- 0:27via Spotify or Apple or however you get your show.
- 0:30So make sure you are subscribed so you never miss another
- 0:33episode. Lots of movement in the chat
- 0:35right now. I will be keeping an eye on the
- 0:37chat throughout the episode. OK, so there's a lot to break
- 0:41down. I want to start by saying the
- 0:44Lila Rose podcast is a place where we talk about how
- 0:47everyone, how you can reach your full potential.
- 0:50The purpose of this is to celebrate the purpose that every
- 0:52life has, including your own and my own.
- 0:56And so we do current events commentary.
- 0:58We do some political commentary because those those things
- 1:00matter for unlocking the potential of every human life in
- 1:04this country and beyond. But we also, of course,
- 1:06interview thought leaders, experts, personal stories to
- 1:09bring that information that will help us live flourishing lives,
- 1:13healthier relationships, being healthier physically,
- 1:15spiritually, emotionally in every way.
- 1:18So that's a lot of the content on this podcast.
- 1:20But we also do current events and politics occasionally like
- 1:24this life. So what are we going to do
- 1:26today? We're going to be unpacking some
- 1:28of my recent statement that I've made on X.
- 1:31They cause a little bit of a firestorm.
- 1:34There's a little bit of virality happening over there.
- 1:36A lot of heat going on on X. I'm going to be talking about
- 1:39that. I'm also going to be talking
- 1:41about the election that's upcoming and what pro lifers
- 1:45should do as we approach this historic election, what our view
- 1:49should be, our perspective should be at this crucial time.
- 1:53I also want to start out with a positive story.
- 1:55I like doing that with the podcast.
- 1:57We're going to be doing more of that, especially when we're
- 1:59getting into heavy stuff. And so the positive story I want
- 2:01to note is congratulating a new baby that was born last week to
- 2:06Justin and Haley Bieber. You might have seen that.
- 2:09Let's see if we can pull up the. Article here.
- 2:12So as you guys probably saw, Justin Bieber and Haley Bieber
- 2:15had a baby. Congratulations to them.
- 2:18It's very exciting. What I especially am excited
- 2:21about here is the power of Justin's story.
- 2:24I mean, his beautiful child is going to be living on the legacy
- 2:28of Justin's very talented life and Haley's very talented life.
- 2:31But as you guys may know, Justin was born to a single mother,
- 2:36Patty Mallette, who's a friend of mine, someone that I admire
- 2:39greatly. And Patty is very pro-life.
- 2:41She's very a beautiful person inside and out.
- 2:43And she chose life for Justin. She rejected a board.
- 2:47Some people around her told her she should abort.
- 2:50She did not abort Justin. She was a teenage mom and she
- 2:54chose life for her son. And now look at Justin's
- 2:57incredible talent. And now married to another
- 2:59incredible talent, Haley, they're bringing a new life into
- 3:02the world. It just shows the power and the
- 3:04potential of every human life. So I want to start with that
- 3:08because it is very beautiful to see new life and just and we
- 3:12should always be celebrating new life because life is worth
- 3:15fighting for. All right, let's get to the
- 3:20controversies, right This week. A lot of stuff happened over the
- 3:23weekend. I came out on X and I commented
- 3:26on it. I want to break that down.
- 3:28Let's start with what was said. Now before I go into what I
- 3:33said, I want to remind everybody that the Lila Rose podcast is an
- 3:36independent project. This is my podcast in my
- 3:39personal capacity. It is not created by or produced
- 3:43by Live Action, as many of you know and support.
- 3:46I run the organization Live Action, which is a 5O1C3
- 3:50nonprofit. That means that we are
- 3:52nonpartisan. We do not get involved in
- 3:55elections at Live Action and our job at Live Action is to educate
- 4:00millions of people about the evil of abortion and the crisis
- 4:05of the human, the human rights crisis of abortion and to
- 4:09showcase the beauty of every human life.
- 4:12As a 501-C3. We are prohibited by the from
- 4:15the IRS. We do not back one candidate
- 4:18over another. We do not tell people to vote
- 4:20for one candidate over another. Live Action is an educational,
- 4:24not-for-profit that uses media to change hearts and minds.
- 4:28I'm really proud of the amazing team at Live Action and the work
- 4:31that we do over at Live Action. We're reaching millions of
- 4:34people every month with truth about abortion and human life
- 4:37that is proven to help change minds and save lives.
- 4:42So that's live action. In my personal capacity on my
- 4:45social media accounts and on the Lila Rose podcast, we do
- 4:49sometimes get into politics and that's what we are doing today.
- 4:52So on X yesterday, I came out with comments about statements
- 4:57that were made this past Sunday by JD Vance, who is the vice
- 5:02president pick for vice president by Trump.
- 5:05His his ticket. And he had some comments in an
- 5:08interview that he made about abortion.
- 5:10And I'm going to play those comments for you now so you know
- 5:12what I'm talking about. Democrats made the case this
- 5:16week and beyond this week that Donald Trump, if elected, will
- 5:19impose a federal ban on abortion if he wins.
- 5:22Now, Donald Trump says he won't. But can you commit, Senator,
- 5:26sitting right here with me today, that if you and Donald
- 5:30Trump are elected, that you will not impose a federal ban on
- 5:33abortion? I can absolutely commit that,
- 5:35Kristen, Donald Trump has been as clear about that as possible.
- 5:38I, I think it's important to step back and say, what does
- 5:40Donald Trump actually said on the abortion question and how is
- 5:43it different from what Kamala Harris, the Democrats have said?
- 5:46Donald Trump wants to end this cultural war over this
- 5:49particular topic. If Kamal, excuse me, California
- 5:52wants to have a different abortion policy from Ohio, then
- 5:54Ohio has to respect California and California has to respect
- 5:57Ohio. Donald Trump's view is that we
- 5:59want the individual States and their individual cultures and
- 6:02their unique political sensibilities to make these
- 6:05decisions because we don't want to have a nonstop federal
- 6:08conflict over this issue. The federal government ought to
- 6:11be focused on getting food prices down and getting housing
- 6:14prices down, issues, of course, where Kamala Harris has been a
- 6:17total disaster. So I think Donald Trump is
- 6:19right. We want the federal government
- 6:20to focus on these big economic and immigration questions.
- 6:23Let the states figure out their own abortion policy.
- 6:25Let me just follow up with you a little bit on that point because
- 6:29I've been talking to Republicans, including Senator
- 6:31Lindsey Graham just last week, who've made it very clear that
- 6:35if Donald, Donald Trump is elected, if you are elected,
- 6:37they will continue to press this point.
- 6:39Senator Graham said to me, I'm going to keep saying that there
- 6:42should be a federal ban. If such a piece of legislation
- 6:47landed on Donald Trump's desk, would he veto it?
- 6:50I think it'd be very clear he would not support it I.
- 6:52Mean, he said that. Yeah.
- 6:53I mean, if you're not supporting it, as the President of the
- 6:55United States, you fundamentally have.
- 6:56To veto a federal abortion ban. I think he would.
- 6:59He said that explicitly that he would.
- 7:01So what you probably heard JD Van say there was, yes, he would
- 7:05President. Trump would veto an abortion ban
- 7:08if it came to his desk as president.
- 7:10This is a really consequential thing that Daddy Vance is saying
- 7:13because it is in effect, he's saying if the duly elected
- 7:15Senate, the duly elected House. Were to pass an abortion ban, it
- 7:19didn't specify what kind. It could be a 15 week ban,
- 7:22theoretically A20 week ban, or a complete abortion ban protecting
- 7:25all human lives from the violence of abortion.
- 7:28And if that made it to President Trump's desk, which by the way,
- 7:31would be a colossal feat on the pro-life side, if we
- 7:33accomplished getting pro-life legislation like that in front
- 7:36of a sitting president, JD Vance is saying we would veto it.
- 7:40President Trump would veto it. This is extremely troubling
- 7:45because this is a pro abortion position for President Trump to
- 7:49now take for his ticket to take. As you guys saw also on Friday,
- 7:53he came out and says that he stands for reproductive rights.
- 7:56Didn't clarify what that meant. But obviously that's the
- 7:58language that was used the entire week prior by Kamala
- 8:02Harris and her folks at the DNC shouting for abortion.
- 8:06The whole DNCI did 2 lives on this this last week as you guys
- 8:09saw many of you the whole DNC, the Democratic National
- 8:12Convention last week in Chicago was an abortion bonanza.
- 8:15They were one after the next Oprah, Cecile Richards,
- 8:18obviously Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, Joe Biden, Obama.
- 8:22They were all getting up there talking about abortion and why
- 8:26it's so great that. Was the DNC last week there was
- 8:29an abortion bus parked just blocks away outside of the DNC.
- 8:33Committing abortions. So the response from President
- 8:36Trump, I think the smart response, the right response
- 8:39would have been look at that extremism from the Democrats.
- 8:43Look at the abortion bonanza that was had at the DNC where
- 8:47they're where they're catering to this extreme fundamentalist
- 8:50pro abortion fringe within the Democratic Party.
- 8:53Most Americans want some abortion restrictions.
- 8:55By the way, most Americans oppose full term abortions.
- 9:00But the DNC was doing an abortion cheerleading session
- 9:03all week. So it would have been powerful
- 9:06for Trump to come out on Friday and over the weekend and say,
- 9:09look at the extremism from the Democrats.
- 9:11Look at how pro abortion they are.
- 9:13They have an abortion bust outside their convention and
- 9:16we've got to fight for life because these are babies, lives
- 9:19on the line. I think that would have been
- 9:21incredibly motivating for the pro-life base.
- 9:24But instead, unfortunately, tragically, Trump chose to make
- 9:28statements and now his VP pick is making statements to media
- 9:31saying not only are they just wanting to be put put abortion
- 9:36away, not talk about it, but they're actively saying that
- 9:39they would actually veto a pro-life law.
- 9:42They would actually come out in support of abortion pills, which
- 9:46is something that JD Vance has also said recently.
- 9:50So these are the facts that I'm sharing with you.
- 9:53It is very clear that Kamala and Walls the the the Harris Walls
- 9:57ticket is extraordinarily pro abortion.
- 10:00Unfortunately, this is a very different Trump ticket than it
- 10:03was in 2016. Trump campaigning on life.
- 10:07Trump making promises to the pro-life community.
- 10:10Trump saying that he would fight for life.
- 10:12I don't know if you guys remember, but Trump spoke at the
- 10:14March for Life and Trump said that he was pro-life.
- 10:17We're going to talk about this more in the live in a few
- 10:19minutes. But he has in the past said that
- 10:23he would stand for pro-life policy and that he would stand
- 10:25for life. This is a radical departure from
- 10:29that Trump. And so the question is why?
- 10:32Why is Trump doing this? And I would say, well, first of
- 10:35all, it's profoundly unprincipled.
- 10:37It's profoundly unprincipled to throw the lives of babies who
- 10:41can't speak for themselves, who can't mobilize, who can't vote
- 10:45under the bus to theoretically win an election, right, as
- 10:50presumably he's doing this to win an election.
- 10:52That's what the defense is by some Trump supporters.
- 10:54Well, he's trying to win the election.
- 10:56Cut him some slack and say, well, Kamala's trying to win the
- 10:59election too. And she's using pro abortion
- 11:01rhetoric and Trump is now using pro abortion rhetoric too.
- 11:06Is this going to help Trump win the election?
- 11:09It's the morally wrong thing to do.
- 11:12I mean, JD Vance is a Catholic. He's somebody that my
- 11:15understanding is he converted to the Catholic faith.
- 11:18And there are Catholic politicians on the left in the
- 11:21Democratic Party who promote abortion, who say they support
- 11:25abortions. And there are some Catholic,
- 11:28Catholic Bishops who have said they cannot receive Holy
- 11:31Communion because they are out there advocating for abortion.
- 11:35Unfortunately, JD Vance is doing that same thing when he says he
- 11:39supports the abortion pill, which is 60% of abortions.
- 11:44But I want to challenge this question of, oh, politically
- 11:47they need to do this. Politically, you got to throw
- 11:50the pro lifers under the bus. Otherwise we just can't win.
- 11:53I think it's foolishness and I'm going to show you why.
- 11:56I think there's a lot of data to show both through polling and
- 12:00through past experience that life is a winning issue.
- 12:06And I'm going to walk you through some examples and some
- 12:08polls to show you this. I don't know who is consulting
- 12:12the Trump administration right now or the Trump campaign right
- 12:14now, but I'm going to say loud and clear if anyone from the
- 12:19Trump administration is listening, that advice is bad
- 12:22advice that you're getting. So let's let's break some of
- 12:24this down South. So we're going to go to Trump
- 12:28and Vance's comments over the weekend.
- 12:29We we covered that. Let's go to why being pro-life
- 12:32is a winning issue. And I'm going to start with some
- 12:35precedent examples, which are really important because there's
- 12:38this argument being made that if you come out for life as a
- 12:41politician, then you're going to get killed at the at the voting
- 12:44booth. You're just going to get killed.
- 12:46This is not true. Let's start with the state of
- 12:48Georgia as a case study. Now, Georgia is in many ways a
- 12:54swing state. This year hasn't always been
- 12:55that way, but it's a swing state this year because Trump lost
- 13:00Georgia to Biden in 2020. So what happened in Georgia?
- 13:04Well, in 2019, Governor Kemp signed the heartbeat bill into
- 13:10law. Now the.
- 13:11Heartbeat Bill, as many people may know.
- 13:14Abortions after around 7 weeks when a baby's heartbeat can be
- 13:18detected. This is a big step in the right
- 13:20direction because it can save past 40% potentially of lives,
- 13:2530 to 40% of lives who are in danger of abortion.
- 13:29There are many abortions that happen at six to seven weeks,
- 13:31killing those babies, but there are many abortions that happen
- 13:35at 8910 weeks and later. So this is a strong step in the
- 13:39right direction. This is not complete justice,
- 13:41it's not sufficient, but it is a strong step in the right
- 13:44direction to ban abortions after seven weeks.
- 13:47Of. Course, the baby at six weeks is
- 13:49just as valuable as the baby at 7 weeks and all abortions should
- 13:53be banned. But we're using this as a case
- 13:54study to show that the mindset that oh.
- 13:58Trump needs to throw pro lifers under the bus somehow to win is
- 14:02a correct mindset. So let's start with Georgia
- 14:042019. Kemp signs the heartbeat bill
- 14:06into law. In 2020, Trump lost Georgia to
- 14:10Biden. OK, Then in 2022, two years
- 14:14after Trump lost Governor Brian Kemp, who had passed.
- 14:18The heartbeat law. In 2019 and he was the he was
- 14:22the incumbent. He won his re election in 2022.
- 14:26The voters of Georgia who would not vote for Trump respected
- 14:31Governor Kemp, including his heartbeat law that he signed.
- 14:35And why is that? I believe it's because Governor
- 14:38Brian Kemp showed leadership and confidence and conviction and he
- 14:43was willing to fight for life. Do I wish Governor Kemp had
- 14:46fought for even more lives? Yes.
- 14:48But he was willing to fight for an abortion restriction and
- 14:52abortion ban. And he was rewarded for that in
- 14:552022 when his base was galvanized.
- 14:57He got out enough of the vote and he won his re election.
- 15:02People would say, well, if you sign a heartbeat law or you sign
- 15:05an abortion ban, then you're just going to be crushed at the
- 15:07voting booth. That's not what happened.
- 15:09And that's in a state where Trump lost.
- 15:12Let's do another state, Ohio in 29.
- 15:16In 2019, Governor Dewine signs the heartbeat bill.
- 15:20So he did the same thing as Governor Kemp in 2022.
- 15:25Governor Dewine wins re election again after signing that law.
- 15:31You can look at Florida and you can look at Governor DeSantis.
- 15:34Governor DeSantis, in a purple state, won re election.
- 15:38In a landslide. In a historic landslide,
- 15:42Governor DeSantis has been confidently and courageously
- 15:45speaking out on behalf of life. In fact, right now as we speak,
- 15:49Governor DeSantis is actually putting his time and effort into
- 15:53the state ballot fight happening in Florida right now, urging
- 15:58Floridians to vote no on Amendment 4, which would
- 16:01enshrine abortion on demand through all nine months in the
- 16:05state of Florida. These are very important
- 16:08examples because this idea that if you're a politician and
- 16:12you're bold on life and you fight for life and you pass
- 16:15abortion restrictions, you're just going to be smoked at the
- 16:18voting booth is a false narrative.
- 16:21Another example would be Governor Abbott.
- 16:23He has virtually banned abortions in the state of Texas.
- 16:26He gets a ton of Flack for that. He also won his RE election.
- 16:31So this idea that you have to throw your principles to the
- 16:35side and throw the babies under the bus to win, and then
- 16:39secretly, somehow you're going to be pro-life when you win.
- 16:42By the way, no one's promised that.
- 16:43It's not like the Trump campaign is reaching out to all the
- 16:45pro-life leaders and saying, hey, guys, we're just lying
- 16:47right now. We're lying to you behind the
- 16:50scenes. We're saying we're going to
- 16:52actually help you out. And then publicly, they're
- 16:54throwing the babies under the bus.
- 16:55That that's, by the way, not happening.
- 16:57But even if that theoretically were to happen, it's
- 17:00foolishness. People appreciate authenticity,
- 17:05courage. They want a fighter.
- 17:08They want to see somebody who is unashamed of their stance.
- 17:11People do not like waffling politicians.
- 17:15It it reeks of establishment. It reeks of inauthenticity.
- 17:19It reeks of self-serving unprincipledness.
- 17:21People don't like that. So Kamala Harris, she got the
- 17:25message. She's like, well, my base wants
- 17:27abortion. My not her whole base, by the
- 17:29way, a small percentage of her base wants the policy she's
- 17:32fighting for, right? But she's going hard on it.
- 17:34She is. I'm 100% for abortion.
- 17:37Trump would serve himself well and his campaign well if he came
- 17:41out passionately like Governor Dewine, like Governor Kemp, like
- 17:45Governor DeSantis for life. All right, So those are some
- 17:48examples of. The precedent for winning on
- 17:52life. I'm going to go to the polling.
- 17:54Before I go to the polling I want to do one other thing
- 17:56though. The very best way to start your
- 17:59day is with a steaming cup of coffee.

- 19:43There's a lot of people saying, well, the pro-life ballot
- 19:45initiatives are just struggling, they're failing, they're
- 19:49falling, and they are not doing well.
- 19:52We were losing all of these ballot initiatives.
- 19:55And I want to address that because it's true.
- 19:57There were several losses post Roe V Wade's fall at the state
- 20:02level that should not have been losses.
- 20:04And I want to break down briefly what happened there because I
- 20:06think it's important people know.
- 20:08So first of all. In these ballot initiatives,
- 20:11there's difference between ballot initiatives and a a
- 20:15candidate running for office is a candidate who's running for
- 20:18office. They have the microphone, they
- 20:20are speaking, they are being interviewed by the media.
- 20:22They are talking about, you know, in the case of, as an
- 20:25example, DeSantis, they're talking about their pro-life
- 20:27convictions, right? When there's a ballot initiative
- 20:29on abortion, there's not a politician whose election is at
- 20:33stake, right? There's not even typically a
- 20:35politician who's spearheading the campaign.
- 20:38Sometimes folks will lend their voice.
- 20:40You have voiceless people, the unborn, who are being voted on.
- 20:45And So what has happened in the state ballot initiatives is
- 20:47there have been 10s of millions, upward of 100 at this point,
- 20:52millions of dollars poured into state ballot initiatives by the
- 20:57pro abortion side. We have been outspent over 3 to
- 21:00one in the state ballot initiatives. 10s of millions of
- 21:04dollars have gone into the state ballot initiatives.
- 21:06And what are they saying from the pro abortion side?
- 21:09They are saying fear mongering. They have very misleading often
- 21:13initiatives that are written up about what they're going to do,
- 21:15like we're going to protect Women's Health by prohibiting
- 21:18abortion restrictions. But they use this language to
- 21:21try to scare you that without it, abortion is going to women
- 21:25are going to die. Women need these laws.
- 21:27And then they're pouring tons of money into these states to say
- 21:32that women will die without this amendment or without this
- 21:35initiative, that women will get miscarriage care.
- 21:39So many lies are being told and unfortunately it's often a money
- 21:44issue where if you are outspent by the lies 3 to 1 and the lies
- 21:48are incessant coming from the abortion industry, then a lot of
- 21:52the times a lot of voters, the ones that do come out to vote,
- 21:54are going to be confused on the matter.
- 21:56So I think it's very important to note the distinction between
- 21:58a politician running on life versus these ballot initiatives.
- 22:02Now, what do we do about these ballot initiatives?
- 22:03It's obviously heartbreaking. We need to, we need to fight.
- 22:07One of the big problems with the pro-life movement that I'm
- 22:10trying to solve, as many other leaders that I know, is that we
- 22:13are advocating for people who can't speak for themselves and
- 22:18there's no special interest group themselves.
- 22:20The unborn who can go out and raise money, make money, vote,
- 22:23advocate. It's 100% dependent on the
- 22:25people who are doing it right. And the amount of money that is
- 22:29poured into the abortion machine is insane.
- 22:34Planned Parenthood alone is a 1.5, nearly actually 2 at this
- 22:38point. Billion dollar corporation,
- 22:41their marketing budgets alone and their development budgets
- 22:45alone to promote the abortion agenda is in the hundreds of
- 22:50millions of dollars. I got some Flack on X lately
- 22:53saying your budget is so big at live action $14 million.
- 22:56What are you doing with this budget?
- 22:58We spend this budget to create content and persuasive media to
- 23:02educate people on life. When you're working in an
- 23:05environment and I'm proud to say by the way, we're beating
- 23:07Planned Parenthood, which has a budget that far surpasses ours.
- 23:12But when you're dealing with institutionalized lies about
- 23:16life from corporations, yes, but also in media, a very pro
- 23:21abortion media, pro abortion academia, pro abortion political
- 23:25party like the Democratic Party and unfortunately increasingly
- 23:28like the Republican Party, the lies take on a life of their
- 23:32own. So what's needed in the pro-life
- 23:34movement is you. We need more of you.
- 23:37We need more people who are willing to speak the truth when
- 23:39it's popular and unpopular in and out of season, who are
- 23:42willing to fight for the babies, who are willing to lend your
- 23:44time, your efforts, your resources, everything you can to
- 23:48this fight. We need more people in the fight
- 23:51and that's part of the job of live action to galvanized more
- 23:54people into the fight. And I'm proud to say we are
- 23:57bigger than any other pro abortion group online,
- 24:00dominating the news cycle with the pro against the pro abortion
- 24:04groups. Unfortunately, we are fighting
- 24:06an uphill battle when it comes to the media institutions, when
- 24:09it comes to the ballot initiatives, when it comes to
- 24:12all of these different factors that are fighting for the
- 24:15abortion side. There's a fight to be had.
- 24:18When Roe V. Wade was overruled, people say,
- 24:21well, I went to the states, I went to the states.
- 24:22The fight is on. The fight has just begun in many
- 24:26ways. And before I go to the polling,
- 24:28I want to say one other thing. I should have mentioned this to
- 24:31you guys earlier. A lot of the rhetoric right now
- 24:34coming from the Republican Party is that this is a states rights
- 24:38issue. You probably have heard this,
- 24:40right? And I think there's even some
- 24:41pro-life people are saying, well, is is it a states rights
- 24:43issue, right? Maybe.
- 24:44I guess the reality is this. Our Constitution under the 14th
- 24:50Amendment right now says that no state has any right to deprive
- 24:55life of any person without due process.
- 24:59Abortion is already unconstitutional.
- 25:02There's already a promise of equal protection under the law
- 25:05for all people. And unborn babies,
- 25:08scientifically speaking, are as human being, are as much of a
- 25:11human being as a born child. And if you're human, you're a
- 25:15person. We've had a lot of issues
- 25:16historically as a country when we've said people were less than
- 25:20human or they were human but less than a person.
- 25:23You know, we are said or certain groups in the past are not
- 25:26persons, but maybe they're human, but they're not persons.
- 25:28Know if you're human, you're a person.
- 25:30The science is very clear that human life doesn't begin at
- 25:32birth, begins at the moment of fertilization, and you deserve
- 25:36the right to not be killed. And states like California,
- 25:40which is a state that has abortion up until birth, right
- 25:43now does not have the right to deprive you of your right to
- 25:47life if you are a baby. It does not have that right.
- 25:49So this idea that, well, we just let the states decide who lives
- 25:53and who dies is false. Imagine if the abolitionist
- 25:58during the time of slavery said, well, we just are going to let
- 26:01the states decide who's enslaved and who's free.
- 26:05We're just going to let the states decide, no?
- 26:08No. State, whether you're Alabama or
- 26:11New York, talking about the North versus the South in the
- 26:13time of slavery, has the right to allow other people to enslave
- 26:18others. Similarly, no state has the
- 26:21right to allow a parent to kill their child, to allow an
- 26:25abortionist to be paid to go and murder a baby.
- 26:28No one has that right. In fact, you have the
- 26:31constitutional right to live when you are born today and when
- 26:35you are preborn. And that is the pro-life
- 26:37position. That is what we are fighting
- 26:38for. So back to the state ballot
- 26:40initiatives. Well, what about the polling?
- 26:44People say like the polling, you know, I, I, I, my understanding
- 26:47is, I mean, again, theorizing here, but you know, what is
- 26:50behind JD Vance and President Trump flip flopping on abortion?
- 26:53What is behind this? Why are they doing this right?
- 26:56Could it be that people are close to them saying you got to
- 26:58do this to win, you got to do this to win?
- 27:00Well, if that is the case, let's look at some of the polling.
- 27:03People say that you can, you've probably heard this said.
- 27:07You can put the inputs you want into a poll and get the outputs
- 27:10that you hope for. You can torture poll data to
- 27:12show you multiple things. And I guarantee you, I know this
- 27:16because I've been doing this now for 15 years.
- 27:18I have seen the pro abortion side.
- 27:21I've seen pro abortion reporters, pro abortion
- 27:23pollsters run polls using language and setting up
- 27:28questions a certain way to try to persuade people to answer in
- 27:32a certain way because that would further cement public opinion
- 27:36that, oh, abortion is it's impossible to change minds.
- 27:38It's impossible to change hearts.
- 27:40Well, it's not impossible to change minds on abortion.
- 27:43Minds are being changed. Hearts are being changed.
- 27:47And some of the poll data, just so you guys know, and this is
- 27:49not even disputed, this initial poll data I'm going to share is
- 27:53that the majority of Americans want abortion restrictions.
- 27:59The majority of Americans are against late term abortions.
- 28:03They want an abortion restriction on late term
- 28:07abortion as an example. So I'm going to start there
- 28:10because it's kind of the easy thing that I think a lot of
- 28:12people still acknowledge. Yes, of course, some people are
- 28:15are for abortion, some abortion restrictions.
- 28:18Europe, as an example, most of Europe has a ban on a federal
- 28:23ban in each state 8 or each country in Europe, excuse me, on
- 28:26abortions after the first trimester.
- 28:29So just starting there alone, you can see how, unfortunately,
- 28:32Trump's current position on life is to the left of Europe.
- 28:37I mean, think about that for a minute.
- 28:39That is extraordinary, and that's also to the left of a lot
- 28:43of Americans who actually think that some abortion bans would be
- 28:46a good thing, right? But let's go and drill down a
- 28:49little bit more. Good Ranchers deliver some of
- 28:52the best beef, poultry, and pork directly to your door, directly

- 29:42Go to goodranchers.com today and enjoy delicious American meat
- 29:45delivered. But let's go and drill down a
- 29:48little bit more. I want to talk about the
- 29:49heartbeat law as an example. People say, well, maybe abort,
- 29:54maybe Americans oppose late term abortion, but the heartbeat law
- 29:57goes too far. Americans won't buy the
- 29:59heartbeat law. Well, let's look at the some of
- 30:01the poll data. This is from March 2023, so a
- 30:06little bit over a year ago. And this was in Florida, and SBA
- 30:10and Ragnar Research found that 62% of Floridians support
- 30:15legislation to protect unborn babies when a heartbeat is
- 30:19detected, with exceptions for rape, incest and life of the
- 30:22mother. 61% of independents and 58% of women surveyed supported
- 30:28the heartbeat law. Hispanic voters were even more
- 30:31likely than others to support the legislation at 76%.
- 30:35This is the heartbeat law banning abortions even in the
- 30:38first trimester. And this data shows, which from
- 30:41just a year ago that 61% of independents supported that,
- 30:45including 76% of Hispanic voters.
- 30:49Let's just stop there for a moment.
- 30:51This is a winning issue. It was a it has been a winning
- 30:54issue. And Governor DeSantis is proof
- 30:56of that. By the way, in Florida, when the
- 30:58question is asked about a baby's heartbeat being detected, would
- 31:02you protect that baby's life? And you get the majority of
- 31:06Floridians supporting that. Now, you might be listening and
- 31:09say, well, this amendment is up for a vote right now in Florida
- 31:13on abortion. People are afraid you're going
- 31:15to lose. How does that square?
- 31:17Well, the text of the amendment is very misleading.
- 31:21It was written by the abortion side, and it indicates that if
- 31:24you don't support this amendment, if you don't vote yes
- 31:28on this amendment, then you're somehow going to hurt Women's
- 31:31Health care, right? So it's all how the question is
- 31:34positioned to the voter or to the person responding on a poll.
- 31:39And that's part of the job of Governor DeSantis right now.
- 31:41He's going up and down the state to educate people on this
- 31:44extreme amendment in Florida that would permit abortions
- 31:49until birth. I think that's why it's
- 31:51particularly another demoralizing thing for the
- 31:53pro-life base that President Trump, who's a a native of
- 31:56Florida or he's a, he's a resident of Florida, excuse me,
- 31:59He has not come out against the amendment yet.
- 32:02He said I haven't shared yet how I'm going to vote.
- 32:05It's like keeping people in suspense.
- 32:07There's only one way to vote on that amendment if you are in any
- 32:10way pro-life and it's to vote no on Amendment 4 in Florida.
- 32:15We haven't even heard that yet from President Trump.
- 32:16He should come out boldly and say, of course I'm going to vote
- 32:19no on Amendment 4 because it would permit abortions until
- 32:22birth in Florida. That would be a winning a moral
- 32:26position and a winning position for President Trump.
- 32:30I want to share a few other polls.
- 32:31This is we're going to go back to 2021 and then go back, come
- 32:35forward to this year in 2024, September 2021, a Rasmussen poll
- 32:40found that US voters, this is this is a poll of all US voters.
- 32:46So there's I think 2000 respondents here.
- 32:48So it's not just in one state, and it's on the left and the
- 32:51right, Republican and Democrat of US voters.
- 32:54These are likely US voters, I should say. 46% of them said
- 32:59that they supported Texas's heartbeat law, and only 43% of
- 33:04them said that they opposed it. This is a Rasmussen poll.
- 33:06It's not some Pearly poll. It's Rasmussen.
- 33:09And more people, Americans at large, supported the Texas
- 33:13abort, abortion heartbeat law, then opposed it.
- 33:18You might be listening to this and say wow.
- 33:19I had no clue. It sounds like everybody hates
- 33:22Texas's laws, especially heartbeat laws.
- 33:25Everyone hates heartbeat laws. They're so radical.
- 33:27That's a media narrative that they're selling you.
- 33:30That's false. I think so many on the, the
- 33:33right, you know, know this. They know the media lies.
- 33:36They know the media misleads people.
- 33:39They know that the media creates false narratives to tell people
- 33:42that left is right and right is left and up is down and down is
- 33:44up. But somehow we believe in media
- 33:46narrative on abortion. We believe that, yeah,
- 33:49abortion's a losing issue. Yeah, everyone's pro abortion.
- 33:52Yeah, American women are just, you know, radically pro
- 33:55abortion. We all love abortion like Kamala
- 33:57Harris tells us to. It's not true.
- 34:00It's not true. And if you look at the poll
- 34:02data, not just the hand picked data from pro abortion
- 34:05journalists and Kamala Harris promoters, you look at more poll
- 34:11data than that, you'll find that American people are very torn on
- 34:14abortion. Most Americans don't like
- 34:16abortion. Many Americans want abortion
- 34:19restrictions. And it's our job to continue to
- 34:22build that light, that fire, to continue to build that rejection
- 34:26of abortion in our culture. I'm going to go to another poll.
- 34:30This is from February 2024. A poll conducted by The
- 34:33Economist and you Gov found that 48% of Americans would support a
- 34:39law limiting abortion to the 1st 16 weeks of pregnancy, so
- 34:42basically to the first trimester.
- 34:44So almost half of all abortion of all Americans support this.
- 34:48So there's a lot of other polls here.
- 34:50I'll, I'll share I'll share a couple more just just so we have
- 34:53them here. 2023 This is just last year, NPRPBS poll found
- 35:00that the proportion of Americans who support pro-life laws up to
- 35:03the time of cardiac activity at about six weeks gestation has
- 35:07increased from 27% to 40%. So there's actually been an
- 35:11increase in people who support heartbeat law.
- 35:15There's a lot of poll data to show you that the media's
- 35:18narrative on abortion is a lie. So my encouragement right now,
- 35:24where, where are we going with all this?
- 35:26Where is this landing? Here's my message to the Trump
- 35:30campaign. This is my message from
- 35:34pro-life. Americans fight for life.
- 35:38It's the right thing to do. It is the bold thing to do.
- 35:44There was a Trump that spoke at the March for Life not too long
- 35:49ago. Let's hear what that Trump had
- 35:51to say. Can we pull up that quote?
- 35:54As you know, President Trump is the only sitting president to
- 35:57have done that. Here's what he said.
- 36:06Together, we are the voice for the voiceless when it comes to
- 36:11abortion, Democrats ISM, And you know this.
- 36:14You've seen what's happened. Democrats have embraced the most
- 36:18radical and extreme positions taken and seen in this country
- 36:23for years and decades, and you could even say for centuries.
- 36:29Nearly every top Democrat in Congress now supports taxpayer
- 36:34funded abortion all the way up until the moment of birth.
- 36:42Last year, lawmakers in New York cheered with the light upon the
- 36:46passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped
- 36:50from the mother's womb right up until delivery.
- 36:57Then we had the case of the Democrat governor in the state
- 37:02of Virginia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and we love the
- 37:10Commonwealth of Virginia, but what is going on in Virginia?
- 37:15What is going on? The governor stated that he
- 37:19would execute a baby after birth.
- 37:22You remember that Senate Democrats even blocked
- 37:26legislation that would give medical care to babies who
- 37:30survived attempted abortions. And that's why I've called on
- 37:35Congress, two of our great senators here, so many of our
- 37:39congressmen here, and called upon them to defend the dignity
- 37:44of life and to pass legislation prohibiting late term abortion
- 37:48of children who can feel pain in their mother's womb.
- 37:55Look at the departure. I mean, that was a great Trump
- 37:57right there, right? I remember the electricity of
- 38:00the pro-life movement. He's saying he's actually
- 38:03calling on Congress to send him an abortion ban and later
- 38:06abortion. He's actually asking that from
- 38:08Congress. He's saying that the Democrats
- 38:11are extreme on abortion there even till post birth abortion
- 38:14infanticide. He's saying every they cannot
- 38:17speak for themselves. The unborn cannot speak for
- 38:19themselves, and I just want to encourage the Trump campaign to
- 38:24go back to that. Trump.
- 38:25People want a fighter. People want someone who's not
- 38:29going to bow to the establishment and bow to the
- 38:32Beltway pollsters and consultants, someone who's not
- 38:35going to waffle and run and hide, someone who's not going to
- 38:39be controlled by the false media narratives.
- 38:42That's what people want right now.
- 38:44That's not what Trump is, for whatever reason, delivering
- 38:47right now. In fact, he's trying to sound
- 38:49like a Democrat on abortion. And the response from the
- 38:52pro-life community right now is crucial.
- 38:55And I'm, I'm encouraging Trump to get out there and fight for
- 38:58life. And I want to encourage the
- 39:00pro-life community right now. We are two months, a little over
- 39:03two months out before the election.
- 39:05Mines are still being made-up. Candidates are still shape
- 39:09shifting in many ways. Positions are being shifted and
- 39:12changed. I urge all pro lifers to come
- 39:15out right now and say President Trump, stand for life.
- 39:21President Trump, if you want the pro-life vote, fight for life.
- 39:26That's not called voter suppression, my friends.
- 39:28That's called voter encouragement.
- 39:31That's called encouraging voters to do what their job is, to
- 39:36demand what they need and they want from their candidate, from
- 39:39candidates. You know, the pro-life vote is
- 39:42not owned. Nobody owns the pro-life vote.
- 39:46The pro-life vote is earned, and you don't earn the pro-life vote
- 39:51by throwing it under the bus, by listening to whatever pollsters
- 39:55are lying to you or media narratives are lying and
- 39:59throwing the babies under the bus.
- 40:01You earn the pro-life vote. And I would say the respect even
- 40:04of the middle moderates and I would even argue the respect.
- 40:08Of your average Joe by getting up there and saying I'm going to
- 40:12fight for what I believe in, for what is good and true.
- 40:14I'm going to fight for the lives of children.
- 40:16I'm going to fight for families, I'm going to fight for you.
- 40:19And So what President Trump should say specifically I
- 40:22believe is what he said in the past, I will fight for life.
- 40:26I will fight for babies. They have no one to defend
- 40:28themselves. They have no one to speak for
- 40:31them. I will help speak for them.
- 40:33That he will sign any pro-life legislation that crosses his
- 40:36desk as president, including the pro-life legislation that he
- 40:39used to ask Congress for back in the day.
- 40:42He used to ask Congress to send pro-life legislation to him.
- 40:45So instead of saying he would veto it or Vance saying for him
- 40:48that he'll veto it, he should say he will sign any pro-life
- 40:51law that passes his desk. And he should say that he will
- 40:54fight against the abortion expansion of the Democrats.
- 40:58He will fight against the abortion industry that is hell
- 41:02bent on killing and taking innocent human life.
- 41:07And he should say that he will use his executive branch to do
- 41:09everything in his power to fight for babies, to fight for
- 41:12children, to fight for the American family, and to make
- 41:15America a more welcoming place to bring human life into the
- 41:18world. That's going to be the winning
- 41:21message that will not just galvanized the pro-life base,
- 41:24but I think earn respect that Trump is a fighter, he's a
- 41:28maverick. He will do what's right.
- 41:30Those are my thoughts. And so pro-life people, people,
- 41:33raise your voices loud and clear to say we need you to fight for
- 41:36life. We need you to fight for the
- 41:37babies because our job is to be their voice.
- 41:40That is the job of pro-life activists.
- 41:42Today I want to close here with something I did in the last two
- 41:46lives last week. As you guys know, I spent a lot
- 41:48of time talking about the extremism of the Democrats, how
- 41:52radically pro abortion the Democrats are.
- 41:54It's tragic, but we closed our lives.
- 41:57These are heavy topics. We closed our lives last week
- 42:00with a Chaplet of the Divine Mercy.
- 42:02And I'd like to do that again because I believe this is a
- 42:05spiritual battle as much as it is a battle of votes and people.
- 42:10And I believe that we win by speaking the truth in and out of
- 42:15season, not compromising the truth, standing up for what is
- 42:19good and true. And I believe that we also win
- 42:22by prayer, by praying for mercy on this country, because a lot
- 42:27is at stake with this election. A lot is at stake every day.
- 42:312800 children are killed every day by abortion in this country.
- 42:35There is a force of evil at work, and there always has been
- 42:40since our parents in the Garden of Eden chose to bite that
- 42:43apple. There is a force for evil at
- 42:46work in the world, to lie and to kill and to destroy.
- 42:49But I believe the truth is power more powerful than a lie.
- 42:52And God, God will win in the end.
- 42:55So let's ask for his mercy. And I'm going to invite you to
- 42:58pray with me a chaplet of the Divine Mercy.
- 43:02This is a beautiful prayer for mercy.
- 43:04And we're going to pray one decade.
- 43:06So as I've shared before, there's five decades of this
- 43:08chaplet. There's one opening prayer and
- 43:10then 10 smaller prayers, but we're going to start with the
- 43:13Eternal Father, and then we're going to go to the 10 small
- 43:17beads of the decade. There's ten small prayers.
- 43:21So starting with the Eternal Father, in the name of the
- 43:23Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen, Eternal
- 43:28Father I. Offer you the body and blood,
- 43:32soul and divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus
- 43:36Christ, an atonement for our sins and those of the whole
- 43:39world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 43:41passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 43:45For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 43:48the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 43:51passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 43:55For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 43:58the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 44:00passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 44:04For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 44:07the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 44:10passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 44:13For the sake of a sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 44:16the whole world. For the sake of a sorrowful
- 44:19passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 44:22For the sake of a sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 44:26the whole world. For the.
- 44:27Sake of a sorrowful passion. Have mercy on us and on the
- 44:28whole world. Thank you friends, for praying
- 44:30with me. Thank you for fighting for life
- 44:32and standing strong. Continue to do so and May God
- 44:37bless you all. This week we'll see you again on
- 44:41Friday, or if we might end up doing a lot before that, but
- 44:44we'll see you again soon. God bless you guys.
- 44:46Love your neighbor. It's a command that's been given
- 44:49to us, and for hundreds of years, loving your neighbor
- 44:52through healthcare was an important part of living out
- 44:55your faith. In fact, healthcare in general
- 44:57was done by neighbors coming together to support each other
- 45:01and ensure that each other's needs are met.
- 45:03This is one of the reasons that I love Crowd Health.
- 45:06Instead of relying on an insurance company who may or may
- 45:08not pay for the bill, Crowd Health allows you to crowdfund
- 45:12so that your neighbors that you are in a community with can help
- 45:15fund those bills. What's amazing is that Crowd
- 45:18Health has funded over 5000 medical bills in just the last
- 45:21two years. Crowd Health is your solution to
- 45:24the insurance companies and the big pharma companies that have
- 45:28created so much dissatisfaction in the healthcare world.
- 45:31The Crowd Health Service team is there for you to help you with
- 45:34your medical bills, help negotiate the best deal with the
- 45:37service provider, and then help help you crowdfund through the
- 45:40community to ensure that your bills get covered.
- 45:43Take for example, a young woman in Tennessee who is 19 years old
- 45:46and who lost her fingers in a tragic boating accident.
- 45:49Crowd Health got the medical bills, negotiated them, and then
- 45:52went to the funding community. Her bills were completely
- 45:55covered by the Crowd Health funding community.
- 45:57Whether it's accidents like this one, everything from babies in
- 46:01NICU to brain tumors, the Crowd Health community is designed to
- 46:04support your neighbor when they are in need.
- 46:07What's so powerful about this Healthcare is that it's done
- 46:09voluntarily through the principle of loving ones
- 46:12neighbor by all of the people who are bought into the system.
- 46:15Keep in mind, crowd Health is not insurance.
- 46:18It's a system to better love your neighbor and experience a
- 46:21community in helpingyouwithyourhealthcare.learnmore@joincrowdhealth.com.
