- 0:00Speaker 1: So let's start with one big issue that has happened,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and it is about who is actually funding who is
- 0:09Speaker 1: behind the lawfare chaos in this country. Who is out
- 0:14Speaker 1: there buying our democracy is another way of putting it.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Well.
- 0:19Speaker 1: There is a new book out and the central premise
- 0:22Speaker 1: in Breaking the Law, a expose on weaponization of the
- 0:26Speaker 1: legal system against President Trump and his supporters, is now
- 0:31Speaker 1: exposing exactly who was buying up America's democracy. The funders
- 0:40Speaker 1: of the law fare and the superstructure that are waging
- 0:44Speaker 1: a political battle against maga on behalf of the institutional
- 0:48Speaker 1: left is being paid for by the left's radical multi
- 0:53Speaker 1: millionaires and billionaires. The law itself that has been disregarded
- 0:58Speaker 1: as they use the government to go after their political
- 1:02Speaker 1: enemies aka Donald J. Trump and any of his allies.
- 1:05Speaker 1: It is one hundred percent about politics and making sure
- 1:10Speaker 1: that radicals got elected, just like the Attorney general in
- 1:13Speaker 1: New York by the last name of James. And here's
- 1:17Speaker 1: the other thing that's very interesting about all of this.
- 1:22Speaker 1: They are putting their money together to make sure that
- 1:25Speaker 1: conservatives don't actually get power, and they want them to
- 1:30Speaker 1: be afraid of running. Lawfair is actually about two different
- 1:34Speaker 1: things one, getting rid of the threat you have now,
- 1:37Speaker 1: but it's also about the mental side of things, the
- 1:40Speaker 1: mind game, and the book explains this incredibly well. The
- 1:44Speaker 1: mind game, which is to make other conservatives afraid, terrified
- 1:50Speaker 1: to run for office, saying it's just not worth it.
- 1:54Speaker 1: That is a society of leftism chaos, and they want
- 1:58Speaker 1: to go after conservatives and use the court system to
- 2:02Speaker 1: ruin people's lives. That's when we call it lawfair and
- 2:07Speaker 1: we've witnessed it on a very very high level, going
- 2:11Speaker 1: after the President of the United States of America, right,
- 2:14Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Now, how is it happening? Well, thanks to
- 2:19Speaker 1: the dark money nonprofits, it's impossible to know exactly who
- 2:24Speaker 1: is funding every element of the lawfair apparatus against conservatives.
- 2:30Speaker 1: But we now have some more information because of this
- 2:33Speaker 1: new book, Breaking the Law by Alex Marlowe. He's a
- 2:36Speaker 1: best selling author and a man that you will know,
- 2:39Speaker 1: probably from Breitbart. The book is about exposing the weaponization
- 2:43Speaker 1: of America's legal system against Donald Trump. And it's a
- 2:46Speaker 1: book I'm telling you right now, go buy it now.
- 2:50Speaker 1: The Democratic mega donor Reed Hoffman, we now know, bankrolled
- 2:55Speaker 1: e Gene Carroll's defamation suit against President Donald Trump. So
- 3:00Speaker 1: let's just break that down. You've got a woman that
- 3:03Speaker 1: they went to and said, we'll bankroll you. We've got you,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and you have unlimited funds. I'm a mega donor, my
- 3:10Speaker 1: name is Reed Hoffman, and I'm gonna pay for everything
- 3:13Speaker 1: if you'll just help us take down Donald Trump. And
- 3:16Speaker 1: that was exactly what Egene Carol did. She didn't pay
- 3:20Speaker 1: for it, she basically was paid to do it. In essence,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I regard the case as a well farce, right, a
- 3:27Speaker 1: thoroughly documented farce, is what the book Breaking the Law says. Hoffman,
- 3:33Speaker 1: the mega donor, helped launch PayPal before co founding LinkedIn
- 3:37Speaker 1: in two thousand and two. He's literally worth billions of dollars.
- 3:42Speaker 1: He has also made big bucks from Facebook, big bucks
- 3:46Speaker 1: from Airbnb, and his venture capital firm called Greylock Partners.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Now he's funded a vast array of left wing political
- 3:56Speaker 1: activities ever since he got his cash. We also know
- 3:59Speaker 1: the Hey, it's Donald Trump's saying he would quote spend
- 4:02Speaker 1: as much as I possibly can and it takes to
- 4:06Speaker 1: beat him. And he has well funding a vast array
- 4:10Speaker 1: of left wing political causes through a shadowy dark money
- 4:15Speaker 1: nonprofit network is what the book now states. Now Caroll,
- 4:19Speaker 1: a columnist and comedy writer, was able to hire a
- 4:23Speaker 1: crack legal team, including Times Up Legal Defense Fund founder ROBERTA.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Kaplan.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Kaplan was funded by a nonprofit primarily backed by the
- 4:35Speaker 1: Democratic mega donor Read Hoffman. Yes, follow the money now.
- 4:40Speaker 1: While the saga played out in a one sided New
- 4:43Speaker 1: York City courtroom, Hoffman was making regular visits, we now know,
- 4:48Speaker 1: to Joe Biden's White House. Yes, so there's a very
- 4:52Speaker 1: good chance that Hoffman was taking his orders from the
- 4:55Speaker 1: White House on how to stop Donald Trump now. Hoffman,
- 4:58Speaker 1: known as the quote most connected man in Silicon Valley,
- 5:03Speaker 1: has been criticized for complying with Chinese censorship rules. For example,
- 5:07Speaker 1: while his businesses operated in the country all about profits,
- 5:11Speaker 1: not about actually standing up or doing the right thing
- 5:14Speaker 1: to the Chinese Communist Party. He has praised the Chinese
- 5:18Speaker 1: tech sector as well, and appears to be the only
- 5:21Speaker 1: American to regularly speak at China's World Internet Conferences, which
- 5:27Speaker 1: are designed to amplify Xijiping's vision for the digital age
- 5:31Speaker 1: and are closed to the press. Yet the radical donor
- 5:35Speaker 1: ried Hoffman, He's welcome and speaks naturally. He wanted Biden
- 5:41Speaker 1: to remain president and Trump to lose. That's why he
- 5:45Speaker 1: funded all of the top lawyers for this ridiculous lawsuit
- 5:50Speaker 1: against Donald Trump. He also promoted fake news on behalf
- 5:53Speaker 1: of Democrats, also financing a left wing online disinformation camp
- 6:01Speaker 1: targeting Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore in twenty seventeen. Hoffman,
- 6:07Speaker 1: by the way, issued an apology for this after more
- 6:11Speaker 1: nearly lost his race, so the damage was done. It worked,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and he's like, oh, sorry, my bad. A whistleblowerclaimed by
- 6:18Speaker 1: the way in twenty twenty two that Hoffman's Orwellian name
- 6:23Speaker 1: named Good Information Foundation offered him money to attack Trump
- 6:28Speaker 1: Republicans online despite federal laws prohibiting such political behavior from
- 6:33Speaker 1: five oh one c three organizations.
- 6:36Speaker 2: But did it matter.
- 6:37Speaker 1: No, none of that bothered the powers that be in
- 6:42Speaker 1: Joe Biden's White House. Hoffman is on the board of
- 6:46Speaker 1: Microsoft as well, and was on the Pentagon's Defense and
- 6:51Speaker 1: Innovation Board throughout Biden's presidency, direct access to the White
- 6:56Speaker 1: House whenever he needed it. By the way, he also
- 6:58Speaker 1: admitted to visiting Jeffrey Epstein's island. But don't worry, the
- 7:02Speaker 1: media will never tell you.
- 7:04Speaker 2: That, right.
- 7:05Speaker 1: So, Hoffman runs a shop full of well rabid Trump haters.
- 7:10Speaker 1: His former top political advisor hated Donald Trump, push the
- 7:14Speaker 1: narrative that the assassination attempt in fact on President Trump
- 7:16Speaker 1: and Butler Pennsylvania July twenty twenty four was quote unquote staged.
- 7:22Speaker 1: He split with Hoffman days later to join the Anti
- 7:24Speaker 1: Trump Lincoln Project. Hoffman has backed the group Indivisible, a
- 7:30Speaker 1: well coordinated, well funded, and high powered network of leftist organizations.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Indivisible has claimed credit for both Trump's impeachments plural as
- 7:43Speaker 1: well as other assorted efforts to disqualify him from the
- 7:48Speaker 1: presidential ballot. This is just one of the radicals on
- 7:53Speaker 1: the left that are doing everything they can with their
- 7:57Speaker 1: money to try destroy this country and and to basically
- 8:01Speaker 1: fix elections by putting out lies and misinformation or trying
- 8:06Speaker 1: to lock up people that they don't like politically. Just
- 8:09Speaker 1: let all that set in, all right. I want to

- 10:30Speaker 1: It is the traditional August recess. It's happening right now
- 10:34Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. Congress is back in their districts
- 10:37Speaker 1: in theory, tending to business of listening to the constituents.
- 10:41Speaker 1: That doesn't mean there isn't anything going on with the
- 10:44Speaker 1: House Auto Pen probe. In fact, it's uncovering a lot
- 10:49Speaker 1: about the Biden White House. Even as Congress is on
- 10:52Speaker 1: their traditional recess. The House Oversight Committee, I've been told today,
- 10:57Speaker 1: is still investigating the LEDs cover up a former pres
- 11:00Speaker 1: in Joe Biden's decline, the former president insisting he was
- 11:04Speaker 1: responsible for quote all decisions that came out of the
- 11:07Speaker 1: White House during his time in office, and former staff
- 11:10Speaker 1: members claim they saw no obvious signs of a cognitive decline. Well,
- 11:16Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer discussing the committee's
- 11:21Speaker 1: investigation to whether the Biden administration covered up the cognitive
- 11:24Speaker 1: deterioration of the former president. Now, there's also been the
- 11:28Speaker 1: question of precedent. What is the autopen like in the past,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and can you compare how other government officials used the
- 11:35Speaker 1: autopen in contrast to how it was being used when
- 11:39Speaker 1: Joe Biden was in office. Clearly that would help tremendously
- 11:43Speaker 1: in the investigation. Well, former Speaker of the House new
- 11:47Speaker 1: Gingrich set down with my good friend Mark Levin, and
- 11:50Speaker 1: he was asked about the autopen when he was a
- 11:52Speaker 1: Speaker of the House signing legislation and how big of
- 11:55Speaker 1: a deal it was to use the auto pen. How
- 11:57Speaker 1: seriously was the autopen taken and how much was it
- 12:01Speaker 1: also protected from abuse.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I want you to hear what Newke Gingrich had to
- 12:05Speaker 2: say to Levin.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Luke Gingrich question, when you were Speaker of that House,
- 12:12Speaker 3: I bet you took this signature requirement very seriously. I
- 12:15Speaker 3: bet you took the requirement that a president actually be
- 12:18Speaker 3: present when a bill is signed very very seriously. I
- 12:21Speaker 3: know there's a lot of formalities to the fact when
- 12:24Speaker 3: certain bills are brought, they're brought in a special way,
- 12:27Speaker 3: they're handed to somebody specifically, there's a whole process set up.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Did you ever think you'd see the day where we're
- 12:35Speaker 3: raising serious questions about a former president whether he signed
- 12:39Speaker 3: these bills or if he was present when the bills
- 12:42Speaker 3: were signed.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Well, put it that way. Sure, Look, these people are corrupt, irresponsible,
- 12:49Speaker 4: and happy to exploit the nation for their own game.
- 12:53Speaker 4: So given those kind of people, who knows what they
- 12:56Speaker 4: might do? Oh, I think it does raises you have
- 12:59Speaker 4: brilliantly done in this show today. It raises a very
- 13:03Speaker 4: big question about whether or not these laws are in
- 13:06Speaker 4: fact laws. Remember the founding fathers understood that you had
- 13:11Speaker 4: to have a pretty strict series of rules or the
- 13:15Speaker 4: whole system breaks down into a kind of corruption which
- 13:19Speaker 4: undermines the rule of law. The rule of law requires rules,
- 13:23Speaker 4: and one of those rules is that the president signs
- 13:26Speaker 4: built Now he can direct an auto pen for things
- 13:30Speaker 4: that are ceremonial. Christmas cards, for example. But the president
- 13:34Speaker 4: ought to be signing these things. And when you learn
- 13:36Speaker 4: that Biden was signing thousands of commutations in the last
- 13:41Speaker 4: few days of his administration, you know, he didn't have
- 13:44Speaker 4: a clue what was going on. You know, we have
- 13:46Speaker 4: no idea what the deals were, why those people were
- 13:48Speaker 4: given commutations, or if in fact they were legal. So
- 13:53Speaker 4: I do think there's a profound question here, and probably
- 13:57Speaker 4: the Congress and President Trump should really right. So more
- 14:01Speaker 4: restrictive rules about what it takes to get a bill
- 14:04Speaker 4: to actually be a law.
- 14:05Speaker 3: No, it's interesting New Camrich when I went back and
- 14:08Speaker 3: looked at Madisone's notes and looked at some of the
- 14:11Speaker 3: other essays and comments on that they spend a lot
- 14:13Speaker 3: of time on this. They spent a lot time on
- 14:15Speaker 3: this signature issue. They remembered the Statute of Frauds from
- 14:20Speaker 3: the sixteen hundreds. It was very important to them. And
- 14:23Speaker 3: back then it was this guy's the president. You know,
- 14:25Speaker 3: we didn't have this massive bureaucracy. He's going to sign
- 14:28Speaker 3: these laws. We in Congress, we're going to spend our
- 14:30Speaker 3: time doing all this and send it to him. We're
- 14:33Speaker 3: concerned that somebody might hijacket somebody might sign it. And
- 14:37Speaker 3: there's also this presentment requirement that he needs to be present.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I mean, let me ask you that is it really
- 14:42Speaker 3: asking a president too much to sign the damn bills
- 14:46Speaker 3: or to be present when the bills are signed. I mean,
- 14:48Speaker 3: if he's having difficulty doing that, doesn't that kind of
- 14:51Speaker 3: prove the point?
- 14:52Speaker 4: Well, look, I don't think any reasonable person thinks that.
- 14:56Speaker 4: After some point in twenty twenty three, Joe Biden clearly
- 15:00Speaker 4: was incompetent as defined by the twenty fifth Amendment. As
- 15:03Speaker 4: you walked us through. I mean, when you read the
- 15:06Speaker 4: amendment and you read the discussion around the amendment, it's
- 15:09Speaker 4: very clear Biden clearly was incompetent. Sometime I can't say
- 15:14Speaker 4: any given date, but sometime in twenty three it should
- 15:17Speaker 4: have been obvious to every person who was dealing with
- 15:20Speaker 4: him that he was no longer competent to be president.
- 15:23Speaker 4: And I agree with you. Every one of these cabinet
- 15:26Speaker 4: officers and Vice President Harris failed their constitutional duty and
- 15:30Speaker 4: they should frankly be stuck with etho. These are people
- 15:33Speaker 4: who willfully cheated the American people and allowed a phony
- 15:38Speaker 4: presidency in which I'm guessing doctor Jill was the most important.
- 15:42Speaker 4: She became, in effect, the acting president of the United States.
- 15:47Speaker 1: You listen to the claim there by new Gingridge, and
- 15:49Speaker 1: it's a very interesting one. He's saying that, in essence,
- 15:51Speaker 1: the first Lady was actually the President of the United
- 15:54Speaker 1: States of America, the de facto president. She was elected
- 15:57Speaker 1: by no one. And if that is true, then who
- 16:02Speaker 1: else was involved in this cover up or coup, depending
- 16:05Speaker 1: on how you want to describe it. There's also another
- 16:08Speaker 1: aspect of the story, and that is the Biden regime. Right,
- 16:12Speaker 1: they're out of office, but they're still tight. The Biden
- 16:15Speaker 1: crime family now is doing everything they can to change
- 16:18Speaker 1: the narrative, which brings us to the former President Joe Biden.
- 16:22Speaker 1: In a New York Times interview, Biden has now asserted
- 16:26Speaker 1: that he quote personally made every clemency and pardon decision,
- 16:31Speaker 1: even though an autopen was used to apply his signature
- 16:35Speaker 1: on many documents to the massive volume involved. Translation, I'm
- 16:39Speaker 1: giving you a really good story, an alibi to why
- 16:42Speaker 1: I wasn't signing it myself, the President said, quote I
- 16:46Speaker 1: made every single one of those.
- 16:48Speaker 2: He elaborated that he's.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Set the categories and standards for pardons and commutations and
- 16:54Speaker 1: communicated with each decision to aids who execute the mechanics
- 16:59Speaker 1: of signature, you're writing via auto pen. Again, this is
- 17:03Speaker 1: what Joe Biden is saying to the New York Times.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Now.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Biden also defended the practice as legal, end quote typical,
- 17:10Speaker 1: noting that many other presidents, including Trump, have used auto pins.
- 17:14Speaker 1: He emphasized it was simply a matter of handling quote
- 17:17Speaker 1: a whole lot of people. Responding to critics, Joe Biden
- 17:21Speaker 1: also called allegations of misuse politically motivated distractions, saying, quote
- 17:26Speaker 1: their liars, they've done so badly, they've lied so consistently,
- 17:32Speaker 1: the best thing they can do is focus on something else.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Biden also mentioned he issued preemptive pardons to his family
- 17:39Speaker 1: members to show them from what he expected would be
- 17:42Speaker 1: politically driven legal attacks, specifically from Donald Trump.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Guess what.
- 17:48Speaker 1: The only people that have gone after people politically and
- 17:51Speaker 1: attacks has been the Democratic Party who went after Donald Trump.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And that's exactly why they had to give these preempti
- 18:00Speaker 1: gardens out Now. Biden's remarks came amid ongoing congressional investigations
- 18:06Speaker 1: by both the House and the Senate Republicans. These inquiries
- 18:11Speaker 1: are well they're simple. They're examining whether the autopen was
- 18:15Speaker 1: used appropriately or whether Biden or his aides had sufficient
- 18:20Speaker 1: involvement in the decisions. His former White House physician, as
- 18:24Speaker 1: I talked about earlier on the show, Kevin O'Connor, invoked
- 18:28Speaker 1: the fit Amendment when called to testify. Now, the Trump
- 18:32Speaker 1: White House, via the pre Secretary Caroline Levitt, launched its
- 18:36Speaker 1: own investigation. Coordinating with the Justice Department. They reviewed tens
- 18:41Speaker 1: of thousands of documents from NARA and anticipate examining up
- 18:45Speaker 1: to a million more to determine whether Biden retained proper
- 18:49Speaker 1: control of the autopen or succeeded authority to staffers or
- 18:54Speaker 1: maybe his wife. Levitt harshly criticized Biden, calling him the worst,
- 18:59Speaker 1: most incompetent, and senile president, and suggesting that he relinquished
- 19:04Speaker 1: executive power to unelected aids or even family members.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Now, let me also just reminds.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You of what the President said in his own words
- 19:15Speaker 1: on the autopen scandal. He's been very clear that he
- 19:19Speaker 1: believes that Joe Biden was not running the country, that
- 19:22Speaker 1: Joe Biden didn't know what executive orders or even laws
- 19:25Speaker 1: may have been signed at the end of his administration
- 19:28Speaker 1: and certainly didn't know who was getting clemency or pardons
- 19:32Speaker 1: in his last days and hours in office. It's also
- 19:36Speaker 1: interesting that Joe Biden signed his own family's pardons personally,
- 19:42Speaker 1: using his signature, not the autopen, pointing to the fact
- 19:46Speaker 1: that he was so paranoid about the Biden crime family
- 19:49Speaker 1: being protected and covered, but for everyone else, it was
- 19:52Speaker 1: like he wasn't even at the will to even be asleep.
- 19:56Speaker 1: The autopen was being used by countless other individuals, and
- 20:00Speaker 1: who knows how much corruption there was around it. Here's
- 20:03Speaker 1: President Trump in his own words, I mean, you're talking.
- 20:06Speaker 5: About the autopen. Look, the autopen, I think is maybe
- 20:09Speaker 5: one of the biggest scandals that we've had in fifty
- 20:13Speaker 5: to one hundred years. This is a tremendous scandal. And
- 20:17Speaker 5: I know the people on the other side of the
- 20:20Speaker 5: Oscia desk, a resolute desk. Unfortunately he used it before me.
- 20:25Speaker 5: But you know, we have our choice of seven desks.
- 20:28Speaker 5: They're all beautiful, but I chose the resolute and so
- 20:31Speaker 5: did he, unfortunately. But the people on the other side
- 20:36Speaker 5: of the resolute desk, I know them, Lisa, the whole group.
- 20:41Speaker 5: And then no Good's sick people, and I guarantee he
- 20:47Speaker 5: knew nothing about what he was sigyning. I guarantee it.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And that's exactly what this investigation is going to be
- 20:55Speaker 1: all about the present making it clear they're not backing
- 20:58Speaker 1: down and they are gone going to investigate it and
- 21:02Speaker 1: find out exactly who was running the country and that
- 21:06Speaker 1: person was clearly not elected by any Americans.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Now I asked for Congress while the House and the.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Senate doing their own investigations individually. There are going to
- 21:16Speaker 1: be a lot of people that are going to want
- 21:18Speaker 1: to answer questions, or maybe a lot of people that
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't want to answer questions, depending on what your role
- 21:24Speaker 1: was within the Biden regime. As for the former staffers,
- 21:29Speaker 1: you can expect more of them to take the fifth
- 21:32Speaker 1: and not say a word because they're afraid of incriminating
- 21:35Speaker 1: themselves and probably going to jail. Donald Trump promised all Americans,
- 21:41Speaker 1: no matter where you lived, even in a liberal city,
- 21:44Speaker 1: that he was going to do everything in his power
- 21:47Speaker 1: to keep you safe. He also said he was going
- 21:49Speaker 1: to crack down on drugs, cartels, naming them terrorists organizations,
- 21:54Speaker 1: and stopping the flow of illegal immigrants across the southern border.
- 21:58Speaker 1: The President is making good on all of those promises,
- 22:01Speaker 1: and now there's a new one, and it's making liberals
- 22:04Speaker 1: lose their mind. The President invokes section seven forty of
- 22:09Speaker 1: the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, allowing him to
- 22:13Speaker 1: take over the Metropolitan Police Department and deploy the National
- 22:17Speaker 1: Guard under declaration of a public safety emergency. Democrats, of course,
- 22:23Speaker 1: are angry that the president of United States of America
- 22:25Speaker 1: may actually save lives, get drugs off the streets, and
- 22:28Speaker 1: restore law and order to our nation's capital. So what
- 22:31Speaker 1: are they doing. They're saying, this is what a dictator
- 22:34Speaker 1: and a tyrant would do. Yes, Democrats are so unhinged
- 22:38Speaker 1: now they're claiming that as the President's trying to save lives,
- 22:42Speaker 1: that he's somehow a dictator. Now, the scale of the
- 22:45Speaker 1: deployment will be up to eight hundred National Guard troops
- 22:49Speaker 1: and around five hundred federal law enforcement personnel, including over
- 22:53Speaker 1: one hundred FBI agents, plus members from the DEEA, the
- 22:57Speaker 1: atf ICE, and US Marshall. They're all being deployed to
- 23:02Speaker 1: patrol the streets in Washington, d C. Trump's justification very simple.
- 23:07Speaker 1: He described the city as descending into chaos, using words
- 23:10Speaker 1: like bloodshed to frame the intervention as a liberation day.
- 23:16Speaker 2: He warned similar.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Federal actions could extend to other big cities, such as
- 23:21Speaker 1: New York and Los Angeles. Now, what is the crime
- 23:24Speaker 1: data show? It actually shows, thank goodness, that violent crime
- 23:28Speaker 1: across the country is coming down. Why because the president's
- 23:31Speaker 1: backing law enforcement and allowing them to do their job.
- 23:34Speaker 1: And we're also witnessing ice agents taking hardened criminals off
- 23:38Speaker 1: the streets that are in the country illegally. This is
- 23:42Speaker 1: exactly why the president is having such success. Now, local
- 23:46Speaker 1: responses are obviously different depending on if you're a Democrat
- 23:50Speaker 1: or Republican. Mayor Bowser condemned the move as quote unsettling
- 23:54Speaker 1: in DC and unprecedented, asserting the city doesn't meet legal
- 23:59Speaker 1: criteria claims for a federal emergency. Yes, she cares more
- 24:03Speaker 1: about playing politics than saving lives. She puts instead for
- 24:07Speaker 1: more judicial resources and staffing. Again, bureaucracy over policing. DC's
- 24:13Speaker 1: Attorney General is exploring legal options, they're saying as well,
- 24:17Speaker 1: and the DC City Council members called the move an
- 24:20Speaker 1: intrusion on local authority quote unquote, this is all politics
- 24:25Speaker 1: for them. Instead, of actually protecting Americans. I want you
- 24:28Speaker 1: to hear what the President had to say as he
- 24:30Speaker 1: announces to the White House in his own words.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Under the authorities vested in me as the President of
- 24:35Speaker 5: the United States, I'm officially invoking section seventy forty of
- 24:39Speaker 5: the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, you know what
- 24:42Speaker 5: that is, and placing the DC Metropolitan Police Department under
- 24:46Speaker 5: direct federal control. And you'll be meeting the people that
- 24:49Speaker 5: will be directly involved with that. Very good people, but
- 24:53Speaker 5: they're tough, and they know what's happening, and they've done
- 24:56Speaker 5: it before. In addition, I'm deploying the National are to
- 25:00Speaker 5: help re establish law order of public safety in Washington,
- 25:04Speaker 5: d C.
- 25:05Speaker 6: And they're going to be allowed to do their job properly.
- 25:07Speaker 1: They're going to be allowed to do their job properly.
- 25:11Speaker 1: That is the core point of what President Trump has
- 25:13Speaker 1: been saying over and over again when it comes to
- 25:15Speaker 1: law enforcement. Let law enforcement officers do their jobs the
- 25:21Speaker 1: right way. Now, how do we get to this point? Well,
- 25:23Speaker 1: the President also talked about the radicals in DC, for example,
- 25:27Speaker 1: having no cash bail and it's putting people's lives at risk.
- 25:31Speaker 5: This dire public safety crisis stem is directly from the
- 25:34Speaker 5: abject failures of the city's local leadership. The radical left
- 25:39Speaker 5: city Council adopted no cash bail. By the way, every
- 25:44Speaker 5: place in the country where you have no cash bail
- 25:46Speaker 5: is a disaster. That's what started the problem in New York,
- 25:49Speaker 5: and they don't change it. They don't want to change it.
- 25:51Speaker 5: That's what started it in Chicago. I mean, bad politicians
- 25:55Speaker 5: started it. Bad leadership started it. But that was the
- 25:58Speaker 5: one thing that's central. No cash Somebody murders somebody and
- 26:01Speaker 5: they're out on no cash bail before the day is out.
- 26:05Speaker 5: We're going to end that in Chicago. We're going to
- 26:07Speaker 5: change the statute. I spoke with Pam and Todd and everybody.
- 26:11Speaker 5: We're going to change the statue. And I'm going to
- 26:13Speaker 5: have to get the Republicans to vote because the Democrats
- 26:16Speaker 5: are week on crime, totally weak.
- 26:18Speaker 1: On crime, totally week on crime. The stats say he's
- 26:22Speaker 1: absolutely accurate, and the President United States of America saying,
- 26:25Speaker 1: this is our moment to shine, to take back our
- 26:28Speaker 1: nation's capital, and we're not going to allow Democrats to
- 26:31Speaker 1: hold us hostage any longer. Ag BONDI also saying this
- 26:36Speaker 1: about what's happening in DC.
- 26:37Speaker 7: Let me be crystal clear. Crime in DC is ending
- 26:40Speaker 7: and ending today. We are going to use every power
- 26:44Speaker 7: we have to fight criminals here. President, thank you for
- 26:47Speaker 7: caring about our capital. Families come here every summer. Our
- 26:52Speaker 7: museums are free. We have the National Zoo, we have
- 26:56Speaker 7: the National Gallery. DC should be a place where everyone
- 27:00Speaker 7: can come and feel safe.
- 27:02Speaker 1: It's all about safety. That is the present's number one
- 27:06Speaker 1: priority for all Americans. And yet Democrats are doing everything
- 27:11Speaker 1: they can to try to stop the President from accomplishing
- 27:14Speaker 1: this goal. Donald Trump also saying this as well, about
- 27:18Speaker 1: what's happening in DC.
- 27:19Speaker 5: Becoming a situation of complete and total lawlessness.
- 27:24Speaker 6: And we getting rid of the slums too.
- 27:25Speaker 2: We have slums here.
- 27:26Speaker 6: We getting rid of them.
- 27:27Speaker 5: I know it's not politically correct, you'll say, oh, so terrible.
- 27:31Speaker 6: No, we're getting rid of the slums where they live.
- 27:34Speaker 1: We're getting rid of the slums.
- 27:36Speaker 8: Now.
- 27:36Speaker 1: You listen also to something else on this Liberation Day,
- 27:39Speaker 1: and that is again the President saying we're taking our
- 27:42Speaker 1: capital back. The man who's in charge of the Department
- 27:44Speaker 1: of Defense, Pete Headseth, went on Laura Ingrams Show, and
- 27:48Speaker 1: this is what he had to say about what the
- 27:50Speaker 1: President has ordered him to do.
- 27:52Speaker 9: This capital belongs to all Americans, and starting now, we're
- 27:56Speaker 9: taking it back. And that's the angle. Secretary of Defense
- 27:59Speaker 9: Pete Hegsa was given the tall order of handling this
- 28:02Speaker 9: and he's here with me exclusively. Mister Secretary, thank you
- 28:04Speaker 9: for joining us tonight. So the President called this a
- 28:08Speaker 9: public safety emergency, and you said, we're going to start
- 28:11Speaker 9: seeing the National Guard this week, tell us more.
- 28:15Speaker 8: This week and incoming weeks, and we're going to work
- 28:17Speaker 8: right alongside our law enforcement partners as force multipliers. This
- 28:21Speaker 8: is what the American people voted for, Laura. This is
- 28:23Speaker 8: what the common sense, clarity strength. I hadn't heard that
- 28:27Speaker 8: story from President Trump before the story he told about
- 28:29Speaker 8: his father that he told him, hey, son, if you
- 28:32Speaker 8: look at the front door of a restaurant and it's dirty,
- 28:34Speaker 8: then I bet the kitchen you can count on the
- 28:36Speaker 8: fact that the kitchen is too and sat there thinking
- 28:38Speaker 8: that's exactly right. If our capital city is a mess,
- 28:40Speaker 8: if we can't control our capital city, then what does
- 28:43Speaker 8: the rest of the country look like?
- 28:44Speaker 6: And what signals does the rest of the country take
- 28:46Speaker 6: from that? So, just like we did in Los Angeles
- 28:48Speaker 6: alongside our federal law.
- 28:49Speaker 8: We took a lot of criticism for four thousand troops,
- 28:51Speaker 8: seven hundred Marines.
- 28:52Speaker 6: You know what we didn't get.
- 28:53Speaker 8: There was no summer of love in twenty twenty There
- 28:56Speaker 8: was in twenty twenty five.
- 28:57Speaker 6: There was a summer of law enforcement, and.
- 28:59Speaker 8: We quelled the protests, if the attacks on ice officers.
- 29:02Speaker 8: We're going to help get DC under control by working
- 29:04Speaker 8: with local officials who have been federalized, with federal officials who.
- 29:08Speaker 6: Are coming in. The DC Guards proud to be a
- 29:11Speaker 6: part of it.
- 29:11Speaker 8: Other states will contribute this week, going into the weeks
- 29:14Speaker 8: to come. Whatever's needed, the DoD will provide to make
- 29:17Speaker 8: sure this is a safe city for those who live here,
- 29:20Speaker 8: for those that work here, and the Americans who want
- 29:22Speaker 8: to come visit here and love our capital city.
- 29:25Speaker 9: The question of martial law keeps getting raised by the
- 29:29Speaker 9: left that Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth they want to
- 29:32Speaker 9: impose martial law as authoritarians would.
- 29:36Speaker 6: To that, you said to that, I say, look at
- 29:38Speaker 6: Los Angeles. They said the exact same thing.
- 29:40Speaker 8: Oh look, oh look four thousand troops California National Guard,
- 29:44Speaker 8: Oh look the Marines.
- 29:45Speaker 6: You can't put in the Marines.
- 29:46Speaker 8: They were the troops available to ensure that we de
- 29:49Speaker 8: escalated the situation and didn't allow other lawbreakers to say, look,
- 29:52Speaker 8: it's wide open, we can do whatever we want in
- 29:54Speaker 8: these sanctuary cities. I was told, Oh, you're going to
- 29:58Speaker 8: lock up political opponents, You're going to go after democrats, YadA, YadA.
- 30:01Speaker 8: It's the same stuff every time, mischaracterizing our intentions. The
- 30:04Speaker 8: intentions of this president is to establish law and order
- 30:07Speaker 8: using legal and lawful and constitutional means, which he completely.
- 30:10Speaker 6: Has and you know what, you know why they don't
- 30:12Speaker 6: like him. He's got the guts to do it.
- 30:14Speaker 8: He's got the guts to say, I'm going to federalize
- 30:16Speaker 8: the police that are that don't work. I'm going to
- 30:18Speaker 8: bring in the National Guard, I'm going to bring in
- 30:20Speaker 8: federal marshals.
- 30:21Speaker 9: I'm going to bring in the park police. What is
- 30:26Speaker 9: the cost money? Right, cost money? And the question is
- 30:30Speaker 9: are you there for a year? Are you there for
- 30:33Speaker 9: six months? And when the troops pull out? What happened?
- 30:36Speaker 6: I would call this conditions based.
- 30:37Speaker 8: I would say it's a situation where we're here to
- 30:40Speaker 8: support law enforcement, and the more we can free them
- 30:43Speaker 8: up to do their job the more effective they can be,
- 30:45Speaker 8: the more we can work. I mean, this isn't my realm,
- 30:47Speaker 8: but the justice system to make sure people who are
- 30:49Speaker 8: arrested are actually locked up. That's why the president's talking
- 30:52Speaker 8: about cash list, bear bail, and sanctuary cities.
- 30:54Speaker 6: If you're illegal here in DC, that's going to be
- 30:56Speaker 6: a problem.
- 30:57Speaker 8: So all of these things that apply to law and
- 30:59Speaker 8: order our front and center for us.
- 31:01Speaker 6: And I don't know, weeks, months, what will it take.
- 31:03Speaker 8: That's the president's call, but we're going to be there
- 31:05Speaker 8: for him to execute as swiftly as possible.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Then as swiftly as possible. This is what you voted for,
- 31:12Speaker 1: and the presence delivering on that promise of having safer cities,
- 31:17Speaker 1: safer streets, safer capital, and making sure we are protecting
- 31:21Speaker 1: everyone in this country, regardless of who you voted for.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Don't forget share this podcast please with your family and
- 31:29Speaker 1: your friends wherever they are, and I will see you
- 31:32Speaker 1: back here tomorrow
