- 0:01Speaker 1: Many of you may have heard this week that the
- 0:04Speaker 1: Boy Scouts of America decided it was going to be
- 0:07Speaker 1: a good idea to.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Change their name.
- 0:10Speaker 1: What you may not realize is why the headlines from
- 0:15Speaker 1: the liberal media were pretty clear. Wow, there was years
- 0:18Speaker 1: of scandal around the Boy Scouts. That is true, and
- 0:22Speaker 1: so that was the main reason why they needed to
- 0:24Speaker 1: change their name.
- 0:25Speaker 2: That part is not true.
- 0:28Speaker 1: There was a very interesting article that was put out
- 0:31Speaker 1: this week by the National Review entitled the Bastardization of
- 0:35Speaker 1: the Boy Scouts. The editors put together a article and
- 0:40Speaker 1: it was basically an article to every Scout that's ever
- 0:43Speaker 1: been through the Scouts, who's ever been a part of it. Now,
- 0:45Speaker 1: I was a Boy Scout when I was younger, went
- 0:49Speaker 1: all the way through. I think I quit, if I
- 0:52Speaker 1: remember correctly, after I got my wee blows.
- 0:53Speaker 2: So I didn't. I wasn't a lifer. I wasn't an
- 0:56Speaker 2: Eagle Scout.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I had family members that were Eagle Scouts and friends
- 1:00Speaker 1: that are Eagle Scouts that absolutely loved what the Boy
- 1:04Speaker 1: Scouts had to offer. Now, the Boy Scouts of America.
- 1:09Speaker 1: You may not realize this either. It was found at
- 1:11Speaker 1: one hundred and fourteen years ago by men who were
- 1:15Speaker 1: concerned about the disappearance of traditional boyhood. I want you
- 1:20Speaker 1: to think about that as the backdrop of this entire conversation.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Let me say that again, because there's a word in
- 1:26Speaker 1: there that the left hated, and this is part of
- 1:28Speaker 1: the reason why the left started to take over the
- 1:31Speaker 1: Boy Scouts. They didn't like that the Boy Scouts were
- 1:34Speaker 1: trying to raise traditional men and give children a traditional
- 1:40Speaker 1: boy hood.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:42Speaker 1: The keyword there is boyhood and most importantly, the cultivation
- 1:49Speaker 1: of masculine virtues.
- 1:52Speaker 2: They wanted to cultivate young boys to turn.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Them into young men, masculine men, masculine virtues.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Why did they do this.
- 2:06Speaker 1: They did this because one hundred and fourteen years ago,
- 2:10Speaker 1: there were some men that understood that when America was
- 2:14Speaker 1: rapidly urbanizing and you were seeing cities in America that
- 2:19Speaker 1: were popping up, they were concerned, right, they were concerned
- 2:23Speaker 1: that men were going.
- 2:25Speaker 2: To lose that thing that made them men.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Now, the organization received a hearty endorsement from the adventure
- 2:33Speaker 1: and popular former President Teddy Roosevelt. So there was absolutely
- 2:37Speaker 1: politics involved in the Boy Scouts, and then it became
- 2:42Speaker 1: a pillar of American culture. For much of the twentieth century,
- 2:46Speaker 1: it was something that people looked at when they were hiring.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Were you a Boy Scout? How far did you go?
- 2:52Speaker 1: If you were an Eagle Scout? It was something massive
- 2:55Speaker 1: to put on your resume, whether it was going to
- 2:57Speaker 1: a college or applying for a It was something that
- 3:01Speaker 1: the military also looked out, and it was something that
- 3:04Speaker 1: was very very very very important for the military to
- 3:10Speaker 1: look at see if you could accomplish something that was
- 3:12Speaker 1: not easy.
- 3:14Speaker 2: You combined all.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That together and it was one of the most I
- 3:21Speaker 1: think prominent things that someone eighteen or under could get
- 3:25Speaker 1: on their resume that was meaningful, that was impactful. Fast
- 3:30Speaker 1: forward to today, why is it that the Boy Scouts
- 3:34Speaker 1: of America are no longer going to do any of
- 3:38Speaker 1: the things that I just said, Well, look no further
- 3:43Speaker 1: than the CEO of the Boy Scouts of America, a
- 3:46Speaker 1: weak and feeble man by the name of Roger Krohn.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Roger said this in an interview this week to the
- 3:54Speaker 1: Associated Press about the changing of the name.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Listen carefully sends this really strong message to everyone in
- 4:03Speaker 3: America that they can come to this program, they can
- 4:06Speaker 3: bring their authentic self, they can be who they are
- 4:11Speaker 3: and they will be welcomed.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Here the argument that I make with the people that say, well,
- 4:17Speaker 4: I always like Boy Scouts of America or BSA, why
- 4:20Speaker 4: do we have to change go? You know, membership is
- 4:23Speaker 4: at historic lows right. Part of my job is to
- 4:28Speaker 4: reduce all the barriers I possibly can for people to
- 4:33Speaker 4: accept us as an organization and to join.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So, now, what is he saying.
- 4:40Speaker 1: He's telling you that it's all about membership, the Boy
- 4:44Speaker 1: Scouts of America changing their name to Scouting America to
- 4:48Speaker 1: be quote, more inclusive and welcoming, more inclusive and welcoming.
- 4:53Speaker 1: His words, this is about destroying what it means to
- 4:58Speaker 1: be a masculine man. Now, there are scandals and many
- 5:02Speaker 1: organizations there have been scandals in the Catholic Church. Does
- 5:05Speaker 1: that mean that you change Catholicism because membership goes down?
- 5:11Speaker 1: In fact, I would argue the reason why the Boy
- 5:13Speaker 1: Scouts of America have become irrelevant is not actually because
- 5:16Speaker 1: of the scandals. It is because we allowed the woke
- 5:20Speaker 1: left to grab a hold of Boy Scouts of America
- 5:23Speaker 1: and demand that it becomes Scouting Kumbaya where men or women,
- 5:29Speaker 1: or boys or girls or those that identify as whatever
- 5:32Speaker 1: they want to claim they identify as took over an
- 5:35Speaker 1: organization which core value was raising strong masculine men in America.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So when it happened this week, the Boy Scouts of
- 5:46Speaker 1: America announced it was changing the name to Scouting America,
- 5:49Speaker 1: and that president came out and insisted that, quote, our
- 5:52Speaker 1: mission remains unchanged.
- 5:54Speaker 2: He's lying to you, he said.
- 5:56Speaker 1: The mission is, quote, we are committed to teaching young people.
- 6:00Speaker 1: So now we're using people. We're not boys or girls,
- 6:03Speaker 1: are using people, Like, how do you identify as to
- 6:07Speaker 1: be quote prepared for life?
- 6:10Speaker 2: It's not true.
- 6:11Speaker 1: In reality, the renaming reflects changes that have already taken
- 6:15Speaker 1: place within the Boy Scouts, including the admission of more
- 6:19Speaker 1: than one hundred and eighty thousand girls. Did you know that, Yes,
- 6:23Speaker 1: one hundred and eighty thousand girls have joined the Boy Scouts.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So they had to change the name. But you notice
- 6:29Speaker 1: they didn't change the name first. No, no, no, no,
- 6:32Speaker 1: They kept the name the same until they guaranteed themselves
- 6:36Speaker 1: enough members that had infiltrated that are not boys, that
- 6:39Speaker 1: are actually girls. And then they said, after they knew
- 6:43Speaker 1: they had strong footing, then they would change the name. Now,
- 6:48Speaker 1: the reports that have come out about the rebranding is
- 6:52Speaker 1: quote specifically aimed at recruiting more quote diverse members. In fact,
- 6:58Speaker 1: CBS News reports that the rebranding is specifically aimed at
- 7:03Speaker 1: recruiting not just more diverse members quote unquote, but more
- 7:07Speaker 1: diverse members from.
- 7:08Speaker 2: The LGBT community.
- 7:13Speaker 1: So if you think this is about just including girls,
- 7:17Speaker 1: you're wrong. For many, the name change is only further
- 7:21Speaker 1: confirmation that the Boy Scouts have abandoned their traditional values,
- 7:25Speaker 1: their traditional role of instilling traditional masculine virtues in boys,
- 7:30Speaker 1: becoming yet one more arm of a progressive culture and
- 7:35Speaker 1: a culture war that has gone out to seek out
- 7:38Speaker 1: anything that raises or encourages strong masculine boys slash men.
- 7:46Speaker 1: They ended, by the way, a ban on gay adult
- 7:50Speaker 1: leaders in twenty thirteen, they welcome girls who identify as
- 7:56Speaker 1: boys to enroll in their boys' only program in twenty seventeen,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and they settled that massive sex abuse lawsuit as well.
- 8:06Speaker 1: During all of this, while the President rambled on about
- 8:10Speaker 1: Scouting Americas now dedicated helping young people be their authentic
- 8:15Speaker 1: selves his words authentic selves, leaks online show that even
- 8:20Speaker 1: nominal separation of boys and girls and older troops is
- 8:23Speaker 1: likely to be ended in favor now of co ed arrangements.
- 8:30Speaker 1: We predicted when this was going down in thirteen and
- 8:34Speaker 1: then in seventeen that this would happen. One of the
- 8:37Speaker 1: other reasons why they decided to go after and I'm
- 8:40Speaker 1: talking about the woke mob of the left Boy Scouts
- 8:43Speaker 1: of America is because they didn't like one other aspect.
- 8:48Speaker 2: What built Boy Scouts.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Of America were small communities and specifically churches. Virtually everyone
- 8:55Speaker 1: I knew in the Boy Scouts went to a church
- 8:59Speaker 1: for the meetings. So what better way to get rid
- 9:02Speaker 1: of religion in young people than get rid of the
- 9:05Speaker 1: Scouts in churches. When I was young, you went to church,
- 9:12Speaker 1: and you went to church to go to Scouts. The
- 9:15Speaker 1: Boy Scouts were where you met the same people you
- 9:18Speaker 1: went to church with. You spent time with people that
- 9:21Speaker 1: you went to church with in the Scouts at church.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I remember my troop was two seven to six. When
- 9:30Speaker 1: we went on Scouting trips. Did we go on a
- 9:32Speaker 1: Boy Scout van? No, we went in a church van
- 9:36Speaker 1: that said on the side of it first Evangelical Church.
- 9:40Speaker 1: We did have a white trailer that had the Boy
- 9:43Speaker 1: Scout logo on it with Troop two seven six, and
- 9:48Speaker 1: when you went on these events, you were meeting at
- 9:52Speaker 1: the church parking lot.
- 9:55Speaker 2: What the left understood was the Scouts is a.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Very dangerous mechanism for instilling traditional values and values that
- 10:04Speaker 1: made men masculine. And they understood that there was opportunities
- 10:10Speaker 1: to infiltrate the Scouts. And what they did at first
- 10:14Speaker 1: is they started getting Scout troops that didn't meet at churches.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Like you got to understand the left, they don't play folks.
- 10:21Speaker 2: They have a long term goal.
- 10:24Speaker 1: When they first started opening these different troops that were
- 10:29Speaker 1: more progressive or liberal, they started doing it at places
- 10:33Speaker 1: that were not churches, and then they started to gain
- 10:38Speaker 1: in numbers, and then they would start in certain areas
- 10:41Speaker 1: where the council would be smaller, and then they would say, hey,
- 10:44Speaker 1: we should do this, or we believe that we should
- 10:47Speaker 1: have members that should be able to be openly gay
- 10:51Speaker 1: that are in the running the troops. And eventually the
- 10:54Speaker 1: pressure got to them like okay, fine, we'll let that happen.
- 10:58Speaker 1: And then they say, well hold on, you got to
- 11:00Speaker 1: think about where we are in twenty twenty four, go back,
- 11:05Speaker 1: and I mentioned the years earlier, but in twenty seventeen,
- 11:12Speaker 1: they decided that they let me rephrase that hold on.
- 11:18Speaker 1: They ended the band on gay adult leaders in thirteen.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Then they started welcoming girls who identified as boys to
- 11:25Speaker 1: enroll in their boys only program in seventeen. It's twenty
- 11:28Speaker 1: twenty four. Twenty seventeen was a long time ago, folks.
- 11:34Speaker 1: That's almost I mean what eight years ago. Basically they
- 11:38Speaker 1: were doing that before seventeen, and then seventeen was when
- 11:42Speaker 1: they've officially quote allowed it the idea, and in seventeen
- 11:46Speaker 1: I remember doing a show telling you this is going
- 11:50Speaker 1: to be the beginning of the end of the Boys
- 11:51Speaker 1: Scouts as we know it. When they officially allowed girls
- 11:54Speaker 1: identify as boys into the Boys Scouts. They also when
- 12:01Speaker 1: the Boy Scouts became weak and they settled that massive
- 12:04Speaker 1: sex abuse lawsuit, they understood then that there was a
- 12:10Speaker 1: chance to really get into leadership and fundamentally forever change
- 12:16Speaker 1: the Boy Scouts. And this woke CEO of Boy Scouts
- 12:20Speaker 1: America says, Scouting America is now dedicated to helping young
- 12:23Speaker 1: people right be their authentic self. So this is now
- 12:28Speaker 1: not about your kid becoming a leader, a warrior, a
- 12:34Speaker 1: man's man, a guy's guy, a masculine individual.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Okay, that's not what this is about.
- 12:42Speaker 1: What it's actually about is taking your kids, just like
- 12:47Speaker 1: they've done in the public schools and giving you your
- 12:51Speaker 1: quote authentic selves, find your own person. This is why
- 12:56Speaker 1: they're moving to boys and girls and older troops, co
- 13:01Speaker 1: ed arrangements. They're not going to separate boys and girls
- 13:03Speaker 1: because they don't want you to believe and they don't
- 13:06Speaker 1: want your kids, I should say, to believe that there
- 13:08Speaker 1: is a difference between boys and girls. Understand that they
- 13:14Speaker 1: do not want you to believe that there is any
- 13:17Speaker 1: difference between the two. And they're going to indoctrinate your
- 13:20Speaker 1: kids to understand that Scouting America is going to face a.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Decline in membership. I have no doubt because of this.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Okay, when you kick out the churches, right when you
- 13:32Speaker 1: get rid of the churches, you're going to have this problem.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And much like the churches that allowed them to become
- 13:40Speaker 1: woke within their churches and didn't fight to protect the
- 13:44Speaker 1: Boy Scouts, because many churches become weak and they don't
- 13:47Speaker 1: stand up when there are people that are coming in
- 13:50Speaker 1: with secular and progressive values. Scouting America is now Boy
- 13:55Speaker 1: Scouts America and I mean, this is dead. What it
- 13:58Speaker 1: used to be is gone, and that is a victory
- 14:01Speaker 1: for the left. Now you can say, well, we should
- 14:03Speaker 1: start our own, and there's other groups out there that
- 14:05Speaker 1: have started. It will never get as big as Boy
- 14:08Speaker 1: Scouts of America was. Now you could also argue that
- 14:12Speaker 1: because of you sports and other things that now society
- 14:16Speaker 1: has changed and Boy Scouts is not as prominent and
- 14:19Speaker 1: or as important.
- 14:20Speaker 2: As it was before.
- 14:21Speaker 1: But let me say this about Boy Scouts and one
- 14:23Speaker 1: of the things that I noticed a lot of the
- 14:26Speaker 1: kids when I was in the Boy Scouts, and this
- 14:28Speaker 1: is back in the nineties, once you got into sports,
- 14:34Speaker 1: and sports is a great way to teach boys how
- 14:37Speaker 1: to become young men and be masculine men and not
- 14:40Speaker 1: weak men. But once sports became a thing, that's when
- 14:44Speaker 1: most of my friends started dropping out of the Scouts.
- 14:46Speaker 1: But the boys that didn't have sports, like they didn't
- 14:50Speaker 1: really connect with baseball or football or basketball, or maybe
- 14:54Speaker 1: they didn't make the eighth grade team because they just
- 14:57Speaker 1: weren't good enough.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Scouting was a phenomenal place.
- 15:01Speaker 1: For them to be involved, to feel like you're on
- 15:07Speaker 1: a team, and to do something and accomplish something in
- 15:11Speaker 1: your extracurricular activities that was meaningful and significant in the
- 15:16Speaker 1: same way that sports was to many of us. And
- 15:20Speaker 1: so destroying the Boy Scouts of America as the radical
- 15:24Speaker 1: left has now seized it and done this.
- 15:28Speaker 2: They're now seeing.
- 15:29Speaker 1: This as an opportunity to get rid of a lot
- 15:33Speaker 1: of the young boys that didn't that weren't involved in
- 15:36Speaker 1: something else, and so now they have a lock on
- 15:40Speaker 1: their minds. A lot of the most masculine men are
- 15:44Speaker 1: not going to be in the Scouts, like certainly now
- 15:46Speaker 1: they're not right, that is success. How many young people's
- 15:51Speaker 1: lives can they now change? Right, You've gotten rid of
- 15:54Speaker 1: God in the Scouts, you got rid of church and
- 15:56Speaker 1: the Scouts you now have these secular and progressive values.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You're telling these Scouts be whoever you want to be.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Scouts are now saying, you know, boys and girls are
- 16:04Speaker 1: no different. You can identify as whatever you want to be.
- 16:06Speaker 1: This is a progressive, radical takeover of one of the
- 16:11Speaker 1: most important institutions in history in this country. This is
- 16:17Speaker 1: no different, by the way than what they've done in
- 16:19Speaker 1: our public schools. So think about the real estate now,
- 16:24Speaker 1: And this is why I went back, go back to
- 16:26Speaker 1: what I said earlier. The left doesn't play the values
- 16:30Speaker 1: that Scouting America is now dedicated to is a complete
- 16:35Speaker 1: opposite of what it was back in the day. And
- 16:38Speaker 1: they're going to be able to do this, and you
- 16:39Speaker 1: want to know why, because major corporations are going to
- 16:43Speaker 1: back them, Major foundations are going to back them. Non
- 16:48Speaker 1: governmental organizations are going to back them. Hollywood is going
- 16:53Speaker 1: to back them, Silicon Valley is going to back them.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Bye bye.
- 16:58Speaker 1: By taking over Scouting, what the left has done is
- 17:03Speaker 1: they've said, all right, now we've got your back. You
- 17:05Speaker 1: did it. We are now committed to you. We are
- 17:08Speaker 1: now committed to this trans agenda and this woke radical agenda,
- 17:14Speaker 1: and we're going to have this boy Scouts that die,
- 17:16Speaker 1: the word boys died.
- 17:17Speaker 2: This is such a.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Massive victory and we are going to grab the minds
- 17:23Speaker 1: of a lot of people that aren't that are easier.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I think they believe to influence because real men, a
- 17:31Speaker 1: lot of ro men are not going to be in
- 17:33Speaker 1: the Scouts anymore, because their fathers are not going to
- 17:36Speaker 1: allow them to be in in this version of the Scouts.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I know if I was a kid now, my dad
- 17:42Speaker 1: wouldn't put me in the Scouting of America. He'd be like,
- 17:45Speaker 1: that's a liberal, woke organization. But you know who they're
- 17:48Speaker 1: really prying after going after right now. They're going after
- 17:53Speaker 1: and taking advantage of a lot of single mothers who
- 17:57Speaker 1: are desperate for their children to have something that teaches
- 18:02Speaker 1: them civility and manners, and they're going to use these
- 18:06Speaker 1: woke leaders to then go after these kids that are
- 18:11Speaker 1: desperate for role models. This is about replacing a parent.
- 18:17Speaker 1: That's what this is all about. You look at the Left,
- 18:21Speaker 1: and this is why I say they're playing at a
- 18:23Speaker 1: different level. They're playing the long game, and they're understanding.
- 18:31Speaker 1: They are understanding that if you can become the father
- 18:34Speaker 1: to the child, then you can control the child's destiny,
- 18:38Speaker 1: their mind, their values, their beliefs. This is like a
- 18:43Speaker 1: thirty year game, folks. This isn't a one year game.
- 18:46Speaker 1: This isn't a six month game. This is something that
- 18:49Speaker 1: they started in our public schools. And when public schools
- 18:52Speaker 1: started to go bad, the conservatives ran to give their
- 18:56Speaker 1: kids the best education possible. They ran to private schools,
- 19:02Speaker 1: and the liberals said, okay, this is awesome. The majority
- 19:06Speaker 1: of kids in America are going to go to public schools.
- 19:08Speaker 1: So let's own that. Let's indoctrinate them to believe in
- 19:14Speaker 1: radical extremist values Marxism, socialism, communism. Won't use those words
- 19:19Speaker 1: early on, but we'll get them to believe that the
- 19:21Speaker 1: government is your father. And then they saw something in
- 19:24Speaker 1: the public schools. They saw the breakdown of the home.
- 19:27Speaker 1: They saw that more than fifty percent of marriages were
- 19:29Speaker 1: inning in divorces. They saw that there was a lot
- 19:31Speaker 1: of single moms out there that were desperate for extracurricular
- 19:36Speaker 1: activities while they were at work. You got to understand
- 19:40Speaker 1: the number one reason why a single mom is looking
- 19:42Speaker 1: for extracurricular activities is in a weird way. And I'm
- 19:45Speaker 1: not blaming them, but it's selfish. Right, I got to work,
- 19:49Speaker 1: so I got to get them in something after school.
- 19:51Speaker 1: And the left was like, hey, we got you. We'll
- 19:55Speaker 1: take over the arts, right, we'll take over the after programs.
- 20:00Speaker 1: We might not be able to take over sports, but
- 20:03Speaker 1: we can take over everything else but sports. And the
- 20:06Speaker 1: Scouts was a great next target, and they did. They
- 20:11Speaker 1: targeted it perfectly because if your kid's not playing sports
- 20:15Speaker 1: and you need an extra cricke activity, and you hear
- 20:18Speaker 1: boy Scouts of America you're gonna immediately say yeah, let's
- 20:21Speaker 1: sign them.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Up for that.
- 20:21Speaker 1: That's a great idea, right, Like, you're not gonna stop
- 20:24Speaker 1: and say, oh, I don't know about this group.
- 20:26Speaker 2: This group's went around forever. You have a great connotation.
- 20:30Speaker 1: They had great marketing, they had great history, they had
- 20:32Speaker 1: great pr They built strong young men, and if you're
- 20:36Speaker 1: a woman without a husband at home, you're looking for that,
- 20:40Speaker 1: for someone to really dive into your son. And then
- 20:45Speaker 1: they saw something else. They saw the breakdown of the home,
- 20:50Speaker 1: especially among the African American community, and they saw an
- 20:55Speaker 1: opportunity to then, just like democrats have done with the
- 20:59Speaker 1: African American community, they have.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Pandered to them.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Right, Hey vote for us and will literally be your father,
- 21:06Speaker 1: will be your dad. Hey vote for us, and we'll
- 21:09Speaker 1: give you free food, We'll give you free housing, will
- 21:13Speaker 1: give you basically money like your father of your children
- 21:19Speaker 1: should be doing, and will take care of you.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Just got to keep voting for us.
- 21:24Speaker 1: You have to understand this is, in my opinion, so
- 21:28Speaker 1: much bigger than the Boy Scouts America. This is an
- 21:32Speaker 1: entire plan for the radical left to become the parents
- 21:36Speaker 1: of your children. You look at this transagenda and the
- 21:41Speaker 1: Boy Scouts America. And when it started, it was a
- 21:45Speaker 1: long running war on all male spaces, which the left hates,
- 21:51Speaker 1: and Boy Scouts America was an all male space. And
- 21:55Speaker 1: what they did was they said, Okay, no, we're gonna
- 21:57Speaker 1: change that, and we're gonna fight hard to change it,
- 21:59Speaker 1: but we're going to.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Play the long game here.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And when the transgender movements war on men happen, and
- 22:06Speaker 1: then this even war on female only spaces and it
- 22:09Speaker 1: kicked into high gear, what do they say? The progressive said,
- 22:12Speaker 1: now's time for us to claim our victory.
- 22:14Speaker 2: We're going to go into these.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Campaigns that say that if you support gender only groups
- 22:20Speaker 1: will come after you and we will attack your company.
- 22:23Speaker 2: And what happened Boy Scouts of America.
- 22:25Speaker 1: They started losing their funding, They started losing their funding, and.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Then the scandals came. And where the left do.
- 22:36Speaker 1: They used it to tear down the Boy Scouts of
- 22:38Speaker 1: America even more because they understood that they could potentially
- 22:42Speaker 1: have the millions of boys' minds, millions of kids under
- 22:47Speaker 1: their supervision over decade after decade, and they could destroy
- 22:52Speaker 1: what the Boy Scouts actually were. I go back to
- 22:57Speaker 1: the Boy Scouts of America. Where did the Boy Scouts
- 23:01Speaker 1: really get their footing. They got their footing in the church,
- 23:06Speaker 1: They got their footing in family values. They got their
- 23:10Speaker 1: footing in a home that had a mother and a father.
- 23:15Speaker 1: And then that started to change, and they saw that
- 23:18Speaker 1: it started to change. And this is another example of
- 23:24Speaker 1: a warning sign.
- 23:25Speaker 2: And by the way, they're doing.
- 23:26Speaker 1: This in religion right now. You look at the left
- 23:29Speaker 1: and what they've done with religion. They've gone into churches
- 23:33Speaker 1: and many churches and denominations and they've slowly started to
- 23:36Speaker 1: take over and they all they started saying, no, no, we'll
- 23:38Speaker 1: have gay marriage, We'll have gay pastors. Right, who cares
- 23:42Speaker 1: what the Bible says, because this is no longer about that, right.
- 23:46Speaker 1: But you look at what they've done in churches, taking
- 23:49Speaker 1: over entire congregations and separating churches and dividing churches. Why
- 23:53Speaker 1: because conservatives were not willing to fight, they saw opportunities churches.
- 24:00Speaker 1: They didn't go after the biggest churches with these changes.
- 24:02Speaker 1: They went after the weakest churches. Okay, they went after
- 24:06Speaker 1: the weakest churches. They went after the churches that had
- 24:11Speaker 1: attendance numbers that were down, and they were desperate for
- 24:14Speaker 1: money and funding, and they came in.
- 24:16Speaker 2: They said, hey, hey, we'll help out. We want to
- 24:18Speaker 2: be here.
- 24:21Speaker 1: You look at the radical left, the Marxist, the socialists,
- 24:24Speaker 1: the communists, they have years of figuring this out, years
- 24:29Speaker 1: and years and years, decades and decades of.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Watching what works and doesn't work around the world.
- 24:37Speaker 1: If you can take away faith in people, then the
- 24:41Speaker 1: government can become your religion. If you can take away
- 24:44Speaker 1: the father in the home, then the government can become
- 24:48Speaker 1: the father. If you can take away traditional marriage where
- 24:54Speaker 1: no one gets married, then you become the husband or
- 24:58Speaker 1: the wife to the other person, the government. You look
- 25:03Speaker 1: at the strongest relationships in America today, I would argue
- 25:06Speaker 1: the strongest relationship in America today is the relationship between
- 25:11Speaker 1: the government and the single mothers, the single parents. You
- 25:15Speaker 1: look at education. How many parents are not involved in
- 25:20Speaker 1: their kids' education anymore in the public school system. They
- 25:22Speaker 1: just drop them off. It's become daycare. Why has it
- 25:25Speaker 1: become daycare? Because they've allowed it to become daycare. So
- 25:30Speaker 1: why is the Boy Scouts of America rebranding? It's real
- 25:34Speaker 1: and something else I do have.
- 25:35Speaker 2: To say about this.
- 25:36Speaker 1: This rebranding happened by an organization that was a Texas
- 25:42Speaker 1: based organization founded one hundred and fourteen years ago.
- 25:48Speaker 2: It became a weak organization because it was.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Involved in scandal and turmoil over the flood of sexual
- 25:56Speaker 1: abuse claims and bankruptcy. And they said, no, no, no,
- 25:58Speaker 1: we're not going to let this I We're gonna, we're gonna,
- 26:03Speaker 1: We're gonna save you. The left came in and said,
- 26:06Speaker 1: we're gonna save you, but we're gonna have to save
- 26:08Speaker 1: you by bringing girls. And the only way you can
- 26:10Speaker 1: survive is if we have an inclusive message, uh that
- 26:14Speaker 1: girls can join throughout its ranks and boys that identify
- 26:19Speaker 1: as girls can join throughout the ranks. The chief executive
- 26:23Speaker 1: officer said, quote, it sends us really strong message to
- 26:26Speaker 1: everyone in America that can come to this program. So
- 26:30Speaker 1: everyone can come, right, We got rid of boys or
- 26:33Speaker 1: boys and girls or girls. Anyone can come. We sent
- 26:37Speaker 1: a really strong message his words that they can come
- 26:42Speaker 1: and be who they are and they will be welcomed here.
- 26:48Speaker 1: By the way, you want to know when this CEO
- 26:50Speaker 1: took over, he took over last fall. He was too
- 26:53Speaker 1: progressive and liberal to take over five years ago. And
- 26:57Speaker 1: so now the change was announced after many conservatives of
- 27:00Speaker 1: ban in the organization, many churches that were not going
- 27:02Speaker 1: to do Boy Scouts anymore. And it was announced on
- 27:06Speaker 1: Tuesday at the Boy Scouts national meeting in Florida. They
- 27:09Speaker 1: didn't have their meeting in Texas but Florida, and they
- 27:13Speaker 1: said this is going to change everything.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And they're right.
- 27:17Speaker 1: The Boy Scouts have been murdered, and they've been murdered
- 27:20Speaker 1: by the extreme and radical left who are now saying,
- 27:24Speaker 1: going forward, all children and teens are very very welcome,
- 27:29Speaker 1: regardless of how you identify. By the way you notice,
- 27:34Speaker 1: the same thing has to happen for them to take over.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Something had to be weak. When people are poor, liberals
- 27:43Speaker 1: can take over. You know why Donald Trump was the
- 27:46Speaker 1: biggest threat to the Democratic Party in twenty sixteen, seventeen, eighteen,
- 27:49Speaker 1: and nineteen because he was empowering people to take care
- 27:52Speaker 1: of themselves and he was making the Democratic Party irrelevant,
- 27:55Speaker 1: and only because of COVID he didn't win reelection.
- 27:59Speaker 2: The Scouts understand something.
- 28:03Speaker 1: You have to make organizations weak so that you can
- 28:07Speaker 1: then take them over, because if they're strong, you can't
- 28:10Speaker 1: take them over. Public education became weak.
- 28:14Speaker 2: It's a failure. Look at public education in America day,
- 28:16Speaker 2: it's a failure.
- 28:17Speaker 1: The majority of public schools, the major cities are failing
- 28:19Speaker 1: schools with failing grades, where kids that aren't even graduating
- 28:23Speaker 1: with an eighth grade reading, writing, arithmetic level of understanding,
- 28:27Speaker 1: but they've taken them over. They don't care if your
- 28:30Speaker 1: kids failing. They don't care if your kids winning. They
- 28:33Speaker 1: don't care if your kid can read right and do arithmetic,
- 28:36Speaker 1: as long as they own their mind when they send
- 28:38Speaker 1: them out into society. You look at the biggest cities
- 28:41Speaker 1: in America today, what do we have? High crime, high poverty,
- 28:44Speaker 1: a massive amount of single mothers. They don't care if
- 28:47Speaker 1: you're actually suffering, not living your best life because they
- 28:50Speaker 1: control you. The government has become the father to all
- 28:54Speaker 1: of these children. You have to have a week home,
- 28:59Speaker 1: you have to have a weak family, you have to
- 29:01Speaker 1: have week everything for there to be an opportunity to
- 29:07Speaker 1: take over. And the problem you know, I'm gonna read
- 29:12Speaker 1: you an ap line here it says quote. Like other organizations,
- 29:14Speaker 1: the Scouts lost members during the pandemic when participation was difficult.
- 29:18Speaker 1: The high point over the past decade was in eighteen
- 29:21Speaker 1: when there were over two million Scouts. Currently, the organization
- 29:25Speaker 1: serves just over one million, so they've lost half their membership.
- 29:27Speaker 1: A million people disappeared. Okay, they lost one million young people,
- 29:33Speaker 1: including more than one hundred and seventy six thousand girls
- 29:36Speaker 1: and teens. So of the one million people, almost twenty
- 29:41Speaker 1: percent of girls. Membership peaked in nineteen seventy two at
- 29:45Speaker 1: more than five million members. Just to put it in perspective,
- 29:48Speaker 1: and the new CEO said that although the name is changed,
- 29:50Speaker 1: in the core of the organization is staying the same.
- 29:52Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Our mission remains unchanged. We're committed to teaching young people
- 29:57Speaker 1: to be prepared for life. In a written statement, that's
- 30:00Speaker 1: not what's happened. The real organization allowing gay members in thirteen,
- 30:05Speaker 1: ending blanket band on gay adult leaders in fifteen. In seventeen,
- 30:09Speaker 1: they made the historic announcement the girls will be accepted
- 30:11Speaker 1: as cub Scouts, and as of twenty eighteen, they decided,
- 30:17Speaker 1: you know, hey, we're gonna get rid of the Boy
- 30:19Speaker 1: Scout program.
- 30:20Speaker 2: We're gonna rename it.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Congratulations, folks, they've done it. They have killed another amazing
- 30:27Speaker 1: American organization, and they did it by playing the long game.
