- 1:59Speaker 1: at it h A good morning everybody you're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me NW one and only.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show. First of all, I
- 2:12Speaker 1: want to say thank you to everybody who are offers
- 2:16Speaker 1: me encouragement with my moments of inspiration in the moment
- 2:21Speaker 1: in the morning. UM, I want to say this to you.
- 2:25Speaker 1: A lot of times I'm I'm saying the things that
- 2:27Speaker 1: I need to hear. Oh, and now I've heard from
- 2:31Speaker 1: a lot of people that they really appreciate it and
- 2:33Speaker 1: it benefits them and has helped them in so many ways.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I thank you for saying that. But you all helped
- 2:39Speaker 1: me too, and I thank you for that. You know,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I don't have to be in a position. I mean,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I'm in this position because of God's grace and mercy
- 2:49Speaker 1: in my life. And you know I work hard, I do,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I'll admit that, but I've I've learned over the years
- 2:57Speaker 1: that you know, you got to give God to something
- 3:00Speaker 1: to bless You know a lot of us want blessings,
- 3:04Speaker 1: but we ain't got nothing in action, We ain't moving,
- 3:07Speaker 1: you know, to give God nothing to put his hand on,
- 3:11Speaker 1: to touch on your behalf. And that's what I've tried
- 3:14Speaker 1: to do. I've tried to work hard enough to give
- 3:17Speaker 1: God some stuff that he can put his hands on
- 3:21Speaker 1: on my behalf. You know, I take meetings when I
- 3:23Speaker 1: ain't really sure how they're gonna go. But maybe God
- 3:26Speaker 1: are going there and touch somebody on my behalf. I
- 3:29Speaker 1: don't know. But He can't touch nobody on your behalf
- 3:32Speaker 1: at the meeting if you don't take the meeting, you know,
- 3:35Speaker 1: if you don't go and try and make the sale,
- 3:37Speaker 1: if you don't put the call in to make the sale,
- 3:40Speaker 1: God can't touch nobody to make him by you feel me,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I mean, you know, and I ain't trying to make
- 3:46Speaker 1: it sound like people around me or I know ain't
- 3:49Speaker 1: doing nothing. I'm just telling you that the way I've
- 3:51Speaker 1: discovered it now that there could be another way I
- 3:54Speaker 1: have not discovered it yet. So doing my little moments
- 3:58Speaker 1: of inspiration, I can and come from what I know.
- 4:01Speaker 1: But I do thank everybody for the encouragement or from
- 4:04Speaker 1: time to time I just want to say thank you too.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But I'm a lot of times I'm trying to get
- 4:09Speaker 1: myself through some things. So here's a good one today. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you're ready. Everybody and anybody can pray. See. That's the
- 4:17Speaker 1: thing about prayer. Everybody and anybody can pray. See and
- 4:23Speaker 1: and and and let me say this to what you
- 4:25Speaker 1: got to lose by praying what you you ain't gotta
- 4:29Speaker 1: make no spectacle of it. It don't say you have
- 4:31Speaker 1: to go to the center of the courthouse, get on
- 4:35Speaker 1: your knees on the other side of the metal detective
- 4:38Speaker 1: and cry out that ain't how God work. You ain't
- 4:41Speaker 1: got to show out for God God to do all
- 4:44Speaker 1: the showing out you are you. All you got to
- 4:46Speaker 1: do is do you lead a showing out part to God.
- 4:49Speaker 1: He's gonna clown for you, please, No, he gonna show
- 4:52Speaker 1: you off. To everybody who needs to see it, and
- 4:55Speaker 1: especially your enemies. So you leave a showing out part
- 4:58Speaker 1: to him. You can pray, I mean everybody and anybody
- 5:02Speaker 1: can pray. Prayer is for everybody and anybody. Everybody and anybody.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I don't need prayer if you're not applying it. I'm
- 5:11Speaker 1: gonna tell you, man, you're missing out on something here,
- 5:14Speaker 1: because you're missing out on something. First of all, you
- 5:16Speaker 1: don't have to check with nobody to pray. You ain't
- 5:20Speaker 1: got to clear it with nobody to pray. You don't
- 5:23Speaker 1: need permission from anybody to pray. You ain't even got
- 5:29Speaker 1: to tell nobody if you don't want to that you've
- 5:32Speaker 1: been praying about something. Now, like a cat like me
- 5:36Speaker 1: that has seen prayer work over and over and over,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem saying out loud that I'm
- 5:42Speaker 1: praying about something that I prayed for this and it
- 5:45Speaker 1: came true. That I'm praying that God get me through
- 5:47Speaker 1: something that I don't really have a problem saying that
- 5:50Speaker 1: because it didn't work for me so many times and
- 5:55Speaker 1: it has never ever failed me yet. Prayer has never
- 5:59Speaker 1: not worked for me. Now, you gotta understand something. Sometimes
- 6:03Speaker 1: the answer to your prayer is no. But see, I
- 6:06Speaker 1: got that too, though. See I understand that part of it,
- 6:11Speaker 1: that sometimes the answer to the prayer is no. I
- 6:15Speaker 1: got that, you know. Come on, Steve. Sometimes the answer
- 6:20Speaker 1: is no, and I've learned to accept that. But at
- 6:23Speaker 1: least now that I know that the answer is no,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I can move on to the next step or move
- 6:27Speaker 1: on to the way he got for me. See, sometimes
- 6:30Speaker 1: I pray for stuff I won't and then sometimes the
- 6:33Speaker 1: answer to what I want is know. Then I said, okay, well, God,
- 6:36Speaker 1: what you got from me? What he got from me
- 6:38Speaker 1: way better than thing I was about to pray for
- 6:40Speaker 1: or the thing I was praying for. And I gotta
- 6:42Speaker 1: know too. But you gotta do it a little bit
- 6:44Speaker 1: to understand that part. But let's just talk about the
- 6:46Speaker 1: basic benefits of prayer, because he prayers. Ben official, y'all
- 6:52Speaker 1: listen to me. Now you're listening to a cat. I'm
- 6:55Speaker 1: telling you what I know. I ain't guessing about this one. Here.
- 6:58Speaker 1: This is what I know. Prayer is for everybody, and
- 7:02Speaker 1: anybody can pray. But here are the benefits for me
- 7:07Speaker 1: in my life that prayer has helped me. And this
- 7:09Speaker 1: is not in the order of significance or importance. These
- 7:12Speaker 1: are just some of the elements that occur when I pray.
- 7:16Speaker 1: First of all, purpose, I find purpose in prayer, you know,
- 7:22Speaker 1: like if I'm trying to figure out the mission and
- 7:25Speaker 1: the how come, the what for? The why I did it,
- 7:29Speaker 1: the how to? That that's purpose. I get purpose when
- 7:33Speaker 1: I pray. I ask God, what's the purpose? What am
- 7:36Speaker 1: I doing it for? What? What? What does it matter?
- 7:39Speaker 1: He gives me that in prayer. Sometimes I get direction.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Direction is a beautiful thing. I get, Okay, which way?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Which way? Lord? I'm I'm tossed up. I got a
- 7:50Speaker 1: decision to make, and I ain't really show what to do.
- 7:52Speaker 1: What should I do? Show me which way to go? Direction?
- 7:56Speaker 1: How many times have you needed some direction? Well, that's
- 7:59Speaker 1: what prayer does. Let's talk about him again. Now, purpose direction.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Here's another good thing. It provides clarity, Lord E mercy Man.
- 8:08Speaker 1: How many times has he cleared it from me? Showed
- 8:11Speaker 1: it to me? Remove some people out the way, put
- 8:14Speaker 1: some people over here, exposed something to me that I
- 8:18Speaker 1: really needed to know. See, prayer work on so many levels.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Purpose direction, clarity, now, oh I see now, oh oh.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Sometimes it's exposing an enemy showing you somebody who's betraying
- 8:34Speaker 1: you sometimes is showing you somebody's just hanging on for
- 8:37Speaker 1: all the wrong weak Just clarity, man, I thank him
- 8:41Speaker 1: for clarity through prayer. Here's another one. Calmness. It just
- 8:46Speaker 1: calms me down, man, It just makes me. It just
- 8:50Speaker 1: makes me feel easier to know that I ain't out
- 8:53Speaker 1: here dealing with it by myself, that I got a
- 8:56Speaker 1: power that out and tapped in that's greater than all powers.
- 9:00Speaker 1: The most, the most electrifying, stimulating, sensational power available to
- 9:06Speaker 1: mankind is your connection with your creator, with God. There's
- 9:11Speaker 1: nothing greater for you, man, that nothing. I don't care
- 9:13Speaker 1: what you nobody tell you. There's nothing greater you can
- 9:16Speaker 1: do for yourself. Then get in touch with who made
- 9:18Speaker 1: you and find out what your purpose is. Get yourself
- 9:22Speaker 1: some direction about who you are, get yourself some clarity
- 9:25Speaker 1: about what you ought to be doing, and then calm down, man,
- 9:28Speaker 1: so everything don't upset you. You know, sometimes many people
- 9:31Speaker 1: want to man, I don't know how you deal with
- 9:33Speaker 1: all that because I didn't prayed, man, and I didn't
- 9:36Speaker 1: got me some calmness working in my life to where
- 9:38Speaker 1: all these waters that's raging around me and these storms
- 9:41Speaker 1: and everything. It ain't tossing my boat upside down, or
- 9:44Speaker 1: I'll be up in it sometimes, but I'm not turning
- 9:47Speaker 1: over and drowning and all this hell. I got a calmness, man,
- 9:51Speaker 1: knowing that God is working on my behalf, that he's
- 9:55Speaker 1: getting it done for me. And no matter how wrong
- 9:57Speaker 1: it looked for me, right now, I know God got
- 10:00Speaker 1: me calmness. It's really cool to have calmness. Man. Here's
- 10:05Speaker 1: something else that guilds to me to understanding and wisdom.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It just makes me go, okay, I got that. I
- 10:11Speaker 1: see Oh you know what man, I was tripping on that. Okay,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I see you know what that's going down because it
- 10:18Speaker 1: is and because that happened. Now look at what that. Oh,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I see how that's working. That's wisdom, that's understanding. And
- 10:25Speaker 1: then just one more thing before we get out of here.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Just make me feel hopeful sometime. A matter of fact,
- 10:31Speaker 1: all the time, it just always got me, got me,
- 10:34Speaker 1: got got me feeled with hope that I know something
- 10:37Speaker 1: big about to pop off, that's something else about to
- 10:39Speaker 1: go down. He just give me hope, man. That's what
- 10:42Speaker 1: prayer does. They do all them things. So if you
- 10:45Speaker 1: ain't praying. I check into it today. Really, it is
- 10:47Speaker 1: such a powerful and beneficial thing to all of us.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Anybody and everybody could pray. Just talk to him, just
- 10:53Speaker 1: like just like you're talking to anybody. Or watch watch,
- 10:55Speaker 1: watch how you feel you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys
- 11:03Speaker 1: and girls, people all around the world. This is Steve
- 11:06Speaker 1: Rvan Marty show. It is now. I'm trying to tell
- 11:08Speaker 1: you enjoyment, levity, information and ignorance. Look, I'm not here
- 11:17Speaker 1: to tell you what's going on in the White House.
- 11:19Speaker 1: We can't do a damn thing about it. I am
- 11:21Speaker 1: here to make you forget about the White House just
- 11:25Speaker 1: for a moment, and just so much going on there.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Let's give ourselves a break. The Lord have messy because
- 11:34Speaker 1: he don't tweet aback, don't you worry. I ain't never
- 11:38Speaker 1: seen nothing like it. Man, crazy, I mean, seriously, man,
- 11:41Speaker 1: this is crazy. But every single day, though, every day
- 11:45Speaker 1: you wake up to something. I mean, man, it's like
- 11:48Speaker 1: sending It's just like you got a bad child and
- 11:51Speaker 1: you sent him up to the school and you know,
- 11:53Speaker 1: the phone in the rest and then lying, the levels
- 11:57Speaker 1: of lying his all real. I didn't know. I didn't
- 12:02Speaker 1: know you could do that. You're a proponent of lie.
- 12:07Speaker 1: You like lying, but this is necessary that you want
- 12:13Speaker 1: to relationship friendships. You know, somebody got to tell a lie.
- 12:19Speaker 1: How are you today? Fine? You can't tell everybody what's
- 12:22Speaker 1: wrong with you every day? That nobody want to be
- 12:24Speaker 1: around you. They don't want to hear that the hey man,
- 12:29Speaker 1: how's everything going? Man? Everything is great. That's how you
- 12:33Speaker 1: maintain relationships that lie? Right there? Don't y'all think that
- 12:36Speaker 1: lies acceptable? Okay? Surely asked me a serious of questions,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and I'm gonna show you an appropriate lie for anything. Steve.
- 12:45Speaker 1: How much money do you have? Oh? Man, I got
- 12:48Speaker 1: I got enough to hang in there with, Steve. How
- 12:52Speaker 1: tall are you? How tall are you? Uh? You know
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm not that you know, I'm over average? Man,
- 12:59Speaker 1: I'm what you know? I ain't ain't tall as I
- 13:01Speaker 1: want to be. You know, like if I was six nine,
- 13:04Speaker 1: i'd have been in the league. What you just can't say?
- 13:07Speaker 1: How you are? I gotta wait and see what question
- 13:10Speaker 1: two is. See why you asking me how tall I am?
- 13:15Speaker 1: That's the question. I'm just telling you how how we
- 13:18Speaker 1: do it? What's our shoot? You? Steve? Who last time.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Let me see how you throwing. Last time I tried
- 13:26Speaker 1: on the shoe, last time I measured, I was growing. Man,
- 13:32Speaker 1: it was like a man. I had it like eleven
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the leventh grade. Man ain't not telling where it
- 13:38Speaker 1: is now? Because I'm sixty, I know I'm gonna hear. Well,
- 13:40Speaker 1: I don't win, No sixty. When's your birthday? When will
- 13:43Speaker 1: you be sixty one? Oh a little you know you
- 13:47Speaker 1: could be you know, you know, you know, just right
- 13:50Speaker 1: after Christ, right and right, you could be in the
- 13:57Speaker 1: White House for sure. Now ask me questions and I
- 14:02Speaker 1: just give you direct life. What what kind of car
- 14:05Speaker 1: are you driving? I ain't got no call. How many
- 14:08Speaker 1: kids do you have? Kids? To wait? How many times
- 14:15Speaker 1: have you been married? That's say at all. Yeah, you
- 14:21Speaker 1: don't have to say another word that that meant something
- 14:26Speaker 1: to you. All right, listen, coming up something funny. We're
- 14:33Speaker 1: gonna talk about what's something your parents did when you
- 14:35Speaker 1: were a kid that a parent could never do today?
- 14:39Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back at thirty two after Yeah,
- 14:43Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here's a
- 14:46Speaker 1: question for something funny, Steve, what's something your parents did
- 14:50Speaker 1: when you were a kid that nowadays moms and dad's
- 14:54Speaker 1: could never get away with. Beat me on I number
- 14:57Speaker 1: eight at the grocer stones in front of people. That's
- 15:02Speaker 1: that's yeah, yeah, yeah, damn man? What where what's the
- 15:12Speaker 1: thing you get? You get where you show up? That's
- 15:15Speaker 1: where you get. At the school second grade in front
- 15:18Speaker 1: of the whole class, right, got my ass to She
- 15:22Speaker 1: came up up there, you know when they get off
- 15:26Speaker 1: their job and come. I let you. But what she
- 15:29Speaker 1: doing time she kicked that do over? I was cutting up?
- 15:32Speaker 1: Later have been telling I've been cutting up, So she
- 15:35Speaker 1: I get My mama dropped me off and decided not
- 15:36Speaker 1: even to go and go to work here and just
- 15:39Speaker 1: stood there by the door and waited for me to
- 15:41Speaker 1: cut Soon as I started, is right? My mama came
- 15:46Speaker 1: up to the school, gave all my particular teachers permission
- 15:51Speaker 1: to pad on me, then gave him her house number
- 15:54Speaker 1: and called me. So when you get home, I can
- 15:56Speaker 1: show you how I really posted. Go whoa double double beatings?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Double service? Why the choir singing? So they can't hear me?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Do they see? They see what's going on in the
- 16:15Speaker 1: pub back there? This boy's over that house that you
- 16:17Speaker 1: were praising the Lord because she's out here weighing me
- 16:21Speaker 1: out here, show he'll save. Yeah, I don't even know
- 16:25Speaker 1: when it at church care. Yeah, it's why the choir sang.
- 16:30Speaker 1: That's what they can't hear me. That's where won't he
- 16:32Speaker 1: do it? Started? She do? My mama sent me to
- 16:39Speaker 1: school one time with the exact same thing in my
- 16:42Speaker 1: lunch bag for six months. Oh what do you mean?
- 16:46Speaker 1: The same line? That was the exact same damn thing,
- 16:50Speaker 1: because I told her I don't eat no tuning if
- 16:55Speaker 1: you do everything. And yeah, I've been in the junior
- 17:03Speaker 1: choir and my mama says something to me, and I
- 17:06Speaker 1: mumbled something. I got hit. I'm in the quai stand
- 17:11Speaker 1: and she said something and I, Mama, don't need my
- 17:13Speaker 1: breath while we up in the quastion. I'm thinking, you know,
- 17:15Speaker 1: she read you way over there. Pew number five got
- 17:18Speaker 1: hit with a hum book on target, right in the face.
- 17:26Speaker 1: My mama could have actually quarterback for Cleveland. Got the girl?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Got what what I was eating? I was eating some
- 17:36Speaker 1: candy in church. Yeah, my mama visibly show the candy
- 17:45Speaker 1: out of my mouth. I'm talking about two hands until
- 17:52Speaker 1: it came out. Get it out, Get it out but
- 17:54Speaker 1: shaking me though, but in a pew in front of people.
- 17:58Speaker 1: You couldn't do that. You couldn't do none of this.
- 18:00Speaker 1: You can't do it today. You can't. Uh. And parents
- 18:02Speaker 1: were That's what we're talking about. Things that parents did
- 18:05Speaker 1: when we were kids that they could never get away with.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Switch pull over and get a switch. You can't do that.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Make you get yes, Tommy, get out, pick it, clean
- 18:14Speaker 1: it off, bring it here, and I'm gonna beat you
- 18:17Speaker 1: with that's too much work. You know how long it
- 18:19Speaker 1: take to get this week a swipping with an extension
- 18:22Speaker 1: code in all? This is abuse now? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 1: yeah yeah classified abuse. Yeah. I watched my sister called
- 18:32Speaker 1: called CPS or my mom and they came over there. Yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 1: she beat it, she'd beat in front of them. There's
- 18:39Speaker 1: no problems here people. Yeah, you want to call them people.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'll get y'all a show hold on that, ladies and
- 18:48Speaker 1: CBS said, well, there's no problems here, it's closed. Whoa wow,
- 18:55Speaker 1: you guys, you can't do that. You can't do it.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I mean these days and kids, it's just I think
- 19:02Speaker 1: our parenting styles are different too, you know what I mean.
- 19:04Speaker 1: It's like these kids they get away with so much.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Pasha came home from school. She had a bad day.
- 19:09Speaker 1: She slammed, held book bad down. I didn't know what
- 19:11Speaker 1: to do. What I'm saying that I had done that knocked?
- 19:18Speaker 1: You're slamming back buying book back? Yeah, book bage? Now
- 19:24Speaker 1: you want to brook bag? You know with Steve? Didn't
- 19:28Speaker 1: your parents take the door off? The slammed that dough
- 19:31Speaker 1: so hard. My daddy said, so we're slamming does huh?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Took the whole dough off? The hend people people come
- 19:40Speaker 1: by a visit, just passing by. Why I stayed in
- 19:43Speaker 1: my room as a kid. Just ain't got no privacy that. Yeah,
- 19:47Speaker 1: my dad left that dough off about three months. Wow,
- 19:51Speaker 1: your lesson man parenting now here? My daddy was. I'm right.
- 19:55Speaker 1: He didn't call me, obviously, I took too long getting there.
- 19:59Speaker 1: He stay and on the side of the house. I
- 20:02Speaker 1: ride my bike pass to Jimny. His ass pushed me off.
- 20:08Speaker 1: How you threw that to you? I'm talking about pushing
- 20:15Speaker 1: me hard? What nothing was? No where I could have
- 20:17Speaker 1: kept my belly if we ain't even wobble right, he
- 20:21Speaker 1: pushed I went straight down. My daddy was strong. The
- 20:25Speaker 1: kids today got me. I'll here his yard waiting on you.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I'm riding up up the drive when he's standing behind
- 20:37Speaker 1: the chick. Soon as I got by, that chimney stuck

- 27:38Speaker 1: that damn dope. Can I say something? Man? You need
- 27:42Speaker 1: to shut your damn mold. This is Nephew timing from
- 27:46Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You know what you just
- 27:49Speaker 1: got prank by? Man? Y'all sock dirty? I do dare well, man, dog,
- 28:04Speaker 1: you just got pranked by your boy winn Man. I'm
- 28:10Speaker 1: sweating like hey, up in this damn hagged withdrawals. Ooh man,
- 28:15Speaker 1: sit up here. I want to play with man. Look
- 28:17Speaker 1: at here, boy, I'm sweating like here, Why are you sweating?
- 28:21Speaker 1: It was for the do because I damn sure wants
- 28:22Speaker 1: you to come down to the house. That's a show.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I know you weren't coming to that. I heard it
- 28:27Speaker 1: in your voice. I say, okay, you know what, he
- 28:30Speaker 1: ain't coming to get me, man, I'm gonna be here
- 28:33Speaker 1: right now. Man, I might need to take off the
- 28:34Speaker 1: word board. Hey, let me ask you something, man, what
- 28:40Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the land. K't be
- 28:44Speaker 1: nobody but the Steve Harvey's Morning Show with that other
- 28:48Speaker 1: that nephew Tommy when he's crazy. That is baby shut favorite.
- 29:02Speaker 1: But I can't do nothing fight, I listen. I can't
- 29:04Speaker 1: come down now. I can't do nothing fight. I call
- 29:07Speaker 1: it law. Which what do you want me to do?
- 29:09Speaker 1: What you want me to do? I call law right now?
- 29:12Speaker 1: And I think you love it. We talked about it
- 29:14Speaker 1: yesterday so much because you can see it and its individual.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Steve is a storytellers. Yeah. Yeah, that's my daddy sitting
- 29:24Speaker 1: on the edge of the couch in the edge of
- 29:26Speaker 1: the bed here some draws with a cell phone trying
- 29:31Speaker 1: to help this boy, but not really over right. What
- 29:34Speaker 1: you know is, I'm not coming down, but I love
- 29:36Speaker 1: this Veronica brother. Hey, won't he do it? Brank phone
- 29:45Speaker 1: called c D You can get it at Walmart right now,
- 29:49Speaker 1: the best stocking stuff, but you can get I'm in
- 29:51Speaker 1: over four Walmart's across the country. Won't we do it?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Going in a Walmart? Asked, somebody want the best on
- 29:57Speaker 1: won't we do it? And if you tell me Frank
- 29:58Speaker 1: c D? They got it over there? You love of
- 30:00Speaker 1: prankin church people? Why not the best? And here's the
- 30:03Speaker 1: trip part. What church people don't want the beats on
- 30:07Speaker 1: the c D? What they don't want the beats? They
- 30:10Speaker 1: want to hear the cussin. I had a couple of pounds,
- 30:13Speaker 1: Hey time, is it possible to get me one without
- 30:16Speaker 1: all the beeps in it? Man? It's real, It's real.
- 30:22Speaker 1: It's a really trust to know that cussing is funny.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Now you know what? Many preachers used to come to
- 30:29Speaker 1: my show and be bit over alright, coming up at
- 30:32Speaker 1: the top of the hour, the NFL eight nine million
- 30:35Speaker 1: dollar bribe to stop kneeling did not work. Plus ms
- 30:39Speaker 1: and will be here with today's national news and headlines.
- 30:42Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, the
- 30:47Speaker 1: NFL's attempt to quote unquote bribe players to stop kneeling
- 30:52Speaker 1: and protesting has failed. Uh. In case you missed this,
- 30:56Speaker 1: it was reported last week that the league league offered
- 30:59Speaker 1: to contribute eighty nine million dollars over seven years to
- 31:02Speaker 1: two organizations that would find fund causes, I should say
- 31:06Speaker 1: within the African American community. The player coalition could choose
- 31:10Speaker 1: which organization benefited from the donations. The league hope their
- 31:15Speaker 1: gesture would stop the players from protesting. And what they're
- 31:18Speaker 1: protesting for again is inequality. Okay, nothing else but that
- 31:25Speaker 1: during the anthem, But the deal apparently didn't work, since
- 31:29Speaker 1: Russell o'kang, Marshawn Lynch, and several other players silently demonstrated
- 31:34Speaker 1: during last week's and this week's games. Are Reportedly some
- 31:37Speaker 1: players felt the NFL would just allocate the money in
- 31:40Speaker 1: ways that would ultimately benefit the league, like funding public
- 31:44Speaker 1: service announcements that basically advertised the organization. Other players felt
- 31:49Speaker 1: like the payoff was a bribe and was not worth
- 31:52Speaker 1: selling out. That's what they said it would be if
- 31:55Speaker 1: they stopped me. Yea, yes, especially Steve Soul what's his
- 32:00Speaker 1: last thing? Kong from the Chargers. He was also mentioning
- 32:04Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick. You know he was still he's still blackball
- 32:07Speaker 1: from the NFL and not listen and you know he is,
- 32:12Speaker 1: yeah yeah, but ineffective quarterbacks quit. This man is not
- 32:17Speaker 1: even given a chance. It's because they have gotten together
- 32:22Speaker 1: and decided to take him out of the league and
- 32:25Speaker 1: make an example out of this young man for standing
- 32:28Speaker 1: up for his human basic rights to protest in the
- 32:32Speaker 1: United States. This hypocritical mess that they pull it and
- 32:37Speaker 1: they always want to stand there like the NFL and
- 32:39Speaker 1: NFL ain't that righteous? Yeah, and then to flip it,
- 32:43Speaker 1: you know why they're kneeling, to say that they're disrespecting
- 32:46Speaker 1: our troops and disrespect has nothing to do with nothing, nothing.
- 32:50Speaker 1: It was an attempt at hush money, like here's the money,
- 32:53Speaker 1: not stand up. Yeah. Well, I'm extremely proud of the
- 32:57Speaker 1: men of the NFL for for something. I'm extremely proud
- 33:02Speaker 1: of that. And you know what, though, I want Colin
- 33:05Speaker 1: Kaepernick to get a I really do. But I mean
- 33:08Speaker 1: I think this is bigger than he is, and I
- 33:10Speaker 1: think he's going to be all right. He's going to
- 33:12Speaker 1: be all right eventually. It's hard now, it's yeah, because
- 33:18Speaker 1: he's thirty, you know right now. I mean, he took
- 33:21Speaker 1: his team to the Super Bowl. Come on, he's a
- 33:22Speaker 1: great player and he's sacrificed this dream. Absolutely, these boys
- 33:27Speaker 1: that get drafted and get in the NFL, these are
- 33:29Speaker 1: dream jobs for him. You can't tell a dude, right,
- 33:33Speaker 1: you can't tell his dude, he can't play football no
- 33:35Speaker 1: more because he don't want no more discrimination. Yeah, but
- 33:42Speaker 1: the president is a huge part of this. Yes he is, Steve. Yes,
- 33:46Speaker 1: if he would quit worring about stuff and and run
- 33:51Speaker 1: this country the way he's supposed to get rid if
- 33:53Speaker 1: he didn't put such a focus on it. And they
- 33:57Speaker 1: call these men sums of bitches. Crazy man, that's crazy. Yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 1: when he insulted them, the protesting got yea, when you
- 34:07Speaker 1: insulted them that, I wasn't surprised at that though. I
- 34:10Speaker 1: was a little bit surprised. But then you know, you said,
- 34:12Speaker 1: you grab a woman by the pete and you steal
- 34:15Speaker 1: the president. You may then you turned around and say
- 34:19Speaker 1: that's not me on the tape. And then Billy Bush
- 34:23Speaker 1: tweeted over the weekend and said, Mr President, it's you,
- 34:27Speaker 1: it was you, it was me, and it was you. Okay,
- 34:29Speaker 1: I'm out of work and saying nothing. They tried to
- 34:35Speaker 1: flip that, saying, oh, Billy Bush is trying to make
- 34:37Speaker 1: a comeback, now, that's why he well, what are proposed
- 34:41Speaker 1: to do? He doesn't deserve to have a job to
- 34:44Speaker 1: come on, ridiculous. Billy Bush should be given another chance,
- 34:50Speaker 1: just like Donald Trump was given he should all right, Steve,
- 34:54Speaker 1: we gotta move on. Please introduce plaies and gentlemen. She's
- 34:57Speaker 1: here our very own this and trip. Thanks and now
- 35:01Speaker 1: I'm going to get to something like that before the
- 35:03Speaker 1: end of this cast. Thanks everybody. This is andwered. The
- 35:05Speaker 1: congressional seat representing Detroit is open for the first time
- 35:08Speaker 1: in over fifty years because Representative John Kanye has retired
- 35:11Speaker 1: yesterday in the wake of accusations of sexual improprieties. Instance
- 35:14Speaker 1: he's still denied. Yesterday on Detroit's Mildred Gaddis radio show,
- 35:18Speaker 1: as he nevertheless said, I'm done. They are not accurate,
- 35:22Speaker 1: They're not true, and I can't explain where they came from.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I am retiring today, and the eighty eight year old
- 35:31Speaker 1: addressed his legacy. My legacy will continue through my children
- 35:36Speaker 1: and especially in my oldest boy, John Kanyers the third,
- 35:43Speaker 1: who incidentally, I am Joyce uh to replace me in
- 35:48Speaker 1: my seat in Congress. Now. John Kanye Is the Third
- 35:51Speaker 1: is twenty seven and has never held public office. However,
- 35:54Speaker 1: a grand nephew of the Conyers, Ian Kanyers, is twenty nine,
- 35:57Speaker 1: and he's currently a state senator. He's also express interest
- 36:00Speaker 1: in running for that seat. California Governor Jerry Brown's declared
- 36:03Speaker 1: a state of emergency about sixty miles northwest of Los
- 36:06Speaker 1: Angeles in Ventura County because of a fast moving blaze
- 36:09Speaker 1: tends the thousands of residents have been forced to evacuate.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Alabama Santa candid Roy Moore has now the open support
- 36:15Speaker 1: of both the Republican Party and the President, and it's
- 36:17Speaker 1: bid for the US Senate seat most recently held by
- 36:20Speaker 1: U s Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Although Moore is basically
- 36:23Speaker 1: accused of being a child molester, that's apparently better than
- 36:25Speaker 1: being a Democratic going to the President and Beyonce presented
- 36:29Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick yesterday with Sports Illustrated Mohammad Ali Legacy Awards.
- 36:32Speaker 1: It's been said that racism is so American that when
- 36:36Speaker 1: we protest racism summerssum we're protesting America. So let's be
- 36:41Speaker 1: very clear. Colin has always been very respectful, ladies and gentlemen.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I'm so proud and humbled to present the Mohammed Ali
- 36:51Speaker 1: Legacy Award to Colin Kaepernick. I accept this award knowing
- 36:56Speaker 1: that the legacy in Mohammad Ali is that of a
- 36:58Speaker 1: champion of the people. I accept this ward not for myself,
- 37:02Speaker 1: but on behalf of the people, because if it were
- 37:05Speaker 1: not for my love for the people, I would not
- 37:07Speaker 1: have protested with or without the NFLS platform. I will
- 37:10Speaker 1: continue to work for the people because my platform is
- 37:14Speaker 1: the people. Again, that was calling Kapinnick last night being
- 37:17Speaker 1: presented the Sports Illustrated Muhammad Ali Legacy Award last night.
- 37:21Speaker 1: And Beyonce, what did the honors? And she did a
- 37:23Speaker 1: good job. Eugene the Butterfly twenty minutes after the hours.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Stay tuned to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:29Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, it is
- 37:33Speaker 1: your turn alone to introduce the Butterfly. Let's go Eugene.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Good It's okay, it's okay. Good morning everyone, Stephen, Shirley, Carla, Junior, Tammy,
- 37:45Speaker 1: good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning. Baby. Let's
- 37:49Speaker 1: get down to what has happened. The day is, the
- 37:53Speaker 1: day is going down. There is a race between Junior
- 37:57Speaker 1: and Tim. Let me tell you something. They were in
- 37:59Speaker 1: a at the yards. I am so torn because I
- 38:02Speaker 1: want to root for Junior. I want to stand on
- 38:04Speaker 1: the side route for Junior, but I gotta be inside
- 38:07Speaker 1: this day, I'm about it. That heat going to take
- 38:09Speaker 1: to the extreme. You know what I'm saying, it's just
- 38:11Speaker 1: too much. So now I gotta be it's way too
- 38:14Speaker 1: much because I wanted to root for you, Junior. I.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I was gonna have my palm palms and my stuff
- 38:18Speaker 1: because you're not. We was friends in a dressing room
- 38:21Speaker 1: when we was on twittergether, so you know that's my friends.
- 38:24Speaker 1: It's kind of disloyal thought. Well, now that was because
- 38:29Speaker 1: you're because if it wasn't for Tommy, there'd be no
- 38:31Speaker 1: you know now what I get what y'are coming from.
- 38:35Speaker 1: But if it wasn't for timing, I wouldn't be out
- 38:36Speaker 1: here trying to run no down fifty yards. Why am
- 38:39Speaker 1: I in the Why Why am I caught up in
- 38:41Speaker 1: the middle of fifty yards? So tell everybody about the
- 38:44Speaker 1: big race. So that was a race I was supposed
- 38:46Speaker 1: to happen a year or so ago between Tommy and Junior.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Year it never did happen. So Steve brought it up

- 39:06Speaker 1: get out of here root for Junior and just be
- 39:08Speaker 1: on the sideline and say, j your goal exactly. And
- 39:13Speaker 1: I had a whole bunch of tears and stuff I
- 39:14Speaker 1: was gonna put together, you know who for six hope
- 39:18Speaker 1: that what y'all appreciate. Junior, Junia, you've been. They don't

- 39:27Speaker 1: count down like that. That's the way. I'm sorry. What
- 39:34Speaker 1: helped me with it year anyway, anyway, Junior, Yeah, man,

- 40:04Speaker 1: little team Tommy teams Jr Team to Tommy. Yeah, I'm
- 40:13Speaker 1: team Tommy. I am team Jo because we have never
- 40:19Speaker 1: ever in the in the years that we've known Junior
- 40:22Speaker 1: ever heard him say anything about running. That's why I'm
- 40:27Speaker 1: voting on him. Called Tommy is fifty you. I want
- 40:31Speaker 1: to stretch you before you start. I want to talk
- 40:35Speaker 1: about him when we can't make him. You're listening to
- 40:39Speaker 1: the Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right, here we are

- 51:53Speaker 1: what what what we we didn't cuf cover them every
- 51:56Speaker 1: everything on the list? Man. Okay, but but but but
- 51:59Speaker 1: but but what one thing I ain't showed? What Come
- 52:03Speaker 1: on this nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Your sister got me, the friend got me the friend
- 52:16Speaker 1: look at this stay funny. I'm a I'm saying, hey man,
- 52:41Speaker 1: you hey, hey, you got I gotta ask you, man,
- 52:48Speaker 1: what's the bettest radio show in the land. This is
- 52:53Speaker 1: Steve Harvey and and the nephew Tommy. What y'all y'all
- 53:01Speaker 1: think I start studied bad? I studied bad like like
- 53:11Speaker 1: worse than him. My husband stuttered and he told me
- 53:15Speaker 1: to tell Tommy, he's gonna kick if I But can
- 53:23Speaker 1: I tell you something, man, You can stop stuttering. It's
- 53:27Speaker 1: a mental thing. It's nothing physically wrong with people who stutter.
- 53:32Speaker 1: I've helped so many boys that come to my camp. Man.
- 53:35Speaker 1: It's easier to teach a child than adult because children
- 53:38Speaker 1: just want to stop stuttering, so they just believe you
- 53:41Speaker 1: and they just do the exercises. The problem that stutterers
- 53:44Speaker 1: have when they go to counselors is the speech therapists
- 53:48Speaker 1: that they go to have never studied. So how do
- 53:51Speaker 1: you fix a mental thing? And you don't know what's
- 53:55Speaker 1: causing the mental thing? What caused yours? Eye contact? In
- 54:00Speaker 1: security overcome? See so many people was waiting on me
- 54:06Speaker 1: to stutter. I learned how to say the stuff to me.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Every time somebody asked me something, I say it to
- 54:12Speaker 1: myself three times before I answer, and then I say
- 54:16Speaker 1: it without making eye contact. Because if you ask people
- 54:18Speaker 1: who stutter, do they stuttered when they read? Nope? Do
- 54:22Speaker 1: they stutter when they're in the mirror talking today self? Nope?
- 54:25Speaker 1: That's how you know? Alright, So mental man, I could
- 54:29Speaker 1: help so many people. I think it just did just now. Yeah, alright,
- 54:33Speaker 1: coming up a stutter in camp. Coming up at the
- 54:37Speaker 1: top of the hour, we'll talk about the Alabama sent
- 54:40Speaker 1: it race. Oh boy, it's next Tuesday plus today Strawberry
- 54:45Speaker 1: letters on deck. You're listening to the Steve Morning Show.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Coming up next Today's crazy Strawberry letter. But before we
- 54:52Speaker 1: get to the letter, U listen. Despite numerous accusations of
- 54:56Speaker 1: misconduct and unwanted sexual advances made against Alabama Senate candidate
- 55:01Speaker 1: Roy Moore, including advances allegedly made toward teenage girls, the
- 55:07Speaker 1: White House has made it say, kids, you're not eighteen,
- 55:14Speaker 1: that's a kid. Well in Alabama, I think you have
- 55:17Speaker 1: to be six. I don't give a damn where you at.
- 55:20Speaker 1: That's a child. Absolutely now because you got some little
- 55:24Speaker 1: hill bill ares ruled downhill. That don't make it right,
- 55:27Speaker 1: don't It's still a child. Thirty two the heir he
- 55:31Speaker 1: talked to sixteen seventeen year old kid. Yeah, your old
- 55:35Speaker 1: ass at the mall. That's why he got banned from
- 55:38Speaker 1: the mall. The White House has made an official Steve
- 55:42Speaker 1: President Trump is endorsing Roy More. The President had a
- 55:46Speaker 1: positive call with Judge Roy Moore of the White House
- 55:49Speaker 1: said in a statement, they discussed the state of Alabama
- 55:52Speaker 1: Senate race. Uh, the Senate race, and the President endorsed
- 55:55Speaker 1: George Moore's campaign. It's very close, very very close. These
- 56:02Speaker 1: are the types of things that President Obama had begged
- 56:05Speaker 1: us to do to vote in off election years that
- 56:09Speaker 1: did not concern the presidency. He bagged this because he
- 56:14Speaker 1: knew the importance of controlling seats in the House and
- 56:18Speaker 1: the Senate. You have an opportunity in the state of
- 56:21Speaker 1: Alabama to say, wait a minute, man, hold up, now, listen,
- 56:26Speaker 1: you made one mistake. You let a man get in
- 56:29Speaker 1: the White House who distinctly said he would grant women
- 56:33Speaker 1: by the peak. Okay, now that didn't bother you, But
- 56:36Speaker 1: how do you overlook the accusations of a man molesting children.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I'm seriously, man, trying to understand where are we now?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Are we so concerned with the political process that we
- 56:51Speaker 1: don't even care about our children anymore? Are you kidding me? Man?
- 56:56Speaker 1: Are you really kidding me? You know, damn this all
- 57:00Speaker 1: in Alabama? Do you all understand that ain't right? Okay?
- 57:03Speaker 1: Your father and your mother, your baby sixteen here comes
- 57:06Speaker 1: to thirty two year old dinner dude over for dinner?
- 57:09Speaker 1: What yeah? What yeh? Hey, man, let me tell you something.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you can't happen. Lloyd was fifteen.
- 57:19Speaker 1: She got a little gown on. It was a little
- 57:21Speaker 1: formally even. I got a tuxedough. I said, I'm going
- 57:24Speaker 1: to the bathroom. I'll go with you, and waiting the hallway, Dad, okay, cool,
- 57:27Speaker 1: I come out. It's three dudes standing round wanting to
- 57:31Speaker 1: take pictures with it because she's so fine. I told her, man,
- 57:34Speaker 1: she ain't taking no picture. Uh, sir, it's just a picture.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I tell you, she ain't taking no picture with y'all.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Old ass. All these grown ass women in here, go
- 57:45Speaker 1: in there and take some pictures. Some fine chicks in there,
- 57:47Speaker 1: go take some pictures with them. What you're talking to
- 57:50Speaker 1: the fifteen year old for? So now, I'm asking the
- 57:53Speaker 1: voters of Alabama, doesn't matter so much that seat in
- 57:59Speaker 1: the Senate? That is okay? That you're going to overlook this.
- 58:03Speaker 1: It's too many of them. This man's name was on
- 58:08Speaker 1: a no fly list at a mall. Yeah, I ain't
- 58:12Speaker 1: ever been on no fly list at them all. Tell
- 58:16Speaker 1: us I can't go tell us if you Steve Steve
- 58:22Speaker 1: around the food court. That's crazy. That's crazy. I ain't
- 58:27Speaker 1: never been banned from a strip club. Let's just get
- 58:30Speaker 1: really real with it. Steven, Steven is outside of journeys
- 58:32Speaker 1: right now. Stevens outside of journey. And they have those women,
- 58:38Speaker 1: those women that came forward, and they don't believe you're lying. No, boy,
- 58:46Speaker 1: well they don't. They don't believe that women women at all.
- 58:48Speaker 1: They think the one lady made up the yearbook all
- 58:52Speaker 1: of that. Yeah, listen to me, bad please get out
- 58:54Speaker 1: and vote to listen to me. Yeah, all right, but
- 59:00Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it all you here. It
- 59:02Speaker 1: is subject confused with my buddy in quotation marks do
- 59:08Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I'm a divorced mother of twins that runs
- 59:12Speaker 1: a successful business. Due to the fact that my company
- 59:15Speaker 1: requires a lot of my time, I spend all of
- 59:17Speaker 1: my free time with my twin boys. Both of my
- 59:20Speaker 1: sons participate in team sports, and I am at all
- 59:23Speaker 1: games and practices, as well as very active in their
- 59:27Speaker 1: school and educational process. This leaves no time for a
- 59:31Speaker 1: real relationship right now. All show. With all the changes
- 59:34Speaker 1: that my children have had to endure, I feel that
- 59:37Speaker 1: it's best that I shower them with all my time
- 59:39Speaker 1: and full attention. I'm at this very nice gentleman through
- 59:42Speaker 1: a good friend, and after several conversations, we agreed to
- 59:45Speaker 1: be buddies again. In quotation marks Uh. He also he
- 59:50Speaker 1: also had gone through a divorce, had a business, and
- 59:53Speaker 1: similar time constraint. Says he has custody of his children
- 59:57Speaker 1: four days a week. We would hook up at lunch
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: every three to four days. This was working great for
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: eight months until he started complaining that he felt like
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: a booty call and that he wished my phone calls
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and conversations were not always I pray alude to sex,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: and hearing it like that, I felt a little bad.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: So I started calling every so often just to say hi,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: thinking that this would solve the problem. The opposite occurred.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: He became distant, so I went back to the original plan.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Now he is all over me again, and I started
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: complaining again. My feeling is that this buddy situation has
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: rent it's course, and uh, I should just let this
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: one go. Steve, You're always right on point when it
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: comes to men. In part of me no offense, surely,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: so please advise loyal listener confused in Connecticut. Dear loyal
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Dear loyal listener, Dear loyal listener, You're right on point
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: with this one. Steve is great insight in this man
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: type situations, man type situations like this. So no offense
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: taken because I really don't at this. When your life
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: was fine, You're dealing with your twins, very very busy.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Then you met the nice gentleman and agreed to be
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: buddies with him? Well, what did that mean? Were you
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: guys um clear on this that it would pretty much
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: be what it ended up being, a booty call? There
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: was no um love, no no closeness, no intimacy, no
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: future discuss. Buddies means friends with benefits. To me, this
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: guy had what so many guys dream of, you know,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to sleep get to sleep with you with no commitment,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: no strings attached, and he was complaining about that. Still
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: don't get it, And why were you the one doing
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: all the calling and stuff. You don't sound confused to me.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: You had already said you didn't have time for real relationship.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Right now, he does sound confused because he doesn't know
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: what he wants. Mr. Nice Gentleman needs to make up
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: his mind if he wants to be more than buddies
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: with you, then he should make it plain, let us
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: just to know, and maybe you guys can work something out. Steve.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Oh yeah, cold cracker, seize the code and about to
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: crack it. Right, we come back, Shelly. You exactly on
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: point with what you said, Dolly, But there are some
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: things that ladies just don't know about men. And I'm
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: fin to put your own point right after this. I
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: see clearly already and done it. We only do three
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: things this just one of them was explained to you
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: what he's doing and how you can hele it. Alright,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Steve is gonna have part two of his response to
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter at twenty three after the hour. You're
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Steve with your response to part two of today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Confused with my buddy. Dear Stephen Sherley. I'm a divorce
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: mother of twins that runs a successful business. Due to
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: the fact that my company requires a lot of my time,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I spent all of my free time with my twin boys.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Both of my sons participate in team sports, and I'm
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: at all games and practice as well as very active
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: in their school educational process. This leaves no time for
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: a real relationship right now. Also, with all the changes
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: that my children have had to endure, I feel that
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: it's best that I showered them with all my time
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: and full attention. I met this very nice gentleman through
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: a good friend, and after several conversations, we agree to
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: be buddies. He also had gone through a divorce, has
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: a business and similar time constraints, and as becausein off
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: his children four days a week, we would hook up
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: at lunch every three to four days. This was working
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: great for eight months until he started complaining that he
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: felt like a booty call and that he wished my
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: phone calls and conversations were not always a prelude to sex.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: In hearing it like that, I felt a little bad,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: so I started calling every so often just to say hi,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: thinking that this would solve the problem. Well, the opposite occurred.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: He became distant, so I went back to the original plan.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Now he's all over me again and has started complaining again.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: My feeling is that this buddy situation has run his
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: course and I should just let this one go. Steve,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: you always right on point when it comes to me
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: and no offenseially, So please advise, loyal listener. Confused in Connecticut, Well,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: confused in Connecticut. Let's shut up all this confusion, cold cracker,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: see through this clearly. See, lady, you gotta company. You're busy.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: You ain't got time. He got a business, he divorced
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you divorce. You got twin boys, he got kids, he
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: got four days a week. Everybody busy. Hill. So you
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: met this man through a friend, and you all agreed
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: to become buddy. Na. Here's where the confusion comes in that. See,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: nobody clearly defined buddies for you, ma'am. But let me
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: tell you about men. When we are your buddy. Buddy
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: stands for initials. If you spell buddies out, each one
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: of those initials stands for something. Buddy's mean. We will
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: share some booty with the understanding that it doesn't directly,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: interfel or evolved into anything beyond sex. B is for booty,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: you is for understanding, DearS for doesn't des for directly,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I is for interfeel, E is for evolved, and S
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: is for anything beyond sex. Your buddy, we want to
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: have some booty with the understanding that it doesn't directly
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: into feel or evolved beyond sex. Buddies is initials for
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: something we want. Here is where the problem come in.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: When you buddies the dude and messed around, Now you
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: calling him, he getting messed up because he don't want
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: all these conversations to be a prelude to sex. Well,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: wasn't that the agreement? See that's what we do to y'all.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: But what didn't happened is it's been reversed. Now a
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: man feel like he getting played just for sex. Now
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: he didn't came and told you what We created me
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: and created this. Now it's called a booty calm. But
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: what didn't happened is it's been reversed. See a booty
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: call is cool when you to call up, come on,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: but when you're the booty, it hurt. Oh, come on now,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: cold crack on top of this cracking. See when you
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: the caller on a booty call is cool, but when
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: you're the booty, it hurt. Now, old punk hurt. I
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: thought he could come up and be buddies. And now
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: the sexton got so good. Now he won't more, he
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: won't give it him more. Now he complained that he's
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: just a booty call. He won't more, but he don't
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: know how. So now you didn't reverse the sudn't flip
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: the script. You just said. I tell you what, since
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: that's hurting you, I just call you every now and then.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Now he just so you go back to the original plan.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: He all over you again. But then he complained it
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: now because see the roles have been reversed. All right,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. You know we got to get out
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: of here. You can email us or instagram us your
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: thoughts on today's letter at my Girls Shirley tomorrow, don't
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: forget the strawberry letter after show live on Facebook one
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: pm Eastern time. Please join me there. Yeah, thanks girl.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: And now switching gears. Representative John Knyers Jr. We've been
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: waiting to hear from him. He's facing allegations at he
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: sexually harassed former employees. He announced yesterday that he will
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: not seek re election. Okay, he's not going down that
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: road again. Mr Knyors was the longest serving member of
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: the House of Representatives. I think it was eighty eight
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: years old, or he is eighty eight years old. I
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: should say he's eight. Yeah, you know what, man, he's
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: done some great things. Yes, he's done some really really
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: great things for the movement and for this country. Yes, yes,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you are absolutely correct. And I'm saying so ladies, just
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: please understand. I'm just saying outside of this, yeah, because
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: this is bad. He's just done some great things for
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: this country. Yeah, alright. Ian Kanyer's uh, he's twenty nine now.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: He is the grandson of Congressman Kanyer's brother, he said.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Young Ian said that he now plans to run for
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the seat held by his granduncle. Uh. And this is
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: representing the Detroit area. Okay, so Ian says he's not resigning,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: He's going to retire. Uh. Young Ian went on to
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: say his doctor advised him that the rigor of another
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: campaign would be too much for him, just in terms
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: of his health. Well, you know, he's he's had a
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: full run with this center stuff. You know at eight
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I will not be no whoy on TV. I pray
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: to God. Now I want to running something all right?
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Coming up at forty one after the hour. Will help
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: parents tame their holiday spending. Sometimes they can get out
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: of hand. You're listening to the Steven Show. Steve, you know,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: parents want the holidays to be magical for their kids,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: and sometimes that can really lead to overdoing it with
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: the gifts. You know, sometimes we overspend because we love
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: our kids so much and we want them to have everything.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, my parents did it. Yeah, we've we've been
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: you know, uh involved in that in every kind of way.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: So Carlo said, some moms and dads have found that
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: using the rule of four helps to do that. Now, now,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: what is that. It's like you give your your child
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: four gifts only for gifts like something they want, you know,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: something that they can wear, something they could read. And
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: then it's like one more toy, like an education where yeah,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and then desires, Yeah, like a desire. If I'm a boy,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: I don't want nothing to read, don't buy me no
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: day going to say that, don't want I don't want
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that A book? A book, It don't do no, it
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: don't shoot. I can't chase it. It don't chase me.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I can't rolling down the street, I can't ride it.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: So you can make that's two toys now, okay, so
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: you want to you want to replace book with another toy. Now,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: well I'm a little shake on that because I ain't
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: gotten open up some boxing, some stuff good lord. They
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: want to win, like some clothes. Yeah, yeah, like a
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: damn turtleneck. I've always hated turtle neck. Really, yeah, don't
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: like that, boy came. Don't like them. Listen to the
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: turtle talk right now. I I'm just talking about on me. Okay.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I love him on women. Yeah yeah, I love turtle
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: necks on women. I just not I can't stand turtle
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: neck on me and time it can't understanding over there
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: as a turn. Really, I said me, I can't stand
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: turtle neck. Really, he take it personally. Oh so you
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: don't care for me, So now don't give me nothing
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: to wear? Wait? No, okay, so let's go with the
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: rule again. Something they want something, they need, something to wear,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: something to read. Now you said something they want something
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: to wear, something to read, and toy and something or something.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Yeah that's what you said. Won't wear read in one toy.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: So now listen, I don't want nothing to read, So
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: make that two toys. Don't buy me nothing to wear,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: just scratch that off. Now up to three toys, and
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: then what I won't is another damn toy. So I
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: got foe toys. That's Merry Christmas to me. So that's
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the four rules. That's the four rules and out and
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: flipped it into foe to if I can get a wagon? Now,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: this one I needed as a boy. I want to
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: football uniform, a bike, yeah, a wagon, and a basketball. Oh,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: you gotta get that cap gun. You got to get
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: that caput cap gun tan't can't take it just maybe
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: out of caps I can play hot scots with it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I could play folk corners with a bad I'm doing
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: a lot with a basketball played by myself. To get
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: this jumper, right, m Did you ever get these four guests? Yeah?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I ain't. Never got him at one time? One time.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Bike when you think we ripped your daddy? Who you
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: think we riped? You don't see these other people in
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: there bike? And they gotta get something too? What did
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: you get? Tell me? What are your what are your four?
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I got to have a cap gun turtle? I'm sorry? Right,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: and she'd go too far that I didn't want that
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: too well, but I definitely want it now. Looks like
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: it might be on your knee. You know what to wear?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I wanted the ability to kid outfit, you know, jacking
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: and some jeans and ability to kids. Yeah that was
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: tight right there? Made out of tell skin. You know
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: that right there, that's what you were. I wanted a
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: big wheel though. That was the ball. Yeah, big wheel
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you climb up on right there, right there. You're gonna
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: get me, man Jr. What you want? That's only three things.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: That's a capital billy the kid outfit in a big wheel.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: What's the fourth? I get one moment? Yeah, something to read?
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I read, I read the instruction you know what in
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: a tari Yeah all right. It was just a little
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: ball going back and that was all day. That's so
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: you can sit there all day and play it. I
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: got scope. What if I got a bite? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: that eighteen remote control van the A team oh teen
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: r T with met the team. If I got that,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: then I had a Sega Genesis. Yeah yeah he had
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson had a game on that. Boy,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Michael Jackson had a game on that. You can dance
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: like you just throw me and there's something they got
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: that on the widow to Michael Jackson dancing Yeah man, yeah,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: my Christmas. See the bike's transportation. You need that. Yes,

- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I hustle pop the football uniform was just I got

- 1:16:35Speaker 1: that's really yeah, basketball was just because I thought I
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: might can get to the league and get Yeah, you
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: have to have something in the hood that you possibly

- 1:17:33Speaker 1: and that's your intro. That's where we're gonna go with
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: this segment where you find out how stupid Timmy? You know,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: intro to that We're no, no, that's where he said,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: That's what I'm just gonna We're just determined who's right
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: or wrong? Tell me if I'm if I'm wrong, Okay,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: hear me. If I'm right, and day uncle Je is
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: a judge. Well, how come if I say uh? He
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: say huh, because he just just shut up in this family,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: all right? Tell him, don't you just get he lived?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Type about that race. No, here, we're talking about saving
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: money and investing money and all of that, right, So
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I told him, I'm not being investing my money because
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: you got to go to a broker. Now, why would
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: I go to somebody who broke? You know? Did I
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: make any sense to you? Why would you go to
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: somebody to broke and get him your money? Tommy? Why
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: would I go to somebody broker than me? Exactly? That
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: actually makes sense. I like that broker. Tell Junior humming
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: birds hump because they don't know the words to the
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: song like we do. Boy, I tried to tell the
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: last name. I got some humming birds outside my one.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: He said, yeah, they'd be hum I say they hummed, Junior,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: because they don't know the song. If they knew the song,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: they would saying the song. They humming because they don't
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: know the words. They don't know how to do that. So, okay,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: that's Junior. I'm keeping score timing. When he got mad, now,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I told him it's impossible to throw a garbage can away.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Yeah, they can't throw a
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: garbage can away. Where are you gonna where? That is good?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: That is very good. You have to think, oh him, No,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: you can't throw a garbage can, yester here, you can't
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: put it in a bigger garbage Okay, tell tell him this?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: What tell him? If you talking to guard and he sneezes,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: you're not supposed to say anything. You're not supposed to
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: say God bless you. It's him sneezing. Do you get it? Anything?
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Somebody gonna go with you? Don't say God bless you
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: to God? Oh? Oh so y'all saying he don't get
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: a cold? Have you heard of God? Anybody told you?
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Have you read it anything? Have you read anything wrong
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: with him? No? He's perfect, Tom, I know you ever
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: heard about God not showing up this? God? Allergy away
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: for two asked God to he brought God about this race.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I know God already know how that's going into abody.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Here we go. He kind of thought about this one.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: But you know this is where the hang up came. Man. Okay, okay,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: I see it. If if you ain't your partner, mhm,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: your wife, your girl, whatever, being us position and they're

- 1:26:48Speaker 1: the different treasures that he would have in his little

- 1:28:30Speaker 1: it from. Thank you, Jason. We appreciated Merry Christmas to you.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, Crash Pads, Santa's Crash. We'll be
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: Morning Show. Well, the NFL's attempt to quote unquote bribe
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: players to stop kneeling and protesting has failed. Uh. In
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: case you missed this, it was reported last week that
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: the league league offered to contribute eighty nine million dollars
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: over seven airs to two organizations that would find fund
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: causes I should say within the African American community. The
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: player coalition could choose which organization benefited from the donations.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: The league hope their gesture would stop the players from protesting,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: and what they're protesting for again is inequality. Okay, nothing
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: else but that during the anthem. But the deal apparently
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: didn't work, since Russell o'kang, Marshawn Lynch, and several other
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: players silently demonstrated during last week's and this week's games
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: are Reportedly some players felt the NFL would just allocate
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: the money in ways that would ultimately benefit the league,
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: like funding public service announcements that basically advertised the organization.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: Other players felt like the payoff was a bribe and
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: was not worth selling out. That's what they said it
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: would be if they stopped me. Yea, yes, especially Steve Russell.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: What's this last nation okong from the Chargers. He was
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: also mentioning Colin Kaepernick. You know, he was still he's
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: still blackball from the NFL and not listen and you
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: know he is, yeah, yeah, but ineffective quarterbacks. Why this
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: man is not even given a chance. It is because
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: they have gotten together and decided to take him out
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: the league and make an example out of this young
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: man for standing up for his human basic rights to
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: protest in the United States. This hypocritical mess that they
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: pull in and they always want to stand there like
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: the NFL, NFL, ain't that righteous? Yeah, and then to
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: flip it, you know why they're kneeling, to say that
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: they're disrespecting our troops and disrespect has nothing to do
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: with nothing, nothing. It was an attempt at hush money,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: like here's the money, not stand up. Yeah. Well, I'm
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: extremely proud of the men of the NFL for standing
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: for something I'm extremely proud of. And you know what, though,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: I want Colin Kaepernick to get a I really do,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: But I mean I think this is bigger than he is,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: and I think he's going to be all right. He's
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: going to be all right eventually. It's hard now, it's yeah,
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: because he's thirty, you know right now. I mean he
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: took his team to the super Bowl. Come on, he's
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: a great player, and he's sacrificed this dream. Absolutely, These
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: boys that get drafted and get in the NFL, these
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: are dream jobs for him. You can't tell the dude, right,
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: you can't tell his dude he can't play football no
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: more because he don't want no more discrimination. Yeah, but
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: the president is a huge part of this. Yes, he is, Steve. Yes,
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: he if he would quit whereing about stuff and and
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: running this country the way it's supposed to get red,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: if he didn't put such a focus on it. And
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: they called these men sums of bitches. That's crazy, man,
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: that crazy. Yeah, when he insulted them, the protesting got Yeah,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: when you insulted them like that, I wasn't surprised at
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: that though. I was a little bit surprised. But then,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: you know, you said, you grab a woman by the
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: pete and you steal the president. You may then you
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: turned around and say that's not me on the tape,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: and then Billy Bush tweeted over the weekend and said,
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: Mr President, it's you. It was you. It was me,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: and it was you. Okay, I'm out of work and
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: nothing coming up. The last break of the day, and
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: just one more thing. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: Here we are at the last break of the day.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: Good show, today, crazy show is always Yeah, yeah we did,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: we got it all in. But just one more thing. Now,
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: the race is today. You're ready, Jr. I'm absolutely ready,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: So Steve, for everybody that that doesn't know, they haven't
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: heard the breaks earlier, tell everybody what is going on.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: As soon as we're signed often today I will be
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: filming on the back lot of NBC Universal as soon
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: as we're done with the radio show via your iPhone
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: don't forget that iPhone, and you will see this on
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: Steve Harvey dot com. Okay, uh, after I edited and commentated,
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: you gotta commentated to him. Yeah, hey, Steve, they're going
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: to be running a fifty yard dash and the bet
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: is five thousand cash. But Steve, you should you know
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: how how you know when they produce stuff, they have
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: all the hype before it and everything. You should put
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: the race that Tommy had with Dian Sanders on there,
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: and then because it was a clear white but just complete,
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: you can put anybody near to prime. They're gonna get
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: the same results that don't worry about that. And I
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: told I don't even know why I said that were
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: a stupid behind. I was just saying you should put
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: that on there and say if he wins, then you know, now,
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: listen to me. Here's the part that you don't remember. Okay,
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: if Junior loses, he has to give five thousand dollars
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: to the miles of giving foundations. Like Tommy loses, he
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: has to give five thousand two kis hope kiers Hope,
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: which is for sickle sale, sickle cell awareness. I like it. Yeah,
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: all I need to know. I'm betting Shirley five dollars
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: and qualified dollars. They're betting on Tommy Cat betting on
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: Tommy five dollars. I'm betting five. This is this is
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: actually up there. When Maurice Green and Michael Johnson race,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: This is right up there. We'll tell you how far
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: that is. That's right, so far from that when Maurice
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: Green and who raised remember shoes. Excuse me, excuse me,
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: excuse me, that was Donovan Bailey and Michael Johnson. No, no,
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: that was more Green though. That was Donovan Bailey raised
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: Michael Johnson. Oh you got no you remember this, Junior,
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: it was Maurice Green. They raised. It was just them
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: too in the rage. I remember, Um, I thought it
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: was Donovan Bailey and because you got the sprinter that
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: was racing this quarter horse. Who is a sprinter? Okay,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: all right, but no, I'm just that's who I thought.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: It wasn't look to be clear about everything. We ain't
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: up there anyway. Is more like just get two people
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: from the here. This is more like when Calvin challenged James. Okay,
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: so saying it is Maurice Green and Michael Johnson. Who's Maurice?
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: And who's Michael? Between you and Junior? No, you the Maurice,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: you're the sprinter. Tommy is to run. Okay, Well he
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: Michael Johnson, and I don't know why you use that
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: example called Michael Johnson pool of lame and lost. Oh
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: that's what he faked the hamstress. Yeah yeah, well Tommy,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: don't do that. That wasn't a good example, Tommy. If
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: you're just team well, you take time on radio and
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: excuse me, fastest man. A race not sanctioned by that
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: I A f F was held at the sky Dome
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: between nineteen Olympic one hundred meter champion Donovan Bailey from
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: Canada in n Olympic two hundred and four hundred meter
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: champion Michael Johnson from United States. Thank you very much,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: But then there's been two different races, sir, No, Tommy,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: there was no dog. It was no. I'm just trying
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: to tell your partners said, why are you saying it
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: wasn't a race between Marie's Green and Michael Johnson? It
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: was it was I'll tell you what, tim forget that
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: the one that was on TV, The one that was
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: on TV. One he pulled up with was on TV.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: That's how we saw it. Dog that was against Michael Johnson, Yes,
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: and Maurice's Grade. No, Tommy, it was Donovan Bailey. I'm
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: looking at the video. You think they only got that video?
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: What about the race today? Your ass gonna pull up
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: just like Michael Johnson. Okay, then we're gonna see. We're
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: about to go over there. Now, do you have any
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: let me ask you this time, is there any other
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: bet you want to make? Is it anything, you're good
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: with that? Any what what did Pat Bolton say? If
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: you can, Hummy, you can hear it? What you heard him?
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: I'm saying on sitting right here, he gave you got
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: the bet you didn't do it with him. We're looking
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: at the race between Michael uh Green and Michael Johnson
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: right now now we have five. I'm scared. I'm scared.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: I'm ana lose, so I don't want to go five. Okay,
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: wh what what? What? Wait a minute, y'all, that's the

- 1:38:05Speaker 1: ran the two hundred meters sold Michael Johnson. I'm talking
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: about the race just like y'all. Don't neither one of
