- 0:12Speaker 2: Don't given them back a.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Million bus bussy.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Steve Ya listening to.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Don't Joy, Yeah Joy?
- 0:53Speaker 4: Have you got you gotta turn?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Got to turn the mouth turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn the mouth turn the water of the Monica. Look
- 1:50Speaker 1: me come come out, you think, huh? I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Why Because God, God is in the
- 2:15Speaker 1: blessing business. If you go get in line, he has
- 2:19Speaker 1: something for you. God is amazing.
- 2:23Speaker 5: The plan he actually has for you is so far
- 2:27Speaker 5: greater than you can possibly imagine.
- 2:30Speaker 1: It's really mind blowing.
- 2:32Speaker 5: And as I look back on where He's brought me
- 2:36Speaker 5: from and what he's currently doing for me, all I
- 2:41Speaker 5: can do is tell you is God. That's all I
- 2:43Speaker 5: can tell you, Because I tell you right now, I
- 2:45Speaker 5: didn't foresee it.
- 2:47Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 5: It oftentimes amazes me when I listen to celebrities when
- 2:51Speaker 5: they interview how they say, you know, I always always
- 2:54Speaker 5: thought that this would happen for me, and I just
- 2:57Speaker 5: you know, it could be true.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But for me, it is not that way at all.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I didn't imagine it this way.
- 3:07Speaker 5: I had a dream of becoming famous one day, but
- 3:12Speaker 5: I had no idea it would ever get to this.
- 3:18Speaker 5: It was a very very simple desire for fame. There
- 3:22Speaker 5: is no way I could have seen all this. There
- 3:24Speaker 5: is no way I am telling you this is. This
- 3:29Speaker 5: has been nothing for me but the grace of God,
- 3:33Speaker 5: and all the times I failed, every time I had fallen,
- 3:38Speaker 5: he picked me up, he dusted me off, and he
- 3:42Speaker 5: kept me moving. It has been an amazing thing to
- 3:47Speaker 5: watch God do what he do. As I look back
- 3:50Speaker 5: on my history and you sometimes look back on your history,
- 3:53Speaker 5: you've got to see, man, Wow, what God has done
- 3:57Speaker 5: for you and what He's brought you through to enable
- 3:59Speaker 5: you to be you are. It is amazing because really,
- 4:04Speaker 5: I mean really real talk. Now, had he allowed all
- 4:07Speaker 5: of the decisions I had made to play all the
- 4:10Speaker 5: way out, I could assure you.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here today.
- 4:14Speaker 5: But God, through this grace and mercy, who had a
- 4:17Speaker 5: plan for me, who was just waiting on me to
- 4:20Speaker 5: come get in line, and then he was gonna start emptying.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Now he was gonna start shipping out all the boxes
- 4:27Speaker 5: in heaven with my name on it. And man, what
- 4:30Speaker 5: a great god he is, What a great god he is.
- 4:33Speaker 5: And you have boxes of blessings with your name on
- 4:38Speaker 5: it that he is waiting to ship. But he needs
- 4:42Speaker 5: you to go down there and get in line.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 4:46Speaker 5: It is not that he has more boxes for other
- 4:49Speaker 5: people than he do you. He got boxes with your
- 4:51Speaker 5: name on it who have never been shipped because.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You will not get in line to go get them.
- 4:57Speaker 5: You will not ask God for him, you will not
- 5:00Speaker 5: do the things necessary to attain them. We stop our
- 5:03Speaker 5: own blessings. Man, I have been the biggest stopper of
- 5:06Speaker 5: my blessings than anybody else.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I can't really get mad at nobody. I got nobody
- 5:12Speaker 1: to blame for my existence but me. But then at
- 5:15Speaker 1: the same time, I can't take credit for this. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: really really can't. I kid you not.
- 5:21Speaker 5: I cannot take credit for it. And if you ever
- 5:24Speaker 5: see me taking credit for it, tap me on the shoulder,
- 5:27Speaker 5: say Steve, pull up. Remember you said this ain't about you.
- 5:31Speaker 5: If you catch me taking too much credit, you have
- 5:35Speaker 5: my permission to stop me. Now Here is the deal, though,
- 5:40Speaker 5: and this is what I want to get through to
- 5:42Speaker 5: you today, moving forward while under attack, new level, new devil.
- 5:52Speaker 5: You know, every time you go somewhere, every time you
- 5:55Speaker 5: try to progress, every time you make a decision to
- 5:57Speaker 5: be better, to do better, that's going to be a
- 6:00Speaker 5: confrontation you're going to have because it is the enemy's
- 6:03Speaker 5: job to not see you go forward, do better, want more,
- 6:08Speaker 5: behave yourself. There is a force that is operative out
- 6:12Speaker 5: there that has people working on his behalf twenty four
- 6:16Speaker 5: to seven. You got a computer, go read a blog.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Just go read a blog. They busy man not knowing,
- 6:24Speaker 5: but just saying evil stuff constantly.
- 6:28Speaker 1: That's the job. Well, here's what happens.
- 6:33Speaker 6: I you.
- 6:34Speaker 5: We have to always keep moving forward while we're under
- 6:40Speaker 5: attack because the attack is going to always come. If
- 6:47Speaker 5: you allow the attackers to stop you, you will lose
- 6:51Speaker 5: that particular battle. And you cannot afford this.
- 6:55Speaker 7: You know.
- 6:55Speaker 5: My father used to say, be careful when you're trying
- 6:59Speaker 5: to kick some off the ladder, because you got to
- 7:02Speaker 5: take your foot off too, and you might slip. And
- 7:06Speaker 5: so when people are taking their feet off the ladder,
- 7:08Speaker 5: most some of them, most the majority of them mayn't
- 7:10Speaker 5: even up own a ladder. They just at the bottom
- 7:13Speaker 5: throwing stuff up at you. They are just shaking your ladder.
- 7:17Speaker 5: They ain't even they ain't even on your level. Really
- 7:19Speaker 5: tell you the truth, they really not. You have moved
- 7:22Speaker 5: on far beyond them, spiritually, physically, everything, but they are
- 7:27Speaker 5: still shaking your ladder and attacking you. Keep moving forward
- 7:31Speaker 5: while under attack, because the attacks are going to come.
- 7:34Speaker 5: If you take the time to stop and address it,
- 7:37Speaker 5: you are impeding your own progress.
- 7:41Speaker 1: This is very important to understand.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Go on bout your business and remember Steve Harvey and
- 7:47Speaker 5: remember those of you out there.
- 7:49Speaker 1: There is a Bible verse that helps me out every time.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And I don't know why. I got it on six
- 7:55Speaker 1: different plaques sitting all around my offices. Everywhere I go,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I can read it Isaiah fifty four seventeen.
- 8:01Speaker 5: No weapon formed against me shall prosper that because this
- 8:05Speaker 5: is that he will put me under his wings of protection.
- 8:08Speaker 5: And this is my inheritance as a servant of the
- 8:15Speaker 5: Lord period. I'm his boy, he my man, so so
- 8:19Speaker 5: dig so when you're coming for me, I have to
- 8:23Speaker 5: just rest on that Lord right there, that he got
- 8:26Speaker 5: it that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I'm
- 8:30Speaker 5: just like you sometimes, you know, we know better, but
- 8:32Speaker 5: sometimes we don't do better. Man, Let them say what
- 8:35Speaker 5: they gonna say. When they get through saying it, when
- 8:38Speaker 5: they get through writing it, when they get through talking
- 8:40Speaker 5: about you, when they get through lying about you. Guess
- 8:43Speaker 5: what they're gonna have to do. They're gonna have to
- 8:45Speaker 5: step back and watch your rise. They gonna have to
- 8:48Speaker 5: kick back and watch what God got for you, because
- 8:51Speaker 5: nothing God got for you. Can't nobody stop it. I
- 8:53Speaker 5: don't care what they do. Keep moving forward while under attack. Yo,
- 9:00Speaker 5: something I tell you some man, Minister Lewis Fahirkhn taught
- 9:05Speaker 5: me something very important one day.
- 9:07Speaker 1: He said, Steve, remember this. He said.
- 9:09Speaker 5: It is a common thing for a dog to bark
- 9:14Speaker 5: up at the moon. But if the moon barks back
- 9:18Speaker 5: at the dog, the dog becomes famous.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You feel me, the moon was talking to you.
- 9:25Speaker 4: What did you?
- 9:26Speaker 1: How did the moon stop and talk to you? Don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: give them that.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Let the dog bark up at the moon. Don't you
- 9:32Speaker 5: be up there? You go where God got you going.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Don't bark back at this dog because the dog come famous,
- 9:37Speaker 5: because they ain't gonna be able to get to you.
- 9:39Speaker 5: But the dog is famous now. They want to interview
- 9:40Speaker 5: the dog now the dog. Guess what he gonna do?
- 9:43Speaker 5: More barking? Guess what about you?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Man? Go on about your biersin as y'all. God is
- 9:48Speaker 1: in the blessing business all day long.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Man, go get in line, get you some get them
- 9:53Speaker 5: packages and boxes shipped to you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: They got your name on it.

- 10:27Speaker 5: don't love you, because I do. I just ain't got
- 10:30Speaker 5: the time to go down through all of them, so
- 10:32Speaker 5: I just picked the select few today.

- 11:05Speaker 5: who is stupid? I am ignorant, differ I bowed down.
- 11:11Speaker 5: I bowed down to his stupidity. It is supreme and

- 11:34Speaker 2: It's supreme, It's outstanding.
- 11:37Speaker 1: But asking Tommy, is it supreme? Yes? Yes, is superpolation.

- 11:50Speaker 1: explain the differencetween your ignance and his stupidity. We just

- 12:07Speaker 5: Yeah, to the wall I'm talking about. I know exactly
- 12:10Speaker 5: what it is. I know I know exactly how I am.
- 12:13Speaker 5: I pick and choose the places I'm gonna be ignorant. Okay, Tomic,
- 12:21Speaker 5: it's just out there. Yeah, it's loose. Think of everything

- 18:19Speaker 4: To his new honer. When you get here, it's gonna

- 18:28Speaker 6: You know what, man, if you was to be able
- 18:30Speaker 6: to provide for your family, wouldn't nobody be trying to
- 18:32Speaker 6: adopt your child? The problem is is that you can't

- 37:24Speaker 7: Well.
- 37:24Speaker 9: Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is under fire for calling Texas Governor
- 37:28Speaker 9: Greg Abbot hot wheels during an appearance at an event
- 37:32Speaker 9: this past weekend. Take a listen to Crockett's remarks about Abbot.
- 37:36Speaker 10: Y'all know we got governor high wheels down there.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Come on now, so yes, yes, yes, yes, wow wow
- 37:44Speaker 1: wow wow. She said that I love it.
- 37:49Speaker 9: Representative Crockett has responded to the backlash with a statement
- 37:53Speaker 9: on x She said, I was thinking about the governor's condition.
- 37:56Speaker 9: I wasn't thinking about the governor's condition. I was thinking
- 38:00Speaker 9: about planes, trains, and automobiles. He used to transfer migrants
- 38:04Speaker 9: into communities led by black mayors, deliberately stroking tension and
- 38:09Speaker 9: fear among the most vulnerable. She went on to say, literally,
- 38:13Speaker 9: the next line I said was that he was a
- 38:16Speaker 9: hot a mess referencing his terrible policies. No point did
- 38:21Speaker 9: I mention or allude to his condition. So I'm even
- 38:24Speaker 9: more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support Trump,
- 38:31Speaker 9: a man known for racially incentive nicknames, insensitive nicknames, and
- 38:35Speaker 9: mocking those with disabilities, are now outraged equivocally.
- 38:41Speaker 1: That's you know, it's amazing, man, when something is directed
- 38:44Speaker 1: at them, it's appalling. When they do it, it's acceptable.
- 38:49Speaker 1: It's just hypocrisy. Man. If you just look at the
- 38:53Speaker 1: stuff that they have said out of their mouths the bully,
- 38:58Speaker 1: you know, then you turn around.
- 39:00Speaker 5: That's why all this, you know, Look, let's be real,
- 39:04Speaker 5: it's the number one reason why I can't.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Run for office.
- 39:07Speaker 9: Whatground nowaday?
- 39:11Speaker 1: Stop? You can't make none of these comment uh huh.
- 39:16Speaker 1: You can't say hot wheels, you can't say pop locking,
- 39:19Speaker 1: you can't say nothing. See, it's just too much that
- 39:21Speaker 1: I would come up with on a person in a debate.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Why can't just say pop yeah? Well, you know, you know,
- 39:30Speaker 1: depend on who you are, because you know, like, okay,
- 39:34Speaker 1: she didn't mean it as hot wheels, accord, I would
- 39:38Speaker 1: have I would have Okay she did say it though,
- 39:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'd have had your I had you all
- 39:48Speaker 1: in the Olympics and everything.
- 39:50Speaker 9: See that, God, that's why you can't be okay, you
- 39:54Speaker 9: can't get the background check because but they can't say
- 39:58Speaker 9: stuff though it's double snuff.
- 40:01Speaker 1: They say it and not only say it. Look at
- 40:04Speaker 1: their policies.
- 40:06Speaker 9: Look at their policies and what they will standard yeah, yeah,
- 40:11Speaker 9: and yeah, and the.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Way they do it. See by the end, I'm off
- 40:14Speaker 1: into your family. Okay, you don't even know how to
- 40:18Speaker 1: draw the line.
- 40:19Speaker 9: Your comeding fills.
- 40:24Speaker 1: All this all right?
- 40:27Speaker 9: Coming up in thirty four minutes after Ain't.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Nobody in your family had no drinking problem?
- 40:32Speaker 9: Stuff like after this crazy You're listening to the Steve
- 40:36Speaker 9: Harvey Morning Show. Here's a relationship topic we recently saw
- 40:43Speaker 9: on We saw this on Steve Harvey FM. You've been
- 40:47Speaker 9: on a few dates. The vibe was good, the text
- 40:49Speaker 9: messages were flowing, and then something changes. They're not texting
- 40:56Speaker 9: as fast, the tone feels different, the emotion Jesus disappear.
- 41:01Speaker 9: You can feel the shift. So here's a question. Is
- 41:05Speaker 9: it okay that you notice a change when someone is
- 41:08Speaker 9: getting less into you or have you been on the
- 41:12Speaker 9: other side pulling away slowly and hoping that person would
- 41:16Speaker 9: get the message, would get the hint. So which one
- 41:19Speaker 9: is it?
- 41:19Speaker 1: Have you been the recipient of some I'm away quickly?
- 41:27Speaker 1: You're out evening? She used to say, Friday.
- 41:33Speaker 9: Now it's this evening, this evening. Yeah all right, so yeah,
- 41:42Speaker 9: but what's the change? Usually, why do you do the change?
- 41:45Speaker 9: Let's hear that part. Oh, the the woman is aggressive.
- 41:54Speaker 2: She takes Is that what you're saying trying to get
- 41:56Speaker 2: out of it? No, that's that's how she acted. That's
- 41:59Speaker 2: why I got it's too aggressive.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Oh she was.
- 42:02Speaker 2: She takes me and said, she takes me and said,
- 42:04Speaker 2: I'll watch you sleep all night.
- 42:06Speaker 1: What the hell you got to Why you are scary?
- 42:12Speaker 1: I can't be in it. That's too okay, So you're out,
- 42:16Speaker 1: you're done. Yeah, I gotta go broke over some real,
- 42:20Speaker 1: real real just what nothing to it? I tell you
- 42:25Speaker 1: the girl one time. You know, I love pizza, right
- 42:29Speaker 1: and this chick man, and I'm not making this up.
- 42:34Speaker 1: We ordered a pepperoni pizza.
- 42:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 42:38Speaker 5: She went in the kitchen and got some ranch and
- 42:43Speaker 5: ketch up and put it on the pizza. Put the
- 42:46Speaker 5: ranch and ketch up all over a pepperoni pizza. I
- 42:50Speaker 5: never spoke to her again.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Over there, you ruin my pizza. So y'all can't be together.
- 42:59Speaker 1: And you get your pizza and she has her pizza.
- 43:01Speaker 11: You just had to end the relationship over ranch dressed,
- 43:05Speaker 11: ship on pizza and catchup and catch up.
- 43:08Speaker 1: What's wrong with you? Issues right here? Issues? This is
- 43:15Speaker 1: this a red flag?
- 43:16Speaker 9: Yeah, you don't mess up pizza. I'm with you, Steve
- 43:19Speaker 9: when you write.
- 43:22Speaker 10: Nephew Tommy, I have shut a relationship down back in
- 43:27Speaker 10: the day because we was hanging out, had a good evening,
- 43:32Speaker 10: nice night, yeah, pill until they went to the bathroom
- 43:37Speaker 10: and left that door and started talking to me, talking
- 43:40Speaker 10: to me outside that man, I couldn't take it no more.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I started getting dressed.
- 43:45Speaker 4: You can't.
- 43:45Speaker 1: You can't talk to me while you're in that bathroom.
- 43:47Speaker 1: I don't.
- 43:48Speaker 10: We ain't close, but we're never going to be that
- 43:52Speaker 10: closet you talk to me. No, that's nothing sexy about that.
- 43:57Speaker 1: The girl went to You couldn't just close the door. No,
- 44:01Speaker 1: I closed the door to the hotel. I'm going you
- 44:09Speaker 1: don't need that.
- 44:10Speaker 5: I went to a club one night with a girl,
- 44:12Speaker 5: the Red Velvet Room up in Cleveland, h and I
- 44:16Speaker 5: thought she was kind of nice and everything.
- 44:18Speaker 1: We agreed to go to the club together. Went to
- 44:20Speaker 1: the club, and man, she spoke to about about six
- 44:25Speaker 1: dudes spoke to her by name.
- 44:29Speaker 5: We had just checked our coats at the coach check.
- 44:32Speaker 5: About six dudes spoke to her by name. What the
- 44:36Speaker 5: seventh dude, how's you that?
- 44:38Speaker 1: Popular?
- 44:41Speaker 4: People?
- 44:43Speaker 1: Obviously? Why all live know you? See a lot of
- 44:50Speaker 1: people know you.
- 44:51Speaker 3: What are you saying?
- 44:52Speaker 1: I wasn't famous, did but she was in the club.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I was twenty three, she was twenty two. Everybody didn't here, No, no, no,
- 45:02Speaker 1: we had just checked our coach. By the time the
- 45:05Speaker 1: eighth dude spoke to her, she turned around. I was
- 45:09Speaker 1: at the coach shit, I gave you that lady fifty,
- 45:17Speaker 1: She said, what is this? I said, I just gave
- 45:19Speaker 1: you the coach.
- 45:23Speaker 9: That was wrong? Coming up next, this is a nephew
- 45:27Speaker 9: and the prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 45:30Speaker 9: to the Steve Harvedy Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 45:33Speaker 9: top of the hour, about four minutes after, it's my
- 45:36Speaker 9: Strawberry letter for today, and the subject is he moved
- 45:39Speaker 9: her in to take care of me. We'll get into that,
- 45:42Speaker 9: find out what that's all about in just a few
- 45:44Speaker 9: because right now the nephew is here with today's prank
- 45:48Speaker 9: phone call. Nephew, what you got?
- 45:51Speaker 4: Uh?
- 45:51Speaker 10: You know what, Shirley, we got an issue with some
- 45:55Speaker 10: of these babies at the school. Some of these babies
- 45:57Speaker 10: is a little too heavy. Some of these kids they
- 45:59Speaker 10: just too heavy. So as the bus driver, I'm just
- 46:03Speaker 10: letting you know, we weighing the babies before they get
- 46:05Speaker 10: on the bus. Were weighing the babies before they get
- 46:08Speaker 10: on the bus because they weighing these axles out.
- 46:10Speaker 1: They're just weighing them out. The baby's too big, it's
- 46:12Speaker 1: too big. The babies is too so there's a scale
- 46:16Speaker 1: at the bus for the baby.
- 46:17Speaker 10: And if your baby is too heavy, your baby got
- 46:20Speaker 10: to walk to school. Okay, I'm just telling what.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Right now.
- 46:27Speaker 10: We got through something about these big baby Ya y'all
- 46:29Speaker 10: ain't seen any big babies going to school, y'all Like like,
- 46:31Speaker 10: y'all don't fit up. Paul, you go down there to
- 46:36Speaker 10: that high school. Your daughter down there, your daughter a
- 46:37Speaker 10: little bit of girl. You know, there's some big babies
- 46:39Speaker 10: down There's some big kid down there at this school.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Not right or wrong. They can't be on the bus
- 46:45Speaker 1: with all that weight at the bus stop.
- 46:50Speaker 10: If you're too heavy, you got to walk with your mama,
- 46:52Speaker 10: got daddy, got to take you to school.
- 46:53Speaker 1: All right, we're weighing you.
- 46:57Speaker 10: It's a scale. We got a scale. I'm not they're
- 47:00Speaker 10: not getting on my bus. Let's go cut up. Baby, Wait,
- 47:03Speaker 10: you're wrong.
- 47:07Speaker 7: Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach traina police.
- 47:11Speaker 9: Yeah, this is Trina, Trina.
- 47:13Speaker 7: My name is Ernest, Ernest Murphy down here at the
- 47:16Speaker 7: bus barn with from the school district. Your son is Devin,
- 47:20Speaker 7: am I right? Yeah? Okay, Now he's in the fifth grade.
- 47:25Speaker 7: I think yeah, yeah, everything is fined. I think he's
- 47:30Speaker 7: on he rides bus ninety, bus ninety three. Does he
- 47:33Speaker 7: ride bus ninety three? Are you meaning yeahs number?
- 47:36Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah he does.
- 47:38Speaker 7: Okay, So now the school board has implemented a new
- 47:42Speaker 7: rule and we're having to call a lot of parents
- 47:47Speaker 7: and let him know about the new rule for us
- 47:50Speaker 7: as far as the buses are concerned. Now, from my understanding,
- 47:55Speaker 7: each child that gets on the bus has to weigh
- 47:58Speaker 7: less than one hundred and twenty five parents. That's what
- 48:01Speaker 7: the new rule that is implemented by waiting.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Boy, what did you.
- 48:07Speaker 12: Say that again?
- 48:08Speaker 7: I feel each child that gets on the bus has
- 48:13Speaker 7: to weigh less than one hundred and twenty five. Parents,
- 48:16Speaker 7: I don't understand.
- 48:18Speaker 4: I don't understand. So what's okay?
- 48:22Speaker 12: So what does what does that mean?
- 48:24Speaker 7: So starting on Monday, Starting on Monday, what they're gonna
- 48:27Speaker 7: do is they gonna the bus driver will have a
- 48:30Speaker 7: scale and he will wait at kids so they get
- 48:33Speaker 7: on the bus. I understand. Man. Then the doctor, like
- 48:37Speaker 7: I say, I'm calling, I'm calling every parent that they say.
- 48:41Speaker 12: You're gonna you're gonna weigh my child before he gets
- 48:44Speaker 12: on the bus.
- 48:45Speaker 7: That's that's what the new rulee, that's what the new
- 48:47Speaker 7: rule is. If he's over one twenty five, then he
- 48:50Speaker 7: still either have to wait, so you'll have to take
- 48:52Speaker 7: him to school.
- 48:54Speaker 12: I have a job, Okay, I have a job. I
- 48:57Speaker 12: WoT to take my kids in school. But doesn't I don't.
- 48:59Speaker 12: That's us to both explore. That's what my tax dollars
- 49:02Speaker 12: take for right reasoning the rational behind this.
- 49:07Speaker 7: Okay, let me tell you what's going on. From what
- 49:09Speaker 7: they're saying, the weight of these children is wearing down
- 49:14Speaker 7: these transmissions on this bus. On these buses transmission, the
- 49:18Speaker 7: transmission that cannot take all of that. So they are
- 49:22Speaker 7: limiting the weight of each child. So now how much
- 49:25Speaker 7: does that discrimination?
- 49:28Speaker 12: I think that's discrimination?
- 49:30Speaker 7: But is your son over Is he over one hundred
- 49:33Speaker 7: and twenty five pounds?
- 49:36Speaker 1: Okay?
- 49:36Speaker 7: He is? Okay, and you're gonna You're probably gonna have
- 49:40Speaker 7: to take your son to school or he's gonna have
- 49:43Speaker 7: to walk running. He probably need to walk to school
- 49:45Speaker 7: if he already hunting twenty five.
- 49:47Speaker 12: Pounds the accident are you talking about?
- 49:56Speaker 7: All I'm saying. All I'm saying is if your sons
- 50:00Speaker 7: and overweight one hundred and twenty five, you know, maybe
- 50:03Speaker 7: the exercise are doing good. When like I said that,
- 50:06Speaker 7: the school's not going to allow him on the bus, Sir, I.
- 50:11Speaker 12: Will accept this. Who do I need to call?
- 50:14Speaker 7: Is there a manager?
- 50:15Speaker 12: Is there a city council member? I mean, this is
- 50:17Speaker 12: seriously the most discriminatory practice I've ever heard of. It
- 50:23Speaker 12: doesn't even make sense.
- 50:24Speaker 7: You're talking about your child, I understand, but we're talking
- 50:27Speaker 7: about a child. They're way more than a grown person.
- 50:29Speaker 12: Your son to get What is your name, sir? Tell
- 50:32Speaker 12: me your name again.
- 50:34Speaker 7: My name is Ernest. I'm down here at the bus
- 50:36Speaker 7: ball I would.
- 50:37Speaker 12: Like to speak with the supervisor like, now, you do
- 50:42Speaker 12: not get to speak to much about my child that way.
- 50:45Speaker 12: You can speak to any kid that way. You should
- 50:47Speaker 12: not be working at a school if that is your attitude.
- 50:50Speaker 7: I now, I don't work at the school. I work
- 50:52Speaker 7: at the bus bawn. I'm down here at the bus
- 50:54Speaker 7: ball and they gave me your They have a tender day, right,
- 50:57Speaker 7: because you're saying he's over behind in twenty five times?
- 51:00Speaker 12: An absolute shock?
- 51:02Speaker 7: This is okay, So do you have a fan child?
- 51:08Speaker 7: I mean, do you have scuba? I'm sorry, do you
- 51:10Speaker 7: have a big child?
- 51:11Speaker 10: Listen?
- 51:12Speaker 12: What my child looks like, how much he weighs is
- 51:15Speaker 12: none of your business. I'm going to call the school.
- 51:18Speaker 12: They can who work with your company? If this is
- 51:20Speaker 12: the way that you treat people and you talk about
- 51:24Speaker 12: children this life but it doesn't matter with you.
- 51:28Speaker 7: I guess what they're doing is this is the way
- 51:30Speaker 7: of them approaching obesity, you know, right? Yeah, the school, whoever, whoever,
- 51:36Speaker 7: all one hundreds twenty five len a walk they might
- 51:38Speaker 7: walk at all? Your son.
- 51:40Speaker 12: Listen, listen, that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
- 51:45Speaker 7: Okay, I had to work.
- 51:47Speaker 12: My son is getting on that bus and I'm going
- 51:50Speaker 12: to call the school board and should not be working
- 51:51Speaker 12: with you your mother bus company.
- 51:53Speaker 4: I don't know what.
- 51:54Speaker 12: I'm calling the city. I will call remember the city
- 51:57Speaker 12: to call that. You need to give me a supervisor's
- 51:59Speaker 12: name right now, right now?
- 52:02Speaker 7: Do you think you need to start cooking different? But
- 52:04Speaker 7: so Devin on how you know, maybe maybe it's starts
- 52:08Speaker 7: at home with what you're feeding him.
- 52:11Speaker 12: Cup mebody, you know, I am calling the supervisor. I'm
- 52:15Speaker 12: calling this the city. I'm calling the school. I'm going
- 52:18Speaker 12: to get so fired. But I don't even believe that
- 52:21Speaker 12: you're allowed to make this call like our other parents.
- 52:23Speaker 7: Okay with this, I'm calling. Well, you're on your way
- 52:29Speaker 7: to work in the morning, Trina. Do you listen to

- 55:51Speaker 1: Love and hold on tight. We got it for you
- 55:52Speaker 1: here it is strawberry and.
- 55:54Speaker 9: Let us subject. Thank you, nephew.
- 55:59Speaker 1: I just heard uncle. I didn't hear bunckle.
- 56:01Speaker 9: I didn't hear that be subject.
- 56:03Speaker 1: He moved her in to take care of me.
- 56:06Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband and I have been married
- 56:09Speaker 9: for four years, but we've been together for twelve years.
- 56:12Speaker 9: We've been back and forth with a lot of our decisions.
- 56:15Speaker 9: At first, we didn't think we had to get married
- 56:17Speaker 9: to make our relationship work. I changed my mind and
- 56:21Speaker 9: wanted a wedding. Now here we are after saying we
- 56:25Speaker 9: did not want any children. We have a four month
- 56:27Speaker 9: old daughter. I'm forty three, so, as you know, it's
- 56:31Speaker 9: harder for older moms. I went back into the office
- 56:34Speaker 9: a month ago. My husband is a flight attendant, so
- 56:37Speaker 9: his schedule is all over the place. He suggested that
- 56:41Speaker 9: one of our good friends move in temporarily to help
- 56:44Speaker 9: us with our daughter. She's divorced and in between jobs,
- 56:48Speaker 9: so he offered to pay her. I thought it was
- 56:51Speaker 9: a sweet gesture, but now I'm sick of her. Honestly,
- 56:55Speaker 9: I'm sick of both her and my husband, and it's
- 56:57Speaker 9: only been two weeks. Focused while I'm working because I'm
- 57:02Speaker 9: worried about what's going on with my baby, my husband,
- 57:05Speaker 9: and our friend while I'm not at home. There is
- 57:08Speaker 9: a nice day bed in our baby's room, but our
- 57:11Speaker 9: friend chooses to sleep on our couch so she can
- 57:14Speaker 9: watch TV at night. She's more of my husband's friend
- 57:17Speaker 9: than mine, so I expected him to tell her to
- 57:20Speaker 9: sleep in the bed and not on our other furniture.
- 57:24Speaker 9: But I should have known he wouldn't do it because
- 57:26Speaker 9: they sit up all night he king and playing cards.
- 57:30Speaker 9: I can hardly sleep now because if they get quiet
- 57:33Speaker 9: in the living room, I go peeking there to make
- 57:36Speaker 9: sure nothing's going on. She is more of a problem
- 57:39Speaker 9: than a helper. How do I break the news to
- 57:42Speaker 9: her that she's got to go? How do I get
- 57:44Speaker 9: my husband to be okay with my decision? Well that's
- 57:49Speaker 9: going to be a tough one because you said he's
- 57:52Speaker 9: more your husband's friend than yours.
- 57:55Speaker 7: But what.
- 58:00Speaker 9: Why are you acting like this isn't your house and
- 58:02Speaker 9: you have no say and what goes down in your house?
- 58:05Speaker 9: Because it is your house and you need to speak up.
- 58:08Speaker 9: Your husband is not going to do it, obviously he
- 58:10Speaker 9: hasn't done it yet. It's only been two weeks. But
- 58:13Speaker 9: she's supposed to be helping, right, I think he's enjoying
- 58:16Speaker 9: it way too much having her there. And what I
- 58:20Speaker 9: thought she was supposed to be helping you and with
- 58:23Speaker 9: the baby and stuff.
- 58:24Speaker 1: What happened with that?
- 58:26Speaker 9: This woman, this friend of you, guys, your husband's has
- 58:30Speaker 9: overstepped and overstayed her welcome. I think you need to
- 58:34Speaker 9: talk to your husband, let him know that it is
- 58:36Speaker 9: time for his friend, she's his friend now to go
- 58:40Speaker 9: because in the beginning of the letter, she was both
- 58:42Speaker 9: of your friend. Now she's just his friend. The problem
- 58:45Speaker 9: is she doesn't have a job to get a place
- 58:48Speaker 9: of her own own. But I'm sure she has other
- 58:51Speaker 9: friends and relatives that can help her out. You're starting
- 58:54Speaker 9: to feel very uncomfortable in your own home. You can't sleep.
- 58:58Speaker 9: It's true that she and your husband are way too
- 59:01Speaker 9: close for comfort, and you shouldn't trust them. Whatever they
- 59:04Speaker 9: call themselves doing when it gets quiet, you should have
- 59:07Speaker 9: a problem with that.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Steve, Well, surely back at him. Another home gone to hell? Well,
- 59:20Speaker 1: let me see if I can fix it. He moved
- 59:23Speaker 1: her in to take care of me.
- 59:27Speaker 5: Now, this letter has a lot of contradiction in it,
- 59:32Speaker 5: so I want to say that. First, y'all be married
- 59:35Speaker 5: for four years, been together twelve, back and forth on
- 59:40Speaker 5: your decisions. You didn't think you needed to get married
- 59:43Speaker 5: to make your relationship work. You change your mind. You
- 59:45Speaker 5: had a wedding, y'all both decided you want kids. You
- 59:49Speaker 5: got a four month over. Then you said something. You said,
- 59:54Speaker 5: you know it's harder for older moms. I don't know
- 59:57Speaker 5: anything about that, so I'm assuming it is. I think
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: it's just hard being a mom. Period, young old whatever.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: You just look like hard to me. Hell, I've never
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: really for their joy being the daddy. To be honest
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: with you, so far, I would imagine if I'd had
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: the lady and had his baby and handy and mad.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: I'm mad as somebody had to go through all this
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: pain and have whoo, y'all's really yeah, I mean really,
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: that's what really gets on a woman's nerve. You went
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: through all this labor and agony to have this baby.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: Now this talking back, what you know what I did
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: to get you here? Man, that's what women be mad about.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: And I understand that because I can't understand that.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: So you forty three?
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: So you know you went on back to the office
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: a month ago. Your husband is a flight attendant, so
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: its schedule is all over the place. Now here's his fix.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: He suggested that one of our good friends move in
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: temporarily to help us with our daughter. See all this
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: is joint. Right now, our good friend move in with
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: us to help with our daughter. It's all all consensual,
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: it's all.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Joint.
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: She's divorce and in between jobs. So he offered to
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: pay her. I thought it was a sweet gesture. See
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: what you did? You thought it was sweet, but now
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: I'm sick of her. Honestly, I'm sick of her and
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: my husband. And it's only been two weeks.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Because y'all got a stranger in y'all's house.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: But once again, though, before we come back, we gonna
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: get into what I keep telling y'all about these opposite
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: sex friends. I don't know how many times I gotta
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: tell y'all, but y'all not listening. Then it just it
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: don't ever work. And sometimes you learn sooner than later.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: It only took you two weeks. So we come back,
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: I'm gonna show you what the problem is, and he
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: is a.
- 1:02:02Speaker 9: Solution I have so right, all right, Steve, we'll have
- 1:02:06Speaker 9: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: minutes after today's Strawberry Letters subject he moved her in

- 1:03:07Speaker 9: take care of me.
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: Well, and you thought you said it was a nice gesture, right,
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: But then it was a joint decision. Y'all decided to
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: move her in to help y'all decided to move her
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: in to help y'all with y'all's daughter.

- 1:03:30Speaker 5: This was discussed, yes, yes, yes, And you said it
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: was a sweet gesture, all right. Now, honestly, I'm sick
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: of her and my husband and it ain't been but
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: two weeks. I can't focus while I'm at work because
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: I'm worried about what's going on with.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: My baby, my husband and our friend. See what happened
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: to the sweet gesture?
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Now, I thought your husband's schedule was all over the
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: place because he had f But now you can't focus
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: at work because you wonder what's going on with your baby,
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: your husband and a friend.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Let's take the baby off to this. That ain't what
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: you're wearing. It's two grown upstad of baby. Fine, you
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: worrying about the relationship between your husband and y'all friend,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that's all this is.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: This is an There's a nice day bed in our
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: baby's room, but our our friend chooses to sleep on
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: our couch so she can watch TV at night. Well,
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: that makes sense. You ain't got no TV in the
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: baby room, so the baby sleep? What's she supposed to do?
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: She in there on the couch so she can watch TV.
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: Y'all got a TV in y'all bedroom. Now, all of
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: a sudden, she mowed your husband's friend and mine, So
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: I expect him to tell her to sleep in the
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: bed and not on our other furniture.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Now, why you're assuming he should know that? You want
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: him to have a problem with it and take on
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: the problem because you got a problem with it. But
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: you ain't said nothing to him about it, though.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: But I should have known he wouldn't do it, because
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: they set up all night keyk here and playing call nothing,
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: just don't know how to play nothing, just sitting dound,
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: just paying your nail. I can hardly sleep now because

- 1:05:54Speaker 5: I get my husband to be okay with my decisions?
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Well, I don't know.
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: I know a lot of married people, and sometimes the
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: wife don't how you feel about her decision.
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: I'm just saying, sometimes you're just gonna do what you
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: wanna do.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: But obviously you feel some kind of way because it
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: was y'all's friend.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: It was a sweet gesture. You thought it was a
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: good idea. Now that girl in there wherein you had

- 1:06:44Speaker 1: For one of these laughs turned into a sly smile,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and then that sly smiles turned into a little hood.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Next thing you know, your lips rubbed against her lips.

- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Some cowboys and then and they're in they shoot yeah
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: there and there kissing so hard and kissing so hard
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: and grinding they don't even know you looking. Whoa, she's

- 1:12:56Speaker 9: closest friends and family members, a nice dinner and a band,
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: and to make it special. When I did that, I
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: assumed that they'd be discussing the budget and total cost
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: with me before confirming anything. Instead, they made reservations, booked
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: a caterer and an expensive band and band, and rented
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: out of full banquet hall without as much as even
- 1:13:19Speaker 9: a phone call. Now they're coming to me for twenty
- 1:13:23Speaker 9: five thousand dollars. Fortunately, I'm doing well, but to just
- 1:13:27Speaker 9: assume I would pay for everything, it's not right. When
- 1:13:31Speaker 9: I confronted my sisters, they said, well, we handled the planning,
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: so it's fair. I'm not going to ruin this big
- 1:13:38Speaker 9: day for my parents. But I'm truly mad as blank
- 1:13:41Speaker 9: at my sisters. What can I do?
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: He as haya?
- 1:13:45Speaker 9: Do you know what she's saying? Yeah, it's just a
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: blank all he is.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's the ore. Then I don't really know, bro.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: You know they knew he was gonna do this anyway.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: See, one thing I've learned in my life quitch suggestion
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: stuff to poke. That's how you say they don't like it.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Oh that's good.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: What well, if you go up to a regular person,
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: you go, hey, man, let's go watch shopping.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, that's good.
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: But they didn't run any of this by him, the
- 1:14:30Speaker 11: costs along the way and communicate with him, you know,
- 1:14:35Speaker 11: doing good.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Yeah, he gave them, said this is what we ought
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: to do. Y'all go ahead and create the party. And
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: then they went on and created. Now you got it,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: and you said, you're gonna ruin that big day for
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: thousand dollars. Man, that's a lot.
- 1:14:51Speaker 9: But he's doing Yeah, he said, he's doing well. He
- 1:14:53Speaker 9: just didn't like the fact that they assumed he was
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: gonna pay for it. But it was.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Already Wait a minute, Wait a minute, he didn't know
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: they're gonna assume he gonna pay for you know, they can't. Uh,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: And he's doing well. Listen to me. You know your people,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: you know your people. Yeah, every time I get the
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: little family reunion request, I already know what that means.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: What you pay for it, you foolish person. That's all right,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: all right?
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: So what can he do?
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: He can't do anything At this point, you're saying, right,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: let it go. I mean, you know, the fan we
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: be doing like real post stuff in my family. Who's
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: gonna bring their bread? You know, I'll be sitting them here,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: going by a barbecue. You need white bread? But a barbecue.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Who is this person that brings the bread? Don't who's
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: gonna bring the folks and spoons? You know how you going?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: That's usually my job. Sorry, that's usually my job. Yeah
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: all right, yeah, all right.
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: I don't think we have time, but this, this woman
- 1:16:11Speaker 9: basically always loved baking.
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: You bring.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Kool aid, bring the coolid you can't cook. Oh my god,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: the kids, Oh my god, Oh my god. I won't
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: apologize to our listeners out there. I know I'll be
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: missing out on that. But she come talking about do
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: people steal drink.
- 1:16:34Speaker 9: Cooler because of all the sugar and our health concerns
- 1:16:37Speaker 9: as we get older.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: That's very fine, you do. I've never seen you drink
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: kool aid. Don't even spam is a top seller in
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: your head.
- 1:16:49Speaker 9: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:16:51Speaker 9: more this ignorant show.

- 1:17:05Speaker 9: is just two hours into the nine hour international flight
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: in the Caribbean. After a passenger lost their phone mid flight,
- 1:17:14Speaker 9: flight safety experts say lithium ion batteries, commonly found in
- 1:17:18Speaker 9: smartphones and power banks, pose a fire risk to aircrafts
- 1:17:24Speaker 9: and confined cabin spaces if they are damaged or overheated.
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: According to the Independent dot Com, the Air France maintenance
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: crew did an extensive search for the cell phone, and
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: the flight was cleared to take off twenty minutes later.
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: I didn't know that.

- 1:17:45Speaker 1: phone or they just looked for well, it just says they.
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: People think they lost it and then they find out
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: they didn't even have a down phone.
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: Yeah right, first, yeah, you know, they had already been
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: up there for two hours and the flight was nine hours.
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: So yeah, now they got to start all over again.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Wow, what if you would have passed?

- 1:20:48Speaker 9: on your chest? Okay, so not.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Every hair in your put in my mustands and my beard?

- 1:21:43Speaker 9: a song.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I can't do that. Never hear music, never hear me.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna go crazy. I'll be singing though, never hear

- 1:23:11Speaker 9: last break of the day, Steve.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: How you feeling? How you doing?
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: You know, I'm getting better, not one hundred percent, but
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I'm much better. But just going back to work kind
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: of helps me because it kind of pushes me to
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: the next level. It takes my mind off of it.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I left my pain medicine at home yesterday. Thh cat,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: there's a mistake. Oh, dad was a mistake? Who after
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: that second show? Yeah? Man, like somebody had plugged refrigerator
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: cord up in my jaw and just had cut the
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: refrigerator on like low home Hu.
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: And then I work with some young people too. My
- 1:23:53Speaker 5: stylist is young, a makeup artists is young, and they
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: are no help because they thirty and thirty one. They
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: don't even know what sixty eight is. They just be
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: saying just the dumbest stuff like what like grit your teeth,
- 1:24:10Speaker 5: Grit your teeth so you can keep pressure on it.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: What are you serious? Dental work? And yeah, I had
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: seven bone grafts done in my mouth on both sides
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: upper and lower. Y'all. So I have seven holes in
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: the back of my head and that was elect Yeah
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: who thought? Well what you mean by that show you
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: chose to do it, right or did you have to
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: do it but you chose.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: To do it?
- 1:24:38Speaker 10: Well?
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I chose to do it because the alternative wasn't
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: going to be good. Okay, I don't know if Now
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: what do you call it surgery?
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: What kind of suff elective? Elective?
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: It's like when people get like classic cosmetic surgery.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Yes, it's not. No, no mine, yeah, well no, mine
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: was selective, okay, no elective, it is different.
- 1:25:06Speaker 9: Okay, So what do you mean by selective?
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: I had to have it done because I could select
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: health or unhealthy. Now you get to pick, and I
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: chose health, so I selected health. Elective is like you know,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: plastic surgery, like you have fast stomach, or you can
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: get this liposuction. Uh huh uh you have to get that. Yeah,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: but it ain't got nothing to do with your health.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: That's vanity. This was not vain. What what they did.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: You can't even see I had it, so it ain't vain.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Uh you know what I mean? You have all your
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: teeth he don't know. Okay, I don't know what. I'm
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: four of them gone.
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: And then I tell you, I had two titanium screws
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: and my jaw on one on the right and one
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: and left.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: They put the titanium screw in there and they put
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: the cap on it. Then they set the tooth on
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: the top. Well, I had that in the top and
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: the bottom. They took all four of them out, and
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: then I had three wisdom teeth that was taken out.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: They had to redo them. So that's seventeenth bones. That
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: ain't no replacement, and it just holes in my head.
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: So you.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Just drinking, Well, let me tell you what the mistake
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: I made yesterday, because you know my head, My head
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: was feeling pretty good and I was chewing, and normally
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: I just chew on my front teeth.
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: I got to numb go all the way to the side,
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: just as long as I don't push it to the back.
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: And I don't know what the hell I was thinking about.
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: I let a piece of hot chicken go in the
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: back and it fell in one of them holes. Well,
- 1:26:49Speaker 5: let me tell you something. I never had to run
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: up out of here. I never had to run up
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: out of here. I had that hot meat down in
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: that hole, and you can't just get it out.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: Man. Let me tell you so what what. I had
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: that hot piece of chicken meat down in that hole
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: in my jaw. God, y'all, you be talking to the Lord,
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: and I was trying to cool it, but it had
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: been down in the hole. How do you You can't
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: cool it? So it cooled off on his own. That
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: was last night at seven thirty. I ain't ate nothing
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: since I'm kidding. I'm thinking I'm gonna eat today. Yeah,
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: now I'm not nothing.
- 1:27:49Speaker 9: Boy.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. So he said, for your throat,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: mister Harvey, just eat shaved ice. Okay. I had one
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: little chunk's ice fall in that hole. Boy, let me
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: tell you something. I can't tell you which one was. Yeah,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: I can't tell you, but I was heavily medicated when
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: that cold hit, so I didn't really get the full
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: effect of it. But that medicine done. Now, So that
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: hot a piece of chicken.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I ain't right down there, boys, And I can't
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: eat anything with spiciness to it because my throat is
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: still raw.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: So it just burns too much when I can't eat nothing, though, Trooper.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: But I'm but I'm but I'm over it though, Shirley,
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: I'm being honest with you. I'm truly truly over this.
- 1:28:38Speaker 9: But it's gonna take time.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: You had surgery, see half a day. I want it over. Saturday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday,
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Tuesday was my doctor told me that you can't. I
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: told me not to come back to work. And I
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: looked at the doctor. I said, yeah, any idea how
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: much they pay me?
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Any and that's just you. I said, let me tell
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: you what it is. I bet you to be at
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: work tomorrow. You said, anice, I have to just take
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: care of yourself. I said, I will. Doctor. Thank you. Hey,
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: y'all talk to God today. He'd absolutely love to hear
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: from you. Y'all stay in peace. Amen.
