- Erika: And here we are in California, the Bay Area. Coming at you live and hot from the Golden State. Mpt3k: Hahaha Hello? I'm live and she's hot. Erika: Yeah. And together we're live hot. By the powers. Okay. Anyways. Yeah. What's up guys? My name is Erika. I'm a pinball enthusiast. ⁓ and, well, I mean by day, but a filmmaker. All right. I'm a freelance filmmaker. ⁓ I've worked on movies and TV shows about seven years, seven to eight years. ⁓ And then was a little bit corporate. Mpt3k: Together. Erika: And then that corporate time, I fell in love with the wonderful world of pinball in 2022. So ⁓ I'm relatively I would say new at pinball. I've been in pinball for about four years, but I'm like obsessed and pinball obsessed. ⁓ I'm OK with that. And Manu here is a really ⁓ wonderful ⁓ that I've made in pinball that ⁓ I'll ahead and let him give himself a Mpt3k: Aww. Erika: Intro here for y'all to know who he is. Mpt3k: Who he is? Okay. Erika: who he done is. Mpt3k: Who I am is like you said, Manu. I'm originally from New York, moved to San Francisco. I've been playing pinball since I was like 12. I ⁓ tell people the first pinball game I ever played was Nip It. It's called Nip It. And it's got like a big alligator on it. Go look it up. Go search it up. Yeah, I live in San Francisco ⁓ and I I did a video production, I do post production. Erika would be prior to and on set and also editing, but I only like the after stuff, the editing and the post production and the motion graphics and stuff like that. And in my spare time, I fix pinball machines and I actually have a Twitch channel too, which is Mystery Pinball Theater 3000. I'm a long time listener, first time caller. No, I'm a pinball nerd, too. I. I'm a pinball nerd. I have to admit, I don't like saying I'm a pinball nerd because I think I think I'm not, but I definitely am. Erika: Hehehehehe oooh Have you met your self? Have you met Manu? You're about to over the course of probably a few episodes. Yeah, we just love talking about pinball and ⁓ figured in a more of ⁓ a ⁓ to just talk, you I have so many fun video ideas, but not all of them. I just get to just ramble in them ⁓ and to yourself isn't always that that fun. I do that bit, you know. ⁓ Mpt3k: ⁓ yeah, we are. Erika: ⁓ in the company of Manu, it's been a wonderful journey. Yeah. Mpt3k: I'm here to listen. Yeah. Yeah. How do you feel about what you're how do you feel about pinball? Erika: Oh, I really, I really love it. It's actually bad. had to like cut back one year where people were like, can you talk about anything else? I had to take a little step back from pinball for a little bit because I was like, oh, yeah, I got I'm in deep. I'm deep. But yeah, fun stuff. A lot to talk about, a lot to learn. Mpt3k: Hahaha. So hopefully you guys enjoy our rambling sometimes. We plan to have some guests on every once in a while to talk about Pinball too.
