- 0:58Speaker 4: You you.
- 1:24Speaker 5: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You've probably got to turn the mouth mount turn the
- 1:47Speaker 2: water the water up looking.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come on, you'll think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 6: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvis.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Man oh man got a radio show? Yeah, I do.
- 2:12Speaker 7: God so big to me, man, I just have to
- 2:15Speaker 7: tell you about it. I can't help it. It's rather
- 2:19Speaker 7: obvious to me how big, how good God is. He's
- 2:23Speaker 7: absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain, you know, man, I
- 2:28Speaker 7: want to share something with you today. You know, if
- 2:32Speaker 7: you're out there, start your mission today. Why don't we
- 2:37Speaker 7: all decide together better yet, let's just kill that couns
- 2:41Speaker 7: You don't that just individually?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Look you listening.
- 2:45Speaker 7: Everybody's got something that's that's on the table that they
- 2:49Speaker 7: haven't yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start
- 2:53Speaker 7: your mission today? Stop the procrastination. Now, and if you
- 2:58Speaker 7: and if you allow prass to excuse man, if you
- 3:00Speaker 7: allow procrastination to set in, then that that allows then
- 3:07Speaker 7: which is a weakness, you know, but that allows the
- 3:10Speaker 7: devil then to just really do his thing, because an
- 3:13Speaker 7: idle mind is the devil's playground. So if you ain't
- 3:16Speaker 7: working on your goals, dreams, aspirations or visions, you just
- 3:19Speaker 7: you're just waking up seeing how today gon go or
- 3:22Speaker 7: the devil he got plenty for it for you to do.
- 3:25Speaker 1: See.
- 3:26Speaker 7: But if you get your mind right on your goal
- 3:28Speaker 7: and your focus and your purpose, then you can go
- 3:30Speaker 7: on about your business. Then when the distraction comes, you
- 3:33Speaker 7: can catch yourself.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Now.
- 3:35Speaker 7: Don't mean you ain't gonna fall privy or fall prey
- 3:37Speaker 7: to some of your distractions, because you will, but you
- 3:41Speaker 7: will have a goal in mind and aspiration that makes
- 3:44Speaker 7: you go. Hold on, man, I got to stay focused
- 3:46Speaker 7: here because what I really want while I'm really trying
- 3:49Speaker 7: to go the thing that I'm really after, this new
- 3:52Speaker 7: little thing that's being introduced, this don't fit into the equation. Man,
- 3:57Speaker 7: Let me keep it moving, or you may step off
- 4:00Speaker 7: the line for a little while, you know, Like I
- 4:02Speaker 7: said yesterday, thing about God is he's so forgiving that
- 4:05Speaker 7: if you get out of line, he'll hold your place.
- 4:08Speaker 7: See that's the real cool thing. A lot of people
- 4:10Speaker 7: do that for you too. Like I said, if you're
- 4:11Speaker 7: at the movie theater, or you at the amusement park
- 4:13Speaker 7: and you in the line and you forget something, if
- 4:15Speaker 7: you politely ask the person behind you, hey, man, I
- 4:18Speaker 7: gotta run to my car left something, would you hold
- 4:20Speaker 7: my place? Most people say fine, Ye'll go ahead, and
- 4:23Speaker 7: when you come back, they don't have a problem. See
- 4:25Speaker 7: your problem is is you want to get out the line,
- 4:28Speaker 7: go do something, then come back and just get up
- 4:30Speaker 7: in the line further up than you were, or cut somebody.
- 4:33Speaker 7: Now you got a problem because see everybody looking at
- 4:36Speaker 7: you now like hy woa partner where you come from?
- 4:38Speaker 7: You know the line start back here? But see the
- 4:41Speaker 7: thing with God is God don't do that. God don't
- 4:44Speaker 7: say the line start back here. God holds your place.
- 4:47Speaker 7: When you make a mistake and you fall off the line,
- 4:50Speaker 7: God holds your place. But if you ain't got no dreams, aspiration,
- 4:54Speaker 7: if you ain't got no place, what he holding for you? See,
- 4:58Speaker 7: I mean he got a place for you, But you
- 5:00Speaker 7: gotta come to it. See some people if well, here's
- 5:04Speaker 7: what I'm saying. If you got a goal of aspiration
- 5:07Speaker 7: to dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 5:11Speaker 7: get back to that because God knows where you left off.
- 5:16Speaker 7: Now you may have to accomplish a few more things
- 5:18Speaker 7: since you stopped for a long period of time, but
- 5:20Speaker 7: God know where you left off, you can get back
- 5:23Speaker 7: on track. I look, man, this dream of being on
- 5:26Speaker 7: TV since I was a kid, and it got off track.
- 5:29Speaker 7: Now it got off track. I just kept it as
- 5:32Speaker 7: one of the dreams. And in some real dog moments
- 5:36Speaker 7: when it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I
- 5:39Speaker 7: was hanging on to is just the hope that one
- 5:41Speaker 7: day it could. But that's what faith is really about.
- 5:45Speaker 7: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 5:49Speaker 7: But faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man,
- 5:53Speaker 7: Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse
- 5:57Speaker 7: Jackson say it just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's
- 6:00Speaker 7: just the hope. I was hanging on a hope. And
- 6:05Speaker 7: I'm talking about when it got real ugly and funky
- 6:08Speaker 7: out there for me, when it looked like I wasn't
- 6:10Speaker 7: gonna ever make it, and all of the facts was
- 6:14Speaker 7: in and everything pointed in the direction you not gonna
- 6:17Speaker 7: make it. You done really messed up this time. Then
- 6:20Speaker 7: I sat there and I just hung on to the hope.
- 6:24Speaker 7: But man, that's what I'm saying. If you got a
- 6:27Speaker 7: dream on aspiration of vision or something, when you fall
- 6:31Speaker 7: off track and you want to go get back in line,
- 6:34Speaker 7: God holds your place. He knew I was off tracking,
- 6:38Speaker 7: out of line, but he said, okay, here's where we stopped.
- 6:41Speaker 7: You want to be on TV. Now, when you get
- 6:43Speaker 7: it together and you quit tripping, and you come and
- 6:45Speaker 7: your turn to me, I'm gonna hold your place, put
- 6:47Speaker 7: you back in line. Then we're gonna finish the journey.
- 6:49Speaker 7: That took me a lot longer to get here than
- 6:51Speaker 7: I wanted to. But then it was necessary because I
- 6:54Speaker 7: needed all of them mishaps to happen to me along
- 6:57Speaker 7: the way. So when I got on the radio one day,
- 6:59Speaker 7: which I then I see coming, Steve Harvey got a
- 7:02Speaker 7: radio show, y'all. That's why I say it every day.
- 7:04Speaker 7: See because of this radio show that I didn't see coming.
- 7:07Speaker 7: Now I have stories to tell, and I can tell
- 7:11Speaker 7: you about me better than I can tell you about anybody,
- 7:14Speaker 7: and I don't been through enough whereas relatable, where enough
- 7:18Speaker 7: people can go mad.
- 7:19Speaker 1: That happened to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what
- 7:22Speaker 1: it was for. See, I get it now.
- 7:23Speaker 7: See at the time, though I didn't like what was
- 7:26Speaker 7: happening to me. At the time, I was really in
- 7:29Speaker 7: total disagreement with God on a lot of stuff he
- 7:31Speaker 7: was pulling off on me. But in essence I was
- 7:34Speaker 7: really pulling it off on myself. But through his grace
- 7:38Speaker 7: and mercy, he kept me through all of my mistakes,
- 7:41Speaker 7: all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations, all my misfires,
- 7:46Speaker 7: all the times I knowingly stepped out there and did wrong.
- 7:51Speaker 7: He forgave me, he said, because man, if you ever
- 7:54Speaker 7: come to me, I have a plan for you that
- 7:58Speaker 7: it's going to be far and above. It will supersede
- 8:01Speaker 7: everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what I did. I
- 8:05Speaker 7: just got sick of me. Goodn't sick of me? And
- 8:09Speaker 7: I turned it over to God. And then God started
- 8:12Speaker 7: working And here I am today. Now He threw with me.
- 8:16Speaker 7: Yet Nope, have I arrived yet?
- 8:19Speaker 1: Nope?
- 8:20Speaker 7: But guess what the journey is cool? And then you
- 8:24Speaker 7: know what I found out. That's kind of what it's
- 8:26Speaker 7: like in life. If you done walked off the cliff
- 8:29Speaker 7: in life and you ain't got no God in your life,
- 8:33Speaker 7: it's like not having a parachute. You step off the
- 8:36Speaker 7: cliff and you just free falling. We all now that
- 8:40Speaker 7: fag gets you closer to the grave, right see, we
- 8:42Speaker 7: all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.
- 8:45Speaker 7: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 8:48Speaker 7: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 8:51Speaker 7: here a parachute. You still going down, but it's a
- 8:54Speaker 7: nice ride. You guide and you're glide and you're softly,
- 8:58Speaker 7: you enjoying. You look around, you smiling, You're meeting other
- 9:01Speaker 7: people along the way. You're floating over here to ski
- 9:05Speaker 7: a little while. You over there at the beach for
- 9:08Speaker 7: a little while. You mess around over here, you get
- 9:10Speaker 7: to go out the country a little bit on your
- 9:12Speaker 7: parachuting and all that, and God just helps your descent
- 9:16Speaker 7: appear more like a rise and more like a euphoric
- 9:20Speaker 7: fall instead of not having no God in your life
- 9:23Speaker 7: and you just walking off that cliff every day free falling.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Ain't got no cord you.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Steady pulling, you hollering the whole way because you to
- 9:32Speaker 7: mess around with yourself and ain't let God come into
- 9:35Speaker 7: your life and provide.
- 9:36Speaker 1: A parachute for you.
- 9:38Speaker 7: I would rather have a parachute since I got to
- 9:41Speaker 7: jump every day, than to not have one. God has
- 9:44Speaker 7: been like a parachute for me. Ask me where that
- 9:48Speaker 7: came from. I can't tell you. But like I always say,
- 9:52Speaker 7: most good things that happen in my life that I
- 9:54Speaker 7: can't explain, its usually him.
- 9:57Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, Good morning, Sunshine.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And a brand new Day. Yeah, that's not a song
- 10:16Speaker 1: at all. I just made that up.
- 10:18Speaker 7: I just wanted to say, good morning, sunshine and the
- 10:21Speaker 7: brand new day because he's done it again, created another
- 10:26Speaker 7: one as only he can do another day. Man, All
- 10:30Speaker 7: praise to God, all money, ladies and gentlemen, This is
- 10:34Speaker 7: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Make no mistake about it. Well,
- 10:38Speaker 7: we simply at the top.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Of the day, just want to remind you of this
- 10:43Speaker 1: wonderful thing.
- 10:43Speaker 7: You have called life. Partaking it today. Get your mental
- 10:48Speaker 7: capacity lined up with the universe. Put put put put
- 10:53Speaker 7: put good intentional vibes out there and a lot of
- 10:58Speaker 7: good intentional vibes will come back. It's a law of attraction,
- 11:02Speaker 7: ladies and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica
- 11:06Speaker 7: Junior to come back.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Kid and the legend of nephew Tommy Junior. What is
- 11:11Speaker 1: it today?
- 11:13Speaker 9: Well, let's just talk about it.
- 11:14Speaker 10: Man.
- 11:16Speaker 11: What's one of the biggest lessons you've learned in your
- 11:18Speaker 11: career this far, all the way up to sixty nine?
- 11:21Speaker 1: Oh career?
- 11:22Speaker 7: Yes, well, god, oh boy, it's been so so many Well,
- 11:33Speaker 7: I will tell you this, man. My career just like
- 11:36Speaker 7: a person's job or any other person's career choice, there's
- 11:41Speaker 7: a difference from me from a job and a career.
- 11:46Speaker 7: A job is something you do that you have decided
- 11:50Speaker 7: to do that will pay your bills and get you
- 11:53Speaker 7: through the journey. A career is something you choose to
- 11:57Speaker 7: do that you want to do, you know, Like most
- 12:00Speaker 7: people have a career as a lawyer because they went
- 12:03Speaker 7: to school specifically to be a lawyer.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Or have a career as a doctor, or you know,
- 12:08Speaker 1: a career as a radio host.
- 12:11Speaker 7: You know, you know, But there are some people who
- 12:15Speaker 7: have jobs who didn't really go to school to be
- 12:17Speaker 7: a driver or go to school to be a construction worker.
- 12:22Speaker 7: That have wonderfully happy lives, you know, So you can
- 12:26Speaker 7: have a happy life between a job and a career. Now,
- 12:29Speaker 7: what I've learned is this, you have a say so
- 12:33Speaker 7: in either one. And that's what I've learned the most
- 12:37Speaker 7: in my career. You have a say so in either one.
- 12:41Speaker 7: So if you are in if you are unhappy with
- 12:46Speaker 7: the way your life has turned or is turning, you
- 12:50Speaker 7: have a say so. You have a choice in the matter.
- 12:56Speaker 7: You don't have to wake up every day and do
- 12:58Speaker 7: something you don't enjoy doing. You can make a decision.
- 13:03Speaker 7: The problem with that decision is a lot of people
- 13:06Speaker 7: are afraid to make it because of what they create,
- 13:08Speaker 7: what they think will be the stop gap in between
- 13:12Speaker 7: them not doing what they have to do and trying
- 13:15Speaker 7: to go and do what they want to do, and
- 13:18Speaker 7: they are afraid of the stop gap.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I got bills to pay. You gonna always have bills
- 13:25Speaker 1: to pay.
- 13:25Speaker 7: I got bills, Bill Gate got bills, Tyler Perry got bills, everybody,
- 13:31Speaker 7: Oprah got bills.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Okay, all right, coming up with thirty two minutes after
- 13:41Speaker 4: the hour, we'll run that prink back with the nephew.
- 13:44Speaker 8: Right after this, you're listening Hardy Morning show.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Life is unpredictable, but protecting your family doesn't have to
- 13:56Speaker 4: be complicated. Bloodlife helps family secure their future with simple

- 14:07Speaker 4: forty nine cents a month. Globe Life Insurance is easy
- 14:10Speaker 4: to buy. Called Globe Life today at one eight hundred

- 14:17Speaker 4: dot com. That's one eight hundred two five one fifty
- 14:20Speaker 4: four hundred or Globelife radio dot com. It is time
- 14:24Speaker 4: now to run that prank back with the nephew, What
- 14:26Speaker 4: you got for us?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Nep I got it for you, certainly.
- 14:29Speaker 12: This right here is your house. Here's my house. Oh,
- 14:34Speaker 12: just that simple, just that simple, your house, Here is

- 14:45Speaker 12: house and my house. Now, well we at, let's go
- 14:48Speaker 12: cat dog if you.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Would Hello Hello, I'm trying to reach Russell's.
- 14:54Speaker 10: Yeah, this is Russell.
- 14:55Speaker 12: Hi Russell, I'm Isaiah. I'm a a relative real estate
- 15:00Speaker 12: and I'm trying to do some schematics. I think I'm
- 15:03Speaker 12: I'm calling the right house. I'm not quite sure. Are
- 15:06Speaker 12: you West Dixie Road?
- 15:09Speaker 4: Uh?
- 15:09Speaker 10: Yeah, that's me.
- 15:12Speaker 1: How many square feet is your house? If you don't
- 15:13Speaker 1: mind me.
- 15:14Speaker 10: Asking, it's about thirty five hundred square feet?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Oh no, this is the right house or not? Is
- 15:20Speaker 1: this you have a deck out in the back of
- 15:22Speaker 1: all weather type of deck out in the back? Uh?
- 15:24Speaker 10: Yeah, I do. Well, what do you?
- 15:26Speaker 5: What do you?
- 15:26Speaker 1: What do you?
- 15:27Speaker 10: What's this about?
- 15:28Speaker 1: Okay, if you don't mind me, how long have you
- 15:31Speaker 1: lived there?
- 15:32Speaker 10: My man, I've already asked you twice, and you're asking
- 15:35Speaker 10: me for like person information on my crib with a
- 15:38Speaker 10: reference to Okay.
- 15:39Speaker 12: Well, like I said, I'm a realator and I'm trying
- 15:42Speaker 12: to get ahead of some things that's going on, and
- 15:46Speaker 12: you're well, it's been brought to my attention that your
- 15:49Speaker 12: house is going to be is going into foreclosure and
- 15:52Speaker 12: it's going to be on the on the market in
- 15:54Speaker 12: the next two to three weeks. So I wanted to
- 15:57Speaker 12: make sure I was getting the right house, and I
- 15:59Speaker 12: wanted to make sure Dondam and you've got.
- 16:01Speaker 10: The wrong house. My house is not going to foreclosure.
- 16:04Speaker 10: I'm up to date. I'm good. So you got you
- 16:07Speaker 10: definitely got the wrong house.
- 16:09Speaker 12: Okay, hang on, So what's Dixie Road? And like you said,
- 16:14Speaker 12: thirty five hundred square feet, this is a two car garage.
- 16:18Speaker 10: Right, I don't know. I don't know what information you're getting.
- 16:20Speaker 10: But when it comes to my name in my crib
- 16:24Speaker 10: and what's going on with my bills and all that,
- 16:25Speaker 10: I'm up to date and I'm fine. So you got
- 16:28Speaker 10: the wrong information, you got the wrong the wrong person,
- 16:31Speaker 10: the wrong information on the right house, whatever it is.
- 16:34Speaker 10: But this is not My house is definitely not going
- 16:36Speaker 10: in the foreclosure on the top of my bills. Like
- 16:39Speaker 10: it's my woman, you get me. So I So my
- 16:41Speaker 10: whole thing is is I don't even know why you're calling.
- 16:44Speaker 10: My house is definitely not for sale. It's now now
- 16:47Speaker 10: on going to foreclosure. I'm not behind on my bills.
- 16:51Speaker 12: Well, sir, I'm telling you what my books say, and
- 16:53Speaker 12: this is our I'm looking at legitimate legal people.
- 16:56Speaker 10: Yeah, what I'm trying to tell you is this, I
- 16:58Speaker 10: don't care about your books. Read what I'm reading read
- 17:01Speaker 10: what I'm writing to you. I'm up to date on
- 17:04Speaker 10: my mortgage. You're just a realtor. So my whole thing is,
- 17:07Speaker 10: you're not nobody's selling my house.
- 17:09Speaker 3: My house is now okayd no, let's back, let's back up.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Let's go back to just the real. You're not gonna
- 17:13Speaker 1: talk to me like that. Now.
- 17:15Speaker 12: I'm a realtor and I'm a person. That's that's that's
- 17:17Speaker 12: on top of my game. Your house is going in
- 17:19Speaker 12: the foreclosure.
- 17:20Speaker 13: Now.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You can be in denial if you want to be.
- 17:22Speaker 12: But I'm just trying to get on top of everything
- 17:24Speaker 12: and get you know, try to sell the house.
- 17:26Speaker 1: As soon as it hits the market. So I know
- 17:28Speaker 1: what I'm not gonna You don't know the man.
- 17:31Speaker 10: Look, it's not going in the foreclosure, dude.
- 17:35Speaker 12: So so so if I'm looking at paperwork here, why
- 17:38Speaker 12: am I looking at paperwork that has your address on it?
- 17:40Speaker 1: Sir?
- 17:41Speaker 10: That that sounds like a personal problem, obvious. See you
- 17:43Speaker 10: now on top of your phone.
- 17:44Speaker 12: Well, you know the personal problem is gonna be yours
- 17:46Speaker 12: when they when they come put you out your house.
- 17:48Speaker 1: This says foreclosure. That's your address.
- 17:52Speaker 10: Yo. Look, I'm trying to tell you man, don't knock
- 17:54Speaker 10: on my door, don't call my don't call none of that.
- 17:57Speaker 10: Nobody's coming to my house, knocking on the door, trying
- 17:59Speaker 10: to put me at my house, and on top of that,
- 18:02Speaker 10: a foreclosing. It takes a long time.
- 18:05Speaker 12: Well, that's what I mean. This is this is, this is,
- 18:07Speaker 12: this has been in there a long time. It's coming

- 22:14Speaker 4: top of the hour and trending headline and entertainment news
- 22:17Speaker 4: fifty cent and TI are beefing, Oh I know, I'm
- 22:22Speaker 4: so sick of it, and an actor with Tourette syndrome
- 22:27Speaker 4: yelled out the N word at Michael B. Jordan and
- 22:30Speaker 4: Delroy Lindo your boy Tommy at the British Academy Film Awards.
- 22:35Speaker 8: We'll talk about that.
- 22:36Speaker 4: And Fantasia calls out her dad for accusing her husband
- 22:40Speaker 4: of stealing from her. We'll talk about all of these
- 22:42Speaker 4: stories at the top of the hour, but right now
- 22:45Speaker 4: it is time to ask the CLO our Chief Love Officer,
- 22:49Speaker 4: Steve Harvey.
- 22:51Speaker 8: This is from Chanelle and Riverside. Colo.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Chanell writes, my husband and I were at dinner and
- 22:58Speaker 4: three of the waitresses came by and spoke to him
- 23:00Speaker 4: by name.
- 23:01Speaker 14: He laughed and.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Talked with them.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Now, if I had done that, he would have lost
- 23:06Speaker 4: his mind. Why would he take me there knowing I
- 23:09Speaker 4: would be uncomfortable?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Well, he took you there because he was comfortable, Uh,
- 23:16Speaker 1: trying to be the man because everybody knew him up
- 23:18Speaker 1: in there? What now you know what it is?
- 23:21Speaker 5: You know what?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Sometimes? Man, you can't explain stupidity. I don't have an
- 23:27Speaker 1: I don't know what these dudes is doing now.
- 23:30Speaker 7: Man, y'all a different generation, clearly, and I don't want
- 23:36Speaker 7: to keep coming across as the old head that think
- 23:38Speaker 7: he know everything and our times was better because we
- 23:42Speaker 7: had some times that was better, and y'all got some
- 23:44Speaker 7: things that's better now too, So I don't want to
- 23:47Speaker 7: come across as that guy all the time. But y'all
- 23:50Speaker 7: just made different. It's the dudes do stuff that they
- 23:54Speaker 7: think they can get away with that's different. And it's
- 23:57Speaker 7: women that accept stuff that and allow men to give
- 24:01Speaker 7: away with it that they think that's different.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I don't know what it is.
- 24:05Speaker 7: I guess it's a mixture of both, but I think
- 24:07Speaker 7: it's a lot because these guys. So many guys didn't
- 24:11Speaker 7: have the right guidance when they were growing up. And
- 24:14Speaker 7: I'm not saying because they didn't have a father, because
- 24:17Speaker 7: you don't need a father in your life to have manners,
- 24:21Speaker 7: good sense, complying with the law, because now are single
- 24:25Speaker 7: mothers who have definitely raised their sons the right way
- 24:28Speaker 7: in that capacity. Yeah, so I'm look, I just want
- 24:32Speaker 7: to say I'm sorry, or to women out there who
- 24:35Speaker 7: are dealing with one of us and that we have
- 24:40Speaker 7: to be responsible for.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Well, that's why you have your mentoring camp so you
- 24:46Speaker 4: can teach young men, man how to be better men? Yeah,
- 24:50Speaker 4: and grow up to be good men.
- 24:52Speaker 7: So they don't know they supposed to walk on our
- 24:54Speaker 7: side of the sidewalk. Yeah, they don't know that. Down
- 24:58Speaker 7: know they're supposed to pull pull a girl's chair out.
- 25:01Speaker 1: They don't know that.
- 25:02Speaker 12: It's just it's miss mind boggling what they don't know
- 25:06Speaker 12: to me. So you actually need a man's mentoring program.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Grow man, Yeah, I heard.
- 25:11Speaker 4: You're right, Tommy, all right? Moving on to Cassine in
- 25:16Speaker 4: Queen's Cassine Rights. I found out that my wife got
- 25:20Speaker 4: the password to my phone from my son. He's sneaky
- 25:25Speaker 4: and watched me put it in. I fussed him and
- 25:28Speaker 4: my wife for snooping through my phone. Then I changed
- 25:31Speaker 4: my password. Do I owe her an explanation about this?
- 25:37Speaker 1: You owe her an explanation? I mean you changed it. Yeah,
- 25:43Speaker 1: the explanation is obvious. Uh huh. You don't want her
- 25:47Speaker 1: to have it?
- 25:49Speaker 7: You mad cause her and the boys snooping through your phone.
- 25:52Speaker 7: It's obviously some stuff they don't need to know. And
- 25:56Speaker 7: why you changed it is obvious because you want to
- 25:59Speaker 7: keep that privacy for whatever your reason?
- 26:04Speaker 1: What what you want? We whooping his behind were whooping his.
- 26:09Speaker 14: Behind, grounded for life. What's in the phone though?
- 26:18Speaker 7: Well, okay, but let's say it is something detrimental in
- 26:21Speaker 7: the form huh to my son. Now, you don't know
- 26:25Speaker 7: what you've done to your life, and it's sort of crazy.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Man.
- 26:31Speaker 7: You don't want to teach your children, your sons to
- 26:34Speaker 7: be deceitful, but you have to forewarn them of the
- 26:39Speaker 7: consequences of being careless. Yeah, and look and look. I
- 26:44Speaker 7: told my sons though raising them up. You can't tell
- 26:47Speaker 7: your mama everything. I'm just gonna tell you that right now.
- 26:50Speaker 7: If you want to really suffer, sit her down and
- 26:53Speaker 7: tell her everything.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I just can't.
- 27:00Speaker 7: Man, you're sixteen seventeen. You can't run in here talking
- 27:05Speaker 7: about everything. Come tell me what you're gonna tell me,
- 27:08Speaker 7: and then let's decide if we need to bring mama
- 27:10Speaker 7: into this, because you take take this in there here, mama,
- 27:14Speaker 7: this boy, this stay going to turn into something me.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Oh you can't handle run, yeah, man, just come in here, boy, hey, he.
- 27:25Speaker 5: All right.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Moving on to Risha and Saint Louis, Risha writes, I
- 27:30Speaker 4: am unfulfilled in my marriage. My man can't go the
- 27:34Speaker 4: distance with me in the bedroom. He is good for
- 27:37Speaker 4: four or five minutes and that's it. How many times
- 27:40Speaker 4: do I have to tell him that it's not enough?
- 27:43Speaker 4: Am I supposed to hurry up and finish before he does?
- 27:46Speaker 1: Well? With him? What that a hell? With him?
- 27:51Speaker 7: Get your I'll get this see and in the full
- 27:54Speaker 7: five miny times, because that's obviously that's all he working with.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Yeah, do I have to hurry up and get yes,
- 28:04Speaker 1: you be frustrated? Yeah, yeah, I want to hear the ore. Well,
- 28:15Speaker 1: here's what he has to do. He has to become
- 28:19Speaker 1: prolific at four play.
- 28:25Speaker 7: So it's so we and we and we need to
- 28:27Speaker 7: start the time when we get in when we get
- 28:29Speaker 7: into bed, and he needs to spend thirty minutes of
- 28:35Speaker 7: everything else for he come to start course. Yeah, for
- 28:40Speaker 7: the yeah, the main course. Yeah, about thirty minutes, because
- 28:46Speaker 7: I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you right now, I know
- 28:49Speaker 7: some things. Yeah, for thirty minutes, I'm gonna have you
- 28:52Speaker 7: in a full blown situation. Oh yes, oh yes, sir,
- 28:57Speaker 7: Oh yes sir. Yeah, well yeah, you might not even
- 29:01Speaker 7: need me after this.
- 29:03Speaker 4: So he has to condense, he has to put all
- 29:06Speaker 4: of what you're talking about into those four to five minutes.
- 29:08Speaker 1: That's what you're saying, though, No, surely you're not listening.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Nobody said that saved about this five Because I'm trying
- 29:17Speaker 1: to help this boy.
- 29:18Speaker 9: I heard.
- 29:20Speaker 7: What I'm saying is he needs to start working on
- 29:23Speaker 7: his four play. Uh huh, and turn that.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You gotta make four play an event.
- 29:29Speaker 7: Uh huh. You need a thirty minute You need to
- 29:32Speaker 7: look man, it's a lot of stuff you could do
- 29:34Speaker 7: in thirty minutes. Okay, then you bring in It's like
- 29:40Speaker 7: it's like doing comedy.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 29:43Speaker 1: He gotta walk out.
- 29:44Speaker 7: You gotta do the intro, you gotta do the premise.
- 29:49Speaker 7: You got to be set up. You gotta tell the joke,
- 29:53Speaker 7: then the punchline. Your punchline is five minutes. You don't
- 29:57Speaker 7: you need to give or tell jokes. You need to
- 30:00Speaker 7: be out there with said terms set up.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Uh huh in five minutes.
- 30:05Speaker 7: No, Shirley, all right, thirty minutes? What seat, Shirley, did
- 30:10Speaker 7: you write this? Lew I did not, because you keep
- 30:15Speaker 7: focusing on that five minutes. You're not listening.
- 30:17Speaker 1: But I will think a clock until thank you, thank you.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Sure think that it's going to be thirty five minutes.
- 30:25Speaker 4: He can't go that long, all right? Coming up at
- 30:28Speaker 4: the top of the hour Entertainment News right after this,
- 30:32Speaker 4: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. A public beef is
- 30:41Speaker 4: going on now between fifty cent and TI. It's ongoing,
- 30:45Speaker 4: actually partly due to disagreements over a potential versus battle.
- 30:50Speaker 4: T I expressed frustration, claiming fifty cent backed out. As
- 30:54Speaker 4: the dispute continues, fifty Cent posted a picture of tiny
- 30:57Speaker 4: t I's wife, which I deem unflattering. In response, t
- 31:02Speaker 4: I's son King has come to his mother's defense. One
- 31:05Speaker 4: of the posts reads, your mama is f word dead.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Uh And so now the beef continues.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, this ain't gonna be good.
- 31:14Speaker 9: Man, I'm talking about mama.
- 31:16Speaker 12: I don't like we didn't got mama's but yeah, I saw,
- 31:20Speaker 12: I didn't. I saw what t I said. T I
- 31:26Speaker 12: is telling you what happened and how to be started.
- 31:29Speaker 12: But he ain't got time for that. And that's what
- 31:32Speaker 12: t I said. But now you know, fifty do got time.
- 31:40Speaker 12: I'm just I've just never been that way. I'm not
- 31:44Speaker 12: I don't know, man, I just.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I don't t I son that's his mother, right, So
- 31:50Speaker 2: you can't post people's wives and mothers and think they're
- 31:54Speaker 2: not chilling to yeah, respond to that. I just I
- 31:58Speaker 2: don't know t I is below you know, he's a
- 32:01Speaker 2: family guy.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I don't think he'd have won. You really want to
- 32:05Speaker 1: do this with yeah, because he's a worse Yeah, I
- 32:09Speaker 1: just don't. I don't like this. First of all, ain't
- 32:12Speaker 1: it supposed to be an age limit? That's together too
- 32:16Speaker 1: old for this? Exactly?
- 32:18Speaker 7: Well, I didn't start it, so I'm not saying t
- 32:21Speaker 7: I too old for t I got every right to respond.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Can finish it. But you know what, what's fifty gonna do?
- 32:28Speaker 12: Though?
- 32:29Speaker 1: Yeah? Wife and children? Yeah, come on, just too ugly
- 32:34Speaker 1: and that just let it go, let it go. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:37Speaker 1: good luck with that. Yeah, good luck with that. Buddy.
- 32:44Speaker 1: He got a research department. He had a research department,
- 32:50Speaker 1: I know. Yeah, but he has a son, you know.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Come on, stop yeah, stop.
- 33:00Speaker 8: Fifty uh huh yeah.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Yes, yes, uh huh. All right, we're moving on and
- 33:06Speaker 1: other entertainment news.
- 33:08Speaker 4: You guys, hear about this this man there's a man
- 33:11Speaker 4: with Tourette syndrome, yelled out the in word.
- 33:15Speaker 8: While Michael B.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Jordan and Delroy Linda were presenters at the British Academy
- 33:20Speaker 4: Film Awards. His name is John Davidson, he was an
- 33:23Speaker 4: invited guest, and he has Tourette's. According to Newsweek, Davidson's
- 33:28Speaker 4: outburst drew attention throughout the evening. He said, shut the
- 33:32Speaker 4: F up and f you. His symptoms are among the
- 33:35Speaker 4: more visible and widely misunderstood manifestations of Tourette syndrome. Many
- 33:40Speaker 4: people on social media are calling bs On blaming the
- 33:43Speaker 4: outbursts on Turette syndrome, and they say Davidson probably uses
- 33:47Speaker 4: the in word all of the time, so he's just
- 33:49Speaker 4: sitting in the audience just yelling out the inward.
- 33:52Speaker 1: He can come to Atlanta to an AWAR show and
- 33:54Speaker 1: he can get cured.
- 33:58Speaker 4: Like that.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that was pretty bad though, when you you know
- 34:07Speaker 2: they're standing there, Michael Beach.
- 34:09Speaker 1: They look like deer in headlights. They did what would
- 34:15Speaker 1: you have done? Well, you know they was out of
- 34:19Speaker 1: the country.
- 34:21Speaker 7: So what does that mean if it were you got
- 34:23Speaker 7: you can't you can't do your natural response because your
- 34:27Speaker 7: lawyers ain't gonna be effective over there.
- 34:30Speaker 8: What do you mean your natural response would be.
- 34:33Speaker 7: Well, you can't snap and go off because you know
- 34:36Speaker 7: you can't get your legal people over there you in
- 34:38Speaker 7: another country, so you got to take.
- 34:39Speaker 4: What it is.
- 34:40Speaker 7: And then, you know, I think they handled it the
- 34:43Speaker 7: right way. Well, I mean, what else could they do.
- 34:45Speaker 7: I heard the tape over and over and over and over,
- 34:47Speaker 7: and I couldn't really make out what he said, even
- 34:50Speaker 7: though I know what he said. If I had heard it,
- 34:52Speaker 7: I wouldn't knew what it what it was. You just
- 34:55Speaker 7: don't expect that from that. Were just be giving out
- 34:58Speaker 7: a war. We ain't protested. Ain't nobody talking about Trump
- 35:01Speaker 7: or nothing. We're just up in here giving out an award.
- 35:04Speaker 1: So I don't care.
- 35:06Speaker 7: Okay, then there's that, But you know who, when we
- 35:10Speaker 7: get outside, though, uh, you need to get that to
- 35:14Speaker 7: retch under control.
- 35:16Speaker 8: But that's the thing about it, you can't.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we're talking to my state. Yeah, ok, Yeah, I'm
- 35:31Speaker 1: gonna walk over there and I'm I'm gonna help you.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Hey in word, Steve harm Oh cool? Perfect, my man.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Today Today is your healing. Today is your healing. Yeah?
- 35:47Speaker 1: That was pretty awkward and.
- 35:50Speaker 14: Pretty bad, all right.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Finally, in entertainment news, according to bossip dot Com, fantatious
- 35:58Speaker 4: husband Kendall Taylor reproposed to her on Valentine's Day. I
- 36:03Speaker 4: know if you guys saw that he walked up on
- 36:05Speaker 4: stage with a beautiful bouquet of roses and everything, well,

- 38:55Speaker 11: If I say, I say quake, man, I love seeing
- 38:58Speaker 11: I love it. Okay that this family business comedy.
- 39:02Speaker 12: Man, he just hemmy Bill Burr, it's just flatny.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Wow, he just flat out funny. You don't miss.
- 39:16Speaker 2: I thought that somebody would say Chappelle, Yeah, Chappelle Roger, Yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 2: it is the most probabific.
- 39:24Speaker 4: Okay, okay, but just funny because okay, all right, all right, okay,
- 39:33Speaker 4: what can you do? Here's another random question? What can
- 39:36Speaker 4: you do in under five minutes? In under five minutes
- 39:39Speaker 4: that will improve your life?
- 39:41Speaker 3: What can you do?
- 39:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 39:43Speaker 15: Perfect, That's all it takes is I'll be so productive,
- 39:55Speaker 15: may do too much, Bobby, go up?
- 40:01Speaker 1: What I see? What I see? Nothing see?
- 40:05Speaker 8: What can you do in under five minutes that will
- 40:07Speaker 8: make improve your life?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Anything we doing? Maybe don't miss that blood pressure medicine thought.
- 40:22Speaker 4: Maybe maybe the same, Maybe not com medication. All right,
- 40:28Speaker 4: here's another one. If you could bring anything from your
- 40:32Speaker 4: childhood back, what would it be?
- 40:34Speaker 1: Oh man, my first bike? Oh man, first.
- 40:40Speaker 9: Disc?
- 40:41Speaker 15: Man?
- 40:44Speaker 8: Come on anything. Yeah, pig Yeah, what was Peggy?
- 40:51Speaker 1: All right? We went to church to go What coming up?
- 40:56Speaker 14: At thirty four minutes after the hour?
- 40:59Speaker 7: Bran Bank Mob I Billy need to run long distances
- 41:02Speaker 7: without wall.
- 41:04Speaker 4: Mike Epps is tired of apologizing, and the question is
- 41:09Speaker 4: why can't comedians tell jokes anymore? We'll talk about that
- 41:12Speaker 4: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, So,
- 41:23Speaker 4: Mike Epps has expressed his frustration with constantly apologizing. In
- 41:28Speaker 4: a recent interview with Dion Cole on his podcast Funny
- 41:31Speaker 4: Knowing You, Mike Apps shared a story about helping a
- 41:34Speaker 4: homeless man and his family. Now I have to take
- 41:36Speaker 4: them to a hotel with five hundred dollars nightly rate.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Mike Epps told the family that the father needed to
- 41:42Speaker 4: do better. Mike Ebbs, it was a joke. Mike Ebbs
- 41:47Speaker 4: has posted on his Instagram page stating that he is
- 41:50Speaker 4: tired of apologizing for his jokes, and Dion Cole has
- 41:54Speaker 4: come to his defense and has backed them up. So
- 41:56Speaker 4: here's a question for you guys. You're all three comedians,
- 41:59Speaker 4: Stevemmy and Jr. Do you guys feel like comedians can't
- 42:03Speaker 4: tell jokes anymore out of fear of being canceled.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Here's this question once again for comedians.
- 42:10Speaker 12: It's a it's a line you walking. Mike just told
- 42:12Speaker 12: a good joke, and he made it sound so real,
- 42:15Speaker 12: made it sound so real. You brought into it.
- 42:18Speaker 1: It was good. Funny Yeah and funny. Yeah right. I
- 42:22Speaker 1: ain't doing nothing so to get approved.
- 42:28Speaker 8: Yeah, Junior, your takes like the audience.
- 42:32Speaker 9: You know, you got to consider the audience. And some
- 42:34Speaker 9: people's just sensitive.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Man.
- 42:36Speaker 9: It's just you can't say you like nothing no more.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 42:39Speaker 9: So you gotta make all your jokes pretty much about you. Say,
- 42:42Speaker 9: I ain't mad about me.
- 42:45Speaker 1: You can't cancel me open yeah for me?
- 42:49Speaker 9: No, okay, Steve.
- 42:52Speaker 7: The problem we have is is everybody has a platform,
- 42:56Speaker 7: and I don't care what you say on your platform.
- 42:59Speaker 1: You can get a lot of people to agree. I
- 43:03Speaker 1: don't care what you say.
- 43:06Speaker 7: So once the train starts down the hill that he
- 43:11Speaker 7: did wrong. He shouldn't have said nothing. Yep, he shouldn't
- 43:13Speaker 7: have said now uh huh. He sure shouldn't have said nothing.
- 43:16Speaker 7: And it gets bigger than it really is. I saw
- 43:19Speaker 7: what he said. He turned it into a joke. He
- 43:23Speaker 7: apologized once.
- 43:24Speaker 1: That should be it. Mike, gotta let this go because
- 43:27Speaker 1: you're not going to heal the masses.
- 43:32Speaker 7: They are permanently sick, and they are sick with commenting
- 43:38Speaker 7: and thinking that they relevant.
- 43:40Speaker 8: But for a joke? Should he even have apologized for
- 43:44Speaker 8: a joke?
- 43:45Speaker 10: Though?
- 43:45Speaker 7: I mean, well yeah, because well, well that one right there,
- 43:49Speaker 7: because people thought he really did take the family to
- 43:53Speaker 7: the hotel and then told him, hey, you gotta do better.
- 43:57Speaker 1: I can't pay for this.
- 44:01Speaker 7: So well, I understand him coming out straightening that party,
- 44:07Speaker 7: but after that, that's it.
- 44:09Speaker 1: But here's the problem, though, they don't let it go
- 44:13Speaker 1: because these.
- 44:14Speaker 7: Self righteous people who live in this world, who step
- 44:18Speaker 7: over homeless people all the time, don't put a quarter
- 44:23Speaker 7: in they cup. I ain't never rolled the window down
- 44:27Speaker 7: with that. I'm hungry with the kids on the corner.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Nothing. But soon as you say something, here they come.
- 44:35Speaker 7: And if everybody that commented was helping people out there,
- 44:39Speaker 7: we wouldn't have no people out there.
- 44:44Speaker 12: And Mike doing good stuff, man, Mike renovating and built
- 44:47Speaker 12: houses and his old.
- 44:50Speaker 7: Yo man brug skip these people and you cannot you
- 44:55Speaker 7: can't make them happy.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Man.
- 44:57Speaker 7: The public is a dis enfranchised body of people who
- 45:03Speaker 7: are constantly complaining about anything and everything. And but you know, man,
- 45:08Speaker 7: but like I said, I don't care what you post man,
- 45:13Speaker 7: A man take put Charlie Kirk on what he used
- 45:16Speaker 7: to say. Look at how many people agree with him.
- 45:19Speaker 7: Look at how many people agree with Fox. Look at
- 45:22Speaker 7: how many people agree with making Kelly. Look at how
- 45:25Speaker 7: many people look just man just post anything. Look at
- 45:30Speaker 7: how many people agree with Donald Trump. He can make
- 45:34Speaker 7: the most evil, sickening, non caring, non empathetic remark as
- 45:39Speaker 7: a president, and we support him.
- 45:43Speaker 1: They're supporting him. Joke him.
- 45:53Speaker 4: Yeah, there used to be a time because of all
- 45:55Speaker 4: of what you just listed, Steve, people would want to
- 45:58Speaker 4: last they would want to go see it comedian and
- 46:00Speaker 4: just laugh about it. But now you can't even do that,
- 46:03Speaker 4: it seems all right, so uh yeah, coming up at
- 46:07Speaker 4: uh coming up next, it is a nephew with the
- 46:09Speaker 4: prank phone call right after this, and.
- 46:11Speaker 1: I'm not apologizing from my prank.
- 46:14Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:24Speaker 4: four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today, and
- 46:27Speaker 4: the subject is I give her.
- 46:29Speaker 8: What she needs all right, remember that. We'll get into
- 46:32Speaker 8: that in just a few find out.
- 46:34Speaker 4: What it's all about, because right now the nephew is
- 46:37Speaker 4: here with today's prank phone call, nephew, what you got.
- 46:40Speaker 12: Certainly we got an issue, uh you know, family member
- 46:44Speaker 12: and died. And they didn't put the wrong name. They
- 46:46Speaker 12: didn't spell the name wrong and the date wrong on
- 46:49Speaker 12: the tombstone, and we just we just can't help.
- 46:52Speaker 1: They didn't spell the name wrong. How you spell rosette,
- 46:54Speaker 1: y'all to spere Rosette?
- 46:56Speaker 8: Uh huh, yes, yeah, we think yes, it was the Z.
- 47:02Speaker 12: And they wasn't supposed to, you know Z. So you
- 47:06Speaker 12: know what we can't do is just had this on
- 47:08Speaker 12: the tombstone wrong, y'all. We got to get this change
- 47:11Speaker 12: and the date, the.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Date is wrong. They spell fanatically. I guess Z T T.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I don't know how, but it's wrong, all right, it's
- 47:21Speaker 1: it's supposed to be R O S.
- 47:23Speaker 12: Anyway, we got to get Rosette tombstone straight.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Okay, so this right here is called tombstone.
- 47:30Speaker 12: Yes, but we're gonna we're gonna do this, and please,

- 47:36Speaker 12: like that? Well, who can tell Tommy well Thomas.

- 56:44Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew.
- 56:45Speaker 8: Subject.
- 56:45Speaker 4: I give her what she needs, Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 56:49Speaker 4: married to a woman that doesn't care what I do
- 56:51Speaker 4: in my spare time. She's reserved and keeps to herself.
- 56:56Speaker 4: She is not on any social media, and she only
- 56:59Speaker 4: hangs out with her parents. All I have to do
- 57:01Speaker 4: is take care of her basic needs, and she's fine.
- 57:05Speaker 4: Her father suspected that I was up to no good
- 57:07Speaker 4: last summer, and he drove my wife up to the
- 57:10Speaker 4: lounge I hang out at. They looked so goofy getting
- 57:14Speaker 4: out of the car and walking in as father and
- 57:16Speaker 4: daughter in a lounge. My wife was ashamed and quickly
- 57:19Speaker 4: said that her father made her come and told her
- 57:23Speaker 4: that I was hanging out with the woman at the lounge.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Because of that, me and her dad stopped speaking. I
- 57:29Speaker 4: ended up breaking up with my side chick after that
- 57:32Speaker 4: day because of her meddling daddy. Then again, in mid January,
- 57:37Speaker 4: I got busted driving a lady friend's car. I was
- 57:41Speaker 4: at the car wash, my father in law pulled up
- 57:43Speaker 4: on me and said I was busted, and he drove away.
- 57:46Speaker 4: I went by his house before I took the car back,
- 57:49Speaker 4: and I told him that as a man, he should
- 57:52Speaker 4: stay out of my business because I keep his daughter happy.
- 57:56Speaker 4: I told him that I give her what she needs,
- 57:59Speaker 4: and I give her what he needs, and he gives
- 58:03Speaker 4: her grief.
- 58:04Speaker 8: He asks.
- 58:05Speaker 4: He acts like his daughter is too good for me,
- 58:07Speaker 4: but I married her after she had a baby by
- 58:10Speaker 4: her pastor. I pleaded with him to stop following me
- 58:14Speaker 4: and stay out of my business. I want to get
- 58:16Speaker 4: my wife from under her parents' influence. Our marriage would
- 58:19Speaker 4: be so much better. I'm not cheating all the time,
- 58:23Speaker 4: but I do entertain ladies when I want to. If
- 58:26Speaker 4: I mess up, I'm never leaving my wife. What's the
- 58:29Speaker 4: big deal? Why would a man try to mess up
- 58:32Speaker 4: another man's union?
- 58:34Speaker 5: What?
- 58:35Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 58:37Speaker 4: I'm sure he would mind his business if your wife
- 58:40Speaker 4: didn't happen to be his daughter. Okay, this is not
- 58:44Speaker 4: just any man, sir. This is your wife's father. He's
- 58:47Speaker 4: not one of your boys. Your boys, yes, they would
- 58:50Speaker 4: mind their own business and not say anything. But you
- 58:53Speaker 4: are crazy to think that cheating is okay with your
- 58:56Speaker 4: wife and her family. I mean, somebody's going to say something.
- 59:00Speaker 4: It's not that he's in your business like that, but
- 59:02Speaker 4: as her dad, he's not going to just sit by
- 59:04Speaker 4: and let you cheat and embarrass his baby girl and
- 59:07Speaker 4: not say it or do anything. Now, is he doing
- 59:10Speaker 4: the most, Yes, he is doing the most, but it's
- 59:13Speaker 4: not going to happen that he's just gonna sit by.
- 59:16Speaker 4: Just think if you had a daughter, I'm sure you
- 59:18Speaker 4: would do the same thing that her father's doing, or worse.
- 59:21Speaker 14: I mean, what father wouldn't.
- 59:23Speaker 4: You don't get the right to do whatever just because
- 59:26Speaker 4: you take care of her basic needs. That's the very
- 59:29Speaker 4: least you can do. If she has a job, she
- 59:31Speaker 4: can probably do that herself, mister basic. And so what
- 59:35Speaker 4: you married her after she had the pastor's baby. That
- 59:38Speaker 4: was shade. That was shade that you said that. But
- 59:41Speaker 4: it still doesn't mean she should be so grateful to
- 59:43Speaker 4: you that you know she's going to give you a
- 59:46Speaker 4: pass to cheat. She doesn't owe you anything. She's gonna
- 59:50Speaker 4: look away when you're cheating. No, that's not how this goes.
- 59:54Speaker 4: What you're doing is disrespectful, and her silence doesn't mean
- 59:57Speaker 4: she's cool with it.
- 59:59Speaker 7: Steve, This dude in this letter, man, it's just delusional,
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: completely one thousand percent delusional. And every argument that he
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: creates in this letter is to support his narrative. And
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: that's crazy, man. I mean, bruh, you just all through
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: the letter you're married to a woman that doesn't care
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: what I do in my spare time.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: What, Bro, that's not true. You're not married to a
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: person that don't care what you do in your spare time.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: So that's a lie.
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: She's reserved, keep you herself. She ain't on social media,
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: She only hang out with her parents. All I gotta
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: do is take care of her basic needs, and she's
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: fine as she ever told you that dog. Nope, that's
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: another story that you created, another narrative that you put
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: out to support what you're doing. Her father suspected you
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: was up to no good last summer, and he drove
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: your wife up to the lounge where I hang out at.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: They look so goofy getting out the car and walking
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: in as father and daughter in a lounge, Bro, that's
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: what you drew from that.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: When they got out the car, they look goofy. Right.
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: Another another scenario to support your narrative. They look goofy
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: getting out the car as father and daughter in a lounge.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: My wife was ashamed and quickly said her father made
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: her come and told her I was hanging out with
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: the woman at the lounge. So you're saying that your
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: wife quickly apologized because her father made her come up
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: there and see it, which further supports your narrative that
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: she don't care what you do in your spare time.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: But bruh, she at the lounge with her dad.
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: I ended up breaking up with my side chick after
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: that day cause her Medland daddy.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Oh so that's the coldest lining in here. So you
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: was cheating, But.
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: You ended up breaking up with your side chick cause
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: a hundred Midland daddy. What so broh again, everything and
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: the way you tell it is support your narrative that
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: your wife don't care and that you take care of
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: her basic needs.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: But it ain't stopped there.
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: Then again, in mid January, I got busted driving a
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: lady friend's car used at the car wash. My father
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: in law pulled up on me and said, busted and
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: drove off hy all up here at.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: This car washed. When we come back, man, we'll finished
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: this ridiculous letter.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, hang on, we'll have part two of
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: your response coming up, Steve at twenty three minutes after
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: the hour.
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: Today's strawberry letter, subject I give her.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: What she needs.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Life is unpredictable, but
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: protecting your family doesn't have to be complicated. Globe Life
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: helps family secure their future with simple, affordable life insurance.
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: There's no medical exam, just a simple application with rates
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: starting as low as three dollars and forty nine cents
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: a month.
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: Globe Life insurance is easy to buy. Called Globe Life
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: Today at one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: Or visit globelifradio dot com. That's one eight hundred two
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com. All right,
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: is I give her what she needs.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the dude, that's all. He's ridiculous. He's delusional.
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: He's married to this woman who he thinks stays to herself,
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: and she doesn't care what he does. In his spare time.
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: She's not on social media anything. So one day her daddy,
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: who suspected he was up to no good, put her
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: in the car and drove her up to a lounge
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: where he was at. And then to support the fact
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: that to prove to you that she don't want to
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: be there, they look so goofy getting out the car
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: at the lounge to check on me. That look goofy,
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: a father and a daughter coming to the lounge. And
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: she ain't even want to be in there, because first
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: thing she said was I'm ashamed to be in here.
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: He made me come and I'm sitting up in here. Man,
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: that was so crazy he trying to do that. My
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: wife don't even care about that. And then so then
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: right after that I had to I had me and mott,
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: me and her daddy stop speaking. That's first I'm gonna
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: quit talking to him bringing his daughter up here. And
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: then I ended up breaking up with my say, man,
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: and this is what I'm curious about. When y'all type
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: these letters into the show. When you get through typing it, do.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: You read it? Then again?
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: In me and January, I got busted driving a lady
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: friend's car. I was at the car wash, my father
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: in law gonna pull up on me and said I
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: was busted, And then he drove away.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Man, who do that? I'm at the car wash? You
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: gonna roll up on me?
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: And so before I went home, I went by his
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: house before I took the car back, and I told him,
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: as a man, he should stay out of my business
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: because I keep his daughter happy.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Hey, man, you did you? You don't?
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: You don't know that this is her daddy you're talking to.
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: How does that escaping you? First of all, they look
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: so goofy getting out the car coming up to the Loune.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: It's her daddy. He rolled up on you at the
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: car washing. That's her daddy.
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: Then you go by his house for you took your
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: lady Frida's car back and told him, as a man,
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: you are to stay out of my business because I
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: keep his daughter happy.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: That's her daddy. Noog, you lucky.
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: You ain't getting rolled man. I'm telling you lucky something.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: I told him that I give her what she needs
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: and he gives her grief. He acts like his daughter.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Too good for me?
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: Pointman, Humlabro, Where in this letter have you stated anything
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: that dictates that you deserve a good woman. See it's
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: amazing how people when they craft their story that is
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: so leaning to fit their narrative.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: He acts like his daughter.
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: Too good for me, bru, What have you done besides
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: claim to take care of her basic needs?
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Basic? That ain't how you got her? All? Right, here
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: we go.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: He acts like his daughter. Hoo, but I married her
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: after she had a baby by her pastor. Okay, and
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: you want what for that?
- 1:07:33Speaker 10: You want?
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Girl, Scott? Cookies? You want to flag, you want to
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: parade day? What you want? You want a toast to
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: the food?
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: What?
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Just tell me what you want?
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: Bro?
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: It don't matter who she had the baby. But that's
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: a lot of women get married, got babies already. What
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: what where that comes from? But you just tried to
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: throw that out to justify how how good hood of
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: a man you are because I married this woman had
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: this baby by her pastor.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: What did it do it make? Who the baby by? Dog?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I pleaded with him to stop following me and stay
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: out of my beds. Oh, now you beg I want
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: to get my wife from under her parents influence.
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: And into what yours, because dog, you trifling. Our marriage
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: would be so much better I'm not cheating up here
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: we go. I'm not cheating all the time. Dogg, did
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: you read any of this letter? But I do entertain
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: ladies when I want to. If I mess up, I'm
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: never leaving my wife. What's the big deal. I'm cheating
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: on and I ain't gonna leave her. Why would a
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: man try to mess up another man's union. First of all,
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: the father thinks that her daughter can do better and
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: deserves better. Secondly, most fathers are protective of their daughter. Thirdly,
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: you are a lucky man. You ain't missing somewhere. And
- 1:09:31Speaker 7: the audacity of you to drive over this man's house
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: to tell him to stay out your business of messing
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: up his daughter's life, and then through this whole letter
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: to think that you are some hero type guy that
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: you deserve a good woman, that you should be left alone.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: You can't even cheat in peace.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Bye.

- 1:11:05Speaker 9: Uh, you know, I thought Pat Rider already had a statue.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: That's what I thought.

- 1:11:28Speaker 7: Because ain't nobody in there believe I was gonna be nothing.
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: That's crazy, man, Lebron James got forty three thousand points.

- 1:11:46Speaker 11: Is this ever gonna change the debate about how many
- 1:11:50Speaker 11: points he gonna keeps going? If he just keep playing,
- 1:11:52Speaker 11: it's still not gonna change the whole conversation between him

- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Forty talking about who's the greatest basketball player.
- 1:12:00Speaker 17: Yeah, it's not gonna change that. You got fourty three
- 1:12:02Speaker 17: thousands a lot of points. Look, man, he's breaking all
- 1:12:07Speaker 17: the records. And if you listen to Isaiah Thomas, that's
- 1:12:10Speaker 17: why you should give it to him.
- 1:12:12Speaker 9: Give it to who.
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: I mean, I mean, Lebron, that's the greatest player off
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: all the time because all the records he has.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Oh but you know that goes way back. Yeah that's
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: not Isaiah. Ain't never liked Jordan's so you know what,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: he's everything he says, got little and I love Isaiah.
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: Man, we talk all the time. I ain't never bought
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: that up because I mean, he's gonna end up swinging.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: I ain't never bought that up. Yeah, yeah, oh yeah,
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: we're gonna end up swinging about this one. So ain't
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: no need of me bringing that up because.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: You know say that, but you know I don't. You know,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: he got all the points. That's great. But I mean, look,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I've seen them both.
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: I was alive to saw each career beginning, and god
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: will and not be alive to see Lebron's career when
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: it's over.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I've seen the whole career of both of them.
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: And I saw the greatest basketball player who is Michael Jordan.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I saw him. I saw it.
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: I saw him with my own eyes. I've seen Lebron
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: with my own eyes. I would have seen all the tapes.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: So Okay, some people make the difference. Okay, they ain't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: see it. They ain't seen it.
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: All you ass basketball players who played against both, and
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: overwhelmingly they leaned towards Jordan.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: What just talk to the men that played the game,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: that played against both of them.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: Coming up at the top of the hour, a woman
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: on social media needs some advice. She says, why don't
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: I like his family? We'll talk about it.
- 1:13:57Speaker 14: Right after this.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: None of them got nothing, no muggsy both. I'll tell
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: you that. Right now.
- 1:14:01Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning show.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: This is from CC on Steve Harvey FM CEC says,
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: I'm in a great relationship and I love my boyfriend,
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: but I can't seem to warm up to his family,
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: and I feel awful about it. They haven't done anything wrong,
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: they just irritate me in ways I can't explain. What
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: really throws me is how close they all are, constant
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: affection and family first energy that I didn't grow up with.
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: And I sometimes wonder if I'm just feeling jealous or
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: out of place. I don't want this to turn into
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: resentment or cause problems in my relationship. But I also
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: can ignore how uncomfortable I feel. Why would I be
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: bothered by people who haven't actually done anything to me?
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: And how do I get past it?
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Because you're the problem. Yeah, you're a hater, but they
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: are so close, lo affectionate towards one another.
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: And and and you said yourself, you can't even explain
- 1:15:07Speaker 7: why you just hating because of.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Something internal in you. If she didn't grow to it. Yeah, dang,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: what you do now you're looking at it and you
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: you can't get along with them?
- 1:15:22Speaker 8: Constant affection and family first energy is what bothers you.
- 1:15:28Speaker 7: Yeah, you that little monkey that's online right now, that
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: all the monkeys don't like punch.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I've never been more concerned about a monkey in
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: my life.
- 1:15:49Speaker 14: The whole world is fascinating.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: It was on the news.
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: Everything all right, we have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: This is from chie on Steve Harvey f M. I'm
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: in my early thirties and I'm already completely burnt out.
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: At first, I thought it was just my company, but
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: the more I sit with it, the more I think
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: it's the entire field I'm in. The constant pressure to
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: be quote on and to produce more, earn more, achieve more,
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: and it feels endless. I'm not in a total crisis,
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: but I can feel myself slipping into an unhealthy headspace,
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: and I.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Don't want to ignore it.
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: I'm craving some kind of reset, maybe a solo weekend away,
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: or even just a way to unplug and breathe.
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: Are you listening, Okay?
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: What's going on? Darkness?
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: I heard it.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I already got my answer.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: She just wants to know how does she reset when
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: the problem feels bigger than one bad week.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: You in the wrong job, You've made a bad career choice.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: You're not happy. So what you want me to do
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: help her? Why don't you get another job?
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: Well, maybe she's not that simple.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it is that simple. See that was wrong
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: with y'all. Y'all here, y'all go. Maybe she needs therapy.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Maybe she need a new job. Him need some therapy.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: She don't need no therapy. She need a new job.
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: She says.
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: She can feel herself slipping into an unhealthy headspace.
- 1:17:27Speaker 10: Job.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: That ain't therapy, that's a new job. Unhealthy heads All
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: jobs y'all make me sick.
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: Hey, listen to me, don't but boy, let me ask you.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Let me say this, Steve, boy, Uh, yeah, what I said,
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: he said. But listen, Steve, Yeah, I didn't say that.
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: You're just ready.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Here.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: You're a little instigator, that's what you are. Go ahead
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: or just a little okay, she says. To produce what
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: she says the COSI so, but you heard everything else.
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: The constant pressure to be on, to produce more, and
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: to earn more, achieve more. It feels endless. Isn't that
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: how jobs are these days? Wherever she goes, even she
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: does get a new.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Job, you need you need a job down at the beach.
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: The life guard now you need to go down to
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: Key Wesson, be a waitress at one of them lodges,
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: you know, make margaritas and all this here.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: You you don't want no pressure. You're in the wrong job.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: I had a job like that. Lincoln Electric got quit.
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: Okay, we'll have more of this.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: That calls all of that.
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: A baby monkey at a zoo in Japan named Punch
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: has become an internet sensation.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I know you guys have all seen this.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: He's captivated the hearts of millions globally through a viral
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: video on social media. Now after he faced rejection from
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: his mother and being dragged and bullied by another adult monkey,
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: viewers saw Punch, the little monkey turned to his stuffed
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: orange orangutang toy for comfort. Officials at Ichikawa City Zoo
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: in Japan characterized the incident as a standard disciplin disciplinary
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: interaction during troop integration, noting that Punch must develop resilience
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: and ultimately find his place within the group.
- 1:19:42Speaker 8: So they're contoning this. The public's fascination with Pump.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: This cousin. They never happened to them.
- 1:19:48Speaker 14: Yeah, they haven't been bullied and all that before Uh.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Punch looks over there on straight struggle and you got
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: some the zoo keeper.
- 1:19:58Speaker 7: You're not in here with these monkeys, right, dragging me
- 1:20:02Speaker 7: and pushing me astuff.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Yes, I gotta sleep over here in the corner. What
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: a you're not in here with me?
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: He looks so sad too. If you're not gonna tell
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: me how to cope with this.
- 1:20:14Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah you'll beesel soon, trust you'll bel.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: The public's fascination with Punch is thought to stem from
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: his relatable struggles with bullying and loneliness.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Like you said, Steve, all right, yeah coming out, you
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: got a homie now, don't just won't y'all know that

- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I'm going hunting. Where will you hunt? Got that squirrel today? Squirrel?
- 1:22:43Speaker 7: Rabbit, deer, elk. I count in a hobby you need.
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: They ain't even hard to hunt. They're just standing right there. Cows, No,
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: they raised him to kill him. But if I got
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: the hunt, it's a ranch next to me.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: They got dairy farm. I kill a cat, dragged him
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: through the fist.
- 1:23:07Speaker 8: Are you.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Kill a cow?
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: Hunt at?
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: All I got to do is wait till they get
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: dark outside.
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: I mean, if my neighbor just asked me could come
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: over there and trap the bob cat on my property,
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: because he said, you got a lot of them, mister Harvey,
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: and I have animals over here and they just wreaking
- 1:23:30Speaker 7: mayhem and they coming from your side.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I said, yeah, come on over here and trap them. Dog.
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: So a bobcat for a cow.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: You know they're gonna they're gonna kill it. A bob
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: cat to kill a calf, yeah, quickly to eat yea quickly, chickens, goats,

- 1:24:36Speaker 4: Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: Life is unpredictable, but protecting your family doesn't have to
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: be complicated. Globe Life helps family secure their future with simple,
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: affordable life insurance. There's no medical exam, just a simple

- 1:25:11Speaker 4: That's one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: or Globelife radio dot com. All right, guys, here we
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: are last break of the day and it is time
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: for you, Steve, to take a seat.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: We're to talk about racism.
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: And you know, man, because I was giving it a
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: little bit of thought this week and I was by
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: myself and I was thinking about the existence of it. Now, listen,
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: I'm not going to say something so profound that explains
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: racism or where it stems from and all like that.
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: I just want to have a couple of thoughts I
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: wanted to share with y'all. You know, there are some
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: black people in this world.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Who I just think.
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: A not good representatives of who we are as a people.
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: And we all know some we all know some where
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: we wish they would just go sit down somewhere and
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: quit having a voice that they have, you know, making
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: us feel that kind of way feel bad. I've been
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: watching a lot online and now a lot of whites
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: who feel the same way about a lot of some
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: whites that's out there. There are white people constantly online
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: talking about the racist white people that they know, and
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: they're not understanding why they won't admit to the truth.
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: And I'm saying all this because I want you to
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: understand that there are just some bad people on all sides.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: Of the coin.
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: There are some bad black people, some bad white people,
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: some bad Latinos, some bad Asians, some bad Christians, some
- 1:26:56Speaker 7: bad Jewish people, some bad muslim some whatever, it's just
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: some bad ones. And what I found is that these
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: bad ones, when they are giving a voice and a platform,
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: they bring out the other bad ones so they have
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: a place where they can band together. And racism is
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: such a waste of energy.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: So I know for a fact.
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: That I know a lot of white who are really, really,
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: really good people, and I know a lot of them,
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: But I know a whole lot of black people. That's
- 1:27:42Speaker 7: just some incredibly wonderful people. But I know some bad
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: ones too, And sadly, I've met enough of the bad
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: white ones, which is what keeps me on my toes
- 1:27:56Speaker 7: all the time, because sometimes race in this country rears
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: his head at the most unexpected time. And we are
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: living in a time right now where racism at the
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: forefront is at an all time high. It's at an
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: all time high, this after the Emancipation Proclamation, this after
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: the so called freeing of slaves. It has never been
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: more prevalent than it is today. And it has a voice,
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: it's got a following, it's got streaming devices. I mean, man,
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: they can organize. Did you see happen on January sixth?
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: Did you see what happened there that was organized bigotry
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: and hatred at the highest level. And I know it's
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: at the highest level because when this man became president,
- 1:28:59Speaker 7: he pardoned all all of them, which made him keep
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: one campaign promise. On that day he said, if you
- 1:29:05Speaker 7: go down there, I will send my lawyers for you,
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: and that's exactly what he did, and he gave an
- 1:29:16Speaker 7: executive pardon to all these people. But I don't think
- 1:29:19Speaker 7: people understand what racism causes and does. And you know what,
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: let me just help you racist people out for just
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: one second here, not that you're going to listen, and
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: not that you care, because I know you don't. And
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: that's what keeps us so alive and well in this
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: country because of your bigoted ignorance, because of your unwillingness
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: to understand just for a moment, that the Civil Rights
- 1:29:46Speaker 7: Bill was not for us to get more. The Civil
- 1:29:50Speaker 7: Rights Bill was simply all we wanted to do was
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: to be treated civil. We just wanted to be treated
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: civil like people like your constitutions. Stop getting mad at
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: black people when they don't stand for the Star Spangled
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: banner when they know full well you're not singing about them.
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: Don't ask me to put my hand on my heart.
- 1:30:12Speaker 7: Do you know the reasons that I do stand for
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: the national anthem? For the people who put them uniforms on,
- 1:30:19Speaker 7: who left home and didn't come back. That's really it, man.
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: Because of the soldiers and the military people out here
- 1:30:29Speaker 7: that had to choose this route as a way to
- 1:30:32Speaker 7: earn a living. That's really it, man. And you know what,
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: I get sick of people go, I don't know why
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: you're complaining?
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: You rich? What? Man? Let me explain something to you.
- 1:30:47Speaker 7: I'm in this fight for us because I know, good
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: and well, if my black was not who I was
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: and didn't have the ability to do what I do,
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: I know good and hell well, wouldn't be rich. I
- 1:31:01Speaker 7: know good in hell well, you wouldn't give me nothing
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: you done gave me. And just as a reminder, the
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: things I do have that you think you gave me,
- 1:31:13Speaker 7: I had to do ten times more than my counterparts
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: just to get a piece of what they got. So racism, man,
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: is ugly on so many levels, and I ain't scratched
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: the surface of it today.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: I just wanted to tell y'all something. What we really
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: want is just to be treated fairly. That's all. We
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: don't want more.
- 1:31:36Speaker 7: If I had the time to tell you what affirmative
- 1:31:39Speaker 7: action was really for you go somewhere and sit down,
- 1:31:42Speaker 7: but you're not because you don't care. You don't listen,
- 1:31:45Speaker 7: So keep on being racist. If we're gonna keep fighting
- 1:31:48Speaker 7: and we're gonna keep winning, and you're not gonna stop.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: Us no matter what you do.
