- 0:12Speaker 1: Don't given them a black million bus buss boozy.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Ya listening to.

- 0:50Speaker 2: Joy, you go do that.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Love turn.
- 1:24Speaker 5: You gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouth turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: the mouth.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Water the morning up?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out you think, huh? I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah
- 2:11Speaker 6: I do, Man, God is good. Hey today, I just
- 2:15Speaker 6: want to get right to it because this has really
- 2:17Speaker 6: been pressing me. I woke up and this was on
- 2:21Speaker 6: my mind, and I wanted to share it with you
- 2:24Speaker 6: because I know this for a fact. See I've lived
- 2:29Speaker 6: this for a fact, and you know the majority of
- 2:34Speaker 6: things I talk about in the morning before we get
- 2:38Speaker 6: started with the regular show. It's something that I've experienced.
- 2:42Speaker 6: I can only tell you what I know, and so
- 2:44Speaker 6: I've really really understood why God has had my life
- 2:49Speaker 6: go the way that is gone, Because if I didn't
- 2:53Speaker 6: have all these tests in my life, I didn't have
- 2:56Speaker 6: all these tests that I passed, all these tests that
- 2:59Speaker 6: I failed. If I didn't have all of those, the
- 3:05Speaker 6: good and the bad. What could I share with you
- 3:08Speaker 6: in the morning? What could I tell you about hanging?
- 3:15Speaker 6: What could I tell you about failing and then winning?
- 3:18Speaker 6: What could I tell you about hanging in now when
- 3:22Speaker 6: all hope was gone? How could I share that with you?
- 3:25Speaker 6: Unless I've had those moments myself. I don't care what
- 3:31Speaker 6: happens to you. I don't care what you're going through.
- 3:37Speaker 6: Don't you dare dare give up? Under no circumstances. Don't
- 3:43Speaker 6: you dare dare ever give up? It is the biggest
- 3:50Speaker 6: trick that the enemy has. It's making us think we
- 3:56Speaker 6: ain't gonna make it, to uh down the illusion that
- 4:02Speaker 6: there is a possibility that you might still have a
- 4:07Speaker 6: chance to get over.
- 4:09Speaker 2: The biggest trick he uses is when you make a
- 4:12Speaker 2: mistake and you fall.
- 4:13Speaker 6: He gets you to start to thinking it's final, that
- 4:17Speaker 6: there is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there is
- 4:21Speaker 6: no recovery. He just makes you think it's final. He
- 4:26Speaker 6: is the master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 4:32Speaker 6: I don't care what besets you, befalls you, trips you up,
- 4:36Speaker 6: what circumstantial situations may arise. Don't you dare, dare ever
- 4:42Speaker 6: give up because listen to me, these are tests that
- 4:47Speaker 6: you are going through. And these tests, whether you pass
- 4:52Speaker 6: the test or it appears that you've failed the test,
- 4:56Speaker 6: the test accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it.
- 5:01Speaker 6: If you pass the test, Let's say you're going through
- 5:05Speaker 6: a situation and you get over and it goes the
- 5:08Speaker 6: way you want it to do, then what you've learned
- 5:11Speaker 6: is if you hang in there, there's a light at
- 5:15Speaker 6: the end of the tunnel.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Okay, mission accomplished.
- 5:20Speaker 6: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 5:23Speaker 6: way you want it and it goes the opposite and
- 5:27Speaker 6: it turns out into a negative result, and the response
- 5:31Speaker 6: you were looking for is a no.
- 5:35Speaker 3: That's not final. That doesn't mean it's over. That doesn't
- 5:40Speaker 3: mean it's time to turn back.
- 5:42Speaker 6: It simply means that now you have learned a valuable experience,
- 5:49Speaker 6: you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You now know what not to do.
- 5:56Speaker 6: You are now because you know what not to do,
- 5:59Speaker 6: another step closer to getting it right. Listen to me,
- 6:05Speaker 6: it has to happen this way. You have to have
- 6:10Speaker 6: the rain in your life to get the flowers in
- 6:13Speaker 6: your life. You got to have the darkness in your
- 6:16Speaker 6: life to appreciate the sunshine in your life. You got
- 6:22Speaker 6: to have woes and worries to appreciate the joys. It
- 6:28Speaker 6: is merely a test. So when you get through failing,
- 6:34Speaker 6: and you get through stumbling, and you get through messing
- 6:37Speaker 6: it up, all that's getting you one step closer to
- 6:42Speaker 6: getting it right. Oh, my relationship ended. I'll never be
- 6:46Speaker 6: able to find another person like that. Not only will
- 6:50Speaker 6: you not be able, well, not only will you be
- 6:52Speaker 6: able to find a person like that, You can find
- 6:56Speaker 6: a person that's far better than that if you don't
- 7:01Speaker 6: give up. But see, sometimes you got to go through
- 7:04Speaker 6: the bad ones to get to the good ones.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Don't you?
- 7:09Speaker 3: Dare?
- 7:09Speaker 6: Dare ever give up? I don't care what happens to
- 7:12Speaker 6: you if you lose a loved one. And Lord knows,
- 7:16Speaker 6: I've lost some people I've loved dearly, with every inch
- 7:22Speaker 6: in me. I've lost my mother, my father, my brother,
- 7:28Speaker 6: and my best friend.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:31Speaker 6: I know people who have lost they children. Goodness, man,
- 7:35Speaker 6: I can't even imagine that, But they kept on going.
- 7:41Speaker 2: What you giving up for?
- 7:43Speaker 4: Oh?
- 7:43Speaker 2: I got you miss them, and I got you grieving,
- 7:47Speaker 2: But I got news for you.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Don't you let the devil make you think it's over
- 7:51Speaker 6: for you because somebody else ain't still here.
- 7:54Speaker 2: It was their time.
- 7:56Speaker 6: Now, I'm not trying to lessen the blow for you,
- 7:58Speaker 6: but I'm trying to get you up on your feet
- 8:00Speaker 6: so you can stop all this old woe is me
- 8:02Speaker 6: because the things that's happening to you, you're not the
- 8:05Speaker 6: first person that's happened to Come on, now, let's get
- 8:07Speaker 6: a grip. Let's wrap your mind around this thing. You
- 8:11Speaker 6: have got to move forward, if it's just in memory
- 8:14Speaker 6: of those people. I was on one of the commercial
- 8:17Speaker 6: breaks the other day and somebody asked me something, and
- 8:21Speaker 6: I forgot the question, but my answer was, I've always
- 8:24Speaker 6: wanted my mother and father to be proud of me,
- 8:28Speaker 6: and in the absence and their demise, I'm hoping just somehow, man,
- 8:33Speaker 6: that they watching me, that they see they boy, that
- 8:37Speaker 6: I'm down here, that I'm doing better, that I'm making
- 8:41Speaker 6: something out myself, that I'm loving my wife, that I'm
- 8:44Speaker 6: taking care of my kids. Just want my old man
- 8:47Speaker 6: to see that about me. You don't want my mother
- 8:50Speaker 6: to see I'm trying to get my life together over here.
- 8:54Speaker 6: You know, I'm saying, I'm trying to be a better person.
- 8:56Speaker 6: My mama was a Sunday school teacher for forty years.
- 8:59Speaker 6: She been praying for me for a long time. I
- 9:02Speaker 6: just hope, man, and that's all I'm doing, is just
- 9:05Speaker 6: hoping that they see me so they can be proud
- 9:07Speaker 6: of me.
- 9:08Speaker 2: See you, you, you, you you.
- 9:11Speaker 6: You got to understand that when you make these mistakes,
- 9:16Speaker 6: that when you fall and stumble and you get it
- 9:18Speaker 6: all so wrong, it ain't over for you.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Don't you dare dare dare ever? Give up?
- 9:24Speaker 6: Don't stop thinking, man, because it ain't happening just the
- 9:27Speaker 6: way you want it to. That it ain't meant to
- 9:30Speaker 6: be devil. He got so many tricks to deceive you.
- 9:34Speaker 6: You know why you're being tested right now, because there
- 9:37Speaker 6: is no testimony without the test. You got to go
- 9:42Speaker 6: through something. It's all good man telling you. Just wanted
- 9:46Speaker 6: to share that with you. Don't you give up out there.
- 9:48Speaker 6: I don't care what's happening. Don't don't. Don't don't get deceived.
- 9:52Speaker 6: The victory's coming, but you ain't gonna get it if
- 9:55Speaker 6: you quit. Hang on, y'all listening, Yeah, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:04Speaker 6: the boys, the girls as usual. Anybody that's a monkey trainer,
- 10:11Speaker 6: welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I love monkey training.
- 10:15Speaker 6: I just do what anybody that's ever climbed out of
- 10:19Speaker 6: a volkswagon And for Ringland Brothers at a circus in
- 10:23Speaker 6: the sixties, man got nothing but love for you. How
- 10:29Speaker 6: you rolling out there the day? Yeah, only in the sixties,
- 10:33Speaker 6: though I wasn't at the carnival after that.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I didn't go.
- 10:37Speaker 6: I don't really know what you was made after that
- 10:39Speaker 6: for them clowns in the sixties, all that was popping
- 10:42Speaker 6: ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yesterday, I had
- 10:46Speaker 6: an episode, man, where I wasn't feeling myself and I
- 10:49Speaker 6: was just sort of getting kind of down about the
- 10:52Speaker 6: way some things weren't kind of working out the way
- 10:55Speaker 6: I wanted them to. And I caught myself and I said, Steve,
- 11:00Speaker 6: fixed for this, Like you be telling everybody's gratitude. So
- 11:03Speaker 6: instead of talking about what you don't have, just go
- 11:07Speaker 6: on and tell God, start showing gratitude for the things
- 11:11Speaker 6: you do have. Once I started talking, I end up
- 11:14Speaker 6: talking so long I forgot something was wrong.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, pulling myself right out of that one in no
- 11:27Speaker 2: time flat. This is Steve Harf form on the show.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Y'all.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Gratitude affects your attitude, and that attitude affects your altitude.
- 11:35Speaker 6: It does not change, y'all. Let's get rolling. Shery Strawberry
- 11:38Speaker 6: calling for real. Mississippi Monica Junior boy all better known
- 11:43Speaker 6: as kill Spates and legend to growing legend of Nephew Tommy,
- 11:47Speaker 6: ladies and gentlemen, I am the one and only, make
- 11:55Speaker 6: no mistake about that, ladies, gentlemen, let's get it rolling.
- 11:58Speaker 2: JR. How you doing, man? I'm doing good.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Un you know what, UNC, Let me ask you this up.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Have you ever not wanted to go events with your wife?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Like party coming up?
- 12:08Speaker 5: And I ain't never had this happen, but she want
- 12:11Speaker 5: me to go, and I really don't want to talk
- 12:12Speaker 5: to these doctors and I.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Want WHOA you're talking about the company party? Yeah? Oh no,
- 12:17Speaker 2: you got to go?
- 12:19Speaker 7: What?
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah? You got to go? See this is I'm married
- 12:22Speaker 2: now and she got her hus and you have to go.
- 12:28Speaker 6: Yeah, and try to take that high pitchure ass boys
- 12:31Speaker 6: down so you don't mess the doctors up. So the
- 12:35Speaker 6: doctors don't think she's pretty high. I think she's mad
- 12:39Speaker 6: to a damn cartoon character. Listen to me, go in there,
- 12:44Speaker 6: put a suit on, and don't go in there being
- 12:46Speaker 6: all that damn funny because doctors and nurses they don't
- 12:50Speaker 6: have a good sense. They're all in there full of
- 12:54Speaker 6: themselves to they gets up. Oh yeah, you gotta wait
- 13:01Speaker 6: till they get drunk, and then they jokes be way
- 13:03Speaker 6: different from your patient jokes and stuff like.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Can I ask a Tommy question later on it're doing
- 13:12Speaker 2: the show? Can I do that? Absolutely? Because I'm going
- 13:15Speaker 2: I'm going through a limpit. I just want to I
- 13:16Speaker 2: got it.
- 13:17Speaker 6: And also, Junior, here's one other thing you want to
- 13:19Speaker 6: consider too. You gotta be careful to they jokes because
- 13:22Speaker 6: their jokes be a little tough when they get to drinking.
- 13:25Speaker 6: So you've been a patient more than anybody on the.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Wish we had time to hear one all right.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Coming up, coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,

- 14:29Speaker 6: We gavel yeah this morning in the most proquiffious.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Wee proquipious.
- 14:40Speaker 6: We denially down to the hypothesis of the conglomerate that boys,
- 14:50Speaker 6: knowing full well that I ostracize, ostrasized the dignitaries of Deuteronomy.
- 15:00Speaker 2: It went to the book now all through the Viticus.
- 15:07Speaker 6: And ruth our way down through the Psalms, knowing full well.
- 15:17Speaker 2: That all things are possible.
- 15:20Speaker 6: That's for those that are ingrained in the nurturing by
- 15:29Speaker 6: copper lips of the divine divinity. My word, pops, you
- 15:41Speaker 6: didn't go to the school of divinity I did usual
- 15:46Speaker 6: Texas A and m graduate. You don't do these types
- 15:50Speaker 6: of things. Stay all over there with them little crew
- 15:54Speaker 6: cut white boys. Let us begin with church complaints. Come
- 15:59Speaker 6: on on DC, all.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Right, Pastor, our brother Rodey and sister ever Lynn Brooks,
- 16:06Speaker 3: who have been married now for fifteen years. They stated
- 16:12Speaker 3: that they would never go to bed angry. Pastor, we
- 16:17Speaker 3: got a problem. These people have been awake since last Tuesday.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Is it possible that you can go by there and
- 16:24Speaker 3: make these people go to bed? They have not resolved
- 16:27Speaker 3: they issue, and they have been up since last Tuesday.
- 16:31Speaker 2: So I'm just asking if.
- 16:32Speaker 3: You would be able to go by there and make
- 16:35Speaker 3: these people go to bed, but they've been up a
- 16:37Speaker 3: long time.
- 16:39Speaker 6: No, Or won't be making that visit. My visit is
- 16:42Speaker 6: purely for the sick and shut edd, not for the
- 16:47Speaker 6: will and wide awake. But not where we're gone sick
- 16:52Speaker 6: and shut in, not weak. We're not going boy there.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Plus when they do, you know, it's it's a wonderful thing.
- 17:00Speaker 6: They have never go to bed angry. So they've been
- 17:03Speaker 6: up for two weeks now. Yeah, they hadn't mean but
- 17:06Speaker 6: one thing, what does that mean? They're still mad as hell?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Because they can't go to bed angry.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Ain't no mean to me walking into there, all right?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Brother, Now, brother Marcus Taylor is asking if the church
- 17:29Speaker 3: were to pay for him to get hypnotized. He wants
- 17:32Speaker 3: to completely forget his ex wife ever existed. And he
- 17:37Speaker 3: said two of his three kids should be added to
- 17:41Speaker 3: the UH to that request as well. So it's your compass.
- 17:44Speaker 3: But he wants us to pay for him to get hypnotized.
- 17:48Speaker 3: We are church, Yeah, we do not believe in hypnotism.
- 17:54Speaker 3: We believe in prayer. And then yeah, but now give
- 17:59Speaker 3: me give him some real main hood advice. You cannot,
- 18:05Speaker 3: are not, and will not be able to erase the
- 18:10Speaker 3: memory of an X. They are ingrained in your memory
- 18:14Speaker 3: bank forever, which is there to keep you from making
- 18:20Speaker 3: the same mistake twice. So now you're not gonna be
- 18:25Speaker 3: able to get hypnotized, criticized, or monopolized to get out
- 18:30Speaker 3: of this hill. You're gonna have to feel more ostracized
- 18:34Speaker 3: to get on until you realize that there is no
- 18:38Speaker 3: customization of the mind for your new realization.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Here about now. Only after JPJG get it like that,
- 18:54Speaker 2: let's keep it moving past.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I want you to buckle up on this and now
- 18:58Speaker 3: brother d White High is asking uh uh to sing
- 19:02Speaker 3: in the choir. Now I think he's probably a tenor,
- 19:07Speaker 3: but the tenor section is asking if he's uh. They
- 19:11Speaker 3: worried if he's gonna grab them in the middle of
- 19:13Speaker 3: a song. It's your cole Pastor, but they just a
- 19:16Speaker 3: little nervous by the white being in the choir.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I don't Lord today, I don't know not. We are
- 19:25Speaker 2: a church that is a church of Healy. We are
- 19:31Speaker 2: here for all peoples. We are to the.
- 19:37Speaker 6: The despondent confused, and that is what this church is about.
- 19:44Speaker 6: Brother Dwight is more than welcome to come, but now
- 19:48Speaker 6: we'll warn him though. You might want to stay away
- 19:51Speaker 6: from Deacon Biggie because Deacon Biggie is different. Yeah hell
- 19:57Speaker 6: hell so, let's not touch Deacon Biggie on no kind
- 20:02Speaker 6: of way.
- 20:03Speaker 2: He blessed him, yees loud, but he uses all his
- 20:08Speaker 2: for the proper evil of month.
- 20:12Speaker 6: Well what he's saying, his brother Biggie is the father
- 20:16Speaker 6: of of twenty six children.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, yeah, I don't think that who you want
- 20:22Speaker 2: to touch. That ain't who you want to touch. All right, Pastor,
- 20:27Speaker 2: As we keep moving on their own daycare.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Pastor sister Jada Pickett is asking if she can come
- 20:39Speaker 3: sell her book at our three pm service. And I
- 20:44Speaker 3: didn't know what to say to the woman. But it's
- 20:47Speaker 3: on you if you want to allow that. But she's asking,
- 20:50Speaker 3: can she sell.
- 20:51Speaker 6: K of course, of course this Jada can come, but
- 20:55Speaker 6: not doing service or everyone's welcome here to j will
- 21:00Speaker 6: can come. Anybody can come. Yes, you can bring your book.
- 21:05Speaker 6: You can bring a trunk full of books if you
- 21:08Speaker 6: want to, but you won't be with the service. Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 6: unless all the proceeds from your book go to the
- 21:14Speaker 6: jackpot jump all of them of the era.
- 21:18Speaker 9: Quardle coming up next, it is as the Celo, our
- 21:26Speaker 9: chief love Officer Steve Harvey in the building.
- 21:29Speaker 7: You're listening Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 21:34Speaker 7: of the hour. And entertainment news. A Georgia restaurant charges
- 21:38Speaker 7: extra for parents that can't control their kids.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Magic Johnson now.
- 21:43Speaker 7: Has joined the list of billionaire ballers, and in some
- 21:47Speaker 7: very sad news, Matthew Perry has passed away at the
- 21:51Speaker 7: age of fifty four. That's all coming up, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 7: Chandler being from friends, that is all coming up. And
- 21:58Speaker 7: right now it is you're gonna switch gears. Here to
- 22:02Speaker 7: ask the clo don in Tacoma Rights. I'm forty eight
- 22:06Speaker 7: years old and my husband is fifty eight. I am
- 22:10Speaker 7: an adrenaline junkie and I love water sports. On vacation recently,
- 22:14Speaker 7: I got a jet ski and rode with a single
- 22:16Speaker 7: guy that was on vacation with his friends. My husband
- 22:20Speaker 7: was so mad, even though he could see me. He
- 22:23Speaker 7: said I made him look weak.
- 22:26Speaker 10: What does he mean.
- 22:28Speaker 2: He made What he means is you made him look weak.
- 22:32Speaker 2: You jumped on the backs.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Wait, but ladies, really, don't you go on vacation with
- 22:35Speaker 6: your husband because you're in adrenaline junkie? Why you ain't
- 22:39Speaker 6: get your own jest ski. You're on the back of
- 22:41Speaker 6: jet ski with a single guy that was out there
- 22:44Speaker 6: with his friend. Married women don't do stuff like that.

- 29:51Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you. Right after this. You're listening.
- 29:56Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 29:59Speaker 7: A restaurant into CoA, Georgia, has gone viral for enforcing
- 30:02Speaker 7: a noise policy in their restaurant. To Coed Riverside restaurant
- 30:07Speaker 7: features a surcharge for quote adults that are unable to parent.
- 30:12Speaker 7: According to Today dot Com, four families eight together at
- 30:15Speaker 7: this restaurant earlier this month, and there were eleven children
- 30:19Speaker 7: ages three to eighteen with a group. When the checks
- 30:22Speaker 7: were given to each family, there was a fifty dollars
- 30:25Speaker 7: kid's fee added to each check. The restaurant owner allegedly
- 30:29Speaker 7: told the families that their kids were being too loud
- 30:32Speaker 7: and they kept running in and out of the restaurant.
- 30:34Speaker 7: When Today dot Com reached out to the restaurant for
- 30:37Speaker 7: a comment, and employee said, quote, we're not going to
- 30:40Speaker 7: comment on a policy we've had for years. We just
- 30:43Speaker 7: want to live in the woods and cook. Of course,
- 30:46Speaker 7: the families were white. So do you agree with the
- 30:50Speaker 7: restaurant that they should have a fifty dollars charge for
- 30:53Speaker 7: their kids for the parents if they can't control their kids.
- 30:58Speaker 6: I mean, it's this restaurant, but obviously he's had some
- 31:01Speaker 6: serious problems, and you know, people take their kids out
- 31:04Speaker 6: in public with no home training and then they got
- 31:07Speaker 6: to subject everybody to their kids, and that's unfair to
- 31:12Speaker 6: people that came in there.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Just to eat.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Why not just picture where kids are not allowed at
- 31:18Speaker 3: this particular restaurant. Why not just do it that way? Well,
- 31:22Speaker 3: I mean maybe it's a family adult restaurant.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Is that not possible. I don't know. No restaurants has
- 31:31Speaker 2: got that policy. I know restaurants where it's to it.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I don't know. If I'm sorry, yeah, have you completely
- 31:44Speaker 2: go back to bed?
- 31:46Speaker 3: Maybe this ain't you completely, But you know, the point is,
- 31:53Speaker 3: I think I think there are restaurants that are set
- 31:57Speaker 3: up that's not for kids.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Like it's some restaurants in Atlanta where they're bringing your kid.
- 32:02Speaker 6: Is a really good that the price of the menu
- 32:04Speaker 6: and the menu itself doesn't lend itself to children. Yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 6: but if you've got stuff on that it lends itself
- 32:11Speaker 6: to a full family, then you got to allow full
- 32:13Speaker 6: families to come in here. But you also have the
- 32:16Speaker 6: right to have policies in your establishment, and then if
- 32:19Speaker 6: you don't want to obey the policies, then you find
- 32:21Speaker 6: your somewhere else.
- 32:22Speaker 2: But right now they say, we just we just want
- 32:24Speaker 2: to live in the woods and cook.
- 32:26Speaker 1: And cook love that. Okay, let us do us all right?
- 32:36Speaker 1: Moving on, moving on to Forbes magazine.
- 32:41Speaker 7: Now, according to Forbes, Urvin Magic Johnson is the fourth
- 32:44Speaker 7: athlete to become a billionaire, with an estimated words of
- 32:47Speaker 7: one point two billion dollars. He joins Michael Jordan, Lebron James,

- 32:59Speaker 7: a krative professional career as an investor in professional sports teams, Starbucks,

- 34:08Speaker 8: I can't believe that.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I can't let that boy. I can't let that boy.
- 34:12Speaker 2: That boy, that boy can't see me like this. He can't.
- 34:15Speaker 6: There's no way that boy can see me like that. No, no,
- 34:19Speaker 6: I argue with one hundred percent. That's what he needs
- 34:21Speaker 6: to do. I'm gonna keep my family.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I keep my family too long.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you ain't shut up. You ain't got that yet,
- 34:30Speaker 2: I know, But but I.

- 35:27Speaker 2: On both people.
- 35:28Speaker 6: Well you got it first of all. Dog, you gotta

- 46:24Speaker 2: Am I correct?
- 46:25Speaker 4: Right?

- 54:49Speaker 7: it could be yours.
- 54:50Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:53Speaker 2: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:56Speaker 7: Thank you, ne you subject the most emotional man I've
- 54:59Speaker 7: ever ever met. Dear Stephen Shirley. My sister set me
- 55:03Speaker 7: up with her new doctor that just moved to our city.
- 55:06Speaker 7: He's thirty eight and divorced with a fourteen year old son.
- 55:10Speaker 7: His son lives with him full time, so we have
- 55:12Speaker 7: included his son and a lot of our dates. It's
- 55:15Speaker 7: hard to get to know a man when his attention
- 55:17Speaker 7: is split between me and a teenager. So I suggested
- 55:21Speaker 7: that his son spend time with my sister son, who
- 55:23Speaker 7: is eleven years old. The doctor didn't like that, and
- 55:26Speaker 7: he assumed that I didn't want his son around. He
- 55:29Speaker 7: called me and said his feelings were very hurt, and
- 55:32Speaker 7: he asked why I don't like his son.
- 55:35Speaker 1: I didn't know how to answer that, because I.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Do like his son.
- 55:39Speaker 7: He went on and on about this for about three days,
- 55:43Speaker 7: and at one point he cried when he was telling
- 55:45Speaker 7: me how proud he is to be a single dad.
- 55:49Speaker 7: So now his son goes everywhere with us, and whenever
- 55:52Speaker 7: the doctor doesn't get his way, he starts crying or
- 55:56Speaker 7: he sits in pouts like a two year old. I
- 55:59Speaker 7: asked him he was submissive with his ex wife, and
- 56:02Speaker 7: he said he was not submissive, but he let his
- 56:05Speaker 7: wife lead because she was more worldly. He gets emotional
- 56:09Speaker 7: when he talks about his ex wife because he feels
- 56:11Speaker 7: terrible for getting full custody of his son. I told
- 56:15Speaker 7: him that his ex wife must be unfit to be
- 56:17Speaker 7: a mom. He didn't address it that day, but the
- 56:21Speaker 7: next day he told me I should never talk about
- 56:23Speaker 7: his ex wife like that, and he teared up as
- 56:26Speaker 7: he reminisced about the day his son was born. I
- 56:29Speaker 7: told him I need space and time to sort out everything.
- 56:33Speaker 7: And I haven't spoken to him all week. I wonder
- 56:35Speaker 7: if he's crying over me like he cried over his
- 56:38Speaker 7: ex wife. Is it weird for this grown man to
- 56:40Speaker 7: be so emotional? Does he want his ex wife back
- 56:43Speaker 7: so they.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Can be a family. What's going on? Well, some craziness
- 56:47Speaker 1: is what's going on. Yeah, this is weird.
- 56:49Speaker 7: I mean, I don't know anyone who cries as much,
- 56:52Speaker 7: and not even babies. And what's he crying about?
- 56:56Speaker 1: What's he crying for?
- 56:57Speaker 7: Because you wanted alone time with him, that's perfectly normal
- 57:01Speaker 7: if you're in a relationship and trying to get to
- 57:03Speaker 7: noake someone. You did suggest that he spend time with
- 57:07Speaker 7: your nephew. It doesn't mean that you don't like his son.
- 57:11Speaker 7: I don't even know where he got that from.
- 57:13Speaker 1: No one said that. But why are you still dating
- 57:17Speaker 1: this guy?
- 57:18Speaker 7: If you know, if this things are bothering you when
- 57:20Speaker 7: we all know why you're dating him because he's a doctor,
- 57:24Speaker 7: all right, So because he's a doctor, you put.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Up with these emotional outbursts. You have to get to
- 57:30Speaker 1: the bottom of this.
- 57:31Speaker 7: You gotta address this with him so you guys can
- 57:34Speaker 7: figure this whole thing out.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I mean, maybe he.
- 57:37Speaker 7: Does want to be with his ex wife, but you
- 57:39Speaker 7: won't know unless you talk about it and find out
- 57:42Speaker 7: why all this crying is taking place. Crying like this
- 57:45Speaker 7: and pouting is not what fully grown, mature men do.
- 57:50Speaker 7: This has got to stop, and you got to find
- 57:52Speaker 7: out why.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Steve, Well, I know.
- 57:54Speaker 6: The answer to this whole letter because I think she's
- 57:57Speaker 6: leaving a part out that she doesn't understand it, and
- 58:00Speaker 6: this is what's causing her the most problem. The title
- 58:02Speaker 6: of this letter is the most emotional man I've ever met.
- 58:06Speaker 6: Let me tell you something I've learned. A man can
- 58:09Speaker 6: be one of two things. He can be an emotional
- 58:12Speaker 6: man that's not a problem, or he can be a
- 58:16Speaker 6: sensitive man that's not really a problem. Now, any excess
- 58:20Speaker 6: of either one of those is if you accept excessively emotional,
- 58:25Speaker 6: that's a problem. If you're excessively sensitive, that's a problem.
- 58:29Speaker 6: But when you are a man and you are both
- 58:34Speaker 6: you are emotional and sensitive. Houston, we have a problem.
- 58:42Speaker 6: And this is Houston, may Day. This is John Glenn
- 58:47Speaker 6: on the moon. This is this dude on the space
- 58:51Speaker 6: Walk and the line broke. Houston, we have a problem
- 58:55Speaker 6: because this man. You think it's emotion, but he's sensitive
- 59:00Speaker 6: two and that's an ugly combination in a man. It's
- 59:05Speaker 6: an ugly combination if you're a woman.
- 59:09Speaker 2: In excess.
- 59:10Speaker 6: It's okay that women are emotional and sensitive because women's
- 59:14Speaker 6: senses are heightened, well more advanced than most men. I know,
- 59:20Speaker 6: they just are. Women are just more sensitive and emotional
- 59:24Speaker 6: to things, but they keep it in check. And that's
- 59:26Speaker 6: what makes women beautiful. Well, when those two qualities are
- 59:30Speaker 6: on the man, this ain't beautiful no more. It's beautiful
- 59:33Speaker 6: to date and emotional and a sensitive woman. It's a
- 59:37Speaker 6: beautiful thing. It's not a beautiful thing todate an emotional
- 59:40Speaker 6: and sensitive man. And that's the problem with this whole letter.
- 59:44Speaker 6: I normally don't address the letters this way, but I
- 59:47Speaker 6: decided to take that approach. So as I go through
- 59:50Speaker 6: the letter, I can show you the problem. He's thirty eight,
- 59:53Speaker 6: he's divorced, got a fourteen year old son, his sons
- 59:55Speaker 6: live with in fourteen, so you including them a lot
- 59:58Speaker 6: of your dates, and then you say it's hard to
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: get to know it man when you got to spend
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: time between him and the teenager. So you suggested that
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: the son sometimes hang out with your sister's eleven year
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: old boy. Now that sound like that wouldn't be a problem,
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: But oh no, mister sisters called you and said his
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: feelings was hurt, and he asked.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Why I don't like his son? Hold of, don't where
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: you going?
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: This?
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Don't mean I don't like your son.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: So now.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: I didn't know how to answer that. Well, you should
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: have answered it by saying, no, I love your son.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: It's just that I'm also trying to get to know
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: his father, and I'd like to spend some quality time
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: with his dad if we're going to try to build
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: something together.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: That's all the answer should have been.
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: But I don't know if that would have fixed mister
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: emotional sensitivity because he didn't got his feelings hurt, because
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: then he went on about this for three days. Hold up, Pardoner,
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: What man drags on a potential argument for three days?
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Who do that?
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: Hang on, Steve, hang on, we'll have part two of
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: Today's strawberry letter, subject the most emotional man I've ever met.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: The subject the most emotional man I've ever met.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna do this quickly.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: I told you all I don't like to answer these
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: letters like this, but decide to do this for the
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: first time. Here's a problem in this Letter's not that
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: he's emotional. He's emotional and sensitive. It's okay if you
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: have an emotional man, or it's okay if you have
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: a sensitive man. But any excess of an emotional man,
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: or any excess of a sensitive man, and you have
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: a problem. Any excess in that inner woman would be
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: a problem too. But on a man, this really don't
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: look good. So this guy is he's not only emotional,
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: he's sensitive too, and that is what the problem we have.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: So let's go through the letter right quick.
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: You're dating this man who's a doctor, he has a
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: fourteen year old son, he's a single dad, and you're
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: trying to get to know him, and everywhere time y'all
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: go somewhere.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: He's thirty eight and divorced.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: He includes his son on a lot of our dates,
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: and then you hard to get to know the man
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: when his attention is split between you were a teenager.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: So one day she suggested that the son spend some
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: time with her sister son, who's eleven years old. The
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: doctor didn't like that, and he assumed that I didn't
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: want his son around. He called me and said, my
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: feelings was hurt, and how come you don't like my son?
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: I didn't know how to answer that. Well, your answer
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: should have been known. I absolutely adore your son. It's
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: just that I'm also getting to know his father and
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: I need some alone time with his dad so I
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: could figure out how this is gonna work as a family.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: That would have been the perfect answer. But because you
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: say you do like it so well, he went on
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: and on about this for three days, and at one
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: point he was crying when he's telling me how proud
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: he was.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: But who you don't like my son? I told you
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: my son and me. He stayed with me. He ain't
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: got nowhere to go because I'm a single dad, like
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: that he stayed with me.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: You don't want him.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Come with us? He can't drive. I can't just leave
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: him on here.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: He he fourteen. He can't stay home by himself. What
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: fourteen year old can't stay home by they damn self?
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: Because I raised him, man, I know good. Hell well,
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: if I leave him at that house by myself, he
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: gonna just like his daddy because I didn't raised.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: My son to be by himself. Cause I don't like
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: being my myself. Cause when he get dog out this here,
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: you you don't want him to come over here?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: What day is? This is day two? I got one
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: more day this here, because I need to do this
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: for three days.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: You should have left his punker ass right there right
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: then and there, should have left his little soft tender
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: ass right there.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: So anyway, so now.
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: His son goes everywhere with us, and whenever the doctor
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: gets don't get his way, he starts crying or sitting
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: and pout like a two year old. So now you
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: tell him something he don't want to hear, he start pouting.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Crime.
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: So then you asked him a very adult female question,
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: well you submissive to your wife? He said no, I
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: was not submissive, but I let my wife lead because
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: she more worldly.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: What we're hold of one you let your wife lead.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: I don't understand that one.
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: Dog ain't nobody leading me nowhere nobody And you can
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: call it sexist if you want to, but I'm not
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: following now. I'll take your advice. My wife made a
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: lot of sense on a lot of stuff. I've listened
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: to her advice. But you ain't finna lead me though
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: she He let her lead because she mote worldly. What's
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: your punk ass? So anyway, he gets emotional when he
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: talk about his ex wife because he feel terrible for
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: getting full custody of his son. I told him his
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: ex wife must have been unfit to be a mom.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: And I'm telling you right now, when they give the
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: father full custody of a child, something wrong because they
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: no court in the world do that. They do not
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: take the child from the mother. Because every man knows this.
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: Every child needs a mother. Every man know that that
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: mama she critical. Dads are critical too, but that mama,
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: that's that's a real hole. So he said she must
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: be unfit.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: You don't talk about her like that.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: You know, my wife want no unfit brother, I asked Una,
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: why would I ask somebody.
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: Unfit to bad be you gonna talk about her like that?
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: You shut up talking about anybody. She was beautiful.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: They just took the baby from her cause she ain't
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: want me on him. That's all in one.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: God, every line.
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: So when you told her that the ex wife must
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: be on fitt to be a mom, he ain't addressed
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: it that day. But the next day, don't you ever
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: talk about my ex wife like that? And he teared
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: up as he reminisced about the day my son was born.
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: I remember the day I was standing there at this
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: put it out, and she had her legs up and
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: his head popped out.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Standing there. Then his shoulders came through. I said, oh god, here.
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: Lad, and I got, oh god, here, I gotta believe
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: all this, all the bills and stuff, and come with him.
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: I don't think i'm mad enough to. So you told him,
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: you said, I need some space. So you ain't talking
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: to him all week. And you wonder if he crying
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: over me like he crying over his ex wife. No,
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: he'd call his ex wife.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Yes, what you what? She ain't called me? Didn't week
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: ain't called me?
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: We Is it weird for this grown man to be
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: so emotional. Does he want his ex wife back so
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: they could be a family.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: No, his ex wife don't want him if an ex
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: wife was more worldly than him. The reason she left
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: him because she found out he was spineless. He's emotional insensitive,
- 1:07:23Speaker 6: and you have an emotional insensitive man. If I were you,
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: I would cut my losses right now and get away
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: because you're not finna fix him. He needs therapy and
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: he needed daddy.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: All right.

- 1:11:14Speaker 8: Morning show, all.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: Right, Steve.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: This is from Mary Ann and Biloxi. She says, my youngest.
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: Son was married for almost three years, and the day
- 1:11:24Speaker 7: after his wedding he got caught in a hotel room
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: with his side chick. It was the same hotel whereas
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: wedding reception was held. My daughter in law wanted to
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: divorce him, but some kind of way he convinced her
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: to stay. So in my mind, my daughter in law
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: knew who she married. I was shocked to hear that
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: he had cheated again after Labor Day, and this time
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: she left him and their divorce was final. Last week
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: I got a text from our church secretary that said
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: my daughter in law was looking for a place to
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: have her wedding. I called my daughter in law and
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: she told me it was none of my business. My
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: son loves her and he's sick behind this. She's planning
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: to have a Christmas wedding. How could she move on
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: so quickly with someone new.
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: Wait a minute, Wait a minute, Wait a minute, you don't, lady,
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: have you skipped over the cause and effect?
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Have you just skipped over that? Now? This could be
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: a rebound. She could be acting too soon, But how
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: could she?
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: And don't nobody give a damn about your son being hurt?
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: He really loves her because he didn't act like it.
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: The day after the wedding, you at the same hotel
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: with your side chit and then you get caught again.
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: After Labor Day, she got a divorce and it's final.
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: Now see here's a part the timeline that the lady's
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: leaving out. You don't know how long it took to
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: get the divorce and then she getting married in Christmas. Okay,
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: let's just say it's one year. That's her damn business.
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: Maybe she found the right one, because guess who wasn't
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: the right one? Your raggedy ass son Now what you
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: mad at this girl for? How could she wait a minute?
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: Where is your letter about your boy? Where the how
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: could you lie about your son?
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: How could she?
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: No?
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: How could he? And then how are you got the
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: nerve to write us talking about how could she do this?
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: He really loves her?

- 1:14:09Speaker 7: got that one. We have time for one more, Steve.
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: This one is from Carol and two and Tyler. She says,
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: I drive for a ride share company part time, and
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: I got into it with a drunk passenger that tried
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: to steal my cigarettes.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I put her out on the side of the road
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: and she got bit by a dog.
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: It's a small bite, nothing major, But she is threatening
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: to report me to my job if I don't pay
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: her doctor's bill.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Is she bluffing? Should I pay the bill?
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: No?
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: All you got to do is tell them exactly what happened.

- 1:15:00Speaker 6: story now, she said she was going to choke you
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: with some piano while while you was driving. You stopped
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: your card let her out. She was so belligerent. Then
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: you was driving off and you looked in your mirror
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: and she was being belligerent to the dog. So the
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: dog bit her ass I saw that. But she was
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: beating the dog.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 1:15:28Speaker 6: Yeah, this sounded like the dog's owner was a white lady.
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yes, I know how to build this story white.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: Yeah, she's gonna miss to get life. She had to

- 1:21:27Speaker 3: Living on this cany two bags and that's enough. You
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: got to feed the whole neighborhood with this kid.

- 1:23:37Speaker 5: just got this house, so now I got to participate
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: in the neighborhood. I don't really want to do this,
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: but my wife just told me that I have to
