- 0:01Speaker 1: My fellow Americans, get ready for an incredible future, because
- 0:05Speaker 1: the Golden Age of America has only just begun. It
- 0:10Speaker 1: will be like nothing that has ever been seen before.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Thank you, God, bless you.
- 0:16Speaker 2: And God bless.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Welcome to the forty seven Morning Updates Special Address to
- 0:21Speaker 3: Congress Edition with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Welcome. It is the forty seven Morning Update Special Edition
- 0:27Speaker 2: after the State of the Union, Ben Ferguson with you,
- 0:30Speaker 2: and there's just one story we're talking about. On today's
- 0:34Speaker 2: Morning Update, the President of the United States of America
- 0:37Speaker 2: delivered one of the most effective and powerful addresses I
- 0:40Speaker 2: would argue in my lifetime. The President wove his early
- 0:44Speaker 2: accomplishments into his agenda and his vision for the future.
- 0:47Speaker 2: And for years, failed politicians have said they needed legislation
- 0:52Speaker 2: to secure the border, especially on the Democratic side. Well,
- 0:55Speaker 2: President Trump showed it was not a matter of legislation,
- 0:58Speaker 2: but a matter of will, and the American people are
- 1:02Speaker 2: clearly in favor of the lowest border crossing numbers that
- 1:06Speaker 2: have ever been recorded in history. In February, the President
- 1:10Speaker 2: also focused on the issues that united the country around
- 1:13Speaker 2: his campaign and the issues that will continue. As he
- 1:16Speaker 2: put it, to bring the country together, such as lowering taxes,
- 1:20Speaker 2: keeping men out of girls' sports, restoring American manufacturing, fighting
- 1:25Speaker 2: crime in our cities, and restoring national security. President Trump
- 1:30Speaker 2: put a face to the policies in an emotional and
- 1:33Speaker 2: personal way, which is where the biggest shock of the
- 1:36Speaker 2: night came, as Democrats put their face of anger and
- 1:41Speaker 2: radical policies and positions that they want to divide the
- 1:45Speaker 2: country on display. Instead of standing for things that you
- 1:48Speaker 2: would assume everyone could be in favor of, the Democrats
- 1:53Speaker 2: refused to show support for lowering taxes, fighting child cancer,
- 1:58Speaker 2: capturing terraces, protecting girl athletes, law and order and law
- 2:04Speaker 2: enforcement officers. And that's just some of the highlights. So
- 2:09Speaker 2: what did the President say? And maybe you didn't get
- 2:12Speaker 2: to see the entire speech, we decide to put together
- 2:15Speaker 2: a montage of the biggest moments of the night. Here's
- 2:19Speaker 2: the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump,
- 2:22Speaker 2: in his own words.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I returned to this chamber tonight to report that America's
- 2:28Speaker 1: momentum is back, our spirit is back, our pride is back,
- 2:32Speaker 1: our confidence is back, and the American dream is surging
- 2:36Speaker 1: bigger and better than ever before.
- 2:39Speaker 2: How we have ended.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Weaponized government, where as an example, a sitting president is
- 2:44Speaker 1: allowed to viciously prosecute his political opponent like me. How
- 2:51Speaker 1: did that work out?
- 2:53Speaker 3: Not to go?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Not to Within hours of taking the oath of office,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I declared a national emergence on our southern border, and
- 3:02Speaker 1: I deployed the US military and Vorder patrol to repel
- 3:06Speaker 1: the invasion of our country. And what a job they've done.
- 3:11Speaker 1: As a result, illegal border crossings last month were by
- 3:15Speaker 1: far the lowest ever recorded ever. To unshackle our economy,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I have directed that for every one new regulation, ten
- 3:30Speaker 1: old regulations must be eliminated, just like I did in
- 3:34Speaker 1: my very successful first day, and I have stopped all
- 3:38Speaker 1: government censorship and brought back free speech in America.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It's back.
- 3:46Speaker 1: We've ended the tyranny of so called diversity, equity, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: inclusion policies all across the entire federal government, and indeed
- 3:56Speaker 1: the private sector and our military and our country will
- 4:05Speaker 1: be worked no longer. I also signed an executive order
- 4:11Speaker 1: to ban men from playing in women's sports, and in
- 4:17Speaker 1: the near future, I want to do what has not
- 4:21Speaker 1: been done in twenty four years balance the federal budget.
- 4:25Speaker 2: We're going to balance it.
- 4:29Speaker 1: One point three million people from ages one hundred and
- 4:32Speaker 1: fifty to one hundred and fifty nine and over one
- 4:36Speaker 1: hundred and thirty thousand people according to the Social Security
- 4:42Speaker 1: databases our age over one hundred and sixty years old.
- 4:49Speaker 2: We have a.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Healthier country than I thought, Bobby, concluding to finish more
- 5:00Speaker 1: than thirty nine people between the ages of two hundred
- 5:02Speaker 1: and twenty and two hundred and twenty nine, one person
- 5:05Speaker 1: between the age of two hundred and forty and two
- 5:08Speaker 1: hundred and forty nine, and one person is listed at
- 5:12Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty years of age, more than one
- 5:16Speaker 1: hundred years, more than one hundred years older than our country.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But we're going to find out where that money is going,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and it's not going to be.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Pretty so as the President has America behind him on
- 5:31Speaker 2: stopping waste, fraud, and abuse, which you heard him talking
- 5:33Speaker 2: about right there, Democrats were sitting on their hands. They
- 5:37Speaker 2: were angry. So let's go through the major list of
- 5:40Speaker 2: all the things the Democrats refused to clap for, refuse
- 5:44Speaker 2: to stand for. Many of them were actually not political things,
- 5:47Speaker 2: but since the President was talking about it, they decided
- 5:50Speaker 2: to say no to it, no matter what tax cuts
- 5:54Speaker 2: they are not in favor of that, and refuse to clap.
- 5:57Speaker 2: The border being closed, something they claim they were in
- 6:00Speaker 2: favor of, and said that they were willing to pass
- 6:03Speaker 2: the legislation to quote get it done. They wouldn't clap
- 6:07Speaker 2: for that either. Even foster children finding hope and success
- 6:12Speaker 2: was something that apparently Democrats are not in favor of.
- 6:15Speaker 2: And then there was the personal stories of children being
- 6:18Speaker 2: murdered by illegal immigrants and the parents being in the audience.
- 6:23Speaker 2: They wouldn't even clap for the family members. Police officers
- 6:28Speaker 2: dying in the line of duty being honored and their
- 6:31Speaker 2: family something they would not stand to honor. Supporting workers
- 6:35Speaker 2: including us still workers with something apparently they couldn't clap for.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And even a child with brain cancer becoming an honorary
- 6:44Speaker 2: Secret Service member was too much for the Democratic Party
- 6:49Speaker 2: to say, we can stand with J. D. Daniels. The
- 6:55Speaker 2: President had no problem honoring him with a special surprise
- 6:59Speaker 2: and this is what he said.
- 7:00Speaker 1: DJ Daniel. He is thirteen years old and he has
- 7:03Speaker 1: always dreamed of becoming a police officer. In twenty eighteen,
- 7:07Speaker 1: DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer. The doctors gave him
- 7:12Speaker 1: five months at most to live. That was more than
- 7:15Speaker 1: six years ago, and tonight, DJ, We're going to do
- 7:19Speaker 1: you the biggest honor of them all. I am asking
- 7:22Speaker 1: our new Secret Service Director, Sean Curran to officially make
- 7:27Speaker 1: you an agent of the United States Secret Service.
- 7:40Speaker 2: The clapping that you heard there was the Republicans, not
- 7:44Speaker 2: the Democrats. There was even also a surprise for a
- 7:47Speaker 2: teenager who had lost a family member, a father, getting
- 7:51Speaker 2: into West Point, something they couldn't clap for. Even the
- 7:55Speaker 2: men and women in uniform that traditionally do not clap
- 7:58Speaker 2: that are in attendance serving our arms knew that was
- 8:02Speaker 2: a moment where it was okay for them to clap
- 8:04Speaker 2: for that teenager getting into West Point. Advancing our military
- 8:08Speaker 2: and defense structure was something Democrats couldn't support either. And then,
- 8:12Speaker 2: in a more shocking moment, as the President announced the
- 8:15Speaker 2: apprehension and extradition of an ISIS terrorists linked to the
- 8:20Speaker 2: twenty twenty one abbigate bombing in Afghanistan where thirteen Americans
- 8:26Speaker 2: lost their lives, the Democrats couldn't be bothered to clap
- 8:31Speaker 2: when he talked about catching that terrorist in the country.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Tonight, An please to announce that we have just apprehended
- 8:38Speaker 1: the top terrorists responsible for that atrocity, and he is
- 8:43Speaker 1: right now on his way here to face the swift
- 8:46Speaker 1: sword of American justice.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Yes, Republicans were excited because the President broke news in
- 8:54Speaker 2: that moment. All the people in the chamber did not
- 8:56Speaker 2: know that that had just happened, and there was genuine
- 9:00Speaker 2: hearing for a moment knowing that that isis terrace was
- 9:02Speaker 2: coming to America. That wasn't just on that issue. The
- 9:06Speaker 2: Democrats couldn't stand or clap. Bringing an American hostage home
- 9:10Speaker 2: from Russia because it was done under Donald Trump's time
- 9:14Speaker 2: in office was something they couldn't clap for. And even
- 9:17Speaker 2: the man who died because the Butler Rally assassination attempt,
- 9:22Speaker 2: when the President honored him, Democrats refused to honor that man. So,
- 9:28Speaker 2: if you want to know where we are right now
- 9:31Speaker 2: with the forty seventh President of the United States of
- 9:33Speaker 2: America and his time in office, these are the issues
- 9:37Speaker 2: the Democrats refused to stand for now. The Democratic Party,
- 9:41Speaker 2: they clearly are out of touch with the American people.
- 9:44Speaker 2: And one thing that's for sure is what Donald Trump
- 9:47Speaker 2: said at the State of the Union is an agenda
- 9:50Speaker 2: that is driven by the people. A mandate that the
- 9:54Speaker 2: people gave him to work on all of these issues,
- 9:57Speaker 2: and I have a feeling the president's approval rating will
- 10:00Speaker 2: go up significantly because of what he said to America.
