- 0:07Huh? Speak up. Speak up? You sound a little raspy
- 0:10there. A little raspy? I know, I'm sick. Well,
- 0:13that's not the only reason you're a little raspy.
- 0:15Yeah, it's not. But that's just those information
- 0:18that we can't speak about on the air. But anyways...
- 0:21Oh no, I wasn't even thinking about that. Well,

- 1:55are fucking yeah. Thank you Colin That's what
- 1:59happens when I actually have an office to myself,
- 2:02you know, right? I'll hop you feed pocket office.
- 2:05Yeah, Dave. Whatever it's whatever you whatever
- 2:07you want. Whatever you call it. So yeah But uh
- 2:12talk about the elephant in the room the otters
- 2:14this this weekend's past two games the final
- 2:17two games Of the regular season both of them
- 2:19being in the good old EIA This afternoon Sunday's
- 2:24afternoon game against the London Knights obviously
- 2:25went a lot better than Saturday evenings against
- 2:27the 67s London fans London team you guys can
- 2:31talk as much shit as you want. Oh Congratulations,
- 2:34you won with a bad captain a wins a win. Fuck
- 2:36you. You put the L in London like you always
- 2:38have anyways Good job, you had four of our best
- 2:44guys out. Okay, and we had our backup goaltender
- 2:45and suck my dick. Backup goaltender, we didn't
- 2:51have our team captain, we didn't have our number
- 2:53one defenseman. We didn't have our enforcer.
- 2:58We actually have a couple guys in suspension.
- 3:01There are two base enforcers that are in suspension.
- 3:04We can give you the same bullshit excuses, but
- 3:07guess what? We had some 13th, 14th forwards playing
- 3:11tonight. Had 7th to 8th defensemen playing tonight.
- 3:15So again, suck my dick. While we talk about the
- 3:19win, we'll talk about that second, because that
- 3:21was the second game. Gotta talk about that game
- 3:23last night, Saturday night. That's not, let's
- 3:25put that in the past. That was an odd one. No,
- 3:28like seriously, that should have been moving.
- 3:30It was a very, very ugly game all around. Between
- 3:34the officials letting it get out of hand and
- 3:36just... not making calls where there should have
- 3:38been calls made and You know just and so they
- 3:43thought they can get away with more and starting
- 3:44fight here and there at one point I think each
- 3:46team had four players in the box for these penny
- 3:49blocks that we became standing room only And
- 3:54yeah, but then auditors on top of that losing
- 3:55seven to one just the team as a whole just wasn't
- 3:59did not have it, you know And Coach said that
- 4:03too. Coach did not hold back in that post -game
- 4:06interview, which he never really does. Even after
- 4:10tonight's win in the soundbites, he said, do
- 4:13we look good at times? Absolutely not. And he
- 4:15said that after a 6 -4 win against the best team
- 4:17in the league. And he still had that to say.
- 4:20So I said, that's a coach that we have needed
- 4:22for a long time, a very long time. And you know
- 4:26that these boys, this team wants to win for him.
- 4:29And it's very easy to see that. Yeah. Yeah, it
- 4:33was, but yeah, like what Kyle said, Saturday
- 4:37night's game was not the prettiest, was definitely
- 4:40the prettiest game. Like, just in general, whether
- 4:44fishing or just in general how they played. But,
- 4:49I mean, obviously Ottawa had a lot to play for
- 4:52that night, because they were still trying to
- 4:55punch their ticket to the playoffs. As we talk
- 4:58about playoffs here a little bit later, they
- 5:02end up getting knocked out during today's game.
- 5:11And then today's game was just fun. Obviously,
- 5:17it was our final regular season game with Pano,
- 5:21Femis, Sanofano, and Martin Miciak. It was just...
- 5:26I literally just told Kyle I'm calling this right
- 5:28before we hit record. I'm like, it kind of finally
- 5:32sank in today that watching that game that this
- 5:36is, we're coming down to the very last few games
- 5:40of seeing these guys play and we all, I think
- 5:44we're gonna really miss these guys and it's gonna
- 5:46get harder as the years go. What is something
- 5:50you had just said? Sorry, Kyle, are you done?
- 5:52You didn't finish? I saw how it was done. What
- 5:55was it you had just said before we hit the record
- 5:57button? Oh, every year it seems to get harder
- 6:02and harder to let these OAs go. Like the more
- 6:06and more that you really get to truly invest
- 6:08in any team. It doesn't matter whether it's August
- 6:12or the Knights or the Six of Sevens or whatever.
- 6:15Like whatever team you follow, whatever team
- 6:17you support, whatever the case. The more and
- 6:20more time you invest, the more and more time
- 6:23you spend at the arena, and seeing these players
- 6:26grow and develop, not only as the hockey players,
- 6:28but as those people, the more you get connected
- 6:30to Nick. I thought Masters always hurt, like
- 6:34seeing them leave. But damn it, this year hurts
- 6:38even more. Seeing Pano, Marty, and the Big Rega
- 6:42leave. Although we've only seen three years out
- 6:47of Big Rega. two and a half out of Pano and two
- 6:50out of Martian. And honestly like those pickups
- 6:55that Dave Brown and with me and Jim Otters obviously
- 6:58who also kind of was behind of getting picking
- 7:02up Pano and Alfano and those trades and then
- 7:05honestly I think in the 2020s this was was probably
- 7:10the best pickups that the Otters have when it
- 7:13comes to when it comes to trades like they were
- 7:16one of the best ones that we picked up. And like,
- 7:21I guess being a season ticket holder, it does,
- 7:24you know, you do get to develop this connection,
- 7:27or not really a connection, but like, you know,
- 7:30this, you know, strong feeling. That's not even
- 7:33a right way to say it. But like, I'll just say
- 7:37with connection, that's the only thing that comes
- 7:38to mind. These connections you have, you know,
- 7:40around these boys, it's like... Holy shit, we
- 7:43just saw them grow up and now now they're leaving
- 7:46us what you had said, you know Like your first
- 7:48couple years, you know, it was not as hard because
- 7:50you know, yeah Who'd been some always and you
- 7:52like your first two years that was the rat like
- 7:55radish maximum edge die Yeah, maximum bitch younger
- 7:59radish. I I'm fellows. I think fellows was the
- 8:04only one left the only away laughs for my first
- 8:08season as a season ticket holder i said my first
- 8:11year was yeah that was the yetman here yetman
- 8:15doff no doff henry would have been the 2020 1920
- 8:20year and they got fucked out of it or no they
- 8:23kind of got no they they would have been the
- 8:25doff henry year would have been the coven year
- 8:26the 2021 but they got fucked out of it because
- 8:29again the pandemic but they don't you know now
- 8:32now you know with jeff and i having some more
- 8:34time time and experience under our belt as a
- 8:37season ticket holders it's like We've actually
- 8:39seen the duration of these players. You've got
- 8:42to see their entire career. That's how I feel
- 8:44with Sam Alfano. My first year as a season ticket
- 8:47holder was his first year here. This being his
- 8:49third year, I took a gap year this year for my
- 8:51season tickets. We'll be back next year though.
- 8:55I got to see him all three of his years here
- 8:58in Erie. Got to see his career take off. It was
- 9:03definitely a breakout year this year. I mean
- 9:06last year he was good. 41 goals. 41 goals and
- 9:09he just hit 200 points. 200 OHL points. Pano
- 9:15hitting. I know I had a couple milestones this
- 9:18year. We also get to see two years out of the
- 9:22two other OAs. For me, it's when I've gotten
- 9:27to see his entirety of his career. And obviously
- 9:29next year it's going to be, you know, Carrie.
- 9:31There's a lot of choices which we kind of went
- 9:33over last year, not last year, last episode.
- 9:37And I feel like we'll definitely go over it once
- 9:40next season rolls around. Once season six rolls
- 9:42around. I think, yeah, I'd say another thing
- 9:46is too like with these OAs is, obviously with
- 9:50the times that we... May have managed to get
- 9:53to talk to him whether it was on the concourse
- 9:56warming up or Real quick or even at the meet
- 10:00-and -greets and that I think one of my favorite
- 10:03moments is you know get miss yes axe reaction
- 10:06at the very wall I don't think it was the very
- 10:08last but one of the very last ones. The second
- 10:10to the last one. At Brewery Station. I had actually
- 10:13ended up bringing my Paddy Cade Chicago Blackhawk
- 10:16jersey. Because I know Kyle mentioned something
- 10:19about the Blackhawks to him and one of the other
- 10:20ones at our local Sonic. And I had brought a
- 10:25Sharpie and a jersey. I was like, hey, you know,
- 10:28I know this might be a big no -no, but can you
- 10:30sign the jersey? He's like, yeah, I feel disrespectful
- 10:32considering this is a Paddy Cade jersey. I was
- 10:34like... You're on the side of the back, beside
- 10:36the front. He's like, yeah, anywhere but the
- 10:37logo. And like, he just, he was so fucking ecstatic
- 10:40and bright about it. Like, yeah, like this is
- 10:42where I'm gonna play. Like he was just, he was
- 10:45sold it up and sold it. Yeah, imagine he, now
- 10:47that hasn't happened a lot to him that people
- 10:49recognize him as, you know, a Blackhawk. You
- 10:51know, one of his Blackhawks. I actually brought,
- 10:53like, when I went to the Firefire meeting, I
- 10:55talked to Marty about, like, I mentioned to both
- 10:59Ty and Marty, I'm like... I look forward to you
- 11:03guys eventually up in Chicago. Seeing you guys
- 11:08kick ass and take names, not only in Rockford,
- 11:10but hopefully in Chicago. Sooner or later. They
- 11:13got the nobenium, sure. I can see all three of
- 11:16them being up in Rockford early next season.
- 11:18I wish Yetman was still over here playing in
- 11:21the Chicago system, but I know he's over playing
- 11:24in SHL, I think the Swedish league. Which sucks
- 11:29to say, but like... It would be nice to get a
- 11:31couple of couple of that boys that are used to
- 11:34rep naming the one for me I mean easy I can losing
- 11:36panel yet sucks But yeah for me the Alfie is
- 11:39it's the hardest one to lose because I said he's
- 11:42He's been on the team been the one of our number
- 11:44one guys ever since I became a single order I
- 11:47said next year. It's gonna be really tough if
- 11:48Carrie and Also, we got this mixer sods Carrie
- 11:53sods Are the four, it's a new guy. Daph's, I
- 11:58saw it's McCall in the boot line. I think Daph's
- 12:01came in January of my first year of a season
- 12:05two in order over the Kyrie trade. Over the Kyrie
- 12:07trade. Yeah man, it's crazy man that we're, end
- 12:14of what would have been my third season. I still
- 12:17say, even people ask, I still say that I am.
- 12:19Just took a gap year this year. So I already
- 12:22signed up and already online to be in back for
- 12:24next year So same seat that was the last three
- 12:26years. So Yeah, it's a modern hockey playoff
- 12:31hockey coming up and uh Yeah, we'll go over just
- 12:34milestones and then we can talk about the bracket.
- 12:37I guess. Yeah Going back on March 11th Angus
- 12:44McDowell the Brampton Steelers signed a three
- 12:47-year year entry -level contract with the Dallas
- 12:49Stars. And then on head coach Marty Williams
- 12:53on the Barry Colts becomes the seventh head coach
- 12:56to get 600 wins versus Niagara. And then on the
- 13:0312th, Brandon Gerber of the London Knights gets
- 13:06his first career OHL goal versus the Guelph Storm.
- 13:09And Declan Wadek of the Owen Sun Attack gets
- 13:12his first career OHL hat -trick versus Flint.
- 13:16On the 14th, Ryan White of the Ottawa 67's gets
- 13:21his first career OHL goal, and Luca Morelli played
- 13:25in his 250th career OHL game. And then Tanner
- 13:31Lamb of the Kitchen Rangers gets his first career
- 13:34OHL goal, first OHL hat -trick versus the North
- 13:37Bay Battalion. On the 15th, Casshawn Achehenson
- 13:43of the Berry Colts. sets a franchise record for
- 13:46most goals by a defenseman of 35 versus the Steelheads
- 13:50and then Washington Capitals prospect Ilya Protas
- 13:54of the Windsor Spitfire hits 50 goals for the
- 13:56first time in his career and gets his third career
- 14:00OHL hat -trick um versus Saginaw and then in
- 14:06that same game Saginaw Spirit set a record for
- 14:08most goals in a season with 304 304 goals and
- 14:14in a single season. Sam Alfano, very honest,
- 14:20gets his 100th career OHL assists off of a Cal
- 14:24and Hughes goal for his Niagara. And then on
- 14:27the 16th, Sam Alfano hits 40 goals for the first
- 14:33time in his OHL career and gets his 200th career
- 14:36OHL point. Pano Fimas hits 30 goals for the first
- 14:41time in his... OHL current gets his 250th OHL
- 14:44point and sets an OHL record for most face -off
- 14:48wins in a single season with 946 with verse Guelph.
- 14:55San Jose Sharks prospect Sam Dickinson of the
- 14:59London Knights sets record for most points in
- 15:01a single season with 88 surpassing Evan Bouchard
- 15:05in the 1718 season and Rick Kuro Liu in the 1991
- 15:11season. On the 19th, Porter Marton of the Brampton
- 15:17Steelheads gets his 200th career, OHL Point versus
- 15:19the Bramford Bulldogs. Then as of the 21st, the
- 15:24Buffalo Sabres prospect, Raider Leaners of the
- 15:27Bramford Bulldogs gets his first career, OHL
- 15:30Shoutout versus Niko Krumthick. gets his first
- 15:36career OHL goal versus Kingston Frontenac's and
- 15:40then Connor Smith of the Brinkman Steelheads
- 15:43gets his second career OHL hat -trick versus
- 15:46Peterborough and that is the 22nd. Head coach
- 15:52Dave Cameron of the Lava 67's gets his 500th
- 15:56career OHL win versus Erie Otters Antigua Romani
- 15:59and Owen Van Stansel of the Barry Colts get get
- 16:03their 200th career OHL points versus Niagara.
- 16:08Carson Rykoff of the Brampton Steelers in this
- 16:11is today the 23rd played in his 250th career
- 16:15OHL game versus the Kings in front necks. Marco
- 16:19Magasno of the Sioux -Grayhounds gets his 200th
- 16:22career OHL point versus Sarnia Sting. Edmonton
- 16:26Oilers prospect William Nichols of the London
- 16:29Knights gets his first career OHL hat trick.
- 16:32And Kaden Edwards and Oliver Phillips of the
- 16:34Erie Honors get their first career OHL goal for
- 16:37the London Nights. Both beautiful goals too,
- 16:40man. Kaden was a nice snipe from what? Top of
- 16:43the circle, I believe. A little bit past and
- 16:45then Oliver was just a nice little lucky. Redirect
- 16:48out in front. Just two really nice goals. I think
- 16:51what's kind of... That's such a way to do it
- 16:53too. Season finale in front of a 5 ,500 fan crowd.
- 16:57Against your biggest rival in the London Nights.
- 16:59I mean that's... That's a way to do it. I think
- 17:01it was kind of cool, the fact that both Dylan
- 17:03and Kaden both scored in the same game as well.
- 17:09And on top of that, I think, because as we were
- 17:11talking about with Dylan being in LA next season,
- 17:16I think it's just kind of cool that now we'll
- 17:19see potential Kaden a little bit more as he comes
- 17:23up in his... career since he's still just trying
- 17:26to make his way on for us. I'd like to see him
- 17:29as a full -timer next year with us possibly losing
- 17:32up to three or four forwards for next season.
- 17:36I can definitely see him. There's going to be
- 17:37room for him for sure. But yeah, the thing I
- 17:43thought was kind of heartwarming was just how
- 17:47much everyone was there for Marty during the...
- 17:50Oh wait, like ceremony for Panna. Yeah, obviously
- 17:55with music being from Czechia. Slovakia. Slovakia,
- 18:01sorry. Slovakia. Very, very difficult for...
- 18:03Two very different countries there, Kyle. Very
- 18:07difficult for family to be able to come in from
- 18:10across the world. You know, so General Under
- 18:14Dave Brown was down there. Darcy was down there.
- 18:19And his billet dad was down here as well. And
- 18:22then the whole team went over and skated with
- 18:23him to be there with him for the pick. And that's
- 18:26hockey, man. Hockey is family and your team are
- 18:29your brothers, you know? And that's, it showed
- 18:31right there. And that was a very heartwarming
- 18:32moment to see there. And I think it was just
- 18:35kind of cool as well with this not only being
- 18:39here in London and in the season with Pano and
- 18:42obviously Pano and his brother kind of got...
- 18:45They're kind of very farewell to each other because
- 18:48of playing in their Their final game the oh to
- 18:52get against each other. Yeah, so it's kind of
- 18:54cool. I know there's a moment I got the there's
- 18:57the the second period opening face off. They
- 18:59got to go against each other there Yeah, I think
- 19:02Pano definitely got the best of them. But um
- 19:04yeah, it's just so many good things to see You
- 19:08love to see that Yeah moving on to uh the new
- 19:13OHL playoff bracket for how we're looking for
- 19:17this postseason. You want to start in the East?
- 19:21Yeah, perfect, guys. Here it is. Cool. Yeah,
- 19:24start in the East. First matchup, we got the
- 19:26first seed, best team in the East, the Brantford
- 19:29Bulldogs, finished with 93 points, record of
- 19:3244 -19 -5. Going up against the eighth seed in
- 19:35North Bay Battalion, finished with just 62 points,
- 19:38a record of 28 -34 -6. This one, I think it's
- 19:43kind of easy. I mean, I think Brantford's going
- 19:45to take this one pretty easily. Oh, yeah. I very
- 19:50much doubt North Bay's even going to squeak out
- 19:51a game. I mean, Brantford being 8 -2 in their
- 19:55last 10 games, I mean, they're just on a tear.
- 19:58I mean, they have been all season. Honestly,
- 20:01Nick Lardis has been leading the charge in that
- 20:04form. What did he finish with, 72? I know he
- 20:09was up there. I'm kind of curious now. While
- 20:17we're I'm looking this up real quick I'm gonna
- 20:20be ever regardless. I think I think this one's
- 20:22going to Branford. I don't it's gonna be Branford
- 20:24I don't this one. I don't need to see North Bay
- 20:26this week not a win. I think this is a clear
- 20:30sweep for Brantford He finished a regular season
- 20:36with 71 71 goals Wow, but a hundred forty six
- 20:39assists, but for a total of 117 points a season
- 20:43So you finished over goal per game, over goal
- 20:45per game. That's insane. Yeah, pretty much a
- 20:53great column. Uh, yeah, so, Frankfurt in four,
- 20:57maybe five, but, okay, four all the way. Yeah.
- 21:01Second matchup, we get the second seeded Barry
- 21:03Colts, finished with 88 points, a record of 42
- 21:06-22, two and two, we'll leave two, and... They're
- 21:10going up against the 7th seed in Niagara Ice
- 21:12Dogs, finished with just 66 points, a record
- 21:14of 29, 31, 4, and 4. This is another one, I mean,
- 21:21even though being the 7th seed, you'd think they
- 21:22might deserve a little bit better of a chance,
- 21:24maybe squeaking out a win, but just the lack
- 21:27of playoff experience with this Niagara team,
- 21:31I can see this would be another clean sweep for
- 21:33Barry. Niagara maybe squeaking out a game on
- 21:36home, a lucky win on home ice, game 3 or 4. But
- 21:40I can very easily see his way of being a real
- 21:41clean sweep. Just based, honestly based off of
- 21:45the games with Niagara this year with um I honestly
- 21:49can believe Owen Forrest is gonna steal him some.
- 21:53I can see him steal maybe one. Just the fact
- 21:55that how many times like he's um just this year
- 22:00he's had multiple like um goaltender battles
- 22:05not just with Eerie but like other teams I've
- 22:08watched a couple games but I honestly think Niagara
- 22:15is going to at least get I think this one could
- 22:17potentially get at least five or six but Barry's
- 22:20going to win I think I'm going to say five but
- 22:25Barry will win it Niagara will lose in cup you
- 22:31know old team maybe game three and four but it's
- 22:34going to be four I think it's going to be another
- 22:35clean sweep But you never by the way, I did I
- 22:38don't still end up being right You know when
- 22:40our our standings for ages I predict Niagara
- 22:42to be at exactly seven in the beginning of the
- 22:44season Look, I was gonna be way wrong. They're
- 22:46gonna get second or third, but then the typical
- 22:48Niagara ice talk fashion They shoot the bed and
- 22:50jumped all the way down to seven No, not at all
- 22:56All right third matchup. We get the Kingston
- 22:58front next finished also with 88 points. We're
- 23:00gonna 40 25 and 3 We're going up against the
- 23:04Sudbury Wolves, 69 total points, nice. With a
- 23:07record of 32, 31 and 5. Which ironically both
- 23:15teams being exactly 5 and 5 in their last 10
- 23:18games. So you can't really go based off of that.
- 23:21But I mean if we're going overall, the overall
- 23:23season, I mean Kingston's clearly the better
- 23:25team. I mean, Sudbury has a lot of, you know,
- 23:29a lot of potential on their team with Quentin
- 23:30Musty and they got a lot of good guys on their
- 23:33team. So I can see, I can see them, you know,
- 23:36Quentin Musty alone having a really good, maybe
- 23:38hatching performance game, stealing one game
- 23:41away from them, maybe pushing it to five or six
- 23:43games. But this one I think still, you gotta
- 23:45go to the higher seed and go to Kingston here.
- 23:48I think this one's gonna be Kingston as well.
- 23:51This one I'm gonna say, this one I'll say. This
- 23:55might go six. It's no, I think it's got a shot.
- 23:59It's got a shot. Um, but I think it's going to
- 24:01be a clear again. Kingston and probably five.
- 24:05All right. I got to read Jeff, but it's going
- 24:07to be two, two, two. Kingston has the worst two
- 24:10in home. Sudbury squeaks out the next two in
- 24:13home. And then Kingston won't be like, oh shit,
- 24:15we've got to get her act together. Fetch him
- 24:18off game six and Sudbury. All right. And then
- 24:22the number four seed, Oshawa versus number five
- 24:25seed, Brampton. This one I can see going seven,
- 24:29but it's either way. And a good three, maybe
- 24:33four games here going OT. Both teams are equally
- 24:37matched. I don't know what their season stats
- 24:39are. I don't know what their season records are.
- 24:41Yeah, Oshawa is finished with 86 points, total
- 24:44of 40, 21, four and two. Brampton 82 points,
- 24:4936, 22 and 10. Brampton was 7 -2 -1 in their
- 24:53last ten. Oshawa just 5 -4 -1. So this is one
- 24:58of the ones that honestly could go either way.
- 25:01It's gonna take seven. Probably the only one
- 25:04in the east that could go seven. Or the ball
- 25:07is to go seven. Not balls pop. I think Brandon's
- 25:10one of those things. I'm pretty sure they started
- 25:11off really well. They started off like 13 and
- 25:141 or 13 and 2, something like that. They kind
- 25:16of went on a little bit of a downfall, but then
- 25:18ever since the deadline, they've gone right back
- 25:19up and have been going off again. This is the
- 25:23one where I think I can take the lower seed and
- 25:26take the Brampton Steelheads. Again, this one,
- 25:30it's probably going to be a long shot. It's going
- 25:33to be seven games. They might get lucky and make
- 25:35it in six. But again, Oshawa having, you know,
- 25:40playoff experience as well, just getting to the
- 25:41final just two years ago. Or was it last year?
- 25:44Was it at the London meet last year? Yeah, but
- 25:46they just got absolutely... Yeah, they got stomped,
- 25:49yeah. And it's the London nights, are you surprised?
- 25:53Yeah, this one, I mean, I think that might have
- 25:55a little bit of, you know, a little bit of, uh,
- 25:58much I'm looking for. It's definitely gonna show,
- 26:00and they're gonna, you know, they're gonna take
- 26:02that to heart, but again, they might take it
- 26:04too hard, too harshly, and I think it's gonna
- 26:06affect them. in this year's run. I see them being
- 26:09a first run exit, sir. I think Brandon gets the
- 26:11best of them. I think I might have to agree,
- 26:15Kyle, on this one, when Brandon actually steals
- 26:19this one from Oxford. So I think this one can
- 26:22be as easily as six games. Yeah. I'm going to
- 26:27say if Brandon hits six. I'm just going to stick
- 26:30with Brandon seven. Brandon seven? Brandon seven.
- 26:33All right, um, that's great. Do you want to do
- 26:35the second round or come on? I'm just gonna go
- 26:38back over to the West and then we'll the second
- 26:39So here's the Not that one not wrong tab. Oh
- 26:47don't look So for the West in the first round
- 26:52Shocker Shocker, we got London that wouldn't
- 26:55have one seeded team in the in the league none
- 26:58of the Knights Versus the number 18 very sports
- 27:01class not getting the own sound I mean London
- 27:04finishing with a record of 55 11 and 2 112 points
- 27:09they they they should I know they almost had
- 27:12only 10 losses, but because we give them the
- 27:14love That's well. They had 12 with the two overtime
- 27:17losses, but And then Owen sound with a measly
- 27:2159 points 26 35 4 & 3 Um, yeah, I mean easy easy
- 27:28London for yeah London London in three. Oh and
- 27:31seven four Imagine dude. Oh, I would not shut
- 27:36my mouth on Twitter. I'm telling you right now
- 27:38I I hope that London will have to get a therapist
- 27:42They wouldn't be the therapist upwards Well,
- 27:46no, no, no, Ken Allen needs an a therapist whoops
- 27:50Did I say that? My bad. Anyways, yeah, London.
- 27:53Here, have a drink. Next drink's on the account.
- 27:59It's London in four. I will say this right now,
- 28:03as much as we hate this fucking team, if Owen
- 28:06Sound sneaks out even a game, I will be beyond
- 28:09surprised. I will be beyond shocked if Owen Sound
- 28:11sneaks out even a game. I will buy an Owen Sound
- 28:15attack jersey. It's going to be Bruce McDonald
- 28:17all the way, but I will buy an Owen Sound attack
- 28:19jersey. If they squeak out even a game. I still
- 28:24gotta do what I said to these guys last year.
- 28:27Buy Ken Allen a beer if Lowenstown wins a game.
- 28:30Okay, I'm done, because that's the last one.
- 28:31I'm done. I still gotta... I told these guys...
- 28:34You're starting to smell like a drunk and I'm
- 28:37a broken record. Yeah, I told these guys, like,
- 28:40I still gotta do what I promised last year with
- 28:43Saginaw beat London in the Memorial Cup. I said
- 28:46if they beat them in the Memorial Cup, I would
- 28:48get a... Saginaw, Georgina But cam Helms next
- 28:54greatest hits the car the lamppost the bed The
- 29:00jail cell clean the scene. I said the one thing
- 29:02is kids crazy with the London Nights is they're
- 29:06on over rager on Austin Elliott for London Nights
- 29:10Like what's his final record 32 and one? Oh my
- 29:16god and in 33 And then his game against was 2
- 29:20.1. Saverson was 0 .924. Jesus Christ. Wait,
- 29:27who's, who's the only one lost to him? Brown
- 29:29v. Sears. Like, I don't know what they're...
- 29:31I have no idea. It might have been Eerie at the
- 29:34beginning of the year. I don't know. It might
- 29:38have. Can you go bend and check? Check. Yeah,
- 29:42but it was, it actually was against Guelph. Against
- 29:45Guelph? Really? And that was at the beginning
- 29:48of the season. back on November 16th of 2024.
- 29:54Wow. That was when? December 16th? November.
- 29:59November. So we'll celebrate. He hasn't lost
- 30:01a game in 2025. No. My God. That's ridiculous.
- 30:08I mean, hats off, man. That's a reason that teams
- 30:11only lost 13 games all year. I mean, that's something,
- 30:14dude. That's ridiculous. Yeah moving on we got
- 30:19the the second seeded Windsor Spitfires and that
- 30:22finished with 96 points a record of 40 45 17
- 30:254 & 2 we went up against the 7th seeded see St.
- 30:28Marie Greyhounds Finishing the record of 29 35
- 30:312 & 2 for 62 points Again, this is another one
- 30:35that I can see ending in for maybe five if Sue
- 30:38happens to you know get a couple lucky balances
- 30:42if you won their home games, but Winsor, I'm
- 30:46sorry, it is top three teams in the West. There's
- 30:50no way you're gonna get around them. Whoever
- 30:53comes out of the West is gonna ultimately win
- 30:58it all. Maybe not the Memorial Cup, but the J
- 31:01Robinson Cup. Honestly, I think this one is,
- 31:06Winsor and Easley is gonna win this, but soon
- 31:08as Lee's gonna squeak, maybe one, so it's gonna
- 31:11be Winsor and five. Mean, I know I think I said
- 31:14this to a thing at least Jeff yesterday. I said
- 31:16Windsor has that history of Embarrassing themselves
- 31:18in the first round, you know two years was it
- 31:21two years ago when they got swept They were the
- 31:23number one seed Kitchener. Like the first time
- 31:26in OHL history where the first seed got swept
- 31:28by the eighth seed They're not gonna let that
- 31:32happen again though. So I don't even see them
- 31:34losing this one at all I think this one, you
- 31:37know, they're sweeping in my personal opinion
- 31:40Again, I just, I see them maybe dropping one
- 31:43if, you know, bounces don't go their ways or
- 31:47the officiating is bad, which we've all seen
- 31:50that before, OHL officials. No. Yeah, I know.
- 31:53Shocker. It comes to a surprise to us all. No.
- 31:57You know, because the OHL officials are the most
- 31:59perfect, wonderful people in the world. Yeah,
- 32:00they don't make any mistakes. They definitely
- 32:03know how to get a game under control. We saw
- 32:04that in Erie last night, right? Yeah. They know
- 32:07how to handle a game. But you know who knows
- 32:11just like I said like the sarcasm off my face
- 32:14Again, I could be wrong. I want to be wrong,
- 32:18but I'm saying And then we got the third seated
- 32:22kitchen and Rangers finished with exactly a hundred
- 32:24points and a record of 47 15 4 & 2 Good taking
- 32:28on six seated flip firebirds finish with a record
- 32:31of 29 34 2 & 3 With 63 points at least one of
- 32:35the first times in a while. He said all three
- 32:37American teams made the playoffs That's what
- 32:40didn't make Oscar Did they they were they've
- 32:43seen or they got crushed right? Not in the first
- 32:45round, but they were dancing I thought I didn't
- 32:48think they made us here. Yeah I said no, I know
- 32:50sagging on Flynn both made it. Yeah, cuz here
- 32:53before that When it's like got swept destroyed
- 32:56by London Sue in on sagging on worth face each
- 33:00other in the first round Yeah, Flint. Flint ended
- 33:05up going 0 -4. Yeah. Yeah, Flint ended up going
- 33:080 -4 last year. Sagadon went 10 -7, and Erie
- 33:15went 2 -4. Yeah, because I know Sagadon too went
- 33:18to 6 in the third round and then obviously won
- 33:26it in the second round. Yeah, even though Kitchener
- 33:30is the third seed compared to Windsor, Overall
- 33:33point wise and team wise, I think Kitchener is
- 33:34the better team. Just Windsor got that second
- 33:36seed because they won their division. So I can
- 33:40honestly see this one being yet another sweep.
- 33:42I don't know if I can see Flint sneaking a game
- 33:44out of here. Yeah, they're not a payoff team.
- 33:50Kitchener is just too good of a team. And the
- 33:53only playoff experience Flint has as of recently
- 33:55was last year when they got swept. And I don't
- 33:59know what they did the year before that. I think
- 34:01that's here, I think that's here where they played,
- 34:02it was the Battle of Michigan, wasn't it? Where
- 34:04Saginaw played, each other. I think Saginaw got
- 34:07the better of them. Yeah, it's not popping up
- 34:11here, hold on one second. Yeah, it was the Battle
- 34:14of Michigan there. Because, yeah, Saginaw had
- 34:19a whole bunch of advantage because they only
- 34:20got it by two points. Wow. Literally a regulation
- 34:26win. Wow. And soccer. And then the final matchup
- 34:39of the eight matchups in the OHL playoffs. The
- 34:42four -seeded Saginaw Spirit, finished with 79
- 34:45points with a record of 38 -27 -2 -1. Taking
- 34:48on the fifth -seeded Your Eerie Otters with 74
- 34:53points, a record of 34 -28 -4 -2. I've been back
- 35:02and forth on this one. Assuming that we get Carrie
- 35:10and Shafe back, Eerie's gonna take it in seven.
- 35:16It's gonna be a hard fought bloodbath battle.
- 35:22If we get one of them back right away and another
- 35:25one doesn't come back till... You know, the series
- 35:28shifts to Eerie, the E3 or 4. We might see Saginaw
- 35:32pull it off at 7. If neither of them come back,
- 35:35I'm sorry, I think it's Saginaw at 6. Maybe 5.
- 35:39What if we get one of them? What if Jess Shaver
- 35:41comes back? Well, we're gonna make it a series.
- 35:44Maybe 6 in LT, maybe 7 in LT. Well, maybe 7 in
- 35:49regulation, but we need both of them back in
- 35:53order to really... Really push. Yeah, I'm definitely
- 35:57a little bit more hopeful for a shave to come
- 35:58back before Carrie Well, both of them are skating
- 36:02both of them are still non -contact jerseys.
- 36:05We'll really push it for game one We could see
- 36:09the shape come back in one name or not Carrie
- 36:12I said maybe have to come back for her first
- 36:15game back in area game three I said I think you
- 36:17may be game three Carrie would be back if if
- 36:20he's fish coming back I'd say at least three
- 36:24pushing for Schaefer at least I can expect game
- 36:28one if he's 100 % ready. Which I would like to
- 36:31be able to see it if that's his first game back,
- 36:34but spoiler we're actually going to the Penguins
- 36:37Sabres game on Thursday night in Buffalo. So
- 36:41also keep that out on our YouTube channel for
- 36:43a vlog of that. So I know game one is that night
- 36:47in Saginaw. So if Schaefer does come back that
- 36:52game, unfortunately we're gonna miss it. But
- 36:55I know Voodoo Brewery here in Erie is doing watch
- 36:57parties for all the away games, so I know we'll
- 37:01definitely all be there probably at least for
- 37:02game two on Saturday night. So maybe they won't
- 37:06wait, but if he's ready, they're gonna throw
- 37:08him in there. Yeah, we'll see. In the season
- 37:13series, it's tied to a piece. With Schaeffer
- 37:17and Erie's 1 -0, without Schaeffer... Areas one
- 37:22and two, but they're just gonna spit all my table
- 37:24Yeah, various one and two without shaver. Yeah,
- 37:28I think this one's like It's probably the toughest
- 37:31one to predict in the West I'm still I'm still
- 37:37gonna say Saginaw, but I'm gonna say six I'm
- 37:45kind of right in the middle between you two.
- 37:46I want to agree with Colin and say depending
- 37:48on if we get Both if not at least one of those
- 37:51guys back It's gonna be a lot better of a fight
- 37:54Like I would say maybe Saigon on seven, maybe
- 37:58even Erie in seven But if both of those guys
- 38:01are still out, you know team captain and our
- 38:03best defender both still out It's probably might
- 38:06get ugly and can be Saigon as early as even five,
- 38:09but I don't think it's gonna be five The Erie
- 38:12crowd will give us at least a win or two. I mean
- 38:16weekend or weekday crowd Doesn't matter. We've
- 38:20just seen how loud that place can fucking get.
- 38:24But all in all, mercy, going into it with the
- 38:28team we have right now, neither guy returning,
- 38:31I'd say Saigonon probably 6. If we can get both
- 38:34guys back, they're even 50 % as good as they
- 38:38were when they both went down. Eerie and 7. Yes,
- 38:46it all depends. I can't give a full prediction
- 38:48until we find out who if they're gonna come back
- 38:51or not Well until we get that news we're gonna
- 38:59put that right that second round bracket on hold
- 39:01All right, so moving on to our normal puck doku
- 39:10and shit Start with hurdle this time Okay, whatever.
- 39:18Change it up a bit. I don't know. I don't know.
- 39:32Not a bad guess. Imagine. Right, so we got the
- 39:36division again. No, wait. No, we didn't. No.
- 39:38This means he played for Tampa. That's yellow.
- 39:40That means he has played for Tampa in the past.
- 39:43So it's a Western Conference team. He's... 32,
- 39:4633 years old. He's not Swedish. He's either a
- 39:50forward or a goaltender. So just to knock it
- 39:53out, let's say we get a random goaltender in
- 39:55the West. And go with like a somebody around
- 39:59that age. He's a little bit older. He's only
- 40:0932? I thought he was older than that. But he's
- 40:13not a goaltender. He's in the central. A forward
- 40:17in the central, who's 32 years old, who's not
- 40:20Swedish or Czech. And his number is 28 or below.
- 40:34Somebody like... Okay, it'd be Nathan McKinnon.
- 40:4029. I'll never bring a Tampa. Oh yeah yeah yeah,
- 40:44played for Tampa. Could it be like a Ross Colton?
- 40:49No, he's in Colorado. No, but he also played
- 40:57for Colorado. Alright, so he's in the Central.
- 41:04He's also a center. He's a center man. Ross Colton's
- 41:0828? I thought he was a little bit older than
- 41:10that. He's a center man. And his number is 17
- 41:13or below. And has played for Tampa and Colorado
- 41:19in previous years or previous times. So he could
- 41:34be Canadian, he could be Russian. Could be Finnish
- 41:44It's not gonna make it right and then there Could
- 41:52be written in this one. Oh, he's not this number
- 41:55is also in the 90s doll. What's the new number
- 41:58in Dallas though? This is so 96. Is it? Well
- 42:04Well, I wasn't never paid for Tampa, okay He
- 42:12played for Tampa and Colorado. He's a center
- 42:16man, number is 17 below. He's 32 years old. Yeah,
- 42:2532. Well here, next, next. No, he's Finnish.
- 42:35He's also played for Dallas. Oh shit! So I'm
- 42:39guessing he's Canadian then. Or so it could be
- 42:43Russian. He's played for Tampa, Colorado, and
- 42:50Dallas. Oh, Maroon never played for Colorado,
- 42:56did he? No. No? See, that was my initial pick
- 42:59from the second one. He's the first to play in
- 43:01Chicago right now, right? Yeah, he's in Chicago.
- 43:03I'd say maybe at least guess him. At least get
- 43:06the team. He is an American too, okay. I thought
- 43:15he was Canadian. Um... Uh, smash roll and gutter
- 43:25centerman as O 'Reilly, Stan Close, Doucheyne.
- 43:30I don't know who the bottom six centers are.
- 43:33Me neither. Colorado. You got Ross Colton as
- 43:39Tech, one of your two middle six guys. Middle
- 43:42six centers. Winnipeg, you got... Oh, Conor's
- 43:50Americana. You got... Is Utah in the central?
- 43:54Utah is Pacific. Oh, they're Pacific, okay. They're
- 43:56Pacific. They could be like, uh... I just think
- 44:01like a Nick could be just that, but I don't think
- 44:02he's played for Tampa. Yeah, Vegas is Pacific,
- 44:05Utah's Pacific. I'm trying to think about...
- 44:09I'm trying to think where Nick Paul was before...
- 44:12Well, if he was anywhere before Ottawa, then...
- 44:15He was with Tampa. Ottawa and Tampa. I don't
- 44:22think that's a Nick Paul. It doesn't look like
- 44:24a Nick Paul. Oh, man. Oh, shit. This one's tough.
- 44:48What, Smashville, Minnesota? St. Louis? Winnebago.
- 45:27Could be, possibly. No, okay. That's right, it's
- 45:32not fucking Dallas. For whatever reason I was
- 45:34thinking of doing Shane was Nashville and not
- 45:37Dallas. So he's not Canadian, we know that now
- 45:41too. So he almost has to be Russian. So he's
- 45:44not Swedish, Finnish, Czech, American, or Canadian.
- 45:47So he almost has to be Russian. I have two guesses
- 45:51left. Two guesses is fucking center man. Gosh.
- 46:02Where's, um, no, Teresee goes with, um, Detroit.
- 46:08Detroit's Atlantic. Oh yeah, damn. You've been
- 46:12in the East for a while, Kyle. Yeah, for a little
- 46:14bit now. Yeah, I was going to say you never played
- 46:20for... Damn near everything else matches up,
- 46:23too. Because I think New Jersey over there is
- 46:2419. It's weird Detroit's farther west than Asheville
- 46:30Detroit's in the east I Still think it was one
- 46:35of the weirdest like changes they ever did was
- 46:37put them in the west Changed it from the west
- 46:41to the east I Get the welcome of this one, but
- 46:45not that Detroit. Yeah The Columbus used to be
- 46:48in the west. Yeah, really before a man to move
- 46:52to Winnipeg Really? I didn't know that And then
- 46:57Winnipeg, for whatever reason, was in the east
- 46:59for a year until they did the re -alignments.
- 47:03This is what Arizona still called Phoenix, too.
- 47:06Oh, wow. Believe it or not. Arizona doesn't exist
- 47:10anymore. Well, technically they do, but they
- 47:16don't have it to you. Bunch of bums! I have someone
- 47:21to guess, like, what's that Russian dude that's
- 47:24on St. Louis right now? Let the Russian dude
- 47:30unseal this. Mark Chinkov. No, just kidding.
- 47:33I know he's on the flyers. No, Karel Mark Chinkov.
- 47:40I think he's still on Columbus. I don't... I
- 47:43don't remember. I'm too fucking tired, man. I
- 47:46don't think... It can't be Karel Kriprizov, because
- 47:48he's young and he's... I think he's also 97,
- 47:50isn't he? Yeah. He's 90, yeah. And we could guess
- 47:56him. We knock out two birds with one stone. Get
- 47:58the... Team and nationality. It's not in this
- 48:07photo, but he's Russian, okay. So he's a Russian,
- 48:11sentiment on either Nashville, St. Louis, or
- 48:17Winnipeg. Winnipeg. I'm pretty sure he's still
- 48:41on. Here you go, here you go. I mean, I got nothing
- 48:55else. I mean, it's the only guess. Numestikov,
- 48:59that's, oh my God. Wow. Okay, well, that is solved.
- 49:05Numestikov. That's kind of stupidness on our
- 49:08end, I think. Orange is the exhaustion. Anyway,
- 49:13so we've got to have a good time going across
- 49:15the columns. We have the Arizona slash Phoenix
- 49:17Coyoteus, the Booth of those Sabers, and played
- 49:21on one team in their career. And for the roles,
- 49:24we've got the Devils, the Flames, and the AHL.
- 49:32Devils, Sabers, Taylor Hall. I can also be used
- 49:36for that. Yeah, for Arizona. Right, either Arizona,
- 49:39New Jersey, or Buffalo, New Jersey. Somebody
- 49:41can hold on to that. Devil is one team, just
- 49:48to either one of the East brothers. Just keep
- 49:51it easy. Lower percentage. Oh, okay. Do the same
- 50:03for Calgary, like in Dustin Wolf. Played on one
- 50:18team in their AHL career. No, it's someone who
- 50:22played in the AHL but has played for one... Oh,
- 50:25Ryan Miller did, briefly. In early days in his
- 50:28career. In the AHL? I want to say he started
- 50:32out in Rochester and then... He did start off
- 50:35in Rochester, but I don't know if... I don't
- 50:38know if that will count. As long as he played
- 50:41in the AHL and played for... I don't think it
- 50:43has to be for... HL's, or Buffalo's HL team.
- 50:50No, no, no, not played for the one team. AHL
- 50:53and Buffalo. Oh. Oh, I was thinking for the one
- 50:59team, sorry. HL played for one team, typically
- 51:05they played like four games for the Penguins,
- 51:07record majority. What was he playing? He's playing
- 51:14in the AHR right now. Oh. He played for the Penguins?
- 51:18He only played like four games, but... Yeah.
- 51:240 .3, baby. Hell yeah. Alright, um... Devils.
- 51:34I'm starting to think of another devil. A coyote.
- 51:40I'm assuming it's Phoenix or Arizona. Yeah, that
- 51:44same frame. It doesn't say Utah, so it doesn't
- 51:46count. Because they're technically two different
- 51:50franchises. Oh, um... I don't even know who Arizona's
- 52:02minor league team was. I'm trying to think. What's
- 52:05his name? Tuckson Roadrunners. What's his first
- 52:07name? Um... Say his last name. Down. Not Shane.
- 52:11But his son. His oh just take him done see what
- 52:17pops up Josh don't eat. Oh, yeah, I knew he was
- 52:25Hey, what do you play a game when there is? Okay,
- 52:33good good thoughts there Jeff All right Cavalry
- 52:40and Did Wayne Simmons play for New Jersey? Philly.
- 52:50Toronto. Arizona. LA. Buffalo LA. Never played
- 52:55for New Jersey? Yeah, he did. Wayne Simmons,
- 53:00did he play for New Jersey? I'm not too confident
- 53:04though. Arizona. Which one do you think is easier
- 53:17to get? Which one do we want to put Taylor off?
- 53:19Which one do you think is easier? It doesn't
- 53:22matter because as long as we get, you know, one
- 53:24of the two teams there, we could just put Taylor
- 53:26Hall in the other one. As long as we can get
- 53:29the knife from neither. I'd say put Hall in Arizona,
- 53:34New Jersey, Simmons. No, wait, wait, wait. Jonathan
- 53:37Bernier playing for Buffalo. Maybe? PK Suban
- 53:53was only Montreal, Nashville, New Jersey. Malcolm
- 53:59Suban was Buffalo, Chicago, Vegas. I want to
- 54:03see if there's one other one in there, but I
- 54:04don't know what it would have been. Ottawa, Montreal.
- 54:08One of those two. I don't think he played for
- 54:26Arizona, did he? Uh, no, he would be doing, uh,
- 54:39Devils and Sabre. Oh, I think I'm trying to think
- 54:42of another one who might have played for... Did,
- 54:45um, Rupp at one point? Mike Rupp? He did Devils.
- 54:50He did Devils. He didn't do Buffalo. I know in
- 54:54Buffalo he didn't He didn't go Farthest west
- 54:59he went was Minnesota. Okay, so he played for
- 55:03Minnesota? Yeah, Minnesota for a while there.
- 55:05Oh wow Minnesota, New Jersey, Philly, the Rangers,
- 55:10Pittsburgh. It's kind of like Yager played for
- 55:12half the fucking Metropolitan Which Yager doesn't
- 55:17fit anywhere so The only one he'd fit in really
- 55:21is Calgary. And New Jersey? And Jersey. Same
- 55:26column. I just thought of it. That's why I threw
- 55:30it out there. Evander Kane. Did Buffalo. San
- 55:38Jose. Edmonton. Edmonton. Why? Atlanta to Winnipeg.
- 55:45So wouldn't be it. Calgary. Toronto, Calgary,
- 55:54Colorado. Did you spend some time in Arizona?
- 55:57No. Didn't really go too far south. Who did Roenick
- 56:04play for? Philip Roenick? Jeremy Roenick. Oh
- 56:09Jeremy Roenick. He did Arizona. He did New Jersey?
- 56:19I know who's Philly, Arizona for sure. Damn.
- 56:31Why are we squirming so fucking much? I think
- 56:32we're all fucking tired. Well, for Devil's Buffalo,
- 56:39I want to take a stab at Wayne Simmons and then
- 56:43do Taylor Hall for the Devil's Coyotes. He did?
- 56:51Okay. Cool. We were overthinking that. Taylor
- 56:55Hall. How should we click the right one? The
- 56:59first one, right? The bottom one. Great. When
- 57:04did he play for the Devils? Now it's just Calgary
- 57:09-Arizona and then Calgary -Buffalo. So I think
- 57:14he went right after Philly. Since to New Jersey?
- 57:18Yeah. He was traded in Nashville at the 18 -19
- 57:28deadline. And then signed with the Devils in
- 57:30that off -season. The COVID off -season. Played
- 57:3561 games for the Devils. Played just a measly
- 57:38seven games for the Sabres. So he must have got
- 57:42traded in the deadline again in the COVID year
- 57:45to the Sabres and only played seven games. And
- 57:47then lost three he spent with Toronto. So Calgary
- 57:54-Buffalo. Lafontaine? Only the New York teams.
- 58:01Only Buffalo? Yup. Buffalo Admirers Rangers.
- 58:04Oh, was he really? I guess he really liked the
- 58:08Empire State of mind. Try to think of like those
- 58:11early, like that early 2000s Buffalo team that
- 58:14was just stacked, like Brad May. There was Thomas
- 58:19Vannick, Tyler Myers. There's Campbell. Campbell,
- 58:24Tim Connolly. Brad Bull, has he ever played for
- 58:31Hungary? My elders, Buffalo. Boston. Vancouver.
- 58:36Boston. I'm out of steam. I hope we don't. I'm
- 58:44out of it, yeah. These past two auto -scans are
- 58:49just draining. Physically, mentally, emotionally.
- 58:53Voice trainingly. Well, I think only for you.
- 58:56Jeffy and I are fine. My only last guess is Kadri
- 59:02for Calgary, Arizona. I don't think he did, but
- 59:06that's like the best guess that I have. I really
- 59:15don't think he played for Arizona. And my other
- 59:24one would be like a Nick Pukestad. But I don't
- 59:26think he played for Calgary either. I don't think
- 59:28he played for Calgary. No? No, alright. Mike
- 59:43Smith. Mike Smith. Oh my god. For Calgary Arizona,
- 59:47Mike Sprit, Brett Hall, Michael Yogan, Michael
- 59:50Stone, Troy Stature, Q Joe. Brett Richie, Lee
- 59:55Semyak, Alex Tangay, Brad Richardson, Owen Nolan,
- 1:00:04Curtis McElhaney, Zach Rinaldo, Chad Johnson,
- 1:00:07fuck me, Lou Domingue, and then for Calgary Buffalo,
- 1:00:16Dougie Gilmore, Grant Furr, Curtis Azar, Chad
- 1:00:21Johnson again, Dwayne Rolston, Dennis Jobere,
- 1:00:27Paul Byron. Nina Myers up there. Well, she ain't.
- 1:00:40Well. Well, damn. Damn, damn, damn. That's disappointing.
- 1:00:52Yeah. Let's try and make it up on the pyramid.
- 1:00:57Oh god, fuck. Alright, anybody that's ever played
- 1:01:01for Colorado? That will not fit anywhere else.
- 1:01:11Joe Sackick? Cause I don't think he played in
- 1:01:14his latest 2010. No, that's the one I'll do.
- 1:01:23All right, 250 points in their career. Pretty
- 1:01:27much. Do you need Matt? Did he play in college,
- 1:01:34though? He was drafted in 2011. But did he play
- 1:01:38in college? I don't think he played in college.
- 1:01:39No, he played in Iowa. So he could do in there,
- 1:01:42yeah. Is the Q he played in? Oh, the Q, right?
- 1:01:45Either way. Because he played for Halifax? Jesus
- 1:01:55Christ. There we go. I'm gonna have to type in
- 1:01:58McKinnon. Iggy? I think no, I don't run the time.
- 1:02:04Iggy played for them. Jeremy Gingler? Calgary,
- 1:02:11Pittsburgh, Boston. I thought he played for Calgary,
- 1:02:14too. Or for Colorado, very short of my time.
- 1:02:17He did briefly. Very briefly. Any 40 assist season
- 1:02:32any team played for Colorado? My car Has he gotten
- 1:02:43enough for the first assist when did he start
- 1:02:45playing for them now? What do you do not toward
- 1:02:4718? All right Or did he play in college though
- 1:02:55see Did he play in college? I don't know. I don't
- 1:03:01know. That's the only issue I know. That'd save
- 1:03:06him for um, in case he played for college. Will
- 1:03:14he press assist on any season? Or SSC's on any
- 1:03:18team? Gabe Mabscott? Yeah, probably. We'll use
- 1:03:33one of our hints here to see if it gives us the
- 1:03:35count card. 50 -50, you found the blank. Your
- 1:03:42guess choice? Is that a Parisian? Is that a Parisian?
- 1:03:48You paid for Colorado? Guess so. Wow. Oh, here,
- 1:03:56hold on. Now that we can't... Now that we can't
- 1:04:00use them anymore. Who's the one that played for
- 1:04:03Colorado and St. Louis? It's not like a Brett
- 1:04:08Hall, is it? I don't think he played for Colorado.
- 1:04:14After two seasons in the NCAA with the UMass
- 1:04:17Minutemen, so it could have been Kim Lookard
- 1:04:19from the NCAA. Use a lifeline on this last one
- 1:04:28too. Do 50 -50. Paul Statsney or Brian Rollison?
- 1:04:37I'm leaning towards Statsney. I'm leaning towards
- 1:04:39Statsney. That's Joe, I was leaning towards you.
- 1:04:41Yep. Alright, cool. We redeemed ourselves. A
- 1:04:44little bit of help, but... Damn, who cares. Oh,
- 1:04:49damn it, we could have done Ethan's favorite
- 1:04:50player. Ivan, Ivan. Fucking Ivan, Ivan. You know
- 1:04:56what his middle name is? Ivan. Ivan, Ivan, Ivan,
- 1:04:58Ivan. I wonder how high his parents were when
- 1:05:01they gave him his name. Very your problem. You
- 1:05:05have to shade so fucked up. That's what they
- 1:05:07were Right before moving on to rest of NHL talk
- 1:05:12in the little minigames we have to do talk about
- 1:05:15some not milestones Dating back to March 3rd

- 1:06:24with his goal against Seattle. Dylan strong played
- 1:06:28in his 500th career game crazy think he's that
- 1:06:30far already. I know With his 1 ,000 and 15th
- 1:06:34start mark under flurry surpassed Bobby Lou for
- 1:06:36the second most starts in NHL history On March
- 1:06:4210th Nate Mack recorded his 1 ,000th career point
- 1:06:44against the Chicago Against the Chicago. Yeah,
- 1:06:47it's Chicago becoming exactly the 100th player
- 1:06:51to ever reach that milestone On March 11th Alexei
- 1:06:57Protas of the Washington Capitals recorded his
- 1:07:00first career hat -trick against Anaheim. With
- 1:07:03City Crosby's multi -goal game against the Vegas
- 1:07:05Golden Knights, he has now recorded a multi -goal
- 1:07:07game against 31 different NHL franchises. The
- 1:07:11only two he hasn't, Utah and Pittsburgh. And
- 1:07:16Patrick Gillies of the San Jose Sharks scored
- 1:07:18his first career goal against the Nashville Predators.
- 1:07:23March 12th, Juraj Slavkovski played and recorded
- 1:07:26his 100th career point against Seattle, and Jani
- 1:07:29Nyman of the Seattle Kraken recorded his first
- 1:07:31career goal in that same game. March 13th, Sergei
- 1:07:37Bobroski officially took the sole possession
- 1:07:39of the 10th spot and all -time wins with win
- 1:07:42number 424, passing Tony Esposito. And Jack Eichel
- 1:07:46broke the Vegas Golden Knights franchise record
- 1:07:48for most points in a single season with 79 passing
- 1:07:52William Carlson who did so in their inaugural
- 1:07:54season. March 15th Scott Morrow of the Carolina
- 1:07:58Hurricanes scored his first career goal against
- 1:08:01the Flyers and Igor Shosturkin recorded his 20th
- 1:08:05career shutout against the Columbus Blue Jackets
- 1:08:09and Brent Burns played in his 910th consecutive
- 1:08:12game now the fifth longest streak in NHL history
- 1:08:16longest currently active. March 16th, Mikko Ranzenen
- 1:08:21recorded his 400th career assist against his
- 1:08:23former club the Colorado Avalanche. On March
- 1:08:2818th, Yuna Kopenen of the Pittsburgh Penguins
- 1:08:30scored his first career goal against the Islanders.
- 1:08:33And with his goal against the Islanders, Sid
- 1:08:35the Kid surpasses Wayne Gretzky for the fourth
- 1:08:37most points all time with one team. March 20th,
- 1:08:49Ilya Sorokin became the first goalie in Islander's
- 1:08:51history with two points in a single game with
- 1:08:53two assists. Which I believe he had an assist
- 1:08:56on the overtime winner, if I saw correctly. And
- 1:08:59then March 22nd, Luca Cagnoni of the San Jose
- 1:09:02Sharks recorded his first career point with an
- 1:09:05assist to a William Eklund goal against the Boston
- 1:09:07Bruins. And that does it for NHL Marlstones.
- 1:09:13Noice. Since Colin already has his pulled up.
- 1:09:16No, I just have to go because I didn't want to
- 1:09:19have to keep fucking changing back and forth.
- 1:09:23All right. Let me make sure I have it right here.
- 1:09:29Sorry. All right. We are doing blind rankings
- 1:09:36today of the past 10 standing cup champions.
- 1:09:41So any team that could have won between the 2013
- 1:09:45and 2014 season to the 2023 and 2024 season.
- 1:09:49And you bring the 2014 Kings to the 2024 Panthers.
- 1:09:53Yep. Okay. So starting now strong, speaking of
- 1:09:57the 2024 Panthers, the 2024 Panthers. This was
- 1:10:02a good team. This was a very good team. Pretty
- 1:10:05much almost most of the guys that were there
- 1:10:08for that the previous year against Vegas were
- 1:10:11there for the most part. I mean, there's a lot
- 1:10:15of really good teams on this list. The Seventeen
- 1:10:18Penguins were really, really good. The Twenty
- 1:10:20-Three Gold Knights were really, really good.
- 1:10:22The Avalanche were really, really good. The Twenty
- 1:10:26-One Lightning as well. I think I feel safe putting
- 1:10:34this one at two? I'd say two. Is it two or three?
- 1:10:41Two would be right answer. Two? No, three. Well,
- 1:10:46I guess I don't have my, uh, I don't have my
- 1:10:50freaking numerical walk on it. Next up, the 2014
- 1:10:57Kings, believe it or not. Okay. If I'm mistaken,
- 1:11:03I think this might have been the team that was
- 1:11:05like the seventh or eighth seed. I mean, that's
- 1:11:07the year where they kind of went off in the playoffs.
- 1:11:11Those are the, uh, Is that the 2012 Kings? Yeah,
- 1:11:142012. So I remember, I mean, the 2014 Kings were
- 1:11:18a pretty good team. They weren't the best, but
- 1:11:21they took down, well, I think one of the best
- 1:11:23teams in the league that year, the Rangers, you
- 1:11:26know, who obviously had Henrik Lundqvist, who
- 1:11:29was at the time playing out of his fucking mind.
- 1:11:31Well, you had the best goaltending duel between
- 1:11:37Prime Henrik Lundqvist and Prime Jonathan Quick,
- 1:11:41which, you know... As you guys remember, we're
- 1:11:43two of the five big top goaltenders in the league
- 1:11:47at the point. Obviously alongside Broder, and
- 1:11:51Price, and Flurry. So... I don't know, go about
- 1:11:58me and Phil as you're here, but... This team,
- 1:12:01again, it was good, but I think there are a lot
- 1:12:04of teams that can go above them. Were they the
- 1:12:07worst? I mean, they were a good team, but were
- 1:12:09they the worst of these past ten winners? There's
- 1:12:13a good chance. I mean the 2016 Penguins were,
- 1:12:16you know, not very good up until we got rid of
- 1:12:20Johnston and brought in Sullivan. In all honesty,
- 1:12:23I don't honestly know who the other ones are
- 1:12:27that Kohler has on this list, but I would say
- 1:12:30edible. I would say they're probably the most
- 1:12:32least, they're the most forgettable. That's a
- 1:12:36good way to put it. The kings are kind of the
- 1:12:38most forgettable, like, agis to cotton champions.
- 1:12:41Put him at five? Is there one that we would put
- 1:12:47below them? I don't think there's one that we
- 1:12:54would feel bad about putting below them. It's
- 1:12:57like I feel like you have to put him at five.
- 1:12:59Yeah, unfortunately. Next up. The 2021 Tampa
- 1:13:08Bay Lightning. And this team was a lot better
- 1:13:10than the 1920. They kind of got lucky with the
- 1:13:14little bubble thing. That whole playoff was just
- 1:13:18a jumbled mess. They did the best they could
- 1:13:20with, you know. The very little resources that
- 1:13:23they had. And even the 2021 realignment season,
- 1:13:31they did what they best did. That division was...
- 1:13:34on godly. It was such a good division. That central
- 1:13:37division? It was the central and the east. Those
- 1:13:40two divisions were just unbelievable. Yeah. Unfortunately,
- 1:13:45you know, they went up against each other in
- 1:13:47the quote -unquote conference finals because
- 1:13:50there was the west and the north for the other
- 1:13:53one. I think that was the first year we got the
- 1:13:59battle of Florida. in that first round. I remember
- 1:14:02that one was ridiculous. That was ridiculous.
- 1:14:06Obviously, Montreal had their Cinderella story
- 1:14:08going. A carry price that you haven't seen since
- 1:14:142015, 2016. That carry price going back for one
- 1:14:18final push. The last push of his career, unfortunately.
- 1:14:24I really wish he got a better ending. His career
- 1:14:26just ended so abruptly and it's such a shame.
- 1:14:30Trust me, I hated playing against him. But my
- 1:14:33god was a damn good goaltender. He is a fucking
- 1:14:36good goaltender, man. And I feel so bad for him.
- 1:14:42Is this one a three or a one? It's not a four
- 1:14:44for sure. It's not a four. It's one of three
- 1:14:49or one. Is it a four? Same question. Is there,
- 1:14:54is there, if we put in that three. Is there any
- 1:14:59that I can go at one that we will disagree we're
- 1:15:01not better than that team There's a couple I
- 1:15:06see there's the 17 penguins there's 23 Gold Knights
- 1:15:10was a 22 avalanche Do I have it on there? I don't
- 1:15:18know. I guess you'll have to make a decision
- 1:15:20to find out No pressure you guys He could very
- 1:15:25easily be fun with us and put both penguins teams
- 1:15:27on here He could have both, both tampas on here.
- 1:15:31I don't know, did I? Get three or one, I'll let
- 1:15:36you get the final choice. Ah, you made me doubt
- 1:15:41myself, because if he did have some and he managed
- 1:15:46to put the two tampas, I would say the 20 -21
- 1:15:52lightning were better. Pittsburgh's, um... Our
- 1:15:58second run was better. The second run was better.
- 1:16:06I'm leaning more towards three. But... I'm leaning
- 1:16:14three, too. Three? Alright. Cause I feel... Cause
- 1:16:19the only one I can feel like he'll throw in there
- 1:16:21is Chicago's 15. Yeah? Which is exactly right.
- 1:16:25That's why the Chicago's 15 run. That was a good
- 1:16:28team, but it wasn't, I don't think it's anything
- 1:16:30compared to the last, these last options that
- 1:16:32we have. If I'm going to be honest, I think out
- 1:16:34of the three Chicago teams that won 20 tens,
- 1:16:37that one was the worst. In my personal opinion.
- 1:16:40I would agree. I think 13 was probably their...
- 1:16:4310 was the best. It was... 10. I think 13 was
- 1:16:48their best. I think 10 was the best against Philadelphia.
- 1:16:5213 is when Kane was showing his full potential.
- 1:16:55He's better than he had ever been. Taze was playing
- 1:16:57better than he had ever been playing. They still
- 1:17:00had I think Patrick Sharp on that team. They
- 1:17:01had also Corey Crawford. Was the number two both
- 1:17:06in 10 and 13. He wanted to start in 15. Keep
- 1:17:10in mind. Regardless. I don't know how much we're
- 1:17:15gonna argue. I'm okay with putting them at four.
- 1:17:16Four is... Like, I don't... Honestly, I don't
- 1:17:18think there's a... There's only one on top of
- 1:17:21my head that I think is, you know, gonna be bad
- 1:17:25for number one. But, we'll see. I'm gonna block
- 1:17:33it out and type it in again. Okay, that's okay.
- 1:17:45That's not great. The one that I was thinking
- 1:17:47that was probably the one that would have been
- 1:17:49not okay with would have been in 2019 Blues But
- 1:17:52I'm okay with that. I should have done that just
- 1:17:54to piss you guys off. I'm okay with that list.
- 1:17:57That's not bad Yeah, and that's where Oli got
- 1:18:01his That team was unbelievable. I mean that team
- 1:18:04was so good too, and they took down the two time
- 1:18:08rating champ penguins They went on and beat the
- 1:18:11Gold Knights who had no business getting that
- 1:18:14far but ended up being way better than anybody
- 1:18:17would ever imagine that year. Yeah, I'm okay
- 1:18:20with that. I can't come in. Nope. I'll tell you
- 1:18:28this after we're off the air. It's a joke that
- 1:18:32we've said on here before but it's not worth
- 1:18:34repeating. Gotcha. Alright, moving on to my two,
- 1:18:39I guess the category names or whatever. The second
- 1:18:44one I think you have a better chance of getting
- 1:18:45than the first one. I have two sets this time.
- 1:18:48The first one I just thought of and I'm telling
- 1:18:51y 'all right now, if you get this I will jump
- 1:18:53out this window down in my car right now. Alright,
- 1:18:57first name on the list, Sidney Crosby. I'll say
- 1:19:07either that or Captain's. Uh, First Ballot Hall
- 1:19:10of, feature First Ballot Hall of Famer. No. Connor
- 1:19:14Bedard. First overall pick. No. A generational
- 1:19:20player. No. Alex Lyon. Same amount, uh, players
- 1:19:33who have the same amount of letters in first
- 1:19:36name. As in, last name. Today. Nice, seriously
- 1:19:39got it, huh? Hey, Kyle, come here. Here we go.
- 1:19:44Jeff, come here. Hold this. Hold this. Oh, there
- 1:19:48is no shot that he fucking got that. Uh, there's
- 1:19:52a screen in the bottom, so you gotta jump out
- 1:19:53the top. Oh, I'm not fitting up that. Damn, dude,
- 1:19:58I really thought that was a good one for me,
- 1:19:59too. Fuck. Oh, yeah. I would not. Oh, fuck, that's...
- 1:20:06Damn. As soon as he said Alex Lye, I was like,
- 1:20:08that has to be it. I should have put him at the
- 1:20:11bottom. Other ones I had, I literally just did
- 1:20:13every position possible. I did Braden Holtby,
- 1:20:16Tyler Myers, Pavel Zaka, Trevor Zegris, Kaspery
- 1:20:19Kapanen, Thomas Tatar, and Victor Edman. Don't
- 1:20:22destroy the fucking shades, though. Wow. I mean,
- 1:20:26I shouldn't have said that. I should have just
- 1:20:27started naming them off, but... Fuck, I should
- 1:20:29have kept Alex Lye for the last one. Nah, eat
- 1:20:32a dick. Damn, all right. This one I think, if
- 1:20:36anything I think Jeffy might be able to get this
- 1:20:37one. But this one's a little tougher. Or just,
- 1:20:41I think maybe just this time it might be a little
- 1:20:43bit easier. I just thought it was easier. Olimata.
- 1:20:53I'm gonna sit out this first one. It's Warren
- 1:20:55Bell. Played at least with four teams. I'm gonna
- 1:21:01guess that. Jordan Bennington. Stanley Cup Champions.
- 1:21:12No. Played in the West. No. Robert Bortuzzo.
- 1:21:21I can't say he played for the London Nights because
- 1:21:23Britain too never played for the London Nights.
- 1:21:25No. I know Mata did. Mata did and I'll have to
- 1:21:28say what he just... Played in the outward. No.
- 1:21:35Philip Gruber. Has won both the... No, no. What
- 1:21:53are you gonna say? I was gonna say has won both
- 1:21:55the J. Robinson Cup, or the Memorial Cup, and
- 1:21:58the Stanley Cup. That was it, yeah. That's actually
- 1:22:00what I was - I was literally - I was like, wait.
- 1:22:02Players that have won both an OHL Championship
- 1:22:04and a Stanley Cup. Yeah? Damn. I actually was
- 1:22:07just about to say that one. You just fucking
- 1:22:09kicked me while I was fucking down there. God.
- 1:22:12Other names I had. Robbie Fabry, Dave Bowlin,
- 1:22:15Jordan Stahl, Corey Perry, Anthony Cirelli, and
- 1:22:18Eric Scherneck. Damn. Yeah, you just fucking
- 1:22:23kicked me while I was down there. Kyle. Kyle.
- 1:22:27Try something harder next time. Just for fun.
- 1:22:31We'll go through that because I did it all. Let's
- 1:22:33try to name both teams that every player went
- 1:22:35for. So who did Oli Mata win with? London. London.
- 1:22:39What year? He would have... It was mid -2000.
- 1:22:48Yeah, because Mata wasn't drafted until the 2012
- 1:22:51draft. Yeah. So it would have been pre -20...
- 1:22:54No, because I don't... London... Won it in they
- 1:22:58won in 06 06, but they also won it No, cuz he
- 1:23:04couldn't he couldn't have done it in the 15 16
- 1:23:05season No, no, cuz I was used with Pithra at
- 1:23:08the time one else to be here Did he win it in
- 1:23:11there? Oh, did they win in the early twenty five
- 1:23:13twenty tenths? I think it was 12 I'll say 12
- 1:23:17is when they when they won it 2012 -2013 season
- 1:23:222012 -2013 which NHL team obviously Obviously
- 1:23:24the famous. Yeah. Who did Jordan Bennington win
- 1:23:27with? Oh, fuck. I just saw him on the OHL quarter
- 1:23:37century team, too. Not the Sioux. Not the Sioux.
- 1:23:43Not Wealth. No. Owen Sound. Owen Sound, what
- 1:23:49year? I was going to say, I knew it was some
- 1:23:52red team. I knew it was a red team. I had a think
- 1:23:55first. What did Owen Stout win? They were 10
- 1:24:00-11. I know they were a pair of 10 -11. 10 -11.
- 1:24:04And then on is NHL. In the 2019 Senate Cup. Yeah.
- 1:24:08Robert Pertuso. That's where he won. Oh, fuck.
- 1:24:12I can't. Plymouth. Did he play? I don't know.
- 1:24:16He might have played there. That's not where
- 1:24:17he won. Yeah, not with the Plymouth. Flint's
- 1:24:22franchise. I can't even remember who he played
- 1:24:29for. That's the... Isn't it Eastern team? I mean
- 1:24:36Eastern Conference team. In the O .H. Chow? Yeah.
- 1:24:38No. Okay, so he played out West in the O .H.
- 1:24:40Chow. Did he play in the West Division? Or was
- 1:24:45he Midwest? I don't know, I think they've changed
- 1:24:49at the time. Let me see where he was at the time.
- 1:24:51At the time. At the time it was the Midwest Division.
- 1:25:05I think it still is. So then obviously the two
- 1:25:09teams that are still in the Midwest Division
- 1:25:11are London and Eerie. Kitchener has as well.
- 1:25:15Kitchener has as well. He didn't play with Kitchener,
- 1:25:18he didn't play with Eerie, he didn't play with
- 1:25:21London. Did he? No, he didn't play with London.
- 1:25:25Because he would have been on the quarter century
- 1:25:27team. With Pertuzzo? Yeah. So he wanted him in
- 1:25:30London. Was not London. Plemeth was... eventually,
- 1:25:36for a couple of seasons they were midwest and
- 1:25:38then they went to west or central then west or
- 1:25:41whatever. But Owen Sal has been in that division.
- 1:25:46Soon has been in the division, a time or two,
- 1:25:48a season or two, when they were doing all the
- 1:25:50revimements and all the franchise changes. You
- 1:25:55said the team, but you said he didn't play for
- 1:25:57them. That he didn't win with them. He didn't
- 1:25:59play with London. No, not London. Sioux? No,
- 1:26:03not Sioux. Kitchener? Kitchener. Oh, really?
- 1:26:06Kitchener. Won with Kitchener in 2008. Oh. Then
- 1:26:09I'll say we know, St. Louis in 19. OK. Where
- 1:26:12did Philip Grubauer win? I saw him. Red team.
- 1:26:21I'm thinking red team. So Sioux. Sioux, Owen
- 1:26:24Sound. Niagara. I'm just trying to think of red
- 1:26:27teams. Not Niagara. Oh, um, Oshawa. Was it Oshawa?
- 1:26:33Not Oshawa. So it had to be Sioux. Nope. Wolfe?
- 1:26:37Nope. Not Niagara. No. Where did what the fuck
- 1:26:43did he play like one of the best teams in league
- 1:26:44this year Windsor Windsor Windsor 2010 Then where'd
- 1:26:50he win? No, it wasn't Colorado's capitals capitals.
- 1:26:54Yep, 2018 Robbie Fabry, where did he win? Another
- 1:26:59red I'm just spitting out names right now. Barry?
- 1:27:25Not Barry. There's a red team again. Why, they
- 1:27:28have red in there. Barely, but I mean. That's
- 1:27:31why I threw them out there. Their dark jerseys
- 1:27:33are red, pretty much. Ottawa. Not Sioux. No.
- 1:27:42Let's go off. 2014 go off and then obviously
- 1:27:47blues as well. Dave Boland, where did he win?
- 1:27:51Plymouth. One of these times it's gonna be fucking
- 1:27:56Plymouth. I'll tell you right now I'll give you
- 1:27:58that none of them are Plymouth. Oh. That's disappointing.
- 1:28:13He was London in 05, and then Chicago in 10 and
- 1:28:1713. It's kind of funny how we both did Stanley
- 1:28:22Cup champions for our things. Great minds think
- 1:28:26alike, and unfortunately we do not have great
- 1:28:28minds. Jordan Stahl, where did he win? He didn't
- 1:28:34play for North Bay. I know him and... Peterborough.
- 1:28:432006 where did Corey Perry win London and Anaheim
- 1:28:49two years apart. Yeah, 2005 in London and then
- 1:28:52oh seven and he was a rookie win They won with
- 1:28:56the Ducks Anthony Sorelli For all together Yeah,
- 1:29:07he did back -to -back in the O and he did back
- 1:29:08-to -back in the N. Oh no, he did 15 Oshawa and
- 1:29:10then 17 Erie. Oh, so. I was thinking 16. And
- 1:29:14then Eric Cernak, where did he win? Um, Erie.
- 1:29:17Erie and then Tim. Damn, I won't piss about that
- 1:29:22first one, man. I should have put Alex Lyon for
- 1:29:25the end. I would have given away if I would have
- 1:29:27saved him for the end. Do you think he would
- 1:29:28have got it? It would have been tough, for sure.
- 1:29:32It would have been really tough. Damn, dude.
- 1:29:36Oh, that's depressing. All right, I think there's
- 1:29:40one last thing we wanted to add, or Collins,
- 1:29:42that you did, or no. I just know, as we're within
- 1:29:49any game at this point on with OV. Oh, yeah.
- 1:29:53Snap down. Snap down to seven? Seven, OV John.
- 1:29:56Snap down to any day now. And this is actually
- 1:29:58something that I brought up to Colin, surely
- 1:30:00after I got here. We could end up witnessing
- 1:30:02history on Thursday, depending on the game. See
- 1:30:05Crosby now sits two points shy of reaching at
- 1:30:09least a point per game in each of his first 20
- 1:30:12seasons in the NHL. So don't want to vote against
- 1:30:16Crosby. Let's just hope he doesn't get more than
- 1:30:17two points on Tuesday against, um, well, Tampa,
- 1:30:22I think it was. Yeah, let's just hope he doesn't
- 1:30:27get more than two points against Tampa on Tuesday.
- 1:30:30See, he gets one and all he needs is one point
- 1:30:32against Buffalo. Again, we go to on Thursday.
- 1:30:35We can witness history. For our boy, Sid, the
- 1:30:38middle -aged man Crosby. I think that's who I'll
- 1:30:40probably be wearing to the Thursday. I think
- 1:30:42I'm going to wear my reverse red show of Crosby.
- 1:30:46If we're all wearing the Crosby's, I guess I
- 1:30:48can wear that one. I think we've all got to wear
- 1:30:49Sid. If you have a chance to wear it to witness
- 1:30:51history, I think we've all got to rock our Sid's.
- 1:30:54I think the middle -aged man Crosby. Don't call
- 1:30:58him old though, because he'll correct you. I
- 1:31:00was saying, kind of brought it up. I brought
- 1:31:02it up to call actually yesterday at the game.
- 1:31:07It's kind of crazy I think because almost a year
- 1:31:10ago him and I went up and his brother went up
- 1:31:12to the Sabres Caps game. And obviously I had
- 1:31:19mentioned at that game like we've now witnessed
- 1:31:22Ovi and Crosby who are our generation of our
- 1:31:26like our top generation of players like live
- 1:31:29finally. But it's crazy, I think almost a year
- 1:31:34later, he's on the verge of breaking a record
- 1:31:40in that. So I think that's kind of cool to think
- 1:31:44about. And another thing just to kind of bring
- 1:31:48attention to and just show just how good the
- 1:31:52hockey community is. That thing with Brendan
- 1:31:54Gallagher in the Hockey Fights Cancer Jersey
- 1:31:56or whatever, I think he scored a goal the night
- 1:31:59after. His mother's passing, I believe, who she
- 1:32:03suffered from, I think it was like stage four
- 1:32:04liver cancer. And then a fan reached out to him
- 1:32:08and said, hey, I have your hockey fights cancer
- 1:32:11jersey from the warmups in 2022. I want to make
- 1:32:14sure you get it. And he tweeted back to her saying
- 1:32:18that is incredibly kind of you, thoughtful and
- 1:32:20really appreciated. How about we do a jersey
- 1:32:22swap on April 16th? So I'll meet you at center
- 1:32:25ice on April 16th. Bring that jersey. I'll give
- 1:32:28you something greater in return. Yeah, which
- 1:32:30is... I mean, it's unbelievable. It shows how
- 1:32:34this hockey community is, man. Listen, I fucking
- 1:32:36hate Brendan Galker. I do. I hate him on the
- 1:32:39ice. He's a pest, he's a troll, whatever you
- 1:32:41want to call him. But, honestly, that's something
- 1:32:43that's... it's class act. Like, every hockey
- 1:32:46player should take notes. I know, you see the
- 1:32:49weird goaltenders from the past, you know, that
- 1:32:51Flurry's done on multiple teams, Carey Price
- 1:32:53has done on multiple teams. I think... he only
- 1:32:57brisk all of that in his days when he would take
- 1:32:59selfies with... with kids when he's serving us
- 1:33:01back in both in Philly and in Arizona. Just take
- 1:33:05it to where it's always, it's only a game. It's,
- 1:33:07you know. Well, good to be mad. Exactly good.
- 1:33:11So. That was just something I wanted to bring
- 1:33:14attention to because it's just a class act. On
- 1:33:16both ends, honestly. That's why I love the hockey
- 1:33:19community so much, like. I think we might hate
- 1:33:23each other while our team is playing. We might
- 1:33:25chirp each other and confront each other. But.
- 1:33:28And at the end, you know, it's like, oh yeah,
- 1:33:30let's just come together. It's hockey. Hockey's
- 1:33:32hockey. The thing that's one thing we can all
- 1:33:34agree on is like hockey is what can bring people
- 1:33:37together now. Except if you're the Londonites.
- 1:33:40Dan, I fucking hate you guys. Everybody else
- 1:33:44is fine. Just not the Londonites. Don't drink
- 1:33:47and drive, kids. Pour one out for you, Cam. Anyways.
- 1:33:55Oh, actually, now that we're on the topic, the
- 1:33:58thing I was gonna tell you later about, I'm just
- 1:33:59gonna tell you now. I took a screenshot of it
- 1:34:02so I didn't lose it. Let me just pull it out.
- 1:34:06So this is on the Uncensored page, the Otters
- 1:34:10Uncensored page. Dun and fans were crashing out
- 1:34:15because we were booed number 17. Get me out.
- 1:34:19And then... Someone said, hand the keys to the
- 1:34:24city, just not to the car. The same guy who posted
- 1:34:35out of the non -censor commented that. And honestly,
- 1:34:38like, I don't know. Let me see who was it. It
- 1:34:41said Ben Marjon guy. I don't know where he's
- 1:34:45at. Well, he's... I think it's a troll account
- 1:34:48from what I've heard. It's a troll account, so
- 1:34:50it might not be his real name. I don't know.
- 1:34:52It seems like a troll account, but I don't know,
- 1:34:54whatever. He said it's a Hannah McKeese of a
- 1:34:57city. Yeah, I know a guy who sits down and is
- 1:35:01like the lowest. Like, he commented first. I
- 1:35:04know, I like him. And apparently he said, you
- 1:35:09know, was it a DUI in the London after the game?
- 1:35:12And that's very great to comment. Yeah, someone
- 1:35:14just handed the keys to the city, just not to
- 1:35:16the car. And honestly, that is the best fucking
- 1:35:21thing ever. I hope you know. That's good. That's
- 1:35:25funny. That's fucking funny. I love hockey fans.
- 1:35:28I love your fans. Like, we might be grumpy and
- 1:35:32we might be bitchy sometimes. David, we're gonna
- 1:35:34have fun. That's funny. Our team sucks sometimes,
- 1:35:38like last night. Our team sucks, but we're gonna
