- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like the milling bus things. And it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve har to st Joy. You gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn arm. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out the turnout, turn the water, the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back, huh I shore
- 2:02Speaker 1: will good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. You know today I was thinking
- 2:13Speaker 1: of what I would say today and it just dawned
- 2:17Speaker 1: on me this way, and I just want to share
- 2:18Speaker 1: this with everybody listening. You've got to get some help
- 2:22Speaker 1: to make it through life. I cannot imagine where I
- 2:25Speaker 1: would be if it was not for the help of
- 2:29Speaker 1: my God, if it wasn't for his grace and mercy,
- 2:33Speaker 1: if I did not have the ability to lean on
- 2:37Speaker 1: him and all the times I've had to lean on him,
- 2:40Speaker 1: which has become a daily basis. I have no idea
- 2:43Speaker 1: where I would be, but clearly I know for a
- 2:46Speaker 1: matter of fact, I would not be here today. You
- 2:49Speaker 1: have got to get some help to get through this
- 2:52Speaker 1: theme called life. I am begging you to look into it. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: you've got to form a relationship with God. Without a
- 2:59Speaker 1: relationship with God, this thing called life is daunting at times.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. I know I'm speaking
- 3:06Speaker 1: the truth right now, because listen, no matter who you are,
- 3:11Speaker 1: what job tighter you have, what aspirations you may have,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I don't care what your educational background is or is not.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It does not matter if you don't get a real
- 3:22Speaker 1: relationship going on with God. I don't see how you
- 3:25Speaker 1: can make it. So many people are faking in fronting
- 3:28Speaker 1: out here like they got it going on, and you
- 3:30Speaker 1: don't know, and you really don't know how many people
- 3:34Speaker 1: that you think in your neighborhood had it going on
- 3:36Speaker 1: because you saw a car pull up in the driveway,
- 3:39Speaker 1: or the house look bigger, or grass is cutting nicer,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and you only find out that a foreclosed your side
- 3:45Speaker 1: on their house too. See, you don't know. The mask
- 3:48Speaker 1: that people put on to parade around in is for
- 3:51Speaker 1: appearing's sakes. So a lot of people you looking at
- 3:55Speaker 1: that you think got it going on? Who might be
- 3:57Speaker 1: the pattern of success that you want to trade? You
- 4:00Speaker 1: got to be real careful with that because it may
- 4:03Speaker 1: not be as it appears to be. But one thing
- 4:05Speaker 1: is for sure, no matter what's going on in your life,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I know that behind whatever mask I'm wearing, or I realized,
- 4:15Speaker 1: or no matter what the appearances may be, that on
- 4:18Speaker 1: the other side of me, I'm gonna be just fine. See.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You may be outwardly people hating on you, talking about you,
- 4:27Speaker 1: dragging your name through the mud. Look, man, people can
- 4:30Speaker 1: say stuff about you. Most people talking about you don't
- 4:33Speaker 1: even know you. They just participating in it. You can
- 4:36Speaker 1: have that appearance going on, but behind you, within you,
- 4:40Speaker 1: if you have a relationship with God, it don't matter
- 4:44Speaker 1: because you can be all right. I've seen it get
- 4:47Speaker 1: real stormy on the outside for me, but on the
- 4:49Speaker 1: inside I just had to feel and I was gonna
- 4:52Speaker 1: be all right. See that's what the relationship gives you, man.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It gives you the confidence to note that the things
- 4:59Speaker 1: that you're going through a temporary that it's just a
- 5:02Speaker 1: space that you happen to be in. Like I said
- 5:05Speaker 1: the other day, you got to remember something. The road
- 5:08Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. You might as well
- 5:11Speaker 1: get ready for that. If you're planning on changing getting better,
- 5:16Speaker 1: doing something about your health. If you decide, hey, look,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I just would like to live a longer, more prosperous life,
- 5:23Speaker 1: or hey, I want to make X amount of dollars,
- 5:25Speaker 1: or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out in these
- 5:27Speaker 1: streets and I'm gonna come home and treat my family
- 5:29Speaker 1: where they ought to be treated. I don't care what
- 5:31Speaker 1: decision you make. When you strike out on that road
- 5:35Speaker 1: to success, it's under construction, partner. That's barrels out there,
- 5:39Speaker 1: there's wide turns, there's detools. You know. It's it's me
- 5:43Speaker 1: and out there holding sign saying slow down. Sometimes they
- 5:47Speaker 1: put the stop sign up. You gotta wait and watch
- 5:49Speaker 1: people go buy you on the other side. Then before
- 5:53Speaker 1: you can take off again. You've all been on the
- 5:56Speaker 1: road with construction on it. It can be so frustrated.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And the old time you on that road, I know,
- 6:02Speaker 1: when I'm on the road we could under construction. I'm
- 6:04Speaker 1: always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever set
- 6:09Speaker 1: in traffic under construction, man, and thought of if I
- 6:13Speaker 1: get off on this exit, where would it take me?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Not knowing? But just man, could I keep moving if
- 6:19Speaker 1: I go that way? That's a dangerous thing sometimes, see,
- 6:23Speaker 1: because oftentimes when we get off the road to success
- 6:26Speaker 1: and we take that other path, we get further and
- 6:29Speaker 1: further off course because we're no detol sign for that.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Just a decision I made on my own because I
- 6:34Speaker 1: don't like sitting here sometimes I don't have the patience
- 6:37Speaker 1: I ought to have, so I've taken some what I
- 6:39Speaker 1: thought might be shortcuts. But I gotta tell you something,
- 6:43Speaker 1: ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
- 6:45Speaker 1: detour signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 6:48Speaker 1: your way. And look background. I remember one time I
- 6:51Speaker 1: was coming from Las Vegas and that was some type
- 6:54Speaker 1: of chemical spill in a truck and you could all
- 7:00Speaker 1: almost see the smoke up ahead, very faint. So they
- 7:04Speaker 1: detoured us through the desert and we had to go
- 7:07Speaker 1: all the way around, and I drove, man like an
- 7:10Speaker 1: hour and a half out of the way, And when
- 7:12Speaker 1: they entered us back on the freeway where we were
- 7:15Speaker 1: to go back to La as soon as I got
- 7:18Speaker 1: at that exit to get back on the freeway, I
- 7:20Speaker 1: looked right there and there the accident was. Now it
- 7:24Speaker 1: was an hour and a half hour forty five all
- 7:28Speaker 1: the way around in that desert to get back to
- 7:31Speaker 1: almost the same place. But it was the best way
- 7:34Speaker 1: to go because see, that was the route to take.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
- 7:40Speaker 1: make the right decision to be successful. That the road
- 7:43Speaker 1: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to
- 7:47Speaker 1: go round a little bit, so could stop being in
- 7:49Speaker 1: patient with it. I don't want to go around. I'm
- 7:51Speaker 1: gonna go this way. You go that way if you
- 7:53Speaker 1: want to, just follow the detour signs. See, because somebody
- 7:56Speaker 1: that came up this road before. You have somebody and
- 8:00Speaker 1: travel the road already, and they took the way around,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and yeah, it seemed like it's a longer way, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: you want to make that other decision. But stay on
- 8:08Speaker 1: the road to success. It's under construction, man, that's just
- 8:12Speaker 1: the way it goes. Don't lose your patience and try
- 8:15Speaker 1: to create a shortcut for yourself. I'm gonna go away.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Ain't nobody ever gone way? Hold a partner, you really
- 8:20Speaker 1: thank you for going to do that. Listen. There's oftentimes
- 8:23Speaker 1: a lot of rewards when you go the least travel path,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but the road to success is the least travel path.
- 8:30Speaker 1: That's what you keep getting mixed up. You keep thinking
- 8:33Speaker 1: if you go another way, now, no, stay on the
- 8:35Speaker 1: road to success. That is the least travel path. It's
- 8:39Speaker 1: under construction. You can go out there with with your machete.
- 8:42Speaker 1: If you want to talk about cutting new trails. You
- 8:45Speaker 1: think the road to success is under construction, take the
- 8:49Speaker 1: other route and get that machette out and see how
- 8:52Speaker 1: long you be out there trying to cut a path. Sometimes, Man,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you just got to stay patient. The road to success
- 8:59Speaker 1: has been traveled level before by millions of people in
- 9:02Speaker 1: front of you, everybody that has some setbacks in life.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But don't get off the road to success just because
- 9:07Speaker 1: you're having some setbacks, just because you see some orange
- 9:10Speaker 1: barrels up, just because there's some men out there with
- 9:13Speaker 1: vest on. What they got to do with you? Everybody,
- 9:16Speaker 1: everybody that's trying to be successful, is on that road.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Your relationship with God helps you guide yourself around the barrels.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It helps you have the patience to go around that away.
- 9:30Speaker 1: He gonna get you back where you gotta be. But
- 9:32Speaker 1: you got to go out there so you can learn something. See,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you need God to make it in life because the
- 9:39Speaker 1: road to success is always under construction. He calms you
- 9:44Speaker 1: down when the barrels is up. He lets you know
- 9:47Speaker 1: it's gonna be all right. He rewards you with the
- 9:49Speaker 1: patience to finish because he gonna get you right back
- 9:52Speaker 1: where you need to be and you can get on
- 9:54Speaker 1: which where you was going. Okay, all right, jall, we're
- 9:57Speaker 1: gonna try that today. You're listening show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it is upon us, the three Musketeers out here. This
- 10:08Speaker 1: is what it was back in the early days. Anyway,
- 10:12Speaker 1: it was just us, three callers on vacation. Junior is
- 10:16Speaker 1: on vacation. Janthony Brown has a unrelated work detail that
- 10:23Speaker 1: we can't even we don't know. Ladies and gentlemen, they
- 10:28Speaker 1: are here. Trace am goals on the TWI A Feel
- 10:35Speaker 1: a Day, Finaldo and Rallo is the Three musket Tiers.

- 10:58Speaker 1: well I'm good going on. Yeah yeah, A little low
- 11:01Speaker 1: energy this morning, but I'm trying to find it though.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Just one of them mornings, man, that's all. But I
- 11:08Speaker 1: ain't got time for that. Too many people count on
- 11:11Speaker 1: me to wake them up in the morning, put them
- 11:12Speaker 1: in a good mood, get the spirit out here rolling.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So therefore I am what I am. I am a
- 11:19Speaker 1: morning man's making no mistake about it. And you get
- 11:24Speaker 1: to come to work today, and I got to come
- 11:26Speaker 1: in here today. Man, that's a blessing. So here it is.
- 11:29Speaker 1: What's our food? Huh? In here? In there? Like swimwell
- 11:34Speaker 1: like right in there like that, that's how up in there? Yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 1: when that swim has been on the beach like well,
- 11:47Speaker 1: I'm talking about on the beach to take my wife
- 11:51Speaker 1: to see us this weekend. That's what she wanted to
- 11:53Speaker 1: do in Vegas. Yeah, I say, show man. Yeah, he's
- 12:02Speaker 1: on roller skates on stage everything. He's pulling out all
- 12:05Speaker 1: the stuff, all that and sang it at the same time. Yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 1: he ain't got to do that anybody coming to see you, skater.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It looked good, Steve, you would like it. Oh, he
- 12:15Speaker 1: can probably do it to his music and everything. Cool. Yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 1: that's probably good if you ain't gonna make it every
- 12:22Speaker 1: night planning on slipping. Weren't playing on that, not on
- 12:28Speaker 1: roller skates. You know. He won the Speed Devils too,
- 12:32Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, like he like motorcycles. Jet skis her
- 12:35Speaker 1: speed Devil. He loved them. Yeah, he's a little everything
- 12:39Speaker 1: I like is big and slow. Yeah, well, now, yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 1: I like big slow calls, big slow money, big slow banks,
- 12:52Speaker 1: but slow ass people and younger you like the fast
- 12:58Speaker 1: You know you didn't big and slowed my whole life
- 13:02Speaker 1: first card, but wanted that. I really wanted Fleetwood, brom Fold,
- 13:08Speaker 1: don't suck calls, just big and it DriveH low. Really
- 13:15Speaker 1: you never liked a sports car anything Ferrari. They never
- 13:18Speaker 1: will na none of that, none of that, No Kenn
- 13:23Speaker 1: about that. I didn't do that. Now look look at
- 13:28Speaker 1: my cars. Yeah, all your cars here? What I buy?
- 13:31Speaker 1: I bout big ass call, big slow ass calls. All right,
- 13:37Speaker 1: coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we're
- 13:40Speaker 1: gonna ask the CLO Chief Love Officers, Steve Harvey in
- 13:43Speaker 1: the building. Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:48Speaker 1: All right, guys, it is time for ask the CLO
- 13:51Speaker 1: chief Love Officers Steve Harvey in the building. This one's
- 13:53Speaker 1: from Niki and Charleston, South Carolina. Oh you read it.
- 13:56Speaker 1: We're gonna ask everybody to pay attentional go ahead, shall okay? Everybody? Tommy,
- 14:02Speaker 1: my brother and his wife came to visit me for
- 14:04Speaker 1: the fourth of July. My brother barbecued and I invited
- 14:08Speaker 1: a few of my friends, my close friends. My brother
- 14:10Speaker 1: does not like the guy I'm dating, so I didn't
- 14:13Speaker 1: invite him. Instead, I took him a plate. Afterwards, when
- 14:18Speaker 1: I got back home, my brother yelled and screamed about
- 14:21Speaker 1: me going out of my way to make sure a
- 14:23Speaker 1: grown man ate. He told me that I've got the
- 14:26Speaker 1: dating roles reversed and I need to fall back and
- 14:29Speaker 1: let the man lead. How do I fall back but
- 14:32Speaker 1: still let this guy know that I like him. I
- 14:35Speaker 1: don't really think you did anything wrong by taking your
- 14:38Speaker 1: guy at your dating a plate. The problem is your
- 14:42Speaker 1: brother don't like him for whatever the reason. Now, I
- 14:46Speaker 1: don't know if it's because you're his sister and he
- 14:48Speaker 1: don't think nobody's good enough for you, or he just
- 14:50Speaker 1: got a bone to pick with this guy. But either way,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you already didn't invite the guy over because your brother
- 14:57Speaker 1: was there and you know he don't like him, so
- 15:00Speaker 1: you took him a plate. Now he all man that
- 15:03Speaker 1: you for taking him a plate. But you like the guy.
- 15:05Speaker 1: He has to respect the fact that you like him. Now,
- 15:08Speaker 1: what you should do is find out from your brother
- 15:11Speaker 1: why he don't like him so much. Because now maybe
- 15:15Speaker 1: your brother knows something you don't know, and maybe you
- 15:20Speaker 1: need the same information that he has, because he may
- 15:22Speaker 1: have some information as a man, because we do have
- 15:25Speaker 1: information as men about other men that women overlook because
- 15:28Speaker 1: you think he cute, where your brother don't think you cute. Yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 1: well he just said fall back and let the man
- 15:35Speaker 1: lead lead. Why she took him a plate? But what y'all,
- 15:39Speaker 1: what y'all don't understand is this is a plate of reals.
- 15:41Speaker 1: That's what this is. I know when people get mad
- 15:43Speaker 1: when it's real. This is reals. Don't nobody like real?
- 15:47Speaker 1: When you lead take reals out of my house, you're
- 15:49Speaker 1: taking the wrong thing that's not supposed to be on
- 15:51Speaker 1: a plate. All right, So moving on reals? Other people
- 15:58Speaker 1: right here? Oh here? Shelly billy and Kingston, Jamaica says,
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'm a thirty one year old married woman and I
- 16:06Speaker 1: fell at work three years ago. For the past three years,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I've been an illegal battle to get reimbursed from my
- 16:12Speaker 1: medical expenses. I finally got my settlement and I put
- 16:16Speaker 1: it in a new account that my husband doesn't know about.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Keeping this a secret is the only way for me
- 16:21Speaker 1: to keep my mooching mother in law from begging us
- 16:24Speaker 1: for money. Is it okay to have a private account
- 16:27Speaker 1: or should we combine all of our money? Good question? Yeah, yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 1: sometimes got here you own. I ain't gonna lie to
- 16:37Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie to you. As a matter of fact,
- 16:39Speaker 1: I recommend married people have their own bank account. I've
- 16:43Speaker 1: said it many times on this show. Now, you've gotten
- 16:46Speaker 1: your money from this account. But if you put it
- 16:48Speaker 1: in the bank and that mother in law find out,
- 16:52Speaker 1: she gonna beg him out of it, and he gonna
- 16:54Speaker 1: give it to him because that's his mother. So it's
- 16:56Speaker 1: best that you keep it over there and go on
- 16:59Speaker 1: and just show up with your little purses and shoes
- 17:01Speaker 1: and you know, hay and all his head, just have
- 17:05Speaker 1: him wondering where you got it from. That's probably the
- 17:07Speaker 1: best way. Shoes and hair, that's what she gonna spend
- 17:10Speaker 1: the money off. Yeah, you know, yeah, yeah, all right,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and maybe some king Adrianna and san Diego says, I'm
- 17:22Speaker 1: forty four years old and I just found out that
- 17:24Speaker 1: I messed around with my forty six year old uncle.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I didn't grow up with my dad in my life,
- 17:30Speaker 1: but we started getting to know each other when I
- 17:32Speaker 1: was in my late thirties. We were going through family
- 17:35Speaker 1: pictures and I saw a familiar guy's face and asked
- 17:38Speaker 1: who he was. My dad said, the guy is his
- 17:40Speaker 1: youngest brother, Gavin. I was mortified. I called uncle Gavin
- 17:46Speaker 1: to tell him we're related, and he couldn't believe it either.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Do I tell my daddy that I used to mess
- 17:52Speaker 1: around with his little brother? Oh my god, No, God,
- 17:55Speaker 1: you shouldn't do that. You and Gavin got to christ
- 17:58Speaker 1: see in each other. Of course, what you can't do
- 18:02Speaker 1: is get pregnant. I can tell you that, right. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: So I think you and Gavin need to just come
- 18:09Speaker 1: to terms with it. He couldn't believe it. You couldn't
- 18:11Speaker 1: believe it, But you are. And you have to stop
- 18:13Speaker 1: seeing him because that's too close. That's your daddy's brother.
- 18:18Speaker 1: You cannot get pregnant. No, that's way too messy and
- 18:22Speaker 1: crazy place. Now it happened, nobody knew. God to forgive
- 18:26Speaker 1: you for that. You didn't know, You didn't know, you
- 18:29Speaker 1: didn't know. Write it off, y'all. Yeah, yeah, but y'all
- 18:32Speaker 1: gotta break up. But right now, immediately, let me have
- 18:36Speaker 1: let you one more time, just to say goodbye. That
- 18:38Speaker 1: ain't been the work, because he might say that Uncle
- 18:41Speaker 1: Gavitt might say that, look who's quiet on this one?
- 18:46Speaker 1: You bringing it? Oh too soon? Moving Ontlito says, shut up, Tommy.
- 19:01Speaker 1: My girlfriend and I have been dating since twenty eighteen,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and she's a great woman with a great personality. The
- 19:08Speaker 1: only problem is that she's still very afraid of getting
- 19:11Speaker 1: COVID nineteen, even though we're both fascinated and very careful
- 19:16Speaker 1: when we're in public. She is a germophobe and she
- 19:19Speaker 1: washes her hands a million times a day. The worst
- 19:22Speaker 1: part is she makes me wear a mask while we're
- 19:24Speaker 1: making love, and that's uncalled for. I'm ready to take
- 19:28Speaker 1: a break from her if she doesn't stop this behavior.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Please tell me how to handle this well, let mask
- 19:35Speaker 1: what you're making love. That's kind of rough, that's difficult,
- 19:39Speaker 1: that's wrong with the hard debreathe what's murder? He might
- 19:45Speaker 1: warn a kiss. I'm not just saying, yeah, you think
- 19:49Speaker 1: people might want to breathe? Y? Aren't you stop acting
- 20:02Speaker 1: like Jason Brian Back up off your zoom a little
- 20:04Speaker 1: bit because we could see up in your nuts. You
- 20:09Speaker 1: get up on it. You too close, Jay, But you
- 20:16Speaker 1: know what, You're right tummy about the kissing, though he is.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He's got a point there, Steve. They've been dating since
- 20:24Speaker 1: two thy eighteen. What point he got about the kissing?
- 20:30Speaker 1: About the kissing? What nobody kiss No, mo man, it
- 20:36Speaker 1: ain't happening like that. A lot of people don't because

- 27:01Speaker 1: off in the next two minutes because your wife didn't
- 27:03Speaker 1: play the damn bill. I don't tell you. Excuse me,
- 27:06Speaker 1: I don't tell you. Listen, keep my wife's name out
- 27:10Speaker 1: your mouth. I'll tell you what. You know what my
- 27:15Speaker 1: supervisor would tell you. I don't know much, supervisor, but
- 27:18Speaker 1: tell me tell you that you have been talking to
- 27:21Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Sea Harvey Morning Show. You just
- 27:25Speaker 1: got bright man. I I was on my wedding. Your
- 27:33Speaker 1: co worker got Joseph. He got you. I'm gonna get
- 27:36Speaker 1: into man. Don't do no more that man you had me. Hey,
- 27:42Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you. Man, what
- 27:44Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the land? Come on, man,
- 27:48Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Showhe Tommy. I don't think I had
- 27:56Speaker 1: my life turned off in this world. I would hope
- 27:59Speaker 1: you know well, you know you're living the chateau. Be
- 28:03Speaker 1: kind of real, real good of you to get them
- 28:06Speaker 1: cut off? Now what you move out there for if
- 28:08Speaker 1: you can't pay that bill? Because that bella keep coming
- 28:12Speaker 1: highs hell every year, you know the truck out here
- 28:16Speaker 1: and cut off the mouths is electricity? Have you ever
- 28:19Speaker 1: seen truck before. Now when let time you have something
- 28:23Speaker 1: cut off years? How about your shirt? You have something
- 28:26Speaker 1: cut off years? Yeah? Yeah, who hasn't Well, I don't
- 28:30Speaker 1: know anyone who has it. I have lights, water, gas,
- 28:36Speaker 1: everything I have. I have not forgotten what that feels like.
- 28:42Speaker 1: And my daddy when they turned the water off, my
- 28:44Speaker 1: daddy made me take this little piece of iron shaped
- 28:46Speaker 1: like a tea and go out there and turn the
- 28:48Speaker 1: water back on. When your parents put you in on
- 28:55Speaker 1: a criminal situation and show feel different, love love my daddy.
- 29:02Speaker 1: But I was put in themal situation. All right. Coming
- 29:06Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have some
- 29:07Speaker 1: entertainment and national news for you with miss A and Tripp.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Day Morning Show. All right.
- 29:16Speaker 1: So Kanye's new album, Donda, which of course is named
- 29:20Speaker 1: after his late mom, we'll be released tomorrow, and word
- 29:23Speaker 1: on the street is is that Kanye's new song Welcome
- 29:26Speaker 1: to My Life is aimed at this sing Kim Kardashian.
- 29:30Speaker 1: In the song, Kanye raps tell the assassins I escape
- 29:34Speaker 1: from calab Basses as a reference to the home, of course,
- 29:36Speaker 1: he shared with Kim and therefore children now, according to
- 29:40Speaker 1: a critic, it's a very deep, sad song about Kanye,
- 29:44Speaker 1: with him reflecting on his marriage with Kim. He talks
- 29:48Speaker 1: about the kids and mentions that Kim took everything. It's
- 29:51Speaker 1: really somber, Kanye, I wouldn't do that. Yeah, man, that's
- 29:56Speaker 1: an uncool thing to do now. And I'm just gonna
- 30:01Speaker 1: say this right here. Well, of course, but here's a deal.
- 30:05Speaker 1: All y'all rappers that's supposed to be hard and gangsters
- 30:10Speaker 1: in deep. When you have a problem, you break up
- 30:14Speaker 1: with your girl and all this here what you're talking
- 30:16Speaker 1: about him in the rap song for you need to
- 30:18Speaker 1: make up your mind. But if y'all gonna be having
- 30:21Speaker 1: these little Taylor Swift ass moments that I don't get,
- 30:25Speaker 1: and I don't think it's cool to the woman, she's
- 30:27Speaker 1: not in rapped. She's not gonna do a dis track
- 30:30Speaker 1: to match you or nothing like that. It's just sad, man.
- 30:34Speaker 1: And when you think how he pursued her and did
- 30:37Speaker 1: all that to propose to her and everything, and now
- 30:41Speaker 1: you're dissing her, and you're dissing the kids you had
- 30:43Speaker 1: with her. A good look, Kanye. Look, I don't know
- 30:47Speaker 1: anything about this track. I haven't heard it, not gonna
- 30:50Speaker 1: listen to it and just ain't my thing. I'm just saying,
- 30:54Speaker 1: if that's the case, this is my opinion of that
- 30:57Speaker 1: for anybody who does it. If you break up with him, woman,
- 31:00Speaker 1: just going about your life? Man, what's the track about?
- 31:03Speaker 1: What is that that? I lose all respect for you
- 31:07Speaker 1: when you do that? Because now, man, I'm just like, wow, See,
- 31:11Speaker 1: you ain't really hard. It ain't manly, it ain't hard.
- 31:14Speaker 1: It ain't being a gangster. It's Taylor Swift to me. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: all right. Another entertainment news, Jennifer Lopez appeared on The
- 31:25Speaker 1: Today Show Tuesday, and she said she wasn't interested in
- 31:28Speaker 1: talking about Ben Affleck, or at least her body language.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Said that host Hodakdby tried to get Jlo to spill
- 31:36Speaker 1: the tea on her renewed romance with Ben Affleck, but
- 31:39Speaker 1: Jlo would not take the bait. Hoda said, you look happier. Look,
- 31:44Speaker 1: I just have to tell you, every time I see
- 31:46Speaker 1: a picture of you and Ben, I'm like, she looks happier.
- 31:49Speaker 1: She looks happier. Are you happier? To ask Jennifer, listen
- 31:54Speaker 1: to what Jennifer said, Though Jennifer avoided the question by saying,
- 31:58Speaker 1: I'm always happy when I see you, Holder. I love that,
- 32:05Speaker 1: I'm always happy when I see you Holder. She didn't
- 32:07Speaker 1: address it at all. I just think that maybe now
- 32:11Speaker 1: j Loo is trying to keep her I mean, as
- 32:14Speaker 1: much as she can because she you know, it's such
- 32:16Speaker 1: a public figure and a celebrity. She's trying to keep
- 32:18Speaker 1: her love life, you know, private, so the public won't
- 32:22Speaker 1: chime in and weigh in on it, even though we
- 32:25Speaker 1: see them everywhere. Huh, Well, I ain't seeing no pictures
- 32:32Speaker 1: of her and been a you won't you want me?
- 32:36Speaker 1: I got a bunch of in your phone? What crazy
- 32:42Speaker 1: in the same file? Is he crazy? You? Who is
- 32:47Speaker 1: in the same thing? Halle Berry? Hally? Yes? And you
- 32:53Speaker 1: want me to send you a picture on that? Yeah?
- 32:57Speaker 1: You know what? You know what I said? You're changed
- 33:01Speaker 1: dollar he changed. It's called marriage. You're gonna find out
- 33:09Speaker 1: what that is in a minute. It's time for headline,
- 33:13Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss Ann Trip morning, everybody. Attorney General
- 33:19Speaker 1: Mayor Garland is launching a five gun trafficking strike force today.
- 33:23Speaker 1: It's their forces, actually five of them that have beefed
- 33:26Speaker 1: up sustained efforts against selling and stolen illegal guns in
- 33:30Speaker 1: five cities, New York, Chicago, or San Angels, San Francisco,
- 33:32Speaker 1: and Washington, DC. By the way, in Washington, yesterday, Center
- 33:36Speaker 1: Republicans blocked a move to open debate on a bipartisan
- 33:39Speaker 1: trillion dollars infrastructure measure. They say they want to know
- 33:42Speaker 1: how it's gonna be paid for. Meanwhile, in the House,
- 33:45Speaker 1: Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy is threatening to withdraw all five
- 33:48Speaker 1: of his picks to serve on that Select Committee task
- 33:51Speaker 1: to further investigate the January sixth Capitol Hill riot. That's
- 33:55Speaker 1: because how Speaker Nancy Pelosi accepted three of his picks
- 33:58Speaker 1: but refused to others. A Republican Liz Cheney, who's criticized
- 34:02Speaker 1: Donald Trump and who's on the panel, she says Pelosi's
- 34:05Speaker 1: decision was the right one. She objected to two, one
- 34:08Speaker 1: of whom may well be a material witness to events
- 34:12Speaker 1: that led to that day that led to January sixth,
- 34:15Speaker 1: the other who disqualified himself by his comments in particular
- 34:19Speaker 1: over the last twenty four hours, demonstrating that he is
- 34:22Speaker 1: not taking this seriously, He is not dealing with the
- 34:25Speaker 1: facts of this investigation, but rather viewed it as a
- 34:28Speaker 1: political platform. Both men also voted against certifying the results
- 34:32Speaker 1: of the twenty twenty election. That's also why Pelosie didn't
- 34:34Speaker 1: want them on the panel, because she thought they were
- 34:37Speaker 1: pretty much too much devoted and devoted to Donald Trump.
- 34:41Speaker 1: The panel's first hearing schedule for next week, regardless, and
- 34:44Speaker 1: is to feature firsthand accounts from police who faced off
- 34:47Speaker 1: with writers at the Capitol that day. Disgrace movie mogul
- 34:51Speaker 1: Harvey Weinstein's pleaded not guilty to charges of forcible rape
- 34:55Speaker 1: and other charges involving five women in California. He's already
- 34:58Speaker 1: serving twenty three three years sentence for rape and sexual
- 35:01Speaker 1: assault in New York. Up in Buffalo, a California couple
- 35:04Speaker 1: Get This whose gender revealed ceremony sparked a wildfire, and
- 35:09Speaker 1: Sam Bernardino that killed the firefighter last year. They've been
- 35:12Speaker 1: charged with involuntary manslaughter. Rupilio Jimenes and Randee Himenists have
- 35:17Speaker 1: played not Guilty. Finally, a certain nineteen seventy spoken word
- 35:21Speaker 1: piece making the rounds on social media now in the
- 35:24Speaker 1: wake of the gazillionaires Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos rocketing
- 35:28Speaker 1: into space this month, it's Gil Scott Herron's Whitey's on
- 35:31Speaker 1: the Moon tax is taking my whole damn check. The
- 35:34Speaker 1: junkies make me a nervous reckon the price of food
- 35:37Speaker 1: is going up. And as if all that crap wasn't enough,
- 35:40Speaker 1: A rat dun been my sister Nell with Whitey on
- 35:43Speaker 1: the Moon. I think I'll send these doctor bills a
- 35:47Speaker 1: male special too. Whitey on the Moon nineteen seventy, big
- 35:54Speaker 1: big hit for Gils claud Here. Now back to the
- 35:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:00Speaker 1: All right, so here's a question. Think about this, guys.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Did you know that only forty eight point six percent
- 36:05Speaker 1: of Americans are fully vaccinated? Okay, talking about against COVID nineteen.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Of course, what's scary about that is that the new
- 36:13Speaker 1: delta variant is now responsible for more than eighty three
- 36:17Speaker 1: percent of the new COVID nineteen cases. This is according
- 36:20Speaker 1: to doctor Rochelle Willinski, director of the Centers for Disease
- 36:23Speaker 1: Control and Prevention. Studies have shown that the COVID nineteen
- 36:28Speaker 1: vaccines are effective against multiple variants, including the delta variant.
- 36:32Speaker 1: So why won't people just go get the vaccination? Why
- 36:36Speaker 1: won't they do it. We've all taken a prescription medication.
- 36:40Speaker 1: We didn't have any idea what was in it, but
- 36:42Speaker 1: we knew that it would make us feel better. The
- 36:46Speaker 1: COVID nineteen vaccination has been proven effective. Okay, bake the
- 36:51Speaker 1: damn shot. Yeah, I mean, come on, come on, I
- 36:57Speaker 1: don't understand this. By the way, there's a post circulating
- 37:01Speaker 1: on Instagram that these people are fully vaccinated. Donald Trump,
- 37:04Speaker 1: all right, the Republicans fearless leader, Melania Trump, his wife Ivanka,
- 37:10Speaker 1: Donald Junior, Jared Kushner, Sean Hannity. I saw him encouraging
- 37:14Speaker 1: people now Steve to take the vaccination, along with Mitch McConnell,
- 37:19Speaker 1: which I was like, what, Almost all of Fox News
- 37:27Speaker 1: has taken the vaccination, Okay, the very people that were
- 37:32Speaker 1: initially speaking out against it. So now they're they're having
- 37:36Speaker 1: a change of heart. I hope it works because we
- 37:38Speaker 1: need to get this. It's very simple. You have all
- 37:41Speaker 1: these theorists out here, these theories about what the vaccination is.
- 37:46Speaker 1: They don't have enough test on it. I don't know
- 37:48Speaker 1: enough about it. It's a plot or ployed and look, man,
- 37:53Speaker 1: you know, I've had people tell me, don't be on
- 37:56Speaker 1: your radio show telling black people to get the vaccine. So,
- 38:01Speaker 1: you know, it kind of put me in a twofold
- 38:02Speaker 1: situation because I've been vaccinated. Yeah, but I have family
- 38:09Speaker 1: members who don't want to get vaccinated. You know, I can't.
- 38:13Speaker 1: You know, man, laws come over here a lot. Man.
- 38:15Speaker 1: In the eighties, they got vaccinated, they contracted COVID. It
- 38:20Speaker 1: kept their symptoms down to zero, and they have pre
- 38:23Speaker 1: existing position. We were very grateful for that. And so now,
- 38:27Speaker 1: however you want to feel about the vaccine, you can
- 38:29Speaker 1: feel how you want to feel about it. You have
- 38:32Speaker 1: a belief system about it. I don't care. I took
- 38:35Speaker 1: the vaccine. I'm happy I did it. Do I recommend
- 38:39Speaker 1: it to most people. I have a personal friend of
- 38:41Speaker 1: mine right now who contracted COVID and said, Man, I
- 38:45Speaker 1: wish I'd have had that vaccine because this thing that's
- 38:48Speaker 1: whooping me. Man. Yeah, And we've been taking vaccines all
- 38:51Speaker 1: our lives. When we were in school, we had to
- 38:53Speaker 1: take vaccines against you know, various diseases and stuff, and
- 38:57Speaker 1: now with the COVID, we got to take it too.
- 39:00Speaker 1: But I mean we should shot. Yeah, when you shot,
- 39:05Speaker 1: didn't you? Yeah, still wear your mask in public, please
- 39:09Speaker 1: and wash your hands, all right? Coming up at thirty
- 39:11Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, an Alabama councilman made a
- 39:15Speaker 1: racial slur and it was caught on video. We have
- 39:18Speaker 1: the audio for you coming up right after this. You're
- 39:21Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, a white
- 39:25Speaker 1: city councilman by the name of Tommy Bryant in Tarrant County, Alabama,
- 39:31Speaker 1: was caught on camera using a racial slur during a
- 39:34Speaker 1: city council meeting, and he has refused to apologize for it,
- 39:39Speaker 1: despite calls for his resignation. He is now saying that
- 39:43Speaker 1: he might run from mayor. Tommy Bryant told local news
- 39:48Speaker 1: outlets he used the N word because he was reflecting
- 39:52Speaker 1: something the city's black mayor, Waymon Newton had said during
- 39:55Speaker 1: a previous private meeting. In the footage, Bryant stands up
- 40:00Speaker 1: from his seat in the public council session and addressed
- 40:03Speaker 1: a black female council member by saying, do we have
- 40:07Speaker 1: a house in word in here? Take a listen, please, yes,
- 40:11Speaker 1: and she calls, I mean, do we have a house here? Doe? Hey? Yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 1: Louie would chiefly stand up, y'all were seeing, is right? Car?
- 40:31Speaker 1: That's what miss Freeman is called, That's what the mara
- 40:34Speaker 1: call her. What do y'all think about that? Wow? They
- 40:37Speaker 1: ain't not whooping his ass. We should have heard a
- 40:39Speaker 1: bunch of scufflement after that. I have no words. I
- 40:44Speaker 1: have no words. Steve, See, he's gonna use the fact
- 40:51Speaker 1: that after he said it, he said, that's what the
- 40:54Speaker 1: mayor called her, and he was using it for a
- 40:57Speaker 1: shot back. But the problem is you should have stated
- 41:05Speaker 1: that beforehand, and then you should have substituted it with
- 41:10Speaker 1: the end word. I don't care, man, Let me tell
- 41:13Speaker 1: you something. Let me hear billies, let me explain something
- 41:15Speaker 1: to you. This country we live in today's so racist
- 41:20Speaker 1: and so filled with racism, and so openly blatant about it.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I'm not surprised by that at all, at not even
- 41:30Speaker 1: in the least bit. Now I am with Tommy because
- 41:34Speaker 1: he ain't. Nobody getting the ass whipped is beyond me.
- 41:38Speaker 1: We're supposed to hear something, right, because it should have been.
- 41:41Speaker 1: It have been from furniture moving around in there. Something.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Somebody would hear them scooter the chairback or something. I
- 41:46Speaker 1: didn't hear nothing, But did you hear what he said? Cameras,
- 41:48Speaker 1: y'all got that in the audience. We did hear that
- 41:53Speaker 1: in the background. But the Democratic Party of Alabama is
- 41:57Speaker 1: calling for his resignation because, as they're saying, of course
- 42:01Speaker 1: his remark was completely unacceptable. So they are calling. But
- 42:05Speaker 1: he's saying, you know, he's gonna run for mayor so soon. Huh. Yeah,
- 42:12Speaker 1: we should have been hearing that. Yeah, I don't. I don't,
- 42:16Speaker 1: you know, man, I'm so sick of him, all of them.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I'm just sick and tired of as. I'm not surprised
- 42:23Speaker 1: by no way. But if y'all stupid ass don't vote
- 42:26Speaker 1: him out, y'all y'all deserve to have him. You know,
- 42:29Speaker 1: y'all ain't got no sense to take people out office
- 42:31Speaker 1: like that, And y'all gonna find a reason to keep him,
- 42:34Speaker 1: then go ahead anytime he gonna run for mayor anytthing
- 42:38Speaker 1: about a lot of guy and what and then you
- 42:41Speaker 1: can say it like the mayor said, it is that
- 42:44Speaker 1: what it is is that who you want? Is that
- 42:47Speaker 1: who you want as your mayor? And is that what
- 42:50Speaker 1: he was trying to say? You all have nine is
- 42:52Speaker 1: that what you want? Either way? I want you want,
- 42:54Speaker 1: y'all huh. It was Alabama, Karen County, Alabama. Two old five.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Oh that's two or five Okay, Yeah, I mean come on,
- 43:09Speaker 1: this is crazy. This is twenty twenty one people. Twenty
- 43:16Speaker 1: twenty one is open to floodgates. Yeah, I'm not surprised
- 43:20Speaker 1: at any of this. Man. They just killed George Floyd. Yeah,
- 43:25Speaker 1: they've killed some old people after that. Yeah, I don't
- 43:28Speaker 1: know why. No, your words weren't moving around and what Tommy,
- 43:33Speaker 1: what you talk to nothing? I take it? Sorry, Yeah,
- 43:38Speaker 1: this is um. I mean, they're just I'm just gonna
- 43:42Speaker 1: tell to you like this. If you call it to
- 43:45Speaker 1: me and I hear you, I want you to understand
- 43:47Speaker 1: there's gonna be a reaction to it, and it ain't
- 43:51Speaker 1: gonna be what you think. And it has always been
- 43:53Speaker 1: that way with me, always been with you. I've never
- 43:56Speaker 1: let it go, never let it slide, probably never will.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Praise God, it won't have come to me again because
- 44:01Speaker 1: I don't need to have to prove nothing. I'm not there, dude,
- 44:05Speaker 1: you ain't black. We call me that. Alright, We're moving
- 44:12Speaker 1: on on that note. Up next is is the nephew
- 44:15Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:19Speaker 1: to morning show. Well, coming up at the top of
- 44:23Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry
- 44:26Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject he doesn't like different types
- 44:30Speaker 1: of cookies. We'll get into that in just a little
- 44:33Speaker 1: bit for a minute, but right now the nephew is
- 44:40Speaker 1: in the building because it is time for today's prank.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Phone call. What you got for us? Nef You know
- 44:45Speaker 1: whatfore we do that? I got think about this while

- 51:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna beat the hell out over. I got one
- 51:12Speaker 1: more question for your baby. You got to tell me this.
- 51:15Speaker 1: What is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 51:18Speaker 1: show in the land, Steve Morning Show, Stupid that it's

- 51:37Speaker 1: want somewhere I can take Jackie out in Vegas, like
- 51:40Speaker 1: a nice restaurant. Where can? The Prime has always been
- 51:43Speaker 1: one of my favorite places in Vegas downstairs in the Bellagio. Also,
- 51:49Speaker 1: the wind has a really really nice top of the
- 51:53Speaker 1: line restaurant with like a laser show outside of it.
- 51:59Speaker 1: Not the Fountain. It's a different type of laser show
- 52:03Speaker 1: that they shot. Huh, what are you talking about? Is
- 52:10Speaker 1: it called Lakeside? I don't fantastic, No, surely stopped Jesus.
- 52:18Speaker 1: It's in the Winds. I don't. I don't know the
- 52:21Speaker 1: name of it, but they have a nice little laser show.
- 52:23Speaker 1: That restaurant is nice. I very rarely take Marjorie to
- 52:28Speaker 1: Vegas anymore because I go out there to gamble hard
- 52:31Speaker 1: and all my meals is at the twenty four hour restaurant,
- 52:37Speaker 1: your breakfast. I'm not having any of that. I ain't
- 52:41Speaker 1: got no time for this here, I got to eat,
- 52:43Speaker 1: get back out here. She wants to see shows, wants well,
- 52:47Speaker 1: Margie don't want to go shows. But she don't like losing.
- 52:51Speaker 1: That's her problem. Man. If Margie loser two hundred dollars. Oh,
- 52:56Speaker 1: she she mad at the dealer, the machine. I'm done too.
- 53:01Speaker 1: I'm with her on that. I'm done. I'm playing some
- 53:05Speaker 1: roulette though that I'm gonna do. I'm doing that. Vegas
- 53:10Speaker 1: is open, baby, it's back open. Yep, you're going to

- 53:27Speaker 1: Coming up next, Strawberry Letter. He doesn't like different types
- 53:30Speaker 1: of cookies. We'll get into that right after this. You're
- 53:33Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, it is time
- 53:38Speaker 1: now for today's Strawberry Letter, and listen. If you need
- 53:40Speaker 1: advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting, and more, please
- 53:44Speaker 1: submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve HARVEYFM dot com and
- 53:47Speaker 1: click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your letter
- 53:51Speaker 1: live on the air, just like we're gonna read this
- 53:53Speaker 1: one right here, right now. You never know, it could
- 53:56Speaker 1: be yours. It could be Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:58Speaker 1: We got it. Pour you hear it is a strawberry
- 54:01Speaker 1: letta thank you nephew. Subject he doesn't like. He doesn't
- 54:05Speaker 1: like different types of cookies. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a
- 54:08Speaker 1: thirty five year old married woman and I've been married
- 54:10Speaker 1: for three years, but I've been with my husband for
- 54:13Speaker 1: over eight years. He was supposed to be a one
- 54:16Speaker 1: night stand, but he ended up rocking my world and
- 54:19Speaker 1: I kept going back for more. He grew on me
- 54:22Speaker 1: and I ended up falling in love with him. It's
- 54:24Speaker 1: no secret that he fell in love with me first,
- 54:27Speaker 1: and he loves to tell people how he pursued me
- 54:30Speaker 1: until I gave in to him. He is not the
- 54:32Speaker 1: most handsome man, but he's got a pure heart and
- 54:36Speaker 1: he's a beast in the bedroom. Looking at him, you'd
- 54:40Speaker 1: never guess it. So I don't have to worry about
- 54:42Speaker 1: anyone trying to take my man. The only problem is
- 54:46Speaker 1: my sex drive is higher than his, and he has
- 54:48Speaker 1: told me that he's having a hard time keeping up
- 54:51Speaker 1: with me. He is becoming more and more paranoid that
- 54:54Speaker 1: I'm thinking paranoid, thinking I'm going to cheat on him.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I have told him that there are ways to keep
- 55:01Speaker 1: me happy in the bedroom, but he's not willing to
- 55:04Speaker 1: allow anyone else in our bed. I have a college
- 55:09Speaker 1: friend and we fooled around in college, and my husband
- 55:11Speaker 1: knows her well. I asked him if she can join
- 55:14Speaker 1: us in the bedroom, and he said he didn't want
- 55:17Speaker 1: anything she had to offer. He said he'd rather pick
- 55:20Speaker 1: out a female for us, but he keeps stalling and
- 55:23Speaker 1: putting it off. I'm hoping that I don't end up
- 55:25Speaker 1: cheating on him with my college friend. I was chatting
- 55:30Speaker 1: with a girlfriend recently and she said her man's been
- 55:33Speaker 1: begging her for a menaja ta, So why isn't my
- 55:36Speaker 1: husband interested in one? He was lying in bed the
- 55:39Speaker 1: other night watching an explicit video of a managata and
- 55:43Speaker 1: I asked him if he was taking notes. He got
- 55:46Speaker 1: upset and told me to stop asking him about it.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Why is he depriving me of my fantasy? What's his deal?
- 55:53Speaker 1: What's his deal? Shut up, Tommy, what's his deal? He's
- 55:57Speaker 1: probably thinking, what's your deal? You know? Marriage isn't designed
- 56:02Speaker 1: for other people to participate. It's just not I mean,
- 56:04Speaker 1: at the altar, it's just the two of you taking
- 56:08Speaker 1: your vows. That's why when you step out, it's called cheating,
- 56:11Speaker 1: it's called adultery, it's called an affair or whatever. I mean,
- 56:14Speaker 1: there's nothing in the vows about manage tis you know
- 56:17Speaker 1: that your husband just doesn't want any part of it.
- 56:20Speaker 1: And fantasies, really and truly fantasies are supposed to be
- 56:23Speaker 1: just that. Fantasies are supposed to be in your head.
- 56:26Speaker 1: And you know, I know it's the end thing right now.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Manage tis bringing someone else in your bedroom and all
- 56:33Speaker 1: of that, and you know, talking about it, having no
- 56:36Speaker 1: shame about it. It's especially popular it scenes with young people,
- 56:40Speaker 1: but everyone not everyone. Try to control yourself, Tommy. Not
- 56:47Speaker 1: everyone is into is one of those people. He does
- 56:51Speaker 1: not want to share you. What about that? Aren't you getting?
- 56:55Speaker 1: He doesn't want to share you with anyone, your college friend,
- 56:59Speaker 1: anyone on. He loves you. He doesn't want to partake
- 57:03Speaker 1: in any kind of freakiness you know that you got
- 57:06Speaker 1: going on or that you want to do right now?
- 57:08Speaker 1: He just doesn't. And guess what that is okay, that's okay.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Does that make him a bad husband? No? Does it
- 57:15Speaker 1: make him a boring husband? No? It just means he's
- 57:18Speaker 1: not into it. He's he's not unattentive to you. You
- 57:21Speaker 1: didn't say anything like that. You said he was a
- 57:23Speaker 1: beast in the bedroom. You said that, you know, in life,
- 57:28Speaker 1: we just don't always get everything we want. They're rules
- 57:31Speaker 1: to this. I mean, you're in your husband are just
- 57:33Speaker 1: not on the same page with this. He even asked
- 57:36Speaker 1: you to stop asking him about it, which means he's
- 57:39Speaker 1: not interested. He's not cool with it. You can't wait
- 57:42Speaker 1: for someone to jump in your bed, and he's just
- 57:45Speaker 1: not into that. You got to give him that. It's
- 57:47Speaker 1: a major problem in your marriage and it's going to
- 57:50Speaker 1: continue to be if you keep pressing him on this.
- 57:54Speaker 1: And if you do step out on him and start
- 57:56Speaker 1: cheating or whatever, don't use him as an excuse like
- 57:59Speaker 1: he pushed you out there. This is something you want
- 58:02Speaker 1: to do. You can't control yourself, Okay, So don't blame
- 58:06Speaker 1: this on your husband if you do, and it sounds
- 58:08Speaker 1: like you're headed in that direction, ma'am, Steve, I'm gonna
- 58:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna get some green teat. I don't even want
- 58:14Speaker 1: to go ahead. You're disgusted. Tommy thirty five year old
- 58:18Speaker 1: married woman, been married three years but with a husband
- 58:22Speaker 1: eight now. This was supposed to be a one nice stand,
- 58:25Speaker 1: but he ended up oh rocking her world and so
- 58:29Speaker 1: she kept going back for more, meaning she was sprung.
- 58:33Speaker 1: He grew on me. I ended up falling in love
- 58:35Speaker 1: with him. And there's no secret he fell in love
- 58:37Speaker 1: with me first. But he loves to tell people how
- 58:41Speaker 1: he pursued me until I gave in to him. He
- 58:45Speaker 1: needs this bragging right, and I think we're about to
- 58:47Speaker 1: find out why he's not the most handsome man. He
- 58:53Speaker 1: wants everybody to know that he pursued you until you
- 58:57Speaker 1: gave in. He's sending the message, clears the bell that
- 59:01Speaker 1: looks don't matter. But right after this, you kind of
- 59:05Speaker 1: let us he in on a little secret. He's not
- 59:08Speaker 1: the most handsome man, but he has a pure heart
- 59:11Speaker 1: and he's a beast in the bedroom. Now is he
- 59:16Speaker 1: a beast in the bed room because he's good and now?
- 59:19Speaker 1: Or that's how he looked? You know what she meant.
- 59:24Speaker 1: I don't know nothing. I'm reading it to the letter.
- 59:28Speaker 1: She said. He is not the most handsome man, but
- 59:34Speaker 1: he abase in the bed room. Well, I have a
- 59:40Speaker 1: question for you. Is it cause of what he's doing
- 59:47Speaker 1: or is it how he looked when he's doing it?
- 59:51Speaker 1: Because I'm gonna tell you right now. You just said
- 59:53Speaker 1: he wasn't attractive and he in that making face that
- 59:58Speaker 1: bout damn. That got to be on. I'm all at
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: times you know better now then she then here's another
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: little trip looking at him. You never guess it, wouldn't
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: guess what room hold that thought? Well, however, you is
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: he of your response? Coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: after the hours subject he doesn't like different types of cookies.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: all right, now, come on, Steve, let's recap the letter.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Today's strawberry letter. The subject he doesn't like different types
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: of cookies? Well, this woman to man, what she thought
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: was gonna be a one nice than because obviously he
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: rocked her world and she went back for more, messed
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: around and fell in love with him. Has gone on
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: to admit that he is not the most handsome man,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: but he is a beast in the bed room. I've
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: equated that to you just said he wasn't a handsome man,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: so yell, he's a beast in the bedroom. He's probably
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: a beast on the elevator two. Probably beast sitting over
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: there in his cubic. He probably a beast when he
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: up in that trunk going to work. He probably a
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: beast when he dined at the gym. He probably a
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: beast sitting up at the doctor's office. You just said
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the boy wasn't that attractive, and looking at him, you
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: never guess it. So I don't have to worry about
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: anybody trying to take my man, which is another sign
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: that don't nobody want him? Now this man when she say,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: if you look at him, you can't tell, and so
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: she don't have to worry about nobody trying to take
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: home man, don't don't nobody want it? Looking at him,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: you can't tell he's a beast in the bedroom. You
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: stop and seeing us how you can't get to the
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: bedroom part without getting past where he looked. She now
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: knows that she ain't got to worry about nobody trying
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to take her man. Come do nobody knows that? But
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you and he might as well be a beast in
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: the bed room. Why not hell see other ass dudes. No,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: we got one shot. We got to come up in
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: here clowning. You're saying about yourself too? Wow, Oh yeah,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I ain't never been that attractive. I know that. There
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: ain't no problem with it. I'm always been okay with that.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I understand exactly what that is. I don't make no difference.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: You know, I don't know why Tommy won't come to
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it either. You know I told you several times. You
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: know I know what you Well, okay, well, your little
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: beast looking ass be here beast in the bed room. Here, hey,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: here beast on TV. He's becoming more and more paranoid,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: thinking I'm going to cheat on him. I told him
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: that always to keep me happy in the bedroom. But
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: he's not willing to allow anyone else and bed. Like
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Shirley said, you ever thought this man just loves you?
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: And I got another reason he don't want nobody in
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: the any And let's get into that in a minute.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I have a college friend and we fool to run
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: in college, and my husband knows her well. I asked
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: him if she can join us in the bedroom. He
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: said he didn't want nothing she had to offer. Why
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: because Tommy why see this woman right here obviously ain't
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: got good taste. Now, husband ugly is hell, and I
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: about bet you this little health for ugl I'm thinking
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: this little health will probably looked like mighty Joe Young
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: and her husband. He just said, I don't want nothing.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: She got the offer. Now, when an ugly man tell
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: a woman he don't want nothing, she got the offer.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Whoa she ugly? He said he'd rather pick out a
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: female force right there. Let me pick one out, Mike,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: want your a little ugly ass friend. But he keeps
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: stalling and putting it off. I'm hoping I don't even
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: end up cheating on him with my college friend. I
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: was chatting with the girlfriend. He said, I left this
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: part of the rout, but right here, Um, the only
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: problem is my sex driver is higher than his, and
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: he's told me he's having a hard time keeping up
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: with me. That's the part I left out. And he's
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: becoming more and more paranoid, thinking I'm gonna cheat on him.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: You know, ugly people always think they're gonna get left.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: They always do because he's always thinking she gonna find
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: somebody cute him, which is easy, you know, because when
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you ain't attractive. Damn there, everybody cute him. Damn there,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: everybody boy. So she didn't want want to hit. He
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: said he'll pick out a female, but he keeps stalling.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I'm hoping I don't end up cheating on him. I
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: was chatting with a girlfriend recently. She said her man
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: been begging her phone minagti. So why isn't my husband
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: interested in one? Because maybe your husband just really did
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: want to be married. He told you that he was
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: lying in bed the other night watching an explicit video
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: of a manage a twat, not to manage twat. Now
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: listen to me, he ugreed, Right, he got to watch
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the video. That's where he learned what to do. No no, no,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: no no. He get these moves on what he gonna
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: do to his wife from these movies. Okay, that's how
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I hear best in bed, he didn't picked up a
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: couple couple moves. And now I asked if he was
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: taking notes. He got upset and told me to stop
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: asking him about this. Why is he depriving me of
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: my fantasy? What is his deal? Well, later, like I said,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: maybe he won'ted just you, And it was amazing to me.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Is you got what Most people are looking for somebody
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: that wants them and only them. But you don't want
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: that because you greedy, you got a high sex drive.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You want to bring some other people into the bedroom.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: And then your girlfriend who said her boyfriend big and
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: hell nj twine. So why ain't my usben interested? It's
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: a lot of me and ain't interested in that. You
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: ain't coming to my house. I don't want that. I'm
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: not sharing my wife. Maybe the man just don't want
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: to share his wife with no damn body. Damn that's
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: all that is. Lady ask y'all to help her get
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: some cookies, and y'all not helping her get the cookies.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Y'all doing something, man, But go ahead, don't do what
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you're doing. She didn't ask you that, She said, why
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: is he depriving me of the fantasy? See that's why
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: you don't do the straw bed. Now you just do
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: what you're good at doing, which is the damn planks.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: All right, leave us. You're comments Today's Strawberry Letter on
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Instagram and Steve Harvey FM, and check out the Strawberry
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand coming up in ten minutes. Girls.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood from The Talk Right after this, you're listening
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on. Steve introduced our
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: girl from the talk. She is here, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Sheryl Underwood, Steve Harvey, I've been waiting to talk to
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: you about this, and I don't know who else to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: talk to about this. How do we get people to
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: get vaccinated, especially our people. We three times as likely
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: to be hospitalized and twice as likely to die. And
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: if we're gonna get back to what we want to
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: be about, you know, we want to be out, We
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: want to go places, we want to do things, cruises, parties,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: everything concerned for us to get out there and to
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: get back to our grind, to get back to work.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: How what do we need to say those of us
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: that holding a microphone got some influence on people. You know?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: How do we get our churches involved? How do we
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: get our community about When one of my first jobs
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Chrulotte Scribberry in Chicago was the Hard Association at thirty
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: six and Whack of Drive right out of college, had
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: got by degree and I was working at the Hard
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Association and we was doing this church based hypertension program
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: where we were going into churches and talking to people
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: about high blood pressure. How do we get back to
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: that discussion. How do we give people to trust that
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: they need that it's too late, Tommy, when you are
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: about to be intubated, to go give me the vaccine.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: It's too late. It's too late. So what do we
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: need to do. Here's what I've seen. I've had personal
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: friends of mine who are in power and know people
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: who are in power, who saying, Steve, please don't direct
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: black people to get this vaccine. And it kind of
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: had a little effect on me because you know, of
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: course I respect so many people. But after watching what
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: this does, having received the vaccine myself, and I know
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: my in laws have received the vaccine, and had they
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: not when they contracted COVID from their nurse, they would
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: not be here right because that vaccine prohibited those symptoms
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: from setting in and they have pre existing conditions. I'm
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: no longer on the fence about this. I have been
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: saying it from the get goal. We need to get vaccinated.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I understand you have these theories in your concerns, but
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I have a close friend of mine right now who
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: is really really battening with COVID. He refused to get
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: the vaccine. He is struggling man and the ten day
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: quarantine has not worked for him. I got how you
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: may feel, whatever theory you may have developed. I got
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: the government has done us wrong many times. But this
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: is a pretty big issue for do these many people wrong, black, white, yellow, red,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and brown. Get your ass vaccinating. Quit talk about you
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: don't know what's in it. Yeah, Hey, Cheryl, thank you
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: for bringing that up. We definitely need to talk about
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: that more and keep it on top top of mind.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: coach time, Dion Sanders. We'll talk about that when we
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: come back. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: All right, So this story right here is catching fire.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Jackson State University's head football coach, Dion Sanders our friend
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: and family member, you know, Dion, who named self coach Prime,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: took issue with a reporter after the reporter referred to
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: him simply as Dion during Swack Media Day on Tuesday.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Coach Prime said, you don't call Nick Saban Nick, So
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: don't call me Dion. If you call Nick Saban, Nick,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: you'll get cussed out on the spot. So don't do
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: that to me. Treat me like Nick. The white reporter
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: proceeded to call Coach Prime by his first name a
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: second time, and that's when Coach Prime ended the interview
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: and walked to another news outlet to be interviewed. Take
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: a listen. Here's the exchange. Heydon, I was just wondering
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: if you could. Oh, let's back up a little bit.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: You don't go Nick Saban? Nick, don't you don't know,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you don't know, you don't. That's a lat You go, Nick, Nick?
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: You know you get cussed out on the spot, So
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: don't do that. Treat me like bick. Yeah. Um, just
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: we out and ain't nothing wrong with that. We out? Yeah,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: you know, man, respect to see and then see the
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: little white dude see you you you you you you would.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you you cannot do this to Nick Saban.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: You can't do it to Lou Holtz. You can't do
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: it to no college coach. He is coach. Everybody refers
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: to him as coach. Every reporter refers to him as coach.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: It's a sign, it's a job title that gets respect
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: from the players, the staff, everybody. Coach. He deserves to
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: be called coach. And he's exactly right. You would not
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: do that, and that boy that the white Dudel is lying.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: So when you're a black man and you asked for
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: respect and then they still disrespect you, you should get
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: up and walk out. And he lucky he wasn't talking
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: to coach Steve because Outa did what Nick Saban would
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: have done. I'd have cutted your ass out on the spot.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: See Dion here on cuss Dean. Don't use no profanity, man,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I don't care how mad he gets. Don't use profanity.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I'm not I ain't like that. I would have gave
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: it to you in your damn face. We let me
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: tell you something you couldn't play mine on the radio.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: That was very disrespectful. Why don't we let you go
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: to the next uh interview with Dion and let me Dan?
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I got this hum So am I talking to Dean
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: or Steve? Which other I one it is? I just
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: wanted to ask you know what you say? Would I
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: wanted to know if Deanna houses team gonna beat this
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: coming man? Hold on, hold on, hold hold on. Didn't
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: the man just ask your ass now to call him
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Dion coach Prime? Or is mister Sanders a coach Sanders
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: or coach Prime or coach Dia. But you're gonna put
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: some respect on his knee, but Steven's names and you're
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: gonna get your ass birdman up in here. Keep running
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: your damn mouth. Boy. Oh god, now, Dan Sanders, Coach Prime,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: later addressed the situation by tweeting, never walked out of
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: media day. I prolonged my time to answer another question,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: and the person thought it was cute to address me
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the way he did. So I dropped the call and
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: went to the next outlet. As a head coach, he
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: was merely asking for someone to put some respect on
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: his name. Period. That's all it was. That's all it. Well,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: he would have answered the questions been happy to No, no, no,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: don't disrespect that that white boy lied. It's no way

- 1:14:18Speaker 1: as we were raised just to respect our elders, period,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: you know, and people in authority and all of that.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: You know, Oh, you little post little reporter, you ain't
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: going nowhere. Dog primed, haven't been too well? Series didn't

- 1:15:15Speaker 1: So she doodled on the side of her daddy's car.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Hygi posted an image of her artwork on his Instagram story,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: writing my daughter got me ft up. How she disrespect
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: the Lamborghini like that. It wasn't long before he posted
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: another video of his daughter, who's two or three years old,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: wiping his card down with the caption clean up, clean
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: up and a bunch of heart eyes and laughing emojis.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: So it came off. Yeah, yeah, it came okay, yeah, yo,

- 1:16:04Speaker 1: But I'm gonna say this picture so you'll know why
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: it's happening At six all she saw a nice little
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: clean white board. Yeah, look like an all to have
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: something on it. And I know she thought it was funny.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: You know, she was laughing. What if you're one of
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: your little grandkids. Did that's Steve to one of your
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: big slow cars? Are they're gonna get the ass put
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: off the property? Well that's so wrong. We'll have more
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: it is time for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building. This one's from Nicki and Charleston,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: South Carolina. Old you read it. We're gonna ask everybody
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: to pay attention to go ahead and share, Okay, everybody, Tommy,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: my brother and his wife came to visit me for
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: the Fourth of July. My brother barbecued and I invited
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: a few of my friends, my close friends. My brother
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: does not like the guy I'm dating, so I didn't
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: invite him. Instead, I took him a plate. Afterwards, when
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: I got back home, my brother yelled and screamed about
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: me going out of my way to make sure a
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: grown man ate. He told me that I've got the
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: dating roles reversed and I need to fall back and
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: let the man lead. How do I fall back but
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: still let this guy know that I like him. I
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: don't really think you did anything wrong by taking your
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: guy at your dating a plate. The problem is your
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: brother don't like him for whatever the reason. Now, I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: don't know if it's because you're his sister and he
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: don't think nobody's good enough for you, or he just
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: got a bone to pick with this guy. But either way,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: you already didn't invite the guy over because your brother
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: was there and you know he don't like him, so
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: you took him a plate. Now he all man that
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: you for taking him a plate, but you liked the guy.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: He has to respect the fact that you like Thank you.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Now what you should do is find out from your
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: brother why he don't like him so much, because now
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: maybe your brother knows something you don't know and yelling,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: and maybe you need the same information that he has,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: because he may have some information as a man, because
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: we do have information as men about other men that
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: women overlook. Because you think he cute, where your brother
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: don't think he cute. Well, he didn't up with the guy.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: He just said, fall back and let the man lead lead.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Why she took him a plate. But y'all, what y'all
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: don't understand is this is a plate of reals. That's
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: what this is. I know when people get a man
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: when it's real. This is real. You don't know abody
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: like you to lead take reals out of my house.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: You're taking the wrong thing that's not supposed to be
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: on a to go plate. All right, So moving on.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Billy and Kingston, Jamaica says, I'm a thirty one year
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: old married woman and I fell at work three years ago.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: For the past three years, I've been in illegal battle
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: to get reimbursed from my medical expenses. I finally got
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: my settlement and I put it on a new account
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: that my husband doesn't know about. Keeping this a secret
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: is the only way for me to keep my mooching
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: mother in law from begging us for money. Is it
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: okay to have a private account or should we combine
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: all of our money? Good question. Nah. I recommend married
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: people have their own bank account. I've said it many
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: times on this show. Now, you've gotten your money from disaccount.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: But if you put it in the bank and that
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: mother in law find out, she's gonna beg him out
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: of it, and he gonna give it to a because
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: that's his mother. So it's best that you keep it
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: over there and go on and just show up with
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: your little purses and shoes and coming up, it is
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and we'll have some
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: closing remarks from the anybody said that the conversation? Yeah,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: the three of us will do it at forty nine
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, coming up right after this. You're
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: listening Dave Show. All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Thursday. It's been
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: a good day, a fun day. Die, what a day?
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: What a day? Yeah? Yeah, what's on your mind? Steve?
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Are you still mad about that Dion Sanders story. Yeah,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: it can't tick me off. Man. You know what I
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: knew it was. I'm gonna start going to these things.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: We're playing time as his alter ego. So Dia gonna
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: answer all football related questions you ask us anything else?
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Were you cuss? I got this, Don? What's the new
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: season looking like? Dion? Wait? Hold on, I got this dog.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: We're not playing a damn game that your ask gonna
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: be able to report on? Are we understood? The question
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: was for Dion. I just wanted to know one more time,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: one more time, if you're furded his main as Dion,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: then you got to deal with Dion Dog. And that's
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: who I'm is. I'm Deon Dog, Deon Dog. Okay, look
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: a lot like Steve Harvey. We just want to talk about.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Let's be fine. We all football questions go to Dion.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Go ahead, go ahead, coach? Okay, thank you soon? Let
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: me hey, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold Do
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: you hear me? Call him coach? Did you hear me?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Jes now, call him coach? I heard you, sir. Now
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: you're gonna come up here here and be mighty white.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: And now you ain't gonna refer to the man a coach.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: So who are you to be a problem up in here?
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Who are you? I'm dog, I ain't gonna tell you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: the more to worry about it. You ain't gonna call
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: me coach? Okay, alright, you call me d A. All right?
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: We want to ask about the quarterback that Deon has
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: called me da because I get in that ass. Kay, um,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: matter of fact, Dad, you can just call me dag
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: d G Dad. What's that that ass get him? Now?
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: Gonna come on what you need? Pimp? Okay, pimp? Wow.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I just want to ask Dion, do you think that
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: this year you're looking promised? You know what I mean?
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: You know what? Shall I see you right now? Man?
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: You're just gonna keep on with this respect? What do
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: you What do you mean? We know where you? Paul?
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I saw a little press pass in your window, Sir.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: You threatening me? I just said, we know where you, Paul.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I understand that. I'm asking, are you silver for focus?
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Sound from me? Oh? So what are you saying? Because you,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Paul right next to the role I saw you when
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you pulled up. All right, I'm asking what are you saying, sir? No? No,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: and what is I'm saying, what does it sound like?
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I'm saying it sounds like you're threatening. Man. I just
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: want to get very good clarification here exactly. You call
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: this man coach or you don't call his man at all.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Okay, have your ass a nice day.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: But I'm not done interviewing him, sir, Oh you're done
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: with us though, coach, don't talk. Nobody call him Dan.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I call him coach. But but the problem is his
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: name is Dion, So I'm not being disrespectful. His name
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: is Dion, So show me got all that. Call him
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: don without calling coach. He will go ahead, you away,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: and we ain't going out in the parking lot. We're
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: gonna have it right here. It's gonna some furniture move
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: around up in here. Go ahead, go ahead and say it.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Say I bet you won't. I bet you say it.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Say it. I'm saying I say it. I wish you
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: would see it, say it. I wish you would. I'll
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: swear to God, see thank you. So what else going on? Guys?
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Got that straight? Now? Well? You know, since we're on
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: the sports subject, you know the summer Olympics in Tokyo,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: could still be canceled even at this late date. Steve Um,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: you know, all these athletes are testing positive for COVID.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Sponsors are pulling out of Friday's opening ceremony, testing positive
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: for COVID, testing positive for marijuana. Here, what have it?
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Cardboard bits? They can't have sex? Yeah, the Tokyo chief
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: can't rule it out to Shiro Mudo says, we have
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: agreed that based on the coronavirus situation, we will convene
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: five party talks again. At this point, the coronavirus cases
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: may rise or fall, so we will think about it
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: what we should do when the situation arises. So far, though, well,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: there's a lot of people. Sixty seven people accredited to
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: be at the Games have tested positive in Japan lacks
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: sixty seven, Yes, sixty seven. That's a lot of people.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: Japan lags behind much of Asia in vaccination rates, and
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: the delta variant is spreading quickly there. They need to
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: go ahead and shut that down. They need to shut
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: it down. Yeah, they really do. Our country's pulling out certainly.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I haven't heard any countries pull
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: out yet, but I wouldn't be surprised, you know, sponsors
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: are pulling out. I mean, people are just getting sick.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: You know. Well, you know it wouldn't hurt them to
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: hold it off again, you know. Plus you know it
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: would let that girl get a chance to run, you know.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: I mean that ain't the only reason. I'm sure that
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: I'm saying that, but I just I just we all
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: want to see a rundo. Yeah, I mean, and there
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: are other great athletes in it as well, in track
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: and field. You know, we like the Olympics and everything,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: but I don't like them enough to see people getting
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: sick and you know from Corona, right. Yeah, I don't
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: know what they're gonna do. I really don't, so yeah,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: it'll be okay either way. I would like to see
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: the Olympics, but well, you know, they gotta do something
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: because it's the twenty six, isn't it. That's what it starts,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: I believe it is. Is that on the Thursday, next Thursday,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: I don't know. They gotta make some quick decisions then. Yeah,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: oh yeah, this is serious. I mean, time is of
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: the essence here. Yeah, well, whatever it is, it'll be
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: fun one way to other. Just take consideration safety of
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: the athletes in general. Public. Hey, listen, y'all. That doesn't
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: for us today. Y'all talk to God. He loved to
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: hear from y'all. Stay in peace until then we'll see
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: y'all to mob that for all. Steve Every contests no
