- 0:16Speaker 1: bucks things in the stood. Steve to the mother, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join join me. You gotta use that turn going.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn, You got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby now, ah, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Yeah, man boy, God has been good to me. Man,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can't really count at all. You can't either, You know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: God has done for you if you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 1: little thing. It's unbelievable. The things He's done for us.
- 2:31Speaker 1: How many times you know, we got through something without
- 2:34Speaker 1: even talking to him about it. He just he just
- 2:36Speaker 1: blessed us with it. How many you know? It's just
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's so much that the fact that you wake up
- 2:42Speaker 1: in the morning, the fact that you still have a
- 2:44Speaker 1: place to stay, the fact that you know may be
- 2:47Speaker 1: struggling out here, but guess what, you're still going to work.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You you know, you live in check the check, but
- 2:52Speaker 1: you're making it all. You got all the plates spinning.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You know, it's hard. You got a lot of plates spinning,
- 2:57Speaker 1: but you keep him up there somewhere. Every now I
- 2:59Speaker 1: near one break, but put two more back up there
- 3:01Speaker 1: to look a little bit better. And you got to
- 3:02Speaker 1: get to spending them so it all works. And then
- 3:06Speaker 1: you got a lot of people who just can't seem
- 3:09Speaker 1: to mentally put it together as to you know, why
- 3:15Speaker 1: their life isn't in a position that they wanted to be.
- 3:18Speaker 1: We talked about this oftentimes, but I don't want to
- 3:20Speaker 1: try another angle with you to day. You know, maybe
- 3:24Speaker 1: it's you. Have you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Maybe it's no external force that's at fault, like you
- 3:34Speaker 1: keep making the excuse to be You know, so many
- 3:38Speaker 1: people I hear, well, if this hadn't have done this,
- 3:40Speaker 1: if he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have
- 3:43Speaker 1: done that, I would have been further along. I wasted
- 3:46Speaker 1: all my time, my years with this man, and he
- 3:49Speaker 1: did this, and I could have been here, and I
- 3:52Speaker 1: could have been there, and this woman she did this
- 3:54Speaker 1: to me. If she hadn't have done that, I could
- 3:57Speaker 1: have been here and I could have been there. Maybe
- 4:00Speaker 1: it's you. Maybe it's not really that external force that
- 4:05Speaker 1: you keep making it out to be. See, I've done
- 4:09Speaker 1: this to myself before. Once again, I'm talking to you
- 4:13Speaker 1: about something I know about. I've done this to myself before.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I've had the reason I wasn't where I wanted to be.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I had it figured out as some external force. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: had worked it out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me,
- 4:32Speaker 1: because if so and so, or if this hadn't happened,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and if they hadn't have done this, I would have
- 4:37Speaker 1: been further along up the road. That's what I was saying.
- 4:41Speaker 1: But WOLDO hold on it or learned a valuable lesson? Man, See,
- 4:47Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:52Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:15Speaker 1: outside and try that. Try to drive your car, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:21Speaker 1: at is where you're being All you looking at in
- 5:25Speaker 1: that rearview mirrors where you're passed or should have passed,
- 5:28Speaker 1: something you should have moved on from. All you're doing
- 5:32Speaker 1: is looking in that rearview mirror at what happened back there.
- 5:36Speaker 1: If you don't stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're
- 5:40Speaker 1: gonna crash your car over and over and over again.
- 5:45Speaker 1: All you got to slow it down so bad in
- 5:49Speaker 1: order for you to keep looking in that rearview mirror.
- 5:54Speaker 1: If you don't learn to let it go, it's gonna
- 5:58Speaker 1: be hard for you to go forward because you keep
- 6:03Speaker 1: reviewing the past. The past is the past, and I
- 6:08Speaker 1: know it's hard. Man. I watched a show and this
- 6:10Speaker 1: lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive them for that,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or guess what, Guess what God may have already forgiven
- 6:19Speaker 1: that person. That person may be extremely remorseful, could have
- 6:24Speaker 1: gone to God and God and forgiveness for it years ago.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But you you sit here and you keep hanging on
- 6:32Speaker 1: to the back. I can't ever forgive that. Then I
- 6:36Speaker 1: heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one time and
- 6:39Speaker 1: say something that really really struggle. You keep drinking the poison,
- 6:44Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. He said that. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: just shook my head and went, wow, you drinking the poison.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is poor to you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You know, if hatred is poison to you. Unforgivingness, when
- 7:09Speaker 1: you won't forgive a person, that person could be going
- 7:13Speaker 1: on with their life made the right with God. Don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: know how you're feeling. They're skipping through life now. You
- 7:19Speaker 1: make adjustments every time you see them. And it takes energy. Man,
- 7:23Speaker 1: it takes so much energy to hate. It takes so
- 7:26Speaker 1: much energy not to forgive too. That ain't come in
- 7:30Speaker 1: the room. You got to avoid them. Stay over here,
- 7:33Speaker 1: Oh here they come. Now you got to make a
- 7:35Speaker 1: situation over here. They come into the house. It's family reunion.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Oh here they come. And where they're gonna be in
- 7:40Speaker 1: the basement. I'm going up on the third floor. I
- 7:43Speaker 1: want to go ahead and get some barbecue. She out
- 7:44Speaker 1: there at the barbecue, staying, Oh lord, I don't want
- 7:46Speaker 1: a barbecue. I just eat to take the sale. People man,
- 7:49Speaker 1: take themselves all out of position, trying to make adjustments,
- 7:53Speaker 1: when if you it would simplify your life, if you
- 7:58Speaker 1: would let just let it go. Maybe you ain't where
- 8:01Speaker 1: you need to be because of them, external forces altogether.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Maybe you're not where you need to be cause of you,
- 8:09Speaker 1: because you won't let it go, you won't move forward.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Look at this, ladies. Let's say you've been in a
- 8:15Speaker 1: situation with a man for years. It didn't work out
- 8:20Speaker 1: for whatever the reason, it just didn't work out. I got,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I got what you said he did. I got what
- 8:25Speaker 1: he did, I got all of that, YadA, YadA YadA.
- 8:29Speaker 1: When you get through, did not God get you through it?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Did not he allow you to survive it? I got you,
- 8:40Speaker 1: got some cuts on you, I got you been a
- 8:43Speaker 1: little bit bruised. But did he not get you through it? So,
- 8:48Speaker 1: now that he's freed you from it, now he didn't
- 8:50Speaker 1: went on. He got a whole other family over that somewhere.
- 8:53Speaker 1: He now he trying to make it right because maybe
- 8:56Speaker 1: he learned the mistake he made and now he trying
- 8:58Speaker 1: to be a better man. He just trying to get
- 8:59Speaker 1: it right right now. But you're sitting there holding onto it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You're drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So now instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally
- 9:09Speaker 1: being free from a situation that was not healthy for you.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind
- 9:16Speaker 1: by hating, by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall
- 9:21Speaker 1: on his face. Maybe you're even doing something to the
- 9:25Speaker 1: other situation to make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're
- 9:28Speaker 1: drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe
- 9:32Speaker 1: you ain't where you ought to be in life, not
- 9:34Speaker 1: because of your external forces, but maybe it's you. If
- 9:39Speaker 1: you don't let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 9:42Speaker 1: you to go. You can't keep driving your car looking
- 9:47Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is
- 9:52Speaker 1: not for the other person. Forgiveness is for You're lady
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Welcome to the ride. This is the Steve
- 10:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Steve Harvey's got his full team with him.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Welcome to the ride. Y'all. Good morning, Shirt Strawberry, Good morning,
- 10:12Speaker 1: Happy Friday, Steve Harvey. Call hey, Steve Harvey, what's up? Crew?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Kiss Bates morning? Everybody? Morning? Uh? J Anthony Brown? What's up? Steve?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Holly Thomas Miles, Thank you, sir, Kid things at all?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Please explain Jay's look today for our love. Jay decided
- 10:46Speaker 1: to come to work on a swiffer whipp has seen
- 10:53Speaker 1: that commercial he has a visor on. It's not a visor.
- 11:02Speaker 1: It's my hair behind his hands, twisted long, twist, very
- 11:11Speaker 1: age and appropriate, very much, and his hair look old
- 11:19Speaker 1: and it's twisted. That's like when I see real old
- 11:23Speaker 1: lass people with dregs. You mean, like Snoopy, everybody, why
- 11:32Speaker 1: everybody ain't nobody got to say something wrong? He brought
- 11:40Speaker 1: it up and I said, like, like Snoopy. I didn't
- 11:43Speaker 1: say that because I don't want to be on his
- 11:45Speaker 1: social media. I don't know either. But you said old
- 11:48Speaker 1: people with dreds and dredge stuff behind the head. That said,
- 11:51Speaker 1: like Snoop that you keep saying it too, You keep
- 11:55Speaker 1: saying it. I never noticed that, Steve. I love it.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Now you're out there about yourself, James, you know myself.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So I wish I would another ding. Congratulations to the
- 12:21Speaker 1: protesters that are keeping the peaceful. Congratulations to the protesters
- 12:26Speaker 1: who have participated in what seems to be a change.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I've never seen these many officers get arrested. Congratulations, I've
- 12:34Speaker 1: never seen these many perpetrators of crimes against black people
- 12:37Speaker 1: get perpetrated. The heel Billy's down in Brunswick, Georgia. And
- 12:43Speaker 1: the third one. Now, yeah, he's unders and I've been
- 12:47Speaker 1: reading the story that's coming out. I mean, man, I'm
- 12:49Speaker 1: just yeah, it does feel different and looking different now, Steve. Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I drive by Perimeter Mall every day because I go
- 13:04Speaker 1: for a drive right in Atlanta. I'm gonna stop and
- 13:08Speaker 1: take a picture with this guy. This one white guy
- 13:11Speaker 1: standing on the medium in the middle of the road,
- 13:14Speaker 1: and he's got to sign up to says black lives
- 13:18Speaker 1: Do matter, and I blow my horn at him every day.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop. If he's tomorrow, I'm taking a picture
- 13:24Speaker 1: with that man and posted it. Would you be driving,
- 13:26Speaker 1: Steve when you blow the horn? Okay? Standing with us?
- 13:32Speaker 1: Coming up thirty two minutes after the hour. The first
- 13:36Speaker 1: of several memorials to George Floyd happened yesterday, and we'll
- 13:41Speaker 1: talk about that right after this. You're listening, well. Yesterday
- 13:48Speaker 1: was the first of four services to honor George Floyd.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Floyd's family remember George as a magnetic presence regardless of
- 13:55Speaker 1: who surrounded him, and a loving, kind man. His family
- 13:59Speaker 1: said that George always would embrace people, and the family
- 14:02Speaker 1: went on to say that George Floyd was a Huggy,
- 14:05Speaker 1: was a huge, was a huge huge Lebron James Fan.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Several celebrities, plus local and national community leaders attended the
- 14:15Speaker 1: service to pay their respects, including Ti and his wife
- 14:18Speaker 1: Tamika Tiny, Ludicrous, Kevin Hurt, Will Packard, Tyrese Marseilles, Martin,
- 14:26Speaker 1: Tiffany Hattish attorney Benjamin Crump and Reverend Al Sharpton both
- 14:32Speaker 1: gave inspiring remarks. Take a listen to Reverend Al Sharpton's eulogy.
- 14:36Speaker 1: George Freyd's story has been the story of black folks
- 14:42Speaker 1: because ever since four hundred and one years ago, the
- 14:47Speaker 1: reason we could never be who we wanted and dreamed
- 14:52Speaker 1: to be in is you kept your knee on our neck.
- 14:56Speaker 1: It's time for us to stand up and charges and
- 15:00Speaker 1: say get your knee off our next. We don't have
- 15:05Speaker 1: a problem denouncing violence, mister governor. We don't have a problem,
- 15:10Speaker 1: mister mayor, denouncing Luton. But it seems like Summon the
- 15:14Speaker 1: criminal justice system have a problem looking at a tape
- 15:18Speaker 1: and knowing there's probable cause, and it takes a long
- 15:22Speaker 1: time for you to go and do what you see
- 15:26Speaker 1: that you need to do. Ye, come on, and he
- 15:31Speaker 1: went back to the old al. Yeah, yeah, we al
- 15:37Speaker 1: that's where he went back to the Medallia and he
- 15:40Speaker 1: mentioned the mayor. The mayor was there, the governor there,
- 15:44Speaker 1: Amy Klobasher was there. Yeah, a lot of a lot
- 15:48Speaker 1: of people. People are yeah, reach man. Yes, he knew
- 15:56Speaker 1: how to have home. Look, getting getting the four officers
- 16:02Speaker 1: took some time. But I want to I think, what
- 16:06Speaker 1: was happening here which doesn't happen in our case. Please
- 16:09Speaker 1: know that I think what's happening here? I think And
- 16:13Speaker 1: even if they bought the charges, when they bought the
- 16:15Speaker 1: charges against the other three, they then upped the charges
- 16:21Speaker 1: against him because I was interviewing Crump earlier today on
- 16:26Speaker 1: a show that I was taping. He said that third
- 16:29Speaker 1: degree manslaughter, I mean, yet, third degree murder can get you.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Third degree murder can get you up to twenty years
- 16:41Speaker 1: in prison or five years probation. That's why they were
- 16:47Speaker 1: fighting so hard to get to second degree murder, because
- 16:52Speaker 1: no matter what happens in second degree murder, when you
- 16:54Speaker 1: get convicted, you gotta go do time. And so that happened,
- 16:59Speaker 1: and then the other officers were bought in for abating,
- 17:05Speaker 1: abating and aiding and a bedding because they ate it.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And so he explained on this show I was doing
- 17:14Speaker 1: how the pressure on the man's lungs from the weight
- 17:17Speaker 1: of the other officers was crushing his wind pipe. And
- 17:21Speaker 1: then he bought all the material with the autops and everything.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I think there's a very very strong case here, and
- 17:28Speaker 1: I would I would be stunned, and I think it's so.
- 17:34Speaker 1: But we've we've seen cut and drive before. But I
- 17:38Speaker 1: don't think they can come back with an innocent verdict
- 17:42Speaker 1: because the white peer pressure in the white community is
- 17:46Speaker 1: a little bit turned up now. Because when you have
- 17:50Speaker 1: little white kids coming home from the protest, Look, mommy,
- 17:52Speaker 1: they shot me in my stomach with a rubber bullet
- 17:55Speaker 1: that's never been had before. They're having these conversations because
- 17:59Speaker 1: they pushing white girls down protested. They knocking white dudes
- 18:05Speaker 1: over garbage cans. Now they got noted for the first time.
- 18:08Speaker 1: They're seeing this and they're gonna wait a minute. I
- 18:10Speaker 1: had my hands up, My hands were up. This guy
- 18:13Speaker 1: kept turning the place. Why'd you push me? My hands
- 18:16Speaker 1: were up because they don't give it. Damn we didn't
- 18:20Speaker 1: had our hands up and got our brains splattered across
- 18:22Speaker 1: the sidewalk. So that is different now. And I don't
- 18:27Speaker 1: think that they'll be able to bring back nothing but
- 18:30Speaker 1: a guilty plea, because if they know, if they bring
- 18:32Speaker 1: back an innocent plea, all these cities going back up
- 18:35Speaker 1: in fire again. Reverend al told the story about this
- 18:39Speaker 1: um little girl who tugged on his jacket, cut his
- 18:42Speaker 1: suit jacket a little. He turned around. It was a
- 18:45Speaker 1: little white girl. He says, she couldn't have been more
- 18:47Speaker 1: than about eleven years old. And he turned around and
- 18:50Speaker 1: he looked, and she held up her fist and said,
- 18:52Speaker 1: black lives matter. Yes, that does, little girl, Yes, eleven
- 18:57Speaker 1: years old. See, he says, she couldn't have been more
- 18:59Speaker 1: than that. So you know, I mean, and that's where
- 19:02Speaker 1: this stuff has to be taught. It has to be
- 19:04Speaker 1: taught in the home, you know, Yeah, anti racism, it
- 19:08Speaker 1: has to start there. The next memorial service will be
- 19:13Speaker 1: tomorrow in North Carolina, where George Floyd was born, and
- 19:17Speaker 1: then finally on Monday, there will be a service and
- 19:19Speaker 1: a public viewing in Houston, where Floyd grew up, and
- 19:23Speaker 1: then a private service on Tuesday, and that will be
- 19:27Speaker 1: the end of I have a question, I know, I mean,
- 19:31Speaker 1: we're all glad that white people are participating. I mean,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I know, I am, But the question still remains, what
- 19:37Speaker 1: took them so long to get involved? What took so long?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Why did it take this long? Why did it take
- 19:45Speaker 1: this one? Hey man, do you know what I think
- 19:47Speaker 1: it is? I have a theory. J I think it
- 19:50Speaker 1: was COVID nineteen. I think instead of the world going
- 19:54Speaker 1: about their business, they're going on spring break, they had
- 19:57Speaker 1: summer vacation. They are at work, they do in a
- 20:00Speaker 1: happy hour. COVID nineteen had everybody in quarantine. Everybody's looking
- 20:07Speaker 1: for something to see and guess what. This became brand
- 20:10Speaker 1: new news and for the first time, without the distractions
- 20:14Speaker 1: of the world the way it's normally run, they were
- 20:17Speaker 1: forced to sit here and look at it and go what.
- 20:20Speaker 1: And then they all were sick of quarantine, so they
- 20:24Speaker 1: wanted to get out. So what became the thing to
- 20:26Speaker 1: get out and go do? Let's go out and protest
- 20:30Speaker 1: here here we can't go to the movie, we can't
- 20:34Speaker 1: go eat. Let's go protest and right and you know what,
- 20:39Speaker 1: the watch saw us stayed open. You can't coming up
- 20:47Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, coming up next,
- 20:50Speaker 1: Nephew Tommies run that prank back right after this. You're listening,
- 20:57Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, miss Anne,
- 21:00Speaker 1: Today's trending national news and then an entertainment news. Kanye
- 21:04Speaker 1: West as donated to the Floyd family. Right now, nephew
- 21:07Speaker 1: in the building would run that prank back. What you
- 21:10Speaker 1: got for his neph parasite. Say that comes a time
- 21:23Speaker 1: where there's some things that end in your body that
- 21:25Speaker 1: you need to have removed. And that's where we are today.
- 21:28Speaker 1: You have parasites in one of your testicles. Let's go cat. Hello, Hello,
- 21:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Brian. Brian. Yeah, yeah, see
- 21:40Speaker 1: hey Brian, this is doctor Jacob. Are you doing today, Yeah, yeah,
- 21:44Speaker 1: I'm doing I'm doing good. Okay, listen. You actually came in,
- 21:48Speaker 1: uh maybe like two and a half weeks ago here
- 21:50Speaker 1: to my office and got a physical for for Life insurance.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, right right, yeah, everything okay, well yeah, yeah,
- 21:57Speaker 1: everything's gonna be pretty good. I'd like to see if
- 21:59Speaker 1: I can you to come in and I you know,
- 22:03Speaker 1: everything's gonna be fine, but I got a small procedure
- 22:05Speaker 1: we'd like to do to actually uh you know, right now,
- 22:08Speaker 1: you're not a proof for your life insurance to do
- 22:10Speaker 1: until this procedure has done. So if you don't mind
- 22:13Speaker 1: coming in, we we'd like to get you Jake and Carol.
- 22:16Speaker 1: When can I schedule you to come in, like maybe
- 22:18Speaker 1: tomorrow or the following day? Yeah? What what kind of
- 22:21Speaker 1: procedure is? Well? Actually, I don't know if you've heard
- 22:23Speaker 1: of it. This is an okayosh for me. Now I
- 22:26Speaker 1: got something that's gonna do my eyes. What's that? So
- 22:30Speaker 1: it's got some dude? You wasn't that I'm doing my eyes?
- 22:33Speaker 1: I ain't heard. What's what's that? No? No, ochayost for
- 22:35Speaker 1: me has nothing to do with the eyes, No, nothing
- 22:38Speaker 1: at all. We found a little bit of parasites in
- 22:41Speaker 1: a particular area, and what we want to do is
- 22:43Speaker 1: make sure we just remove it completely and you'll be fine.
- 22:47Speaker 1: You'll get your life insurance here and your family will
- 22:49Speaker 1: be great. So can I get you to come in tomorrow?
- 22:51Speaker 1: Maybe Thursday afternoon? And fine? What? What? What the area
- 22:55Speaker 1: I found the parasite? Then? Actually one of your testicles
- 22:58Speaker 1: has some parasites. So what we're gonna do is what's
- 23:01Speaker 1: called a okayoshtromy and okayoshtrimy is actually removing that testicle
- 23:06Speaker 1: completely and then everything gonna be fine. It's all confined
- 23:10Speaker 1: and we'll be able to remove it. You'll be on
- 23:11Speaker 1: your way, you'll get your life insurance and everything will
- 23:13Speaker 1: be fine. Okay, Like I said, can I get can I?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Can I get you to come in tomorrow? What you
- 23:19Speaker 1: got my testicle? Well? Only one? Only one, and it's
- 23:23Speaker 1: not going to take long. It's a thirty minute procedure.
- 23:25Speaker 1: But we want to get you to come in tomorrow
- 23:27Speaker 1: or the next day and we get you to what
- 23:30Speaker 1: they are you available. I didn't want it for a routine.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I got to remove a test sir. You know what,
- 23:35Speaker 1: oftentimes when people come in for life insurance, these type
- 23:38Speaker 1: of things happen. So we want to get you in
- 23:40Speaker 1: and get it out as quickly as possible. And nah, man,
- 23:44Speaker 1: I'm wanting for a routine physical man. I wasn't supposed

- 23:50Speaker 1: a testicle. Man, I'm twenty five. Man, my wife wing,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I know kids, and they were trying to be like
- 23:55Speaker 1: I how to remove a testicle. Let me say this
- 23:57Speaker 1: to you, Brian, You're gonna be completely fine. You'll be
- 23:59Speaker 1: able to create children. You'll be in a little normal life.
- 24:02Speaker 1: You know, you'll just see, um, you won't have all
- 24:05Speaker 1: of them, but you'll have enough to create children. You
- 24:07Speaker 1: understand that. Nah Man, I can't Nah, I ain't gonna.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I can't come in for that, Na, sir. Is there
- 24:13Speaker 1: any way I can get you in the morrow or

- 24:33Speaker 1: need to see another doctor. Man, it's sir, Sir. You
- 24:36Speaker 1: can go around the entire city and see several doctors.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you you're just gonna be wasting time.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to knock this thing out for you,
- 24:44Speaker 1: knocking up. I ain't agree. I ain't agreeing nothing. Listen, man,
- 24:47Speaker 1: I have to join it to get money. Manten nothing, man,

- 25:05Speaker 1: ain't going in for none of that. Man, I'm suposing
- 25:07Speaker 1: to tell my wife. Man, this this ain't cool. Man,
- 25:09Speaker 1: I ain't going in for that. Man. I'm rescheduling it. Man,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you're scheduling. What do you mean you're rescheduling? Sir? What
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm getting another opinion? I ain't going in for this, okay,

- 25:24Speaker 1: You're doing a little play on words. Man. It ain't
- 25:26Speaker 1: even funny. Man, I'm calling insurance funny telling they gave
- 25:28Speaker 1: me doctor. But you think it's funny. Hey, it ain't funny, man.
- 25:32Speaker 1: You know you're making a little joke. Man, ain't funny, man,
- 25:34Speaker 1: I mean thinking opin Man, I'm forgetting all of the
- 25:37Speaker 1: work that we got, the blood work, the year and word,
- 25:39Speaker 1: the complete physical that's when we didn't realize that you
- 25:42Speaker 1: had parasites in a particular area. So what we're trying,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't even turning to make the light
- 25:47Speaker 1: of make humor in it, just to make you feel
- 25:49Speaker 1: a little bit more comfortable. I apologize, all right. That
- 25:52Speaker 1: ain't funny, man, you're losing. Man. Ain't funny. Man. If
- 25:56Speaker 1: I had a situation and nursing would have told me,

- 26:07Speaker 1: do have the parasites, and what we want to do
- 26:09Speaker 1: is make sure we're get them completely cleared out. The
- 26:12Speaker 1: only way I can clear that out is to remove
- 26:14Speaker 1: that testicles. Man, it's the man. I gotta hairsites. Man,
- 26:19Speaker 1: May y'all here running out these tests on me. Man,
- 26:21Speaker 1: I'm going to another doctor, man, because this man, I
- 26:24Speaker 1: ain't got no parasites. Man, All these tests y'all, some
- 26:26Speaker 1: of y'all remind me I gotta remove them. That's something
- 26:29Speaker 1: you over here. I know you doctor. Man. I ain't

- 26:38Speaker 1: I ain't got no parasites man, brun Let me make

- 26:46Speaker 1: my job to come to you and extract the problem.
- 26:49Speaker 1: You're leaning towards me having to come to your home
- 26:51Speaker 1: and extract the problem. Man, when you want to come
- 26:55Speaker 1: him home? How man? You why what you want to
- 26:58Speaker 1: step with the how natch up chest this man? You

- 27:09Speaker 1: and you only have twenty four hours for me to
- 27:11Speaker 1: get third. I have to move on this quickly. Brian. Okay, dude,
- 27:16Speaker 1: I'm not gonna tell you I ain't gonna shangar. I
- 27:23Speaker 1: ain't I gottait not something that's transmitted. It doesn't come
- 27:28Speaker 1: from another another human being. It just develops in one
- 27:32Speaker 1: out of every three or four million people. You actually
- 27:35Speaker 1: have it, Brian, I gotta extracted from you. You try
- 27:38Speaker 1: to tell me I'm gonna man, you know what I'm
- 27:41Speaker 1: coming like parasites. Mane, there's something else that you have
- 27:46Speaker 1: that I haven't told you about. There's something else I
- 27:48Speaker 1: need to tell you. I got it here. Somebody got passed.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I Brian, you just got plank. You just got planked
- 27:56Speaker 1: by nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey War to show
- 27:59Speaker 1: Joe life. Alka got me the point phone call you,
- 28:05Speaker 1: I man. Let everybody say all right, all right, saying
- 28:15Speaker 1: that all right. You don't need why y'all ain't with me?
- 28:19Speaker 1: You y'all sometimes you sometimes with parasites. You know, you
- 28:27Speaker 1: know you're twenty five. I know you you're young. But yeah,
- 28:31Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna have to We're gonna to remove
- 28:33Speaker 1: one of them. We're gonna have to remove one of
- 28:35Speaker 1: you gotta check both of them when you hit it.
- 28:37Speaker 1: You got have one. Well, he said he needed a
- 28:44Speaker 1: second opinion. Thank god. That's the way it goes. Go
- 28:49Speaker 1: to Thomas Miles dot com and click on the frank button.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Leave me all of the information of what you want
- 28:55Speaker 1: to do. I call you, we talk, and then I
- 28:59Speaker 1: called the person that you want me to prank. It's
- 29:01Speaker 1: that's simple. That's how it works now. Thomas Smiles dot com.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I will prank anybody in your life anyway. Next coming
- 29:10Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, entertainment and national news.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Stry Morning Show and
- 29:18Speaker 1: trending news from Georgia. The prosecution in the Ahmad Arbury
- 29:22Speaker 1: case made some distressing allegations during the hearing yesterday and Georgia.
- 29:27Speaker 1: A Georgia Bureau of the Investigations agent testified that William Brian,
- 29:32Speaker 1: the man who filmed the shooting, told him that Travis
- 29:35Speaker 1: McMichael had called mister Arbury the N word after after
- 29:40Speaker 1: killing him. Brian, Travis McMichael, and his father, Gregory McMichael
- 29:46Speaker 1: are all charged with murder. The prosecution also presented evidence
- 29:51Speaker 1: that before the shooting, the McMichaels chased mister Arbury in
- 29:55Speaker 1: their truck, trying to corner him and ultimately hitting him
- 29:59Speaker 1: hard enough to leave a dent. Lawyers for all three
- 30:03Speaker 1: defendants maintained their innocence, saying media accounts provide an incompetent narrative.
- 30:08Speaker 1: While a judge is ruled that there's enough evidence to
- 30:11Speaker 1: try all suspects with murder, you know what I hate
- 30:16Speaker 1: about defense attorneys sometimes when you know your client is
- 30:21Speaker 1: guilty and you still try to get them off, that's
- 30:26Speaker 1: like amazing to me. I know that's your job, but
- 30:30Speaker 1: that's a hell of a job to know a person
- 30:32Speaker 1: is guilty and do everything in your power to get
- 30:35Speaker 1: them off. I mean, look, man, at one point in time,
- 30:40Speaker 1: I would just be like, damn, my man, what I mean,
- 30:46Speaker 1: who surprised that they shot him and called him the
- 30:50Speaker 1: end word? That's why they shot him? Yeah, exactly exactly.
- 30:54Speaker 1: They was thinking it, That's why they shot him. So
- 30:59Speaker 1: that so when the d they released that information, I
- 31:01Speaker 1: wasn't surprise at all. Yeah, yeah, no, I wouldn't either.
- 31:06Speaker 1: It made sure he was dead first phone. He said
- 31:07Speaker 1: it though. Yeah they killed him. Wow, yeah again they
- 31:12Speaker 1: kill him and cold bloods senseless. But but but the
- 31:19Speaker 1: defense's job, truly is not to believe or whatever. If
- 31:23Speaker 1: you're guilty or innocence, they just have to do their
- 31:26Speaker 1: job to defend you. That's why I brought up Johnny Cochrane.
- 31:31Speaker 1: And it's up to the prosecution to the burden of
- 31:35Speaker 1: proof they have to prove. Yeah, they have the hardest
- 31:38Speaker 1: work to prove. And I guess that's what's going on
- 31:40Speaker 1: with the but but thus, thus is the flaw in
- 31:45Speaker 1: our system. I think I'm not an attorney, so I
- 31:49Speaker 1: don't know. I'm just saying. No, what you're saying is
- 31:51Speaker 1: absolutely correct. But that's the flaw in our system because
- 31:55Speaker 1: the burden of proof is different for people of color.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Oh yeah, see, it's a lot less people of color.
- 32:04Speaker 1: It's a lot. Ain't no burden to proof, just what
- 32:06Speaker 1: you say, Okay, lock him up, you lie, he did what,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I'll be damned. And guess why we know he did it.
- 32:16Speaker 1: It's because they do the background. It's it's crazy, man.
- 32:20Speaker 1: It's like you know, sometimes I watched forty eight Hours
- 32:22Speaker 1: and when they get a suspect, every police officer they
- 32:25Speaker 1: pulls up his record. They go, he has a previous
- 32:27Speaker 1: arrest record and they go, okay, cool, then he's capable
- 32:31Speaker 1: of doing this next crime, right yeah, se So once
- 32:37Speaker 1: you become black, they just assume, without the police record,
- 32:41Speaker 1: you're capable of this crime simply because of the color
- 32:45Speaker 1: of your Jesus man. Yeah, that's hard. Yeah. Well, here's
- 32:51Speaker 1: a little good news, guys. Kanye West has reportedly set
- 32:55Speaker 1: up a college fund for George Floyd's daughter, Gianna and
- 32:59Speaker 1: donated two million dollars to the families and legal teams
- 33:02Speaker 1: of a mont Aubrey, Brianna Taylor, and George Floyd. That's cool. Yeah,
- 33:09Speaker 1: that's real cool. Me Kanye I bet Kim had a
- 33:12Speaker 1: lot to do with that too, because she's so big
- 33:14Speaker 1: on prison reform and all of that. Um and Steve.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Now it's time for headlines. Let's go, ladies and gentlemen.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Miss Anne Trimp, thank you very much, everybody. This is
- 33:23Speaker 1: a trip and here is the news. A memorial service
- 33:26Speaker 1: was held in Minneapolis yesterday for forty six year old
- 33:29Speaker 1: George Floyd. Hundreds of mortars attended that included family, friends, politicians,
- 33:34Speaker 1: and celebrities. The service was held in a chapel at
- 33:37Speaker 1: a local university, and the Reverend Al Sharpton gave the eulogy.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Get your rest, George. You changed the way out, George.
- 33:44Speaker 1: We're gonna keep marching George. We're gonna keep fighting George.
- 33:49Speaker 1: We don't tend to cop George. We're gonna following George.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Time out, time out, time out. Right after the eulogy,
- 33:59Speaker 1: the crowd observed eight minutes of silence. That's about the
- 34:01Speaker 1: amount of time that Derek Chauvin grinded his knee into
- 34:04Speaker 1: Floyd's neck. Meanwhile, a lot of people waited outside because
- 34:07Speaker 1: of social distancing, people from all over the country. They
- 34:10Speaker 1: couldn't get in, so you know, they could only let
- 34:12Speaker 1: about half of the regular number that the chapel would
- 34:15Speaker 1: hold in, and there were many, many more than that.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Tomorrow there's to be another memorial service in North Carolina,
- 34:20Speaker 1: that's where mister Floyd was born. And next week the
- 34:23Speaker 1: funeral and burial is scheduled to take place in Houston,
- 34:25Speaker 1: which is where George Floyd was raised and where most
- 34:28Speaker 1: of his family lives. By the way, the Reverend Sharpton
- 34:30Speaker 1: is organizing a march in Washington on August twenty eighth
- 34:35Speaker 1: to quote, restore and recommit to the dream. It's going
- 34:38Speaker 1: to be the fifty seventh anniversary of the historic March
- 34:41Speaker 1: on Washington. Again, Al organizing a march August twenty eighth
- 34:46Speaker 1: on Washington. US Attorney Jeneral William Barr spoke about the
- 34:50Speaker 1: Floyd case yesterday, providing an update on what the federal
- 34:53Speaker 1: government's response is going to be. According to Bar, the
- 34:55Speaker 1: country's facing two problems right now. One is its police
- 34:58Speaker 1: misconduct and race. The vast majority of police officers do
- 35:02Speaker 1: their job bravely and righteously. It is undeniable that many
- 35:07Speaker 1: African Americans lacked confidence in our American criminal justice system.
- 35:14Speaker 1: This must change, Oh yeah, he says. The other problem
- 35:17Speaker 1: is violent protest. The US Justice Department opened its own
- 35:21Speaker 1: investigation to George Floyd's case to see if his civil
- 35:23Speaker 1: rights were violated. Problem is the Justice Department under this
- 35:27Speaker 1: administration has walked away from the tools it has to
- 35:30Speaker 1: reform scandal ridden police departments. There are now protest marches
- 35:34Speaker 1: and memorials in other cities for other black men and
- 35:37Speaker 1: women murdered by police in Georgia or Judge and Brunswick
- 35:40Speaker 1: decided that there is enough evidence of prosecuts to pursue
- 35:43Speaker 1: murder charges against the three white men and the murder
- 35:46Speaker 1: of an innocent black jargon named arm at Aarbury. Turns
- 35:48Speaker 1: out that the shooter, Travis McMichael, allegedly kept shouting the
- 35:52Speaker 1: N word at Aarbury after shooting him three times. Despite
- 35:56Speaker 1: some civil unrest and concerns over a number of coronavirus cases,
- 36:00Speaker 1: the city Chicago sticking to its original plan beginning to
- 36:03Speaker 1: reopen various businesses there, and actor Nick Cannon says that
- 36:07Speaker 1: his children, three of them, all three of them, are
- 36:09Speaker 1: afraid of the police. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:12Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Mourning Show. All right, Steve,
- 36:17Speaker 1: We're gonna try to make people laugh during this segment
- 36:20Speaker 1: with another quick fast round of ask the clo. Uh,
- 36:25Speaker 1: please submit your questions? Okay, So do you want me
- 36:28Speaker 1: to go for laughter answers or help people give it
- 36:32Speaker 1: to me? Now? Well, they were asking them. I thought
- 36:39Speaker 1: you were asking me. I was asking you what. Yeah,
- 36:48Speaker 1: here we go this one. This one is Lisa in Oklahoma.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I'm a twenty three year old woman. I recently got
- 36:55Speaker 1: married a week after my virtual college graduation. My husband
- 36:59Speaker 1: and I were virgins when we got married, but we
- 37:02Speaker 1: love making love Now. I just have one problem. My
- 37:06Speaker 1: husband loves to have sex early in the morning. That
- 37:09Speaker 1: was great during quarantine, but now I'm back at work
- 37:12Speaker 1: and the sex makes me late for work. I heard
- 37:14Speaker 1: about doing quickies, but my husband can't do those. I'm
- 37:17Speaker 1: new to all of this, so how do I tell
- 37:19Speaker 1: him know when he wants sex in the morning. He
- 37:22Speaker 1: don't really want sex in the morning. What he want
- 37:25Speaker 1: to do? It's just a natural occurrence in the morning.
- 37:28Speaker 1: That ain't sex, that's just early morning. It happened. We
- 37:31Speaker 1: just up, we all test shot. We are, we are,
- 37:34Speaker 1: you are, I'm we are what we're gonna do? And
- 37:37Speaker 1: he don't really want sex. He don't know yet because
- 37:40Speaker 1: if you say he was a virgin, which happened twenty three, yeah,
- 37:44Speaker 1: well he wasn't. But anyway, up lying up, what boy,
- 37:50Speaker 1: listen to me? That ain't that ain't no problem. Y'all
- 37:53Speaker 1: having sex and can't go to work on turn That
- 37:55Speaker 1: ain't no damn problems. She twenty three. That ain't no problem. Problem,
- 38:00Speaker 1: Say no, it's your body. What is We're tripping phone
- 38:04Speaker 1: but he can't say no to his body though. It's
- 38:07Speaker 1: what I'm signed to. Morning occurrence that happens with men
- 38:13Speaker 1: up to a certain age and he can't help it.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Just get your ass up, Poe, heat up and go
- 38:19Speaker 1: to work. You're gonna lose your job before up All
- 38:25Speaker 1: right in Atlanta, says I'm a twenty nine year old female.
- 38:29Speaker 1: My boyfriend is thirty two. We've been together three years.
- 38:32Speaker 1: He's changed over the years, and it's a lot less
- 38:34Speaker 1: sociable now. He says he's in love with me. But
- 38:37Speaker 1: I don't feel it. I post pictures of us on
- 38:39Speaker 1: my social media pages, but he won't post any pictures
- 38:42Speaker 1: of me on or us on his page. He told
- 38:45Speaker 1: me he keeps his private life private, but if he
- 38:47Speaker 1: hangs out with his female friends, he posts group pictures
- 38:50Speaker 1: of them. Am I being too patty? Or do you
- 38:52Speaker 1: think he has something to hide? Yeah? He don't care
- 38:55Speaker 1: for you no more. It's three years him. He's changed
- 39:01Speaker 1: his attitude and change. He don't care for you, and
- 39:04Speaker 1: he got female friends he posted, but there ain't no
- 39:06Speaker 1: pictures of you due the math one and one is two.
- 39:12Speaker 1: You ain't in nothing but choke picture. That's one. He
- 39:16Speaker 1: and all his girlfriends picture. And why do he hear girlfriends?
- 39:23Speaker 1: All right? Come on here and you helped her? All right?
- 39:25Speaker 1: Coming up in four minutes after the hour, Lebron James
- 39:28Speaker 1: calls out Fox News as Laura Ingram as to why
- 39:31Speaker 1: she didn't tell Drew Brees to shut up and dribble.
- 39:34Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this, Ron Ron, you're
- 39:39Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, remember back in twenty
- 39:44Speaker 1: eighteen when Fox News host Laura Ingram told Lebron James
- 39:47Speaker 1: and Kevin durand to shut up and dribble, both Lebron
- 39:50Speaker 1: and Kevin. You know, she was mad at him for
- 39:53Speaker 1: criticizing mister Donald Trump back in the day. Take a
- 39:57Speaker 1: listen to this. That's always unwise to see political advice
- 40:00Speaker 1: from someone who gets paid one hundred million dollars a
- 40:04Speaker 1: year to bounce a ball. Oh and Lebron and Kevin,
- 40:08Speaker 1: you're great players, but no one voted for you. Millions
- 40:10Speaker 1: elected Trump to be their coach. So keep the political
- 40:14Speaker 1: commentary to yourself. Or, as someone once said, shut up
- 40:18Speaker 1: and dribble. Oh oh oh here, Well, Lebron is wondering
- 40:27Speaker 1: where is Laura right now and why she didn't tell
- 40:30Speaker 1: Drew Breese to shut up and dribble. But Drew Brees
- 40:33Speaker 1: can have an opinion. Interesting, huh, shut up and throw
- 40:38Speaker 1: the ball, ain't none of that? Yeah yeah, yeah, said
- 40:43Speaker 1: it anyway, so we got that gun. He really wish
- 40:45Speaker 1: he hadn't said a damn that. Oh yeah, he wished
- 40:48Speaker 1: he would have just shut up and dribble it through
- 40:50Speaker 1: the ball. Yeah, yeah, that's evident. In his apology, Breeze
- 40:56Speaker 1: has apologized for his remarks and mischaracterizing kneeling during the
- 41:02Speaker 1: national anthem. He added that his words lacked awareness and
- 41:05Speaker 1: any type of compassion or empathy. He says, I stand
- 41:08Speaker 1: with the black community and the fight against systemic racism
- 41:12Speaker 1: and racial injustice and police brutality and support the creation
- 41:16Speaker 1: of real policy change that will make a difference. Drew
- 41:19Speaker 1: is asking for forgiveness. He did another apology after that one,
- 41:24Speaker 1: A video is this sincere well don't matter? How would
- 41:33Speaker 1: you you know me? You less stuff? Well? You see, no, no, no.
- 41:37Speaker 1: What I'm saying is what's the relevance? Who is he?
- 41:41Speaker 1: He's a football player. He made a statement at a time.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Y'all ain't heard worse than this. Listen to what the
- 41:48Speaker 1: president and said. What Drew Brees is catching morehal for
- 41:52Speaker 1: what he say than the president catch for what he
- 41:55Speaker 1: say because they won't attack him because he in the
- 41:57Speaker 1: locker room with black people, a president and is supposed
- 42:00Speaker 1: to be unifying this country. He don't say nothing but
- 42:03Speaker 1: divisive stuff. I don't give a damn what Drew Brees say.
- 42:08Speaker 1: He he didn't play for the Browns. Let's start that's
- 42:16Speaker 1: trying to follow you coming back for real? A let's
- 42:21Speaker 1: start there. What if it was your quarterback? What if
- 42:28Speaker 1: it was your quarterback. He can't live in Cleveland right now.
- 42:41Speaker 1: But but the ino is real and they got a
- 42:45Speaker 1: problem with it, and that's why he's making these apologies.
- 42:49Speaker 1: He's out of place, and he used the wrong time
- 42:53Speaker 1: to draw comparison to the kneeling because you just got
- 42:57Speaker 1: bamboozles like everybody else, spot the president and allowed him
- 43:02Speaker 1: to flip the script, and you went along with it
- 43:04Speaker 1: exactly exactly. You went along with it, man. But I
- 43:09Speaker 1: tell you what, when he was talking to Yahoo Financial,
- 43:12Speaker 1: I promise you he had no idea, dear, what was
- 43:17Speaker 1: about to happen. So you damn right here apologizing? What
- 43:24Speaker 1: what about? You should hear Shanon? You should hear Shannon
- 43:27Speaker 1: Sharp's response to to to this guy, it's really really good? Really?
- 43:32Speaker 1: What is can I play it for? You? Can? I?
- 43:38Speaker 1: I don't know none about technology, comp what they know
- 43:44Speaker 1: about Just after the show, and what were you saying?
- 43:48Speaker 1: You know how you asked somebody, what do you say?
- 43:53Speaker 1: I don't want to miss quote, That's all I'm saying.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Quarterback for the Buffalo Bulls bills Junior. Huh. He said
- 44:02Speaker 1: something about buying guns and make them very expensive only
- 44:06Speaker 1: for the elite white people. Who is this junior who
- 44:10Speaker 1: is he? Jake Jake from Jake from you shall be
- 44:13Speaker 1: the quarterback George Bulldogs that failed in the draft his
- 44:19Speaker 1: ass a rookie quarterback and made this statement he can't
- 44:21Speaker 1: even go to training camp that I'm gonna lace his ass. Yeah,
- 44:28Speaker 1: all right, Coming up next, we're gonna switch gears. Nephew
- 44:30Speaker 1: Tommy in the building with today's prank phone call. Right
- 44:33Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to morning show coming up at
- 44:39Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after.
- 44:42Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today. I found out that
- 44:45Speaker 1: I married a drunk is the subject. But first, Nephew
- 44:51Speaker 1: Tommy is here with today's prank phone call. Four three
- 44:56Speaker 1: relationships vote three. You know, fold days with you, dog,
- 45:02Speaker 1: three days with me? You see what I'm saying? Like
- 45:05Speaker 1: that dog, folk three relations fold days with you, three
- 45:10Speaker 1: with me? You ain't got to be with your wife
- 45:12Speaker 1: the days a week like that, fold with you, three
- 45:15Speaker 1: with me. That's that folk three relationship. That's something I'm
- 45:18Speaker 1: trying to get going right here, watch this prank cat dog.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Let's go Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach my reach. Yeah,
- 45:25Speaker 1: this him, Hey, my reason, my name, my name is Devin, Man,
- 45:27Speaker 1: how you doing this evening? Brother? Oh? Man, I'm kind
- 45:29Speaker 1: of sleeping. Man, I'm working nice bro, what's going on?
- 45:33Speaker 1: Who is this game? This is Devin Man. I talked
- 45:35Speaker 1: to your wife, Kesha the other day. That's that's your wife, right, Yeah,
- 45:39Speaker 1: that's my wife. Yeah, I talked to you. Why she
- 45:41Speaker 1: in right now? No? She ain't at work? Bro, Okay, okay,
- 45:44Speaker 1: I apologize. I ain't me to wake you up. You
- 45:46Speaker 1: work at night or something? Yeah, I'm a crane opera
- 45:48Speaker 1: at night, bro, North. People don't call me. That's three o'clock.
- 45:51Speaker 1: What's this? What is a big collect or something? No? No, no, no, no, no,
- 45:55Speaker 1: no no no. I talked to your wife, man, she's
- 45:57Speaker 1: interested in um this thing we got man called a
- 46:00Speaker 1: four three relationship. She told me she wanted me to
- 46:03Speaker 1: call back and talked to her husband about it, and
- 46:05Speaker 1: she gave me the number to hit you up at
- 46:06Speaker 1: the house, man and let you know all about the
- 46:09Speaker 1: four three relationship because she's really interested in it. Four
- 46:12Speaker 1: three relationship. You say you talked to my wife about it? Yeah,
- 46:16Speaker 1: I talked to Keisha a couple of days ago. She
- 46:18Speaker 1: gave me the numbers, she said, called him back he'll
- 46:19Speaker 1: be at home at this time. You can hit him
- 46:21Speaker 1: up and see if he likes she said. But she
- 46:23Speaker 1: definitely likes it, man, and she wanted to see if
- 46:25Speaker 1: you would be interested in the four three relationship too.
- 46:28Speaker 1: You know, I want to get your approval on it
- 46:29Speaker 1: before we went in it further. But your wife was
- 46:32Speaker 1: very excited about it, man. She was wanted to get
- 46:35Speaker 1: started as soon as possible. And I wanted to see
- 46:37Speaker 1: about contacting you and making sure that you agreed and
- 46:40Speaker 1: approved on everything. But she definitely wanted to get your blessing,
- 46:43Speaker 1: get your approval on it. Yeah. I try to do
- 46:46Speaker 1: anything to make her happy, though, but I got to
- 46:49Speaker 1: get some some information about this. What is said again? Three? No, No,
- 46:54Speaker 1: it's a four to three. A four to three relationship
- 46:57Speaker 1: is what it is. Okay, Well, if it makes her happy,
- 46:59Speaker 1: you know, I'm willing to listen. Okay, Well listen, man.
- 47:01Speaker 1: We're probably gonna get started right away, probably Monday. We'll
- 47:05Speaker 1: get started on Monday. You'll go through Monday through Thursday
- 47:08Speaker 1: and then uh, and then I'll pick up you know,
- 47:10Speaker 1: Friday through Sunday, man, and we'll go ahead and get
- 47:12Speaker 1: this thing start. I think after a month you're pretty
- 47:15Speaker 1: much catch on everything. You know, there's something's gonna be
- 47:18Speaker 1: shipped to the house. Uh, you't pick up. She shouldn't
- 47:24Speaker 1: have mentioned any of this to you. No, nothing's to me. Okay,
- 47:28Speaker 1: all right, Well what this is, man? A four three relationship, Maurice?
- 47:31Speaker 1: Is this? You know, you spend four days with Keisha
- 47:35Speaker 1: and she comes over to my place and she spend
- 47:37Speaker 1: the other three days with me. That's what a four
- 47:41Speaker 1: three relationship. So see this kind of frees you up
- 47:43Speaker 1: man on anything you might want to do on those
- 47:46Speaker 1: other three days. Man, when she might be tying you down.
- 47:49Speaker 1: You know, so four them days, you know you would her,
- 47:51Speaker 1: but the other three days you kind of have some
- 47:53Speaker 1: free time to yourself. But she'll be over my place
- 47:56Speaker 1: on the other three days. That's what That's what basically
- 47:58Speaker 1: a four to three relationship is. So I say, what now,
- 48:01Speaker 1: I say part of me? You say, she will spend
- 48:04Speaker 1: four days with me, three days with you. That's that's it, sir,
- 48:08Speaker 1: That's the four three relationship right there. Maurice. You know
- 48:11Speaker 1: you're you're really gonna like this, man, Like I say,
- 48:13Speaker 1: she was excited about it. Hold, are you serious? Uh? Yeah,
- 48:17Speaker 1: I'm dead serious. Man like, I said, Keisha, it was excited. Man,
- 48:20Speaker 1: hold hold the name. I know life. Ain't discuss you
- 48:24Speaker 1: about lacetionship spinish four days with me, three days with
- 48:29Speaker 1: a man. So you're talking about my life? No, yeah,
- 48:32Speaker 1: I know. She Hold up what name again? My name
- 48:36Speaker 1: is Devin, Devin, say bro, I don't play dans man.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I don't know how got my mama. What's supposed? I mean, Maurice,
- 48:44Speaker 1: what's wrong? I mean a lot of couples are doing
- 48:47Speaker 1: what's wrong? That's my life. What you're talking to? You
- 48:50Speaker 1: ain't talking to no po thot. You're talking to dude. Okay,
- 48:54Speaker 1: Well listen, man, A lot of couples are doing the
- 48:56Speaker 1: four three man? What other couples is doing? Wh But

- 49:05Speaker 1: I can't be I can't believe you wof my for this. Man.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Oh you're saving you're calling me talking about all three relationships.
- 49:13Speaker 1: And no, I told you I work in night wid
- 49:16Speaker 1: and I didn't know you worked that night man like,
- 49:18Speaker 1: I said, see when I came over last week, Man,
- 49:20Speaker 1: hold on on, you came over well last week, I
- 49:24Speaker 1: know you ain't seen a SIF without thank you for

- 49:35Speaker 1: just kids, I'm you know, I'm a player. I'm up now.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Don't see it? Go ahead, I damn all, I'm saying.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I came by there last week many by, Wow, I
- 49:47Speaker 1: came by your house. You come by my house? Okay?
- 49:50Speaker 1: Are you at eighteen four? Brill get I been here
- 49:54Speaker 1: for the last two years. I say you may hear
- 49:57Speaker 1: about your house. Okay, dog, because because she said, okay,
- 50:02Speaker 1: she said, I calls right because this first man first
- 50:06Speaker 1: of all, you the walk. So he's gonna tell me
- 50:08Speaker 1: you've been in my house? Okay, play okay, go ahead,
- 50:11Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead, go ahead. Okay. If you're not
- 50:14Speaker 1: interested in the four to three man, then I won't.
- 50:16Speaker 1: I won't be wasting them one more. You really are you?
- 50:20Speaker 1: Wait time calling me with my little wife. Don't tell
- 50:23Speaker 1: you about she want to go three? She never told
- 50:25Speaker 1: me nothing about cliff you got the wrong home ball,
- 50:28Speaker 1: and nothing wrong my relationship. Okay, okay, So why would
- 50:31Speaker 1: she tell me she interested in the four three man?
- 50:33Speaker 1: Give up? What she told you. I know I take
- 50:36Speaker 1: care of my dead room, all right, So three I
- 50:39Speaker 1: wish she Willie is three days. I wish she would anyway.
- 50:43Speaker 1: I know you how you know us? I don't know

- 50:57Speaker 1: do you know us? Man? I know y'all through Tommy Man.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Who is Tommy? Tommy Who Tommy Man, Maurice, nephew Tommy.
- 51:07Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy Man from the Steve Harvey more
- 51:10Speaker 1: than show dog? Your wife Keisha got me to break
- 51:13Speaker 1: phone call you. Man. You're talking about the Steam Harvey show. Yeo, Man,
- 51:22Speaker 1: if you told the little ball head Steve Man, I
- 51:26Speaker 1: know y'all ain't with me, Man, I know with me today,
- 51:32Speaker 1: Man said next you tell me now why you watch
- 51:35Speaker 1: Steve need to be over here, slip that's your ball head.
- 51:43Speaker 1: But you ain't got nothing but trouper Man. You know
- 51:47Speaker 1: I got to go to sea. You got to go

- 51:54Speaker 1: one more thing, Dog tell me this man, what is
- 51:57Speaker 1: the what's the badness that I mean? The bad? Hey?
- 52:00Speaker 1: This is real cute you. I wish I was there.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I wish you. Hey, man, what's the baddest radio show
- 52:09Speaker 1: in the land? Many show? I know it's some men
- 52:15Speaker 1: on this show right now doing COVID nineteen that would
- 52:19Speaker 1: love a folk three right now? Now, you might not
- 52:21Speaker 1: be to say that three y'all take a one time.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I'll take a seven. Just a seven, this a seven.
- 52:30Speaker 1: I'm just telling your folk three. I'll do it though,
- 52:32Speaker 1: nice folk? Three foldays Jay folda's over here? Three days?
- 52:37Speaker 1: Over the folds over here? Hey whatever, But I got
- 52:40Speaker 1: to get out of that four three relationship? How many?
- 52:47Speaker 1: How many if I started a campaign? How many would
- 52:50Speaker 1: be on board with me on this show? Or just nobody?
- 52:56Speaker 1: Berlin calling y'all, man, what if you did four days?
- 52:59Speaker 1: You know? Don't respectable wives and women let me talk
- 53:04Speaker 1: to you going over nobody else? How would you do? Free?
- 53:08Speaker 1: I can't, you can't. My wife would kill me. Yeah, yeah,
- 53:14Speaker 1: said yeah, Jay. I echo that sentiment exactly four three
- 53:23Speaker 1: j C time. You don't even put that in your
- 53:25Speaker 1: mouth that I'm married, Okay, So we can't play that game.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Let's not play that. Hopefully, don't play. We got team
- 53:33Speaker 1: too division. I can't play like that, man, don't. You
- 53:41Speaker 1: can't play like you was married. All right, No, junior,
- 53:44Speaker 1: look at this as if you weren't. It's too late,
- 53:47Speaker 1: all right, we got to go. Thank you, nephew. Coming

- 54:16Speaker 1: gonna read this right here, right now today. Yeah, bugle
- 54:22Speaker 1: lupohole on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:24Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter. Thank enough you. Subject. I found
- 54:28Speaker 1: out that I married or drunk. Dear Stephen Shirley. My
- 54:31Speaker 1: husband and I got married in January, and I relocated
- 54:35Speaker 1: to be with him after the wedding. We dated for
- 54:37Speaker 1: two years in a long distance relationship before we got married.
- 54:42Speaker 1: When I moved in with him. I found out he
- 54:46Speaker 1: is a split personality. To my surprise, he used cocaine
- 54:50Speaker 1: recreationally and he's a binge drinker. I never saw this
- 54:55Speaker 1: side of him when we were dating. The truth came
- 54:58Speaker 1: out on our wedding day. He started drinking midday and
- 55:02Speaker 1: looked like he was high. At the wedding, his speech
- 55:05Speaker 1: was so slurred that no one could understand his vows.
- 55:10Speaker 1: He admitted to doing a little cocaine before the wedding.
- 55:13Speaker 1: He said it would never happen again, but he said
- 55:15Speaker 1: he would not give up alcohol. I do not have
- 55:18Speaker 1: a problem with alcohol. If he drinks in moderation. When
- 55:22Speaker 1: we're home, he will have a few beers that leads
- 55:25Speaker 1: to bourbon or scotch. Later on he was moving. He
- 55:30Speaker 1: was mowing our lawn over the weekend, and he had
- 55:33Speaker 1: a beer in his hand when he walks my dog.
- 55:36Speaker 1: He walks around the neighborhood with the red solo cup
- 55:39Speaker 1: full of bourbon. The flip side is that he is
- 55:42Speaker 1: an executive at a company and his drinking does not
- 55:45Speaker 1: interfere with his job. He's in three civic groups and
- 55:49Speaker 1: he's able to have a single glass of scotch at
- 55:52Speaker 1: these social events. He chooses to be a sloppy drunk
- 55:55Speaker 1: whenever he's with me, though. I finally confronted him and
- 55:58Speaker 1: asked him about there. He said it's because he got
- 56:02Speaker 1: married and it was a big life change. He said,
- 56:04Speaker 1: he loves me, but when I moved in, his life
- 56:08Speaker 1: turned upside down and he needs time to adjust. How
- 56:11Speaker 1: am I supposed to handle this? Should I get this
- 56:13Speaker 1: marriage annulled now? Or is this just a phase that
- 56:16Speaker 1: we can work through? I think, Steve, this is a
- 56:21Speaker 1: second time time in like two weeks we've had a
- 56:24Speaker 1: letter about a functioning alcoholic or something. Right, yea, yeah, anyway,
- 56:32Speaker 1: this is a shame. You know that you've been with
- 56:34Speaker 1: him for two years and you just recently found out
- 56:39Speaker 1: that your brand new husband is an alcoholic. I think
- 56:42Speaker 1: if you guys didn't live in a so far apart
- 56:46Speaker 1: or it weren't in a long distance relationship, you probably
- 56:49Speaker 1: would have found out. I found out much sooner because
- 56:52Speaker 1: he wouldn't have been able to keep it this long.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I mean, I understand, though, you're giving him a pass
- 56:58Speaker 1: on your wedding day because you could chalk that up
- 57:01Speaker 1: to nervousness. You could chalk that up to nervousness. But
- 57:05Speaker 1: he does cocaine too. This is a mess right here,
- 57:09Speaker 1: it really is. I mean, what sober wife wants to
- 57:13Speaker 1: deal with something like this, This is craziness. He needs
- 57:16Speaker 1: to commit I mean, you know, he committed to you
- 57:19Speaker 1: in marriage, but what he needs to commit to doing
- 57:21Speaker 1: is getting some help, and getting some help immediately. This
- 57:25Speaker 1: is not a phase he's going through. I don't care
- 57:27Speaker 1: how well he you know, can perform on his job
- 57:30Speaker 1: or or in these civic groups. He only has one
- 57:33Speaker 1: glass of scotch. This is a deal breaker. Okay, this
- 57:37Speaker 1: is not a phase. This is a deal breaker. Drugs
- 57:40Speaker 1: and alcohol have no place in a marriage. They have
- 57:44Speaker 1: no place in a marriage. And that's all I'm gonna
- 57:46Speaker 1: say about it. You need to make the decision whether
- 57:48Speaker 1: you're going to stay with him or not. If it
- 57:50Speaker 1: were me, I would have been gone. I'm just gonna
- 57:51Speaker 1: tell you that, Steve, I found out I was married
- 57:56Speaker 1: to a drunk. You relocated after the wedding, after you
- 58:05Speaker 1: all dated for two years in a long distance relationship,
- 58:09Speaker 1: and then when you moved in you found out he
- 58:12Speaker 1: had a split personality. Simple split personality, simple explanation for this.
- 58:17Speaker 1: You didn't know the man, like Shirley said, the long
- 58:21Speaker 1: distance relationship. You just didn't know the man you thought
- 58:27Speaker 1: you did. And to my surprise, he used cocaine recreationally
- 58:33Speaker 1: and he's a being drinking so here alcoholic aner junk
- 58:38Speaker 1: all that. Oh you got everything alcoholic here, drunk aner junkie.
- 58:50Speaker 1: I never saw this side of him when we were
- 58:52Speaker 1: dating because you was long distance. But the truth came
- 58:57Speaker 1: out on the wedding day. He started drinking mid day
- 59:05Speaker 1: wed late until the evening four thirty, five thirty. But
- 59:09Speaker 1: it knew he was tossing, and we're about to find
- 59:13Speaker 1: out why. He admitted he said, you said that he
- 59:17Speaker 1: looked a little high at the wind excuse me at
- 59:21Speaker 1: the wedding. His speech was so slurred nobody could understand
- 59:25Speaker 1: this about there. You're the husband, Now, husband, do you
- 59:36Speaker 1: swear promise YEA do my duty to do my best
- 59:44Speaker 1: boy boy scout, bounce this duty. He doing all other
- 59:52Speaker 1: counter there the leader to the flame, United States, A
- 59:58Speaker 1: miracle boss shut up to your and uh, but he
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: said it would never happen again. Now check this out.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: But he said he would never give up alcohol. So
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: what he meant to say was I'll never give up drinking. Yeah,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: that's what that statement is. Yeah, I don't have a
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: problem with alcohol if he drinks in moderation. In moderation,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: he can't. Didn't you say he have a solo cup
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: full of liquor walking the dog. That's a big gass cup.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, everybody, I see where the red cup is
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: drinking and they had to hang on. Steve. We'll have
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter. I found out
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: that I married a drunk. Will get back into it
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters, jack Uh, I found out
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: that I married a drunk. Wow. In a long distance
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: relationship with this man for two years. They finally getting married,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: She relocates, find out that he's a bear's drinker and
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: he uses recreational cocaine. She didn't know none of this
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: because it was a long distant relationship, but it came
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: truth came out at the wedd because around me and
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: dad the wed and he started drinking. His speech was
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: so slurred, ain't nobody know what he said? And he
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: couldn't say the vials. He did several vials and none
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: of them was wedding VI. Shame. This is this is
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: him at the wed and trying to think of his why.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Once upon a midnight, dreary as I ponded a weaker,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: weary puzsitive by single query, which your monster greeks to you?
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: What you do? That's a fraternity point. Stop that stop
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: that wow out of the night, that covers me black
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: as peered from Polo. Shut up. Whatever the gods drinks
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: gonna say that your files say, your files pledgure legiance
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: to the flag United States. That's the plesure legiance. I
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: promised to do my duty, to do my best to
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: God and my so now the wedding was offer. He promised.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: He never he admitted he did some cocaine before to
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: win anyway, He said it never happened again, but he
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: would not give up drinking. Now, she says she ain't
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: got a problem if he drinks in moderation, But we
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: got a problem with his idea of moderation, because when
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: y'all go home, he'll have a few beers. That leads
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: to a Scotch or bourbon. Later on, when Scotch and bourbon.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Is yo chase him? Yr ass is in trouble that
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: night dog you have some bills and then later on
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: he akill it with a scott You're in trouble. Problem.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: He was mowing outline over the weekend. He had to
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: be in his hand and when he walks my dog.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: He walked around the neighborhood with a red solo carp
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: full of bourbon. The flip side says, he's an executive
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: out of company in this drinking doesn't interfere with his job.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: He's in three civic groups and he's able to have
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: a single glass doesn't interfere with his job. He's in
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: three civic groups and he's able to have a single
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: glass of scotch at those social events. But when he
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: with me, he choosing to be sloppy drunk. So then
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: she confronted the man. She asked him about the drinking,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: and hear what he said. He said because when he
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: got married it was a big life change, and he
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: said he loves me, but when I moved in, his
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: life turned upside down and he need time to adjust.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Let me translate this for you. When he married you
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: and his life was no longer his He has to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: get toe up to deal with it. He got to
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: get full when he walking y'all funking dog. He got
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: to be high when he cutting y'all's damn grass. He
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: got to be drinking when he and that watching TV
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: would chill his ass. Gotta get drink some bore, Steve,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: what you cut the yard? Hijack? Hi? Am? I supposed
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: to him being in a marriage? Should I get this
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: marriage and know now? Is it just a phase we
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: could work through? Lady? This is not a phase. Alcoholism
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: is not a faith. It's not And that's what You've
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: married a man that you don't know. But guess what
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: he said, he's not gonna give up drinking, and drinking
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: is a big part of your problem. Now, if you
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: don't really love this man and you want to get
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: away from it because you might have been off more
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: than you could choose, then I suggest you get out
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: now because you obviously being a caretaker's not what you
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: signed up for. And obviously your violes Richard Papoor's sickness
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: and health all that you don't even to mean that
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: clorosis of the liver, Yeah, you didn't. You didn't say
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: none of that you you didn't want to do you know,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: you know not none of the stuff that come with drinking.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: So I would suggest you get out because it's not
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: a phase. And he's not gonna stop drinking, He's already
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: said it, and you're unhappy with that much drinking. And
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: if he don't give up the drinking, he probably ain't
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: gonna give up the cocaine. Yeah, and eventually he gonna
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: lose his job and in three civic groups, whatever the
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: hell that mean? That could be only lady, just leave.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I'd love to tell you they hadn't and fight for
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: your marriage, but you ain't really in love with this man.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: You ain't never mentioned that in here, because your answer
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to us was should I get this thing annulled? Right? Girl,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: go ahead and do that. That's what your first mind
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: telling you. Trip it you moved your job up there.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: He just dranking his ass off. Let me hypothetically, would
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: you marry a woman that was a drunk and dick?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Thank you. I'm having a hard enough time anyway. Last
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: time talking to me drunk, I don't even want like
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: talking all the time sober. I really can't handle a
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: woman talking to me drunk. Y'all already talk too damn much. Naw,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: you're talking and it don't make no damn sense. Uh
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: let me ask God. No, I'm not marrying a woman
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: that drinks, Thank you Heavenly and no other kind of ways. Right,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: all right? Listen, post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM dot com. That's on Instagram and Facebook,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: on demand coming up at forty six minutes after the hour.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: We'll tell you about certain Confederate monuments coming down right
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: after this. That's good news. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Another sign of positive change, guys. A
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: couple of Confederate monuments are about to come down. A
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: huge statue of General Robert E. Lee and Richmond, Virginia
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: that is going to be removed as soon as possible.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: That's according to Governor Ralph Northum. Richmond was the capital
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: of the Confederacy during the Civil War. The statue, wood
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: sits on top of a massive pedestal, will be placed
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: in storage until authorities figure out what to do with it.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: So that's really good news. Give it to the protest
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Let's see what they'll do with it, oh Bernie, and
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: change some of these flags that they have to, like
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: the one. It's very simple. Change change. You have to
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: get rid of all symbols of hatred. Just start with that.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: It's real simple. Who is gonna care? Accept them? Heal
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: billies that that statue of what's his name gives a damn?
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Hey man, have y'all ever been to Stone Mountain? That yes,

- 1:08:49Speaker 1: are they trying to say? Here? What was it? And
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: dog and man, they show a laser show at the
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: end of the night. They do fireworks and they do
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: this laser show and they show it on Stone Mountain
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: and it's in lasers and it's very elaborate. Man, And
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: they go over history of like America and the South
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: and this Robert E. Lee and come riding through it too,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: with the stone Wall, with the Confederate flag and then

- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I got my family with me, all of them. I said, Man,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I might have to whip somebody ass out of here
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: because I'm not gonna let you do My family and

- 1:15:31Speaker 1: been the twenty seventh birthday of Brianna Taylor, the black
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: woman killed by Louisville police in a botched no Knock
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: warrant back in March. In honor of Brianna Taylor's birthday today,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: please sign the official petition calling for justice and send
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: a birthday card to the Kentucky Attorney General demanding that
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: he bring about charges against the officers who killed her.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: The most underserved demographic in America is black women. We

- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Kentucky four zero six zero one four zero six zero

- 1:17:06Speaker 1: trending news coming up at thirty three minutes after the
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: hour right after this you're listening to show. Okay, Remember
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: back in twenty eighteen when Fox News host Laura Ingram
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: told Lebron James and Kevin Duran to shut up and dribble.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Both Lebron and Kevin, you know, she was mad at
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: him for criticizing mister Donald Trump back in the day.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Take a listen to this. It's always unwise to seek
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: political advice from someone who gets paid one hundred million
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: dollars a year to bounce a ball? Owen, Lebron and Kevin,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: you're great players, but no one voted for you. Millions
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: elected Trump to be their coach. So keep the political
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: commentary to yourself. Or, as someone once said, shut up
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: and dribble. Oh oh here, Well, Lebron is wondering where
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: is Laura right now and why she didn't tell Drew
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Brees to shut up and dribble. But Drew Brees can
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: have an opinion. Interesting, Huh, We're gonna shut up and
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: throw the ball? Ain't none of that? Yeah? Yeah. Breese
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: has apologized for his remarks and mischaracterizing kneeling during the
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: national anthem. He added that his words lacked awareness and
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: any type of compassion or empathy. He says, I stand
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: with the black community in the fight against systemic racism
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: and racial injustice and police brutality and support the creation
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: of real policy change that will make a difference. Drew
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: is asking for forgiveness. He did another apology after that one,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: a video. Is this sincere? What's the relevance? Who is he?
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: He's a football player. He made a statement at a
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: time y'all ain't heard worse than this. Listen to what
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the president and said. What Drew Brees is catching more
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: hail for what he say. Then the president catch for
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: what he says because they won't attack him because he
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: in the locker room with black people. Our president is
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: supposed to be unifying this country. He don't say nothing
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: but divisive stuff. I don't give a damn what Drew
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Brees say. He don't he didn't play for the Browns.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Let's start. That's a trying to follow you. He come
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: for real, A let's start there. What if it was
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: your quarterback? What if it was your quarterback? Baker, he
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: can't live in Cleveland, but struggling right now. But but
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: but the ino is real and they got a problem
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: with it. And that's why he's making these apologies. He's
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: out of place, and he used the wrong time time
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: to draw comparison to the kneeling because you just got
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: bambooze like everybody else by the President and allowed him
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: to flip the script, and you went along with it
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: exactly coming up. It's our last break of the day,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: no justice, no peace. It is the last break of
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the day of hard I'm doing serious nothing. I was
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: pretty good. Yeah, it was. And we'll have, of course,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour right
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steven show. All right here we
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: are last break of the day on this Friday. And Jay,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: before we got out of here, get out of here,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: and before Steve gets to the closing remarks, you wanted
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: to make an announcement. You want to do to make
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: an announcement. Today is my son's birthday. Happy birthday, Drell,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Happy birthday. You are way past the age. Will you
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: get a gift? Okay, don't expect a damn thing, but
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: a happy birthday. Sinking shout out is to my grandson.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Morgan voted the number one player at age thirteen in
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: basketball in Columbia, South Carolina. The number of damn Yes,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I love you, happy man. The boy got skills. It's
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: been a week, sir U, two weeks. Yeah, and we're
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: still going a year. Protesters still out there. Yeah, the
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: good news is that the protesters, yeah, they're not and
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: they want to change. They wanted to change. Yeah, h yep, yep.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Brestin Peach Piece George Floyd um, wow, just a lot
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: going on, a lot going on in America. It's a
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: lot of So we're done with Corona? Have we done?
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: It's half time, julior I told y'all, is that what
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: you said? Yeah, you could give refreshments and all that, right, Yeah,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: it's half time. Yeah, I mean it's still out there.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I mean you still have to wash your hands and
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: be careful and wear masks and everything. Up. We heard
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: none we had what a month ago? He was a
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: screen every five seconds. We got account on who lost,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: who we lost? And now want those numbers? You don't
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: want that. Pomo was giving us an update in New
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: York every day from his so was the president. Yeahmo
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: was giving us an update every day, little clock. I
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: get it. I know we ain't seen it two weeks. Yeah,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: he still does updates. And Anthony fouled. You doctor foul
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: You talking about schools could possibly reopen in the fall. Wow,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: which is all great. I mean that's what we want
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: to to for things to get back to normal. You know,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: as soon as possible. A lot of peers is Magic
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: City gonna open? That's important. That's really when you get
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: to talk about things that's important. Right before the closing remarks, Guys,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: it's gonna be packed to j when they open back
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: the first day for the chicken wings, right, for the
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: chicken wings. Yes, I mean that's why we go in here.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: All right, good luck following this foolishness. Well, you know,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: let me do this for closing. It's been a week
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: for all of us. Everybody's sort of the first time
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I've seen around the world we're all dealing with the
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: same thing. First it was COVID nineteen, we were all
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: dealing with it, and now, thank god for video, we
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: are now all dealing with and facing the realities of
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the justice system here in America. I want the young protesters.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna just say a few things here. I want
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: you all to be smart out there now. I want
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: you to protest, and I agree with your protests. On
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the reason you are out there is just the reason
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: you are out there. It's the same reason Colin Kaepernick
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: got on his knees. It's it's the real reason now.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Because they are experts at drawing and diverting attention from
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: the original cause of the protest, especially when it's people species,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: especially when it's peaceful, They've learned how to infiltrate your protests,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: incite the riot, start the looting and the burning, and
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: then the angry catch on with it and it becomes
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: something else. We can't let them do that to us.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: We can't hustle backwards, y'all. We got to stay out
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: in front of this thing. Don't lose sight of the mission.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: The mission is so the Aubreys and the Floyd's lives
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: are not in vain that they garner the right amount
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: of attention. I'm just using those two. There are so
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: so so many more sad to say, but so many more.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Be appreciative of the non African Americans who have decided
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: to join in with the fight. I know the conversation
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: is what took them so long and blah blah blah
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: blah blah. It don't matter. The timing is now. Don't
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: get hooked up on what didn't happen or how long
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: it took to happen. Let's take advantage of the fact
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: that something is happening now. The problem that I have
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: with people sometimes see some people think that if they're
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: not affected by racism, then it don't exist. It does exist.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Some people treat justice like his pie. I heard Lord
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: Coates say this on CNN. She said, some people treat
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: justice like his pie, meaning where if I get some,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: you get less. No, justice's supposed to be for everybody
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: in equal doses and amounts. If you think because black
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: people ain't slaves no more and we're free and we
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: ought to be satisfied, that's a mistake at last, but
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: not leads to Drew Brees. We would love to put
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: our hands over our hearts and feel the exact same
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: way you feel about that flag. But that flag has
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: done us a little bit different. So we don't tear
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: up when we see the flag. We do wish that
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: flag meant the same thing to us that it means
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: to you, and it represented it and upheld the Constitution
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: for us the same way it does for you. That's
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: what we wish for the plant. We don't desecrate the flag,
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: we don't burn it, but just know that the whole
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: time y'all singing the song, we're just hoping the song
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: would include us. Those are my closing remarks. Have a
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: great weekend, everybody for all. Steve Harvey contests No purchase necessary,
