- 2:25Speaker 1: I want you to catch on fire today, but I
- 2:28Speaker 1: need you to catch fire today. I need today to
- 2:32Speaker 1: be today that you stop complaining and you do something.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Do you know why a lot of people can't move
- 2:39Speaker 1: forward in their life because they're complaining about their past?
- 2:42Speaker 1: They always complaining, man about something? Is that explains the
- 2:47Speaker 1: reason why they are. Let me help you with this
- 2:50Speaker 1: right here. If you are steady complaining about the reason
- 2:54Speaker 1: you are. You know, if I hadn't met this man,
- 2:57Speaker 1: if I hadn't been involved with this woman, if I
- 2:59Speaker 1: hadn't had this baby, if I had to never went
- 3:02Speaker 1: down there, if I hadn't got arrested, if I hadn't this,
- 3:05Speaker 1: if I hadn't a if I had to just finished school,
- 3:08Speaker 1: if I hadn't he hey, hey, hey, stop stop all
- 3:13Speaker 1: that stuff that you're complaining about, everything that you keep
- 3:18Speaker 1: allowing to resonate with you as a reason to justify
- 3:22Speaker 1: and explain you're not being successful. Can I share something
- 3:26Speaker 1: with you about all of that? Guess what it is.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You didn't got past all of it. You didn't have
- 3:33Speaker 1: the baby, you got arrested, they didn't kill you, you
- 3:36Speaker 1: didn't finish school, But you're still standing. You met that man,
- 3:40Speaker 1: he gone, He involved with two other women. Right now,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I got three other kids. Guess what. You still here
- 3:46Speaker 1: and the baby's here. You got over all the injustices
- 3:50Speaker 1: that were done to you. You got something happened to
- 3:52Speaker 1: you when you as a kid. You're an adult now.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Somebody did something to you when you was a little boy.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Guess what you were a man now, some thing's happened
- 4:01Speaker 1: to you that you haven't found closure on. The person
- 4:05Speaker 1: that you're looking for closure from has moved on. Can
- 4:09Speaker 1: I tell you that everything that has happened to you
- 4:12Speaker 1: do you know you've gotten past it? So why are
- 4:16Speaker 1: you steady complaining about what has happened to you that
- 4:20Speaker 1: has caused you to be in this position? But do
- 4:23Speaker 1: you understand that it's prohibiting you from moving forward? Stop
- 4:26Speaker 1: complaining today, catch fire. Let your pass be your past.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I've told us to you a hundred times on this radio,
- 4:33Speaker 1: but I'm gonna say it again. Bishop Jake's told me
- 4:36Speaker 1: something man that helped me so greatly. You can't drive
- 4:40Speaker 1: your car if you're gonna keep looking in the rear
- 4:43Speaker 1: view mirror. That's why the windshield is huge. The windshield
- 4:49Speaker 1: is huge. The rear view mirror is this tiny thing
- 4:53Speaker 1: that sits up there. Now, all is far. It's so
- 4:56Speaker 1: you can see stuff that's coming up on you. All
- 5:00Speaker 1: the review mirror for is so you can assure yourself. Oh,
- 5:04Speaker 1: listen to this. The review mirror is impt there to
- 5:07Speaker 1: assure you that you've cleared something. See. That's what the
- 5:12Speaker 1: review mirrors for. So when you pass it on, you
- 5:14Speaker 1: want to switch lanes. You can glance up there and
- 5:17Speaker 1: it says, okay, you're clear. Now you passed it. You
- 5:20Speaker 1: can switch lanes. That's all the review mirrors for. It
- 5:23Speaker 1: ain't for you to stare at and dictate your life
- 5:26Speaker 1: with what you're tripping for. Man, catch fire today today,
- 5:31Speaker 1: Man quick complaining about everything that did happened to you?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Life is ten percent what happens to you is what
- 5:38Speaker 1: you do about what happens to you? What are you
- 5:41Speaker 1: going to do about it? So what I got all this? Look, man,
- 5:46Speaker 1: your story ain't no deeper than nobody else's. I can
- 5:49Speaker 1: tell you I was homeless for three years. It's people
- 5:51Speaker 1: been homeless for thirty years. How long I'm gonna ride
- 5:56Speaker 1: that out? Man? You know I can't do nothing right now.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I fell on hard times and I lost my place
- 6:02Speaker 1: to stay. Why are you staying now? See the majority
- 6:08Speaker 1: of people are staying somewhere right now. I was out there.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I didn't have nowhere to go. I'm in a shelter. Now.
- 6:14Speaker 1: You was under the bridge a week ago. You're in
- 6:17Speaker 1: the shelter. Now. Why are you still crying about the bridge?
- 6:21Speaker 1: You're in the shelter now, man, people, Man, we trip
- 6:26Speaker 1: ourselves out by complaining. I'm asking everybody today to catch
- 6:30Speaker 1: fire today, stop complaining, do something today. Get excited. Now,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna say something that I'm going to have to explain.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Get excited about your life. You know, the best way
- 6:42Speaker 1: to get excited about your life is to find your
- 6:45Speaker 1: purpose in your life. Oh, st you gotta explain that went,
- 6:47Speaker 1: don't you? Yep? I knew. I knew before I said it.
- 6:49Speaker 1: As soon as I said it, I said them to
- 6:51Speaker 1: explain this right here, because and people always be telling
- 6:54Speaker 1: about you say something you don't mean. See what I
- 6:56Speaker 1: do is when I say something, I give you an
- 6:58Speaker 1: explanation for so you can stop up all it. I
- 7:00Speaker 1: ain't no, I ain't no. Listen to me. You got
- 7:03Speaker 1: to get excited about your life. And the best way
- 7:06Speaker 1: to get excited about your life is to find your purpose. Now, okay, Steve,
- 7:10Speaker 1: That's what I've been struggling with. I can't find my purpose.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Yes you can, Yes you can. You know how you
- 7:17Speaker 1: find your purpose You get in touch with who created you,
- 7:23Speaker 1: because when God made you, he had a purpose in mind.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Now we've ignored it and we haven't tapped into it,
- 7:31Speaker 1: but we all had a purpose you don't, and it's
- 7:33Speaker 1: sometimes it take people longer to discover the purpose. Colonel
- 7:37Speaker 1: Sanders was frying chicken with a recipe that he was
- 7:41Speaker 1: telling people was the best chicken in the world. Ain't
- 7:44Speaker 1: nobody believe him until he turned seventy. Why you think
- 7:49Speaker 1: the dude that's on the Kentucky Fried Chicken signs is old.
- 7:54Speaker 1: That dude ain't twined up there he oh, he oh,
- 7:59Speaker 1: But you know what, he had been frying that chicken
- 8:03Speaker 1: for forty some years. They just found out about it
- 8:07Speaker 1: when he was seventy. But he didn't give up his
- 8:11Speaker 1: purpose in life. This dude was just frying chicken. See,
- 8:15Speaker 1: people keep looking for their gifts in all kinds of
- 8:17Speaker 1: places when it's right there in you. You ain't gotta
- 8:20Speaker 1: go to school to find your gift. You're born with
- 8:23Speaker 1: the gift to God, God for you. You'll go to
- 8:25Speaker 1: school to tack it on to something else. But your
- 8:28Speaker 1: gift was already given to you. You were born with that.
- 8:31Speaker 1: You don't have to go to college to know your guilt.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Your college allows you to enhance it and to find
- 8:36Speaker 1: something to attach it to, and hopefully you get a
- 8:39Speaker 1: degree that attaches your gift to to a vehicle where
- 8:43Speaker 1: it can work. The problem with college is we go
- 8:46Speaker 1: to college and we attached it to what we like
- 8:48Speaker 1: or what we might be passionate about, and we ignore
- 8:50Speaker 1: the gift we have. You know how many people and
- 8:52Speaker 1: graduating from college ain't doing nothing they went to college for.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Come on, man, you know why, because you're discovering life,
- 8:58Speaker 1: your guilt. You just cover what you was born to do.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I wasn't born, you know what I mean. You know
- 9:03Speaker 1: what my major was in college? It was advertising. I
- 9:07Speaker 1: can't be in no desk, drawing no picture for nobody.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But now guess what I can wake up every day
- 9:12Speaker 1: and guess what I can tell you. I advertised. I've
- 9:15Speaker 1: been advertising my career. Come see me live. Come see
- 9:19Speaker 1: me live at Madison Square, God, Come see me live
- 9:22Speaker 1: at Phillips Arena. Come see me live at Joker's Comedy Club.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Come see me live at Percy's. Come see me live
- 9:28Speaker 1: at Ellis's Tavern. Come see me live. Come. I've been
- 9:31Speaker 1: advertising the whole time, but I had a different purpose
- 9:35Speaker 1: in mind because I went and I talked to God.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And this is how you do it. You go talk
- 9:40Speaker 1: to God and say, hey God, look okay, this is
- 9:43Speaker 1: the deal. I've been struggling here. I'm over forty. I
- 9:47Speaker 1: still haven't found my purpose in life. Okay, but so
- 9:50Speaker 1: I can quit wasting any more time? Would you help
- 9:53Speaker 1: direct me and guide me to my purpose? I know
- 9:56Speaker 1: you created me to do something. I just haven't found
- 10:00Speaker 1: or what it is. And the reason I haven't found
- 10:02Speaker 1: what it is because I've been doing things my way.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I ain't been checking with you, confirmed with you on anything.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I ain't locked in and tried to settle it up
- 10:09Speaker 1: with you. I've been just doing my thing. Well, my
- 10:12Speaker 1: thing has gotten me as far as it can get me.
- 10:15Speaker 1: How about you take over and do your thing now?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Can you direct me in my path? I'm an open book.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Treat me like a piece of clay. I'm telling you, man,
- 10:25Speaker 1: if you go to God, he'll give it to you.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But see you have not because you asked not. How
- 10:32Speaker 1: many times have you asked God for it? This? This
- 10:36Speaker 1: ain't no magic trick, y'all. This is the deal. You
- 10:39Speaker 1: got to catch fire today. Catch fire today, I am.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I'm excited about today. I've got a lot to do.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I got to go out here and see what God
- 10:48Speaker 1: God for me today. I'm shaking the bushes man. If
- 10:51Speaker 1: God passing out blessings, I'm in line. I am in line.

- 15:54Speaker 1: I did not setter. He used it. He said it. Okay, Um,
- 16:00Speaker 1: this was part of a discussion on how to avert

- 16:08Speaker 1: how did he distance himself from online racist groups? Uh?
- 16:11Speaker 1: He complained that Colonel Sanders called blacks in words and
- 16:15Speaker 1: never faced any backlash. So that's your response, though, well,
- 16:19Speaker 1: colonel Sanders did it? Yeah, come on. Schnader Um has
- 16:25Speaker 1: acknowledged the comment. He didn't deny it. At least that's good.
- 16:29Speaker 1: He what do you say? Yeah, I said, what do
- 16:31Speaker 1: you see? Well, he said, regardless of the context, I apologize, okay,
- 16:35Speaker 1: he said. He said that racism has no place in

- 16:40Speaker 1: out of And it don't help that your pizza. Ain't
- 16:43Speaker 1: that did Wasn't he already in trouble for the NFL thing? Yeah? Yeah,

- 17:02Speaker 1: And then he got it. Yeah, support the players and yeah,
- 17:07Speaker 1: don't you want to slap with the pizza? Made me

- 17:28Speaker 1: I'm good. You know that has a lot, has got
- 17:38Speaker 1: a hot box? Now the cart alright. In other news,
- 17:45Speaker 1: Delf film stars Stormy Daniels is reportedly under arrest for
- 17:50Speaker 1: allowing a customer to touch her during a routine at
- 17:54Speaker 1: a Columbus, Ohio strip club. That's the word from her
- 17:57Speaker 1: attorney we all know Michael Abenadi, who reported the arrest
- 18:01Speaker 1: on Twitter late last night. He called it a desperate
- 18:04Speaker 1: and politically motivated move. Avanati offers quote. She was arrested
- 18:08Speaker 1: for alleged allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while
- 18:11Speaker 1: on the stage in a non sexual manner. Are you
- 18:15Speaker 1: kidding me? Well, well, if you touch the scrip, well
- 18:20Speaker 1: I got an issue with this. Can your strip club professional?
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm a script club professional. Jay stepped right up to him.
- 18:31Speaker 1: In some clubs you go in, you're not allowed to
- 18:35Speaker 1: touch the dancers. That because I'm just saying, I've heard
- 18:42Speaker 1: he research, you've done a lot of listen, a lot
- 18:48Speaker 1: of podcasts. You're not allowed to touch the dances, the
- 18:56Speaker 1: ones who are going to dental school, because they're all
- 18:58Speaker 1: going to dental That strip club, that one. But she
- 19:05Speaker 1: was performed or me. Daniels was performing at a club
- 19:08Speaker 1: called Sirens. Sirens and she was so they arrested her.
- 19:14Speaker 1: He did the touching, but they arrested her. I guess
- 19:16Speaker 1: because they say she allowed it. This ain't that but
- 19:19Speaker 1: Trump putting man, but they don't summit got it? And
- 19:26Speaker 1: he don't. One told us the grape, right, you tell
- 19:31Speaker 1: us stripper gate. This was in a non sexual manner

- 19:59Speaker 1: out of I ain't to you that I can still
- 20:02Speaker 1: beat chick. You going Magic City and the stripple will
- 20:05Speaker 1: sit and chicken with you. Yeah, what do you know
- 20:15Speaker 1: about that? Junior ain't dancing on. We're sitting that the
- 20:25Speaker 1: coming of age for every man. It is like it's
- 20:29Speaker 1: a hall mark. But you know how, I'm surprised how
- 20:31Speaker 1: smart it wasn't like damn, but you want that I'm
- 20:35Speaker 1: talking about. I thought we sat down and had us
- 20:37Speaker 1: a six piece of fried like. It wasn't that. But
- 20:39Speaker 1: it's the only place that you can sit down and

- 57:24Speaker 1: it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter. Subject my
- 57:28Speaker 1: fiance Mike need to go back to his ex. Uh.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I am an engaged thirty three year
- 57:37Speaker 1: old female. I don't have any children, but my fiance
- 57:41Speaker 1: has two children, aged seventeen and fourteen. Uh. When the
- 57:46Speaker 1: children are with us, I do anything I can to
- 57:49Speaker 1: make them happy. Sometimes they try to be nice to me,
- 57:52Speaker 1: but most of the time they are very disrespectful when
- 57:56Speaker 1: they don't get their way. They have gone so far
- 57:59Speaker 1: as to call me an airhead and stupid to my face.
- 58:03Speaker 1: I always managed to keep my composure. But what I
- 58:06Speaker 1: really want to tell them is that their mother is
- 58:08Speaker 1: an uneducated and unemployed stupid airhead. Um. My fiance's ex
- 58:14Speaker 1: wife calls me all kinds of names around the children,
- 58:17Speaker 1: so they think it's okay to treat me any kind
- 58:19Speaker 1: of way to make matters worse. I recently went to
- 58:23Speaker 1: the oldest child's high school graduation with my fiance. After
- 58:27Speaker 1: the graduation, we went to the graduation party and it
- 58:31Speaker 1: was at his ex mother in law's house. I was
- 58:33Speaker 1: not comfortable going over there because I knew there was
- 58:36Speaker 1: going to be some kind of drama. Just like I expected.
- 58:40Speaker 1: The ex wife and her mom were nasty acting, and
- 58:44Speaker 1: the children ignored me my face. My fiance acted like
- 58:48Speaker 1: it was no big deal. He had a good time
- 58:52Speaker 1: laughing and talking to his ex wife's ex wife's family
- 58:55Speaker 1: members while I sat there looking crazy. He acts like
- 58:59Speaker 1: he's blind to all the shade that his kids and
- 59:02Speaker 1: his ex wife throw at me. There is no way
- 59:05Speaker 1: that I will ever be able to accept this. So
- 59:07Speaker 1: do you think there is a way for us to
- 59:09Speaker 1: work this through? Or work through this? Or should I
- 59:13Speaker 1: run now before the wedding? Please help girl, girl, run, run,
- 59:19Speaker 1: run run. Okay, you need to dump this mama's boy
- 59:23Speaker 1: who doesn't have a backbone. Come on now. He can't
- 59:27Speaker 1: He can't have your back at all. He doesn't speak
- 59:30Speaker 1: up for you in front of his bad but disrespectful kids.
- 59:33Speaker 1: And if you're a man of your fiance, doesn't have
- 59:36Speaker 1: sense enough to to stop them. Uh, you know you
- 59:39Speaker 1: should let them have it yourself. That's what I say.
- 59:41Speaker 1: You don't have to keep your composure. What are you
- 59:43Speaker 1: keeping your composure for? They're not keeping theirs and you
- 59:46Speaker 1: can let them know you're not the one to be
- 59:48Speaker 1: played with. You can do that and guess what, the
- 59:51Speaker 1: ex wife and her family they can get some too.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I just would would never have gone over there to
- 59:57Speaker 1: their house in the first place, to your in laws.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I wouldn't have because you know you're walking into a
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: lions den. You knew it was gonna be drama before
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you went over there because they don't like you. I'm
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: sure you can do better. And one of the reasons
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: we get married in the first place, you know, just
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: we get married at all is for security and to
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: feel protected by our man. This man just sits there
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and does nothing, and just you know, he chimes in
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: with them, he joins in, Uh, what a loser. I
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I don't like him at all, and I don't like
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: him for you. But guess what, I don't think he's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: going to change after the marriage. That's what you need
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: to realize. You know, we as women always want to
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: change these Oh it'll be okay, you know once we
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: get married. Yeah, it'll get better. Well he's not okay.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: He's doing it now and how he is now is
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: how he will be in the marriage. Okay, So remember that,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: stay woke. Jay. I totally totally, totally, totally, totally totally
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: totally totally totally totally totally him a too more totally
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: totally totalt total, total totally disagree with Shirley. What she
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: needs to do. What she needs to do is go
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: ahead with this wedding Planet Planet, get the biggest cake,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: a nice spend as much. If he don't have enough,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: put some in yourself to make this wedding tremendous, huge.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Befriend the mother in law, make sure she's sitting there,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: make sure the kids are involved in the wedding. And
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: the day of the wedding, as you walk down the
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: aisle and you're standing up there in your beautiful dress
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and the minister says do you take this man to
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: be here? You go hell at the wedding, at the
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: and then walk out. I like that, Jack, definitely that
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: you've spent all that money. You but addressing this is
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: why I got your all, all the girls, why I
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: got it? You get one go to Helen and it
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: reaches everything about it. Well, I totally, totally, totally, totally, totally, totally,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: totally I disagree with you, Jay, Come on, I think
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: this woman really needs to meet my mama because my
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: mama gave me some advice that has been very important
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: in my life. If you're not gonna speak up for yourself,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: then why should I yea yeah, why should I say something?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Be what they say you is. They called you stupid.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing, but you want They called you
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: a head? You want me to say something you ain't
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: saying that day that was talking to you. You ain't
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: saying that you shouldn't speaking for you wrote this. All right,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: We'll have part two of the guy's responses to the
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter today coming up at twenty three after the hour.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the stew Steve Harvey
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: is on vacation. The crew is here. We are holding
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: it down as Jay Anthony. So, UM, gotta remind you
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: that coming up at the top of the hour is
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Carla's Reality Update. You do not want to miss that.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: But right now we're in the middle of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: That's right, Carla. Today's subject is my fiance might need
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: to go back to his exits from a thirty three
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: year old woman. She is engaged to a man. Uh.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: She doesn't have any kids, but her fiance has two children,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: ages seventeen and fourteen. Now, she says, she goes out
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: of her way. She tries to do anything she can
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: to make the kids happy. Sometimes they try to be
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: nice to her, but most of the time they are
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: very disrespectful. They call her stupid, they call her an
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: air head to her face. Um. She says, she, on
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the other hand, always manages to keep her composure, but
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: she really wants to tell them that their mother is
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: an uneducated and unemployed stupid air head. But of course
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you can't do that. Uh uh, she says. Her fiance's
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: ex wife calls her all kinds of names in front
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: of the children. She went to a graduation party for
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: one of the kids at his ex mother in law's house,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: and she says she was not comfortable going over there
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: because she knew it was gonna be some drama. They
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: got together, the ex wife and mom, and they were
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: nasty and the children ignored her. Her fiance acted like
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: it was okay and no big deal. He was acting
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: like he was still part of the family. She wants
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: to know, um uh, you know, do we think there's
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: a way for them to work through this or should
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: she run now? Before the wedding, she wants our help. Nephew,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: what you got all? Right? First of all, now this
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: ain't gonna work, okay, so let's get pass then, So
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: get your left fingers together that you're not going to
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: get married, right to get that, I just get past that.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: So Jay was right, we're not doing the wed But
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: this is what we're gonna do. We gotta plan, all right,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: So listen, listen, this is what I want you to go.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: You better turn your radio uploid. You hear me? If
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you listen, you better get your radio up. Listen, this
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: is what I want you to do. It's amazing how
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: some strawberry letters can help out another letter. Okay, we look,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Watch where I'm going now, because I'm going somewhere. Okay,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: we had a letter a couple of months ago where
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: this lady had a problem where she would go to
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the bathroom and this man's uh uh dresser drawers closet.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Y'all remember that? Remember that? Okay, watch where I'm going. Now,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: we're gonna leave these people with something before we leave them. Okay, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: we are all these people that have upset you and
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: ticked you out. Watch where we're going. Uh that's seventeen YEO,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: probably got the I pad. Drop that dude on now,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: on that iPad all over that our pad. Yes, yes,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: we're leaving with a bang. You understand me. The fourteen
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: year old who over there disrespecting you, calling you a head,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: find their backpack, drop drop that dude right up. Okay,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: zip it up tight. Okay, okay, now listen, that's what
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: I want you to do. Call the ex wife and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: tell her you want to talk to it, so y'all
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: get on the same page. You don't want to call
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: she ain't working no way. Okay, she at the house.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: When you go by the house, tell her you need
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: to run by the but you need to go to
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: the bathroom, go to her class, find her best shoes.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Put in the drop that duce on. Now, I ain't kidding,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: drop that dude, so hold on, stop stop stopping. We
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: ain't through. We're not through. Who else was when we
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: at the mother? Praise over that? Okay, let's slide on
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: by mother law. Tell her you want to talk about
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: your way. You want to You want to make sure
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: that y'all get they get on the same page. Guess
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: what you know what mother's that? Ain't you know what
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: they care about? Morning thing? They kill you. They get
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: in that oven. Drop that du on three, cut it
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: on three, second to five and let that cook right there. Okay,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: but not at lates. The person that has put us
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: in this situation is nothing but that that fiance. Am
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I right a wrong? That's the one that he didn't
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: say that. That's the one that's making, so that's not
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: making gets respected. Right, what I'm a kind of car
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: he got when he pull it and eat when he
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: pull in. He come in the house, Wait till you
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: get in the shower, go outside, drop that last ducee in,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: then pack your bags and get on out and tell
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: everybody to go to air. Right, that's how you do this.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Should she run now for the wedding? No, no, no, no,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: we're gonna We're gonna, We're gonna run. Need to be

- 1:08:12Speaker 1: this is the nat Yeah, I don't know what to
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: say that. This is so nast. And you know, I
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: know I'm a drama phone. You know my health crazy guy.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: But but but sometimes you gotta drop that duds on
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: if they stank, you got to be stank. You ain't
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: gonna be stink when I'm gonna be stink when I
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: leave this relationship. Every tell me in the letter she
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: said she always manages to keep her composure. You're gonna
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: have to lose it for a minute and drop that
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: duce on him. Drop that dud. That's how I heard it. All.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I need a shower and understand, I understand, But when
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you're turning that up and on three second five we
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: got it? Yeah, well to keep my breakfast down. Thank you. Sorry,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry her in airhead and stupid. That's why I'm saying,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: drop that dude. Normally I wouldn't go anything else. Yeah,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: normally I wouldn't go there. That that fits the situation.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Drop that dude's on them. Clap back, and that's that's
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: what I do. That's that's what I was saying. Just
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: because she they you know, she's keeping her composure. They're
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: not keeping theirs. Why do you have to keep yours?
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Come on now, say something back. When they go low,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: we go high. I know that we've learned it. Sometimes
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: you got to drop that dude on them. You got
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: real low, gotta get low talking about the Limbo low.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: We love the first lady, but sometimes you just got

- 1:13:08Speaker 1: They tried to act like because she had a baby,

- 1:14:17Speaker 1: that one of the people that was involved in it.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Uh that they that they had arrested is dead. But
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: the lady who started the story, and I'm gonna say
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: started the lie because in another thing she admits that
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: she wasn't truthful, which I believe that's called Lyons and
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: my right brothers oh years old living in North Carolina.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: So unless the Justice Department gonna go back and get
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: up and anybody that's still living that was involved in it,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I don't know how I feel about it because the
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: other things that's being done in the federal level, I
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: don't know how I feel about this. But don't try
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: to bring up m mat Tell to get us on
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: your side because it ain't working because we still won't
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: and President Trump is o the seas at the NATO sumthing.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: You know what we should do. You know what we
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: should do. We should hold elections. We should change the
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: House and the city and appoint the best Supreme Court
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: we can have change on everything. Change the immigration policy,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: but don't change it just yet because when his ass
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: tried to come back in the country, we make him
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: go through the same process. Other things going through. We
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: can't find your paperwork, we can't find no family members.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Now you ain't getting no vis up here. And guess
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. Brothers, listen, We're gonna put him
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: right up out of office. And when he caught the
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: White House, Max see Waters gonna be the pros Max
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: see Waters and had her Carolyn is and me, is
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: he over there Nato with no friends, no, not at
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: when the unattracted German president like she don't even try
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: to roll up. Man, ain't nobody trying to shake his head.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: He just walked around, you know, like whenever people just
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: walk off on you. You man, me Milania is over
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: there talking to the French president, trying to holler at
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: him because you know he liked old women, foreign women. Everything.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Trump is by himself in a corner and everything messing
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: up and over there. You lie. I ain't never seen president.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: You know, we know politics, but that don't lie straight
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: up like you're embarrassing the country. That's yeah, it's just unnecessary, flagrant,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: flagrant calling. We need a new president, and we need
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: a new vice president too. We need everybody, matter of fact.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I'll take this the time to do it while he
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: out the country, everybody out, everybody, everybody, and then let's
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: get clams off the Supreme Court to get him out.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: He doing nothing. He don't never say nothing. Man listening
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: the cut ain't on the job, that's what he's doing
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: the job. But I'm gonna tell you something, This would
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: be a cool move if we can vote everybody out.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: We don't like, put everybody in. We like and make
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Max see Water the president. That would be love it
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Maxie for president especially election. That's right, that's right. To
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: get your teachers right down that to swap meet. All right, Cheryl,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: thank you, We luck you. Up to the top of
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: the hour. It is Carla's Reality Update right after this

- 1:17:46Speaker 1: getting ready to get ready for carl Us Reality Update.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. All right, here we go. Well on power,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: let's just get to it this year show. How back
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: you caught up Junior? Everybody caught up on? Alright? Alright, well,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: you know last season, you know what happened baby girl Raina.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: You know, she was murdered. And so now the st
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Patrick family they are dealing with their grieving, their mourning,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: the loss of their daughter, baby girl Raina Tasha st Patrick.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: She is uh crying every day, she's mourning and you
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: know understand you understand why what you say. I was crying.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I'm at the funeral actually in tears. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: but I don't know her though, it really was, yeah,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: my living room, Yeah about baby girl. So anyway, you
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: know Tasha's did you know she's suffering. She is just
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: trying to deal with this. Now, Ghosts he's handling it
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: a little. He's suffering in silence. They're gonna win him out. Man,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you. You see it coming. He whipped out,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: you know. Well Ghost. Let me say this Ghost is
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: he's calling Angela. He's trying to get comfort from her.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: He's been trying to reach out to her, and now
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: he's drinking. You guys have been noticing, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: And now he's a vigilante and killing folks. You know,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: they were part of this grief group, uh with the
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: parents that have lost children, and they heard a couple
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: talk about they lost their uh son with this guy
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: who was a drunk driver. Long story short, Ghost got
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: revenge for this particular couple. So now I guess that's
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: how he's dealing with his grief. And let me say this,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Loren's Tate is acting his behind. Yes, he is as
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Consulman Tate. He is using the St. Patrick's though to
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: get what he wants. You know, he wants to be
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: the governor, So watch out for compliment Taate and Tasha
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: is not having it. She's sick at him. Uh, Tommy,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: he better get his act together. He has issues with
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: the Italians who you know, right, Yeah, but Tommy's making mistakes,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: he's dropping the ball a little bit. So he's gotta,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you know, get that together. And speaking of Tommy, and
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: what do you think about the situation with Dre and
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: And and Kanaan and Tommy and Goes. They're all joining forces.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: What I think? I think he's gotta die, but I
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: don't want him to because I love you. I think
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: nobody in that group can shoot. That's what I think,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: because yeah, yeah, the gods talking about I didn't know,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: but I do. Tommy, Tommy and Goes no military tactics,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: I got you. They don't say nothing bad about Ghost
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: just doing stuff. I don't think you shouldn't. Somebody got
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: to die. So you think it's gonna be Canean or
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Dre Dre and I don't want that role. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: I think d Into actually helping him solve some of
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: these problems. That's back with the girl. You're just too
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: much going on that, ain't nobody? Yeah all kind of ways. Yeah,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: it's it's a lot going on, so we gotta watch.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: You gotta keep your eye out on Cane and you know,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: you know he's up to something, So hit me up
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: on lips by Carla on Twitter or Instagram. Tell me
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: who do you think it's gonna kill? Draft kill? Yeah,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: let me know who he thinks. It's so bad they
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: hit me. That's moving on. Let's talk about this love
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: and hip hop Atlanta, the reunion show. Let me just
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: say this, from the wigs to the drama, I can't
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: because I just can't. I can't at all. Front Oh
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: my goodness. So Rashida Kirk Jasmine that whole thing, and
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: now Rashida is not really accepting Jasmine's apology. It was
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: just it's just the same recycle with them, Ericamena and
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Stevie J Boy. They are having a war of words.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: It's just out of control, their language going back and forth. Uh, Tommy,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. That's all I wanted to hear
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: about my girl, Tommy. What's happening? You know what? Surely
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: Tommy is in denial. I think she is in s drink.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: She is having some major issues with alcoholism. Um. She
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: got arrested recently in Atlanta. She refused orders from officers
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: and she hit a valet, a guy working ballet in
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: the head. So she got arrested again. So and you
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: remember she was suspended for her alcoholic related behavior if
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you will, and ballet takee. I don't know, and you
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: come and then you have got to come back to
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: and not tip. Yeah, yeah, something not cool. So I
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: don't know what's going on with Tommy. I think she's
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: a talented girl, but she needs to get some help.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: She needs to get some counse. Yeah, and her demons
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: and keeping up with the Kardashians. Surely you said it earlier,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: honey child. Higli Jenner twenty years old, worth nine hundred
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: million dollars. She is Forbes magazine. Uh, this issue is
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: American Women Billionaires. Forbes magazine says that she's on track
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: to be the youngest ever self made billionaire in history.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Kylie Jenner Kilie Cosmetics, her clothing line with her sister
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Kendall Jenner. And then, don't forget the keeping up with
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: the Kardashians. Checks are still rolling in. Like the guy
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: who always has something to say when you win a
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: lot of it here is right, Yeah, but taxes eat
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: most of that's what we know. Half of it is gone.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: It ain't that much, Sam, And you know by comparison,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Kylie's big sister, Kim Kardashian West is worth three hundred
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: and fifty million dollars. Some trash talking going on in
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: that house? How about that? Ain't no money. Kylie owns
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: a lot of real estate too. Yeah, yea. So hit

- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Jay Um. I gotta tell you this. President Trump will
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: be in London tonight. But before he gets there, it's anyone.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: It's anyone's guess what will come out of the President's mouth. Okay.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: He faces hostile receptions in London Okay, after bashing. The
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: biggest thing is that baby Trump float. They get floating.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: That's with that swoop of hair that call over and
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: baby baby Trump. Well, you know he bashed the London mayor,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: so you know they're gonna be a little hostile over
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: there in London. Also, the President kicked off his day
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: yesterday by tearing into Germany and NATO over their defense
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: spending as the NATO summit opened in Brussels. And that
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: was before breakfast. All this happened before they ate one egg. Okay. Yeah.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: In addition to repeating his frequent criticism of Germany for
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: not spending enough on defense, President Trump said Germany is
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: a captive of Russia. He based that on Berlin's deal
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: for a pipeline that will bring in natural gas from Russia.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: NATO leaders are reeling after Trump's attack. He demands that
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: NATO members double defense spending from two percent to four percent.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: So he's over there, just Hiller really go under his game,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: and she called him Putin's puppet man. He really got
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: upset what he called him. I'm no puppet puppet. I'm
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: not a proper Well, i'll tell you what he's going
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: over there to London. You know England they just lost
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: the World Cup finals. They're not having Yeah they did right, Yeah.

- 1:28:21Speaker 1: They don't like you. Is he meeting with the Queen? Him?
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Come to the Queen City with me and the Duchess
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: of Sussex Megan Marco doesn't want to see him. I'm
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: standing outside a Buckingham palace looking crazy. All right, coming

- 1:28:48Speaker 1: to know about your superstitions. Okay, we'll talk about that
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: at thirty three after the hour. Superstitions coming up. It
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: ain't the way step you wanted to told you that.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Now you're listening Steve Good Morning Show. Alright, as promised.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Now tomorrow is Friday the thirteen. So we talked about
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: this before we went to break. Uh, we're gonna find
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: out about your superstitions right now. You guys have any
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: tell me you have any superstitions. I mean, the first
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: one that comes to my mind, Shirley, is what's the
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: one that's big with me? Um? Oh oh no, yeah,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: I'm real. No threesomes on Thursday. You cannot do that.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: That's three years bad luck if you do. I don't
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: know why hold with the three? Yeah, but I got
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: that from all other players. You just don't do threesomes
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: on Thursday, not yea wait for thirds around midnight. You're good.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: But and it's already Friday, but you're doing threesome on Thursday.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Whoa bad luck? I'm telling you get caught. I don't
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: go I don't go white on Friday. I'm bound to happen.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: What does that mean? I mean I don't go white
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: on Friday? What does that mean? I hang out with
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: black superstitition too sick to have superstititions. I can't afford superstitious.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: If the temperature getting foughted, I'm already in trouble. I thought,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: I'm not going. I can't afford to be superstitious. I'm
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: already to say I got enough issues. Yeah, I got stare.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: I got word about black cats. Let this temperature drop
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: in this room. What did you notice? Black cat is nervous.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Whenever you see a black catty he nervous. Anyway, we're
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: trying to run from him, and he nervous. Yeah. When
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: when I was superstitious, but that's one of my Oh,
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: I was so afraid if if I saw a black cat,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: I just thought my day was doomed. Dude, I couldn't
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: get anything right. Yeah, well you're no, no, no, no no,
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: the song, the song changed the songs Stevie Wonders. Superstitious.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: You believe the things you don't understand. Then you suffer.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: You believe in the song. Yes, then when as I
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: got older, I believe in God. Right, That's why I
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: said as a kid I was when I was younger. Yeah,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: when you're a child, you believing God and I'm superstitious?
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: Can you do that? Is it possible? J pick one?
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: And if I were you wink wink, I pick God.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: As a kid, you know, split the polls and you
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: step on the crack, remember that breaks his back? Yeah,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: step on the mirror seven seven years. Then you have
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: to throw salt over your shoulder and if you spill,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: shoutout over your left old. Yeah, but you're somebody when
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: you get south in the what is that? They just
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: have to deal with the time. But Carla, you have
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: to tell you nutsto. To this day, my husband is
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: still superstitious. He will not split a pole. He will
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: not split a pole. Let me tell you something. I
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: used to be on the road with a guy named Dennis,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: and we'll be well, you know, you know, when we
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: hit the city, we're gonna get something eat, We're doing everything.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: As soon as we split a pole, he will make
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: me walk a quarter of a mile. And he said
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: to just spi up and make me walk back around
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: that pole. He would not go any further. Want black
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: people upset? Yeah, but you can take that if you
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: spit on them. That's so stupid, man, you can't. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: yeah yeah, hat on the bed, running with scissors, all
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: of that. Yeah yeah, Wait, what's the hat on the bed? Alright? Alright, wait,
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: we'll be back to finish this up and close out
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: the show at forty nine. After you're listening to the
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Steve Alright, we gotta say this. Our girl, Serena Williams
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: is playing some tennis. We got some thoughts on that
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: before we get out of here. But um, I gotta
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: tell you don't forget Tomorrow at seven twenty eastern, six
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: twenties Central, we are going to play are you smarter
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: than Nephew Tommy? All right, you got Tommy two in
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: a row, Come loyal listener, and Nephew Tommy will each
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: be given sixty seconds to correctly answer our trivia questions.
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: If you are smarter than nephew Tommy, you will win
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: a one dollar cash gift card, plus you'll be given
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: the chance to win the grand prize. I said, the
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: grand prize of one million dollars dollars. That's right. You
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: can't play unless you register, so please go to Steve
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: Harvey f M dot com to play. Yeah, all right,
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: what I just you know, just the genius that I am.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: And oh you're reflecting right now? Yeah, go ahead, I promised.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: I checked it back. I found about the game COVID
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: food for the brain. Food for the brain. So what
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: are you guys thinking about Serena. I'm so proud of Serena,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: you know what. And the place is pat too. Now
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: here's the thing that this is my opinion. They're not
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: there to root her on, they're not there to cheer.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: They're there to watch her lose. That's what they want
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: to do, because I mean, it is very sad, but
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: it's sometimes we live in But you know what, that's
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: where that's where self confidence kicks in, man, because if
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: you're out there playing a game like this, this is
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: not a team game. You have to buy yourself and
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: you already know you have thousands of people that are
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: pulling for you to not win, you know, but for
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: you to have the self confidence. Because this girl was down,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: uh this past match, she was down the first set.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: Even the commentators that are talking are always talking against against.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: So she knows how to wiel her way back in.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: She's so, she's so and that's and that's the other thing.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: If you want to change the phase of tennis, we
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: need to get some black commentators. There's some black people
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: to know about tennis. Yeah, yeah, I have several friends.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: You're absolutely right if you If you guys ever get
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: a chance though, UM watch her series being Serena. You
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: really get to to take a look at inside her
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: life and you know, with her new baby and and
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: her husband and her marriage, you know, because uh that's
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: kind of um taking taking center court if you will,
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: as far as her life goes, because tennis was everything
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: and now she has a baby and a husband as well,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: so you know, her trying to work all that in
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: together and still be the champion. That is, it's really
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: an interesting story. And she is still the champion and
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: she has a heart of a champion. You get to
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: see what what she's thinking, you know, because you don't
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: know what she's thinking on the court, because like you said, Tommy,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: she's so focused. But if you get a chance much
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: being Serena and I haven't counted I have not counted
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: her sister rout because you know, she big towards for
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: a long time and she's still in there, she's still competitive.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: I just hate it when I see them up against
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: each other. I hate that when they first started, they
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: were put them up against each other early and tournaments
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: because exactly, let's get ye, do'sn't even do it? And
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: the mother couldn't cheer for either one. The good thing
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: about her man to being such a strong black woman.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: She knows what she's walking into when she walks out
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: on that court, Mane. And that got me to their dad,
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: Richard Williams as well, because you know he raised two champions,
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: two beautiful champions. Yeah he really did, Yeah he did.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: But you know what when comes up, When it was
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: coming up, I was praying for a long time. It's
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: about the time taking beads and them girls, I knew
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: you would gonna turn this. I knew you was gonna
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: turn this. I said, Okay, we're doing a different clothing.
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: We're gonna be. We're gonna be our rule, positive, positive
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: to day, getting time, taking be say today, when you
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: get through, you say what you want to say. When
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: when you say Serena Williams, you're gonna say the world
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: greatest tennis player. Definitely, it's almost. It's almost. If she
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: wins a few more matches, it's gonna be ever the
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: world ever. Now, now that's the one we need, all right.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: Have you guys ever met her? I know she's been
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: on the show. She's sweet, she is, but that's not
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: what I was focused on. That ain't what we saw.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: I met her, but I didn't meet her. Let's look
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: at it this way. When she back up, she got
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: to look back. Lord man, she's just love her love
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: her heart. That's a lot of spirits, painter in person.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: I didn't see your face. You look stupid, never stupid.
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: You made your point so bad. I'll just noted over
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: here states that we got your back. We will. We
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: will be cheing you on for sure. To read read
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: read up, to read up. And the match is about
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: to start about a couple of minutes. So yeah, We're
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: rooting for our girl. And we talked about yesterday how
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: her ex Drake was there. That makes no and that
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: that made her even more uncomfortable. Even with the people
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: that have routed against what is he doing here? We
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: don't go to gaba, We don't go to my mind
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: of a champion, right, don't his eggs? No show here?
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: And I'm happy they can still be friends. Uh is
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: absolutely when? When? When? M Okay, well, it's been a
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: fun show today. Huh, guys, it's been wonder what Steve
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: Harvey is doing right now with somebody argument and argument.
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do is talk to me like that. Five.
