- 0:01Speaker 1: If you were alive, you know exactly where you were
- 0:05Speaker 1: on this date many decades ago. Now you know exactly
- 0:12Speaker 1: who you called first, probably after the attacks on this
- 0:15Speaker 1: country happened on nine to eleven. You remember a country
- 0:21Speaker 1: afterwards that was angry, that was enraged, but was also
- 0:27Speaker 1: very much just united. You know how people responded with kindness,
- 0:34Speaker 1: with love, and with support for one another. In fact,
- 0:38Speaker 1: we did the complete opposite of what now seems to
- 0:41Speaker 1: be what motivates people, which is how are you and
- 0:44Speaker 1: I different? Back then, it was we're all Americans, and
- 0:49Speaker 1: we're all the same, and we love each other, and
- 0:52Speaker 1: we want to help each other. And our differences you
- 0:54Speaker 1: didn't see. Our differences did not define us. You fast
- 1:01Speaker 1: forward to the anniversary of nine to eleven, and this
- 1:05Speaker 1: country looks very different than it did after two thousand
- 1:09Speaker 1: and one. We now live in a time in this
- 1:12Speaker 1: country where the President of the United States of America
- 1:15Speaker 1: and the Department of Defense, within weeks of the anniversary
- 1:18Speaker 1: of nine to eleven sent out an unconstonable letter to
- 1:22Speaker 1: the victims of nine to eleven, and the victims of
- 1:27Speaker 1: nine to eleven were in shock by what they had
- 1:30Speaker 1: to read.
- 1:32Speaker 2: A letter that stated that Kaleage.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Sheik Muhammad, the mastermind of nine to eleven, was probably
- 1:40Speaker 1: going to get a pre deal that would spare him
- 1:44Speaker 1: a death sentence. Why, because you had a president of
- 1:50Speaker 1: the United States of America and Joe Biden that cared
- 1:53Speaker 1: more about trying to be the guy that said, I
- 1:55Speaker 1: closed down Guantanamo Bay, I closed down Gitmo, then he
- 2:00Speaker 1: cared about justice for the man who planned nine to eleven. Luckily,
- 2:07Speaker 1: because of outrage from listeners just like you and exposing
- 2:13Speaker 1: that plan, Senator Ted Cruz and I helped expose it
- 2:17Speaker 1: and it went viral. Many Americans picked up the phone,
- 2:20Speaker 1: called their elected officials and said, no, we will not
- 2:26Speaker 1: stand by while you guys give a get out of
- 2:28Speaker 1: jail free card to the man who planned the mastermind
- 2:32Speaker 1: of nine to eleven, Khalid Shaik Muhammad, and others who
- 2:35Speaker 1: conspired to create and kill on nine to eleven. You
- 2:40Speaker 1: think about this president and the threats that we have
- 2:45Speaker 1: against this country right now and our vulnerabilities, you would
- 2:49Speaker 1: think that if you look back over what happened on
- 2:52Speaker 1: nine to eleven, you would understand just how important it
- 2:56Speaker 1: would be to secure our southern border. Not because of
- 2:59Speaker 1: the illegal immigrant coming across that border, but because of
- 3:03Speaker 1: the terrorists who are coming across that border. Now, some
- 3:07Speaker 1: of you that are listening right now may say, well, Ben,
- 3:09Speaker 1: that's a big that's a big leap right there. How
- 3:11Speaker 1: can you say they are terrorists coming across the border.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You're assuming or you're going too far, you're saying, you're
- 3:19Speaker 1: you're you're saying things that just aren't true. Okay, let's
- 3:22Speaker 1: talk about that. It is a fact. I want to
- 3:26Speaker 1: make this very very clear. It is a fact that
- 3:30Speaker 1: though that men who are on the terrorists watch lists
- 3:34Speaker 1: have been caught coming across our southern border, in fact,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's happening on a more regular basis where people that
- 3:41Speaker 1: are on the terrorists watch lists are caught. We know
- 3:44Speaker 1: that the majority of people that come across our southern border,
- 3:49Speaker 1: the majority are not caught. The majority are guidaways who
- 3:53Speaker 1: get through without us being able to stop them or
- 3:56Speaker 1: screen them or check to see if we can even
- 4:00Speaker 1: figure out who they actually are. That is the reality
- 4:04Speaker 1: of the situation. What's even more shocking than that is
- 4:09Speaker 1: the fact that even when we do catch people on
- 4:12Speaker 1: the terror watch lists coming across our southern border, we
- 4:15Speaker 1: don't seem to have a policy from this administration that
- 4:18Speaker 1: would then correct the problem when they're reminded of Hey,
- 4:21Speaker 1: our southern border is wide open. If you're a terrorist
- 4:26Speaker 1: and there are still terrs out there that want to
- 4:28Speaker 1: kill us, they want to kill innocent men, women and children.
- 4:31Speaker 1: That's not fear mongering, that's reality. If you don't believe me,
- 4:34Speaker 1: look at what they put on social media that Look
- 4:36Speaker 1: at what they put out on the internet. Look at
- 4:40Speaker 1: what they say and what they do. They are still
- 4:44Speaker 1: trying to do another nine to eleven. There is still
- 4:47Speaker 1: Isis and there is still El Kaieda. There are still
- 4:50Speaker 1: al Shabab and other terrorist groups out there. They are
- 4:53Speaker 1: still recruiting, they are still raising money, they are still
- 4:55Speaker 1: planning for attacks. Luckily, we got our heads out of
- 4:59Speaker 1: our rear after nine to eleven and started playing offense.
- 5:04Speaker 1: But there is a problem. On the anniversary of nine
- 5:07Speaker 1: to eleven, we have a massive problem, and that problem
- 5:11Speaker 1: is our open border.
- 5:15Speaker 2: We have a.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Border that if you are a terrorist, it would be
- 5:18Speaker 1: the number one way that you would get into the
- 5:22Speaker 1: United States of America.
- 5:23Speaker 2: This is how you would do it.
- 5:26Speaker 1: If you are a terrorist and you want to break
- 5:28Speaker 1: into the United States of America. You would go through Mexico.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you. Terrorists aren't stupid. They don't want to
- 5:34Speaker 1: get caught. Terrists want to do the complete opposite of
- 5:38Speaker 1: getting caught. They want to be successful, and they want
- 5:41Speaker 1: to be able to break in and get into a
- 5:43Speaker 1: country without you finding them, so that they can then
- 5:45Speaker 1: continue to plan their attack. And my worry is, as
- 5:51Speaker 1: we talk about the anniversary of nine to eleven, is
- 5:53Speaker 1: that we are going to have another attack on this
- 5:55Speaker 1: country and we're going to find out afterwards that we
- 5:59Speaker 1: could have avoided that attack, but we chose not to
- 6:01Speaker 1: avoid that attack. And why did we choose not to
- 6:03Speaker 1: avoid that attack? Because we decided to allow for people
- 6:07Speaker 1: like Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, and others.
- 6:12Speaker 1: We allowed for our open border to be used by
- 6:15Speaker 1: our enemies, people that say out loud death to America,
- 6:19Speaker 1: people that say they want to kill innocent people, people
- 6:22Speaker 1: that say they want to redo nine to eleven on
- 6:24Speaker 1: a level that we have never seen before. That is
- 6:28Speaker 1: the truth is a situation. And yet here we are
- 6:32Speaker 1: having this conversation. Here, we are having this conversation right
- 6:37Speaker 1: now knowing what nine to eleven was now, why have
- 6:41Speaker 1: we allowed this to happen. There's a couple different theories.
- 6:45Speaker 1: One of them could be that maybe there's so many
- 6:47Speaker 1: new people that are younger that don't remember nine to
- 6:50Speaker 1: eleven and don't remember actually what nine to eleven is.
- 6:54Speaker 1: An example of that is just through the age here,
- 6:57Speaker 1: it's twenty twenty three to one thousand and one, twenty
- 7:01Speaker 1: two years. In twenty two years, there's a lot of
- 7:04Speaker 1: people that were not even alive twenty two years later
- 7:07Speaker 1: when nine to eleven happened. A twenty one year old
- 7:09Speaker 1: would not remember. A twenty two year old, a twenty
- 7:11Speaker 1: three year old, a twenty four year old, even a
- 7:12Speaker 1: twenty five year old may not remember nine to eleven
- 7:16Speaker 1: at all. A twenty six or a twenty seven year
- 7:19Speaker 1: old may barely remember it but not really remember it.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And when you don't remember it because you weren't there,
- 7:26Speaker 1: it doesn't have the same impact on your life. Just
- 7:29Speaker 1: like Vietnam, in a generation, you can forget what was
- 7:33Speaker 1: actually going on. Many people don't even remember the Gulf War,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and that was in the nineties. The majority of people
- 7:41Speaker 1: that are alive today, probably if you do the stats,
- 7:44Speaker 1: were not alive when the Gulf War happened and what
- 7:47Speaker 1: was at ninety one. I was very young when that happened.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I remember it barely, but I remember it. I remember
- 7:53Speaker 1: the sky being lit up with a green looked like
- 7:55Speaker 1: green lights, right, and the green fireworks as I remember
- 7:58Speaker 1: watching it on CNN with Peter Arnett. But if you
- 8:02Speaker 1: weren't older, you would probably not remember nine to eleven.
- 8:08Speaker 1: If you're twenty five or twenty six and under, you
- 8:11Speaker 1: do not remember it the way that I remember it
- 8:14Speaker 1: at the age of forty two. And that's part of
- 8:17Speaker 1: the reason why I think now nine to eleven has
- 8:20Speaker 1: become an afterthought. People have forgotten about the evil in
- 8:23Speaker 1: the world now. I am so proud of the United
- 8:25Speaker 1: States of America for keeping us safe, and I'm proud
- 8:28Speaker 1: that we went on offense for the last twenty one years.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I'm glad that we took the word to them before
- 8:33Speaker 1: they could bring it back to us again. I'm proud
- 8:36Speaker 1: of that. But the reality is we have an open
- 8:38Speaker 1: southern border right now, and my worry is that they
- 8:40Speaker 1: are using that border to come after us every day.
- 8:45Speaker 1: There are two different economies that are growing bigger and bigger.
- 8:47Speaker 1: One of them is powered by everyday Americans who are
- 8:50Speaker 1: sick and tired of all the propaganda being jammed into
- 8:53Speaker 1: every product that we're consuming.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Well, big mobile companies are no different.
- 8:58Speaker 1: For years, they've been dumping mill millions and millions into
- 9:01Speaker 1: leftist causes, including planned parenthood. And you had to have
- 9:04Speaker 1: a cell phone, and that's the reason why you paid
- 9:07Speaker 1: that bill, because you didn't have an alternative.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Well guess what, Now there's an alternative. Patriot Mobile.
- 9:13Speaker 1: They are America's only Christian conservative wireless provider and they
- 9:17Speaker 1: use your money to fight back. They offer you dependable
- 9:20Speaker 1: nationwide coverage on all three major networks, so you get
- 9:24Speaker 1: the best possible service in your area without the woke politics. Now,
- 9:29Speaker 1: when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you are sending a
- 9:32Speaker 1: loud message that you support free speech, religious freedom, the
- 9:35Speaker 1: sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, and our military veterans
- 9:39Speaker 1: and first responder heroes. They have one hundred percent US
- 9:42Speaker 1: based customer service team as well, so they make switching easy.
- 9:45Speaker 1: You had to keep your phone, keep your phone number two.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Just go to Patriotmobile dot com, slash ferguson or call
- 9:53Speaker 1: them eight seven eight Patriot get free activation today with
- 9:57Speaker 1: the offer code Ferguson, ask about their coverage guarantees while
- 10:01Speaker 1: you're there, get the same dependable service that you want,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and take a stand for the values that you demand.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash Ferguson or eight seven eight patriot.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I want to bring up another issue about this border
- 10:17Speaker 1: and Democrats are freaking out over the southern border. Why
- 10:22Speaker 1: because it's become a political issue that's hurting them now.
- 10:27Speaker 1: The border was never their problem until the border crisis
- 10:30Speaker 1: started moving to liberal cities. New reports show that President
- 10:36Speaker 1: Biden is now considering a plan after Democratic mayors and
- 10:40Speaker 1: governors are getting angry at him, that would require illegal
- 10:44Speaker 1: aliens with doubtful asylum claims to remain in Texas. So
- 10:49Speaker 1: instead of putting a wall up between Texas and Mexico,
- 10:55Speaker 1: in essence, what would be happening is the president United
- 10:58Speaker 1: States of America would beating a wall around Texas with
- 11:03Speaker 1: illegal immigrants to the rest of the country. Now, this
- 11:06Speaker 1: move would force the lone star state to absorb tens
- 11:09Speaker 1: of thousands of illegal aliens every week. Why because the
- 11:14Speaker 1: Biden administration officials, who spoke anonymously to the Los Angeles Times,
- 11:18Speaker 1: said the plan is being considered so that newly arrived
- 11:21Speaker 1: border crossers fail their initial asylum screenings, Immigration and Customs
- 11:26Speaker 1: enforcement agents can quote more easily locate into poort illegal
- 11:30Speaker 1: aliens within Texas since they would be close to the
- 11:35Speaker 1: border with Mexico. Translation, they've had enough of Democrats losing
- 11:41Speaker 1: their minds over illegal immigrants coming to their cities. Look
- 11:46Speaker 1: no further than Mayor Eric Adams, who said the migrant
- 11:50Speaker 1: crisis quote will destroy New York City. It will destroy it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Now he doesn't have that many illegal immigrants in New
- 11:57Speaker 1: York City compared to the eight million people that live
- 11:58Speaker 1: in New York City, but he's now freaking out. And
- 12:01Speaker 1: what I say is welcome to the rest of the country.
- 12:04Speaker 1: My friend, listen to this from Mayor Adams talking about
- 12:07Speaker 1: how bad the crisis is, yet refusing to tell the
- 12:10Speaker 1: president to secure the border.
- 12:13Speaker 3: We turned this city around in twenty months, and then.
- 12:17Speaker 2: What happened.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Started with a madman down in Texas decided he wanted
- 12:24Speaker 3: to bust people up to New York City. One hundred
- 12:28Speaker 3: and ten thousand migrants. We have to feed, clothes, house,
- 12:36Speaker 3: educate the children, watch their laundry sheets, give them everything
- 12:41Speaker 3: they need, healthcare and this team here. We stated, let's
- 12:46Speaker 3: do everything possible before we have to push it out
- 12:49Speaker 3: into neighborhoods and communities. Month after month, I stood up
- 12:53Speaker 3: and I said, this is going to come to a
- 12:55Speaker 3: neighborhood near you. Well, we're here. We're here. We getting
- 13:01Speaker 3: no support on this national crisis, and we're receiving no support.
- 13:08Speaker 3: And let me tell you something, New York is. Never
- 13:12Speaker 3: in my life have I had a problem that I
- 13:16Speaker 3: did not see an ending.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Two.
- 13:18Speaker 3: I don't see an ending to this. I don't see
- 13:22Speaker 3: an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City.
- 13:29Speaker 2: This is the same mayor.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Who just a year ago was advocating for giving illegal
- 13:35Speaker 1: immigrants everything five star, four star hotel rooms, Candyland, and
- 13:43Speaker 1: every board game. They wanted free food and telling people
- 13:47Speaker 1: like pizza parlors to give them food. We were a welcoming,
- 13:51Speaker 1: loving city. What happened to Eric Adams of twenty twenty one?
- 13:55Speaker 1: In fact, in twenty twenty one, he wanted them to
- 13:58Speaker 1: keep coming to New York because they there were such
- 14:00Speaker 1: a loving city.
- 14:02Speaker 3: When you think about it, the days I spent without
- 14:06Speaker 3: essential employees, a substantial number of them were undocumented. They
- 14:12Speaker 3: were delivering our Uber eats. They were stocking our stores.
- 14:16Speaker 3: They were out in the streets keeping our city running.
- 14:19Speaker 3: We have to expand NYC Care to make sure everyone
- 14:23Speaker 3: has healthcare. We need to make sure we have proper
- 14:25Speaker 3: translation services in our schools.
- 14:28Speaker 2: We need the cheap labor.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Right, you want to talk about by the way, you
- 14:32Speaker 1: want to talk about racism. Those are some of the
- 14:34Speaker 1: most racist comments I've ever heard about illegal immigrants.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Right.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Oh, there there ones bringing me my uber eats. Right,
- 14:41Speaker 1: that's what they are. They're delivering my uber eats out.
- 14:44Speaker 1: They're the ones stocking my stores.
- 14:46Speaker 2: That's racism. That is racism.
- 14:49Speaker 1: And you've got a mayor who in twenty twenty one
- 14:52Speaker 1: was like, bring them all to me by the way
- 14:55Speaker 1: over at the view. Yeah, they're all in favor of
- 14:59Speaker 1: illegal immigrants coming America. They just want to deport them
- 15:01Speaker 1: to places where they don't live. Right, Send them down
- 15:06Speaker 1: there to Louisiana where the alligators are. Let them hang
- 15:09Speaker 1: out down there. I don't want them in New York City.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Pay you know, I think we need to find and
- 15:14Speaker 5: we've dealt with this before. I lived in Miami. I
- 15:17Speaker 5: was a migrant, an immigrant in Miami in the eighties,
- 15:20Speaker 5: you'll remember when we had the Mario boat lift. Yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 5: one hundred and twenty five thousand Cubans came in a
- 15:26Speaker 5: matter of six months. It puts tremendous stress on a city,
- 15:32Speaker 5: on a community, on the social services. They need to
- 15:36Speaker 5: be resettled elsewhere.
- 15:38Speaker 1: They need to be resettled elsewhere where. Do you want
- 15:40Speaker 1: to send them to the circus to ride the tricycles?
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm serious, what do you want to do? Give them jobs?
- 15:46Speaker 2: Right?
- 15:46Speaker 1: Oh, come over here, be an exterminator for critters and things,
- 15:50Speaker 1: you illegal immigrants. I need you to grab my past
- 15:52Speaker 1: them out of my backyard, and then I need you
- 15:54Speaker 1: to get the hell away.
- 15:55Speaker 2: This is on.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Navarro, right, She claims, she'esus grand You know, I'm a cube,
- 16:00Speaker 1: an American. I've come to this country, and we need
- 16:03Speaker 1: to send them somewhere else.
- 16:04Speaker 5: On a city, on a community, on the social services.
- 16:09Speaker 5: They need to be resettled elsewhere.
- 16:11Speaker 1: They need to be resettled elsewhere. Oh okay, So you
- 16:14Speaker 1: want them to come into America?
- 16:16Speaker 2: Right?
- 16:17Speaker 1: You want them to come into this country. You just
- 16:20Speaker 1: don't want them where you live at your Central Park estate. No, no, no,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I want them to come into this country. Just I
- 16:29Speaker 1: don't want them to come into this country this way. Now,
- 16:32Speaker 1: let's go back to the presents planned to make them
- 16:36Speaker 1: all quote stay in Texas. You want to know how
- 16:40Speaker 1: much of a disaster this would be for Texas. Let
- 16:43Speaker 1: me just give you the numbers for example, so you
- 16:44Speaker 1: understand the latest data. The latest data shows one hundred
- 16:49Speaker 1: and eighty three thousand, five hundred and three illegal immigrants
- 16:51Speaker 1: were encountered. Okay, that means that they touched American border
- 16:55Speaker 1: patrol attempting to cross the US Mexico border in July.
- 17:00Speaker 1: That is a twenty seven percent increase in crossings from
- 17:04Speaker 1: last month alone. Why because the border's wide open, and
- 17:07Speaker 1: all of these people that I just played for you,
- 17:09Speaker 1: they they're admitting there's a problem, but they will refuse
- 17:12Speaker 1: to tell the president to secure the border. More than
- 17:15Speaker 1: seven point two million illegal immigrants have crossed the border
- 17:22Speaker 1: since Biden took office.
- 17:24Speaker 2: What are you gonna do? Leave all seven million in Texas?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Of course not.
- 17:30Speaker 1: This, by the way, includes the five point eight million
- 17:33Speaker 1: I legal immigrants that Customs and Border Protection has encountered.
- 17:38Speaker 2: You also have millions of.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Quote godaways that have escaped past border patrol in the
- 17:43Speaker 1: US and Remember it's the Biden administration that was also
- 17:47Speaker 1: secretly flying illegals from the border into New York State
- 17:52Speaker 1: since at least twenty twenty one in the summer. So one,
- 17:55Speaker 1: are you guys gonna start, you know, criticizing that aspect
- 17:58Speaker 1: of this. But forget all of that and go back
- 18:01Speaker 1: to the point I made about nine to eleven. If
- 18:04Speaker 1: this many people are coming across the border in a month,
- 18:08Speaker 1: how many suspected terrorists or potential terrorists are coming across
- 18:12Speaker 1: the border with the one hundred and eighty three thousand
- 18:15Speaker 1: legal immigrants that were encountered, not including the godaways in
- 18:18Speaker 1: the month of July at twenty seven percent increase in
- 18:22Speaker 1: the crossings from last month. How many terrorists does it
- 18:24Speaker 1: take to commit a Terrorists Act one? How many people
- 18:29Speaker 1: did it take to pull off nine to eleven in
- 18:31Speaker 1: this country? Go count the hijackers. It's not that many
- 18:33Speaker 1: folks to change an entire country. It's not that many.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And yet here we are having this same preposterous conversation
- 18:45Speaker 1: about we need to let all the people come into
- 18:48Speaker 1: this country, and we need to welcome them, but now
- 18:51Speaker 1: we want to ship them off, right, I mean, you
- 18:52Speaker 1: want to talk about just I mean heartless, soulless individuals.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Look at the people at Martha's Vineyard cleared to state
- 19:00Speaker 1: emergency over fifty illegal immigrants that were busted there from Florida.
- 19:05Speaker 1: This is preposterous that we're allowing this to happen. What
- 19:11Speaker 1: they do state emergency. They brought him more National Guard
- 19:13Speaker 1: in Martha's vinyard than the number of illegal immigrants that
- 19:16Speaker 1: got off the bus. And they had him gone in
- 19:17Speaker 1: twenty four hours because they said, hey, come to America,
- 19:19Speaker 1: just don't come where I am. On Navar, do the
- 19:22Speaker 1: same thing, Hey come to America, just not where I am.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I also want to get you in update on something else.
- 19:28Speaker 2: It's important.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Biden allies now are starting to be honest and they're concerned,
- 19:35Speaker 1: saying the President's inability to say no to Hunter Biden
- 19:39Speaker 1: caused avoidable political distractions. A new report out says this
- 19:44Speaker 1: as a new CNN poll is out saying the majority
- 19:48Speaker 1: of Americans say Joe Biden acted inappropriately in Hunter's tax probe. Now,
- 19:55Speaker 1: let me get to that point first. In this new
- 19:58Speaker 1: CNN poll, which is to the president, a majority of
- 20:02Speaker 1: Americans believe President Joe Biden acted inappropriately regarding his Justice
- 20:06Speaker 1: Departments probe into Hunter Biden over potential tax and gun violations.
- 20:12Speaker 1: A recent poll is found. The poll last respondents, as
- 20:16Speaker 1: you may know, Hunter Biden has been under investigation over
- 20:19Speaker 1: potential crimes related to his taxes, lobbying activities, money laundering,
- 20:24Speaker 1: and other possible crimes. Do you think that President Joe
- 20:28Speaker 1: Biden has acted appropriately or inappropriately regarding the investigation into
- 20:32Speaker 1: Hunter Biden question. The poll, which sampled one five hundred
- 20:36Speaker 1: and three adults from August to twenty fifth to the
- 20:39Speaker 1: thirty first, found that fifty five percent of Americans believe
- 20:44Speaker 1: Joe Biden acted inappropriately, while only forty four percent say
- 20:49Speaker 1: he acted appropriately. Among independent voters, a majority fifty two
- 20:55Speaker 1: percent these are swing voters say that Biden acted inappropriately.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Forty eight percent say he acted appropriately. Take a listen
- 21:03Speaker 1: to CNN having to tell these numbers to the American people.
- 21:06Speaker 2: They did not like doing this.
- 21:08Speaker 6: And when you look here about President Biden now serving
- 21:12Speaker 6: as president, his actions in the Hunter Biden probe have
- 21:15Speaker 6: they been appropriate or not? Fifty five percent of Americans
- 21:20Speaker 6: a majority, believe Biden's actions related to the Hunter Biden
- 21:23Speaker 6: probe inappropriate. Twenty four percent of Democrats again, a majority
- 21:27Speaker 6: of Independence fifty two percent, and nearly all Republicans at
- 21:30Speaker 6: ninety percent, believe that.
- 21:31Speaker 2: And this is to.
- 21:32Speaker 6: Show what happens when you don't push back at all,
- 21:36Speaker 6: which is really basically what the White House has been doing.
- 21:38Speaker 6: There's not been a Hunter Biden defense kind of mounted
- 21:42Speaker 6: in a public relations way, and it's starting to seep
- 21:45Speaker 6: through beyond just the right wing echo chamber.
- 21:48Speaker 1: We're seeing I love that, right, beyond just the right
- 21:51Speaker 1: wing echo chamber. So if you and I talk about it,
- 21:55Speaker 1: we're the right wing echo chamber. Right, they got to
- 21:58Speaker 1: throw that at the end. Right, it's he's starting to
- 22:00Speaker 1: seep through, right, He's starting to seep through beyond the
- 22:03Speaker 1: right wing echo chamber. Almost a quarter of Democrats, by
- 22:08Speaker 1: the way, twenty four percent believe Biden acted inappropriately. So
- 22:11Speaker 1: even among his own party partisans twenty five percent, right,
- 22:17Speaker 1: one out of every four say yeah, this guy's he
- 22:19Speaker 1: acted inappropriately.
- 22:22Speaker 2: This comes after in April, the.
- 22:24Speaker 1: IRS whistleblower alleged that two Biden administration political appointees within
- 22:30Speaker 1: the Department of Justice worked to block charges against Hunter
- 22:33Speaker 1: Biden for tax violations against recommendations. They said Joe Biden's
- 22:38Speaker 1: Department of Justice politically interfered in the criminal probe into
- 22:43Speaker 1: his son. They also argued that Hunter Biden was forewarned
- 22:48Speaker 1: of any future searches for material that could be used
- 22:51Speaker 1: as evidence against him, so he could clean out his
- 22:54Speaker 1: storage unit before it was rated. That storage unit, by
- 22:58Speaker 1: the way, they never the DJ never even allowed for
- 23:00Speaker 1: it to be rated at the end of the day. Then,
- 23:04Speaker 1: on top of that, the whistle blowers claimed that the
- 23:06Speaker 1: Assistant US Attorney Leslie Wolf refused to allow investigators to
- 23:12Speaker 1: ask about Joe Biden being the big guy in the investigation.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Wolff also allegedly cautioned the investigation team not to search
- 23:21Speaker 1: Joe Biden's guest house in Delaware for evidence against Hunter
- 23:24Speaker 1: Biden because of the quote unquote optics of the situation.
- 23:31Speaker 1: CBS News put it this way.
- 23:33Speaker 7: With CBS News Exclusive. For more than three years, the
- 23:37Speaker 7: Department of Justice has been investigating the President's son, Hunter
- 23:40Speaker 7: Biden for possible tax crimes. Last fall, FBI sources told
- 23:44Speaker 7: us they had sufficient evidence to bring charges. Cebus A.
- 23:48Speaker 7: Jim Axelrod spoke to the IRS agent who is blowing
- 23:51Speaker 7: the whistle on what he says was preferential treatment in
- 23:54Speaker 7: his first public interview.
- 23:57Speaker 8: When I took control of this particular investigation, I immediately
- 24:01Speaker 8: saw his way outside the norm of what I've experienced
- 24:05Speaker 8: in the past.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Gary Shapley is a supervisory special agent for the IRS,
- 24:10Speaker 4: where he's worked for fourteen years. In January twenty twenty,
- 24:14Speaker 4: he was assigned to what he calls a high profile investigation.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Who's the subject of the investigation.
- 24:20Speaker 8: I can't confirm or deny the subject of this investigation?
- 24:23Speaker 8: Why not, because you know part of the tax secrecy
- 24:26Speaker 8: laws don't allow it.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Shapley can't say it, but CBS News has learned the
- 24:31Speaker 4: investigation was the probe of Hunter Biden by the Trump
- 24:34Speaker 4: appointed US attorney in Delaware. Senior Biden administration officials have
- 24:39Speaker 4: vowed to let it run its course without interference.
- 24:43Speaker 8: It's not restricted in his investigation in any way.
- 24:46Speaker 4: But CBS News has obtained this letter Shapley's lawyers sent
- 24:49Speaker 4: to Congress Monday, alleging irregularities in DJ's handling of the investigation.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Shapley is seeking legal protections from Congress so he can
- 24:58Speaker 4: share specific of his allegations.
- 25:01Speaker 8: There was multiple steps that were or slow walked at
- 25:05Speaker 8: the direction of this Department of Justice?
- 25:09Speaker 4: Had you ever encountered that before?
- 25:11Speaker 8: I have not known these deviations from normal process, and
- 25:15Speaker 8: each and every time it seemed to always benefit the subject.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Shapley says he decided to blow the whistle after a
- 25:22Speaker 4: heated meeting last October with federal prosecutors.
- 25:26Speaker 8: That was my red line meeting. It just got to
- 25:29Speaker 8: that point where that switch was turned on and I
- 25:33Speaker 8: just couldn't silence my conscience anymore.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Did you let prosecutors know you were unhappy?
- 25:39Speaker 8: I don't think I can answer that.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Hunter Biden has denied any wrongdoing. Like civil servants, the
- 25:45Speaker 4: IRS agent told us he is a registered Republican. His
- 25:48Speaker 4: whistle blowing is being assisted by an advocacy group with
- 25:51Speaker 4: past ties to the GOP. But Shapley says, this is
- 25:55Speaker 4: not about politics. Why do you want to navigate these waters?
- 25:59Speaker 4: I don't want to do any of this. I took
- 26:01Speaker 4: an oath of office, and when I saw the egregiousness
- 26:04Speaker 4: of some of these things, it no longer became a
- 26:07Speaker 4: choice for me. It's not something that I want to
- 26:09Speaker 4: do with something that I feel like I.
- 26:10Speaker 8: Have to do.
- 26:12Speaker 1: They are Let me just also tell you one other thing,
- 26:16Speaker 1: about this poll. This CINN poll further discovered that sixty
- 26:21Speaker 1: one percent of Americans now believe that Joe Biden was
- 26:26Speaker 1: involved in his family's business deals with China and Ukraine,
- 26:32Speaker 1: a sign that American's opinion about his involvement in the
- 26:35Speaker 1: family business is significant. Now, just imagine that the media
- 26:40Speaker 1: would have covered this story accurately. You go back to March,
- 26:44Speaker 1: and a Fox News poll found that sixty four percent
- 26:47Speaker 1: of Americans believe Joe Biden did something illegal or at
- 26:51Speaker 1: least unethical. In fact, last December, a similar poll revealed
- 26:55Speaker 1: that sixty two percent of American voters said the President
- 26:59Speaker 1: had done something legal or unethical in connection with the
- 27:02Speaker 1: Biden family business. I go back to what I said
- 27:06Speaker 1: a moment ago. Just imagine if all this was being
- 27:13Speaker 1: adequately covered by the media, how that number may change,
- 27:18Speaker 1: How different that number would be, how big that number
- 27:22Speaker 1: may be. Make sure by the way that you share
