- 0:03[SPEAKER_05]: The only thing that we hang manners for that we put up around this building is world championships.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_05]: And you know the message clear, you know, we just have to play better.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody wants to take a chip and dip it in that sauce.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_04]: There's no one to say.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_05]: Talk to you in the better place.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but we've got a lot of fucking way to talk to the bull.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_06]: What's up, guys?
- 0:32[SPEAKER_06]: This is Jeff Anis.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_05]: You're listening to 4 man's Packers Hot Dance.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_05]: Hello and welcome to another edition of Perkins Packers Podcast, the one Packers Podcast in.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_05]: This day reminds I am Spencer joining the Super Todd Todd and the Packers lose 34 to 26 in Denver, Colorado.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_05]: It really sucked because things happen that affect more things than just the game.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_05]: Packers still have a 90% chance to make the playoffs according to the New York Times.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_05]: Not all is lost, but I think expectations probably change for most fans tied all is lost.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_05]: How did you have fun watching the game?
- 1:16[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_06]: I had fun the first half, second half was hell, and I hated every minute of it.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_05]: It was a really good first half, second half game, because first half it's like good.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_05]: We looked really good, and even after the first drive of the second half, it was like damn, we're up like 9 points against them once he had an AFC, and then we obviously fall apart in multiple ways.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_05]: If we win two games, we're for sure on the playoffs.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_05]: We can clinch, did you see this?
- 1:43[SPEAKER_05]: So you hear this?
- 1:44[SPEAKER_05]: We can clinch a playoffs about if we win on Saturday and the Lions lose whenever they play and they're playing the Aaron Rodgers lead Steelers.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_05]: It's been hot.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, especially this week.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_05]: Did you see Joe Web Joe Barry said to him after the game?
- 1:58[SPEAKER_05]: I did.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_05]: You're the goal.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm sure it was like half-ess apologizing Like I'm sorry for not putting together a better defense when you're around outside of the 90s game where we actually held in like 14 points Remember the fuck it was but
- 2:12[SPEAKER_05]: Denver Kind of a house of horrors for at least playing them three of the most consequential losses and Packers history You can you can pin on the Broncos one up so the 98 Super Bowl Two twenty-fifty first football memory.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, I don't even have that
- 2:29[SPEAKER_05]: you are a year older than me.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_05]: The 2015 loss where I think was weighed Phillips put together the blueprint unlike how to stop Aaron Rodgers than he really is right.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_05]: Kind of struggled for Aaron Rodgers, the rest of that year and going on after.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_05]: And then obviously this one with my capacitance tearing his ACL, a bunch of other guys getting hurt and then just the whole trajectory of the season changing.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_05]: Not fun.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_05]: We'll obviously get into that.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_05]: Tony Romo, what would you think of him?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_06]: That is fine.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I I didn't like him.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_05]: He I feel like before when he was pretty solid He was like buzzed like he was buzzed and now it's like he sounds hung over during these games now
- 3:10[SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna be honest with you, I think I've gotten pretty good at just like tuning them out when he talks too much, so I don't even like...
- 3:16[SPEAKER_06]: I don't like heroine talk that much to be honest with you.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_05]: He wouldn't fucking stop talking about bone mixes of legs.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_05]: Like he just wouldn't stop, especially the second half like, look at how much he's using his legs.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_05]: It's like... Yeah, Tony, we get it.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he said at the beginning of the game, he's like, bone X is gonna need to use his legs, so he's like fixated on it.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_06]: I know he will need to use his legs, and so I do.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_05]: This episode will have our big takeaway.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_05]: We'll talk about the offense defense.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_05]: Take news.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to say talk about it for still a Super Bowl team Who replaces who with injuries?
- 3:46[SPEAKER_05]: Ed policy potentially restructuring the front office organization back to what it was before Some spending packer's trivia and then we will preview the bears game after having a preview of the bears game two weeks ago But Todd I mean again, we've been doing this more lately.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_05]: What was your big takeaway with this game?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, take away, um, I'm going to save this on offense.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_06]: We are one injury away from everything falling apart.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_06]: It seems like on the offensive line.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I should say it offensive line.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, just on the offensive line, like Zack Tom goes out and the rush just like,
- 4:27[SPEAKER_05]: eroded yeah for the rest of that quarter and then the fourth quarter it was a i mean not a well mitigated disaster but it was just bad uh there it was like the third-highest rated again you go back forth on pff on offense they'd canard as the third-highest ranked player for the packers on on some
- 4:47[SPEAKER_06]: gosh, that's interesting because the fourth quarter was just did I did they just figure it out?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know But the the pressure was coming from the right side if I remember right right.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_06]: That's what it sure seemed like So I don't know if that's a communication issue or yeah, there was some LaFlor was in today too.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_05]: There were some assignment issues upfront
- 5:09[SPEAKER_06]: Whatever the case may be, the offense just feels a little fragile with the offensive line.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_06]: And then on defense, I don't know, it just feels like there needs to be so much.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_06]: So many people have to step up to fill the void of my comparisons.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_06]: That's a bad takeaway, but that's just the truth.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and we'll talk about it more.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I'm sure Jeff Hathley will go back to simulated pressure stuff he was doing last year.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_05]: I think Adrian Cooper is going to be a big villain for that because I'm sure we'll split him more, but yeah.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, overall it's like replacing persons and then off and to kind of struggling one without Christian Watson, two without Zack Tom, not good.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_05]: Aaron Banks didn't have a great game either, but we'll talk about that too.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_05]: My big takeaway.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_05]: And did you see this quote that Matt will forehead after, like I said, why are we doing this if it doesn't hurt?
- 6:00[SPEAKER_05]: Like the most emo, whatever type of quote that you could get from your head coach.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_05]: What's the context someone asked him?
- 6:09[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure of something about Parsons or whatever, but I don't know.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_05]: Matt Matt being in his feelings who's a lot more chipper at Tuesday's pressur but still just a little I do think it's a funny over encapsulating.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_05]: It's a very like deep thing to say as a football coach But it's like come on like I remember when we lost to the eagles He was like oh, it's about how you balance much such as in in life It's how you bounce back and it's like when he said that I was like Jesus Christ I want to fucking end it because that was
- 6:38[SPEAKER_06]: I think such a football guy thing to say though it's like if you're a football guy you're like a quate football to life.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_05]: But like saying as is life it's like that is I don't know how football guy that is but
- 6:54[SPEAKER_05]: one of my big takeaways was just how deflated the team was after the Parsons injury where I don't like same.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_05]: I was also deflated.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_05]: Be yes.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_05]: Be like Mickey Mouse, Disney, Disney vacation of how you view the team.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_05]: It's like
- 7:09[SPEAKER_05]: I wanted to see like matte floor gather the troops or Jordan love get the guys together But they kept going to the sideline and it's just everyone looked like you know They're fucking dog got ran over by a car or something It was just absolutely brutal and it's like I know and Rogers wouldn't rally the troops per se But I feel like they were always like ready to fight for him just so that he they wouldn't get yelled at or called out Jordan love I think it's nice like that's kind of like Rogers going down
- 7:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but it like maintains a standard when it doesn't seem like Jordan love really Did much of anything to rally the troops or anyone on the defense We're shungiri apparently after the game talked to the defense event group and said, you know, we got a We got a really perform now with Mike a being down blah, blah, blah, but it's like the floor two and it's dumb to complain about something like this When you don't have you know, we're not in that locker, but I was like, I just
- 8:02[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we at the end of the game, even we were down eight points like that game was never out of question throughout the entire until the clock ran zero, so I don't know if it's deflating in a lot of ways.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it was it was a huge downer like when you see him go off and then like you watch the replay and you see his like knee and shin Like the the ricochet that you see happen like when someone tears their killies or when someone blows out their knee and like did like I feel like over years of watching football injuries just on TV Like you get a pretty good feel of like oh, that's really bad like we don't know what it is like I know it's his knee or whatever, but like
- 8:43[SPEAKER_06]: Like when you you can see like the movement where there's not supposed to be movement and someone's lag and you're like, Oh, he's not coming back.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because he was standing on the sidelines and my wife was like, Oh, maybe I'll come back.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, I don't it's a non-contact knee injury and watching the replay.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, I think he's
- 9:00[SPEAKER_05]: he just was able to walk off the field and when when it was the wide shot and he heard Jim Nancy oh Parsons is down and you're like oh no and then like him or Roses was a non-contact or like oh no and then it goes to him and you see the replay and like oh fucking the weird thing for me watching it
- 9:19[SPEAKER_05]: because usually it's like players are sad or, you know, disappointed, somber, some of them are in a line of pain.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_05]: Parsons just looked mad.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_05]: You know, like it was a very, it was a very different reaction to an injury like that than usually.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_05]: So it maybe like Tyre Kills was very weird earlier this year when he was like clapping his hands and looked like excited.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_05]: And Parsons was kind of the opposite end of that where he, it's like he was mad at his body for given out on him.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_06]: Has he said anything about has he tweeted or anything?
- 9:52[SPEAKER_05]: He did he did tweet something out saying he will rise again And then he put out a separate tweet two with like a lie in with one eye Like with the scar over the other one and it's a like yeah, it's a September so his goal is to back face it last year Dude 20 sack year incoming
- 10:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, if he continues, if first five years having at least 12 sacks, if he can do it again next year, that would be really, really impressive.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he probably wouldn't come back player there, but we might be getting ahead of ourselves on that.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_06]: I, I just hope that the injury doesn't, like, forever slow has, because like, his game is explosive this.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_06]: Like, if you, I don't know, Christian Watson came back.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_06]: He looks explosive still, so I have hope, and he came back super fast, so that's good.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_05]: but like sometimes you see guys they blow their knee and they're never the same again and it's like very bad very optimistic yeah and I mean guys like uh joy boasts one of the boasts brothers he tore his ACL and he had like three consecutive pro ball seasons after that there's yeah there's more good than bad for recovering and him being 20 especially lately yes and being like a freak like I you expect him to be ahead of
- 11:11[SPEAKER_06]: He is more, he is more Adrian Peterson freak than Roshan Garry.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 11:19[SPEAKER_06]: Like Roshan Garry post is just like his body is not there.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_05]: Offence.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, God, the game started great.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of gold pack gold was in Denver that you could hear multiple times.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_05]: That was pretty cool.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_05]: Jordan love it.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he started great.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_05]: Again, I mean, most first half yards, I think in his career, he was 17 for 22 to 15, one touchdown, a 123 pass rating.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_05]: and five different players had a catch of at least 18 yards in the first half.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_05]: He finished 24 for 42, 76, the one touched down two picks.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_05]: Not very good, coming out of the second half, our second series there where he aired it up and that got picked.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_05]: Not very good.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_05]: When there was good things too, he had that scrambling play on fourth down.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_06]: He had that, yeah, that one was really nice actually, I thought, I didn't think he was getting away.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_05]: He had that other scramble where he had the silly body that just gave out on him and where I think he ran it for like 20 yards I feel like even what was it.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_06]: Well, there was one.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, 24 hours.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_05]: 24 hours.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_05]: So that was pretty cool.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_05]: And then I mean, he had a lot of good passes.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_05]: He had an outside one to dobs.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_05]: That was good.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Matthew golden those passes look really crisp.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_05]: But then it was, I mean, the Wix I&T where he dropped it, and then it got picked off, not a good ball of still, I mean, Wix still should have caught it, but a little black, you know, on these big moments would be nice to see more out of him, but Jordan love, you know, it was a, one, one for four in the red zone too.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_06]: He, yeah, I don't,
- 13:02[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't feel like he was playing a bad game.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_06]: I just felt like, I don't know.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_06]: There is always the bad throws that you see from him from time to time, but I also felt like the receivers were just like, I don't know, magnifying right.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_06]: The bad throws, the Watson one is tough.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, like the timing of it's tough.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I have her throws it.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_06]: And like the timing of like, is that the time to take a shot?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_06]: Which whatever, I don't know.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_06]: It's like,
- 13:30[SPEAKER_06]: Again, I sit here and I say we got to let Jordan love throw the ball and then right it really pressize more Matt.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_05]: So it's like, and then people get on Matt for like coasting in the second half and we aired it out the second drive about the second half.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know, it's.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's a average to the low average game for love for me.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I would agree with that receivers.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, we'll talk about Christian Watson first.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_05]: He did finish three for 29, the long of 19 very early on.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_05]: He had the the staple, the like tenured out for the first down and I thought about it after we recorded last week, but I don't think we had any of those against the bears and I bet we
- 14:13[SPEAKER_05]: attempt them because the bears have so many picks this year and that's a very interceptably tough throw.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_05]: Right, so I wonder how much of that was like risk adverse.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_05]: Very curious to see if we see any of those this week.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_05]: You had the huge pick up before the end of the half after we were like
- 14:34[SPEAKER_05]: backed up after a special team's penalty, of course, and it got us like some breathing room there, and then obviously when he got hurt that sucked.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't think Christian Watson's ever gotten hurt in the game and came back into it.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_05]: It was announced as a chest injury.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_05]: He went to the hospital after the game, was discharged and flew home with a team.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_05]: There's a chance to play this week, but with a guy like Christian in 99, I'm I'm pushing myself, but it's like,
- 15:01[SPEAKER_05]: you just knew he wasn't coming back obviously he was in a lot of pain too, but it's like he doesn't come back when he gets hurt and it like if he plays this week it'll be like so why couldn't you have just came back in that last game?
- 15:15[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know I'm being overly critical here because he is like the most important guy on offense besides Jordan love or Josh Jacob probably but I don't know just I hope he's back this week that would be huge but we'll have to
- 15:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I I don't know what to think about him and his injuries like for like for one usually when he's injured it's been as hamstring which is like I get you not putting a guy back in for his hamstring.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_06]: But I also do get to like not putting him back in with a shoulder injury to Well, it's like maybe he just doesn't know like maybe he's like, I don't know what's wrong with it And the doctors like well, we're not putting you back in like I'm very glad it wasn't a broken collarbone Cause that was obviously everyone's first thought I'm sure about it
- 16:02[SPEAKER_06]: He's the one to take one of those guys.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't, people brought that up right away, but like when when I just remember like when Rogers broke his collarbone, he was in pain.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and Christian did not look, he looked like something's wrong.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, people, I feel like Rogers was kind of like arriving a little bit.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_06]: Anyways, I was just my initial thought.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_05]: Very important.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_06]: This is weird.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_06]: Like he's not, he isn't looked like he's in pain.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_05]: uh... read had a huge pick up on third down just white ass open picked up like thirty uh... then soon after that he had another one where he ran out of the back field and breaks a tackle for the first which we haven't seen a lot of again that yards after catch yards after contact that we don't get from a lot of receivers uh... golden i mean i thought he had a really good game he was tied with read with fifty five yards uh... as the top passcatcher
- 16:50[SPEAKER_05]: just really crisp routes the nice nice to go from like in that stadium a shaded area to a very bright area and still catching the ball i thought that was huge um the PI call on one of the white corners in the league i thought this was hilarious so and i thought that i thought that was a pretty
- 17:12[SPEAKER_06]: Like I do wonder like at the letter of the rule is that a flag you can throw or does that not matter I like the hand like grabbing his hand.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_06]: I think you can't What they don't usually throw the flag.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_05]: What does someone does that they just let it go But that that same white corner.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_05]: So the only white corners I know of our him and Cooper to Jean Cooper and it's funny how the guy Washington have one to maybe
- 17:42[SPEAKER_05]: But the one of the white guys, you know, this one on the Broncos leads the league in DPI's, like he has to, you know, a white dude playing corner in NFL.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_06]: There, okay, there's three Cupertagene Riley Moss for the Broncos and then Ethan Bonner with a Delphins.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, there you go.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_05]: I wonder if he actually plays.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_05]: And then the legend Jason Chorn.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_05]: Golden two on third down in the fourth huge need of that to keep the drive going when nothing was going right.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_05]: You only played 35% of the snaps behind, dobsery, Wix and Watson, Bow Mountain had nine total snaps.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_05]: It felt like it was more than that.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_05]: Romeo dobs had the one fade away from the love probably's best throw the game for your pickup of 26 and then Wix like we talked about dropped that one on fourth down.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_05]: But a pretty average game overall from their seaters.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_06]: things were going great like it.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_06]: I it's just all fell apart and midway through the four or third quarter and the fourth.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't know.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_06]: I'm trying to remember did Micah get her into the third and then things just felt like they'd be very young to remember wherever that was.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_06]: So.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_05]: Titans, Luke Musgrave 4 for 52 was pretty good in this game.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_05]: He had that huge diving catch when we were BAD.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_06]: That was a nice catch.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_05]: And then he rolled forward for like two or three more yards, which was nice.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_05]: He's not going to get yards after contact, but he will roll for a couple of three yards for ya.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_05]: He had another huge one at the end of the half that got us in a field goal range.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_05]: Josh Wiley got concussed early on.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_05]: So we were only down to two tight ends out on his feet.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, when when he just went limp, it's like, oh boy, so we'll have to see if he's able to play this week.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_06]: Also, do you think it was possible for Josh to play that any worse?
- 19:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, I didn't love the play call either, but it's just he got he got hurt on the play.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know anywhere else.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_05]: Josh's friend, Josh Jacobs also got banged up with that sore knee that he's been playing through.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_05]: Fitzpatrick actually did out snap, Musgraven this game 2-50-46-2034, but that's probably more of a wildly thing than anything else.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_05]: Sure, that'll answer for the Titans running backs.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_05]: Josh Jacobs, I mean the touchdown catch, a very cool Aaron Jones ask in the corner of the end zone like once he caught the ball, you knew it wasn't coming out of his hands.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_06]: That was like amazingly strong hands for Josh Jacobs, like a dude who went how many years without a receiving touchdown.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_06]: And then he has that defenders hand between his, that was super impressive.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_06]: And his, what did he have?
- 20:20[SPEAKER_05]: Like a 40 yard run for the touchdown to like, one of those where it's like, I was like, oh, this is a good run.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_05]: And then it turned into a great run.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_05]: All those things are running away from dudes.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_05]: It's like he is deceptively fast.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like we need to pair him with like a big between the tackles downhill runner and he would be like the perfect compliment because like Josh Jacobs in space is terrifying.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_05]: Josh Jacobs between the tackles I'm like true, but I think I think you want more of a wind guy than Josh Jacobs.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_05]: I mean that's what we were trying to do with my shoulders.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_06]: 100% would have agreed but the more I watch him this season like as he gets older I'm like He's almost just like so good in space.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't want him between the tackles like I want because he's always trying to jook in the middle in between the garden the center And I'm like there's no room to jook like you gotta just hit the hole
- 21:15[SPEAKER_05]: And with that long run too, he was like untouched, which never happens.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_05]: He has like some of the most yards after contact in the league.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_05]: And then on that long run too, it was funnily to see dobs like before the play even started.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_05]: He was like pointing out to Beau, who to block.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_05]: That was pretty funnily to see.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_05]: That was funny.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_05]: He did finish 12 carries 73 yards of 6.1 average, 1 touchdown of metal floor after the game so they should have gave him the ball more, but he's also being dug up.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_05]: I doubt he's out of practice much this week, but hopefully he plays.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_05]: I assume he will play.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_05]: It's the right call.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't need to practice at this point.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_05]: Available Wilson, not a great game.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, to stats he finished with two carries for three yards, he had a terrible series where he must return, ran it out of the end zone still.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_05]: He missed a block early in that drive on a, I think it was a screen pass, and then he got the ball and ran it the back of one of his teammates, which was pretty bad.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_05]: After the game.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_05]: So it was like the weakest.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_05]: That was like butt fumble.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_06]: Like how did you fall over from that?
- 22:16[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_05]: and going into the game too he popped up on the injury report Saturday or Sunday that he was sick and then he posted an Instagram like flu game and a picture of Jordan and then after the game he tweeted this out and of course deleted it felt like dog shit today and all y'all dick right in fans can go eat a pile of horseshit.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, so he was not happy.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure he saw justice misguidance tweet where he broke down like terrible plays one after another Okay, manual I see you and Brooks actually out snapped him 17 to 13 I'm sure just for mostly the past blocking role that he brings he Brooks did have two carries for ten yards He got banged up to and had one nice run.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_06]: That's yeah.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_06]: That one run was really nice
- 22:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the longest seven, he did have another catch for six yards too, which he does once a week.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_05]: And then March on Lloyd, I don't know if people saw this, but he did pop up at the end of the week as injured or whatever, his hamstring before that, it was a calf.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_05]: And Luford basically said today that he isn't going to play this year, which is quite the bummer.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_05]: Now it's like, I only want to make fun of him, I just feel bad for the guy.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_06]: I feel bad for him too, but it was just, it's like, what do we do with him?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_06]: Like, just throw him on the eye.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_06]: Should we just throw him on in September again?
- 23:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I'm sure he'll be put on IR and then we'll have to see, like, what's wrong with him?
- 23:43[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_05]: I, it's, I have no idea.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_05]: It's just, especially when you're a fast freak like him, it's like...
- 23:51[SPEAKER_05]: more easily injured, not a big guy, whatever.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_05]: Hopefully so.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, what's there?
- 23:56[SPEAKER_06]: How well he would hold up to getting hit.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_05]: The, if he can't get through practice, you can't run the getting hurt.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_05]: The online, again, not a very good game.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_05]: Pro full focus had during love under pressure 27 of 46 drop x a 48.7% pressure rate, both season highs, four penalties on Rashid Walker, absolutely brutal.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_05]: Tom got hurt like we said early on and Kanard came in and wasn't very good And back to back sacks at like the end of the game pretty much sealed it.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_05]: Kanard was pretty bad down the stretch even though PFF gave my high grade.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_06]: How do you get graded so high?
- 24:34[SPEAKER_06]: I just don't understand that
- 24:36[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe the run game had a couple big blocks, but yeah, it's sure he is good in the run game.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_05]: Took away the jumbo set to which I'm curious if they're going to find a way to get an extra offensive lineman out there this week, but yeah, I don't know.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_05]: That was the offense.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_06]: Is Tom what is the status of ZAC Tom?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_05]: So Tom said there's no structural damage.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_05]: So help, it's a week to week thing.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see if he plays this week.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_05]: The bears don't get a ton of sacks, but obviously you'd rather have them out than he's been nursing that oblique injury all season too.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_05]: So he's been a warrior and still playing pretty well.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_05]: And I wonder if we'll see him.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's, I don't know, I feel like just a lot of sit, right?
- 25:14[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it's the bears.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_06]: It's an important game, but if he really injures it again,
- 25:22[SPEAKER_05]: Well, if if we win this week, we're pretty much locked for the playoffs, you know, I guess week 18 is a buy.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I mean, they did beat the Cowboys, but it's it's pretty much the NFC North Championship game this week.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_05]: We go from like a 40% chance to a 70% chance if we win.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_05]: So it's like I almost want him to play this week, and then after that, maybe he can rest up for the playoffs.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I just feel like because we basically secure getting in, so like even if the Vikings are good so like if JJ plays really well against us, and we lose to them a week 18, it's like who cares right.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that dude is I get I feel like I criticize like in I maybe I don't even say it Allow, but I like criticize some of the dumb stuff.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_06]: He does between the tackles that I don't like and then he goes a bus one for 40 Yeah, and then he does something else that I'm like, oh, that was a dumb run and then he catches that ball in the court of the end zone That I was like no he has no business catching that that's ridiculous so like all the time I'm being shocked by Josh Jacobs.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_06]: So
- 26:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yep, he's awesome.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_05]: He's a good football player.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure he'll be bet he has to be back next year too When I look like kind of a two year and see deal.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll see with that we will have a quick commercial break
- 26:53[SPEAKER_05]: all right and we're back with the defense, the defense, um, not their best game.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_05]: And yeah, I mean, even Mike was in there.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_05]: They were pretty mad.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, they started off okay, but whatever, no sacks on Sunday.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_05]: They were, they gave up touchdowns four out of four times in the red zone.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even know what I'm talking about.
- 27:20[UNKNOWN]: It's just,
- 27:21[SPEAKER_06]: that is like the appropriate response to like how this all feels is just like yeah like they it's not even the defense was like it wasn't a great game but they weren't like horrible and like I guess I'll say this.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_06]: All we have to do is catch two of the four pickable balls that bone X throws and this is a completely different game.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_05]: You know the worst one.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_05]: the carrying to Valentine what I don't there wasn't there the play the play before or two plays before Micah towards ACL.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_05]: Was when Xavier McKinney dropped the people if he catches that.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_06]: The Xavier drop was so frustrating because I was like you see it and if this is a year ago we're like oh yeah.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_06]: easy.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't get a lot of chances.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_05]: He finally gets one drops it, and then I play later Micah tears his ACL.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_06]: When you see that full nicks in my face, when he throws that ball, he's like, shit.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_06]: And it's like, he got baited into it, and then we can't capitalize.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_06]: And like, he has care in the middle of every call.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, literally, I don't know.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_05]: He's caught as many balls as he's made tackles at the line in the script.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_06]: He's caught as many balls in the NFL as
- 28:42[SPEAKER_05]: Parsons, I mean, I don't even know how much you want to talk about it.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_05]: He forced the fumble early, which is pretty cool.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_05]: Just swung the dude around.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_05]: The refs did call one hold on him early in the game, which was nice to see.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I don't know.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_05]: Everyone acted like he died.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_05]: Even on like Twitter, like there was a couple posts like that, that dire kid was like, Thank you so much, my capacitance for such a memorable season.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, he's not dead.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_05]: Like, I know this really sucks, but he's not dead.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_05]: And
- 29:10[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to say it.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to say it's a good thing because it's obviously not.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, let's see.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_05]: I love the spin zone.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_05]: The timing could be so much worse.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_05]: How?
- 29:24[SPEAKER_05]: If it happens at the beginning of the year, we have no Micah.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_05]: If it happens in the playoffs, one, it's even more heart-wrenching because it's like, well, we'll think we're a Super Bowl team for longer, and then he's going to be out even longer, going into next season.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_06]: It happening right now, which is- So by that logic, wouldn't it just be better if he was out week one?
- 29:45[SPEAKER_06]: Tares at week one, and then he comes back.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_05]: Well, no, because then we what are we still like a playoff team like how good of a team is this going to be without him we don't get to watch him play football for 15 weeks like we got to this season So it's like we lose him we don't get them for the playoffs, but we got to watch Michael Parsons and he should be ready for Next year like he he it happened in like the good middle ground.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like
- 30:13[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, I don't know if I'm ready to spin on it yet, but I mean, it's not a good thing, it's not a good thing.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like it's only bad, only bad things have happened in the past couple days.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I don't know.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_06]: Like, yes, it's super fun to watch.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_06]: He brings like this, I mean, I don't even want to say like mentality because like the defense has the mentality that we love right like they rally to the football.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_06]: They, you know, but like it's just that juice where it's like at any it's good.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_06]: I would equate it to having like
- 30:48[SPEAKER_06]: a Hall of Fame quarterback put on defense where it's like any single play he could blow it up like when you go into game with Rogers you feel like you can win any game i don't know if that's defense i don't know if an end can affect the game that much maybe he doesn't touch the ball all the time but like just a point being is like he you're never out like when you're on defense you're never out when Mike is on the field
- 31:16[SPEAKER_05]: And it was something like the first four plays he lined up in like four different spots, so we've done that with Gary in the past, but obviously it's not going to be the same if we attempt that with him.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Gary, he didn't play a terrible game, either he had a huge run stop, which for which for the second time long, which is nice, he still hasn't had a a true TFL or sack.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_05]: Didn't he have that that wasn't a TFL when he ran down the line I thought so But they didn't look for staff that I heard multiple times, so maybe it's wrong, but whatever Um, I don't after the hot start when he was leading the league in sacks Now he hasn't had one again six weeks.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_06]: Just not very good Um, and the all but like one of those sacks that he had was he was playing clean up for Bicca so
- 32:08[SPEAKER_05]: I think I think two of them Michael wasn't even on the field.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_05]: I could be two on that, but I know that was a thing early.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah Rob Demoski had this stat pressure persons pressure rate was 64% which is at highest in the league Rashund Gary's is twenty-eighth, which is the largest gap between the first and second player with a statistic on a single team So it's just gonna show zero remission
- 32:32[SPEAKER_06]: What do you if you if you can only have one and contract doesn't matter so they both cost is zero dollars I would take part in this over Gary not what I was going to ask Eating barre or Gary who do you want all no dollars don't matter who do you want Like one has to be off the team I would take you said Gary Gary or any barre
- 32:59[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, or I thought you said Parsons, um, contract doesn't matter contract doesn't matter.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_06]: I just like you can factor an age For they're not for their pretty close or age for this year.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_05]: I would still take Roshan Gary I think he's more of an overall well rounded player and he's a big body.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_05]: I could see it argued the other way
- 33:19[SPEAKER_05]: But it'll be interesting how to see two what happens when Gary's the main dude When like you know JJ was kind of clean up guy to if Micah is an out there, but I understand where you're coming from I my point is more than lines of like I don't I feel like Gary is good in the run game like I don't he's not bad in the run game He's like he says a big body.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_06]: He's strong.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_06]: He's still strong and he's semi explosive
- 33:45[SPEAKER_06]: what he brings in the past game i think is litter i think in my opinion is less than JJ and i think JJ is better in the run game i think even
- 33:53[SPEAKER_06]: He gets off the clock's better in the run game.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe, I'd like to look it up, not like PFF, but like, I don't know, I don't know.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see, I'd like to see there, because I'd like to see like their pressure rates, because I bet there's someone similar, but either way I get where you're coming from.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_05]: The fact that you can make an argument either way, kind of shows you at which.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's why I was trying to make the point, like, without contract, who do you take?
- 34:16[SPEAKER_06]: Because with the contract, it's ridiculous.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_05]: linebackers Cooper had a huge tackle for loss to lose three.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_05]: He did finish with two TFLs.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_05]: Huge drop or a huge tackle from him on fourth down two breaking of a ball to keep the game alive late.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_05]: That was huge.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_05]: That was nice.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_05]: quite also had a TFL and we'll again, I don't think we have to sit on this because we'll or we will sit on it because we'll talk about it for take news, but I think we're going to see a lot more from the insane linebackers going forward.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_05]: Just quake at a contract extension.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know now that it's taken so long he might get priced out of it and the way there's a lot of talking right now I especially like you kind of want to see what's interesting is
- 35:11[SPEAKER_05]: if he the packers might even have to wait to see what happens in free agency because again it's dobs it's Sean Ryan it's Rashid Walker it's Quay Walker I said rowing out dobs I know there's a one or two other guys out there that like oh Malique Willis whatever he gets you know if he signs elsewhere he's gone though right like Malique Willis is a foregone conclusion he's not stick around
- 35:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, unless he wants a nice cushy job in green bay where he's a brewery's a backup and during love gets banged up here in there, but either way, you only get four comp picks.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_05]: So it's like if five or six guys get decent deals and Packers were saving by so money by not signing a couple of these guys, then maybe they're more active in free agency than we would think because that also takes away your draft picks as well, you know, comp picks will cancel out of you sign free agents.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm curious to see what happens with that.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out, I don't know.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, good point.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_06]: That's good too far ahead of ourselves.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_05]: Right, and I know I don't want to bring that shit up.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_05]: Secondary, feels like we get or give up a lot of third downs converted against us, especially like wide open receivers.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, three times on that one touched down drive.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_05]: They converted on third downs, which is just a fucking pain in the ass.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_05]: Broncos on third down in this game, or I think this was just on the first half, were four for six.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_05]: Kishan on Bullard, uh, God, that fucking dude, the, well, they had the, the holding, not the holding, but the, the penalty that Bullard got when he threw him on the ground.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_06]: Is that what you're talking about?
- 36:53[SPEAKER_05]: Which, which I feel like was more Kishan than Bullard, like it Kishan is there.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think it happens.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_06]: I agree at the start, but watch the second replay where they have a camera angle from behind, Bullard, and you see him throw him to the ground, like push him to the ground.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_06]: It was a bull around.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_06]: It was bullards.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_05]: Keeshan also had that got the deep, the Sutton like out and up for 41 where he just wasn't sniffing it.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_05]: Also allowed that touchdown in the corner of the end zone where I mean, it's like he wasn't even there, rough game.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_05]: Valentine, he missed that tackle that he jumped at the line of scrimmage, didn't touch the ball either.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_05]: Um, just absolutely brutal.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_05]: He had another one to where he didn't have a very good game overall.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_05]: I do wonder and I'm not asking for this But I don't think I mentioned it when it when a halfly set it come all hidden if he gets any snaps He didn't have any in this game, but halfly set a couple of weeks ago that he looks so good in practice that he even said to He said DA Derek Ansley the secondary coach
- 37:57[SPEAKER_05]: That they need to find a way to get him on the field.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_05]: So he's really really good in practice Can you put him in for Nixon?
- 38:04[SPEAKER_05]: Nixon gets you know cock but Nixon's but Nixon's also like against the beers He had a really good game.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_05]: He only allowed two completions and he had the game sealing I&T which I don't know how many corners are gonna break off I know is right I don't know.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's a fair point like he did save the game at the end, but like he gets freaking torched
- 38:24[SPEAKER_05]: It isn't pretty when yeah, it's either good or it's horrible Yeah, ex also had the two picks vote or the two plays where he should have picked it off like we talked about Oh, did you see Hobbes was on the field for like two plays
- 38:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he graded out well on PFF2.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_05]: He was a top five player.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_05]: I think he was like number three and he didn't make any huge mistakes.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_06]: I thought he got hurt on that one.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_05]: He did there wasn't an update on that either.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_05]: So I assume he's fine, but it looked like he was in pain like off the sideline a little bit there.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_05]: Special teams, JJ got that stupid roughing the puncher penalty just dumb for pushing the guy late wheel and had the one punt which was a touchback which wasn't very good and again the multiple penalties on special teams are just killer.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_05]: We have the six most special teams penalties in the league.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_05]: I looked it up.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_05]: That is wild.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_06]: I think there's five more teams that have more penalties in us.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_05]: The refs, especially with how much more important the kickoff has been, they have put an emphasis on penalties on special teams, so that's one reason for it, because I look this up like three or four weeks ago.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_05]: And we were 14th, you know, we were right in the middle of the league for a special team's penalties.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_05]: And after these last two weeks, yeah, where there's one and every play all the way up to six.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I don't know.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_05]: Rich B. and Rich, whatever McNanness made all his kicks, I feel pretty good about him again, making that 53-yarder, whatever it was, solid McNanness revenge game.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_06]: We had him.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we had him.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_05]: If only, if only we had him a little closer, but yeah, that was the game.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_05]: It sucked deflating, I don't think the season is over, but yeah, anything else with this game, Todd?
- 40:09[SPEAKER_06]: Do we talk well never mind I was gonna bring up something that I think we're talking about later in the episode for taking news So never mind.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I did have like three other many things.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_05]: One the metal floor terrible challenge He's been really good this year.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_05]: That was so that was so fucking bad.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_05]: I was like, oh, maybe he sees something we don't see and then we see the Matt I don't know
- 40:32[SPEAKER_05]: And half time they had cheap writing, did you see that?
- 40:36[SPEAKER_05]: Excuse me.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_05]: And she might have talked about it before.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, like, because when I went to a local rodeo before at like half time, they get children with hot comments and they put on the back of sheep.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_05]: They did that at the Bronco Stadium, Mile High, which I thought was pretty funny.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_05]: Some of the beat reporters were posting videos from it.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_06]: How did they keep them from pooping on the field?
- 40:59[SPEAKER_05]: They probably don't, they probably just pick it up after.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_06]: That'd be fun.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_06]: If it was like, it was like a wet one and then you can tackle it and your face goes in it and you get the splatters on your face and then you're like, oh, it was that important to have the sheep on the field for half of him cool.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_05]: It was fun because like one of them got away and there was like a border collie out there that rounded it back up.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_06]: That's actually awesome.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_05]: And then the only other things with the CBS coverage, I hated how often we heard that fucking ice spice sponge Bob song and ice spice sponge Bob I have no idea what you're talking about if you heard it you would know it's big guy big guy that that that dumb one I don't
- 41:42[SPEAKER_06]: I don't have a sponge about this.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_06]: I'll say that.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_05]: And then the Channing Tatum fragrance commercial that you love, which we got a couple of days.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_06]: Did you think that was bad?
- 41:51[SPEAKER_06]: It was horrible.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_05]: Every, it was like one or she'll is ridiculous.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_06]: That one, especially was something like that.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_05]: That was zero.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_06]: He shoots the arrow and then runs and catches his soul.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, what are we, what is this?
- 42:06[SPEAKER_05]: There's no cool fragrance commercial.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_05]: They're all like
- 42:13[SPEAKER_06]: I just I just think it's the worst.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_06]: I don't even know how to explain why I think it's worse I just think that's the worst one.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_06]: I've like normally commercials don't even catch my eye You're just whatever it is.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, dumb frag- oh, dumb car commercial this one I was like did he just catch his own arrow and then like flex in front of a camera?
- 42:31[SPEAKER_06]: Like what?
- 42:32[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know Oh, with that we will have take news for ball time
- 42:44[SPEAKER_05]: All right, take news for the week, we got a couple of them here and I think we'll just start off with the most obvious.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_05]: Is this still a Super Bowl team going into the week?
- 42:59[SPEAKER_05]: I think our biggest odds were something at like 11 to 13%.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_05]: They drop down to 5% after this game.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_05]: Not very good.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_05]: Again, we still have a 90% chance of making the playoffs.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_05]: I think our NFC chances are 42% right now.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think, or no, it's 43 of the Bears Wrap 52.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_05]: If we win it goes up to 70% for the NFC North,
- 43:25[SPEAKER_05]: to see it in the NFL more than likely, but Todd obviously a shitty game, but do you think this is still a, a, a, a Super Bowl team, not play out.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's a play out team for sure about a Super Bowl team.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_06]: We play it the entire regular season to get to the playoffs.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_06]: So I think it could be, do I think it is?
- 43:45[SPEAKER_06]: No, I just like you, you need an X factor.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_06]: to get to the Super Bowl or you need to be ultra consistent and like every facet of the game.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_06]: Like you just can't make mistakes if you're gonna be like you're the Eagles.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_06]: Like the Eagles weren't, I didn't feel like they were super, they ran the Ball Super well though.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_06]: So like they did have an X-factor.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_06]: But you just have to be, we just like kind of like our X-factor was,
- 44:10[SPEAKER_06]: the pressures and the sacks on defense mixed with just the way that the defense kind of clamped down like I feel like the defense was kind of like the front the leading leg I guess if you were also that's kind of I think it's a no.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, can we?
- 44:28[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_05]: I think the fight, the 5%, like 120, I think that's pretty, pretty good.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_05]: It feels like I'm happy with those odds.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, like I kind of like that's probably about what I would say because it's like, you know, 2010, that was a rig take bunch of guys that had 13 or 15 players on the IR.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think any to the caliber of Tucker craft or Michael Parsons,
- 44:53[SPEAKER_05]: And it's like, again, if Jeff Hathley is a good defensive coordinator, if he can still find pressure using the linebackers or a balanced rail turns it on, maybe Brenton Cox or Colin Oliver, joined the team and then we have to find a pass rush that way.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_05]: But I think the big thing is just Jordan Love.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_05]: Like if Jordan Love can go out there now and the offensive line can hold up.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_05]: We're not going to play a defense as good as this Broncos one unless we make it to the Super Bowl and play them.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and it's, you know, again, Christian Watson reads, look, really, really good.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_05]: It's coming back.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_05]: Matthew Golden, if he can get involved, wicks, dobs like if we're an error, if we're an air attack offense, and Jordan love turns into Toyota Thana again, I think, obviously the chances go up and that's what we would need to have happened.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_05]: But I think it's still very possible in such a wide open NFC, but obviously the chances take a huge hit after the Parsons injury.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's a good point of like so maybe if the keys to the offense go to Jordan and it's like we're just gonna sling the ball and like run when we need to but we're gonna sling the ball like there's a chance like we have an opportunity like it could happen if Christians if Christian can play this week or next week and kind of like be healthy I mean it often says I mean we've seen it the last few weeks like it is a different offense with Christian Watson at the home you get
- 46:20[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we have guys that can step up and make plays.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_06]: So like that's a good point.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_06]: If the offense could be the feature, I guess, like it doesn't have to be the defense.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_06]: And the defense is still gonna be good.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_06]: We're still gonna hold people.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_06]: I just think it's Kishan will.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think oh, yeah, we'll hold people because penalties, because penalties.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_06]: And throw people on the ground after the play.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_06]: But like we're gonna hold, I think we're still gonna be good red zone defense.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_06]: Killing those drives early on that we've been so good at this year where it's like you just kind of wreck somebody.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_06]: It's a three and out.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_06]: It's like they don't know what to do.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's kind of I don't think the rush is there so
- 47:02[SPEAKER_05]: sticking with that next part of take news for the week replacements.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_05]: We'll just go through it here.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_05]: There are a couple of big injuries.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_05]: At worst, they should be a week to a week.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_05]: Parsons is obviously a different animal, but you know, what are we going to do to replace these guys?
- 47:18[SPEAKER_05]: So Parsons, starting there, how do you replace Michael Parsons?
- 47:22[SPEAKER_06]: Um, you can't, but like does Colin Oliver, Bretton Cox coming back, like given enough spark.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_06]: To be fair, like you could, Parsons was playing like 60 snaps a game, which was honestly a ridiculous amount for a guy that's that explosive.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_06]: So does getting more rotation in there, LVN coming back, rotating in, like, is there an opportunity to create that past rushed that way?
- 47:48[SPEAKER_06]: I hope so, but like, it's going to be an uphill battle.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_06]: Breton Cox probably gives us the best opportunity to have a rush.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_06]: Honestly, at this point, like, if he can look like where he's flashed at times, that's our best bet.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_05]: And he's fresh.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_05]: I don't remember who's a knee or foot injury that got him on.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_05]: I originally bit if it's his foot.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_05]: Then it's like, oh, maybe he's pretty fresh and ready to go.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_05]: Didn't all the end.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_05]: I saw him out there.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_05]: He played like 20, some snaps.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_05]: How did play him?
- 48:16[SPEAKER_05]: Um, someone who didn't play, who I think could help here, too, is Baron Surrell, the third ground pick.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_05]: He's flashed times as well.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_05]: True.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_05]: Um, like he said, Rishon Gary, LVN, they got to step up at Rishon Gary, he can be anything close to the 20, 22 version of him before sharing his ACL.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that season before it happened, like he was, he wasn't like a person's, but you would like watch him on defense now, like he's making a pressure like every other play.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and then like you said sprint and Cox and Colin Oliver.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_05]: I would still be surprised because I can call an Oliver hasn't practice since he wasn't college.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, he had a mini camp practice.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_05]: So I would say it's probably even less than a coin flip that he joins the team.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_05]: He'll probably go back to IR just because the way this team structure to like Aaron Mosby is our sixth defensive end or whatever right now.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_05]: Bretton caught he and he's a huge special team's player, right?
- 49:11[SPEAKER_05]: You know he he makes a tackle at least once a week Bretton Cox doesn't play special teams so it's like It's tough to bring Both yeah both Bretton Cox and Colin all over onto the team when he was soon neither can play special teams with Colin all over being a rookie who hasn't practiced and Bretton Cox He's never shown a willingness.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_05]: I guess probably play special teams
- 49:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and you don't want to piss Brent Cox off.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_05]: We know that.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he has a past.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_05]: Zack Tom, no structural damage.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_05]: What would you do at right tackle this week?
- 49:44[SPEAKER_05]: I assume he's going to be out.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_05]: I wouldn't be shocked.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_05]: I assume he will be questionable.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_05]: And Williams will be out or questionable.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_05]: Quick Christian Watson tool.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure he'll be questionable along with Josh Jacobs, but what do you think about Zack Tom?
- 49:57[SPEAKER_06]: I think you sit Zack Tom.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_06]: I don't correct me if I'm wrong, but like that's not a good rush.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, for the bears, I don't see the danger and keeping can art in there like, you know, I mean, like you talk about how good that Broncos defense was very, I mean, what are they?
- 50:14[SPEAKER_06]: Are they number one for sacks in the league across the, yeah.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't know.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like you rest Tom, just like if we were to go on a run, you need Zack Tom.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_06]: Like you can't have Zack Tom being injured week to week.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, and the oblique thing seems weird, it can happen anytime.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_05]: right.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, we saw that in Cleveland.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_05]: I guess I'm curious this week though, too.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_05]: It seems like Jordan Morgan truly is a left tackle.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_05]: He's the backup to Rashid Walker over there.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_05]: If you remember that Browns game 2 and Tom went down, Morgan came in at right tackle and was not very good.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_05]: So here we went to Kanard immediately, so I don't know if maybe we put Rashid Walker at right tackle and put Jordan Morgan at left tackle, probably not, but Matt will floor was asked about it today, and he was non-committal on what the starting offensive line would be.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure that's just gamesmanship, but still something to think about.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_05]: Evan Williams.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_05]: Neandry, he said it's not as bad as one that he had in Oregon where he was out for four weeks.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_05]: So maybe he's out of week, maybe he's out two weeks.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_05]: I thought it was interesting that Zane Anderson was his replacement on defense.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, what are your thoughts on that?
- 51:30[SPEAKER_05]: What would you do with the secondary with Evan Williams out?
- 51:33[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, obviously not, we have seen nothing of oladapo.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_06]: We've seen bullard back there, and it's not good, so maybe like Xane is the best bet as far as, but like you also look at two where where Evan has been so successful has been creeping down into the box and like playing in the box, so like maybe in this defense.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_06]: you could put bullard there, put hobs in at the slot, which is gotta be his best position, right?
- 52:06[SPEAKER_06]: Like, and then just let bullard play in the box.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_06]: Cause like, yeah, and I'm sure he's gonna get picked on if he is deep, but like, you just take that risk, right?
- 52:15[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_05]: And in the packages that Bullard has been pulled in the past, one from the slot, and at safety, is passing game situations.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_05]: So he's a good run defender.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_05]: Like I said, we put on run place.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_05]: He's usually in the slot or at safety early in the year.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_05]: So it's decent timing with us playing the bears who are a run first team and Kale Williams is, you know, you can be risky at times as a low completion percentage.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_05]: So I assume it's going to be Hobbes in the slot with Bullard back at safety.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_05]: And I wouldn't be surprised if you rotate with Zane and Anderson, which
- 52:53[SPEAKER_05]: Again, it's still interesting with Katana Aladopo not getting many snaps in this game when he was a fifth round pick.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_05]: I believe, you know, just the round after Evan Williams was drafted.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, have we even, like, I don't even remember preseason seeing any Katana Aladopo, like, he played-
- 53:10[SPEAKER_05]: he played a little last year because Evan or X got hurt and then he came in I think and then Zane came in after him so he played okay last year but again just a little interesting that the packers went with the undrafted special teamer Zane Anderson over him.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_06]: it would be fun to see him play like he's a fun prospect is like what is he like six he's over he's a bigger dude like six two and decent size so like it would be fun but like just the fact that we haven't seen any of them does he just he play special teams even like I don't know that he does a little bit I just feel like I'd have maybe seen him do something once this year which is just like makes sense why he's not I wouldn't put him in
- 53:57[SPEAKER_05]: Christian Watson who probably has the best chance to play out of this group I would say on Saturday You're asking me what we do about it.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, I was out.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, oh, if he's out.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_06]: What do we do?
- 54:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah
- 54:11[SPEAKER_06]: Um, well, you don't really have many options.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you put I don't think that's because like, what are you asking like who takes me on me say this.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_05]: So he he goes out early third quarter whatever it was.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_05]: And they're like, oh, you know, in the offense, one with Tom being out and then him being out and they'll often it's just like slows down their blip.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_05]: And it's like, and they're like, they just don't have the speed on this offense that Watson hasn't like,
- 54:37[SPEAKER_05]: Well, we have Matthew golden.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_05]: I know he's got the prototypical outside receiver But it's like he runs good routes.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_05]: He's really fucking fast like you should be able to use him to spread the field a little bit Take the top off the defense and we didn't see that so I wonder if they're putting together something with him Maybe Luke Musgrave two just of you know have that deep threat shot out there
- 55:01[SPEAKER_05]: Again, Jean Reed, getting him coming back, I think is huge and his yards after catch have been nice, which we haven't seen from most other guys, but I guess I'm not worried, but it's like I would like to see Golden and we've been saying it, you know, on an off all year, but I would like to see him get more of an opportunity to be that guy outside with his speed.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and I would feel good about the one, two, three, four of Romeo, Jayden, right, golden wicks, like that is not a problem to me, right?
- 55:32[SPEAKER_06]: Like what I rather have Christian 100%, but like as long as it's not
- 55:46[SPEAKER_06]: I'm good.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_06]: I'm good with putting bowl and saving on in every now and then but like we should be featuring the top four like right you know what I mean And I feel like that doesn't happen sometimes.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_06]: It's like we get to Gadgety and I'm like hold on.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_06]: We need to throw the ball to the gate.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_05]: I don't hate I don't hate the bowl melt and gadget play once a game You know, that's what it was But it did seem like I was surprising the snap counts that it was nine versus twenty snaps or whatever between the two
- 56:13[SPEAKER_05]: because it did feel like bows out there more than Matthew Golden.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_06]: Or like if you're going to go three what if you're going to have three water savers out there which we typically always do and you want to run motion, a shit ton, put Savion out there, put Ball out there to run the motions and then let's rotate in and out between Romeo, Jaden, Dante, and Golden.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 56:34[SPEAKER_06]: Like rotate out,
- 56:36[SPEAKER_06]: have your motion guy who's you know you put in the miles on those guys that's like haven't be bowed who can conceivably run forever and save you on who's also an athletic Greek they just aren't great with the ball in their hand like they can't catch the ball y'all
- 56:51[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll see what happens there again, a lot of injuries in this game.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_05]: It doesn't seem like any of them are going to be long-term long-term but curious to see what the coaching staff comes up with on Saturday.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_06]: I said they can't catch the ball.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_06]: Both of those guys can catch the ball.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think they're good route runners, bow and save you.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_06]: That's the problem.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_06]: Sure.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_06]: Very, very, very fair.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_05]: Last thing for take news should we restructure the franchise.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_05]: This is something we've talked a lot about on this podcast menu.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_05]: Well, again, we talked about Mark Murphy a lot, but again, the big thing Mark Murphy did when they fired Ted Thompson was restructuring the team.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_05]: For ever since Ron Wolfe came on in like 1990 The and he when he first interviewed a couple years earlier.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_05]: He said he wouldn't take the job unless they did this That being that the GM is in charge of the coach.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_05]: He is the coach's boss.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_05]: He can hire and fire the coach Right now to set up where
- 57:48[SPEAKER_05]: Goody, the GM, Matt Ulflur, the Coach and Rustball, the salary cap guy, all report to the president.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_05]: Again, kind of dumb to have the president be in charge of football operations.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_05]: He should know what's going on.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_05]: But I don't know about all of that.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_05]: But Rob Demovsky had this to say.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_05]: I forgot what show it was.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_05]: But this is Rob Demovsky on ESPN Milwaukee, talking about the potential of a switch-up with the
- 58:16[SPEAKER_04]: And I've said this a couple of times, and this is not just guessing this is, this is, I guess it's an educated guess based on people I've talked to, I would not be surprised if Ed goes back to the old structure and gives Brian Gudken's the power over the head coach and perhaps let's go against the side.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_04]: I, from all the people I've talked to, it sure seems like that is the way that Ed's going to go moving forward with whoever the next general manager is and I'm assuming that it's Brian Gudken.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well, so does that mean that you think no matter what full of floor, that goody is safe?
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: because they're contracts aligned, and that was, again, that was a part of how we focused more on the LaFour part during the season, but Groody was in the same boat of two years left on the deal, not getting the extension.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_04]: Let me point it this way.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_04]: I believe Ed will give whoever the general manager is, the power over the head coach.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_04]: She still obviously has to decide if Groody is a guy, but I don't think he lets, you know, prior signs off on the bike of ours is trained.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_04]: If he doesn't fully believe in everything the Brian Goodkins is doing.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_04]: So, and I think I said this before,
- 59:12[SPEAKER_04]: When they made the trade, I thought to somebody in the league and said, well, this tells you that, you know, good eating, the ads on duty side or goodies on ed side.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_05]: I thought that was very interesting that Rob brought that up hadn't heard anyone else say that Jason will be later on so that he hadn't heard anything like that from within the building.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_05]: But Rob sounds like he has a source again.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_05]: This is the guy who said Zack Tom would be a Hall of Fame Center.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_05]: I forgot some other things he's been wrong about.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_05]: But Todd, I guess initial thoughts on hearing that there.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_06]: I think, um, I don't know, I'm just kind of working through like, is that what what would make that not be a good idea because I think it like at service level that seems like the way that everybody does it.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_06]: But I don't know enough about Goot and like is he good like would he be good at managing the coaching staff and like because I assume that goes into the two like And I guess maybe this is the case for it like did Mark Murphy was he the one that blocked getting who's the special teams coordinator that then went to Darren Rizzi was he was actually the Broncos that was like no we can't we're not paying you that much and then yep
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_06]: out of here so and then he left it and he's like okay we'll pay that much and he's like I'm not coming back He was like yeah, I see what goes on there.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_06]: Um
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm just trying to find the problem with it.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_06]: It seems only good.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_05]: So the problem with it, so I will sound hypocritical here, but we've kind of touched on in the past to if they ever did make the change.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_05]: This is how it should be.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_05]: You said most of the league does that way that actually isn't true.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_05]: There has been a switch now and the majority of teams, the president does make isn't charge football operations or the owner.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_05]: Well, the owner being I guess that does make sense that the owner would be in charge because owners are typically own owner or president like the titans like milk Hendrickson is the guy kind of condition I'm just saying like Hendrickson.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_06]: If you're in the owner that hires a president, chat with me
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_05]: if you're an owner that hires a present they would probably run it but if you're an owner like Jerry he's just right but that's yeah that's a unique situation but i would say it is potentially a negative because if you remember Mike Sherman his last year with the packers the year before he was the GM and head coach of the team
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_05]: And then Bob Harlan, and that might have happened a couple of years, then Bob Harlan was like, oh, this isn't working.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_05]: Strip some of the GM role, highest Ted Thompson, and then the year after that they fire Mike Sherman, and Bob Harlan said that his biggest regret was not just firing Sherman to begin with.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_05]: So stuff like that can happen.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_05]: And again, it's weird right now because they're on the same contract structure.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_05]: Both of them, their contracts are running out after this year.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_05]: and it's weird to have a guy who was your equal, then become your boss.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_06]: You know, like that's you think they ever were equal though, did you think here's what I would wonder if I was Matt, I would always be like, I bet this could change.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_05]: Sure, but it's still like when college football coaches are getting paid a shit ton now.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_05]: and you get like that full contract and it's more years usually to it's like would you rather sit around and maybe go to a college and be ahead coach and get paid it should ton of money and have this mess though yeah but it's getting better because now the coaches have to do less than they were a couple of years ago.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_05]: Or would you want to stick around in green bay and have this hanging over your head where a guy who is your equal is now your boss?
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_05]: And it seems like they've had not issues at times but disagreements.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_05]: It's just, you know, it would be it's odd timing for that too because it has to get a new deal.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_05]: So it's something that I do want to have happen.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_05]: The timing is just bad because again, I think we talked about in the past.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think you can really make this change until you fire the GM.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't think that's happening this year.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's interesting.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_06]: I think that I think no one's leaving or going anywhere.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_06]: And so to that point of like, if they don't make the change until somebody gets fired, like, that change is going to happen for a while.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I think the floor is not going to leave, right?
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_06]: Like, he would have to be run on a town to give up the job.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_06]: That's the way I feel.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_05]: The other report, too, is when they hired LaFlor, like Goody and Raspal wanted to, you know, have a round of second interviews and Mark Murphy was like, no, Matt LaFlor is the guy.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_05]: So there's been some type of hesitation there.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_05]: When Goody interviewed for the job, he thought it would, he would be like Ted Thompson and have control over the head coach.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_05]: And like, we saw how he, as soon as he could move on from Aaron Rogers, he did, like I wouldn't be surprised if he would want to bring in his own head coach rather than just
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's interesting.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_06]: I can see the appeal.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_06]: But God, just for some reason, I just don't think.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_06]: I just don't see it.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_06]: I don't see good doing that.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I, well, I don't know.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_06]: I would have to change.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_06]: Like, to where we're at right now.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_05]: If we miss the playoffs, I think like next year, I think sure move on from LaFlan.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_05]: But if there's some hard balls going on, I wouldn't be shocked if we found a new head coach too.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_06]: Hmm, I don't know.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_06]: I don't see I see I see things status quo and less like you're saying like we just the playoffs like I don't right, which I don't it's not happening We're going to play offs Stump spiny, do you have that ready to go?
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_05]: I think I am too down from being 500.
- 1:04:55[SPEAKER_06]: I do indeed some spiny, so
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_06]: Since 2015, four different Titans have played for both the Packers and the Bears name three of them.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_06]: This one's kind of easy.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_06]: I think I, I think I would get this one.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_05]: Big dog, obviously.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_05]: How many years is this?
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_06]: 2015.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_06]: I think you're going to get it.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_05]: Robert T onion.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_06]: Correct.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, Jimmy Graham.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_05]: Can you get the fourth?
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_05]: you if you can't think of it when I tell you're gonna be like oh fuck yeah because no would go back to 2015 right yeah based off of those numbers there yeah so you did good you got the ones I would have got yeah wouldn't be Coralist wouldn't be if thinly wouldn't be Richard oh Richard Rogers no fuck okay who was it so it's Tanya and Big Dog Jimmy Graham
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm, sure.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't think I would have gotten that one.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_05]: I have totally I wouldn't have gotten my tell us
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_05]: I watched like a compilation of like Aaron Rogers 4th quarter come back and one of them he threw to my tell us Bennett and I was like who is that and I was like well that was the like half quarter second thought and then like oh my god it's more tell us Bennett fucking wearing 80 of these shit yeah okay um cool so I am if I get the last two stumps pennies of the season I will be over 500 for the year 8 but I'm not an idiot.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_05]: but now we will preview the bears game again very weird we played them two weeks ago now we're playing them again we're playing the bears in Chicago who are ten and four after beating the Cleveland Browns last week again we have a 43% chance to with the north the bears have a 52% chance if we went on Sunday it's a 75% chance and if we beat the Vikings we would be or one one more game after that we would be the NFC North champions
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_05]: Again, bears are the leader right now, games that soldier field, a 720 kickoff on Saturday.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_05]: Right now, the packers are one and a half point favorites over under a set at 46 and a half.
- 1:07:14[SPEAKER_05]: And if you remember two, so Vegas, again, it's three points when we played them at Lambo.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_05]: We were six and a half point favorite, now we're one and a half point favorites, so Mike Parsons cost us two points, apparently.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, whether I looked this up for the game right now, it's scheduled to be about 23 degrees and a wind of a 15 miles per hour.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll see how windy it actually is.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_05]: The announcers will be Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, Erin Andrews, Tom Bernaluy, which I'm fine with.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_05]: I wish they were spread out a little bit more, but I think that's a pretty solid crew.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_05]: Um, that's a good.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_05]: The bears are coming off a 3 to 31 point win at home against the Browns is mentioned, Caleb Williams was 17 for 28, 242, 2 touchdowns, 0 picks and was sacked three times.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_05]: The average 4.3 yards per carry on 33 runs.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_05]: Burton the rookie was their leading receiver with 84 yards DJ more.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_05]: However had 69 and two touchdowns He had that one really nice catch and throw in the end zone Going from right to left where it looked kind of like the catch from the miners back in the day very lucky though just very lucky
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_05]: neither Rome or Burton practice today too, which could be something.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_05]: Rome, the second year player, Roman Dunesay.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_05]: This is two weeks now that he has been out, he did not play against us either, so wonder if we will see him on Saturday.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_05]: Bears offense again points for game they scored 26.1 which is ninth best in the league yards per game it's three sixty nine which is fifth best in the league again good running team average past team they run at forty seven percent of the time which is sixth most in the league they have the second orest completion percentage from Caleb I'm said Caleb love
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_05]: Caleb Williams, which is 58% yards per pass is 6.9, which is 18th in the league, doesn't get sack much, just 4.3% of the time, and again that went up after the three sacks last week, and Caleb again is only throwing six picks on the year.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_05]: He has a third best pick percentage in the league.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_05]: Swift the leading Russia 935 on the season of 5 or 4.9 average, 7 touchdowns, 254 yards receiving, Kyle Manungai, 681, a 4.9 average as well, 5 touchdowns and 97 yards receiving as catch in 2 weeks and have won against us, didn't have won against the Browns.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_05]: Ruma Dunes, they still are leading a receiver 660144, and two touchdowns hasn't played the last two weeks, like I said, DJ Moore, 587, 38 receptions, and five touchdowns.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_05]: Colson Lovelin, the rookie tied in a still playing pretty well, 490 yards after, not doing much of the first month or two of the season, 39 receptions for four touchdowns, and in Luther Burton is now their third receiver with 479 yards, 46 receptions,
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_05]: Again, their offensive line is probably top five offensive line in the league after the trades that they've done and the draft pick of Darnell right two years ago Their defense again.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_05]: It's a weird defense allowing 24.1 points per game with just 21st 24th in yards at 345 per game They give up five yards per rush which is 29th in the NFL
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_05]: 7.5 yards per pass.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_05]: Their sack rate is 6.26, which is 21st in the league.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_05]: But again like we talked about the most picks in the league, the most turnovers in the league.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_05]: They don't turn the ball over much.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_05]: They have the best rover differential in the league.
- 1:10:43[SPEAKER_05]: When we played them two weeks ago, they had the 13th and 8th best 3rd and 4th down defense.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_05]: After these last two weeks they have gone to like 15th and 17th I think so they really dropped back after these last two games
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_05]: Montez, what the defense event, eight and a half sacks, 21 tackles for loss.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_05]: Grady Jared's on that defense to Javan Dexter's five sacks, the second year player at defensive tackle.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_05]: Safety Kevin Bayard has six picks.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_05]: Nicheon Wright has five.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_05]: Jekwann Brisker is at safety to his pretty solid and the best piece in their secondary is Jalen Johnson, who's pretty pretty good.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_05]: I think trade admins might play in this game the decent linebacker that they gave a huge contract to but he hasn't played as well as he did with the bucks.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_05]: Ben Johnson and Matt Elford don't really hate each other.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_05]: Again, if Rodgers leads into that and wins against Detroit, the packers will clinch a playoff spot if they win this game.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_05]: So that is the bears.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_05]: Not a great week as a
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_06]: I was super not confident minutes after the ACL exploded on my television.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_06]: Now I'm kind of like, hmm, we could win this game.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_06]: Like this does feel like a game that
- 1:12:12[SPEAKER_06]: granted it's at the bears they were good it went down to the wire but i'm like i don't i just don't like i don't believe in Caleb like i don't know how you feel but i just like i just believe like how many picks if we dropped a couple picks of his too and it's just like i just don't believe in Caleb enough to be like oh yeah like he's gonna come out and be this now that we're down a little bit i believe in Jordan more um
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_06]: and for that reason, I do feel a little bit confident, not like I would have minus the ACL, but I feel okay.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I feel pretty good too.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it is a pretty big game, again, just for the rivalry for the year, for the future of the NFC North, you know, if the bears win, they're probably going to win the NFC North, which would be huge for them after, you know, I don't think they have a playoff win in like 20 years and to clinch a playoff
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but again, it's just to keep the bears as little brother you have to win this game, you know, if we lose this game, it's almost worse than the last of the Broncos as far as like an outlook for the rest of the season because we should beat them.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_05]: Could be close from the bears aren't a terrible team.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_05]: We'd have to win the last two to, I don't know, probably have some hope again that we can make some type of playoff run, but yeah, I feel pretty decent going into this game too.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_06]: Um, yeah, I, I was going to ask this is a random thing.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_06]: Can I, okay, I was just looking at, like, you sent over the link for, like, this, this Web X or this Web thing that we're doing here.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_06]: Um, what kind of field is the Broncos?
- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_06]: Is it turf?
- 1:13:50[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_05]: I hadn't heard much of anything about that field, but obviously think about that after sink Parsonscare.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_05]: Well, the other thing too is it's a Shunt Pete and I was a Shunt Peyton coach team and it's like how dirty were they as well.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, we saw that one where the like is they always dirty.
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_05]: I don't I don't know.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's just some type of advantage you could have, but yeah, it's a grass field.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:14:14[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the linebacker pushing during loves heading to the ground, which an offensive one probably should have stood up for them there.
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't know if anybody saw it to be honest in him getting hit low a couple times too.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_05]: It's just I don't know bad They got flagged for one.
- 1:14:28[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sure they got fined whoever that was.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I guess we'll see But yeah, I don't know.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_05]: I still feel I feel good at soldier field.
- 1:14:35[SPEAKER_05]: It would be nice to you know put a
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think it would end the hope for a lot of bears fans who finally had some optimism this season.
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_05]: But I don't know, soldier field, we've played pretty well there, which Jordan love.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_05]: You have the block to kick there last year with Carl Brooks, Christian Watson usually plays pretty well there.
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_05]: I I feel decent about it.
- 1:14:58[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's there might be some type of like, you know, Michael Parsons is down like there's some type of thing going on.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_06]: A little bit of a resurgence type of thing.
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we got a rally.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_05]: We got a rally.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_05]: We got to prove ourselves.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yati Adav.
- 1:15:11[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll see.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_05]: It should be a good game, a Saturday game.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_05]: Again, we'll play on Saturday the next week too against the Ravens, which is kind of interesting.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like yeah, we do get back to the Thursday games this year.
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_06]: Back to back Saturday games is wild.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't realize the Baltimore game was a Saturday.
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, very weird.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_05]: Um, but yeah, Todd, what is your score prediction for this game?
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_06]: So I have the Packers winning 2720.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_06]: Twenty-seven being obviously the prophecy for tells that number.
- 1:15:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 1:15:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_05]: I like that.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_06]: I'll just build this score prediction.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah Billy has 24 23 bears which is how I felt sure after Mike Exploded on live television
- 1:16:00[SPEAKER_05]: I do like when one person doesn't pick us to win.
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_05]: It's usually Billy, but I will.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_05]: I like that.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_05]: How does you fall in the sword?
- 1:16:07[SPEAKER_06]: I do too, but then again, Billy also said that.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we lose.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_06]: But when you do it, you tell us that you don't believe it.
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_06]: So that you can.
- 1:16:15[SPEAKER_06]: It's kind of like straw man like you're like I'm doing this for the vibes.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_06]: That's it.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_06]: That's what it's going to be for beta.
- 1:16:21[SPEAKER_05]: I have the packer is winning similar score to you 27 to 23.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to just keep you got to pick 27 at this point still.
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_05]: It's been four or five.
- 1:16:31[SPEAKER_05]: The odds are with you.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_05]: Very true.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_05]: History always repeats itself.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_05]: So I do have us winning just barely in this game.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_05]: Todd, what is your bold prediction?
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_06]: My bold prediction was four sacks for the defense, no one person in particular, and my reasoning behind is because like, Michael would flush him, but I'm like without Michael.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_06]: There isn't as much space to go, so that's where I'm hopeful that that can hit.
- 1:17:00[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:17:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:17:00[SPEAKER_05]: I think that works.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_05]: They don't give up a lot of sales in these things.
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_05]: I think we only had one sack against them.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_05]: If that, when we played them two weeks ago, so I think that's fair.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_05]: What is Billy's bold prediction?
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_06]: Billy had Josh Jacobs for 140 plus rush yards.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's fair.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_05]: He definitely, he hasn't had a hundred yard game this year.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_05]: In many old Wilson's actually the manuals.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_05]: He's done that.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_05]: So my bold prediction, I'm going to, again, I'm superstitious.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to have to wear a new pack or shirt or whatever this week.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_05]: Because,
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_05]: the last one dude you got a burn what did you wear you know it's my farm made sure it's my farm aid it's got a cow on it with a farm aid this year and it's green and gold so it's a suit on you go to farm aid again in the future it's not not Minnesota it's probably not gonna happen again and it was a good sure and we we're on a four we were on a four game winning streak wearing it so it could be a lot worse but deal with the devil four games four game win streak and then my comparison dead
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, well, I'm not going to burn the shirt either.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_05]: I'll wash it and then all that stankle come off it.
- 1:18:03[SPEAKER_05]: But oh okay sticking with what my bold prediction was two weeks ago.
- 1:18:08[SPEAKER_05]: Gonna stick with it.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_05]: So maybe that means we'll beat the bears again.
- 1:18:10[SPEAKER_05]: I have Chris Brooks scoring a touchdown again.
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_05]: He's getting a little bit more involved in the passing game once once a week once a week.
- 1:18:19[SPEAKER_05]: Easy.
- 1:18:20[SPEAKER_05]: He gets one to two receptions for over like the last month it feels like.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_06]: So probably not going to
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_06]: If he goes from one last week and then to this week, I mean, that's a big increased percentage wise.
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_05]: That's very true.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_05]: So I have Chris Brooks growing a touch on he hasn't scored this year.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_06]: I think he had one last year, which is his only one that he should have scored on and they'd call that back or those.
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that was a feeling that was good.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_05]: Josh Jacobs at rushing touched on he had they got called back for a legal formation or whatever.
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that was so sweet.
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_05]: 20 Ramos, like, oh, someone else was moving at the line too.
- 1:18:56[SPEAKER_05]: I re-wound it, there should not have been a flag on that play.
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_05]: Like, because the receiver was set.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_05]: Fitzpatrick, like, he was set when they snapped it.
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_05]: It was close, but he could still be in motion anyways.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_05]: So it shouldn't have been in a legal formation.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't watch like the all 22, but like what when Fitzpatrick goes in motion Is there anybody oh both why don't you either was also moving no one else was moving that's what I was looking for Okay, well, yeah, then the rough suck which is what I'm very sorry.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_05]: Those graphs did suck.
- 1:19:30[SPEAKER_06]: I haven't heard through the rough They did kind of suck
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_05]: that's it everyone's a part of you can please live a five-star review on Apple or Spotify that be cool I'll leave a review to or rating.

- 1:19:49[SPEAKER_06]: I'm always like is there comments?
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_06]: I'm so excited.
- 1:19:52[SPEAKER_05]: I think we've had a comment just about every week like I said Maybe maybe one of them missed it or maybe that was training camp or something but yeah, I always like in the comments
- 1:19:59[SPEAKER_05]: RJ are for an RJ he commented this or I had you guys at number three on my spot if I wrap this here which is really good considering a listen to a lot of podcast varieties also like Todd I'm here for the comments I'm ice fishing with my brother next week so maybe we'll leave some drunken comments between slandfish love it and for I think that was before persons uh
- 1:20:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Lee, cry.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_06]: You could cry and leave one frozen.
- 1:20:25[SPEAKER_05]: You're free out on the lake and then Ben and Hobot.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_05]: You've always like me calling.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_05]: So these games rock fights.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_05]: He commented feels like we brought a lemon to a rock fight.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_05]: which I feel like was a pretty Yeah, that's good.
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_06]: A lemon to a rock, but yeah, you don't get very far with that.
- 1:20:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:46[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe we stung in the eyes a little bit and then they got the rock in just in the second half.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_05]: Just beat the shit out of us with the rock.
- 1:20:51[SPEAKER_06]: It was like we painted our rock.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_06]: We painted our lemon black and threw it at him and they're like, it got him, like they were scared for a second.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_06]: They're like, oh, this is a lemon and then they hit us with a rock.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_05]: uh... but uh... that's it uh... remember we're playing on Saturday i think there's a game before us to i forgot who but yeah different season now you know it still i'm doing it it's a real and so do it right we can still do it we can do it it's it we need we got a rally the troops
- 1:21:24[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to be super honest.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know like I want Gary to rally everyone else because I don't know that I just like We need calling all over.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_06]: We need someone.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_06]: We need we need Breton Cox.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_06]: We need LVN.
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_06]: Like someone has to step up or it's got to be just like a wicked rotation of everyone being fresh To come in and get that pressure, but like dude like
- 1:21:46[SPEAKER_06]: with even with the D line too, it's like we're so thin at D line.
- 1:21:51[SPEAKER_06]: It's just, I don't know, it was just the wrong, wrong time.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know for thin, but it's like we need, we need that one piece.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_06]: Then like talent wise, like we don't have, you need like the, you need a divante wire down the stretch.
- 1:22:06[SPEAKER_06]: Sure.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_05]: I would say our edge position, they're all like B minuses, which is pretty good.
- 1:22:13[SPEAKER_05]: be minus jj is a B minus LVN I mean they're they're they're solid starters they're not bad, but if you're like they're sees the sees across the court maybe got oh that's yeah
- 1:22:33[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, I was gonna say that I immediately forgot what I heard you started to say.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_05]: So the other thing that I thought about too, Rashund Gary isn't a captain on this team, guys like Koi Walker, it's because the offseason videos.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_05]: Xavier McKenney and Isaiah McDuffie are and Rashund Gary isn't, which is just kind of, makes you think, just make you think a little bit.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_06]: do you put McDuffy at end?
- 1:22:55[SPEAKER_06]: No, fuck no.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_06]: Just see what he can do.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I mean, then he doesn't have to drop the Saudi coverage, which is not good.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's a ridiculous take with that Todd, do you have anything else?
- 1:23:08[SPEAKER_06]: I will just say like the one thing I was disappointed in too is that like it seemed like Parsons was getting in to like the hate the bear spirit.
- 1:23:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, I miss it We just like he's missing out on like hating the bears again two weeks later.
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_05]: So okay cool nothing else Nothing else right AJ Dylan.
- 1:23:27[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if you saw this Did you see that he was the one behind the Eagles positivity bunny?
- 1:23:33[SPEAKER_06]: I have no idea what a positivity buddy is.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_05]: The Eagles put a inflatable positivity bunny in their locker room and then the next game they lost on Thursday night football jail and hurts looked terrible and then they got rid of it apparently.
- 1:23:46[SPEAKER_05]: Is that where he threw four picks?
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:23:48[SPEAKER_05]: He had the pick and then fumbled on the same play.
- 1:23:50[SPEAKER_05]: AJ Dylan was the one who put the positivity bunny up who's a guy who's been inactive for like the last six weeks, which is just hilarious to me.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_06]: if you if you're in the locker room and like you have nothing to contribute like you're not playing if you go and put you down bunny up and it's like hmm can you let us play the game like can you just like watch us play and select try to contribute in a way that's like helpful to the team instead of like a bunny.
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_05]: because first it was just annoying it was reported that like the offensive line did but then a couple filly reporters like wrote about how agey Dylan was the guy it's just very very funny I bet he's out of the league next year but I've kind of said that before what's a bummer is it's just like I'm not getting attention because I'm on the field so like I'm gonna put on rabbit gigantic rabbits in the locker room yeah stop it
- 1:24:45[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, with that age you're doing, you're gonna all stir.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_05]: Take a cell.
- 1:24:50[SPEAKER_02]: See you, anybody on Twitter or whatever.
- 1:24:52[SPEAKER_02]: You can't do what we're doing.
- 1:24:54[SPEAKER_02]: Just enjoy it, just watch.
- 1:24:55[SPEAKER_00]: You can't do what we're doing.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_00]: Just enjoy it, just watch.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_00]: You can't do what we're doing.
- 1:25:05[SPEAKER_00]: Just enjoy it, just watch.
- 1:25:06[SPEAKER_00]: You can't do what we're doing.
- 1:25:07[SPEAKER_00]: Just enjoy it, just watch.
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_00]: You can't do what we're doing.
- 1:25:10[SPEAKER_00]: Just watch.
- 1:25:10[SPEAKER_00]: You can't do what we're doing.
- 1:25:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what it's called, I don't know, it's Connor's point, I don't know, I don't know
- 1:25:42[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, I was just showing her superior and we're like what's this place and we walked in We're like, this is the coolest cutting board place ever.
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_06]: It's on Connor's point.
- 1:25:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it doesn't make any sense It's the only actual business there.
- 1:25:54[SPEAKER_05]: It's it's crazy going on that road to it.
- 1:25:56[SPEAKER_06]: Is that the end?
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_06]: Where is that?
- 1:25:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's like mid mid island.
- 1:25:59[SPEAKER_05]: It's called like him and her something and puerle at book at the cax of this global.
- 1:26:07[SPEAKER_05]: No
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_06]: They're a dying outdoors.
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 1:26:11[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Joel and I used to shoot her bows there.
- 1:26:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, okay.
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_06]: I was just saying that's like the bow face I don't see.
- 1:26:19[SPEAKER_06]: It's closer to the honors point storage If you're a kid.
- 1:26:25[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, that's it click on it
