids and I'll be Don't fall for that, don't don't
- 10:22Speaker 1: don't get something. I'm all right. You've done enough through
- 10:26Speaker 1: the year, so don't wear about. I'm gonna be all right.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Just get some Do not fall for that. Ain't that
- 10:34Speaker 1: Ratieli Strawberry? That is that road? True? Shay, Oh my god,
- 10:39Speaker 1: don't do it and see what happens. Don't get them
- 10:43Speaker 1: anything and see good morning, good morning. What about you
- 10:48Speaker 1: calall up around my line? Am I telling the truth? You? Facts?
- 10:51Speaker 1: All facts? Don't fall for the oky dogs around? Good
- 10:57Speaker 1: morning everyone, Good morning, Good morning junior junior. Am I
- 11:00Speaker 1: line or am I telling the truth? But talk to
- 11:03Speaker 1: the truth. Jack, You're telling the truth, but I fall
- 11:05Speaker 1: for it. I like it. J J. You said, don't
- 11:13Speaker 1: get you that? What damn it? I ain't get you that.
- 11:15Speaker 1: You said, Hey, what you mean? Mean what you're saying?
- 11:19Speaker 1: Tell me what about you in my line? Or? Am
- 11:21Speaker 1: I telling the truth? Man? You're telling the truth. And
- 11:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna still get a gift card just to be
- 11:25Speaker 1: saying just a little something something. I'm just I'm gonna
- 11:28Speaker 1: put something on it. All right. That's another good question.
- 11:33Speaker 1: What's an impressive amount of money to put in a
- 11:36Speaker 1: card for older person, for an older person, for an
- 11:40Speaker 1: older person, not a child? You know? Yeah, hundred dollar bill?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, from fifty on up, I would say, But
- 11:49Speaker 1: that same older person will turn around and give you
- 11:52Speaker 1: five or ten dollars. Yea your podcast. Don't tell nobody right, yeah,
- 12:01Speaker 1: act like they give you a grand two pats on
- 12:05Speaker 1: the head and I love it with with the information. Now,

- 12:13Speaker 1: You and Jay this, you know, you my favorite tome.
- 12:27Speaker 1: But what is everybody else getting? Don't worry about that,
- 12:31Speaker 1: don't worry about how about this? But surely I've been

- 14:26Speaker 1: you're not gonna walk away. M God, I never thought
- 14:33Speaker 1: of that. Okay, different, All right, here we go. This
- 14:42Speaker 1: one's from Nick in Maryland. Uh. Nick is a thirty
- 14:46Speaker 1: three year old single man. He says his mother is
- 14:49Speaker 1: living with him. She's in town visiting my brother and
- 14:52Speaker 1: I when the pandemic hit and she decided it would
- 14:55Speaker 1: be better to stay in town at my house. My
- 14:58Speaker 1: brother is married and lived three miles away, but she
- 15:00Speaker 1: won't stay with him because she doesn't like his wife.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I can't have company or do anything I want to
- 15:07Speaker 1: do in my home because she is there. It's time
- 15:11Speaker 1: for her to go, but she won't fly. It's a
- 15:14Speaker 1: It's an eleven hour drive to her house, So how
- 15:16Speaker 1: can I get her out of my house? Should I drive?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Should I drive? Wow? Let me just say this. Let
- 15:23Speaker 1: me be bold with you, Nick, Please let me tell
- 15:26Speaker 1: you something, man. Let me I knew it because I
- 15:33Speaker 1: thought she said that your house. If you want to
- 15:38Speaker 1: bang in your house, you need to bang in your house.
- 15:41Speaker 1: A good way to get rid of your mama and
- 15:44Speaker 1: let her see how nasty you are. And if you're
- 15:47Speaker 1: nasty at at a certain level, stip it up. Stip
- 15:51Speaker 1: your wherever you are nasty right now, you need to
- 15:54Speaker 1: stip that up. He had to be the ashing lead. Leave.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm talking about lotions oils. Got my toys all over
- 16:10Speaker 1: the house, in the in the refrigerator. You want them
- 16:13Speaker 1: all over the house? Go ahead, time you got something,
- 16:17Speaker 1: you got a little bit of No God, I think
- 16:21Speaker 1: we should just let his brother drive her home since
- 16:24Speaker 1: he's you know, since she stayed at his house all
- 16:27Speaker 1: the time. Yeah, yeah, here, y'all go there, y'all go there,
- 16:31Speaker 1: y'all go with that logic. This this is from Charm.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I love that Charm. Charm in Pittsburgh. Charm says, I'm
- 16:39Speaker 1: twenty six years old and I've never had a man
- 16:41Speaker 1: to stick around for more than five or six months
- 16:44Speaker 1: because I've insects in my apartment. I'm very neat and clean,
- 16:49Speaker 1: and I don't even believe you heard me. You heard me?
- 16:53Speaker 1: She says she has insects. She says, Um, she doesn't
- 16:58Speaker 1: clean her cook. Um. I mean she does clean, and
- 17:01Speaker 1: she's very neat. She doesn't cook, so she blames her
- 17:04Speaker 1: neighbors for the roaches. I am ashamed to bring company
- 17:08Speaker 1: home because I never know if one will come out
- 17:11Speaker 1: and run across the floor. I can't afford to move,
- 17:14Speaker 1: so my landlord has had the exterminator come out many times,
- 17:18Speaker 1: but it doesn't help. I know I'm not the only
- 17:21Speaker 1: person with bugs, So why are the men tripping? Come on, better, man,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna hear. A lot of people don't notice, but
- 17:29Speaker 1: if you talk to your roaches in the house, they
- 17:32Speaker 1: will comply. Like to hire, I'm about to have some
- 17:35Speaker 1: company over here. I don't need y'all creeping out all
- 17:38Speaker 1: on the walls and all on the refrigerator and all
- 17:41Speaker 1: on the TV. He gonna be here by two hours.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Hold your post afterwards, and then you can roam around
- 17:46Speaker 1: the house free. Okay, she and one of ye I'm
- 17:49Speaker 1: gonna smash y ass. That's what I'm gonna do. I'm
- 17:52Speaker 1: smash ass. Okay, So he's gonna come in here two hours.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I'm enjoying my company, and then y'all gonna come out. Okay,
- 17:58Speaker 1: oh we cliff Cliff in front of comedy because they
- 18:05Speaker 1: can happen to night. I like it. Actually, yeah, actually
- 18:12Speaker 1: that was pretty cool, all right, junior? Right, they ain't insects.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Insects a sugar ants. Yeah, yeah, you got roaches. You
- 18:23Speaker 1: ain't got but but it's not her fault. So yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you don't have insect You got roaches, or you have
- 18:32Speaker 1: to get a slipper and be good at killing the
- 18:34Speaker 1: roach and just dusted off and keep talking. At the
- 18:36Speaker 1: same time, we're moving on. Maria and Baton Rouge says, uh.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I'm a newlywed woman and I was riding with my
- 18:45Speaker 1: husband last Friday evening and he came to a quick
- 18:47Speaker 1: stop at a light and a tube of lip cloths
- 18:49Speaker 1: rolled from under my seat. He asked him, yeah. I
- 18:53Speaker 1: asked him if he had another woman in his car,
- 18:55Speaker 1: and he said it's probably been on the car for years.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I must admit I acted a fool about the lip loss,
- 19:00Speaker 1: but he said my behavior is making him rethink marriage.
- 19:03Speaker 1: So am I supposed to overlook things like this to
- 19:06Speaker 1: keep that happy home? Come on, bitter man, when stuff
- 19:11Speaker 1: rolls up from under the car seat, Oh lord, we
- 19:14Speaker 1: all been there more, we all been there the first.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Come on first. First of all, whenever you find something
- 19:24Speaker 1: in your car, and if you're a true player, don't
- 19:28Speaker 1: try to return it to who you think is the
- 19:31Speaker 1: rightful owner. Okay, do not. If you find something you
- 19:35Speaker 1: don't know who it belonged to, your duty is to
- 19:38Speaker 1: throw it. Oh wait, no, throw it, throw it away,
- 19:41Speaker 1: throw it out the window, burn it. Don't try to
- 19:45Speaker 1: return who you think it belongs to. Now, rolling under
- 19:49Speaker 1: the seat, I like that could have been there for years.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That's a possibility that it's a possibility that you can't find.
- 19:56Speaker 1: That's a good one. That's Yeah. Sometimes you got to
- 20:01Speaker 1: flip the script, Jake. Sometimes if that that is something
- 20:04Speaker 1: like that, role like that, grab that thing, that lip
- 20:07Speaker 1: blouse and just put it on and smack your lips.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Oh by caller right here, Yeah, alright, alright, alright, good
- 20:20Speaker 1: color like that. That's some good live cloths. That's a
- 20:32Speaker 1: good some good lip gloss. All right, Coming up next,
- 20:35Speaker 1: the nephew is here to run that prank back right
- 20:37Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Morning Show. Coming up in
- 20:42Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. In Georgia, Democratic candidate John
- 20:46Speaker 1: assof will be our very special guest. Also, mister Anna
- 20:49Speaker 1: standing by with today's national news. The Electoral College confirms
- 20:53Speaker 1: Joe Biden won already knew it anyway. I already knew
- 20:57Speaker 1: it anyway. Attorney General Will You and Bar resigned last night,
- 21:01Speaker 1: and a nursing queens received the first COVID vaccine. Plus
- 21:06Speaker 1: an entertainment news will tell you about a Disney Pixar
- 21:09Speaker 1: film called Soul. It starts Jamie Fox. But right now
- 21:12Speaker 1: the nephew is here to run that prank back what
- 21:15Speaker 1: you got for his neff? Well, you know what happens
- 21:17Speaker 1: from time to time. You know, these kids can be
- 21:19Speaker 1: something else, but you know, things happen sometimes in people.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Badist things happened. The titled is one of the twins
- 21:29Speaker 1: is mine one. It's a possibility. It is you. Just
- 21:37Speaker 1: one of them is mine? Okay, you ain't gotta sell me,
- 21:40Speaker 1: you gotta stuff them. Let's go cat Dog, one of
- 21:46Speaker 1: those twins of mine. Hello, I'm trying to reach Tony. Yeah,
- 21:51Speaker 1: this is Tony, Tony. What's going on? Many brother? My
- 21:54Speaker 1: name is I'm trying to reach out to you. You

- 22:10Speaker 1: got I got a little problem, bro. Hopefully we can

- 23:33Speaker 1: That's what I thought. But I found out that two
- 23:36Speaker 1: seeds could actually join together create twins, and each one
- 23:40Speaker 1: of them could have a different daddy. I'm finding this
- 23:42Speaker 1: out for the first for firsthand myself. Oh man, you

- 24:00Speaker 1: Let me, let me, let me, let me tell me
- 24:02Speaker 1: out and listen to me. Let me ask you to
- 24:04Speaker 1: your set of twins. Are they are they? I mean,
- 24:07Speaker 1: are they the same shade of color? Are they different shades.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just asking. I'm never saying. Look, dogs,
- 24:13Speaker 1: let me tell you something, man. I want you to
- 24:14Speaker 1: get this through your head right now, man, whenever you
- 24:18Speaker 1: got that's on y'all. Man, this ain't got nothing to
- 24:20Speaker 1: do with my twins. Man, ain't got nothing to do
- 24:22Speaker 1: with my twins. Man, one of them dog skin? What

- 26:18Speaker 1: now you're trying to deprive me or man, I'm having
- 26:20Speaker 1: a relationship with my child. Man, I've been raising these
- 26:23Speaker 1: kids for five years, by my damn self. Man, I
- 26:26Speaker 1: get him up, I take him to ballet, man, I
- 26:28Speaker 1: take him to literally you understand me, man, No, my man, Tony,

- 26:39Speaker 1: uh I want you man, I want you to never
- 26:43Speaker 1: ever call me. I'm gonna call me with new ignorant
- 26:47Speaker 1: like this. What you say your name is? What? What? What?
- 26:50Speaker 1: What's your name again? Doc? My name? My name Kendrick. Man. Listen, listen, Tony.

- 28:27Speaker 1: talking about the baddest radio show in the land. Oh man,
- 28:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvard Morning Show. Man. I listened every morning. Man.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I just can't believe y'all got me man. Coming up
- 28:37Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, entertainment and national news
- 28:40Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes, Georgia Democratic Senate Canada John
- 28:51Speaker 1: Also will be our very special guest. You don't want
- 28:54Speaker 1: to miss that. But right now it is time for
- 28:56Speaker 1: today's entertainment news. You know we can't wait. I cannot
- 29:00Speaker 1: wait for this movie. I've been seeing the trailers of
- 29:03Speaker 1: Disney's Pixar. It's an all new feature film. It's called Soul,
- 29:06Speaker 1: and it stars Jamie Fox. Jamie Fox stars as Joe Gardner,
- 29:11Speaker 1: a middle school band teacher whose true passion is playing jazz.
- 29:15Speaker 1: We all have personalities. The film Soul asks the question
- 29:20Speaker 1: what makes what makes you you? Okay? That is the
- 29:23Speaker 1: questioned with it. They did Carla Girl, they did uh So,
- 29:29Speaker 1: Jamie Fox, Tina Faith, Felicia Rashad Quest Love, Angela Bassett,
- 29:34Speaker 1: David Diggs. Uh Disney Pixar's Soul is going to be
- 29:38Speaker 1: available on Christmas Day. I Love that exclusively on Disney Plus,
- 29:43Speaker 1: where Disney is available, and I can't wait this movie. Ye, yeah,
- 29:51Speaker 1: it really really does. Anyway, when they have a cartoon
- 29:54Speaker 1: and it's the voice of the person you yes, but
- 29:56Speaker 1: the cartoon don't look nothing like Jamie that Jamie's head shake. K. Yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 1: but it looks good. Yeah. What are you gonna say, Carla? Oh,
- 30:09Speaker 1: I was gonna say. I can really relate to this movie.
- 30:11Speaker 1: My daughter and I we can't wait to see Soul
- 30:14Speaker 1: because Tasha, she's in junior high and she's in the
- 30:19Speaker 1: honors band, plays the band that's better than Yeah, that's
- 30:28Speaker 1: smarter than the other band. Yeah, and you know when
- 30:33Speaker 1: you Tommy, she had to audition and because of COVID,
- 30:37Speaker 1: she had to send in a video audition to be
- 30:40Speaker 1: picked for this band at school. Then she was and
- 30:46Speaker 1: in a basic band. Any other reason why I'm gonna
- 30:50Speaker 1: like this movie coming to somebody who's directed a band,
- 30:53Speaker 1: you know, Oh right? I think it looks like it's
- 30:58Speaker 1: gonna be a real good movie. Yeah, this looks good
- 31:00Speaker 1: and it's one for the whole family. I like those
- 31:02Speaker 1: kinds and we all like jazz. I mean, who don't
- 31:05Speaker 1: like jazz? So so again, Disney's Pixar Soul will be
- 31:11Speaker 1: available on Christmas Day exclusively on Disney Plus where Disney
- 31:16Speaker 1: is available. Check it out. All right, I know it's
- 31:20Speaker 1: gonna be good. Yeah, she's funny, right, I mean yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 1: Angela Bassett, Felicia was shot. I mean that's just nicknames.
- 31:30Speaker 1: What about you? Time to do a voiceover? Have you
- 31:32Speaker 1: done one for a movie. I haven't done a voice over.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I have not for a movie. Yeah, no, that would
- 31:38Speaker 1: be plenty of commercials now, ye fun Let's just write
- 31:44Speaker 1: one ja. Yeah, you guys could do that. Consider it again.
- 31:52Speaker 1: How about The Chapman's The Movie, y'all? Game? Y'all we
- 32:00Speaker 1: elevated bad acting to Academy Over status, Academy Awards status.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I would say, yeah we did. If we say that's why,
- 32:09Speaker 1: would be good. The Chapman's the Movie. Yeah, I think
- 32:13Speaker 1: Jamie Fox should play you. Yeah. Yeah, it's probably good.
- 32:18Speaker 1: They can't play itself again. Check out so available Christmas
- 32:24Speaker 1: Day exclusively on Disney Plus where Disney is available. I
- 32:28Speaker 1: can't wait. All right, all right, here we go, um time. Now,
- 32:33Speaker 1: A lot of stuff going on in the news. The
- 32:35Speaker 1: COVID vaccine is here, a lot of Yeah, the vaccine
- 32:40Speaker 1: is here. Yeah, uh so, Jay time now for today's headlines.
- 32:44Speaker 1: What you got? All right, everybody, It's time for the
- 32:47Speaker 1: news with Missus and Trip. Oh, thanks guys, and it
- 32:50Speaker 1: is an and trip of the news. And yes, people
- 32:52Speaker 1: have begun getting vaccinated against the coronavirus in both the
- 32:55Speaker 1: US and Canada. And tomorrow the FDA is going to
- 32:58Speaker 1: consider another vaccine, this one made by Maderna, so we
- 33:01Speaker 1: would have you know if it's approved. Maderna and Fiser
- 33:04Speaker 1: vaccines out there, so a lot of folks will be
- 33:06Speaker 1: able to get vaccines rather quickly. Members of the electoral
- 33:09Speaker 1: college in all fifty states in the District of Columbia
- 33:11Speaker 1: wrapped it up and made it official yesterday. No zero.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I have nine votes cast for Donald J. Trump. The
- 33:20Speaker 1: electors have concluded their business. Please hold up only your ballots.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I am pleased to announce that Joseph R. Biden has
- 33:27Speaker 1: received sixteen votes for President of the United States. So
- 33:31Speaker 1: JEFUS Biden will be inaugurated next month as the nation's
- 33:35Speaker 1: forty six president, with Senator Kamala Harris as vice president.
- 33:38Speaker 1: The President elect addressed the national electoral vote tally once
- 33:42Speaker 1: it was official. He talked about the unprecedented legal maneuvers
- 33:45Speaker 1: about eighty of them that Donald Trump and his supporters
- 33:48Speaker 1: have been employing. Twenty six Republican members of the Congress.
- 33:52Speaker 1: They actually signed on to a lawsuit asked the United
- 33:55Speaker 1: States Supreme Court to reject the certified vote counts in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania,
- 34:02Speaker 1: and Wisconsin. An effort by elected officials to try to
- 34:06Speaker 1: get the Supreme Court and to hand the presidency to
- 34:08Speaker 1: a candidate and lost the Electoral College, lost the popular vote,
- 34:13Speaker 1: and lost each and every one of the states whose
- 34:16Speaker 1: votes they were trying to reverse. It's a position so
- 34:19Speaker 1: extreme we've never seen it before. But Biden says that
- 34:22Speaker 1: all of Trump's legal motions have actually demonstrated the strength
- 34:25Speaker 1: and resiliency of the nation's democracy, and that he needs
- 34:28Speaker 1: that we need to come together and just kind of
- 34:30Speaker 1: turn the page on this whole type of thing. Later today, though,
- 34:33Speaker 1: mister Biden traveled to Georgia to urge Democrats to come
- 34:35Speaker 1: out for two critical special elections, elections that could wrest
- 34:39Speaker 1: control of the US Senate away from Mitch McConnell and
- 34:42Speaker 1: the Republican Party. Early voting started there yesterday. It runs
- 34:45Speaker 1: through December thirty. First in some counties and the actual
- 34:48Speaker 1: election date is January fifth. The Federal Trade Commission ordering Facebook, Amazon, Twitter,
- 34:53Speaker 1: and six other text firms to reveal what kind of
- 34:56Speaker 1: data they've been collecting on Americans. The FTEC demanding a
- 35:00Speaker 1: tech company's show exactly how that information is being used,
- 35:03Speaker 1: how it chase of people see on social media every day.
- 35:06Speaker 1: And the order also includes TikTok, Snapchat, What's Act, Reddit,
- 35:11Speaker 1: and even Google because they say that the selected monopoly
- 35:14Speaker 1: and they're really sledding things for the American people. Finally,
- 35:17Speaker 1: today is Cute Kitty Day. Oh that wasn't too cute. Well,
- 35:24Speaker 1: help back to the Steve Harvey Barning Showman. You're listening
- 35:27Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Our special guest is
- 35:31Speaker 1: a Georgia native, investigative journalist and a small business owner.
- 35:35Speaker 1: He is running for the US Senate to fight for health, jobs,
- 35:37Speaker 1: and justice for the people. Once he elected, he plans
- 35:40Speaker 1: to pass a new voting Rights and Civil Rights Act
- 35:43Speaker 1: for equal justice under the law. This is a very
- 35:45Speaker 1: important electing that's taken place in the state of Georgia
- 35:48Speaker 1: and early voting is underway right now. Let's meet our candidate,
- 35:53Speaker 1: the one and only put your hands together, please welcome
- 35:56Speaker 1: mister John as Oft. Good morning. How are y'all doing good?
- 36:05Speaker 1: How are you? We're good? How are you? Yeah, I'm
- 36:09Speaker 1: feeling great. I'm feeling great. It's the first week of
- 36:12Speaker 1: early vote in Georgia. So a lot of energy here,
- 36:16Speaker 1: feeling really good and just honored to be here. Thank
- 36:18Speaker 1: you for having me. Well, we're so honored to have
- 36:20Speaker 1: you too. And this is a very, very, very I
- 36:24Speaker 1: can't say that enough important election, mister ASoP. And with
- 36:28Speaker 1: that said, what is at stake in the January fifth
- 36:32Speaker 1: Senate runoff? Well, the first thing people need to understand
- 36:37Speaker 1: is that these two United States Senate runoffs will determine
- 36:41Speaker 1: control of the United States Senate. And if folks think
- 36:46Speaker 1: back to what the Republican Party did when they controlled
- 36:51Speaker 1: the Senate and Barack Obama was in the White House,
- 36:54Speaker 1: that obstruction, that gridlock just for the sake of raw
- 37:01Speaker 1: political power, that is exactly what they will try to
- 37:05Speaker 1: do to Joe and Kamala. And I think it says
- 37:09Speaker 1: a lot about where Georgia is and where the South
- 37:13Speaker 1: is today that, first of all, Georgia is the most
- 37:16Speaker 1: competitive battleground state in the country. To begin with, that
- 37:19Speaker 1: says a lot about the extraordinary work that's been done
- 37:22Speaker 1: over the last ten years to register voters and organized communities,
- 37:25Speaker 1: and the incredible turnout of voters in Georgia. And then
- 37:29Speaker 1: the fact that you've got myself, a young Jewish son
- 37:34Speaker 1: of an immigrant who was mentored by Congressman John Lewis
- 37:38Speaker 1: running alongside a black preacher, Reverend Raphael Warnock, who holds
- 37:42Speaker 1: Doctor King's pulpit at Ebenezer Church. That these are the
- 37:45Speaker 1: standard bearers in Georgia in these two Senate races. We
- 37:49Speaker 1: have come a long way in the state. We really
- 37:52Speaker 1: really have. We really have, and we're looking for big
- 37:56Speaker 1: things out of you and big things for the voters
- 37:58Speaker 1: in Georgia. For We're going to take a quick break
- 38:02Speaker 1: here and we'll be back with more of mister John ASoft.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Get out and vote. Early voting is underway. Please do that.
- 38:09Speaker 1: We want to send him to Washington, d C. With
- 38:12Speaker 1: revend Raphael Warnock and we'll be right back right after this.
- 38:15Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. John ASoft
- 38:20Speaker 1: is their special guests. We're honored to have him here.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Before we went to break, I asked you, I said,
- 38:25Speaker 1: all across the country. Families and small businesses are struggling
- 38:28Speaker 1: to make ends meet. And what will you do in
- 38:30Speaker 1: the Senate to get some economic relief to families they're struggling. Right?
- 38:37Speaker 1: The Senate should have passed additional economic relief, direct economic
- 38:41Speaker 1: relief for the American people eight months ago, right, and
- 38:46Speaker 1: for small businesses. I mean, the reality, y'all is that
- 38:51Speaker 1: they do not care about regular people. You got two
- 38:57Speaker 1: US senators in Georgia, David for Doing, Kelly Leffler, both
- 39:01Speaker 1: of them enriching themselves in office. My opponent was on
- 39:07Speaker 1: the phone with his broker buying medical and vaccine stocks
- 39:13Speaker 1: in the early weeks of this pandemic while he was
- 39:15Speaker 1: telling the rest of us it was no deadlier than
- 39:18Speaker 1: the flu. And he's been blocking economic relief for the
- 39:22Speaker 1: people who pay his salary for months. It's unacceptable. We
- 39:26Speaker 1: need to rush direct economic relief to the people. That
- 39:30Speaker 1: means another round of stimulus checks, that means direct support
- 39:34Speaker 1: for small businesses. People are hurting now and they needed
- 39:37Speaker 1: health months ago. And on day one I will be
- 39:40Speaker 1: ready to vote for that economic relief for the people
- 39:42Speaker 1: and the movement that we're building in Georgia. Right, now
- 39:45Speaker 1: with early voting open this week, It's about health, jobs,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and justice. Healthcare is a human right. We can invest
- 39:53Speaker 1: in economic recovery, create tens of thousands of good paying jobs,
- 39:57Speaker 1: upgrade our public schools, build new clinics, hospitals, and we
- 40:01Speaker 1: can secure equal justice for all people, regardless of race
- 40:05Speaker 1: and regardless of class by passing a new civil rights Act.
- 40:09Speaker 1: But we can only do these things if we get
- 40:12Speaker 1: out and vote. Yes, amen, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes yes.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Also if you you got President elect by I say,
- 40:23Speaker 1: President Biden, but mister President elect Biden, it's coming to
- 40:26Speaker 1: campaign with you and mister Reverend war Knock. How would
- 40:29Speaker 1: this election impact his presidents? Look if if Joe and
- 40:34Speaker 1: Kamala are going to be able to get things done,
- 40:37Speaker 1: they have to be able to pass legislation, right, yes, sir.
- 40:41Speaker 1: And if if if Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party
- 40:45Speaker 1: controlled the Senate, they're going to be committed to this
- 40:47Speaker 1: new administration failure. They will block everything. COVID relief, they'll
- 40:54Speaker 1: block it, affordable healthcare, they'll block it, a fifteen dollar
- 40:58Speaker 1: minimum wage, they'll block it, civil rights, voting rights, they'll
- 41:02Speaker 1: block it. Students that release they'll block it. We cannot
- 41:06Speaker 1: afford that because we have work to do for the people.
- 41:10Speaker 1: So I'm asking everybody to get out and vote, not
- 41:13Speaker 1: for the sake of my ambition, not for the glory
- 41:15Speaker 1: of any political party, for the community and the country
- 41:19Speaker 1: so we can get things done. That's right, That's absolutely right,
- 41:24Speaker 1: absolutely right, all right, Jay, you have something, of course, Yes, sir,
- 41:28Speaker 1: My question takes you into the future. So here's the thing.
- 41:31Speaker 1: After Kamala and Biden do eight years, eight years, do
- 41:35Speaker 1: four and four. It means you'll be able to run
- 41:38Speaker 1: for president. And I think Big Lez is a great
- 41:42Speaker 1: running mate. Think I think you will, sir. I mean
- 41:51Speaker 1: you like it, we like it. I love her and
- 41:54Speaker 1: I love you. So that's the ticket right there. What
- 41:57Speaker 1: do you think about that, sir? Listen, we need to
- 42:00Speaker 1: win this Senate race. Let's keep our eyes on the prize.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Let's keep our eyes on the prize. I need to

- 50:23Speaker 1: baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land, man,

- 51:00Speaker 1: a real Housewives of Potonac Monique and her bird to Challa,
- 51:04Speaker 1: it's an African great parent. What yeah, who goes to
- 51:14Speaker 1: the to the bathroom on the throne, just like humans. Yes, no, yeah,
- 51:21Speaker 1: oh yeah, oh yeah, we've seen it. Yes, so we
- 51:25Speaker 1: we Benny the bird, but we don't get it. We
- 51:30Speaker 1: just don't get it. I don't get it. Okay, I've
- 51:35Speaker 1: heard it all now. The bird is potty train. That's
- 51:40Speaker 1: that's that's quite a bit. Yeah, take that, Benny, Henny
- 51:47Speaker 1: got a lot of growing up to do. A run. Yes,
- 51:52Speaker 1: oh my god. Well that's my stupid dose for y'all today.
- 51:56Speaker 1: That's my stupid dose. I hope y'all like it. Oh

- 53:41Speaker 1: My brother's wife is up to something, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:45Speaker 1: My brother has been married for over fifteen years and
- 53:48Speaker 1: we're a close knit family. My wife and I went
- 53:51Speaker 1: over to our good friend's house to watch a game,
- 53:54Speaker 1: and I want to get a beer and my friend's
- 53:56Speaker 1: wife said she needed to show me something, but I
- 53:59Speaker 1: had to keep it secret. I was nervous as heck,
- 54:02Speaker 1: but I agreed. She took out her phone and showed
- 54:05Speaker 1: me a video of my brother's wife at her front door.
- 54:10Speaker 1: It was captured on their security camera. I thought that
- 54:13Speaker 1: was odd because I introduced them all just recently and
- 54:17Speaker 1: they have only been to my friend's house once. My
- 54:20Speaker 1: friend's wife answered the door and she said my sister
- 54:23Speaker 1: in law seemed surprised to see her. My sister in
- 54:27Speaker 1: law asked if she could borrow a bottle of wine
- 54:30Speaker 1: because she was going to her friend's house in the
- 54:32Speaker 1: area and the stores were closed. My friend's wife went
- 54:36Speaker 1: and got a bottle of red wine, and my sister
- 54:39Speaker 1: in law took it and left. This was all too
- 54:42Speaker 1: so I asked my friend's wife why she told me
- 54:45Speaker 1: about it. She told me she needs to know why
- 54:48Speaker 1: my sister in law really came to her house that night.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I would assume she's thinking my sister in law came
- 54:53Speaker 1: to see her husband, but she was scared to say it.
- 54:57Speaker 1: That's what I think. So I asked my brother if
- 55:00Speaker 1: he noticed a change in his wife's behavior. He said
- 55:03Speaker 1: everything's fine. Couldn't be better. I asked my friend if
- 55:06Speaker 1: he'd seen my sister in law lately, and he said
- 55:08Speaker 1: he hadn't seen her since they all met. I'm seriously
- 55:11Speaker 1: trying to figure out what my sister in law is
- 55:13Speaker 1: up to. I feel like a private investigator and this
- 55:16Speaker 1: isn't any of my business. But I don't want to
- 55:19Speaker 1: see my brother get hurt. Should I get to the
- 55:21Speaker 1: bottom of this or mind my own business? Please advise? Okay,
- 55:26Speaker 1: I know you said you guys are a close knit
- 55:28Speaker 1: family and all of that, but you gotta mind your
- 55:32Speaker 1: own business. I mean, and I agree with you. This
- 55:35Speaker 1: is really really weird. Your sister in law's showing up
- 55:38Speaker 1: at the house and being surprised that his wife was there.
- 55:42Speaker 1: You're right, what was she really over there for your brother?
- 55:46Speaker 1: You think wrong move, sis. If that is true, he
- 55:51Speaker 1: had to be the one that invited her over. Okay,
- 55:54Speaker 1: who else is gonna invite her? She just went on
- 55:57Speaker 1: her own. This is just a wrong move. M This
- 56:00Speaker 1: is the kind of move that can get you killed. Okay, UM,
- 56:04Speaker 1: you don't do that. You just don't, um, And you
- 56:08Speaker 1: blew it by asking your brother. You know you should
- 56:12Speaker 1: have asked him a more direct question than has your
- 56:15Speaker 1: wife been acting strangely lately? I mean, what is he
- 56:18Speaker 1: supposed to get out of that? Women, you know, usually
- 56:22Speaker 1: don't change their behavior when they're cheating. Men do. Okay,
- 56:26Speaker 1: that's why women are better cheaters. That's why women are
- 56:29Speaker 1: better cheaters. She is up to something. I agree, we
- 56:33Speaker 1: don't know what that is. A lot was left out
- 56:35Speaker 1: of this letter, but hey, it's not your business anyway.
- 56:39Speaker 1: I just don't think you should say anything make a
- 56:41Speaker 1: bad situation worse to either party. I just say, please
- 56:45Speaker 1: keep out of it. It's not your business. Jay. No,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you can't keep out of this. You need to find
- 56:50Speaker 1: out what to him. You need to do some investigation,
- 56:55Speaker 1: and don't be like all men. Men can't hold the
- 57:00Speaker 1: information they got and use it at an opportune time.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Hold on to it, get what you need to know,
- 57:08Speaker 1: and then hold it. Don't just like if y'all in
- 57:10Speaker 1: the window ordering food and I found out that ain't
- 57:14Speaker 1: the time to bring that up. Yeah, how come you
- 57:17Speaker 1: to save it? Save it that it's simmer to she
- 57:22Speaker 1: do something wrong and then you bam, you hit her
- 57:25Speaker 1: with the information. I know that's hard for every man
- 57:28Speaker 1: to do. I know it's hard for every but you
- 57:31Speaker 1: need to find out what the hell is going on
- 57:35Speaker 1: so you can start your conversation when you hit it
- 57:38Speaker 1: with this, like, how come you didn't tell me YadA
- 57:41Speaker 1: ya yao? They didn't go like go something like that. Yeah,
- 57:46Speaker 1: you know all the user ones they use all time.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I thought you told me y'alla the boom boom boom
- 57:52Speaker 1: boom boom. Hit it with it. That's what you gotta do.
- 57:55Speaker 1: What find out what the hell going on? That's my opinion. Yeah, okay,
- 58:00Speaker 1: um jay, thank you, Junior. Come on, Yeah, this is
- 58:07Speaker 1: this is really stupid. I don't know if y'all why
- 58:12Speaker 1: are we we ty'all to do a radio show. Why
- 58:13Speaker 1: are we discussing a bottle of wine? Why people talk
- 58:16Speaker 1: about I don't I don't understand this part, but listen.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I will say this though, you're not a very good
- 58:22Speaker 1: private investigator because you wrote into a very public show.
- 58:27Speaker 1: So now everybody know. Everybody know you wrote into a
- 58:33Speaker 1: part we were public. We're talking about your whole situation.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Now they listening. Now they know now everybody but you. Yeah,
- 58:45Speaker 1: where Now everybody can fix their story however they want to.
- 58:49Speaker 1: This is so stupid. I don't even know why I'm
- 58:51Speaker 1: talking about this. All right, hang on, junior. Uh, We're
- 58:54Speaker 1: gonna have part two of the Strawberry Letter coming up
- 58:57Speaker 1: next twenty three minutes after the hours subject my brother's
- 59:01Speaker 1: wife is up to something. We'll get into it and
- 59:04Speaker 1: try to find out what that is. That's something. Right
- 59:07Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 59:12Speaker 1: we got a recap today Strawberry Letter. My brother's wife
- 59:15Speaker 1: is up to something, a brother wrote in His brother
- 59:18Speaker 1: has been married for over fifteen years, their close knit family.
- 59:22Speaker 1: He and his wife went over to some good friend's
- 59:26Speaker 1: house to watch a game. He got a beer. The
- 59:28Speaker 1: good friend's wife took him in the kitchen showed him
- 59:31Speaker 1: a video of his brother's wife at their front door
- 59:35Speaker 1: one night, trying to get in. The friend's wife told
- 59:41Speaker 1: him not to say anything, but he's trying to figure
- 59:43Speaker 1: out what is his brother's wife into. The friend's wife
- 59:47Speaker 1: said that the sister in law came over for a
- 59:51Speaker 1: bottle of wine. The stores were closed and she was
- 59:54Speaker 1: going to her friend's house to a party, but she
- 59:58Speaker 1: looked surprised when the friend's wife answered the door. So
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: the brother's thinking that she went over there to see
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: the friend, and now he's become a private investigator trying
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to figure out what his brother's wife is up to.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: All right, he needs advice. Should he get to the
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: bottom of it or should he mind his own business?
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: He says, he feels like a private investigator right now?
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: All right, nephew, Junior, were you done? Yeah? By the way,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: all right, nephew here up. Okay, y'all, y'all, y'all missing it.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: You're not seeing what's going on. This is a wino.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: This lady is a wino, okay, and she is looking
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: for something to drink. Y'all ain't ever seen a win
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Overfore they would go dough to dough, knock on anybody
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: house they know to get about the wine. This is
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: a whiner, I know MD twenty twenty. When I hear
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: this is a win Oh you understand, this is Mary
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: meryloda mixer. That's the what they see is all. It
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: could easily be Thrita Savanon blanc. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: It's that she is a winder. But she, dude, wants
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: to get drunk and toe up with your husband because
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: that's her goal. She came over for the husband, answer wine,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: and your ass answered the dough and you in the way,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and you all in the way. So it's time now
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to sit back. It's too late as you don't blew
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: your couple. You could have found out what was really
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: going on. But you blew your couple. You're asking people
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: and asking a round, and it would have real that
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: ain't really what a real detective, dude that's trying to
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: find out what's going on, a real detective, shut your
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: damn mouth. You shut your mouth and you figure out.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You watch people's moves. You could have waited and watched
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and seen what was happening, but you didn't. So she
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: gonna change her way. Now she's gonna to go around
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: the back and figure out how she's gonna get this
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: man and get this wine. Wine women in song. Yes,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: well it's here wineo too. I mean what her no?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: She the wine on? Okay, yeah, I'm talking like back,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: like ned the wino. I'm talking about like real wine,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: like that old wine comes at you. When she opened
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: the door and nobody said anything where they were over
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: watching the game, don't really play that much attention to
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: do wine. You just let it. You know, why don't
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: know how to be quiet? Sure they can be quiet,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: you know. They try to be like a little a
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: little piece of furniture, and try not to make no
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: sudden moves where everybody don't realize what they're really doing.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: But the winder would come in and drink your house
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: dry and make you feel bad when you don't help
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: them to get wine. Oh, now you all up and
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: big money. You can't help me. We can't. We can't
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: drink the good stuff. They always sitting in a corner though, Yeah,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I always make you feel bad sitting in corners. They
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: love corners for some reasons. And they talk to themselves
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: a lot, really what they like everybody when they're waking
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: the game. An, that's why I don't tell big Mama
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: didn't leave you all the money, all the money she
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: got louder. That's true enough to buy some wine. If
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: the wind don't say it, it's the truth they know.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Oh wh I don't know. W don't have me tell
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: no secrets because I tell her I all I know.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Stuffy him. You need to ask her who baby daddy is.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Does not look like the daddy. Ain't nobody ain't nobody
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: like in your family, her family, when you've seen green
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: eyes because you ain't that black folks, baby, black everything. Yeah,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: my res around the corner got green eye. Don't don't
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: my res. Why don't you tell her about that? Mone?
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: You got it in the box and the china cabinet.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Why don't you tell her? Like dad, I know about it.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I see you going. Didn't get money out of it? Yeah,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: and you know what that's telling me? Shish don't work
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: on the wine. It does not work. They just get louder, cry,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: fry shit? What what? What is? Who you? Who you're
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: talking to? Who you shoh? Who? Yes? I know you
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: ain't shoohing me? Donna raynor R? Who is your shish? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: but remember her husband said that everything was fine and
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: couldn't be better. Remember her own husband? Who you shushing
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: downa ray her? I know you when you had that
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: white man around? Not there? All right? Thank you guys,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: post your car. I'm done. Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. Can check out the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast to undemand now coming up in forty
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: six minutes after the hour. You know what time it is?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Junior Sports talk. Right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Junior is here with sports talk.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: What you got Junior? All right, we won't talk a
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: little sport. We're gonna talk a little sport. Then, okay, okay,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the Cleveland Indians will change their name after one hundred
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: and five years. Now that debt's you know, they're not
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: gonna be the engine no more. Now. I don't know
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: what war team name is. Dame for him, just Steve
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Harvey's Harvest. I like it. I like it when the
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: move comes after years of protest from Native American organizations
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: who call the team's name and logo racist. It follows
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: a similar decision made by the NFL franchise once known
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: as the Red Skins, which we branded to the Washington
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Football Team back in July after it was criticized for
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: years over a name that is considered a racial So
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I got it. I got it. Junior's Goodland. The Cleveland.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Damn it's cold because you know, Harley in the winter,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: and I can see it. I can see it on
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the side of the helmets. The Cleveland mustache. How about that?
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: There's the mustache baseball yea on the hat Yeah, yeah
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: on the helmets. Yeah, the Browns are not changing. It's
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: just the Indians, just the Indians. But yeah, it's another
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: story man that we saw. Man, and we got to
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: sit some prayers up in other sports news, we need
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: to prayer. Prayer, Prayer Warriors to pray for the Florida
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: basketball star Keyante Johnson, who was in the hospital after
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: he collapsed during the Florida Gators game against Florida State.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Before the incident, Kyante just finished an alley oop on
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: a pass from Tyree Appleby. He celebrated with his teammates,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: then he walked towards the sideline and as a team
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: broke his huddle. He collapsed on the court and the
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: players came towards the sideline for help. So we are
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: praying for Keyante Johnson. Yeah, man, I hate that that
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: happened to him. Man, I don't even don't even know
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: it's wrong. Yeah, he's very, very sick and he is
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: in critical but stable condition as a last night, and
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: of course his parents are there. But I saw the video.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: I saw it was very fun to watch for him
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: to make that play and then fall like that. I
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: know this card, so I'm like, oh, my God collapse
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: after Oh my God. So we're praying for the Johnson family.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: We really are, absolutely you know, young guy and man,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: we want the best form. So we're just gonna keep
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: praying and um well we'll finally the update on Keyante
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: when we get it. Yeah, he had COVID earlier this summer.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Oh good. Yeah, so you just never know. Just pray form,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: pray for the family. Yeah all right, yeah, and lean
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: prayers going up. All right, junior, thank you. Coming up
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we're gonna lighten things
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: up a bit and look into the mind the crazy
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: mind of Joy Anthony Brown. Right after this you're listening
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: to show. All right, it is time to look into
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: the mind of Jay Anthony Brown. A junior, can you
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: please do us the honors? Oh Lord? All right, here
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: we go, ladies and gentlemen. This in my writing, buddy,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: But I'm telling this a very dark place we're about
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: to go to. We're entering into the mind of all
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: kinds of stuff in here. We don't know which we're
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: gonna find, but we're in the mind of Joy Anthony Brown. Jay. Okay,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: this is not this is not dark today. Normally I've
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: been dark. I've been stupid licensed to help some people

- 1:09:06Speaker 1: and all the white elves up to the front. That's
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: what they want. They're very unhappy with the dress code period,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: pointed hats, the little orange vessel, red vest and the
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: pointed shoes. Here's what they like to go with. They'd
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: like to go with timberlands, skinny jeans, hoodies, want to
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: fly fly. Yeah. They want to be allowed to wear
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: the hell or ever they want to wear. If they
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: want to wear dreads, they want to wear just loose,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: just straight out there, boom, don't want to hit the ball.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Let's have what your head. We don't want to hear that.

- 1:15:07Speaker 1: of that. Okay, different, All right, here we go. This
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: one's from Nick in Maryland. Uh. Nick is the thirty
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: three year old single man. He says his mother is
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: living with him. She's in town visiting my brother and
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: I when the pandemic hit and she decided it would
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: be better to stay in town at my house. My
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: brother is married and lives three miles away, but she
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: won't stay with him because she doesn't like his wife.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I can't have company or do anything I want to
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: do in my home because she is there. It's time
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: for her to go, but she won't fly. It's a
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: It's an eleven hour drive to her house, So how
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: can I get her out of my house. Should I drive?
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Should I drive? Wow? Let me just say this. Let
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: me be bold with you, Nick, Please, let me tell
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: you something, man, right, I knew you was gonna lose
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: it because I thought she said that. Listen your house.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: If you want to bang in your house, you need
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: to bang in your house a good way to get
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: rid of your mama and left hussy high. Nasty you are,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: and if you're nasty at a certain level, stip it up.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Stip your wherever you are nasty right now, you need
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: to stip that up. Stipp freaking she ain't had to
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: be that. She leaves and take let my family leave.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I'm talking about lotions oils, rugs. We've got some my
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: toys all over the house. I'm in the refrigerator. You
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: want them all over the house? All right? Coming up?
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: It will be our last break of the day. This
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: is the last break of the day. Let me give
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: you something to think about. I'm spending just as much
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: money on gas that I was spending when I was
