- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn out to turn turn the water the water
- 1:48Speaker 1: yall come, come on your thing. Uh huh, I shall well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I thought I think of my life in terms of blessings.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You know, I take mostly a positive approach and a
- 2:22Speaker 1: positive spin to my life. I hardly ever dweil on
- 2:27Speaker 1: you know the what's well. I can't say that I
- 2:30Speaker 1: don't think about the what's wrong in it because I
- 2:32Speaker 1: have to, because I have to address problems as they arise.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But I try not to let them consume me. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: let the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive
- 2:44Speaker 1: things that has occurred in my life, the good things
- 2:47Speaker 1: that God has done for me, the power that He's
- 2:51Speaker 1: displayed in my life, the protection he's given me over
- 2:55Speaker 1: the years to being tucked under his wings. I focus
- 2:58Speaker 1: on the things that he promises me. I think of
- 3:02Speaker 1: all all the goodness that I perceived to come my way.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:08Speaker 1: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 1: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 1: put out into space, and what you pray about is
- 3:17Speaker 1: what you receive. You know, and so I've become better
- 3:20Speaker 1: and better at that. It's not to say that I'm
- 3:23Speaker 1: I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
- 3:27Speaker 1: think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
- 3:30Speaker 1: and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
- 3:33Speaker 1: going to do and saying and all of this his
- 3:36Speaker 1: That's not to say that I'm not concerned about it,
- 3:38Speaker 1: but I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:49Speaker 1: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:55Speaker 1: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 1: of my life, and I was taking myself into directions
- 4:03Speaker 1: that I thought would be best for me, and I
- 4:06Speaker 1: aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I was driving when I gave up and I let
- 4:20Speaker 1: God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
- 4:24Speaker 1: spirit to what God had for me, For what God
- 4:28Speaker 1: could see for me, for what God could do in
- 4:32Speaker 1: my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
- 4:37Speaker 1: he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
- 4:44Speaker 1: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:47Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 1: be nearly as demanding and as offsetting as you think
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
- 5:04Speaker 1: God's will, that if I let God tell me what
- 5:07Speaker 1: to do, that it would cause me to not to
- 5:10Speaker 1: be able to do a certain some things I wanted
- 5:12Speaker 1: to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
- 5:15Speaker 1: wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
- 5:18Speaker 1: and my future and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man because see,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:28Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:30Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:33Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:35Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:40Speaker 1: part of it. And that's the part that I finally
- 5:43Speaker 1: got through my head to let God do it his
- 5:45Speaker 1: way and to show me a better way, and to
- 5:49Speaker 1: teach me a better way and expose to me a
- 5:52Speaker 1: better way. And when I opened up my mind to
- 5:54Speaker 1: what God was talking about, I began to see things
- 5:58Speaker 1: totally differently, and things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:05Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:09Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:16Speaker 1: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:22Speaker 1: if I told it all day long, would he done
- 6:25Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:27Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what He's done for me because it's such
- 6:31Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:35Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:39Speaker 1: because I'm still shocked. You can't be him. You can
- 6:43Speaker 1: strive for perfection. I hear people saying it all the time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I applaud you for saying you want to be perfect,
- 6:48Speaker 1: but you ain't and you can't. So you quit saying it.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You quit saying it to me, quit saying it to
- 6:54Speaker 1: other people. I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: something that you cannot have because he said you can't
- 7:01Speaker 1: do it. But that's what he'd have for. He'd have
- 7:04Speaker 1: for the moments when you stumble and you fall, and
- 7:06Speaker 1: you go stumble and fall. So you got to get
- 7:09Speaker 1: that part right. Man to stumbling falling part is coming.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But see, you get God in your life and it
- 7:14Speaker 1: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll
- 7:18Speaker 1: over laid their languish. That's what God is for. So
- 7:23Speaker 1: when you stumbling, fall, you get back up because you're
- 7:26Speaker 1: going to make mistakes, You're going to get it wrong,
- 7:30Speaker 1: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
- 7:33Speaker 1: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
- 7:37Speaker 1: going to happen to you the moment you make a
- 7:40Speaker 1: decision to do better the moment you try to be more.
- 7:44Speaker 1: The devil got to send his attackers, man, and he
- 7:47Speaker 1: controls certain people. He just got people as on his
- 7:50Speaker 1: side twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all
- 7:54Speaker 1: met one or two of me in your life. They're
- 7:56Speaker 1: just busy with the business of nothingness. They it's busy
- 8:00Speaker 1: about to do about the destruction of others. You said,
- 8:04Speaker 1: I know him, you know him. They coming. But here's
- 8:07Speaker 1: what you got to hold fast too. They can't take
- 8:10Speaker 1: away nothing from you that God gave you. They didn't
- 8:14Speaker 1: make you. See, people who claim to have made you,
- 8:18Speaker 1: if they're so in to make you business, why don't
- 8:21Speaker 1: they make theirselves? Or if they ain't with you no more?
- 8:24Speaker 1: And they're so busy in them I made you business,
- 8:27Speaker 1: why don't they make somebody else? Since since you want
- 8:31Speaker 1: to get credit from making somebody make yourself, if you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: responsible for someone else's success, then you should easily be
- 8:40Speaker 1: able to take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:44Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 8:47Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. I
- 8:51Speaker 1: just hope, man, that I'm giving it to God. The
- 8:53Speaker 1: way I said I would give it to him, that
- 8:55Speaker 1: I would unload every chance I got that I was
- 8:58Speaker 1: supposed to without being you know, or here he come again.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You know, I try not to be that, but man,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:05Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show? What else you want me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours? I can't give God
- 9:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:16Speaker 1: give an honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise that you ain't got
- 9:27Speaker 1: twelve minutes to give him out the day. That don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: make no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life
- 9:33Speaker 1: God has given me in exchange for so small of
- 9:36Speaker 1: effort that I put forth. Don't let the effort you
- 9:39Speaker 1: got to put forth to God seems so dawning that
- 9:41Speaker 1: you don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems
- 9:43Speaker 1: like a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what
- 9:45Speaker 1: he'd be given us for real. So if you want
- 9:48Speaker 1: a real life, you want a real shot at what
- 9:50Speaker 1: you can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:52Speaker 1: what you can become who you really are. Go to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: let him fix you. Man, that's all you're listening Morning
- 10:00Speaker 1: Show one two, one, two three. I've got sunshine on
- 10:10Speaker 1: a cloudy day. Come on now when it's cold outside.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I got the month of May. Well, I guess you say,
- 10:21Speaker 1: what can make me feel this way? The answer is
- 10:26Speaker 1: my girl, I've gone so much loved. Yeah, get out
- 10:38Speaker 1: with it, man, really, man, if I could have been
- 10:41Speaker 1: anything else, I'd have been a hardass lounge single. But
- 10:46Speaker 1: I just wanted to be well paid. But I wanted
- 10:49Speaker 1: to be able to be in the lounges and rewrite
- 10:51Speaker 1: hits and do what I wanted to do. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Sherley Strawberry calling
- 10:56Speaker 1: for real Mississippi Monica, nephew, tummy yours truly, Ladies, gentlemen,
- 11:02Speaker 1: anybody got anything on their mind? Juniors out again today? Anybody?
- 11:06Speaker 1: Huh question? Yeah, I'm right here listening. If you had
- 11:12Speaker 1: a time machine, yes, what time period would you travel to?
- 11:17Speaker 1: What time period would I travel too? I would go
- 11:22Speaker 1: right back to sixty Really, why the sixties now, not
- 11:32Speaker 1: the sixties when I was sixty. Yeah, go back to
- 11:38Speaker 1: the sixties now. No, I would go back to sixty,
- 11:43Speaker 1: meaning I would go back to when I was sixty,
- 11:46Speaker 1: because that's really been the best I've had it. I
- 11:49Speaker 1: don't want the sixties. I was alive in the sixties.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Let me tell y'all what was happening in the sixties.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Lunch counter cities still had a segregated bathrooms and water founders.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I grew up in a city with those worked West Virginia.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I don't need the sixties. There was no technology that
- 12:10Speaker 1: was three TV stations three to five, and eight TV
- 12:15Speaker 1: went off at midnight on the weekends and stayed on
- 12:20Speaker 1: to two. I don't need to see the sixties again.
- 12:23Speaker 1: There was no video games of any kind. Staying inside
- 12:27Speaker 1: was a punishment of the highest degree. You might as
- 12:31Speaker 1: well have took me out back and flogged me then
- 12:34Speaker 1: to make me stay in this house. Why would I
- 12:36Speaker 1: want to stay in the house. Clearly, that's nothing in
- 12:39Speaker 1: here that belongs to me. And I was made aware
- 12:41Speaker 1: that on the daily basis by my father by these
- 12:45Speaker 1: words here, you ain't bought a damn thing in here.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Put that so I wasn't allowed to turn the TV channel.
- 12:53Speaker 1: The only time I could watch TV was on Saturday
- 12:56Speaker 1: mornings because they was busy and had a chance to
- 12:58Speaker 1: watch cartoons. So do I want to go back to
- 13:01Speaker 1: the sixties, Naves, That's when white folks was really white
- 13:05Speaker 1: in the nineteen sixties. They bought that back since Donald Trump.
- 13:09Speaker 1: So no, I have no desire to go back to
- 13:11Speaker 1: the sixties at all. But when I was sixty, though,
- 13:15Speaker 1: I was bawling. That's as far back as I need
- 13:18Speaker 1: to go. I don't need them farties. I was going
- 13:20Speaker 1: to hell in the forties on a roller coaster front
- 13:24Speaker 1: row seat. I had too much going on, and I
- 13:27Speaker 1: was going running in the chance of being very sick.
- 13:31Speaker 1: So all right, last little black history mixed in that.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Thank you yet coming up with thirty two minutes after
- 13:40Speaker 1: the hour, we got the nephew and run that brank
- 13:42Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to show, all right, enough,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is time to run that frank back. What you
- 13:49Speaker 1: got for us? Uh, we're gonna go to the church.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Char I'm sorry, We're gonna go to the church. We're
- 13:59Speaker 1: going to talk about church members. Creeping creep, creep, creep
- 14:04Speaker 1: all right, everybody opened up your books to chapter five
- 14:08Speaker 1: or creeping U pastor creeping Here we go. I cant
- 14:14Speaker 1: dog if you quad so I'm trying to be speaking.
- 14:19Speaker 1: You got him? How are you trying? I'm doing it.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I ain't doing too good. You've been over there praying
- 14:28Speaker 1: for my wife again, right right right, yes, sir, you
- 14:32Speaker 1: came over here three times in one week. My wife
- 14:36Speaker 1: had already went through the operation and all that she's
- 14:38Speaker 1: gonna be fine. I don't need you over a praying
- 14:41Speaker 1: three times a week, because, honestly, I think it's so.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I think it's something else on your mind when you
- 14:45Speaker 1: come over here praying for my wife. I ain't stupid, brother.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You kind of hold it, brother, This bluddy, this is well.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Your wife was on the second shot in list whatever
- 15:00Speaker 1: the actually to come by. Rever ain't man requested that
- 15:04Speaker 1: I come by. Okay, he ain't requested for you to
- 15:07Speaker 1: bring your blacks to my house for no damn three
- 15:09Speaker 1: times in one week, man, So you can cut that
- 15:11Speaker 1: boy down with me. You cut that bull. Hold it, brother.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I came with sister Georgia the first time. The second
- 15:21Speaker 1: time I came by myself because she wasn't able to
- 15:23Speaker 1: come by, and I only stayed fifteen men, he's time.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So what's the problem, because I already know what you
- 15:31Speaker 1: what youre doing. I know you're trying to holler my wife.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I ain't shoop. How put your wife? I heard a wife?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Why would I happen to your wife? She's part? Already
- 15:39Speaker 1: know what you already know what you're doing. Man, you
- 15:42Speaker 1: up in his father my white wine, wine whine. Nobody
- 15:45Speaker 1: at the house. I already know what you're doing. Let
- 15:46Speaker 1: me tell you something. Keep your black away from my
- 15:49Speaker 1: damn house. Did you want to pray for my wife
- 15:51Speaker 1: and play my wife? Wait? You ain't wait man, you
- 15:56Speaker 1: can't talk to you about lay hand. That's what you're
- 16:01Speaker 1: gonna now, Brother, ain't gonna be none of that, and
- 16:03Speaker 1: ain't gonna be none of that. You're talking to the
- 16:05Speaker 1: wrong brother. Nine Okay. Now, first of all, you're not
- 16:08Speaker 1: gonna disrespect me and curse me out. Okay, that's not
- 16:13Speaker 1: even the way brothers should be talking to brothers. Second
- 16:16Speaker 1: of all, if there's any laying on the hands, it's
- 16:18Speaker 1: gonna be my hand laying on you. Okay. You ain't
- 16:21Speaker 1: from the lady. You ain't from the lady, I know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: trying to lay my wife. If I find out what
- 16:26Speaker 1: you know not you mess around with my wife, it's
- 16:29Speaker 1: gonna be, I know, trying to do crazy. I'm just
- 16:33Speaker 1: letting you talk. I'm gonna say it one more time.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Keep your black trop around my First of all, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: told you once again you can't be talking to me
- 16:41Speaker 1: like that. Now I'm trying to be cool about the
- 16:45Speaker 1: situation because I know you may be just upset. Okay,
- 16:48Speaker 1: I can appreciate that. Okay, I have a wife, and
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'll be upset if somebody who's coming back to my
- 16:54Speaker 1: wife won't you won't show out what your wife. I
- 16:57Speaker 1: do spend my time with my wifer. I do you know?
- 17:00Speaker 1: I said no, I only can anybody rout your house?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Maybe I need to come out your house and how
- 17:04Speaker 1: that's your wife? Were you welcome to Maybe maybe I'm
- 17:08Speaker 1: come come and come lay something over there? On? Huh?
- 17:11Speaker 1: God Holder Holder, one man, hold the one man I
- 17:17Speaker 1: told you before being disrespectful. Now, that was a very
- 17:21Speaker 1: idiotic statement for you to make. Okay, that's what's going
- 17:25Speaker 1: to happen if I kill your black said my house again.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna play this man and then I'm getting on
- 17:30Speaker 1: the phone with you, you your pastors any more than
- 17:33Speaker 1: because if anybody come by my house again and I
- 17:35Speaker 1: ain't there, I'm kicking your black got a promise, you know.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Just that's it. Look here, brother, if that's gonna be
- 17:44Speaker 1: any that's what going on, I'm gonna be kicking your
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna lay my hands on you, and I'm gonna
- 17:50Speaker 1: give you a good sanctified whooping, and then I'm gonna
- 17:55Speaker 1: pray for you. I'm gonna pray to heal you. Just
- 17:57Speaker 1: put I'm gonna put up your okay, because I've had
- 18:01Speaker 1: it with you, you know. And I only went by
- 18:03Speaker 1: this to visit your wife because I was asked to
- 18:05Speaker 1: go visit your wife. Now that was a problem you
- 18:08Speaker 1: should have caused a pastor, okay, But you're not going
- 18:10Speaker 1: to disrespect me my wife to church on the phone.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Life you want to do somebody, you can meet me
- 18:15Speaker 1: any place. Well I've been man, you know. As a
- 18:18Speaker 1: matter of fact, I can go anywhere I want it
- 18:20Speaker 1: in this town. If I be at your house talking
- 18:22Speaker 1: to your wife, if the path asked me to go,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna be there. Okay. How you you know you
- 18:27Speaker 1: just you know it's just a stupid brother. Okay, you
- 18:31Speaker 1: need to come to church. You need to come to church,
- 18:34Speaker 1: the one. You need to come to church more often.
- 18:36Speaker 1: That's the problem. You don't come to church more often.
- 18:39Speaker 1: If you come to church more off, you wouldn't be
- 18:41Speaker 1: talking to me like that. You wouldn't be worried about
- 18:43Speaker 1: me and your wife because it must be something wrong
- 18:46Speaker 1: at your house. You'd be worried by me fooling with
- 18:48Speaker 1: your wife. Okay, so you need to check hut. Okay,
- 18:52Speaker 1: you need to check. How about that? Why don't you
- 18:54Speaker 1: do that? Why don't you Why don't you just check up? Okay? Commentary?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Is you the one that's cheating with my wife? That's
- 19:02Speaker 1: all I know? Who Tommy? Let me say you Tommy
- 19:06Speaker 1: the one? Tommy said, you're the one that's cheating around
- 19:09Speaker 1: with my wife? Tommy? Who? Who is Tommy? Tommy who?
- 19:18Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy Man, this is never your Tommy.
- 19:22Speaker 1: From Steve Harvey Morty show Man, your churchmen. Lawrence got
- 19:27Speaker 1: me to pray ball, but not wrong for that. You
- 19:30Speaker 1: know you're long, You're long. You know y'all know Highway
- 19:34Speaker 1: to Hell, all of y'all you know none stop no,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you know, y'all, just you know, y'all, just go. You
- 19:41Speaker 1: know I ain't gonna stout sign you know, I couln't go.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna play for all of y'all, all of your
- 19:48Speaker 1: brothers and nephew Tommy, Steve Harvey, brother Lawrence is wrong
- 19:52Speaker 1: for that. Okay, I'm gonna check him. I'm gonna check out.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I'm couldn't go. I don't talk to you on the moment.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm pretty I'm gonna say, hey, brother, you gotta tell
- 20:05Speaker 1: me what's the baddest radio show with the lab bad
- 20:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Martin the show on that on that slide
- 20:12Speaker 1: all the way to Hill. I'm gonna go. I'll talk
- 20:13Speaker 1: to you'll a bye in the head? Did I do it?
- 20:19Speaker 1: Whoa play too much? You know, sometimes you got to
- 20:23Speaker 1: pull that cussing out of something. These Christians. Sometimes you
- 20:25Speaker 1: can't get it out of meeting. But if you dig
- 20:29Speaker 1: a little deeper, my my, what's your wife? No, No,
- 20:32Speaker 1: you ain't got to pull it out them call me
- 20:37Speaker 1: thinking nephew. Coming up next, it is asked the CLO
- 20:40Speaker 1: with our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building,
- 20:43Speaker 1: ready for your love questions? Right after this, you're listening
- 20:47Speaker 1: to the same Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up
- 20:50Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. In entertainment news, Kyle
- 20:53Speaker 1: Rittenhouse wants to sue Lebron James and a few others
- 20:57Speaker 1: will tell you about that. Also, Tay Diggs at your
- 21:00Speaker 1: Tay Digs, Well, Tay has a new love interest. Okay,
- 21:04Speaker 1: we'll talk about that at the hour, but right now
- 21:09Speaker 1: it is a time to ask the CLO, our chief
- 21:12Speaker 1: love officer, a few questions. Here we go, chlo h Justin.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Justine in North Carolina says, my husband insists on wearing
- 21:21Speaker 1: protection when we are intimate because he doesn't want any
- 21:24Speaker 1: more children. I told him I refuse to use birth control,
- 21:28Speaker 1: so this was his solution. It doesn't seem natural for
- 21:31Speaker 1: a married couple to use condoms, does it, Well, it
- 21:35Speaker 1: doesn't seem natural. Good, But your husband says he don't
- 21:41Speaker 1: want the more children you refuse to use birth control.
- 21:46Speaker 1: He's took it upon himself to be proactive in the
- 21:50Speaker 1: UH child planned parenthood category. It seems a reasonable step
- 21:59Speaker 1: unless you have another solution. You know, there's other ways
- 22:03Speaker 1: of a compliment. Ain't nobody fitting to do that? Or well,
- 22:09Speaker 1: you know, hit him condom of a second. No, we can't.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I can't run the risk. Yeah, I don't. I don't
- 22:17Speaker 1: know what you're cutting. I mean, I know people are
- 22:19Speaker 1: done in this very safe procedure. I'm just an old
- 22:21Speaker 1: school It ain't gonna You're not cutting nothing here because
- 22:25Speaker 1: you know what you say, want some of that pressure
- 22:32Speaker 1: taking off. I understand. I ain't got no problem with that.
- 22:35Speaker 1: She don't want to take appeal. I got that she
- 22:37Speaker 1: don't have to. I'm all about that. Hey women power,
- 22:39Speaker 1: who whoop me too? Whoo whoop all that. Yeah, well
- 22:43Speaker 1: homie got a condom on. I don't know, because he
- 22:47Speaker 1: don't want another baby, and it's it's not natural for
- 22:52Speaker 1: them to do that. But it's also it's it's it's
- 22:57Speaker 1: it's a dilemma when one person won what's a baby
- 23:01Speaker 1: and the other person don't. Now it's the lady refusing
- 23:04Speaker 1: to take birth control because she wants a child and
- 23:07Speaker 1: he doesn't want a child. I think it may be
- 23:10Speaker 1: deeper than this, because if she wants a child or
- 23:14Speaker 1: doesn't mind, you know, allowing the nature to take his course,
- 23:17Speaker 1: then that's another thing. So I have no solution for you, ma'am,
- 23:22Speaker 1: none whatsoever. None forgive and take all right. Moving on
- 23:27Speaker 1: to Sharon and Culver City, Sharon writes, I'm a size
- 23:30Speaker 1: twenty two and I love big guys, but they aren't
- 23:34Speaker 1: attractive to me. It's like short women get all of
- 23:37Speaker 1: the tall men. I want to know if you can
- 23:39Speaker 1: do a dating segment on your show for big girls
- 23:42Speaker 1: and guys. I'd love to be a contestant. What do
- 23:45Speaker 1: you think, Well, I don't have that show anymore, and
- 23:49Speaker 1: we could, you know, try something on the radio sometime.
- 23:53Speaker 1: You know what I mean to do it? Oh, I'm
- 23:56Speaker 1: not really sure. A tall it's what the problem is, thought, sister.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I just want to bring that to your attention. It's
- 24:02Speaker 1: not that tall men like short women. It's just most
- 24:06Speaker 1: tall men most women are shorter than them. If you're
- 24:10Speaker 1: a really tall man, the woman you're gonna have is
- 24:13Speaker 1: shorter than you. So I don't think it's a tall problem.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I think you need. You need to be okay with
- 24:18Speaker 1: your man being wide. You need to be open to
- 24:22Speaker 1: just widen men. Don't worry about tall, tall and wide. Yeah,
- 24:28Speaker 1: you're gonna need You're gonna need well, you're gonna need
- 24:30Speaker 1: at least wide. Now, you need that. So I would
- 24:34Speaker 1: just you know, don't worry about tall here here you
- 24:37Speaker 1: know we have like big and tall stores. He let
- 24:40Speaker 1: me ask your question, sister, have you ever gone to
- 24:42Speaker 1: like Rockchesters or two Exhale and stood around the store.
- 24:48Speaker 1: You know, maybe if you get up, maybe maybe if
- 24:50Speaker 1: you get a part time job as a salesman in
- 24:52Speaker 1: the evening, when big men get off work, they gotta
- 24:55Speaker 1: go to big and Tall, they gotta go to Rochester.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Might not be a bad thing for you to do.
- 24:59Speaker 1: They come in there all the time because the big
- 25:01Speaker 1: as has got to go somewhere to find that shirt
- 25:03Speaker 1: that's got that twenty neck on it. They ask, go,
- 25:06Speaker 1: see you are twenty two. There's minds with neck that's
- 25:09Speaker 1: twenty two. That might be what we're looking for. Don't
- 25:13Speaker 1: worry about the height, thank you. Height doesn't matter. Well,
- 25:19Speaker 1: she's gonna have to now because once this man coming
- 25:22Speaker 1: there with that twenty two neck, I got news for you.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Ain't nothing small about his ass, Yes, caller, height is
- 25:29Speaker 1: not an issue focused on something else. I said it.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I ain't taking it back, Yeah, I said it. Well
- 25:37Speaker 1: then let me okay, well, let me speak up for
- 25:39Speaker 1: Tommy and her. So hype is not an issue. Just
- 25:43Speaker 1: get you elf. It is not an elf in height,
- 25:48Speaker 1: it's more inches in it. That's why I don't pronounce
- 25:54Speaker 1: it the same because it ain't say that's how I
- 25:59Speaker 1: feel about it, you know, now, and honor everybody on
- 26:05Speaker 1: the show. You know, let me ask how this is.
- 26:09Speaker 1: She opened to a short, fat man. Well she didn't.
- 26:13Speaker 1: She didn't specify hype. She said, I love big guys.
- 26:17Speaker 1: But then she did say, the tall men are attracted
- 26:21Speaker 1: to the short women or the short, well tall men.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Most women are shorter too, tall men. That's it's not
- 26:27Speaker 1: that they're attracted to him. I mean most women I
- 26:30Speaker 1: meet a shorter than me. I very rarely meet a
- 26:34Speaker 1: woman that's taller than me. I had a girl back
- 26:37Speaker 1: in the day that was my same size. Really yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 1: she was tall man, all right. Moving on to Terry
- 26:46Speaker 1: and Murphysboro. It was a wall in there. I knew
- 26:52Speaker 1: you weren't done. Terry said, I love my son to death,
- 26:56Speaker 1: but he just told me that he wants to pleasure
- 26:58Speaker 1: fraternity that I don't approve of. I'm not a Greek,
- 27:02Speaker 1: but when I was in college, this fraternity always stripped
- 27:04Speaker 1: their clothes off at parties, and I don't approve of that.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Cap who who what? Capito? Stop capits all Tommy, Tommy.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I don't know if you notice it, but they're doing
- 27:18Speaker 1: that a lot now. The capits take their clothes off
- 27:20Speaker 1: a lot. I'm a whoop they behind if I kept
- 27:22Speaker 1: him doing it, I ain't seen that, and I've seen
- 27:24Speaker 1: qs taddy shirts off, and that is what this man
- 27:26Speaker 1: is talking about right now. Kerry says he doesn't approve
- 27:29Speaker 1: of that. Should he not give his son the money?
- 27:33Speaker 1: Or should he encourage his son to just be an individual? Wait,
- 27:37Speaker 1: the money, give him money, give him the pledge? Yeah? What?
- 27:44Speaker 1: Or just should he just encourage his son to be
- 27:46Speaker 1: an individual? I had to scrape up my own little
- 27:49Speaker 1: change for that stuff you're talking about at the end.
- 27:56Speaker 1: They do it at the beginning. Now, oh no, yeah
- 28:01Speaker 1: we have dollar. It's a couple of thousand a bit.
- 28:04Speaker 1: It's a bit of change now what yeah, yeah, you're
- 28:08Speaker 1: sir in a thousand A couple of thousand, Yeah, easily.
- 28:13Speaker 1: I didn't know. Wear hell, I could have played a
- 28:19Speaker 1: couple of thousand. What real? That's what it is now?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Uh uh Tony. My sister just went over with a
- 28:29Speaker 1: KA two hundred and seventy something. People I said, ain't
- 28:33Speaker 1: no win here your lawing people went over, Yes, but
- 28:41Speaker 1: that's grass. I started doing the map, I said, all y'all,
- 28:48Speaker 1: page two thousand. Sometimes I started doing the man. It
- 28:53Speaker 1: ain't been two hundred and seventy seven queues at our
- 28:55Speaker 1: chapter fifty years. All right, thank you, Silo coming up
- 29:01Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment
- 29:03Speaker 1: news for you right after this. You're listening to the
- 29:08Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Morning Show. Okay, So, Kyle Rittenhouse intends to
- 29:14Speaker 1: sue Lebron James after he says Lebron defamed him on
- 29:18Speaker 1: social media. During his murder trial last year, Rittenhouse says
- 29:23Speaker 1: he's also going after President Biden and will be Goldberg,
- 29:26Speaker 1: among others. Nineteen year old Rittenhouse was charged with two
- 29:29Speaker 1: counts of homicide one count of attempt at homicide in
- 29:33Speaker 1: addition to other charges for shooting three people and then
- 29:36Speaker 1: he killed two people. Remember this was out of Black
- 29:39Speaker 1: Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Now, during his trial,
- 29:43Speaker 1: Rittenhouse took the stand and became very emotional. We all
- 29:47Speaker 1: saw it when he started crying when he was talking
- 29:50Speaker 1: about the event that led to the killings. But not
- 29:54Speaker 1: everyone was buying those tears, most notably Lebron, who sent
- 29:59Speaker 1: out a tweet mocking ritten houses break down to his
- 30:02Speaker 1: fifty million plus followers. Lebron tweeted, what tears I didn't
- 30:07Speaker 1: see one man knock it off? That boy ate some
- 30:10Speaker 1: lemonheads before walking into court, and so he's gonna get
- 30:14Speaker 1: sued for that. By Ritten House, you could get sued
- 30:17Speaker 1: for that. That's not gonna work. And if that works,
- 30:21Speaker 1: then that opens up the can for everything. First of all,
- 30:26Speaker 1: this boy is supposed to be in jail. There is
- 30:29Speaker 1: no other country in the world that I can think
- 30:36Speaker 1: of where a seventeen year old can get an illegal weapon,
- 30:42Speaker 1: drive across straight lines, driven by his mother to a
- 30:45Speaker 1: protest to take police action, and murder two people and
- 30:52Speaker 1: get set free. There's no nation that I know of
- 30:56Speaker 1: on Earth where this could happen. Only in the Great
- 31:01Speaker 1: United States of America. Yep, that's right, yes, sir, Yes,
- 31:07Speaker 1: it happened. Happened, Yes, sir. This is the only country
- 31:11Speaker 1: in the world where if they capture you, you can
- 31:16Speaker 1: scale and climb the walls of a government facility in
- 31:21Speaker 1: an attempted coup, get caught, and your ass is still available. Man,
- 31:27Speaker 1: they hate. That's treason. They hanging people places for that.
- 31:31Speaker 1: That's that's that's high treason. That's that's you going against
- 31:35Speaker 1: the government only in the United States of gold. I
- 31:39Speaker 1: thought it was just a rally that got out of hand,
- 31:42Speaker 1: I know, I know. Well the reason it was that
- 31:49Speaker 1: caller was because it got it incited it that said
- 31:53Speaker 1: we're gonna go down there, decided that that's what he'd
- 31:56Speaker 1: call it, and he made the other people in his
- 31:59Speaker 1: party call it that too, because at first, so he lied,
- 32:04Speaker 1: Oh that's not new Okaya. Oh no, they've been lying.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Lying is the way it is. And so you know,
- 32:17Speaker 1: this is the a miracle we live in. Yeah. The
- 32:19Speaker 1: sad part of this whole thing is this country is
- 32:22Speaker 1: not what the paperwork that he's written about says. This
- 32:25Speaker 1: country is supposed to be built on the constitution, but
- 32:28Speaker 1: it never lives up to the paperwork. So in Fox
- 32:33Speaker 1: keeps empowering him, putting him on TV. Well, the victims
- 32:37Speaker 1: need to sue him. Yeah, he's suing people. The victim
- 32:40Speaker 1: families need to sue him at the president into their
- 32:45Speaker 1: own one. All Right, we're moving on from this foolishness
- 32:49Speaker 1: and movie news. Beyonce and Zendia are in talks to
- 32:53Speaker 1: remake Douglas sirks classic nineteen fifty nine movie Imitation of Life.
- 32:59Speaker 1: What Sarah Jan Sarah Jane, that's right? Yeah, Okay, I
- 33:06Speaker 1: love me some Beyonce. But can I say to some
- 33:10Speaker 1: movies just don't need to be redone. I'm sorry, some
- 33:13Speaker 1: of them don't need I love me some Bee I do,
- 33:17Speaker 1: all right? We had we had no business doing Raising
- 33:20Speaker 1: in the Sun again with puff Dad. We had no
- 33:22Speaker 1: business doing that softer. Okay, I love me some Oprah,
- 33:28Speaker 1: but why are we doing color Purple again? Can't nobody
- 33:31Speaker 1: top what y'all did already? It's impossible. So for yes, Steve, Yes,
- 33:38Speaker 1: what is this movie about? Well? I was just gonna
- 33:41Speaker 1: tell you for the people who don't know. Imitation of
- 33:43Speaker 1: Life is a classic. It's based on the bestselling novel
- 33:46Speaker 1: by Fanny Hurt. It revolves around a white woman who
- 33:50Speaker 1: takes in an African American widow and her young daughter,
- 33:53Speaker 1: Sarah Jane Carla, whose fair skin allows Sarah Jane to
- 33:58Speaker 1: pass for white. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards.
- 34:02Speaker 1: That deals with issues of race, class, and gender, and
- 34:05Speaker 1: it was just very heart wrenching what happened at the end.
- 34:10Speaker 1: And I mean it's just a classic story. Classic. You
- 34:14Speaker 1: will cry if you're human on this movie. It's I
- 34:18Speaker 1: mean tears, a punk crocodile tears. You ain't gonna have
- 34:22Speaker 1: the hell You're Jackson saying that the day we can't
- 34:24Speaker 1: do this in defense of these two young women of
- 34:32Speaker 1: a movie I've never seen what I've learned because of
- 34:36Speaker 1: the way society is today, they actually have no recollection
- 34:41Speaker 1: that this is a classic. It's gonna be a brand
- 34:44Speaker 1: new take for them. The kids today didn't know that
- 34:48Speaker 1: Will Smith was the real prince of Ballad. The kids
- 34:52Speaker 1: today are looking at this new thing like that's it.
- 34:56Speaker 1: They don't know about this. They're gonna they're gonna take
- 34:59Speaker 1: it as their own and think, you know, so it
- 35:03Speaker 1: might do time. How old is this movie? Yes, that
- 35:10Speaker 1: movie is sixty three years old. Yeah, he came out
- 35:14Speaker 1: when you came out in two years after hour going
- 35:17Speaker 1: you know right here, let me let me, let me,
- 35:20Speaker 1: let me change my thought because because Eddie did Nutty
- 35:23Speaker 1: Professor after Jerry Jerry Lewis had done it so and
- 35:28Speaker 1: I had never seen that. Yeah, you can remake the class.
- 35:31Speaker 1: You never saw nutty professor coming up next. You're not
- 35:35Speaker 1: gonna believe oo's back? Remember Corey? Remember Corey used to
- 35:41Speaker 1: stop by with what he thought was so deep and
- 35:44Speaker 1: intellectual and stuff. Corey back. It wasn't deep, though. It's
- 35:49Speaker 1: just stupid to be back at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:52Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to the morning show. All right, stee.
- 35:57Speaker 1: If you're not gonna believe this, guess who's back Corey?
- 36:05Speaker 1: Remember Corey. That ain't deep, Corey, that's stupid, Tommy spraying Corey. Yes,
- 36:11Speaker 1: Corey is back on the show. Ladies and gentlemen, the
- 36:16Speaker 1: man that I've sorely missed for them, for the mental
- 36:20Speaker 1: clarity and the implications of intelligence that come out of
- 36:24Speaker 1: this man's mouth. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back. That
- 36:29Speaker 1: ain't deep Corey himself. Steve, what's up man? It's been
- 36:36Speaker 1: a minute, Corey. What's happening? Man? You've been got be
- 36:39Speaker 1: all right? Dog being good? Now't just getting you know? Hey? Man?
- 36:43Speaker 1: So tell me a little bit, man, I ain't seen
- 36:45Speaker 1: anywhow man? What what? What? What's been on your mind?
- 36:48Speaker 1: What's going on? Man? I'm like, you know, got a
- 36:51Speaker 1: little o some of my man. Let me as some
- 36:53Speaker 1: Steve like, if Ham is cured, what kind of disease
- 36:58Speaker 1: did he used to have? What? Co? And can my
- 37:02Speaker 1: chicken and turket catch dead too? I get you know,
- 37:05Speaker 1: just some folks are the really know about you know
- 37:08Speaker 1: what I'm saying? Yeah? Oh, little Core, that ain't deep. Okay,
- 37:16Speaker 1: So let me let me ask you this hit though. Stupid.
- 37:19Speaker 1: If if a person on death Road is about to
- 37:23Speaker 1: get lethal injection, if they have a heart at text
- 37:27Speaker 1: be folded, are you supposed to save them? I think so, Core,
- 37:36Speaker 1: I think that's stupid. Why you have been answering him spid? Okay?
- 37:44Speaker 1: I like, I like buying into it? Oh? Is that
- 37:47Speaker 1: what it is? Okay? Okay, let me ask you this
- 37:51Speaker 1: hit though. See, let me ask you this right here?
- 37:54Speaker 1: How do you get discombobulady? Because I really ain't never
- 37:57Speaker 1: seen anybody comebobulady? You know what? He get me? A
- 38:01Speaker 1: heavy y'all know what you mean? Man? Yeah? Because I
- 38:08Speaker 1: ain't seen nobody You looking at a combobulated over there.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I ain't never seen nobody come bobula. Yeah, that's that's heavy, Manna,
- 38:18Speaker 1: that's stupid. He ain't no deep thinker, Okay, let me
- 38:23Speaker 1: ask you this hist Uh yeah, didn't Noah hell woodpeckers
- 38:29Speaker 1: on his arc and if he did, we ain't kept them?
- 38:34Speaker 1: Well he kept them, I mean how they made it
- 38:36Speaker 1: through that? What I think? The vote your no drownd
- 38:41Speaker 1: you know what I stand. I'm saying, that's my favorite
- 38:43Speaker 1: right there. That's the best one I've ever heard. That's
- 38:48Speaker 1: something to think about. I got you better get your
- 38:53Speaker 1: ass down off back wall. I look back trying to
- 38:57Speaker 1: kill everybody in. Welcome back Corey, welcome him about it?
- 39:05Speaker 1: All right? Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:08Speaker 1: a husband gives his wife a ten million dollars Valentine's gift.
- 39:12Speaker 1: We'll get into that right after this. All right, you're
- 39:16Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Listen forget flowers,
- 39:22Speaker 1: forget chocolates, forget all of that. Listen to what this
- 39:24Speaker 1: Virginia man did. He spared no expense for Valentine's Day.
- 39:28Speaker 1: This man gave his wife a ten million dollar lottery ticket. Okay.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Her name is Maria Chikas. She's a stay at home mom.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Her husband bought the extreme million scratcher ticket at the
- 39:41Speaker 1: In and Out March in Manassa's Virginia, and this was
- 39:44Speaker 1: a few days before February fourteen. Turned the ticket into
- 39:47Speaker 1: the perfect Valentine's Day gift for his wife. She had
- 39:51Speaker 1: the choice of taking the full amount over thirty years,
- 39:54Speaker 1: or one time cash option of six million and some
- 39:57Speaker 1: change before taxes. She chose a of course, the six
- 40:00Speaker 1: million dollars. The story received a fifty thousand dollars bonus
- 40:04Speaker 1: from the Virginia Lottery for selling the winning ticket. And
- 40:07Speaker 1: this was really really sweet. So my question to the
- 40:10Speaker 1: guys is would you do that for your wife? You're
- 40:13Speaker 1: jacket six million? Not a lot of tea yot you
- 40:15Speaker 1: ask me? Yeah, of course, Yeah, that's not gonna happen.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you do that? I'm gone, y'all. I have left.
- 40:24Speaker 1: You left your wife, I left the whole family. What
- 40:28Speaker 1: are you talking about? Are you insane? Right now? For
- 40:31Speaker 1: ten million, no out six six tax six that's after tack.
- 40:37Speaker 1: You're leaving your buy over six million dollars. That's what
- 40:40Speaker 1: your buy out? Um. I have this families, this families
- 40:45Speaker 1: in deep trouble. Jesus horrible Guatemala. Here's a lottery drawing
- 40:52Speaker 1: away from Guatemala. I would that's like a really, that's
- 40:59Speaker 1: all it is. That would be a great mother stay
- 41:03Speaker 1: guilt Valentine anniversary gift. If you give your girl ten million,
- 41:09Speaker 1: best husband, I think I would cut it in half
- 41:12Speaker 1: and get her half for the lottery ticket. We got
- 41:15Speaker 1: to go down there together. Yeah, I don't. I'm worried
- 41:18Speaker 1: about her going down and getting his money and not
- 41:20Speaker 1: coming back. I'm worried because that's what you would do,
- 41:23Speaker 1: so shoot me out so bad, especially if she hears you.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna make that a goal. That's well, it ain't
- 41:37Speaker 1: gonna be a lottery tickets like, we ain't gonna win one,
- 41:39Speaker 1: but you know, well cash your check. That don't. Oh
- 41:49Speaker 1: doesn't mean that go up to that amount. I'm asking girl,
- 41:54Speaker 1: what if you trust and believe that makes this thing
- 41:59Speaker 1: out with you? What you want to stake it out
- 42:02Speaker 1: your account? Mister Harvey, Yeah, trust me write that thing
- 42:06Speaker 1: right up for you. Okay, I thank that. No, we
- 42:11Speaker 1: can't make it for that amount. Why but let me
- 42:15Speaker 1: ask you this. If you get a lot of your ticket,
- 42:17Speaker 1: do you think as the gift do you think he
- 42:19Speaker 1: was taking the cheap way out until you know you won?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Didn't you change? Didn't you change yours all this paper
- 42:26Speaker 1: and this and this card. What is this? That still
- 42:31Speaker 1: might not be a bad idea that you Yeah right,
- 42:37Speaker 1: but suppose you gave your girl that kind of money.
- 42:40Speaker 1: You know, just this is a gift and you're the
- 42:43Speaker 1: most wonderful. This is yours, no questions asked. You want
- 42:47Speaker 1: to take it and go shopping? You wanta go trip?
- 42:49Speaker 1: You wanna buy yourself cause, yeah, that'd be a great
- 42:57Speaker 1: that'll be a great call. Yeah, i'd marry you. See,
- 43:01Speaker 1: I don't hold your hand in everything. Better be the
- 43:07Speaker 1: roughest day of your life, best relationship you've ever had.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Why is his husband kicking his ass? Why he married me?
- 43:26Speaker 1: Kicking his hand? Congrats though, that's a beautiful thing. She'll
- 43:37Speaker 1: always remember Volati to stay from her baby, and please
- 43:42Speaker 1: spend this money wise it don't go broke. Yeah, like
- 43:46Speaker 1: so many of the lotter Like we've heard so many
- 43:48Speaker 1: man's done in the past. Yeah, fixed meal is big
- 43:51Speaker 1: for don't throw a financial planner. They get that much
- 43:55Speaker 1: money out of ten million down the hand your taxes,
- 44:01Speaker 1: taxes dog is gone. I'll tell you what make ten million?
- 44:03Speaker 1: Watch whatever? Get that much? Yeah? Coming up next to
- 44:09Speaker 1: prank phone call, from the nephew. Right after this. You're
- 44:13Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 44:17Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:21Speaker 1: The subject is she my queen or a narcissist. We'll
- 44:27Speaker 1: get into that in just a bit, but right now,
- 44:30Speaker 1: let's get to the prank phone call with the nephew.
- 44:32Speaker 1: What you got for us? Nap. You know, we're gonna
- 44:35Speaker 1: do something we're not supposed to do. We're gone always,
- 44:39Speaker 1: don't we always? We're going to actually talk about somebody's
- 44:44Speaker 1: child because dad, right there, that gets everyone's attention. That
- 44:51Speaker 1: cut you deep when you start talking about somebody's kids.
- 44:54Speaker 1: So this right here, y'all, your child is too fat?
- 45:01Speaker 1: Your child is too fat? What I mean? But I mean,
- 45:07Speaker 1: why are we running from They're awesome fat kids there,
- 45:09Speaker 1: they're awesome. I've asked fat kids what they've gotten smaller?
- 45:15Speaker 1: It happens your child is too fat. Cat dog. If
- 45:21Speaker 1: you will hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Kathy. Please, Hi, Kathy,
- 45:28Speaker 1: This is Kirby. I'm actually the the owner at the
- 45:31Speaker 1: daycare for mine's daycare. When your son comes. Okay, all right,
- 45:35Speaker 1: I'm sure you're familiar with my wife Anita. All right,
- 45:38Speaker 1: how are you doing today? I'm good. Oh, how's a
- 45:42Speaker 1: little little divine? How's he doing? He's good. He's laying
- 45:44Speaker 1: down taking a nap. Okay, you guys been coming here.
- 45:48Speaker 1: I guess about a year now, right, yeah, since he
- 45:50Speaker 1: was one. Okay, listen, I wanted to give you a call.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I'm looking at some some informations I was I was
- 45:57Speaker 1: Divine doing at home? Is he Is he eating properly
- 45:59Speaker 1: at home? When you say eating, what do you mean?
- 46:02Speaker 1: I mean? Is he getting U meals every time he's
- 46:05Speaker 1: supposed to get them while he's at home? Yeah, he's
- 46:10Speaker 1: doing pretty good. Okay, Now there's there's there's no situation
- 46:13Speaker 1: where you guys may be a shortage of food or
- 46:16Speaker 1: anything like that. Are you uh a short as the food? No, sir,
- 46:21Speaker 1: my husband works real good. We don't have a problem
- 46:24Speaker 1: with as short as the food. Is there a problem
- 46:26Speaker 1: with him? Well, you know, we're looking at the records
- 46:28Speaker 1: and Lordlevinus too, Yes, sir. Have you looked at the
- 46:33Speaker 1: comparison of two year olds? The majority of two year
- 46:36Speaker 1: olds and in comparison to I guess I should say
- 46:39Speaker 1: size in comparison to the bone side. You mean like
- 46:43Speaker 1: in body way body size. Yeah, I mean he's a
- 46:45Speaker 1: little tall. You know, he wasn't a small chap when
- 46:48Speaker 1: he's borne, he was ten pounds. But no, he's on
- 46:51Speaker 1: the scale of right where he should be. He's just
- 46:54Speaker 1: a little, you know, taller because his daddy is tall.
- 46:56Speaker 1: But he's doing okay, So you're you don't think he's
- 47:00Speaker 1: anywhere in the in the ballpark of of of of
- 47:04Speaker 1: obesity at two? You mean fat? I mean I didn't
- 47:08Speaker 1: want to be blunt, but but but miss Cathy, you're
- 47:12Speaker 1: I mean, I mean your sons. Let me just say,
- 47:15Speaker 1: on a Sunday, I'm relaxing and we're talking about you
- 47:19Speaker 1: think my son is a little overweight or what he's
- 47:22Speaker 1: what's the problem? Well, I mean I think it's fat,
- 47:26Speaker 1: you know, and and the problem I'm gonna think I'm
- 47:29Speaker 1: noticing the records of everything as wait wait, wait, wait,
- 47:32Speaker 1: we need to back up to you think he's sat
- 47:34Speaker 1: I've never spoken to you, mister Kirby. Is that what
- 47:37Speaker 1: she said? My name is Kirby. Okay, so every morning
- 47:39Speaker 1: that I dropped him off for a year and I
- 47:42Speaker 1: give my daycare money. Miss Benita has never said anything
- 47:45Speaker 1: about his eating habits. So you're telling me that you
- 47:48Speaker 1: think my son is sat with him. You deal with
- 47:51Speaker 1: him on a daily basis. I don't deal with him
- 47:52Speaker 1: on a daily basis. What I'm looking at as records
- 47:54Speaker 1: that are showing me that he's eating way more than
- 47:57Speaker 1: the rest of anybody at the daycare, and only that
- 48:00Speaker 1: he's drinking probably a gallon of milk a day, a
- 48:03Speaker 1: gallon of milk. Y'all only get snacks two times a day,
- 48:06Speaker 1: and he's there only for breakfast and lunch. And how
- 48:09Speaker 1: in the hell is he drinking a gallon of milk?
- 48:11Speaker 1: And if he is, ma'am. But all I know is this, No, No,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I'm blown away by this because you're calling me on
- 48:18Speaker 1: a Sunday, calling my damn child fat. That's the problem.
- 48:21Speaker 1: And your wife has never said a damn thing. Never
- 48:25Speaker 1: has she said one thing to me in a year
- 48:26Speaker 1: when she collected my damn daycare money. She ain't said
- 48:29Speaker 1: my son is eating y'all at a house at home. Okay, Well,
- 48:31Speaker 1: you know, my wife's a different person and she tries
- 48:33Speaker 1: to be cordial with everyone. He's the one who deals
- 48:36Speaker 1: with me, mister Kirby. I've never met you never met you,
- 48:39Speaker 1: especially all of a Sunday. The reason why I'm calling
- 48:41Speaker 1: you on a Sunday, ma'am, is that I know tomorrow
- 48:44Speaker 1: if you're gonna be trying to drop your son off,
- 48:46Speaker 1: I am gonna drop him off. I am. No. No,
- 48:49Speaker 1: that's that's kind of the reason why I'm calling you. Now.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Here's where we knew that. Here. Either you can keep
- 48:54Speaker 1: him at home. No, I'm not keeping him at home.
- 48:57Speaker 1: My husband works and I work. I'm up in my
- 49:00Speaker 1: damn son off at six thirty like I do every morning. Okay, man,
- 49:04Speaker 1: man listening if we can't get him, if you really
- 49:08Speaker 1: want to get this on the side, because obviously you
- 49:10Speaker 1: ain't the one that need to be talking to me,
- 49:12Speaker 1: because if you're not there every day and I deal
- 49:14Speaker 1: with your wife, I'm telling you that your son is
- 49:17Speaker 1: too big to be is coming every morning if that's
- 49:22Speaker 1: the case, and if he's eating at a house at home,
- 49:24Speaker 1: I'll send him some extra, But what I pay my
- 49:26Speaker 1: money for is what you're gonna feed him for two
- 49:29Speaker 1: full milk and two snacks, and if he need extra,
- 49:32Speaker 1: I'll put some in his bag. But he's drinking a
- 49:35Speaker 1: gallon of milk a day. Are you looking there. I
- 49:38Speaker 1: don't care. There's no way possible that he can drink
- 49:41Speaker 1: a gallon of milk a day. Ye. Here's here's here's
- 49:43Speaker 1: the deal. I don't want you to have to stop
- 49:45Speaker 1: bringing your son now, and I'm not and I'm not.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Here's my second alternative. I will put him on a diet. Okay,
- 49:51Speaker 1: I'll give him an apple in the day. You ain't, no,
- 49:53Speaker 1: damn you ain't. Are you from the health food? From
- 49:57Speaker 1: now I will. I will give him an apple and
- 49:59Speaker 1: a glass of water and the morning, and I'll give
- 50:00Speaker 1: him an apple and a glass of water in the evening,
- 50:02Speaker 1: and then you guys can feed him when he gets home.
- 50:04Speaker 1: You must be certified in the food program, especially if
- 50:07Speaker 1: you're sitting up here telling me my damn son is
- 50:09Speaker 1: going on a diet and he's not drinking no water
- 50:12Speaker 1: and no apple. He needs a full snack. If the
- 50:15Speaker 1: other kids is having an apple and water, then that's
- 50:18Speaker 1: that you better be serving him. But if that ain't
- 50:19Speaker 1: the case, in hell, no, he better get the full snack.
- 50:21Speaker 1: So if that's graham crackers and apple juice, well damn it,
- 50:23Speaker 1: that's what my son better be getting. And if he
- 50:25Speaker 1: won't anstra he better get it. Listening. All I'm trying
- 50:28Speaker 1: to tell you is your son drink two months. He
- 50:31Speaker 1: drinks two much. Oh whoa, whoa, whoa. You need to
- 50:34Speaker 1: back at the top. I know you did not cussing me.
- 50:37Speaker 1: I know you ready to cut to me. Let me
- 50:42Speaker 1: tell you what like you ain't got to worry about it.
- 50:44Speaker 1: We don't have nothing else to talking about. My husband, me,
- 50:47Speaker 1: your wife, and everybody that works at damn daycare better
- 50:51Speaker 1: be there in the morning, because that's six thirty. We
- 50:53Speaker 1: gonna be there, and my son he's coming all week,
- 50:57Speaker 1: and he gonna eat all week. If he walked two
- 51:01Speaker 1: gallons of milk, he gonna drink it. If he walked
- 51:03Speaker 1: two plates of food, he gonna get it. Because I
- 51:06Speaker 1: tell you what, we saved them good money to come
- 51:08Speaker 1: to that daycare. So then you're gonna bring your child
- 51:12Speaker 1: up there that I'm gonna have to put him on
- 51:13Speaker 1: some swim fast. Now I will put your child on
- 51:16Speaker 1: swim fast. I was trying not to get him to subspected,
- 51:19Speaker 1: but I will ask give him some slim fast, and
- 51:21Speaker 1: you're gonna get a slim fast shipping. I'm gonna whoop
- 51:25Speaker 1: y'all that whoever gave it to him, whoever gave it
- 51:27Speaker 1: to him, they gonna get a slim fast shipping. All
- 51:30Speaker 1: the little kids gonna have some slim fast. If he
- 51:31Speaker 1: getting some, he better eat whatever they eat. And if
- 51:34Speaker 1: they eat't steak, well damn it, he better have some too.
- 51:36Speaker 1: If we had steak, he'd probably eat the whole damn
- 51:38Speaker 1: cow he eatn't care. I'll pay for it. But he
- 51:41Speaker 1: been like getting up slim fast. I will shut it
- 51:44Speaker 1: down about my child. Okay, I got something else you
- 51:47Speaker 1: need to know about your son? What the else do
- 51:50Speaker 1: I need to know? Besides you think my son is overweight?
- 51:54Speaker 1: What the elf can you tell me today? I need
- 51:56Speaker 1: to tell you this. I need to tell you that.
- 51:58Speaker 1: This is never you. Tammy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Your girlfriend Lucretia got me to prank call you. What
- 52:08Speaker 1: did you just say? What did you just say? This
- 52:13Speaker 1: is nephew tim Me from the Steve Harvey Morning Til.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Your girlfriend Lucretia got me to frank phone call you.
- 52:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna be said to that. She. No, I don't
- 52:25Speaker 1: play about my damn son at all. That's my only son.
- 52:28Speaker 1: I don't play about him. I'm gonna be the Is
- 52:31Speaker 1: she there? It's on? After this, it's a it is on. Hey,
- 52:38Speaker 1: I got one more thing. I gotta ask you, baby,
- 52:40Speaker 1: what is What is the baddest and I mean the

- 53:09Speaker 1: gallon a week. That was our gental plan. Thank you, nephew.

- 53:53Speaker 1: Fuck love and hold on tight. We got it poor you.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Here it is the Strawberry letter, Thank you nephew. Subject.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Is she my queen or a narcissist? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:03Speaker 1: I need your advice. I've been dealing with this woman
- 54:06Speaker 1: for ten years. I am forty eight years old and
- 54:09Speaker 1: she is forty five. When I first met her, I
- 54:12Speaker 1: fell in love quickly, and I thought she loved me.
- 54:16Speaker 1: She said all the right things, like she wants to
- 54:18Speaker 1: spend the rest of her life with me, and buy
- 54:20Speaker 1: a house with me, and so on. And we've always
- 54:23Speaker 1: talked about marriage, but as time went on she changed.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Now we don't discuss marriage anymore. But we did buy
- 54:31Speaker 1: a house. Things went crazy after that, and I don't
- 54:34Speaker 1: know if I'm living with my queen or a narcissist.
- 54:38Speaker 1: She criticizes everything I do, and she blames me for
- 54:42Speaker 1: everything that goes wrong in the house. She yells at
- 54:45Speaker 1: me all the time, even in front of company. She
- 54:48Speaker 1: doesn't like to be questioned about anything. She doesn't take
- 54:51Speaker 1: accountability for her faults, and more importantly, she never gives
- 54:55Speaker 1: me props on sex anymore. She tries to control everything,
- 55:00Speaker 1: and I'm trying to remain respectful no matter how she
- 55:03Speaker 1: treats me. I find myself always apologizing just to keep
- 55:07Speaker 1: the peace. I have started packing my belonging so I
- 55:10Speaker 1: can leave. I'm not married to this woman, but I
- 55:14Speaker 1: loved us together and hoping and praying that we can
- 55:18Speaker 1: work things out. I asked her to go to counseling
- 55:21Speaker 1: and she said that wasn't a very manly thing to
- 55:24Speaker 1: ask a woman. My purpose in life was to meet
- 55:27Speaker 1: this woman's every need, but now I want to swing
- 55:30Speaker 1: on her and that's not a comfortable place for me
- 55:33Speaker 1: to be in. In a last ditch effort to please her,
- 55:37Speaker 1: I got a chef and a masseuse for Valentine's Day
- 55:40Speaker 1: and she said the food was salty and the girl
- 55:43Speaker 1: didn't massage her deeply enough. Should I tell her I
- 55:46Speaker 1: want out or should I go without saying a word.
- 55:48Speaker 1: I'm so torn and it's a life changing move, so
- 55:52Speaker 1: I need your advice on what to do. I mean,
- 55:55Speaker 1: you've been with this woman for ten years, and for
- 55:57Speaker 1: you it's getting worse. You know those bags, as you
- 56:00Speaker 1: mentioned that you started packing. I say, finished packing those
- 56:04Speaker 1: bags so you can leave and this is over pretty much.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I mean, she doesn't want to get married. She doesn't
- 56:09Speaker 1: talk about it anymore, she doesn't want to go to counseling.
- 56:11Speaker 1: She yelled at you all the time. She has no accountability,
- 56:14Speaker 1: you say, and she doesn't give you props on your
- 56:17Speaker 1: sex anymore. So why after ten years are you still
- 56:21Speaker 1: with her taking this abuse if you're so unhappy and
- 56:24Speaker 1: it's not working and nothing's working. Listen, if it's the
- 56:28Speaker 1: house you guys have together, you can sell that and
- 56:31Speaker 1: split the money. This woman is giving you absolutely no
- 56:34Speaker 1: reason to stay with her. You're not married, so that
- 56:38Speaker 1: should be fairly easy to walk away if that's what
- 56:41Speaker 1: you want to do. Because you're miserable so much so
- 56:44Speaker 1: that you've thought about swinging on her, meaning hitting her.
- 56:49Speaker 1: You know that's not cool. So right now, I think
- 56:52Speaker 1: the best thing you can do is to bout gracefully
- 56:54Speaker 1: before things get any worse. Ten years, you know that's enough. Furthermore,
- 56:59Speaker 1: she's not even pretending she's happy with you, so just
- 57:03Speaker 1: be out, be out, Steve. You know Shirley's correct. This
- 57:12Speaker 1: whole thing is doomed. But I'm gonna show you something, sir.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I just want you to help me, help you you
- 57:21Speaker 1: forty eight forty five is she my queen or a narcissist?
- 57:26Speaker 1: When I first met her, I fell in love quickly,
- 57:28Speaker 1: and you thought she loved you. Now listen to this.
- 57:31Speaker 1: She said all the right things, like she wants to
- 57:34Speaker 1: spend the rest of her life with me, and buy
- 57:37Speaker 1: house with me and so on. We've always talked about marriage,
- 57:43Speaker 1: but as time went on she changed. Well, let's talk
- 57:47Speaker 1: about the change. I think she did exactly what she
- 57:51Speaker 1: said she was gonna do. She said she wanted to
- 57:55Speaker 1: spend the rest of your life with you. Y'all been
- 57:57Speaker 1: together ten years. She ain't talking about lee even y'all
- 58:01Speaker 1: talked about buying a house together. Bam, y'all did it.
- 58:07Speaker 1: So she's still there and she bought the house. We've
- 58:12Speaker 1: always talked about marriage, but it's time went on, she changed. Well,
- 58:17Speaker 1: seemed to me, lucky for you, according to this letter,
- 58:23Speaker 1: she changed. Now I'm going to be thinking, man, this
- 58:25Speaker 1: is your blessing dog. After I got to read this letter.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Now we don't talk about marriage anymore. But we did
- 58:33Speaker 1: buy a house. That's what y'all said. Joa was on
- 58:35Speaker 1: the things went crazy after that, and and now I
- 58:38Speaker 1: don't know if I'm living with my queen or narcissist.
- 58:41Speaker 1: She criticizes everything I do, and she blames me for
- 58:46Speaker 1: everything to go wrong in the house. You can't write
- 58:49Speaker 1: me for the make me stay in response because first
- 58:55Speaker 1: one to get out ten years time. Go, let's get up?
- 59:02Speaker 1: Did you whistle? Yep? That's my range, that's cut off
- 59:05Speaker 1: for me. Not and don't need to do it this
- 59:08Speaker 1: double digit let's go get out all so we go.
- 59:14Speaker 1: She yells at me all the time, even in front
- 59:16Speaker 1: of company. See, I'm, I'm, I can't take that. I
- 59:23Speaker 1: can't do that. Dog. She doesn't like to be questioned
- 59:26Speaker 1: about anything, and she doesn't have accountability for her faults.
- 59:30Speaker 1: And more importantly, she never gives me props on sex anymore.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Now I didn't understand that line. You mean she don't
- 59:36Speaker 1: give you props? Well, maybe it ain't good no more.
- 59:41Speaker 1: And it might not be good because you don't like
- 59:43Speaker 1: who you having to do it too. The reason she
- 59:46Speaker 1: don't give you props to the more because the feeling
- 59:48Speaker 1: ain't to say, because you probably don't feel the same
- 59:50Speaker 1: about it. Dog, she bossing your round? How to let
- 59:54Speaker 1: your cussin at you in front of people? Hold on,
- 59:57Speaker 1: hold on what you want tonight to be about she
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: wants to swing on her too. All right, I want
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: to knock you out now. I'll give it to you,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: but you ain't gonna like it. All right, listen, we'll
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: be back with part two of Steve's response to twenty
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, today's Strawberry Letters subject is
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: she my queen or a narcissist? We'll get back into
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject? Is
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: she my queen or a narcissist? Well, this letter right here,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: like Shirley said, this marriage is doomed. That's not even
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: a marriage though, this relationship is doomed. She's forty eight,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: she's forty five metris woman. They talked about spending the
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: rest of their life together, buying a house together, and marriage. Well,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: they've spending their life together. It's been ten years. They
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: bought the house together. But she's changed. She's not talking
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: about the marriage anymore. And it seems to be a
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: blessing for you, sir. Okay thinks she criticizes everything you do.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: She blames you for everything that goes wrong in the house.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: She yells in me every time, all the time, even
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: in front of company. I'm not fit to take that,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: and no woman should either. She doesn't like to be
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: questioned about anything, and she don't take accountability for her faults.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: And more importantly, she never gives me props on sex anymore.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I was confused about that before the break. She don't
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: give you credit, she don't thank you, she don't give
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: you ups, she don't praise your efforts no more. And
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it could because it's not the same anymore. She cutsing
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: at you in front of everybody, talking to you like
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you're a little boy in front of people and stuff.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: You know, And you said later on in the letter
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: you thinking about swinging on it. It's harder had good
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: sex after that, really it really is. So I don't
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: think you should get that anymore. She tries to control everything,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: and I'm trying to remain respectful no matter how she
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: treats me. Here's a good one right here. I find
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: myself always apologizing just to keep the peace. That ain't
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: gonna change, dog, you might well gonna get you said
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: that one right there. That's that's how you have a
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: happy hands marriage. You apologize for stuff. Just to keep
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: the peace. You apologize for stuff, just to keep the peace.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Every man that's marriage, that's listening to this show knows
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: what that line means. It comes with it. All you
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: want is peace, So that we're right there. You can
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: can take that off the list of stuff to complain about,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: because that's going on forever. I've started packing my belonging
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: so i can leave. And I'm not married to this woman,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: but I loved us together and hoping and praying that
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: we can work things out. Hold on, bro, I started
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: packing my belonging so I can lead. I'm not married
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: to this woman, but I loved us together and hoping
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: and praying that we can work things out. Now, praying
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: and packing. That's a tough combination, y'all. You pray and
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: that y'all stay together, but you steady packing. Praying and
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: packing ain't a good commentation. I don't really believe you praying, dog,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I really don't, because you pack it. You see what
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I'm saying. You come on, nah, you can't. That ain't highway. Okay,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: let's just move on. Just wanted that when to sink
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: into you, uh uh. And then I asked her to
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: go to counseling, and she said that wasn't a very
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: manly thing to ask some woman to do. So now
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: counseling is for sissies. Yeah, I mean, dog, she just
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: doing you every check that she gets. Joe punk Ass
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: in here asking me to go to counseling for pull
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: kind of little poop pup punking, little rudy poop message
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: this you're talking about that girl, This little punk ass
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: is gonna ask me to go to counselor Robert, get
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: him come on through some things. His little since ass
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: gonna come in here talking about can't we go to
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: counsel What man want to go to councilor? Bro This
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: is due. My purpose in life was to meet this
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: woman's every need. But now I want to swing on
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: her and that's not a comfortable place. Well, you know, ladies,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: let me help y'all other stacks. Your husband has wanted
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: to knock your ass out, he just didn't. I just
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: want to tell both y'all, Sharley and Corner, I want
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: to break some news to you, Tash nest Stone. But
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: let me tell you something I've asked God, and just
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: give me just a moment of joy. I just want
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: y'all to know that, Oh yeah, y'all's mouth. Y'all talk
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: to you damn much, and then you talk because you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: know ain't nothing gonna happen. So now it's come with
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: extra on it. So I just want you all to
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: know that's a normal thought in a man's mind. I'm
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: thinking with the fingers, yea all that because see, we
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: gotta wait, we could shut that down now. It's sad
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: thing is some men act on that regrettably and was
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: not raised the right way to never put your hand
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: on a woman. Too many people born that way. That's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: a coward ass way to go women. That's not the
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: way to do it. But I told my daughters, don't
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: put your hands on a man now because he's cass
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: ain't raised like your daddy. My mama tous always tell
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: me that. I understand that right there, But I do
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: want it to say, brother, that feeling wanted to put
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: you swing on it. That's a comment. And it happens
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: in all of our man surely, and callers including whatever
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: and yesterday and yeah see d and the check us out.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: In the last dish effort to please I got a
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: chef at the massuits on Valentine's Day. She said the
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: food was salted and the girl didn't massage her deeply enough.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Oh now it's the massouth's fault that she couldn't dig
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: deep enough to all. Where did get all that hatred
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: out of her ass? So now she don't know how
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: to dig? Man, skip paupu, Walk out, dog, pack your bags,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: walk out. Let her have a house. Don't ask for nothing.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: If she wants you to pay half of the house, note,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: put it on the market, sell it, split the money.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: You're not married. Walk out, dog. That's all right, Thank you.

- 1:07:15Speaker 1: not plan it. But they had a little boy or
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: a little girl. They had one of you? Is that
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: the new thing? Well, you know now you're not. You
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: don't have to put the gender of the baby on
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: the birth city right now. If it turned out to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: be a little something else, we'll work with that laid on.

- 1:12:31Speaker 1: can't believe this. Right here. He saw me in that
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: splashing round. I had the mask on and everything. I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: looked up with my little mask on and he was

- 1:13:07Speaker 1: but this one hell not. The play could load him
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Jesus about fifteen minutes. Then he got up and flushed
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: and walked out. I just got out the tub and

- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I'd be looking dead at home. Mind, be trying to
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: sinkle put on the golf course, practice in my swing
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: and stuff bowling, you know in your mind. Oh, I'll
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: be singing every winning five songs. Yeah, all right, here
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: we go. Would you rather start at scarface or Bumpy
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Johnson in a remake? I got to be a Bumpy
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Johnson cause my Cuban accident ain't working for damn y'all
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: ain't gonna believe me at all. So you say you so,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you say you want something, You got a problem with me.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Let me tell you something I never ever in my life,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I never opened That's right, right, I tell you. Let
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: me tell you something. I tell you something. I tell
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: you something. Listen, listen, Manny, you think I'm not gonna
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: shoot you, you piece of sugar honey iced tea. You
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: think I'm not gonna shoot you, you pizza shot honey?
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Acting a bad see that high up there. I never
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: liked him. I never liked him. You can't do it
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: with our cousin. Really, you really can't do Alportino without cousin.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: That was good to me. That was good. All right?
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Would you rather play against Lebron Lebron James or would
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: you rather run against shakery? Richardson Shakari richardson wine. I'm
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: gonna go see fine, I'm not a real runing up. No,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna play against Lebron James. I can take that
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: ass whipping. And I'm not gonna let this girl just
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: smoke my ass like I'm talking about smoke. I'm talking
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: about man putting my ass. I look like Tommy raising Dion.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: But we're gonna party afterwards, going all right, thanks guys.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: That's today's edition of Would You Rather? Coming up at
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour, our last break of
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: the day and closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, guys, it is that time for
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: the last break of the day. It's been a good Friday. Friday.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: It's always good. We love our Fridays. Yeah, wishing everyone
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: a great weekend. February is going by fast like history months. Yeah,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: what's happening, Yeah, it's just March Tuesday. It Happy New Year, right,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. But you got Happy New Year
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: to me the other day and kiss me off. No good,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: you have a cut offline. Yeah. You know, hey, bro,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: happy new Year. It's about to be spring break, didn't
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: mary bullet starting to come on trees and right in
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: front yard? Yeah all right, let me go. Hey. You
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: know what I was thinking. This is sort of a
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: different type of thing. I was trying to think of
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: some things that I hate to have to do, and
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I don't like using a negative to produce a positive result.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Like my eating program that I'm on. I decided instead
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: of allowing them to tell me, you can't eat this,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: you can't have posta, you can't have starch a certain
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: time of the day. You can't eat sugar, you can't
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: have cake, you can't have any cookies, you can't have
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: coke zero, you can't have you can't drink yeah, you
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: can't have anything with white flour in it. You can't, can't, can't.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: But I'm trying to stay in shape, but I'm using
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: a negative to achieve a positive result. So I change it.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: And what really helped me was the way I started
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: eating a lot better was I had my nutritionist and
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: everybody make a list of every food or every dish
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: I could eat, and I had them type it up
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: and it's three four pages. You know, if you think
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: about everything you can eat, and so then all I
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: have to do is decide, well, I want to eat
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: this today. That'll be my lunch today, and they gotta
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: go buy it or make it or whatever. If I'm traveling, whatever,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: it's what I want to have lunch today. And it
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: started allowing me to have positive input and to get
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: a positive result. It's hard to lose weighting. Somebody keep
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: telling you what you can't eat. You can't eat this,
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: you can't eat that. So I just change it and
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: just had to make me a full list of everything
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I can eat. You can't have ice cream on the weekend,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: and you can have it before two o'clock in the afternoon. Okay, cool,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: I can do that. Now I can live and the
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: weights coming off a little slow, but you know, it's working.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: So I would hate to have to try to live
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: without a relationship with God. That would be daunting for me. Man,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be honest with you all. And you know,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: people get tired of spiritual people or what they call
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: religious people trying to jam their religion down their throw.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I'm not that guy. I'm not that guy. I'm just
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: talking to those people that's on the fence or looking
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: for answers or might be open to trying something. That's
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: who I am. I'm not the guy that's gonna talk
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: an atheists out of being an atheist. You want to
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: be an atheist? Man? That do you? We nothing had
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: this conversation because I don't have the time, nor do
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I have the patience. But I would hate to try
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: to become successful without God as a partner. That's been
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: one of the major parts of my success is having
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: God as a partner. I would hate to because I've
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: done it now. I've been on this journey to become
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: successful without him because I was just trying to do
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: it my way, wasn't talking to him confiding in all
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: of that. I'd hate to try to. I'd hate to
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: try to stay healthy or get healthy without prayer. I'm
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: what you're breaking yours whole partner, because suppose you get
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: into situation the doctors say, I have nothing for you.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: You need to know him. You need to know him,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: and it would be even helpful if you knew him
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: before it got to that point. I'm just talking about
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: some things I would hate to have to do. I
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: would hate to have to decide between the relationship with
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: a group of people and a relationship with God. Have
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: you ever been in that position? Like this certain group
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: of people, you don't really talk about God, but if
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you want to hang out with them, we need to
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: stop all that Bible and all that God talk. We're
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: gonna We're gonna be cool. We're gonna do it this
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: way right here. That tough decision to make deuces, I'm
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: just gonna I'm gonna pass on y'all that I would
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: hate to him. I would hate to live or date
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: someone that didn't believe that God was real. That's all
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you in for a rough existence. Folks. If you meet
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: a person and you are a believer and they tell
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: you they're not, just walk away. What are you doing?
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: You your two opposites. You're negative in a positive if
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: it ain't gonna work. I would hate to live or
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: date somebody that would that didn't think that God was real.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I would hate to try to make it without him,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I really would. I would just simply hate that. I
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: can't imagine what my life would be without my relationship
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: with God because I've been in too many holes and
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: he was the only one that got me out. I'm
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: just being real with you. You know my story about
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: homelessness and divorcing, losing everything twice, being counseled and turned
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: about and written off and said you ain't gonna be nothing,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: and told you'll never be on TV. I needed to
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: climb out of some holes man, and the only person,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: the only thing that got me out of that hole
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: was by the grace of God. I'm so grateful. I
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: acknowledge that. I strongly suggest that you have a formal
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: relationship with him. So when you get in them holes, man,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: you got a party. That's my clothes, remarked today. I'd
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: hate to try without it. And if you're doing it,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: you don't have to have a great day. Matter of fact,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: have a great weekend. See your Monday. God with it
