- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, Man on Man on man.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Grateful for it comes with a huge amount of responsibility.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I didn't really know I was gonna have to be
- 2:19Speaker 1: this responsible, you know? Um, can I share something with y'all?
- 2:23Speaker 1: I started out to Finally I had gotten on track
- 2:27Speaker 1: and was able to see a way to even uh
- 2:31Speaker 1: pursue my dream. It has been a long, a long
- 2:35Speaker 1: trip that I've been on, and I've gone through so
- 2:37Speaker 1: many phases of it. It is rewarding along the way
- 2:43Speaker 1: to accomplish your dreams. What I'm saying is this let
- 2:46Speaker 1: me let me put it together, because I got so
- 2:48Speaker 1: much running through my head right now. You know it's
- 2:51Speaker 1: it's one thing to accomplish your dreams, but there's joy
- 2:55Speaker 1: in the process of achieving it. See, some people are
- 3:01Speaker 1: so caught up in the goal, the final goal, that
- 3:06Speaker 1: they find no joy, no enjoyment in the process. If
- 3:12Speaker 1: you have found what it is you want to do
- 3:17Speaker 1: and you strike out on that journey, please understand you
- 3:22Speaker 1: are far more blessed than the average person. Do you
- 3:26Speaker 1: understand that to know what it is you really want
- 3:30Speaker 1: to do, to find your work in life, your purpose,
- 3:35Speaker 1: to find out what direction you want to go in
- 3:39Speaker 1: is such a blessing. The average person, if you sit
- 3:42Speaker 1: down and talk to them, oftentimes don't have their life
- 3:46Speaker 1: on track. And it'd be some people that you're looking
- 3:48Speaker 1: at you think God are going on because of their appearance,
- 3:53Speaker 1: their swagger. Oh they walk like it, they talk like it,
- 3:56Speaker 1: they look like it. But if you sit down and
- 3:58Speaker 1: talk to the average person, the average person man does
- 4:03Speaker 1: not know what their purpose is, has not discovered what
- 4:07Speaker 1: they wanna do, and have no idea how to get there.
- 4:11Speaker 1: If you are on the other side of that if
- 4:14Speaker 1: you understand your purpose, if you have an idea of
- 4:17Speaker 1: what you wanna be, and you are on your way there,
- 4:21Speaker 1: you are truly blessed. And in that blessing, you must
- 4:26Speaker 1: recognize it as a blessing. You must recognize the fact
- 4:31Speaker 1: that you are you are on the right side, and
- 4:36Speaker 1: that there should be a sense of accomplishment and a
- 4:39Speaker 1: feeling of pride in you that you are on track
- 4:42Speaker 1: to accomplish your goal. See what used to happen was
- 4:46Speaker 1: sometimes I used to keep my nose so on the
- 4:49Speaker 1: grindstone that I wouldn't even look up and realize. Man, hey, man,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I know you're trying to get here, but Steve, hold on, man,
- 4:59Speaker 1: can't you see what you've done so far? Can't you
- 5:02Speaker 1: find just some joy in the process. See, a lot
- 5:05Speaker 1: of us lose the joy of the blessings God has
- 5:08Speaker 1: given us because we're looking at the end tomorrow. I
- 5:11Speaker 1: ain't there yet, You're on your way. I'm gonna give
- 5:14Speaker 1: you an example. I had a friend who told me
- 5:18Speaker 1: that they wanted to be a million now, and they
- 5:21Speaker 1: asked me some questions and I told him, so they
- 5:24Speaker 1: started the process. And I am telling you, this dude
- 5:29Speaker 1: works extremely hard. So about a year later we were talking.
- 5:36Speaker 1: He had found this business, he had uh set his goal,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and he was working towards it. Then about two years
- 5:46Speaker 1: later I ran up into him again. We were talking
- 5:48Speaker 1: about it and everything. It's a man really really appreciate advice.
- 5:52Speaker 1: He said, Man, but this is this is it is
- 5:54Speaker 1: all jacked up, man, because I still ain't made that
- 5:57Speaker 1: million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
- 6:01Speaker 1: just just keep at it. It's coming. He's a man.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Keep at it. Man, You know how long I've been
- 6:05Speaker 1: doing this? And I got quiet because, yeah, I know
- 6:08Speaker 1: exactly how long you've been been two years now. And
- 6:12Speaker 1: I didn't say that to him, but I said to myself, yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 1: two years. He said, Man, I've been grinding so long. Man,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's just it ain't having it from me. I said,
- 6:20Speaker 1: wait a minute, man, hold hold on, hold on. I said,
- 6:23Speaker 1: about how much you're making right now a year, man,
- 6:27Speaker 1: about two hundred fifty thousands. I quit breathing. I said, well,
- 6:33Speaker 1: my man, two years ago you didn't have a clue.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Two years later, you're making a quarter of a million dollars.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I said, man, do you understand how blessed you are?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I said, man, your family was about to get put
- 6:50Speaker 1: out two years ago. You don't borrow the house. Yeah, man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: but this ain't the house. I really won't whoa partner?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Whoa I got that? I got that house. You really
- 7:02Speaker 1: won't make Mike car five eight million. I don't know.
- 7:04Speaker 1: But man, y'all got a house, you're making a payments,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you're driving. You ain't out nor more. I said, old man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you gotta stop. I said, you got to stop. I said, man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: because right now, man, you you're coming across as real
- 7:16Speaker 1: ungrateful to me. So I know, God, who has done
- 7:19Speaker 1: all this for you, got to be looking at you
- 7:21Speaker 1: with his own folded. But then he God, so he
- 7:24Speaker 1: probably handling it all together different. I was just speculating
- 7:27Speaker 1: with it. And so he said, man, why are you
- 7:28Speaker 1: tripping like that? Man, Man, you act like don't nobody
- 7:31Speaker 1: want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa man?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
- 7:37Speaker 1: and ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to
- 7:39Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started on,
- 7:43Speaker 1: that you are on your way and you are in
- 7:45Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals, and can you not
- 7:48Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment. Quit
- 7:53Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million yet.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You on your way. You don't went from your He thought,
- 7:58Speaker 1: this dude was making fifteen knowls a year. You're making
- 8:00Speaker 1: quarter of a million dollars in two years. May come on, man,
- 8:03Speaker 1: can't you see? Can't you see? So? He said? Eventually
- 8:08Speaker 1: a man, I kind of see what you're saying. But
- 8:10Speaker 1: that ain't about nothing to me because I ran up
- 8:13Speaker 1: into him a year and a half later. How you doing, man, man,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I showed wish I had appreciated my life when I
- 8:21Speaker 1: had it like that. I said, what you mean, had
- 8:23Speaker 1: it like that and just fell on some hard times? Man,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm right back why I was. And then we talked.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I said, hey, man, don't worry about it. I said.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Once you know how to accomplish something, I said, you
- 8:34Speaker 1: just reapply the same principles and start on over again. Man,
- 8:38Speaker 1: you know how hard it is to be the start over? Okay,
- 8:41Speaker 1: my man, hold up, partner, you've ben do yourself like
- 8:43Speaker 1: this again. First, she wasn't grateful for what you had.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Now you're looking at the fact that you might have
- 8:49Speaker 1: to start over, and you know how hard it is
- 8:50Speaker 1: to start over, but you have the knowledge, the principles,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and you got a little bit of money to go
- 8:55Speaker 1: on and get it going again. I said, Man, don't
- 8:58Speaker 1: keep doing this to yourself. Said, man, you ain't grateful
- 9:01Speaker 1: no matter what God do for you. So what you
- 9:03Speaker 1: need to do, partner, stop reassess yourself the fact that
- 9:08Speaker 1: you were not grateful in the first place. Could that
- 9:11Speaker 1: be the reason why? You know? Man? Maybe I'm not
- 9:14Speaker 1: calling it cause I ain't God. I do not know
- 9:16Speaker 1: how he thinks, nor do I claim to know. But
- 9:19Speaker 1: let's just imagine for a moment. Let's just say, maybe
- 9:23Speaker 1: for a moment, maybe God said, Okay, you ain't happy
- 9:28Speaker 1: with this. Okay, didn't handle it your way? You obviously
- 9:32Speaker 1: ain't happy with the way I'm bringing it into your life.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You want to handle it your way. Go ahead and
- 9:36Speaker 1: handle it because he will let you have it your way.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Can I tell you that he will let you do
- 9:41Speaker 1: it exactly the way you want to it because He
- 9:43Speaker 1: gives us all the power of choice. So then maybe
- 9:46Speaker 1: he said, Okay, you don't appreciate the way I'm doing it.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You don't like the favor, I'm showing you. You think
- 9:51Speaker 1: it's take it too long, I'm gonna let you do
- 9:53Speaker 1: it your way. I'm not gonna turn my back on you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm just gonna let you do it your way. Just
- 9:58Speaker 1: just say. Maybe he said that and now he right
- 10:00Speaker 1: back where he was. So what I try to get
- 10:03Speaker 1: the young cat to understand was, man, appreciate your life
- 10:07Speaker 1: for what it is. Because like um life, Jenny's got
- 10:10Speaker 1: that song that he got out off this album. Still
- 10:13Speaker 1: I still believe it could have been worse. And now
- 10:16Speaker 1: that it is worse, what's on your mind now, folks,
- 10:20Speaker 1: if you are on that side of life where you
- 10:23Speaker 1: have figured out what you wanna do, you know how
- 10:25Speaker 1: you're gonna get that, and you know your purpose. You're
- 10:28Speaker 1: accomplishing what the majority of people never ever do. So
- 10:31Speaker 1: be grateful for your process. Don't tumble yourself, don't throw
- 10:35Speaker 1: yourself off the cliff. It's gonna be all right. Success
- 10:38Speaker 1: takes a measure of time. It is not easy. If
- 10:42Speaker 1: success were easy, everybody would be successful. All right, y'all.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry this morning if I sounded a little all
- 10:50Speaker 1: over the place, in a little jumble, but that's how
- 10:51Speaker 1: it came to me. So you know, uh, y'all, keep
- 10:55Speaker 1: your head up. Ladies and gentlemen, gather yourselves, put your
- 11:08Speaker 1: arms around yourself and hold you. Don't let nobody interrupt
- 11:17Speaker 1: what we about to do. Come on here now, we
- 11:23Speaker 1: come together today. That's right, that's right. On the day
- 11:27Speaker 1: out for elections nationwide, cost domicide, for mal the hide.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Wait a minute, the wa where can I have in?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Want to think the Almighty? For results not all favorable,
- 12:00Speaker 1: but we made it to the end. Yeah. Sometimes that's
- 12:06Speaker 1: where departy begins. That I'm saying, man a man again.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Sister Sherley, good morning, pastor, Sister Carlo, morning pastor how
- 12:20Speaker 1: are you? He ain't made it in yet. We checking
- 12:24Speaker 1: on him now, see if anything has happened, my lord,
- 12:29Speaker 1: my lord, long as it ain't got cold out there,
- 12:34Speaker 1: he'll be all right. Yea, the most bitter man in
- 12:38Speaker 1: all the reguals, television writing rooms, churches, school playground. Bitter man.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Ain't nothing changed, ain't nothing, don't change, and the mastery
- 12:54Speaker 1: of foolery. Nephew, Tom, I'm on here now and I'm sorry. Yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 1: what's up? Yeah, that's it. I'm yeah, that was quick,
- 13:15Speaker 1: just drawn out. Man, It drains you. You got to
- 13:18Speaker 1: turn the channel and didn't come back. I mean we
- 13:22Speaker 1: crawled in here, didn't we YEA been up all night
- 13:26Speaker 1: watching all the results are not what we had hoped
- 13:30Speaker 1: I would imagine, but it's done. That was some positives
- 13:35Speaker 1: I thought, and there was some negatives. I thought. We'll
- 13:38Speaker 1: be talking about that today. Uh, they still haven't fully
- 13:44Speaker 1: decided on the on the governor, on the governor's race
- 13:49Speaker 1: and Georgia. Yeah, stay behind with the boat. I mean,
- 13:54Speaker 1: excuse me, Stacy Abrams just behind with to the vote
- 14:00Speaker 1: in So there's still holding out on that. These racist
- 14:05Speaker 1: were close, though they're very close. Some issues in Georgia,
- 14:09Speaker 1: some power outages and following locations and things like that.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So that's why she's not conceding yet. There are some issues,
- 14:16Speaker 1: so it could be a runoff in Georgia. Refusing to concede.
- 14:21Speaker 1: He just hasn't easily. He just hasn't conceded yet. All right,
- 14:33Speaker 1: coming up to Yeah, coming up at thirty two after
- 14:37Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna talk about yesterday's mid term election
- 14:39Speaker 1: in detail. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 14:43Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Alright, guys, we talked about it the
- 14:46Speaker 1: mid term elections last night for the Democrats. The good
- 14:49Speaker 1: news was taking back control of the House. Yet, yes, yes,
- 14:54Speaker 1: we picked up seats in New York, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Texas,
- 14:59Speaker 1: and others. President Trump called the House Majority Minority leader
- 15:04Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi just before midnight to congratulate her. It was
- 15:08Speaker 1: also a big night for women, lateies. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 15:14Speaker 1: we who rose the world girls right with at least
- 15:17Speaker 1: a ninety winning House elections. I'm not that surprised about
- 15:21Speaker 1: that about the women winning. My mom was in charge
- 15:26Speaker 1: of me from the time I got here. That's a
- 15:32Speaker 1: good thing, Steve, It's a good thing. It was. It
- 15:34Speaker 1: was a good, big night for women. As I said,
- 15:37Speaker 1: the DEM's also won races for governor in Illinois, Kansas,
- 15:41Speaker 1: New Mexico, and Michigan. However, in the races we were
- 15:44Speaker 1: we were closely watching. Florida Republican Congressman Ran de Santis
- 15:50Speaker 1: won that battle for governor. It was a tight one
- 15:52Speaker 1: over our candidate, Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum. Take a listen
- 15:57Speaker 1: to some of Gillan's concession speech. Here we go. We
- 16:00Speaker 1: recognized that, you know, we didn't We didn't win it tonight.
- 16:04Speaker 1: We didn't win this transaction. But I want you all
- 16:08Speaker 1: to know that is just it, a transaction that what
- 16:11Speaker 1: we believe in still holds true today. Uh. I gotta
- 16:16Speaker 1: tell you as I stand here on the highest of
- 16:21Speaker 1: seven hills in Tallahassee, Florida, the campus that gave so
- 16:28Speaker 1: much to me and to my wife r j Uh.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Many of days for those students who around when we
- 16:35Speaker 1: were here as students, we marched plenty of times from
- 16:39Speaker 1: this very set up to the capitol. We let our
- 16:43Speaker 1: voices be heard. We didn't shrink from the challenges. We
- 16:46Speaker 1: didn't shrink from power. We spoke truth to power. Uh.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And just because we didn't always come out victorious, we
- 16:54Speaker 1: didn't retreat. We stood up, We stood strong. We spoke
- 17:00Speaker 1: out because we recognize that we had power to m Wow,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I don't think we've heard the last of him Hunt.
- 17:10Speaker 1: He just getting started. Yeah, he got he got some
- 17:13Speaker 1: other things he got next. But you know, like like
- 17:19Speaker 1: you say, a couple of our candidates, Stacy Abram didn't
- 17:25Speaker 1: come to nut. She's still nut. She's not conceded. That's right. Uh.
- 17:30Speaker 1: In the gubernatorial race in Georgia, um To Republican candidate
- 17:35Speaker 1: Brian kemp Um, it's you know, state, the high stakes contest.
- 17:39Speaker 1: It was just too close to call. Take a listen
- 17:42Speaker 1: to what she has to say. Votes remain to be counted.
- 17:46Speaker 1: There are voices that were waiting to be heard across
- 17:49Speaker 1: our state. Folks are opening up the dreams of voters
- 17:53Speaker 1: in absentee ballots, and we believe our chance for a
- 17:56Speaker 1: stronger Georgia is just within reach. I'm not conceding to nothing.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I might be conceded, I'm not conceding to nothing. She
- 18:06Speaker 1: just wants to wait till all the absent she ballots. Yeah,
- 18:10Speaker 1: all of that, officials, which is a good thing. Yeah,
- 18:19Speaker 1: officials say after several voters ran a good thing. It's
- 18:23Speaker 1: a little scary for me. Flash back, Tom, did you
- 18:28Speaker 1: hear me? That's right, officials say, after several voters ran
- 18:32Speaker 1: into issues including power outages, broken machines, long lines, voting
- 18:37Speaker 1: locations and a few Atlanta neighborhoods reopened for a number
- 18:41Speaker 1: of hours, So that was good. The close race between
- 18:44Speaker 1: Democrats Stacy Adams and her Republican opponent Brian camp could
- 18:48Speaker 1: bleed into a Democratic runoff if neither major party candidate
- 18:52Speaker 1: wins of the vote. So I don't understand that rule. A, yes,
- 18:58Speaker 1: some of them you have to get more than I
- 19:01Speaker 1: don't understand, Well, what determines a runoff? Well, it's all
- 19:07Speaker 1: the votes have been counted and and like Stacy Abrams
- 19:11Speaker 1: just said, that's why she's not conceding, right, because of
- 19:14Speaker 1: there were some issues at polling places. So they want
- 19:16Speaker 1: all the votes to be counted to say who actually
- 19:19Speaker 1: has that percentage to understand say there will be a runoff.
- 19:26Speaker 1: They don't have percent of the vote exactly. If one
- 19:29Speaker 1: has fifty one and the other has, you have to
- 19:33Speaker 1: have if you have fifty, then you get a run off.
- 19:36Speaker 1: You you know, both of you would have to have
- 19:40Speaker 1: a fifty for this to Bill rout right. So she's
- 19:43Speaker 1: still waiting on them to account her votes. She could
- 19:46Speaker 1: have all the votes have that The thing about it
- 19:50Speaker 1: that I don't understandstand take so long in judge of
- 19:53Speaker 1: the account And they were done in Texas like like
- 19:57Speaker 1: real quick is just like some states are like you've
- 20:00Speaker 1: on that hard to believe? Yeah, well, like we said, Jay,
- 20:02Speaker 1: there were power outages, they were broken machines, long line.
- 20:07Speaker 1: The person she running again, don't about to see this. Yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 1: we were talking about, yeah, voter suppression. Yeah, but yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 1: some machines didn't even have power cords and we see
- 20:22Speaker 1: what was happening. Yeah, and j you mentioned Texas Senator
- 20:25Speaker 1: Ted Cruz was able to hold onto his seat and
- 20:29Speaker 1: defeat upstart challenger Beto O'Rourke despite the fact that he
- 20:33Speaker 1: was able to stage one of the best finance runs
- 20:36Speaker 1: in history and betto thank to supporters, and he dropped
- 20:39Speaker 1: the F bomb. Take a listen to this, showing the
- 20:43Speaker 1: country how you do this. I'm so proud of you guys.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Come on, man, that's real. That's real right there, that's
- 20:54Speaker 1: how you can see that. Yeah, here one more time,
- 21:02Speaker 1: showing the country how you do this. I'm so proud
- 21:07Speaker 1: of you guys. Fight boy, it's late. They act like,
- 21:18Speaker 1: oh my god. He said that. Man, I'll be going
- 21:21Speaker 1: y'all got to be kidding here, that's all he said,
- 21:26Speaker 1: Oh my god. And New York Democrats wracked up their
- 21:31Speaker 1: first sweep of the state Senate in ten years. Go ahead,
- 21:34Speaker 1: New York. That's according to the New York Daily News.
- 21:37Speaker 1: So congratulations to all the winners. Yeah, alright, um, we're
- 21:42Speaker 1: coming back. Nephew. Tommy's here with run that frank back
- 21:45Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Me, yeah, okay, hey,
- 21:58Speaker 1: al right, Steve listen wing up at the top of
- 22:01Speaker 1: the hour and entertainment News, The Sexiest Man Alive, the
- 22:05Speaker 1: one and only interest Alva. No it is not you
- 22:08Speaker 1: don't even go over here? Yes where he got it?
- 22:13Speaker 1: Use you? He got it? Yeah, right now it's time
- 22:17Speaker 1: for our second No, man, have two? What you say?

- 22:28Speaker 1: have a two week I'm at least twitter two. Come on,
- 22:36Speaker 1: sexy Tommy would run that prank back? What you got?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Who would you vote for? That's it right there? Okay,
- 22:42Speaker 1: it's a good day for that. Who's your vote for? Ready? Hello? Hello,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach your earnest you wild, Mr Ernest
- 22:54Speaker 1: American Survey. And what we're doing is we're calling around
- 22:58Speaker 1: the different hands knows about the whole Um presidential race.
- 23:03Speaker 1: But right now we're focusing on calling uh well, we're
- 23:07Speaker 1: focusing on calling up. We're focusing on calling black people
- 23:14Speaker 1: black people. Yeah, well, I mean, it's just something we're
- 23:18Speaker 1: doing and we want to try and figure out exactly
- 23:21Speaker 1: he you people are voting for, because that's important right now,
- 23:25Speaker 1: I don't think it's une down. This is who I'm
- 23:27Speaker 1: voting for. Well, we want to know exactly which way
- 23:30Speaker 1: the votes are gonna be going here in the in
- 23:32Speaker 1: the whole running of the presidential race. So we're just
- 23:35Speaker 1: trying to figure out who you're voting for. It really
- 23:39Speaker 1: is on the local say about who I vote for,
- 23:41Speaker 1: but I vote for we're getting you'all people out of
- 23:44Speaker 1: I see that. But because I'm tired, I'm tired of
- 23:46Speaker 1: this bull. You can put that on your down saying
- 23:50Speaker 1: we tried this bull the anasage, we should have changed it.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'll vote for Obama. Well, are you voting for him
- 24:01Speaker 1: just because he's black? Now? Is that what you're doing? Right?
- 24:06Speaker 1: That doesn't mean you sat back to see if he qualifies, sir.
- 24:10Speaker 1: That's why that's why we're calling y'all because we think
- 24:13Speaker 1: you're going about this whole thing wrong. I'll tell you what,
- 24:16Speaker 1: even if we are going about it wrong, that's how
- 24:18Speaker 1: we're gonna do it. You know what I'm saying, y'all

- 24:23Speaker 1: So get what we're gonna change it. You don't say that.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Y'all been there too wrong. We're gonna take the White
- 24:30Speaker 1: House black now. Now. One thing you're not gonna do
- 24:32Speaker 1: is paint the White House black. It's been white from
- 24:34Speaker 1: day one and you're not gonna change that. Matter of fact.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I want to tell you this, don't y'all show up,
- 24:39Speaker 1: none of them post or It's gonna be some problems

- 25:06Speaker 1: been getting cut out and all that's calling on the
- 25:09Speaker 1: phone trying to scale them. I like that, yeah, because
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm just ready to get dead off with somebody. I
- 25:15Speaker 1: was somebody would be at the poll, tell me who
- 25:17Speaker 1: to vote for? Who I can't vote for? We're gonna
- 25:19Speaker 1: show you all we're going to have people at them polls,
- 25:22Speaker 1: and we're gonna stop y'all from voting if you don't
- 25:25Speaker 1: tell us ahead of time what you're doing and who

- 25:40Speaker 1: We are randomly calling black people, and we have the
- 25:43Speaker 1: right to do that. Okay, I understand the survey, but
- 25:45Speaker 1: you need to you need to watch how you talk
- 25:47Speaker 1: to people. Man. You can't to be calling people with

- 26:02Speaker 1: I make sure I show up and I'm gonna vote

- 26:40Speaker 1: ever I want to do. You and I can do
- 26:43Speaker 1: what I want to do. You you gonna go in
- 26:47Speaker 1: that pole thing and you're gonna vote for me. You
- 26:50Speaker 1: don't vote for who I want to vote for. Up.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You need to stop calling my phone and don't call
- 26:55Speaker 1: my number yet, and you can tell the mother because
- 26:59Speaker 1: my black I tell you that much. You man, you
- 27:05Speaker 1: still calling me? Then I tell you I'm doing a survey.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I told you may stop calling my man. I'm voting.
- 27:15Speaker 1: We all vote, not a fact. We all trying. Everybody
- 27:19Speaker 1: wants to vote. We vote all vote. You know what
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm saying. I want We're doing the survey and you're
- 27:25Speaker 1: gonna answer these questions I got for you. I asked

- 27:37Speaker 1: that I know that don't even know how to spoil vote,
- 27:39Speaker 1: We're gonna vote. He might be smart now, but that
- 27:42Speaker 1: young fella can't run this country like we can't. We
- 27:46Speaker 1: know what it takes to run this country. I know
- 27:49Speaker 1: we've gone through some uh few, a few glitches here
- 27:53Speaker 1: and there, but it ain't been that bad slowed up,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and you know they don't play that. They got Checknold
- 28:00Speaker 1: had to do it. Yeah, yeah, Wait, We're not afraid
- 28:08Speaker 1: of anybody, and you better be afraid to come to
- 28:10Speaker 1: them polls. You hear me, man, nobody else that you.
- 28:15Speaker 1: You listen to me. I got one more thing that
- 28:17Speaker 1: I need to say to you. Are you listening to
- 28:19Speaker 1: make don't listen to you. This is Nephew Timing from

- 30:54Speaker 1: Coming up at about twenty minutes, Guys, twenty minutes after

- 31:02Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine, Steve. That's eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 31:06Speaker 1: We want to talk about what else the midterm elections. Uh,
- 31:09Speaker 1: the Democrats took control of the House. Republicans kept the Senate.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Big night for women. More women are headed to Congress
- 31:16Speaker 1: than ever before. We love the sound of that. Yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 1: girl power. The President tweeted tremendous success tonight. He offered
- 31:23Speaker 1: in the early stages of the results, thank you to
- 31:26Speaker 1: all uh Down in Florida, Andrew Gillum lost in the
- 31:30Speaker 1: gubernatorial race. Ted Cruz was re elected and Stacy Adams
- 31:35Speaker 1: has not conceded in Georgia. Abrams, Stacy Abrams? Why do
- 31:38Speaker 1: I keep calling her Adams? Like? Stacy Abrams? Okay, I
- 31:47Speaker 1: apologize her. She's been on our show and everything. Stacy
- 31:51Speaker 1: Abrams has not conceded. Uh. They're saying she's refusing to concede.
- 31:56Speaker 1: We're just saying she hasn't conceded yet. There could be
- 31:58Speaker 1: a runoff in just member for Georgia's governor's race. Yeah,
- 32:03Speaker 1: so yeah, hanging there to the last minute, don't give
- 32:08Speaker 1: up the fight. In Entertainment News, we say congratulations to
- 32:13Speaker 1: Indriss Elba. Indress, Congratulations. I don't think you were in

- 32:45Speaker 1: where near that. I'm gonna call you because he got
- 32:48Speaker 1: to know where I was, you know, as heels, all right,
- 32:54Speaker 1: you're on everybody heels? Hey, alright, Look, we have four
- 33:00Speaker 1: great guys on the show. Let's do let's do our
- 33:04Speaker 1: own pole Carla Okay, SE's man okay, uh from Let's
- 33:08Speaker 1: go from the bottom to the top. Yeah. Four four,
- 33:13Speaker 1: number four mm Jay Anthony Brown, because he's the newest member.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I can see that. Yeah, he's and he's bitter. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: he can't be sick. It's not sexy face. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Number three. I'm gonna go with Junior only because only
- 33:43Speaker 1: because no, I can't even say that, was gonna say,
- 33:46Speaker 1: because he's no, you could be six sexy. What you number?
- 34:04Speaker 1: Number number two? Number two? I mean, we don't have
- 34:08Speaker 1: anyone left but Tommy, no you have I'm talking about
- 34:12Speaker 1: for the number two positions. So we only have Tommy
- 34:15Speaker 1: for a number two. So Steve, of course it's Steve.
- 34:18Speaker 1: He first. Steve is exactly man alive on this show. Okay,
- 34:26Speaker 1: there's Quie little Way who all right this time? Never
- 34:32Speaker 1: mind Steve, It's time for today's headlines. Please introduce her.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, please your hands for MS and trip.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Thank you. Okay, good morning, and this is the day
- 34:45Speaker 1: after the day, of course, the mid term elections is
- 34:48Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. The mid term elections are over.
- 34:52Speaker 1: They're almost thirty competitive house races at stake, five big
- 34:55Speaker 1: Senate races, seven gubernatorial races right off no surprise. Early
- 34:59Speaker 1: in the NA independent Vermont to Sandor Bernie Sanders was
- 35:03Speaker 1: easily reelected, as was former Democratic Vice presidential candidate Tim Kane,
- 35:07Speaker 1: who retained his Virginia U S. Senate seat. There was
- 35:11Speaker 1: something for everyone basically when the results were over, and
- 35:14Speaker 1: they're still not over, but you know, at the end
- 35:16Speaker 1: of the night, I'll put it that way, Republicans will
- 35:18Speaker 1: remain in control of the U. S. Senate for at
- 35:20Speaker 1: least the next two years, and President Trump can thump
- 35:23Speaker 1: his chest for this one. Democrats lost seats to GOP
- 35:26Speaker 1: candidates in those states where Trump aggressively rallied his base.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Democratic senators were defeated in Missouri and Indiana, North Dakota.
- 35:34Speaker 1: The seats were kept red also in Texas and Tennessee.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And that was despite some really strong challenges from Democrats.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I mean, Democrats did come out in force. Basically, this
- 35:44Speaker 1: year's election map left Democrats trying to defend twenty six seats,
- 35:48Speaker 1: ten of them in states where Trump won in so
- 35:51Speaker 1: again they lost them. Then h they lose hallten obviously, um,
- 35:55Speaker 1: but you know they will not be the majority in
- 35:57Speaker 1: the Senate, but they weren't before. So GOP now holds
- 35:59Speaker 1: a comfort do bole fifty two to forty eight lead
- 36:02Speaker 1: in the Senate. But they still were winning anyway because
- 36:05Speaker 1: with Vice President Pence's vote, they still could do what
- 36:07Speaker 1: they want. They they had the majority, so that really
- 36:10Speaker 1: has not changed for them. There was one seat the
- 36:12Speaker 1: Republicans thought they could snatch, but they didn't. That's because
- 36:16Speaker 1: New Jersey senators A. Bob Menendez was re elected to
- 36:18Speaker 1: a third term, and he came out swinging last night
- 36:22Speaker 1: at Donald Trump. I won't back down when President Trump
- 36:26Speaker 1: and Republicans come after Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security over
- 36:31Speaker 1: my dead body. And most importantly, I will never be
- 36:37Speaker 1: silent when President Trump betrays all that actually makes America great.
- 36:45Speaker 1: And other news, Ianna Presley became the first African American
- 36:48Speaker 1: woman to be elected to the House of Representatives from
- 36:51Speaker 1: the state of Massachusetts. Their race is still close, too
- 36:54Speaker 1: close to call. Like GOP and pumbent Congressman Chris Collins
- 36:57Speaker 1: of New York his Democratic challenging Nick mc murray, that's
- 37:00Speaker 1: still too close to call at one point to look
- 37:02Speaker 1: like McMurray was pulling ahead, then look like Collins was
- 37:04Speaker 1: definitely had it. But then that's chained. Senate races in
- 37:07Speaker 1: Florida and Montana also on decided this morning. In Georgia,
- 37:11Speaker 1: um as you heard, Democrats Stacy Abrams is not conceding
- 37:14Speaker 1: her bid to become the nation's first black female governor.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Her opponent, Republican Brian Kemp, is actually in charge of
- 37:20Speaker 1: refereeing to vote since he's currently Secretary of State. He's
- 37:23Speaker 1: already being sued for discounting thousands of votes before the election,
- 37:27Speaker 1: most of them in non white voting areas. Meanwhile, in Florida,
- 37:30Speaker 1: Democrat Andrew gillen forth the good and classy fight but
- 37:33Speaker 1: narrowly lost his bid to become governor. And that's a
- 37:35Speaker 1: campaign Donald Trump also focused a lot of his rallies
- 37:39Speaker 1: on and then get back in twenty minutes after the
- 37:42Speaker 1: hour and stay with us for a Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:45Speaker 1: You're listening to the show, all right, it is the
- 37:49Speaker 1: day after the mid term elections. You know what I
- 37:54Speaker 1: love about your commercials. You always sound like you're talking
- 37:58Speaker 1: while you holding your real I'll point it out to you.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Go ahead, Shirley right now in the middle of this. Okay,
- 38:12Speaker 1: I love the white meat part of that commercial during
- 38:19Speaker 1: Junior's Mike on in Jay's off. Alright, the mid term elections,
- 38:27Speaker 1: that's what we're all here to talk about. It's the
- 38:28Speaker 1: day after for the Democrats. The good news was that
- 38:32Speaker 1: they took back the control of the House by picking
- 38:35Speaker 1: up seats in New York and New Jersey, Oklahoma, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota,
- 38:39Speaker 1: Texas and others. Uh. And then it was also a
- 38:43Speaker 1: big night for women, with at least ninety winning House elections. Yeah,
- 38:47Speaker 1: so that's good news. The Damn's also won races for
- 38:50Speaker 1: governor in Illinois, in Kansas, New Mexico, and Michigan. However,
- 38:55Speaker 1: in Florida, I'm a bit of an upset there. Republican
- 38:58Speaker 1: Congressman On De Santis won the battle for governor over
- 39:03Speaker 1: our Canada Tallahassee Mayor Andrew gill Um. Uh. Take a
- 39:06Speaker 1: listen to some of Gillen's concession speech. We recognized that,
- 39:11Speaker 1: you know, we didn't we didn't win it tonight. We
- 39:14Speaker 1: didn't win this transaction. But I want you all to
- 39:18Speaker 1: know that is just it a transaction that what we
- 39:21Speaker 1: believe in still holds true today. I gotta tell you
- 39:28Speaker 1: as I stand here on the highest of seven hills
- 39:32Speaker 1: in Tallahassee, Florida, the campus that gave so much to
- 39:39Speaker 1: me and to my wife r j uh many a
- 39:43Speaker 1: days for those students who around when we were here
- 39:45Speaker 1: as students, we marched plenty of times from this very
- 39:49Speaker 1: set up to the Capitol. We let our voices be heard.
- 39:54Speaker 1: We didn't shrink from the challenges. We didn't shrink from power.
- 39:57Speaker 1: We spoke truth to power. Uh. And just because we
- 40:02Speaker 1: didn't always come out victorious, we didn't retreat. We stood up.
- 40:07Speaker 1: We stood strong. We spoke out because we recognize that
- 40:13Speaker 1: we had power to well. I mean, you know, he
- 40:18Speaker 1: fought the good fight. That's all you could say. Yeah,
- 40:24Speaker 1: we haven't heard the last seven Okay, we all know
- 40:28Speaker 1: that in Texas Ted Cruise Ted Cruise one. Uh, he'd
- 40:33Speaker 1: beat Beto Rourke. Do we have time to play Beto
- 40:38Speaker 1: Rourke his concession speech, quickly showing the country how you
- 40:42Speaker 1: do this. I'm so proud of you guys. Coming up,
- 40:53Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 40:55Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:00Speaker 1: All right, wow, day after the mid term elections. We're
- 41:04Speaker 1: all here. We survived it. Uh, there are some states
- 41:09Speaker 1: are still counting. Uh, some areas are still counting. We'll
- 41:13Speaker 1: get the final rest results, I'm sure later today. Some
- 41:16Speaker 1: people may have a runoff come up in December. Um,
- 41:20Speaker 1: a lot of things. Yeah, Mississippi, Mississippi. Yeah, they definitely
- 41:24Speaker 1: said Mississippi's going to We ain't concede nothing in joge
- 41:27Speaker 1: until we can't rest me both. I'm not gonna see
- 41:30Speaker 1: nothing to nobody, and I mean, I mean exactly, and
- 41:33Speaker 1: I get all these papers in here so we can
- 41:34Speaker 1: get the counting this up. See nothing. I'm not calling him,
- 41:40Speaker 1: tell him. I'm not calling him, not at all. Not today.
- 41:44Speaker 1: It's gonna be next week before we get all this
- 41:46Speaker 1: pape work to go. Yeah, he's not gonna get a
- 41:49Speaker 1: call from the phone calls. He said, I had no
- 41:55Speaker 1: education that we ended the phone. But they're saying that
- 42:00Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams out of Georgia is saying is refusing to concede.
- 42:05Speaker 1: She just hasn't conceded. She wants all the votes to
- 42:08Speaker 1: be counted before she can see. Didn't somebody refuse to
- 42:14Speaker 1: show us their tax Ye okay, so you may have
- 42:18Speaker 1: to still ain't showed it too well, you know, I don't.
- 42:21Speaker 1: I don't even know if it's important anymore because the
- 42:23Speaker 1: people are gonna vote for him. They don't one each
- 42:25Speaker 1: time a matter of fact, they try and desperately to
- 42:27Speaker 1: get their tax forms look like that. Oh yeah, I'm
- 42:31Speaker 1: telling you, man, how do you feel about the election yesterday?
- 42:34Speaker 1: In the in the voter terms, Well, you know, I
- 42:37Speaker 1: can't say that the candidates that we really pushed for,
- 42:43Speaker 1: Abrams and Gill him, that we didn't turn out to vote.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I can't say that. I thought there was some great
- 42:49Speaker 1: energy around both campaigns, so I can't say we didn't vote.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I think it's the biggest mid term election turnout since
- 42:58Speaker 1: I can remember. Are especially that gather this type of
- 43:02Speaker 1: momentum behind it. But with that said, what becomes really
- 43:08Speaker 1: disturbing for me is exactly how many people vote for
- 43:14Speaker 1: the other side. And that's frightening, man, because I mean,
- 43:22Speaker 1: if if you're really approving what this man says, you're
- 43:27Speaker 1: sending a clear message to a lot of people that
- 43:31Speaker 1: this is what you're okay with, this type of rhetoric
- 43:34Speaker 1: with and it doesn't matter the results, the rhetoric that
- 43:38Speaker 1: comes with these results right here, you're perfectly fine with it.
- 43:41Speaker 1: But what you're not considering is you haven't seen the
- 43:46Speaker 1: full ramifications of the rhetoric. See these people, this man
- 43:55Speaker 1: keep talking and get us in a war. You know
- 43:59Speaker 1: who keep it's got to go over there and die,
- 44:02Speaker 1: see not here? Yeah, see you Mr Poe Black, Mr
- 44:07Speaker 1: Poe White, Mr Poe Latino, that y'all did you you
- 44:11Speaker 1: You're on the front line. See, And so that's the
- 44:15Speaker 1: danger man, that so many people voted the other way.
- 44:19Speaker 1: It's like that time I was on the plane years
- 44:21Speaker 1: ago and the guy says, we got to talk. He
- 44:24Speaker 1: was really cool dude, but our conversation turned to politics,
- 44:27Speaker 1: and I wish it had no because we were having
- 44:29Speaker 1: a good conversation on the plane. And he leaned over
- 44:32Speaker 1: to me and he said, on one of the lectures,
- 44:34Speaker 1: he said, so you seem like a really great guy.
- 44:38Speaker 1: You mean to tell me that you're voting for a
- 44:40Speaker 1: guy simply because he's black. And I said, yeah, exactly what,
- 44:44Speaker 1: I'm pulling the trigger on him. He said, just because
- 44:48Speaker 1: he's black, you vote for a person? I said yeah,
- 44:52Speaker 1: he said, walk, I can't be honest with you. I
- 44:55Speaker 1: have a problem with that. I said, well, I got
- 44:58Speaker 1: a problem if that's the same reason you ain't gonna
- 45:01Speaker 1: vote for you know, you know, you know, I mean,
- 45:06Speaker 1: since we're having an honest conversation, and that's how I
- 45:09Speaker 1: feel about this election here. I just feel like, hmm,
- 45:15Speaker 1: so many people voted gainst values. They don't care about
- 45:21Speaker 1: them people coming about them kids that got separated, that
- 45:24Speaker 1: they they're really trying to take your pre existing care.
- 45:27Speaker 1: They're trying to close Diallas clinics out here in California. Yeah,
- 45:32Speaker 1: that was one of the propositions. Yeah, so that's what
- 45:36Speaker 1: That's tough, man. We got to keep going. Yeah, yeah,
- 45:41Speaker 1: where the people are? Are they up yet? Anyway, We're
- 45:45Speaker 1: coming back with the nephew his prank phone call coming
- 45:47Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 45:52Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top right about four minutes,
- 45:58Speaker 1: it's today's Strawberry Stop my boss controls me. But right
- 46:07Speaker 1: now it is a nephew here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Turning this right here, doesn't right here and go to
- 46:15Speaker 1: my daddy. This is classic. Can I have your kidney?
- 46:21Speaker 1: Can I have your Kidney run that. Hello. Hello, I'm
- 46:27Speaker 1: trying to reach a brother, Conny. This is how are

- 47:06Speaker 1: wife we've been talking about it and we've been praying
- 47:09Speaker 1: on it, and she was a wonderful thing to know
- 47:12Speaker 1: that your church is with you and y'all thinking about
- 47:14Speaker 1: me and prayer. I've really had to take this this
- 47:17Speaker 1: to the Lord. This is a serious thing with me
- 47:20Speaker 1: and uh, I ain't never had an operation before in
- 47:22Speaker 1: my life, and I know I needed my wife and
- 47:25Speaker 1: made it clear. The doctor made it clear that I
- 47:27Speaker 1: believe I'm ready to go forward. Beacon. It was that
- 47:29Speaker 1: Deacon Patterson. That's right, I haven't I haven't been. I've
- 47:34Speaker 1: been a church probably about talk about eight months now.
- 47:37Speaker 1: You've pretty much been out most of the time. Yes,
- 47:39Speaker 1: I have been out of you. Yeah, so I've seen
- 47:43Speaker 1: you a couple of times. But I wanted to call
- 47:44Speaker 1: and and and and put a word in for you
- 47:47Speaker 1: and let him, you know, let you know that we're
- 47:49Speaker 1: all praying for you, the church, the Lord get back
- 47:52Speaker 1: and we know out for Friday is gonna definitely be
- 47:54Speaker 1: a great success. Yes, and we don't give the victory
- 47:57Speaker 1: to who the yes something, he's the victory. Let me
- 48:02Speaker 1: let me have a word of proud with your brother
- 48:04Speaker 1: con if you don't mind just about your head from me.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Father got we have right now, we have right now
- 48:09Speaker 1: that you touch brother Connley as he goes in on Friday,
- 48:13Speaker 1: please put your hands on him. We asked Father that
- 48:16Speaker 1: you hold on to the doctor that's getting ready to
- 48:19Speaker 1: go and look to put the surgery on it. Yes,
- 48:21Speaker 1: we asked that you make sure that the doctor it's
- 48:25Speaker 1: got a strong eye on that morning walk with him.
- 48:28Speaker 1: We asked that that that he got a steady hand
- 48:31Speaker 1: when he got the scalpel in his hand. We asked
- 48:33Speaker 1: that your hold on to him please as he goes
- 48:37Speaker 1: into a surgeon, because we know it comes side the moan,
- 48:40Speaker 1: the victory gonna belong the brother Connley and the Lord.
- 48:44Speaker 1: We know all of this, but we we we asked
- 48:46Speaker 1: that you take that pincers and you remove it out
- 48:49Speaker 1: successingly closing back up like it was never been entered
- 48:53Speaker 1: in before. Walk with Nick. That's what we're asking. We
- 48:55Speaker 1: asked your Lord at the same time that they're removing
- 48:58Speaker 1: this pincery. As Lord, we asked that your reach around
- 49:02Speaker 1: his backside, and we asked that you his kidney. Lord,
- 49:06Speaker 1: that just kidney, and make it hold making a percent.
- 49:10Speaker 1: We want you to make that kidneys like it's been
- 49:13Speaker 1: that best kidness, because Deacon, that's they can they can
- 49:17Speaker 1: whoop Pat Deson pass. Yeah, you're saying they do, sir,
- 49:20Speaker 1: They're there's nothing wrong with my kidney, Deacon. I'm doing
- 49:23Speaker 1: I'm doing fine. The Lord is Lord has been needed. Well,
- 49:26Speaker 1: he's gonna work on my pancris. That's what the doctors
- 49:28Speaker 1: operating thought me forward, and that's what they're playing to remove.
- 49:32Speaker 1: So my kidney is fine. They did what they called
- 49:35Speaker 1: when they in my eyes, and everything else is fine.
- 49:37Speaker 1: He ain't working on nothing but my pancres, sir, right right, right, Well,
- 49:41Speaker 1: let let me say I'm glad you brought it up
- 49:43Speaker 1: with this. This is when we want to call you.

- 49:50Speaker 1: ask you was yeah, And I know this is. I
- 49:53Speaker 1: hate to come at you in the final hour when
- 49:55Speaker 1: you're getting ready to go out third and all that,
- 49:57Speaker 1: but if you don't mind it when they go in
- 49:59Speaker 1: on Friday morning and and remove that pincers out, do
- 50:04Speaker 1: you think that that that that they could go in
- 50:08Speaker 1: and and get one of your kidneys? Because I need one?
- 50:12Speaker 1: Hold hold on, just mid beacon up. What do you say?
- 50:16Speaker 1: What you say? See see see what else? I've been
- 50:19Speaker 1: going through myself with a little ailment, and I'm wondering

- 54:33Speaker 1: you don't send this letter. We could be reading your
- 54:36Speaker 1: letter live, just like we're gonna read this one. Right Hey,
- 54:39Speaker 1: let us Sexy number two jump in here right behind
- 54:41Speaker 1: the interest. But hey, buckle up and hold on tight.
- 54:44Speaker 1: We got bug along with all a long time. We
- 54:50Speaker 1: gotta find you. Stowberry letter subject my boss controls me.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Here's Stephen Shirley. I have a dilemma and I need
- 54:58Speaker 1: your advice. I'm in my late twenties and I worked
- 55:01Speaker 1: for a nonprofit organization and my boss is a fine,
- 55:05Speaker 1: older gentleman. From the beginning, I could tell he was
- 55:09Speaker 1: attracted to me, and I would catch him looking at me.
- 55:12Speaker 1: One Saturday, about three months ago, he called and invited
- 55:16Speaker 1: me over to watch a pre game season show with
- 55:19Speaker 1: him and his friends. I already had I know, I know,
- 55:23Speaker 1: watch a preseason game, dyslexics show, pre games, preseason game
- 55:35Speaker 1: to anything about sports. Here we go, the voice on
- 55:44Speaker 1: the show and losing it, amuh with the preseason game. Okay,
- 55:48Speaker 1: preseason game. He wanted her to watch that with him
- 55:51Speaker 1: and some friends. She already had plans, so she told
- 55:54Speaker 1: him she would come by later, and when she got
- 55:57Speaker 1: to his house, he was the only one there. After
- 56:00Speaker 1: watching a few quarters of the game, he pulled me
- 56:03Speaker 1: closer to him on the couch and got all touchy feely.
- 56:07Speaker 1: So yes, we end up having sex. Afterwards. I went
- 56:12Speaker 1: home and he called me later that night and said
- 56:14Speaker 1: he picked me up for work so we could talk.
- 56:16Speaker 1: It's been three months and I have spent every night
- 56:19Speaker 1: with him at his house. My boss is sixteen years
- 56:23Speaker 1: older than me, but we worked well together and he
- 56:26Speaker 1: has helped me with my finances and taught me how
- 56:28Speaker 1: to run a small business. He has told me that
- 56:31Speaker 1: he is not in a relationship, but admitted that he
- 56:34Speaker 1: has a few female friends that he entertained. I cooked
- 56:38Speaker 1: for him daily, I clean up his house, and I
- 56:40Speaker 1: run small errands for him. There have been a few
- 56:43Speaker 1: nights that he has left the house after dinner and
- 56:45Speaker 1: didn't come back until the next morning. I am in
- 56:49Speaker 1: no position to say anything, so I let him have
- 56:53Speaker 1: his cake and eat it too. At first, it didn't
- 56:56Speaker 1: bother me, but now it's starting to. When I asked
- 56:59Speaker 1: him what's going on, he said that he has helped
- 57:02Speaker 1: me get my life together, and I have no room
- 57:04Speaker 1: to complain, so he can do whatever he wants to do.
- 57:08Speaker 1: I'm not sure why he keeps me around. I do
- 57:11Speaker 1: need my job, so I don't want to keep pressuring
- 57:14Speaker 1: him with questions. How should I handle this situation? Well,
- 57:19Speaker 1: I say this, Uh, you're in no position not to
- 57:22Speaker 1: say anything at this point. This is your life. You
- 57:25Speaker 1: have to take control of your own life and not
- 57:28Speaker 1: let this old man do it that you're dating. Uh.
- 57:30Speaker 1: You're in your twenties, okay, and you work for this man,
- 57:34Speaker 1: but it doesn't mean that you have to give away
- 57:36Speaker 1: your self respect. Here you're not defeated. Uh, look at
- 57:40Speaker 1: what this fine older gentleman as you call him taught you.
- 57:43Speaker 1: He empowered you. Actually, when you think about it, now
- 57:46Speaker 1: you can better handle your finances as a result of
- 57:49Speaker 1: being with him, and now you know how to run
- 57:52Speaker 1: a business. That's empowering. So don't let him hold you
- 57:56Speaker 1: hostage in this particular job you're in now, or or
- 57:59Speaker 1: don't him hold you hostage in this relationship. This is
- 58:02Speaker 1: so disrespectful, by the way, I gotta ask you. Are
- 58:05Speaker 1: you his maid or are you his girlfriend? You're over
- 58:08Speaker 1: there cooking, cleaning, running, errand sex in him and as
- 58:12Speaker 1: you say, letting him have his cake and eat it too.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I think you're doing too much and it's just time
- 58:17Speaker 1: you start looking for your own job. Time you start
- 58:20Speaker 1: building your business that he taught you to do. Okay,
- 58:23Speaker 1: put yourself first. Break up with this man who tells you,
- 58:27Speaker 1: I mean really the nerve after spending the night out
- 58:29Speaker 1: all night that he can do whatever he wants to do. Well,
- 58:32Speaker 1: guess what, so can you. You can do whatever you
- 58:35Speaker 1: want to do to You just gotta leave him, and
- 58:38Speaker 1: you just gotta do it, Steve. They take your time
- 58:48Speaker 1: and it was a pregame show. By the way in
- 58:55Speaker 1: she worked for a nonprofit organization and her boss is
- 59:00Speaker 1: a fine older gentleman, you know, and he'd been looking
- 59:04Speaker 1: at us, so she could tell he was attracted. One Saturday,
- 59:07Speaker 1: asked him come over and watch a game with some friends.
- 59:10Speaker 1: You have some plans. You told him you come by later.
- 59:12Speaker 1: When you got to the house, you was the only one. Now,
- 59:16Speaker 1: was nobody ever over there? A time nobody goes over
- 59:20Speaker 1: somebody house to watch a preseason game. In one quarter, though, dog,
- 59:26Speaker 1: nobody go to nobody house to watch preseason football. Now
- 59:32Speaker 1: now can we don't even know who to help play,
- 59:36Speaker 1: and it don't count. That's not the time to spend
- 59:39Speaker 1: money on tail. So you get over there and y'all
- 59:45Speaker 1: watching it, And then time, wybody, he started pulling, pulling
- 59:49Speaker 1: you closer to him on the couch, and he got
- 59:52Speaker 1: all touchy feeling. And then right after y'all got touchy feelly,
- 59:57Speaker 1: we ended up having six Oh yes, lord, what did
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I'm sorry? I followed it. Yeah we are. Yeah, So
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: right after that they got touchy feeling, the bam, just
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: like that, now they're having sex. You went home. He
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: called you that night, said he picked you up for
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: work so we could talk. It's been three months. You
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: just spent every night with him at his house. My
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: boss is sixteen years old. And let me do the math, right,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you late twenties, let's say, I'm gonna say he's sixteen
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: native sixteen years yeah, but he's been in that old.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Then he got to work well all together, got your finances,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: taught you how to run a business, told me he's
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: not in relationship, but admitted he got a few female
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: friends that he entertained. Now he told you this upfront.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I'm not in a relationship, but I got a few.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: That means more than to women that I entertained. Hello,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: that means I'm somewhere putting on the show. That's what
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: entertained me. And he knows what he's doing because all
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: he did was get touchy feeling, that's all. But he
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: didn't master the art or touchy feeling. Now touch you
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: feeling to lead you down the path of darkness and iniquity.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Iniquity that you have come to the realization, come on
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: here now that you won't him. Got to have him
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: right most be with you. So now you're at the
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: house every day, clean, cooking, making up bees, moving furniture.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I'm on spraying pleedge. Don't do that soon. And I
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: don't know what last time I cleaned. We'll be right
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: back with some issue. Yeah, the subject my boss controls me.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: That's coming up a twenty three after. Right after this,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: we are back. Let's huh what'd you say? Dollar? We're
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: in the middle of the Strawberry letters, Steve, come on,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: big dog hanging here. Let's go, let's recap and I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: get part two of yours girl and late twenties. Uh
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: start working for his company, head to find old dude
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: and they're running in um. She could tell he liked
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: him right away because the way she was looking at him.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: He invited over the house to watch football game preseason, right,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: that's what I said, the game. Don't nobody go see
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: supposed to be a bunch of friends watching games. She
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: said she'd be over there later. She get over there.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Ain't nobody over, but hell yeah, because don't nobody go
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: to nobody's house for no preseason for they're sitting up
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: on the couch. He pulled her a little closer than
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: he get touchy feeling right. After a little touching and
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: a little feeling, they went on hand sets. Yeah, it's
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: been most now three months. She didn't spend every night
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: at his house. Yeah, my boss is sixteen years older
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: than me, but we worked well together and he's helped
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: me with my finances and taught me how to run
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: a small business. She getting caught up. He has told
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: me that he is not in a relationship, but admitted
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: that he has a few female friends that he entertains.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: What does it mean to entertain a woman? That means
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: he's somewhere putting on a show. I cooked for him daily,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I cleaned up his house and I run small erange
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: for him. Kissy is trying to make an impression. I
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: just call it kissy. Really, that's the name. He came
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: because he ain't all this cooking, cleaning, running the talk
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: and running what cooking clean? I know? That's what I said.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: She's the most is she doing a lot? Know what
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you want me to call him? Was named that I've
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: flow alice. It's some famous maids on TV. Now. There
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: have been a few nights that he has left the
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: house after dinner and didn't come back until the next morning.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: I'm in no position to say anything. Really. Okay, Well
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you've removed yourself from any point of power. So you've
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: said I'm in no position to say anything. Um, well
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: so you want right now? Hm? So I let him
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: have his cake and eat it too. This is an
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: ideal relationship. Oh absolutely. At first it didn't bother me,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: but now starting to. When I ask him what's going on,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: he said, he didn't help me get my life together.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: I have no room to complain. You said, he has
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: several female friends that he entertains well after dinner and
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: he leave a house he got to go entertained means
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: that is a man so well, probably naked putting on
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: the show. Probably, Yeah, he got burn over the strip,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: count of stuff, he over the entertained it, and he
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: do what he want to do. Then when you say
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: something to him about it, he said, even help you
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: get your life together, You ain't got no room to complain.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: So he can do whatever he wants. Any man can
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: do whatever he wants if he's allowed to. It just
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: depends on what we want to do. So now you
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: allow it. Even though you say you have no position
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to say anything, you don't have to sit there and
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: take it though, that are other job? Now Here's you
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: go right here so he can do whatever you want.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I'm not sure why he keeps me around. No, because
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: you keep hanging it. You ain't went nowhere. What do
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: he gotta get rid of you for? I can sleep
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: with you, you cooking, clean in my house, running ass
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and after we eat, I go somewhere and spend another
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: night with another chick. Why would I run you off him?
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: That's the greatest thing ever? Yeah, did you get my
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: clothes out to clean it? I'm not sure why he
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: keeps me around? Why would you cut loose all it? Free?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Help stuff? I do need my job. You ain't making
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: that much down at that damn nonprofit. I can tell
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: you that right now you can. You can make that
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: money somewhere else. But you don't want to go keep
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: picking you up? You over there every night. You didn't
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: find a mission in life. You clean it. You need
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: to up your standards a little bit in a relationship.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Let the man walk all over you. Didn't want to
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: know why he keep you around? Keep you around? Because
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: why the question? And why you still around? May when
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: you're gonna cut the yard? Sitting up in here, all
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: sat get out over here. I got I wrote what
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I want to dinner because I got to get after
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I eat, I got to get out here. And getting
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: to tell you, listen, sitting up in here hard as
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: I'm out here, working down here, just non profit all day?
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Are you only showing yes? Stop it? And he's not
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: that fine anyway with matter man talking about I don't
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: know why he keeps me around and why would you
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: get rid of you? The best thing ever, beautiful situation
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: for him. I don't understand where are these women that
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: for me? I do need my job, so I don't
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: want to keep pressuring him with questions how should I
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: handle this? First of all, you need to remove yourself
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: from the situation because this is a no wind relationship
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: with you. You're letting a man sleep with you while
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: he's telling you he's openly sleeping with other people. And
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: if you can justify that in your mind and you
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: can take about anything, so you can stay there and
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: keep taking this crap and not feel pressured and scared
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: to say something, or you can leave and go get
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: another job. But I think you like being over at
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: his house too much because it's sixteen years boy, he
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: didn't done something. All right, Look, we gotta get out
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: of here. Email US or Instagram. That's your thoughts on
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. It's Steve Harvey FM coming up in
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: ten minutes from the Talk. Our girl, Cheryl Underwood. You're
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: our girl from the Talk is here. Please introduce her, Sir,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Sheryl Underwood, Steve Harvey and the Steve
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Stuff. Listen to me. I'm exhausted, been up
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: all night long election returns. Let me have you something
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Colin for Rells. Do you have your finger on the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: dump button? D? Two good words? I know, I know, girl,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: but this sometime we got to say Max c. Waters girl,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: get him, Get him girl. Let me tell you what
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: happened now that the Democrats have taken control of the House.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Guess what Max Water is gonna be over? That's right,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: which means what scrawberries? Money? There? You gonna wish space?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: What bancon? Yeah? Well, Bank of America, sitting bank. Everybody,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: get ready, baby, Sitty National get ready, baby. And let
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: me tell you what's good about this. What's good about
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: it is the Democrats that they've taken over. They got
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: to Senior the nasty Pelosi. She gonna keep her position.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Everything a shift, Donna get on that investigation. See I
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: said shift, See that, See that calling how he's about
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: to take over the investigation. But Mulla ain't saying nothing.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Mulla got the head it down working. They're gonna find
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: out what the Russia's got on Trumps. And let me
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: tell you how this goes go. If they find out,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: you knowthing broke the lot. I'm gonna tell you it
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: ain't the Democrats President Trump need to worry about. It's
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: the Republicans. And they say, well, they're not gonna the
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Senate won't vote to impeach them. If you bring them
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: a good case, I bet you they will around. I wait, wait, wait,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: but this was a good election, Stacey Averge girl. I
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: wouldn't concede either. I don't give a doll go keep counting.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: You ain't got enough vote. Listening to me, I swept
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: for love. I would not concede. I don't blame betto
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: or Rock. It's okay to use the F bomb. But
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: it did. Yeah, because that's how they talked, Tommy, That's
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: that's how the white folk talk. Girl, we got better,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: can't You got a ready showing the country how you
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: do this. That's right. I'm so proud of you. Right,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: that's that's that's listen to me. That's white exuberant campaign trail.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: He'd be governor right now. You're absolutely right. But let
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: me tell you something. These racist was close. But this
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: is the year of the woman. You got almost a
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: hundred women in the House. You got Muslim women, you
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: got young Hispanic women, you got different races of women,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: not Republicans. Yeah, y'all, control's up, manchion. Okay. In the Senate, yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: he backed Kavanaugh, but he barely won. But let me
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: tell you what I think something for some people, you
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: know they I think they a lot of people. How
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: they say that talking loud and saying nothing, you know
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And so that got them in a
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: trick bag. And now you gotta worry about what's gonna happen. Now.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: People say it's gonna be more gridline, Oh no it's not.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: See Trump don't take well to a good fight or
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: a pushback. And now that the Democrats control the House,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: now you're gonna see some pushback because he don't understand
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: the rules of the gang. See, the Republicans have a
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: control of the House, and the Senate allowed him to
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: do whatever he wanted to do. But the other thing
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: is this breaks the control that the Republicans had over
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: the House all the way back to the Tea Party.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: So your vote doesn't matter. Your vote does count. And
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: the Democrats gotta understand, get ready for and start buying
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: ads to get us closer to the Democratic Party on
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: all levels and in black newspaper and black media. Don't
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: take us for you to up your mind. Shill, what
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: if you're a Republican because you keep saying we didn't
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you talk about Democrats one of these sides so I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: can know who I'm talking to. You're talking to Weed
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: the we the people's. You talk about we the people's
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: and I'm we the people's And in order to have
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: a perfect union you need me. Why because I'm at
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: all the Republican meetings sitting in the back eating a sandwich, going, oh,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I can't wait to get to the Black churchbody, and
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay a Republican. There are a lot of
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: people that switched parties. OPRAH Staysia independent, and I think
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: celebrities getting involved in this process was good. But Trump
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: did what he had to do. He took Air Force
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: one in the places where they ain't probably never seen
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: a plane, you know what I'm saying. So they was that. Yeah,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: that's what they did, Junior. You know, anybody pull up
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: a nice call. You know, he pulled up Air Force one.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: You ain't ever seen that before. Last time you've seen that.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Harrison Ford was fighting somebody on the end of it.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: The plane brown, the inside the Air Force. Yeah, Hairson
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: fart was he wasn't flying like. Nobody plays a more
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: distressed looking white like. Yeah, he donna do something abody. Yeah,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: you know how to look concerned. Yeah, he's Cheryl. Yes.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Before you go, though, can you please say a few
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: words about Indris Elba please, Sexy, let me tell you
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: this is where I vote, really not at Shirley Strawberries.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Voted in every name I got, slave name, African name,

- 1:15:17Speaker 1: He knows how to play a criminal and die good.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: He a dj He liked regular women. That's why he
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: needs It's only been three black men that have done
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Denzel what Denzel did. Indress who thought they should have
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: been second. Oh you think I'm sorry, Carlin, you almost
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: said it right. What's going on? They whenever they have
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: big booty and some skinny pants as beautiful man you
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: because you got a big booty in the skinny pass
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: a lot. You're gonna pop up. What day? It's somebody

- 1:16:17Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: here we are this day after the election day, and Steve,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: you got a busy day today. Huh you're going over
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: to where ye? Yeah, I gotta leave a little bit
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: earlier because I'm going over First Take Us in l

- 1:17:12Speaker 1: thing I saw in the pain like the same thing.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: They're gonna ask me what I see the future clean,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: the same thing I saw the pack Cleveland Molin just
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: just pain. No, you're not gonna say anything good about

- 1:18:12Speaker 1: are you gonna I promise you I got billion dollars.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: It won't be for no damn team. I'm gonna be
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: somewhere in the water man. Just Michael Irvin on First
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Take Stephen Monday Night Football. Why do you sweat somebody?
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: What's from? Let me tell you something? You know why

- 1:18:47Speaker 1: off on Stephen A yeah, I don't know. I don't
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: get it. No, no, no, this is my boy. Ain't
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: gonna be that come back if I know how to
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: shut it down? Because out and told Stephen a minute
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: what you know? You're a better debater in sports, not

- 1:19:08Speaker 1: and you know more about sports, but you are not
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: as fly as me, and you will never be as
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: funny as me. So I don't care how technical you get.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Mess who get you? Crazy ass in bass? Okay, so
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: about that? What are you wearing? Then? Come on? Come on?
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Almost sexiest man alive, sexiest man alive on this show.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I know Tommy wanted to title, but there's other things,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: just how you physically look, which I must tell you,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: or being hard and strange. Anyway, I don't understand why
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: you know we we we we we we we we
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: got to go through this every time the subject of
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: sexy come up, and you don't understand how you how
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: you second to interest? You know I don't and you

- 1:23:33Speaker 1: before election day, Texas Senator Ted Cruz and comedian and
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: actor Jim Carrey went in on each other on Twitter.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: A yeah, Carry, Jim Carrey got the ball rolling by
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: portraying Crews as a vampire in a post supporting Democrats,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: including uh Beto O'Rourke. Um Carry tweeted, go Beto, go Democrats.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Uh Monday under a cartoon like drawing a challenger bet
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: old rourke pulling back curtains as Cruise fled from the sunlight.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: That's what a vampire would do, right, Carrie wrote, Let
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: the sunshine turn all those bloodsuckers. Then Cruise clapped back
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: in a tweet, calling Carry a self described socialist and added,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: vampires are dead and everyone knows the dead vote Democrat
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: and yeah and no, yeah, that was good. That was
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: like a six. Someone probably wrote it all right. It
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: didn't stop there, please believe. Then Carrie clapped back and tweeted, Wow,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry I rattled your chain at Cruise. I thought
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you would have had more important things to do two
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: days before an election, like sucking up to the guy
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: who called your wife ugly and accused your dad of murder.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: But I get it. It's hard to say no when
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Trump Trump grabs you by the bleep. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: well you know what that's making. Let's make a good comeback. Facts, Uh,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: make a great comeback that you can permit. Facts very hard.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Not not that and the other thing about being a comedian,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: we don't care about getting beat up because we're going
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: for the funny. Yeah, and we got the Mike Stane
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: be careful when you run up over here. Yeah. And
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: we don't go for popularity. We're just going for the
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: statement over what is the jack? I love that. Yeah,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Harry won the clapback, But Crews won the election today.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Yeah but whatever though, Yeah, but were from better here
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: from our candidates. Come on, this is the best. How

- 1:26:50Speaker 1: kill him? Was so close? So close? Yeah? Yeah, ran
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: a class all right, yeah he did. We'll have more

- 1:27:00Speaker 1: listening string show. All right. So, man, so Junior off
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: the air. You were talking about this football player and
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: and the tapes that his team asked him to watch back.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: What happened? Mark just it just goes to show you
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: what's his name to Mark's Demark's rus. This just goes
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: to show you, Yeah, with the Raiders. And this is
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: from the file the man ain't giving me a break.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: This is why you lose your job, because the man
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: ain't giving me a break. Okay, So what happened? He
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: was not good, In fact, he wasn't a good quarterback,
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: and then the coaches knew something was wrong. This man
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: he not he not getting all the audibles right. He
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: keeps throwing all these in what's going on? So they
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: gave him some tapes to study for the other team,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: because that's normal, that's homework, homework, you know. So then
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: they go back and they asked, hey, man, you watched
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: the tape. He said yeah. They just went back to
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: each that said, you know what, he ain't watching film
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: because we ain't putting nothing. They were just black watched
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: the Black Lives. But you know where the starts that

- 1:28:20Speaker 1: And she goes down and the dishes still all you
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: just put them up jay, and they were third and
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: when well you turned that dishwah turned down? Ain't turning down?
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: That we learned the light of very God? Or did
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: you take a bath? Yeah, but you stink drugs right now,

- 1:29:13Speaker 1: to go in, lock the door, run the bathwater, sit
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: on the side of the tub. I know because he
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: told us eventually, and then come out and and throw
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: some water in his body like he just got just
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: spend more time and on the towel, send more time
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: faking it. You might want to take a bath, but
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: we can't. We got more time. It's time to play.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: I got time for water, and so I got I
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: got toys out here, I got to get So that's
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: what it is. You just want to be dirty. Ours
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: would come home from a baseball game, take all his
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: stuff off and crawl in the bathroom. No, that's when
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: your mama said you smell like I sid yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: I used to hate. My mama said there like like,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: what's that smell? I don't ask. It ain't dinner at

- 1:30:21Speaker 1: Yeause you're gonna break open that phone. Baby about all
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: see if the don't get strong. Yeah, that's like my
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: nephew who who used to go we called it down
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: south in Chicago. We would go down south. He would
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: go to Arkansas or where to visit. And there are
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: certain parts you can just go to the bathroom outside.
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: So he came back to Chicago in my mother's front
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: yard and he wanted to do the same thing, just
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: Pete in the front yard. He got mad when she

- 1:31:09Speaker 1: It is the day after the mid term election. All
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: night and we did our thing. We voted, we voted.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: I got so many numbers in my head. There are
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: we all need anything center the precincts reporting, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: all of that. That's all I know. We're winning right now.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: But we got seven five percent more coming and we
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: could just win this area over here, this county, look
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: down here in the blue country and this is the
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: Democratic area. But we have those votes of not coming
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: at all. Man I want to give a shout to jail.

- 1:31:54Speaker 1: this was an important election for all of us, and
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: we did. The Democrats picked up in the House. We

- 1:32:35Speaker 1: so he'll be in a runoff. So we still have
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: to continue our civic duty. And when the runoff comes,
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: I think it's next month or later this month, you know, November,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: we have to get out and vote again, all right.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: Uh and and Georgia crew finished. That's right, that's right,
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: because we got out and vote. I mean, we as

- 1:32:58Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, us right, continue to watch Georgia
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: with Stacy Abrams and yea yeah. Yeah, they may have
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: a runoff in December. Yeah, and um, we have part

- 1:33:29Speaker 1: that were waiting to be heard across our state. Folks
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: are opening up the dreams of voters and absentee ballots,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: and we believe our chance for a stronger Georgia is
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: just within reach. Amen, keeper positive, keep hope alive. All
