- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, today's the day that my friend Jerome Brown, this would have been a 60th birthday.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: And 60 years old he would have been.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: One of the great eagle players in history.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: Today's Jerome Brown's birthday on the day you won your first Super Bowl.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: I never forget his day.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Zander bought me that.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: There, no one there, no, there you go.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: That jersey right there.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: Zander bought me that and gave me that.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: I hang it proudly.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: One of the most iconic men in Eagle history.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the impact he made on your football team and on your city is still felt today.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many 99 jerseys I still see in the stand, whether it's at so-fi stadium or it's in San Francisco or it's in New York, I see draw on Brown uniforms.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: So as I keep this kid, TJ Parker, he was supposed to be a top 10 pick for Climpson just had a bad year.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we'll do Kyle, thank you.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: Me and Jerome, birthday on the same week, let's go.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like it.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: I thought I'd open the show out with you there.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: but the fact that Jerome Brown would have been 60 years old today.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: He'd have been the Charles Barkley, okay?
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: He'd have been the Charles Barkley, a football.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take Jerome over Tom Brady any day.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: Just, I've told you the stories before.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: No need to go back over again.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: But, rest in peace, my friend.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: rest in peace on the day to fill it off the eagles when they're very first superbowl course how how ironic that it's on Jerome's birthday they you win the superbowl you're very first right I don't think you can I don't think it was by coincidence he became a
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I posted a little collage on my X-Count that drove him you're going to be an eagle, okay?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: Never forget the guy.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: Irony, hi, hi, irony.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: No coincidence in life.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: Drone was an eagle man, he's two things.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great man.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: He's a cane and he's an eagle.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: And that will never change.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: I only have three, drum, white, and randle.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, who would be my Mount Rushmore of Philadelphia Eagles?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: Let me think, drum, Reggie, Westbrook,
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is probably gonna shot.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: This is my personal.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: Not who I think should be, but me personally, here's my favorite.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, they signed that board back there for me, that golf classic board, it would be Reggie Jerome, Reggie Jerome, Westbrook, and Andre Waters.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's who be my four.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: Those would be my Mount Rushmore of my favorite Eagles.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: I got to put Andre Waters.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: I love Eric Allen, we're friends, but I love Andre Waters dude.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: Andre Waters was a bad dude, man.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, that was, hey, Andre Waters was your Jack Tatum, okay, he was your Jack Tatum.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going Andre Waters.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he signed that for me back.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: I was great friends with Andre.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Andre would come into my studio at Tampa in my radio show, because he lived down there in Tampa.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: And man, he and I used to just just chop it up, man, and talk football, and he was such a good dude.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: I really enjoyed being around him.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: Then why don't you love McNabb?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what, McDab was a great football player.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: I just never really, ever thought that he was a great leader.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I never really thought that he was that tune.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so let's get into it.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: So, rest in peace, Jerome.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: Today was your birthday, your 60th birthday.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to get that out of the way.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: Also, we'll talk a little more about
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: What that day meant to you guys eight years ago today the Philadelphia Eagles win their Super Bowl and they're very first one will do that we're going to also talk a little bit about the Super Bowl obviously they got wild things going on now at media row that's what it's called it's not like radio row any more it's called media row.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: And so like, you know, it's between San Jose, San Jose is like down here.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: And like San Francisco is like way up here.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm telling you, with the traffic, I can't tell you how many times we lived in the Bay Area in my wife and I, that we would be on the Bay Bridge and you'd shut your car off because you're gonna sit there for about two hours because of the traffic.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's not that easy of a place to get around.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: And so now you're going from one place, and that's about an hour and 25, 30 minutes to get down to San Jose.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's not that easy, so what they've done is, they've made it almost impossible to really kind of recover the Super Bowl.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's usually at the Marconi Center because the last time the Super Bowl was there, my wife actually worked my show.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: when I was still doing radio at 1990 and Southern California, we went up to the Super Bowl.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: My wife was my producer there and it was at the Marcone Center.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now they've got it spread over, they've got it in San Fran and they've got it now down at the San Jose Convention Center.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's a far, far drive in that,
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: And that part of the country, I'm telling you.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's about an hour and 35 minutes, just to drive alone, that count the traffic.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely, happy, heavenly birthday to Jerome.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you guys.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: All good.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, I want to go here with this.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to start it out here.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to give you, and I want to start to show out here.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: How many people believe that the Eagles will be a Super Bowl contender in 26?
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Are you going to be, do you believe that this team right now?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm all the conversations or still tune.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, you can give me this, still too early.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because looks else.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: But remember, two, you're getting a first place schedule.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like you're going to be the Lions, and you're going to get a last pick schedule.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: Do you believe that this team is going to be a Super Bowl contender in 2026?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: If you trade AJ, yes, if you trade AJ, it's an infatic, no.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: If they do well in September,
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's a chance.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a minute, you did well in September this last year.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: Once you undefeated?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Train A, J, for a second, yes.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: A second round pick's not gonna help this football thing.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: Be a Super Bowl contender.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's insane.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't know sales.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: I wanna be optimistic.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: But, I'm unsure.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Listen.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, this is not going to be a rip topic, not rip in anybody.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: Only if the online gets healthy, I don't believe the left card's going to be ever healthy ever again.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: 13 surgeries.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe Land of Dickerson is going to be a pro ball guard again.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: He may prove me wrong this upcoming year, remember I said that on February 4th, I do need do not believe that landed Dickerson is going to return back to what?
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: Better health?
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: Based on what?
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: A 14th surgery?
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: 13 surgeries.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: We're getting to the point where you've got not only you have to think about replacing the right tackle, you're in a place now where you
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: Play off contender, yes.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: I may go there.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: Super Bowl contender, no.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think the NFC will be way more competitive.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: I do too.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of why I think, hey, listen, I thought you were gonna be in a position to do something this coming season, because how many people remember this?
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: I asked you this question.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, guys, please hit the like button, appreciate you guys being here.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: You tell me, remember I asked you this topic question, every single one of you almost said, no, to this topic.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I asked it, and I kept asking it.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, do you believe how he rosemen, mortgaged the 2,025 season for 26 and 27?
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know what you guys said?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, well, you did.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: We brought up all those signings.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: Only two of the signings a year ago that how we had mattered.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: Only two, and the offense regressed.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: How he rose from a didn't have a good year either.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody in the organization did.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: That had coach, coordinator, the quarterback, nobody did.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: You don't really, the only guy
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: He, the only one.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: Hell no, unless we get some brains on offense.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: March, I'm going to ask you a question here in a second.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: So as I feel like he's mortgaging this season, look at the clues.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: There you go, Abe, you're thinking like, and you know the show now.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Abe, is he doing it again?
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: Is he mortgaging the future again for another year?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: because I'm going to show you what he did.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I heard Zander say this, and I had to go and look.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I had to go and look because I couldn't believe what Milton William said.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: So let me go here.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: Milton Williams was never offered a contract.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: So John was pushing back today.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't give a shit what John says.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: You don't make a guy that you drafted
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: even a lowball offer?
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: You don't even try to work the so-called how he roseman magic to try to keep the guy.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: Milton Williams said he was never even spoken to.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: You let the best defense attack all that you had in the best defense of Lyman off your team of the Super Bowl year walk under the assumption you thought it was you and you thought it was Vick on why the player was so good.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: I remember Zander saying this, hey, Jalen Carter would note Williams benefited from playing next to him.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that wasn't a case.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: Caleb Carter benefited, playing next to Milton Williams.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's how that looks now.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Does it not?
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: That Milton Williams was the reason Carter played well in 24.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't give a shit how you slice that up.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: What was the one thing that was missing in 2024?
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: Milton Williams.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, everybody last all season said, well, just sweat and Milton Williams benefited from playing next to Jalen Carter.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: That turned out to be not true.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a minute, lie again?
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: How's that alive?
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Carter played like shit this year.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Carter did outplay Milton Williams.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Milton Williams wasn't playing next to nor Josh Sweat had a great ear.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: You're making it sound like Carter had some sort of superstar ear.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no password whatsoever until you got jail of Phillips.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: A lie, bro, you don't want to hear the truth again.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: He had surgery.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: He got hurt again.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: Milk got hurt too.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: Hey Milton.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: Milton got hurt.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's right, he got hurt too, so don't use that shit on me about Milton being.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: He got hurt too.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: Carter was always double team.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well as I told you, did you think that Jalen Carter was gonna see last double teams if you got rid of Milton?
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: or more, you know what you guys said?
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: Last, I was like, really?
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: Based on what?
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: Based on what?
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: Milton Miss Five games.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: Double check that.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: Milton Miss Five, I believe.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see here, teams, Milton Williams.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: He never was even taught to.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: He was never even spoken to.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: So Milton.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: Five games in a month, seven.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: Why, that's a why.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: Dandeman, tell him.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: So a did Milton have surgery, a a go surgeries that made no impact.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't have a surgery.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: He had a procedure.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: Jala Carter did not have surgery.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's a procedure wrong.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lie.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: Was it?
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: So Milton Williams is a Hall of Famer now.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: There you go, Guy.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, R.C.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: You did not talk to that guy because how he mortgage the future.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: Work, you told me, can't sign everybody.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: So you got to mortgage the future.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's what you did.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: You mortgage the future by not signing sweat and Milton, because what you guys tell me as John says to, you can't sign everybody.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: So you're wrong, they did.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: They mortgage the future and 26 and 27 has to be Super Bowl contending years.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: You guys just got through telling me, you don't believe they are.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: So how is how are we doing as a GM?
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Still a lot of time.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, kind of.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_00]: Free agency starts on the 11th.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: and free agency, depending on what you do here.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: I say this is a massive off season, to continue your, what you think is a Super Bowl window if you think you have one.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of think there's one, but I think you got a lot of steps here to try to figure out whether or not you really do have one.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: We're mortgaging, man you won't be gone, won't be gone so fast if things go south.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: They're looking ahead at the future, preparing for the next regime.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe that.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe that's how they operate.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: Kimbo, I don't, I don't believe that.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: I give Carter one more year to impress me or see a later.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: He couldn't do a push-up because of his shoulders.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: He better be in shape and play well in 26, Mikey.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I think that's a perfect lead for him.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: Flag football.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: You probably make all the reads and flag football.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: Regulation, Jalen.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: Way to leave that come back and flag football.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have anybody over the middle of the field.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have anybody to worry about.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have anybody in front of you.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's a perfect lead for Hertz.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: Flag football.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: You should be a star in that Olympic Games.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't doubt if Jalen hurts to be the star in the flag football in the Olympic Games.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, you don't have to read defense.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: You just throw the dudes, it's great.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: Come run around, do everything.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: He's made for flag football.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely perfect.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: You bet they're Freddy.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: You put that there right on Hertz, man.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: What a comeback victory and flag football.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can't be more proud of him.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see it because I don't watch it like that, but hey, I'm glad you guys were watching flag football.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: I did say flag, right?
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: I've got flag football.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: I ain't done.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: couldn't watch it, really?
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: What gave that away?
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: What, let me guess, do you know, Annie?
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: So we act like Milton, what have made a difference on the outcome of this year?
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: The issue was not a defense, it was on offense.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: You don't think that he would be an impact in your run game?
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you were 20 at some running and run defense or 17 at the run defense?
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: So you think Milton Williams
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: Well, then I'll tell you what, okay, Gabe, if your problems aren't on defense, you've got bigger problems than you think.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're hoping there's that strategy word to Eagle fans like, hope that they get healthy?
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: I heard he was dancing, no, I, I, that I don't know.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really watch flag football do.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's not, I like sports people get hit and who the hell watch is a proble anyway.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, man.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: Aigo Gabe, boy, must, hey, if somebody told me Jalen hurts excelled in the flag football, I'd be like, yeah, back.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, Betty was a star in it.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: This year, if you,
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: And it took more than two snaps you qualified for the Pro Bowl, I know, hey, you know the Pro Bowl and you guys won me over on this, okay, hey, if just in fields is turning the Pro Bowl down, I don't know, now that I'm going to agree with M.R.A.S.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's just parking all kinds of bullshit, but this one here, puppy bowl, absolutely is a must watch.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in on that, I watch that.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone with a sense of the kind, the invitation.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, a five hundred thousand dollars in my contract based on a proble.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know if I've passed an ad up.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone who watches the proble, I has no life, flag football.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: Dude, they're selling flag football with that and using the players for a reason.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna have a flag football team in Philadelphia.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know that, right?
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: Jeffrey Laurie is going to have a flag football team.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: For you guys to go to over at the new ballpark when you get that dome built, and you knock down Lincoln financial.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: Don't play better than Jalen Facts.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: I have to feel in our Super Bowl windows close.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: Online AJ gone and Jalen Carter a headache.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Off the field injury, German, appreciate you.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: He actually is watching from Germany too.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: Shit the combines better.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: It is better.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: It is better.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: It is better.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: Sheels Reggie love Jerome.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: We retired with the Minister of Defense, not super tight, but new him really well.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: I was I was really tight with Keith Jackson.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_00]: The tight in you guys had.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously too, Keith fire.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: She guys know I'm very close with Keith fires.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: Who else?
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: And let's say paying Seth money, not friends with him.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I didn't realize that, you know, Jacob had to pay him to be his friend.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I kind of thought we were friends, but I kind of think we probably are a little bit, but you know, others than that, I don't know.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: So if Jacob starts paying him again, I'm sure we'll be friends, but I don't know.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I thought we were good, but it's all good.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_00]: So these are the guys going top five.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: Mendoza, respane, tate, regala, and fano.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I agree.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: Subo MVP.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: He made records.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: You're hating on jailin.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't hate jailin hurts.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: Why would I hate somebody?
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think on people who watch the news?
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't hate people.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, guy.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: That, uh, listen here.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: I've never had a problem.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: Ferry tells shit fake news.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: Sheels to be fair.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: The eagle, and by the way, thank you WIP.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: Sheels to be fair, the Eagles don't really have to do a whole lot on defensive side.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: Get a better corner back, opposite that side.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: Milton, over under one and a half sacks.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: I got it down here.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: Here's my potential MVP's of the Super Bowl, you ready?
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: Sam Darnl, Jason, Stefan Dix, or Milton Williams.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: Those are my guys.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: Those are my guys.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, so I couldn't believe it.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: What I was, you know, Milton Williams said he was never offered a contract by Howard, like ever.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: They never spoke, they never spoke, and I heard John this morning saying, well, they knew they were never going to compete for 26 million bucks.
- 27:04[UNKNOWN]: OK.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: So then, how are you going to keep jam and philips and pay him $25 million dollars?
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: So $20 million dollars, you're not keeping him that.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: Correct?
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: Are you really going to pay Jordan Davis the same amount of money that you would pay Milton or no, what is that going to come in at?
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: You're paying them right now, what?
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: 11, 5, on the fifth year option?
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: So what will you pay him?
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: 19 million?
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: Would you really rather pay Davis, 19 million?
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: Then pay Jalen Phillips, 20, 22, right?
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: Because you feel in fixed defense, who won't be here after next year.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: You feel that he's instrumental.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: Boy, is that a gamble?
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's a gamble that Davis is gonna duplicate what he did this last year.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, do me a favor, Kyle, and eat your help.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: How many snaps did he take this year?
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Davis.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think he took a ton of snaps, no?
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not paying Phillips more than 16.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: All right?
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: So that means then you let sweat leave for 19.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: You're not paying, you're paying Phillips less than what you let sweat walk out the building.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to figure out your Super Bowl window here.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: This is where this exercise is going.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to figure out how long you think or if you think you have one.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: and Lane, or a combination of AJ and Goddard.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have a Super Bowl contending team?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: Sales, best block I ever saw was buyers on Pepper Johnson.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: They were boys at Ohio State.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Pepper played for part cells with the giants.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: So there's no Super Bowl window.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's slam shut already.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: Then what are we doing here?
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna be a joke next year too.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: Not a joke.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_00]: Not a joke.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I wanna know what we get for AJ, okay?
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: Two and a five.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know what he commands and you don't know what teams will do to get him.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's a two and a five.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: If you were going to get the most for him, you were going to get it at the trading deadline.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: Not the off season.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be more teams vying for it.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: More people are going to look at him and say he's a second round or based on what the offense did, not by what he may have left.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you know, guys like M. Reyes, every time I bring up stats and numbers, this is where it affects player's trade value.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know all those stats that you guys give me shit for?
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: This is where it diminishes you and trade value.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: All those stats, too.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: Cause they're gonna look at his numbers and go, I'm not giving you a first rounder.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: His numbers are gone backwards.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_00]: So all those things that you guys were telling me about numbers, you know what, you know what the general manager is gonna do to how he, a general manager's gonna go like this, but he's regressed, I'll give you a two and a five form, like given you a first round draft Royce for that guy, he barely had a thousand yards.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: And the other guy had more yards anyway, Devontate Smith, I'm not giving you that, plus he pitches in Mones.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the second, maybe a third.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: And a third in a four, and he makes a boatload of dough.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: And get this, the Eagles are not going to be able to use that first round pick this year because why?
- 31:39[SPEAKER_00]: Because the men, remember what I told you.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: When you postate, you've got to carry that all the way through.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: You don't get the latitude of going, hey, that means I get a one in 26, no it doesn't.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: You get the one in the following draft.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think Clint will be tutored by Fick in 26 to take over the job?
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's what they're going to hope for.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: Tell you this, here's one thing about Clint.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: Click turn that job down.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_00]: That might be dolphin job.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's not public, but he did turn that job down.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_00]: There's a reason he turned that job down.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: He turned that job down because he was, again, getting opportunities to be and stay and fill it off you.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: Get this.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: If people believe the BS, they give them an e's worth and they say you don't have to deal with hurts anymore.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: get test.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what they're going to deal with with with him when they're trading for him.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to look at his numbers the last two years of gone down.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: And they're going down and their targets are going down for a reason.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, you think the Eagles are going to be kind with him exiting on what it means.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know what they're going to do.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to turn feathers of the guy.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to make it sound like we needed to move on from the player because of his attitude and his lack of effort.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: Quite frankly, what the Eagles have done if they wanted to move from AJ Brown just with the lack of production, compared to what he did his first two years, they've diminished his trade value in the last year.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: If they even wanted to get rid of him, they're never gonna get the value for the player back.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_00]: So what you're gonna get a first round, and if you're a good team, you're gonna finish 24 to 25.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna get to 25th pick, you thought,
- 33:45[SPEAKER_00]: But you're going to get to 25th pick in the second round.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to get like the 6869 pick for this guy, the following year.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_00]: The return on investment is not worth it.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: I hate to break it to you, but boats on a rickety deal is a better value than Brown.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Do.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: AJ Brown's not a good value right now, if AJ gets traded, it'll be, it'll be to a shit team anyway.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: Why would how he send him to a team for a terrible pick?
- 34:28[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, he wouldn't, I wouldn't either.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: Shit, I want to send him to Cleveland.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'd send him to the Browns.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sending him to the England.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_00]: unless there's a three team deal with it.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, his values, not that big.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: You think his value at 2829 years old with diminishing numbers?
- 34:52[SPEAKER_00]: You think that's gonna like, how about this the last two years?
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't helped the passing game at all.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: German, thank you.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's still self-topic.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: But why are you commenting on the Eagles?
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: You're not an Eagle fan.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_00]: Are you?
- 35:11[SPEAKER_00]: I know I'm a massive Eagle fan.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_00]: I like how you guys have a great passion for the team.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: As a matter of fact, I think the Philadelphia Eagles are one of the great teams to cover.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be interested to know how you ended up here.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_00]: Very simple.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Krauss and myself and Zander and everybody,
- 35:32[SPEAKER_00]: uh, wanted to put the show on and here we are, and to me, just like when I was covering the Dallas Cowboys, or I was covering this San Francisco Giants, or I was covering the New York Giants, or I was covering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, bringing me in, I'm going to cover your football team, and I'm going to cover your football team with the best of my ability.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to cover your baseball team and I'm going to cover all of that when I was doing traditional sports talk.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I do.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: Unlike the local guys who get regurgitated every single job, they get fired, they get hired, they get hired, they get hired, they get fired, they get hired, they don't get any better.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_00]: The people in the city that fill an
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: but it's the fans that make that shit move.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's why you can have guys get blown out hired, blown out hired, blown out hired.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same crew.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: How many times in your city have the same people been fired and hired?
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, go down the list, look at every radio show.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: They've worked at 97, five where they've worked at WIP.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: You think they got better?
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: They get better, fire this marks, fire this guy, hire this guy, fire that guy.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: They never bring new views and new voices in.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's why it sounds like the same old shit.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same old shit.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_00]: Just a different shift.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's why.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same stuff.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: Guy gets fired and gets hired over here.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: Guy gets fired over here and gets up back over there.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's over here, back over there.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same, it's like, it's almost like the hiring process of the NFL, Matt Maggie.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we know when I hear him over here, I'm going to hire him over here.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to hire him over here.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same stuff.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: Eagle should call AJ's bluff if he wants out.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: Tell him where he'd do his contract and the Eagle's favor.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, well, I don't think his agent's going to be going on that lane.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_00]: OK?
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see here.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: So how many, how many Corona's do all these super chats by you in a football Friday?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say about good 24, how are you doing?
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: So as you think, variable won't deal AJ from the 31st pick, especially if they lose the Super Bowl.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: Why would he equals, what they get any better than that with the, so you're saying that
- 38:15[SPEAKER_00]: And they got capromed with the Patriots over pay for AJ.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: 31st pick is like the second round.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he might do that.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a bad thought.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: Why would variable one, a F and Cancer and Eagle Maniac in AJ Brown?
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: Whoever said that's fucking stupid.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's got one right now and stuff on Diggs.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: Stuff on Diggs is more of a nightmare than AJ is.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take 10 AJ Browns compared to stuff on Diggs.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, stuff on Diggs is on that football team.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_00]: guys complete asshole, but he's got him on that team.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: So H.A.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: Brown, I don't think H.A.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: Brown, by the way, I don't think hiring a 33 year old O.C.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: is gonna be a convincing factor here.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_00]: So as they stumbled on this show six months ago, and boy, I'm glad I did, you're great, whatever you do, thanks.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Hill, thank you very much, and we appreciate you.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome, man.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: I would have expected anything else from you.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: Right to have you here.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Don't change.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much, German.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what I am finding out, though.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: I do enjoy covering the team.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: If that, well, German, I can't be authentic and say, hey, I grew up being an eagle fan.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody in there would believe that.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: You would think I was built pulling in.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I grew up.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: I was an eagle fan when I grew up.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: Would you want me to say that?
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's not true.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I got to be truthful, don't I?
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: But I tell you what I do and have become over five years.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: I've enjoyed covering them.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: There is no doubt of all the teams I've covered over the years by far one of the greatest teams I've ever covered.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's truth.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_00]: The fans are sick cool, okay?
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm starting to enjoy covering, starting to I am.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: I enjoy covering the team.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: I do most of my posting about the Eagles on my X account.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: I saw a video of Rich Gannon and San Francisco for the Super Ball John Gruden.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: How good was Gannon with the Raiders?
- 40:50[SPEAKER_00]: When the MVP award.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see here.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: I've been watching Daily since 22 sales hilarious.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Sue.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: I still, you know, I'm almost saved up now trying to look younger.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: Zander told me I was, I was old.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: We enjoy covering, we enjoy covering the team.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely, man.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: All good.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, yeah, yeah, so I changed.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_00]: I got another guy, though, but no, it wasn't just him.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: I had another guy tell me, too.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, get a razor and just clean yourself up.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what?
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's people, man.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_00]: I got to get them colored, suck it in a little.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_00]: Got to look like a model.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: How's Jalen?
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I'll tell you, let's just, look at some of these stats the last three years.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: They're common.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, thank you very much.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I listen, what's his name's statistics?
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Devante Smith's statistics?
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're okay.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, for a number two, I think they're great, actually.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll take that back.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: For two, getting a thousand yards, I think that's great.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's great.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: Do it so again, you're Super Bowl window.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: Do you believe you're a contender in 26?
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: Here's who I think the contenders are.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, this is going to change.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: So this is this is moving.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: But here's who I tell you why I think the contenders
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'll say New England, built, unlobered to Ravens, and I'm tired of the Bengals.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: New coach, new coordinators, and Baltimore, I'm out.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have to show me more that, and the Bengals, I'm sick of talking about this.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, Joe Burrows really great, but yeah, the defense blows.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're doing nothing to improve the defense.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I doubt they will because they don't spend any money.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm out on Joe Burrows team.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't believe that Super Bowl contender.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jags will be.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: Attacksons?
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's proud.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: The Colts?
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos, yes.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: Charges, yes.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: Chiefs, yes.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: Raiders know, I'm going to put the Eagles over to the left here.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Cowboys, I'm going to ask, by the way, Battle Royale today, I'm going to ask Mark Holmes that, do you think you'll be a Super Bowl contender in 26?
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_00]: Commanders know, Bears, I don't think they're a Super Bowl contender.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: you can't play the way they played with all those one-scored games and all those maniac plays.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe they're so focused on the right now.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: Packers I do.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: Minnesota, I don't.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_00]: The Lions I do.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: There's more teams this year are coming up in 26.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: Caroline and no
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: Saints though now remember there's always a worse the first story somebody's going to be a worse the first it could be the giants C ox yes Rams yes 49ers yes I think the 49ers I think the San Francisco 49ers are going to be back in that conversation too So that's one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven and if you count the Eagles that's twelve teams
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: that are going to be Super Bowl contenders.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: Cowboys, maybe.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_00]: They may be a, they, them are the giants.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: Stay as, stay as you are.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: I expect you to speak your mind, even if it's not when I want to hear, I think that's great.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: When the Eagles playing in Germany come over, I'm waiting with some beer.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: And the beer there, folks, let me tell you about the beer in Germany for a second.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I went to Austria, German tell them, the beer is like the cags are under the ground.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: And they don't have any carbonation in these beers.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how to do it, but the beer in Germany is incredible.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: And it comes, it's like, they have them under the ground, they have these cags when I was in Austria.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: And when I was in Bond, Germany, and when I was, and we were just a little bit south of Berlin, and we were in Frankfurt.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: So the beer is insane.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_00]: Did they do something with the carbonation there?
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's just really great.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so yeah, I lived in Austria for a year.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_00]: All these teams may start off with Super Bowl teams, but into seven, yes, that's what I'm kind of saying right now.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying that right now, there's probably around 11 teams, this will change, okay, this will change.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_00]: It will.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: seals, you were talking about forgiveness and how people don't forgive or believe someone can change.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're a good dude and everyone deserves forgiveness, but your takes on jail and stink.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: You're brony.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: My takes.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's okay.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's a great.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, that's a great line.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate that.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: Beer is different here, man.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, but you got light beer here.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: Three Corona's dude.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not kidding you.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_00]: I treat Corona for that reason.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: Bears different, there it is.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, you want to hear something else wild?
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like I walked into a McDonald's in Germany.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: Ozostrium.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I went like this and I said, Bia and Vasa and so like the guy goes, okay, so it gives me glass of water and it gives me beer.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_00]: And he goes like this, he goes,
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: In a fenced-off.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: What's that, maybe?
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: Look in the mirror.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, okay, fenced-off.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_00]: Mirror, got it.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: Ha ha.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: You want some good beer, canada, too?
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, sir, absolutely.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I'd sped up because the Deutsch though.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you see the fence stuff.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: Look at the mirror.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't speak German that well, dude.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: No spec as he Deutsch.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_00]: And a little bit, not really anything.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of put some words together.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: My uncle's also read.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: My aunt knows a little bit.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_00]: Other than that, I got a piece of elephant thing together.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 49:23[SPEAKER_00]: I can't do dark beer at night.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 49:29[SPEAKER_00]: I can't do IPAs, I don't really like IPAs, cause that don't like bitter.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I don't, all right.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_00]: So, you're Super Bowl window.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's really gonna be contingent on who goes.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_00]: It really is.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_00]: Who goes?
- 49:49[SPEAKER_00]: If AJ Brown is the only dude that goes, your offense will be worse.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_00]: If Lane and AJ go,
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: if AJ and Jalen Phillips goes, you're not a Super Bowl contending team.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_00]: If Jalen Phillips and Lago, and if AJ and God are go, you're not a Super Bowl contending team.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_00]: This is gonna be more about the exits.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: Just like it was a year ago.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: So let's go back and revisit one topic.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_00]: I asked you this to a hundred times in the off season.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_00]: You guys think you replaced the players
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: Now we're on the 2014.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: Did you?
- 50:39[SPEAKER_00]: Did you replace the players?
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: There's a follow-up question to you.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_00]: And what's up, dude?
- 51:07[SPEAKER_00]: Do you believe you replace the players?
- 51:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yes or no?
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: How to the no?
- 51:15[SPEAKER_00]: Flexing, no.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: And race.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: Do you believe you replaced the players that were on the 2014?
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see what he says.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know what's gonna be yes, but let's see what he says.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_00]: So everybody in here saying no.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_00]: lesser replacements.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's probably more fair.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_00]: It is lesser replacements.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: There's two places we're going here.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: We write this down so I don't forget.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_00]: Not completely.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_00]: Not completely.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_00]: But more than you think.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_00]: More than I think, you got bounced by a JV team in the first round of playoffs.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_00]: What more were you thinking?
- 52:10[SPEAKER_00]: What do you mean, what more were you thinking?
- 52:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what am I missing?
- 52:22[SPEAKER_00]: So here, so what kind of season do you think how we had last year?
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: A, B, S, C, or D. How do you think how he?
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: How was how he's here?
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: The greatest general manager of all time.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_00]: You guys are called.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: All brought with coach, reckless out of dart and scatable.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: He made coach the reckless sense out of them.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
- 52:58[SPEAKER_00]: How do you think how he did?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_00]: This offseason.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: C, C minus, okay?
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: How do you think you did?
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: What, what, what would you give how we?
- 53:17[SPEAKER_00]: D, I thought this guy was to create some, I thought he was to create a channel manager on, that look, you're not gonna be a superstar GM every year.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_00]: We all know that, okay, we all get that.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: You're not gonna be a superstar general manager every year.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so we, we understand that.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're not gonna win a Super Bowl every year.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_00]: So we're not going down that lane here.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_00]: But you tell me, okay, so here, how we didn't have a very good year, there's not what person in that organization had a good year except Vic Fangio.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_00]: How we didn't have a good year.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think how we had a list and stabilizing here.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think it worked enough to win, but not win it.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_00]: And so he was middle of the road.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_00]: This guy was a 10-11 win football team.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: And again, it never had consistency at all.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_00]: The defense, it took about six weeks for it to get going.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: where a year ago, it kind of was starting to get really good when they implemented and put in Cooper to Jean, right?
- 54:30[SPEAKER_00]: What changed the entire landscape of the Eagle Defense was, when you guys put in Cooper to Jean, that's what changed it, right?
- 54:41[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, well, that's,
- 54:45[SPEAKER_00]: how he did not have a good year and then get this.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: The thing with Milton Williams, what aggravates me the most is that the relentless take of you can't pay everybody.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Milton Williams wasn't anybody.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was one of the best players on your defense.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: I say how we misvaluated on the player's value to the team.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_00]: Is that fair?
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: They thought they could live without him because of what many of you said.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_00]: I can't tell you how many people said, well Milton Williams benefited playing next to Milton Williams or excuse me, Jalen Carter.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_00]: I heard that and I went, wait, you're telling me you don't think Jalen Carter benefited at all, having Milton next to him.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: and playing next to better players?
- 55:41[SPEAKER_00]: Nope, it's Jell and Carter.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that turned out to be false.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_00]: Jell and Carter benefited on his talent being, get this.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_00]: How many people believe this?
- 55:57[SPEAKER_00]: If Milton Williams was playing next to Jell and Carter, Jell and Carter would have been a force to share.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: And he and I felt, I believe that.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: I believe Jalen Carter would have took on less doubles.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I think he would have been a force having that dude next to him.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_00]: Do you not agree?
- 56:17[SPEAKER_00]: So what you did was, you're most important defensive tackle.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_00]: You had him take on more double teams, which entered the shoulders, morals of fine ball player, he's not Milton Williams.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: And what sucks is you drafted Milton and you developed them, you turned them into the,
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: What you see in New England right now is because of Philly.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: How he how he fucked that up.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's a miscalculation.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_00]: If you keep telling me the how is this wizard, I'm, I said to you you're never in a million years ever gonna have two wide receivers making over 25 million dollars.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that turned out to be a bad take by me.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_00]: because how we made the money work, the font they gave them are great deal, and it worked.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_00]: If how he wants to make something work, he makes it work.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_00]: You're telling me he just didn't want to make a work because he believed that he could replace Milton.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he couldn't, and he didn't any won.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_00]: There's nobody on that football team, and there's nobody going to be on the football team in three years.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_00]: Unless you draft somebody that turns out to be a superstar on what you did
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: Now again, I'm picking on Milton here because I'm talking about building the future of the team and keeping your Super Bowl window open on how you're evaluating talent.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_00]: You're also gonna let Moro jump a walk in about a year.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna let him go through the season, he's gonna be a free agent, he's gonna bolt.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_00]: Moro's a good player.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: Could he turn out to be that?
- 57:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but he's trending up.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_00]: But because you drafted those two detackles, and here's something else to think about, if you play Jordan Dates, the money that you're saying, 18, 19 million?
- 58:10[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, you're gonna pay him seven more than he's making now, and you think that's what they're gonna land on?
- 58:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_00]: What did the tackle from the, hey, Kyle, anybody?
- 58:22[SPEAKER_00]: What did the tackle from the Cowboys sign for?
- 58:24[SPEAKER_00]: The interior tackle, I'm not talking quinting Williams, I'm talking to the other guy.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_00]: that they got there.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't they give him a $19,000,000,000,000 deal?
- 58:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Jordan Davis is not Milton.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's absolutely not.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_00]: You could do more with Milton.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's a more versatile player.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: And he could play three downs.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's what makes Milton better than Davis.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: Play him anywhere.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_00]: I heard somebody say yes today to me, sales you're not going to put them and play them at the nose for 65 plays.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: Why what I?
- 59:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to move it up and down the line of scrimmage.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_00]: Jim, well, how much is that guy paid by the Cowboys?
- 59:15[SPEAKER_00]: Sales and if they can get two foundational players on offense in this year's draft, would you say it would be a success?
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: It'd be a grand slam.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and then you let basically butcher cops walk up the door.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_00]: Now look, see, butcher cops, no, that's over the top.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's not flutcher, hocks.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_00]: Flutcher cops, okay, so look at this.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_00]: Four years, 80 million.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_00]: So that defensive tackle and Dallas is making 20 million a year.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to pay Jordan name is 20 million here and then turn around to pay 30 million dollars to Jalen Carter.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_00]: Is that right?
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_00]: So you're going to pay 52 million between two interior tackles 52 million.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_00]: Gentlemen, Philips and moral jungle or anybody, help Jail and Jail, it's hot.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_00]: All of them guys, not a chance in hell, you're paying.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_00]: Unless you do this, I'm getting rid of Milada and I'm getting rid of Lane.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_00]: Lane's contract comes off the board.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_00]: If he retires, you're gonna say 25 million there.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_00]: Milton is better than Carter overall right now but Carter's ceiling yes I agree with that yes I agree 100% with that Taylor Carter has Jerome Brown type of ceiling I've only said that about a few players and I think he's got Jerome Brown ceiling stuff I do I think is attitude sucks at times
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_00]: God rest his soul on his birthday.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_00]: Drunk didn't have the best attitude all the time either.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_00]: He take plays off too.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_00]: Don't kid yourself.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_00]: Drunk was a little lazy.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_00]: He could be lazy, but then he turned around to put up seven splash plays and ends the game.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I can shit.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_00]: Very few players can do that.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: We'll take two plays.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_00]: You should try buddy Ryan Crazy.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_00]: But Lane Johnson's $20 million dead cap hit.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_00]: Don't do it if that matters.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you do a $20 million a year.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you're gonna pay the guy to say amount of money, day, George Davis's agent's gonna go, look what the guy in Dallas got.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: He got $20 million, he got four years, 80 million.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's making $20 million.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think you're gonna get some home count discount?
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're gonna make $15 million.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's not how that's gonna work.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_00]: So, do you see if Picking's doesn't play under the franchise tag?
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever team that takes him has to give up two first-round picks or the equivalent of it seems weird.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_00]: Not sure if, yes, here, if they franchise tag him and a team wants to trade for him, they have to give two ones up for him.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's what that tag, yes.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's a team-friendly tag.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_00]: But the competition goes on the side of the team.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_00]: Team gets two ones.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_00]: Or those that like restricted free agent thing too, there's something like that to hide to it.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_00]: Eagles could draft the starter or two out of the draft.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's see this here.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_00]: In last year's draft, did you draft the starter?
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_00]: Can't before a little bit, but lost the job back to the original starter.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_00]: You guys didn't have one guy start for you as a full-time starter.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_00]: And as a guy who won the job, right?
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't have one guy that you drafted.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_00]: Am I wrong?
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_00]: Was there somebody?
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: So not one guy drafted was a starter.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_00]: You're before you drafted two guys that became starters.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's rare.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_00]: McCubo was a starter, okay, I'll give you that.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_00]: Then he got hurt, kind of goes down his pre-draft stuff, a little bit, right?
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_00]: A cousin was tagged twice in Washington.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it was 25 and then 30, I forget what it was.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_00]: He may have been tagged before they changed the rules three times.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_00]: I forget.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think, I think you can count McCuban.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_00]: McCuban was your starter.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think you could.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_00]: But again, the one thing in the pre-draft in the analysis of him was that he couldn't stay healthy.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_00]: He couldn't stay healthy at Clemson and he couldn't stay healthy a little bit of taxes.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_00]: So that turned out to follow him in Indiana, fell.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_00]: So yes, you didn't draft that you drafted a starter, you drafted, but you're drafting two?
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_00]: Don't ever let Jalen Carter be a free agent.
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, again, it's one thing to have tremendous talent.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's another thing to live up to it.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_00]: Here, let's do this.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_00]: Ty, do you think that Jalen Carter has lived up to his ability so far?
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_00]: as a, you think he's lived up to his ability so far as a first-round pick and a night pick in the draft.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's a matter of fact, you think Jordan Davis since he's been drafted has lived up to the 13th pick.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say no to both.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_00]: Well, shit dude, at times, I don't want to pay 30 million dollars for a guy that doesn't when he feels like it.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_00]: Do you?
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_00]: So wherever your the Eagles have hit on one or two players a year, they may be able to hit on the O line and edge.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think if they draft an offensive lineman in the first round, especially at 23, I think they might be able to hear.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_00]: Let me show you something here.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_00]: Let me go into the draft for a second.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_00]: Let me go over here.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna show you something where the Eagles are sitting.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I love Lance's airline.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I bring up always his pre-draft stuff.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I think he's the best.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_00]: So here, the Eagles are picking at 23.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_00]: They got that kid, Cassius Howell, the kid that I'd like, I didn't see this.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_00]: and they got them at edge there.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, if they're taking edge and Lance thinks that they're gonna go edge, they're not signing Phillips.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, they're not signing Phillips.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_00]: And they're gonna pass on that dough.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, cause they're just gonna pass on it.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_00]: I say this.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_00]: If that kid Caleb Lomus there, you talk.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_00]: Messador?
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_00]: Young?
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_00]: That kid from Missouri?
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_00]: Don't need a linebacker.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_00]: If proctor falls, it's gonna come down.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see how many lands has a quarterbacks going in the first round.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_00]: Mendoza won he's got bang going at nine to Kansas City.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_00]: Whew, man, Steve Spagnola, a bang.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_00]: They got to Miami tack will go in a Cincinnati.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_00]: That'd be a great pick for them.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see another quarterback.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_00]: The problem with the Eagles on these O Lyman, there's not a lot of quarterbacks in this draft that are going to go in the first high Simpson, probably will get elevated up.
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_00]: There's two quarterbacks.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_00]: that are gonna get drafted.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Ty Simpson is gonna be a first rounder.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's garbage.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_00]: So the problem that you have if you're the Eagles and you're looking for an alignment, the good ones are gonna go high in this draft.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_00]: Let me see how many of it's alignment Lance has in the top 10.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_00]: One,
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_00]: He's got two, let's see between 11, let's see between 20 and 25.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_00]: How many between there?
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_00]: One, two, three.
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_00]: You've got to look at it strategically if you're,
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_00]: If they go online in that area there, they're going to get a good player.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_00]: If they get this kid cashier's house or messador from Miami, I think my stores here's what he says about him.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_00]: Here's my store.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Here's his strengths, blends rapid determination with coaching of a great Hall of Fame, defense event, and Jason Taylor.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Use his finesse and power depending on the approach and opponent.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_00]: It appears to game momentum and speed on the turn means he runs the hoop well.
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_00]: Effective inside your old step helps shrink the corner.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's got that step that he's got that mica parsing step.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's a lateral step, it's a small step that cuts the corner.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_00]: He can cut the corner and he swings because he's taught by Jason Taylor.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's a great observation by Lance here.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_00]: Discipline and spy quarterbacks, which means he knows bootleg and that means he knows difference between jet wheels, jet sweeps.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_00]: He knows the difference in screen passes.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_00]: He can recognize quick.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_00]: We have six to eight draft picks with cont picks in the first four rounds.
- 1:11:05[SPEAKER_00]: Does how we trade for any other first round pick, skill positions this year, maybe quarter back next year.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_00]: I say if anything, it's gonna be a wide out.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Tyler, I think it'd be a wide out.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's a, let's see, pursuits wide with adequate speed and smart angles, love that.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's his weaknesses.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Lacks to desired height.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_00]: 6-3, I like that guy around 6-4 and up, but to be an elite ad draw sure is 6-3, I think Parsons is around 6-3.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_00]: Speed to power conversion is averaged by league standards.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_00]: Based narrow through engagement leading to unbalanced, music can fall over his pads, not good.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_00]: Desire to chase play direction sets up for counters.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_00]: What that means is this.
- 1:12:07[SPEAKER_00]: If the play goes this way, what he'll do is he'll take instead of getting as deep as the ball, you're taught this by great coaches.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_00]: If a play is going the opposite way, it's going that way, okay?
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_00]: You're not to take pursuit angle because why?
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_00]: Who's got the edge coming back if they run a reverse?
- 1:12:30[SPEAKER_00]: And these coordinators will run reverses.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_00]: You have to have a drop step.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_00]: You have to get as deep as the ball, and then you get in your pursuit eggs.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_00]: You can't, he'll do this, bone plant.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_00]: And I told Jason Taylor this, got to correct that.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_00]: Can plant and then take off.
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_00]: Will you're acceptable to reverses in counter trays?
- 1:12:52[SPEAKER_00]: And Miami got hurt on that a couple times.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I'm talking about his height.
- 1:13:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, it's a technique issue and I think it's a lazy issue that he does when he, it's a lazy issue.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_00]: But I like the kid.
- 1:13:15[SPEAKER_00]: So let me tell you the kid that I'm falling in love with here for the Eagles.
- 1:13:21[SPEAKER_00]: Cashiest, cashiest how, I want you to hear this.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_00]: Now, he's smaller.
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of like, he's a little like retic.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a lot of retic.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_00]: Here's Lance Zerlites on him.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever you think of Wilmic Donald, that's his comparison that he compares him to.
- 1:13:52[SPEAKER_00]: Bendy Eddresher, staying out sack totals, burst in the effortless, or on how's manual.
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_00]: He pairs it with refreshing inside spin counters, tough threatening, his rush could use more cohesive sequencing means multiples.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the one thing Aiden Hutchinson does that this kid doesn't do.
- 1:14:16[SPEAKER_00]: Aiden Hutchinson is an effort guy.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_00]: He'll be a guy that will go one at one.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_00]: This is what Milana struggles on.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_00]: First password doesn't move.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a counter.
- 1:14:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a third and he's got a fourth.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think that comes from his dad.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think that comes from his dad.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_00]: And his dad taught him because his dad played at Michigan, too.
- 1:14:40[SPEAKER_00]: Get a multiple password from him.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's what makes Aiden Hutchinson plus his effort level.
- 1:14:45[SPEAKER_00]: exceptional.
- 1:14:47[SPEAKER_00]: See this kid?
- 1:14:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'd like to kid.
- 1:14:49[SPEAKER_00]: I just think he's kind of too short.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I thought he was taller, 6-2.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_00]: So let's go to Caleb Lomo.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Man, is this not a replacement for Lane Johnson?
- 1:15:04[SPEAKER_00]: 6-6-305.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_00]: Good frame with room for more muscle mass.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_00]: very athletic getting out of stance and into lead pulls or cut off box.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_00]: It means he gets the second level.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_00]: Advocates hands and good quickness in both phases, core strength, keep that core strength is so important with all fits of life because guys tug, you get tugged over, get back up and you can keep your balance.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this right here is
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_00]: He got up's open his outer half to quickly against speed rushers.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_00]: He opens up like this.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_00]: And if you got a guy with an inside move, he's just going to slot the shit out of that.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_00]: Get back inside and come back to underneath.
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_00]: So that's a tough one there.
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_00]: That means he could be beat on inside moves.
- 1:16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Footwork can be sloppy, mirroring inside moves.
- 1:16:13[SPEAKER_00]: So you can go influence and then back inside on him because he opens up too fast.
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_00]: Still learning to find lateral landmarks in the run game.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_00]: What this means is this.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, why do you think defensive linemen move prior pre-snap, where you sometimes
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Because you know what I'm trying to do?
- 1:16:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to give that guy six foot, six, three hundred and ten pounds, three hundred and fifteen pounds.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_00]: A stable landmark for him to hit.
- 1:16:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's trying to hit my outside shoulder and trying to hit my inside shoulder.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_00]: The NFL, there's not anywhere where you try to hit somebody head up.
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_00]: Games play to nangles.
- 1:16:59[SPEAKER_00]: Play to two places, angles in space.
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_00]: So he's trying to hit an angle.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's why defensive line and move.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_00]: because when you're trying to do that guy's coming off the line of scrimmage and he's coming at you, he's trying to hit a landmark.
- 1:17:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you want to give him a clean landmark.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to blow your doors off.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_00]: So you're moving around and that stops his feet.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_00]: In any time you stop a player's feet, you win.
- 1:17:29[SPEAKER_00]: So you're trying to stop the feet.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's why, hey, listen, that's why replacing Lane is going to be virtually impossible.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what Lane does so well, his feet are fucking unbelievable.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_00]: And for a guy that's a 500-pound bench presser at six, six, his own distance at these ten times stronger than me.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I was just 600 pound bench presser.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_00]: Why is he stronger than me?
- 1:18:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because it was length of his arms.
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_00]: Should I could be a bench presser and be a 600 pound bencher?
- 1:18:07[SPEAKER_00]: But if I don't get him off the line of scrimmage and I'm not quicker than him off the line, his reach alone's gonna stuff me.
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_00]: When you have a reach like that, like you got cream, I've dual jubbar reach, you can't defend that.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you've gotta do things and you gotta beat him with speed.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_00]: You've got to be a force.
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's why Aaron Donald was such a freak in nature.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_00]: Aaron Donald was do that was he six feet tall.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_00]: He's 275.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_00]: How did he beat people?
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't beat people with power.
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_00]: Even though he's a 550 pound bench wrestler, he ran like four sixes, four sevens, but he was six feet.
- 1:18:48[SPEAKER_00]: How did he get their angles?
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_00]: Got the angle.
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_00]: He never did things head up because he would get blown through.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_00]: You're planning to get to a six foot six guy.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care who you are.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_00]: Big dudes beat little dudes up.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_00]: Mass beats ass.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_00]: Always.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_00]: And but he used angles.
- 1:19:08[SPEAKER_00]: Replacing lane is going to replacing AJ will be easier.
- 1:19:13[SPEAKER_00]: Number replacing lane and both are impossible to replace.
- 1:19:22[SPEAKER_00]: God, you're going to get away with that.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to get away with your own dots and nobody cares about that place or about that space.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_00]: But the two dudes you can't replace, here's the order.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_00]: Lane, AJ, and Jalen Phillips.
- 1:19:40[SPEAKER_00]: Those three dudes, I want to see you replace those three dudes.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_00]: The story of your offseason is going to come down to three players.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_00]: Lane, AJ, and Philips, we were placing them with those three guys, a draft pick, who?
- 1:19:58[SPEAKER_00]: You think a draft pick is going to come in and have the impact and the footwork and the tenacity and the experience of those three guys never happened, like unless you're drafting
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_00]: They drafted Michael Parsons to be an offline backer, not a password, sir.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody got injured in Dallas.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_00]: They put him down and it stands to figure out, wow, he can rush the password.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_00]: That was all by luck.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_00]: That's by luck.
- 1:20:40[SPEAKER_00]: So the order, in my opinion,
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_00]: and Jalen Phillips.
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_00]: And here to the structure of the units, Jalen Phillips is probably gonna be more of a structural issue for the defense because the edged setting.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Phillips, our Jalen's hunt is still developing.
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_00]: So what am I gonna do if I'm a coordinator?
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have Jalen Phillips over there, and you got a rookie, I'm running right at that rookie.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_00]: We got behind him.
- 1:21:18[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, that means more double teams on Carter.
- 1:21:21[SPEAKER_00]: Your structures kind of messed up a bit here.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_00]: Once again, you're like at the beginning of the season, trying to figure out, well, your edge guys are going to be.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_00]: So let's say Johnson comes back a year, get proctor whose arm length is 3335, which is great.
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Haven't played guard a year.
- 1:21:41[SPEAKER_00]: Put him, yeah, put him in the, he'll beat Steve now.
- 1:21:48[SPEAKER_00]: Tyler Steene is a backup offensive lineman.
- 1:21:51[SPEAKER_00]: And in some places around the league, he's probably a starter.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like Tyler Steene could start pretty much on 70% of the offensive lines in the NFL.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_00]: But in Philly, that's the standard was dropped.
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's not better than Isaac Samilo.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he was actually better than Cam, who played the guard.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_00]: To back then, he was the lesser of all those guys the last four years.
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_00]: Would it be not agree?
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_00]: Guys would do, he's a good player, but he's not, you know, he did his job, he was okay, but it wasn't really a then when you have the effects of laying being out, camped down playing, he kinda is a guy.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_00]: He never, Tylerstein never benefited like back then did from a healthy camp and a healthy lane.
- 1:22:47[SPEAKER_00]: So you never really know what kind of play you're looking at.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_00]: He may be better.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, he might be.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he, I don't know.
- 1:22:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but I don't know what kind of body shape is and I just got to tell him you're laying and I'm already concerned 13 surgeries.
- 1:23:12[SPEAKER_00]: L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L
- 1:23:42[SPEAKER_00]: See, these guys down here at this spot, this Lomo kid, I don't like that he can't take on speed rushers.
- 1:23:49[SPEAKER_00]: Wait a minute, you're gonna go to the NFL.
- 1:23:51[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna have a nightmare, kid.
- 1:23:54[SPEAKER_00]: If you're gonna go and play against a guy like Miles Garrett or if you gotta play, micro Parsons.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_00]: And with that schedule, they're playing, playing.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, where's the kid?
- 1:24:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, here's Fano.
- 1:24:12[SPEAKER_00]: six, six, three away, three-year starter with experience.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_00]: How old is he?
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_00]: See, you talk in, says age.
- 1:24:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see his age.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_00]: Three years starter has extensive reps in prominent run blocking schemes.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_00]: Good hand strike quickness and allowed to fire out.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_00]: Accelerates feet and runs through angle blocks on contact.
- 1:24:46[SPEAKER_00]: That means he doesn't run to the point.
- 1:24:50[SPEAKER_00]: He runs through the point.
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'll tell you guys, it was I was so close to going to work for the Raiders in their personnel department.
- 1:25:01[SPEAKER_00]: I remember, like I was talking with Al Davis, I forget what year the draft was.
- 1:25:06[SPEAKER_00]: It was Kyle, the year of the Ricky Dudley draft for Ohio State.
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember I'm sitting in there and I'm watching Ricky Dudley.
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_00]: He was a tight end.
- 1:25:14[SPEAKER_00]: He went in and I'm going to the first round in the Raiders took him.
- 1:25:17[SPEAKER_00]: Al Davis stabbed me to come in and watch GameFilm on him.
- 1:25:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm watching him and I'm watching his hands.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm watching his feet.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_00]: Al Davis goes like this to me.
- 1:25:30[SPEAKER_00]: There's what do you think of them?
- 1:25:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I was in there about two hours.
- 1:25:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I was watching a game film.
- 1:25:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember calling to him and saying, this was right before the April draft.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_00]: 96 draft, thank you, Kyle.
- 1:25:46[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Rasputin.
- 1:25:49[SPEAKER_00]: I remember, I go like, and I go, and I don't think he's a fourth rounder.
- 1:25:55[SPEAKER_00]: Cause John Groen wants to take him in the first round.
- 1:25:59[SPEAKER_00]: Jack Rude and I got a new argument over this.
- 1:26:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's fourth rounder.
- 1:26:04[SPEAKER_00]: Jack was, you don't know if they'll tell you talking about your radio guy.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'll Davis goes, I'm thinking of hiring him in my person on the parliament.
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_00]: John looked over at me and he goes, you out, really?
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_00]: So John and I didn't speak after that.
- 1:26:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a fourth rounder.
- 1:26:21[SPEAKER_00]: Raiders took him number one.
- 1:26:25[SPEAKER_00]: Out came to me two years later, still on the air.
- 1:26:28[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, let's have lunch because you were right by Dudley.
- 1:26:32[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, he was you want a job?
- 1:26:34[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, and I'm doing after news now.
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_00]: So when I got down to Tampa, doing mornings, kiss who John grew and brought with him, Ricky Dudley.
- 1:26:44[SPEAKER_00]: And how am I now here going?
- 1:26:45[SPEAKER_00]: Guys is stiff.
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_00]: I said it to Al.
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_00]: He was a stiff.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_00]: John's not very good in personnel.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's what his downfall was when he was in Tampa.
- 1:27:04[SPEAKER_00]: And this is why how he doesn't let coaches get in the way any longer of making selections.
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_00]: Let the personnel people in the building do the job.
- 1:27:15[SPEAKER_00]: The coach doesn't really sit there and analyze a guy who's a prospect.
- 1:27:21[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't watch that film.
- 1:27:23[SPEAKER_00]: He watches NFL guys.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, when you're a guy like Jeff Stoutland or your Vic Fangio, you know what you are?
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_00]: You're sitting here watching Proto types.
- 1:27:36[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know what the guy's name is.
- 1:27:38[SPEAKER_00]: And so after a while, how he gets a sense of what kind of defense event you're looking for.
- 1:27:45[SPEAKER_00]: yet Ricky Dudley to tie in.
- 1:27:47[SPEAKER_00]: Here, what kind of player does Vick Fagio likes?
- 1:27:52[SPEAKER_00]: He likes high motor, versatility, smart, great tacklers, play in space.
- 1:28:05[SPEAKER_00]: How he goes out, it will take 200
- 1:28:10[SPEAKER_00]: How we will go out and go like this.
- 1:28:12[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, Vic, I want to show you five guys.
- 1:28:15[SPEAKER_00]: So Vic will sit down during the draft time and he'll start looking and go and like this, I like that guy and that guy and that guy.
- 1:28:22[SPEAKER_00]: So he'll pair it down to three out of the five.
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_00]: Then how we will go back, they'll do their due diligence over those three guys.
- 1:28:31[SPEAKER_00]: And how we will look at it and because he probably takes the opinions of Stoutland and Vic way more than anyone else on his coaching staff and they'll do their due diligence, then they'll try to pair it down and they'll pick three guys.
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_00]: Every single person out guys, especially when you're picking into 20s like 23, how he's got five or six guys per position.
- 1:28:53[SPEAKER_00]: The problem you have when you get down to 23 and down into 30s,
- 1:28:57[SPEAKER_00]: What are you going to take the fifth best linebacker?
- 1:28:59[SPEAKER_00]: No, you got to start taking after 15.
- 1:29:03[SPEAKER_00]: Ron Wolf told me this after 15 usually and almost always in every draft.
- 1:29:09[SPEAKER_00]: After 15, you know what you do?
- 1:29:11[SPEAKER_00]: You take the best player available.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_00]: Because in any given draft, there's not 32 first routers.
- 1:29:19[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you're out of your mind if you think that.
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_00]: Just because you go into first round, does it mean you're a first round talent?
- 1:29:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's the biggest mistake that could no one smashed on a first round peck.
- 1:29:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's just not.
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_00]: He never was.
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_00]: I never thought he was.
- 1:29:37[SPEAKER_00]: I never thought it was a good peck.
- 1:29:40[SPEAKER_00]: Barrett Brooks liked it.
- 1:29:42[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, it's too small.
- 1:29:46[SPEAKER_00]: Then you see the player.
- 1:29:47[SPEAKER_00]: Now look, I'll say this about Kobe.
- 1:29:49[SPEAKER_00]: Nick Kobe, I said this about him.
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_00]: I just think he was very good.
- 1:29:54[SPEAKER_00]: Turned out he was good, but the one thing that I was right on, he was never going to be built for the, he's not built for the NFL.
- 1:30:03[SPEAKER_00]: He like, Denzel Paraman is his same size.
- 1:30:06[SPEAKER_00]: They have maybe even smaller.
- 1:30:08[SPEAKER_00]: But Denzel, he's played 13 years.
- 1:30:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't think Denzel was built for it, but he was.
- 1:30:15[SPEAKER_00]: Some guys are just freaking natures.
- 1:30:20[SPEAKER_00]: Not knowing Smith is not a first round talent.
- 1:30:23[SPEAKER_00]: First round talent means this, availability too.
- 1:30:28[SPEAKER_00]: Dude, just because you're good, and you show skill set, you gotta play 17 games.
- 1:30:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's part of it.
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, sales he's got first round talent, but he can't play, and he can only work half the week.
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well, fuck he's not a first round talent then.
- 1:30:51[SPEAKER_00]: We'll guess what, Daz, I'm not wrong.
- 1:30:54[SPEAKER_00]: He won't be on the team in the off season.
- 1:30:58[SPEAKER_00]: He won't get a contract.
- 1:31:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not wrong.
- 1:31:09[SPEAKER_00]: Started watching after Mikey miss went offline.
- 1:31:13[SPEAKER_00]: Never went back to Terrestrial.
- 1:31:15[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Pierce appreciate that, my friend.
- 1:31:21[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a mistake, a guy who's missed 24 or 51 games in the last four years, that says, that's a mistake.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, kid, get a pay guy who plays and works half the year.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's not how that works.
- 1:31:37[SPEAKER_00]: Follow the money, that's not how that works.
- 1:31:43[SPEAKER_00]: Here, look at this.
- 1:31:45[SPEAKER_00]: If they don't bring deep back, it's a huge mistake.
- 1:31:48[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 1:31:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's a huge mistake for bringing a guy back, who can't stay healthy.
- 1:31:54[SPEAKER_00]: OK?
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, he's going to get a nice offer by somebody else.
- 1:32:02[SPEAKER_00]: I said, I'd like to see if he could do it in the box.
- 1:32:08[SPEAKER_00]: So you thought Nolan was a bad pick at 30?
- 1:32:11[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Nolan Smith, I said this.
- 1:32:13[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Nolan Smith would be a project player.
- 1:32:18[SPEAKER_00]: because of his size, and he was hurt at Georgia.
- 1:32:24[SPEAKER_00]: How he likes these undersized dudes.
- 1:32:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, by the way, weight room is not gonna help you.
- 1:32:34[SPEAKER_00]: Dude, what thing about Dean, too?
- 1:32:37[SPEAKER_00]: Do you want him on your team?
- 1:32:39[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 1:32:40[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think he's a good player?
- 1:32:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:32:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I do.
- 1:32:46[SPEAKER_00]: What that's irrelevant.
- 1:32:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's completely irrelevant in this conversation.
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_00]: They took Nolan to replace Reddit, correct.
- 1:32:59[SPEAKER_00]: And then when they real, why do you think they, okay, so ask yourself this David, when they took Nolan, what was the next move they made at Edge?
- 1:33:07[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember?
- 1:33:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's when they gave Huff to contract because they thought Nolan couldn't do it.
- 1:33:16[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, and then, they drafted a dude in the third round in hot.
- 1:33:22[SPEAKER_00]: Do you tell me how they're thinking?
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_00]: Then, they went out and they traded for Jalen Phillips.
- 1:33:30[SPEAKER_00]: You tell me what they think of Nolan.
- 1:33:33[SPEAKER_00]: Go by their actions, right?
- 1:33:39[SPEAKER_00]: All right, guys, do me a favor, please hit the like button.
- 1:33:42[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate the super today, by the way, super both 60.
- 1:33:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, by the way, battle Roy Allen for 30.
- 1:33:48[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so, hey, guess what?
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to start with some of these conversations that we had.
- 1:33:55[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember the conversation that I had last year with everybody saying, do you believe that how we rosemen mortgage the 2025 season for the future?
- 1:34:09[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:34:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here we are.
- 1:34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Okay?
- 1:34:14[SPEAKER_00]: My question would be, how was that planned out?
- 1:34:21[SPEAKER_00]: How do you think 2026 is setting up?
- 1:34:25[SPEAKER_00]: He mortgage the 25 season by some of the
