- 1:47Speaker 8: of the mony up looking. Come come on, you'll think that.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Uh huh, I sure will come on. Everybody, y'all listen
- 2:05Speaker 4: to the voice. Come on, dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 4: only Steve Harvey. Uh got a radio show? Yep, yeap.
- 2:16Speaker 9: Sometimes all I can say, help, man, how far I've
- 2:20Speaker 9: come is really unbelievable.
- 2:22Speaker 4: But you know I finally figured it out.
- 2:24Speaker 10: Man.
- 2:25Speaker 9: God allowed me to have the life I've had so
- 2:32Speaker 9: that I can become experienced at so many different things.
- 2:37Speaker 9: And in this experience, when I'm talking and sharing with people,
- 2:41Speaker 9: I will be able to relate to a lot of
- 2:43Speaker 9: different circumstances, not exact, but just the circumstances.
- 2:47Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 9: You know, if a person comes to me and they say, man,
- 2:50Speaker 9: I've been down and out, Okay, well I know what
- 2:52Speaker 9: that is.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Man.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I didn't I didn't have any direction.
- 2:56Speaker 9: Okay, got that been there man at one point in time,
- 3:00Speaker 9: and I just kept pilering mistake on top of mistakes. Okay,
- 3:06Speaker 9: So you know, I think what I'm trying to say
- 3:09Speaker 9: to everybody is when you're going through life and life
- 3:13Speaker 9: is dealing the cards that it deals, I want you
- 3:17Speaker 9: to understand that life deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card,
- 3:23Speaker 9: the setback card, the failure card, the mishap card, the
- 3:30Speaker 9: unexpected misery card. Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody
- 3:36Speaker 9: gonna get, the rash of bad decision card, everybody gonna
- 3:40Speaker 9: get them. Understand that going in that everybody is gonna
- 3:46Speaker 9: get these cards is how you play them, though, you know,
- 3:54Speaker 9: from time to time, one more time, it's how you
- 3:56Speaker 9: play them.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Uh you know.
- 3:58Speaker 9: From time to time when I'm watching TV, I love
- 4:01Speaker 9: to watch the World Series of Poker. I like watching
- 4:05Speaker 9: poker tournaments on TV because it's really weird.
- 4:10Speaker 4: What's happened to sport?
- 4:11Speaker 9: To a poker, they're actually trying to call it a sport,
- 4:15Speaker 9: you know, And as to everyday guy that doesn't have
- 4:18Speaker 9: to be athletically inclined to anything, who has a shot
- 4:23Speaker 9: of winning a title if they play their cards right.
- 4:27Speaker 9: The best poker players in the world don't have the
- 4:31Speaker 9: best hands, They just make the best plays.
- 4:37Speaker 4: I've seen guys.
- 4:38Speaker 9: Win a hand with nine to two in they hand
- 4:40Speaker 9: that's nothing, and win their hand because they knew the bluff,
- 4:45Speaker 9: they knew the odds, they calculated risks, they made the
- 4:50Speaker 9: stakes higher than the other person was willing to pay.
- 4:53Speaker 9: They gave off the illusion that they had something with
- 4:57Speaker 9: in actuality they had nothing. So what I enjoy about
- 5:03Speaker 9: poker and watching it is that these people, these people here,
- 5:09Speaker 9: play the hand they dealt and it ain't always a
- 5:12Speaker 9: good hand. But it ain't whether your hand is good,
- 5:15Speaker 9: And it ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards
- 5:18Speaker 9: or not, because you gonna get dealt some bad cars.
- 5:20Speaker 9: Everybody ain't finna get two bullets in their hand. You
- 5:22Speaker 9: ain't finna get two aces when you get dealt.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Uh.
- 5:25Speaker 9: You know, when you play a draw poker, some of
- 5:28Speaker 9: your cards gonna be nothing, But you gotta turn that
- 5:30Speaker 9: nothing into something. So when you get dealt these cards
- 5:33Speaker 9: in life, it ain't the fact that you getting to
- 5:36Speaker 9: keep getting them dealt. I was talking with a young
- 5:38Speaker 9: person yesterday and we were talking and we keep having
- 5:41Speaker 9: the same conversation over and over and over, and they
- 5:44Speaker 9: couldnot understand why they were not moving forward.
- 5:48Speaker 4: But I said, you don't understand.
- 5:49Speaker 9: Every time we talk we have the exact same conversation.
- 5:53Speaker 4: It is simply.
- 5:54Speaker 9: Because you keep getting your cards and you playing them
- 5:59Speaker 9: the same way. See, until you make a conscience of
- 6:03Speaker 9: the conscious decision to do something different, the results will
- 6:07Speaker 9: continue to be the same. See he's here's here's the
- 6:14Speaker 9: way this works. When you're dealt to disappointments in life,
- 6:18Speaker 9: it's how you handle the disappointments that determine their outcome
- 6:22Speaker 9: and who you are. Because everybody gonna be disappointment, everybody
- 6:26Speaker 9: gonna lose a loved one, everybody gonna make a bad decision,
- 6:29Speaker 9: everybody gonna end wake up one morning and have done
- 6:32Speaker 9: something they regretted. Everybody gonna get caught at the wrong time.
- 6:36Speaker 9: Every everybody gonna make a mistake. It ain't just you
- 6:40Speaker 9: that it's how you play your cards when they get
- 6:43Speaker 9: dealt to you that determine who you are. Now, how
- 6:46Speaker 9: do I play my cards better? First of all, it's
- 6:49Speaker 9: a mindset. Quit looking at everything as just the end
- 6:53Speaker 9: when it happens to you.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Oh lord, woe is me. No, everybody got your circum
- 7:00Speaker 4: stances somewhere. It ain't old woe as me. It's hold on, man, Okay,
- 7:05Speaker 4: let me play this out to see how God done
- 7:07Speaker 4: connected this to something else. See.
- 7:09Speaker 9: Soon as a person have a setback, what's the first
- 7:11Speaker 9: thing A lot of people do, They go straight negative.
- 7:14Speaker 9: I can't seem to get a break, I can't seem
- 7:16Speaker 9: to move forward. Hold on, man, do you realize this
- 7:19Speaker 9: could be connected to something? See you got to understand, man,
- 7:23Speaker 9: that this thing is all connected. That you not having
- 7:26Speaker 9: these mishaps and these spills and accidents and falls for
- 7:29Speaker 9: no reason. It's so you can become experienced at them.
- 7:33Speaker 9: So when he takes you to the next level, when
- 7:35Speaker 9: it happens again, you have no how and how to
- 7:37Speaker 9: handle it. If you keep throwing yourself off the cliff
- 7:41Speaker 9: every time something happened, you just gonna be a cliff diver.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Man, Stop tripping yourself out. I was talking to this
- 7:48Speaker 4: young person. I kept saying, and you know what, they
- 7:50Speaker 4: tried to tell me. I'm trying to stay positive, but
- 7:54Speaker 4: the people around here they just killing that. Oh I see.
- 7:58Speaker 9: So when you learn something and you know something, you
- 8:01Speaker 9: don't take ownership of it. You allow other people to
- 8:05Speaker 9: come into what you know and believe and shake it
- 8:08Speaker 9: loose from you. I don't care who you are. You
- 8:10Speaker 9: not doing me like that. Here's a deal. I have
- 8:13Speaker 9: a gift that was given to me from God. That
- 8:15Speaker 9: is the gift of comedy. That's what I've done. I've
- 8:18Speaker 9: made the bulk of my living on that skill set
- 8:21Speaker 9: right there. There are comedians who are supposedly friends of mine,
- 8:25Speaker 9: who I've worked with, who get around in huddles with
- 8:28Speaker 9: one another and they say, Man, Steve really ain't funny.
- 8:31Speaker 9: I don't see what they be laughing at. He ain't
- 8:33Speaker 9: funny to me. He wasn't the funniest king to me.
- 8:37Speaker 9: Excuse me, you're irrelevant in this conversation because irregardless as
- 8:42Speaker 9: to how you feel about me, there are people think
- 8:45Speaker 9: that I'm knocked down kill over funny. But more importantly,
- 8:49Speaker 9: I own the gift that God gave to me. I
- 8:52Speaker 9: take ownership of his blessing. Cause you don't think it's so.
- 8:56Speaker 9: You ain't taking that from me. Stop letting people steal
- 8:59Speaker 9: your joy. Stop letting people take what you're supposed to know. Look,
- 9:05Speaker 9: I'm a kind person at heart. Man, you ain't nothing.
- 9:09Speaker 9: Now you sit here going, man, I guess I ain't.
- 9:11Speaker 4: What's your tripping for?
- 9:13Speaker 9: You are a kind person, own that take ownership of it.
- 9:18Speaker 9: Stop letting things God has given you be taken away
- 9:22Speaker 9: from others. The devil is a cold player, and he
- 9:25Speaker 9: got cold players working for him, just shaking, just taking
- 9:28Speaker 9: stuff from you. You know, I'm a hard worker. I
- 9:31Speaker 9: really am intelligent.
- 9:33Speaker 4: You stupid man. I thought I was a hard worker.
- 9:36Speaker 10: Man.
- 9:36Speaker 4: They came in here and said I was stupid. Man.
- 9:38Speaker 4: I don't know what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me?
- 9:42Speaker 4: You're a very bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership.
- 9:46Speaker 9: When God gives you something, blesses you would a gift,
- 9:48Speaker 9: a talent, a skill set, a mindset.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Own it.
- 9:52Speaker 9: Don't let people come in here and take it from you. Man, Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 9: I probably shouldn't have went that.
- 9:57Speaker 5: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 9: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your divided attention. I
- 10:07Speaker 9: don't know if you've noticed it or not paid any
- 10:09Speaker 9: attention to it, but that God Almighty.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Yep did it again.
- 10:16Speaker 9: Yep showed up, Yeap produced another day, Yep, gave it
- 10:23Speaker 9: to us, didn't charge us.
- 10:26Speaker 4: None of that. Gave it to us freely.
- 10:31Speaker 9: Because he loves us, and his love for us is real,
- 10:35Speaker 9: and there's nothing you could do about it.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Man, Do you know the best thing you could do is.
- 10:39Speaker 9: Absolutely the best thing you could do is start a
- 10:41Speaker 9: relationship with God and maintain it. Talk to him. Get
- 10:45Speaker 9: yourself some help on a day to day basis. Quit
- 10:47Speaker 9: trying to figure this thing out because you ain't supposed to.
- 10:51Speaker 9: Get yourself a relationship. Get the strength and the courage
- 10:54Speaker 9: and the wisdom to get through today. Let tomorrow take
- 10:57Speaker 9: care of itself. It's okay to have hopes and dreams
- 10:59Speaker 9: and visions, but but don't just just give us this
- 11:03Speaker 9: day our daily bread.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Do that You'll be fine. This is Steve Harby Moore.

- 11:24Speaker 4: called a birthday today?
- 11:25Speaker 2: Uncle Jo?
- 11:27Speaker 5: Who's doing birthday.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Tom waiting on you to do what you do.
- 11:34Speaker 9: Remind me you ain't got no employee, so help her
- 11:37Speaker 9: brother out.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Birthday call her sit up in here. You know what Jr.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Man?
- 11:42Speaker 9: You know trip because you did that to me and

- 11:49Speaker 9: you didn't even tell your boys that now you're come
- 11:51Speaker 9: to talk.
- 11:51Speaker 4: You don't know what the day is.
- 11:53Speaker 9: No this call of birthday one. You ain't want to
- 11:57Speaker 9: text that to me, so I could have just said
- 11:59Speaker 9: it like I.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Knew what was happening.
- 12:01Speaker 9: You changed, man, every since you heard about them hair
- 12:05Speaker 9: transplants they doing in Turkey.
- 12:07Speaker 4: You don't changed. You said your little Monday stuff.
- 12:10Speaker 9: I know you've been saving your money so you can
- 12:12Speaker 9: get on plane going over there, and you're gonna get
- 12:15Speaker 9: all the all them needleshot in his head.
- 12:17Speaker 4: I told him to come on, let.
- 12:18Speaker 11: Go give me some things you love about call On.
- 12:30Speaker 4: First of all, that's her hair.
- 12:33Speaker 5: That's her hair.
- 12:35Speaker 4: And she does it all the time. She's very You
- 12:39Speaker 4: can count on her. She's dependable, reliable, she's knowledgeable about
- 12:43Speaker 4: her job. She's the same. And she keep it hood,
- 12:47Speaker 4: you know, like the ship that keep it hood. She's
- 12:50Speaker 4: not busy. She can't be. You know, she has threatened
- 12:54Speaker 4: a few of the cheer.
- 12:55Speaker 9: Moms over the years and put him in check and everything.
- 12:59Speaker 9: You know, she drove her car around the track a
- 13:02Speaker 9: few times checking on her baby and would drive that
- 13:05Speaker 9: thing through them gates if y'all don't let her baby
- 13:08Speaker 9: on their cheered team. You know, just all of that
- 13:11Speaker 9: stuff like that, and the real uh honor in this
- 13:15Speaker 9: birthday needs to go to Tash, her husband, who is
- 13:18Speaker 9: tolerated to do type of woman.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Well, who has his ability to tolerate?
- 13:22Speaker 5: You're understanding one time.
- 13:25Speaker 9: So big up the Tash. Hey, Carl, how long y'all
- 13:29Speaker 9: been married?
- 13:29Speaker 5: Twenty one years?
- 13:31Speaker 4: To congratulations twenty one years?
- 13:35Speaker 12: My birthday though, hady birthday, Carlo coming up at thirty
- 13:40Speaker 12: two minutes after the hour. We got the pastors with
- 13:43Speaker 12: a word coming up right after this. You're listening Steve
- 13:47Speaker 12: Harvey Morning Show. Hi, this is Shirley's Strawberry and I'm
- 13:54Speaker 12: partnering with the lead. Let me tell you it couldn't
- 13:56Speaker 12: have come at a better time. I'm on some furniture
- 13:59Speaker 12: around last week weekend in my new place. It turns
- 14:01Speaker 12: out that was a really bad idea because all that
- 14:04Speaker 12: bending and lifting and pretending I'm still twenty five didn't
- 14:07Speaker 12: agree with my knees. So I grabbed a leaf because
- 14:11Speaker 12: when my body pain shows up, I need something that lasts.
- 14:14Speaker 12: With just one pill, a leaf lasts up to twelve hours.
- 14:17Speaker 12: Don't let those aches and pain holds you back from
- 14:19Speaker 12: doing what's important to you.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Use as directed.
- 14:23Speaker 12: It is time now for Reverend Motown and Deacon Deaf
- 14:26Speaker 12: jam with a word.
- 14:28Speaker 4: We full galvel. This's auspicious bulgarius mar delicious day that
- 14:39Speaker 4: we are indefecate. We definitely indemnify for the four to
- 14:48Speaker 4: five h Deacon has a word from the JPJJ that's
- 14:54Speaker 4: a jackpot joint or Jerusalem. Oh, come on, Deaf, we
- 15:00Speaker 4: are going from the book. If you would turn past it,
- 15:05Speaker 4: we are coming from the Book of Murdoch today, Murdoc Murdoch.
- 15:12Speaker 13: From the Book of Murdoch. It's going to be chapter two,
- 15:16Speaker 13: starting verse one. And it starts and the passage goes
- 15:20Speaker 13: this way past it says morning and we slept the
- 15:25Speaker 13: night away.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Stop right there.
- 15:29Speaker 9: That is a revelation that is gonna come as rather
- 15:34Speaker 9: shocking news. It's morning and we done slept the night away.
- 15:42Speaker 4: It happened.
- 15:44Speaker 13: Now we can't turn back the hands of time.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Stop right. There ain't a day we can do. Boy, yes,
- 15:53Speaker 4: we've stolen this moment.
- 15:55Speaker 13: We forgot to face one simple fact. We both belonged
- 16:01Speaker 13: to someone else as we slept the night away.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Stop right there. We have two people.
- 16:14Speaker 9: Engaged in you know, act of sin and debaucher. Well four,
- 16:23Speaker 9: now the realization has hit them that there's a dawning
- 16:30Speaker 9: over a new day.
- 16:32Speaker 4: And then they can't turn back the heads of time.
- 16:37Speaker 4: And here they lay, and they're about to be a prize.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Two page read. Listen to that's compass. It says, it's morning,
- 16:48Speaker 4: sunlight shines across your sleeping face.
- 16:53Speaker 9: Stop right there, this heap of new that I should
- 16:57Speaker 9: have been home. She's gonna let the sun like shine
- 17:01Speaker 9: across my sleeping face.
- 17:03Speaker 4: She got the nurtive.
- 17:04Speaker 9: Write a verse about it. All you had to do
- 17:07Speaker 9: is shake me. You know I snow when I sleep.
- 17:09Speaker 4: You could have woke me up several times I went
- 17:11Speaker 4: to the bathroom. You could have said, hey, it's time
- 17:14Speaker 4: for you to go home. But you don set up
- 17:16Speaker 4: in here and let the sun lie come across my
- 17:20Speaker 4: sleeping face. It's daytime. Now I got a problem like
- 17:24Speaker 4: I ain't never had that weed.
- 17:27Speaker 13: A new day brings reality, and we must go our
- 17:32Speaker 13: separate ways.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Sun Right there, we're sitting when our separated, when it
- 17:37Speaker 4: was still dark. You're sitting up in there talking about
- 17:39Speaker 4: a new data and bought a realization. I realized I
- 17:42Speaker 4: gotta slept way too long. Where my shoes? I can't
- 17:47Speaker 4: fine my.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Socks, don't know where my draws is. I don't know
- 17:53Speaker 9: how to explain all the lipstick on my neck and chest.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I ain't got time to shower. Hell about the break.
- 18:01Speaker 4: This is a new day. We what a lovely night
- 18:06Speaker 4: we had?
- 18:08Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 18:09Speaker 4: Yeah, stop right there? Where did we talk about a
- 18:11Speaker 4: lovely night?
- 18:12Speaker 10: Folk?
- 18:13Speaker 4: It's day time now. We ain't got time to reflect
- 18:16Speaker 4: on no lovely night. There's a U that morning right now,
- 18:20Speaker 4: sunlight and crept across my sleeping face.
- 18:24Speaker 9: Now hear you, He is talking about we had a
- 18:26Speaker 9: lovely night. We should have ended all this last night.
- 18:29Speaker 13: We as we shared each other's loud we forgot about.
- 18:36Speaker 4: All the pain we'd calls as we slept the night away.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Stop right there.
- 18:46Speaker 9: You might have had a brief moment of in jog
- 18:48Speaker 9: me eh, but you forgot about.
- 18:52Speaker 4: The pain that you was gonna calls.
- 18:56Speaker 9: Yeah, you also didn't consider the pain that you about
- 19:01Speaker 9: to be in yourself.
- 19:04Speaker 4: You got to drive home and come up with the
- 19:07Speaker 4: reason why you've been out all night. I suggest you
- 19:11Speaker 4: take your car and wrapping around the telephoning bowl, get
- 19:14Speaker 4: yourself admitted into the emergency room for dun drive home,
- 19:19Speaker 4: cause no matter what you say, it ain't gonna be
- 19:22Speaker 4: good enough. You got glitter all in your hair. Where
- 19:26Speaker 4: did you get that glitter from? You're gonna be explaining
- 19:29Speaker 4: that glitter for two three weeks. Now read as we lay,
- 19:34Speaker 4: we forgot about tomorrow as we lay.
- 19:40Speaker 9: Sorry right there? Yeah, come on, you forgot about tomorrow
- 19:47Speaker 9: and we lay. Nah, you the messing around and tomorrow
- 19:53Speaker 9: is here. You can't forget tomorrow, now, can your boy?
- 19:58Speaker 9: Because tomorrow and messing Ronnie crept up on you. You
- 20:01Speaker 9: wouldn't let the sunlight creep across your sleeping face. Nah,
- 20:06Speaker 9: it's tomorrow is here. You wasn't worried about the pain

- 20:47Speaker 9: you was, and you thought you was a slave.
- 20:49Speaker 4: You don't another watch you sign up.
- 20:52Speaker 9: Go to the Whitney plantation, start picking cotton, get your

- 30:26Speaker 12: we'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:29Speaker 5: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 30:36Speaker 12: So, according to this article on people dot com, parents
- 30:40Speaker 12: chose to attend their daughter's wedding instead of their son's
- 30:43Speaker 12: high school graduation. This story is resurfaced because the Sun
- 30:48Speaker 12: is now about to graduate college and he doesn't want
- 30:51Speaker 12: his family to come to his graduation at all.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Here's what happened done with his family?
- 30:58Speaker 4: Yeah we know.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Plus anyway, this is what happened.
- 31:03Speaker 12: The daughter had her date set for her wedding back
- 31:06Speaker 12: when the Sun was a junior in high school. When
- 31:09Speaker 12: the Sun's high school graduation date was announced, it happened
- 31:13Speaker 12: to fall on the same day as the wedding. The
- 31:15Speaker 12: daughter was well into the wedding planning and she could
- 31:18Speaker 12: not change her date, so the parents decided to go
- 31:22Speaker 12: to the wedding, mainly because the dad had to walk
- 31:25Speaker 12: his daughter down the aisle and the mother could not
- 31:28Speaker 12: miss her daughter's special day. Come on, all of the
- 31:31Speaker 12: other family members chose the wedding too. Now that the
- 31:34Speaker 12: son is twenty one years old and about to graduate
- 31:36Speaker 12: from college, and he said that he does not want
- 31:40Speaker 12: any of his family to attend his graduation period.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Okay, so here's a question. What would you guys have
- 31:46Speaker 5: done in this situation? What would you have done? Steve,
- 31:49Speaker 5: the wedding or the graduation?
- 31:50Speaker 4: Which one the chances of meet graduating from anything is
- 31:53Speaker 4: so slim?
- 31:54Speaker 10: Not you?
- 31:57Speaker 5: No, as the parent?
- 31:59Speaker 10: What was?
- 32:02Speaker 4: Well, he's so great? The girl can't change the wedding date,
- 32:07Speaker 4: you know, pay for venues and all this hell and
- 32:10Speaker 4: the wedding day was playing when the boy was a junior.
- 32:13Speaker 5: Yeah, junior, who knew that.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Date came out? The father has to walk the girl
- 32:19Speaker 4: down the aisle. Some other family one.
- 32:23Speaker 12: Time, though, could have went to So you're saying the
- 32:26Speaker 12: mom should have gone to the graduation.
- 32:28Speaker 4: No, the mom can't miss her daughter's wedding. Yeah, you
- 32:32Speaker 4: can't do that.
- 32:33Speaker 5: The daughter needster.
- 32:34Speaker 1: So maybe the grandparents, aunt and uncle somebody could.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Have went, somebody should have when saw this boy walk
- 32:39Speaker 4: across the state. They couldn't change the wedding time.
- 32:44Speaker 5: Push your back up, no, Tommy.
- 32:47Speaker 12: Now, So now he's graduating from college and he doesn't care.
- 32:52Speaker 4: He right now, but don't nobody, Well you know he's
- 32:57Speaker 4: being bitter. Yeah, I know it heard him. Nobody came
- 33:01Speaker 4: to see walk, crush raise that he's got a real
- 33:05Speaker 4: nobody can no one what about the date?
- 33:11Speaker 1: Nobody said, well, you know that's graduation next year, so
- 33:14Speaker 1: he might be graduating around that time.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Can you move it later in the month.
- 33:19Speaker 5: But I don't think he knew.
- 33:20Speaker 12: I don't think he.
- 33:21Speaker 5: I mean, but you kind of know it's you know,
- 33:25Speaker 5: it's May. Yeah, you kind of.
- 33:28Speaker 4: So they kind of.
- 33:33Speaker 5: Like if they have kids, he's not an uncle to them.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Nobody in his family period. The sister and the new
- 33:41Speaker 4: husband should definitely go regardless, Oh.
- 33:44Speaker 5: To the college graduation to the bout doesn't want them there,
- 33:48Speaker 5: that's the thing. He doesn't want them there.
- 33:50Speaker 4: He's saying he don't want them, but he really if
- 33:53Speaker 4: he look out there and he sees people, it's gonna
- 33:55Speaker 4: matter to him.
- 33:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I think the whole family should go.
- 33:58Speaker 4: Was hurt. Yeah, he was hurt, but he time. You
- 34:01Speaker 4: gotta get over stuff like that.

- 34:17Speaker 4: legitimately hurt.
- 34:19Speaker 5: Yeah, and I mean it's understandable for sure.
- 34:22Speaker 4: I would get hold to his girlfriend.
- 34:25Speaker 9: Uh huh in college? College he got a girlfriend. Yeah,
- 34:29Speaker 9: help understand what happened? And how could we make this special?
- 34:33Speaker 9: Throw a surprise party for him after the graduation?

- 35:47Speaker 12: listed a few things that passengers do that really get
- 35:51Speaker 12: on their nerves? These things irritate them. Okay, we all

- 56:44Speaker 4: got it for you here. It is a Strawberry letter.
- 56:46Speaker 5: Thank you, nephew. Subject a masterpiece without piece or a piece. Okay,
- 56:54Speaker 5: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:55Speaker 12: I'm writing in for my twenty nine year old brother
- 56:58Speaker 12: and hopes you can help him out. He calls his
- 57:01Speaker 12: girlfriend a masterpiece, and I have to agree that she's
- 57:05Speaker 12: almost perfect and the prettiest girl he's ever dated. He
- 57:09Speaker 12: fell in love for superficial reasons and has not taken
- 57:12Speaker 12: the time to get to know her. His girlfriend works
- 57:14Speaker 12: as a model and an Instagram influencer, and she makes
- 57:18Speaker 12: great money. She's got a natural body and curly red
- 57:22Speaker 12: hair with big, pretty eyes. She is a stunning woman.
- 57:26Speaker 12: But she's turned my brother into a different man. He's
- 57:30Speaker 12: been sleeping on my couch for a week because she
- 57:32Speaker 12: put him out of his own house. He's a techie,
- 57:35Speaker 12: so he makes great money and that's what attracted her.
- 57:39Speaker 5: He's given her money for skin and.
- 57:41Speaker 12: Teeth enhancement, so he helped create that masterpiece here. Recently,
- 57:46Speaker 12: she stopped having sex with him and told him her
- 57:49Speaker 12: body is a temple for her husband, and since he
- 57:52Speaker 12: won't marry her, then he can't touch her. I agreed
- 57:56Speaker 12: with her on that, so I'm in the middle of
- 57:59Speaker 12: something that I have no business being in. My brother said,
- 58:02Speaker 12: there is no peace living with this woman. Her life
- 58:05Speaker 12: is taking photos, going out to clubs and restaurants and
- 58:08Speaker 12: traveling to make money. He's in love with the idea
- 58:11Speaker 12: of her, and quite honestly, I think she's cheating on him.
- 58:16Speaker 12: I want him to get a backbone and put her
- 58:18Speaker 12: out of his house. If she's that bad, being the
- 58:21Speaker 12: gentleman that he is, he said, he can't just uproot
- 58:24Speaker 12: her like that. He remains faithful to his masterpiece, but
- 58:28Speaker 12: he can't even get a piece.
- 58:31Speaker 5: One day he.
- 58:31Speaker 12: Wants to break up with her, and another day he
- 58:33Speaker 12: wants to buy a ring and ask her to marry him.
- 58:36Speaker 12: I feel bad for him, but I want him off
- 58:39Speaker 12: my couch. This woman has to hold on This woman
- 58:42Speaker 12: has a hold on him. So how can I make him,
- 58:45Speaker 12: help him make the right decision. Well, you can't, you can't.
- 58:51Speaker 5: This really has nothing to do with you. But he's
- 58:54Speaker 5: your brother.
- 58:54Speaker 12: You care what happens to him, and he's on your couch,
- 58:58Speaker 12: so you are involved by default. But he's really not
- 59:02Speaker 12: being a man in this situation. I mean, clearly you
- 59:05Speaker 12: said in a letter he's in love with her. Your
- 59:07Speaker 12: brother sprung on his so called masterpiece girlfriend. I mean,
- 59:11Speaker 12: who is this fine that they can make you leave
- 59:14Speaker 12: your own house, your own house that you pay the
- 59:16Speaker 12: mortgage for.
- 59:18Speaker 5: Okay, So in this case, not until he's had enough.
- 59:23Speaker 12: And can he stand up to her or catches her
- 59:25Speaker 12: cheating like you think she is, will he be able
- 59:29Speaker 12: to break up with her? I mean, it's just as
- 59:31Speaker 12: simple as that. Because he's got it real bad. I mean,
- 59:34Speaker 12: you said she's beautiful. She's got curves, big pretty eyes,
- 59:37Speaker 12: curly hair, all of that. You know, as his sibling,
- 59:41Speaker 12: you could shake things up and try putting him out
- 59:43Speaker 12: of your house, which would force him to go back home.
- 59:46Speaker 12: But please know that he'll be mad at you for
- 59:48Speaker 12: a while and when he should be mad at his
- 59:50Speaker 12: girl the masterpiece. But again he sprung, so I just
- 59:54Speaker 12: wouldn't count on that. You know, try giving him a
- 59:57Speaker 12: deadline of when he has to be out of the
- 59:59Speaker 12: house and see what happens. I mean, he's a grown man.
- 1:00:02Speaker 12: He's not your responsibility. I think you should let him
- 1:00:05Speaker 12: figure this out in his own house.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: Steve, this boy twenty nine years old. Twenty nine that
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: ain't old enough, y'all, that ain't old enough to do
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: all the things that I'm about to tell him he
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: needs to do, because he twenty nine and he can't
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: believe what has happened to him. This boy is so
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: messed up because he cast his girlfriend a masterpiece. God,
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: I don't think if y'all know what that is.
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: But then this other woman says, and I God agree,
- 1:00:49Speaker 9: because she almost perfect, prettiest girl he's ever dated, Sheliz said,
- 1:00:55Speaker 9: prettiest girl she's ever seen.
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: CLIs said that he fell in love for superficial reasons
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: and has not taken the time to get to know her.
- 1:01:04Speaker 9: Now that is all true. What he fell in love
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: with was I will share with you later on love
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: with the concept.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: Oh my god, look at her, Oh God, and she
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: won't me. Oh, this is too much. His girlfriend works
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: as a model Instagram influence. She makes great money.
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: She's got a natural body, curly red hair, big pretty eye.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Who ain't in? Who ain't signing up for this? He
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: twenty nine. All of us on this radio show is
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: older than that. All the fellas this description right here,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: twenty nine. We signing up for that?
- 1:01:54Speaker 14: We single.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: In like fleeing.
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: She's a stunning but she's turned my brother into a
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: different man. He's been sleeping on my couch for a
- 1:02:04Speaker 9: week because she put him.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: Out of his own house.
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: He's a techie, so he makes great money and that's
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: what attracted her. Okay, so everybody's attracted for superficial reasons.
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: He's giving her money for skin and teeth enhancements. So
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: he helped create the masterpiece. Now, she says recently she
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: stopped having sex with him and told him her body
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: is a template for her husband and since he won't
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: marry her, then she can't he can't touch her.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: And I agree with her on that. And now who
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: side you on? Now you're on your brother's side of
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: the girl's side. So I'm in the middle of something
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: that I have no business being there. Why you're in
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: the middle of him? Because your brother is telling you
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: this stuff. You know why telling you that?
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: Because he got time to tell the story, because he
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: on your couch. We'll get into that when we come back.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: I have an answer for you.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: He not gonna do it. I ain't not gonna do
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: what I'm about it.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: We will have her.
- 1:02:58Speaker 12: Two of Thieves's response to to day Strawberry letter, the
- 1:03:01Speaker 12: subject is a masterpiece without peace or a piece. Steve's responds,
- 1:03:07Speaker 12: Part two coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:11Speaker 12: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:47Speaker 1: with the Swiffer Power Mop.
- 1:03:49Speaker 12: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:52Speaker 12: The subject a masterpiece without peace or a piece.
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: Hmm, Well, this woman writing for her twenty nine year
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: old brother that's falling in love with this masterpiece.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Supermodel influence on Instagram, pretty hell, pretty eyes, red cur
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: natural body, the prettiest girl he's ever dated. He didn't
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: have some flowers though, but this one right here top
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: the cake. She likes him because he's a tech and
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: he made great money, and that's what attracted her. So
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: both of them are attracted for superficial reasons.
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: He's giving her money for skin teeth enhancement, so he's
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: helped create this masterpiece. Now, she didn't stop having sex
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: with him because she said her body is a temple
- 1:04:36Speaker 9: for her husband, and since he won't marry her, he
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: can't touch her.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: The lady wrote the letter, say, I agreeve with her.
- 1:04:42Speaker 10: On that.
- 1:04:42Speaker 9: So I'm in the middle of something I have no
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: bis as being in Well, you're really not in the
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: middle of it. You allowed yourself to be drugg into
- 1:04:48Speaker 9: the middle of it, but really not your business. This
- 1:04:51Speaker 9: is your brother business. Now, I'm gonna get to what
- 1:04:54Speaker 9: the brothers should do and you should do. But your
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: brother not gonna do what I'm about to do it
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: because you got to be a little bit older to
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: do what I'm about to tell you to do. He
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: twenty nine, and he sprung, he's not gonna be able
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: to do it. She too fine for him. She's way
- 1:05:05Speaker 9: too fine. My brother said, there's no peace living with
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: this woman. Her life is taking photos, going out to clubs, restaurants,
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: and traveling to make money. He's in love with the
- 1:05:18Speaker 9: idea of her, and quite honestly, see right there, she said,
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: he's in love.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: With the idea of her. It's the concept. I got her.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Everybody want her, but I got her.
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: But what you have, dog is nothing, cause you don't
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: even like your life with her because it's taking photos,
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: going to clubs and restaurants, traveling to make money. I
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: want him to get a backbone and put her out
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: of his house if she's that bad. Being the gentleman
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: he is, he says he can't just uproot her like that.
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: Now here's a problem you're saying that. And then I
- 1:05:58Speaker 9: read the part in the letter about he's been sleeping
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: on my couch for a week because she put him.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Out of his own house.
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: Now that's interesting to me because it's more to this
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: story than you let know on to she put him
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: out the house. If y'all not sleeping together, he could
- 1:06:17Speaker 9: just sleep on his own couch. I'm assuming that their
- 1:06:21Speaker 9: house has a couch. That's one of the primary articles
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: of furniture that you buy with the first event. Everybody
- 1:06:28Speaker 9: want a couch. I don't hear nobody talking about apartment
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: without a couch. The first thing you need is a bed.
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: Right after that bed, you need a couch. You got
- 1:06:39Speaker 9: to have somewhere to sit other than that bed. That
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: couch normally is in front of a TV. This just
- 1:06:47Speaker 9: in every house I've ever been here. If it's TV
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: up on the wall, I can promise you just couch in.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Front of it.
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: If it ain't something wrong, ain't nobody just putting no
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: TV on the wall. Ain't got no couch? And why
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: am I saying that he got a couch.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: At his house?
- 1:07:02Speaker 9: Why he didn't just go sleep on the couch while
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: they work through this. Her body is a temple thing.
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: Why did he get put out of his own house?
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: That was her seeing how much power she had over him,
- 1:07:16Speaker 9: and he gave it to him. Now he at your house.
- 1:07:20Speaker 9: He remains faithful to his masterpiece, but he can't even
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: get a piece.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Then you say, one day wants to break up with it,
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: the other day wants to buy ring and ask him
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: to marry him.
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: I feel bad for him, but I want him off
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: my couch. Well put him off your couch. If you
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: put him off the couch, what he gonna do? You say,
- 1:07:37Speaker 9: you make good money, go back and live on your
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: own couch. See him and her got to work this out.
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: The woman has a hole on him? So how can
- 1:07:46Speaker 9: I help him make the right decision? All right, here's
- 1:07:48Speaker 9: what you could say to your brother, or you can
- 1:07:51Speaker 9: record my voice and play this back to your brother.
- 1:07:55Speaker 9: First of all, I would tell your brother that he
- 1:07:58Speaker 9: sprung and he's in love with it. Concept of this
- 1:08:01Speaker 9: supermodel Instagram influenza fine chick with the red curly hair
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: that's got him all messed up. He's tatter taste of
- 1:08:10Speaker 9: the forbidden fruit, and now she just snatched it away
- 1:08:12Speaker 9: from me. He wants the fruit back. That's power she
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: handling her beds, and she controlled them. Now I would
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: ask him, do you really want more of this life?
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: Because if you marry this girl, this is the life
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: you gonna get because she's not gonna stop being who
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: she is cause she making money and she's not gonna
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: stop for you.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: She not gonna stop now and she not gonna stop then.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: So you have to ask your brother, who one day
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: wants to break up with and another day wants to
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: buy a ring? Is this the life you really want?
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: Do you want more of it? Because I have news
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: for you, sir. Nothing changes after marriage. You have to
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: understand this. Nothing changes after marriage.
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: Everything that's wrong before the marriage will be magnified after
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: the massage. So all these problems you have and right
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: now this don't touch me. This you go live over
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: your sister house. This you get out this.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: I like club and I like photos, I like traveling.
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: I like money.
- 1:09:15Speaker 9: All that's gonna stay to stay, gonna stay the same. Sit,
- 1:09:18Speaker 9: young brother, here's what you have to do. You're gonna
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: have to muster the strength to play offense, because right
- 1:09:26Speaker 9: now you on defense. First of all, I'm not leaving
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: my house. I'm sleeping on this couch. I'm not gonna
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: touch you, even though I want you dealing. I'm not
- 1:09:35Speaker 9: gonna touch you. But I'm twenty nine and I'm single.
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: I'm gonna touch somebody.
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: All right, Steve, thank you.
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: He's not gonna do none of that.
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: Because her.

- 1:11:16Speaker 11: they picked up the number one. They want them to
- 1:11:18Speaker 11: win again. They said they got a chance to go
- 1:11:20Speaker 11: back to back. Two was the Difer Nuggets.
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: Live with that.
- 1:11:23Speaker 11: That's fine, you know your catch.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: I got all that.
- 1:11:25Speaker 11: But here's where it get interested. The Houston Rockets is three.
- 1:11:28Speaker 11: That's that's very part.
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: What that's very good.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Ain't nobody mean nothing. That's why I said it's very important.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: Time three? We three, We're going to Minnesota. Then you
