Transcript
- 0:05Hello, hello everybody and welcome back to another amazing
- 0:09episode of Aligned and Thriving for Teachers.
- 0:12Now I do want to change the title of this because I don't
- 0:15think it is just for teachers anymore.
- 0:17I think I've made this so broad in some cases, like educators or
- 0:21people that have anything to do with people or other humans.
- 0:24I don't know, thoughts. Just my little pondering.
- 0:28OK, so I'm still Mel, still me, and still trying to do the
- 0:32absolute best I can to share my knowledge with all of you and
- 0:35help as many people as I possibly can with my podcast and
- 0:39my knowledge. So I've said that.
- 0:41So you should already know by now if you've been listening to
- 0:43me for a while that I'm a little bit of the woo side of things.
- 0:45But honestly, it's just science. And if you know, if you know me,
- 0:50you'll know that I'm actually a really big sceptical type
- 0:53person. So before I even share any of
- 0:56this stuff today, I've obviously done my research and I'm only
- 0:59gonna bring you what I truly believe is gonna help you both
- 1:03in teaching and obviously your life.
- 1:06So yeah, let's get to it today we are.
- 1:11I'm actually currently making myself a coffee while I do this.
- 1:15So I am like super mom laughing. Make yourself a coffee because
- 1:19it's the end of the day. I need a little bit of a 3:00 PM
- 1:22pick me up. It's been a big day.
- 1:23I've been doing like acting principal duties so had a bid
- 1:27on, but we made it to the end of today and today's recording day.
- 1:30So that's just a bonus. I've set the dog up with a chew
- 1:33and I'm ready to go and sit and record for like a little bit of
- 1:38my day. So I'm just going to do the
- 1:39absolute best I can to smash out this episode because I really
- 1:43wanted to record it because I've been really passionate about
- 1:46what like I don't know, it's I've sort of created a new mini
- 1:50series that I want to talk to you about the 12 universal laws.
- 1:55I'm taking a deep breath before you think it's like all crystals
- 2:00and candles and and that type of thing.
- 2:02When you're thinking about the woo of stuff.
- 2:04It is not. And again, sceptic here.
- 2:08So it is about your energy, your mindset and how we actually show
- 2:15up. And I'm going to do my absolute
- 2:17best to try and apply this to teaching because it's so
- 2:21powerful. So in this first episode of this
- 2:24mini series, we're going to dive into four and these are like
- 2:27some of the biggest 4 laws, I think the Law of Oneness, the
- 2:31Law of Vibration, the Law of Correspondence, and one of my
- 2:35personal favourites, the Law of Attraction.
- 2:39These four are all about energy and mindset.
- 2:42So you could apply this to your classroom energy.
- 2:46Let's just get into it. So number one, I'm gonna start
- 2:49with the law of oneness. Now this law is all about
- 2:53connection. Everything is linked.
- 2:57Our thoughts, our actions, our energy, they all ripple
- 3:01outwards. Like this is the whole idea of a
- 3:04flow on effect. The energy that you put out
- 3:07doesn't just stay with you, it actually effects everyone else
- 3:11around you. As teachers, I know we've all
- 3:14felt it that day. We rush in and we're so frazzled
- 3:17and suddenly the whole class feels unsettled, just as
- 3:21unsettled as you. Or the day we greet every
- 3:24student at the door with calm and confidence and instantly the
- 3:28room just feels that bit lighter.
- 3:30That's oneness. That is the flow on effect in
- 3:34action because it's real. So what can we do as teachers,
- 3:39educators, human beings to help keep us in that vibe of oneness
- 3:45that's going to work in our favour.
- 3:47We're going to greet people individually.
- 3:50We're going to set the tone. So I know this is hard sometimes
- 3:54you're going to have to reset and rethink your own energy
- 3:57first. Because as I said, the law of
- 3:59oneness means that what you give out is what you're going to
- 4:02start to sort of get back and attract.
- 4:04So if you're walking into work and you're going to have and
- 4:08you've already had a horrible morning, like real life examples
- 4:12here, I'm a mum. Some mornings I have gotten to
- 4:15work and I have already argued with 210 year olds, one that
- 4:19thinks it's going on 18 and the other that has the maturity of a
- 4:23small child, smaller I should say.
- 4:26So I sort of had these arguments with these two mini me slash
- 4:30mini husband. I should really say more slash
- 4:34mini husband. I shouldn't admit to the fact
- 4:36that one of them is very like me.
- 4:38Anyway, if you know me and you know my children, this will all
- 4:41make sense. But we would have had some some
- 4:44things going on in the morning, and we're lucky that we've
- 4:46actually gotten out the door. We're all dressed, we're all
- 4:48functioning, we look reasonable. We've made it to the car without
- 4:53doing anything dramatic. Mind you, I probably yelled a
- 4:56few times. I'm going to be honest.
- 4:57I've needed to stop and take a few very deep breaths.
- 5:00And then when I get in the car, that is part of my reset
- 5:03routine. That is part of hitting the
- 5:05reset button and I have to flip the switch for my energy and
- 5:08then the drive to work slash school.
- 5:11That's our reset time where we sort of, we talk it out, we have
- 5:14some time, we calm down, we can put on some high vibe music if
- 5:18we're feeling a bit low to get our energy back up.
- 5:20And the whole car, the whole environment changes because
- 5:23we're actually focusing on our energy and trying to change our
- 5:26energy. So by the time I get to school
- 5:28slash work, we're in a different state and I'm ready to walk
- 5:32through those doors and so are the kids.
- 5:34We're ready for a new day because we've now hit that
- 5:36positive vibe. So then we're going to like
- 5:40attract that as well. So it goes back and forth.
- 5:43So you might need to do a 32nd check in with yourself before
- 5:47you get in the car, before you go to class.
- 5:49It's those things that I've talked about before of taking a
- 5:53deep breath, stopping to actually count and counting down
- 5:58like 54321, because then you've actually got to do an action.
- 6:03So then you've got to move forward.
- 6:04You've got to go through the door.
- 6:05You're gonna just have to change your mindset and get going.
- 6:08Sorry, I just clicked. That was a habit I like.
- 6:10I physically clicked my fingers and I just did it again because
- 6:12I talk with my hands. OK, so you can imagine I'm
- 6:15clicking and clicking your brain into gear.
- 6:18Another thing that you can do like an action step is model
- 6:21kindness. Like 1 little act of compassion,
- 6:25it can set off a whole ripple effect for the rest of the day.
- 6:28Like seriously, my theory in my head sometimes one of my
- 6:32affirmations is like kill them with kindness.
- 6:34Like absolutely smother them with kindness because you are
- 6:37going to attract that back. And it actually starts to really
- 6:40annoy some people because you are so calm, cool, collected and
- 6:44kind that they're like, Oh my gosh, I'm finding it so hard to
- 6:47be mean to you because you're being so annoyed.
- 6:49And that's, that's the law of oneness right there in action.
- 6:52So there you go. That's the law of oneness.
- 6:54That is one of the 12 universal laws of the world.
- 6:56There you go #2 I'm going to talk to you about the law of
- 7:00vibration. I'm just going to stop and have
- 7:02a sip of my coffee because this is going to help increase my
- 7:05vibration. And I'm kind of glad that you
- 7:09can't see me because I literally just have milk froth on my nose.
- 7:13Oh my goodness, this is real. That's fixed.
- 7:16OK, so the law of vibration, this links again directly to the
- 7:21oneness. Science literally proves it.
- 7:24If you can put anything under a microscope, right?
- 7:28And if you ever have and you've looked and you'll see that it's
- 7:30actually moving like little particles, they're having a
- 7:32little party. They're actually vibrating
- 7:34because everything is energy. And here's the kicker, the
- 7:39frequency that you vibrate at matters.
- 7:42If you want to attract high vibe things like joy, peace, ease,
- 7:47you need to get yourself into a high vibe state.
- 7:50Seriously, you can set yourself up for the absolute best day by
- 7:54setting you up properly. For me, this is part of my
- 7:58morning routine. It's the meditation.
- 7:59It's my morning to get set in my mind set get set in my mindset.
- 8:04Poop, poop, sorry. It's, it's that process.
- 8:08So it's taking the time to get yourself into that vibration.
- 8:12So when I'm saying go get yourself into high vibe, if
- 8:15you're low vibe, get into high vibe, this is what I'm talking
- 8:17about. It's the law of vibration.
- 8:18It's trying to hype yourself up. If you actually search on
- 8:22Spotify or whatever platform you're listening to, you can
- 8:25find some really amazing playlists that can help get you
- 8:28into high vibe. So that's all part of it.
- 8:32When you notice yourself slipping into that low vibe
- 8:35energy, the best reset that you can sort of do, it's a quick
- 8:39high vibe activity. It could be taking some deep
- 8:41breaths. See, look, I love my breathing.
- 8:44Keep breathing people. It could be blasting your
- 8:46favourite song, singing in the car, getting yourself up and
- 8:50about, going for a short little walk, like getting out in
- 8:53nature, get outside, go for a walk and come back and reset.
- 8:57It could be writing three things down right then and there that
- 9:01you are grateful for. And I will say this again and
- 9:04again and again, gratitude is one of the highest vibrations.
- 9:09It's, it's been proven like there are facts and things
- 9:12written all about it. I'm not going to quote them now,
- 9:14but it is the highest vibration. So if you are beginning and
- 9:18ending each and every one of your days for the rest of your
- 9:21life with gratitude, you come back and tell me that you did
- 9:24not notice a change. Because I will eat my words.
- 9:27Literally, I will eat my words. I will eat the piece of paper.
- 9:30I will do whatever because I want to prove to you that it is
- 9:32the truth. It gets you high vibe because it
- 9:35is one of the highest vibrating things because you are being
- 9:38grateful and you don't need to be like grateful and thankful
- 9:41for the massive like it's the tiniest little things like thank
- 9:44you, it rained. OK, that is awesome.
- 9:47You can choose to be low vibe and be like, oh great, it's
- 9:50raining inside. Play this sucks.
- 9:52Or you can choose to be high vibe.
- 9:53Yep, it's raining today. It might not rain tomorrow.
- 9:55I'm grateful for the rain today because it has made plants grow.
- 9:59Ducks can play in it. The kids outside when they're
- 10:02leaving are playing in the puddles and they're having fun.
- 10:05They are becoming high vibe. If you're on tank water like I
- 10:08am, it is filling my tanks up with water before summer, which
- 10:11is awesome. Or I could go, yes mate, I can
- 10:14go have a bath tonight because it's rained.
- 10:17That is the story of a girl who has lived her entire life on
- 10:20tank water. So whenever I'm like I have that
- 10:23person that will go to the air baby be like I'm going to have
- 10:26the world's longest shower because it's not my water.
- 10:31So again, high vibe. It'll get me high vibe because
- 10:33I'm not paying for it and I'm going to enjoy every single
- 10:36minute. It is going to be the shower
- 10:38like the shave your legs, wash your hair, do a hair mask,
- 10:40shower because if you are on tank water, if you know, you
- 10:44know. So other things that you can do
- 10:47to get yourself high vibe, like as I said, start your day with
- 10:50some gratitude. What are some things you're
- 10:52thankful for? Start with a high vibe ritual,
- 10:56whether that's listening to music, doing some journaling for
- 10:58me, meditation, affirmations, create yourself a little reset
- 11:02strategy for in between your classes.
- 11:05Again, breathing or saying a little mantra or having a
- 11:08stretch. There are some really awesome
- 11:10standing stretches that can just help release some of that
- 11:13tension and help build you back up to high vibe and use some
- 11:17positive language deliberately because words carry vibrations
- 11:21that the kids will feel. So if you're using that really
- 11:24nice high vibe kind happiness language, the vibrations going
- 11:27to increase there as well. OK, so you should really know by
- 11:32now that all of that stuff works together.
- 11:35It's all part of it. Everything vibrates and we can
- 11:38see all of that. So you're going to set your
- 11:42vibration before you go into your class, say, or your
- 11:44workplace, 2 minutes in the car, the staff room or at your desk
- 11:47before the bell. Close your eyes, breathe deeply
- 11:51and imagine yourself radiating calm, confident energy.
- 11:56If you need a visualisation strategy, you can imagine that
- 12:00you have your own little glowing bubble of white light
- 12:04surrounding you and that is like giving out this calm, confident
- 12:10energy. It's surrounding you and that's
- 12:12the vibe that your students are going to feel when you walk in
- 12:14because you are feeling it, you are vibing it, you're putting
- 12:17that out, raising your vibration.
- 12:19During the day, if your energy in the room is feeling a bit
- 12:22flat or chaotic, you need to change your your frequency.
- 12:25This is when you need to do your brain breaks.
- 12:26So it might be the lifting up ones or it might be bringing
- 12:28down. If they are too high vibe, you
- 12:30might need to bring them down. So you need to judge that.
- 12:33You could be playing some upbeat music, doing a bit of a dance
- 12:35party, getting them moving with a stretch or a brain break as I
- 12:38said, or even use a bit of humour, use some brain brain
- 12:42teasers like stuff like that. Energy just shifts instantly
- 12:45when you shift yours. Anchor some high vibe routines.
- 12:50So start your class every day with some gratitude or wins for
- 12:53the day. Get your students to share
- 12:55something good from their day, something that they are looking
- 12:58forward to and it can be anything.
- 13:00Give them some examples if they don't have any ideas because you
- 13:03want them to think of something, anything that is positive.
- 13:07This will raise the collective vibration of everyone in the
- 13:10whole group. And then you need to notice and
- 13:12reset those low vibe times. So if you feel yourself getting
- 13:17pulled into that negativity, so many frustration, the overwhelm,
- 13:20the exhaustion, you've got to pause, you've got to reset.
- 13:24You've got to do what's going to help reset your body.
- 13:26So whether that is stopping to take a deep breath, smiling,
- 13:31like forcing yourself to smile will actually start changing
- 13:35your vibration again. Go and have a go When you're in
- 13:38that low vibe state and tell me it doesn't work.
- 13:41Go for a little walk or grab a drink like I did this afternoon.
- 13:44I was getting a little bit low vibe.
- 13:45So I did a bit of a dance. I made myself coffee and I'm
- 13:48back up there ready to record. You can just shift that
- 13:53vibration and, and stop that low vibe from like spilling over
- 13:56into your class. So and just remember, you do not
- 13:59need to be high vibe all the time.
- 14:01I mean, I may come across that way a lot because I'm a super
- 14:06hyper like positive person most of the time.
- 14:09Like when I'm up, I'm up and when I'm down, it takes a little
- 14:12while to Get Me Out of that low vibe back into high vibe.
- 14:15But it's not very long anymore. But we're human.
- 14:19You need to just be aware of your vibration because if you
- 14:22are aware of this, it gives you the power to choose and that
- 14:26choice will not just impact you, but every child you teach, every
- 14:29human you like, you come into contact with everyone.
- 14:32So just ask yourself, what vibe am I bringing with me today?
- 14:35What vibe am I bringing to work? Like what are people going to
- 14:38get off me? What's my vibe today?
- 14:40OK, so that's the law of vibration.
- 14:43Now I'm going to talk to you about deep breath, the law of
- 14:46correspondence. Now this one, this one's a fun
- 14:49one. It's all about patterns.
- 14:51So it's it's like really deep. So as within, so without is like
- 14:57the theory. So your outer world reflects
- 15:01your inner world. So the energy that you give out
- 15:05is always going to come back to you.
- 15:09And as as you can see, as I start talking more and more, all
- 15:12of these laws like relate to each other.
- 15:14They bounce off each other. It's this one's basically karma.
- 15:17So what you put out into the universe comes full circle.
- 15:21So if you're constantly giving out negativity, stress, or
- 15:25impatient, well, guess what's going to be reflected straight
- 15:28back at you. But if you give out kindness and
- 15:31calm and clarity, you'll notice that there's a ripple effect of
- 15:36that too. So as teachers and educators
- 15:38like this shows up in so many little ways from the tone that
- 15:42we set, the boundaries that we hold and the way that we respond
- 15:46to challenges. It all comes back to you in some
- 15:50way. And I know for some of you like,
- 15:52Oh no, it doesn't. Though it may not be instant,
- 15:55it's not going to be like a snap your fingers and there you go.
- 15:58It takes time. So just because you've been so
- 16:01high positive, high vibe state does not mean that the whole
- 16:05world's going to change in a day.
- 16:06It's going to take time, but as within, so without, the more
- 16:10you're changing your insides, the better your outside is going
- 16:13to get and the better your perception of what's going on
- 16:15outside is going to be. OK, It's all positive.
- 16:17If you are becoming that way inside, what can you do to help
- 16:21yourself get into the groove of this whole lore You can think
- 16:26about and have that journal time at the end of your day.
- 16:29So what energy did I bring into my classroom today?
- 16:32You need to stop and notice patterns.
- 16:34OK, so when you have a student in your class and the probably
- 16:39the hard to love kid that's acting out, I want you to ask
- 16:42yourself what are you projecting back onto that child?
- 16:45Because if you are projecting love and kindness and doing that
- 16:50repeatedly and being consistent, it's going to come back to you
- 16:54and that child will appreciate that in the long run because
- 16:58that is the law of correspondence.
- 17:00OK. So again, the flip side of that
- 17:04is as within, so without, you've got to imagine that this child
- 17:07is probably someone who does not have so much positivity or love
- 17:12or kindness or thoughts of positivity about themselves.
- 17:16So that's what their external projection is going to be
- 17:20because they don't have those feelings.
- 17:22So you have to be that feeling for them and you have to educate
- 17:25them on how to do that. You need to be that person that
- 17:28they can turn to that is consistent and loving and kind
- 17:31in the way that you're dealing with it.
- 17:33You can still discipline children, but do it with
- 17:36kindness, and that's what they need.
- 17:37So think about what are you projecting onto that child?
- 17:42OK, Reframe your problems as lessons.
- 17:45So this isn't happening to me, it's happening for me.
- 17:50Life doesn't happen to you, it happens for you.
- 17:53If you heard Nyla in the background, she just growled.
- 17:55So she agrees. So life happens for you, not to
- 17:59you. So please stop thinking that
- 18:01that's how it is. All right.
- 18:03So I hope all of that part made sense.
- 18:06The last one I want to talk to you about today is one of my
- 18:09most favourite laws because it's the law of attraction, OK?
- 18:15Like attracts like whatever your vibing that's what you'll
- 18:20attract. So if you want more abundance,
- 18:23joy and connection, you've got to be putting out those vibes
- 18:27first. And the most beautiful part, it
- 18:30often comes back in ways that you don't even expect it to come
- 18:34back. This is one of the reasons why I
- 18:37think I find journaling so important to me, because when
- 18:41you go back and you look at your old entries, you might actually
- 18:45realise how many things you have achieved.
- 18:49Or if you want to call it manifested, sometimes without
- 18:52even realising it in the moment, it is proof that what you focus
- 18:57on actually grows and gets bigger and better.
- 19:01So this is really key for me. This is why I do stuff like
- 19:06writing your goals at the start of the year might not be goals,
- 19:09but things that you want to set out and achieve.
- 19:11You might have a vision board for your year and say, OK, this
- 19:14year, this is what I want for my family.
- 19:16This is what for my work, this is what I want for my class.
- 19:19These are all the things you can do it on Pinterest.
- 19:21Just have like a Pinterest board of your classroom and these are
- 19:23the things I want for my year. These are the things I want for
- 19:26my term. You go back to my episode about
- 19:28manifesting a better term. Go back through that and do
- 19:30those things. You can do this for your whole
- 19:33life. I have lots of journals.
- 19:36That's a bit sad, isn't it? Well, no, it's not sad.
- 19:39I have a lot of journals because I like to journal about
- 19:42different things. So I have a specific journal for
- 19:45the books that I read so I can reflect upon what I've read and
- 19:49then apply it to my life. And then I can go back through
- 19:52and like, oh, hang on, I did read something about that and
- 19:54I've usually got a note about it and that will just jog my
- 19:56memory. Then I've got my journal that I
- 19:59write in every night. That's sort of the rundown of
- 20:02the day. I write about things, three
- 20:04things I'm grateful for and my mood throughout the day so I can
- 20:07sort of gauge how I was vibing. I then have another journal that
- 20:12I don't use every day. It's one that I focus on at the
- 20:16start of a month. I sort of focus on, this is what
- 20:18I want to achieve this month. These are my goals.
- 20:21These are things that I'm going to remember.
- 20:23And then I can sort of reflect back and go on, OK, what did I
- 20:26achieve last month? What?
- 20:28And, and when you're reflecting, it's amazing because I didn't
- 20:31realise that there was one month where I actually had achieved
- 20:34everything, but I'd forgotten about it.
- 20:36I'd like set out my plan and go on.
- 20:38Yep, these are the things I want to do, what I want to achieve.
- 20:41And then just sort of push it to the side.
- 20:43Got on with my life, did all the things that I thought in my
- 20:46head, got to the end of the month and was like, I got really
- 20:49busy this month. What, what, what, what were I
- 20:51actually trying to achieve? And then I'd go back through and
- 20:53go, Oh my goodness. I didn't even know that that's
- 20:56what I had attracted. I had done everything that I'd
- 21:00set out to do because I was so focused on just putting out what
- 21:04I'm like, OK, if I want to achieve this, this is how I need
- 21:07to act. And so I was just acting like my
- 21:08future self without even sort of trying hard.
- 21:12And I had achieved everything that I'd set out to achieve.
- 21:14So then you just get that instant sense of abundance and
- 21:18joy because you're like, yes, Oh my gosh, I've, I'm so grateful
- 21:23because I have achieved it. It's that evidence.
- 21:25It is evidence. It's an evidence journal.
- 21:28You could start an evidence journal every week.
- 21:29You could jot down the moments when good things came your way.
- 21:33You are thanking and putting that thought back out into
- 21:36whatever you believe in. So whether it's a universe, God,
- 21:38whatever, but you are putting it back out there to say, look,
- 21:42thank you, I want more of that, Give me more of that.
- 21:44I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and get even better
- 21:47because then that's going to come back to me.
- 21:49I'm the type of person. And again, if you have not
- 21:52listened to some of my earlier episodes, go back to those.
- 21:56I've talked about the fact that I was brought up in a family
- 22:00where, OK, so my dad is, is Dutch.
- 22:04There is a very stereotypical type that goes with Dutch people
- 22:08that we're known to be stingy. OK, so when I was in high
- 22:11school, I would stop and I'd pick up $0.10 off the ground and
- 22:14be like, yay money. I scored $0.10, yay me.
- 22:18And people would laugh and be like, Oh my gosh, you're so
- 22:20stingy. It's $0.10.
- 22:21Hello. I've just told the universe I've
- 22:25got money. Thank you universe, thank you
- 22:27for this money. I in that time you could go to
- 22:30the canteen and buy a lolly strap with $0.10.
- 22:33Now good luck to you, but that to me true abundance.
- 22:38Thank you universe for my $0.10. I'm going to go to the canteen
- 22:41now and buy a sour strap. Sick.
- 22:44I'm I'm set. But yet there were people that
- 22:48did not have that law of attraction going for them
- 22:50because they were like, Oh my gosh, you're so stingy.
- 22:52You just picked up $0.10. No, look at me now, what am I
- 22:57attracting now? Like it is your perception, what
- 23:01you put out, that's what you're going to get back.
- 23:04That's what you're attracting. So focus more on that.
- 23:07Visualise your ideal class and how you want them to be every
- 23:12morning. Set the tone before your kids
- 23:13get there. OK, It just all it makes sense
- 23:18and all of this sort of information.
- 23:20So I read a lot. It may not be a physical actual
- 23:22book, it'll be an audio book. Or I do have my Kindle.
- 23:25Like I, I have a variety of strategies depending on what I
- 23:29like. Sometimes I will get an audio
- 23:31book 1st and I am one of those horrible people that listens to
- 23:34it in like 1.5. So they're talking really,
- 23:38really fast. But I also tend to talk really,
- 23:42really fast sometimes when I get excited about things.
- 23:44So if you listen to my podcast in 1.5, like go for it.
- 23:47Do I sound like a chipmunk? Because sometimes if I was
- 23:49talking really, really fast and then you put me in 1.5, I'd
- 23:52speed up. That would be fun.
- 23:53Sorry, way off topic, bringing myself back.
- 23:57Sorry. I would might listen to an audio
- 23:59book and then if I thought, oh, I really wanna go back to that,
- 24:02it's I find it difficult to find the spot when you're reading an
- 24:06audio book or listening to an audio book.
- 24:08So then I might actually order the physical book if I wanna
- 24:11physically like highlight or take notes.
- 24:14And then I've got some that I've got on my Kindle.
- 24:16But then I've taken so many notes in my journal for my book
- 24:20reading that I would just go back to my journal to look at
- 24:22that. But then if I really need the
- 24:24actual context from the book, I can just get it on Kindle and do
- 24:27it that way. So yeah, it just depends because
- 24:29sometimes obviously your Kindle and your phone, they can all run
- 24:33out of battery. So it's always good to have a
- 24:35paperback sitting there. So I've sort of got a rotation
- 24:37going on pile of books and I'm still reading and working my way
- 24:39through. But this sort of information,
- 24:42it's all going to come from research and things that I have
- 24:45read. It doesn't just come out of thin
- 24:47air. I'm not an expert in that area
- 24:49and I've never ever claimed to be an expert in anything.
- 24:54I'm just sharing my real world connection, knowledge, all of
- 24:59the things and the research that I have done.
- 25:01And I will tell you the right people to go to, to get the
- 25:05formal research or the formal information because that's what
- 25:09I'm trying to attract. Like, as I said, like attracts
- 25:11like if I'm putting out into the universe that this is the stuff
- 25:14that I want and I want to learn about and I want to build more
- 25:16because I want to help people. That's the vibe that I'm hoping
- 25:19I'm putting out, if that makes sense.
- 25:21So today's podcast. So this has come from me reading
- 25:26and learning about the 12 laws of the universe.
- 25:29And then this is basically my really short interpretation of
- 25:34those 12 laws. Now I've only talked about four
- 25:36today, so just the four. They're four big ones.
- 25:40I've learnt a lot about the law. Yes, thank you Nyla.
- 25:44I've learnt a lot about the law of attraction.
- 25:48Nyla is trying to attract more food by her barking.
- 25:53They're not just out there concepts, they're practical,
- 25:55they're science based. They're backed by science, I
- 25:58should say, and it's going to show up now that you know about
- 26:02some of these, they're going to, you're going to see them showing
- 26:04up in your classroom or in your workspace every single day.
- 26:07So for this next week, because I release these on a Sunday for
- 26:10this next week, I want you to experiment with some of these.
- 26:13Like pick one of the steps that I've talked about, just one from
- 26:17today's episode, and try and put it into practise and notice what
- 26:20changes. Notice how your energy shifts
- 26:23and how your students or your work colleagues actually
- 26:26respond. Next week, I'm going to dive
- 26:30into Part 2 of this miniseries all about action and the growth
- 26:34and the universal laws that remind us of why our effort
- 26:38matters and how we can transform challenges into opportunities.
- 26:43OK, so until then guys, I want you to keep your vibe high and
- 26:48your energy aligned because this is aligned and thriving for
- 26:50teachers. And in Case No one told you
- 26:53today, you are amazing. You are doing the best job you
- 26:58possibly can do. And if you're not, you're going
- 27:00to go and put on your high vibe playlist and you're going to go
- 27:03get high vibe because you are loved, you are cared for.
- 27:07And if no one's told you that, like I love you, I care about
- 27:10all of you. I'm here to help and love and
- 27:12support however I can. My DMS are always open if you
- 27:16need someone just to check in with.
- 27:18I'm always happy to talk. So until next time, I'll talk to
- 27:22you soon. Bye, guys.
- 27:50Music.
