- 1:49Speaker 9: Look me.
- 1:55Speaker 10: Come come out, you think, huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 10: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 10: me now, one and only. It is Steve Harvey. Yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 10: I got a radio show. Okay, this is a timely
- 2:19Speaker 10: for everybody.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 2:24Speaker 10: I want to offer you all some encouragement because everybody needed.
- 2:33Speaker 10: Let me tell you something. You strike out on your goals,
- 2:36Speaker 10: you strike out on your aspirations, and.
- 2:40Speaker 3: So you strike out, as it happens to all of us.
- 2:45Speaker 10: Here it comes life. Life just hits one of them
- 2:51Speaker 10: bad notes, as it always does, as it always does
- 2:56Speaker 10: for all of us, for everybody. Now, when those bad
- 3:03Speaker 10: notes happen, when the haters come out of nowhere, when
- 3:07Speaker 10: the setback comes up, When when the eyut of nowhere appears,
- 3:12Speaker 10: when now I didn't see that coming comes, Here's here's
- 3:17Speaker 10: what you have to do. Here is the thing that
- 3:21Speaker 10: I have been teaching myself for years that I used
- 3:27Speaker 10: to not always understand, so I'm trying to give it
- 3:30Speaker 10: to you. You have to be encouraged anyway. Now that's difficult, Okay, Steve,
- 3:37Speaker 10: what you're talking about? You just told me all this
- 3:40Speaker 10: discouraging stuff that can happen, and you said you got
- 3:43Speaker 10: to be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man, you have to because
- 3:51Speaker 10: what's happening to you right now, the thing that you're
- 3:54Speaker 10: going through right now, the thing that everybody's going through
- 3:58Speaker 10: right now.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Ain't nobody else move sailing?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Man.
- 4:01Speaker 10: Everybody got something and if they if they don't smooth sailing,
- 4:05Speaker 10: just know this is coming. There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody.
- 4:09Speaker 10: It's just that this is life. This is how it
- 4:12Speaker 10: happens everybody, So please stop stop getting on the old
- 4:15Speaker 10: woe is Me bandwagon, the old lord?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Why me, old lord?
- 4:19Speaker 10: Something always happened to me, something always happens to everybody.
- 4:26Speaker 2: But here's what you got to do. When you get
- 4:28Speaker 2: in moments like this, you got to be encouraged.
- 4:31Speaker 10: You got to remember in those times, in those times
- 4:36Speaker 10: when it's going wrong, you got to remember all that
- 4:40Speaker 10: you've been through.
- 4:42Speaker 2: You got to remember all that you've come through.
- 4:47Speaker 10: You have to remember those other times when you felt
- 4:51Speaker 10: like this, and somehow unexplainably you don't even really stop
- 4:56Speaker 10: to say nothing about it.
- 4:57Speaker 2: It just changed for you.
- 5:00Speaker 10: And the problem that was is no more. And the
- 5:04Speaker 10: situation that seems so insurmountable, you got over it. You
- 5:09Speaker 10: got around it, You got over it. Sometimes you just
- 5:14Speaker 10: got to slide right under it. Sometimes you got to
- 5:19Speaker 10: plow through it. But in those times when it's discouraging
- 5:25Speaker 10: for you, when you feel like giving up, those are
- 5:29Speaker 10: the test. Those are the moments that will determine whether
- 5:36Speaker 10: we make it or not. I'll tell you one thing
- 5:39Speaker 10: for sure. If you give up in these moments, right
- 5:42Speaker 10: here here is a for show, You'll never make it.
- 5:46Speaker 10: That's unquestionably the deal. If you give up in these
- 5:52Speaker 10: dark times, if you give up in these what you
- 5:56Speaker 10: think is insurmountable moments, if you turn back now here
- 6:02Speaker 10: is the one thousand percent for shore. You ain't gonna
- 6:05Speaker 10: make it. But there is a bright side to this situation.
- 6:11Speaker 10: If you keep your head down, if you keep forging,
- 6:16Speaker 10: if you keep pressing on. Sometimes if you just stand
- 6:19Speaker 10: there and sometimes get knocked to your knees.
- 6:22Speaker 2: But if you stay in that place.
- 6:25Speaker 10: If you just stay there and ride the storm out,
- 6:28Speaker 10: my head is bloodied but unbowed. If you can just
- 6:33Speaker 10: stay there, if you consider in that moment and ride
- 6:42Speaker 10: it out, you will win. You will pass the test,
- 6:47Speaker 10: and you will get to move on to the next level.
- 6:51Speaker 10: But there is no next level without a test. You
- 6:55Speaker 10: can't get to grade six without passing grade five. You
- 6:59Speaker 10: can ain't be a senior without first being a junior.
- 7:04Speaker 10: You can't graduate without fulfilling the hours and requirements.
- 7:09Speaker 2: You see, I don't care what you do in life.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Look at it, it's all set up on levels.
- 7:16Speaker 10: Well, you've got to accomplish the thing before in order
- 7:19Speaker 10: to get to the next level. And when you've made
- 7:22Speaker 10: those level accomplishments, you get to graduate. Now you can
- 7:25Speaker 10: go on and get a master's and a PhD. You
- 7:28Speaker 10: can go on and become rich. You can go become wealthy,
- 7:31Speaker 10: or you can go or you can go somewhere and
- 7:33Speaker 10: think yourself in another set of circumstances. But you got
- 7:36Speaker 10: to go through something to get to something that ain't
- 7:39Speaker 10: nothing free. So you can stop that notion about being successful,
- 7:43Speaker 10: that is easy. Come on, man, if it was easy,
- 7:46Speaker 10: what we don't what we're talking about.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It is not easy. Stop thinking it is. It is difficult.
- 7:55Speaker 10: But I'll tell you what's even more difficult than becoming successful.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You want to know what that is? Try not being
- 8:02Speaker 2: successful your whole life. That's hard.
- 8:06Speaker 10: You are listening to a person who has done them
- 8:10Speaker 10: both been successful and really really been not successful. And
- 8:17Speaker 10: I got news for you. Both of them hard. But
- 8:21Speaker 10: I would rather deal with what it is to be something,
- 8:24Speaker 10: to make something out of myself, to force myself to
- 8:28Speaker 10: go to work when I don't feel like it. This
- 8:30Speaker 10: morning was a rough get up for me, but I
- 8:33Speaker 10: got up and I said thank you anyway, never give up.
- 8:37Speaker 10: And I dot of watch this dude to head the
- 8:38Speaker 10: mess around and got close to me because he just
- 8:41Speaker 10: never gave up.
- 8:43Speaker 2: You can never ever give up. Never. It's not an option.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Giving up cannot be an option for you. You cannot
- 8:52Speaker 2: do that. It's out of the question.
- 8:55Speaker 10: It's inconceivable in your mind to quit, because to quit,
- 8:59Speaker 10: it's to what what you get when you quit nothing?
- 9:04Speaker 10: That is a reward for those who hang in there,
- 9:08Speaker 10: who never give up, who forged through, who see it
- 9:11Speaker 10: through who get knocked down and get back up? Who
- 9:14Speaker 10: gets trample but somehow gathers themselves and get back to
- 9:17Speaker 10: your needs. But stay in that place, man, don't ever
- 9:21Speaker 10: give up. Don't let go be encouraged. Think of all
- 9:25Speaker 10: you've been through, Think of all you come through. Think
- 9:27Speaker 10: of all He's done for you. Think of all the
- 9:29Speaker 10: times you thought you wasn't gonna make it, but somehow,
- 9:32Speaker 10: without you ever even saying thank you, he got through.
- 9:35Speaker 2: He got you through it.
- 9:36Speaker 10: Anyway. That's that thing called grace. Now we kind of
- 9:39Speaker 10: need that in our life. All will all I need
- 9:42Speaker 10: is a little more grace. You can't give God no
- 9:46Speaker 10: money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free. It's available
- 9:50Speaker 10: to everybody. But you can't get none if you quit.
- 9:53Speaker 10: Don't give up. I'll just tell you that flat out.
- 9:55Speaker 10: Don't ever give up.

- 15:42Speaker 15: down that street. You ain't had to come down there.
- 15:44Speaker 2: You've been on Clayton Street today. Now that part I

- 15:48Speaker 15: And what you got the wrong driver.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Dude, No no, no, no, no no no, I got
- 15:52Speaker 6: the right driver. And what I do know is you

- 15:57Speaker 15: And you know what you gonna pay for this, man,
- 16:00Speaker 15: I ain't saying for a muddle tree, that tree and kidding,
- 16:03Speaker 15: I know.
- 16:03Speaker 2: You ain't talking about my mama tree.
- 16:05Speaker 15: Well, guess what, take your tree and take your mama
- 16:10Speaker 15: and both of y'all go out there and playing another street.
- 16:12Speaker 6: Then we ain't playing no more tree. That tree been
- 16:15Speaker 6: in our family for years. You're gonna mess around and
- 16:17Speaker 6: get your swoop behind this tree.
- 16:19Speaker 15: Bring it on, then bring your dong and bring the
- 16:22Speaker 15: tree which.
- 16:23Speaker 2: You're gonna make me whoop? What a bridge off that tree?
- 16:26Speaker 15: Well, I tell you what if you that bad, then
- 16:29Speaker 15: I tell you what if I was on Clayton Street today,
- 16:32Speaker 15: I meet on Clayton Street with the tree.
- 16:34Speaker 6: You come on over here to Clayton right now, because
- 16:37Speaker 6: I'm right out here in the street on the corner's phone.
- 16:40Speaker 6: You come on outside. My mama sitting up in there
- 16:42Speaker 6: crying behind this tree because you.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Done toe the limbs off of me and we got
- 16:45Speaker 2: to cut it down a because you done messed it up.
- 16:47Speaker 15: Don't give her napping in this yellow wife. But mind then,
- 16:51Speaker 15: I ain't been down no tree.
- 16:53Speaker 6: I know you ain't sitting here talking about my mama.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Now see you tripping now, dog and tripping dog you already.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Look man, I grew up with this tree in my
- 17:02Speaker 6: front yard. I grew up with this tree. Now you
- 17:05Speaker 6: got the nerve to drive through here and driving too fast,
- 17:07Speaker 6: because if you would have drove so, you wouldn't have
- 17:09Speaker 6: been hitting all them lives like that y'all be doing
- 17:12Speaker 6: running down here too fast, dough.
- 17:13Speaker 15: Here man, look here, I told you once. Man, I
- 17:16Speaker 15: ain't been down on Clayton Street. Now, like I told you,
- 17:19Speaker 15: if you want to meet me on Clayton Street, will
- 17:22Speaker 15: all right now, I'm sorry about your mom trees, but hell,
- 17:25Speaker 15: there ain't nothing I can do about it because I
- 17:26Speaker 15: ain't been down on Clayton Street.
- 17:28Speaker 6: It's one thing you can do about it. You can
- 17:30Speaker 6: pay for it. And that's what you're gonna do.
- 17:32Speaker 15: Now.
- 17:32Speaker 2: You're gonna either give me some money.
- 17:34Speaker 6: I'm gonna get it at you. But you you gonna
- 17:36Speaker 6: you coming over here. Matter of fact, you gonna come
- 17:39Speaker 6: over here now that big truck around and bring your butt.
- 17:42Speaker 2: On over here right now.
- 17:44Speaker 15: Well, I might well going to turn it around because
- 17:46Speaker 15: I ain't paying for no street right now.
- 17:49Speaker 6: That's fine, that's fine, But I tell you when you
- 17:51Speaker 6: get here, my cousin here and all my uncles is
- 17:54Speaker 6: here sitting up here looking at that. What you done
- 17:56Speaker 6: done in this tree?
- 17:57Speaker 2: So bring yo own?
- 17:59Speaker 15: Yeah, well look at her. Take that tree and stuve
- 18:03Speaker 15: it up. You out your yo, all right. I ain't
- 18:06Speaker 15: been a word with you in this tree no more
- 18:08Speaker 15: because I done told you one. Let me this tree.
- 18:11Speaker 6: You come on right now, because you don't know what

- 45:00Speaker 8: Please this uh this is my name is Joseph Work
- 45:05Speaker 8: Open student affairs. How you doing today?
- 45:07Speaker 5: I'm good?
- 45:08Speaker 8: How are you? I'm good. Listen, you're supposed to be.
- 45:13Speaker 8: This is your fifth year here at the university. You're
- 45:15Speaker 8: graduating and in the next seven eight days? Am I right? Yes?
- 45:20Speaker 5: There have you out of this joint?
- 45:22Speaker 8: Okay, listen, I'm giving you a call. We got a
- 45:25Speaker 8: bit of a problem here that we want to try
- 45:28Speaker 8: and discuss with you, and maybe we can get you
- 45:30Speaker 8: over at Student Affairs and come in and have a
- 45:32Speaker 8: meeting with us. But we wanted to bring it to
- 45:33Speaker 8: your attention. Now. You took a one of your last
- 45:37Speaker 8: subjects was English, uh, and you had an English exam
- 45:41Speaker 8: with a. You guys are writing an essay?
- 45:44Speaker 6: Am?
- 45:44Speaker 8: I am?
- 45:44Speaker 15: I am?
- 45:45Speaker 8: I correct about that? Yeah?
- 45:47Speaker 9: Yeah, that's true.
- 45:48Speaker 8: Okay, it seems that we got some problems here that
- 45:51Speaker 8: the professor there is actually insinuating that you may have
- 45:54Speaker 8: cheated on this on this essay, that you've actually read cheated. No,
- 46:01Speaker 8: I mean from what from what he's telling us here
- 46:04Speaker 8: at Student Affairs is that you may have plagiarized some
- 46:07Speaker 8: things that, uh, that were in your essay.
- 46:10Speaker 9: Dude, No, I didn't.
- 46:11Speaker 5: I didn't plagiarize nothing that was in the essay. Everything
- 46:14Speaker 5: is documented like it should be. So I don't know
- 46:16Speaker 5: what you're talking about, especially cheating on no exam or
- 46:19Speaker 5: no paper nothing like that. You must got be mixed
- 46:20Speaker 5: up to somebody else.
- 46:21Speaker 8: No, no, no, not at all. You're actually mister Travan correct.
- 46:25Speaker 5: I mean, that's me, but I didn't cheat on no exams,
- 46:27Speaker 5: on no papers for that matter.
- 46:29Speaker 8: Okay, well, let me let me try to bring you
- 46:31Speaker 8: up to speed here, servann. What we're gonna need is,
- 46:33Speaker 8: we're gonna need you to actually come in and talk
- 46:36Speaker 8: to us over here at student affairs so we can
- 46:38Speaker 8: try to get this thing rectified. But I will let
- 46:40Speaker 8: you know, it's gonna take a few more days longer
- 46:43Speaker 8: than graduation. So as of right now, you're actually not
- 46:47Speaker 8: gonna be walking and graduating with the rest of the students.
- 46:52Speaker 5: Man, you got me messed up.
- 46:54Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 46:54Speaker 9: I'm not gonna be walking.
- 46:55Speaker 8: Well until we get this situation rectified here. You're not
- 46:59Speaker 8: gonna be graduating with the rest of the students now.
- 47:02Speaker 5: And I don't know what y'all gotta do, but y'all
- 47:04Speaker 5: need to figure it out and find out what the
- 47:05Speaker 5: problem is.
- 47:06Speaker 9: Man, I ain't a cheat on no exams.
- 47:07Speaker 5: Hell you're talking about dude. My family is coming down
- 47:10Speaker 5: here and you're talking about seen it on an English exam.
- 47:12Speaker 5: They'll I look like she's on an example and I'm
- 47:14Speaker 5: getting ready to graduate.
- 47:15Speaker 8: Man.
- 47:16Speaker 9: Now, y'all need to fix it like right now, like today,
- 47:18Speaker 9: while we're on the phone.
- 47:19Speaker 8: We can't do that. It's a little it's a sensitive subject,
- 47:21Speaker 8: and like I said, it seems like it's plagiarism. I mean,
- 47:24Speaker 8: you know, if we can get you to actually come
- 47:26Speaker 8: over to student affairs next Wednesday?
- 47:29Speaker 5: Man, you got me?
- 47:30Speaker 9: So what you mean next Wednesday?
- 47:32Speaker 5: Dude? I'm graduating in a few days. Since you're talking
- 47:34Speaker 5: about next wednesday? Man, why my professor didn't give me
- 47:37Speaker 5: a call?
- 47:38Speaker 8: Why you calling me sir? This is not something that
- 47:41Speaker 8: professors actually take care of. This is a student affairs
- 47:43Speaker 8: situation now, and it's a very sensitive situation. Now. What
- 47:46Speaker 8: we want to do is try to get this thing
- 47:48Speaker 8: taken care of. And if you if what you're saying
- 47:51Speaker 8: is actually true, then you'll probably graduate in August. Still
- 47:56Speaker 8: got me?
- 47:56Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now, this is a you got me.
- 48:00Speaker 16: I'm guess fifth.

- 48:06Speaker 5: you're talking about August.
- 48:09Speaker 8: Ain't even.
- 48:12Speaker 15: You aren't even telling to hear what you got to say.
- 48:13Speaker 5: Man, My family is coming down here from everywhere to
- 48:16Speaker 5: see me graduating. I'm the first fale to graduate from
- 48:19Speaker 5: my family.
- 48:19Speaker 16: You're talking about some tut my cheating on the paper,
- 48:22Speaker 16: A paper note, a paper?
- 48:25Speaker 9: Can you coming, man?
- 48:26Speaker 5: Am, I'm gonna work two or three jobs to see
- 48:28Speaker 5: me to this school and now I'm come getting ready
- 48:30Speaker 5: to graduate and you're talking about I got to wait
- 48:32Speaker 5: until August to graduate. Man, Hell no, I'm on my
- 48:36Speaker 5: way to the office right now. And you can tell
- 48:37Speaker 5: whoever the professor is that I'm on my way and
- 48:40Speaker 5: he needs to be there too.
- 48:41Speaker 8: Sure, I can really tell you that we try and
- 48:43Speaker 8: get this thing rectified in earlier the next Wednesday.
- 48:46Speaker 5: Man, what's your name again?
- 48:47Speaker 9: And where's where is your office?
- 48:49Speaker 8: I'm in suiting affairs. I'm Joseph.

- 49:05Speaker 8: of plagiarism?

- 53:37Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 53:37Speaker 13: Nephew's subject, I caught her.
- 53:39Speaker 1: In the act and she lied. Here, Stephen Shirley, I
- 53:42Speaker 1: am a thirty two year old married woman, And if
- 53:44Speaker 1: you come around me cheating and lying, I'm telling it.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I expect my girlfriends to do the same thing. And
- 53:49Speaker 1: there's no need for us to hang out, or there's
- 53:52Speaker 1: no need for us to hang out. My husband's best
- 53:54Speaker 1: friend is on the verge of divorce, and he's confided
- 53:57Speaker 1: in my husband and I about how his wife is
- 54:00Speaker 1: for the streets and she comes in late and ignores
- 54:03Speaker 1: his phone calls. She and I are not the best
- 54:06Speaker 1: of friends because she's sneaky. I went out to run
- 54:09Speaker 1: a few errands Saturday. I saw the best friend's wife's
- 54:12Speaker 1: car parked in the Walmart lot and I rode past
- 54:15Speaker 1: the driver's side and it looked like a man was
- 54:18Speaker 1: in the driver's seat. I knew it was her personalized tag,
- 54:22Speaker 1: so I called her. Her head popped up from the
- 54:24Speaker 1: passenger side of the car and she looked at her phone.
- 54:28Speaker 1: I couldn't tell who was in the driver's seat of
- 54:30Speaker 1: her car that her husband just bought for her. She
- 54:34Speaker 1: didn't addswer the phone, so I walked over to the
- 54:36Speaker 1: car to see if she was okay. She asked why
- 54:39Speaker 1: was I walking up on her like that? And I
- 54:42Speaker 1: asked her who the guy was. He kept on adjusting
- 54:45Speaker 1: his pants and he didn't look at me. She said
- 54:47Speaker 1: she was about to run in and shop, but her
- 54:49Speaker 1: cousin had to charge his phone first. I told her
- 54:52Speaker 1: it was good to see her, and I rushed back
- 54:54Speaker 1: to my car so I could call my husband and
- 54:57Speaker 1: spill this tea. My husband swore he wouldn't say anything
- 55:01Speaker 1: to his best friend until I did some more research.
- 55:04Speaker 1: But he did, and not even two hours later, the
- 55:07Speaker 1: wife called me, yelling and cursing me out. I told
- 55:10Speaker 1: her I saw what I saw, point blank period. What
- 55:14Speaker 1: does she expect me to do? And why is she
- 55:16Speaker 1: upset with me? Please?
- 55:18Speaker 2: Help?
- 55:19Speaker 13: Okay, for real? For ill you cannot be serious?
- 55:23Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 55:24Speaker 13: Why is she upset with you? Where shall I begin?
- 55:29Speaker 1: She's upset with you for calling her. She's upset with
- 55:32Speaker 1: you for walking up on her in the car. She's
- 55:35Speaker 1: upset for you, with you for telling your husband. Okay,
- 55:38Speaker 1: that's why she's upset with you, And because you told
- 55:41Speaker 1: your husband and your husband told.
- 55:43Speaker 13: His best friend, which is her husband.
- 55:45Speaker 1: She's upset with you because you're a busybody, because you're messy,
- 55:48Speaker 1: and because you need to stay out of people's business.
- 55:51Speaker 13: That's why she's upset with you.
- 55:53Speaker 1: What about that? Don't you get who appointed you the
- 55:56Speaker 1: one to tell if people are cheating in mine, like
- 55:59Speaker 1: you said in the first line of your letter, and
- 56:01Speaker 1: if you come around me cheating and lying I'm telling it. Okay, okay,
- 56:05Speaker 1: who pointed you that job? It might be or it
- 56:09Speaker 1: is wrong morally.
- 56:10Speaker 13: We know that what they're doing, but it's not your business.
- 56:13Speaker 1: To judge what they're doing. Leave these people alone and
- 56:16Speaker 1: worry about your own house. Lady, Tommy, I am.
- 56:20Speaker 6: So sick of people that cannot mind their own business.
- 56:23Speaker 6: It gets on my nerve you have.
- 56:26Speaker 8: Now.
- 56:26Speaker 6: What amazes me about the beginning of this letter is
- 56:29Speaker 6: he's getting ready. They're going through a divorce, right right,
- 56:33Speaker 6: so we already through with each other.
- 56:34Speaker 2: It's a wrap, it's over. So it doesn't matter what
- 56:37Speaker 2: this lady is doing or not doing.
- 56:39Speaker 6: But why are you you feeling like you need to
- 56:43Speaker 6: be rolling up And you cannot roll up on people
- 56:46Speaker 6: in the Walmart parking lot while they neckt and you
- 56:48Speaker 6: can't do that.
- 56:49Speaker 2: You don't roll up on people in Walmart parking lot.
- 56:52Speaker 6: While they listen. If you don't see no blue vests,
- 56:54Speaker 6: get back, Get back. Okay, you don't see no mask,
- 56:59Speaker 6: is no blue You get your behind back if you
- 57:02Speaker 6: see if you look in through a car, you don't
- 57:03Speaker 6: see no heads, and then heads pop up. Hey, that's
- 57:06Speaker 6: guess what they doing their thing? You got to keep
- 57:08Speaker 6: it moving. But now you know what you messy? You
- 57:11Speaker 6: want to go tend ittive to your husband. Now your
- 57:13Speaker 6: husband gonna go tell it to his best friend. Now
- 57:15Speaker 6: his best friend gonna come back and tell the wife
- 57:18Speaker 6: that's soon to be his ex wife that, Oh, by
- 57:20Speaker 6: the way, we done caught you doing this, this, this,
- 57:22Speaker 6: and that.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Why are you stirring up drama? Lady? Why sit your
- 57:28Speaker 2: butt down? Everyone has seen you.
- 57:30Speaker 6: Okay, sit your behind down and pay attention to your marriage.
- 57:34Speaker 2: I said, if.
- 57:34Speaker 6: Everybody focus on what's just theirs. You know how much,
- 57:37Speaker 6: you know how much pleasant life will be if you
- 57:39Speaker 6: just focus on just your stuff, not just run around. Oh,
- 57:42Speaker 6: let me tell you what she did. Let me tell
- 57:43Speaker 6: you what he doing. Let me tell you who else
- 57:45Speaker 6: getting together. Focus on yours, not everybody else's. You are
- 57:50Speaker 6: not ready to love either.
- 57:52Speaker 2: You know that you are not.
- 57:55Speaker 11: You know it when you ain't ready, don't nobody like
- 58:01Speaker 11: a tattle tale. Don't nobody like a tattle tale.
- 58:06Speaker 5: You know what? I this all you do?
- 58:08Speaker 11: She been doing this so long, she been like when
- 58:11Speaker 11: she go up to the car, you look in there
- 58:13Speaker 11: and the first thing you say is who's the guy.
- 58:16Speaker 11: Because you need something to go tell. That's it.
- 58:19Speaker 3: You aren't concerned about the woman. She could have been abducted.
- 58:22Speaker 3: You ain't even ask about that. That's no concern at that.
- 58:26Speaker 3: You just needed something to go tell.
- 58:28Speaker 5: That's it.
- 58:29Speaker 1: You know what tatletales do?
- 58:30Speaker 15: Even like?
- 58:31Speaker 3: Don't nobody like telltales because when you come in the room,
- 58:33Speaker 3: you break up gatherings. See don't like to talk when
- 58:36Speaker 3: you come around.
- 58:38Speaker 11: We all in the group right now and in the
- 58:39Speaker 11: twiltale walk up. People just start finding other stuff to
- 58:41Speaker 11: go do because they can't talk about it.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Hey, where y'all going?
- 58:44Speaker 2: Everybody?
- 58:44Speaker 3: We don't want to talk to you.
- 58:48Speaker 11: Cause you tattle tale all the time. You know, I
- 58:51Speaker 11: don't know why you put the line in the letter
- 58:53Speaker 11: talking about I will I'm gonna. I'm gonna expect my
- 58:56Speaker 11: girlfriends to do the same thing for me. You ain't
- 58:59Speaker 11: got no girl because girlfriends do what gossip and they
- 59:02Speaker 11: gotta keep secrets. You can't have secrets and you talk
- 59:06Speaker 11: all the time. Could you like to tattle tale?
- 59:09Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, don't.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Nobody won't you.
- 59:14Speaker 11: I'm telling you right now you can't hold water because
- 59:16Speaker 11: every time you get information, it's burning.
- 59:19Speaker 3: And guess who you go tell?
- 59:21Speaker 1: Your husband, husband, Yeah, what.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Is wrong with this picture? Do you know what that
- 59:25Speaker 3: says about you? When your gossiping buddy is your husband.
- 59:28Speaker 3: He can't hold it either.
- 59:32Speaker 1: She got him green washed.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I ain't gonna tell nobody.
- 59:34Speaker 11: So as she left the room, dog, you wipe out
- 59:36Speaker 11: there in the streets in the park lighter Walmart with
- 59:38Speaker 11: another man in the car.
- 59:38Speaker 3: I'm telling you, right, that's it.
- 59:42Speaker 15: That's it.
- 59:43Speaker 3: My wife can't hold it.
- 59:45Speaker 1: All right, who.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Listen.
- 59:49Speaker 1: We'll have part two of our response coming up to
- 59:52Speaker 1: this strawberry letter today at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:55Speaker 1: The subject I caught her in the act and she lied.
- 59:59Speaker 1: All right, we'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show. All right, guys, we're going to
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: recap this letter. The subject is I caught her in
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the act and she lied. The letter is from a
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: thirty two year old married woman, and she says, right
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: off the bat, right off the bat, if you come
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: around me cheating and lying, I'm telling it. And she
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: expects her girlfriends to do the same, or there's no
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: need for them to hang out.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Okay, what.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Anyway? She says, her husband's best friend is on the
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: verge of getting a divorce. So yeah, so they're in
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the verge of getting a divorce. He confided in her
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: husband that his wife is for the street, so they
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: may as well, you know, get a divorce. The woman
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: who wrote the letter says that she's not friends with
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: this woman because she's sneaky, so she doesn't trust her.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: So she left one day to run some errands, and
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: in the Walmart parking lot, she saw her best friend's
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: husband's wife. She saw her are in the lot and
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I guess the windows were all steindier at whatever she
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: called her. She she tried to get in touch with her.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: The woman didn't answer.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: Uh.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: She she walked up to the car and what were
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: you want?
- 1:01:15Speaker 15: What do you want?
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: So she knew it was a woman's car because she
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: saw the Personal Life tag. A man's head popped up
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: and uh, he never looked at her because he was
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: continually adjusting his pants.
- 1:01:29Speaker 13: And the woman asked her, why are you walking up.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: On me like that? Yes, tommy, but.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: You know what, I've been in a position where I
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: have seen a good friend of mine. I've been in
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: a position where a friend of mine I saw his
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: lady with somebody else.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: And I actually spoke to her. I had some words
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: for and and I was done with it. I didn't
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: go tell him nothing. I just had some words on
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: it and say, hey, you got to you got to
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: get yourself together what you're doing. I just checked her
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: checked out a very polite weight. And then you know,
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: and I said, hey, don't. I don't want to see
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: this again. I never would and told him anything ever,
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: never ever, And when I see them to this day,
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: men have never discussed it again. I ain't never seen
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: her out doing nothing crazy again.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: But you said what you said at that moment.
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: What I said only because I saw her and she
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: saw me, and I'm like, yo, yoh, hey, let me
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: let you for a minute.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: But I would never go back to my boy and
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: say something.
- 1:02:24Speaker 17: I would never do that now, even even if, like
- 1:02:28Speaker 17: in this situation they're getting ready to get a divorce.
- 1:02:31Speaker 13: That's just not what you do.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: It's not your business, mind your own house.
- 1:02:35Speaker 13: This is not true.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: You're walking all up on the car. But I just
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: want to know who who Who named her the watchdog?
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: These people, cheating and lying.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Cattle tales name their own self.
- 1:02:52Speaker 13: They elect themselves.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: It was no votes in this.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Yeah, she said she she couldn't wait to get home
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: so she could spill this tea to her her husband,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and her husband promised her that he wouldn't tell. So
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: he's cheating and lying because he lied to you by
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: saying he wouldn't tell, and he tells. Did you check him?
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: No?
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Both the same person.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: She married herself know who she married.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: They both tell.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: That's why they get along.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Yes, they both.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Yeah, man, some ladies.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: Do y'all have girlfriends that tell everything?
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, ye stay on my things? Is though?
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Are y'all close with that person?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Well, I'm close enough to know that I will never
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: tell her any of my business, close enough to keep
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: him to a business.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Yes, that's all you need to know. Now, your girlfriend
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: a rock with you, like Tori, that's different. That's my sister.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: She's his friend.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: But that's my sister.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Don't you have to tell her everything. I can tell
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: my best friend everything, and I know that it's not
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: going anywhere. You know, it's not going anywhere, even to
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: her husband. You know, she's we have that kind of relationship. Yeah,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you're not doing that? Yes, And I'm not in her
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: business like that. I don't care. It's not my business.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I care about you, how you doing and all that,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: but I'm not in your business. I'm just not in that.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I'm not in that. If you guys, if it looks

- 1:19:42Speaker 1: north of Dallas. Seven victims are being treated at trauma facilities.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: The gunman, who authorities believe was acting alone, was killed
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: by an Allen police officer who was on an unrelated
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: call at the outlet mall. Thank god he was there.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: There was this search for a second gunman, according to
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: the source to a source, but police now say they
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: believe the shooter acted alone. Video from the scene showed
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: hundreds of shoppers exiting the area, many holding their hands up.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Witnesses reported seeing the gunman, who was dressed in all
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: black and wearing like several extra magazines attached to chest gear.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: The gunman was armed with an AR fifteen style weapon.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: A Medical City Healthcare spokesperson reported that the hospital provided
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: trauma care to shooting victims ranging in age from five
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: years old to sixty one years old.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: You know, and you know I'm in Dallas, all right,
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: I'm filming. Yeah, I'm filming here, so ready.
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Saturday was crazy, man, you know, cuse plus
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: we got coverage, news coverage. But you know, there's producers
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: for the show. They're out running all over the place.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: They're picking up things because beginning ready to dodge the
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: next sea. And I was just worried about all of them.
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: I was like, man, where are you guys, because I
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: mean that's a that's a place they would go to
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: pick up things that we need for the show.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: The strip.
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: Wow, it's so sad.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: This is America and it seems like we you don't
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: know what to do. You can't do anything nowhere safe.
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: It's like it happened in Atlanta where you know, at
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: a medical center.
- 1:21:26Speaker 13: Yeah, so yeah, and like a doctor the outlet, mall,
- 1:21:33Speaker 13: church school.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I mean, come on, and.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: Limits nothing, nothing is off limits.
- 1:21:41Speaker 11: He's so crazy because my friend he lives in Dallas.
- 1:21:43Speaker 11: He was he lives out there about the mall where
- 1:21:45Speaker 11: they had shooting, and Saturday he was supposed to take
- 1:21:48Speaker 11: his sons to the mall, but he didn't. But he
- 1:21:52Speaker 11: called me yesterday and man, for the first time I
- 1:21:54Speaker 11: heard this man say, man, I'm concerned about my children,
- 1:21:57Speaker 11: concerned about my family because he said they're young kids
- 1:22:02Speaker 11: that you know, they're they're twelve and thirteen and his
- 1:22:06Speaker 11: boys and he said, man, for the first time, we
- 1:22:08Speaker 11: were actually.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: Were gonna be in this mall, and the realization of
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: the shooting just hid him.
- 1:22:15Speaker 13: So it makes your kind of timid to go out.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: You know, after something like this happens, you feel anxious,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: You feel nervous when you do go out. You know,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you're looking around, you're not yourself. You know, it could
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: happen anywhere, you know, and that's that's the scary part
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: of life right now, you know.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: Do you know what what's bad?
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: Surely is every time it happens, people go out and
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: buy more guns because they feel like they need one
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: because of what just happened. Yeah, and they feel like that,
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: So now you got so it just it just you know,
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: the sales of guns just go through the roof because
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: people are like, Okay, now I need to protect myself.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: I need to be ready case.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: This happens or that times.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: And the next thing, you know is the wild wild West.
- 1:22:58Speaker 13: Everybody everybody's arms right.
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: And the problem is they won't do the red flag laws,
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: they won't do things to have a waiting period, mental
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: health background, all of these things that we need to
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: do to slow down a the amount of guns that
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: people can buy, the type of guns that people can buy.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: We keep saying there's not necessary for these all style
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: rifles and these guns, and we keep selling. But these lawmakers,
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: the governor of Texas who loosened up those gun laws.
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: And so here we are again with another mass shooting
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: in Texas. And the first thing, Governor Abbott says, he's
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: offering thoughts and prayers. Here we go with that, But
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: when is it going to be enough. How many people
- 1:23:41Speaker 4: have to die for us to do something in this country?
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: That's the question. How many people have to die? It
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: seems like there's a limitless amount. There is no number,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: There is no answer, because it keeps happening and nothing
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: is done about it. You know, every week now out
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: every two days, every two yeah, every every you know,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: every time we come back on Monday, we have to
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: talk about something like this.
- 1:24:08Speaker 13: But we just left on Thursday and they're talked about
- 1:24:11Speaker 13: it in Atlanta.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: Yes, you can go into a sporting goods store and
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: you can walk out. You can fill out this paperwork
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: they're gonna running through, and in thirty minutes.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: You're gonna walk out with guns and bullets. Just that simple.
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: In the state of Texas that I know about in
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: the State of textis you can walk in in and
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: I promise you, in thirty minutes you're walking out with
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: whatever you chose and whatever immunition you.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: Want it just like that.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: You know, that's why they need go ahead, you know
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 1:24:37Speaker 11: It's sad part about it when you think about these
- 1:24:39Speaker 11: shootings and everything, you start finding out that the value
- 1:24:42Speaker 11: of life keeps going down.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: Yes, you're just not valuing us no more. We just
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: keep caring down.
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: We don't care for a baby, the baby shot, the
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: kids in school, yes care, elderly people at the grocery
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: store in Buffalo, New York.
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: We don't care. It does not matter the value of life.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: You are absolutely right.
- 1:25:07Speaker 17: We it seems like we just don't care to me,
- 1:25:11Speaker 17: and it's not you know, there's so many of us
- 1:25:14Speaker 17: who do care, but it's almost like, you know, we're
- 1:25:17Speaker 17: powerless to do anything.
- 1:25:19Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:25:19Speaker 13: We have to take these concerns to the polls. We
- 1:25:24Speaker 13: always have to vote.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: We always have to know our politician who's for, you know,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: gun legislation, who's not. We need to you know, brush
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: upon that, educate ourselves on that. You know, hopefully something
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: like that will help legislation, but it hasn't so far anyway. Yeah,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: that's true. Surely hope for people that have the same
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: values you that you do exactly. Yeah, all right, guys, all.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: Right, it's time to go into words of my uncle.
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: Talk to God. He would love to hear from you.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: Until then, we talked y'all tomorrow.
