- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and its stubbing good it st to
- 0:25Speaker 1: mother to please, I don't join Jo. You gotta turn you,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out, the turnout, turn the water, the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got come come on your thing. Huh, I shall well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvy Man got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Wow man, how good has God been
- 2:13Speaker 1: to me? You know? Today? Let me get right to
- 2:16Speaker 1: it because I'm I'm kind of feeling this today, and
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's just quite a few of you
- 2:22Speaker 1: who go through the same things today. Today was just
- 2:26Speaker 1: a little tough morning for me because I didn't want
- 2:29Speaker 1: to leave home yesterday. You know, I wanted to stay
- 2:32Speaker 1: home a little. I'd just gotten home, you know, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: gotta go again. And sometimes, you know, just the weight
- 2:39Speaker 1: of all that you have to do just gets on
- 2:41Speaker 1: you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel like doing it today. Huh.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know, I'm just talking to those who feel this
- 2:51Speaker 1: way every now and then. And I'm assuming that would
- 2:53Speaker 1: be everybody, because I don't know nobody who can just
- 2:56Speaker 1: ply through this thing without having those days. Well, what
- 3:00Speaker 1: do you do when it gets hard to stay up?
- 3:04Speaker 1: What do you do when it gets hard to be positive?
- 3:09Speaker 1: What do you do when it seems like things aren't
- 3:12Speaker 1: happening for you fast enough or in the time frame
- 3:15Speaker 1: that you thought it was going What do you do?
- 3:19Speaker 1: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:22Speaker 1: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:24Speaker 1: those days. Because I had one of those days yesterday.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It's just a tough day. I really can't explain. It's
- 3:30Speaker 1: nothing really in particular bad happened. It's just I think
- 3:37Speaker 1: the weight of all that's going on started to feel
- 3:43Speaker 1: heavy to me. And so what do you do when
- 3:48Speaker 1: when you have days like that, when it's hard to
- 3:50Speaker 1: be positive, when it's hard to stay up? Okay, here's
- 3:53Speaker 1: what I had to start doing this morning. Now I
- 3:55Speaker 1: haven't completed it. Can I just be real with you.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I haven't completed it, but I am processing it out
- 4:04Speaker 1: because I know what to do. You know, been there,
- 4:07Speaker 1: done that, I didn't had that pain before. I know
- 4:09Speaker 1: what to do. You know, if I sprain my finger,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I know what to do now. You know the first
- 4:13Speaker 1: sprain I had, O Lord, I thought it was broke.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I thought I got me handac half. But now if
- 4:18Speaker 1: I sprain my finger, I know what to do. So
- 4:20Speaker 1: since I've been in this position, in this hole so
- 4:22Speaker 1: many times before, and God has always gotten me through it,
- 4:26Speaker 1: I decided I've got to start the process today. Want
- 4:30Speaker 1: to hear are some things Now, I'm gonna get to
- 4:33Speaker 1: the big one last. And one of the things I
- 4:36Speaker 1: do is I remember the plan, sit down, and I
- 4:42Speaker 1: consciously think about the goals I've set. I go over them. See,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I've got mine down on an iPad so I can
- 4:49Speaker 1: pull them out anywhere I am and pull them up.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And I've got two lists that I've made. I've got
- 4:55Speaker 1: a list of things that I know I can accomplish
- 4:58Speaker 1: if I just keep working hard, and if some couple
- 5:01Speaker 1: of things just fall into place that I can see.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Then I got a list of things that I'm planning
- 5:07Speaker 1: on accomplishing. And then I have a second list. And
- 5:11Speaker 1: the heading of this list is called only God can
- 5:14Speaker 1: help me now. And on this list it's things that
- 5:18Speaker 1: I'm aspiring for or things that I'm hoping to that
- 5:22Speaker 1: in order for them to happen, I absolutely have to
- 5:26Speaker 1: have God's help. That's my favorite list. It's the list
- 5:33Speaker 1: that I have of the things that I don't see
- 5:36Speaker 1: no way it can happen. I'm just operating on faith
- 5:40Speaker 1: and the hope that God hear me, and so sometimes, man,
- 5:45Speaker 1: when you gotta when I have this list of who
- 5:49Speaker 1: only God can help me, now, that list is stuff
- 5:52Speaker 1: that I cannot see. I'm just operating on faith that
- 5:56Speaker 1: God is so much bigger than me, that he's so
- 5:59Speaker 1: much more capable than I am, that I can actually
- 6:03Speaker 1: acquire some things in my life, as He's proven to
- 6:06Speaker 1: me time and time again up to this point, that
- 6:08Speaker 1: He's willing to do for me. If I'm willing to
- 6:10Speaker 1: just give him some of my life. That's the only
- 6:13Speaker 1: way I can't explain my existence today. You know, I
- 6:18Speaker 1: began the conversation with my wife, how do I write
- 6:20Speaker 1: a book that becomes so wildly successful? That would be God.
- 6:26Speaker 1: That's only God, Because if you can plan to sit
- 6:29Speaker 1: down and write a wildly successful book, I'd have Benden
- 6:32Speaker 1: sat down and did it, and so would you, So
- 6:35Speaker 1: that would be God. How it got purchased to become
- 6:39Speaker 1: a movie when that was not my intent when I
- 6:41Speaker 1: wrote the book at all. Again, that would be God, right,
- 6:46Speaker 1: there has to be, because if I can't explain it
- 6:50Speaker 1: and it is by no doing of my own, then
- 6:53Speaker 1: who did it? So when I get down in days
- 6:56Speaker 1: like this, I remember the goal. I remember the plan.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I remember the journey. I think about of all the
- 7:02Speaker 1: things God has bought me to how did I even
- 7:04Speaker 1: get to this point. Yeah. I might be having a
- 7:07Speaker 1: little bummer of a day. Yeah I was a little
- 7:09Speaker 1: down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms is off, whatever they
- 7:12Speaker 1: want to call it. Yeah, I'm just having one of
- 7:14Speaker 1: those days. I feel a little bit heavy. I need
- 7:17Speaker 1: a vacation real bad. I need some time off to
- 7:20Speaker 1: just go and regenerate. But right now, man, I ain't
- 7:23Speaker 1: got that. So guess what I do. I gotta start
- 7:26Speaker 1: remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: gotta start thinking about all the things that God has
- 7:32Speaker 1: done for me and how He has bought me this
- 7:34Speaker 1: far and the blessings that I have instead of what
- 7:37Speaker 1: I don't have. And that's what I'm in the process
- 7:39Speaker 1: of doing this morning, and on the commercial breaks, I'm
- 7:42Speaker 1: gonna pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go over
- 7:44Speaker 1: my two lists, and I'm gonna read my little list
- 7:46Speaker 1: of what I think I can accomplish, and I'm gonna
- 7:49Speaker 1: really read that only God can help Me now list,
- 7:51Speaker 1: because that's the list that's big. That's the part where
- 7:54Speaker 1: I've been telling y'all, I said, quit telling God how
- 7:57Speaker 1: big your problems are, and start telling your problems how
- 8:01Speaker 1: big your God is. See. And that's why I got
- 8:04Speaker 1: to sit down to do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
- 8:11Speaker 1: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a second,
- 8:16Speaker 1: because sometimes it feel like you're running on a treadmill
- 8:19Speaker 1: and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it feel
- 8:22Speaker 1: like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when you get
- 8:24Speaker 1: that feeling, sometimes you got to stay still. And then
- 8:28Speaker 1: when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the devil win.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You're in a fight, mam. I told you this. Now
- 8:36Speaker 1: you're in a fight now, So trying to get you
- 8:39Speaker 1: to get on that positive train so he can get
- 8:41Speaker 1: you off the faith train. So God's delivery package. That's
- 8:44Speaker 1: coming to you built on your faith that you can
- 8:47Speaker 1: He can shake your faith and get you to thinking
- 8:49Speaker 1: negative and then he wins. See, so when you start
- 8:52Speaker 1: feeling negative, just know that that's the other force trying
- 8:55Speaker 1: to throw you off track. And when you get through
- 8:57Speaker 1: it all that here is the key, the big one.
- 8:59Speaker 1: You want me tell it to you. You got to pray, man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: You got to pray. You gotta take it to God.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You gotta say, hey, God, look I'm having one of
- 9:06Speaker 1: these days. I need your help. I got business to
- 9:09Speaker 1: take care of. You got blessings in front of me.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You got stuff you to ship to me. You got
- 9:13Speaker 1: blessings and packages that's on the way. I need to
- 9:16Speaker 1: be sitting on Faith streets so I can receive the
- 9:18Speaker 1: delivery when you get there. What I don't want to
- 9:21Speaker 1: do is be it on be on doubted Way or
- 9:25Speaker 1: or lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway or some
- 9:30Speaker 1: street like that, and the package keep going by. I
- 9:33Speaker 1: need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street so
- 9:36Speaker 1: when you drop that package down to me, I can
- 9:38Speaker 1: go on and get it. You feel me. You got
- 9:41Speaker 1: to pray. You got to stay still, you gotta fight
- 9:44Speaker 1: to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan. You gotta
- 9:47Speaker 1: go over the goals. Come on, man, God and brought
- 9:49Speaker 1: you too far, Come on, pick yourself up today. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: talking to Steve Harvey this morning. Hope y'all didn't mind.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, it is upon us to
- 10:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey morning show has begune all day, baby, all day. Man.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm grateful I spend some time telling God that this morning.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I had a couple of situations last night, but you know,
- 10:14Speaker 1: it is what it is. But once again, I would
- 10:17Speaker 1: like to make this announcement in front of the crew.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Let me get him in here first, the wonderful Shirley Strawberry,
- 10:23Speaker 1: the wonderful Cali Pharrell, the very quiet mouth of the South.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Junior and Moa said, wah you French.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Now just for just for that tick, Stephane, I would
- 10:43Speaker 1: like to make the announcement that my COVID test was
- 10:46Speaker 1: a false positive. Tested three separate companies. After that, everybody
- 10:54Speaker 1: that took the test from this one company tested positive.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Everybody and everybody went and retested at independent facility and
- 11:04Speaker 1: everybody became negative. I had to retest twice though, so
- 11:08Speaker 1: I had to go back to the show for their
- 11:10Speaker 1: own test, because they don't give it them what you
- 11:12Speaker 1: tell them. They got their own. And so I'm actually
- 11:14Speaker 1: I've never had COVID. I didn't have any symptoms. I
- 11:17Speaker 1: came in here and I claimed victory anyway, and so
- 11:20Speaker 1: therefore it is. And I just want to be I
- 11:23Speaker 1: want to proudly say that the Hitlands theory it's still kicking.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I'm back on it. I've been vaccinated boosted, but I
- 11:38Speaker 1: attributed to thirty eight years of eating Hitlands, and the
- 11:45Speaker 1: residue from that has avoided me the virus entirely. The
- 11:50Speaker 1: theory is still alive. Long lived chittling juice, Long lived
- 11:57Speaker 1: kitling juice, so long, really long little chiling juice. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you know a lot of people long live the Queen,
- 12:10Speaker 1: Long live chitling juice. If the shortage of child I
- 12:18Speaker 1: swear I know this this holiday season, this thing, well,
- 12:23Speaker 1: I think it's too late. I think mine is compiled
- 12:26Speaker 1: from the thirty eight years. These new chiplans, you can
- 12:31Speaker 1: get them pre clean, Okay. They eyes came in the
- 12:37Speaker 1: twenty pound bucket and you had to do the dirty
- 12:39Speaker 1: work yourself. Yeah, that that's why I think the extra anyway,
- 12:44Speaker 1: that's why that's one to say that praise God, giving
- 12:46Speaker 1: out it to God. Now pass everything is good. U
- 12:51Speaker 1: want everybody, Uh, keep everybody in prayer. That out today.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And remember even though even though the number one reason
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm not a minister and cannot go to the ministry,
- 13:07Speaker 1: it's because of the sick and shutty in this. That
- 13:10Speaker 1: is the number one reason AH will never be voted
- 13:16Speaker 1: into the ministry. On with the show, please, that is
- 13:21Speaker 1: not the crimble one morning. I think that's the number
- 13:26Speaker 1: one reason I haven't been called yea, yeah, all right,
- 13:32Speaker 1: coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, the junior.
- 13:38Speaker 1: The junior is in for the nephew would run that
- 13:40Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 13:44Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it is time now
- 13:47Speaker 1: to run that prank back with junior in for the nephew,
- 13:50Speaker 1: which you got Junior. Thank you, Shirley. Once again, I'm
- 13:53Speaker 1: in for nephew Timmy to do these pranks, but he's
- 13:56Speaker 1: not here. But I'm gonna talk about this later on
- 13:58Speaker 1: the day. I'm I got. I wrote a poem by
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm gonnaell you all about it. But right now, here's
- 14:01Speaker 1: the must have son. Just don't get it. I'm upset today.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Oh please, hello, hello, I'm trying to reach Vanessa. Please
- 14:13Speaker 1: I as My name is Robert. I'm the one of
- 14:17Speaker 1: the owners. You know, my wife Michelle. We own the bay. Yes, yes, yes,
- 14:22Speaker 1: can I help you? Okay, we've been uh. I think
- 14:24Speaker 1: we've had your son, Malik, probably close to a year now.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm all right, yes you have is everything? Okay? So
- 14:30Speaker 1: everything's fine, Everything is fine. I don't think we have
- 14:33Speaker 1: a problem that we can't clear up. Um, I have
- 14:36Speaker 1: a question for you. Have you been noticing anything different
- 14:40Speaker 1: about Malik? Um? Like concerning hygiene at all? Hygiene? No,
- 14:45Speaker 1: not that I can be called. What are you talking about? Okay?
- 14:48Speaker 1: How old is Malik? He's too? Okay, Well, we all
- 14:52Speaker 1: sooner have come across a little glitch here that we're
- 14:55Speaker 1: gonna try to take care of here at the at
- 14:57Speaker 1: the daycare. Actually my wife didn't. I told her I
- 15:00Speaker 1: would make the phone call and leave her out of it.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I know you see her every day once. Yeah, but
- 15:04Speaker 1: what glitch are you talking about? What? What is this glitch?
- 15:07Speaker 1: I'm sorry, glitch? What is this glitch that you want
- 15:10Speaker 1: to talk about I'm confused. Okay, Well, actually we're having
- 15:13Speaker 1: is it seemed like every day here lately for the
- 15:17Speaker 1: last two months, Malik has been you know, very musty.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You know, he hasn't been really sweety, but just real musty. Okay,
- 15:25Speaker 1: you clearly have the wrong child because I give my
- 15:28Speaker 1: son a bath every night, and most Martin is before
- 15:31Speaker 1: he leaves to school, I give him another bath again.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm pretty positive you have the wrong child. No, man,
- 15:36Speaker 1: your son is Malik, right, and he's two years old.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You guys have been here with us right close to
- 15:41Speaker 1: a year now, correct, Yes, and okay, and he's a
- 15:45Speaker 1: cute little kid with the curly hair. I know exactly
- 15:48Speaker 1: which one is. So what I'm what I'm saying to
- 15:50Speaker 1: you is that we are having problems. He's just he's
- 15:54Speaker 1: just reaching, you know, he's real musty. Okay, you know
- 15:57Speaker 1: what my son does not reek. I don't know what
- 15:58Speaker 1: child you're talking about, but you're not talking about my child.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I just told you and make sure that he gets
- 16:03Speaker 1: a bath every night, So that's not my child. My
- 16:05Speaker 1: child is very clean. Okay, Well, what hang on, Vanessa,
- 16:08Speaker 1: What I'm trying to get you to understand is I'm
- 16:10Speaker 1: trying to. This is why my wife didn't want to call. Okay,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and I'm glad I'm actually the one that made the call.
- 16:15Speaker 1: What we need to do. This is what I'm gonna do.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I'm just gonna try a little experiment for the next
- 16:20Speaker 1: month or so. Experiment. No, no, I'm sorry. Well what
- 16:23Speaker 1: do you mean experient? What kind of experiment? Well, what
- 16:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put some male deodorant
- 16:28Speaker 1: on him for the next well just for the next month,
- 16:31Speaker 1: and we'll see how it plays out. No, no, no,
- 16:32Speaker 1: you're not You're not gonna put anything on my child.
- 16:34Speaker 1: That's not gonna happen. Okay, Well, man, I'm trying to.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to fix the problem here. I just wanted
- 16:39Speaker 1: to call it. It It doesn't have a problem. I'm already
- 16:41Speaker 1: told you that my son is clean. You're not gonna
- 16:43Speaker 1: put any idiment on him, and if you do, it's
- 16:45Speaker 1: going to be a problem. Do you understand me? Okay, man,
- 16:48Speaker 1: I'm not trying to have an argument with you. What
- 16:50Speaker 1: I want you to know is I'm not trying to
- 16:52Speaker 1: have either. But you're trying. You talked about putting Theodora.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna child you. You can't do that. I'm not
- 16:57Speaker 1: gonna have to happen in Please don't make me have
- 16:59Speaker 1: to come now to that school for you and your wife. Okay, man, listen,
- 17:03Speaker 1: we're gonna have to do something about your child. Your
- 17:05Speaker 1: child is musty, okay, And you're sitting here getting an
- 17:08Speaker 1: attitude with me, and I'm trying to let you know
- 17:10Speaker 1: your child is much nonsense. Maybe you're the one that
- 17:13Speaker 1: is musty. Maybe you and your wife are musty. My
- 17:15Speaker 1: child is not musty. I keep telling you that I
- 17:17Speaker 1: bathed him every night, which pointed that you don't you understand.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I understand everything that you're saying. Maybe it's the soap,
- 17:23Speaker 1: maybe something that is not taking effect. I'm not sure. Okay,
- 17:26Speaker 1: maybe he doesn't smell as because I don't know what
- 17:28Speaker 1: child you are not using there or my child. Do
- 17:33Speaker 1: I need to come down there for you with the
- 17:35Speaker 1: comps and suit your entire establishment. You don't want that
- 17:38Speaker 1: to happen staying away from my child? Are you crazy?
- 17:41Speaker 1: You know? Matter of fact, great, my son. Man, you're
- 17:43Speaker 1: satisfied your son is in there with the rest of
- 17:44Speaker 1: the kids. They're playing, you know, today is the first
- 17:47Speaker 1: day I sprayed a little bit of meldy odor and
- 17:49Speaker 1: under how that works. You look, Cheryl, can you come
- 17:54Speaker 1: up for me for a couple of minutes. I'm gonna
- 17:57Speaker 1: right now. I'll be there within the hour. Because you
- 17:58Speaker 1: must be crazy. I mean, he sprayed my son smell.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I just sprayed a little bit of the older and honor,
- 18:03Speaker 1: just to see if we can get the commission to
- 18:06Speaker 1: do that. And I keep telling you, I said, there's
- 18:08Speaker 1: nothing wrong with my child, and you took it up
- 18:10Speaker 1: on your choc to go and spray my child and
- 18:11Speaker 1: you weren't about to do it out you think I'm
- 18:14Speaker 1: reading right now? Okay, well, what are you coming here for?
- 18:17Speaker 1: The boy is? You're the son of the leak? Is fine?
- 18:20Speaker 1: Why are you coming here? You know he's curling that fine?
- 18:22Speaker 1: If you've gone around spread, how don't you space because
- 18:26Speaker 1: clearly you're smelling and riaking and funky as hell. I
- 18:29Speaker 1: didn't give you no child. I'm gonna. I promise you.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I promise you. But I'm an ah y'all because you
- 18:36Speaker 1: were crazy. Okay, let me say this man. Your son
- 18:40Speaker 1: is Musty. He's been king for the musty. You know
- 18:46Speaker 1: what I ain't even trying to hear you because you're
- 18:48Speaker 1: you're you're clearly crazy. How are you going around spraying
- 18:50Speaker 1: people's kids? It's my child? Did you smell be ever? Chiding?

- 20:15Speaker 1: me call her. You don't know, is Malik nice and clean?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Milik is always nice and clean and smelling right, So
- 20:27Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell you were talking about.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I was like, got my child? You got the wrong child?
- 20:31Speaker 1: You are about to get it. You don't even know.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Oh man, Vanessa, you gotta tell me one more thing.
- 20:37Speaker 1: But what's the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 20:40Speaker 1: show in the lake, the one and only Steve running
- 20:46Speaker 1: in shower? All right, thank you, Junior. Coming up next,
- 20:53Speaker 1: it is asked the CLLO with Chief Love Officer Steve
- 20:56Speaker 1: Harvey in the building, ready for your love questions. Right
- 20:59Speaker 1: after this, you're listening. At the top of the hour,
- 21:05Speaker 1: comedian Gary Owen clears up why he got a divorce.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Magic Johnson makes it clear that he did not donate
- 21:12Speaker 1: blood recently, and Nick Cannon, all congratulations are in order
- 21:16Speaker 1: again he's back in the news with baby number. What
- 21:19Speaker 1: tend sir? But right now we'll get to all that.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But right now it is time to ask the CLO.
- 21:31Speaker 1: All right, CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey, Here we go,
- 21:34Speaker 1: Sharie and little Rock says, I've been dating a man
- 21:37Speaker 1: for a month and he's already saying he's falling in
- 21:40Speaker 1: love with me. He wants to make love so he'll
- 21:43Speaker 1: know if his feelings are real. And I am lusting
- 21:47Speaker 1: for him too, But I want to wait. Will he
- 21:50Speaker 1: dump me if I don't give him a taste? He's
- 21:57Speaker 1: falling in love with you? Yeah, I love you already.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Well let's see, Yeah, let's see if he really loves
- 22:06Speaker 1: you wants to rush y'all trying to spend the rest
- 22:09Speaker 1: of your life together. See, y'all got a quick breaking
- 22:12Speaker 1: this thing down in these thirty day time frames, y'all
- 22:15Speaker 1: living on If your goal is to spend the rest
- 22:17Speaker 1: of your life together, you don't have thirty days to
- 22:20Speaker 1: find out why. Yeah, they've only been dating a month,
- 22:24Speaker 1: two more months, Just wait till you ready. Don't let
- 22:27Speaker 1: him talk you into that. Right when he first asked
- 22:32Speaker 1: for your number, that's what he wanted, and that was
- 22:34Speaker 1: before he had love feelers or anything. Come on, tell
- 22:39Speaker 1: the truth. I'm ready, surely all right. Felice in Germantown says,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I was in a grocery store and I saw my
- 22:47Speaker 1: aunt's husband buying flowers. He didn't see me. And I
- 22:52Speaker 1: stopped by to see my aunt that evening and my
- 22:54Speaker 1: uncle wasn't home. I didn't see any flowers either. Should
- 22:59Speaker 1: I mind? My bil business are spilled mine? Yo, damn business.
- 23:04Speaker 1: You don't know what that man was doing. He could
- 23:07Speaker 1: have been buying in flowers and lay on a grave somewhere.
- 23:11Speaker 1: You don't know. Stay out your damn business. So damn
- 23:19Speaker 1: what it's why your ass ain't got nobody now? And
- 23:23Speaker 1: why don't she speak to her? To her uncle at
- 23:26Speaker 1: the store, she could have said hi, no, no, no,
- 23:29Speaker 1: because she wanted to be cookie have said hey uncle, yeah, yeah,
- 23:35Speaker 1: how you doing? Yeah? For sure? All right? Moving on
- 23:39Speaker 1: to LaToya in Colorado Springs, LaToya says, my husband and
- 23:43Speaker 1: I share an account that we use for miscellaneous things.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I want to take one thousand dollars to go to
- 23:50Speaker 1: my cousin's wedding in Vegas. My husband wants a new
- 23:53Speaker 1: barbecue grill for eight hundred dollars instead, shouldn't he get
- 23:58Speaker 1: a cheaper grill so I can go to Vegas? Hell no,
- 24:02Speaker 1: you're talking to a barbecue man. Hell no, ain't getting
- 24:05Speaker 1: no cheaper griel so you can go to Vegas. Why
- 24:08Speaker 1: don't you not go to Vegas summer? Old? I can
- 24:14Speaker 1: only go to Vegas in the summer. What is that? Well,
- 24:17Speaker 1: I'm just saying, both of y'all need to set your
- 24:20Speaker 1: ass down. Why is you going to Vegas? And what
- 24:24Speaker 1: is he trying to grief? Mister? Whole damn summer season?
- 24:27Speaker 1: She wants to go to her cousin's wedding. It's more important,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I think. Listen, When is Vegas a bad idea? Ya?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Hold y'all, every married couple has to have for accounts. Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 1: so you got to have your No, they have a
- 24:46Speaker 1: mutual account that they share for miscellaneous stuff, for miscellaneous,
- 24:52Speaker 1: not a miscellaneous been to create a conflict. Yeah, you
- 24:56Speaker 1: need one bank account where both of y'all money go
- 24:58Speaker 1: into the pay household. That's the shared account. Cover your
- 25:03Speaker 1: life expensive. You need one account that both of you
- 25:06Speaker 1: all have to sign for. That's a savings account. Put
- 25:09Speaker 1: one percent, five percent, ten percent of your money. Every week,
- 25:12Speaker 1: something got to go in that account. I don't care
- 25:14Speaker 1: if it's ten dollars. And the only way that money
- 25:17Speaker 1: could come out it requires two signals. That's the second account.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Then you need a personal account and he needs a
- 25:24Speaker 1: personal account. Out of that joint miscellaneous money, you decide
- 25:28Speaker 1: how much goes into your personal as an allowance and
- 25:31Speaker 1: what goes into his personal as an allowance. And then
- 25:35Speaker 1: if you got a thousand dollars in your account, you
- 25:37Speaker 1: can fly where you want to fly. He can't say
- 25:40Speaker 1: nothing to you about it. And if he want to
- 25:41Speaker 1: buy eight hundred dollar grill, you can't say nothing about it. Now,
- 25:45Speaker 1: obviously y'all ain't making that much money where y'all got
- 25:47Speaker 1: to put this thing together. So now you have the delimma. Yeah,
- 25:52Speaker 1: now I'll tell you what he bet not you. He
- 25:55Speaker 1: bet not buy that grill. And your hands don't go
- 25:57Speaker 1: to that wed because every time you flying up, every
- 26:05Speaker 1: time you fire that grill up, she gonna start cooking
- 26:08Speaker 1: your ass. Can he starts seizing the chicken, and she'll say,
- 26:13Speaker 1: every time it's a fire, put some water on it,
- 26:16Speaker 1: put it out. Oh, you get to do what you
- 26:18Speaker 1: want to do. I missed the wedding, and I saw
- 26:21Speaker 1: on the picture that everybody had a good time. Yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 1: but we eat barbecue. Though I don't even like your chicken.
- 26:28Speaker 1: He can always you can always get a grill. Let
- 26:31Speaker 1: her go to the wedding. Damn. Yeah, all right, Karma
- 26:35Speaker 1: and uh Monroe, this is the last one, Steve Karma
- 26:37Speaker 1: and Monroe says, my son's My son stays with my
- 26:41Speaker 1: mom for two hours after school, and I pay her
- 26:44Speaker 1: weekly for this school year. She told me that I
- 26:47Speaker 1: have to reimburse her if she feeds my son. I
- 26:50Speaker 1: dropped off a pack of hot dogs and buns, and
- 26:53Speaker 1: now she's mad. Why should I pay extra? Damn? How
- 26:57Speaker 1: old is the boy? She didn't say, But he's in school.
- 27:00Speaker 1: He's a school age Well this must be he must
- 27:03Speaker 1: be a big boy. Pays her weekly and then her
- 27:08Speaker 1: mom boy, Yeah, well you gotta really you gotta really stank.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Grandmoma don't want to feed the grand back because she
- 27:17Speaker 1: knows how to stretch it unless she ain't been well
- 27:21Speaker 1: this week. We have it, rice, just right? No beans?
- 27:27Speaker 1: Ready for your snack? Right snack? Grandma? Ready for dinner? Right?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Want a little something to take home with you when
- 27:38Speaker 1: your mama, come right right. This next week is potato week,
- 27:50Speaker 1: and next the week after that, we haven't let us week.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Why can't that all go together? Ye, we're having celery stocks. Yeah,
- 27:59Speaker 1: she's gonna all his ass out. Yeah, I don't know
- 28:03Speaker 1: why she can't keep him free. So she pays them
- 28:07Speaker 1: to keep to keep them. She wants them. Yeah, she
- 28:11Speaker 1: wants the money for herself. And then it's your money
- 28:14Speaker 1: for food. Huh. She want all profit because because the
- 28:17Speaker 1: little boys. But she grandmama, you got Fomo cookies oreole
- 28:27Speaker 1: because I ate a roll of oils before. But the
- 28:31Speaker 1: daughter says, why should she pay extra if your son's
- 28:34Speaker 1: eating you know, I mean it's a good thing that
- 28:36Speaker 1: you dropped the hot dog in the buns. Right, Well,
- 28:38Speaker 1: don't pay tell you mama you're not paying. Come outside
- 28:42Speaker 1: to the last be on the port. Yeah, this is
- 28:44Speaker 1: a strange relationship. You give mama some more money for
- 28:48Speaker 1: your baby. Yeah, unless asking to go to McDonald's for
- 28:56Speaker 1: a happy meal or something like that. Yeah, all right,
- 29:00Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Thank you, Ciello.
- 29:03Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You're listening to Stay Harvey Morning show. Well last year
- 29:11Speaker 1: you recalled to median Gary Owen and his wife Kenya
- 29:15Speaker 1: divorced after eighteen years of marriage. Kenya accused Gary of cheating,
- 29:20Speaker 1: and on a recent radio interview, Gary wanted to set
- 29:23Speaker 1: the record straight. He shared that he left Kenya first,
- 29:26Speaker 1: not the other way around. He said that he filed
- 29:29Speaker 1: for divorced first and it all came down to him
- 29:31Speaker 1: being unhappy. Gary said, I left. I filed first. I
- 29:35Speaker 1: made the phone call saying I don't want to be married.
- 29:38Speaker 1: When everything came out, I just stayed quiet. But this
- 29:42Speaker 1: whole narrative was I got caught out there, she left me.
- 29:46Speaker 1: That's not what happened. Gary said he and Kenya have
- 29:48Speaker 1: been together for twenty three years, married for eighteen and
- 29:53Speaker 1: he had left her for a few times before, but
- 29:56Speaker 1: he went back. He says, this last time he left,
- 29:58Speaker 1: he was just unhappy. Thanks. You say, when you gotta
- 30:01Speaker 1: called cheating, Yeah, I mean it's like this, so what though? Yeah, yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 1: that's what I say. See these guys, now, I don't
- 30:11Speaker 1: understand the IRV. Goody all this. You know these people, man,
- 30:19Speaker 1: they come out the woodwork with these stories and tell nobody.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Nobody asked you. Gary who cares? Dog? What difference do
- 30:29Speaker 1: it make? Take the blame for it? Just whar? Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 1: it's all good. I left her, So what m because
- 30:39Speaker 1: I was unhappy? Okay, dog? You know, ain't nobody asked couple?
- 30:44Speaker 1: She unhappy? Man? Y'all dudes, man, keep y'all prefer you
- 30:49Speaker 1: ain't gonna joke about it. And then you're a comedian
- 30:51Speaker 1: you can write jokes about it. Yeah, I got I
- 30:54Speaker 1: filed first. Okay, do that don't make you more desirable?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Don't still? Don't nobody want? What do it look like
- 31:06Speaker 1: if you said that got the two war? What are
- 31:08Speaker 1: you looking like? You were hearing me on that talk?
- 31:10Speaker 1: Know what they was? And all this hill? Yeah, I
- 31:14Speaker 1: messed up. It was my bad. I eat it. You know.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I joke about it every now and then. But I
- 31:19Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to say about No, I left him
- 31:21Speaker 1: first and all this hill. Yeah, No, you're not gonna
- 31:25Speaker 1: have kids. You have kids? Yeah, and that's you're right.
- 31:32Speaker 1: You let your ego get involved. Yeah, you're right, all right.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Moving on to NBA legend Magic Johnson. Magic shut down
- 31:41Speaker 1: these rumors that he donated blood to the American Red
- 31:44Speaker 1: Cross after a social media picture of him giving blood
- 31:47Speaker 1: went viral with the caption. Earlier today, NBA legend Magic
- 31:52Speaker 1: Johnson donated some of his blood to the Red Cross
- 31:54Speaker 1: to help underprivileged communities help fight COVID nineteen. Magic jumped
- 31:59Speaker 1: onto her to dispel the rumor. He tweeted, I'm aware
- 32:03Speaker 1: of the false story circulating the internet. Circling the internet,
- 32:07Speaker 1: and to be clear, I have never donated blood. The
- 32:11Speaker 1: photo that was used was from a documentary Magic did
- 32:15Speaker 1: back in twenty and twelve. All right, everybody clear, now,
- 32:19Speaker 1: yeah he didn't. Magic Johnson has been one of the
- 32:22Speaker 1: best proponents for this virus and bought more awareness to
- 32:28Speaker 1: it than anybody. People need to stop. Man, he's a
- 32:32Speaker 1: responsible guy. He's been at the forefront of this fight
- 32:36Speaker 1: every since he contracted HIRA, and the dude has done
- 32:44Speaker 1: so much for the awareness and the cause of it.
- 32:47Speaker 1: He wouldn't do That's not who he is. Man. People
- 32:50Speaker 1: do No, it's not people be doing stuff. They just
- 32:53Speaker 1: be wrong and accurate. Yeah, yeah, just lie. Just because
- 33:01Speaker 1: it's on social media does not mean it's true. You
- 33:04Speaker 1: can't believe everything you reach Loan, what are you talking
- 33:10Speaker 1: about that? We gotta move on to this next story
- 33:15Speaker 1: because this two is unbelievable. Uh, this is baby news.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Baby news, Okay, seems like the only baby news we
- 33:23Speaker 1: ever hear, especially lately, involves Nick Cannon. Right, Okay, so
- 33:28Speaker 1: Nick is having yet another baby. This time it's a boy. Uh.
- 33:33Speaker 1: This will be his tenth baby, his tenth child. Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 1: Nick broke the news. He broke the news. On Wednesday,
- 33:44Speaker 1: he posted a video of the maternity shoot with his
- 33:46Speaker 1: ex Brittany Bell. Uh. He and Brittany already have two
- 33:50Speaker 1: children together, and they are now expecting a baby boy.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Nick captioned the video time stopped and this happened. He
- 33:58Speaker 1: got teen. When it was these women I was coming,
- 34:04Speaker 1: Nick called me, ask me, I just wonder how you
- 34:06Speaker 1: do it? Well? Is there something about Nick that women
- 34:08Speaker 1: can't resist? They gotta have his baby? Is there something
- 34:12Speaker 1: about him? I mean, we love Nick Cannon, but is
- 34:15Speaker 1: there something about him that we don't know? Well, he
- 34:18Speaker 1: don't like condom? Okay, we know that, like birth controlling. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 1: we know that those are things that we do know. Yeah,
- 34:29Speaker 1: but I mean I don't know, you don't. I mean, listen,
- 34:34Speaker 1: all of these children are young. Yeah, I don't. I
- 34:38Speaker 1: don't care who you are. Women are very very shrewd
- 34:42Speaker 1: and very understanding of their pecking order. And a woman
- 34:46Speaker 1: is not gonna less let her child by you feel
- 34:50Speaker 1: any less than any other. So all I'm saying is
- 34:55Speaker 1: the amount of child support that's going to pay out,
- 35:00Speaker 1: And I'm telling you, man, it's it's astronomic. It's astronomical
- 35:05Speaker 1: between child support and taxes. It's not just about that
- 35:10Speaker 1: he needs to be there to be present. That's the
- 35:13Speaker 1: thing that gets me. What about the kids? I meant
- 35:17Speaker 1: a lot of planes, a lot of faces, a lot
- 35:20Speaker 1: of a lot of stuff gonna get missed unless we
- 35:24Speaker 1: just do a zoom call for everybody. Yeah, your visitation's
- 35:30Speaker 1: gonna have to be zoom call. Yeah, all right, uh,
- 35:37Speaker 1: thank you? Um all right. Coming up into episode, coming
- 35:41Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after. Would you allow a teacher
- 35:44Speaker 1: to discipline your child by paddling them at school? That's
- 35:47Speaker 1: a question. No, we'll come back to talk about right
- 35:50Speaker 1: after this. Yeah, you're listening to. Cassville School District in
- 35:57Speaker 1: South Missouri is sent shockwaves throughout the city with a
- 36:01Speaker 1: highly controversial announcement that they are reinstating get this, they
- 36:05Speaker 1: are reinstating corporal punishment for the students okay. Underneath the
- 36:12Speaker 1: new policy, school district employees will be allowed to punish
- 36:16Speaker 1: students by paddling them, which is considered to be the
- 36:19Speaker 1: last resort after other forms of discipline have failed. Okay,
- 36:24Speaker 1: the last resort. Parents will have the option to opt
- 36:28Speaker 1: in to the new policy or decide against it. The
- 36:31Speaker 1: school superintendent said that parents were tired of having their
- 36:35Speaker 1: child their children suspended, so this is the option that
- 36:40Speaker 1: they chose to go with. And here's the question, would
- 36:43Speaker 1: you agree to corporal punishment? Would you agree to this punishment? Guys? Well,
- 36:48Speaker 1: Carla Hansel child, No, no, no, you are not paddling
- 36:56Speaker 1: my child. That's not happening. You're not gonna put your
- 36:59Speaker 1: hands on my child. No, not not this day in age.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I know we kind of went through that when we
- 37:04Speaker 1: were growing up. But you know what, I just think
- 37:11Speaker 1: I think it's asked backwards. Where is this that now, Shirley,
- 37:15Speaker 1: this is in South Missouri? Still that it doesn't make
- 37:19Speaker 1: any sense. Listen, we're going about this the wrong way.
- 37:24Speaker 1: We're in the Amen school shootings now, we're in that age. Patling,
- 37:30Speaker 1: ain't what we need to put back in school. If
- 37:34Speaker 1: you want to put something back in school, you need
- 37:36Speaker 1: to put prayer back in the school. I would be
- 37:40Speaker 1: much happier if they put prayer back in school and
- 37:42Speaker 1: instead of a line something where it came from anyway anyway,
- 37:53Speaker 1: instead of letting some ignorant person decide whether my child
- 38:01Speaker 1: needs to be spanked or not, I'll do that at
- 38:04Speaker 1: the house. See what they're trying to do is cut
- 38:06Speaker 1: back on these suspensions, right, you ain't even crying the problem.
- 38:12Speaker 1: The problem is the unruly student. Yeah, they're saying that's
- 38:16Speaker 1: the last resort the past. So no, you keep sending
- 38:19Speaker 1: these unruly ass kids up to the school and then
- 38:22Speaker 1: they keep suspending them. Now you want to give them
- 38:25Speaker 1: permission to beat them. Don't make no damn sense. When
- 38:30Speaker 1: the real problem is these unruly ass kids. You don't
- 38:34Speaker 1: have no laws in place to govern them. We keep
- 38:38Speaker 1: sending these under raised kids into these uh school teachers hands,
- 38:45Speaker 1: and now they got to be counselors, mothers, babysitters, security
- 38:52Speaker 1: to go to school to pay to teach. Y'all want
- 38:56Speaker 1: too much? Man, Now you got to decide who get
- 38:58Speaker 1: corporate part Nachi, George and Jerry Man get out of here.
- 39:02Speaker 1: That's too much. Yeah, it's spending these ignorant ass kids.
- 39:06Speaker 1: All right? Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour. Uh,
- 39:10Speaker 1: Steve Junior has written a poem and title it doesn't
- 39:13Speaker 1: hurt to ask. It don't hurt to ask, and he
- 39:15Speaker 1: wants to share it when we come back. You're listening,
- 39:23Speaker 1: all right, So that moment has arrived, Steve. It's time
- 39:27Speaker 1: for a poetry moment. Please do the honors, ladies and gentlemen.
- 39:30Speaker 1: He's here. He's effectually referred to as Jay Rapp. Jay Rapp,
- 39:37Speaker 1: I am, and this is an acronym. Jay Rapp stays
- 39:40Speaker 1: for juniors, raggedy ass poems, Asian gentleman, Jay Rapp. Thank you?
- 39:47Speaker 1: You know I was at my counselor are you well?
- 39:49Speaker 1: Thank you? I had my counseling session yesterday, you know,
- 39:52Speaker 1: and I have I've been bothered by Yeah. Yeah, I
- 39:55Speaker 1: go every Tuesday thirty. I went to my count session yesterday. Yeah.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I've been I've been working on myself, you know, and
- 40:01Speaker 1: so I've been knowing you should I've been knowing you
- 40:04Speaker 1: should have needed to go, yeah, to take Uncle Steve.
- 40:08Speaker 1: And I've been feeling some type of timmy not here,
- 40:11Speaker 1: and I'm doing these pranks and stuff. And you say it.
- 40:13Speaker 1: If you won't more, you gotta do more. So Tyler,
- 40:16Speaker 1: this poem is it don't hurt to ask, because here
- 40:19Speaker 1: it is. It don't hurt to ask. Good morning to
- 40:25Speaker 1: all of us that came to work. I have a question.
- 40:29Speaker 1: I might sound like a jerk, but I have to
- 40:32Speaker 1: introduce the pranks. For four straight days I took care
- 40:36Speaker 1: of the task and didn't ask for any praise. Did
- 40:39Speaker 1: y'all notice that? Yeah, yeah, I have stepped up to
- 40:42Speaker 1: fulfill an important task. You probably will say hell no,
- 40:46Speaker 1: but it don't hurt to ask. Don't get at me
- 40:49Speaker 1: or curse me out, but uh a little money was
- 40:52Speaker 1: sure helped me out. I've been doing Tommy's pranks every
- 40:55Speaker 1: single day. A matter of fact. Why he's not at
- 40:58Speaker 1: work this week anyway, I just give some of this
- 41:02Speaker 1: money's for the task. I know you're gonna say no,
- 41:05Speaker 1: but it don't hurt the ask the end? Can I
- 41:07Speaker 1: get a raid? All? I want to know? I just won't.
- 41:13Speaker 1: It could be it could be forty dollars because I
- 41:17Speaker 1: have I have a point. One poem deserves a point.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Wait a minute, we go. I do appreciate you, Junior
- 41:29Speaker 1: and all that you do. But when a man goes down,
- 41:34Speaker 1: somebody steps up, and that up is on you. You
- 41:38Speaker 1: are the only one that can do these praises, right,
- 41:44Speaker 1: You're the only one who sits here and understands him.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Day and night you come to work. You don't do
- 41:51Speaker 1: nothing but ask me two damn questions a day. So
- 41:55Speaker 1: you don't think we're gonna have you introduced these pranks
- 41:58Speaker 1: every time they play. You must have lost your mind
- 42:03Speaker 1: if you think this ain't so. But let me ask
- 42:07Speaker 1: you this question. Well you gonna go. So now we
- 42:14Speaker 1: sit here talking about some more money for me. But
- 42:18Speaker 1: you know good Hell well, I couldn't have asked the
- 42:21Speaker 1: other three. So now, lord Junior, here we are. My
- 42:31Speaker 1: poems is long because I can't go far because he's
- 42:38Speaker 1: I make these things up as I go. Yeah, but
- 42:41Speaker 1: they always turned out pretty good. That's for damn show.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Now let's get back to what I started to say.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Why his little lads got the nerd asked me for
- 42:55Speaker 1: more pay? But here we go, I thought, right, none
- 43:00Speaker 1: of this, damn I know it is. But he should
- 43:06Speaker 1: have put his pen down because asking me for money
- 43:12Speaker 1: it just ain't right. Yeah, damn Junior, how long did
- 43:17Speaker 1: it take you to write this poem last night. So
- 43:23Speaker 1: now as I get ready and prepared to close, really,
- 43:28Speaker 1: i'll leave you with this information that everybody knows. You
- 43:33Speaker 1: can't ask me for nothing that ain't down. And for
- 43:38Speaker 1: me to give you a raise and not give the
- 43:41Speaker 1: ladies it would be unfair. Oh no, oh, you just
- 43:51Speaker 1: gonna do me. Oh you spend all night right in
- 43:57Speaker 1: your little ragged hand for you try to castle told me.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Thank you therapist, Thank you Junior, Thank you Steve for
- 44:07Speaker 1: the clap back coming up next. Oh wow, Junior, you
- 44:11Speaker 1: gotta work the prank phone call right after you're listening
- 44:17Speaker 1: to show coming up at about four minutes after the hour.
- 44:24Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today and the subject is
- 44:27Speaker 1: I'm not gonna like this title a little pooh ran
- 44:32Speaker 1: off my boo. Okay, gross you. We'll get into that
- 44:41Speaker 1: in just a little bit, but right now it is
- 44:43Speaker 1: time for Junior to get to work around here and
- 44:47Speaker 1: for the nephew. And uh, today's prank phone call? What
- 44:50Speaker 1: you got Junior? All right? You know I ain't getting
- 44:54Speaker 1: paid for this, but I'm just gonna say it. Today's
- 44:56Speaker 1: prank phone call is my tip. Yeah, I would like
- 45:00Speaker 1: a tip. But I ain't getting it to my tip.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Come on, hello, hello, I'm trying to reach mister mister
- 45:10Speaker 1: Kenney's Yeah, this is how you doing. I'm actually calling

- 45:21Speaker 1: over here the other night. Yeah, I'm about two nights ago. Yeah,
- 45:24Speaker 1: I was your food. I was a service. Um, everything
- 45:28Speaker 1: was good. Um, I don't. I don't have any complaints.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I always enjoy when I come there. Um, I don't.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I never got a phone call from you. Got everything

- 45:48Speaker 1: that my service was was was pretty good enough to
- 45:51Speaker 1: par Yeah? Like I said, man, everything was excellent every
- 45:54Speaker 1: time I come there. The food is great, The service

- 46:44Speaker 1: have I gotten a call from you guys? So how
- 46:46Speaker 1: did you get my phone number? Well, I'm just giving

- 48:31Speaker 1: that worked for some tip, that you would know how

- 54:27Speaker 1: all right? Subject a little pooh ran off my boo.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty three year old single
- 54:34Speaker 1: female and I was dating a thirty five year old
- 54:36Speaker 1: man that ghosted me. We met and it was like
- 54:40Speaker 1: no one else existed in our lives. We went on
- 54:43Speaker 1: a trip two weeks after we started dating, and he
- 54:46Speaker 1: spoiled me and I spoiled him. He was at my
- 54:49Speaker 1: house or I was at his house every night. He
- 54:52Speaker 1: was the best lover and that deepened our connection. This
- 54:56Speaker 1: went on for four months and I was thinking he's
- 54:59Speaker 1: the one. Then I got food poisoning and had to
- 55:03Speaker 1: be hospitalized for two days. I had been going to
- 55:07Speaker 1: the bathroom and throwing up before I drove myself to
- 55:10Speaker 1: the hospital. My man rushed to the hospital to see me,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and he told me he'd go to my house to
- 55:16Speaker 1: get a few toiletrees and get a change of clothes
- 55:18Speaker 1: for me. He came back to the hospital with a
- 55:21Speaker 1: small bag for me, and then he ghosted me. I
- 55:25Speaker 1: called and called and started worrying that something something happened
- 55:29Speaker 1: to him. I saw that he posted a picture on
- 55:32Speaker 1: Instagram and that was odd to me. Then he blocked
- 55:35Speaker 1: my number, and he blocked me on IG. So I
- 55:38Speaker 1: wanted some answers. I went by his job and waited
- 55:43Speaker 1: for him to come out for lunch. He walked past
- 55:45Speaker 1: me and said he's glad I was better, and he
- 55:48Speaker 1: dismissed me just like that. I had met one of
- 55:52Speaker 1: his co workers before, so I messaged him on ig
- 55:55Speaker 1: to see if he knew what was up with my boyfriend.
- 55:58Speaker 1: He responded right away and said that my boyfriend couldn't
- 56:02Speaker 1: handle how messy my house was and the way I
- 56:06Speaker 1: left the bathroom was not ladylike at all. I told
- 56:10Speaker 1: his coworker that I was very sick and I did
- 56:13Speaker 1: not think about cleaning up the toilet before I went
- 56:15Speaker 1: to the hospital. He said, a nasty woman is a
- 56:19Speaker 1: turn off. How can my boyfriend be so shallow? Is
- 56:22Speaker 1: that a sign that he is not the man for me?
- 56:24Speaker 1: Or should I keep trying to reconnect with him. No,
- 56:28Speaker 1: don't try to keep connecting with him. Don't try to
- 56:32Speaker 1: reconnect with him. It's over at this point, it's over.
- 56:35Speaker 1: He came and saw something he didn't need to see,
- 56:38Speaker 1: and that's it. It's done. I mean, you know the question,
- 56:44Speaker 1: is your house normally a mess? And I'm gonna say no,
- 56:47Speaker 1: because you already said in the letter you guys spent
- 56:49Speaker 1: time over each other's house every night, so obviously it
- 56:53Speaker 1: was clean. Then I mean, if he doesn't understand that
- 56:56Speaker 1: you were very sick and you did the best you
- 56:59Speaker 1: could do before driving yourself to the hospital, then he No,
- 57:03Speaker 1: he's not the one for you. I don't know what
- 57:06Speaker 1: kind of condition you left the house end. It sounds
- 57:08Speaker 1: like you didn't flush and it was just a mess
- 57:10Speaker 1: in there. But whatever you left in there, it was
- 57:13Speaker 1: too much for his week's stomach to handle. So you
- 57:16Speaker 1: got to leave him alone. Please leave him alone. I
- 57:21Speaker 1: mean his coworkers. His coworker was right. Men don't like
- 57:25Speaker 1: nasty women, just like women don't like nasty men. And
- 57:29Speaker 1: the point is you're not a nasty woman, or he
- 57:32Speaker 1: wouldn't have been with you for four whole months. The
- 57:35Speaker 1: problem is he can't unsee that bathroom, whatever was going
- 57:39Speaker 1: on in there. He cannot unsee that you were very,
- 57:42Speaker 1: very sick. And I don't know what he doesn't get
- 57:46Speaker 1: about that. Food poisoning is serious business. You can't even
- 57:49Speaker 1: control what's going on with your body and what's coming
- 57:52Speaker 1: in and going out. You know, you can't control that.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Your case sounds like it was very sincere, very severe.
- 58:00Speaker 1: It landed you in the hospital. So all I gotta say,
- 58:02Speaker 1: if he doesn't understand that, let him go. He is
- 58:05Speaker 1: shallow and it sounds like he's moved on anyway, So
- 58:08Speaker 1: whatever with him by Steve Wow that bathroom, though, I
- 58:14Speaker 1: want to share something with his young lady in this letter,
- 58:17Speaker 1: just thirty three year old as dating is thirty five
- 58:19Speaker 1: year old. First of all, he's looking for something. He's
- 58:23Speaker 1: at that age where he trying to work through it
- 58:25Speaker 1: and he's looking at something. When y'all met you alway inseparable.
- 58:29Speaker 1: It's like the only two existed in this word. We
- 58:32Speaker 1: went on trips two weeks after you started dating. He
- 58:35Speaker 1: spoiled me and y'all spoiled him. He was at my
- 58:38Speaker 1: house or I was at his house every night. He
- 58:44Speaker 1: was the best level and that deepende connection. This went
- 58:49Speaker 1: on for foremost, and I was thinking, he's the one.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Here we go, here we go, keyword. I was thinking
- 59:00Speaker 1: he's the one. He did not tell you you other one.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Ain't nobody in his letters said we fell deeply in love.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Ain't nobody talking about a commitment. I will tell you
- 59:13Speaker 1: for in fact, it wasn't that deep for him yet,
- 59:16Speaker 1: because he was still trying to assess everything. I know,
- 59:22Speaker 1: you all over each other's house every night. But the
- 59:26Speaker 1: thing of it is, you knew when he was coming,
- 59:28Speaker 1: and he knew when he was coming, so you had
- 59:31Speaker 1: time to make your place presentable, as did he. But
- 59:37Speaker 1: then it came along. Everything was going good, and you
- 59:41Speaker 1: got food poisoning and had to be hospitalized for two days.
- 59:47Speaker 1: That's a severe case. Yeah. I'd been going to the
- 59:52Speaker 1: bathroom and throwing up before I drove myself to the hospital.
- 59:55Speaker 1: My man rushed to the hospital to see me and
- 59:57Speaker 1: told me he'd go to my house pick up a
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: few tall trees and change of clothes for me. When
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: he came back to the hospital with a small bag,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: he ghosted me, hold on right there back, Yes, what
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the hell in that bath? I knew it all right.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Coming up with twenty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: have part two of Steve's response to today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: The subject a little pooh right off, my boo. You're
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, Come on, Steve, Let's recap
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is a little pooh, ran
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: off my boo. Yeah, we don't have all the cast
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: members here to hit this thing that I've decided to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: share with you. Thirty three year old woman dating this
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: thirty five year old man that ghosted me. They met,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: there was nobody else existed in their lives. That went
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: on trip two weeks later they dated. They was either
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: that one, how so the other house. Every time he
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: was the best lover, that deep in the connection. This
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: went on for four months. She said, I was thinking
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: he's the one, ladies. A lot of times, I was
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: thinking he's the one, and it's nothing wrong with you
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: thinking that. But he didn't share that with you. I
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: don't think it was that deep for him yet. I
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: think he was still in the decision making process. Then
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I got food poison and had to go to the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: hospital for two days. That's some strong food poisoning. That
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: girl you was going through it. I've been going to
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: the bathroom and throwing up before I drove myself to
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the hospital. Brave justin to go ahead, girl. My man
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: rushed to the hospital to see me and told me
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: he'd go to my house and get a few taller
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: trees and change your clothes from me. He came back
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to the hospital with a small bag and then he ghosted.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I called and called and called, and I started wearing
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: that something had happened. And then I saw that he
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: posted a hitch on Instagram and it was kind of
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: odd to me, and then he blocked me on IG
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: So I wanted some answers, so she decided to go
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: to his job and wait for him to come out
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: for lunch. He walked right past me. He said, I
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: was glad I was better, and he dismissed me just
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: like that. I had met one of the co workers,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: so I messaged him on I G to see if
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: he knew what was up with my boyfriend. We're in
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the social media world, you can do that. He responded
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: right away, and he said that my boyfriend could not
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: handle how messy my house was, and the way I
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: left the bathroom was not ladylike at all. I told
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: his co worker that I was very sick and I
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: didn't think about cleaning up the toilet before I went
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: to the hospital. He said, A nasty woman is a
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: turn off. How can my boyfriend be so shallow? It's
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: this a sign that he's not the man for me?
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Or should I keep trying to reconnect with him? Well,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I don't know if he's the man for you, Shirley
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: says not so. I'm kind of leaning towards Shirley's response
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: that if he ghosted your cause it is, this is it?
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something. Come on, come on, something
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: in that damn bathroom that he ran into. Who girl, unbarrel?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: That boy ran in that house, you know, and tried
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: to bring you some poletry. And you probably didn't just
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: throw up in the bathroom. Throw up might have happened
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: somewhere else. I don't know if you made it all
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: the way to the bathroom, But every tell you something.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: A lot of ses was going on that he ran
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: into that he wasn't suppose now you say, can he
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: be this shower? Shallow starts with an S two and
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: everything he ran into I thought it with an ass
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: buff a one. He wasn't supposed to see none of
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: this that a start, And the reason he ain't fooling
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: with you is because of something he has seen. Now,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: let's talk about what the hell was in this bathroom. Now,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: let's go with another s word. It had to be
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: strong in them I'm talking about from time he opened
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: the toe, it was just strong man, God, Joe, what hell?
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: What died in hill? And then when he realized what
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: was strong, it was stink nining in He tried to look.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Now he opened the door, and ah, all hell broke blues. Baby,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you don't even know how to be sick. Sick your
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: ass still when you sick, don't be up moving around
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: because nah splashing and the other ass coming to break. Nah,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: it's smeary. Now, I'm just telling you what he saw
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: in this damn bad froom 'all. He can't look at
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: her no more. She made him sick. Nah, I'm sick. Yeah,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: And it was real sugar honey, iced t t y
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: in him. We know that it was sugar funny. Why
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: here get pasted every time he looked at you? And
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I'm a man when I don't come over here, this
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: what's going on? I can't do this, and I think
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: he's gone for Shirley said it. Bet he can't get
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: that bathroom out of his head. That bathroom. All right,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: that's another s all right, Steve, another s a right.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Leave us your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM and check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: podcast on demand. Coming up next, it is Junior and
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Sports Talk. Right after this. You're listening to Steven Show.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: It is time now for Junior and Sports Talk. Come on, Junior.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: What you got all right, Shirley, Well, let's keep a
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: rob of applause for Vanessa Brian. She wonned her case
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: against La County. She got sixteen million in the court
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: case against La County over photos of her husband, Kobe Bryant,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: and her daughter Gianna that was shared between officers and firefighters.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: The photos were leaked before Vanessa saw them, and she
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: didn't want the pictures of Kobe Bryan and her daughter
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Joanna out in the media. And then all this happened
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: directly after the crash. So all my question is how comma,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: how much did she actually shoot for thirty million one?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: But she got sixteen The jury warned her sixteen million. Good,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: yeah she got sixteen. She won it thirty one, but
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: she got sixteen. But the question is, man, how come
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: we don't even respect people's privacy no more? Because the
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: feeling of you, you lost your husband and your daughter,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: and now the pictures of them after this crash is
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: out here, everybody wants to be I got the news first,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I got the eyeballs, I got the likes, I got
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the views, I got the comments, my page, my post.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Some people sail these pictures to the media, buys these pictures.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: People make money. Man, We're in the get rich quick
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: society where people do anything they have disregard for people's
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: feelings and emotion of it. You know. It's just it's
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: so many sick people in this world. Yeah, it's more
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: sick people than weil people. Yeah you think if we
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: work for law enforcements, Yeah, they have some compassion and yeah,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: wait a minute, the buttholes too, now exactly, well, they
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: proved it now. Literally the majority of police officers and
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: police women are good people. But it's a lot of
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: them that ain't. And there's a lot of them that
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: will standing around because of they cold and allow stuff
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: to happen. And bad witness the stuff happened that was
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: horrific what happened. And not just her family, it was victims, family,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: other victims. And they're still grieving. They're still grieving to
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: this day, you know. And you know to be out
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: there and be in court and have to talk about
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: this after the tragedy that you're still trying, you're still
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: grieving from. Yeah, you lost a great man and her
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: child and her child. So Kobe's birthday was August twenty third,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: So then you in court talking about this. Yea, her
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: post that she said, I did this for you, man,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: brother was bad did his thing. Man. Five NBA championships. Man.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: But congratulations, Vanessa. We're proud of you and we're still
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: holding you down. Girl. We got you, We got you. Yep,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: sure glass she won? All right, Yeah, all right, thank
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: you Junior. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: A man mistakenly, this is terrible. A man mistakenly cuts
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: off his most prized possession in his sleep. We'll get
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening to show, all right.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: So a man in Ghana had the worst nightmare ever.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: He was having a dream about slaughtering a goat and
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: then woke up to find out that he had actually
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: used a knife to cut off his own manhood. Forty
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: two year old Kofi Alta Wait, what is his name?
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: It don't matter, They don't care, don't worry about this.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Kofy Ada says he was asleep and dreaming about butchering
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: a goat when he woke up with a sharp pain
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: in his growing area. He insists that he has no
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: idea at all how it happened, but he severed his penis. Yeah,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: it appears he was probably sleepwalking when he went into
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the kitchen and got a big blade. His wife wasn't home,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: but she received a frantic call from a neighbor saying
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: that her husband was bleeding profusely from his mid section.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: She rushed him to the hospital and he was patched
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: up and is waiting surgery to reconnect his penis. I mean,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: what an unbelievable story. Come sleepwalking, go into the kitchen
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: get a knife. No. I mean, I understand because I
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: referred to mine as the greatest of all time. But
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: I not gonna. I ain't never killed. I ain't never
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: went out there to kill him. I mean, I really
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: don't know what to say about this right here, this,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry. No, it's terrible. No, it's not. No, he crazy,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: you know cutching You ain't never heard nobody now, But
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: if that's why it's so terrible. Yeah, but when you
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: get a dream, you want a slaughter house slot of
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: ghosts with your thing in your hand. We have crazy
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: dreams all the time. What are you talking? Ain't no,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: man cut itself off on no occasion. I'm telling you
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: right now, something else happen, like what something else? Like?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: What else happened? This is the story. What are you saying?
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Something else happened? Cut his off and so she don't
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: go to jail. They don't concocted this story. Ain't no. Wait, no, man,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I know you dreamed about slaughtering the goat and you
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: cut off your manhood. Getting out of hill man, please,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I have felled down a flight of stairs and protecting him.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Hear me busting my head and shoulders and back of everything.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: He comes first, He comes first first, So you had
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: a concussion. Everything, he's hooked up, but he find though
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: he gets covered. We ain't breaking no fall you were,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: but he final I'm just look, we don't make these
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: things up. Okay, sure, surely nobody's saying you making it up.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Can't you believe the story? He would sleepwalk. Have you
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: ever heard of a man cutting himself off before? I've
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: never heard of it, and then talking about she called
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: down there because he bleeding from his mid section. She
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: was down she did it. Let me tell you something.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: The neighborhood, neighbor, the neighbor that the wife somebody, But
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: the wife wasn't there, girl. Okay, so your version of
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: the story, it was, let's get this straight. Yeah, she
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: cut his manhood off because she thought he was cheating.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: We left the house. He got up, neighbor toma, he
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: bleeding profusely. He had dreamed about the goat. What come
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: on watering a goat, flattering the goat? What they got
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: to do with your manhood? Nothing? So you get you
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: sleepwalking to the kitch. So you grabbed the goat by
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: the horn and slid his thoat And you girls stop.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: First of all, I've slept walk the phone never made
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: it to the kitchen, all right, So this story is
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: just like, yeah, trash this. Don't believe none of this.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: It's no way this man did this, all right, Okay.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I was in I was in a shootout protected him.
